  1. I want to invite you, if you can, join me in

  2. the Word of the Lord, Book of Luke, Chapter 16.

    Luke 16 chapter mention

  3. Book of Luke, Chapter 16, and Verse 19. Amen.

    Luke 16 chapter mention

  4. I'll give you a moment to get there. If not,

  5. it'll be right there on the screen. We are in

  6. a series called Countdown to Eternity. And if

  7. there's ever been a time, ever been a moment

  8. where we need to focus, redirect our lives, our

  9. hearts, align our decisions, everything in light

  10. of eternity, I believe that time is now. And

  11. I come today with a burden in my heart, really.

  12. And I'm just delaying a few more moments before

  13. I read the verse and and then we'll all be seated.

  14. But but I need you to understand that today's

  15. message is not just another sermon. I don't take

  16. it lightly, the subject matter, but it is one

  17. that must be preached. And so with that in mind,

  18. I'm going to invite you now to read with me the

  19. words of Jesus. It says there was a certain man.

  20. rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen

  21. and fared sumptuously every day. There was a

  22. certain beggar named Lazarus full of sores who

  23. was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with

  24. the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table.

  25. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores.

  26. So it was that the beggar died and was carried

  27. by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man

  28. also died and was buried. And being in torments

  29. in Hades, which is another word for hell, he

  30. lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off and

  31. Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said,

  32. Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus

  33. that he may dip the tip of his finger in water

  34. and cool my tongue, for I am tormented. in this

  35. flame. Somebody say amen. Today, church, I'm

  36. going to preach about something that doesn't

  37. get preached in churches much anymore, but I'm

  38. going to do so reverently, and I'm going to entitle

  39. this message respectfully, but this is the title

  40. God gave me. If you wake up In hell. If you wake

  41. up in hell, which I pray to God that you never

  42. experience. Would you bow your heads? Would you

  43. close your eyes? We're going to give this moment

  44. to the Lord. We're going to pray. We're going

  45. to ask God to speak because. This is a heaven

  46. or hell kind of message, but God's going to work.

  47. Father, I thank you, Lord, for what you're doing

  48. in our midst today. I thank you, God, because

  49. you have kept us, you have preserved us. I thank

  50. you for your grace, Lord, that we stand on today.

  51. And even though you are a judge and even though

  52. you are righteous, you sit on your throne, God,

  53. you've also been so patient, so gracious and

  54. merciful towards us, God. Today, Lord, is no

  55. exception. And I pray, Lord, that every word

  56. that comes out of my mouth, Lord, would be seasoned

  57. with holy salt and that would fall on good ground,

  58. God, that you would talk to us today, Lord. Father,

  59. I pray in the name of Jesus, God, that you would

  60. anoint our hearing, God. I thank you, God, for

  61. everything that you're going to do in this place,

  62. and we... We submit it to you, Lord. Anoint my

  63. lips of clay and put your word in my mouth. In

  64. the name of Jesus, I declare this right now.

  65. I declare salvation over somebody's life today.

  66. I claim the blood of Jesus over somebody today.

  67. Oh, God, I pray, Lord, you will have mercy on

  68. somebody today. In the name of Jesus. Somebody

  69. say, in the name of Jesus. Come on, clap your

  70. hands. Let's give God one more praise. Amen.

  71. Amen. You may be seated. You may be seated. I

  72. must confess to you today that my job, my assignment,

  73. is not one that I take lightly, but it is one

  74. that I take very, very seriously, and I can tell

  75. you without going into a lot of details the fact

  76. that the devil don't want me to preach this today.

  77. I'm going to say that again. It said the devil

  78. doesn't want me to preach this today. If there's

  79. one message the devil wants to silence in the

  80. church, it's messages on hell. Because what the

  81. devil wants is for us in our minds and in the

  82. world at large, even in the church, for us to

  83. pretend like this place doesn't exist. It kind

  84. of helps keep him in business. I want you to

  85. understand that hell, is not a scare tactic.

  86. It's not a fictional or metaphorical place. It's

  87. a real place. And if you believe in heaven, which

  88. I would assume we all do, somebody say amen.

  89. If you believe in heaven, then you must also

  90. believe in hell. Heaven can't be heaven if hell

  91. isn't hell. What would make heaven so special

  92. then if everything was heaven? It may surprise

  93. you to know that hell or the subject of the afterlife

  94. is mentioned ten times more in Scripture than

  95. heaven. Think of that. Ten times more the Bible

  96. talks about that place than it does heaven. And

  97. no passage... In the Bible, it evokes more emotion,

  98. more thought, contemplation, maybe even repentance,

  99. than the one that we are looking at today. Jesus

  100. tells a story, and scholars are not all agreed

  101. on whether this story was a parable or a true

  102. account. Some say that it was a true account

  103. because he uses names, and most of the parables

  104. that Jesus teaches, He doesn't name the people

  105. in it. They're like anonymous figures. But in

  106. this story, names are mentioned. And so some

  107. believe that that means that this was a true

  108. account. And whether it's a true account or a

  109. parable is really not the fact of the matter.

  110. It's the content of the story. And Jesus gives

  111. us a sobering look into life after death. Seen

  112. through the eyes of a rich man who lived a sinful

  113. life and a beggar named Lazarus who lived a godly

  114. life. These two men lived very different lives,

  115. different roads, different decisions, different

  116. paths of life. One enjoyed a life of ease and

  117. opulence. The other? ate from the crumbs that

  118. fell from the rich man's table. One was presumably

  119. in good health, maybe could afford the best health

  120. care he can get, while the other had sores on

  121. his bodies. That as graphic as it sounds, as

  122. horrendous as it is, even the dogs would come

  123. and lick the sores as he begged at the gate of

  124. the rich man. One had it all, and one had...

  125. But here's the thing. Both of them died at some

  126. point. And when these men die, both wake up in

  127. eternity. Both wake up in eternity. One was carried,

  128. and another was buried. One was carried away,

  129. another was buried. Buried away. One woke up

  130. in heaven. The other woke up in hell. Now before

  131. I can talk about the reality of hell, which is

  132. what I'm going to preach about today, I must

  133. establish or cement in our minds the reality

  134. of death. Now I know this topic makes us uncomfortable.

  135. But sometimes we have to be made uncomfortable.

  136. Somebody say amen. We have to be made uncomfortable.

  137. And sometimes messages need to be preached like

  138. the one I'm preaching to make us uncomfortable.

  139. You know, we can't just always be preaching your

  140. blessings on the way. Feel good message. I love

  141. a good feel good message better than anybody

  142. else. I love them. But sometimes we need to be

  143. made uncomfortable and. A subject like death

  144. makes us uncomfortable because we think we're

  145. just going to live here forever. But the reality

  146. is that there is a time for us all. There's a

  147. time for us all. Jesus said, and it came to pass

  148. that the beggar died and the rich man. You see,

  149. the thing about death is that death is the ultimate

  150. equalizer. It's the great equalizer. Death doesn't

  151. respect who you are. Death doesn't care how much

  152. money you have in your bank account. Death doesn't

  153. care who you know. Doesn't care what street you

  154. live on. Death doesn't care about any of those

  155. things. It is no respecter of persons. It is

  156. the ultimate equalizer. That's what death is.

  157. It doesn't care about your status in life, whether

  158. you're educated, uneducated, powerful, powerless.

  159. Every one of us has an appointment with death

  160. that we cannot cancel. Those that have tried,

  161. those that have tried to prolong, reschedule,

  162. eventually it comes knocking at your door. In

  163. Hebrews 9 and 27, it states, it is appointed

  164. for men to die once, but after this, the judgment.

  165. So we have an appointment with destiny. We've

  166. got an appointment with eternity. We've got an

  167. appointment with death. Can't avoid it, can't

  168. cancel it, can't escape it. That's just the reality.

  169. It is appointed for man to die. And this is what's

  170. going to happen at some point. Now, if the Lord

  171. should tarry and we live here, now we hope that

  172. that doesn't come for a long time. But only God

  173. knows. Furthermore, there is no delay, no detour

  174. between death and eternity. In some religious

  175. schools of thought, in some denominations, they

  176. teach this doctrine of purgatory. that says that

  177. there is this middle place that if you didn't

  178. do the right things in this life, you can go

  179. to this next in -between phase and kind of work

  180. things out there and have your sins purged there,

  181. and then you can qualify for heaven. It's kind

  182. of like a backup plan. I think people have made

  183. a lot of money on that backup plan, selling that

  184. backup plan to people. But there is no third

  185. option, my friend. There's only two. There's

  186. only two options. You're either, if you're born

  187. again, amen, born again of water, baptized in

  188. the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the

  189. Spirit and been living right, because you can't

  190. just get baptized and then go back to living

  191. in sin. You immediately enter the presence of

  192. God. Whoo! Praise be to the Lord. This is what

  193. Paul said. He said to be absent in the body is

  194. to be present with the Lord. So I thank the Lord

  195. that whenever God should take me, amen, I don't

  196. have to go to a holding room. I don't have to

  197. wait somewhere. From that point, I'm immediately

  198. carried into the presence of God. Praise be to

  199. God. Hallelujah. No delay. No detour. It's immediate.

  200. But if you die without being saved, sadly, it

  201. will also be immediate. But instead of waking

  202. up in the presence of God, you will wake up in

  203. hell. If you wake up in hell, this is what you

  204. need to know. Is that, number one, you'll be

  205. consumed in pain. Talking about physical torment.

  206. I know. We don't want to hear this. We don't

  207. want to think about this. We don't want to accept

  208. this reality of life, truth, but it is what it

  209. is. You know, there is this concept people have

  210. about... About how both, you know, mainly in

  211. the secular world, but sometimes it kind of creeps

  212. into the church, is that hell is like this big

  213. old party. You know, it's a big rock concert

  214. or something. And everyone's just going to live

  215. it up down there. And that's a big lie from the

  216. devil. Hell is not a party. That's one of his

  217. biggest lies. Some, they think that it's just

  218. a dark and lonely prison. You know, just going

  219. to sit there and just be lonely and, you know,

  220. in a dark place. And, I mean, that's not good,

  221. but it's much worse than that. Jesus said, and

  222. in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torment.

  223. And the first thing the rich man who this is

  224. describing feels after death, immediate pain.

  225. Immediate, conscious, he's aware, and it's relentless

  226. pain. He's awake, he's aware. It's important

  227. for us to understand this biblical truth about...

  228. the reality of hell, and the literal, the physical

  229. pain that comes with it. He's not dreaming. He's

  230. not hallucinating. He's not just having a bad

  231. day. It's not a nightmare. He's not in a coma.

  232. He is in hell. Not a theoretical hell. Not a

  233. figurative hell. Some would say, my week has

  234. been like hell. No, that's not what we're talking

  235. about here. Oh, my life has been hell on earth.

  236. No, I can assure you that hell and hell is worse

  237. than hell on earth. Not a theoretical hell, not

  238. a metaphorical hell, not a figment of one's imagination,

  239. but a literal place of torment. What was tormenting

  240. him physically there? Well, verse 24 tells us,

  241. Jesus said, then he cried, and he said, Father

  242. Abraham, Have mercy on me. You see, he's repenting,

  243. but it's too late. Oh, my God. There's a lot

  244. of repenting going on in hell, but it's too late.

  245. Have mercy on me. Send Lazarus that he may dip

  246. the tip of his finger in some water, just a little

  247. drop. And cool my tongue. Why? For I am tormented

  248. in this flame. He was burning. He was burning.

  249. This man is burning in the fire. And all he wanted

  250. was just a drop. A sprinkle of water to cool

  251. his tongue. Just one drop. He said, I don't want

  252. a whole bottle. I don't want this. I don't want

  253. that. Just give me a little drop. That's all

  254. he asked for. Just cool my tongue. But none can

  255. be found. There was none there. No drop. No water.

  256. And you know, it's not hard to imagine. If you've

  257. ever touched a little flame, you know, if you

  258. by accident ever encountered a flame, it's not

  259. hard to imagine what that might feel like now.

  260. Imagine that pain multiplied, magnified, and

  261. eternal with no relief. Oh, help us, Holy Ghost,

  262. today. In Mark 9, Jesus described hell as a place

  263. where the worm does not die. I'll spare you what

  264. that means today, but... But I'm just focused

  265. on the fact that he said, and the fire is not.

  266. Ultimately, a lake of fire awaits those who reject

  267. Christ. And all of these words that God, he's

  268. not talking about just metaphysical or, you know,

  269. just spiritual fire. He's talking about an actual

  270. flame. This is a place of torment. This is a

  271. place of physical pain, literal pain that never

  272. dies. This is a place where there is no water,

  273. a lake of fire. And you say, well, how could

  274. a loving God send anybody to hell? How could

  275. a good God send anybody? How could this place

  276. actually be if God is love and God is good and

  277. God is merciful? How could he send anybody there?

  278. Well, let me correct that line of thought today

  279. and tell you that God doesn't send anybody there.

  280. We are given a choice. Hallelujah. Hell is a

  281. place where the fire never dies and there's no

  282. water to quench your thirst. But I've got good

  283. news for you here today. You don't have to go

  284. there because Jesus has already given us the

  285. water. He said, if anyone thirsts, come to me

  286. and drink. And so if you're thirsty today, if

  287. you want heaven today, all you got to do is drink

  288. the living water. Somebody give God. water is

  289. here. There won't be any water there, but there's

  290. water here. Hallelujah. There's a drink here.

  291. And this water that I offer, like Jesus told

  292. the Samaritan woman at the well, is a perpetual

  293. spring and you will never thirst again. And that

  294. is the promise of giving your life to the Lord.

  295. That is the promise of salvation, is that we

  296. will never thirst again in this life and in the

  297. next life. Oh, there's plenty of water in heaven.

  298. In fact, there's a whole sea of glass in heaven.

  299. But if you wake up in hell, you'll be consumed

  300. in pain. And if you also, God forbid, wake up

  301. in hell, you'll forever be separated from God.

  302. The first... Is a physical torment. But this.

  303. Is a spiritual. Torment. The rich man was. Able

  304. to see Abraham. The father of faith. A far off.

  305. And right next to him he sees. Lazarus. Right

  306. beside him. Now. Here's. Here's the rich man

  307. on one side, and there far off is Abraham and

  308. Lazarus, and he's thinking to himself, man, if

  309. I could just get over there, if I can just find

  310. a way to cross over to where they're at. I mean,

  311. they look happy over there. They're in the joy

  312. of the Lord over there. They're not suffering

  313. like I am. And so he wants to cross over to the

  314. other side. He sees where they are, and he sees

  315. where he is, but in verse 26, Abraham tells him,

  316. after he prayed, have mercy on me, Abraham tells

  317. us, between us and you is a great gulf fixed

  318. so that those who want to pass from here to you

  319. cannot, nor can those. from their past to us.

  320. This great gulf represents eternal separation

  321. where you, if one is found in hell, is forever

  322. and permanently cut off from the presence of

  323. God. You see, the greatest torment of hell may

  324. not even be the fire, but the fact that you'll

  325. never feel the presence of God again. And I believe

  326. that there's no greater pain than that. It's

  327. heavy in here, I feel it. But I also feel the...

  328. Presence of God. I feel God is speaking to somebody

  329. right now. Somebody say amen. Can I keep preaching?

  330. Is that all right? Then he says the gulf is fixed.

  331. Fixed. It's immovable. There's no bridge between

  332. heaven and hell. They are permanently divided.

  333. Those in heaven can't reach those in hell, and

  334. those in hell can't reach those in heaven. Now,

  335. here's the thing. This man, the rich man, he

  336. was used to maybe through his means, through

  337. his money, through his power and influence, getting

  338. certain things that other people couldn't get,

  339. and so perhaps he thought, I can buy my way out

  340. of where I am, but your money ain't good there.

  341. Can't pray your way out. Can't beg your way out.

  342. Can't buy your way out. Like the door to Noah's

  343. Ark, once it's shut, nobody can open it. Hmm.

  344. Cannot be opened again. But again... It's the

  345. separation from the presence of God that makes

  346. this place so miserable. You know, there's a

  347. lot of things, church, that you and I can endure

  348. in this life. You know how we can endure it?

  349. Because we have the Spirit of God. Some of us

  350. have had, we had bad weeks, or some of you are

  351. getting over sickness, getting over emotional

  352. things, and there's a lot of things in this life

  353. that are terrible. There's troubles in this life.

  354. But you know, we can get through those things.

  355. Why? Because we have the presence of God. Amen.

  356. Hey, let me go a step further. Even the unbelievers

  357. are benefiting from the presence of God. What

  358. would happen to this world when the church is

  359. not here anymore? Even the atheists and the ungodly

  360. and the sinner, even they are benefiting from

  361. the Spirit of God being here. What would happen

  362. to our community if there wasn't a praying church

  363. that was still there? But if you remove the presence

  364. of God, if you remove the spirit of God, life

  365. is hard enough with his spirit. I can't imagine

  366. what it would be like without his spirit and

  367. in a place like there. Be forever separated.

  368. There is no bridge between where the rich man

  369. was and where Abraham and all the Old Testament

  370. saints and Lazarus were. There's no bridge to

  371. span that gap, to get him over that place. But

  372. I've come today with good news today. Because

  373. if you're sitting here in this church on this

  374. afternoon, there is a bridge that you can cross

  375. over. And that bridge is named Jesus Christ.

  376. Somebody give him some praise today. 2 ,000 years

  377. ago, he went up that hill, Calvary, and he died

  378. for us, and he bridged the gap between the earth

  379. and heaven. of sin. And the Bible says, for there

  380. is one God and one mediator between God and men,

  381. the man Christ Jesus. But here's the thing, you've

  382. got to cross that bridge now. Because if you

  383. ignore it and you think you're going to cross

  384. it later, there won't be any bridge to cross.

  385. You've got to cross it now. Someone say now.

  386. This is the day of salvation. Oh, hallelujah.

  387. Would you pray with me just for a moment? Come

  388. on, hallelujah. Somebody just lift your hands

  389. and give God some glory. Hallelujah. I feel the

  390. presence of the Lord. I feel God working in somebody's

  391. life today. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Oh, thank

  392. you, God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord.

  393. Just give me a few more moments, church. Give

  394. me a few more moments, friend. I need to tell

  395. you, there's one other reality, there's one other

  396. thing that you must understand, that if you,

  397. God forbid, if you wake up in hell, you will

  398. be full of regrets. This is an emotional. Once

  399. the rich man realizes there's no hope for him,

  400. he starts crying out. Notice what he says in

  401. verse 27. He said, I beg you, therefore, Father,

  402. that you would send him, speaking of Lazarus,

  403. to my father's house. For I have five brothers

  404. that he may testify to them lest they also come

  405. to this place of torment. Not only does the rich

  406. man regret his own choices, but he regrets not

  407. warning others about the consequences of dying.

  408. Without God. The rich man is tortured over the

  409. thought of what could have been. If I only had

  410. listened. If I only had paid attention. If I

  411. had only stopped making excuses and ignoring

  412. and resisting the call. Of God. His word. I wouldn't

  413. be. And that was plaguing him in that place.

  414. It was emotional. Psychological. Torment. That

  415. he was dealing with. That I only listen to the

  416. teachings of scripture. And the prophet. And

  417. Moses. And so his heart was full of regrets.

  418. As he starts remembering his family. His brother.

  419. those that he loved, and he starts thinking of

  420. them and all the times that he ignored God, all

  421. the times that he had heard the preaching but

  422. said, oh, that's just a bunch of hocus pocus.

  423. That's just a bunch of nonsense. I've got all

  424. the time in the world. I'll live life on my own

  425. terms. I'll come when I'm good and ready. No,

  426. now he's burning in hell, and he wished he had

  427. a second chance. And so the rich man becomes

  428. an evangelist in hell. But it's too late. Hell

  429. is full of evangelists. But no one will ever

  430. hear their message. If only we got a burden for

  431. people like that before eternity. Oh, he's got

  432. a burden. He cares about souls now, doesn't he?

  433. Because that's where he is. Hallelujah. And so

  434. he is consumed there. He's got this great. And

  435. then he tells, send somebody. And you know what

  436. Abraham tells him? I don't have the verse up

  437. there, but he basically says. If they don't listen

  438. to Moses and the prophets, they're not going

  439. to listen to somebody who rose from the dead

  440. and goes and talks to them. They've got Moses.

  441. They've got the prophets. In other words, they

  442. already got the word. So they need to make their

  443. decision based off of what they have heard. The

  444. emotional anguish must have crushed him. And

  445. Luke... 13, 28, it says, Jesus said, there will

  446. be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Come on up,

  447. brother. I'll be closing here in a minute. There

  448. will be weeping, gnashing of teeth. And the weeping

  449. is not just from the physical pain, dear friend,

  450. it's the regret. The weeping, the gnashing of

  451. teeth, you know what gnashing of teeth is? It's

  452. another term for grinding teeth. You know when

  453. something hurts so bad or you feel anxiety or

  454. you grind your teeth? Squeeze your teeth together.

  455. Well, this is what happens in hell. There's weeping.

  456. Why are they grinding their teeth so much? Why

  457. are they weeping? It's the sound of people. Hear

  458. me today. It's the sound of people who could

  459. have responded. To God. But didn't. The sound

  460. of regret. The sound. Of how things could be

  461. different. Oh, hallelujah. Hell is full of people

  462. who thought they had more time. Hell is full

  463. of people who thought there's going to be a next

  464. Sunday. There's going to be another opportunity.

  465. Hell is full of people who thought it was just

  466. a fictional idea, a scare tactic that preachers

  467. use to get people in their church. Hell is full

  468. of people who gambled with eternity. If you wake

  469. up there, there will be no redos, no makeup test,

  470. no do -overs. That'll be it. That'll be final.

  471. Maybe the rich man had an opportunity like some

  472. of you have today. Those of you, I'm talking

  473. directly to you. Number one, those of you who

  474. are not baptized in Jesus' name in water. For

  475. the remission of your sins. And I'm also talking

  476. to those of you who have been born again. But

  477. you're not living right. Can I minister just

  478. a few moments here? Not living right. I'm talking

  479. even to some saints that you need to get over.

  480. You need to forgive in your heart. Get that bitterness

  481. out of your heart. Oh, Jesus. Get that anger

  482. out. That disobedience out. Get that rebellion

  483. out of your heart. Oh, Lord. Oh, Jesus. But those

  484. who have not yet made that decision, I don't

  485. want you to be like this rich man. You know why?

  486. Because hell is a terrible place. But you know

  487. the craziest thing is that it was never made

  488. for man, really. The Bible says that hell was

  489. prepared for the devil and his angels. You and

  490. I, we're made for heaven. Jesus said, I go to

  491. prepare a place for you. I'm preparing a place

  492. for you, and I will come again and receive you

  493. to myself. Now, where I am, you may be also.

  494. Would you close your eyes all over this building?

  495. I feel the Spirit of the Lord. I feel the Word

  496. of God tugging on someone's life today. Hallelujah,

  497. Jesus. I tell you what, I wouldn't be behind

  498. this pulpit today, church, young man, young lady,

  499. I wouldn't be standing behind this pulpit today

  500. if I didn't hear a message like I'm preaching

  501. to you right now some 30 years ago. I wouldn't

  502. be standing here today if I didn't hear a preacher

  503. tell me about that terrible place. You say, well,

  504. why do we got to talk about it? Why does it got

  505. to be? Because you got to know where God is saving

  506. you from. know how serious it is. You gotta know

  507. that you can't play games with God. You can't

  508. play, you know, you just can't fiddle and, you

  509. know, mess around with the things of God. That

  510. this thing is serious and it's for real and it's

  511. eternity! Pray that somebody right now as the

  512. Lord just begins to work in your heart. I know

  513. there's somebody here today under the sound of

  514. my voice, maybe even watching the live stream.

  515. There's somebody today that said, I don't want

  516. to go to that place. Oh, there's going to be

  517. a lot of repentance in hell. There's going to

  518. be a lot of crying. There's going to be a lot

  519. of... There's a lot of that. There's a lot of

  520. sorries. There's a lot of apologies. There's

  521. a lot of people falling on their knees down there

  522. saying, oh, man, God, if I just get one more

  523. chance. But once you're there, if you wake up

  524. in hell, you're out of chances. That's it. It's

  525. over. It's done. But the fact that you're sitting

  526. there today. And considering, some of you, I

  527. don't even know why you're taking as long as

  528. you are to get baptized in Jesus' name. I'm telling

  529. you that in a couple of weeks, we're having another

  530. Baptism Sunday here at City Light Church. We're

  531. having another Baptism Sunday. She's not here

  532. today because, oh my God, because she's been

  533. sick. But my daughter, Chloe, has given her life

  534. to Jesus Christ. And in a couple of weeks, I'm

  535. going to baptize her in the name of Jesus. For

  536. the remission of her sins. It's going down in

  537. Jesus' name. She told us just a few weeks ago,

  538. just, you know, wasn't trying to, you know, people

  539. think preacher's kids, well, you know, they're

  540. supposed to give. No, everyone's got to make

  541. their own decisions. And we don't force, I've

  542. never forced my children to tell them, you know,

  543. you're 12, so you're getting baptized. No, it

  544. doesn't work like that. God's got to do it. And

  545. if God does it, then let the Lord work. But I

  546. wonder, I wonder if... if there might be somebody

  547. who wants to join my daughter in a couple of

  548. weeks from now and getting baptized in Jesus.

  549. Now, I wonder if there's somebody. We're going

  550. to fill up the tank. We're going to fill it up.

  551. Amen. Would you stand with me here today? Hallelujah.

  552. We're going to fill up the tank. I mean, as it

  553. is, we've got to tell our landlords I love them,

  554. but we've got to give them like weeks in advance

  555. notice and say, can we please fill up the tank?

  556. do it every Sunday if they'll let us, but we're

  557. going to fill up the tank in a few weeks, and

  558. I wonder if there's somebody else today that

  559. says, you know what, Pastor? I don't want to

  560. wake up in hell. I want to make heaven my home.

  561. Oh, I wonder, do you hear the Lord today? Do

  562. you hear him? He's calling on you. Oh, in the

  563. name of Jesus, hallelujah. I want everyone to

  564. lift up your hands right now. I want everyone

  565. to lift up. We're going to say a prayer. I'm

  566. going to lead us into a special prayer right

  567. now. A special prayer. And when I'm done with

  568. this special prayer, this is what I'm going to

  569. want. I'm going to want those of you who are

  570. not baptized, but because you've heard the word

  571. of the Lord, you want to give your life to Jesus,

  572. and you want to get baptized. Now, it can be

  573. in two weeks. Hallelujah. Or it can be before

  574. then, or it can be maybe the following. But you

  575. know that you need to get baptized. Amen. And

  576. I'm going to want you to come up to this altar

  577. after we pray because we're going to do a special

  578. prayer for you as well. And then also I'm going

  579. to want those to come up who just need, you feel

  580. like you just need to get some things right with

  581. the Lord today. There are just some things that

  582. you need to restore. Maybe you just need to get

  583. right with God. But we're going to pray first.

  584. Hallelujah. We always wait to the altar to start

  585. praying. But sometimes I believe that the reason

  586. why some of you get stuck, you don't come to

  587. the altar like you should, is because you need

  588. to get a breakthrough right there where you're

  589. at first. Hallelujah. You need God to do some

  590. things right there where you're at to give you

  591. the faith to come forward to this altar. So right

  592. there by the authority of the Word of God and

  593. the... power that's in the name of jesus i speak

  594. life and i prophesy over every one of your souls

  595. and your spirits today i speak with the authority

  596. of god i speak with the authority of the holy

  597. ghost i come against every hex every curse every

  598. lie from the pits of hell that's been trying

  599. to stop you from coming closer to god I rebuke

  600. the hand of the enemy today. I command the enemy

  601. to take his hands off of your life. I command

  602. it right now in the name of Jesus. And I speak

  603. over you. I speak an anointing over you right

  604. now. I speak salvation over you. I speak the

  605. blood of Jesus over your life today in the name

  606. of Jesus. every addiction will be broken every

  607. curse every sin every bondage in Jesus name I

  608. speak it right now I speak it right now some

  609. of you need to get you need to get delivered

  610. from some things right now you got to get delivered

  611. from some things that are that Might threaten

  612. your eternal security. You need to get delivered

  613. from that devil. We need to cast that devil out

  614. of your life. Cast him out of your heart. Cast

  615. him out of your family. Cast him out of your

  616. marriage. In the name of Jesus. We've got to

  617. cast him out. I speak over every saint of God.

  618. Who's been already washing the blood of the lamb.

  619. But the devil's been fighting you too. and mail

  620. he's trying to drag your soul to hell he's trying

  621. to he's trying to trip you up he's trying to

  622. cause you to fall he's trying to lead you astray

  623. he's trying to deceive you confuse you and bind

  624. you but right now in the name of jesus i bind

  625. the works of the enemy feet. Be free in the name

  626. of Jesus. Come on, somebody worship him. I want

  627. you to worship him right where you are. I want

  628. you to love him right where you are. I want you

  629. to praise him right
