  1. I'm going to invite you, if you can, God's directed

  2. me to read out of the book of Judges. Go with

  3. me right now, please, to the book of Judges,

    Judges 1 chapter mention

  4. chapter 1 and verse 1. Amen. Amen. And we're

  5. going to, we're just going to read a couple of

  6. verses there. That's it. Amen. Book of Judges,

    Judges 1 chapter mention

  7. chapter 1 and verse 1. Hallelujah, Jesus. Hallelujah,

  8. Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. I love when God just

  9. messes up with the program, you know, and just

  10. does something different. Makes me a little nervous

  11. sometimes, but that's where I need to be, you

  12. know. I just can never depend on ourselves, our

  13. gifts, our talents, our abilities. We've got

  14. to be sensitive to what God is doing. So I'm

  15. going to say amen. The word of the Lord says,

  16. After the death of Joshua, if you don't know

  17. who Joshua is, Joshua was a conqueror. He was

  18. a conqueror. He was a warrior. Amen. After Moses

  19. came Joshua, he was a possessor of things. The

  20. people of Israel inquired of the Lord, who shall

  21. go up first for us against the Canaanites to

  22. fight against them? The Lord said, Judah. Everyone

  23. say Judah. Judah shall go up. Behold, I have

  24. given the land into his hand. Whose hand? Judah's

  25. hand. With God's help today, I'm just going to

  26. preach for a few moments because whatever happens

  27. next, it's just, it's up to the Lord. It's up

  28. to God what he wants to do. But I'm just going

  29. to preach for the sake of a title. We're just

  30. going to call this message, Judah Shall Go Up.

  31. Let's pray. Father, we love you today. We thank

  32. you for what you are doing in our place, in this

  33. place today. This is your house, God. And we

  34. approach these things reverently. We approach

  35. them, God, with humility, with honor, with respect,

  36. God. Become prepared, Lord. with worship, with

  37. praise, with intention, with purpose, with a

  38. plan, with an agenda, but we recognize, God,

  39. that we're on your time and that there are moments,

  40. instances, God, where you will simply interrupt

  41. in order to speak to us in a prophetic manner.

  42. So I pray, God, that you would give us all prophetic

  43. hearing today. to hear what your spirit is saying

  44. to the church, and that you would prepare us

  45. all. Anoint my lips of clay, God. Inspire me,

  46. God, to preach your holy word in the name of

  47. Jesus. Everyone say amen. And if you're going

  48. to back me up and preach today, say amen. You

  49. can be seated in God's house. I feel something

  50. so profound in my spirit today because... I believe

  51. that there are just moments in time, church,

  52. where God must interrupt us and must deal with

  53. us, remind us of some core things that are fundamental

  54. about who we are as his people. We must understand

  55. that we are God's people. Somebody say amen.

  56. I say we are the people of God. And we belong

  57. to him. And we were created for a very express

  58. purpose. To give him glory. Everything about

  59. our lives. I need you to understand today. Everything

  60. about our lives. Everything about the way God

  61. formed us. The way he made us. Down to the hands

  62. that we have. And the feet that we walk on. And

  63. the eyes that we see with. And everything about

  64. us was made to give him glory. Everything about

  65. us. This was God's express purpose. This was

  66. his design. This is how he made us. He gave us

  67. hands, not simply to do work, but he gave us

  68. hands so that we might clap unto the Lord. How

  69. many of you know these are instruments? Why don't

  70. we all use this instrument right now and just

  71. give God a hand of praise? Everything about our

  72. lives is meant to give God glory. God gave us

  73. a mouth, not simply that we can communicate with

  74. one another in this life, but not just a mouth

  75. to speak words and to communicate, but above

  76. all things, he gave us a mouth that we might

  77. worship him. Amen. He gave us a tongue that we

  78. might offer him unceasing praise and unceasing

  79. glory and unceasing worship. Our mouths were

  80. not made simply to tell our loved ones that we

  81. love them and it's nice to hear those things.

  82. Our mouths were not made simply to echo and reverberate

  83. things that are going on around us to report

  84. the news of the day and to talk about how things

  85. are going. Our mouths are not simply to converse

  86. over small matters and over little things. And

  87. all the things that our mouth can be used. But

  88. the Bible says that in our mouth. Hallelujah.

  89. In these vocal cords that God has given us. That

  90. everything the Bible says that has breath. Praise

  91. ye the Lord. So our mouths were made to give

  92. God praise and glory. So I wonder for the next

  93. 30 seconds. If there's a group of people in this

  94. house today. That can open up. I know we've been

  95. singing all service. I know some of you have

  96. been shouting already. Some of you have been

  97. singing already, but I wonder for just another

  98. moment, another 30 seconds, if we could just

  99. open up this mouth that God has given us and

  100. render unto the Lord a praise that is due his

  101. name. Somebody lift up your voice and just say

  102. hallelujah. Somebody lift up your voice and say

  103. praise the Lord. Lord, I love you. I exalt you.

  104. I magnify you. I glorify you. I've got to praise

  105. him. I've got to open my mouth. of the sun to

  106. the going down of the same. I will praise his

  107. holy name today. Oh, somebody shout hallelujah.

  108. This mouth was made to praise God. we have on

  109. us are not simply meant to walk around this life.

  110. These feet are not simply meant to adorn your

  111. favorite shoes and to walk around and to get

  112. from point A to point B. Obviously, they serve

  113. a purpose functionally. We need our feet, and

  114. we thank God if you have capacity in your legs,

  115. even if you move a little slower, but if you

  116. can still move your legs to some degree and have

  117. mobility, you are blessed today because you have

  118. your legs and your feet. Praise God. But I want

  119. to remind you today that your feet were not simply

  120. made to get from point A to point B because in

  121. the very beginning where God created, I kind

  122. of preach like I feel in the Holy Ghost. In the

  123. very beginning where God created Adam and he

  124. placed him in the garden. Can I remind you that

  125. Adam had nowhere to go? Can I remind you that

  126. Adam had no point A to point B? Adam didn't have

  127. to go anywhere. He didn't have a schedule. He

  128. didn't have an agenda. He didn't have a job.

  129. His only purpose for walking, let me tell you,

  130. was to walk with God in the cross. of the day

  131. so even your walking even your legs were made

  132. to worship and that's why you see men of God

  133. like David when the presence of the Lord came

  134. back and the glory of God the ark of the covenant

  135. came back out of the enemy hands back into Jerusalem

  136. the Bible says that he danced before the Lord

  137. with all of his might I've got news for you today

  138. my legs are not simply meant to get to be my

  139. legs are not simply meant to jump up and down

  140. from my favorite ball player and my favorite

  141. team my legs were not meant to jump up and down

  142. every time steph curry hits a three -pointer

  143. my legs were made to give god the glory these

  144. legs were made i wonder if there's somebody right

  145. now that can thank god i can leap for joy i can

  146. dance in my presence Come on, somebody love them

  147. today. Oh, I wonder if you can stomp your feet

  148. right there where you are. Hallelujah. What I

  149. love about the Apostolic Church is that we are

  150. a praising people. We know how to lift our voices

  151. unto God. Our hands were made. For worship. For

  152. clapping. For the lifting of our hands unto the

  153. Lord. Our mouths were made to confess his goodness.

  154. And to declare his praises from one generation

  155. to the next. And our legs were made to walk with.

  156. See everything about us was designed with the

  157. express purpose of giving him glory. And that

  158. is why we are commanded to praise God. Praise

  159. God. today is not a suggestion it is not our

  160. recommendation it is not our word of advice we

  161. I'm talking about you and I today are commanded

  162. to give God the praise that means even if I don't

  163. feel like it and even if I'm not in the mood

  164. to do it even if I had a bad week even if things

  165. aren't going my way I understand that I am obligated

  166. to give God the praise. I've got to give him

  167. praise. And it's important for us today, church,

  168. to see that this is why God created us. This

  169. is why we have what we have. And it now extends

  170. to every part of our life. Every aspect of our

  171. life needs to give glory to God. Everything that

  172. God has given us, he's given us so that it might

  173. give glory to God. And that he might receive

  174. the praise. our bank account, whether it's the

  175. car that we drive or the place of work that we

  176. show up to on Monday morning. Every aspect of

  177. our life ought to be an anthem to God of how

  178. good he has been. Every aspect of our life. My

  179. house is not just where I live. But my house

  180. is the house of the Lord. My room is not just

  181. my room, my kitchen. Every room in your house

  182. you need to fill with praises unto God. Because

  183. the Bible gives us this principle in the Psalms

  184. where it tells us that God inhabits or he is

  185. enthroned in the praises of his people. So praise

  186. is not only what we were designed to do and not

  187. only what we're commanded to do, but it is the

  188. key that attracts the presence of God. God wants

  189. to sit in our life. He wants to, how many of

  190. you want him to dwell in your life? Hallelujah.

  191. If you want God to dwell in your life in a greater

  192. measure, yes, you can read the word and that

  193. will certainly help. Hallelujah. Yes, you can

  194. come to church. that will certainly help yes

  195. you can know the right people and connect to

  196. the right things and those things will certainly

  197. help but if you want more of God's presence in

  198. your life then you've got to have the attitude

  199. of a praiser you've got my lord you've got to

  200. have the attitude of a worshiper because the

  201. more I praise him the more of his presence will

  202. fill up my life the more I acknowledge him the

  203. Bible says, lean not to your own understanding,

  204. but acknowledge him. Make him known and praise

  205. him in all of your ways. And he shall direct

  206. your path. And so if I want more of God, I've

  207. got to become a greater praiser. And praising

  208. God involves all of my... It involves everything,

  209. all my capacities and all my faculties and everything

  210. that I could possibly use as an instrument. And

  211. for those of you who have special gifts and abilities

  212. to praise the Lord, just like we were praying

  213. a few moments ago, you musicians and you praise

  214. singers and even those who help with the audio

  215. because you're also contributing to the sound

  216. that is being broadcast. In this place. Even

  217. the technical things. And the instruments. All

  218. of these things. I've come to tell you. That

  219. that gift that God has given you. That ministry

  220. that God has given you. It is not to make yourself

  221. famous. It is not to. Oh hallelujah. It is not

  222. to simply. Hallelujah. Create some emotional

  223. atmosphere. Your primary objective. If God has

  224. given you a special instrument. Or gift of praise.

  225. Is to use that for the glory. of god and to help

  226. bring in his presence into our midst i believe

  227. how do i feel this in the holy ghost that our

  228. church is stepping into another dimension into

  229. another realm of revival that's been the prayer

  230. that's been that's been the promise that's been

  231. the effort but it's not going to come through

  232. programs necessarily it's not going to come through

  233. methodologies it's not going to simply come through

  234. plans of men but it's going to come by putting

  235. the first things first and in order to have the

  236. kind of revival restoration and taking back what

  237. belongs to us is that we need to restore the

  238. place of praise in our life in our church we

  239. need to put the tribe of Judah at the very front

  240. lines of the battle and say Judah it's now your

  241. turn to blow the trumpet in Zion it's now your

  242. turn to make a joyful noise unto the Lord It's

  243. now your turn to lift up your voices, all ye

  244. lands. It's now your turn to clap your hands,

  245. all ye people. It's the Judah generation. You

  246. Bible students will understand that one of the

  247. things the devil hates most about you is your

  248. praise. Every time you open up your mouth, brother,

  249. you give God the glory and you praise him. Every

  250. time you lift your hands, it just irks the devil.

  251. You know why? Because that's the very thing that

  252. he himself was designed to do. Satan himself

  253. was given all the faculties within his whole

  254. supernatural being to give glory to God as the

  255. choir director and the chief musician of heaven.

  256. That was his job. That was his assignment. But

  257. obviously he fell from where he was because pride

  258. can be the one thing that robs you of what belongs

  259. to God. He thought of himself that he should

  260. be higher than God. Come on. He thought of himself

  261. that he. himself should receive glory instead

  262. of God and it was at that moment that he fell

  263. out of heaven like a lightning bolt down to the

  264. earth and I'm here to tell you that you always

  265. know the spirit of the enemy is at work not when

  266. when ghosts and demons start manifesting not

  267. when witches start showing up and putting blood

  268. on things not when warlocks start casting spells

  269. on you and all that that's not the sign that

  270. the devil is trying to Interrupt your life. The

  271. sign that the devil is working is when pride

  272. starts getting a hold of your heart. And now

  273. you can no longer give God the praise. Now you

  274. can no longer. Oh, hallelujah. Come before his

  275. presence with thanksgiving. Hallelujah. It's

  276. pride. Someone say pride. And just like pride

  277. brought the downfall of. celestial being of worship

  278. in the heavens with God. so too pride is the

  279. thing that gets in the way between us and a more

  280. glorious praise that is due unto the Lord. And

  281. so we've got to make sure that our pride is not

  282. in the way. And when we look at the scripture

  283. today, hallelujah, obviously I'm not going to

  284. dissect this verse by verse, but I want us to

  285. at least see a very important principle that

  286. as the people of God were looking to claim the

  287. land that belongs to them, as they were looking

  288. to continue this reign or this campaign of conquest,

  289. which began with Joshua, they were inquiring

  290. of the Lord. They're saying, Lord, how are we

  291. going to do this, God? How are we going to have...

  292. this revival? How are we going to take what belongs

  293. to us? How are we going to possess the promises

  294. of God? How are we going to fight back these

  295. enemies called the Canaanite? All of these godless

  296. and wicked and perverse and pagan people who

  297. are occupying the place that belongs to us. How

  298. are we going to come against them? Are we going

  299. to do it with bows and spears? Are we going to

  300. do it with tanks and artillery? Are we going

  301. to do it with a nuclear weapon? God, how are

  302. we going to drive out these enemies from the

  303. land? And as they were inquiring of the Lord,

  304. God, what? Because that's what we do sometimes.

  305. We're crying out to God. Lord, show me the way.

  306. Show me, God, what's my next step? What should

  307. I do now? God. give me an answer come on has

  308. anybody ever prayed like that some of you are

  309. praying like that even at this very season in

  310. your life praying God what do I do Lord give

  311. me direction Lord show me the way God help me

  312. through this and they were inquiring of the Lord

  313. saying God and they had all these other ideas

  314. in their mind probably of what they could do

  315. and what they should do but then And the word

  316. of God came to them as they were seeking the

  317. Lord for an answer, for direction, for greater

  318. revival for them and their generations. The Lord

  319. said this to them in verse 2. The Lord said,

  320. Judah. Somebody say Judah. Oh, come on. Somebody

  321. shout Judah. And the Lord said, Judah shall go

  322. up. And that is significant because Judah is

  323. a name that means praise. Praise. It means praise

  324. the Lord. And so God must have mystified them.

  325. God must have baffled their minds. God must have

  326. caused a bit of controversy. When he said if

  327. you're going to take back what belongs to you.

  328. If you're going to possess the promises of greatness

  329. and revival. If you're going to see the land

  330. of milk and honey. Then the thing you've got

  331. to get right in your people. Get right in your

  332. family. tribe of praise on the front lines of

  333. the battle I have come to tell you today that

  334. every spirit oh my god I feel an anointing on

  335. me every spiritual blessing every miracle every

  336. promise every blessing that God wants to do in

  337. your life and in your family every supernatural

  338. divine thing every gift every good thing from

  339. above is going to be accessed primarily through

  340. the tribe of praise If you become a praiser,

  341. there's no depression that can drown you. I wish

  342. I had a witness. If you become a praiser, there's

  343. no sickness that can stop you. If you become

  344. a praiser, there's no devil that can run you

  345. out of your neighborhood. I wish I had a witness.

  346. If you become a praiser, there's no witch, there's

  347. no whore. There's nothing in this world that

  348. can stop you. Why? Because greater is he that

  349. is in me. that is in the world so I lift up my

  350. hands and I lift up my voice come on somebody

  351. give the Lord some praise today somebody open

  352. up your mouth somebody magnify the name of Jesus

  353. in this house today come on hallelujah hallelujah

  354. Come on, let's stay in the spirit for a moment

  355. right now. I feel something about to break loose

  356. in this place today. I feel something about to

  357. stir and break in this place today. There's a

  358. miracle on the other side of your praise. There's

  359. a breakthrough on the other side of your praise.

  360. And so if I were the devil and I wanted to stop

  361. you and block you from your promises, if I wanted

  362. to block this church from the next level of revival,

  363. if I wanted to stop, if I wanted to make sure

  364. that Brother Kong over here is the only baptism

  365. we have all year, if I were the devil and I wanted

  366. to do that, then I would work overtime to silence

  367. the praise and the worship and the anointed praise

  368. in this church. in our lives because the devil

  369. knows that if we ever get a revelation of apostolic

  370. Holy Ghost Pentecostal praise and we start opening

  371. up our mouth and we start doing our dance and

  372. we start running these aisles and we start lifting

  373. our voices, there is nothing he can do to stand

  374. in our way. Come on, hallelujah. Somebody clap

  375. your hands. Come on, somebody clap your hands.

  376. Somebody lift your voice. Somebody magnify him

  377. today. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. There's

  378. a lot of things that I may not get right. There's

  379. a lot of things that... That you and I may not

  380. get right. Even collectively. Put the best and

  381. the brightest together in one room. And put minds

  382. together. And all these things could be good

  383. and wonderful. But let me tell you something.

  384. The victory is in our praise. And the thing that

  385. has established and defined and distinguished

  386. the apostolic church which we are of is how we

  387. praise God. There is something about a service

  388. like we are in today. There is something. It

  389. is not emotionalism. It is not fanaticism. It

  390. is not sensationalism. We're not just trying

  391. to get a reaction out of you. Hear me in the

  392. Holy Ghost. I'm not just trying to tug on your

  393. heart strings. Do you hear what I'm saying today?

  394. I'm not just trying to tug on an emotional and

  395. pull an emotional. string in you I'm not just

  396. trying to get a reaction out of you today there

  397. is something powerful and prophetic church when

  398. we really unlock the praises and we really begin

  399. to step into that dimension oh let me tell you

  400. what begins to happen as you begin to praise

  401. God like the children of Judah the tribe of Judah

  402. they went before the people of Israel and they

  403. began to praise God and you know the thing about

  404. that were so fascinating to me. This is the same

  405. thing that caused so much confusion when Joshua

  406. and the people marched around the city of Jericho

  407. those seven times. And don't you know that it

  408. was the tribe of Judah that was on the front

  409. lines of the people of God. As they began to,

  410. on the seventh day, lift up their voices with

  411. a great and glorious shout unto the Lord. And

  412. they raised their horns. And they lifted their

  413. trumpets. And they began to praise God. It must

  414. have confused their enemies who were there thinking,

  415. what has gotten into these crazy people? What

  416. has gotten into these lunatic people? What has

  417. gotten into these backwards people? What do they

  418. think that they're going to do? to overcome us

  419. just by making a bunch of noise but let me tell

  420. you something here in the holy ghost to the world

  421. there's a bunch of noise but to god is the key

  422. to victory oh i don't care what anybody says

  423. about me i don't care what anybody's got thinks

  424. about me i know that if i lift up my voice unto

  425. god i know that if i walk in the dimension of

  426. praise that god Piano player, I need your help

  427. right now. I feel something about to break in

  428. this house today. There is something that God

  429. is doing. He is shifting us. He is aligning us.

  430. He said, I need you to be that people of praise.

  431. I need you to be mamas. I need you to be mamas

  432. of praise. I feel something about to sweep over

  433. my soul right now. Where are the sisters? Where

  434. are the mamas? Where are the mothers who really

  435. know how to praise God? Are the sisters and the

  436. moms. Who show oh my God. Who can praise God

  437. in the good time. Are there any sisters in the

  438. house today. That said if God be true. Let every

  439. man be a liar. Is there a woman of faith here

  440. today. That says I'm going to lift my voice unto

  441. God. Come hell and high water. I praise him in

  442. the kitchen all by myself. I praise him on the

  443. way to work. I praise him when I'm coming home.

  444. i will bless the lord at all times oh my god

  445. and his praises shall continually be in my mouth

  446. oh my god my god my god my god somebody shout

  447. hallelujah somebody shout hallelujah come on

  448. shout hallelujah If there's something I want

  449. my children to learn, I don't just want them

  450. to learn just how I dress, which is good, and

  451. just how I talk, which is good. But I got to

  452. give them the secret how to get through every

  453. valley, every high, and every low in this life.

  454. I got to show my son and my daughter that when

  455. the going gets tough, you don't sit there and

  456. fold your arms and wait for things to get better,

  457. honey. lifter I got oh my god my god my god i

  458. want my children to know the secret to the blessings

  459. of god they are not received through material

  460. things they are not received through carnal things

  461. but the blessings of the lord are received in

  462. spiritual means and there is nothing more spiritual

  463. there is nothing more prophetic than when somebody

  464. full of faith begins to exercise your faith And

  465. begins to magnify the name of the Lord. There

  466. is not. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, my God,

  467. my God, my God. We've come now to a generation

  468. where people are smarter than they've ever been.

  469. They're more intelligent than they've ever been,

  470. Brother David. They're more educated than they've

  471. ever been. And I've got a problem with some of

  472. it on this note. I'm not against those things.

  473. I'm not against knowledge, intellectualism. All

  474. that is wonderful if it can be used for the glory

  475. of God. But I've come to tell you that sometimes

  476. we analyze ourselves out of a prophetic praise.

  477. Oh, my God. Oh, my Lord. Our knowledge and our

  478. pride and all those things get in the way. We

  479. start getting into this state where we just think

  480. I'm too cute to do that now. Oh, my God. I'm

  481. too dignified to praise him like that now. Somebody

  482. better help me today. He said, Pastor, but I

  483. got degrees on the wall now. And I got respect

  484. on the workplace now. And I got the respect of

  485. my neighbors now. And I can't be acting like

  486. that anymore. The devil is a liar, brother. I

  487. wonder if there's a man in this house, a young

  488. man. an older man of faith that says i know the

  489. key to victory i know the key to glory and i'm

  490. not ashamed i'm not ashamed to lift up my voice

  491. i'm not ashamed to praise my god Somebody ought

  492. to stand up on your feet. Somebody ought to rise

  493. up in faith. Somebody ought to stand up in the

  494. Spirit and give God the glory. I've come to a

  495. place where I will not apologize. I've come to

  496. a place where if my praise makes you uncomfortable,

  497. that's your problem. It's not mine. place where

  498. I was going to praise God whether you like it

  499. or not because I know I know I know what the

  500. Lord has done for me I know I wish somebody would

  501. just lose your mind for a few moments I wish

  502. somebody would just give God the glory give God

  503. the praise hey I'm here to tell you, I got nothing

  504. against those things. Those things are wonderful.

  505. But let us never forget where we came from. Let

  506. us never forget what brought us to where we are

  507. today. It wasn't how smart you were. It wasn't

  508. how cute you were. It wasn't the car you drive.

  509. It wasn't the stuff you own. It was that you

  510. knew how to put on the garment of praise. him

  511. when I got a lot because I learned how to praise

  512. him when I had nothing that's why I can praise

  513. him when I'm feeling good because I learned how

  514. to praise him when
