  1. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are here and has sent

  2. a great man of God to speak the word to us tonight.

  3. I've had the privilege of knowing Pastor Eric

  4. Butler in MFI. And he's been, him and I have

  5. sang some duets back in the day during prophetic

  6. meetings, just passing it off and prophesying

  7. at different levels. And I have always been impressed

  8. with, The caliber of the man that he is is integrity.

  9. In fact, as we've sat in many apostolic meetings,

  10. as we listen to different guys talk, look at

  11. each other and start laughing. Anyways, I really

  12. appreciate him. He's the real deal. He pastors

  13. in New Jersey. He has a wife and three children

  14. and they are a lovely family. I want you to give

  15. a big Life Bible welcome to Pastor Eric Butler

  16. as he brings the Word of the Lord tonight. Wow.

  17. You know, it's a lot of fun being here. I like

  18. to go places where I feel like I'm home and this

  19. feels like our church. You guys are a great congregation.

  20. You're a blessing. And I wanted to thank you

  21. for all your kind words, your hospitality, your

  22. attentiveness to the things of the Lord, especially

  23. to Pastor Brad and Jen. Just give them a hand

  24. today. You have tremendous pastors today. Wonderful

  25. leadership team here. I'll give you more than

  26. a song for a song with yourself. Amen. But I

  27. just wanted to tell you today, it's really been

  28. a lot of fun and I feel really good. I mean,

  29. just atmosphere is beautiful. Just to give you

  30. a little bit of background on myself, because

  31. it's my first time here, I've been following

  32. the Lord for a pretty good while now. I got saved.

  33. I was telling my story today to Mark and his

  34. wife today. I got saved at college many years

  35. ago, and my wife actually led me to the Lord.

  36. I had an encounter on the first day I ever met

  37. Jesus. I had an encounter with God, and I was

  38. baptized in the Holy Spirit. I got saved. I'm

  39. not from the West Coast, but God always sends

  40. me to the West Coast to preach. I've been preaching

  41. on the West Coast for years and years. I don't

  42. know why. I said, God, why you have me taking

  43. all these long flights? But it's always somebody

  44. in California, Oregon, and all up and down, and

  45. Arizona. I've preached at a lot of places over

  46. the years. And I am the father of three wonderful

  47. daughters. They're in their late 20s and 30s

  48. now. And I got married when I was 10. I've been

  49. married for 36 years. And I got married when

  50. I was 10, so now you know how old I am. Just

  51. in case you were trying to figure that out. But

  52. we've had a good time, and I've been pastoring

  53. for 30 years this June. So I've been around.

  54. I've been around. I've seen a lot of things,

  55. and God has been really blessing me. And it's

  56. just, you know, it's like a renaissance, a whole

  57. other level of fun that takes place. You know,

  58. when you find in the body of Christ, when you're

  59. serving God, when it no longer becomes fun, it's

  60. boring. But right now, it's a lot of fun. And

  61. it's exciting. So if you see us laughing a lot,

  62. that's because it's fun. God is good. God is

  63. life. God is joyful. And I wasn't a churchgoer

  64. as a kid. We didn't go to church. I don't come

  65. from one of those families that grew up in church.

  66. I was the first one saved in my family. There

  67. were no prophets, no apostles in my family. I'm

  68. the only one even to this day. And I had six

  69. other brothers and sisters besides myself. And

  70. yet God handpicked me. I'm one of those people,

  71. I always say, I'm probably a chosen vessel. And

  72. I just love the Lord and I'm glad to serve him

  73. wherever. And it is a ball to serve him. You

  74. know, I wanted to talk to you about two things

  75. tonight. I'll talk fast tonight. John John gave

  76. me a time frame. Bishop John John told me how

  77. long I have here tonight. But I do want to talk

  78. to you about two things. Number one, I came from

  79. a town in New Jersey that no one ever did anything

  80. big. You either got in trouble, most people where

  81. I lived, they got in trouble, they did bad things

  82. a lot of times, or they were just sluggards.

  83. They were people that never accomplished anything

  84. great. It was just one of those places that you

  85. lived, and I lived there until I was 18, and

  86. then I moved up to the northern part of the state,

  87. New Jersey. right next to Manhattan. I went to

  88. college at a college that was two miles from

  89. the George Washington Bridge. And I was always

  90. in New York and in Manhattan and all that stuff

  91. and, you know, everything that everybody always

  92. wants. But I found that a lot of times when I

  93. travel in the body of Christ, I look at people

  94. and many believers, many believers are people

  95. like we're going to talk about tonight. They

  96. want something, they desire something, but they

  97. don't finish. They start things, but they don't

  98. finish. Now, I want to read something to you

  99. out of 1 Kings, the 17th chapter, and I have

  100. an old -fashioned Bible with paper still, and

  101. it's going to just help me tonight. Just for

  102. a second, in 1 Kings chapter 17, it says, in

    1 Kings 17 chapter mention

  103. Elijah the Tishbite, was of the inhabitants of

  104. Gilead and said unto Ahab, as the Lord lives,

  105. Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand,

  106. there shall not be dew nor rain for these years,

  107. but according to my word. And the word of the

  108. Lord came unto him saying, and I'll stop right

  109. there. I want to go back. It says, Elisha the

  110. Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead.

  111. And so I stopped there and I looked at that and

  112. I said, well, why does it say that? No one had

  113. ever heard of Elijah. No one had heard any lineage

  114. about Elijah. But it says all of a sudden this

  115. man pops up in the Bible. Elijah, the Tishbite,

  116. tells you where he's from, what kind of person

  117. he is, the nature of the people. And then he

  118. tells you the town and the location, Gilead.

  119. Well, one of the things about people that were

  120. Tishbites, Tishbites were people. And this is

  121. a trait and a characteristic of the Tishbite

  122. people. They were people that would start things

  123. and they would get going on them and they would

  124. work and they would become diligent and they'd

  125. have vision and dreams and hopes and they'd get

  126. right to the point where they would begin to

  127. break through into a new dimension. But before

  128. that, they would stop, become afraid, and go

  129. back. Kind of like the picture of... the great

  130. classic, The Wizard of Oz, when you see the cowardly

  131. lion, when he goes in the hallway, when he's

  132. in Oz, in the Emerald City, and he's there, and

  133. they're finding out who the wizard is, and he's

  134. standing there behind the curtain with this big

  135. head appearing, and he's working the knobs, and

  136. they're trembling, and the music is heavy, and

  137. they're shaking, and all of a sudden, you know,

  138. he said, I am the great and powerful Oz, and

  139. the lion is standing there, and he says, what

  140. do you want, lion? And the lion starts to change,

  141. and he just runs away. He gets right to the point

  142. where he's about to have a breakthrough, and

  143. he runs back. You know the scene. He runs down

  144. the hallway, and he jumps through the window

  145. and breaks the glass. That's a tishbite person,

  146. starting things and never finishing them. It

  147. says he was of the inhabitants of Gilead, and

  148. the Gileadian people were people that were born.

  149. That word means the dunghill. It means the rocky

  150. place, the hard place. So this man grew up in

  151. a place that was tough. It was rugged. It was,

  152. for lack of better terms, it was the dung hill.

  153. Amen. I'll just use that phrase tonight. No one

  154. ever accomplished anything. The place was full

  155. of dung, and he was there. He had a bad start,

  156. I would say. And when he would try things, nothing

  157. would work. But when we finally catch up with

  158. him, God is about to do something in his life

  159. that's bigger than where he's been. So it says

  160. Elijah the Tishbite, he said of the inhabitants

  161. of Gilead, he said, starts to speak. Now he's

  162. already a prophet. And he speaks to a king at

  163. this point. And he says, as the Lord God lives,

  164. okay, for whom I stand, there shall not be rain

  165. or dew until I say so. So he had a confidence

  166. that was unique. The prophetic word was on him,

  167. it was heavy, and he was a serious guy. But God

  168. knew he needed more. Sometimes we can come into

  169. this thing and we have the word of the Lord and

  170. we're confident, and we've been living off of

  171. that stale word for a long time. And I look around,

  172. I've been all over preaching the gospel for years,

  173. and I've seen all kinds of denominational groups,

  174. all kinds of ethnic groups. I've seen all kinds

  175. of folks over the years. And one of the things

  176. I always see is people become underachievers.

  177. All right, let me hurry up because I'm explaining

  178. this too much. And so God says, that's nice.

  179. Listen to what Elijah says. He said, but according

  180. to my word. So God's looking at him like, oh,

  181. all right. Your word, huh? Every word that you

  182. and I speak will be tested. How many ever made

  183. deals with God and say, God, if you get me out

  184. of this, I'll do this. That's the big one. We

  185. always make the old deal. Or God, if you help

  186. me to get this, I'll do this. I promise if you

  187. give me that promotion and that raise, I promise

  188. you I'll tithe 59%. God listens to your words.

  189. But one thing he knows about words, words have

  190. to be proven. Words have to be qualified. Words.

  191. have to have character behind them. The force

  192. behind a word of the Lord or a word that we speak

  193. prophetically is the character and the nature

  194. and the faith of God that pushes it into manifestation.

  195. And God knows when we're just flapping our gums,

  196. as people say, and then he knows when we're talking

  197. for real and he says, good, now I have to bring

  198. you somewhere. So after this, it just simply

  199. changes. And then he says this out of nowhere.

  200. This is a weird chapter. He says, arise. And

  201. turn, verse two, verse three. He says, and turn

  202. eastward and hide yourself by a brook called

  203. Cherith. He said, hide yourself by the brook

  204. Cherith. Now that's strange. Hide yourself? Why?

  205. Because whenever God is about to operate, God

  206. is the master at working on things in the dark.

  207. He doesn't let everybody see him when he's doing

  208. what he's doing, but he works in the dark before

  209. he brings it to light. That's why he takes the

  210. negatives and he works on them in the dark to

  211. bring forth a beautiful picture many times. He

  212. said, hide yourself in a brook chair. You know,

  213. what we're talking about tonight is launching

  214. a beginning. A lot of times when things are in

  215. their new stage, it's a joyful thing. Like when

  216. people first have a baby or when somebody gets

  217. a new car, you get a new house or a new job or

  218. something like that. It's a new beginning. And

  219. it should be a lot of joy when you have a new

  220. beginning. And see, beginnings are a psychological

  221. phenomenon more than anything else. Like I remember

  222. when I got a car. Well, now it's five years ago.

  223. But when I first brought my car home, it was,

  224. you know, a used car. But I brought it home.

  225. That night I brought it. It was the first night

  226. there. I looked out the window about 11 o 'clock.

  227. You still there, ain't you? You look good. Oh,

  228. I like that black color. You shining. Then I

  229. went out there and just, just to talk to you.

  230. Now, if somebody would have really seen me doing

  231. this, they would have said, he's crazy. There's

  232. something wrong with this guy. But anytime we

  233. have new beginnings, there's this thing. You

  234. see, new beginnings involve new understandings.

  235. They involve new values. They involve new attitudes.

  236. They involve new dispositions. They involve all

  237. these things that take place. They involve new

  238. identities. They involve all these things. And

  239. so we see Elijah. Elijah's about to step into

  240. a new beginning. But before he can step into

  241. it, he has to go to Cheris. And the word charis

  242. means this. It means to cut away from. It means

  243. to divorce yourself from. It means to unmarry.

  244. It means to cut down as though you would cut

  245. down a tree. It means to go to the executioner.

  246. It means to, actually the word tabach means to

  247. go to the butcher. So when he says, I want you

  248. to go to church, he said, I want you to go to

  249. a place where I'm going to cut everything off

  250. of you that needs to be cut off of you so that

  251. you can be prepared to stand in the new day.

  252. Now, I'm from the East Coast, folks. We get a

  253. little emotional. We walk around. We, you know,

  254. I know West Coast preaching. When I get quick,

  255. or we used to say back in the old days, get happy,

  256. I start boxing like this. That's my move. I'm

  257. just letting you check it out now. When the message

  258. gets good to me, I'll start, watch out. He says,

  259. go to Cherith, because there I'm going to take

  260. you to the executioner. I'm going to take you

  261. to the butcher shop. You're going to be the item

  262. that's going to be cut. To go to Cherith, it

  263. means you have to be cut and that you are going

  264. to cut away from your life anything that is hanging

  265. on you, hindering you, stopping you from going

  266. forward. It has to be cut off. Mindsets, mentalities,

  267. fears, phobias, anxieties, they've got to go

  268. if you want to go with me. The church is in a

  269. place right now, in this country especially,

  270. where she needs to go to Cherith. She needs to

  271. go to the place of the cutting away of old habits,

  272. old styles, old mentalities, old theologies,

  273. all the stuff that's no good. She needs to go

  274. to the butcher and let the sword of the spirit

  275. shave her down. Is this too violent of a message

  276. for you? Okay. The Bible speaks very clearly

  277. of a lady in the scriptures. We all know, and

  278. I'll just get to this real quick. Abraham was

  279. a great man. And you know, Abraham is the man.

  280. Father of the faithful, the father of faith,

  281. we call him. But he had a family member named

  282. Lot. And that was his buddy. And he wanted to

  283. bless them. And you know the story that they

  284. had land together. They had shared land and property.

  285. And Lot had this attitude that he wanted his

  286. own thing. And, you know, he could do it better

  287. than Abraham. A little competition between his

  288. herdsmen and Abraham's herdsmen. And they wanted

  289. to separate and have their own thing. So Abraham

  290. said, listen, son, I'll tell you what. You pick

  291. where you want to go. And the Bible says that

  292. Lot pitched his tent towards Sodom. He went to

  293. a place that looked good, looked green, looked

  294. moist, looked opportunistic. He said, and he

  295. went there. And they left. They left the security,

  296. the foundation. They left the land of faith.

  297. They left the man of faith. And they went there.

  298. And you know the story. The Bible says that God

  299. told Abraham, let him go because he doesn't know

  300. who he is. He doesn't identify with who you are.

  301. and what I'm doing in your life right now. And

  302. so he has to go away from you. And he took his

  303. wife and his children, and he goes there, and

  304. he's there for a little while. And the Bible

  305. says later on that righteous Lot, they called

  306. him, his spirit was vexed while he was in that

  307. particular place. See, you can have the word

  308. of the Lord and the word of faith, but you can

  309. be in a place where you could be vexed because

  310. you're not supposed to be where you are. vexing

  311. speaks of a conviction and sometimes we are in

  312. a place where we misinterpret a word that is

  313. given and we find ourselves in the wrong place

  314. wrong time with the wrong people in the wrong

  315. season of our lives and there's wasted time but

  316. God had to let him go through this So he could

  317. actually bring deliverance to them. Thank God

  318. that Abraham was an interceding man. And God

  319. shows up at Abraham's house in Genesis chapter

    Genesis 18 chapter mention

  320. 18. When Abraham stood in the doorway, the scripture

  321. says, in the plains of Mamre. And he was there

  322. looking. And the theophany that God had came

  323. to Abraham's house to fellowship with him. God

  324. came to his house to tell him he was going to

  325. have a son. And he's there and he says, go clean

  326. the calf for me. And go get the animals and let's

  327. prepare a meal. Our guests are here. And he knew

  328. it was God. And as they sat down and they began

  329. to talk, God was there, and he was looking at

  330. them, and he said, everything's cool, huh? He

  331. said, yeah, everything's cool. He said, where's

  332. your wife? He said, well, she's over here. And

  333. he called Sarah, and he said, around this time

  334. next year, I'm going to be back, and you're going

  335. to have a child. And Sarah laughed. You know

  336. the story. And she laughed at him. And he said,

  337. why are you laughing? Now, listen to this. She's

  338. laughing in God's face. When God gives her the

  339. word of the Lord. And so what happened? He said,

  340. why'd you laugh? She said, I did not. She's not

  341. only laughing, but she's lying. And so he said,

  342. this time next year I'll be back. He said, and

  343. you'll have a son. You're going to have a son.

  344. So while he's leaving, I get the picture. He's

  345. walking with Abraham and they're leaving. And

  346. he said, it says he turned his face towards Sodom

  347. because God never forgets your lineage and your

  348. family members. He still cares about unsaved

  349. family members that have been left behind. They

  350. might not be in church tonight, but God's eye

  351. is still on them wherever they are in this planet

  352. because he's been covenant with you. And he loves

  353. you, so he loves everything that's connected

  354. with you. And so he doesn't forget because he

  355. is the ultimate intercessor. So he walks with

  356. Abraham, and he says, listen, Abraham, I want

  357. to do something. I hear this cry, everything's

  358. bad. I'm going to have to cut this place off.

  359. I'm going to have to tear it down. And you know

  360. the whole story. And Abraham said, if there's

  361. 50 righteous lords, he said, don't destroy it.

  362. He said, I won't. He said, if there's 40, I won't

  363. destroy it. He said, if there's 30, I won't destroy

  364. it. 20. No, 10. If I find 10 righteous, I won't

  365. destroy it. He couldn't find 10. So he goes there.

  366. He sends the angels there. He said, go and get

  367. my nephew out of there. Go get Lot out of there

  368. because I'm going to destroy the city. Cherith

  369. is coming and I'm going to lay the ax to this

  370. place. But I have to separate him from this.

  371. And so you know the story. As they go there,

  372. and I'm not going to go into details about the

  373. sons and the son -in -laws and all that. But

  374. the angel comes and the angel says this, and

  375. I want you to catch this. The angel says to Lot,

  376. he says, get to the high place. They start to

  377. leave and they're running. And he says, get to

  378. the high place, to the high mountain. Come on.

  379. He says, time to come on. As they're running,

  380. you know the story. The kids are there. The daughters

  381. are there. But Lot's wife is running and she's

  382. a type of the church. And she stops like a tish

  383. bite. And turns back. She was turned to stone.

  384. She stayed at that level and never moved from

  385. that last move of God. And then Lot has this

  386. phrase to say, he says, well, the angel says,

  387. let's get to the high place. And he says, no,

  388. there's a little place over there. Maybe we can

  389. go to the small place. You see, what believers

  390. sometimes will do, and this is going to turn

  391. out good, so don't worry about it. It's going

  392. to be all right. Look at somebody and say, it's

  393. going to be all right. But what we do, we minimize

  394. the call of God on our lives. God might say,

  395. I have a big call. I have a big dream for you.

  396. And we might say, let me just go over there.

  397. That'd be nice to just stay at that place. He

  398. goes to this place called Zoan. The angel said,

  399. all right, this is where you want to go. And

  400. you know what happens to him. But his wife turns

  401. back. Many times believers will get words and

  402. they turn back. They turn back because of frustrations,

  403. because of past things. And they start to look

  404. at their past. And God says, no, no, don't do

  405. that. And they stop. And God says, I got more

  406. for you. But you get stuck. That's why I like

  407. being here. I know one thing about this church.

  408. Y 'all crazy. And y 'all ain't turning back.

  409. You ain't turning back. And so what happens?

  410. messes up, and that's him. The third dimension

  411. of the story with Elijah, he's fed in Cherith

  412. by a brook, by ravens. Ravens bring him bread,

  413. water every day. And sometimes when God is working

  414. on you, he uses unlikely characters to be instruments

  415. of blessing in your life. That's why you can't

  416. prejudge anything. You can't prejudge anything

  417. because you never know who God's going to use

  418. to be that instrument of blessing for you. And

  419. what happened? He's there and this killer, vulturous

  420. bird, that's a killer bird, is used by God to

  421. bring him bread every day. And he has to humble

  422. himself in Cherith as God is working on him and

  423. feeding him for his next move. He brings them

  424. bread, fresh word. Yeah, I hope you called it

  425. bread, word. He brings them bread, brings them

  426. bread, brings them bread. God has fresh word

  427. for you for the next move. This is very simple

  428. tonight, very simple. And so you know what happened.

  429. He drinks from it and then God says, now turn

  430. and go to Zarephath. And I believe that the church

  431. is headed towards Zarephath right now. I believe

  432. you're headed to the third dimension. I believe

  433. you're headed to this place. And he says, watch

  434. this. He says, rise and get you over to Zarephath.

  435. I have a widow woman there that's going to take

  436. care of you. Another unlikely character. But

  437. the word Zarephath means the dawning of a new

  438. day. And I believe, I believe. that God is causing

  439. us to come. Some of you tonight are coming out

  440. of Cherith. You've been in that place where God's

  441. been cutting and slicing and shaving and molding

  442. and shaping. And he says, now turn yourself to

  443. Zarephath because it's going to be a new day

  444. for you. Oh, it's going to be a new day. When

  445. you see prophetic words like we've seen here

  446. in the last two days, there is a new day coming

  447. for the region. There's a new day coming for

  448. the region. And that's why we cannot limit anything

  449. because the new day speaks of a lot of wonderful

  450. things. Do you know that when you talk about

  451. the dawning of a new day, that in Luke 1, 78

  452. and 79, what a long chapter Luke is, okay? It

  453. says a new day. will dawn upon us from above

  454. because our God is loving and merciful and he'll

  455. give light to those who live in the dark and

  456. in death's shadow and he will guide us into the

  457. way of peace. How many of you know Jesus is the

  458. new day? He's getting ready to take you and take

  459. this church into a brand new day. A new season,

  460. a new understanding, a new revelation. He's getting

  461. ready to take you to places you never dreamed

  462. of. Now, if I told you my testimony, all of it,

  463. I'm standing here. I'm nothing less than a miracle.

  464. Nothing less. Nothing less. I can tell you the

  465. bad side. I can tell you the glorious side. I've

  466. preached to politicians, prophesied to them.

  467. My kids used to sing in the White House in Washington,

  468. D .C. I got kids that, you know, went to the

  469. best colleges in the country. I mean, and God

  470. paid for it all. I mean, I'm a ridiculously blessed

  471. man. Ridiculously blessed. And ain't a shame

  472. to tell you. And I know it. Bad side, in street

  473. life, I had guns pointed at me as a kid. Three

  474. times. I almost drowned in a river, got bitten

  475. by dogs. All kinds of stuff happened to me. All

  476. kinds of bad stuff. Hood life, y 'all know what

  477. I'm talking about. But I've preached with the

  478. best. I've seen it all over this country. I've

  479. been around the world several times. In different

  480. continents. You know why? Because I refuse to

  481. be a tishbite. And when he says, let's go, I

  482. just say, yes. I don't try to figure it out.

  483. I don't question him. When he says, let's go,

  484. I want to use you. I was at a meeting in Dallas,

  485. Texas one day, and I was just in the back row,

  486. and I never push myself forward. and some heavy

  487. hitters were there. That's all I'll say. Some

  488. heavy prophetic, some heavy hitters in the prophetic.

  489. And one of them got up and said, said my name

  490. out of nowhere. I didn't introduce myself, didn't

  491. have a tag or anything. And they said, you don't

  492. belong in the back row. You belong here. Stuff

  493. like that happens to me. Why? Because I'm willing

  494. to do whatever he says. Stay with me because

  495. this is coming around the bend for you tonight.

  496. I'm telling you. God is getting ready to do something

  497. big. I've been a part of moves of God in our

  498. area. In New Jersey, back in the mid -90s, we

  499. had a move of God that affected the entire state.

  500. It rolled out of Toronto, but it affected the

  501. entire state. We had preachers from Brownsville

  502. and from Toronto in the midst of Jersey ministering,

  503. and these moves of God were powerful. I've been

  504. in another revival in Pittsburgh that went on

  505. for over a year and a half, and we had everybody

  506. you could think of. John Kilpatrick, Graham Cook

  507. prophesied. Oh, God. Dutch seats. All these guys

  508. were in there. And the move of God kept going.

  509. And I was a steward. One of the stewards every

  510. day when we would get up, they would allow me

  511. just to steward the meetings. Now, how did I

  512. get there? I've never been to Bible college.

  513. I never have any degrees. I got a degree in film

  514. and television. But it's the call of God on a

  515. person's life that makes all the difference in

  516. the world. Watch what God does in this day. You

  517. get ready to see people that were listed as nobodies

  518. become significant vessels in the hand of the

  519. Lord in this next move. Can I get an amen? I'm

  520. going to ask for one. I'm going to ask for one.

  521. And this is so true. Because we want God. And

  522. I'll prophesy, I've seen legs grow. I used to

  523. do background singing. This is way back. You're

  524. going to laugh at this one. I don't know if you

  525. ever heard of R .W. Schambach. I was a background

  526. singer for him when he would come to New York

  527. and do his meetings in the Bronx. I'd be right

  528. behind him, standing there, doing the old Pentecostal

  529. shuffle songs with the old organ. Yeah. And at

  530. the end, he would have us help him to pray for

  531. people. Impartation. And he would have us praying

  532. for people. And I remember one night we were

  533. praying for people and he told us, he said, listen,

  534. he said, when I get started, he said, just move

  535. the people across this platform. He said, just

  536. keep moving them. Don't let them stop. Don't

  537. let them stop. This is a word for you because

  538. you're going to be doing that. He said, don't

  539. let them stop. And we're sitting there. We said,

  540. okay. So they would come up and we would move

  541. them along. He would sit in this chair with a

  542. big paint bucket that was filled with anointing

  543. oil. And he would put his hand down and go like

  544. this, bang, bang. He did it all night. I watched

  545. him. As the people were coming across, they were

  546. coming across with crutches and canes and immediately

  547. instant miracles, bang. And they throw the canes

  548. away and run off the stage. But the one that

  549. got me, the one that got me, there was a lady

  550. that came across the stage. And he did the same

  551. thing. It seemed like on this one, he just went

  552. slower. Put his hand on her forehead. That's

  553. my cue. Okay. All right. Okay. Oh, okay. Yeah,

  554. we're landing. We're landing. I'm bringing it

  555. around the bend. I've been in all kinds of circles.

  556. It's fine with me. And so he took his hand and

  557. he put it on this lady and she was with her daughter

  558. and they were walking across. And the lady screamed

  559. when she got a little bit past us and she grabbed

  560. one of the guys that was an usher and grabbed

  561. his face and she said, you're beautiful. You're

  562. so beautiful. And her daughter screamed. The

  563. lady was blind. And got healed instantly. Right

  564. in front of our eyes. She had never seen before.

  565. That messed me up for life. I've seen legs grow.

  566. I've prayed for people with kids that have been

  567. in wheelchairs. 15, 16 year olds. They come into

  568. meetings and they walk out pushing the wheelchairs.

  569. Let me just tell you something. A new day is

  570. about to come. And in the new day, the power

  571. of God is going to show up like never before.

  572. The church that's coming is not going to be based

  573. on intellectualism, but it's going to be based

  574. on revelation and the power of almighty God.

  575. You better get ready for that. Listen to me.

  576. Listen to me. This is truth. It's going to be

  577. so packed in here, Pastor Brad. You're not going

  578. to know what to do. When the miracles start to

  579. happen, it's going to be like raindrops falling

  580. everywhere. Alcoholics delivered instantly. They

  581. don't need AA. Bam! With a hand. This person

  582. has crippled. Bam! They're going to walk out

  583. of here running. Bam! Blind eyes will start to

  584. open. Boom! Deaf ears are going to open up. You

  585. better get ready for this. Well, if you're going

  586. to praise God, give him a praise real quick.

  587. Because it's getting ready to come. Almost. Oh,

  588. Lord. Okay. I've been around revivals over and

  589. over. I've been in that atmosphere many, many

  590. times. My prayer is I've seen everything else.

  591. I've heard the great preachers, great revelations.

  592. That's nice. But I want to see people healed.

  593. I want to see Isaiah 61. I want to see the lame

  594. walk, the blind see, the dead have the gospel,

  595. the blind have hands they can see. He said, and

  596. the poor have the gospel preached to them. That's

  597. what's getting ready to come. That's what's getting

  598. ready to come in this country. Because this is

  599. the only thing that's going to save the United

  600. States of America. It's a powerful, national,

  601. Holy Ghost revival. Nothing else is going to

  602. save this country. All right, let me just give

  603. this to you, and I'll sit down. You can hit a

  604. notice if you want. Okay, okay. So the new day

  605. is revival. Everybody say, the new day is the

  606. revival that's coming. Revival means to do this.

  607. It means to recover, to repair, to revive, to

  608. restore. Recover, repair, revive, restore. It

  609. means to fan into flame and bring back into an

  610. original order. The original order. The original

  611. order that Jesus said in Matthew 28. He said

  612. what? Preach the gospel to every creature. He

  613. said, go into the highways and the byways and

  614. declare my word. Preach the kingdom of God. He

  615. said, lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

  616. That's the mandate he's given to the ecclesia

  617. or the ecclesia, whichever word you want to use.

  618. The body of Christ has turned this word church

  619. almost into a club, a religious club. That's

  620. why Jesus said to his disciples, he said, beware

  621. of the leaven of the Pharisees and of Herod.

  622. He said, don't get involved in a religious system

  623. that's formal and fashioned and traditionalized.

  624. He says, stay away from that. And then he said,

  625. the leaven of Herod, which is a murderer spirit,

  626. but it's also political. He said, don't get involved.

  627. that he said because it's gonna knock you off

  628. the course he said but you preach the kingdom

  629. of god It means to experience God coming down.

  630. Acts 2 .17 says, Acts 2 .17 says, I'll pour out

  631. my spirit upon all flesh. Sons and daughters

  632. will prophesy. Young men see visions. Old men

  633. dream dreams. It means to encourage, to reform,

  634. the purifying of doctrine, of the structures

  635. of the church. It means to engage in a renewal

  636. of the updating of the church. Revival, definitions.

  637. It means the sovereign act of God in which he

  638. restores his own. backsliding people to repentance,

  639. faith, and obedience. Supernatural times of refreshing

  640. that come from the presence of the Lord. It means

  641. an extraordinary movement of the Holy Spirit

  642. producing extraordinary results. It means the

  643. outpouring of God's Spirit resulting in people

  644. being saturated with God. It means the raising

  645. of esteem of Jesus that results in Satan's kingdom

  646. suffering with new miracles and healings saturating

  647. God's people. It means the sovereign work of

  648. God in which the whole region of many churches

  649. has been lifted out of spiritual... indifference

  650. into a fresh, brand new hunger of God. Is anybody

  651. here hungry tonight? Is anybody hungry for the

  652. Lord tonight? Charles Finney said this. He said,

  653. if the presence of God is in the church, the

  654. church will draw the world in. If the presence

  655. of God is not in the church, the world will draw

  656. the church out. Revival is a time when God visits

  657. his people and by the power of the Holy Spirit

  658. imports new life to them through the means of

  659. impartation. Revivals are not religious excitements

  660. stirred by cunning methods, slick methods, and

  661. hypnotic influence of professionalism. It's a

  662. move of the power of God. So what is revival?

  663. What is this new day? Help me. I get so full

  664. of the Holy Ghost, folks, because I was born

  665. in the Holy Ghost. I got to stop preaching. This

  666. is when I do this. What is it? Listen to this

  667. definition. You'll remember this. It could be

  668. brought to a full summation of these two words.

  669. God came. That's it. What happened? God came.

  670. What happened in that region over there in Oregon?

  671. God came. What happened in Brownsville? God came.

  672. What happened with the Arnauts in Toronto? God

  673. came. What happened in Baltimore, Maryland? God

  674. came. What happened when the God Chasers were

  675. there with Tommy Tenney? God came. And I'm telling

  676. you this prophetically, God's about to come again

  677. to his people. Look at somebody and say, your

  678. new day is about to arrive. Get ready. God bless

  679. you. Oh, I feel it's going to happen here. There's

  680. going to be a lot of meetings where you're going

  681. to have to change some structural things eventually.

  682. And I know you're a man of order, but it's going

  683. to be fun because you like the Holy Ghost too.

  684. There's going to be meetings where people are

  685. going to be laying out all over this carpet.

  686. Crying out in desperation to God. I see it. I've

  687. been in it. I've experienced it. And it's coming

  688. here. I'll give you the billboard revelation.

  689. Coming to a theater near you. Revival. It's coming

  690. here. It's coming here. Why? Because you've left

  691. the Gileadian mindset. You're not functioning

  692. as Tishbite people where you walk up to it and

  693. you run back. You know why I say that? We were

  694. talking today. We see meetings all the time where

  695. if they're too long, folks get up and leave.

  696. Ain't nobody left from these meetings. That's

  697. called Ebonics. But anyway, let me leave that

  698. alone. But usually people leave. You stayed and

  699. watched everyone being prayed for. Because you're

  700. hungry. You're desperate. You're starving. And

  701. you want more. And God says, if you're hungry

  702. and you're desperate and you're crying out for

  703. me, he said, I will pour water upon him who is

  704. thirsty. And this place is not only a well, but

  705. it's a thirsty well. It's a well springing up

  706. into life everlasting. And the thirsty are going

  707. to find their way to this place. Stay thirsty,

  708. my friends. And that wasn't just something that

  709. was just canned, that was fresh for us tonight

  710. and fresh for where we're at. And thank you.

  711. Thank you, Pastor Eric. Listen, the prayer room

  712. is going to be open right now for those that

  713. need a touch in your body. Our healing team is

  714. moving right now as I'm saying this. If you need

  715. a touch in your body, your soul, you like people

  716. to lay hands on you, we're going to go ahead

  717. and do that right now. They're just moving there.

  718. Fact is, in just a little bit, if I could have

  719. some of my staff and elders come to the altar,

  720. we're going to begin to pray for those that will

  721. bring their first fruits cards. But I want to

  722. pray for us as they're moving now. Hallelujah.

  723. Awesome. Thank you. I want to pray for... You're

  724. going to come and do that after I dismiss, but

  725. I want to pray just that we would receive the

  726. word that was given to us. You know, I've never

  727. heard a message about a Tishbite or the Gilead

  728. thing. I've heard the Zarephath, but that's incredible.

  729. Sweet revelation in the scriptures. So Father,

  730. we just lift our hands tonight. Lord, we say,

  731. let us catch what we receive. Help us to embrace

  732. it. We receive what you're saying. Lord, finish

  733. cutting off everything that needs to be cut off

  734. and move us into the new day. Move us into the

  735. new day that we will not back down. We will not

  736. come up and just flirt with it or Lord, just

  737. touch it from afar. but we will embrace it, Lord,

  738. by the principles of Scripture and by the fire

  739. hunger of the Holy Spirit. We will grab onto

  740. it, and we will be godly stewards of what you

  741. want to do in this region, in these states, the

  742. western half that begins to burn, not with flame

  743. of fire on the mountains and burning trees, but

  744. living, planted. trees of righteousness carrying

  745. the fire of God. Lord, let it happen here. We

  746. receive it. We embrace it. We say, yes, Lord.

  747. And everybody said, amen. Amen. Those of you

  748. that brought children, go get them quickly. In

  749. Jesus' name, the rest of you, you're welcome.

  750. If you brought your first fruits commitment card,

  751. please come. We want to pray for you. Hallelujah.

  752. Have a great night. We'll see you tomorrow morning.
