  1. The book of Psalms chapter 68. And verse number

    Psalms 68 chapter mention

  2. five. The word of the Lord says, a father to

  3. the fatherless. A defender of widows is God in

  4. his holy habitation. God sets the solitary in

  5. families. He brings out those who are bound into

  6. prosperity. But the rebellious dwell in a dry

  7. land. Somebody say amen. I'm going to preach

  8. today a father to the fatherless. A father to

  9. the fatherless. Why don't we pray together? Father,

  10. we love you today. We thank you for your presence.

  11. We thank you, God, for your glory that fills

  12. this place. Without a doubt, you are here. We

  13. need, God, a word because it's the word of God

  14. that will change and transform our lives. There

  15. is power in your word today. So anoint my lips

  16. and the hearing and the understanding of all.

  17. I pray for revelation. I pray for knowledge and

  18. wisdom in this place today. But most of all,

  19. God, I pray for transformation. Father, we ask

  20. this right now in the name of Jesus. God, we

  21. pray this right now. Amen. Everyone say amen.

  22. Amen. You can be seated. This past week, the

  23. world witnessed something truly historic. It

  24. was the peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.

  25. Mediated by President Trump and the U .S. diplomats.

  26. Amen. And for the first time in two years, 20

  27. remaining Israeli hostages were released. Thank

  28. the Lord for that. And many families that had

  29. lived with sorrow were now holding their loved

  30. ones again. There was one man who had been missing

  31. since October 7th. For many months his family

  32. didn't know if he was alive. But then last Monday

  33. after 738 days in captivity he finally came home.

  34. And at his reunion His father ran to him, embraced

  35. him, and he wept loudly with his family. So you

  36. might want to get your tissues ready. Play the

  37. video. Do you see their joy? And also their pain?

  38. I watched these videos and tears came to my eyes

  39. because I couldn't think how these families were

  40. feeling and what they were going through. I saw

  41. another video that showed a son falling into

  42. his father's arms watch this one with me Shema

  43. Yisrael! Doesn't that touch your heart? Doesn't

  44. it touch your heart? Did you hear the father

  45. crying out? He was crying out an ancient Hebrew

  46. prayer. The Shema, he lifted his hands. And he

  47. prayed. He said, hear O Israel. The Lord our

  48. God is one. Hallelujah. Somebody give God some

  49. praise. He said, hear O Israel. Our God is one

  50. God. And then he hugged his son. And he thanked

  51. God. for bringing his family home. I have come

  52. to preach to you today. This is what God wants

  53. to do with every one of his children. Hallelujah.

  54. He wants to bring them home. I saw this and it

  55. reminded me of the heart of God to restore his

  56. children. And that's what this text declares

  57. in Psalms. That God is a father to the fatherless.

  58. Somebody say amen. Say amen. I want to share

  59. with you a few truths today. Starting with who

  60. is the father. I want to declare to you That

  61. Jesus is the Father. I said Jesus is the Father.

  62. Hallelujah. Malachi 2 .10 asks. Have we not all

  63. one Father? Has not one God created us? Scripture

  64. reveals. that there is only one Father only one

  65. God we were singing this song a little while

  66. ago that there's not three and there's not two

  67. but there's only one somebody say amen And the

  68. Jews believed there was only one God. Hallelujah.

  69. Just one Lord. Amen. So we agree with them. But

  70. then Jesus came and declared something that changed

  71. everything. In John 10 30. He said I. and in

  72. John 14 9 he said he who has seen me has seen

  73. the Father Jesus came to declare that the God

  74. of the Old Testament was now manifest in the

  75. flesh. So if you see Jesus you are looking at

  76. the Father of creation. There is only one Father.

  77. I thank God for this revelation. This is the

  78. revelation. The high The greatest revelation.

  79. The greatest revelation. And I've got to celebrate

  80. that today. That I am a part of a one God church.

  81. That the mighty God is in Christ Jesus. Clap

  82. your hands and give God some praise today. Oh

  83. hallelujah. He is not the second person of the

  84. Trinity. He is the first. and the Bible says

  85. I get excited hallelujah for in him dwells all

  86. the fullness of the Godhead bodily Jesus is not

  87. partially God he's not a little bit of God he's

  88. all of God and I thank God today that we can

  89. establish this truth and many of us know this

  90. already but we have to preach this amen somebody

  91. there's only one gospel I said there's only one

  92. gospel amen And that gospel is that there is

  93. one God. And his name is Jesus. Isaiah called

  94. him the everlasting father. And also the prince

  95. of peace. Only God. Only Jesus. Can be both the

  96. father. And the son. The Holy Ghost. All in one.

  97. He's the everlasting Father. And that everlasting

  98. Father is here today. When you come to Jesus.

  99. Whether it's at the beginning or as you serve

  100. him in your life you are coming home to the Father.

  101. God is not far away somewhere in heaven. He's

  102. not beyond the stars but he's here right now.

  103. My God. How many of you feel him in this place?

  104. I said he's here right now. In fact, why don't

  105. we worship him because he's here right now? Why

  106. don't we lift our voices because he's here right

  107. now? Oh, come on, I said he's here right now.

  108. He's still in this place. I'm talking about the

  109. king of glory. The everlasting father. Is he

  110. your king? Is he your Lord? Is he your Savior?

  111. Then give him glory today. Come on, let's take

  112. a few moments to give him glory. He ran to his

  113. son. And he embraced him. And he welcomed him

  114. home. That's the heart of God. Hallelujah. That's

  115. where God wants to find you. All he is waiting

  116. for is for someone to repent. Because God will

  117. receive you. But you have to be willing to repent

  118. of your sins. And let go of the world. Let go

  119. of your ways. And let God embrace you. And let

  120. him restore you. You can come home. Can I tell

  121. you something? Anybody can come home. Somebody

  122. say anybody. Anybody can come home. Those doors

  123. are open to anybody. Amen somebody. But here's

  124. the thing. willing to repent and say God forgive

  125. me I'm sorry God I messed up Lord I haven't been

  126. living right I'm not thinking right The second

  127. truth is that God places the solitary in families.

  128. The word solitary means more than lonely. It

  129. means alone ones. To be cut off. Isolated and

  130. distant. To be broken. Solitary. Is not just

  131. describing. An emotion or a feeling. Because

  132. sometimes we just feel lonely. We feel like we're

  133. by ourselves. That's not what solitary means.

  134. That's a part of it. Hallelujah. But solitary

  135. goes deeper than that. It speaks to. The condition

  136. or the state of your soul. And this is what sin

  137. can do to us. Amen. It separates us from God.

  138. Amen. It separates us from the Holy One. And

  139. it makes us spiritual. And this is how God sees

  140. people. People who have not come to him all the

  141. way. As alone. Afraid. And they're by themselves.

  142. And they have. no way to help themselves. They're

  143. lost. They're just walking or wandering around.

  144. And this is why Jesus when he saw the city of

  145. Jerusalem the Bible says that he wept over the

  146. city because he saw them as sheep without a shepherd.

  147. they were alone by themselves but the heart of

  148. God is to rescue or to restore those people and

  149. to bring them back to his family let me tell

  150. you something today when you are born again and

  151. of the Spirit when you're baptized in Jesus'

  152. name and filled with the Holy Ghost you are not

  153. only forgiven of your sins but you are adopted

  154. into the family of God you are no longer a stranger

  155. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage

  156. again to fear. But you received the spirit of

  157. adoption by whom we cry out. Abba Father. Hallelujah.

  158. Let me tell you today that the church is not

  159. a building. The church is a family. And we have

  160. one Father. And our one Father deserves all the

  161. glory. But I am now a part of the family of God.

  162. Now I've got a place to belong. A place to heal.

  163. To grow. To love one another. I am a part of

  164. the household of God. Thank you Jesus. This is

  165. what God wants. God wants to restore every one

  166. of us into his family. The prodigal son, when

  167. he came home, made him a big feast, a big dinner.

  168. Amen. But he didn't come home just to have a

  169. party. When he came home he found restoration.

  170. When he was out there doing whatever he wanted

  171. he remembered his father's house. Oh my God.

  172. And it's the father's love. That will restore

  173. people. Into his family. God wants people to

  174. fall in love with him. He wants you to surrender

  175. to him. So that he can restore you totally and

  176. completely. When the son came home. He didn't

  177. make him a slave. No, he said you're a son. You

  178. are a part of this family. And now that I see

  179. that you have changed your ways, your attitude,

  180. your spirit, now that I see you want to be a

  181. part of this, I'm going to restore you. I'm going

  182. to put a robe on you. I'm going to place you

  183. back where you were. Hallelujah. Because you're

  184. my son. I want to tell somebody today. You're

  185. not just anybody. You're not just anybody. Hear

  186. me today. You're not just a woman. You're not

  187. just a man. You are a child of the living God.

  188. I wish somebody would hear me today. I said you're

  189. a child of the living God. I'm not just anybody.

  190. God is my father. And I belong in the household

  191. of God. Why don't you give God some glory today?

  192. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You are a daughter of

  193. God. You are a son of God. Thank you, Jesus.

  194. I don't want to just be a slave I want to be

  195. a son I want to be a son Jesus came to place

  196. the solitary In families. If you're not baptized

  197. in Jesus' name. You need to give your life to

  198. Jesus. Amen. Do I got a witness out there? You

  199. need to go down in the waters. And give your

  200. life to the Lord. So that you can be a part of

  201. his. eternal family how many of you are glad

  202. today that your names have been written in the

  203. book of life come on I said how many of you are

  204. thankful today that your names have been written

  205. in the book of life we who did not have a name

  206. brother I didn't have a name You didn't have

  207. a name. We were a people without a name. Can

  208. I tell you? With no identity. Come on now. With

  209. no purpose. With no future. No, no, no, no destiny.

  210. That's right. We had nothing to offer him. but

  211. when you come into the family of God he gives

  212. you a purpose for living now you have an identity

  213. you can look in the mirror and say I know who

  214. I am I'm a child of God hey you don't have to

  215. like me that's alright because God loves you

  216. The world can reject me. That's alright. Because

  217. God accepts me. Oh, I have my identity in Christ.

  218. He tells you who you are. Gives you a name. You

  219. know what that name is? How many of you know

  220. that name today? How many of you know that name?

  221. Can you shout it? Come on, can you shout it?

  222. Oh, come on, church. I thought it was in an apostolic

  223. Holy Ghost field church. Can you shout it? I'm

  224. glad I know that name today because there is

  225. no other name under heaven given among men whereby

  226. we must be saved. I know the name of the father

  227. his name is Jesus and his name is now on my life

  228. and when you're in his family his name is on

  229. your life number three is that God sets The captives

  230. free. The verse says. He brings out those who

  231. are bound into prosperity. The father not only

  232. loves. He liberates. When he adopts you as his

  233. own. He breaks every chain in your life. In Christ

  234. you're no longer a slave to sin. A slave to fear.

  235. But you're now free. Now you have been set free.

  236. And those chains no longer hold you down. The

  237. prodigal, when he left his home, he thought he

  238. was going to find freedom out there. But all

  239. he found was bondage. He thought he was going

  240. to find freedom by leaving home. That's how sometimes

  241. we feel. Sometimes there's children that want

  242. to leave their parents' house because they don't

  243. like the rules. Hello somebody. Not understanding

  244. that those rules are meant to protect you. Not

  245. to enslave you but to liberate you. People get

  246. convinced that true freedom is found outside.

  247. But all he found was pain and loss. That's all

  248. he found. Didn't find anything. But when he came

  249. home he found true freedom. In the world he was

  250. bound. But in the father's house he was free.

  251. True freedom is not found in rebellion. It's

  252. found in relationship. And if you will submit

  253. to the relationship to the authority of the Father

  254. if you submit to the relationship if you get

  255. under the roof the covering of God's You're going

  256. to find greater freedom for your life. More freedom

  257. than you can possibly imagine. Hallelujah. Somebody

  258. give God some praise today. When God sets you

  259. free, you are free indeed. I said, you are free

  260. indeed. The keyboardist can get ready. Hallelujah.

  261. God, when he sets you free, he doesn't leave

  262. you free here but bound over here. God wants

  263. you to be totally free. But you got to come totally

  264. in. Hallelujah, I feel the presence of God here.

  265. I feel the presence of God. Oh, hallelujah. He

  266. not only opens the prison doors, but the psalmist

  267. said, he brings those out who are bound. But

  268. he brings them into prosperity. This is what

  269. God wants to do. Set you free but not free to

  270. go back. Go back to doing it all over again.

  271. That's what a lot of people do. God delivers

  272. them sets them free heals them restores them

  273. and after they get their blessing their miracle

  274. their healing their financial blessing then they

  275. go back to doing things the way they want and

  276. they forget the source of their blessing I end

  277. up losing it all over again. God didn't deliver

  278. us so that we can go back to what he delivered

  279. us from. He wants to lead us into greater prosperity.

  280. Hallelujah God. He wants to lead us to green

  281. pastures. Besides still waters. He wants to give

  282. you beauty for ashes. Joy for mourning. Hallelujah.

  283. Praise for heaviness. Yes. God wants to not just

  284. restore. He doesn't just want to set you free.

  285. But he wants to lead you into true prosperity.

  286. Some people think prosperity just means finances.

  287. If that's all you're thinking of, that's the

  288. least of it. I'm talking about spiritual prosperity.

  289. God prospering your family. Prospering your marriage.

  290. Prospering everything that you touch. prospering

  291. your gift and your service to God and your gift

  292. prospering your relationships everything God

  293. wants to prosper I feel I feel the Holy Ghost

  294. moving in this place. Hallelujah, God. When the

  295. Father calls you his child, there's no chain

  296. that can hold you. There's no devil that can

  297. stop you. Remember the man with the legion? All

  298. those devils in him. He ran, fell at the feet

  299. of Jesus and worshipped him. Because when the

  300. child recognizes his father, not even all the

  301. legions of hell can stop you from getting to

  302. an altar. From lifting up your hands. From worshiping.

  303. Not even the devil himself. Can stop. And hold

  304. you back. From the father's arms. Would you close

  305. your eyes. I feel the holy ghost. Would you just

  306. begin to pray with me right now. Right there

  307. where you're at. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah

  308. God. God is working right now. Hallelujah. Oh,

  309. yes, he is. I'm going to invite the musicians

  310. just to play right there. Hallelujah. God's calling

  311. someone right now. God's calling somebody today.

  312. He's calling one of his children right now. Hallelujah.

  313. One of his children that he loves. Don't say,

  314. Pastor, I'm already saved. I'm home already.

  315. Are you? Because until you're back where God

  316. wants you to be, my friend, there are some things

  317. you've got to take care of. Matters of your heart.

  318. Matters of obedience. Of submission. Of order.

  319. Of repentance. Of worship. Of surrender. Oh,

  320. there's some things you got to let go of. There's

  321. some things you got to give to God. There's some

  322. steps you've got to take. But I tell you this.

  323. God is not here to condemn you. He's here to

  324. receive you. Oh, He's here.
