  1. It has indeed been a real pleasure to be with

  2. you. And as is my tradition a little bit, I have

  3. brought my family with me digitally. There's

  4. my precious Gordon. And yeah, we are seriously

  5. talking. And I think the way we'll do it is mostly

  6. I'll bring my husband on vacation for two weeks,

  7. maybe come for a holiday, come do some ministry

  8. and then spend some time. But that's our 25th

  9. wedding anniversary. And that was 18 months ago

  10. now. That's my boy David, he's my 20 year old

  11. and he's doing maths and business study at university.

  12. Then that's my daughter Nicola, married to Tim

  13. Douglas and they have just emigrated to Australia

  14. about three weeks ago where they've just become

  15. the pastors of a satellite church out of Hillsong,

  16. Sydney. And so she's already, they're 25 and

  17. 23 now and got their first church. So that's

  18. my terrible three. But they haven't given me

  19. a grandchild yet, so I've got the next best thing.

  20. Beautiful chocolate puppy who's growing up fast.

  21. And if you listened to the tape last night, you'll

  22. know how to get fat and break yolks. And all

  23. good Christian households should train their

  24. dogs. I think it's so funny. So there you go.

  25. But I started last night to look at Isaiah 58.

  26. And in each service, in many ways, I want to

  27. carry on the theme, but look at different mirror

  28. images of what I believe God is saying from this

  29. passage. And I most probably focused on verses

  30. 6 and 7 last night, doing them as an overview

  31. of this chapter. And this morning, I want to

  32. actually focus on verses eight onwards and referring

  33. back. And maybe if you get the series, you get

  34. three for the price of one or whatever. But I

  35. just believe that this chapter somehow, as I've

  36. just read it in the Northwest, I've just kept

  37. feeling God saying this is a chapter that he

  38. wants to write in history. And he wants to begin

  39. to out... Write this chapter with your lives

  40. and especially coming up July the 4th. I know

  41. you do a lot in the community and there's that

  42. interface. Well, why do we do these things sometimes?

  43. Why? What is it all about? But I believe God

  44. is just doing something in these days to put

  45. the church footprint back in the community. And

  46. it's that time of linking church, commerce and

  47. community together so that the power of God can

  48. flow in a greater dimension and capacity. I was

  49. thinking about July the 4th and yes, the British

  50. are coming and the British are going, but we

  51. did leave you red, white and blue. And I think,

  52. you know, July the 4th wouldn't look very good

  53. without red, white and blue. If you don't like

  54. it, we'll take it back. It's funny, I was just

  55. thinking about that. It's really interesting,

  56. actually. As I look across the nations, the red,

  57. white, and blue nations, and God spoke to me,

  58. actually, a little while ago and said, watch

  59. out for the red, white, and blue nations. I'm

  60. doing something. Norway is one. Italy is one.

  61. France is one. America. And it's just there's

  62. something, I believe, of almost the balance.

  63. Many of these red, white, and blue nations, they're

  64. almost like in the balance. Which way are you

  65. going to go? Which way are you going to go? Who

  66. are you going to seek? And actually, the red,

  67. white, and blue, I don't know if you know, but

  68. it was done very biblically, prophetically, way

  69. back before America picked it up. You know, Norway,

  70. actually, picked up red, white, and blue. And

  71. it really was given to them by the bishop of

  72. Oslo, working with the government. And God gave

  73. them the colors red, white, and blue. Red to

  74. be the blood of Jesus Christ. White to be the

  75. purity of the bride of Christ. And blue to be

  76. the color of revelation in heaven touching earth.

  77. And so they, you know, the very bishop as they

  78. sat down to design their flag were given those

  79. colors prophetically. And so maybe, you know,

  80. there is something more in it than sometimes

  81. we realize. So Father, we just pray that you'll

  82. bless the word as we come to study this word

  83. this morning. And we pray that you will give

  84. us. Your view, your pattern, your design of what

  85. you want to do in these days. Because we do believe

  86. there is a breakthrough season coming. And we

  87. thank you for it. And everybody said, Amen. And

  88. so I want to actually read from verse 8 today.

  89. Then your light will break forth like the dawn.

  90. And your healing will quickly appear. And then

  91. your righteousness will go before you and the

  92. glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then

  93. you will call and the Lord will answer and you

  94. will cry for help and he will say, here I am.

  95. If you do away with the yoke of oppression and

  96. with the pointing finger in malicious talk, and

  97. if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry

  98. and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then

  99. your light will rise in the darkness and your

  100. night will become like the noon day. So I'm going

  101. to ask God to just reveal some of this. Last

  102. night, I picked up very much the whole, the chains

  103. of oppression and how God breaks chains of injustice,

  104. how he unties yokes that come upon us and how

  105. he releases oppressive atmospheres. But he does

  106. the spiritual work, but he also asks us to cooperate

  107. with him to do the practical work of verse seven.

  108. He says, come on, share your food with the hungry,

  109. provide shelter. And I finished off really by

  110. saying, and don't turn away from your own flesh

  111. and blood. And how often in our first world nations,

  112. both Britain and America, we've been missionary

  113. sending nations, we've been generous, we've been

  114. very humanitarian in supporting the poor and

  115. needy of the third world nations. But often we

  116. turn away from our own flesh and blood in our

  117. own streets. And we need a fresh revelation of

  118. how do we turn towards our own and provide practical

  119. help and care for them, as well as the spiritual

  120. and the natural coming together. How does heaven

  121. touch earth and then earth touch heaven? How

  122. do we create those lightning conductors for the

  123. power of God to break through in our communities

  124. and our parts of geography? And so we looked

  125. at this chapter and how from verse two to verse

  126. five, God is wrestling with this people saying,

  127. you think you can tick a lot of boxes and you're

  128. doing well, but I've got issue with even your

  129. your fasting and your sacrifice. You think you're

  130. a spiritual good people making sacrifice, fasting

  131. and praying, but actually so much of your motivation

  132. is self -motivated. Because if God doesn't turn

  133. up when you want in the way you want, your fasting

  134. and seeking, which appears to put God first,

  135. actually ends in an attitude of fighting God

  136. and accusing him. And so you say, look, God,

  137. we're doing all this for you. Where are you when

  138. we need you? You know, your attitude is very

  139. quickly, God, I've humbled myself. God, I prayed,

  140. but you don't keep your side of the bargain.

  141. And God says, you know what? That isn't the attitude

  142. that draws the heart of God. And he wants us

  143. to have a whole yieldedness that doesn't demand

  144. of God, but is far more complicit towards him.

  145. And so that's the beginning of it. And then we

  146. looked at breaking the chains of injustice and

  147. beginning to look at our social responsibility.

  148. And then we come to verse eight. It says, then,

  149. in other words. Because of those changes of our

  150. heart and the changes of our behavior, it then

  151. triggers something in the heavens which gives

  152. a season of release. And I spoke last night and

  153. again today, I just feel that there is a breakthrough

  154. that God wants to give in the West Coast of America.

  155. I've most probably traveled in and out of the

  156. States very regularly over the last 10 years.

  157. My parents are actually American citizens. They

  158. changed their nationality in 1990. And so my

  159. parents live in Texas. My brother, his wife,

  160. and three kids also live in Texas. But I've never

  161. really felt a great sense of call spiritually

  162. to the south except to go home but i've always

  163. felt this connection to the west which is more

  164. inconvenient it's much longer flight greater

  165. time shift and everyone says why don't you go

  166. to you know old england new england all that

  167. i said i don't know i'm west coast girl I feel

  168. there's something in the West Coast that I want

  169. to just break through. There's something here

  170. of a breakthrough anointing. I believe in this

  171. geography. There's something of the mandate of

  172. God. Prophetically, the pioneer forerunner spirit

  173. is in this land, both in the natural and I believe

  174. in the spiritual. And so there needs to be the

  175. then. It will break through. How many of you

  176. want that then? Then, and I believe in the spirit,

  177. then your light will break forth like the dawn.

  178. And I have such a sense that there's that pressing

  179. urgency for the then of God. And so God is refining

  180. motivations, refining activities, refining what

  181. we're doing and saying, come on, it is time to

  182. work both in the spiritual and in the natural

  183. so that we can live in the then of God. Then

  184. your light will break forth like the dawn and

  185. your healing will quickly appear. Then your righteousness

  186. will go before you and the glory of God will

  187. be your rear guard. And you see, when we look

  188. at Isaiah 58, it's that transitional chapter

  189. in the prophetic flow of Isaiah. If you read

  190. back about Isaiah 35, the book suddenly takes

  191. a step up. The first chapters of Isaiah, much

  192. more about sin, about nations and all sorts of

  193. stuff. And just giving a general overview of

  194. the spiritual state of nations. And you get to

  195. Isaiah 35 and suddenly the prophet Isaiah begins

  196. to say, but there's something going to break

  197. forth. This wilderness is going to blossom like

  198. a rose. rose and the lame will leap. A highway

  199. of our God will be made there. Then you come

  200. to Isaiah 40. Comfort, comfort my people. Prepare

  201. a highway for our God. Again, let that prophetic

  202. sound cry out. Out in the wilderness, prepare

  203. a way from our God. Every valley will be made

  204. low. Every mountain will be lifted up. Verse

  205. five. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed.

  206. And all mankind can see it. That's verse 40.

  207. And then you transition, you know, 42. This is

  208. my servant, the one that I've called. You know,

  209. I'll be with you when you go through the fire,

  210. et cetera, et cetera. And you get to Isaiah 49.

  211. And then there's that incredible scripture from

  212. about verse 20 on about the restoring of God.

  213. And it says, you know, I looked around me and

  214. I said, where did these come from? When I was

  215. barren, you enlarged me. And now they will say,

  216. this place is too small. You know that scripture,

  217. Isaiah 40. Then we come on to 55. Ho, everyone

  218. that's thirsty. 54, which is sing, O barren one.

  219. Enlarge the place of your tent. And so it goes

  220. on. And then you feel the crescendo and suddenly

  221. it's 58, which says, whoa. If, if, if, if, then,

  222. if, if, if, then. It's a transition. It's like

  223. the prophet is seeing something so incredible

  224. that it's going to break forth and suddenly there's

  225. a little pause button. on a minute. Don't just

  226. think this is for granted. We've got to do some

  227. ifs and thens, ifs and thens. And then we're

  228. back into Isaiah 60. Arise, shine, for the light

  229. has come, the glory of the Lord. Isaiah 61, for

  230. the spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon me,

  231. because he has anointed me. Isaiah 62, come on,

  232. you're no longer called deserted or desolate,

  233. but now Hepzibah, etc. I mean, you don't need

  234. the whole of Isaiah, but you get the picture.

  235. And you see, there's such a cry. I am this prophet.

  236. I want to see breakthrough. I want to see this

  237. desert barren place. Break forth. But Isaiah

  238. 58 is that transition. And it's almost like in

  239. this incredible flow, he just stops himself and

  240. says, I so want this to happen for you. But if,

  241. if, if, then, then, then. And that's why I believe

  242. it's so important for Oregon. Because I believe

  243. many of those Isaiah scriptures, arise, shine,

  244. have been prophetic words. But there's an if

  245. in there. There's a then. And so God is saying,

  246. come on, then if you begin to get hold of the

  247. understanding of the deliverance anointing that

  248. really breaks through, if you begin to understand

  249. the generosity to the poor and needy, the practical

  250. expression of helping little people look better,

  251. practically, not just spiritually, then something's

  252. going to break through. And this light that will

  253. arise and shine is greater than even that dawn.

  254. When it begins, how many know when dawn begins,

  255. you can't push it back. There's no backwards

  256. button. Only Joshua made working with God made

  257. it go back. But we know once the dawn is pressed,

  258. we get breakthrough. It comes to the zenith.

  259. It comes to the full noon day sun. Then your

  260. light will begin that increase. And the wonderful

  261. thing about light is, and my background is, I'm

  262. a scientist, the wonderful thing about light

  263. is it always overcomes darkness. It's made that

  264. way. Light overcomes darkness. And I believe

  265. there's such a battle in this northwest area

  266. against the darkness of occultic power and the

  267. darkness of sexual perversion. But when we get

  268. certain pieces in place, then this light will

  269. break forth as the dawn. And it cannot be stopped.

  270. It will come to the zenith, the noonday sun.

  271. Light always overcomes darkness. And so I believe

  272. that God wants to put a new, I don't know, an

  273. understanding of faith that when we're in the

  274. right place at the right time, the right thing

  275. cannot but help but happen. Light always overcomes

  276. darkness. And so I believe there's a consistency

  277. that God wants to put in us in doing the right

  278. thing. And so often the intimidation of the devil

  279. stops us just consistently doing right. And we

  280. begin to think, well, what is the purpose? But

  281. you see, it's when the darkness is dark that

  282. then the light begins to shine. Do you get what

  283. I mean? It's nighttime that comes into day. And

  284. I believe that there are many dreams and promises

  285. that have gone through that nighttime. But then

  286. if we hold fast and do not give up, the light

  287. will break through. And it's very easy to get

  288. distracted by the darkness, but we need to get

  289. focused on the light that will break through.

  290. If we turn all the lights off in here, it will

  291. be dark because there's not much natural light.

  292. It will be pitch black. Now the instinct won't

  293. be, ushers, get rid of this darkness. The instinct

  294. will be, hit the lights. And if it's still not

  295. enough light, the instinct will be, find more

  296. lights. Increase the number of lights. And so

  297. when we live in a dark place, yes, we do need

  298. to have that spiritual discernment that can discern

  299. the darkness that's about us. But if we get so

  300. caught up in the darkness and we forget the light

  301. that will break forth, I think we get overwhelmed.

  302. And I believe that God wants you to begin to

  303. focus on the light that will break forth. There

  304. is a light that's going to break forth. And as

  305. we do what's right, as we do fast, as we do see

  306. those chains break, as we do give into born needy.

  307. You see, July the 4th is not just doing the cute

  308. thing to be in church. Actually, it's spiritual

  309. activity. How many of you know that? It is actually

  310. light going forth. Every time you give something

  311. away, whatever is of faith. Be it unto you. I

  312. mean, if you're just chucking stuff away, then

  313. that's all you're doing. You're chucking stuff

  314. away. But if you give with faith, you're putting

  315. spiritual things. You know, every candy you give

  316. out, give it with faith. Sow it as seed. If you're

  317. just chucking it out the bucket, that's all you're

  318. doing. But come on, we can do more than that

  319. because then the light's going to break forth.

  320. We put a spiritual and a practical dimension

  321. to everything we do. Then it has power to break

  322. darkness in Jesus' name. Light shines forth.

  323. Then your light will shine forth as the dawn

  324. and your healing will quickly appear. I really

  325. do believe that there is a power for healing

  326. to break through. Even last year when we just

  327. prophesied and began to command life and babies

  328. to be born, we saw a breakout of healing. And

  329. I believe that's the first. I'd say the next

  330. one is cancer. This year, that's what I had in

  331. me. I thought, now it's time to hit the cancer.

  332. It's time to hit the C button. That cancer word

  333. has become such a curse. We just hear, you know,

  334. in fact, some people will only call it the C

  335. word because we've almost become superstitious

  336. about it. But we've got to break that yoke of

  337. cancer. We've got to see that healing will quickly

  338. appear and we've got to put our foot on it and

  339. not run away from it. We've got to step in, not

  340. step away. And we've got to see that our God

  341. is well able to break that wretched curse of

  342. cancer. And then your righteousness will go before

  343. you. And the glory of the Lord will be your rear

  344. guard. Then, then, then. What are all the thens

  345. about? Because you're positioning yourself with

  346. right attitudes, which we spoke about last night.

  347. But righteousness, what is righteousness? Again,

  348. we make it such a religious word. Your righteousness

  349. will go before you. Then the glory can come behind

  350. you. So what is the righteousness? Well, the

  351. righteousness is a right standing, a right positioning

  352. in the presence of God. It is a consistency,

  353. I believe, of walking your life out right. And

  354. sometimes righteousness is not not doing things.

  355. It is making a positive decision to do things.

  356. Do you get what I mean? And if you go back, righteousness

  357. is the absence of sin. So what is sin? Sin is

  358. not just a religious word. Sin was used, if you

  359. go back to the everyday Hebrews and Greek sort

  360. of classic communities, all those thousands of

  361. years ago, before the Bible was written, every

  362. word that's in our Bible was used every day.

  363. Do you get what I'm saying? And so it's a bit

  364. like computers today, we know. Well, the sin

  365. word was not just used in church. The sin word

  366. was an everyday word, and it was used mainly

  367. in two dimensions. The word sin was used by accountants.

  368. It was used as an accounting word, and it literally

  369. meant to go into the red, really. Every time

  370. you went into the red, your bank manager would

  371. say to you, excuse me, Pastor Ron, your account

  372. has just sinned. You know, you've gone negative.

  373. And so anytime you are negative, you are in sin.

  374. So I'm not going to ask you how many of you are

  375. sinners today. But you see, it was an everyday

  376. accounting word. It meant anytime you go into

  377. debit, anytime you go beneath the nought line,

  378. anytime you are in debt. That's why it calls

  379. about, he breaks the debt and releases you from

  380. the debtor in older translations. How many have

  381. read that? Because you see, the sin word just

  382. meant to go into the red, to be below the line.

  383. So that was the first thing. And that is most

  384. probably the interpretation of sin we're more

  385. familiar with. I came up negative. I didn't do

  386. so well. I've got a demerit rather than a credit.

  387. I missed the mark. You know, I'm not very good.

  388. The other. definition of sin is what I've just

  389. said, to miss the mark. And it was actually used

  390. every day as an archery word. And so if you're

  391. into bows and arrows, then maybe we take today's

  392. sort of picture of me more darts, you know, a

  393. dartboard and darts. And so if you would state,

  394. I'm going to hit a bullseye and you take back

  395. your dart and you throw it. And instead of a

  396. bullseye, you hit a double 20. You have just

  397. sinned. That dart has sinned because it missed

  398. the mark for which it was destined. And so whenever

  399. an archer pulled an arrow and shot the arrow,

  400. the cry would come back, sinned or hit. And you

  401. see, so many of us, our lives are sinning because

  402. we're not really letting our life be thrust by

  403. the flight feathers of the Spirit of God. We're

  404. not hitting the bullseye of the destiny that

  405. God's called us to. And so if we want our righteousness

  406. to appear, we've got to be right standing in

  407. the presence of God in both dimensions without

  408. sin. And so the sin is dealing with the negative

  409. and the debit. We've got to deal with everything

  410. when we know we're coming below the line, below

  411. the par. But also we've got to deal with everything

  412. where we're not doing totally what we know we're

  413. made to do. Then you see our righteousness will

  414. go up in front of us. And we've got to deal with

  415. everything that withholds from that real cry

  416. and purpose of God. And if you want your righteousness

  417. to go up in front of you, then you find something

  418. else comes behind you. And the rear guard is

  419. going to be the glory of God. Isn't that amazing?

  420. So you see, if you step out on that perfect path

  421. of righteousness, isn't that Psalm 23? I think

  422. I taught that. And he, you know, he'll make paths

  423. of... righteousness for his name's sake. And

  424. so every one of you have got a path of righteousness.

  425. It's not just the path that's absence for sin,

  426. but it's a path that leads you to perfectly fulfill

  427. the destiny of who you are. So that when you

  428. step into heaven, God the Father can look at

  429. you and say, wow, well done, my son. You have

  430. lived every dimension. Your bullseye, you hit

  431. the mark. Do you get what I'm saying? And so

  432. you see, there is a righteousness that is different.

  433. Of course, there's the basic things don't sin,

  434. the 10 commandments, thou shalt not. And if we

  435. live with those things, then we're in sin. But

  436. there's other areas. How many of you know that

  437. something for you is a sin and for something

  438. for someone else isn't a sin? You see, that's

  439. how it works because every single one of us are

  440. uniquely destined and planned. And if I want

  441. to hit the bullseye of God, for me at that time,

  442. God might be saying no chocolate, or God might

  443. be saying no TV, or God might be saying no this,

  444. this, this. And that becomes a sin for me because

  445. it's a distraction from the bullseye of God for

  446. me at that time and season of my life. And how

  447. many of you know that at other times, you know

  448. you're perfectly free to do it? So there's no

  449. rules, but there are principles where we walk

  450. hearing the sound of God so that we are always

  451. hitting the bullseye. Then our righteousness

  452. leads us. And when we're walking like that, something

  453. else is following us. The rear guard of his glory.

  454. Because guess what? God always blesses what he

  455. orders. And so when we are walking in the perfect

  456. alignment of the will of God, God can't help

  457. but be the presence behind you. Again, Psalm

  458. 23. Even though I walk through the valley of

  459. the shadow of death, I fear no evil for thou

  460. art with me and your rod and staff, they comfort

  461. me. You see, how many of you know you've got

  462. to walk into death situations? You've got to

  463. walk into some ugly places. Maybe your marriage

  464. feels ugly. Maybe there's family relationships

  465. that are just not the best. Maybe your work situation

  466. is just fretful. And you've got to walk, not

  467. away, you've got to walk through. Because you

  468. know that this is your time and place for this

  469. season. God hasn't always promised that the bullseye

  470. of God always is in nice places. For even Jesus,

  471. he saw the cross, but he knew that was his bullseye.

  472. And so he says, I fixed my eyes for the joy that

  473. was set before me because I knew I had to hit

  474. it. And so even though I walk through, not walk

  475. away, walk through the valley of the shadow of

  476. death, I fear no evil. For right in the middle

  477. of this... Conflict zone. You have set a table

  478. in the presence of all my enemies and opposition.

  479. And you walk through that season of opposition

  480. and you say, surely what? Goodness is now following

  481. me and mercy. Because you changed an atmosphere.

  482. Do you get what I'm saying? You just changed

  483. the atmosphere. You walked into a valley of death,

  484. but you've left behind you goodness and mercy.

  485. And this is exactly what Isaiah 58 is saying.

  486. Come on church, get a revelation. As you begin

  487. to break the chains of justice and oppression,

  488. as you begin to practically minister to the practical

  489. needs of the hungry, poor and needy, then light

  490. begins to break and the glory of the Lord rises

  491. upon you. Healing begins to come forth. And as

  492. you are rightly designated to the perfect, destiny

  493. and function of your life then a whole new level

  494. of the glory of God is going to be your rear

  495. guard and everywhere you walk out suddenly God

  496. is behind all you do and so when you walk out

  497. of a place people are just going to see the presence

  498. of the manifest glory of God residing and hanging

  499. where you've just been And I believe that that

  500. is the atmospheric change that God wants to bring

  501. in these days. And then it says, And the Lord

  502. will answer. You will cry for help and he will

  503. say, here I am. And so the breakthrough is happening

  504. at both dimensions. It's happening vertically

  505. towards God. Suddenly heaven draws nearer, earth

  506. draws nearer. And you just know that when you

  507. begin praying, suddenly breakthrough is happening.

  508. But when you're speaking, you're also seeing

  509. healings happening, light into the dark places,

  510. the glory and the presence of God in places which

  511. had just been conflicting and difficult. So you

  512. get the vertical. And the horizontal breakthrough.

  513. And then what's so fascinating is you can feel

  514. Isaiah's back on the roll. Now the glory is going

  515. to come through, etc. And then he goes, oh, oh,

  516. if, if. Can you see? This is such a transition.

  517. So we come back to verse 9. But if you do away

  518. with the yoke of oppression. If you do away with

  519. the pointing finger and malicious talk. If you

  520. spend yourself on behalf of the hungry. If you

  521. satisfy the needs of the oppressed. Then you're

  522. light. So twice in this chapter, he's like, you

  523. could feel the prophetic urgency wanting to say,

  524. come on, Northwest, it's breakthrough. But if,

  525. if, if, oh, it's breakthrough. Oh, no, I've still

  526. got to underline. If, if, if, if. If you do away

  527. with the yoke of oppression. So I looked at this

  528. yoke of oppression. And interestingly, it's different.

  529. from the set the oppressed free at the end of

  530. verse 6. There, setting the oppressed free is

  531. much more about demonic atmospheres. It's the

  532. oppressive atmospheres. But this yoke of oppression,

  533. when you look at it and look at other translations,

  534. it's to do with the oppression that we as people

  535. exert over others. It's mainly the yoke of oppression.

  536. Let me just read here. This is not the enemy's

  537. oppressive spirit, but this is the oppressive

  538. atmosphere felt by injustice. And it literally

  539. is unreasonable expectation of authority and

  540. powers that can bring abuse or difficulty. And

  541. so God's saying, I want to give you such a breakthrough

  542. of glory and breakthrough, but you must get off

  543. that yoke of oppression. Because how many know,

  544. if we want to be those that carry the signs and

  545. wonders of God, if that power goes to our head,

  546. we are dangerous people. And so it's like the

  547. prophet says, oh, God wants to put such glory

  548. on, but you must deal with every yoke of oppression.

  549. We must deal with leadership that begins to lord

  550. over rather than serve. And we must make sure

  551. that our authority doesn't become abusive, but

  552. rather serving. And you need to do away with

  553. the yoke of oppressive leadership or oppressive

  554. government. It's got much more that sound. It's

  555. that sort of yoke. It's the picture of the slave

  556. drivers, the masters, you know, where we just

  557. master people and say, you will do it. I'm the

  558. boss. And all of us have been in those environments

  559. where suddenly when the breakthrough of God comes,

  560. we begin to think the power belongs to us. It

  561. says you've got to deal with that attitude and

  562. that propensity or that sort of weakness that

  563. goes towards. As soon as power comes, we want

  564. to own it. We've got to deal with it. And then

  565. the other thing it says, you've got to do away

  566. with the pointing finger and the malicious talking.

  567. And how many of you know, when God begins to

  568. move, how many have discovered he usually doesn't

  569. do it our way? And usually he does it the way

  570. you hate most. You watch God move and you think,

  571. well, I could handle it as long as it's not like

  572. that. And I love the way God makes sure it is

  573. like that. And so you see, as this glory begins

  574. to break full, as this light of the dawn begins

  575. to break full, again the prophet says, now, whoa,

  576. whoa, whoa. You must deal with these ifs if you

  577. really want to see the full acceleration. And

  578. God spoke to me a while ago and he said this.

  579. He said, gossip. And I've forgotten the other

  580. one. Are luxuries that the church cannot afford.

  581. Competition. Luxury. The spirit of gossip and

  582. competition are luxuries that the church can

  583. no longer afford. That's quite profound. I didn't

  584. think of it. That's what I can say. Gossip and

  585. competition are luxuries that the church can

  586. no longer afford. And all of us, if we're honest,

  587. how many of you know you've got a pointing finger

  588. inside you? There are times you watch something

  589. and you could go, that, I'm not sure I like.

  590. And every time that pointing finger comes out,

  591. we've got to really deal with that cynicism,

  592. that nasty thing. Because how many know, yes,

  593. the tongue, Proverbs 18, verse 21, has the power

    Proverbs 18:21

  594. of life or death. And how many of us want to

  595. kill the move of God? We don't want it. But you

  596. see, what a responsibility that that pointing

  597. figure and malicious talking has the power of

  598. death and destruction. Do you agree with me?

  599. And so the prophets begin to say, now come on,

  600. if, if, if, you must do away. These are luxuries

  601. the church can't afford. But you see, in our

  602. environment, in our humanistic, secular way of

  603. thinking, we're constantly told we have the right

  604. to think and give our opinion. You know, the

  605. Bible doesn't agree. The Bible actually doesn't

  606. agree that we have a right to our opinions and

  607. ways of thinking. The Bible says, no, my ways

  608. are never going to be your ways. My thoughts

  609. are above your thoughts. Get used to it and get

  610. in line. And so are we really going to see this

  611. breakthrough? We've got to deal with that, almost

  612. our education of the first world that just says,

  613. well, excuse me. If you will do away with a pointing

  614. finger in the malicious talk. And then there's

  615. the other if comes back. If you will satisfy,

  616. spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and

  617. satisfy the needs of oppressed. Don't you find

  618. it interesting how all the time the spiritual

  619. and very practical, spiritual and very practical,

  620. if, if, if, if. And then we come right back round

  621. in a circle. Then your light will rise in the

  622. darkness. And your night will become like the

  623. noonday. You've accelerated from dawn now to

  624. the breakthrough of noonday. And I just feel

  625. that God is wrestling with the Northwest. Come

  626. on, Northwest, you can do bigger. I've got such

  627. a destiny for you to break through. I've got

  628. such a purpose of breakthrough anointing, such

  629. a desire to see the light of the glory of God,

  630. of healing signs and wonders. But we really need

  631. to do with some of the attitudes of the ifs,

  632. ifs, ifs. And how many know it's a price we've

  633. got to pay. We've really got to let God deal.

  634. with that. And then it goes into verse 11. It

  635. says, for the Lord will guide you always. He

  636. will satisfy your needs in a sun -scorched land.

  637. He will strengthen your frame. You will be like

  638. a well -watered garden, like a spring whose waters

  639. never fail. I remember as I've traveled into

  640. the Northwest, nearly everyone says, well, this

  641. is the graveyard. This is a place where it's

  642. hard to do church, really hard to get the flow

  643. of the Spirit. It's hard to really feel the water

  644. consistently. You feel it in your head. It's

  645. difficult. It's at your face. But you see, if,

  646. if, if, if, if we can tick certain boxes, then,

  647. then, then, then, then, then, then. Then we will

  648. actually be in a place where we can just know

  649. the guidance of God. Isn't that amazing? Verse

  650. 11, guidance. So many people say, just tell me

  651. what to do. Rachel, you're a prophet. What should

  652. I do? No, I believe that there's going to be

  653. such a breakthrough of the heavens that we will

  654. know because God will be speaking so clearly.

  655. He will guide you. You will absolutely know you're

  656. in the right place at the right time and what

  657. to do. You will know the ear of God and know

  658. his voice in your ear. He will strengthen your

  659. frame. That's healing. Again, the healing thing.

  660. He will provide for you. He'll satisfy your needs

  661. in a Sanskrit provision. That even when other

  662. people are going through economic hardship and

  663. stuff is going up and down and the stock market's

  664. not doing well, he will satisfy your needs. He

  665. will strengthen your frame. And he will give

  666. you spiritual life. You will be a well -watered

  667. garden. Because he promises that to you. But

  668. he says, come on. Because I want to give you

  669. all the blessings, all most of us. I feel that

  670. sense of it's time. Let me break through. Let

  671. me do this for you. It's time of breakthrough.

  672. But will you tick the ifs? Then he will tick

  673. the thens. And he will come to you. It's time

  674. to break through. I want to just come. I've had

  675. some prophetic stuff. I want to pray for you,

  676. Aaron. I asked what your name was. So can you

  677. just come? All weekend I've seen you worshipping.

  678. And so I asked Pastor Brad, I said, what's the

  679. name of that young man? He said, it's Aaron.

  680. I just want you to know that wasn't word of knowledge.

  681. That was word of asking. But I didn't ask anything

  682. else. And I just felt it's a whole new season

  683. for you to know that your God is with you. I

  684. almost saw you all weekend. There's such a passion

  685. inside you to be released. But there's also like

  686. you've gone through a season where you felt there's

  687. also like a dam where you think, well, I don't

  688. know where to let it go. And it's like this conflict

  689. of passions inside, but opportunities of almost

  690. restriction. You've sort of been vacillating

  691. inside. God, which way? How? Where? And I just

  692. feel that God says there's a deep, deep well

  693. in you. Deep, deep well in you. And sometimes

  694. you've looked at that deep well and you said,

  695. but I want it to be a river. I want to go almost

  696. like White River with surfing. I want some activity.

  697. I want it to be a little bit more. But he says,

  698. no, I've been digging a deep, deep well in you.

  699. And he's taken you deep before he takes you wide.

  700. And I just feel that he says, just be at peace

  701. in your soul. Don't worry that it's just seemed

  702. to be very narrow. And he thought, but I just

  703. feel restricted. But God says, no, no, no, I've

  704. taken you deep, deep, deep, deep, deep. But I'm

  705. going to stretch you wide. And I believe there

  706. is a call to nations in you. And there is a call

  707. to touch the West. Touching the east. The east

  708. touching the west. And even the north touching

  709. the south. And the south touching the north.

  710. And you've said, but how does it all work? And

  711. even financially. And I just can't see how it

  712. all works. And you've sat at different times

  713. at night. And I just felt that God just says

  714. to you, you know what? You've served me faithfully.

  715. And it's almost like I saw an electrical switchboard,

  716. you know, where you've got all the fuse boxes

  717. and how different lights have to go on. You have

  718. to go flick the switches. And I just feel that

  719. the Holy Spirit's standing at this fuse box of

  720. your life. And at this time, it's only certain

  721. rooms feel lit, but he's just going to suddenly

  722. flick switches and it literally is going to be.

  723. that there will be alignments that come and suddenly,

  724. oh, this week's end, flick, flick, flick, flick,

  725. flick. And the lights are going to come on to

  726. release you to do what's really in your heart

  727. to do. But God just says, you've been faithful

  728. and you've been a faithful servant. And I will

  729. open the doors of that teaching. I believe there's

  730. a real teacher trainer from the deep well. And

  731. he will bless you. And he will satisfy you in

  732. the sun scorched down. And you've often felt,

  733. well, it's just got dry and it's got a bit hard.

  734. And I'm not sure, but I'm just going to stand

  735. and be faithful. I'll be standing and be faithful.

  736. And standing and be faithful. And standing and

  737. be faithful. And God says, and in a moment, that

  738. which has gone deep will stretch wide. And the

  739. eagle wings. We'll see the nations. So Father,

  740. I bless for the nations. I bless for the nations.

  741. I bless for the nations. I feel also you've really

  742. wondered, well, how much should I do practically?

  743. And how much should I do for the ministry? Because

  744. you've always thought, well, maybe it's a ministry.

  745. Maybe I should just get a job. Maybe I should

  746. train this and that. And I just feel that God

  747. says, no, just keep getting every gift and calling

  748. to go deep. And there is just practical, natural

  749. training. He wants to skill your hands in the

  750. natural workplace. And he will then equip you

  751. in the ministry place. But this is that season.

  752. It's a mixture season. And you've sort of, you've

  753. vacillated. Well, this doesn't look so spiritual.

  754. But I just feel God says to you, no, just dig

  755. in there. Dig it deep and do it well. And he

  756. will stretch the ministry to you later. But I

  757. feel it is a practical season of just putting

  758. your feet under the desk and table and all that

  759. sort of stuff. And you thought, but why? And

  760. I just feel God's going to put all these bits

  761. together later as he flicks the switchboard.

  762. And it will make sense. But it's actually a season

  763. of quite frustrating sort of normal for you.

  764. But God says it's not a waste of time. This is

  765. an investment to take you deep. to stretch you

  766. wide so that you can carry all that I've got

  767. for you in the years ahead. Because I'm going

  768. to make you a pillar that's a load bearer. And

  769. he loves you, Aaron. You're very, very precious.

  770. Maybe a couple of you men could just come and

  771. just pray over him. Very, very precious. Very,

  772. very precious. Blessed, blessed, blessed. Bless,

  773. bless, bless, bless, bless. We thank you Father

  774. for Aaron. Thank you Father for Aaron. So for

  775. the rest of us, why don't we just stand in the

  776. presence of God. And if you know this morning

  777. that there are some ifs that need to get right

  778. so that the then of God can come forth. Maybe

  779. you know in your life you've made some bad choices.

  780. Maybe you know that sin. You just know you've

  781. made bad choices and you're not living on the

  782. cutting edge of what God's called you to be.

  783. And so this morning you need to say, Jesus, I'm

  784. sorry. I want to change. the destiny direction

  785. of my life. I need you in my life. Because the

  786. only thing that can help you really hit the bullseye

  787. of God is the water and the breath of his spirit.

  788. That's what carries you to hit the mark. And

  789. so if you're not leaning upon God and you're

  790. trying to make it on your own, you usually end

  791. up in the wrong place. But God's here and he

  792. doesn't want you to live a life of sin. He wants

  793. you to live a life of satisfaction. And maybe

  794. you just feel in your life, I just never seem

  795. to hit it. It always goes wrong. Well, I know

  796. a man, his name is Jesus. He can let you live

  797. with the satisfaction of a life that hits the

  798. mark. And if you're here this morning and you

  799. know, I'm just missing it. I just feel I'm missing

  800. it. And there's something in you that's saying,

  801. oh God, I just want to know that you're with

  802. me. Then I just ask you to put your hand right

  803. up to heaven, wherever you are right now. And

  804. I want to pray for you. You know that God bless

  805. you, bless you. All around this place. God bless

  806. you, bless you. I want to pray with you. And

  807. so as you put your hands to heaven, Father, right

  808. now in Jesus' name, I pray. That every one of

  809. these lives will be like an arrow that hits the

  810. mark. And this morning we pray that they will

  811. make the right choice to know that their life

  812. has hit the mark. I would just like to invite

  813. those of you who've got your hands up and you

  814. just know that there's an area that God's just

  815. showing you. We're a safe house here. We're not

  816. going to embarrass you. But if you could just

  817. come down the front and pray with me, that would

  818. be great. I'd just love to pray for you down

  819. the front. You just know God spoke to you this

  820. morning and you're just saying, you know what?

  821. I want to make sure that my life hits the mark.

  822. Wherever you are, you know what God said to you.

  823. Just come. If you want to come with a friend,

  824. just come with them. Just walk down together.

  825. That's fine. You don't have to come alone. Just

  826. turn to someone and say, you know, I would like

  827. someone to pray for me this morning. Just come.

  828. Just come. We'd love that opportunity. And then

  829. the prayer team, if you could just come. Men

  830. with men, women with women. And just begin to

  831. agree in prayer with them that their life will

  832. hit the target of God. That every sense of dissatisfaction,

  833. loneliness, that they will know, just as you

  834. put your hand on them, they will know the hand

  835. of God come upon their life and satisfy them.

  836. If you can stand around the front of them and

  837. just look at their face, let them know. that

  838. you're representative Jesus. Find out their names

  839. and just pray with them so that they know God

  840. is with them today. And do just come. And for
