  1. Something is shifting in this trilogy of prayer.

  2. There's a momentum. We're at the halfway mark.

  3. And God is stirring us. He stirred my voice.

  4. I used it so much I don't have it. So they'll

  5. just have to turn the volume up. But I'm going

  6. to give it to you from my heart. The theme was

  7. anchored. And the thought was stabilizing prayers

  8. in seas of uncertainty. How many have felt a

  9. little destabilized or a little shaken during

  10. this last season? Lift your hand up if that's

  11. you. Could you stand up if you felt a little

  12. bit shaken or a little bit troubled in your soul

  13. or a little bit pushed, a little bit challenged?

  14. Look at this. Now, we have to realize something.

  15. That we've come to the kingdom for such a time

  16. as this, the body. I was thinking as we were

  17. worshiping and had all these festivals, I was

  18. thinking we need a worship and family. Worship

  19. week, something where we just come and worship,

  20. soak, saturate all week. Just let the Spirit

  21. of God come on the songs. Let the song of the

  22. Lord, just let it break out. Just it's time to

  23. saturate. I'm not calling you to do that. I just,

  24. you got up and said there were other festivals

  25. and we were having a festival. I thought, let's

  26. just stretch it out a couple days. You know,

  27. to me, something is. Is moving. Go ahead and

  28. sit down. I just wanted to identify that we're

  29. all in this season of uncertainty. That culture

  30. around you shifts all the time. But God's kingdom

  31. moves on and is forever. And we're anchored on

  32. another level. We're anchored down at another

  33. place. And God wants to speak to us. I had this

  34. thought coming in. I wasn't going to share it.

  35. I was going to move on to some notes. But I feel

  36. I'm supposed to share it because I realize that

  37. we started this Friday night and we're ending

  38. this today. And that it's a cooperative thing.

  39. It's everybody together, walking together. That

  40. we are one family here. That we're moving by

  41. the Spirit. That God is stirring your heart in

  42. a very particular and certain way. God wants

  43. to anchor us in a deeper faith. Come on, how

  44. many want to? I mean, you're not, I'm not putting

  45. anything on that. I'm just putting that out there.

  46. How many want a deeper faith? Just want that

  47. root to grow. I'm going to talk about that today.

  48. Just open up to what God has for you. Something

  49. is moving. Something is occurring right now.

  50. God is up to something amazing. And a closer

  51. walk with him. Have you been hungering for a

  52. closer walk with the Lord? Have you felt like

  53. something is stirring you to something deeper,

  54. something more meaningful, something more fulfilling?

  55. I just sense God wants to bring us into a closer

  56. walk with him. Whatever that looks like. I'm

  57. convinced if four billion people got up in the

  58. morning to meet with the Lord, it would look

  59. different for all four billion of those people

  60. because God wants to draw us near. One simple

  61. scripture, submit therefore to God. And what?

  62. Resist the devil. That's the part we don't like.

  63. How many like that part? No, that's a reality.

  64. That this is a conflict we're in. This is a battle

  65. we're in. This is a challenge we're in. This

  66. is a, how many felt some unusual pressure coming

  67. against your mind this week? Just a weird, you

  68. prayed one of the most powerful prayers I've

  69. heard in that room. Did you feel pressure this

  70. week? Yeah, there's a. There's a warfare. And

  71. it's weird because it kind of happens right between

  72. here, doesn't it? It's not something you just

  73. wake up. Oh, what's this? Like, it's a battle

  74. we're in. It's a fight. I just believe we're

  75. not, we're moving from a defensive position to

  76. an offensive position. That's what's shifting

  77. in these three conferences. I felt it when I

  78. was here on Saturday. It's like you, you, you.

  79. You get down because the pressure. And then the

  80. pressure forms your thinking. And then your thinking

  81. gets you discouraged. And then you get oppressed.

  82. And it tries to cap the capacity within you.

  83. But then God comes and breathes on that. And

  84. he opens you up. Because there's more. Because

  85. it's bigger. And he's moving us from a position

  86. of defense to offense. And to me this is so.

  87. Well. It's just bigger than me, that's all I

  88. can say. So I'm not managing it from heaven.

  89. We see just in a part. You see all these people

  90. stand up and they're feeling uncertain. You see

  91. all these people raise their hand and they've

  92. come under some kind of mental pressure. And

  93. when it comes on you, you think you're the only

  94. person that that's happening to. You're not.

  95. We're one body. If you're feeling it, other people

  96. are feeling it. If you're going through it, other

  97. people are feeling that same challenge. God is

  98. waking us up to this battle. And something is

  99. shifting. That is his heart for this weekend.

  100. It's to deepen our faith and to draw us near

  101. to him. And to draw us close and to draw us into

  102. his love and draw us into his presence. And allow

  103. us to saturate in the grace that's available.

  104. I listen to Tim and Stephanie, I'm thinking,

  105. one was a little down, one was up, one was down,

  106. one was up. It was a mutual faith thing. They

  107. were just walking together and they saw the miraculous

  108. of God. Plus the family sees the miraculous of

  109. God. I don't know how you follow that up. I think

  110. I should just have an altar call and just come

  111. down and just get blessed. You have a financial

  112. need? Come on down. You know what I mean? Just

  113. like open heavens. It's open heavens here. This

  114. is water like people are dying out there. We

  115. drink it. We receive it. It flows in us. It comes

  116. out of us. Helps us. Encourages us. Strengthens

  117. us. Our minds can't even wrap around. God is

  118. so good. Something is happening. My encouragement

  119. is open your heart. Just open it. To all he has

  120. for you in this season. He has something for

  121. you. I just want to encourage you to open up

  122. your heart. Maybe just do this. Maybe just like.

  123. Open up your heart, maybe with your hands, just

  124. like, just a prophetic act, just opening up to

  125. what God has. Yeah, take a deep breath. Just

  126. let the Spirit of God just fill you with His

  127. wind. I can't fill you with anything. But He

  128. can. Right here, right now, right in that seat,

  129. right? In all your confusion. Addiction. It doesn't

  130. matter to him. He's more powerful. He's stronger.

  131. He's not coming here to judge us. He's coming

  132. here to love us. Your mind plays tricks on you.

  133. Your mind's sometimes your own enemy. Your mind's

  134. taking you where you shouldn't have gone. Your

  135. mind has led you down paths that weren't healthy.

  136. But that was then. This is now. You're right

  137. here. This is right now. It's right now. You're

  138. here. By the grace of God, you're here. How many

  139. have a testimony, I shouldn't even be here? How

  140. many have a testimony, you shouldn't even be

  141. here? You had so many near misses, you should

  142. be some, you know, that's the grace of God. It's

  143. just on you. You stand up and pray. Your identity's

  144. not in your prayer. You're the gift. We kind

  145. of think, what's our gift? You're it. You're

  146. the gift. You are the gift. We're always measuring

  147. ourselves one to another. You're just it. You're

  148. beautiful. Turn to someone and tell them, you're

  149. beautiful. You're amazing. You're incredible.

  150. The world's discouraging us. We might as well

  151. come in here and get encouraged. Tell them you're

  152. looking great. Tell them God's on your side.

  153. When you were thinking all week, he wasn't. Sometimes

  154. we wonder where he went. He didn't go anywhere.

  155. Just our brain did. We have these doctrines that

  156. are true and stable and on the word of God. That

  157. he's omnipresent. And we're asking questions

  158. like, where'd he go? And he's going, I didn't

  159. go anywhere. In fact, I'm living inside you.

  160. Take a look. Okay. If I don't share like that.

  161. We think another way and we leave the same way,

  162. but God wants us to start thinking different.

  163. She stood right here and said, I'm going to think

  164. different. I'm no longer going to hope or maybe

  165. or it'd be nicer. Do you like me? Do you care

  166. about me? No. I'm certain. How many can't use

  167. a mind makeover? How many can't use a complete?

  168. Who's in for a mind makeover? You just kind of

  169. like need a whole new way to perceive life. The

  170. Bible tells us, don't look at what you can see,

  171. but what you can't see, because what you can't

  172. see is eternal. He actually implores us to look

  173. at what we can't see. I'm thinking, I stopped

  174. looking at what I can see. I do recovery ministry.

  175. I used to see a drug addict or someone in drugs

  176. coming in and that was our project. Now I just

  177. see someone coming in looking for love. And we

  178. just start loving them. And God starts changing.

  179. It's power and love. There's so much power that

  180. it's brought you here today. It brought you out

  181. of where you were and it's set you right here.

  182. But we do know we're in this cosmic conflict

  183. that's on such a scale that if we just peek,

  184. I always say, Lord, take me back there. Show

  185. me the conflict. He said, it'd scare the wits

  186. out of you. I suffer from panic and anxiety.

  187. So he said, I don't think so. We'll save that

  188. for another day. We know so little. We build

  189. our own kingdom so we can think we're important.

  190. It's ridiculous, really. We're so... I don't

  191. know. Dismantle me, Lord. Just take me apart.

  192. Start building from the ground up. The other

  193. day, I'm driving. The Lord says, Mark. He uses

  194. my first name. Yes, Lord. What is it this time?

  195. Where are you? I'm here. I know you're always

  196. here. You never went anywhere. Mark, you're not

  197. called to make something happen. I said, yeah,

  198. I know. That's what I've been doing for 56, 57

  199. years. He said, you're called to be a part of

  200. the happening. Changed my life in one sense.

  201. More has happened since that statement than what

  202. I tried to do in all those other years. Because

  203. we're a part of something that's happening. It's

  204. being mastermind from a seat in heaven. It's

  205. already in force. It's already planned out. It's

  206. already been accomplished. My job is just to

  207. participate with the happening. The Bible says,

  208. my sheep hear my voice, know me, and they follow

  209. me. That's all we need to use our brain for.

  210. I tell people, I said, if you're using your brain

  211. to lust or to control other people or to figure

  212. out the future or try to worry, then you're confused.

  213. How many are using their brain for that? Could

  214. I have a show of hands? No, I mean, honestly,

  215. you're using your brain for that. And is that

  216. working out very well? No. Stop it. I always

  217. tell people, just stop it. I can't. It's driving

  218. me. No, the Lord wants to free us from all that.

  219. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

  220. He's able to lead you. He's able to guide you.

  221. He's able to direct you. He does it with his

  222. love. It's the most amazing thing when we just

  223. rest, relax, just get in the flow. There's already

  224. a current that's flowing. You know when you're

  225. in it because you have these really good thoughts

  226. and you have this really, and you get up and

  227. you can do things and you think, how'd that happen?

  228. It happened through flow. But then you go right

  229. out and you start yelling at somebody or give

  230. me that food quicker when you give it to them.

  231. And so that's called anti -flow. You had to come

  232. to the seminar to get all the facts and details,

  233. but I'm giving you kind of the highlights. This

  234. is kind of like ESPN at night. You know, you

  235. missed all the events, but you just get it. Are

  236. you enjoying it? Just if you're enjoying it.

  237. The big idea is God loves you. And he has a plan

  238. for you. And you can relax. And enjoy the ride.

  239. And we can start to deprogram all this chaos

  240. that's going on in our mind and we can open ourselves

  241. up to the love of God because they found in brain

  242. science that I didn't understand this. But I've

  243. been experiencing it. That there's two core centers

  244. in our brain down as deep as it goes. They found

  245. this in science. Love and fear. You spoke it

  246. today. The fear. The love. The love, when love's

  247. excited in us, it heals our brain. It heals our

  248. decision making. It heals our life. It gets us

  249. in the right mind. It helps us. It says perfect

  250. love casts out what? Fear. The Bible, brain science

  251. now is just discovering what the Bible's been

  252. telling us the whole time. And fear brings what?

  253. Torment. How many felt tormented this week? Lift

  254. your hand up high. I mean, we're in a moment.

  255. This is where life and death are. The enemy,

  256. he's not out to play games. It's the thief cometh

  257. to steal, kill, and destroy. I've come that you

  258. might have life. And have it more abundantly.

  259. Again raise your hand if you felt that torment.

  260. If you felt that oppression. That wrestling.

  261. See as we come each week. We're in this cosmic

  262. conflict. We're in this battle. And everyone

  263. is facing it as we go out there. That's why the

  264. love of God is so powerful. And we can help each

  265. other so much. I've stopped asking people. what

  266. they do because it doesn't really matter because

  267. the gift in you, you are the gift and you will

  268. do the gift. I only seem to care about how you're

  269. doing right now. Because I never know if the

  270. person's in torment or if they're in flow. But

  271. I do know a prayer of faith will deal with that

  272. torment. I do know a touch on the shoulder will

  273. And part of blessing. I do know a word in due

  274. season. It's sweet. We're facing such a battle

  275. out there. We're facing such a conflict. We're

  276. in such a dynamic. And I believe present truth.

  277. God's pouring out his love. He's pouring out

  278. his love. I want to say a few things about his

  279. love, but I want to finish this. I want to get

  280. this in the atmosphere, this thought. Embrace

  281. change. Not brace for change, embrace change.

  282. There's two choices in the kingdom. You can fall

  283. on the rock or the rock can fall on you. I believe

  284. that God is wanting to bring change. Permanent

  285. change to our way of thinking. Permanent change

  286. to a release of joy. How many have just been

  287. discouraged lately? Lift your hand up if that's

  288. been you. Just lift your hand up. See, the power

  289. of what we think, the power of what goes on in

  290. our mind, the power of the pressure that's there.

  291. Are you open to embrace change? For some of that

  292. old to go and the new to come? How many are ready

  293. for some of that old thinking to pass away and

  294. some new thinking to come? How many are like

  295. our sister Stephanie who says, I just had to

  296. embrace change. Change the way I'm thinking.

  297. Brought a miracle. She said that so calmly. But

  298. I'm not a calm person, so I'm over there doing,

  299. come on, break out the song. Get the dance. Get

  300. the tambourine. You know, how many of you really

  301. wanted to dance? You wanted to break out? We

  302. were hearing the love of God at work. And it

  303. didn't depress you back there. Like, oh, that's

  304. depressing. You know, it excited something in

  305. your brain. It stimulated something to where

  306. you had these actual thoughts. And they've got

  307. it down to brain science where it releases oxytocin.

  308. You just listening to that testimony released

  309. oxytocin within your body. It's not cortisol,

  310. not the stress hormone, but it released this

  311. hormone that goes through and you get a good

  312. feeling. Believe me, God designed the body, soul,

  313. and the spirit. We've not given anything to what

  314. actually our brain does, although what your brain's

  315. thinking you're doing. Stop it. That's what I

  316. came to tell you. Stop it. One time I was at

  317. Elmer's and a guy was telling me the things he

  318. was doing. sinful things and uh after we were

  319. done he got we walked out he goes that was the

  320. happiest and joyous confessional I've ever been

  321. at because the love of God was there he fully

  322. expected to get just bam right across the table

  323. he was saying it so loud when he was doing the

  324. whole restaurant could hear I he didn't need

  325. to shout it from the house top I was thinking

  326. shut it down a little bit Hey, if you don't care,

  327. I don't care. Whatever. Just, I guess God's here.

  328. He was there when you did it. So, and you didn't

  329. even, weren't even cognizant of it. So, open

  330. it up a little bit. God, we sin in secret. We

  331. think he wasn't there. You took him with you.

  332. We don't even get it. tell you something, you

  333. go, I think that's right. You go, is that in

  334. the Bible? We can't get away from him. You might

  335. as well embrace him. You might as well bring

  336. it to him. You might as well confess it. You

  337. know, if I came in here and dug on sin, you'd

  338. just close up. You come in here and love on sin

  339. and it's just like, where's the altar? You're

  340. just like, man, that's no fun anyway. It doesn't

  341. leave any lasting pleasure. And so, man, we're

  342. so confused and we're fighting all these battles.

  343. Open it up. I think more healings happen just

  344. in standing up, raising your hand. Because the

  345. devil works in darkness. And God works in the

  346. light. He used to think at Recovery Ministry

  347. that it was a God forgive me. That it was a subsection

  348. of the church. Until I got the phone calls from

  349. different people and I realized it wasn't a subsection.

  350. It was a cross section. I wasn't dealing with

  351. a subsection of the church. I was dealing with

  352. the cross section. That everything they were

  353. fighting, every leader was fighting, everybody's

  354. fighting, everybody's fighting. No one gets out

  355. of the battle. I don't know. I wanted to encourage

  356. you today. Oh, let me finish this. Circular thinker,

  357. right? Maybe I took, when I prayed for you, I

  358. was taking a little bit for me, like just a little

  359. organization. Surrender your hearts to him this

  360. morning. We're going to hear a theme. It's not

  361. going to be, it's going to be a theme. Because

  362. they found in quantum that what it actually proves

  363. is that man has a free will. The most powerful

  364. thing you possess is the power to choose. Choose

  365. this day whom you're going to serve. You have

  366. that power today. You could be in here and not

  367. saved. You have the power to choose whether you're

  368. going to go with the Lord. But the doorway to

  369. that choice to him is surrender. I was teaching

  370. a right -wrong thinking class and I thought I

  371. was waxing eloquent, had everybody meeting with

  372. the Lord. I went to have a girl share her testimony

  373. and she finally shared after 10 weeks. She raised

  374. her hand and she said, I just want to share my

  375. testimony. I said, I want to share that you've

  376. been talking about surrender for 10 weeks and

  377. I'm still trying to decide if I give my life

  378. to the Lord, if he'll do a better job with it

  379. than I can do. So I thought, I was waiting for

  380. her to say that when she was meeting with the

  381. Lord, it was fantastic. And the Lord said that's

  382. the greatest battle on the planet. I hadn't read

  383. brain science. I hadn't read anything. I don't

  384. know anything about quantum. I don't know anything.

  385. That very statement almost set me to the ground.

  386. And then the Lord said. That's the biggest enemy

  387. within people. It's the choice. Or it's the biggest

  388. blessing. It's the choice. It's just which way

  389. you choose. And so surrender is a. word that,

  390. how many like to surrender? Could I have a show

  391. of hands if you like to surrender? Now, could

  392. I have a show of hands if you don't like to surrender,

  393. if you like to have your rights and your way

  394. and your thing and you are, you know, lift your

  395. hand up. Don't, not halfway. No, you could. So

  396. I saw that halfway hand like, whoa. I'm already

  397. being set free. That's it. That's all God needed.

  398. He's already in. He's already working. Because

  399. where he works, I can't see. If he's saying something,

  400. I could be saying this and you're hearing something

  401. completely different from the Holy Spirit. Or

  402. you're on, I don't know, waiting for a football,

  403. you know, or whatever. Brain's an interesting

  404. thing, but God is up to something right now.

  405. He loves us. Man, does he love us. It's crazy

  406. love. I wanted to come up here and tell you how

  407. much he loved you. I'm sitting down there. How

  408. do you do that? How do you describe that? How

  409. do you impart that? How is that felt by somebody?

  410. It's so large. We just have to open up to it.

  411. We just have to embrace change. We just have

  412. to be willing. We just have to come into this

  413. new knowing that he loves us. I wanted to encourage

  414. you in prayer today. How many want to be encouraged

  415. in prayer? You want to be encouraged. How many

  416. have been discouraged in prayer in the past?

  417. Have they felt a little guilt, condemnation,

  418. and shame? Could I have a show of hands? See,

  419. that's... I have like seven hours here of stuff.

  420. We're just highlighting things and just enjoying

  421. the moment. I want to remind you of one thing.

  422. Prayer is the most resisted activity on the planet.

  423. So if you've had a hard time with prayer, it's

  424. because it's resisted. I want to tell you the

  425. best things in God will be resisted. That's why

  426. we have to go on the, say it with me, offensive.

  427. We're going to go on the offensive. We're not

  428. going to stay on the defensive. We're going to

  429. move into a position and we're going to, all

  430. we're going to do, I'm only asking you this.

  431. I make no, pastor asked me to talk on prayer.

  432. I'm asking you to lean into it. More prayer is

  433. better than less prayer. Take that to the bank.

  434. You ever pray that you didn't feel better? You

  435. ever pray for someone they got worse? They always

  436. feel better. Prayer. I put down on my notes,

  437. I wrote these notes this morning on my back.

  438. Just praying. Every conversation Kelly and I

  439. had changed me yesterday. There's a law that's

  440. called entanglement. It's an unusual law. It's

  441. a scientific law. But it proves that we're one

  442. body and that we're more entangled than we really

  443. realize. I don't know how I can feel this close

  444. to you unless it's supernatural. I don't know

  445. how we could make that five minute exchange and

  446. have it change in orientation in my mind. Except

  447. that it's the kingdom of God advancing. And it's

  448. us in. Entanglement, we're entangled. It's beyond

  449. what you, if you try to wrap around what you

  450. can see, you'll miss it because it's something

  451. beyond one spirit, one body. We read those things,

  452. we throw them out there and then we don't, they

  453. don't, they're. They're in a supernatural realm.

  454. We have to perceive things from the supernatural,

  455. from a place where we're positioned with him.

  456. Because you can't, because how do you know? They

  457. found atoms in that thing, atoms. And then they

  458. found, there's like five other names for how

  459. small it gets. And now it's so small, the science

  460. is finding, that they just think it's energy

  461. vibrating. I don't get that. I don't even see

  462. that in the natural. I can't see that, but that's

  463. what's holding that wall up. You go out to the

  464. galaxies. You go the other direction. And that's

  465. just his creation. And that's two directions

  466. outside of what you can see. And we can't even

  467. get that. Now get God. Remember, we have one

  468. statement. He's God. We're not. We're just on

  469. a need -to -know basis with him. When we need

  470. to know it, we'll hear his voice. We'll know

  471. him and know it's him. And we'll what? Follow

  472. him. Don't use your brain for anything else.

  473. That's enough. Get the other clutter out of there

  474. so we can just get that in and you're going to

  475. be a dynamo. God's up to something and he's decluttering

  476. us so he can fill us. Remember, we're going on

  477. the offense. If it's not a declutter so we can

  478. look good, it's a declutter for a fill up. I

  479. had these notes and everything was prayed back

  480. in that room back there. Every single thing.

  481. Every single thing. The Lord talked to me this

  482. morning and I just pecked out on my phone in

  483. the notes section. Was prayed in that room. Entanglement.

  484. You just hear something, just a vibration, just

  485. a Holy Ghost quickening and get up and blow the

  486. room up. God didn't give us a spirit of fear,

  487. but the enemy would like to stir that up in your

  488. brain. And cause you to be so fragmented and

  489. thwarted and stopped. And God's over here with

  490. power, love, and a sound mind. I suggest we just

  491. embrace change. Don't think you're just how you

  492. are and that's forever how you are. I'm almost

  493. out of time. I haven't even got to what prayer

  494. is. I want to say, I want you to write this down

  495. if you can. And then I want you to see if you

  496. think it's right. Because I just got it this

  497. morning. I believe this. Prayer is a lot of things.

  498. It's a lot of things. It's intercession. It's

  499. this. It's petition. It's a lot of things, but

  500. I, and I don't want to, I'm not minimizing those

  501. things. Those are all within this framework of

  502. what I want to say. It's what I believe. It's

  503. what I'm feeling, sensing, seeing in Scripture.

  504. Prayer is a place. We can open up our heart and

  505. be loved by God. That's what Kelly told me yesterday.

  506. Told me it was a place. He didn't say it in those

  507. words. He didn't articulate it. He took five

  508. minutes, but what I heard this morning was prayer

  509. is a place. We're seated with him in heavenly

  510. places. It boils down after it's a place in him

  511. where our life is hid in him. It's a dynamic

  512. prayer. We've tried to define it in what we can

  513. see. And it's not definable that way because

  514. it's a relationship with him. Prayer is more

  515. than a prayer we pray. It's an intimate, ongoing

  516. relationship with him. That's why Paul said pray

  517. without ceasing. It wasn't separate from the

  518. relationship. The other is works. But this isn't

  519. works. Prayer is a work of grace. It's a whole

  520. dynamic that when we come into it, we want more.

  521. I thank God. And Abraham were hanging it out.

  522. And the prayer for Sodom and Gomorrah came as

  523. a result of their relationship. And then we pull

  524. that out. Digest that out. Get that in the natural.

  525. Then we preach on prayer. And it ceases to be

  526. what it was. I want to read you a scripture that's

  527. so mind -boggling. Of course, prayed in the back.

  528. Because we're all in this entanglement. We're

  529. the body. And may you have the power to understand,

  530. as all God's people should, how wide, how long,

  531. how high, and how deep his love is. And this

  532. is Paul's prayer. This is an eternal prayer.

  533. This prayer has never stopped being prayed. This

  534. was an organic prayer launched in the writing

  535. of this book. But it wasn't, it was a prayer.

  536. This is the prayer. May you experience the love

  537. of Christ. Though it is too great to understand

  538. fully, beyond your understanding, but you can

  539. experience it. And when you experience it, it's

  540. undeniable. It's irrefutable. It's, sorry, I

  541. already got it. I get it. Anyway. I'm already

  542. over. Though it is too great to understand. Now

  543. get this. Then it goes on. Then you will be made

  544. complete. This isn't self helps. This isn't God

  545. helps those who help themselves. This is God

  546. helps those who ask him for help. He's ready

  547. to help us. Then you will be made complete with

  548. all the fullness of life and power that comes

  549. from him. I want to say this one thought. The

  550. most powerful thing we can do each day. You can

  551. play. Because I'm ending. It's 1151. The most

  552. powerful thing we can do each day. Is come to

  553. God each morning to meet with him. I can't think

  554. of a more sane thing. Who wakes up clouded in

  555. the morning? Who wakes up depressed, discouraged?

  556. Prayer is an intimate, ongoing meeting with God.

  557. Psalms 90 verse 14 says, remember, I almost had

    Psalms 90:14

  558. a nervous breakdown eight years ago. I was riding

  559. my bike. The Lord said, the closest you and I

  560. ever were to dental school. And I flashed back

  561. to dental school, spending the mornings with

  562. him, 15 minutes. I didn't go to a charismatic

  563. church. I didn't know anything. I just went out

  564. in the woods. He came and I'd fall over and wave

  565. after wave of his presence. I felt better. And

  566. I'd go to dental school. People would get saved.

  567. I didn't even associate that to that morning

  568. that that's what was happening. Psalms 90, 14

  569. says this. Satisfy me every morning with your

  570. unfailing love. I want to read one more scripture.

  571. Then I'm done. God's love isn't done. I'm just...

  572. After he talks about depression and paralyzing

  573. fear, in Psalms 143 he says, let me hear of your

  574. unfailing love every morning. For I am trusting

  575. you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself

  576. to you. Surrender. The Bible tells us to grow

  577. our roots down deep into his love. It's that

  578. same prayer in Ephesians 3. I believe the roots

  579. God wants to grow in you in this season are surrender.

  580. How many are ready to grow? Surrender. Trust.

  581. How many struggle with trust? Let's grow a root

  582. down into his love. How many struggle with pride?

  583. Let's grow humility. Let's just get into his

  584. love. The other root is faith. The other root

  585. is thanksgiving. All are prayers. But it has

  586. to start in the organic place of his love or

  587. it just works. Go ahead and stand. I have for

  588. you a first 15 little brochure that you can have.

  589. It's just a two -page little thing. It's called

  590. the first 15. It's about spending the first 15

  591. minutes with the Lord in the morning. Just in

  592. unscripted enjoyment of meeting with God. Don't

  593. make it a duty. Make it an opportunity. Make

  594. it a time where you can just find a little corner

  595. somewhere. Get some music with some headphones

  596. and a little set time, a little set place, a

  597. little set plan. Oh, 15 minutes won't be enough

  598. after a while, but just start with 15. It would

  599. be, just set that alarm. The devil will turn

  600. it off. There'll be such resistance. Just fight,

  601. lean in. We're just gonna, what? Just do it.

  602. Just, let's do this together. It's just lean

  603. in to prayer. into His love, into this place

  604. that He has for you. And I guarantee you this,

  605. He's going to heal your brain. And you won't

  606. even have to try. It'll be a product of growing

  607. your roots into His love. You'll be strong. You'll

  608. be strong when the wind comes and the rain comes.

  609. You'll be strong because your roots will be down

  610. in His love. He loves you so much. You have to.

  611. How many have struggled with your lovability?

  612. Just lift your hand up if that's you. Just struggled

  613. with. Just open. Let's just open up. Just open

  614. up to his love. Open up to his healing. Open

  615. up to his help. Open up to his strength. Open

  616. up to him. He loves us so much. Why don't you

  617. just bow your hearts, maybe close your eyes this

  618. morning, open your hands toward heaven. Lord,

  619. today, in all that was shared, Father, from encouragement,

  620. the testimonies, Lord, to some nuggets of truth,

  621. Lord, today we ask. Lord, that prayer would not

  622. be something we would look at that we have not

  623. done well or somehow we feel guilty because we

  624. should do more. The whole point of today, Lord,

  625. is Lord, that we want to know you more. We want

  626. to move into that place of fellowship. We want

  627. to move into that place of hearing your voice

  628. and talking to you and bringing you into our

  629. daily life, Lord, where you matter. And God,

  630. I'm praying right now, even as was a challenge

  631. this weekend at every session. And Lord, it is

  632. a challenge even this morning that we would every

  633. day take, Lord, even just a small portion, 15

  634. minutes. Lord, it's a small amount, but it's

  635. a significant amount of choice. And we would

  636. set you first. We'd worship you. We'd bring.

  637. You into our thoughts and our hearts. We surrender

  638. to you, Lord, the key of this morning. Prayer

  639. is about surrender. Prayer is about not my will,

  640. but your will be done. Prayer is about recognizing

  641. that I must have you and that you want me to

  642. ask you into my life. It's not about what I can

  643. do for you, Lord. It's about you coming into

  644. my life. You're God and I'm not. Lord, infuse

  645. us this morning with prayer. Lord, I'm praying

  646. for, Lord, Life Bible Church, I'm praying for

  647. this. This Sunday, August 14th, Lord, in the

  648. next six to eight weeks, Lord, there would be

  649. a significant infusion of prayer, of people bringing

  650. you, Holy Spirit, you, Jesus, you, Heavenly Father,

  651. right into the very living room, right into that

  652. place of privacy, Lord, where everything is open

  653. to you and we're not ashamed to talk to you.

  654. Some of us will walk and pray. Some of us will

  655. get into a closed room where no one can see or

  656. hear. Some of us will just find our own place.

  657. But Lord, every one of us needs, Lord, that place

  658. of encounter, that place of relationship, that

  659. place of knowing you. Lord, we throw off, Lord,

  660. the old things as we heard today. Not the cherished

  661. things, the treasured things, the things of God,

  662. but Lord, the old mindsets that look to put burdens

  663. and shackles, that look to put religious works

  664. over our minds. Today, in Jesus' name, Lord,

  665. we ask for the love of God to draw us to the

  666. place like you did with Adam and Eve, the walking

  667. in the garden. Lord, you walk in the garden of

  668. our heart. Come to you each morning and put you

  669. first. In Jesus' name, amen. If you are interested
