  1. Good morning, good morning. Everyone said good

  2. morning. Everyone say out loud, we love you,

  3. Pastor Frank. Thank you so much for that. I really

  4. appreciate that. I really do love Brad and Ginny.

  5. We have been related for a very long time because

  6. I'm an elderly gentleman and knew them when they

  7. were very young. But it's good to be back with

  8. the Light Bible Church again. I always enjoy

  9. being here, the presence, the intensity, the

  10. open -heartedness of this church is wonderful.

  11. It still always amazes me when I get off the

  12. freeway and I drive out here that there's a church

  13. like this out here. It still is one of those

  14. miracles in my mind, you know. The Metroplex

  15. of Harrisburg. It's amazing. that has happened

  16. out here. And I always, I'm just amazed at the

  17. building every time when I drive up. It just

  18. reminds me of a lodge. I should be unloading

  19. my luggage, going to the river, not preaching.

  20. It's such a wonderful setting, beautiful setting.

  21. Well, here we are. I'm going to go to the Word

  22. this morning, and we're going to partake of the

  23. Scriptures. Over the last, oh, by the way, thank

  24. you for helping Puerto Rico. We have about 35

  25. churches in Puerto Rico, and they have been absolutely,

  26. totally, unimaginably devastated. Buildings gone,

  27. homes gone. The news shows you certain things,

  28. but if you could actually see everything. It

  29. is beyond comprehension. In my lifetime, I've

  30. never seen anything like it. And many of our

  31. churches over there, their buildings are totally

  32. destroyed. Not just a roof taken off, no building

  33. left. It's just totally destroyed. And so we

  34. have a lot of work to do. Our minister's fellowship,

  35. which Brad's a part of MFI, is sending over multiple

  36. thousands of dollars also trying to help them

  37. just get to life. and get through this. So thank

  38. you for helping with the Puerto Rican crisis

  39. and what's going on there. I'm around the world

  40. most of the time now. In the last 12 months,

  41. it's been 55 cities and 10 countries. And so

  42. that's my life. That's what I do is visit countries.

  43. Most of the time, it's with leaders. but also

  44. I do conference in churches. But my focus has

  45. been in my years now to focus on helping pastors,

  46. helping churches, helping leaders, and trying

  47. to encourage them. One of the things I've noticed

  48. around the world is that the Holy Spirit is up

  49. to something. Can someone say amen? You should

  50. be encouraged because even though, again, in

  51. America the news is so strange. America has thousands

  52. of great churches, and you might not hear about

  53. them, but there are thousands of great churches

  54. in America, and there are hundreds of churches

  55. being planted every month. Even though everyone

  56. paints this picture of Babylon and Bachelet in

  57. America, it's really not that way. It's only

  58. because the Babylon people are the ones who report.

  59. In America, there's a lot of stuff going on that

  60. is very good. Again, without America, churches

  61. and the devastation that's taking place, it's

  62. the church that rises up almost every time and

  63. takes care of situations. And in the Houston

  64. situation, finally the news even said it, the

  65. number one giving institution and the rescue

  66. of the Houston situation was the church in Houston.

  67. And by the thousands they poured in and still

  68. are. Even when the news is not there, the church

  69. is still there and still rebuilding. And that's

  70. happening everywhere in the world. So I'm just

  71. saying that to say, be proud of the church. And

  72. don't listen to a lot of the naysayers and the

  73. people that paint such a horrible picture about

  74. our country. Our country has a great future.

  75. And our country has never been built on one president,

  76. good, bad, or indifferent, whatever you think

  77. about the president. It does matter that you

  78. obey scripture, you pray for him, and you should

  79. not badmouth and criticize anybody in politics.

  80. It's not worth it, and it's not Bible. What you

  81. should do is put your trust in Almighty God.

  82. And it's the government of God that changes the

  83. country, not the government of men. And the kingdom

  84. of God is not attached to the kingdom of man.

  85. And so we just take care of business. We pray.

  86. We move the invisible. We do the most important.

  87. We do the eternal. Let everybody else do the

  88. temporary. We're the ones that are plugged into

  89. heaven. And heaven is having an effect worldwide

  90. right now. Just shout a big amen. So be encouraged.

  91. It's not as bad as everybody paints it out to

  92. be. All right, from my perspective, I'm going

  93. to refer now to two scriptures. One we're going

  94. to go to. It'll probably be on the screen later

  95. when I get there. I'm going to quote and I'm

  96. going to give some frame. And there's a reason

  97. I'm going to take time to do this so that you

  98. can kind of lean in with me into this particular

  99. scripture that I'm going to do this morning,

  100. which would be a little bit of a teaching, a

  101. little bit of a prophetic word to you as a church,

  102. and a little bit of an application to you for

  103. every individual that's sitting here in this

  104. room today. This word will apply to your life

  105. and where you are right now. The book of Isaiah

  106. and Isaiah the prophet. with the most quoted

  107. prophet in the New Testament. More quoted by

  108. Paul, by Peter, more written about than any other

  109. prophet. And there's a reason why. Isaiah was

  110. a statesman and he was very systematic in his

  111. prophesying. Ezekiel and Daniel and different

  112. ones were a lot of historical prophecies about

  113. Judah and Israel and stuff that was going on

  114. and then end time stuff. kind of on top of that

  115. Isaiah was one of those kind of a prophets that

  116. prophesied like a teacher he prophesied like

  117. a lawyer he prophesied like a writer he prophesied

  118. in a systematic manner so that anybody could

  119. follow his prophecies so we have the most famous

  120. prophecies really about Christ are all in the

  121. book of Isaiah when it comes time for Easter

  122. we quote Isaiah 53 we go to Isaiah 53 we talk

  123. about 53. When it's Christmas, it's Isaiah 9,

  124. Isaiah 11. When we talk about the church, it's

  125. Isaiah 61. We talk about overcome on Isaiah 43.

  126. I mean, there's famous, famous scriptures throughout

  127. Isaiah that we quote all the time, and the Apostle

  128. Paul and Jesus quoted him all the time, and the

  129. Apostle Peter, and so he's a very important prophet.

  130. Isaiah prophesies about the Messiah, called Messianic

  131. prophecies, prophecies about the coming of Jesus

  132. and the Messiah. And he's the prophet who actually

  133. prophesies where Jesus is going to be born. He

  134. prophesies how Jesus is going to die. He prophesies

  135. the resurrection. He prophesies the entire ministry

  136. of Christ. He explains the ministry of Christ

  137. to you in his prophecy. You can actually exegete

  138. the Old Testament and end up with the New Testament

  139. Jesus because Isaiah was so... so systematic

  140. and so clear when it came to the Lord Jesus Christ.

  141. Now, Isaiah chapter 61 is the scripture that

    Isaiah 61 chapter mention

  142. I'm quoting to you this morning. Isaiah chapter

    Isaiah 61 chapter mention

  143. 61, which is also one of the most famous scriptures

  144. in the Bible because it talks about the spirit

  145. of the Lord coming upon us and what happens and

  146. upon the Messiah. And it's actually the job description

  147. of the Lord Jesus in Isaiah chapter 61. I'm going

    Isaiah 61 chapter mention

  148. to go right to... Luke chapter 4, and I'm going

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  149. to quote Luke chapter 4 in a moment. It might

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  150. come up on the screen, but don't pull it up yet.

  151. But in Luke chapter 4, we're going to tie Isaiah

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  152. 61 and Luke 4 together. And here's why it is

  153. so important. What's going to happen in the synagogue

  154. in that particular day? It's going to be... prophetic

  155. it's going to be history making it's going to

  156. be a shift in the heavenlies and the earth it's

  157. going to be something that had never happened

  158. before in the history of mankind it's going to

  159. happen in this little synagogue now the synagogues

  160. where Jesus was raised and it talks about this

  161. in Nazareth And it talks about Luke 4 and it

  162. explains that that was his town. Nazareth is

  163. only 6 ,000 people. It's a rural little town.

  164. And Jesus had four siblings, had a mother and

  165. a father. And we know that from Scripture. We

  166. know about Jesus' family. We know that he was

  167. a carpenter. We know that he lived in this little

  168. town. And we know from what he says in Luke 4

  169. and other Scriptures that he went to the synagogue

  170. every Saturday. That's when they had the meeting.

  171. was the Sabbath, was Saturday. And so it says

  172. that his habit was to go there every Saturday.

  173. So him and his family would have been in church

  174. every Saturday, probably for the entire 30 years

  175. leading up to this particular scripture. Therefore,

  176. everybody would have known who Jesus the carpenter

  177. and Jesus of Nazareth and the father and the

  178. mother, the whole thing. It was no secret. He's

  179. sitting right there. He's in the midst. They

  180. had no idea who he was, but he was there in the

  181. midst. And the synagogue, they had, kind of like

  182. we do with churches, they had an agenda. That

  183. is, they would write out an agenda. And the synagogues

  184. that were larger, the ones closer to Jerusalem.

  185. actually had full -time priests. And so they

  186. were paid by the Levitical system and they were

  187. paid by the people's monies and they were actually

  188. full -time 24 -7 priests. But in the rural areas,

  189. they were not full -time. They were lay priests

  190. and they would have a different job and they

  191. would work in the synagogue on the Sabbath. And

  192. because of that, they would lay out a different

  193. agenda that would have to be written out long

  194. before the actual Sabbath. actually took place

  195. in the synagogue about 12 months ahead they would

  196. plan a whole 12 month agenda just like we do

  197. as a church and they would have to plan the readings

  198. of all the scripture they would have to plan

  199. the opener they'd have to plan what psalms they

  200. were going to sing they would have to plan what

  201. priest was overseeing that day and they would

  202. rotate that out and then report to jerusalem

  203. priests who was actually like over that suburb

  204. and that's how the system worked according to

  205. josephus the historian who is the historian for

  206. the jews and the Jewish history, Josephus explains

  207. the whole thing. And so when you think about

  208. the synagogue and the part -time priests or the

  209. lay priests and what they're doing and the reading

  210. of scriptures, remember they had no New Testament.

  211. And so the reading of scriptures was with scrolls.

  212. There was no books. There was only scrolls. And

  213. the scrolls were very big, very bulky, and very

  214. hard to handle. They weren't like... Something

  215. like this little black binder here or a book.

  216. They were large and they were written on with

  217. large print. And for you to unroll them, you

  218. might have to unroll a long way to get one chapter

  219. because of the way the Hebrew was written. And

  220. so the synagogue built like a coffee table or

  221. I don't know what else you would call it, but

  222. it was a table that had little holes on the top

  223. of it. And they would place the manuscripts in

  224. the holes. So that they could plan the reading

  225. of the manuscripts. So that whoever is reading

  226. on that particular Sabbath. That person couldn't

  227. say, bring me Habakkuk or bring me Ezekiel or

  228. does anybody have the scroll? The scrolls all

  229. had to be planned, had to be found, had to be

  230. placed, had to be in order, what chapter was

  231. going to be read so that they could reach down,

  232. take it, open it up. And it was kind of a logistics

  233. thing. And so that's how the synagogue worked.

  234. They also had the readers who were lay people

  235. that would read the scripture, not just a priest.

  236. Anybody could be a reader. And they would assign

  237. that person months ahead of time. Now, I told

  238. you all that to get you into a frame of mind

  239. about what happens in the synagogue on this day.

  240. They came to church routinely. They didn't expect

  241. anything to really be supernatural or to be prophetic

  242. or to be any different than all the other Sabbaths

  243. they had been to for many years and years and

  244. years. There's only about 150 people in the room.

  245. That's the size of the synagogue. And so when

  246. they came to the synagogue that day, they were

  247. going to be introduced to something that would

  248. be a miracle of miracles because for the first

  249. time, the first time, and I can't remember when

  250. else this happened, but for the first time, the

  251. prophecy about the Messiah And the fulfillment

  252. of the prophecy. And the person who the prophecy

  253. was about was all going to emerge at the same

  254. time. And so the prophecy of Isaiah was 750 years

  255. prior to Christ. And so you go forward 750 years

  256. and you have this Isaiah 61 scroll. It had been

  257. placed in the desk to be read on that particular

  258. Sabbath. And lo and behold, the reader has been

  259. assigned, and the reader is Jesus of Nazareth,

  260. the carpenter. And so now on this day, which

  261. had been planned long before, there was no surprises

  262. on this except nobody expected what was going

  263. to happen when this prophecy was read because

  264. it was the launching of its ministry. All heaven

  265. was waiting 750 years for this prophecy to start

  266. because this would start the ministry of Christ,

  267. the new day. It would actually be the introduction

  268. of a new era. They would move from law to grace

  269. in one breath. They would move from old to new

  270. in one breath. They would move from Jesus. hidden

  271. to Jesus revealed in one breath. It was the beginning.

  272. It was the revealing. It was the manifestation.

  273. It was a miracle. It was an awesome thing. How

  274. many of you would have been ready for that? Now,

  275. you're my synagogue. Okay? Today, you don't have

  276. to take it the way I'm going to teach it. But

  277. I'm going to teach it this way. I believe that

  278. you're sitting in the middle of a miracle for

  279. your life right now. I believe that prophecy,

  280. fulfillment, and you are all going to emerge

  281. at the same intersection in just a few moments.

  282. And I believe that even though you routinely

  283. came to church like we all do sometimes and kind

  284. of forget everything that's in front of us and

  285. how big God is in the scriptures and what the

  286. Lord is doing with us. And sometimes we forget

  287. all that and we kind of get bogged down. We get

  288. bogged down. We get beat up. We get eclipsed

  289. by things. We get smothered. We get sidetracked.

  290. We get... Sinful habits that take over. We have

  291. a lot of things that are going on in this room

  292. on different levels in different people's lives.

  293. But I want you to bring that level down to one

  294. level this morning. I want you to kind of be

  295. the synagogue people that are sitting in a service

  296. on a Sunday in Harrisburg. But actually on this

  297. Sunday, God wants to do something that would

  298. be the seed for a miracle for your life. And

  299. that if you would scoot up to the Holy Spirit.

  300. But open your heart and say something's going

  301. to emerge this morning. Something's going to

  302. happen today. Because I'm believing I came to

  303. the synagogue. I came to church for a reason

  304. this morning. And I need a miracle in my life.

  305. And there's something that's beginning right

  306. now. And you know what? I'm going to believe

  307. for that something to be supernatural. And the

  308. beginning of something different from my life.

  309. God works with timetables. God works with calendars.

  310. And God marks certain days. We mark birthdays.

  311. We mark anniversaries. God marks certain days

  312. in our life for certain miracles and certain

  313. things. Now, read with me Luke chapter 4. Are

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  314. you there? Luke 4, 16. Now, read the words with

  315. me. I'll read to you. Think into the frame I

  316. just gave you. So he, Luke 4, 16. He, Jesus,

  317. came to Nazareth, a small little bedroom community,

  318. where he had been brought up. And as his habit,

  319. his custom, he went into the synagogue on the

  320. Sabbath. And he stood up to read. Now watch the

  321. language. And he was handed the book of the prophet

  322. Isaiah. He didn't choose it. The priest hands

  323. him Isaiah. And when he had opened the book,

  324. unrolled the scroll, he found the place, the

  325. place that was assigned for that day. How supernatural

  326. is this? Where it was written. Now you have to

  327. understand, in Luke 4, 20, 21 and following,

  328. and other commentators go a lot deeper than I

  329. would ever have time to do this morning. But

  330. you have to understand, when there's prophecy

  331. and fulfillment that merges upon a time and a

  332. person, something shifts in the heavenlies. And

  333. something happens in the spiritual realm. So

  334. when Jesus begins to read, I want you to notice

  335. the repeated word, me. And I want you to think

  336. about what's going on in that room when Jesus

  337. says, and the spirit of the Lord is upon me.

  338. And it was him. And some of the people are listening

  339. going, and I'm not making this up. If you keep

  340. reading Luke 4, you'll find what I'm saying to

  341. be accurate. Some of the people are saying, is

  342. this not? Joseph's son? Yeah? Why does he sound

  343. so different today? What kind of virtue is flowing

  344. out of him? Why do I feel so different about

  345. this? What's going on in this room? Well, there

  346. were some people that perked up and understood

  347. there's something happening here. Turn to your

  348. neighbor and say, there's something happening

  349. here. Just go ahead and say it. There's something

  350. happening here. What might that something be?

  351. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he's

  352. anointed me to preach to the poor. The gospel

  353. he sent me. You've got to know in this room these

  354. are the people. Heal the brokenhearted. That's

  355. not happened for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds

  356. of years and only with a minute few. The healing

  357. power of Jehovah God upon Israel or any of the

  358. nations that came under the influence of God.

  359. The actual availability. Of the healing power

  360. of God. Or the flow of a good news. Or them ever,

  361. ever, ever touching the spirit. Was one out of

  362. twelve tribes to begin with. And out of the twelve

  363. tribes. There was only one man that ever got

  364. into the most holy place. And so the presence

  365. of God was never felt. By everybody in all of

  366. Israel. Never happened. Except during 40 years

  367. during David's time. It's happened actually to

  368. David and other subjects. And some of the people

  369. touch it then. But the presence of God was not

  370. nationwide. Not worldwide for sure. The healing

  371. power of God was not something that was nationwide.

  372. I mean when Elijah did his seven miracles, we

  373. record them. And it was a huge thing to Israel

  374. that they had seven miracles. And when Elijah

  375. did 14, his successor, that was a huge thing

  376. that he had 14 miracles. Miracles and healings

  377. and these kind of things were not available to

  378. every person. But now Jesus is starting something

  379. new. He sent me to heal the brokenhearted, proclaim

  380. liberty to the captive, recovery of sight to

  381. the blind, set at liberty those who are oppressed,

  382. and to proclaim, to proclaim. That is that. That

  383. dictatorial word, this is a word in the Greek

  384. language that has the idea almost like a political

  385. bill that's been put in place and now the whole

  386. nation has to obey. The proclamation here is

  387. a legal term, it's a set term, and Jesus is saying,

  388. I now proclaim, I put into place this acceptable...

  389. Year of the Lord that starts right now. Well,

  390. the year of the Lord, acceptable year of the

  391. Lord, is the year of Jubilee. And it's with the

  392. trumpets and all that stuff. And, you know, it

  393. goes with the Feast of Israel. And this was not

  394. the time for the Feast of Israel. This was not

  395. the year of Jubilee. This was not the day of

  396. trumpets. Jesus cuts through the tradition of

  397. Israel and says, because the spirit realm is

  398. now going to be a new calendar. I proclaim to

  399. you that today is just like the blowing of trumpets

  400. and the year of Jubilee. And I'm going to set

  401. the captive free. I'm going to remove the debts.

  402. I'm going to bring healing to people's hearts.

  403. There's going to start a new era. And if you

  404. have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying,

  405. if you're brokenhearted, if you're in bondage,

  406. if you are in need of a financial release, if

  407. you are in need of a slave being out from under

  408. the bondage, if you're in need of all these things,

  409. I'm telling you that today, today is the acceptable

  410. year of the Lord. And when he was preaching that,

  411. there were some people that leaned in and said,

  412. is he saying that the brokenhearted can be healed

  413. right now? Because I have a mother who's brokenhearted,

  414. who lost her son. And I have a friend who just

  415. went through a miscarriage. And I have another

  416. friend who is so brokenhearted with life and

  417. dysfunction. Is he saying that the brokenhearted

  418. can now be healed? Is he saying that today marks

  419. a new day? Is he saying that something is beginning

  420. here that we can actually enter into? Because

  421. I feel like he's talking right to me. And he

  422. was. And Jesus was saying, if you can believe

  423. this and you're brokenhearted, heavens are open

  424. for you. And if you can believe this and you're

  425. in captivity, I'm telling you right now, today,

  426. right now, begins something new. Well, there

  427. were some people that leaned in and got it. Some

  428. people left bewildered. Some people left healed.

  429. You're in the synagogue. You have a heart. You

  430. have a life. You have a past. No doubt, you have

  431. a need. No doubt, I'm talking to somebody with

  432. baggage, dysfunctionalities, brokenness. No doubt,

  433. I'm talking to some people that look at other

  434. people and say, I wish I was them. I wish I had

  435. that. I wish I had that marriage. I wish I had

  436. those kids. I wish I had that job. I wish I had

  437. that health. I wish I would have done life differently.

  438. I regret so much. Is it possible that today could

  439. be a day speaking to the heart of every person

  440. in this room? It's a new day. New year. Now I'm

  441. focusing on one word in your Bible. That one

  442. word is the word to proclaim the acceptable,

  443. whatever your translation says. I'm going to

  444. take the original and I'm going to do one word.

  445. That word right there is the word favor. To proclaim

  446. to you the year of favor. Has begun. Because

  447. this so rocked my study. Sometime back. I decided

  448. I would collect. Every scripture in the Bible.

  449. With any words within the family of favor. And

  450. study them. Which I did. Saved you all the time.

  451. So I went back from Genesis right through to

  452. Revelation. And I studied the words favor. But

  453. with the word favor, you have to study the word

  454. blessing. And with the word blessing, you have

  455. to study also a few other words. There's six

  456. just in that one family along. There's nine in

  457. the favor family. There's all these other root

  458. words. And so you have to put them all together.

  459. And then you have to study them in context. of

  460. the chapter, the book, and the time, and what

  461. was being said, and try to understand what Jesus

  462. meant when he actually said, I'm going to put

  463. this word right now to work, and that word and

  464. what it means is yours. And so I've taken the

  465. freedom to put all of my study together, squish

  466. it down, and make it into one little paragraph,

  467. one little definition, big definition, that really

  468. explains the word favor. There's not a person

  469. in this room. That won't look at this definition

  470. and say. Are you sure? Are you sure? Yes I am.

  471. And I'll prove it. More than just me saying it.

  472. But here's the definition of the word favor.

  473. Aligning our life with God's blessing. Alignment.

  474. Now I'm quick to say. And quick to help. What

  475. I'm saying today. Only can come to a believer.

  476. There are favors of man. There's a favor of mankind.

  477. You can have favor. In many different ways. Without

  478. knowing God. I understand that. I am not debating

  479. that. But there's a specific kind of favor. That

  480. only God can give. And that's the one I'm talking

  481. about. And this is the favor. That the Bible

  482. talks about. Align in our life with God's blessing,

  483. grace. Grace is the actual New Testament word

  484. for favor. And favor, that positions us. Now

  485. here's the definition. What does favor position

  486. us for? According to all my studies, here's the

  487. pieces. Increased influence. Supernatural turnarounds.

  488. Limitations broken. Dreams awaken. Something

  489. that was dead comes alive. Missed opportunities

  490. redeem. No one can do that one but God. One of

  491. the big words in America is the word regret.

  492. We have medications, we have counselors, and

  493. we have a huge mass of people that suffer from

  494. regret that they can't remove. regret that brings

  495. shame and guilt and ill health because of regret.

  496. If only I would have, if I could go back and

  497. change, if there was a way for me to reverse

  498. that, if I wouldn't have been so stupid, I would

  499. go back and untie that thing. Well, you can't.

  500. You can't go back. You can't untie. You can't

  501. change what's been done. But God can use it.

  502. God can take what was meant for your destruction

  503. and make it work for your good. God is so good

  504. at this that when he brings it back around, he

  505. brings it back around better than when you lost

  506. it the time before. That's what we call grace.

  507. Guilt, shame, and destruction is devil. Grace,

  508. restoration, and hope is Jesus. And so he comes

  509. along and says, you don't have to regret. I'm

  510. going to allow you to come back around a different

  511. way with that missed opportunity. I'm going to

  512. turn it into an open door of opportunity. Say,

  513. oh God. Don't tease me. He doubts him. Favor

  514. causes missed opportunities to be redeemed. Wide

  515. open new doors of divine possibilities. Now,

  516. if I was in a room with you, and I was a bona

  517. fide, absolute, accurate, unbelievable prophet,

  518. and my history had gone for... 30 years of whatever

  519. I prophesy comes to pass every time. And I was

  520. in a room with you by myself and you're sitting

  521. there. And we screwed up knee to knee. And I

  522. say to you, God wants to put favor on your life.

  523. No, Frank, you can't do that because, you know,

  524. I'm not worth putting favor on. Besides that,

  525. you know, I've asked for it before. No, I just

  526. want you to shut up for a moment. And I want

  527. to say to you, God wants to put his favor on

  528. your life. He wants to proclaim it over you as

  529. a position. He wants to increase your influence.

  530. I don't have any influence. I don't even know.

  531. Just listen. He wants to somehow bring turnarounds

  532. to your life, a direction you can't turn, but

  533. he can turn it. opportunities arise, dreams awaken,

  534. and I start prophesying this over your life.

  535. And somehow you just finally lean into it and

  536. say, okay, I got it. I got it. It's not because

  537. of me. I can't earn it. Are you ready for this?

  538. And I can't stop it. I didn't buy it. And I can't

  539. pay for it. It's not because of my goodness.

  540. It's not because of everything I think. I should

  541. have done and could have done. And if I was a

  542. better righteous man, if I was more like a Mother

  543. Teresa or more like a Billy Graham, if I was

  544. more like, you know, one of the real saints of

  545. the Most High God, I could understand that God

  546. would want to put favor on my life. But I'm just

  547. a no -good -for -nothing kind of a person. I've

  548. made so many mistakes. I've hurt so many people.

  549. I don't even see how I can help. It's you that

  550. God is talking to because you can't earn it.

  551. You can't buy it. You can't beg it. You can't

  552. stop it. It comes because of the cross of Christ.

  553. And the love of God. And the unconditional compassion

  554. of God. And the grace of God. And he puts it

  555. on your life. He puts it on your life. Puts it

  556. on your life. Favor. Now. If you had. faith to

  557. do this, I think I'd ask you to do it. I did

  558. it. Mark your calendar. Today is October 15?

  559. It's October 15 already? Jesus, no wonder I'm

  560. so old. Time fast. I'm slow and time is fast.

  561. October 15, mark your calendar. Put a formula

  562. onto it. And say for the next 365 days, I'm going

  563. to use the scripture literal and spiritual. And

  564. prophetic and application. Because faith is a

  565. funny thing. Faith doesn't work well without

  566. targets. Faith doesn't work well without hanging

  567. it onto something. So I'm going to say to you.

  568. Hang your prayer on October 15th for 365 days.

  569. For one year. And I want you to pray this prayer.

  570. Okay, Lord. Increased influence. I'm open. I'm

  571. ready. I'm believing. I'm proclaiming. I'm looking.

  572. And I'm not going to be so humble that I'll let

  573. it pass it by. When it comes near me, I'm going

  574. to grab it. Because I believe you're going to

  575. bring into my life supernatural turnarounds.

  576. And you're going to take the limitations off

  577. me. The limitations off my life. Why don't you

  578. start praying those pieces of favor. Believing

  579. that it's your year. You've had that year. You

  580. know, we go sometimes through seasons. Well,

  581. that year was this way and that year was this

  582. way. But I would like to just say to Harrisburg

  583. people. No matter what the background is. 365

  584. days of something different. Something new. Something

  585. bigger. Something greater. That will come to

  586. you. Through you. And bless others. Not just

  587. for you. Through you. That bless people all around

  588. you. So that the very first person you see. After

  589. this sermon, whether it's one of your believing

  590. friends or tomorrow when you go to work, I want

  591. you to say to someone, do you see there's something

  592. different about me? It's your hair. No, it's

  593. not my hair. Well, no, I mean, what is it? No,

  594. I want to tell you what it is. I was marked yesterday.

  595. You were marked? Was it bad? No, it was good.

  596. What were you marked with? I was marked with

  597. favor. My life is going to have increased influence,

  598. supernatural turnarounds, dreams awakened, missed

  599. opportunities turned around, and redeemed for

  600. me. The lid's going to be lifted. And I'm going

  601. to see the favor of God flow through me like

  602. you've never seen before. And they're going to

  603. say to you, can I get some of this? Say, well,

  604. only if you believe. Well, can you pray for me?

  605. I'll pray for you, but you've got to believe

  606. it for yourself. People want to be around people

  607. that believe favor is on their life. People want

  608. to be touched by people that believe that favor

  609. is on their life. And if you actually have a

  610. spirit of favor on you and you actually proclaim

  611. this over your life, I believe what I'm telling

  612. you is scriptural. And if you actually do this,

  613. you can influence other people to reach after

  614. what God wants to do for them because God is

  615. in the business of favoring people. That's what

  616. he likes to do. Okay. That was the introduction.

  617. I'm going to read three important scriptures

  618. to you. Follow with me. I'm going to read them

  619. in different translations because they work better

  620. with the original language. That's why I'm using

  621. this translation. The first one is 2 Corinthians

  622. 5 .18. 2 Corinthians 5 .18. This new situation,

  623. everyone say, new situation. Come on, talk to

  624. me, church. New situation. His holy God's doing.

  625. For he is the one who restored us to his. Come

  626. on. Shout it out. So he's the one who restored

  627. us to his favor. Now this is a great doctrinal

  628. verse, and it's right. Through the work of Christ.

  629. So this new situation that's coming upon my spirit

  630. again to remind me and help me. I understand

  631. that it's a situation that's come. Through the

  632. cross, through the work of Christ, that he's

  633. restored me to his favor. Now listen to this

  634. next one. 2 Corinthians 6 verse 2. Watch the

    2 Corinthians 6:2

  635. time frame keep getting smaller and focused in

  636. this verse. Hear what God says. Now watch. When

  637. the time came for me to show you favor, I heard

  638. you. I heard you. And when the day arrived for

  639. me to save you, sozo, same as in favor family,

  640. I helped you. Now listen. This is the... The

  641. time. The day. The hour. To receive God's favor.

  642. Today. Or better said. In the Greek tense. That

  643. is used right here in this verse. At this moment.

  644. In this present time. Now. It's a day to be favored.

  645. When I read this verse, it reminded me of something

  646. I experienced as a kid, something I couldn't

  647. figure out. I was born and raised in my dad's

  648. church, but I was never saved, not until I was

  649. 17. In the Jesus People movement, I wasn't saved

  650. in my dad's church. I had my problems. A lot

  651. of it was in my mind, some in my heart. But I

  652. can remember Sunday after Sunday, because my

  653. dad's a Baptist, and this is what they did Sunday

  654. after Sunday. There would always be at least

  655. one, sometimes three, five, seven, ten, but there

  656. would always be salvation. They would always

  657. come to the front. He'd always take them by the

  658. hands, and they would pray the sinner's prayer.

  659. Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sins. Come into

  660. my heart. Be my Savior, etc. And I used to sit

  661. there as a kid, as long as I can remember, even

  662. back when maybe I was six or seven or eight,

  663. as long as I could remember, it would baffle

  664. me. Because I would watch these people, then

  665. I would listen to my father, and he would say,

  666. these people have passed from death to life.

  667. I'd be thinking, how? These people are now going

  668. to heaven, not hell. Jeez. How? These people

  669. are now, and he would go on, it would be the

  670. same kind of thing every single week. I couldn't

  671. grasp that words could change a destiny. I couldn't

  672. grasp it. You mean to tell me that if I just

  673. say out loud, Jesus, forgive me of my sins, come

  674. into my heart, that I now will not go to hell,

  675. which is an eternal damnation. I mean, the Baptists

  676. preach hell very descriptively, and with every

  677. imagination possible, you could fill the flames

  678. on your bottom. I mean, it was the way they preached.

  679. And it was real, and it was forever, and it was

  680. eternal, and it was the mark of the beats, and

  681. it was the dragon, and it was the demons, and

  682. it was the suffering, and it was people's...

  683. begging for a drop of water. It was in the deepest

  684. darkness and eternity. I mean, I listened to

  685. it my whole life. But I couldn't grasp words.

  686. I said, it's not possible. It's not possible

  687. that words can change an eternal destiny. I don't

  688. believe it. And I lived my life until I was 17.

  689. And then... I have my own testimony, I can't

  690. give you that, but I got saved and I used words.

  691. But my words were not rehearsed, written script.

  692. They were a cry. They were simply, oh God, I

  693. have screwed everything up. Is there any hope

  694. for me? It wasn't the typical, Jesus come to

  695. my heart and forgive my sins. It wasn't scripted.

  696. And I wasn't thinking about a script. I wasn't

  697. thinking about pleasing anybody's doctrinal stance

  698. on salvation. But there was something in my heart

  699. that was crying out to God. And God heard it.

  700. And in that moment, something shifted in Frank

  701. DiManzio's life. By a heart and a mouth. which

  702. Romans 10 .10 says, confess with your mouth what

  703. is in your heart, and thou shalt be saved. It's

  704. true, it's real. I say all that to say this.

  705. In this verse right here, what really gets me

  706. is where it says, when the time came for me to

  707. show you a favor, those three little words right

  708. here, I heard. I heard you. I heard you. Sometimes

  709. the words of faith are not heard or spoken by

  710. the human mouth. They're spoken in the heart.

  711. And the Bible is filled with the doctrine that

  712. God responds to the heart. To the broken heart,

  713. it says, I'm close. I'm right there, Frank. I

  714. am right there. When I was in the hospital during

  715. my cancer treatments, three years ago now, but

  716. from 12 to 5, 12 midnight, 5 in the morning,

  717. was always my lonely worst hours of my treatment.

  718. I had 300 hours of those. And I can remember

  719. being in that hospital bed and laying there.

  720. And I'm a dead man. I mean, unless something

  721. really shifts, I'm on my way out, not on my way

  722. in. And laying there, listening to the hum of

  723. the machines, the whispers of the nurses, the

  724. shadow lighting, no one else moving in the hospital.

  725. Quiet as quiet as quiet. That is when I prayed

  726. in my heart. And I would begin to talk to God.

  727. And sometimes I would be weeping, not even know

  728. I, I didn't even know I was crying. And the nurse

  729. would come and say, Frank, are you okay? Yeah.

  730. Why are you crying? I didn't even know I was

  731. crying. I didn't even know I was crying. Why?

  732. Because my heart was talking. My heart was moving.

  733. The deep peace of me was saying, oh God, I'd

  734. love to see my kids get married. I'd love to

  735. see my grandkids grow up. But if I go to heaven

  736. now, I got it. I understand it. Maybe, if you

  737. could. And my heart would pray, not my mouth.

  738. If you would ask me, when do you think God touched

  739. you during that dark season? It was dark. It

  740. was hard. It was horrible. Between 12 and 5,

  741. when there was nobody to talk to. And my heart

  742. would just start unraveling scriptures and prayers

  743. and cries. I'd actually prophesy to myself in

  744. my heart. Prophesy my healing. Prophesy my future.

  745. And my mind would fight with my heart. That can't

  746. happen. That's not going to happen. How can that

  747. happen? I mean, look where you... My mind would

  748. fight with my heart. But it's the heart that

  749. believes. It's the heart. So when this scripture

  750. says, and when you was in that place, and I wanted

  751. to show you favor, I heard you. I heard you.

  752. And you know what? When you said, oh God, oh

  753. God. I would like you to take a second with me

  754. right now. Close your eyes. And I want you, wherever

  755. you are in your journey, however deep, wide,

  756. different, needs for broken hearts to be healed,

  757. minds to be healed, life to be healed, futures

  758. to be healed, kids, grandkids, businesses. Stop,

  759. stop, so much stop in the room. Wherever you

  760. are, I want you to pause for a second right now.

  761. And I want you to say in your heart, oh God,

  762. oh God, I need you. God, I want you. God, turn

  763. this around. God, heal my broken heart. Oh, God,

  764. I need your help. I need your help. My husband

  765. is getting further away from me. I need your

  766. help. My kids. Oh, God. And I'm going to prophesy

  767. this to you. I heard you. I heard. And I'm going

  768. to prophesy it to you. And I'm going to help

  769. you. And I'm going to put it on you on October

  770. 15, 2017. And my favor is on you. And no one

  771. can take it away. I'm for you. I'm around you.

  772. I'm going to see this thing through. This is

  773. your year. This is your family's year. This is

  774. your business year. This is your church year.

  775. This is your health year. This is your year to

  776. say, and God heard me. God heard me. God helped

  777. me. His favor. Lord, we receive it. We receive

  778. it. Just spread your hands toward heaven and

  779. drink it in. Drink it in. Drink in healing. Drink

  780. in hope. Drink in transformation. Drink in stubborn

  781. habits broken. Drink in this thing called favor.

  782. I believe it. I release it. I take it. Favor

  783. for the unworthy. Favor for the unlikely. Favor

  784. that gives you a new edge for living. Favor that

  785. will surprise you and everybody around you. Lord,

  786. today we put guilt, shame, and weirdness behind

  787. us. We put favor on us. And we confess you're

  788. helping. You've heard us. And we receive it.

  789. In Jesus' mighty name, we receive it. We drink

  790. it. Lord, let it pour from me to my family, to

  791. the family of families. Let it pour from me to

  792. the unsaved, broken, hopeless people. that would

  793. never believe God would ever favor them their

  794. whole life. And they are exactly the people that

  795. God will favor. They're exactly the people that

  796. God will heal. If you feel that favor just drinking,

  797. pouring into your spirit, just stand to your

  798. feet. Just everyone, just stand to your feet.

  799. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you,

  800. Lord. Fresh, new. 365 days of what you feel right

  801. now. Fresh, new, opened. No more ruts. No more

  802. carrying the wrong stuff. No more beating yourself

  803. up for what you can't change. Take on a new spirit,

  804. a new robe, a favor. Be that child, be that person

  805. that says, oh God, this is going to be so good,

  806. I'm going to have to pinch myself. I'm going

  807. to have to explain it to people. They're going

  808. to watch this happen. They're going to say, why

  809. you? And I'm going to have to say, no, no, no,

  810. no, it's not me. It's not because I've done so

  811. many great things. It's the opposite. It's because

  812. I have so much need that God has put his grace

  813. on me. And he can put his grace on you. He can

  814. put his grace on your marriage and your family,

  815. your future and your heart. I'm always so taken

  816. back how much stuff people carry around. How

  817. much real stuff happens in life that is so hard.

  818. It's hurtful. It's hard. Life is the wind, the

  819. rain, and the storm. Okay, I got it. I know that.

  820. But there is a God who can cover you with a favor

  821. that would get you through it all. Through it

  822. all. Through it all. You receive this? You receive

  823. this in Jesus' name. Let's sing a song. If you
