The Altar in the Middle

And I'm going to invite everyone, if you can,

to stand. We're going to be reading the Word

of God today. And I know I have something special

to share that God has placed in my heart. And

I'm going to invite you, if you can, go with

me to the book of Genesis. We're actually starting

a new series today. And I know that God's going

to speak to us. And God has a word. How many

of you are ready for God to speak to your life

this afternoon? Amen. God has something special

for each and every one of us. And our new series

is called Back to the Future. Amen. Back to the

future. You say, why do we got to go back? Well,

we're not necessarily going back. But sometimes

God restores our tomorrow by calling us back

to foundational moments in our faith. And there

are some things that we ought to not forget.

Some places in the spirit, some places in God

that we have to. Amen. Go back to sometimes.

So in the book of Genesis, we find a back to

the future kind of moment. Chapter 13 and verse

3, I'll be reading there. It says, and he went

on his journey from the south as far as Bethel

to the place where his tent had been at the beginning

between Bethel and Ai. To the place of the altar.

Someone say the altar. Which he had made there

at first. And Abram called on the name of the

Lord. Lot also who went with Abram had flocks

and herds and tents. Now the land was not able

to support them that they might dwell together.

For their possessions were so great. They could

not dwell together. But going back to verse 3,

it says that Abram went to the place of the tent

where he was at the beginning, between Bethel

and Ai. So with God's help, I'm going to preach

for a few moments today about the altar in the

middle. The altar in the middle. Amen. You may

be seated in God's presence. Thank you for...

Your sensitivity to the Spirit of God today.

I want to begin by presenting an idea that is

a bit counterintuitive. When you talk about going

back to move forward, that's a counterintuitive

idea. But progress does not always look like

advancement. Sometimes it looks like tension.

Consider the bow and the arrow. An arrow doesn't

move forward until it's first pulled back. And

the greater the pull, the further the arrow will

go. So this gives us a picture in our mind of

how sometimes we must go back. in tension or

in pressure in order to be released forward.

And something happens very similar in the spirit,

in the realm of faith. What feels like resistance

is often preparation. Amen, somebody. What feels

like a setback is actually a set up. These are...

pullback moments. These are moments where God

calls us back to a place that holds a secret

or holds an answer to our future. I know that

we are in a fast -paced world and everybody wants

what's next. In fact, the moment that you purchase

a new iPhone or a cell phone, Within a couple,

how many of you have ever bought a new cell phone

thinking, man, I got the latest and the greatest.

And then a month later, they announce a better

one's coming out. You want to go back to Apple

and get a refund, right? They say, sorry, sir,

you're in a contract now. So they got to wait.

And because we live in that fast -paced world,

and the idea of going back, the idea of any form

of regression, any form of pulling back or retreating

or even delay doesn't sit well with this constant

motion that we have to move forward. And we must

move forward in life. This is not an advocation

for us to settle or to stay in reverse, but...

But there are times such as the one in Abram's

life that is illustrated to us that he was at

a pullback moment. He was on the road to possessing

the promised land and he came back to an altar

that he had once built between or in the middle

of Bethel and Ai. Something about Abraham is

that he was an altar builder. He was the altar

builder. And there were several, in fact, a total

of four altars that Abram built throughout his

lifetime. And each of those altars are significant,

but the one that we're looking at today is probably

more foundational to establishing his spiritual

DNA than all of the others. It's the only altar

that he ever revisited. The altars at Shechem

and Hebron, and even the legendary altar at Moriah,

where he was to offer his son as a sacrifice.

These were all what I would call one -hit wonders.

These were all altars that were significant,

but you never read in Scripture of Abraham ever

going back to them. They served a purpose, and

once that purpose was accomplished, he moved

forward. and never went back to those altars.

But there's something about this altar in the

middle of Bethel and Ai that drew him back. It

was a place that you encounter not just once

and leave behind and forever seal it somewhere

in a vault, never to be revisited again. This

was the place that you returned to. It was a

place that forms you. It was a place. that shapes

who you are and aligns you and brings you back

to your spiritual center. This was a rhythm in

this man's life and a place that would ultimately

determine his future. And I want to tell you

today, church, friend, and guest, that we all

need a place like that. Somebody say amen today.

We all need an old altar. Do you hear me? An

old altar that never loses its power. Never loses

its purpose or its priority in our life. We need

a place to go back to. We need a place. to rediscover

what it is that God is doing in our life. We

need a place where we can get alone with God

on a consistent basis. We need a place that we

don't just seal away in a spiritual memory vault

somewhere and bury under our house, never to

be revisited again. But we need places in our

spiritual journey that every once in a while,

every now and then, at a certain juncture in

our faith, we can go back to. revisit whatever

foundational truth or element of God that we

experience so that we never forget who we are

and what God has called us to do somebody give

God a hand praise today amen we need a place

like that A place that we never grow beyond.

A place that no matter what season you're in

in your life, no matter what stage or what phase

you're in, no matter where life takes you, you

know, financially, relationally, in your family,

we need a place like that. And Abraham, Abraham

found that place. It was an altar between two

very different places, two different extremes,

Bethel and Ai. Two extremes. Someone say two

extremes. Two very different places. Bethel means,

it has a meaning, it means the house of God.

And Ai means heap of ruins. So clearly, he set

up this altar between polar opposites. One represents

the extreme of joy. and fulfillment of God. And

the other, Ai, represents probably the furthest

place from God. A heap of ruins. A heap of trouble

and problems. And this is where Abram set up

this altar. One, on one extreme we see the promise

of God and on the other we see pain. And it was

in the middle of that place, between these two

extremes, between promise Between his future

and his past. Between his promised land. Between

the house of God and between a heap of ruin.

Between two extremes. Between where he once was

and where he is going. He builds an altar right

there in the midst of those two places. And he

establishes a spiritual rhythm for his life right

there in the middle. And this is what I love

about this altar. Is that Abraham doesn't wait

to build an altar until he gets to Bethel. He

doesn't wait to erect this altar until he gets

to his ultimate fulfillment in life and in his

calling. And I want to tell somebody today that

you cannot wait until you have it all together.

You can't wait until things get better before

you build an altar. If that is your mindset,

that I'm going to wait. Well, pastor, I'm waiting

until I get that one job. When I get that job,

I'm going to be the best Christian. No, you can't

wait until they really put me. I get on the platform

then I'm really gonna sing hello somebody why

don't you sing right where you are why don't

you build an altar right where I feel like I

gotta tell somebody you can't wait till things

get better you can't wait for tomorrow God said

I'm calling you to build an altar of prayer sanctification

consecration and service unto the Lord hallelujah

And you know, it never ends. It never ends. You

get on top of that one thing, and then here comes

another. And so you just got to make up in your

mind that I'm just going to serve God right here

in the middle. I'm not who I used to be, thank

the Lord, but I'm not yet who I'm called to be.

But I'm not going to wait until I've perfected

my life to build an altar and to serve God with

everything that I have. Don't wait until you're

perfect to try to live a holy life. You say,

well, I can't do it. No, sir, do your best. Do

what you can do and consecrate your life before

you decide, you know, just to give up. Right

there where you are. In the middle. Someone say

in the middle. If you're going to possess the

promises that God has for your life, you got

to learn how to consecrate. And build an altar

in the middle of your transitions. Hallelujah.

I feel like I'm talking to somebody already in

this place. In the middle of where God is taking

you. In the middle of the next step. In the next

level. I've got to make up in my mind that I've

got an altar in my life. I don't have everything

quite figured out. I'm still a work in progress.

How many of you are a work in progress? Oh, I'm

going to ask you again. How many of you are a

work in progress? I'm a work in progress. I don't

know about you. You know, we got a lot of Christians

out there acting like they're already, you know,

they already have arrived. I have not arrived

yet. I am still under construction. I got scaffolding

around my life. I got things that are still being

worked on. I'm not perfect. Don't you dare put

me up on a pedestal and think that pastor's got

it all together and he got no problems and nothing

happens to him. I'm just like you. And then I

got to fight my own devils just like you got

to fight. I got to deal with my flesh just like

you got to deal with yours. But I made up in

my mind that until I get there and until I arrive,

I'm going to serve God with everything that I've

got. I'm going to build my altar. I'm going to

not allow the circumstances of my life dictate

my level of consecration. My level of commitment

to God. And as we are entering into a new season,

a new era, a new year as a church, as the body

of Christ, we've got to take inventory. How is

my altar? What is the condition of the altar

in my life? Because it's the altar in the middle.

Not the altar all the way at Bethel. But it's

the altar in the middle that shapes. Number one,

let me give you this first point. It shapes who

you become. God wants you to become something.

He wants you to become someone. Amen. Abram's

altar seems out of place at first. You know,

and it doesn't quite look right because here

he is building. It would make more sense, Abraham,

to build an altar and wait until you get to Bethel.

It would make more sense to wait for you to get

to the house of God. And that's usually what

we want to do. We want to wait until we get to

the top of the mountain. We want to wait until

we get to the other side. We want to wait until

we arrive. We want to wait until everything has

been set in order. And then build our altar.

And say, I'm really going to serve God once I

get to the top. I'm really going to give it my

all. I'm really going to worship when I get there.

And just stay there. And I don't know about you,

but I love Bethel moments. Amen. How many of

you love Bethel moments? I love being in the

house of God. I love going to, I don't know,

we've got a generation today, you know, virtual

church. That doesn't do it for me. I need to

be in the house of God. Come on now, somebody.

I need to be in the house of God. I need to be

among the saints. I need to be in the presence

of the Lord where there's fullness of joy. I

need to be here. And there's nothing like the

presence of God. I love it here. But you know

what? I don't live here. I got to go back home.

Amen. And in a little while, I'm going to lock

those doors. And if you don't want to leave,

we're going to have to flick on the lights and

tell you it's time to go. God bless those brothers

that just flicked the lights on. Time to go.

Hallelujah. Amen. We don't live here. It would

be nice. Sometimes we go to a spiritual retreat.

We go to a camp. Man, it feels so good right

here. I don't want to leave. But the reality

is you got to go home. You got to go back to

work, right. Back to those unbelieving and difficult

people at work and a toxic work environment.

And we got to go back to houses that still need

repairs, amen, and bills that need to be paid.

But it would be nice. I remember the three disciples

that Jesus took with him on Mount Transfiguration.

Oh, they were so caught up in the glory and in

the wonder of God. They said, Jesus, why don't

we build a temple right here? Bend for themselves.

This is where it's at, man, right here. And Jesus

said, no, this is not. There's more that I got

to do. And lots of times that's what we want

to do. We want to set up the temple right there

in Bethel and say, man, I don't want to go anywhere

else. But that's not reality. It's not reality.

You got to learn how to pray in the middle. Hallelujah.

You got to learn how to worship in the middle.

You got to learn how to praise God in the middle.

How to serve in the middle. Hallelujah. And then

you got the other extreme. Then you got the people

who only know how to serve God when they're in

AI. In a heap of ruin. Only pray when they're

in a heap of ruin. Only worship and only ask

for prayer when they only visit an altar when

they have a need. You know anybody like that?

Hallelujah. Don't look around, praise God. Amen.

For many people, the altar is only a place you

come to when you're in trouble. When you're sick.

When you're broke. That's when people, certain

people go to church, right. I need something.

And then the moment they get their miracle. only

have an altar in ai when time goes they get laid

off work man they're the most faithful the church

you know as soon as they get that promotion what

happened where'd they go and and and that's not

a good extreme either these extremes we can't

stay there as much as we'd like to stay in bethel

and just set up camp and build a little community

up there in the mountains and live in a monastery

and say hey i don't want i I don't have time

to deal with the world. This is too good. That's

not reality. And as much as, you know, we can

pray and cry out to God from the bottom of the

pit in AI, and that's not reality because you're

going to have good times, you're going to have

bad times. There's going to be ups, there's going

to be downs. So you need to learn how to serve

the Lord in the middle. Come on, somebody. I'm

trying to help you today. Abraham shows us the

power of building an altar between those. or

Christian, and one day you're up and one day

you're down. What, now you see me, now you don't.

The devil is a liar. In 2026, I'm going to serve

God in the middle. I'm going to pray. Is there

somebody right now who can stand up on your feet

for about 30 seconds and say, I'm going to give

God a... to receive all the glory and all of

the honor. Hallelujah, hallelujah. This is what

God is looking for. This is the type of people

that he wants to build in this hour. City Light

Church, hear me loud and clear. If we're going

to have revival, if we're going to reach the

lost, if we're going to move forward and expand

in the kingdom of God, we've got to learn how

to serve in the middle. It's not going to be

flashy. It's not going to be trendy. It's not

going to be in vogue in this style. No, when

you're in the middle, it's not attractive. But

let me tell you, that's where God wants to meet

us. And that's where the glory of God will be

waiting for us in the middle. Somebody shout,

in the middle. That's where God is. He's in the

middle. He's in the middle. And the greatest

works of God are in the middle. Look at the cross.

It was suspended between heaven and earth in

the middle. This is where God wants to show us

his glory and his power. It's in the middle.

And if that's all you hear today, then you have

heard enough. But there's something else I want

to show you about the altar in the middle is

that number two, it clarifies who can go with

you. Oh, you should have shouted when you had

the chance. I gave you an opportunity, but now

I'm going to make you uncomfortable. Because

when Abraham went back to this altar, God began

to clarify some things in his life. Started opening

up his eyes to some growing and to some problems

that were brewing beneath the surface of his

life that he had not been paying attention to.

Such as his nephew Lot. This young man whom Abram

had taken under his wing and allowed him. to

take this journey with him. And Lot was, he was

somebody who benefited from the blessing that

was on Abraham. You never hear about Lot building

an altar, but you sure hear about him following

in the footsteps or in the shadow, I should say,

of Abraham. And he was connected to Abraham.

I bet you he was because that was his paycheck

right there. That's how he was going to make

it. He knew that if I stay close to him, you

know, everything is going to be all right. And

he wasn't dumb and he did that. But here's the

thing is that he was connected to him but he

wasn't committed to him. Somebody tell me to

go ahead and preach. Hallelujah. You got to look

for those people in your life that are just connected

to you but they're not committed to you. They're

connected to your life. They're connected to

your ministry. They're not committed to your

ministry. They're not willing to go. And the

reason why we know that they were not committed

to Abraham is that while Abraham was being blessed

with herds and tents and herdsmen and cattle,

so was Lot. And they started to brew tension

among them, and they couldn't get along. And

the right thing for Lot to do would say, maybe

I should subtract some things from my life. so

that I can stay connected to this man of God.

But instead he allowed himself to build up greater

wealth and greater wealth and greater things

to the point that maybe, and this is just my

speculation, that he thought, well, maybe he

needs me more than I need him. And somewhere

in the back of his head he got this crazy. weird

idea that he was the answer. He was the key to

all this. But he would just be able to make it

out on his own. But something began to happen.

And Abraham was being dealt with by God. And

it was time for these two to separate. And it

was at this altar, from this altar, God began

to deal and show him it's time to separate. And

the tension is beginning to brew. And it's making

Abraham uncomfortable as he is dealing with this.

Maybe this ungrateful person in his life. This

person who has taken advantage of him. This person

who is a taker and not a giver. This person who

has been leeching off of him. And bleeding him

dry. And not putting any skin in the game. And

he said, I've got to remove. I'm coming to tell

somebody today. You've got some people around

you in your life. I don't know where they are.

But you've got some associations and some connections.

that you've been walking with, you need to ask

God. Hear me in the Holy Ghost. You need to ask

God to give you greater discernment. God, I am

at a point. I don't know who I'm talking to right

now. You are at a place in your life, my friend.

You don't have time to mess around and play games.

You are not in high school anymore. You're not

in junior high. This ain't element. You have

got a time in your life. You cannot afford to

be messing around with the wrong jokers. Are

you hearing what I'm saying? You don't got time.

time to be connected, associated, locking arms

with people who don't share the same vision and

the same passion and the same commitment to the

things of God. God, I need you to show me who

are the lots in my life so I can begin a process

of separation. I need to separate myself from

this lot. And you say, well, how important is

it? You've got to separate. Someone say separation.

Let me tell you, your separation is part of your

preparation. Hallelujah. I got to say that again.

Your separation is part of your preparation.

Come out from among them and be. If God's going

to do something in your life this year, you got

to be willing to separate from some things, from

some people, from some strange and weird ideas.

You got to separate from these things so that

God can take you on forward into your future.

Hallelujah. Can I preach just for a little bit

more on this point? Not everybody who is walking

with you right now is assigned to your destiny.

You may have certain things in common. You may

like certain things the same. That doesn't mean

that they're assigned to your destiny. If they're

not willing to grow, my God, if they're not willing

to grow up, if they're not willing to mature.

If they're not willing to, oh, my God, I feel

something right now. If they're not willing to

submit, if they're not willing to give, if they're

not willing, if they, I've said it before, if

they can't grow with you, they can't go with

you. If they're not going to, hallelujah, if

they're not going to grow up, put their big boy

pants on and say, let's serve the Lord with everything

that we have. got the same friends you've always

had and nothing has ever changed, something is

wrong. Because as you grow, there ought to be

some separation that takes place. I'm not telling

you to block them and do all that. I'm not saying,

unless you have to, praise God. But I'm not saying

that you just become some hateful person. Pat,

you said we're supposed to be loving. Yeah, you're

supposed to love them. But not to your own demise.

Huh? Not to your own demise. So God is working

some things in us. Can I go a little deeper into

that right there? Because I wonder, why didn't

Lot separate from him sooner? Or why didn't Abraham

separate from Lot sooner? Why did he let this

guy hang around? You know, Abraham was a man

of discernment and knowledge and wisdom. And

I'm sure he knew what was going on. I'm sure

he knew that this guy is just, you know, he's

just living off the gravy train here. You know,

he's getting while the getting is good. Why did

he let him hang around? I think I found the answer.

I think the Lord showed me what it was as to

why he let him hang around. The answer is because

he loved him. And he loved him, but it was a

different type of love. What he loved was the

idea. Not just that he loved him. He loved the

idea of him. Oh, what is that? We're going to

get something right now. Just follow me. Because

Abraham was waiting on a promised son. He was

waiting on an heir to inherit the promised land,

to inherit all the blessings that was coming

his way. And because he had not produced an heir

yet, there is this possibility that he looked

at his nephew and said, well, maybe he's it.

And so he loved him that way. And we see other

times in their life where he interceded for Lot.

And he loved him like a son. And Lot filled a

void in Abraham's life. He filled a void in his

heart because Abraham wanted a son. And I think

that he had high hopes. He was banking on maybe

he might be the one that's going to take over.

These blessings. The one that's going to take

this to the next level. He had high hope. But

here's the crucial lesson for us today. Is that

sometimes what holds us back, it's not sin. It's

settling for less than what God intended. I'm

not just preaching about sin. If the shoe fits,

praise God. But I'm talking about settling for

less. And sometimes it's not sin. It's that we

have fallen in love. With an idea. We have fallen

in love with something that we hope is going

to work. And we hope is the answer. And we hope

this is it. But it's not God ordained. It isn't

with God. So it's holding on to people and things

that we think are the key to our future. We think

this is the best it's ever going to get. Let

me tell you something today. God has something

better for you. I want to tell you something.

You're worth more than that. You're worth more.

This is all they're going to pay me. No, no,

no. You're worth more than that. Hello, somebody.

He's the only one showing interest. Are you settling?

Oh, it got quiet. She's the only one that likes

me. But is she the one? I wonder how many times

we have, whether it's in relationship, whether

it's in life, work, ministry, we're settling

for less than what God had ordained for our lives.

But because we're so, we want what we want. And

what we want is not for the God to give us his

plan. We want God to bless our plans. But God

is telling Abraham and he's telling all of you

here, every one of us here today. I've got something

greater in store for you. But you've got to be

willing to separate. You've got to be willing

to say, but if I let that person go, who else

is going to love me? Hello, somebody. You don't

think God's got somebody else. Is that, come

on now, somebody say amen. Nobody else is going

to hire me. You don't think God owns the cattle

on a thousand hills. What have you been holding

on to that God said, you've been holding on to

the bronze and I've got gold. You've been holding

on to the silver and I got gold. The moment that

you let that thing go, the moment that you believe,

I will show you what I've really been wanting

to do in your life. Somebody give God some hand.

Hand praise today. Hallelujah. These are things

that God's been dealing with me about. Lots that

I have to separate myself from. And things that

are just holding me back. There's just one more

thing that this altar that Abraham had in the

middle. Someone say, it's in the middle. It's

in the middle. It's in the middle. One more thing

it shows me is that altar in the middle, what

it does is it positions you for dominion. Dominion.

What is dominion? Dominion is authority over

something or territory. Once the altar was restored,

separation was complete. God spoke to Abraham

again. Watch what he says in verse 14. He says,

lift your eyes now. Someone say, lift your eyes.

And look from the place where you are. Northward,

southward, eastward, westward. In other words,

look. gets ready to come up. He says, look in

every direction for the land which you see I

give to you and to your descendants forever.

Now, why couldn't God just have told him this

at the beginning? Because he wasn't ready for

it yet. Sometimes we want God to show us a preview.

of our destiny, our future. We want God to lead

us into his promises without having gone through

the process. But when you submit to the process,

I'm going to say it's a process, you prepare

yourself for the promise. Now he has gone through

a process of an altar in the middle, of separation

from the lots in his life. And at that moment,

the Lord says, Lift your eyes. From the place

where you are. And look out as far as the eye

can see. That this land belongs to you and to

your family. Up until now, he has only focused

on what's right around him. Up until now, Abraham

was looking down. managing tension, managing

people. vision. I've come to tell somebody today,

church, God wants to restore your vision to see

his promises like you have never seen them before.

God wants to restore your spiritual eyes to see

as far as they can see that this land is not

just any land. This promise is not just any promise.

If God said it's yours, then it's yours. in the

sight of God. Somebody give the Lord some praise

today. Recently, recently, I'm done now. Recently,

the Holy Ghost woke me up the other day. The

Holy Ghost alerted me. And he said, Jacob, he

said, he didn't call me Pastor Jacob. Sometimes

this is like Jay. Jacob, he said, lift your eyes.

I said, Lord, what do you mean? I'm looking.

No, no, no, no, no. Lift your eyes. Lift your

eyes. And what I felt God say to my spirit is

lift your eyes. Like he told his disciples, lift

up your eyes to the fields which are already

white for harvest. Get your eyes off. of where

you stand. Anybody can look at where they're

standing. You don't need to be a prophet to tell

me where you are. Hallelujah. We got all kinds

of people prophesying today is Sunday. No duh.

You don't need a prophet to tell you what color

tie you have on and what day it is. You don't

need me to tell you where you are. You know exactly

where you are and it's time to stop looking at

where you are. This is just where I am. It is

what it is. It's time for you to lift up your

eyes. Hallelujah. In fact, I want somebody, if

you could begin to stand up with me right now.

I feel the Holy Ghost. Yes. Yes. God is saying,

get your eyes off of people. Get your eyes off

of your problems. Get your eyes off of your past.

Get your eyes off of where you are. And I want

you, Abraham. I want you, man and woman of God.

I want you, child of the living God who owns

the cattle on a thousand hills. I want you to

lift up your eyes and see that I called you not

just to be a hurt. I call you not just to be

another shepherd in the field, not just to go

along with everybody else and do... Lift your

eyes. Lift your eyes and look at Mountain View.

Look to your eyes and look at Sunnyvale and Santa

Clara. Lift up your eyes. And look around you

and see new possibilities. New fields that are

white with harvest. I speak this in the name

of Jesus. And when people say stuff like that,

oh, pastor, there's not nothing I've seen. I've

seen it all. Have you really seen it all? I've

been listening. I've been longer than I can count.

I slept under the pews. That's how long I've

been. I've seen them all. I've seen evangelists

come and go. I've seen miracles. I say, oh, that's

wonderful. But I've got a question for you. When's

the last time you've lifted your eyes? Because

I don't serve a God that is limited by what he

did yesterday. I serve a God of greater things.

Greater things shall you do, he said, in my name.

You're going to cast out devils in my name. When's

the last time you saw a devil get cast out? Oh,

come on. I think there are some new devils that

need to get cast out. You're going to tread upon

them. You're going to lay hands on the sick.

I don't want to hear about the healing God. many

of you want to hear New Testament? I want to

see what God's going to do. Right there where

you are. I invite you to close your eyes for

a second. I feel something happening right now

in the Holy Ghost. This was a divine appointment

with God. I have preached. This service is over.

But there is another phase. There's another dimension

that God is calling somebody to. But you're not

going to get there by some, I can't drag you

across the finish line, brother. I can't drag

you to the altar in the middle. I can't pull

you there. I can't force you there. You got to

have in your own mind, in your own faith, you

got to be determined to get there. Oh, this is

part of growing up. Oh, this is part of. take

a whole lot of faith to worship and praise and

serve in Bethel and it even doesn't take a lot

to do it in the heap of ruin AI because when

you're on the bottom and you hit rock bottom

all you can do is look up I'm concerned about

those of you that are in the middle right now

oh that's where danger is lurking it's in the

middle oh the worst place to be on the battlefield

It's in the middle somewhere. You're likely to

get hit by friendly fire. Are you hearing me?

You're likely to get hit not only by the enemy,

but by friendly fire. You're in the middle somewhere.

Ooh. But that's right there is where you got

to build an altar and say, you know what? I've

got to connect with God. I've got promises. How

many of you God has made you a promise? How many

of you God has established something in your

faith? I'm ready for it. I'm ready. But right

now. under the sound of my voice. There are some

things that God is going to show you, but you've

got to be willing to lift your eyes. In the name

of Jesus, I speak over every person in this building

right now, over everyone that might be watching

on YouTube, on Facebook at some point. I prophesy

over you. I prophesy over every one of you right

now. And I speak. I speak life. I speak purpose.

I speak restoration. I speak salvation. I speak

healing in the name of Jesus. Oh, I speak revival.
