  1. back to your seats. We're going to go to the

  2. word of the Lord. What a great moment in God

  3. to hear God speak to some people about their

  4. future. Can you give the Lord another hand? He's

  5. awesome. Should we bring this down here? Oh,

  6. you want it up? Okay. Hallelujah. You know, it's

  7. wonderful to be able to have men of God that

  8. are And so for those of you that have been here

  9. a while and walked with me and Life Bible, you

  10. know Pastor Bob and you know Pastor Danny, that

  11. they operate not just in the prophetic, but that

  12. there is a prophet mantle that rests over the

  13. years. And you can tell. I had no idea how accurate

  14. those words are. Amazing. God bless you. Let's

  15. welcome Pastor Danny as he comes and teaches

  16. us tonight. Come on, give him a big hand. Welcome

  17. the man of God. Thank you. Love you. Praise God.

  18. Praise the Lord. What an awesome honor to be

  19. back. Amen. Thank you for having me back and

  20. I bring you greetings from my dear wife. who

  21. is home. She could not make this trip as well.

  22. I was hoping that she would be with me, but through

  23. the trips that we've made, she grew ill from

  24. her body, and we felt best for her to get some

  25. rest. So I didn't book her flight so she could

  26. come here. I wanted her to rest for the last

  27. few trips, and it's been so. She's recovering

  28. well, sends her love this way, and just recently

  29. had a great miracle. And we could tell she was

  30. depleted. Our back was giving her problems. And

  31. as we entered into this time of her being still

  32. and resting, she got hit with a bell palsy. For

  33. some of you who might know what that is, it's

  34. a paralysis of the face where just your face

  35. gets contorted. It can last six months. It could

  36. last even more than that. And it takes a while

  37. to heal. Well, the other day we anointed her

  38. and she felt... very strong to accompany me on

  39. one trip. And when we got to the city, the pastor

  40. who was there told me about this story about

  41. an anointing oil that came from a Bible that

  42. just started literally dripping oil. It's one

  43. of those marks and signs that we can't explain,

  44. but who happened? The supernatural happens. And

  45. so they... picked the oil up, they put it in

  46. a bowl, it dripped into a bowl, and it was enough

  47. to fill enough flasks of oil. And when we got

  48. there with my wife, we were able to anoint her.

  49. I personally anointed her with that oil. And

  50. as I swiped my hand over her eye, which was very

  51. twisted and could not close and drippy for almost

  52. two weeks already, and then to her mouth that

  53. was contorted, as I went down her face, I saw

  54. her healed right before my eyes. Her face come

  55. into place. The elders were watching. All the

  56. pastor there was watching. And we just were amazed

  57. at the Holy Spirit healing. He could do that

  58. without the oil, but sometimes he just pleases

  59. to do things the way he wants to. And we just

  60. prayed and used that oil. Nathan, I sent you

  61. a picture. There's that Bible. They had to put

  62. it in a baggie because it just kept pouring oil

  63. out of it. Hello. This is not any kind of gimmick.

  64. This is just a regular Bible from one of my disciples

  65. who all of a sudden, he's an evangelist and now

  66. his Bible is actually flowing with oil. So he

  67. actually carries two Bibles, a dry one that he

  68. can preach from and this one that he can annoy

  69. people with. So what, can you give God a hand

  70. for supernatural things, signs and wonders? Amen.

  71. Well, we definitely not. Are not to follow signs

  72. and wonders, but signs and wonders are supposed

  73. to follow us. Can you say amen? If we believe

  74. in Christ. So we're believing the Lord for great

  75. things. And one of the great things that I'm

  76. here for this weekend is to talk to you about

  77. intercession. And we've titled it prophetic intercession.

  78. Prophetic intercession. And there is a scripture

  79. in Timothy. In Timothy, it reads this way. I

  80. urge you then, first of all, that petitions,

  81. prayer, intercession, and thanksgiving be made

  82. for all people. This is 1 Timothy 2, verse 1

    1 Timothy 2:1–4

  83. through 4. For kings and those in authority,

  84. that we may live peacefully and quiet lives in

  85. all godliness and holiness. This is good. and

  86. pleases God our Savior who wants all people to

  87. be saved and to come to the knowledge of truth.

  88. Come on. How many believe that God wants all

  89. people to be saved? How many can thank God for

  90. people that were reached today? Give the Lord

  91. another hand for souls reached in the midst of

  92. our worship. Amen. And prophetic intercession

  93. is to take a stand for someone else. It's to

  94. take a stand for someone else. or someone else,

  95. take up someone else's burden in prayer, standing

  96. in the gap for an individual, a church, a community,

  97. a city, or a nation. I believe that God wants

  98. to do this. I believe that God wants you and

  99. I to learn how to take a stand for somebody else.

  100. So many times we're concerned about ourselves

  101. that we forget that we are the salt of the earth.

  102. We forget that we are the light of this world

  103. and that somehow our prayer should affect the

  104. world. And though we are living in a day, There's

  105. too much feedback here. Can we correct that?

  106. Thank you. Though we're living in a day, is it

  107. too high? Is it me? Hello. Okay, we got rid of

  108. the bird. All right. Good. Though we're living

  109. in an age of change, it's the norm of our day,

  110. you and I are supposed to be stewards of change,

  111. affect change, bring change. And prayer is one

  112. of those ways. Intercessory prayer is one of

  113. those ways. And I believe prophetic intercession

  114. is divine intervention. I believe prophetic intercession

  115. is divine intervention. You and I can intervene

  116. in people's lives. You and I can actually come

  117. between them and the thing that... them and the

  118. very attack of the enemy, them and the sickness

  119. that is plaguing their lives. You and I can bring

  120. a change. In the last few months, my wife and

  121. I have been praying and though we are human and

  122. we grow sick in our bodies and we need prayer,

  123. just like I told you about the testimony of my

  124. wife, we've also watched healings and God used

  125. our ministry, our school of ministry, the prophetic

  126. school that we're taking around the world. We've

  127. trained about 7 ,000 people so far, and now through

  128. it, we've watched healings and miracles take

  129. place. In Brazil, we watched a lady that had

  130. cancer. She had been diagnosed with cancer in

  131. both of her breasts. As we laid hands upon her

  132. and prayed, laid hands on her head, she went

  133. down under the anointing of the Lord, and all

  134. of a sudden, her blouse began to fill up with

  135. fluid. Tumors just seeped out of her body and

  136. she was healed by the power of prayer. Amen.

  137. Can you give the Lord a hand for that miracle?

  138. Well, like that. We watched another lady who

  139. was in our fourth stage of cancer be brought

  140. to the church of my brother -in -law. I have

  141. a brother -in -law, my sister's brother, who

  142. we sent out some 22 years ago to pastor a church

  143. and raise a church. And they brought this lady

  144. with fourth degree cancer, fourth stage of cancer.

  145. Really, the doctor said they couldn't do anything

  146. else for her. She came to church her first time.

  147. We prayed for her and the cancer. It was God.

  148. God healed her. They could not find the cancer.

  149. She didn't even know what was happening, but

  150. we prayed in faith, and God caused that cancer

  151. to be eliminated from her body. And we believe

  152. that we can bring divine intervention. I believe

  153. that it starts in the smallest form, but it can

  154. increase, and your faith can increase to stand

  155. in the gap and believe God to intervene in situations,

  156. and God can use you. Would you look at your neighbor

  157. and say, God wants to use you? In divine intervention.

  158. That's right. I believe he wants you to stop

  159. the enemy's attack and onslaught on families.

  160. I believe you can stop the work of the enemy

  161. on families through intercessory prayer and through

  162. prayer that goes up before the Lord. When Timothy

  163. spoke about intercession, that it was good for

  164. us to make intercession, that word intercession

  165. in the Greek. Antioxis, it means it's an intercession

  166. prayer, falling in with it, meeting with an interviewer,

  167. coming together to visit, to converse for any

  168. other cause. It's to be able to make a petition

  169. and a supplication for another. what intercession

  170. is all about it's you standing in that place

  171. but then the old testament has a word for intercession

  172. and the old testament has a word and it's the

  173. word in the hebrew intercession is known in your

  174. old testament as the word paga paga and it's

  175. a primitive comes from a primitive root to pray

  176. to reach and even to run pray reach run and i

  177. believe those are all works it's to encounter

  178. to confront as one who makes war, to attack,

  179. I like that warfare language, to reach as to

  180. reach the mark, to entreat, to make intercession.

  181. And I believe that... As we believe in intercessory

  182. prayer and we talk about divine intervention,

  183. I believe that you're going to have to arm up

  184. because we're going to go to war with prophetic

  185. intercession. And we're going to believe God

  186. that God's going to use our prayers. And while

  187. praise and worship is about creating an atmosphere

  188. for the presence of the Lord to be made manifest

  189. among us, intercession is more than just something

  190. descending. It's us ascending. To the presence

  191. of God. It's us going up into the presence of

  192. God. Hearing what is going on in the presence

  193. of God. Let God speak to us. And then we pray

  194. knowing what the will of God is. Can you say

  195. amen? And we're going to talk about this. So

  196. I believe that God wants to do some great things.

  197. And he wants to do it through you and I. In Psalm

  198. 24, let me pull this scripture. It's one of the

  199. last scriptures in my slides, but if you can

  200. pull that, I want to introduce that right now.

  201. Psalm 24, verse 3 to 6. Listen to it. Who may

    Psalms 24:3–6

  202. ascend to the mountain of the Lord, and who may

  203. stand in his holy place? The one who has clean

  204. hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in

  205. an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive

  206. blessing from the Lord and vindication. from

  207. their God, their Savior. Such is the generation,

  208. such is the generation of those who seek him,

  209. who seek your face, God of Jacob. Another translation

  210. says, this is Jacob. That's quite a remarkable

  211. statement. Those who seek your face. There was

  212. something about Jacob. There was a persistent

  213. about Jacob of old. And while we've been taught

  214. he was a deceiver, I see him as a persister,

  215. somebody who persistently was going after God,

  216. was waiting for his blessing. How many remember

  217. when he wrestled with God? He did not let go

  218. until he got his blessing. Well... Prayer, intercessory

  219. prayer is all about persistent. It's all about

  220. insisting. It's all about going out. And we used

  221. to have an intercessory ministry in our church

  222. in New York City. We called it PUSH, the Ministry

  223. of PUSH. Pray until something happens. PUSH.

  224. Don't stop praying. You pray until something

  225. happens. You keep praying. You keep believing

  226. God. You keep going. You know, I'm reminded when

  227. I was a little boy. I wasn't growing up in a

  228. Christian home and I was full of mischief. And

  229. growing up in New York City in downtown, close

  230. to Delancey Street, where all the buildings were

  231. and businesses were together, living in a building

  232. close to a big furniture store that was only

  233. two buildings away from my building, I couldn't

  234. wait to have some time off to persecute the people

  235. in the business, furniture business. As a little

  236. boy, some of the things I would do, At the age

  237. of six or seven. And without my parents. We were

  238. with other kids in the community. And you leave

  239. kids alone. And they'll find trouble. And so

  240. we would ring the bell. Of this business. This

  241. furniture store. And we'd ring it and run. Ever

  242. had somebody ring your bell and run? Kids are

  243. famous for that. We would ring the bell and run.

  244. Ring the bell and run. And we'd watch. And when

  245. the person went back already from the door and

  246. sat down comfortable, we'd ring the bell again.

  247. And they would run out again. And one day I got

  248. caught. It was this huge man. He looked like

  249. God to me. He was huge. I didn't know anything

  250. about God, but this guy was big. And he pulled

  251. me into the store and gave me the scolding of

  252. my life. And then he actually met my parents.

  253. And that was the end of my ring bell. Ringing

  254. the bells in that store. But some of us in church

  255. are like that. We ring the bell and run. And

  256. don't wait for God to show up. I thank God for

  257. my grandchildren. When I come home from a long

  258. trip, I still have young grandchildren. My oldest

  259. is going to be 18 this Monday. Another one is

  260. going to be 16 this Monday, both born on my first

  261. birthday. That's when I'm flying out on Sunday

  262. night to celebrate Monday, our birthday together.

  263. But all the others go up to six of age, and all

  264. of them, I remember them, and they still do it.

  265. The younger ones do it. They want to see Grandpa

  266. after a long trip. They get to my door, and they

  267. ring and ring and ring. And I could be off in

  268. some other room and try to make my way, and they

  269. don't stop ringing until that door opens. Well,

  270. I believe that's intercessory prayer at its best.

  271. I believe that you... You and I have got to ring

  272. the bell. Somebody say, ring the bell. That's

  273. right. You and I need to ring the bell and stay

  274. there ringing that bell until something happens.

  275. Amen? You need to insist and you need to persist

  276. in seeing God do something on your behalf. God

  277. wants to work miracles on your behalf. But I

  278. believe that you and I need to also be able to

  279. ascend to the hill of God. Because intercessory

  280. prayer is about ascending into the presence of

  281. the Lord. It's about getting God's attention.

  282. It's about entering into that place of intimacy.

  283. with God through prayer where you can stand and

  284. you can with your whole heart into it and your

  285. whole soul you're praying it's not that prayer

  286. where people fall asleep when I first got saved

  287. I fell asleep well I didn't fall asleep but I

  288. was in a church and almost fell asleep because

  289. on Monday nights when they prayed they turned

  290. off the lights and dimmed the lights because

  291. somehow we got it in us humans that we have to

  292. turn the lights down to get spiritual And they

  293. turned the lights down and people started praying

  294. and because it was a church full of elderly people,

  295. they couldn't help it but fell asleep. But here

  296. I'm 17 years old, just got saved and I'm on fire.

  297. I got filled with the Holy Ghost and I want some

  298. action and people are snoring in the time of

  299. prayer. And they're snoring, falling asleep.

  300. Well, my whole task was to create a band of disciples

  301. that would change that church. And so I created

  302. a bunch of disciples, made sure they were filled

  303. with the Holy Ghost. And we said, let's pray

  304. in the Spirit. When we get to church, as soon

  305. as they turn the lights off, you're going to

  306. do this. They don't do it, but you're going to

  307. do it. When the lights go off, you pray in the

  308. Spirit. And pray loud. So they turned off the

  309. lights on the first day and we were all there.

  310. And now it was a crowd of young people that were

  311. saved because God was moving in a powerful way.

  312. And here we started praying in the spirit all

  313. at once. Soon the lights went off, that was our

  314. marker. And all of a sudden that elder ran back

  315. to the switch to turn the light off. As soon

  316. as he turned it on, we all looked like... None

  317. of us were in because we knew it was a very conservative

  318. church. They were going to throw us out. So as

  319. soon as he turned the lights down again, we would

  320. start praying in the Spirit again. And all night

  321. long, that went on for a number of weeks until

  322. one night, on a Monday night, the Spirit of God

  323. broke through as we ascended into the presence

  324. of God and there was no coming back. God showed

  325. up in that church and revival struck that church.

  326. It's never been the same again. Hallelujah. The

  327. church has grown and planted churches and has

  328. stepped away from the traditions of man that

  329. were making the word of God of no effect and

  330. have believed the word of God for the miraculous.

  331. So I'm believing, God, that prophetic intercession

  332. is about not just prayer. It's about, has a prophetic

  333. element to it where you can actually hear the

  334. voice of the Lord. The Lord can reveal things

  335. that are going to happen and you can intervene.

  336. Somebody say divine intervention. All right,

  337. the next scripture is, so it's to take a stand

  338. for someone else. That's what prophetic intercession

  339. is, to take a stand. It's to take up someone

  340. else's burden in prayer, standing in the gap

  341. for an individual, a church, community, a city,

  342. or a nation. The next slide, Luke chapter 22.

    Luke 22 chapter mention

  343. Luke chapter 22, verse 31 through 32. Simon,

    Luke 22:31–32

  344. stay on your toes. And I'm using the message

  345. translation to make this as simple as possible.

  346. Simon, stay on your toes. Satan has tried his

  347. best to separate all of you from me. This is

  348. Jesus speaking to Simon, to Peter. Like chaff

  349. from wheat, Simon, I've prayed for you in particular

  350. that you not give in or give out. When you have

  351. come through the time of testing, Turn to your

  352. companions and give them a fresh start. Come

  353. on. What an incredible word from the Lord Jesus

  354. Christ to Simon. That was intercessory prayer.

  355. I'm praying for you. I know what the enemy's

  356. up to, but I'm praying for you. You're going

  357. to go through the test. He didn't pray him out

  358. of the test. He prayed him through the test.

  359. Come on, somebody say when we come through. Some

  360. people want you to pray them out of the test.

  361. No, the test is going to make you grow. The test

  362. is going to shape your character. It's the dark

  363. places of your life that shape your character

  364. if you allow God to work in your life. How many

  365. have been shaped by some of the darkest moments

  366. in your life? How many have gained some wisdom,

  367. some authority? I love that word today coming

  368. to that young missionary. She's not going to

  369. make the same mistakes you made. There's something

  370. about mistakes and something that things that

  371. we go through that teach us wisdom so we can

  372. pass. and on. Amen? And that's what the Lord

  373. said. Give your friends a fresh start. When you

  374. get through it, you're going to have something

  375. to say to them. Can you say amen? So Jesus interceded.

  376. And then in Colossians chapter 4, verses 12 through

    Colossians 4:12–13

  377. 13, listen how Paul speaks about this prayer

  378. warrior for us. He says, who is one of you, a

  379. bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring

  380. fervently. Somebody say fervently. That speaks

  381. about passion. Always laboring fervently for

  382. you in prayers that you may stand perfect and

  383. complete in all the will of God. For I bear him

  384. witness that he has a great zeal for you and

  385. those who are in Laodicea and those in Hierapolis.

  386. This man was a man who prayed not just for believers.

  387. He prayed for cities and churches. He prayed

  388. for people. He was zealous. He had a passion.

  389. He was giving. He was fervently. He burned with

  390. this passion to pray. And there's people that

  391. God raises at the church. While all of us should

  392. give ourselves to prayer and praying for governments

  393. and praying for people and cities. And all of

  394. us should experience intercession. There are

  395. those that God anoints with a special anointing

  396. to stand in prayer. This man was a man who constantly

  397. went after prayer, praying to bring divine intervention

  398. to people's lives. He prayed for the churches.

  399. He prayed for people individually. And I believe

  400. that God's raising that kind of people today.

  401. I believe they're in this church. This is a praying

  402. church. Can you give the Lord a hand for a praying

  403. church? Hallelujah. Ezekiel chapter 22, listen

    Ezekiel 22 chapter mention

  404. to this. Ezekiel 22 verse 26 through 29 seems

    Ezekiel 22:26–29

  405. to be speaking about our day almost. As it reads,

  406. your priest violated my law and desecrated my

  407. holy things. They can't tell the difference between

  408. the sacred and the secular. They tell people

  409. there's no difference between right and wrong.

  410. Their contemptions of my holy Sabbaths profaning

  411. me by trying to pull me down to their level.

  412. Your politicians are like wolves prowling and

  413. killing and rapturously taking whatever they

  414. want. How many think that sounds a little familiar?

  415. Your preachers cover up for the politicians.

  416. By pretending to have received visions and special

  417. revelations, they say, this is what God, the

  418. master, says. When God hasn't said so much as

  419. one word, extortion is rife, robbery is epidemic,

  420. the poor and the needy are abused, outsiders

  421. are kicked around at will. No access to justice.

  422. No access to justice. How many think... That

  423. God's raising a people who do have access to

  424. justice. You and I have access by the blood of

  425. Jesus into the throne of God. We have access

  426. into the very presence of God. So there's no

  427. access. Then it goes on, verse 30 to 31. I look

  428. for someone to stand up for me against all of

  429. this. To repair the defenses of the city. To

  430. take a stand for me. And to stand in the gap.

  431. To protect this land. So I wouldn't have to destroy

  432. it. I couldn't find anyone. Not one. So I'll

  433. empty out my raft on them. Burned them to a crisp

  434. with my hot anger. Served them. With the consequences

  435. of all they've done. Decree of God. The master.

  436. What a tough word. He only looked. He was looking

  437. for one. At least one. He could not find one.

  438. I look for someone to stand up. Look at your

  439. neighbor and say, stand up. I look for someone

  440. to repair the defenses of the city. Somebody

  441. say, dare to repair the defenses of a city. Oh,

  442. I know you want politicians to do that, but it's

  443. the church's job to do it. We have... somehow

  444. given that to the politicians thinking that if

  445. they just legislate the right laws, everything

  446. will be all right. Well, the enemy is not a respecter

  447. of the laws of man. Though laws can be legislated,

  448. I believe that we need to stand in prayer for

  449. righteous men to rule and for the legislation

  450. of law. We cannot forget our place and our place

  451. of intercessory prayer that keeps nation. I believe

  452. that prayer can keep a city. Prayer can keep

  453. a family. Prayer can keep our children. How many

  454. believe that? How many believe that prayer can

  455. keep our nation? I think that the absence of

  456. prayer in our schools have brought on everything

  457. that we have going on in our schools. But we

  458. bring prayer back to its place and we're going

  459. to watch God do something in our city. Well,

  460. let's repair the defenses of the city to take

  461. a stand for me and stand in the gap to protect

  462. this land so I wouldn't have to destroy it. To

  463. take a stand, to stand up. For me against all

  464. this. And again he says to take a stand for me.

  465. Somebody say take a stand for the Lord. Take

  466. a stand for the Lord. Sometimes intercessory

  467. prayer. We think that it's taking a stand for

  468. somebody else. And though it is to stand in the

  469. gap. When you stand in the gap. You're actually

  470. taking a stand for the Lord. You're actually

  471. standing where the Lord wants you to stand. Where

  472. he would stand to make a difference. Can you

  473. say amen? So and I believe God wants to do this.

  474. Now we have a great example in Nehemiah. The

  475. Bible talks about Nehemiah, and Nehemiah had

  476. to stand up in his day. Let me move through this

  477. quickly, because this weekend we're going to

  478. spend time talking about intercessory prayer

  479. and the different avenues. This is a vast subject,

  480. but I'm here just as a forerunner of what's coming

  481. later to this church. I believe that God is going

  482. to take this church into deep realms of prayer,

  483. and things are going to begin to happen just

  484. like the Lord said. The glory of the Lord is

  485. going to show up in this place. Miracles, signs,

  486. and wonders will begin to happen. and all over

  487. the place. Can you say amen? But Nehemiah's example,

  488. as we go to the book of Nehemiah, we read, stand

  489. up for me. That's what God said. And Nehemiah,

  490. having heard of the destruction of Jerusalem,

  491. when he got news that the walls were down and

  492. the gates were burned, the spirit of intercession

  493. fell on him. He began to pray, separated himself

  494. with fasting and prayer. And then he took a stand.

  495. He took a stand by going in front of the king

  496. with the burden that he had. Now, in those days,

  497. to go before a king sad, it meant a death penalty.

  498. You would be put to death. It was not right to

  499. serve in the courts of a king with a sad face.

  500. You had to be joyful. But he took a stand. So

  501. the king asked me, why does your face look so

  502. sad? And when you are not ill, there's no illness.

  503. There's nothing wrong. What's going on? This

  504. can be nothing but sadness of heart. And then

  505. I was very much afraid. But I said to the king,

  506. may the king live forever. Why should my face

  507. not look sad when the city where my ancestors

  508. are buried lies in ruins and its gates have been

  509. destroyed by fire? He took on such a burden that

  510. he could not hide it. That's an intercessory

  511. burden. It isn't with you just the moment you

  512. pray. It's with you all day. You live with it.

  513. You wake up with it. You go to bed at night with

  514. it. Intercessory prayer is just different than

  515. just... praying occasionally. This is something

  516. that grabs you. It falls as a burden on your

  517. life. You can't get rid of it. You've got to

  518. continue to pray. The Holy Spirit comes on you

  519. to make you an intercessor. How many have ever

  520. had a burden come on you? You weren't even thinking

  521. about it. All of a sudden God drops a burden

  522. on you for somebody and you begin to pray for

  523. them and you can't get it out of your mind and

  524. you're thinking about calling them but you don't

  525. call them but somehow you can't stop praying

  526. for them until you call them and find out what's

  527. going on and pray effectively. Well, that's the

  528. intercessory prayer of the Holy Spirit training

  529. you to hear Him. He's trying to speak to you

  530. about how to pray and what to pray for and who

  531. to pray for and at what time to pray. Are you

  532. with me? So intercessory prayer is a burden that

  533. comes on you so that you can intervene. You can

  534. stand in the gap. And verse 10 says, when Sanballat,

  535. this is after he goes out there, when Sanballat

  536. and Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite official

  537. heard about this, they were very much disturbed

  538. that someone had come to promote the welfare

  539. of the Israelites. Somebody say someone. Someone

  540. had come to promote. He took his stand. It was

  541. him. It was this man, Nehemiah, took a stand

  542. and said, I'm going to do it. I'm gonna make

  543. this happen. I'm gonna take a stand for the city.

  544. I'm gonna take a stand. You've got to be able

  545. to do that. Listen, when Nehemiah, when we talk

  546. about Nehemiah as this example, number one is

  547. stand up for me. That's what it says. Number

  548. one is stand up for me. Nehemiah chapter two,

  549. verse 17 through 18. Then I said to them, you

  550. see the trouble we are in? He's talking to the

  551. people. Jerusalem lies in ruins and its gates

  552. have been burned with fire. Come and let us rebuild

  553. the wall of Jerusalem and we will no longer be

  554. in disgrace. I also told them about the gracious

  555. hand of my God on me and what the king had said

  556. to me. And they replied, let us start rebuilding.

  557. So they began this good work. Intercessory prayers

  558. about you deciding to go to work. It's about

  559. you deciding to take a stand. It's about you

  560. deciding to influence other people to stand with

  561. you and help rebuild the wall. And I think many

  562. of us, and I was just so glad to see the spirit

  563. of prayer in this church because I can tell that

  564. you have been engaging in intercessory prayer.

  565. And I believe you got here because of many intercessors

  566. and those who have prayed this church along through

  567. the years. Can you give those that have gone

  568. before you a big hand? Those who have been at

  569. the inception of this ministry. stood prayer,

  570. tears. They called on God. Thank God for them.

  571. They're to be honored and blessed. They stood

  572. in the gap. When you weren't even here, they

  573. were praying for your arrival. I watched people

  574. today as we entered. I entered this place. People

  575. early in here praying over the chairs and laying

  576. hands on the chairs so that visitors would come

  577. and experience. God in a special way. I believe

  578. God is answering that prayer. Come on, give the

  579. Lord another hand. He is answering the prayers

  580. that are going on in this church. So you're to

  581. take a stand. You're to stand up for it. And

  582. you're to influence other people. Take the stand

  583. so strong that other people, you can convince

  584. other people to stand with you and start rebuilding.

  585. Because it's all about repairing up. The defense.

  586. Number two is Nehemiah's example was to repair

  587. the defenses. That's what God said. Someone to

  588. repair the defenses. I'm looking for somebody

  589. that would repair the defenses of this city.

  590. That's what we read. Ezekiel 13 verse 5. You

    Ezekiel 13:5

  591. have not gone up into the gates. Neither made

  592. up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand

  593. in the battle in the day of the Lord. You did

  594. not. You have not gone up. You haven't. Build

  595. a hedge. You have not gone up. To build a hedge.

  596. To go up into the gaps. Into the gaps. That's

  597. the ministry of intercession. At it's best. It's

  598. when you can find your place. To stand. Those

  599. gaps. Where people are not even talking about

  600. it. Some people are looking at the end result.

  601. Not looking at the consequence. Or what caused

  602. that. The things that caused those results. And

  603. somebody's got to go into those gaps. Intercessors

  604. know how to make their way right there and pray

  605. with the will of God, with divine revelation

  606. about the cause of these things that are happening

  607. in our nation. The ministry of intercession will

  608. draw your enemy's attention. So when you enter

  609. the ministry of intercession, just like Nehemiah,

  610. it drew the attention of his enemies. If you're

  611. going to be part of intercessory ministry, some

  612. of you are already under attack. Get ready for

  613. more attack. That's a great word, pastor. Why

  614. did you bring him? In the middle of warfare,

  615. in the middle of attack, the enemy draws. Listen,

  616. why would the enemy care to mess with a church

  617. that's not being effective? But the moment the

  618. church steps into a place where she becomes effective,

  619. all hell will break loose against you. The moment

  620. you family decides, and all of you have experiences,

  621. the moment you decide to pray more, read your

  622. Bible more, the moment you decide to give more,

  623. the moment you decide to get more committed,

  624. all hell breaks loose. Anybody been there? It's

  625. just me. Come on. Somehow, the word gets out

  626. in hell, and every demon is released against

  627. you. But that's the time when God wants you to

  628. be able to understand that this is just part

  629. of the program. Come. Hello? Are you with me?

  630. Nehemiah 4, 7. But when Zimbala, Tobias, the

  631. Arabs, the Ammonites, and the people of Ashton

  632. heard the repairs of Jerusalem's wall had gone

  633. ahead and that gaps were being closed, they were

  634. very angry. Come on. We should intercede just

  635. to make the devil mad. Just to make him angry.

  636. I'm going to stand in the gap just to make you

  637. angry. That's my first agenda. I want to make

  638. you angry, devil. I want you to know there's

  639. somebody ready to fight against you. Ready to

  640. take a stand. And then letter B, the ministry

  641. of intercession will... your enemies will attempt

  642. to distract you. Not only will they attract your

  643. enemies, but your enemies, when they come, they

  644. will attempt to distract you. Distract you. I

  645. heard the story of a little champion girl who

  646. had done something wrong and when she was corrected,

  647. she told somebody, I was distracted and sin got

  648. a hold of me. I think she's five years old. She's

  649. in this house. Little Jesse. I was distracted.

  650. I just heard that tonight. And sin got a hold

  651. of me. How many of you know that's true? Every

  652. time we get distracted, she's a preacher already.

  653. Well, Nehemiah knew something that you can't

  654. allow the enemy to distract you. Because if the

  655. enemy can distract you, he'll divert you. And

  656. if he can divert you, he'll deceive you. And

  657. if he deceives you, he'll disgrace you. And if

  658. he can disgrace you, he'll attempt to destroy

  659. you. Don't be distracted. Look at somebody and

  660. say, don't be distracted. So Nehemiah 6, verse

    Nehemiah 6:1–3

  661. 1 through 3, when the word came out to Zimbala,

  662. Tobias, Geshem, and the Arab, and the rest of

  663. our enemies, that I had rebuilt the wall and

  664. not a gap was left in it. Though up to that time

  665. I had not set the doors in the gates, Samballot

  666. and Geshem sent me this message. Come and let

  667. us meet together in one of the villages on the

  668. plain of Ono. But they were scheming to harm

  669. me. So I sent messengers to them with this reply.

  670. I'm carrying on a great project. Or a great work.

  671. I cannot go down. Why should the work stop. While

  672. I leave it to go down to you. Look at your neighbor

  673. and say. We're called to a great work. It's a

  674. great project. Amen. God's got an agenda. He

  675. wants us to get this thing done. He wants us

  676. to stand in the gap, and you've got no time to

  677. get distracted. You need to tell the enemy, I

  678. don't have time for this distraction. I am going

  679. to continue. I know you're trying to stop me

  680. from what God's called me to do, but I'm going

  681. to pray even more. I'm going to pray harder.

  682. I'm going to get up early. I'm going to go to

  683. bed later. I'm going to do whatever I have to

  684. do, but I'm going to pray on. Can you say amen?

  685. Somebody say push. Pray until something happens.

  686. Amen. Don't stop praying. And the ministry of

  687. intercession, listen, this point C, your enemies

  688. will realize you're not alone. When you keep

  689. on pushing, when you keep on doing the work,

  690. Nehemiah 6 .16 says this, when all our enemies

  691. heard about this, all the surrounding nations

  692. were afraid and lost their self -confidence because

  693. they realized that this work had been done with

  694. the help of God. Come on. Are you ready to see

  695. God come to your aid? When you stand in the gap,

  696. that's all God's waiting for. I heard a prophetic

  697. word. The eyes of the Lord are going to and fro.

  698. They're looking for somebody whose heart is totally

  699. committed with Him to show Himself strong on

  700. their behalf. Come on, somebody. Look at your

  701. neighbor and say, God wants to show off on your

  702. behalf. Things that cannot be done will be done.

  703. be done. Things that could not happen will happen.

  704. Things that could not be healed. Infirmity that

  705. could not leave will be gone in the name of the

  706. Lord. Intercessors step into a place of divine

  707. intervention and cause the miraculous to take

  708. place in the house of God. I believe that you

  709. and I have got to be able to repair those places.

  710. Repair the ruins. Repair those things that will

  711. help our city get restored. Number three. Nehemiah's

  712. example, to stand in the gap to protect. In Nehemiah

  713. chapter four, verse 13 through 14, says, therefore

  714. I stationed some of the people behind the lowest

  715. points of the wall at the exposed places, posting

  716. them by families with their swords, spears, and

  717. bows. Verse 14, after I looked things over, I

  718. stood up and said to the nobles, The officials

  719. and the rest of the people, don't be afraid of

  720. them. Remember the Lord who is great and awesome.

  721. And fight for your families. Somebody say fight

  722. for your families. Your sons. Your daughters.

  723. Your wives. And your homes. How many think it's

  724. worth fighting for? How many think your wife

  725. is worth fighting for? Somebody say, um. Fight

  726. for your wife. Come on. Women, look at your husband

  727. and say, fight for me, honey. That's right. There's

  728. got to be men in this house that will fight.

  729. Not fight with them, but fight for them. Amen?

  730. We've got to fight all mixed up. We're fighting

  731. with one another. We're fighting and contending

  732. even home against home and family against family

  733. when our fight is not against flesh and blood,

  734. but against principalities and powers of the

  735. air. When you feel yourself cornered, Fight the

  736. devil. Come on, somebody rise up and fight the

  737. enemies of this house. Fight those that are saying

  738. that this house is not going to go to its future.

  739. Fight that spirit of lying. Fight that spirit

  740. that comes to try to distract and discourage

  741. the people of the house of the Lord. Somebody

  742. say fight. Come on, intercessory ministry and

  743. divine intervention does not happen without a

  744. fight. You're going to have to fight and travail.

  745. You're going to have to travail in prayer. You're

  746. going to have to call out God. You're going to

  747. have to push the gates of hell back. You're going

  748. to have to say to the devil, I know what you're

  749. scheming, but it's not going to happen. You can't

  750. have my son. You can't have my daughter. You

  751. will not have my marriage. You've got to fight

  752. for your family. Some children and young people

  753. in this place need to begin to fight for their

  754. parents. Parents that are not saved and begin

  755. to say, I'm now saved. Washed by the blood of

  756. the Lamb. I have access into the throne of heaven.

  757. I have authority to push back the gates of hell.

  758. I have a promise from God. Believe in me and

  759. you and your house shall be saved. I'm going

  760. to pray for my parents. I'm going to see them

  761. saved. I'm going to push until something happens.

  762. I'm going to pray. Can you say amen? Hallelujah.

  763. I believe that God wants to do some spectacular,

  764. miraculous things as we dare to believe God.

  765. Well, that's all I have time for tonight. But

  766. you and I need to fight. We're gonna believe

  767. God because there are people that are taking

  768. care of the children of your families. And believe

  769. God that the spirit of intercession is gonna

  770. come upon this church and many... will stand

  771. up, will be repairs of the city, of the defenses

  772. of the city, and will begin to close every gap

  773. by standing in the gap. Well, investigate. And

  774. what are the very weaknesses of this city? What's

  775. going on in this city? What are the major sins

  776. of this city? What are the things that are plaguing

  777. the young people of this house or of this city?

  778. How do you stand in the gap for a city if you

  779. don't know what's going on? How do you stand

  780. in the gap for a nation if you don't know what's

  781. going on? How do you stand in the gap for your

  782. family, your children, if you're not talking

  783. with your children? Finding out where are the

  784. low parts of the wall that need to be built.

  785. Where are those open gaps that have been left

  786. open? Maybe it was your own disobedience that

  787. opened some of those gaps up. Maybe it was your

  788. kids that opened the gap. But we have the authority

  789. to close them. We have the authority to stand

  790. in them. And until God does something, we need

  791. to stand and begin to pray. And we need to intercede

  792. in a way that the enemy knows that we're serious,

  793. that we're ready, that we're going to continue

  794. to ring the bell until God shows up with all

  795. his glory and his majesty and fights for us.

  796. Are you with me? Are you ready to enter into

  797. a whole new realm of intercession? Maybe you're

  798. there already and this time this weekend is just

  799. to strengthen your hands and strengthen you to

  800. pray and to draw near to God and for you to understand

  801. that prayer works. I can't tell you enough about

  802. divine intervention. When I was going off to

  803. college, Bible college, I was selling my properties

  804. in Puerto Rico so I could pay my way through

  805. school and try to at least get my footing in

  806. Portland, Oregon when I was coming to Portland

  807. Bible College. My wife was young. We were both

  808. young and married. The person who was buying

  809. my house, together with a lawyer who was doing

  810. the transactions of the sale, tried to scheme.

  811. He wanted to take the money of the sale and wanted

  812. to rob us, basically. And when I got word of

  813. it through another lawyer who saw it, he told

  814. me about the relationship of that buyer with

  815. that lawyer and how they were scheming. I really

  816. got very irate. And I was only saved about two

  817. years. Kind of a new saved guy. Saved out of

  818. the streets. And I remember calling for a meeting

  819. in my house. I was on my way to Bible college,

  820. but here's the enemy trying to distract me. right

  821. before I go off. And my mom saw me. She was a

  822. woman who had just come to the Lord also. First

  823. one saved my family after myself. She began to

  824. pray for me because she saw that my life had

  825. been transformed and changed and all of a sudden

  826. she's seeing me very upset. She hadn't seen me

  827. like this. So she begins to pray and I call for

  828. a meeting of all my old friends. Kind of my...

  829. Little mafia guys. Called them to my house to

  830. see how we would get even. My dear wife started

  831. praying and interceding so that God would intervene

  832. some way. Giselle, a young bride, was crying

  833. out to God. She was raised in a godly family.

  834. I wasn't raised that way. So she knew a lot more

  835. and had a lot more patience and knew that God

  836. would come to work. Life was young of the Lord

  837. and I thought, well, vengeance is mine. You know.

  838. And I was scheming that night to do something.

  839. And guess who showed up at my house? She didn't

  840. live close by me. She traveled all the way to

  841. my house because my wife began to pray. The Lord

  842. spoke to my mother. She made her way. There were

  843. no cell phones, no texts. There was no way my

  844. mom could know anything about this. But she showed

  845. up, a little woman, but just a little woman.

  846. You know, Mary was probably a little lady compared

  847. to Jesus. And I'm still little, but still wanting

  848. to grow. So if any of you have an anointing to

  849. make things grow, pray for me. But my mom showed

  850. up. full of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

  851. Called, stepped into my meeting. She didn't ask

  852. for permission. She just said, Danny, come over

  853. here. I want to talk to you. And I just knew

  854. when I saw her eyes full of tears, I knew she

  855. had something in her heart to give me. I didn't

  856. expect her to give me the word of the Lord. She

  857. intervened that day with a word. She said, I've

  858. been praying for you. And God sent me to give

  859. you this word. He told me you're about to do

  860. something. That will destroy your ministry. Before

  861. it even starts. If you do what you're going to

  862. do tonight. What you're planning. You will never

  863. return back to this island. To preach the gospel.

  864. The doors will be closed. And you will have entrance

  865. into this island. She prayed with me. And she

  866. broke my spirit. Broke the anger in me. Brought

  867. me back to my senses in God. The Holy Spirit

  868. came over me. I walked out of that room. To that

  869. crowd of ungodly men. And said to them, please

  870. forgive me. I've done wrong by you and by the

  871. Lord. I asked their forgiveness. And they left

  872. not fulfilling anything that we had talked about.

  873. And we called off everything. And I went to court

  874. and went through the sale. And God reversed the

  875. whole thing. And God blessed us just like he

  876. said he would. And he prevented me, divine intervention.

  877. stepped into my life that day through my mother.

  878. And I'll never forget that. It's today I'm a

  879. preacher to the nations, not only to my island

  880. of Puerto Rico, but to the nations of the world

  881. because she dared to intervene. She dared to

  882. hear what God wanted to do. And in prayer, she

  883. responded and stood in the gap. I wonder how

  884. many things will be intervened by this church

  885. as you step in the gap and begin to pray. How

  886. many attempts of the enemy will just crumble

  887. to nothing how many works of Satan will be destroyed

  888. through the faithful prayer how many people will

  889. be healed in this church how many miracles will

  890. begin to take place in the next few weeks and

  891. months in this church as you begin to take a

  892. whole different stand of prayer are you ready

  893. for the challenge? are you ready for the fight?

  894. stand with me tonight Lord, I thank you. I thank

  895. you that you're causing people not just to pray,

  896. but to enter into a realm of prophetic intercession.

  897. A time where they can hear what you want them

  898. to pray about, what you want them to do, and

  899. they can act on that word and bring a performance

  900. to intervene in every scheme of Satan. Cause,

  901. Lord, cause people's lives to be spared. Cause

  902. people to... Come out of their sick beds and

  903. out of their death beds. Cause families to walk

  904. away from divorce court and be healed and restored.

  905. Oh God, I pray. Hand of the Lord would save young

  906. people, Lord, from suicide through this church.

  907. From a spirit that lurks to try to destroy them

  908. before they even started. In the name of Jesus,

  909. I pray, oh God, that you put a burden on those

  910. who pray in the house. Cause them to understand

  911. how to ascend into your presence. How to have

  912. clean hands and a pure heart. To be able to ascend

  913. into your hill, into your very presence. Oh,

  914. God, to seek you with this endeavor. In Jesus'

  915. name, and everyone said, amen. God bless you.

  916. Hallelujah. Praise you, Lord. If we could have

  917. the ushers come. Bob, if we could just maybe

  918. just set the buckets on the stage of those that

  919. want to just sow in tonight. Tomorrow morning

  920. we'll receive an offering proper for Danny as

  921. well. But if you want to sow in tonight to his

  922. ministry, we're going to take a freewill offering

  923. for him. You know, we'll just set some up on

  924. the stage. I want you just to be able to come

  925. around as the worship team just kind of worships,

  926. I guess. And plays a little bit. I believe tonight

  927. there was an impartation of something on several

  928. levels. Number one, we heard the word of the

  929. Lord in regard to miracles, healings, the miraculous.

  930. I believe there was an impartation tonight. But

  931. two, I believe there was a stirring that took

  932. place to remind, especially some of us that have

  933. been... laboring for a long time to remind us

  934. that some of the things that have happened through

  935. the years it isn't coincidence and just to bring

  936. to our mind that God actually has been answering

  937. prayers and that the fight that some of the things

  938. that we've encountered is not by coincidence

  939. and not to grow weary in doing well for others

  940. that heard tonight recognizing that prayer And

  941. standing in the gap for the house of the Lord,

  942. for the people of God, for families, for the

  943. lost, for the miraculous is absolutely imperative.

  944. And to anchor into that and say, this is what

  945. God is looking for. He's asking me to sign up,

  946. to begin to pray according to the Spirit, to

  947. begin to receive a godly burden. Maybe it's for

  948. children. Maybe it's for the lost. Maybe it's

  949. for the miraculous. Maybe it's the gamut of how

  950. the Holy Spirit will just begin to bring thoughts.

  951. God is bringing a touch and an impartation. So

  952. tonight, as we dismiss, just bring something

  953. before the Lord. We're just going to add this

  954. to just Danny's love offering at the end of the

  955. weekend. God bless you. Receive that tonight

  956. in the name of Jesus. God bless you as you go.

  957. We'll see you in the morning. Doors open, I believe,

  958. around 9 .30. We'll start at 10 o 'clock. It's

  959. going to be a great time tomorrow. 10 to about

  960. 12 .30. Thank you. interested in hearing other
