I know you thought Jan was speaking, but thank
-
you for coming anyhow. It's a wonderful Lord
-
that we serve, isn't it? And every service, he
-
has done great things. He has. Jan this morning
-
was fabulous. I got right on the phone when I
-
got. back and told Debbie about it. I said, Jan
-
told such amazing stories. She said, I've heard
-
Jan's stories. I said, yeah, but these were really
-
good. No, Debbie loves you too. And excuse me,
-
that's my wife in case you weren't sure. Some
-
of you thought I was talking about my angel,
-
but that's not. I believe in angels, do you?
-
And they're here tonight. Because they are assigned.
-
Did you hear what I said? I'm a little uncomfortable
-
sometimes around people that only see devils.
-
And I understand about the activity of the demonic.
-
But we've got a bunch of boys on our sides. Come
-
on. That outshine all of the works of the enemy.
-
Every bit of it. Wow. Well, do you need a miracle
-
tonight? Do you really need a miracle tonight?
-
Have you ever had God say something to you but
-
more than once? Have you? There's something the
-
Lord has said to me periodically throughout many
-
years. Not every day, not every week, thank God.
-
Not even every year. But it happens periodically.
-
And it will usually happen like this. It will
-
happen when I'm walking into a church service.
-
And it makes no difference whether I'm actually
-
speaking or whether I'm attending. It can happen
-
either way. And I'll come walking on in, and
-
it will happen as I'm going to my seat. Not even
-
thinking about this. I'm just coming in to sit
-
down. Where am I going to sit tonight? That's
-
what it's about. I'm just looking to find a seat.
-
When his voice will come to me, and he'll say
-
these words to me, he'll say, Dale, you can have
-
as much as you want. Now you would think he's
-
saying this is going to be a bingo night for
-
you. But that's not what he's saying. He will
-
say to me, Dale, you can have as much as you
-
want. But do you want anything? Or have you just
-
come here on autopilot? Have you just simply
-
come out of routine? Or is there a burn in your
-
heart? A passion? for something great because,
-
and he will say it again, you can have as much
-
as you want. He doesn't say it to me often because
-
I don't think I come in brain dead most of the
-
time. I come in with a passion. But I got to
-
tell you, I think every one of us, every one
-
of us find ourselves at times just doing routine.
-
I'm going to say to you, do not let this night
-
be routine unto you. Come on, grab a passion
-
right now and say, Jesus, I want this tonight.
-
Come on, it just may be a greater revelation
-
of him, but you got to get something tonight.
-
Don't just come here and just listen to the speaker
-
and enjoy the music. Come on, let's meet with
-
the most high God and let us be transformed by
-
him. In that great, powerful way. So I'm going
-
to say it again. If you need a miracle, pick
-
out something specific tonight. I talked at length
-
about it last night. I'm not going to talk at
-
length about it tonight because many of you know.
-
Most of the miracles that happen in our ministry,
-
not all of them, but the great majority of them
-
happen as I'm preaching. As I preach the word
-
of the Lord. Look, this is no new thing. The
-
Bible says that they preached everywhere. I'm
-
quoting the end of Mark 16. They preached everywhere.
-
The Lord working with them and confirming his
-
word. With signs following. I'm only going to
-
be speaking the things that he is doing. And
-
what I'm declaring will be the unfolding and
-
revelation of what he is doing among us. So don't
-
wait for the end of the service to get a miracle.
-
You may get one then, but why wait to then when
-
he's already here now? And you can receive now.
-
And many, most of us will have a miracle shortly
-
into this. If not, it's already begun. Because
-
I already saw three clear healing streams again
-
in this room tonight. What I know, Jesus is moving
-
up and down these aisles. He's walking in between
-
these pews, if I may say it that way. He's touching
-
people right now. And miracles, come on, miracles
-
will take place. They will take place here. Not
-
somewhere else and not another time. Here. Right
-
now. He's that glory. And you want to keep your
-
heart open all the way through because it will
-
happen. In some cases, when you least expect
-
it, he is that glorious God. You know, I was
-
ministering in Florida not long ago, and it was
-
a church seating capacity very much like this.
-
The healing had happened throughout the message.
-
I'd called the folks up like I did last night
-
to show us what God had done. And they had stretched
-
literally like this across the building. And
-
we heard from one after another. But when I got
-
to the end, I saw a family coming down the aisle
-
with a little 10 -year -old girl. And they joined
-
the end of the testimony. Everybody knew them.
-
They were a long time. attenders and members
-
there. And the lady spoke up and said our daughter
-
went totally blind in one eye. She could not
-
see at all and lost a big portion of the sight
-
with the other. And the doctors were concerned
-
she would lose her whole sight. But they'd fitted
-
her with glasses and she was managing. And they
-
were sitting on the very, very back row of the
-
church. We're now near the end of the testimony
-
time when mom looks over and she sees her daughter
-
just playing there at the pew. You know, it's
-
a young girl in service. We've had the worship.
-
We've had the offering. We've been all preaching.
-
We've had all these testimonies. You know, she's
-
out to lunch. She's just playing. She's just
-
playing. But she had her glasses off. And so
-
it bothered her mother, and she spoke in a very
-
stern southern woman way and said, why do you
-
have your glasses off? And her daughter just
-
looked up at her and matter of fact and said,
-
oh, because I can see again. Just like that.
-
Oh, because I can see again. I got to tell you,
-
when I heard that, and then she demonstrated,
-
she had perfect sight in that eye that was completely
-
blind. I turned around to say to the folks, well,
-
we need to praise God. But when I did, the whole
-
place was already on their feet. And for the
-
next, oh, Lord, it was a long time. It was just
-
a constant outbreak of praise. By the way, this
-
is America. I love to see what he does overseas,
-
but let me tell you, Jesus is great right here.
-
And then as I was about to leave, a family came
-
down. They had one of those baby, what do you
-
call them, those little carriers that you put
-
an infant in, you know, that you can also have
-
for a car seat. They snap in and out. And they
-
walked up, and they said, I want to show you
-
what happened to the baby tonight. This wasn't
-
their child. They were foster parents. And they
-
said, this child is a little over a month old.
-
And she was brought into our services after the
-
orthopedic surgeon had fixed the broken hip from
-
the abuse. And this child had one leg this much
-
shorter than the other. We don't know when it
-
happened, they said, but we looked down a few
-
moments ago. And those legs are a perfect length.
-
And they checked the child, and the child had
-
no deformity left at all. And I thought about
-
that. I thought about this Jesus. And now, this
-
is the testimony, so I'm going to just give it
-
to you. That's what we know. The rest I'm going
-
to tell you is speculation. This is what I think.
-
But I think... that one who always knows and
-
who always cares, observed the abuse that happened
-
to that little baby. And I think that maybe he
-
had a hand in working through this bureaucracy
-
system to put her into that home because he knew.
-
that family that did not attend that church but
-
always came when that church had special events,
-
would be there on that first week of January
-
because he was going to walk into that room and
-
cure her that day. That's the one who's present
-
right now in awesomeness. Great power. Great
-
power. You expect your miracle. Pick one out.
-
Pick one out right now. And while I'm speaking
-
tonight, you look for something to happen between
-
you and him. We talked last night about the many
-
ways that could by witnessing your heart, by
-
a touch on your body that's supernatural, or
-
just like those folks that just a change. Why
-
don't you have your glasses on anymore? Oh, she
-
said, she did not say I felt a big touch. She
-
did not say I saw a ray of light. She just said,
-
oh, simply because I can see now. Maybe during
-
this message, you will see differently. You will
-
hear more clearly, or your pain will just go.
-
But one way or the other, look for something
-
more than just lights and speaker. Would you
-
do that? Look for the moment of the Almighty
-
with you. You know, I will confess to you, Pastor
-
Brad, that... It was a bit of a challenge to
-
consider what I would speak on in this house.
-
And part of that is for this reason. A lot of
-
times when I come to a place, my wife will say
-
to me, you preach the same thing all the time.
-
And she doesn't mean the same sermon. But my
-
sermons are simplistic. So she tells me, this
-
is what a great compliment. She tells me that
-
she says, I like your preaching better as a pastor.
-
Doesn't that encourage your soul? But as a pastor,
-
see, I had people that were maturing, and I could
-
build, and that's what she was talking about.
-
I would teach in series and would teach in depth
-
where when I come into a crusade, the message
-
is always a simple type of thing because I only
-
have about an hour in front of you, and I've
-
got to get you to a place from who is the guy
-
on the stage to getting a miracle from God. And
-
so I found that it is the simplicity of the gospel
-
that reaches the masses. That's what I've discovered.
-
But I know, I recognized immediately in this
-
house that this is a different kind of group.
-
This is a group that has a, you got some meat
-
on you. No, really, you do. You're a different
-
kind of group. I can tell it by the way you carry
-
yourself. I can tell it by the way you pray.
-
I can absolutely tell it by the way you serve
-
and also by the way that you worship. There's
-
a maturity level in this house that is different.
-
From many other places. Now that's a shame to
-
say. Did you hear that? That is. Come on we should
-
all be like this. And beyond. But obviously,
-
the gift that God has put in your house as your
-
pastor and his wife and others have created what
-
is supposed to happen, and that is the development
-
of the house of God. That is what the five -fold
-
ministry is all about. It's not about shining
-
just themselves, but lifting others up in that
-
way. And so for that reason, I tell you, I look
-
at it and I say, well, I'd like to preach some
-
of that other stuff that I'd love to get into.
-
But I want you to, you see, I think that there's
-
more than faith in this house to be healed. I
-
think there's faith in this house for impartation.
-
I think a lot of you, I think you'll get miracles
-
tonight. That's not the whole point of it. But
-
I do believe that some of you are going to walk
-
out of this place and it's going to be more than
-
just my ear here is better now or I don't have
-
pain in my back anymore. But you're catching
-
something. You're picking up something that's
-
going to bring that to your children in the middle
-
of the night. Did you hear this? And may I declare
-
that to you? It's going to bring it to the people
-
in the coffee house. And at work and in places
-
just like that. And so I thank God for what I've
-
seen and what I see in this room. It's just absolutely
-
amazing. Now, Brother Jan's got great material
-
also in the back. He helps people mature in Christ
-
Jesus. You've got books back there, is that right?
-
You didn't bring any 8 -tracks or tapes, right?
-
No, okay. Just wanted to be sure. I've written
-
one book. It's on healing. And I think you'd
-
enjoy it. Brother Schambach himself actually
-
read and did the forwarding on that book for
-
me. But I don't have it in print. I don't have
-
it here. And that way, so if you go back, you'll
-
get all of Jan's material back there. But if
-
you want to get mine, you're going to have to
-
go to, let's see, do they have it up? No, they
-
don't. Well, see, they don't care either. You
-
go to, whoa, there, well, you know. Yeah, well,
-
you can get it at, have you heard of Amazon before?
-
You can get it at. at amazon .com. Just put Dale
-
Everett and healing in there. It'll pop right
-
to the top. If you like it on a Kindle format,
-
if you like it. Just go to my website, DaleEverett
-
.org. You can get it there. And you'll find some
-
great things in there that will help you understand
-
how to not just get healed but how to walk in
-
healing. The concept of the book is healing God's
-
power flowing through you. And I talk much about
-
the ways that God has spoken to me in my lifetime,
-
how I hear the voice of God, how I know how to
-
respond. I also talk about how to deal with the
-
demonic and how to deal with fear and other areas
-
that will bring you forth in strength of healing.
-
All right? Are you ready for God's word tonight?
-
Beautiful. I have scriptures before me, and they're
-
found in the book of 1 Corinthians, the second
-
chapter. 1 Corinthians chapter 2. And in verses
1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention
-
9 through 12 is what I'm going to read. 1 Corinthians
-
2 and verse 9. I invite you to open your Bible.
-
If you don't have a Bible with you, then open
-
your tablet or your phone or whatever. If you're
-
waiting for it to go on the screen, I didn't
-
give it to them. Oh, Lord, that means you've
-
got to find it yourself. God, help us all. Here
-
we go. Do you remember, Pastor, the days in which
-
we knew when we could start reading because we
-
heard the Bible pages stop? Huh? That's when
-
we all brought the Bible with us, didn't we?
-
Well, hey, you know, seriousness, you need to
-
love the Word. You need to read the Word. And
-
hear me on this. You need to be familiar with
-
the Word. I think some of the technology we have,
-
and I love it all and I use it all, but I think
-
some of it has created a certain level of laziness
-
in us where we are unfamiliar with Scripture.
-
We don't even know where to turn because we don't
-
hardly experience it unless we're at a moment
-
where they project it on the wall. But you say,
-
well, preacher, you don't have a Bible with you
-
either. The pastor asked me, he said, do you
-
have a Bible? Bible I was talking about needing
-
something up here and I don't but you know I
-
mean I looked at it and I thought you know Moses
-
read from a tablet so can I alright yeah yeah
-
he did yeah alright would you stand with me in
-
respect to the reading of scripture would you
-
be so kind Oh, I feel his presence here. Let
-
me tell you where I'm going as far as the word
-
is concerned. I'm going to talk to you about
-
grasping your answer today. May I say that again?
-
Grasping your answer, now say it with me, today.
-
Today, yeah. Lay hold of that which is right
-
now. We procrastinate our faith way too much.
-
God's always going to do it. By the end of the
-
week. Here's the day he's going to do it. Someday.
-
I know that today's educators are different than
-
the ones that educated me and Jan. School, I
-
know, is different. But I think there are certain
-
things that are still the same. And one of the
-
things they taught me in school was this, that
-
there were seven days in a week. There was a
-
Sunday and a Monday and a Tuesday and a Wednesday
-
and a Thursday and a Friday and a Saturday. But
-
there was no someday. Someday does not exist.
-
If you're ever going to get something from God,
-
you need to get it in the now. Really hear what
-
I just said to you. If you're ever going to get
-
it at all, you've got to bring it into the now
-
moment. All right, you found it by now. I've
-
given you time. I was doing that on purpose.
-
It was 1 Corinthians. If you haven't found it
-
by now, bless your darling heart, you never will.
-
I'm just going to read. I'm just going to read,
-
beginning at verse 9, all right? But as it is
-
written, now he's going to quote an Old Testament
-
verse. As it is written, eye has not seen, nor
-
ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of
-
man the things which God has prepared. I'm going
-
to read more, but are you listening? Eyes haven't
-
seen, ears haven't heard, hasn't entered the
-
heart of man. This is an Old Testament prophet
-
speaking. The things which God has prepared for
-
those who love him. But God has revealed them
-
to us. Oh, come on, that's a shouting moment
-
right there. The things that men never could
-
see. They couldn't figure it out. They never
-
heard it. The things that had never entered their
-
heart. The things that were already there that
-
God had prepared for those who love him. He's
-
now revealed them to us. Come on, our eyes are
-
open. Are you hearing? Jesus would say, he that
-
has ears to hear, let him hear. This is true.
-
God has revealed them to us through his spirit.
-
For the spirit searches all things. Yes, the
-
deep things of God. For what man knows the things
-
of a man except the spirit of man which is in
-
him. Even so no one knows the things of God except
-
the spirit of God. Now we have received. Not
-
the spirit of the world. But the spirit who is
-
from God. Now look at these words. That we might
-
know. That we might know. Come on. You're supposed
-
to know. You're supposed to know. I don't know
-
why it is in the church that sometimes we glorify
-
ignorance. Our people testify like this. You
-
know, oh, I had such a great idea. And you know,
-
and I can't even tell you how, but the Lord came
-
through and we're all, hallelujah. I'm thinking,
-
wait, wait, you should be able to tell us how.
-
It's not enough to be saved. You need to know
-
how to bring this gift to God to someone else.
-
Did you catch that? I'm not saying you figured
-
out the Almighty, but when God moves within your
-
life, he wants to show you the way, not just
-
shock you. The things that we might know, the
-
things that have been freely given to us by God.
-
You've got more than you know. You've got more
-
than you let yourself believe. You're greatly
-
supplied. And we are waiting for things to come
-
that have already arrived. You may be seated.
-
Thank you. I was asking God, praying a prayer
-
that I'll bet everybody in the room has prayed.
-
And it's an appropriate prayer. But I was asking
-
God for his blessing. Would you bless me? And
-
the Lord came to me and he said, let me help
-
you in that prayer. He said, the truth is, Dale,
-
that blessings are going by you like this. I
-
mean, they're all around you. They're coming
-
in at warp speed. They're whizzing, right? You're
-
asking me to bless you. And it reminded me of
-
the passage that we are blessed with all spiritual
-
blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
-
He says, they're coming by you like this. Here,
-
let me help you pray. He said, this is how I
-
want you to pray. You need to pray for faith
-
to see them and boldness to grasp them. Did you
-
hear that? Faith to see it. It's right there.
-
But then you need boldness to lay hold on them.
-
Do you know, if you read especially the first
-
three chapters of Acts, the New Testament church,
-
they did not pray for faith. They prayed for
-
boldness. They had walked with Jesus. They had
-
seen and heard of him, and they knew exactly
-
how this thing would operate. It wasn't a matter
-
of getting God to perform. It was getting men
-
to stand up and cooperate. Boldness. It's the
-
key to the kingdom, you understand. It's one
-
of the great keys in the kingdom. Your faith
-
will never operate above your boldness. If there
-
is a lid at all, that's it. So raise the lid.
-
Become bold. Bold. Why don't you try being bold?
-
Be bold in Jesus' name. Become boldly into the
-
throne of grace. I didn't say cocky. There's
-
a difference between arrogance and boldness.
-
They might look the same to a casual onlooker,
-
but they are different. Arrogance and cockiness
-
comes from an incorrect assessment of oneself.
-
Boldness is born of relationship, not of cockiness.
-
If I was sitting at the table today with my son,
-
now, the pastor's mother and dad had us into
-
the home, and they fed us a meal that you had
-
to repent of gluttony afterwards. Now, if my
-
son was nearby, here's what could happen. Like
-
when we prayed, I would have to have one eye
-
open. I would have to protect my plate. If he
-
saw something on there he wanted, he'd grab that
-
baby right on off. When he comes to our home,
-
he just comes right to the refrigerator, and
-
he pops the door open, no questions asked. He
-
does that. Now, he would not do that in your
-
house. I would never have to say to him, now
-
we're going somewhere, don't do that in their
-
house. He would not do that in your house. And
-
you might have table fare as nice as what we
-
had or something in your refrigerator as delightful
-
as he would want, but he would not do that in
-
your house because he doesn't have that kind
-
of relationship. But with me, it's a whole other
-
matter. Did you get what I'm talking about? It's
-
not a matter of arrogance. When he walks in,
-
he knows he fits in. Did you catch that? You're
-
not just at the table of the Lord. You belong
-
there. Believe me, that takes the help of God
-
to bring us to that understanding. Because you
-
see, when we sit down at the marriage supper
-
of the Lamb, you might be seated between Barnabas
-
and Paul. Hello. And without the help of God,
-
I might be sitting there thinking, am I in the
-
right spot? You know, there was an old time hymn
-
we used to sing. It said, I'd be happy with just
-
a cabin in the corner of glory land. Here's the
-
problem with that. There are no cabins there.
-
And there's nobody that's supposed to live in
-
such a thing. Not in this household. Boldness.
-
It's not arrogance. It's born of relationship.
-
The closer you draw to him and the more you understand
-
who you are in him and how he sees you, the more
-
you will be bold in the name of the Lord Jesus
-
Christ. Talk about grasping your answer today.
-
There are things that guys have never seen, never
-
figured out, never heard. Right today, God's
-
revealing them to us by his spirit. It's happening
-
right now in this room. And these are things
-
that he has prepared. It's not a matter, these
-
are things he can do. These are things he has
-
done. It's right out there, dude. You just need
-
to lay hold on it. You need to see it, and you
-
need to have boldness to reach out and grasp
-
it. Am I helping you tonight? Let me tell you
-
something else that has helped me grab a hold
-
of a miracle in the now. in the now moment. And
-
that is when I finally understood that I didn't
-
have to make it happen. And I can't tell you.
-
Yeah, go ahead. I can't tell you how many people
-
I've helped with that when I prayed with them
-
and I've said, look, look me right in the eye.
-
You don't have to make this happen. But sometimes
-
we think we've got to do it. You know, that we
-
have to have whatever, that we have to have enough
-
faith or enough time in prayer or enough spiritual
-
insight for God to be able to do that. I think
-
I mentioned last night how I was preaching that
-
kind of a concept one time, and I was telling
-
people this, that I've heard a lot of preachers
-
say, that if you believe, God can do it. And
-
the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me. He said,
-
I can do it whether you believe or not. He said,
-
what made you think I need you to be me? And
-
then I understood something, that we had a mis...
-
misunderstanding of the things of the spirit
-
and specifically about faith that I think sometimes
-
we think that our faith how can I say this that
-
our faith is God's energy that we come before
-
him and we give him faith and then he can do
-
what we have faith for well that's absurd to
-
think that God needs us to be him I want to challenge
-
your way of thinking right now. Sometimes we
-
even think of faith as, you know, I don't know,
-
it's kind of like, you know, the old Incredible
-
Hulk. Remember the old TV program, Incredible
-
Hulk? You know, Bill Bixby, that when they hit
-
him with the gamma rays, he swolled up real big,
-
you know? And so when you hit him with the gamma
-
ray of faith, he just gets right out there. But
-
when you have some unbelief, he just shrivels
-
right down to being old Bill Bixby. I just lost
-
everybody under 50 right there, didn't I? It's
-
all right. All right. We'll just skip to a bro
-
cream commercial and bring you up to date. It's
-
all right. I see people that are 18 right now
-
going on YouTube and finding that. There's nothing
-
I do that makes him who he is. Actually, my faith
-
has nothing for God at all. He has no need. Faith
-
opens me. Not him. Did you get that? That's why
-
he is the author and finisher of my faith. I
-
don't bring to him faith. He imparts to me faith.
-
And then I, in faith, cooperate with him who
-
is whole and complete within himself. Are you
-
catching what I'm talking about? My... life was
-
transformed and I entered into a place of being
-
able to grasp in the now that which is when I
-
understood I didn't have to make it happen I
-
told people I got delivered I did I got delivered
-
I didn't have to get delivered from drugs or
-
alcohol or things like that I thank God for those
-
who have that's not my testimony I just got delivered
-
from thinking God needed me to be God And that
-
could be looked at as an arrogance statement,
-
but that wasn't arrogance. It was what I was
-
just describing to you. I thought I had to come
-
prepared and all together prayed up on top of
-
the game for him to be able to do his stuff.
-
I just finished a television shoot in Buffalo,
-
New York with Brother Tommy Reed. I don't know
-
if you all know who Tommy Reed is, but a great
-
man of God and one who served our brother Yungi
-
Cho for many, many years. He's now in his 80s
-
and he's still knocking it out of the ballpark.
-
I got a text from him just this week. He's 89
-
years old and this guy's impacting the world
-
with the gospel. We had just finished a shoot
-
and now we were driving to lunch together and
-
Brother Reed was driving. I was in the back seat.
-
Doc Kellner was in the other seat in the front.
-
And Brother Reed... Just look back for a moment.
-
He said, Dale, when you go into a crusade, what
-
exactly are you looking for? What are you looking
-
for when you go to a crusade? Now, he didn't
-
say that because he didn't know who I was. I've
-
been preaching in this church since I was a teenager.
-
So it wasn't that. I remember Kellner said, that's
-
a tough question. I said, no, it's actually very
-
easy. I said, whenever I go into a crusade, this
-
is what I'm looking for. I'm looking for more
-
than me. Did you hear that? Now, I wasn't trying
-
to be humble. What I was saying was this. When
-
I come into a crusade like this, now, I know
-
the call that's within my life. I'm not unsure
-
of it. And I know the giftings that God has brought
-
to me. There are certain gifts of healing that
-
flow consistently in my life, and I know them.
-
I'm familiar. I know when I'm operating them.
-
I can tell when they open up. Men of faith know
-
exactly what I'm saying. This is not an arrogant
-
statement. It's just like you know how to speak
-
with tongues. I know when these certain operation
-
gifts happen within me, and I know how to touch
-
God and move in them. Just like you know how
-
to speak in tongues, I can do these other things.
-
So I want you to understand what I'm saying.
-
When I come into a crusade, you say, well, I
-
guess that's what you're going right there. You
-
know right where your faith is at. I know where
-
my faith is at, but when I come into a crusade,
-
that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking
-
for more than me. I'm looking for something that
-
is bigger than my faith. I'm looking for something
-
that's greater than my anointing. Are you hearing
-
me? I'm looking for something that exceeds the
-
giftings of God within my life. Because he who
-
has given me this, these are precious and wonderful,
-
but he is more. Oh, come on, church. He is more.
-
He's more than what you've seen. He's more than
-
what you believe. He's more than what you understand.
-
He is, come on, he's more. And because you have
-
not yet seen it does not mean it doesn't exist.
-
And because you have not yet walked in it does
-
not mean it's outside of the scope of what's
-
available for you. I'm telling you, there's way
-
more available to us than what we understand.
-
And so wherever I go, here or elsewhere across
-
the world, and I step into a moment, I'm not
-
looking for that which I know and I believe.
-
I'm looking for that which is more than me. Way
-
more. Way more. That's who he is. And he wants
-
to bring you into that. He's revealing that by
-
his spirit. And one of the things that really
-
helped me get there is when I finally recognized
-
I didn't have to make it happen. It wasn't up
-
to me. Now, a little couple of things for you.
-
If you'll buy into what I'm telling you, I'll
-
do a couple of things for you. It'll take the
-
shackles off of you. from stepping into the power
-
of God. Because if you don't believe this, you're
-
always going to wait until you're ready. That
-
means you're going to be waiting forever. You
-
can get out of the boat, but you've got to step
-
over the side. The other thing it'll do for you,
-
and you'll have to hear this properly to understand
-
it, it will deliver you from the fear of failure.
-
When you understand it's more than me and I don't
-
have to make it happen. It's not that we don't
-
pray. It's not that we don't prepare our heart.
-
But I understand this thing is way beyond me.
-
My mentor, the old voice of healing preacher
-
that so impacted my life and trained me, he told
-
me this. He said, Dale, he said, and he had great
-
healing gifts, amazing gifts of God. But he said,
-
when people get healed, Dale, he says, I don't
-
take the glory. I don't take the glory when people
-
get healed. I got that. And he looked me right
-
in the eye and he says, and I don't take the
-
blame when they don't. Did you understand? Now
-
he didn't say I put the blame on them. He wasn't
-
saying that at all. He was saying I will not
-
walk in a sense of intimidation and fear and
-
condemnation. Did you get that? Am I helping
-
you right now? One of the things that will help
-
you step into a now miracle. Is when you understand,
-
you don't have to make it happen. You don't have
-
to make it happen. It doesn't hinge on you. Come
-
on. Get that pressure off of you. Get that pressure
-
off of you. And walk in that kind of light and
-
revelation. Hallelujah. So when that devil stands
-
up against you and says, you think you've got
-
enough faith to beat me? My answer would basically
-
be. Well, of course. But you've got to understand
-
the beating you're going to get is going to be
-
way beyond my faith. Amen. Another thing that
-
has helped me grasp a miracle in the now today
-
is when I really understood that God has provided.
-
Everything I need, he has provided. Quit asking
-
him to do the stuff he's already done. Come on,
-
he has provided. Or let me say it to you like
-
this. Our God is, he's proactive, not reactive.
-
He's ahead of the devil. He's ahead of our needs.
-
And he's beyond our troubles. I think sometimes
-
we see God as a God who comes through in the
-
nick of time. You know, in the end, you'll see.
-
God will come through. So the devil starts a
-
fire over here. And we think, oh, see that fire?
-
That's not, I can, look at me. You can stamp
-
that baby right out. Oh, look, there's another
-
one over there. No problem. No problem. I can
-
get that one over here just like that. You see
-
that one? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'm coming. That's
-
not it at all. That's not it at all. Let me tell
-
you about my God. Before the devil starts to
-
fire, he's already there. The answers come before
-
the trouble is known. You know, when I see problems
-
arise, people say, what do you think? You see
-
that problem? What do you think about that? I
-
say, well, now I can finally figure out what
-
God's going to do. Because this thing shows me.
-
Isaiah 65, 24, it says, it shall come to pass
-
that before they call, I will answer. And while
-
they are still speaking, I will hear. Well, isn't
-
that nice of him? Before they call, I will answer.
-
And he says, then while you're telling about
-
it, I'll listen to you. But I've already got
-
it done. Isn't that sweet? Come on. Isn't that
-
great? We say the Lamb of God was slain 2 ,000
-
years ago for our sin. But Revelation 13, 8 says
-
the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the
-
world. Before there was sin, there was a Savior.
-
I told you when I see those streams of healing,
-
they come in very narrow, but somewhere in the
-
message they go wide, and they're wide right
-
now. Whatever miracle you need, would you take
-
it from God? It's here. I feel the pull. I felt
-
it twice already. There's an anointing that's
-
delivering and healing. Come on, grab your miracle
-
right now. This is a strong moment. Before you
-
call, before you've ever thought about it, before
-
you knew there was a problem, before the devil
-
could get enough together to give you the problem,
-
he was already your answer. 1 Peter 2 .24 says,
-
Whomself bore our sins and his own. body on the
-
tree, that we, having died to sins, might live
-
for righteousness. You know that last line, don't
-
you? By whose stripes you were healed. He's talking
-
about divine healing. Isaiah saw it very clearly,
-
and he said, when he looked at the sacrifice
-
of Jesus, he said, by his stripes we are healed.
-
I mean, he looked at it and said, oh, look at
-
that, we are healed. He didn't say we can get
-
healed. When he saw it, he saw it as a done deal.
-
Do you understand that? So I used to read that
-
passage for years and I thought, that's it, that's
-
my promise. That's how I can get healed. But
-
Isaiah did not say, I see that healing can happen.
-
He said, he looked at it and he said, well, look
-
at that, will you? We're healed. Peter looked
-
at it and he said, by whose stripes you were
-
healed. So excuse my grammar again. But before
-
I get sick, I were healed. Did you all hear that?
-
Yeah, before I get sick, I were healed. he's
-
already provided. The thing that's helped me
-
grasp a miracle in the now, right now, today,
-
not someday, not he will do, what's helped me
-
step into a moment and grab a miracle, there's
-
many of them. One of them is a sense of boldness,
-
just drawing near to him and understanding who
-
he is and how he feels toward me, and then recognizing
-
I don't have to make it happen anyhow. So I don't
-
have to like get it all together before. No,
-
it's right there. Come on. And then when I realized
-
that, well, he's already provided this thing.
-
And when I step into the room, the provision's
-
already there. It's not an issue that he's going
-
to take the request into consideration. And then
-
think about it. And if it's his will and his
-
divine purpose for the longevity of your life,
-
that he might come up with the answer. And when
-
you meet with him, you two can hash it out. You
-
know, he's actually already done it. Well, he's
-
already provided. Another great thing that has
-
helped me and many others receive him, am I helping
-
you tonight? All right, is this. Here's another
-
idea, that you enter a miracle through rest,
-
not through struggle. You enter a miracle through
-
rest, not through struggle. Now, in Hebrews chapter
Hebrews 3 chapter mention
-
3 and also chapter 4, The writer of Hebrews is
-
addressing the differences between the two generations
-
of Israel that came out of Egypt. You had the
-
first generation, the adults, that came out,
-
and you have the second generation, the children,
-
that came out with them. Now, the goal and the
-
purpose of God was not to get them out, but to
-
get them in. Do you understand that? That was
-
the purpose of God. The purpose of God was not
-
to get them out of Egypt. He had to get them
-
out of Egypt, but that wasn't the goal. The goal
-
was not to get out. The goal was to get in the
-
land of promise. The first generation never received
-
the goal. They died in the wilderness. And in
-
those two chapters of Hebrews, he tells us exactly
-
why. It does not need interpretation. You don't
-
need a concordance or anything else to determine
-
it. He just flat out says it. They did not enter
-
in because of unbelief. That's what he said.
-
That first generation, they did not enter in
-
because of unbelief. Now, the second generation
-
got in. And you would think that he would have
-
said, That they got in because of faith. But
-
he did not say that. It was involved, but that's
-
not what he called it. He said this. They entered
-
into my rest. Oh, wow. In fact, it became thematic
-
throughout those verses. The entering into his
-
rest. And then I understood something. That in
-
the mind of God, rest. And faith are synonymous.
-
That if you were to step into God's office and
-
pick up the thesaurus on his desk, and you were
-
to open it up to the word faith, you would see
-
the word rest there. And if you went over and
-
opened up to the word rest, you'd see the word
-
faith there. Because in God's mind, when faith
-
comes, the struggle ends. Are you hearing this?
-
I know when I'm operating in faith because I'm
-
through the breaking point. And when I step through
-
that and into that place of his presence and
-
of his imparted faith, there is no struggle.
-
You all know what I'm talking about. I can tell
-
it. The song arises. The shout is there. The
-
dance begins. The burden is lifted. You enter
-
a miracle not through struggle, but through rest.
-
So when I find myself really trying hard to believe,
-
I realize I'm not there. I'm not even in the
-
right direction. I'm not going to get there that
-
way. We were talking about people receiving the
-
Holy Ghost today, and we've seen as many as 2
-
,500 in a single service receiving the baptism.
-
But you all that have ministered to folks that
-
are at the point of receiving the gift of the
-
Holy Ghost, you can tell sometimes just by the
-
look on their face. I'm in many countries where
-
all the languages are unknown tongues to me,
-
and someone says, well, how are we going to tell
-
if they're speaking in tongues or not? I said,
-
it'll be very easy. Just look at their face.
-
You won't have to understand what their native
-
language is versus whether they're speaking or
-
not. Just look at it. There is something there
-
that's very readable. Does anyone know what I'm
-
talking about? And I can tell when a person's
-
not going to get it. You can look on their face
-
and it just looks kind of like this. You say,
-
well, that's not happening here, buddy. Because
-
it doesn't work that way. All you get out of
-
that is a spiritual hernia. You don't step into
-
a miracle. When I find myself knotted up, I realize
-
I'm not going to enter into that miracle right
-
now. I need to stop. And I need to work. And
-
I want to say that here's what I do. You take
-
it within the theological diction of our island
-
brethren from the Caribbean. They would tell
-
us this. They would say, you just need to mellow
-
out, dude. No, you need to find that place of
-
rest in him. I look for the moments in which
-
he will carry me along. I look for, when you
-
say, well, how do you pray for a miracle? Sometimes
-
I just sit before him. I just wait upon him.
-
I worship him, but I wait upon him. And there
-
comes a moment in which, oh, that we would have.
-
Oh, that we would have more confidence in him
-
than we do in our theological understandings
-
and in all of our teachings, our systems. And
-
I'm not just talking about dogma of mainline
-
churches. You can't believe that. junk that we've
-
got in our present day charismatic full gospel
-
whatever you want to call them churches we got
-
we've got you know brother Oral Roberts used
-
to say everybody knows who Oral Roberts was right
-
brother Oral Roberts when he had those big tent
-
crusades he would say once I can get past the
-
Pentecostal people we can start having miracles
-
Because, you see, what we are, people like us,
-
what we've been doing is we've been trained the
-
right stuff. We've been told that, you know,
-
you need to have faith. You need to believe God.
-
You need to get your heart right with God. You
-
need to draw near to him. And we've got all these,
-
and they're not bad. There is truth in all this,
-
but it's just not all the truth. And what happens
-
to us is we've got a lot of rules about what
-
it takes to get a miracle. And, therefore, when
-
one of us get a miracle, it's really a miracle.
-
Because we put all these steps and things we've
-
got to do. To get one, you know, it's very easy
-
to believe God. Here are the 47 steps you need
-
to do to get your miracle. We have figured it
-
out, you know, and then we teach all these things.
-
It's wonderful teaching, you know, and then we
-
choke to death on them. Come on, guys. Are you
-
catching what I'm really trying to say to you?
-
You're going to enter your miracle through rest,
-
not through faith. I mean, through struggle,
-
not through struggle. When that faith of God
-
arises within you. It's a wonderful, freeing,
-
refreshing moment. Now, I know you're thinking,
-
well, but the Bible says to fight the good fight
-
of faith. I understand that. There's more than
-
one aspect of faith. But even on that, you understand
-
he, and you all know he called it a good fight,
-
didn't he? He's fighting the good fight. So you
-
say, well, I've heard people say, so what's the
-
good fight? And someone says, it's the one we
-
win. Well, that's nice, but. No, that's really
-
not it. Let me tell you what a good fight is.
-
A good fight is a fixed fight. Did you all hear
-
that? It's a fixed fight. That's a good fight
-
right there. That's the fight that when you step
-
in, before you step in the ring, you already
-
know what the outcome is. Did you hear what I
-
just said? Oh, yeah. There's going to be some
-
punches thrown. I get it. And there's going to
-
be some hitting going on. But you already know
-
who's going down. And come on. And who's got
-
the victory? And that is your fight right there.
-
There may be some punches thrown. And there may
-
be some rounds that you go through. But before
-
you get in the ring, you already know. Come on.
-
This is a good one. Before you even start, do
-
you think this is going to turn out? Oh, yeah.
-
Oh, yeah. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be cruel
-
here or anything. Whatever the word would be.
-
But I never really, I don't jump real high when
-
I hear people say stuff like, you know, I read
-
the end of the book and we win. I'm thinking
-
I read the front of the book and we won. Hello?
-
When Adam sinned, God came and he didn't say,
-
read the end of the book, it'll work out. He
-
said, Adam, come here. This thing's really bad
-
right now, but let me explain how it's going
-
to work out. Am I right? Come on, am I right?
-
He told us up front from the very beginning.
-
Wow. Your answer's already there. Your battle's
-
already won. You've already been healed by his
-
stripes. That's why so many people get healed
-
just when I'm preaching the word. And I know
-
there's a place of laying on of hands and taking
-
authority of the enemy, but I'm going to tell
-
you, a lot of people just when they finally hear
-
it, they go, oh, that's what it's all about.
-
Boom, and they're healed. In fact, you'll notice
-
last night when there were so many people that
-
testified here, did you notice that there wasn't
-
one moment or testimony of a struggle? Am I right?
-
There's nobody that had to push their way through.
-
It just, whoa. It just came. You can fight if
-
you want. And some believers, you know, they
-
pray for a fight. There was a guy that was speaking
-
at my home church. received the full gospel of
-
the Lord Jesus Christ. Part of that point, he
-
was saved, but he was part of one of those denominations
-
that don't believe in the fullness of the Spirit
-
and resisted such things as that. And so when
-
our pastor was telling us who he was, they told
-
us of that particular Christian background that
-
he was from, and they said, and then also, he
-
used to be a prize fighter. And I looked at the
-
person sitting next to me, and I said, that was
-
a very redundant statement. because most of the
-
people that don't believe these things, all they
-
do is carry hats to drop so they can fight. They're
-
always looking for a fight about this stuff,
-
but those of us that have entered into his rest,
-
we don't have to battle with it at all. Jan said
-
it this way the other night, I didn't come here
-
to defend God. He doesn't need a defense. While
-
you're all bristled up, just enter into his rest,
-
and you'll move right into your miracle. You'll
-
move right into your miracle. Praise God. All
-
right, let me conclude with this. I didn't say
-
it was through preaching. I said I would conclude
-
with this. God only knows how long this will
-
take. But I will conclude with this thought.
-
I'm giving you hope anyhow. If you want to enter
-
into a miracle now, then you need to own it,
-
not simply believe it's possible. You got to
-
own it. In other words, the gospel has to be
-
personalized to be activated in you. He cannot
-
just be the Lord. He needs to be your Lord. It
-
needs to get beyond this, that he's the savior
-
of the world. You need to come to the point that
-
you can say, he's my savior. Do you understand
-
what I mean by owning it now? Personalizing it.
-
This is my moment. This is the gift he has given
-
me. This is what he's brought me unto. You know,
-
when the Lord opened this gift to me, and you
-
must understand, I give you a tiny bit of my
-
history. I got born again when I was seven, and
-
the call of God I recognized when I was eight
-
to ministry. All I knew was ministry. He didn't
-
give me any specifics. I was baptized in the
-
Holy Ghost. When I was 12, I was sitting in a
-
camp meeting, just listening to a guy preach
-
at an afternoon service, and the voice of the
-
Lord came to me and said, Dale, I want you to
-
be an evangelist to North America. That's how
-
I first heard it. That was the first phase of
-
this ministry. I wasn't praying, God, what is
-
your will? What do you want me to do? I'm just
-
listening to a guy preach. I don't actually even
-
remember what he was preaching about, and it
-
had nothing in reference to that. Just all of
-
a sudden, bang, just like that, the voice of
-
the Lord came. You don't have to make it happen.
-
He just came to me and said, this is what I want
-
you to do. And then after that, he started defining
-
it more when he talked to me about healing the
-
sick and casting out devils. But I couldn't see
-
myself doing that, so I didn't think I was hearing
-
God. I blew it off. I know I heard the Lord when
-
I was praying. When I walked out the door, I
-
talked myself out of it. Is anybody in the room
-
understanding what I just said there? Have you
-
ever done that? Don't answer. And that went on
-
for almost three years. And finally, I was again
-
in another camp meeting type experience on my
-
back under the power of God for two hours, and
-
he showed me the length and the breadth of this
-
ministry. Those crowds you saw on the screen
-
yesterday in Africa, I saw those crowds when
-
I was right at the end of my 14th year, about
-
to hit 15, and he showed me the work and the
-
walk of this ministry. And then when that took
-
place, I remember I got up from that point of
-
prayer, and I said to the Lord this. I said that
-
this is it. there's not going to be the struggle
-
anymore that maybe this is not really God and
-
I'm just got some. I told myself over and over
-
again, my problem was that I was reading too
-
many Smith Wigglesworth books. I needed to get
-
serious and find out what I was supposed to do.
-
But now that day I said, I get it, Lord. This
-
is what you've called me to do. But then I said
-
to him, but I just want you to know. I did. I
-
said it just like that. I said, I just want you
-
to know you really got your work cut out for
-
you. You see, because I looked at me and I looked
-
at that, which I saw in the vision. I looked
-
at me and I looked at that. I looked at me and
-
I looked at that. I said, that's not me. I didn't
-
understand who he was and what he was like. I
-
didn't understand that he was one, that when
-
he shows us who we are, he doesn't show us from
-
our point of view. He shows us from his point
-
of view. And he sees things from the end to the
-
beginning. Did you hear that? That's changing
-
someone right now. He saw the completion. I wasn't
-
even sure the first step. And he didn't talk
-
to me from my point of view. He talked to me
-
from his point of view. And he saw it done. And
-
he said, this is it. And I said, that's not me.
-
And if that's going to be me, you got a big job.
-
And then I was sitting under the guy that would
-
be my mentor. And he started a crusade in Buffalo,
-
New York on December 1. Do you understand the
-
weather patterns in Buffalo? Lake effect snow
-
that can drop down three and four feet in hours?
-
In hours? You don't start a revival in Buffalo,
-
New York on December 1 unless you've really heard
-
from God or unless you've been smoking something
-
that you shouldn't be smoking. And that meeting
-
went 17 weeks. It concluded two weeks before
-
Easter of the next year. During that time, I
-
got my Bible education. I was shaped in that
-
time. There's some things that are caught in
-
partation that takes place. And I remember that
-
he was doing a 10 -night series on who we are
-
in Christ. Somewhere in that series, I was sitting
-
in the second row. It hit me like a ton of bricks.
-
I mean, I remember. I don't remember the actual
-
message. I remember the theme that he was preaching
-
on, and I remember the moment. Because it hit
-
me just like this. And I thought, oh God, oh
-
God, you know that great big thing that I told
-
you you were going to have to do? You've already
-
done it. And I did not appraise it correctly.
-
I had no idea of the depth of his workmanship
-
in us through new birth in Christ Jesus. I was
-
always thinking that someday... Remember someday?
-
When is that? Is that the second or third day?
-
No, fourth. One day of the week is that someday
-
it would come. The moment I saw it, the gifts
-
of God showed. The healing miracles began to
-
happen right there. They didn't wait until I
-
started preaching. Healing ministry did not begin
-
with me from the pulpit. It began with me from
-
the streets. It was because of the miracles that
-
were happening in the streets that people invited
-
me to the pulpit. It's true. It's true. Someone
-
said, well, did you start holding revivals and
-
God started healing the sick? No. I just started
-
ministering healing in the hospitals. I was 15
-
years old. I did a weekly move into the hospital.
-
At 15. I went to the hospital every week and
-
ministered healing to the sick. People say, well,
-
if you've got a healing ministry, why don't you
-
go to the hospitals? That's how I got going.
-
That's what I did. And we saw people get out
-
of those beds and completely well. I was raised
-
in Niagara Falls, New York, so I'd go to the
-
waterfalls because people came from all over
-
the world there. There were 20 ,000 Asians that
-
would come in and see the falls just in July
-
and August. You know, I was smarter then. Now
-
I spend thousands of dollars to go overseas to
-
them. Then they just came to me. I don't know
-
why I didn't sit still in Niagara Falls. But
-
anyhow, and it would minister the word with signs
-
following. That's how I would approach it. Did
-
it then? Do it now. The same way. Finally, people
-
saw enough of that, and so a couple of pastors
-
saw it, and they said, wow, if you can do that
-
on the streets, could you come and do it at our
-
church? And I thought, I don't know. I don't
-
know if it'll work in a church, but we can give
-
it a try. But I remember when that gift was locked
-
in for me, and it wasn't in that revival crusade.
-
In the revival crusade, I worked with him, and
-
he had me lay hands on the sick, and we had miracles.
-
We witnessed them. But I remember when the steel
-
backbone came, and it was in the hospital, in
-
a Catholic hospital in Niagara Falls. When I
-
walked in to minister to a man from my home church,
-
and God would instantly heal him. And there was
-
another man in the next bed that saw it happen,
-
who did not know Christ. And when he saw this
-
man get, instantly healed. He sat right up in
-
his bed. He had an ongoing problem. He'd been
-
in a hospital for quite a while and they were
-
not able to correct it. He had a constant bleeding
-
that was not being stopped. He sat right up in
-
his bed and he said, can you do that for me?
-
And I remember, I don't even know why I did it.
-
I prayed with the man from my church here. This
-
man's in the hospital bed there. And I don't
-
know why I didn't say, sure, I'll just pray with
-
you. Instead, I... turned completely around the
-
other way. I have no idea what I did that, and
-
when I did, the bed was empty. He was gone. I
-
thought, well, where in the world did you go?
-
And he was right over in the chair next to the
-
other guy. He said, I'm ready now. And I looked
-
at him, and I said to him, I said, sir, you did
-
not know Christ. I said, let me tell you, Jesus
-
is a mighty healer, and he's given me an anointing
-
and a grace that when I lay my hands upon you,
-
you will be instantly healed. And when I said
-
that, something big in me just like this that
-
never left. It was when I finally stood up and
-
owned it. Did you hear that? I value the covering
-
of my mentor and the assistance he gave me, but
-
it's when I stepped out when there was no organ
-
playing, no believers saying amen. And no one's
-
standing alongside. And I said, this is the way
-
it is. And when I said it, I remember. But when
-
I say steal, that's what it felt like. Something
-
literally went, just straightened me right out.
-
Right up my backbone, just like that. And it's
-
still there. You want to enter into a miracle?
-
You need to quit procrastinating your faith.
-
And you need to own that baby. When that word
-
of the Lord and that touch of God comes, don't
-
you sit on that baby. We talked about it last
-
night. Don't you say, well, we'll give it a week
-
and see how it really is. You will walk right
-
out of the moment of your miracle. But if you
-
will own it, this is not a mental thing. It's
-
not, all right, let me figure out how I do it.
-
That's not how it works. It's a matter of sensing
-
the presence of the Almighty, catching the word
-
of the Lord, and then stepping into it and saying,
-
that's it, that's mine. Are you on page with
-
me right now? That's what it is. And you need
-
to pick up, and you need to get past the idea
-
that God has to plow you down. You know, I see
-
people, like Brother Jan has a great anointing
-
where people fall under the power. They do that
-
sometimes when I pray with them. They do it a
-
lot when he prays with them. I believe in that.
-
I've received God's blessing many times in my
-
life like that. But I meet people all the time
-
that say, it's not that I'm unwilling to fall
-
down, but I don't do courtesy drops. And so when
-
someone comes down that line, they say, no, we're
-
ready for God to touch us and God to move. But
-
all right, I'm ready. Come on. Come on. Hit me
-
right there. Hit me right there. And if it's
-
God to bully me over, I'll be okay with it. And
-
they think, you know, that they're doing the
-
right thing. They're not going to be anybody's
-
fool. And I look at that and say to myself, I
-
don't want to have to have God come and hit me
-
with a two -by -four. I would like to be able
-
to respond to his lightest touch. I welcome the
-
voice that shouts out. But would you make me
-
so sensitive that I could hear your slightest
-
whisper? That all he has to do is brush me. can
-
feel that. I recognize you. Would you own it?
-
Just enter into it and say, that's the way it
-
is. Draw near to him. You may have to get me
-
in the lobby, stop, really take some minutes
-
with me to get thought across, but my wife doesn't.
-
I can walk in the room and know whether it's
-
good or bad. Oh, don't look at me like that.
-
Huh? Sometimes just the slightest touch, you
-
know. Am I right? Why don't you get to know him
-
like that? Get to know him that you can just
-
walk right into his presence and know, oh, this
-
is good. I don't know what all this other nonsense
-
was. This is right. This is right. Why would
-
I live like that when the moment I come before
-
him, and sometimes he doesn't even need to say
-
a word, the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
-
and his ears are open to their prayers. Sometimes
-
I walk in, and I can just feel him looking at
-
me. Would you stand with me all over the room?
-
Jesus is here. Oh my God, Jesus is here. Wow.
-
Own it. You all know it. Let the redeemed of
-
the Lord. Not think about it. Not pray about
-
it. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. This
-
is the way it is. The promise, the reality. The
-
greatness of his name. Do you know that his name
-
is healing? You know names, the names of God
-
in scripture, we mentioned it the other night,
-
they're not titles, they're revelations of an
-
aspect of God. That's why you find so many names,
-
because he's too big to figure out at one point.
-
It's literally going to take you all of eternity.
-
And then. Yeah. But he would come and speak a
-
name. And when he spoke that name, it wasn't
-
informational. It was transforming. And when
-
he told Israel that his name was healing, Jehovah
-
Rapha, the Lord who heals. Then I understood
-
two things. Number one, it's not that he could
-
heal. He is healing. Do you understand that?
-
He can heal me. When you get in his presence,
-
you just stepped into the presence of healing.
-
He doesn't know how not to heal. He never behaves
-
differently to his character. He is healing.
-
I said it like this just a few weeks ago when
-
I was in Dar es Salaam. I was up around the beginning
-
of July. And I said to the crowd of those Africans,
-
I said, you must understand, I'm a Mzungu, which
-
means white guy. I said, I don't have to pray
-
to become a Mzungu. I just am. I don't get up
-
in the morning and say, I'm just going to believe
-
God to be a Mzungu. I said, I can't help myself.
-
I'm a white guy. I'm stuck with it. That's what
-
I am. And I said, I'm not just a mizungu to nice
-
people. I'm a mizungu to bad people. I'm a mizungu
-
to religious people. I'm a mizungu to people
-
that have no faith at all. I just am what I am.
-
I said, you need to understand something about
-
him. He is a savior. He's not a savior of good
-
people. He's a savior. He's a savior of good
-
people and bad people. You understand this? He's
-
a savior to those that are holy and those that
-
are perverts. You didn't like that, but it's
-
the truth. He can't help himself. He's just a
-
savior. When he walks in the room, he's a savior.
-
And then the writer of New Testament said this,
-
if you believe not, yet he remains faithful,
-
he cannot deny himself. Think of that. Think
-
of that. He's a healer. He's not a healer if
-
you believe. He's a healer. I know I've seen
-
it. I'm sure you've seen it. I've seen God heal
-
people that were shocked. When they got healed.
-
We had a lady come from one of those churches
-
to a crusade of ours in Dallas. You know, it
-
was one of those churches that they're the only
-
ones that saved. They knew we were all going
-
to hell. But her son had talked her into coming
-
because he'd seen so many miracles. And she came.
-
She was completely deaf in one ear. And the reason
-
why she was an adult woman, the reason why she
-
was completely deaf is because they had to do
-
surgery to take a tumor out. And in order to
-
get to it, they had to go through her ear canal.
-
a mastoid operation, so they removed the anvil,
-
disturbed the cochlea, the eardrum. She had nothing
-
but a hole there. And she's sitting over to the
-
side, halfway through my message, her ear popped
-
just like that, and she could hear perfectly.
-
And she came to the altar half -mad. Truly. She
-
said to the pastor with tears, she says, I don't
-
understand what's going on. She says, I was eight
-
years old when they took that out. I've been
-
deaf all my life, and I could not hear, and now
-
I can hear perfectly. And that guy's not even
-
saved. How can this happen? And his wife is wearing
-
pants. You know that's wrong. I got to tell you,
-
he is who he is. Do you know where you are right
-
now? You're in the place where nothing is impossible.
-
Where the glory of the Lord is. Where the healer
-
is present. Every one of you that have wanted
-
a miracle of the Lord, would you look up at him
-
and tell him, I'm taking mine right now, Lord.
-
Come on. Worship him for it right now. Give him
-
praise for it. Enter in. Enter in with me right
-
now. If you are interested in hearing other podcasts
