  1. Would you do a big favor for me? Would you give

  2. a Life Bible welcome to our friend, Dr. Jan Venters?

  3. He comes and shares the Word of the Lord. Thank

  4. you, Pastor. Love you, man. Thank you. Thank

  5. you. Thank you. You may be seated. I appreciate

  6. that so much. If you will stop there at the table

  7. and buy us out so we don't have to carry that

  8. back. You know, on the airplane, I would appreciate

  9. it. There's not too many left over there. And

  10. if you want to, let me sign your book. It becomes

  11. more valuable. Glory to God. I always enjoy the

  12. second service a little better because, you know,

  13. you're not so rushed for time. But I'm not going

  14. to keep you longer than what it takes. And so...

  15. I shared over this weekend with people that,

  16. and if you were here, I basically talked on Wednesday

  17. night and connecting it again on last night about

  18. seasons. God, and it just so happened when they

  19. asked me to talk about that, I'm busy writing

  20. a book on seasons. God has you guys at the moment.

  21. The pastor has been teaching. You know about

  22. seasons. Obviously it's not as good as mine.

  23. But. I'm kidding. The. No I'm not. Seasons is

  24. something you have to understand. Because that's

  25. the way God works. God doesn't work with time.

  26. Now he can. any time he wants to and create a

  27. kairos moment. That means a created moment and

  28. work with us at that time. But basically God

  29. works with us on seasons. And so one of the problems

  30. with people is, you know, when the season becomes,

  31. when you come in season, it's creating what we

  32. call a window of opportunity. And oftentimes

  33. many churches miss revival because they miss

  34. that window of opportunity. And so they have

  35. to go through the whole cycle again. And so many

  36. people are continuously just on the same old

  37. cycle over and over because they don't position

  38. themselves for revival. And so I was telling

  39. the people, you know, over the weekend that your

  40. time for a new dimension has arrived. you are

  41. at the verge of going to another dimension. You

  42. know, I look, when I close my eyes, I actually

  43. see a very large congregation of people who are

  44. living out destiny and touching the world and

  45. the nation. There's no reason. You know, why

  46. this cannot be so. In fact, it is going to be

  47. so. Many prophecies have been spoken to you and

  48. given to you over time. And on last night's service,

  49. Pastor Brad gave a prophecy here which I thought

  50. was just profound. You know, when it's a prophecy,

  51. that's God speaking to the people. When it's

  52. tongues, it's us speaking to God. And so that

  53. was God speaking to... the congregation and it

  54. was just phenomenal now you heard uh you know

  55. the two men that spoke here before the service

  56. brother charlie and anthony and they they were

  57. not in the service this morning so once again

  58. it underscores what i feel that god is saying

  59. and wanting to say here this weekend and you

  60. must not miss it During the intercessors' prayer

  61. meeting, without them knowing what I was going

  62. to talk about, a variety of them got up and shared

  63. the word that they had gotten said that God is

  64. going to use this weekend and these services

  65. to bring us into a new place. This, in fact,

  66. was referred to as going to become a pivotal

  67. moment. It's got nothing to do with me or, you

  68. know, how good I am, as good as I am. You know,

  69. people sometimes don't understand my humor, but

  70. that's just me. It has nothing to do with me.

  71. It has to do with, you know, I'm just like them,

  72. a mouthpiece in the hand of God to just deliver

  73. a message. And so when Pastor asked me to bring...

  74. To tell him, I think this is the fifth or the

  75. sixth year that I'm here, and he's never, as

  76. far as I can remember, asked me what the theme

  77. was going to be. And it just so happened that

  78. that morning when the request came through to

  79. let me know, let him know what the theme was

  80. going to be, I was busy dealing at that moment

  81. with what I'm sharing with you here this weekend.

  82. And that morning... I was at the seventh mile

  83. with the men on the way to Emmaus. And so I told

  84. him, I said, well, you know, I believe it's going

  85. to have something to do with the seventh mile.

  86. And I'll make that plain here shortly, hopefully.

  87. Now, having said that, you must understand that

  88. when we minister as people, we minister, you

  89. come and... preach a sermon, preach and evangelism

  90. comes from the same word. It means when you preach,

  91. you deliver the gospel. And when you deliver

  92. the gospel, the gospel is believed. You share

  93. the gospel and people are drawn towards the kingdom.

  94. And repentance takes place in all those things.

  95. Now, when you teach, teach is the same word as

  96. doctrine. When you share teaching, teaching is

  97. designed by God to form a basis, to develop you,

  98. to establish you, to bring you to a place where

  99. a connection can take place regarding your future.

  100. And I told the people also in the first service

  101. that, you know, when you talk and teach about

  102. Christ, Christ is, there's something that happens

  103. in the Bible. Let me see my water there. Thank

  104. you very much. Oh, thank you. I didn't want the

  105. one that he drank on. There's a concept in the

  106. Bible, it's called like as. You will be like

  107. as a tree. You're not a tree, but it's likened

  108. unto a tree. His messengers are like stars. We

  109. call it metaphors. The metaphors in the Bible

  110. plays a very important role when you want to

  111. understand destiny. And so he connects us to

  112. these metaphors. Whenever you speak about Christ,

  113. Christ is like a rock. When you speak of Christ,

  114. he is the rock. Of our salvation. Upon Christ

  115. the solid rock I stand. And so it's very important

  116. that you understand that when you teach Christ.

  117. You teach foundational principles. When you teach

  118. the Holy Spirit. He is like as water. That's

  119. why Charlie's word of encouragement and prophecy

  120. here this morning was so profound. Because he

  121. was talking about the river flowing, water. You

  122. understand? And so that I know you are established

  123. on Christ. But what God is trying to get you

  124. to connect to will be the flowing of the water.

  125. Now, having said that, the problem with many

  126. churches nationwide is, where really nothing

  127. is happening, is they have dammed up the water.

  128. Try and just make it as comfortable as they can,

  129. putting picnic tables out there and, you know,

  130. people can just come and just have fun. But that's

  131. not the way God works. When God works... I'm

  132. telling you, it happens sometimes so fast you

  133. have to struggle to keep your balance. You know,

  134. he takes you into the rapids. It's a river that

  135. flows and it takes things in their way, you know,

  136. things in its way. It takes it out of the way.

  137. And so God is wanting to take this church to

  138. another level. But last night I shared with the

  139. church that I believe that you are not seeing.

  140. Where God has you at the moment. You're not,

  141. you're totally disconnected or in that sense

  142. disconnected from really what God is wanting

  143. you to start seeing. You've got to think big.

  144. You have to think big because God has got a big

  145. plan for this little town. And so what I share

  146. with you this morning and this weekend, I feel

  147. myself sharing with you as a father, as a spiritual

  148. father. And to bring you, that doesn't mean that,

  149. you know, there's something wrong with you. Yeah,

  150. it really means that too. But, you know, when

  151. we're not connecting with God's plan, then, you

  152. know, he'll send people, you know, your way.

  153. Prophets, teachers, evangelists. come and just

  154. shake you a little bit. Especially when he brings

  155. somebody in that's got a Texas accent, and so

  156. you listen a little better, you know, because

  157. his accent is a little different. Now, you know,

  158. I'm trying to just quickly, I don't want to waste

  159. your time and use your time, but it's important,

  160. you know, when you preach over a weekend and

  161. you have three different congregations to preach

  162. to, it's hard to... make sure that they don't

  163. miss out what you said because the first message

  164. really connects with the next one. And so what

  165. I'm sharing with you here today is if we don't

  166. let go of our own pain, that's what we talked

  167. about last night, we don't disconnect with your

  168. own pain or your own discouragement or whatever,

  169. you will not recognize what God is trying to

  170. do. Amen? So, here's the thing. Take your Bibles

  171. and go to John 1 before we go to Luke 24. John

    John 1 chapter mention

  172. chapter 1. Go there quickly. You know, before

  173. we read, just look at me and let me just make

  174. this statement. Very important to display excitement.

  175. This world is filled with so much disappointment

  176. and troubles, heartache, problems. Turn the news

  177. on and all you hear is... Obama's health plan.

  178. I'm so sick of that thing. And bad news. And

  179. so on. When we come to church. We have to display.

  180. Everybody say display. Display his glory. Look

  181. what happened this morning. When the Holy Spirit.

  182. Was let loose on that. Guitar player. I mean

  183. a man. Don't know how to play guitar. But man

  184. when the Holy Spirit took over. You know. When

  185. the Holy Spirit takes over. It goes to another

  186. level. Say another level. Because when. What

  187. you have. You connected with God. It becomes

  188. incredible. And phenomenal. And so. What. The

  189. church have done is they have lost, and I want

  190. to teach you just on this principle quickly,

  191. the church and you have to be careful that we

  192. don't forget the value of stirring up our most

  193. holy emotions. That's scriptural. So we have

  194. to stir up our most holy emotions. To do that,

  195. It comes from, you remember we're talking about

  196. water. It comes from inside and it flows out.

  197. Say, go like this. Say, it goes from inside and

  198. it flows out. See, it comes from our mouth. Psalms

  199. 118 says, the goodness of the Lord must be spoken.

  200. He says, let the house of Aaron say. The Lord

  201. is good and his mercy endureth forever. Say,

  202. it's got to come out. This morning when I spoke

  203. about that, another lady took another translation

  204. and she says, it must be repeated. That's another

  205. translation. Repeat. And so when a word comes

  206. out, don't nod your head. There, you see, it

  207. flows out. And when it flows out into the atmosphere,

  208. it builds excitement. The angels are saying one

  209. to another, holy, holy, holy. And what happens

  210. is it fills the atmosphere with the repetition

  211. of the truth. And so when something is said here

  212. and you like it, you know, amen it. And somebody

  213. dares to clap hands, join them. I mean, fill

  214. the air with excitement. By the way, give the

  215. Lord a good hand clap of praise. Isn't that wonderful?

  216. Do it again. I forgot to join you. Glory to God.

  217. Now shout also. Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory

  218. to God. Oh, wow. See, we're not going to damn

  219. up this thing. We're going to ask God, Lord,

  220. break this damn problem. You know, the problem

  221. with the dam, just break it, you know. And so,

  222. let the river flow. Say, let the river flow.

  223. Say it again, let the river flow. Now, in John

    John 1 chapter mention

  224. chapter 1, I'm not going to preach this, but

  225. I want to connect it. And so, they're bringing

  226. to Jesus different men that's going to join in

  227. the ministry. And so one of the men that they're

  228. bringing is Nathaniel. Okay, and so we start

  229. reading there, verse 47. Are you there? Say aye.

  230. So Jesus saw Nathaniel coming towards him and

  231. said concerning him, See, here's an Israelite

  232. indeed, in whom there's no guile. That means...

  233. nor deceit, nor falsehood, nor duplicity. I'm

  234. reading the Amplified, so if it sounds a little

  235. loud, it's the Amplified. And so, Nathaniel said

  236. to Jesus, how do you know me? Jesus said to him,

  237. before Philip called you, when you were still

  238. under the fig tree, I saw you. And Nathanael

  239. answered, teacher, you are the son of God. You

  240. are the king of Israel. See, he formed a doctrinal

  241. opinion. And I'll show you that this morning.

  242. But Jesus replied, because I said to you, I saw

  243. you beneath a fig tree, is that why you believe

  244. in me? He says, from here on, and this is my

  245. prophetic encouragement for you, from here on.

  246. Everybody say, from here on. You are going to

  247. see greater things. Then in verse 51. He said

  248. to him. I assure you. Most solemnly. I tell you

  249. all. You will now see heaven opened. And the

  250. angels of God ascending and descending. Upon

  251. the Son of Man, but I want to read it like this.

  252. And I say unto you, saith the Lord, that most

  253. solemnly I confirm you will see heaven opened

  254. and the angels of God ascending and descending

  255. upon life Bible church. Oh, come on, just give

  256. him a great praise offering, will you? Hallelujah.

  257. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on, hallelujah.

  258. Come on, praise him. Glory to God. Hallelujah.

  259. Now turn in your Bibles, please, to Luke chapter

    Luke 24 chapter mention

  260. 24. Luke 24. Put your hand on your heart and

  261. ask God to speak to you through revelation. Heavenly

  262. Father, I come to you as your child, your servant.

  263. Lord, it's such a wonderful privilege to be able

  264. to minister on your behalf to your people. And

  265. I realize that our words can make or break. And

  266. I ask, O Lord, that you would grant that something

  267. phenomenal. Will happen not only here in the

  268. service. But from this day on. To change what

  269. lies ahead. For us to connect to. Help me not

  270. to speak no more or no less. Than what you want

  271. me to in Jesus name. We thank you Father. Amen.

  272. What a great feeling to feel heaven opened. Come

  273. on you've been there. You know what I'm talking

  274. about. Help me fill the atmosphere with amens.

  275. Yes. You know it's a great feeling to just. And

  276. all of a sudden, whoa, God starts moving up and

  277. down. Angels start ministering and so on. And

  278. for you to fulfill what God wants for you, it's

  279. going to take a jump. It needs a leap forward

  280. to another place. I've been now with you long

  281. enough to where I know that, you know, some of

  282. you are goods and you're bads and the ugly. Amen.

  283. You know, believe me, you're not as bad as what

  284. pastor says you are. Now, honestly, that's a

  285. joke. But we do have, I looked at you and you've

  286. been just a typical congregation, you know, where

  287. they complain about things and, you know, murmur.

  288. And, you know, that's just pretty normal. If

  289. you want to go where God wants to connect you,

  290. you have to now learn to just follow where he

  291. leads you. Stop complaining. Stop murmuring.

  292. Look at somebody next to you. Help me preach

  293. and say this to them. Go ahead. Look at somebody.

  294. Make eye contact. Say, you've got to stop being

  295. so pitiful. Amen. So, because if the prophetic

  296. utterances that have come to you through the

  297. years, and this weekend is true, and they are.

  298. Everybody say they are. You have to embrace His

  299. plan. Say, God, open up the heavens. Because

  300. we don't want to, I don't know about you, but

  301. I'm not satisfied with just having church. Anybody

  302. can just have church. And you know, anybody can

  303. have good musicians and entertain us. We don't

  304. need entertainment. We need to reach Oregon.

  305. And if you want to reach Oregon, we want to reach

  306. Eugene. We want to reach the areas around us.

  307. It is not by coincidence that God had brought

  308. this church here and now expanding it. You know.

  309. It's really, I mean, it's just a marvel that

  310. God brought in among you, your ministry team.

  311. And I know you're going to have to just absolutely

  312. tolerate Ron. Glory to God. So here this morning

  313. in Luke chapter 24, we pick it up in verse 13.

    Luke 24 chapter mention

  314. This is after the crucifixion. If you missed

  315. last night, please get the tape. I'm not going

  316. to have time to go there. After the crucifixion,

  317. two of them were going away from their destiny.

  318. They were walking and moving away from Jerusalem.

  319. Going back to Emmaus. That's happening to us

  320. all the time where we just miss God. And so in

  321. verse 13, two of them went that same day to a

  322. village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem

  323. about three score furlongs. That means seven

  324. miles. And so when they are now on their journey,

  325. Jesus joined with them. And as they, in verse

  326. 15, communed together and reasoned. Well, church

  327. people are known to do that. And they reasoned,

  328. Jesus himself drew near and went with them, but

  329. their eyes were holding that they could not recognize

  330. him. And so when Jesus asked them, you know the

  331. story when Jesus asked them, you know, why is

  332. your countenance so sad? You know, what is this

  333. talk that you're talking? And so they started

  334. telling him and they were quite amazed. Anyone

  335. here in this area that doesn't know what had

  336. just happened here most recently about the man

  337. that is called Jesus. And I'm paraphrasing now.

  338. I just want to put it within the words of my

  339. context where they're saying, we really expected

  340. him to be the one that would overthrow the rule

  341. of Rome. Doesn't say that on those pages, but

  342. you have to read between and then have to go

  343. look at some of their questions before. Everyone

  344. really was hoping to get someone to give them

  345. some relief from Obama. Or Bush. And boy, how

  346. wrong they had it. Yes? You know, I'm so amazed

  347. at how through the times of man, man have missed

  348. God. Boy, we've missed God several times. You

  349. only have to go back to the times, the life and

  350. times of Israel to see how many times they've

  351. missed God. I mean, there were times when they

  352. even formed and created for themselves a golden

  353. calf. And then they thought it was right. Atmosphere?

  354. Yes? They thought it was right. That's one of

  355. the problems is when you're so blind and you

  356. don't know you're blind. You are wrong and you

  357. don't know you're wrong. You connect with something

  358. that is a mile, 10 miles, 100 miles away from

  359. God, but you don't know it. If you know that

  360. you're doing, you're on the wrong path, it's

  361. different. You can change and make alteration

  362. and then connect. But you understand, with God,

  363. God has to literally come and show you you're

  364. wrong. They've missed it in the past. I'm so

  365. concerned that the church is missing God right

  366. now where we are. I'm talking about the overall

  367. church. They're totally missing God. They've

  368. missed God before. So here at this critical junction

  369. in the life and times of the United States, I'm

  370. so afraid to say that the church is absolutely

  371. missing God. They have created for themselves

  372. an environment of comfort, and they think God

  373. is right there. But God is water that flows,

  374. becomes a river, and we just need to get in the

  375. river. Yes? And so what is going on is we're

  376. talking about missing God. You know, they missed

  377. God when Jesus came in the first place. They

  378. crucified him. And here we are, you know, I love

  379. talking and debating with your pastor. He's a

  380. debater. And just now and again, don't tell him

  381. I said this, but now and again, I just let him

  382. win. Just so that our relationship stays good

  383. and my offering is fair. But you look at what

  384. goes on in the church. It is clear man is missing

  385. God so far. The church is not what they're supposed

  386. to be. The world don't trust us. Our young people

  387. are running away from God. They don't want what

  388. is being offered because it's filled with so

  389. much hypocrisy. They come to church to find God

  390. and they find everything but God. They find programs.

  391. They find people's ideas and doctrines and so

  392. on. But the living Christ is not being found.

  393. And so what is happening here is God is calling

  394. out. Every now and again God calls out a people.

  395. And he offers them the key. If you'll take this

  396. key. I'll give you the keys to the kingdom. And

  397. so what God is doing, I'm convinced what God

  398. is doing here in Harrisburg, in this area, is

  399. God is offering you something exceptional. But

  400. you have to embrace it. And you have to ask God,

  401. please, show us where we are blind. And reveal

  402. it to us. And so here they are, you know, they're

  403. walking. And Jesus himself joins him with them

  404. and their eyes are holding. They cannot see him.

  405. And they don't know that here is the one. But

  406. they don't see it because, number one, they looked

  407. at the one at their situation through eyes of

  408. pain. They looked at, oh man, the events that

  409. took place a few days before was more than horrible.

  410. I don't think we could even begin to comprehend

  411. what went on through their minds when they saw

  412. him hanging on that cross. And literally his

  413. bones disconnecting. Going out of joint. His

  414. muscles tearing and causing pain. And blood to

  415. form pockets underneath his arms. And him crying

  416. out. My God why has thou forsaken me? And they're

  417. there. They have put their hope on him. That

  418. he would deliver Israel. And then. The horror

  419. of stepping down and taking Christ down and holding

  420. him in their arms. Lifeless. And it's all over.

  421. It was all one big lie. We don't know. I mean,

  422. we've heard this preached through the years about

  423. this and that. And now we're wrong. It's like

  424. the rapture. Somebody go. I mean, they edged

  425. it, edged it, edged it right to, right to. And

  426. I don't want to mess with your theology, but

  427. they edged it right here to the beginning of

  428. the millennium. Millennium was, ooh, Lord, it's

  429. going to happen any moment now. I mean, it's

  430. just incredible. And then they stretched it a

  431. little bit further. You know, just a little bit

  432. further. And now we are here on the seventh mile.

  433. Fourteen years into the seventh mile. wonder,

  434. my God, can you help us through this dilemma?

  435. And so, that's for another time. So Jesus was

  436. listening to them, all this. And then in verse

  437. 27, are you there still? Beginning at Moses.

  438. But actually, let's back up to verse 35. Then

  439. beginning at Moses, it's 1245 now, Pastor. More

  440. or less, what time are you normally? How little?

  441. Okay, I'm going to just take you as close as

  442. I can to two. And verse 25, he said to them,

  443. O fools and slow of heart, slow of heart. Everybody

  444. say slow of heart. To believe all that the prophets

  445. have spoken. Then he goes on, ought not Christ

  446. to have suffered these things and to enter into

  447. his glory. And then beginning at Moses and all

  448. the prophets. He expounded unto them in all the

  449. scriptures the things concerning himself. And

  450. then when they drew nigh unto the village, he

  451. pretended like he was going to go on. They said,

  452. please stay with us. And then in verse 30, it

  453. came to pass as he sat at meat with them, he

  454. took bread and blessed it and break it and gave

  455. it to them. And then their eyes were opened.

  456. Why don't you just say this this morning? Say,

  457. God, please open my eyes. Do it again. Say, Lord,

  458. please just open my eyes. Wow. Let me just get

  459. there quickly. See, here's the thing. When we

  460. look at these men on the way to Emmaus, you must

  461. understand, we're talking about missing God.

  462. People have ever missed God would be then because,

  463. I mean, they knew him. Yes? It's like you. You

  464. know him. And yet we can miss him. And you look

  465. at them, you know, they knew him in his authority.

  466. They knew him with his voice. They knew him with

  467. his message. And here, they're walking, and even

  468. though he's taking them back, they still don't

  469. get it. He's trying to tell them, but they don't

  470. get it. Here's the problem. You preach to people

  471. all the time. You preach something here on Sunday

  472. and on Monday. And during the week, you have

  473. to counsel people on the very thing you preached

  474. on Sunday. Because it just seems like they just

  475. don't get it. And you've got to ask God, please

  476. Lord, let me get it. So what was happening is

  477. they didn't understand him. They didn't recognize

  478. him. Because number one, as I said, they were

  479. looking at the situation through their own pain

  480. and their own misery. And then number two, the

  481. reason they missed him is because they looked

  482. at him through their own doctrinal persuasions.

  483. I mean, if you want to walk with God, you have

  484. to ask God, Lord, please enlarge my tent. Enlarge

  485. the border of my habitation. Lord, let me not

  486. be locked into this small environment of what

  487. we believe in an open Bible church. A life Bible.

  488. Life Bible church. Because If I'm right, and

  489. I normally am, I believe God is going to take

  490. you to a place where the heavens are going to

  491. open. Come on, feel the atmosphere. Oh, come

  492. on, clap hands for Jesus. And so, You know, if

  493. these things have a connection with us, surely

  494. you should ask God. Because what is happening,

  495. what is lying ahead for you guys here right now,

  496. is not just moving into a very nice facility,

  497. as nice as it is. God has a plan. And all you

  498. have to do is you have to ask God, please help

  499. us to connect with the plan. And it's going to

  500. be a phenomenal thing. You know, I don't think

  501. it's by coincidence that God has given you that

  502. school. I mean, that hotel. Because I need a

  503. place to stay from now on. God has a great plan.

  504. But as they walked, I mean, here's Jesus sharing

  505. with them. He's taking them back to the time

  506. of Moses and the prophets. And he says, what

  507. happened with Moses really was everything to

  508. do with me. So before you can go on, you have

  509. to go back. You have to understand that what

  510. happened in the past has bearing on the future.

  511. And so he took him back to Moses. Now, you know,

  512. if I was going to talk to you about Moses, you

  513. know, Moses, then, you know, possibly it would

  514. be nice to just say, I'm going to tell you a

  515. story. About baby Moses. In a little basket.

  516. I saw a picture of it in a book one time. I think

  517. that's what Jesus said. No. He took them back.

  518. Because here they are. They're missing God because

  519. of their pain. Their misery. They thought that.

  520. Their plan died at Calvary. So now he says, I

  521. want to take you back to Moses. And I want to

  522. show you Moses, really, his dealings was really

  523. with me. And so here's what he says about Moses.

  524. Moses being out of his wits with a people that

  525. are so stiff -necked and hard -hearted. And they

  526. keep on complaining and murmuring. Oh, the music

  527. is too long and it's too short. And it's too

  528. loud and it's too soft. And the people that plays

  529. on the piano is just, you know, this way and

  530. that way. And too much makeup and too little

  531. makeup. And, you know, shoes too high and shoes

  532. too low. And, you know. And it's like the Holy

  533. Spirit wants to say, how dumb can you be and

  534. then still breathe? We're so opinionated. And

  535. he says, hey, listen, guys, you think this was

  536. bad. You just don't understand the Christ. You

  537. don't understand who he is. If you could just

  538. understand. Tell us who he is. It's going to

  539. change your entire perspective. Because Moses,

  540. when he was so frustrated, he said, God, will

  541. you please show me your ways? That's the answer.

  542. Find out what is God's ways. Kenny. Because,

  543. you know, God brings people in like this and

  544. he has a reason for doing all of this. And what

  545. is happening in your life, it's not Satan that's

  546. in charge. You are the workmanship of Christ.

  547. And he wants to bring you to a place where you

  548. can finally embrace the open heavens and see

  549. the activity of God in the heavenlies for this

  550. church. Come on, give him a praise offering.

  551. And how God took Moses and brought him and said

  552. to him, come up to the mountain early in the

  553. morning. There I will speak to you and show you

  554. my glory. And so he said, when you come up, make

  555. sure it's just you. See, when you want to hear

  556. what God has to say. Jenny, that's why your quiet

  557. time in the morning is so important. She's up

  558. early in the morning. He sleeps until 10 o 'clock

  559. in the morning, but she's up early in the morning.

  560. And so that's where God speaks to you. It's early

  561. in the morning. And that's where he helps you

  562. to disconnect with pain. Pain will always be

  563. there. Suffering is your choice. And so he goes

  564. up and he says as he climbs up, God placed him

  565. on a rock. Because when you want to get a revelation

  566. about the dealings with God, you cannot be unstable.

  567. You cannot stand on slippery places. You've got

  568. to get to a place where it's solid. You have

  569. solid ground because God now wants to show you

  570. great and marvelous things. Because we are known

  571. as a church, you know, that we are limited. We

  572. find ourselves limited because of our own environment

  573. concerning the things of God. But he wants to

  574. show you things that eye has not seen, ear has

  575. not heard, neither has it entered in the mind

  576. of man. Come on, give him a praise offering.

  577. And so there, he puts Moses in a rock, in a cleft

  578. of a rock, and puts his hand in front of him.

  579. Because he said, Moses, you cannot see my face,

  580. but I want you to know my ways. You cannot see

  581. my face because you'll die. And then God said,

  582. I'm keeping you covered while I pass by you with

  583. all my goodness. The Lord is good. Say, the Lord

  584. is good. Come on, don't forget that. Say the

  585. Lord is good. Let the house of Israel say the

  586. Lord is good. Let the house of Aaron say. Let

  587. the house of Brad say. You understand, don't

  588. forget that. Don't focus on your pain. Don't

  589. focus on your doctrine. Not when you want revelation.

  590. And so he passed by with all his goodness. And

  591. then. When his goodness was all past, he opened

  592. up his eyes so that he could see the hinder part

  593. of God. The hinder part. It wasn't just like,

  594. you know, I heard a preacher once preach and

  595. said, well, you know, just, it was like a comet

  596. that passed by and all this big glory. And then

  597. at the end, just the very tail end, God showed

  598. him that, no, no, no, no, that's not what it

  599. was. God let him see the hind apart with other

  600. words. What is behind everything that God is

  601. doing today? You've got to go back in order to

  602. go forward. He's showing him his hind apart.

  603. That which is behind it all. God took him back.

  604. I want to submit to you that God took Moses back,

  605. back. Everybody say back, back. You know, go

  606. back, back, back. Just so that you can understand.

  607. Moses, you're complaining about a few complainers.

  608. But I want to take you back. Show you my hind

  609. part, back. Everybody say back. Back to the very

  610. first man. Adam. And then back behind that. To

  611. where Lucifer and all his cohorts were slain.

  612. I mean fallen down. And then back to the pre

  613. -Adamite world. And then back. Back to where

  614. nothing was. Just. Can you see Moses standing

  615. there in pitch darkness? I see nothing. Because

  616. all there was when there was nothing was God.

  617. See, God was before all things. And all you could

  618. hear is just His breathing. The breath of God.

  619. And Moses standing there just enveloped in all

  620. this revelation of who it is that I'm dealing

  621. with. And then God's voice taking him from the

  622. very hinder part. Now moving him back to where

  623. his destiny will be unfolded. And here he can

  624. see the creation of all things. And he starts

  625. to hear angels singing. And angels declaring

  626. the holiness of God. And then being brought forward.

  627. And there amongst all things. To hear the voice

  628. of God suddenly. When there's nothing else. And

  629. silent a hush had fallen over the angelic group.

  630. All of a sudden the voice of the creator. That

  631. speaks and says. Let there be light. He's saying

  632. to Moses, that was me. He's saying to the man

  633. on the way to Emmaus, that was me. You're concerned

  634. about what happened here the last three days.

  635. You think that puny death will stop me. You have

  636. no idea who you're dealing with. You have absolutely

  637. no idea what is going to happen. Come on, just

  638. praise him. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Wow. And

  639. so because we're out of time, I'm going to have

  640. to skip here again. But, you know, he's taking

  641. him step by step through creation and then possibly

  642. into the heavens. So that he could see the tabernacles

  643. of God in heaven. And God says to him. Go down.

  644. And go and put up a tabernacle like mine. But

  645. in a small form. So that it could be said the

  646. tabernacle of God is now with men. And put it

  647. up, Moses, in three dimensions. And that tabernacle,

  648. if I had some time here today, I'd go into the

  649. tabernacle with you and show you really the entire

  650. tabernacle was Calvary. Taking him step by step

  651. through the tabernacle, three dimensions, out

  652. of court, holy place, holy of holiness. That's

  653. where you have to understand I want you to be.

  654. I want you to be in a place. I want you to come

  655. to a place, Nathaniel, where the heavens are

  656. opened. You're dwelling in the first dimension

  657. where the blood and guts were spilled. And I

  658. go to churches and all I see is blood and guts.

  659. All they want to have you preach is repentance

  660. over and over. You know, I always use the first

  661. dimension of the tabernacle as a... I use the

  662. analogy, excuse me, I hope you're not offended

  663. by this. If you are, just build a bridge and

  664. get over it. It's the toilet area. That's where

  665. we get rid of stuff. Before we move in. You've

  666. got to get rid of stuff. A lot of people want

  667. to just live in the toilet area. My son, my youngest

  668. son, when he was little, man, he had a strange

  669. attraction to toilets. We're going to the nicest

  670. restaurant, Jenny. And first thing he wants to

  671. do is go and visit the toilet. I mean, I'd say,

  672. Eugene, look at the menu. His healing came when

  673. we were in an airplane one time flying to Germany.

  674. And the first thing he wanted to do is, is there

  675. a toilet here, Dad? And I said, yeah. But this

  676. is an old airplane. The toilets are outside.

  677. He said, I'm not going to go there. Look at the

  678. person next to you and say, it's time to go to

  679. the next level. Okay, let me close by saying

  680. this. Are you getting it so far? Are you with

  681. me? Just to understand God is a phenomenal privilege

  682. that he gives us. But he is saying to you and

  683. I clearly, stop getting hung up on issues. Look

  684. at the Messiah. Move with God through revelation.

  685. He wants to take you far. Yes? So he says to

  686. the men on the way to Emmaus, when they get to

  687. the end of the seventh mile, say, the end of

  688. the seventh mile. They still don't get it. When

  689. he tells them these things that I had just related

  690. to you and much more, they still didn't get it.

  691. And he says, The Bible says that he pretended

  692. like he was going to go on. And he goes like

  693. this. You know, I am sure he goes like, you know.

  694. Okay, guys, I'm going to see you. You know, maybe

  695. they'll see the hole in his hand. I'm going.

  696. I'm going to go on. And they still don't see

  697. it. Can you imagine how blind we can be? And

  698. they said, oh, no, please, come in with us here.

  699. So they go in. And they go. And I told the people

  700. in the first service, you know, sometimes you

  701. just have to invite a stranger in. Maybe I preach

  702. stuff that you don't know. There's churches I

  703. go to, and they're so ignorant concerning the

  704. things of God. I had a man one time, a preacher,

  705. ask me, should we fall when you pray for us?

  706. You know, they ask me sometimes, you know, are

  707. you pushing them over? See, it's the ways of

  708. God. Pastor Brad, I went to a church one time,

  709. my first service, first time I'm ever there,

  710. and I arrived late. Something happened with the

  711. traffic and I arrived late, Kenny. Now, you're

  712. a prophet, you know what I'm talking about. And

  713. so when I... When I. Are you a prophet? Say it.

  714. Yeah. So when I get there. God gives me 17 names.

  715. To call out. I call out 17 names. And. Tell them

  716. what is wrong with them. 17 different people.

  717. It just so happened. That the pastor had. On

  718. his. Laptop. Those 17 names. People that have

  719. called in for help. And he put it on a prayer

  720. list. To, you know, just pray for the people.

  721. And so I call out those 17 people. And the pastor

  722. up until today believes that somehow or another

  723. my team hacked into his computer. Never had me

  724. back there. I don't even know how to hack. I

  725. don't know what hack means. I don't know where

  726. hack happens. But you see, these things happen

  727. when people don't understand God. And so Jesus,

  728. because you understand, we know God because we

  729. heard of him in the Bible school. Or in the Sunday

  730. school. Or you've read it in the Bible. But listen,

  731. you still don't know him. You've got to know

  732. his ways. Come on, give God a praise offering.

  733. And I end with this, and I say this. You know,

  734. when they sat down, Jesus, the Bible says. Took

  735. the bread. Say he took the bread. And then he

  736. blessed it. Say it. And then he broke it. And

  737. then he gave it. Say it with me again. He took

  738. it. And their eyes were opened. Say it again.

  739. He took it. Blessed it. Broke it. Gave it. And

  740. their eyes were opened. Once you become acquainted

  741. to the ways of God, he always works the same

  742. way. That's the way he worked with Moses. He

  743. took Moses. I've got to hurry. He took Moses.

  744. Remember, he talked to them about Moses. So he

  745. took Moses from his mother, and then he blessed

  746. him, took him to Pharaoh's house. He became second

  747. in charge, rode on the chariots with Pharaoh.

  748. And then God broke him. God absolutely depleted

  749. him of him. And then he gave him to Israel. See,

  750. it's the ways of God. Isn't that what he did

  751. with Joseph? He took Joseph from among his 12,

  752. 11 other brothers. And then he blessed him. Man,

  753. he became the favorite of his father. Then God

  754. broke him. Into the pit. Then into prison. Broke

  755. him until he was just no more of himself. And

  756. then God gave him to Israel as the deliverer

  757. of Israel. Isn't that what he did with David?

  758. He took David from following the sheep. And tending

  759. the sheep. And then he blessed him. I mean he

  760. killed the bear. Killed the lion. Killed the

  761. giant. And then went into the king's palace.

  762. Was even given the king's daughter. And then

  763. God. Say it louder. He broke him. I mean when

  764. God broke him. It's almost too hard to read.

  765. When you follow the life of David. And when he

  766. was done. In Ziklag. The Bible says he cried.

  767. Until he had no more tears left to cry. And then

  768. God gave him. And God has taken this little church,

  769. taken you from different places. I mean, you

  770. know, it's just amazing how you all came together.

  771. And then God really blessed you. Broke you when

  772. he gave you this pastor, but blessed you. Honestly,

  773. God blessed you. And then God took you through

  774. a season. This last couple of, you should have

  775. been, you know, on all practical purposes, you

  776. should have already been in your fourth service,

  777. you know, I mean, jam -packed full, stuff like

  778. that. But instead, you lost people. People started

  779. leaving. They don't understand the plan of God.

  780. And here we are. Play for me, please. Here we

  781. are. God is about to give you. Look past the

  782. building. The building is just a tool. Come on,

  783. fill the atmosphere with some amens. The buildings,

  784. yeah. You know, when I joke about the things

  785. about your pastor, they really are just jokes.

  786. God has given you a wonderful team here. Come

  787. on. The only good thing that can happen over

  788. and above that is if I can join the team too.

  789. I'm kidding. How many of you would like to see

  790. me join the team here? How many of you will be

  791. okay with it if they offer me a salary of 10

  792. ,000 a month? He will lose much more hair. What

  793. am I saying? You are here. It's time. Everybody

  794. say it's time. Look past yourself. Look past

  795. your problems. Look past the things that are

  796. going on and have been going on. Lock in with

  797. God. He's got a time and a future for you and

  798. a purpose. This next few months, in fact, the

  799. next two years, it's going to be phenomenal.

  800. But you're not through the breaking experience

  801. yet. And when you get to the place where God

  802. can finally use you, you will finally get to

  803. a place where you realize it's all God. It's

  804. not us. It's all God. Stand on your feet. Raise

  805. your hands towards God. Say, it's all God. You

  806. know, as you stand there this morning, I don't

  807. know how many of you, I feel most of you, can

  808. connect with this message that God has brought

  809. to you this weekend. And what you need to do

  810. is connect at the highest level of relationship.

  811. That means it becomes a blood connection with

  812. this church. God needs this family to be closer

  813. to each other than ever before. Because of what

  814. is going to happen. Come on, can I hear an amen?

  815. Yeah, go ahead. Clap hands. need to do right

  816. now is i'm going to ask you right there where

  817. you stand to disconnect from what you thought

  818. the enemy is doing whether it be pain emotional

  819. pain physical tonight we're going to have a healing

  820. service and god is going to heal many people

  821. but here this morning i want you to disconnect

  822. from disappointments the past Everything that

  823. happened in the past. Disconnect from it. Connect

  824. with him who walks with us. Come on, can I hear

  825. an amen? Because you have to know him in the

  826. power of his resurrection. That's what Paul said,

  827. that I may know him in the power of his resurrection.

  828. So, will you take your two hands like this and

  829. put them on your bosom. Like this. And what I

  830. want you to do is I want you to do this in the

  831. spirit. That means you're going to have to use

  832. your most intense imagination. And grab pain.

  833. Grab disappointment. Because all those things

  834. have happened to you for a reason. Come on, can

  853. with me corporately. Say Holy Spirit. Here it

  854. is. You know my heart. You know my pain. I don't
