In the next 25 minutes, we're going to hear a

great, powerful, impacting, life -changing Word.

Amen. I believe it. You guys know, and I want

to just introduce again, it's our privilege to

have Mark and Cheryl Cargill from Tucson, Arizona.

Would you give a Life Bible welcome to Mark Cargill

as he comes and brings the Word of the Lord?

That warm welcome, thank you for your wonderful

hospitality, incredible pastors here in the house,

and you are, I just wanna commend you, just being

so responsive and ready and hungry for the things

of God. And the Bible says, they that hunger

and thirst, you know what? They will be filled.

And so today we believe, and even this weekend,

believe that God is gonna be filling you up beyond.

what you could ask or imagine. I also wanna just

commend my wife for just such a step of faith.

This is really kinda her first time of really

stepping out and giving the word of the Lord

with me. And I think she's done well. She's really

developing that prophetic gift, she's awesome.

And it's just a joy and privilege to be. with

John John and with Pastor Eric. I've never ministered

with Pastor Eric before, and man, the guy's just

an amazing, wonderful man of God. I've been so

blessed to get to know him, and it's just a privilege

to be here today. I want to just start out by,

a few years ago, but it was actually about 10

years ago, a dear friend of mine, Pastor Wendell

Smith, went home to be with Jesus. I was at his

memorial service, and as I was there grieving

the loss of my dear friend and one of my really

spiritual mentors and fathers in the faith, I

had a vision. And I saw him just kind of ascending

out of that building where we were recognizing

and honoring his memory, and. just kinda seeing

him in the spirit, just ascending, and then a

mantle drifted down, floating down to the earth.

And I heard the spirit of the Lord just say that

mantles are falling, mantles are falling. A few

years later, just not too long ago, Brother Dick

Iverson also went home to be with Jesus. Again,

in that hall where we were at, recognizing and

memorializing just such a wonderful and powerful

legacy of ministry. Again, the Spirit of God

came upon me and I saw that same vision again.

And the mantle falling down from the heavens

and landing in that room on people and on that

group of people. Spirit of the Lord spoke to

me today about our time with you today. And I

just wanna speak to you today about the subject,

I see mantles falling. And that's what I see

in this church. And I see upon this house, mantles

falling. One of the reasons why you have these

moments and these times when you have ministry

come in and prophesy is for an impartation. An

impartation, and that's really what a mantle

is all about. It's the passing of an impartation

from one generation to an ex, from one person

to an ex. to the next, to a group of people maybe

to the next, whatever, but we just, this mantle

of transference and impartation coming. And as

we jump in, I wanna go to 2 Kings chapter two.

Really can't talk about this subject without

going to this passage of scripture. And in 2

Kings chapter two, verses one through 15, it

says, and it came to pass when the Lord was about

to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind,

that Elijah went to, with Elisha. from Gilgal.

And then Elijah said to Elisha, stay here, please,

for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel. But Elisha

said, as the Lord lives and as your soul lives,

I will not leave you. And so they went down to

Bethel. And now the sons of the prophets who

were at Bethel came out to Elisha and said to

him, do you know that the Lord will take away

your master from over you today? And he said,

yes, I know. Keep silent. Elijah said to him,

Elijah, stay here, please, for the Lord has sent

me on to Jericho. But he said, as the Lord lives

and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.

So they came to Jericho. Now the sons of the

prophets who were at Jericho came to Elijah and

said to him, do you know that the Lord will take

away your master from over you today? And so

he answered, yes, I know. Keep silent. Then Elijah

said to him, stay here please for the Lord has

sent me on to the Jordan. But he said, as the

Lord lives and as your soul lives, I will not

leave you. So the two of them went on and the

50 men of the sons of the prophets went and stood

facing them at a distance and while the two of

them stood by the Jordan. Now Elijah took his

mantle, rolled it up and struck the water and

it was divided this way and that so. that the

two of them crossed over on dry ground. And so

it was when they had crossed over that Elijah

said to Elijah, this is pretty amazing, ask,

what may I do for you before I'm taken away from

you? You know, this is the most often question

of Jesus to people. This is the most often asked

question of Jesus to people who would come to

him. What do you want me to do for you? Here

Elijah says to Elisha, ask, what may I do for

you before I'm taken away from you? Elisha said,

please, let a double portion of your spirit be

upon me. So Elijah said, you have asked a hard

thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am

taken from you, it shall be so for you, but if

not, it shall not be so. Basically, that's the

prophet's way of saying, that ain't up to me.

That's on God. So what you get is what God says

you get. And it happened as they continued on

and talked that suddenly, a chariot of fire appeared

with horses of fire and separated the two of

them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into

heaven. And Elisha sawed and cried out, my father,

my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen.

And so he saw him no more and he took hold of

his own clothes and tore them into two pieces.

And he also took up the mantle of Elijah. that

had fallen from him and went back and stood by

the bank of the Jordan, and he took the mantle

of Elijah that had fallen from him, and he struck

the water. And it was divided this way and that,

and Elisha crossed over. Now when the sons of

the prophets who were from Jericho saw him, they

said, the spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha. Something

happened. In that moment, a supernatural impartation,

a transference took place, symbolized by a natural

piece of clothing, the mantle. And I wanted to

tell you today that I believe that there are

mantles falling from heaven on this church. There

is an increase of the mantle of God coming upon

this church and is in process of multiplying

now. Like the Joseph's coat of many colors, God

is adding some more color, another stripe to

the mantle. He's adding another color. to the

mantle. Some of you in this room, you have been

frustrated and you've thrown down the mantle

and walked away from it and today is your day

to come back because the gifts and the calling

of God is without repentance and he's saying

if you will abandon your frustration over the

delay and abandon your hurt and pain over maybe

rejection or your disappointment or whatever,

would you come back and just pick up the mantle

because it's still there. It's still there. Some

of you need to go back to the mantle of God that

he gave you and you have not walked in it. Some

of you are receiving a new dimension of the mantle

of God, an expansion of the mantle of God. Some

of you in this place are experiencing a fresh

renewing of the Spirit of God upon you and you're

growing into the mantle. And the growth is not

the mantle, the growth is you. I just wanted

to find the mantle for you. It's just my simple

definition. The sphere of grace, this is what

the mantle is. It's the sphere of grace and anointing

given by God to a person or a people. It's the

sphere of grace and anointing given by God. It's

not given by me. God may use me, but it's given

by God. I'm not the giver, he's the giver. I'm

just the messenger. He's the one that has the

message. He's the one that has the anointing.

He's the one that has the mantle. And so he is

gonna cause a mantle to come upon you. Some of

you, you're gonna see an increase of the mantle.

Some of you are gonna see the fire of God come

on you in a fresh way. But God is gonna put upon

you and release upon you fresh realms of the

sphere of grace and anointing that God has given

to you through the mantle of God. I wanna just

talk a little bit about the characteristics of

the mantle of God, and we'll see how far I get

in my five minute message. Because I wanna be

able to impart something to you, because this

message isn't about information, it's about impartation

and transformation. Some characteristics of the

mantle is this, the mantle is a symbol of the

calling of God. God calls you. by name. He calls

you for this moment. That moment came for Elisha

earlier on in the story of the kings, first,

second kings. In 1 Kings 19, it says that Elijah

departed from there and found Elisha the son

of Shaphat who was plowing with 12 yoke of oxen

before him and he was with the 12th. And Elijah

passed by him and threw his mantle on him. Just

threw his mantle on him. and Elisha left the

oxen and ran after Elijah. Why? Why did he leave

the oxen and run after Elijah? Because there

was something that he knew was about the mantle

that was gonna change him. He was no longer about

that momentary thing that he was doing in that

moment. Now something changed. The mantle came

on him and something changed. And from that moment

on, he was a different person. Because of the

calling. You know, Acts chapter two was a mantle

moment for the disciples. Interestingly enough,

I think it's funny to note that in Elijah's ascension

into heaven, there was a whirlwind and fire.

In Acts chapter two, the place where they were

sitting, there was the sound of a rushing, mighty

wind and tongues of fire sat upon each of them.

What was happening? The mantle of God was coming

upon the disciples in that room. There was a

mission that they needed to fulfill. They weren't

gonna be able to do it on a fishing boat. They

weren't gonna be able to do it in a carpentry

shop. They weren't gonna be able to do it just

giving their selves to that without the mantle.

Nothing wrong with fishing and nothing wrong

with carpentry, but you can't do it in a supernatural

way in the mantle and calling of God without

the mantle of God. And the Holy Spirit came and

changed the whole thing. In Acts chapter nine,

Saul received the mantle through a prophetic

word from Ananias. And later in Acts chapter

Acts 13 · chapter mention

13, God increased the mantle on Saul. In Acts

13, when he said, set aside to me Saul and Barnabas

for the work that I have called them to do and

sent them out. And from that moment, he was changed.

He was added to his mantle the apostleship of

the kingdom. He was a teacher. but then he became

and also an apostle. The mantle shifted. The

mantle shifted in a prophetic meaning, much like

this one. The mantle is also the grace given

for ministry. You have a sphere of grace. That's

your mantle. That's what the mantle represents.

And not all mantles are the same. My mantle is

not the same as John John's mantle, and not the

same as Eric's mantle, and not the same as Brad's

mantle. Our mantles are different. Even though

we all prophesy, and even though we all have

wonderful hairdos, we have different mantles.

Second, in 1 Peter 4, 10, the manifold grace

of God is referred to. It's the multi -colored,

the multi -faceted grace of God. There's a grace

for John John. There's a grace for Eric. There's

a grace for Cheryl. There's a grace for you.

There's a grace for me. And it's incredible how

we can maybe all prophesy, but we prophesy in

a unique fashion with unique revelation. Why?

Because there is a grace for us according to

the mantle of God. The mantle also can it also

represents the authority of God. The authority

of God. Much like the king or queen wears the

robes of royalty and signifies their authority,

so in the kingdom of God, the mantle on one's

life represents the authority that the Lord has

invested into your life. and you can walk in

that mantle and it carries with it an authority.

Why do you have authority over every work of

the evil one? Because God has given you the mantle

of authority to trample on everything the evil

one wants to bring against your life. You're

authorized for ministry when the mantle of God

comes upon you and an authority is given. Another

thing I've discovered about the mantle is it

can grow. The Bible says in 2 Peter chapter 3

2 Peter 3:18

verse 18, but grow in the grace and knowledge

of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That means

you can grow. Your mantle can grow. You grow

and the mantle grows. And Elijah's mantle was

passed to Elisha, but what did Elisha get? Did

he get Elijah's portion? No, he got a double

portion. How many in the room would like to see

a double portion? I believe there's a double

portion coming to this house. In a few years,

this house will double in size. It'll double

in its influence. It'll double numerically. It'll

double financially. It'll double in locations.

You're gonna see a multiplication and a multiplicity

to it. There is a increase of the mantle upon

this house. Mantles are falling. Mantles are

falling. Mantles are falling. But you have gotta

be willing and full of faith to go and pick up

the mantle and walk in it, receive it, embrace

it, and follow God with it. I have a lot more

to say, but I'm gonna end there. Because this

is the most important part of the message right

here. Ask. What do you want? This is the Lord

speaking to you now. What do you want me to do

for you? That's the moment that is so important.

about the receiving of the mantle. Ask. The mantle

is received and is operated in by faith. What

do you have faith to ask God for? I'm a miracle

right here. I shouldn't be here today. A few

months ago I was dying. I was literally dying.

My body was shutting down with a blood infection

required for me to have open heart surgery. My

mitral valve was corrupted. I should have been

dead. My body was shutting down. My wife came

into the bedroom one day, took my face in her

hands, and said, you shall live and not die.

And declare. The works of the Lord. Somebody

in this room needs to hear that. Somebody in

this room needs to say, amen, I'm gonna ask for

that. I'm gonna ask that I walk in the resurrection

power of the Lord. Some of the people are in

the room, you need to ask for a restart, a reboot,

a redo and say, God, is that mantle still there?

Oh, sure enough, it's there. Come back and you

say, God, would you restore to me the mantle?

He will. He will. Some of you want more. Ask,

how much more? I think I'd like to ask maybe

like 10 times. Double? How about 10 times more?

You wanna see the great awakening? How many would

like to see a great awakening in our world, in

our nation? Then I want more than what happened

with the Jesus people. I want more than what

happened with Charles Finney. I want more than

what happened with Evan Roberts. I want more

than what happened with Oral Roberts. I want

more miracles. I want more things happening.

I want more. Ask! Ask! Stand with me today. Mantles

are falling. Put your Bibles down. Put your hands

in the air. You want a mantle? Do you want a

mantle? I just wave this mantle over you today.

I wave this mantle over you today. One of the

things God's called me to do is to be a mantle

passer, a mantle giver, to pass a mantle to the

next generation. More anointing, more power,

more vision. more finances to do the mission

of God, more souls, more salvations, more disciples,

more power, more authority, more healings in

Jesus' name, more songs to be written, more students

to be trained, more high school and junior high

campuses to be reached. Oh, come on, the University

of Oregon needs a mantle to fall on it. The city

needs a mantle to fall on it. There's a mantle

that God's landing on the Eugene area, landing

on these counties around here. And there's a

mantle falling on this house to begin to see

it happen in Jesus' name. Now come on, lift up

your voice. And let's pray, Father, in the name

of Jesus, I pray for a mantle beyond what they

have asked, they have thought, they have imagined.

Let a new mantle come on them. Let an increased

mantle come on them. Let a powerful mantle come

on them. Signs and wonders and deliverance. Let

it come with a fresh mantle Let the wind of your

spirit blow and let the fire of God come down

in Jesus name Now let's give a shout -out to

God By faith, we see those mantles just falling,

being reactivated. Lord, your promise to Elisha

was, if you see the condition of seeing, Lord,

we just partner with it now. We see what your

Word says. It's your desire to clothe and to

robe and to give grace. Expansion vision release

the power of your kingdom upon every person We

receive them We receive it in Jesus name Amen
