Brother Moses Vey. Hallelujah. I love you, Bill.
-
Hallelujah. Thank you very much. Thank you, Pastor.
-
What an honor it is to be here with all of you
-
folks here and wherever this place is. Only the
-
Lord can find this place, I tell you. And a few
-
grass farmers, but what a marvelous place. It's
-
just beautiful. The atmosphere is wonderful,
-
and it's great to be back here with you. I really
-
feel at home, really feel welcome, and it's been
-
so good to see the power of God moving in this
-
place and to hear what the Lord's saying. I enjoyed
-
the prayer time together. I especially appreciated
-
the freedom that your pastor gave to all of the
-
folks that were there in prayer just to express
-
themselves. Whatever the Lord's saying, the Bible
-
teaches us, he that hath an ear to hear, let
-
him hear. Eight times in the revelation of Jesus,
-
he said, he that hath an ear to hear, let him
-
hear. What the Spirit's saying. The voice of
-
God is continuous. Only our hearing is intermittent.
-
God's always speaking. Amen. He said, you call
-
on me and I'll answer you. What I was particularly
-
touched by this afternoon or this evening was
-
the quietness. You know, how many know you get
-
people on the phone and especially these... automated
-
phone calls that none of us like to get. And
-
they just start spilling off. You know right
-
away it's a tape. They're not wanting for you
-
to say anything. They just want to deliver themselves.
-
I think a lot of times we're that way when we
-
pray. We want to tell God how to do it, when
-
to do it, who to get, who not to get. And God
-
said, shh. I said, you call on me and I'll answer
-
you. And I will show you. I will show you. That's
-
God's promise. I will show you great and mighty
-
things you've never done. Amen? So this marvelous
-
body of people living on the edge of enlargement.
-
And that's the word the Lord's given me for you
-
tonight. But before, my good friend, Brother
-
Garlington used to say, before I preach, I'd
-
like to say something. And as I was praying specifically
-
for this meeting, and I do understand that we're
-
supposed to repeat these meetings. The message
-
is pretty well each time. We'll see what happens.
-
I can never promise to be exactly the same. But
-
I know God has people in every service that he
-
wants to reach. And he has a word for you tonight.
-
And he's brought you here for such a time as
-
this. But I want to give this prophetic word
-
to the church. This is something I felt for the
-
whole body as a preface to what I will be speaking
-
on. And it's in your Bible in Isaiah chapter
Isaiah 49 chapter mention
-
49. Now I'm going to read from the Amplified
-
because I like the Amplified when it agrees with
-
my doctrine. But this is something remarkable
-
here where God said, Sing for joy, O heavens,
-
and be... joyful, O earth. Isaiah 49, verse 13.
-
All right. Are we all there? Amen. Page 939,
-
if you have the right Bible. All right. Sing
-
for joy, O heavens, and be joyful, O earth, and
-
break forth into singing, O mountains. For the
-
Lord has comforted his people and will have compassion
-
upon his afflicted. But Zion says, The Lord has
-
forsaken me and my Lord has forgotten me. Here
-
is God giving a tremendous encouragement to his
-
church, to his people. And the people respond
-
and say, yes, but God, you've forgotten me. And
-
the Lord, is there anybody here tonight that
-
feels like maybe the Lord even forgot your address
-
or your phone number? No, God knows where you
-
are. He knows all about you. And here's what
-
God says. And the Lord answered, Can a woman
-
forget her nursing child, that she should not
-
have compassion on the son of her womb? Oh, yes,
-
they may forget. Yet I will not forget you. That's
-
a promise from God for somebody here tonight
-
that needs to hear this. God says, I am not forgetting
-
you. And the reason is, I have you indelibly
-
engraved on the palms of both of my hands. God
-
says, I have a picture of you, a photograph of
-
you. I have you tattooed on my hands. And every
-
time I whoop you, I look at the picture. It's
-
not what you are now, but it's what you're going
-
to be. And you're being conformed into his image.
-
We're all going to look like Jesus when he gets
-
through with us. Amen. You may think you're really,
-
you know, the cat's pajamas, but we're all going
-
to look the same. Amen. You say, no. Well, God's
-
shaping us and conforming us into the image of
-
his dear son. That's his purpose, right? Now
-
here's what God says. Listen to me carefully.
-
I have your finished picture. I want you to think
-
about it. Life Bible Church, is this what this
-
place is called? Life Bible Church, God has your
-
finished picture. Not what you are right now.
-
But if you can handle it. It's what he has in
-
mind for you. What he's already projected. He's
-
already designed. He is the architect. He is
-
the contractor. He's the builder. He's the author.
-
He's the finisher. I mean, God never starts a
-
project that he don't finish. And if God has
-
anything to do with you, he's got everything
-
to do with you. Now you're getting there. Now,
-
Zion says, God's forsaken me and God's forgotten
-
me. But God said, how can I forget you? I've
-
already got your picture engraved on both of
-
the palms of my hands. So whatever I'm doing
-
in you has already been settled. It's finished.
-
I wish you could see beyond today as God does
-
see. I wish you could see the fulfillment of
-
all that God has already predicted for you. Amen.
-
Eye hasn't seen it. Ear hasn't heard it. The
-
heart couldn't even comprehend it. The things
-
that God has already prepared for you that love
-
him. That's in the Bible. Amen? So God's getting
-
you ready for that which he has already ready
-
for you. So he's processing us. Listen to this
-
word. This isn't all. This is just my preface.
-
This is not. Don't start the clock yet. He said,
-
your walls are continually before me. God's all
-
the time thinking about your environment. your
-
walls, your structure. And then he says, your
-
children and your builders are making haste.
-
Your children and your builders are coming. They're
-
coming in droves. Your children and your builders
-
make haste. but your destroyers and those who
-
laid you waste will go forth from you. Thank
-
you, brother. I got a little bit of fire, and
-
if I get a little water, we may have some steam.
-
Now, here's what God's saying to the church here,
-
way out here in the boonies of Oregon. I have
-
already destined your destiny. I have you already
-
in my plan and purpose. And God said two things
-
are going to happen. I'm going to send you children.
-
The same word for builders in the Hebrew, same
-
word for children is the same word for builders.
-
It literally means those which are building blocks.
-
Your sons and daughters, children, are coming
-
to you. I'm going to send you builders. I'm going
-
to put builders in your midst. And then I'm going
-
to take away from you the destroyers. That's
-
a heavy promise, folks. God said, I'm going to
-
send you builders, but I'm going to keep destroyers
-
away from you. A good thing to remember and a
-
better thing to do. Is always work with the builders
-
and not the wrecking crew. Amen. For as sure
-
as you're living, the enemy would like to tear
-
down. But Jesus didn't come to tear down. He
-
came to build up. He said, I will build my church.
-
And the gates of hell shall not prevail against
-
it. Amen. So here is a church. Life Bible Church.
-
with a sense of destiny and uncontrollable boldness,
-
living in the Word of God, who have received
-
Jesus Christ as Lord. These live in the unrestrainable
-
power of the Holy Ghost, becoming an incredible,
-
irresistible force. I'm talking about the members
-
of this church that have been transferred into
-
another kingdom where you all operate as citizens
-
and ambassadors and militia of the glorious kingdom
-
of Jesus Christ. For the father has drawn us
-
to himself out of the control and dominion of
-
darkness and transferred us into the kingdom
-
of his beloved son. We who have been born anew,
-
we have an inheritance in Jesus Christ. We are
-
somebody. And we're going someplace. And God
-
is more interested in building big people than
-
he is building big churches. Amen. Are you hearing
-
me? God is far more interested in building you
-
as an individual into the family and purpose
-
of God. And when we understand that, it's going
-
to make all the difference. All right, let's
-
turn the page over a couple of pages to chapter
-
54. Amen. How many know that chapter 54 follows
-
53? That's really deep, isn't it? Now in chapter
-
53 of Isaiah, we have the whole description of
-
the marvelous, holy, and awesome sacrifice of
-
Jesus Christ on the cross. Everything that Christ
-
suffered is portrayed here for us in Isaiah 53.
-
But it starts out with these words, and I think
-
this is very appropriate that I give you this
-
at the beginning. First of all, he said, who
-
has believed our report? And to whom is the arm
-
of the Lord been revealed? In other words, who
-
is it that's believing God's report? Now, the
-
Hebrew word there is very interesting because,
-
first of all, it's in the feminine. In the Hebrew,
-
we have masculine and feminine words. Here we
-
have it in the feminine and literally here's
-
what it says. Who is she who says amen to her
-
husband's report? Who is she, the wife, who agrees
-
with her husband? Because here we're being brought
-
into identity. I've heard a lot here tonight
-
about... about husband and wife and relationships,
-
and we are the bride of Christ. I've heard this
-
repeated several times, both here and in the
-
prayer room. And I was listening because I'm
-
on that wavelength. And you'll see where we're
-
going tonight. My message tonight is simply this.
-
It's time for enlargement. But God is calling
-
for his bride, his church, of which you and I
-
are members. Paul the apostle said we have been
-
delivered from the law. We're no longer under
-
that bondage so that we might be married to another.
-
That is even to Christ that we may bring forth
-
seed unto him. That's very powerful. Then he
-
goes on to tell us that we are espoused to Christ.
-
engaged to Christ. So therefore, he wants us
-
to keep our relationships pure. So we are the
-
bride of Christ. We are now the bride of Christ.
-
There's going to be a celebration one of these
-
days, but we're already committed and we're connected.
-
And he calls us his bride. It's a tremendous
-
principle that is a mystery. According to Paul's
-
letter to the Ephesians, it's a mystery, but
-
it's a marvelous mystery. And what he's saying
-
here is in chapter 53, I want to give you the
-
report, he says, but who is she that's going
-
to say amen to it? I hope it's us who are here
-
tonight. I hope we, every one of us can say,
-
yes, Lord, I say amen to the report. I believe
-
the report. Amen. All right? Now, as we go into
-
that 53rd chapter, we have the description of
-
the sufferings of our Christ. He was wounded
-
for our transgressions. He was bruised for our
-
iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was
-
upon him, and by his stripes we were healed.
-
All of us were like sheep gone astray, but the
-
Lord laid on him the iniquity of us all. Not
-
only did he die for our sins, as we heard so
-
beautifully tonight, in the blood of the Lamb,
-
but also for our afflictions, for our healing.
-
And I want to talk a little bit about that tonight
-
too. But first of all, let's look at chapter
-
54. After Christ has been crucified, vilified,
-
humiliated, and he makes his grave in with the
-
rich. The Bible said he was buried in a rich
-
man's tomb, just borrowed tomb because he didn't
-
need it very long. Hallelujah. Now, the Bible
-
says after his death and crucifixion and all
-
the physical sufferings he went through and the
-
fact that he was buried. Now then, the next verse,
-
the next word in the prophetic from Isaiah the
-
prophet is sing. Let's say it. Come on, with
-
a little more enthusiasm. Sing. Hallelujah. Why?
-
Why you think, no, let's not sing. Let's weep.
-
Let's mourn. We just buried a man. The man, Christ
-
Jesus. But he's not there. We don't mourn for
-
his physical death. The fact is we enter into
-
the triumph of his death, burial, and resurrection.
-
And so now the Lord says to the bride, sing,
-
O barren one. You who did not bear, break forth
-
into singing and cry loud. You who did not travail
-
with child, for the children of the desolate
-
one will be more than the children of the married
-
wife, says the Lord. Now here's what he says
-
to the church here. This is God's word to you
-
tonight. Enlarge the place of your tent. and
-
let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitation.
-
Spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen
-
thy stakes. Now here we have powerful directions
-
from the Lord. He said, I want you to start singing
-
in anticipation of a birthing that is already
-
decreed by God. And he said, I want you to get
-
happy about it now. I want you to start singing
-
and knitting booties. Some of you younger folks
-
don't know what that means. Maybe some of you
-
older ones don't either. Been a long time since
-
you knitted booties. But when you have anticipation
-
and when you have expectation, and we have a
-
term that says she's expecting. Well, you know,
-
moms, you can't be a little bit pregnant. You
-
know that. You either are or you're not. And
-
if you are, you know you are. And pretty well
-
everybody else knows you are after a while. All
-
right? Now, here's what he said. Sing, for thou
-
shalt break forth on the right hand and on the
-
left. and thy seed shall inherit the nations,
-
the Gentiles, which means the ethos, many nations,
-
and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
-
Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed, neither
-
be thou confounded, for thou shalt not be put
-
to shame, for thou shalt forget the shame of
-
thy youth. and shall not remember the reproach
-
of your widowhood anymore. And then in verse
-
13, and all your spiritual children shall be
-
discipled. They shall be taught by the Lord and
-
obedient to his will, and great shall be the
-
peace and undisturbed composure of your children.
-
Now, these powerful... powerful words speak to
-
us of something awesome that God wants to do
-
right here in Life Bible Family Church. Hallelujah.
-
For this is an hour. The church is triumphant.
-
I just, you know, there are over 70 different
-
definitions of the church in the Bible. The church
-
is called the ecclesia, which means the called
-
out ones. The church is called a mighty army
-
with banners. The church is called fair as the
-
moon and brighter than the sun. The church is
-
called many, many things in the Bible. The church
-
is called a soldier or an army. And all of these
-
definitions, the church is called a bride. One
-
of the most wonderful descriptions of the church,
-
it's called the kurikodom in the Greek, and it
-
means the habitation of God. It's the place where
-
he dwells. He dwells in the midst of the church.
-
He walks in the midst of the church. He loves
-
to come to this building when you're here. He
-
wouldn't be here just to see the hay out in the
-
field. He's here to see you. He didn't come here
-
just to get warm or hot or cold. He's always
-
even tempered. Amen. And he's been in the fire
-
and didn't burn. He's walked through the flood
-
and didn't drown. Amen? You can find him in the
-
South Pole or in the North Pole, or you can find
-
him out there in the Sahara, no matter where
-
you go. And I've been in about 80 different countries
-
now, and I find Jesus everywhere. And the amazing
-
thing is he speaks all the languages, and they
-
can talk to him, and he understands them. And
-
I say, oh, glory, hallelujah. Now, what are we
-
talking about? The church is triumphant. But
-
I want to say to the church, it's time for enlargement.
-
Enlargement. I'm not just talking about knocking
-
a wall out here and just getting all frenzied
-
and start building with mud and brick and mortar.
-
But I'm talking about something that's got to
-
happen in our heart before it happens out there.
-
Are you with me? It's moving time. You better
-
get ready because the Lord told me he's fixing
-
to do some awesome things here. He said he's
-
going to bring you a mighty wave of new birth.
-
And we're going to see sons and daughters born
-
into the kingdom of God like we haven't seen
-
before. We're going to see sons and daughters.
-
We're going to see multitudes of young people
-
come into Jesus. I was thrilled to hear our pastor
-
talking about the little puppet trailer going
-
out here. That's good. That's a good start. But
-
listen, we're going to see something that'll
-
transcend all of that. We're going to see God
-
sovereignly touching people all around this community,
-
and God's going to bring them in, but he's doing
-
something in your heart here tonight and tomorrow
-
morning and the next service. I think we have
-
two more services after this, but I know he's
-
going to continue this work. But I want to talk
-
to you about that because the winds of God are
-
blowing. We heard it tonight in the prophetic.
-
There's a great shaking going on. The Bible said
-
when he builds up Zion, when he builds up Zion,
-
the set time has come to favor Zion. And when
-
he builds up Zion, then he shall appear in his
-
glory. Psalms 102 verse 16. When God builds up
-
Zion, when something is in the process of being
-
built up, there is an attendant glory. We don't
-
have to work it up. We don't have to try to pull
-
it down. We don't have to try to make it happen.
-
When God starts building something, his glory
-
is attendant. When he began a work in you, it
-
was the glory of God that came over you. His
-
glory come over you just as the Holy Ghost came
-
over Mary and she conceived and bore a son named
-
Jesus. There is a supernatural overshadowing
-
of the Holy Ghost that comes over every new convert,
-
everyone born, not of the will of the flesh,
-
not of the will of man, but by the will of God.
-
How many believe you're a miracle child? Well,
-
you are too. Amen. You're not just a normal has
-
-been. No, every one of you are significant to
-
God. God is absolutely awesome. He's an awesome
-
God. And all of his kids are awesome -ites. God
-
has never produced one insignificant child. Amen.
-
Now here's what the Lord says to his bride, the
-
one who says amen, the one who agrees with his
-
report. Whose report are you going to believe?
-
Who has believed the report of the Lord? I want
-
to talk to you a little bit about that in a moment,
-
but let's go back here to the text. What's he
-
saying to the church? Sing, O barren one. Why
-
should I sing? I've been barren. Do you understand,
-
folks, tonight we're living in a country that
-
has absolutely despised babies being born. We
-
have slaughtered 45 or to 50 million that we
-
know of in the last 30 years or so. A whole generation
-
of people have been murdered and wiped out. You
-
say, well, that's statistics. We read that in
-
the newspaper. But think about it. And then think
-
about the millions in America that cannot have
-
a baby. I'm talking about 12 to 15 million that
-
we know of that are infertile couples that are
-
crying and dying to have a baby. Over 200 ,000
-
test tube babies have been born since the first
-
one came out of the Petri tubes or dish, whatever.
-
What am I saying? I'm telling you folks that
-
we're not talking about some kind of artificial
-
birthing here. We're not talking about some mechanical
-
production. We're talking about Jesus Christ
-
coming in and birthing multitudes into the kingdom
-
of God supernaturally. And I believe that with
-
all my heart. And he said, I want you now to
-
enter into the finished work of the cross. Everything
-
he accomplished on the cross was to birth a church
-
that will make production and reproduce itself.
-
And he says to the bride, his bride, come on
-
and start singing. You've been barren, but you're
-
not going to be barren anymore. You've been barren
-
and ashamed. And that was a great reproach in
-
Bible times for a woman not be able to have a
-
child. And it still is a pain to multitudes today.
-
So I'm not here to hurt you and I'm not here
-
to bring up bad memories or anything else, but
-
I'm just preaching the Bible tonight to tell
-
you the premium that God puts upon children being
-
birthed into the family of God. We don't come
-
in here by any artificial dissemination. We come
-
in here by the holy word of God. born of royal
-
seed and we have the blood of Jesus cursing through
-
our veins. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We have been
-
redeemed not with corruptible things such as
-
silver and gold, but with the precious blood
-
of the Lamb. Now he says to the bride, start
-
singing. And what he says to us furthermore is
-
enlarge. Let's say it. Enlarge the place. of
-
your tent. Now, what does that mean? God said
-
you're in a very, very self -restrained, self
-
-imposed boundary. I want you to get this in
-
your spirit because before we have the kind of
-
growth God wants to give this church, God has
-
to operate on us individually and give us largeness
-
of heart. We've got to have the capacity for
-
that which God wants to give us. In a business
-
world, my friends tell me they seldom put a one
-
ulcer man in a three ulcer job. Come on. We don't
-
put eight tons on the half -ton pickup. God knows
-
our boundary. God knows our limits. God knows
-
our capacity. But in order for us to see what
-
God wants to do in your, because all of you have
-
been praying. There's been a lot of prayer here.
-
There's a strong surge of prayer. And I hear
-
God saying, I hear you, I hear you, I hear you.
-
And we keep on calling on him. I think it's great
-
to get quiet. And listen to what the Holy Ghost
-
has got to say to the church at this time. And
-
I'm here because God sent me here. I'm not here
-
because I need a place to preach. It's not because
-
I just don't have anything else to do. No, but
-
God's been quieting me. And I'll tell you a little
-
bit about that as we go along. In the last several
-
months, we've been through some very severe times
-
of testing as a family. We've been through the
-
fire. We've been literally in the fire. And I'm
-
telling you, I know what it is to walk down through
-
the valley of the shadow of death. But I also
-
know what it is to have a shepherd whose rod
-
and his staff comforts us. We'll tell you about
-
that too in a moment. But here's what God's saying.
-
He said, enlarge your tent. In other words, the
-
place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth
-
the curtains of thy habitation. Spare not, say
-
spare not. Do you understand what that word literally
-
means? It means, come on, quit limiting God.
-
Don't you try to Even think about building according
-
to your little frame of reference. Spare not.
-
God's saying, blow it out there. Hallelujah.
-
See if you can outsize me. Hallelujah. See if
-
you can outmaneuver my greatest concepts for
-
you. You can't. You can't even begin. Eye hasn't
-
seen it. Ear hasn't heard it. There's no capacity.
-
in our human mind or heart to even contain that
-
which God has already planned and purposed for
-
his glorious church. And you're part of that
-
future in God. Now here's what God's saying.
-
Don't limit me by your self -imposed barriers.
-
Don't you put your little limitation on it. But
-
we like it where we are. I'm cozy here. I'm comfy.
-
I'm in my comfort zone. I don't want to be part
-
of a big church. I don't want to give up my little
-
warm, fuzzy feeling where I know everybody. You
-
know, what's going to happen if a whole bunch
-
of heathen come in here? Sinners, Lord. What's
-
going to happen to my little position? I'm shaking
-
you tonight. You're not going to ever be the
-
same. You will not leave this building like you
-
come in. See, what I love is the fact that I
-
know you folks personally. It doesn't matter
-
to me. So whatever I'm telling you is so big,
-
and it's so awesome, and it's so great. If you'll
-
hear the end of it, if you can hang on for the
-
ride, you're going to come out okay. Because
-
what God's saying to us here, when you talk about
-
enlarging your tent, do you know what that means?
-
First of all, in the eastern countries, where
-
we travel a lot, A man's wealth is measured by
-
the number of stakes. Let's say stakes. I'm not
-
talking about the Mormon church now. He said
-
a man's wealth is measured by the number of stakes
-
he has in his tent. So if he's a very wealthy
-
man, they call him a many -staked man. Okay?
-
Watch this now. The Lord's saying to his beautiful
-
bride, come on, honey, start singing. Because
-
you're going to have a baby. Not only a baby,
-
but babies. I mean, whole bunches of them. And
-
you're going to break out. And so what I want
-
you to do is get your tent ready. All right?
-
Are you hearing me? God said, I want you to prepare
-
a place in your heart and in your mind and in
-
your spirit. Enlargement comes in the heart.
-
Now he said, enlarge the place of your dwelling,
-
your tent. All right, what does that mean? Well,
-
first of all, you know and I know that if you're
-
going to enlarge your tent, you're going to have
-
to go and start pulling up stakes. And the stakes
-
have been comfortable for a long time. And some
-
of these stakes were shoved in the ground in
-
the time of revival and refreshing when everything
-
was soggy and wet and mucky. And you can push
-
a two -by -four down with your hand in that kind
-
of stuff. But where God's taking you, you're
-
going to have to have a point. And you're going
-
to have to have some steel wrapped around your
-
head. Because when the hammer comes down on you,
-
God don't want you splitting. You still want
-
enlargement? No, don't bother me. We like it
-
just like it is. It's cozy here. We're just sweet
-
and we just love one another and everything's
-
lovely. But God's got a host of people out here
-
just waiting for you to get ready. I'm saying
-
waiting for you to get ready because we've got
-
to have enlargement in our heart before it'll
-
happen out here. Amen. And he said, enlargement
-
is decreed on you. You're going to break forth
-
on the right hand and on the left, but it won't
-
happen until you do some things. And that is
-
get your stakes pulled. And that means all the
-
stakes. Now I'm telling you in a tent, there
-
are some main pillars that are very important.
-
And these are your eldership and leaders of the
-
house that are strategic stakes. But let me tell
-
you, the tent has a lot of little stakes too.
-
And some of them are looking significant. and
-
they don't look like they're important, but if
-
you know anything about a tent, and if you know
-
anything about a storm, every one of those stakes
-
are important, because if you jerk one of them
-
out, just get one or two of those loose, it'll
-
take the whole tent. I know I've been there.
-
And folks, you understand what I'm saying? So
-
God's coming among us. It's not a matter of big
-
guys, little guys, big shots, little shots. Oh
-
no. God says every one of you are important to
-
him. You all have a strategic place and God will
-
not put more on you than you can handle. He's
-
not going to make you a pillar in the middle
-
of the tent if you can only be a stake out here
-
to hold a flap down. But wherever God puts you,
-
you're going to stay and you're going to be fruitful
-
and you're going to be part of. the program of
-
God, and you're going to be part of the enlargements
-
of God that God has already declared and decreed
-
upon you. I want you to know, folks, in the last
-
several weeks, the Lord's been working me over.
-
I mean, from the inside out, we've had some very
-
devastating times. Our son, well, first of all,
-
my wife was diagnosed with cancer of the colon,
-
and this was a shock to our whole system. She
-
was feeling fine. We'd been on a long walk that
-
day. We were getting along great, and a doctor
-
called her up after she'd just been in for annual
-
checkup, and he said, are you standing up? She
-
said, of course I'm standing up. Well, you shouldn't
-
be. You should be laying down. You shouldn't
-
be able even to walk. She said, well, I just
-
came back from a big, long walk with my husband,
-
and he said, well, your blood count is so low,
-
you better go right to the emergency room. Whoa.
-
Talk about a shocker. And from that day on, it
-
was one blow after another. And we got through
-
the final analysis and diagnosis, and they found
-
this huge cancerous growth in her body, on her
-
colon, and they took a large section of her colon
-
out. All of this happening just like that. Bang,
-
bang, bang. My son wrote her a beautiful letter,
-
the most beautiful letter she said she ever received.
-
I don't know about what she did with the ones
-
I wrote her, but anyway. You moms know what's
-
really special when your son or your daughter
-
writes you, and it was very special. And I'm
-
glad he did, but he was trying to encourage her
-
heart. But little did he know that in two weeks'
-
time, he would be diagnosed with cancer of the
-
throat and given two or three months to live.
-
All of this like that. In the midst of all of
-
that, the doctor said, I think you better go
-
in for a checkup when he checked me over. I was
-
just there for my annual checkup, being a good
-
boy, just being myself and doing my own business.
-
He said, I think I found something here. I said,
-
oh, Jesus. All at once, when the clouds return
-
after the rain, I'm talking about being through
-
it in the last few weeks, the last few months.
-
But let me tell you something. I said, we're
-
going through it, even though I walk through
-
the valley. Of the shadow of death. Thou art
-
with me. Your rod and your staff come for me.
-
But let me tell you something. In the midst of
-
all of this, in the midst of our son being tested,
-
he had just made a presentation to the major
-
leaders of the missionary world. Literally, I'm
-
talking about Youth for Christ that has 27 ,000
-
employees. The man who heads that. All the main
-
guys were there at this meeting. And when he
-
went to this meeting, with a passion, with a
-
vision from God of how to reach the unreached
-
peoples of the earth and how to literally disciple
-
them that don't have a language even. They don't
-
even have a written language. And so God gave
-
him this vision. And then another vision of having
-
concerts of praise and worship and prayer. All
-
over the world. He didn't know what dimension
-
he was talking about, but he just had the outline
-
of it. You understand? And he was giving this
-
report. And as he got up to give this report,
-
he said, Dad, something grabbed me by the throat.
-
It was his words. And he was in Hawaii giving
-
this presentation at a very strategic missions
-
conference. The head of the Southern Baptists,
-
the head of every major missionary. The Jesus
-
film people that reach billions of people over
-
the years. You understand? They're all there.
-
And when he gave his report, they were all weeping
-
and crying because God had birthed this in Marcus'
-
heart. And they made him the chairman of their
-
whole missionary project. And all of a sudden,
-
he says, Dad, I got up to speak and that thing
-
grabbed me. He used those terms. The thing grabbed
-
me in my throat. And then he said, I thought
-
it was bronchitis. I thought it was this. And
-
they went back and the doctors checked him and
-
all of this, folks. Well, let me tell you something.
-
He's been planted by God in Idaho. I didn't like
-
him going to Idaho because we wanted him in Southern
-
California near us. But the Lord planted him
-
in Coeur d 'Alene, Idaho. And there in that place
-
where he was planted, he came back to his town
-
and they checked him again. And a doctor said,
-
look, it's probably acid reflux. He said, I can't
-
breathe. I can't breathe that night. My throat's
-
all shut up. And so I felt like I was breathing
-
through a little cocktail straw. You understand?
-
Just barely wheezing his breath out. So they
-
brought him. I said, don't take him anywhere
-
else. Bring him up there. down there where we
-
live. And they had the specialists there, the
-
best in that part of the country. And they looked
-
at him, and this is the truth, folks. The doctors
-
were in shock. They just didn't know how to treat
-
this thing. They didn't know what to say. He
-
said, one thing we're going to do is cut a tracheotomy
-
here in your throat. We have to get you breathing.
-
And they did that. And when they took the MRI,
-
the doctor came back in shock. He said, listen.
-
Of all the oncology we've done and all of our
-
specialists at UCI and everywhere else at Stanford,
-
because they put it on the internet and showed
-
all their colleagues, we've never seen anything
-
like this. They said, we actually have a picture
-
of a little tiny hand, like a woman's hand, that's
-
gripped your vocal cords and pressing with their
-
thumb right against it. You talk about a demonic
-
thing. And the doctors, when I talked to our
-
doctor, he said, I feel goosebumps all over me.
-
He said, I've never heard anything like that.
-
They hadn't seen anything like that, nor has
-
anybody that's in that particular field seen
-
anything like it. But let me tell you what God's
-
doing. Hallelujah. The trach is out. The tumor's
-
shrinking. And Marcus is breathing. And he preached
-
five times last weekend, Sunday in his own church,
-
not fully, but he spoke in all five services.
-
But they're in the midst of a church. Now, what
-
I'm saying to you is this, Pastor, is, and I
-
want you to hear this church. They're in a town
-
in Coeur d 'Alene, a small town. But beside that
-
is another town called Post Falls, if you all
-
know what I'm talking about. All right? 10 ,000
-
people in that town. Seven years ago, a young
-
man who was saved out of all kinds of evil things
-
that he was into, and he'll tell it, he tells
-
it every week, a guy just a living testimony
-
of the grace of God. This young man was saved,
-
filled with the Spirit of God, called to preach
-
the gospel, and he started with four people in
-
his house seven years ago. They are now, listen
-
to me, they're now averaging 6 ,500 people every
-
week. In their church. In a town of 10 ,000,
-
they had almost 10 ,000 on Easter weekend in
-
five services. Packed to the gills. And here's
-
the secret, folks. Here's the power. Listen to
-
me. 6 ,100 of these people, at least, maybe almost
-
65, but 61 to 6 ,200 right now of these people
-
are in a small group. meeting every week. And
-
these people are getting their neighbors saved.
-
And he told them, he said, look, folks, I don't
-
know what to do. We're at the end of ourselves.
-
We don't know. We're packed out. He said, how
-
many of you folks got loved ones you want to
-
get saved? And everybody puts their hands up.
-
He said, all right, what are you going to do
-
with them? Where are you going to put them? We
-
got to do something. Time of enlargement. Well,
-
in the midst of all of this, God gave our son
-
Marcus a vision. He's an elder there in the church,
-
and the pastor actually wants them to be on pastoral
-
staff. But every one of their pastors, Brother
-
Brad, have been raised in the church. Every one
-
of them have been trained in the church. Some
-
of them are AT &T executives. One's a carpenter
-
or a mechanic. And another guy, something else.
-
These are all the pastors. And they're all so
-
sold out to God. And what's happening is absolutely
-
exponential growth. So the pastor said, well,
-
we got to add on. We got a plan. And they prayed
-
a whole year. And while they prayed, they grew
-
247%. I'm talking about post falls. You know,
-
it's on the map. It's not far from here. Now,
-
what am I saying? What's happening, folks? And
-
the pastor stands up and gives his whole resume.
-
I happened to be there. Thank God. I heard it
-
from day one. He told the whole story. He said,
-
and please. Don't ask me how, because I don't
-
know. I have no idea how this happened. I don't
-
know how to tell anybody else other than we just
-
love Jesus and disciple people, and they're baptizing
-
every week, every week. 30 people were baptized
-
the weekend I was there, and they just keep coming,
-
miracle after miracle after miracle. Well, our
-
son Marcus was on the plane, and the elders had
-
gone off to look. Am I boring you? I'll get back
-
to my text. But this is so important, folks.
-
I've got to tell you this because we're walking
-
through it now. And you folks have been praying.
-
I know you've been praying. And I feel the prayers.
-
I feel the prayers of the saints like we've never
-
felt them before. I could stand here all night
-
and tell you awesome miracles of people praying
-
from all over the world. We're getting calls
-
from China and Africa and Asia. Everywhere they're
-
praying. And God's answering that prayer. I just
-
want to tell you. But Marcus was on the plane
-
just before he went into the hospital. The pastor
-
had asked him to come with his elders, and they
-
went around looking at big buildings, you know,
-
getting an idea how to build a building. And
-
so they were flying from city to city, and the
-
pastor had already agreed, you know, they're
-
going to build this building, and all aboard
-
and all the guys were all, yeah, okay, that's
-
fine, we'll do it. But on the plane, the Lord
-
gave my son a vision, and he was sitting by the
-
pastor. And he was afraid to tell the pastor
-
because the pastor was all hyped up about this
-
building and he didn't know how to, you know,
-
deflate him. Not really deflate him, but in a
-
way, yes. Because when you've got your mind set
-
and you want to do something a certain way and
-
you've got it all figured out, you really don't
-
need much God, do you? I don't mean that against
-
our pastor at all. No, I'm not saying that. But
-
I mean, in our natural thinking, we got it all
-
figured out. So I brought my son sitting beside
-
him and the Lord gives him this vision and he's
-
sitting there and he sees this vision of a man
-
picking up the pastor in a pickup truck and taking
-
him out of town. And they're riding along in
-
his truck and this man that's driving the truck
-
is a stranger sort of guy. My son don't know
-
him. But he knows that this guy is really intent
-
on talking to the pastor. So he's driving along.
-
He sees him in this truck. And this guy, the
-
driving truck starts weeping. And the pastor
-
is telling this guy in the truck about their
-
plans to build this building. And the guy starts
-
weeping. He said, well, pastor, let me just drive
-
you by. something here right on the main highway.
-
Where the church is now, folks, it's back in
-
the boonies. I mean, I couldn't hardly find it.
-
If I tried to find my way there, I mean, what
-
people do, they just come from everywhere and
-
they're finding the place. But you understand,
-
he's off the beaten path. So this guy takes him
-
out right on the main highway, the main road
-
that goes to Spokane from Coeur d 'Alene. And
-
he's out there and he says, pastor, I just want
-
to tell you, we have 118 acres right here. Well,
-
my son told the pastor, said, it's over 100 acres
-
this guy has. He's going to talk to you about
-
it. And he's going to be crying. And he's going
-
to be so anxious to do it. You'll know it's God.
-
The pastor said, he told the whole church. I
-
was there and my son sitting beside me. He said,
-
I got mad at that guy. He didn't tell who the
-
guy was. Thank God. But he said, I got mad at
-
that elder. I thought it was a conspiracy. And
-
he said, my natural flesh got up. And he said,
-
I thought, why in the world are you throwing
-
a monkey wrench in this thing now? We got it
-
all planned. So, you know, we got it all together.
-
And he said, I know it'll take three and a half
-
million to buy that property and any other property
-
that we looked at. And so we're just going to
-
make do. And my son saw the whole thing. And
-
furthermore, he told my son, he said, you know,
-
I'm not into this prophetic thing so much. This
-
is what he said. You know, he's kind of a, you
-
know, he's a great guy. Loves Jesus. Good Southern
-
Baptist background or whatever he is. I don't
-
know. But almost all of his staff are Spirit
-
-filled guys. I know that. But anyhow, he loves
-
them too. And he loves Marcus. And Marcus is
-
a tongue -talking whatever he is. Praise God.
-
So he says, He's telling this to the church.
-
This was awesome production, awesome presentation.
-
And he has it all together. And so this guy says,
-
look, pastor. He said, I just got saved here
-
a couple months ago. But he started weeping and
-
crying. He said, but my wife and I can't quit
-
talking about our responsibility. He said, we
-
own this land. He says, but my brother owns half
-
of it. I own half. And he said, it's worth well
-
over $4 million. But he says, I'll tell you what,
-
I want to give you my half for sure. And right
-
now, he said, if you'll just pay my brother his
-
half, because he's not a Christian yet, he's
-
not in yet, but he'll probably bring it in pretty
-
soon. But anyhow, I mean, it was there. And the
-
fact of it is, it came to pass exactly like God
-
said it. You see, the word of the Lord is powerful.
-
The Lord God said, Amos 3, 7, the Lord God will
-
not do anything except he first reveals his secret
-
to his servants, the prophets. Amen. God always
-
says something before he does something. In the
-
beginning was the word. And then the word was
-
with God and the word was God. And that word
-
became flesh and dwelt among us. Now, let me
-
tell you what's happening. You see, this church
-
has exploded exponentially. Why? Because of simple
-
faith. This man of God told the story how God
-
sent him there and he didn't want to go there.
-
He didn't want to start a church. He didn't want
-
to plant a church. His daddy was a pastor. He
-
didn't want to be a senior pastor. He didn't
-
want. Well, listen, God has some other plans
-
for us. You know, a lot of stuff we don't want.
-
God seems to have a way of turning our hearts,
-
doesn't he? Amen. And so here's a guy in spite
-
of himself having the fastest growing church
-
per capita, as far as I know, anywhere in the
-
nation or in the world. Because it's growing
-
exponentially. And they're expanding so rapidly.
-
But here's the secret, folks. It's not just getting
-
people to sign a card or to join the church.
-
It's getting people, discipling them. And all
-
of these people are discipling others. Do you
-
hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? We're
-
going to produce children that will produce children.
-
We're going to produce children that will produce
-
after their kind. We're going to produce newborn
-
babes that are going to get other people saved.
-
Nobody... in the world is any more powerful than
-
a brand new convert. Come on. Do you remember
-
your zeal? Do you remember how you were when
-
you first got saved? Come on. That first love
-
is awesome. And when you do, you're going to
-
birth multitudes into the kingdom of God. All
-
right. Now he said the church is talking about
-
new commitment. Check your bulwarks. This is
-
what the Holy Spirit spoke to me. I want you
-
to check your stakes. I want you to check your
-
bulwarks. I want you to check your placements.
-
I want you to check the fidelity in this body.
-
God's coming among us with new direction, with
-
new marching orders, and God's going to raise
-
up new leadership. You're going to see people
-
coming up into leadership in this house that
-
will astound you. God's going to put people into
-
this place. And let me tell you something. The
-
Lord seldom imports pillars. He makes them on
-
the job. In the book of Revelation, he said to
-
him that overcometh, I'll make him to be a pillar
-
in the house of my God, and he shall not go out
-
anymore. In other words, he'll plant you there.
-
He'll place you there. And the amazing thing
-
is, he said, I'll even put my name on the product.
-
After I whittle that pillar out of the stock
-
of rough old tree that comes in there, whatever
-
it is, it may look awful burly and rough, but
-
God said when I get done with it, I'll have enough
-
pride in my work to put my name on it. Amen.
-
Now the quality goes in before the name goes
-
on. Hallelujah. And he's talking about new leadership
-
coming, Pastor. He's talking about men and women
-
of God on the stretch for God. God never seemed
-
to use a man in history because he'd arrived,
-
but because he was willing to go somewhere with
-
God. And God's not only going to use men, God's
-
going to use women. Some of God's greatest men
-
are women. Got to watch how I say that in California,
-
but anyhow. We're talking about men like Jabez
-
in the Bible who prayed, oh God. Enlarge my borders
-
in righteousness. God, stretch me. God, give
-
me the capacity. God, give me the heart of enlargement.
-
And in order to do that, you're going to start
-
singing. You're not going to be bad -mouthing.
-
You're not going to be brow -beating somebody.
-
But you're going to get in and start whistling
-
a tune. You're going to start knitting booties.
-
Hallelujah. Pull out. the curtains. Stretch them
-
out. What are the curtains? That's our covering.
-
We'll understand and have a great respect for
-
the five -fold ministry that God has set over
-
the church. Amen. We need to stretch our curtains.
-
And then God said, listen to me. God said, strengthen
-
your stakes. And then lengthen your cords. I
-
want to talk about that a little bit here. After
-
we start singing, we're going to break forth
-
like Sarah did. Oh, hallelujah. By faith, Sarah
-
herself, it says, believed God and received strength
-
and delivered a child. Let me tell you something
-
about Sarah. She was 90 years old. Come on. How
-
many know when you're 90, it's kind of you're
-
over the hill? I've got a ways to go yet. Hallelujah.
-
But Hera's sister, Sarah, never had a baby. She
-
had no knowledge of having a baby. She couldn't
-
understand the mechanics of it. But everything
-
that made babies in her was dried up. Old. The
-
Bible said that she didn't consider the deadness
-
of her womb. Well, let me tell you about my God.
-
Oh, my God. When he came down there and visited
-
Brother Abraham, his friend, and Abraham washed
-
God's feet, well, he did too. And then he told
-
his wife to run and fetch a calf and get it killed
-
and make some good veal paprikash. If you don't
-
know what that is, you're missing everything.
-
And so she's out there in the next tent dressing
-
that calf and making dinner for God. And like
-
every good wife, she's listening at the tent
-
flap. What the guys are talking about. And God
-
says, next year about this time, I'm going to
-
visit Sarah. And Sarah is going to have a baby.
-
And Sarah busted out laughing. She said, that's
-
a joke. God said, I hear you laughing. Oh, no,
-
God, I'm not laughing. Oh, yes, you're laughing,
-
but you're good. That's all right. Just keep
-
laughing. Just keep laughing. Now, something
-
happened when God touched Sarah. You talk about
-
an extreme makeover. I mean, God lifted up everything
-
that had sagged down. God proportioned her. And
-
listen to me, I'm talking about the Bible where
-
you say, where do you get this? In the Bible.
-
You have to read between the lines, but it's
-
there. And the devil tried to mess this thing
-
up. Here she is, 90 years old, a knockout. She
-
was gorgeous. Talk about hormones. Talk about
-
buildup. Talk about, I mean, ain't nobody, nobody
-
had a makeover like this dear lady did. She was
-
gorgeous. She would not only physically fit,
-
but she was gorgeous in so much that Abimelech,
-
the king of a whole country, Saw her out there.
-
Said, fetch me that young chick. That's in Aramaic.
-
And he did. He sent his guys out there from the
-
harem and said, you just put her right on number
-
one list. Right there. Number one stall. Because
-
he had lots of them. Put her in number one slot.
-
Amen. She's a prize. And he start paying off
-
her so -called brother. Oh, boy, Abraham's quite
-
a guy. You know, he really was. He said, really,
-
she's my sister. We won't go down that road.
-
Let's stay with Sarah. It's more exciting. God
-
came to that Abimelech that night. Listen to
-
me carefully now. God's got to heal the church
-
of barrenness. The first, God's got to heal the
-
church of barrenness. And there's a reproach
-
to that. But God said, I'm not only going to
-
heal this church, I'm talking about us. But he
-
said, I'm going to take away the shame. I'm going
-
to take away the reproach. That night, God came
-
down on that king, Abimelech, and said, listen,
-
son, you touch that woman and you're a dead man.
-
And just in case you think I'm kidding, I've
-
already locked up, listen to me, I've already
-
locked up every womb in your kingdom. Every woman
-
under your kingship is barren from this moment
-
on. There'll be no more production. You touch
-
her, you're a dead man. My God. You talk about
-
scaring a man. He screamed out, oh my God. I
-
didn't know. He said, that's my prophet out there.
-
And that's his wife. And don't you mess with
-
what I want done because she's going to bear
-
a son according to my word. Listen to me, church.
-
We're on the very threshold. of an awesome breakthrough
-
in God. He said, you're going to bust out on
-
the right hand and on the left. The first, listen
-
to me, the first miracle in the Bible of healing,
-
the first miracle was the healing of barrenness.
-
I believe the last miracle in the Bible is going
-
to be the healing of a barren church. And we're
-
not going to just see people coming, to join
-
our friendly atmosphere. They're going to be
-
born again into the family of God because God
-
doesn't have any grandkids. He has sons and daughters.
-
Amen. Are you with me? Are you hearing me tonight?
-
And so what God's saying to the church right
-
here, what I sense in my spirit so strongly,
-
listen, God's saying to the church, get ready
-
because you're going to break out on the right
-
hand. And on the left, you're going to see a
-
vision without boundaries. You're going to see
-
God stretching you. And he said, you shall embrace,
-
listen, you shall embrace many ethnos, many nations.
-
We're going to see people from all kinds of backgrounds.
-
coming into the kingdom of God. I don't know
-
what's out here in your demographics in this
-
country, but whatever's out there, God said,
-
I want them all. I am not going to shout on anybody.
-
And I'm talking about every kind of race and
-
color and creed and people. Folks, we don't have
-
a right to go to Africa if we can't believe God
-
can save our neighbor over here. You understand
-
what I'm saying? We've got to believe God to
-
break down in us any kind of resistance to whatever
-
God wants to do. Listen, we old Pentecostals
-
were so strong on this for years and I was, I
-
were one. So I understand it. But you know, we
-
try to clean our fish before we caught them.
-
God said, I'm no respecter of persons. He said,
-
Peter, rise, slay, and eat. You know the vision
-
he had, Acts chapter 9. Oh, no, Lord, I'm not
Acts 9 chapter mention
-
going to get into that creepy, crawly stuff.
-
God said, you better, or you're a dead man. Amen?
-
Don't you call that which I've called clean,
-
unclean. Don't you try to label something different
-
than I've labeled it. Amen? And so let's remember
-
this. I know this is sombering. I know this is
-
sobering because it's not going to be just people
-
that fit into our little ethnic concept. We better
-
get ready for whoever God wants to bring in.
-
We've got to get ready. Amen. One of the greatest
-
miracles that happened at Post Falls. How many
-
remember the Groney family where the children
-
were kidnapped and the whole family was slaughtered
-
just about a year ago? Okay. The father of those
-
children was actually the first suspect because
-
he looked like a very rough character. He wasn't
-
living with his family, but they called him in
-
as a suspect. It was all on the news. It was
-
everywhere. Well, that man, two months ago, that
-
man contracted throat cancer just about the same
-
time Marcus did. They had been praying for him
-
day and night. His children had been praying
-
because his children went to school with those
-
little children that were kidnapped. And one
-
of them was killed. And the little girl still
-
goes to school with their children. So they're
-
very close. In fact, it happened very close to
-
where they live. But in the meantime, about two
-
months ago, this man was contracted cancer and
-
came to the church and asked them to pray for
-
him. And he got saved. And they began to pray
-
for his healing. In the meantime, his little
-
girl got saved about two weeks ago when we were
-
there that Sunday. Marcus is now tutoring them
-
and getting them ready. And the pastor wants
-
him to baptize that whole bunch. That's the power
-
of God. Folks, God's fixing to do something awesome
-
in this place. And we're going to see signs and
-
wonders and miracles. Let me just say this to
-
you individually. When the horse is dead, dismount.
-
we've got to quit beating some of our old dead
-
horses. We've got some old brain dead projects
-
that need to go in our personal life, in our
-
imagination. Many of you people are restrained
-
by false burdens that don't belong to you, that
-
devil put on you and told you you should have
-
done this and should have done that because you
-
didn't do that. Therefore, you can't do anything
-
else. It's time to settle that, folks. This is
-
God's time to say, get out of that little frame
-
of mind, and we're going to see enlargement.
-
Say enlargement. Keep saying it. Say enlargement.
-
Write it on big word, big letters on your mirror
-
in the bathroom. Say enlargement. Hallelujah.
-
Take Bon Ami and write it on there, whatever.
-
Do you know what Bon Ami is? You don't know that.
-
Okay. Some of you older folks do. Here's what
-
God's saying. Here's what I want to do in this
-
church. I want to strengthen the stakes. God's
-
coming to investigate us. It's okay. He has a
-
right. He's the Lord of this church. He's the
-
builder. He's the architect. He is the author.
-
He's the finisher. And he's coming to check us
-
out. And sometimes when he jerks us out of our
-
comfort zone, we don't like what we see. Because
-
some of those stakes are not as strong as we
-
thought they were. They may have a little termite
-
work on them. They may have some dry rot. They
-
may have some stuff on them that God's not going
-
to throw them in the fire. He may have to cut
-
them down to size and sharpen them again. But
-
every one of us are vital to God. You see, he's
-
not here to destroy us. He's here to plant us.
-
He's here to strengthen us. Now, listen to me
-
carefully. We've got to have strength. Oh, my
-
God. We have to have strength before length.
-
I'll finish this tomorrow. You'll come back.
-
Anyhow, we have to have strength before we can
-
have length. Then he said, lengthen your cords.
-
This is very critical to me, Pastor. I'm prophesying
-
this, that God's going to give you completely
-
new relationships with ministries you've never
-
connected with before. These cords are going
-
to go far out. They're going to go far out. But
-
we've got to have strength here to hold those
-
cords. We cannot extend these cords any further
-
than our stakes can hold. See, I'm speaking to
-
you prophetically. God wants to enlarge you,
-
pastor, enlarge your staff, enlarge your vision,
-
and open new doors of relationships to you. These
-
cords represent new ties, new relationships,
-
and that's going to bring life and vitality like
-
you never dreamed possible into this house. It's
-
not an accident that God brought us together,
-
brother. It's not because I'm anything, but it's
-
because in God's economy, he's everything. But
-
he arranges our steps and our stops. Amen? He
-
does that. For a reason, because God wants us
-
to have this awesome business of cross -pollination.
-
We need to cross -pollinate. We need new life.
-
We need new understanding. We need new relationships
-
in the body of Christ. See, we can get so centered
-
until it's us four and no more. But God wants
-
us to see beyond our borders. Amen? Now. What
-
he wants to do is bring a special sense of birthing.
-
And I feel this is time right now to do this.
-
Many years ago, among the other gifts that God
-
gave me, in his wonderful, wonderful, matchless
-
grace, and it's all by his grace because everything
-
we have is by his grace. It's all been received,
-
not achieved. Okay? You got that? Okay. I'm fully
-
aware of that. But God put something on me that
-
I didn't ask for. And it happened in Brother
-
Kightley's church many, many years ago. We were
-
in the midst of the hippie revival. And some
-
of you are here tonight. And so, you know the
-
old beetle bus you had and the psychedelic pain
-
on it and all that stuff. Well, anyhow, I was
-
preaching in this meeting and there were scores
-
of young people that got saved. during that time
-
i'm talking about berkeley berserkly people and
-
they were there and there were all kinds of them
-
from all different ethnic ethnos i was closing
-
the meeting like i'm doing right now and i felt
-
in my spirit these kids many of them been saved
-
about you know six months maybe a year but they
-
were really just having a hard time finding out
-
their identity. And they had been so used to
-
living communal, you know, they lived in communes
-
and done the thing. But Mama Kitely, she's like
-
a mother hen. I mean, she put the kibosh on all
-
that stuff and she got them living good. But
-
now they were terrified at the prospect of marriage.
-
I didn't know this, but the Holy Ghost showed
-
me. And I thought, well, I said, here goes. I'm
-
going to take a chance on it. Here goes. I said,
-
there's people here tonight that have been afraid
-
to get married. I was thinking three or four
-
people, maybe two. And I made the statement,
-
and I just made a humble appeal, and I said,
-
I don't know why, but I feel anointed to pray
-
for you, to take the fear off of you, give you
-
the liberty to go out and find a good wife, husband,
-
whatever, and you'll find them. They're here.
-
They're all around you. And they looked at me
-
in shock. And that pastor, Violet, you know,
-
you've got to know her. She's like a little dandy
-
rooster. She's praying in tongues. Where is this
-
guy taking us? I didn't know. But what happened
-
that night, I don't know, about 70, I think,
-
60 or 70 kids came up. We prayed for them. Well,
-
Pastor David called me a few months later. He
-
said, Brother Moses, he's going to come over
-
and help me. He said, every Sunday we're having
-
three or four weddings. We've turned our Sunday
-
evenings into just weddings and all communal
-
things. And they're all celebrating. And that's
-
good. So about a year later, he had me come back
-
and preach. And I'm preaching like this, just
-
closing the meeting. All of a sudden, I feel
-
this incredible sense of now. Come on me. I said,
-
you know. There may be one or two of you people
-
out here that are having trouble having a baby.
-
And maybe you want somebody to pray for you.
-
I said, I don't know why I'm doing this because
-
I haven't done this before. But if you're here
-
and you want help, I have faith that God's going
-
to break the spirit of barrenness. Well, here
-
comes this mob. Serious. They come up and I don't
-
know how long it was I was up there praying.
-
They're all legitimately married couples now.
-
About a year later, Pastor David calls me again.
-
He said, you better come up here and help me
-
raise some money because we need nurseries like
-
you wouldn't believe. He said, babies are coming
-
everywhere. I mean, they're just prolific. The
-
spirit of faith came. God started something in
-
me. And since that time, I'm not exaggerating,
-
we have prayed for multitudes of people. And
-
some of them were really, really stretched my
-
faith. Some of them looked like Sarah, I'm telling
-
you, that came up. And they had babies. I mean,
-
that just, it's unbelievable. I don't mean after
-
she had the extreme makeover either. I'm talking
-
about before. But what I'm saying here, we were
-
preaching in a meeting and God spoke to me. I
-
was standing on the platform by the pastor. He
-
was my dear friend. He's a prophet. If I mentioned
-
his name, you'd know him. Had a large church.
-
Been married 10 years. No children. They couldn't
-
have a baby. Beautiful wife. He's a vibrant young
-
man and all of that. And I'm standing there beside
-
him. He said, and the Lord said to me, tell him
-
that they're going to have a baby. So I just
-
leaned over and whispered to him while the worship's
-
going on, you know, and he froze. His eyes got
-
big as saucers. He looked like he'd been shot.
-
He just stood there. He had a way of expressing
-
himself that was very unique. And he said to
-
me, oh, he says, Moses. Okay. It's up to you.
-
I mean, God just told me. I mean, if you want.
-
No, he says, you don't understand. We've had
-
all kinds of prophecies over us for years and
-
nothing happens. And he said, if this doesn't
-
come to pass, this might strain our relationships.
-
That's what he said to me. I said, it's up to
-
you, pal. But in that instant, he was absolutely
-
gripped by the word, you see. But faith hadn't
-
come yet. In about 10 seconds, I saw it. It hit
-
his face like that. Yes! I believe. I said, okay.
-
Now we're ready to do business. And the Holy
-
Ghost gave me a powerful prophetic vision. And
-
I said, listen to me. This is first. The natural.
-
This pastor and his wife, who've been trying
-
for 10 years, are going to have a baby. And I
-
don't do this, believe me, I don't do this lightly.
-
And I don't do it unless the Holy Ghost tells
-
me to do it. And I'm not about to advertise here
-
tonight for a job. I'm not looking for that kind
-
of prayer. I'm just saying what God told me to
-
tell you. But in that instant, I saw it. I saw
-
it. I saw literally. Hundreds and hundreds, in
-
fact, thousands of people getting saved in that
-
church. I said, first the natural. This baby
-
is going to be a sign of a breakthrough of birthing
-
in this body. There was about a thousand people
-
there that morning. And the spirit of faith that
-
came on that pastor came on the congregation.
-
I didn't know it, but I just flat told the people,
-
I said, look. This is yours if you want it. If
-
you're out here and you're barren and you want
-
a baby, this is your time. Grab it because it's
-
here. It's right now. And I'm not going to lay
-
hands on you or anything. You just take it by
-
faith, by the word of the Lord. And then I prophesied
-
what was going to happen, that there would be
-
multitudes of people saved after this natural
-
birthing. This would break out. And I went a
-
step further, which I very reluctantly do ever.
-
But that morning, it was so strong, I told him,
-
the time that I'm coming back to dedicate that
-
baby. Now, I don't say this to glorify Moses'
-
baby because I'm telling you, I'm shivering now
-
because this is scary stuff. And I don't do this
-
lightly. Please understand that. But it came
-
to pass. And we came back on that date that I
-
told him I'd be there to dedicate that child.
-
Within the year. And he tormented me for months.
-
Would not tell me that she was pregnant. The
-
very week after. The word of the Lord came to
-
her. She was pregnant. And he wouldn't tell me.
-
Tormented me. Even had me come back and preach.
-
About four months. By that time she couldn't
-
hardly hide it. Because I could see the difference.
-
And he finally admitted it to the congregation
-
that morning. First time he wanted me to be there.
-
But listen, folks. When we dedicated that little
-
boy, their pride and joy, we had at least 15
-
other babies that we dedicated that morning.
-
And one of them, by the word of the Lord, was
-
a woman that had multiple miscarriages. I just
-
said multiple. I didn't know. But this woman
-
had nine miscarriages, and she brought this one
-
to full term. We had a whole line of them all
-
there. They all got pregnant within about the
-
same matter of days. Now, what happened? A revival
-
broke out, and that church began to explode.
-
They couldn't hold the people in the building.
-
They had to go to the fairgrounds. They had over
-
2 ,000 people. The last count I had that come
-
to Jesus. Spiritual birth. First the natural,
-
then the spiritual. This evening, I'm going to
-
ask the church to consciously step up to the
-
Lord's plate and say, Father, break in me every
-
spirit of barrenness. I'm not talking about natural.
-
Don't get scared now. One woman said in that
-
meeting, all I did was carry his briefcase out.
-
But people didn't know. But this was God's time
-
visit. And I'm not playing games with you tonight.
-
I'm just telling you actual facts of things that
-
God did do and how it relates to the spiritual.
-
God uses this terminology to get our attention.
-
Amen? We're going to break out on the right hand
-
and on the left. And maybe you've had heartaches.
-
Maybe you've had broken dreams and all of that.
