  1. I'm going to preach for a few moments today about

  2. having faith for a miracle. We're going to read

  3. in the book of Mark, chapter 10. And verse 46.

    Mark 10 chapter mention

  4. What a beautiful worship we were a part of today.

  5. I love our praise team, our musicians, amen.

  6. Let's thank God for them. Mark chapter 10, verse

    Mark 10:46–52

  7. 46 through 52. We're going to read in Spanish,

  8. but you can follow on the screen in English if

  9. you would like.

Entonces

  14. Jesús, deteniéndose, mandó llamarle y llamaron

  15. al ciego. diciéndole, ten confianza, levántate,

  16. te llama. Él entonces, arrojando su capa, se

  17. levantó y vino a Jesús.

  22. Amén. Someone say amen. Alguien diga amen. Let's

  23. pray. Vamos a orar. Father, we love you today.

  24. We thank you for your spirit that we feel here.

  25. We're believing God. That someone is going to

  26. receive their miracle. I pray Lord. That you

  27. will anoint my lips. Put your word in my heart.

  28. That I declare boldly. With faith. Your word

  29. today. And we will not hold back our praise.

  30. We're going to worship you. We're going to thank

  31. you for all that you do today. Father, in the

  32. name of Jesus, we pray, amen. Clap your hands.

  33. Thank the Lord. You may be seated. In this story,

  34. Jesus is passing through Jericho. And the streets

  35. are filled with many people. There are many voices

  36. shouting. Everyone wants to see Jesus. Many people

  37. are there. But there was one cry that rose or

  38. rises above the crowd. This cry was different

  39. from all the other noise that was being made.

  40. It was the cry of... A man named Bartimaeus.

  41. Bartimaeus was blind. He cannot see with his

  42. natural eyes. However, Bartimaeus could see with

  43. his spiritual eyes. In his faith. he could see

  44. his miracle. On that day, he could see his life

  45. changing. On that day, he could see his life

  46. changing. Being healed. And he could see the

  47. one who had the power to heal him. And his name

  48. is Jesus. How many of you know his name today?

  49. I said, how many of you know his name today?

  50. This story shows us something powerful. Sometimes

  51. the difference between staying Where you are.

  52. And receiving a miracle is one cry. Amen. One

  53. act of faith. One moment of desperation. That's

  54. all it takes. It's very simple. Very simple.

  55. Your life can change in a moment. You don't have

  56. to wait until tomorrow, next week, next year,

  57. but here right now, if you would cry out to God

  58. and believe for your miracle, everything in your

  59. life can change. I wonder if there is a witness

  60. here today. that knows that it only takes one

  61. cry to see the power of God. Come on and clap

  62. your hands. Hallelujah. I am a witness today.

  63. There have been many times where I would just

  64. cry out to God and say, God, I need you. And

  65. I need you right now. I can't wait till tomorrow.

  66. God, I'm not going to let you go. Hallelujah.

  67. I won't let you go until you bless me. Is there

  68. somebody like that here today? Oh, I'm not convinced.

  69. Is there somebody like that here today? Jesus

  70. was going out of Jericho. That means that Bartimaeus

  71. almost missed him. This was his last chance.

  72. This might be your last chance. And he could

  73. have stayed quiet. He could have let the moment

  74. pass him by. But instead he lifted up his voice.

  75. I'm not going to let this moment pass me by.

  76. I'm not going to watch my miracle pass me by.

  77. My healing pass me by. And so he began to lift

  78. up his voice. There will be moments in our life

  79. church. Friend there's going to be moments in

  80. our life. When Jesus is passing by. His glory.

  81. His power. His grace. His mercy. Is passing by.

  82. Amen. When he moves. When he calls. And when

  83. God does that. We must take the time to respond.

  84. We must respond. Someone else cannot cry for

  85. you. Amen. Don't look at your neighbor. Your

  86. neighbor is not going to cry for you today. It's

  87. got to come from you. My God. God's looking at

  88. you. I can't cry for you. I can pray with you.

  89. But the desire, the faith, has to come from you.

  90. It says, I believe. Hallelujah. Somebody say,

  91. I believe. Let's look at three simple but powerful

  92. lessons today. Amen. Number one. We must see

  93. with the eyes of faith. Bartimaeus was blind.

  94. But his faith gave him vision. Hallelujah. He

  95. wasn't looking at everybody else. He couldn't

  96. see anybody. He couldn't even see Jesus with

  97. his natural eyes. But he could see Jesus in faith.

  98. And he believed that Jesus could change his life.

  99. That's what faith will do. Faith sees with the

  100. eyes cannot. Somebody say amen. I said somebody

  101. say amen. Hallelujah. That's why the Bible says

  102. to walk by faith and not by sight. Don't trust

  103. what your eyes tell you. Don't go by your eyes.

  104. Don't look around. Don't look over there. Put

  105. your faith in Christ today. Believe with the

  106. eyes of faith. And that faith will show you your

  107. miracle today. Oh, hallelujah. Faith looks past

  108. our problems. And it sees the promises of God.

  109. I'm getting excited now. It looks past all of

  110. your issues. It looks past your present. And

  111. it sees your future. I'm talking to somebody

  112. right now. You got to put your faith in God.

  113. Don't put your faith in man. Don't put it in

  114. me. Don't put it in your friend. Not in your

  115. family. Not in your job. Oh, but put it in Jesus.

  116. Put it in. Come on, can somebody love him today?

  117. Why don't you give God a praise right now? Somebody

  118. shout hallelujah. Gotta put it in God. You know

  119. why? Because man will fail you. Man will fail

  120. you. But God never fails. Love never fails. Hallelujah.

  121. Turn to somebody and tell them, God never fails.

  122. Hallelujah. In fact, God doesn't even know how

  123. to fail. He's never failed ever. He doesn't know

  124. how to do it. Because everything he does he will

  125. accomplish it. Everything he says will come to

  126. pass. Hallelujah somebody. God cannot lie. But

  127. his word will stand forever. Maybe you cannot

  128. see your answer right now. But can you see it

  129. in faith? Can you? Let me ask you. Can you see

  130. your family being saved right now? Not with your

  131. eyes. Because maybe they're not serving God.

  132. Maybe they're resisting the Lord right now. Maybe

  133. they're saying, I don't want to hear about God.

  134. But what does your faith tell you? My faith tells

  135. me that God's going to save my family. God's

  136. going to restore my family. Can you see your

  137. body being healed today? Don't listen to the

  138. pain you're feeling right now. I thank God for

  139. the doctors. And they give us their reports.

  140. And they show us those x -rays. They show us

  141. those pictures. They say, you have a problem

  142. right here. When they show you those things,

  143. you can just say, thank you, doctor. But my faith

  144. tells me something different. Oh, I wish I had

  145. a witness here today. I'm going to ask you whose

  146. report will you believe today? The doctor's report?

  147. The lawyer's report? Or will you believe the

  148. report of the Lord today? Because his report

  149. says I am free. I wish I had a witness. His report

  150. says I am healed. It says I am delivered. That's

  151. the report of the Lord. Bartimaeus could not

  152. see with his physical eyes. But he saw his miracle

  153. in the Spirit. So he started to cry out. But

  154. then something happened. People tried to tell

  155. him to be quiet. So number two, I want to tell

  156. you, don't let fear silence you. He cried out,

  157. Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me. And those

  158. around him tried to shut him up. He said, shh,

  159. stop it. Keep it down Lower your voice Jesus

  160. doesn't have time for you Nobody wants to hear

  161. you right now So they tried to tell him to stop

  162. To control his worship But do you know what Bartimaeus

  163. did? He said Just for that. I'm going to be louder

  164. now. Hallelujah. Because you told me to be quiet.

  165. I'm going to lift my voice all the more. And

  166. say Jesus. Son of David. Have mercy on me. Fear

  167. will try to shut you up. It will try to silence

  168. your voice. and tell you to stay where you are

  169. but I've come to tell you you can open up your

  170. mouth today and say I'm going to trust in God

  171. clap your hands and give God some praise when

  172. you're desperate for a miracle You can't stay

  173. silent. You know the Bible says that if we don't

  174. praise him that the rocks will cry out. You know

  175. the difference between me and a rock? How many

  176. of you want to know the difference? Is that I

  177. need a miracle and the rock doesn't. I'm not

  178. going to let the rock cry out for me. Come on,

  179. somebody. Come on, somebody. Are you going to

  180. let a rock? cry out for you that rock don't need

  181. a miracle that rock don't need healing but if

  182. you stay silent that rock is going to take your

  183. place but I got news for that rock today I'm

  184. sorry rock but I'm going to cry out to Jesus

  185. I'm going to cry out to the Lord I wonder if

  186. there's somebody right now stand up on your feet

  187. and cry out unto God and say bless me now my

  188. Savior come on and lift up your voice unto God

  189. Es lo que tenemos que hacer. We've got to cry

  190. out unto him. Tenemos que clamar a él. Bartimaeus

  191. is a witness of what God can do. De lo que Dios

  192. puede hacer. When you simply trust in him. And

  193. forget what everyone else is saying. My God.

  194. Bartimaeus. Maybe he told his friends. If you

  195. don't want it. I'll take it. If you want to act

  196. like you don't need it. If you just came to church

  197. to look cute. And say hi to your friends. If

  198. that's all you want. You can have that. But if

  199. you don't want that miracle. I'll take it I come

  200. to tell somebody today if you don't want God's

  201. blessing on your life that's your choice you

  202. can leave this place the same way you came in

  203. but I'll take your blessing hallelujah but don't

  204. let fear stop you because your miracle is just

  205. one Shout away. Somebody say amen today. Let's

  206. just thank God in this place. Hallelujah, Jesus.

  207. Oh, thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Let's thank

  208. God in this place. God wants to work right now.

  209. How many of you believe that? I don't have a

  210. long message today. because it doesn't take very

  211. much but there's one more thing I need to tell

  212. you if you want your miracle whatever it is you

  213. see a miracle is something that you need that

  214. only God can do. If someone else could do it,

  215. then it's not a miracle. If it's impossible,

  216. that's when God steps in. Amen. But before Bartimaeus

  217. could receive it, The Bible says he did one more

  218. thing. He did something bold. Before he was healed.

  219. Before he received his sight. The Bible says

  220. that he threw aside. His garment. He was wearing

  221. a garment. And that garment, that garment marked

  222. him as a blind man. Because those who were sick,

  223. had to wear certain garments which identified

  224. them as having a disease. It pushed them away

  225. from other people. And they wore that garment

  226. Everywhere they went, they couldn't take it off.

  227. It became a part of who they are. It became their

  228. identity. If you saw somebody with a sick garment,

  229. you wouldn't have to ask them if anything was

  230. wrong. You just knew that they were sick. Because

  231. you saw their garment. That person is sick. That

  232. person is a beggar. And Bartimaeus wore this

  233. every day. He woke up in the morning. And when

  234. he put on that garment. He was telling the world.

  235. I've got an impossible problem. I'm sick and

  236. I can't get well. And he would walk around everywhere

  237. with that garment. He could not be seen without

  238. wearing that garment. He was attached to that

  239. garment. But when Jesus came by, even though

  240. he was blind, he could see his miracle. and he

  241. said to himself I'm not going to need this garment

  242. anymore and so the Bible says he threw it off

  243. and I've come to tell somebody right now when

  244. Jesus walks your way and you want your miracle

  245. you've got to throw off your old you gotta put

  246. away your old self put away you need to throw

  247. off that garment that garment of depression that

  248. garment of fear of hopelessness of addiction

  249. The shame. Hallelujah, Jesus. Throw it off. Because

  250. you're not going to need it anymore. I'm going

  251. to invite you to close your eyes right now. Because

  252. the Holy Spirit. It's passing by. So I want you

  253. to close your eyes. With your eyes closed. Yes,

  254. with your eyes closed. Now you know what it's

  255. like to be Bartimaeus. This is how Bartimaeus

  256. felt. He couldn't see anything. He couldn't look

  257. at what other people were doing. He didn't get

  258. distracted. But he saw his miracle. So right

  259. now with your eyes closed. You're going to be

  260. like Bartimaeus. Because now you're going to

  261. see. Not with your eyes. But with your faith.

  262. So I want you to see. See your body healed. See

  263. your family healed. See yourself stronger. See

  264. yourself better. See your deliverance. Your deliverance.

  265. Being delivered. Set free. Set free from sin.

  266. Set free from that addiction. Set free from that

  267. depression. Come on. See it in your faith right

  268. now. Hallelujah.
