  1. We're not going to go into much introduction,

  2. but it's an honor to have both Dr. Jan Venter

  3. here that's to my left and to your right, and

  4. on the front row, Evangelist Pastor Dale Everett

  5. here with us this weekend. It's been a great

  6. weekend. Both of them are going to share tonight

  7. on healing. I want you to open your heart, open

  8. your heart and receive tonight. Come on, I know

  9. what it's like. I was born on Wednesday and in

  10. church on a Sunday. It's been 50 years of being,

  11. 52 years of being in the house of God. I've been

  12. born again since I was 10. I've heard hundreds

  13. and hundreds of sermons. We need to open our

  14. heart. For those of you that have any type of

  15. Christian religious background, you're the hardest

  16. group. That's right, preacher. Come on, somebody.

  17. Come on. You're the hardest group. Remove the

  18. excuses. Remove the judgment. Open your heart.

  19. And let's receive the word of the Lord because

  20. it comes to bring life and healing. Let's welcome

  21. Dr. Venter as he comes. Thank you so much. I'm

  22. still on. Yeah, I am still on. You can bring

  23. up my sound a little bit on my monitors, if you

  24. don't mind, please. You know, when you read the

  25. Bible, you find out that a strange thing takes

  26. place in the biblical time, just like today.

  27. And that is that multitudes of people were there

  28. only out of curiosity. Only a few people. had

  29. the intention of getting to the master, getting

  30. to the inner circle. I mean, if you just think

  31. of when the temple was filled with people, so

  32. much so that there was no room for any one extra.

  33. They had to break through the tiles of the house.

  34. Bible says the power of God was there to heal

  35. them, but they just sat there and questioned.

  36. See, that's religion. See, the same thing, you

  37. know, with the multitude, multitude thronging

  38. Jesus. And when that woman with the issue of

  39. blood pushed through, she had the intention.

  40. Everybody say intention. See, you've got to come

  41. to church with an intention. You know, your intention

  42. is what is going to drive you through. Because,

  43. you know, there's a lot of things you're going

  44. to come drive through when you want to receive

  45. a touch from God. Because one of the most natural

  46. things that most people have is a fear of man.

  47. You know, most people don't want to come stand

  48. up front here to speak because they're afraid

  49. of man. It's not like they're afraid, but it's

  50. just they hold back. So many that don't want

  51. to be made a fool of. That's one of the things.

  52. The second thing is, you know, when you've come

  53. to church a long time, you've seen it all. Come

  54. on, can I hear an amen? You've seen it all. You've

  55. seen people fake. You've seen people do things,

  56. you know, that you don't. really know if it was

  57. real. You've seen people just, you know, quake

  58. and shake and, you know, all sorts of stuff like

  59. that. And now it's affecting you. And you're

  60. missing out just because you remember those and

  61. you hold back because you don't want to be like

  62. that. Hey, listen, you are not like that. Come

  63. on, look at somebody and say, I'm not like that.

  64. So when you come tonight, you know, you've got

  65. to come with an intention to receive. We're going

  66. to have an anointing service tonight, and we

  67. do this around the world. And we see the most

  68. incredible miracles. We see people come out of

  69. wheelchairs. We see people receive their sight.

  70. You know, it's just amazing. Pastor Dale, and

  71. I think, were you with me also when we did one

  72. of those in Africa? You know, it's the only difference

  73. between Africa and here, they're not afraid of

  74. getting wet with oil. Over here, we've got to

  75. use drabs, you know, just a small little bit.

  76. But, you know, I'm not going to. I'm going to

  77. just absolutely just mess you up here tonight.

  78. No, I won't really, but, you know, we really

  79. want you to receive from God. Now, when you form

  80. the lines here tonight, and later on, Pastor

  81. will come and explain how he wants it done. When

  82. you form the line, I want you to come with an

  83. intention to receive from God. And, you know,

  84. take your Bibles, if you will, and just go to

  85. Hebrews 2, and I want to just read you something.

  86. Pastor Dale was, Hebrews 3, he was briefly referring

  87. to the rest of God. And I don't want to teach

  88. on the rest of God. I really rather want to teach

  89. on the word enter. Enter. See, that's one of

  90. the things, you know, in the tabernacle of the

  91. Old Testament. All the artifacts in there were

  92. shadows of things to come. And there was a door

  93. into every, there was three sections in the tabernacle.

  94. Each one had a door. And to get to the next level

  95. and the next level, to get to the first level,

  96. first thing you had to do is enter. And then

  97. when you wanted to go to the next one, you had

  98. to enter again. And when a high priest wanted

  99. to go into the holy of holies, he had to enter

  100. again. Enter. Say it with me. Enter. You've got

  101. to want to enter, you know. Stop remembering

  102. what John Doe did when you thought he was faking

  103. stuff. You are not here tonight to fake stuff.

  104. We're going to speak about the anointing, and

  105. then you're going to come forward, and you're

  106. going to come with the intention of receiving

  107. an anointing, an anointing of healing or breaking

  108. a yoke of bondage, whatever it is for, but you

  109. are going to receive something. from God in this

  110. service tonight. Give him a hand clap of praise,

  111. will you? Can I get some water, please, some

  112. water? Now, Hebrews 3, Paul is teaching, and

  113. he says in verse 7, therefore now, just to give

  114. you a little brief, you know, introduction to

  115. our scripture reading, he was, thank you so much,

  116. honey. You know, by the way, just stand here

  117. if you don't mind. Just turn around, let them

  118. just see. You know, this is my wife, Hanley.

  119. Come on, make her feel welcome, will you? She's

  120. really a jewel. You know, I asked her, you want

  121. to say something tonight? And she said, definitely

  122. not. But I think she should just greet you. Go

  123. ahead and just greet them a little. I was just

  124. thinking tonight. What a wonderful church this

  125. is. And you all let us feel so welcome. And I

  126. really appreciate that. It's wonderful to be

  127. here. And just glory to God. Amen. Amen. Thank

  128. you. That's great, baby. Thank you. You know,

  129. the thing is. You know, years ago, let me just

  130. back up a little bit. Years ago, I was doing

  131. a conference, and it was like a town hall meeting

  132. the second to the last night. And they would

  133. ask me questions, and I'd have to answer. And

  134. my wife then, Basie, was with me. And so one

  135. of the questions they asked her, and this was

  136. on world television. You know, this was in Bob.

  137. Bob Rogers' church, and one of the questions

  138. that was asked, does Jan make you happy? And

  139. I just knew, you know, she's going to just let

  140. the world know what a great man I am and, you

  141. know, how wonderful I was. And then her answer

  142. came like that, and she said, no. I turned to

  143. her and I said in my own language, you know,

  144. I said, honey, you're on world TV. You know,

  145. what are you talking about? You know, change

  146. your answer. But then she said, if I had to depend

  147. on Jan to make me happy, it'll never happen because

  148. he's so busy. God makes me happy. Come on, give

  149. God a praise offering. And that's Hanley. That's

  150. Hanley. Now, he was talking about, Paul was teaching

  151. actually about the things that happened in the

  152. Old Testament. When Moses was leading a rebellious

  153. group of people that saw miracle after miracle,

  154. supernatural stuff, things that you have never

  155. seen. I mean, you know, the sea parting, you

  156. know, mountains quaking, water coming out of

  157. a rock, you know, just bread falling every morning

  158. upon the people, feeding three million and more

  159. people. You know, it's just miraculous stuff.

  160. And yet they did not draw nigh unto God. What

  161. can I get? What is the next thing that I can

  162. receive? And now that's why Paul was teaching

  163. on this. And here in verse 7 of chapter 3, he

  164. says, therefore, as the Holy Spirit says today,

  165. if you will hear his voice, don't harden your

  166. heart. Verse 10, and therefore, God says, I was

  167. angry with that generation and said, they always

  168. go astray in their hearts. And they have not

  169. known my ways. So I swore in my wrath, they shall

  170. not enter. There's that word. They shall not

  171. enter my rest. And then a little bit further

  172. down, he's talking in chapter 4. And he says,

  173. therefore, since a promise remains of entering,

  174. there's a promise that is open still tonight

  175. for you to enter. You have to enter into his

  176. presence. He says, therefore, since the promise

  177. remains of entering his rest, let us fear. Or

  178. another word, a better translation, I think,

  179. should have possibly been, let us become highly

  180. concerned. You know, have sleepless nights. Go

  181. home tonight and have a sleepless night because

  182. you did not, you seem to come short of it. Short

  183. of what? Of entering. You're in the service here

  184. tonight. And the enemy for some reason. Or your

  185. own person. For some reason will hang back. And

  186. you're just one of those that wants to just hear.

  187. You just want to see another miracle. Hey listen.

  188. God wants to do something here for each and every

  189. person. And you have to come with intention of

  190. receiving from God. Go ahead and give him another

  191. praise. offering, will you? Glory to God. Now,

  192. you know, the anointing, the anointing is an

  193. incredible thing. You know, when you accept Christ

  194. as your Lord and Savior, a couple of things happen

  195. right away. First thing that happens is he gives

  196. you the gift of believing. Faith is not something

  197. you generate. Faith is not something you buy.

  198. Faith is not something you earn. The moment you

  199. receive Christ, salvation is the first thing

  200. you receive. And then secondly, you receive faith.

  201. He's given to every man a measure of faith. And

  202. then the third thing is the anointing. John writes

  203. in 1 John 2, you have an anointing. It's already

  204. in you. All that has to happen is you have to

  205. allow it to manifest. You have to allow it to

  206. come to the front. You have an anointing. Come

  207. on, look at somebody and say, you have an anointing.

  208. Now, come on, just look at somebody the other

  209. way and say, I have an anointing. Powerful stuff.

  210. You know, let me tell you something. You know,

  211. it's not just goosebumps. The anointing, let

  212. me tell you about the anointing. The anointing

  213. breaks yokes of bondage. With other words, you'll

  214. possibly see tonight when we lay hands on people,

  215. and if there's deliverance needed, deliverance

  216. is going to take place. That heavy yoke that

  217. you've been carrying on your shoulders is going

  218. to be broken tonight. That cancer spirit that

  219. you have been dragging with you for so long,

  220. its neck is going to be broken here tonight because

  221. that's what the anointing does. Yeah, go ahead

  222. and just praise him. Glory to God. Oh, come on.

  223. Give him some more. Just give the Lord a hand.

  224. But you have to come with the intention. It's

  225. amazing, you know, Pastor Dale was talking about

  226. it this morning. I thought maybe it's just in

  227. my ministry that you see it, but he demonstrated

  228. it very well. When you lay hands on some people,

  229. they come and stand like this. And when you lay

  230. your hand on them, it feels like you're laying

  231. your hand on a piece of furniture. See, the anointing

  232. is transferable also. See, the anointing, I mean,

  233. you can draw the anointing. You know, both of

  234. us, I say it not with pride, I'm saying it with

  235. thankfulness. Both of us, including your pastor,

  236. we carry a heavy anointing. Come on, I can tell

  237. you right now, we carry a heavy anointing. And

  238. you can draw on that tonight. You know, when

  239. that woman with issue of blood touched Jesus,

  240. he said, I felt virtue go out of me. And when

  241. you come here tonight to receive from God, you

  242. know, absolutely open your heart. And, you know,

  243. if you've seen people fake falling before, well,

  244. so be it. You've seen people, you know, that's

  245. fake running or jumping before. So be it. That's

  246. not you. And if you come here tonight and you

  247. say to yourself, I'm coming with an intention

  248. to receive whatever God, you know, I struggled

  249. for so long to receive the baptism in the Holy

  250. Spirit as a young man. I mean, I got saved when

  251. I was 12 and when I'm 21, not for lack of trying,

  252. I just couldn't get it. You know, I have an analytical

  253. mind. You know, that's just the way my mind works.

  254. And, you know, I couldn't figure this out much

  255. until I got sick and tired of not having it.

  256. And I can clearly remember the 3rd of September

  257. of that year when I was 21. On a Saturday night,

  258. I was walking around, you know, around and around

  259. a big old willow tree outside at night. And I

  260. was saying to God, Tomorrow morning, Lord, I'm

  261. going to church with the intention of receiving

  262. the baptism in the Holy Spirit. I am going to

  263. speak in tongues tomorrow morning. You promised

  264. it, and because you promised it, I claim it,

  265. and I claim it even right now. And then I said,

  266. Lord, no matter what the preacher says to invite

  267. people forward, I'm going to run forward. And

  268. it just so happened it was one of the deadest

  269. services I've been in a long time. And the pastor,

  270. it was also a communion service. And then he

  271. used the word, will the ushers please come? That

  272. was my word. That was the word I was looking

  273. for. I just come. I ran forward and stood in

  274. front of him. I think I shocked the daylights

  275. out of him, you know, because he looked at me

  276. and he was confused. He said, yes. And I said,

  277. yes. And when he laid his hands on me, that's

  278. the last I remember. I woke up much later with

  279. my head under the communion table. And what had

  280. happened, let me tell you, not only did I receive

  281. the baptism in the Holy Spirit, but revival broke

  282. out in that little church. You know, I'm telling

  283. you, come on, give him a handcup of praise. Glory

  284. to God. And I've seen it over and over. I've

  285. seen it over and over and with him also. And

  286. I'm saying this once again in humbleness. I am

  287. revival. Because that's my anointing. And when

  288. you come forward here tonight, there's no telling

  289. what's going to happen because we are revival.

  290. That's the anointing we carry. We are healing.

  291. That's what God gave us. When you come here within

  292. the circle of our presence, wherever we are,

  293. you are going to receive whatever your intention

  294. is to receive. Give him one more hand clap of

  295. praise. Glory to God. Oh! You know, I said to

  296. Pastor Dale here before the service, do you feel

  297. it also? He said, man, I'm telling you, I feel

  298. it all around me here, you know, the anointing.

  299. I know many of you could feel it tonight. The

  300. worship service was just incredible. Come on,

  301. give them a good hand clap. That was just incredible.

  302. It really was. But it doesn't stop there. It's

  303. now going to go, and you got to come, when you

  304. come forward for a touch, you come with the intention

  305. of entering. And if you do end up on the floor,

  306. hey, listen, that's normally, I've seen, we've

  307. seen people, you know, receive a touch from God

  308. and went into a trance for the entire night until

  309. the next morning. You know, don't receive a touch

  310. from God and then just, you know, jump up, stay

  311. there for a while. It's God's operating table.

  312. God is going to do some stuff for you. You know,

  313. the Bible says that in 1 John 2 and 27, As for

  314. you, the anointing which you receive from him

  315. abides in you, and you have no need for anyone

  316. to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you

  317. about all things, and it's true and it's not

  318. a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide

  319. in him. The anointing brings revelation. When

  320. you operate in that anointing, you open up the

  321. Bible, it's amazing how those words will suddenly

  322. just jump up at you. And you find out, my goodness,

  323. I never saw this before. I already told you it's

  324. going to break the yoke of bondage. And I want

  325. to give you two more. Psalms 45 says that you

  326. have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.

  327. Therefore, Your God has anointed you with the

  328. oil of joy and gladness. Don't be surprised tonight

  329. when you come here for a touch of God that you're

  330. going to break out with laughter and joy and

  331. happiness. And you'll go home and people won't

  332. know what happened to you. You can just say,

  333. hey, I've been in the presence of God because

  334. in his presence there is fullness of joy. Go

  335. ahead and praise him. Glory to God. Then James

  336. 5. I'm going to end with this one. James chapter

    James 5 chapter mention

  337. 5. The anointing also brings healing. He said,

  338. you know, somebody's sick. Bring them. Bring

  339. them to the elders. Let them anoint them with

  340. oil. And the prayer of faith will raise up the

  341. sick. The anointing can and will also bring the

  342. healing that you have. Need of people here tonight.

  343. I know there's people here. You came because

  344. there's some stuff going on and God alone can

  345. break it. So I want you and I, before I, before

  346. I end, I just, you know, there's so much more

  347. I want to say, but I just want you to say to

  348. yourself, tonight is my night. Come and look

  349. at somebody right now and say, tonight is my

  350. night. Now, you know, when you come for the touch

  351. from God, I want you to understand this is not

  352. a doctrinal thing. Isn't that right, Brother

  353. Dale? It's not a doctrinal thing. Come and talk

  354. to him about this. Give him a handclap of praise

  355. when he comes. Just make him feel welcome. Always,

  356. always excellent, Jan. Always. Wow. Praise God.

  357. You know, I've just got to say I love Jan Venter.

  358. He is a super guy. A real man of God. A real

  359. man of God. And before I carry on also in respect

  360. to the anointing, may I say how much I have appreciated

  361. The way that you in this church have taken this

  362. time of ministry seriously. You guys have prayed.

  363. You've been your seed. You've given. You have

  364. worked at every level, not just on the stage.

  365. Our stage folks have done a bang -up job, have

  366. they not? Just absolutely amazing, the folks.

  367. But these guys back in the sound and video area,

  368. we've not one night had to turn around and look

  369. at them. You have gone unnoticed, and that was

  370. a good thing. But I've noticed. Thank you so

  371. much for what you have done. Really. Our ushers,

  372. greeters, those that have served in other capacities

  373. have done so well. And while we give all the

  374. glory to Jesus, We also recognize that it is

  375. the gift of God that is in your pastor and his

  376. wife that have... See, they don't just have an

  377. anointing to preach. Go ahead. Yeah. Yeah. They

  378. don't just have an anointing to preach, they

  379. have an anointing to lead. And this scripture

  380. has already been read or quoted tonight that

  381. God has given, and he listed within that five

  382. -fold ministry, that their purpose wasn't entirely

  383. to do, but to equip. And you have been well equipped,

  384. and you are yet being equipped. Therefore, you're

  385. going to hear the well done. Well done. I talked

  386. to my wife today and I told her, I said, this

  387. really is an extraordinary church and the way

  388. that you guys are impacting this community and

  389. this area and the world with the gift of God

  390. that is in you. it really at every and i went

  391. through it with her at every level the way that

  392. you guys do what you do with excellence but also

  393. with the power of the holy spirit so the evidence

  394. of anointing has been before you not just with

  395. incoming guests but you dwell with that and that's

  396. something that uh the passage that jan has already

  397. quoted and by the way he didn't leave anything

  398. for me to say so i'm going to reiterate what

  399. he said but but the passage in first john 2 27

  400. says the anointing you've received of him abides

  401. in you you have an abiding anointing here not

  402. a come and go thing it's an abiding anointing

  403. you know when when we lay our hands on you and

  404. minister his anointing tonight, you want to look

  405. for something that you're going to keep. This

  406. is not a Sunday night experience. This is something

  407. that you will carry home with you. And let me

  408. tell you what I think. I think it can rub off

  409. on the generations that follow you too. Amen.

  410. That kind of anointing. You know, Jesus said

  411. in Luke 4 and verse 18, it was the mission statement

  412. of his ministry, right? As he was opening his

  413. first message, if you were to say, to preach

  414. as a man on the earth. And he said, the spirit

  415. of the Lord is upon me. Because, now listen to

  416. this, the spirit of the Lord is upon me. Because

  417. there's a reason why the Spirit is upon you.

  418. Do you get this? There's purpose in it. There's

  419. a reason for it. You must understand that. He's

  420. upon us because he has anointed me to. And that's

  421. as far as I'm gonna go in the quotation of that

  422. verse. I realize most guys take now the next

  423. few lines and they beat on that, which is really

  424. good, you know, and they expand on that. And

  425. I would like to do that too, but that's not what

  426. I wanna do tonight. I just want you to see something

  427. that the spirit of the Lord is upon you and he's

  428. anointed you too. It's a purpose. There's a purpose

  429. in the anointing. Now, we do feel the anointing,

  430. but that's not why it's there. But I like that.

  431. I do, you know, someone says, well, we don't

  432. go by feelings. Great, but don't try to take

  433. mine away from me. Come on, I enjoy feeling his

  434. presence. I enjoy feeling the flow of his spirit,

  435. the activity of the Holy Ghost. There's nothing,

  436. there's really nothing special about being numb.

  437. But it's, it's not about. The feeling. It's about

  438. purpose. So he's anointed us to. There's an anointing

  439. on you. To do something. To be effective. To

  440. be fruitful. To be able to stand against the

  441. stream. There's an anointing on you for that.

  442. You want to embrace that. That purpose. That

  443. empowerment. We lay our hands on you tonight.

  444. We're believing God for an anointing. Wow. The

  445. anointing heals. James 5 passage that Jan was

  446. quoting there. And I like the way James says

  447. it. He starts out by saying, is there any sick

  448. among you? Wow. I long for the day that I can

  449. be in a church. Where you actually question whether

  450. anybody could be sick in this group. Think about

  451. that. I mean, that was his top question. You

  452. think there's anybody around here sick? I don't

  453. know. My mentor used to say he held on. and the

  454. crusade I was in with him, I think I told you

  455. this morning, went 17 weeks. And he was really

  456. kind of being humorous when he would say this,

  457. not being cocky, but he would say this, by the

  458. time this crusade is over, you're either going

  459. to be healed or ashamed to say you're sick. But

  460. James, he's asking the question. Is there any

  461. sick among you? And then he gives them the directive.

  462. Let him call on the elders of the church. Let

  463. them pray over him. Anointing him with oil. Someone

  464. say anointing him with oil. In the name of the

  465. Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the

  466. sick. I like that. And the Lord shall raise him.

  467. You see how positive he is? They shall save the

  468. sick. And the Lord shall raise him up. And look

  469. at this. And if he's committed sins. He's all

  470. washed up. No, he said, they'll be forgiven him.

  471. If no one else is going to dance about that,

  472. I'm going to. All alone. Come on. Even sin can't

  473. stop the anointing. Are you hearing that? Come

  474. on. Now, we understand he's talking about the

  475. one who's being forgiven of their sin. So there

  476. is the repentant attitude. But don't say, don't

  477. even think, oh, because I've sinned. And you've

  478. repented a thousand times for the same sin. It's

  479. because of your unbelief. Oh, don't look at me

  480. in that tone of voice. Why do we live with such

  481. a sin consciousness when we need to live with

  482. a righteousness consciousness? You've repented

  483. of your sin, then believe it. He's cleansed you

  484. and forgiven you. And don't you let there be

  485. a stop on your anointing because of your past.

  486. But it heals the sick. You know the difference

  487. between the sick being prayed for and being healed

  488. is anointing. That's it. And coming, as Brother

  489. Jan so adequately said, to enter into and to

  490. draw on that anointing. I'm looking for people.

  491. Do you get healed tonight? Not to just rub oil

  492. on them and pray for them so they walk out greasy

  493. and prayed for. You know, I was in a crusade

  494. years ago in Illinois, and it was the third week

  495. of the meeting, and the lady had, this was her

  496. first night out. So many of her friends had been

  497. out, and they had been healed, and they'd been

  498. on her case to come on out, but she hadn't come.

  499. Finally, she came, and I was walking up the aisle,

  500. the center aisle, to get to the stage, and when

  501. she called out to me, and I paused for a moment,

  502. and she said to me, I've come tonight because

  503. I've got this, this, this, this. And she told

  504. me all the stuff that she had wrong with her,

  505. that she needed to be healed of. And bless her

  506. darling heart, it would have been easier to tell

  507. me what she didn't have than what she did have.

  508. She had a grocery of this stuff. And then she

  509. said, she went on to say, and I want you to know,

  510. I've had Oral Roberts pray with me and Kenneth

  511. Hagin has prayed with me. And she went through

  512. all the biggies, you know. And then she said,

  513. do you think that I should have you pray for

  514. me tonight? And her friends were so excited.

  515. And I looked right in her eyes and said, no,

  516. I don't think so. And she was so surprised. And

  517. I says, why? I says, because it looks to me like

  518. that you're coming everywhere just to be prayed

  519. for. Why don't you come and get healed tonight?

  520. And I wasn't trying to be cocky or mean. I mean,

  521. that comes natural to me because I was born in

  522. New York. But I was trying to catch her attention

  523. that the issue for her had been just to go let

  524. people. You know, do the little sympathetic thing

  525. instead of going for a change. The anointing

  526. will heal you tonight. Come on. Now, I like the

  527. Isaiah passage, Isaiah 10 and verse 27, and I

  528. read just one part of it. And I like the way

  529. it's rendered here. It says, and the yoke shall

  530. be, but look at this word. The yoke shall be

  531. destroyed. Because of the anointing. Now, I've

  532. got some wonderful grandchildren, five of them.

  533. And occasionally, quite often, in fact, my wife

  534. and I, when we get with them, we'll bring a little

  535. something. And sometimes... one of them will

  536. come or I will come back and see them and either

  537. their mother or my wife might be present and

  538. say, oh, you know, the thing that you got for

  539. whichever one it was, that's, you know, they,

  540. you know, they're very upset because they broke

  541. it. Now, if they say they broke it, here's what

  542. I do. I say, well, let me see it. Because I know

  543. that when something is broken, sometimes I can

  544. fix it. But if they say to me, you know, that

  545. thing that you got, like my grandson Max, you

  546. know, the thing you got from Max, he destroyed

  547. it. Well, that's it. I don't even want to see

  548. it anymore because there's no hope there. Let

  549. me tell you about the anointing. It destroys.

  550. I was in the Baltimore area in a crusade. My

  551. father -in -law was with me. At that time, he

  552. was in his mid -later 70s. And I noticed when

  553. I looked out into the crowd the opening Sunday

  554. morning, and it was a large place, and it was

  555. jammed. But over to this side, and they were

  556. all, this was, like I say, at least 10 years

  557. ago, and they were all very, let's say the house

  558. had a lot of suits in it. All right? They were

  559. very proper. I came out on the stage. All the

  560. leadership came up behind me. They all sat in

  561. seats out there. They had it. They got it together.

  562. If you couldn't be stiff there, you couldn't

  563. be stiff. But I looked over to the side and I

  564. saw three rows of emo kids. Boy, did they ever

  565. stand out. Now, if you don't know what emo kids

  566. are, you know what gothics are, these guys take

  567. it to another level. So I looked over there and

  568. I saw all those emo kids and I thought, wow,

  569. that's quite a sight to see. And my heart goes

  570. out to kids for a wide variety of reasons. And

  571. one of them is because the gift of God came into

  572. my life as a child. You've heard me just make

  573. quick statements about my... my experience with

  574. christ and and it began early at seven years

  575. of age in fact in fact the uh the the bulk uh

  576. really the the seed of what was going to happen

  577. in my life my destiny came to me before i hit

  578. my teenage years and by this time i was early

  579. into my teenage years i was already traveling

  580. this nation preaching this gospel so when i i

  581. see kids i look at them and i say people say

  582. they're the next generation i say they're the

  583. now generation you need to step up to the plate

  584. right now Right now, I mean, get with it. Good

  585. night. You know, I mean, here's how I really

  586. feel about it. You know, if you're young enough,

  587. you know, to know that you're alive, get with

  588. the program. Why are we waiting for some other

  589. day to come? And for all the rest of us that

  590. are a little older, you know, if you're old enough

  591. to know you're still alive, then get with the

  592. program. I mean, anyhow. So my heart goes out

  593. to them for that reason. So I walked down to

  594. where the emo kids were, and I started telling

  595. them about my call and early in life, my encounter

  596. with Christ, how he changed me. They were very

  597. early. And then I picked out one of the young

  598. men, and I... I brought him right across to the

  599. front, you know. And he had those red skater

  600. jeans on that made these things look like they're

  601. baggy, you know what I'm talking about. And he

  602. had the little gold chain with it and the whatever

  603. hair and such, you know. And I linked arms with

  604. him like that real close. And I said to him,

  605. I said, you've got to help me out, man. Now,

  606. I was wearing jeans. I was wearing Jesus. So

  607. what? Well, that's back when they were wearing

  608. suits. I mean, when I came out, I told you my

  609. father -in -law was with me. He was in his 70s,

  610. about 78 at the time. And he said to me that

  611. when I walked out on the stage, he said there

  612. was an older couple in front of me. And I'm thinking,

  613. you're 78. How old were they that you're calling

  614. them an older couple? I mean, these guys. Wow,

  615. anyhow. But he said there was an older couple

  616. sitting in front of him. And he says, and when

  617. I walked out on the stage with the jeans on,

  618. the woman turned to her husband and said, will

  619. you look at him? He's got dungarees on. Now you

  620. understand that no one under 40 laughs because

  621. they have no idea what I'm talking about. They're

  622. thinking it's something you get from the app

  623. store. But anyhow. Anyhow, I held that kid close,

  624. and I says, look, I says, you've got to help

  625. me out. I said, my God, look around here. Look

  626. around. All these people with these jackets and

  627. ties on. Me and you, we're the only one with

  628. jeans. You've got to help me out. You can't leave

  629. me here alone all week long. You know, everybody

  630. roared and laughed, but it really knit me together

  631. with those emo kids. When I went back to the

  632. hotel that afternoon with my father -in -law,

  633. I said, if you notice, the kids, especially the

  634. girls, you see they all wear very long sleeves.

  635. I said, that's not because they're being conservative.

  636. That's because a lot of them are cutters. And

  637. their arms are marked with scars. That night,

  638. God delivered all of those emo kids. Monday night.

  639. Monday night there were 20 of them on their back

  640. speaking with other tongues. When we came the

  641. Wednesday night we had some testimonies and one

  642. of the girls came but she just had one of those

  643. little tops that just has a crop right over the

  644. shoulder like that. She was the first one up

  645. to testify. And she told how that God met her

  646. on Sunday and changed her heart and filled her

  647. with the Holy Ghost on Monday and she held her

  648. arms out like this. And I'm standing right next

  649. to her when she testified and this is the honest

  650. to God truth. If I put two fingers together,

  651. there was no place I could have put them on her

  652. arms if there wasn't the marks and the scars

  653. from the cutting. And she said, this may look

  654. awful to you right now, but he delivered me from

  655. this on Sunday. But she said, And she said, furthermore,

  656. they've already faded 50%. Yeah, that's what

  657. she said. And guess what? They've kept in contact

  658. with me. You say, well, they still live in Baltimore?

  659. No, no, they went off to Maine to a Bible school.

  660. And now they're pastors, pastors' wives, and

  661. they're in the ministry of the Lord. Understand

  662. why? Because... This anointing destroys, it literally

  663. destroys the yoke of bondage. Let me just point

  664. out this one last thing and then let's do it,

  665. let's do it. I won't even read the passage, but

  666. you'll find in the passage of Leviticus 21. like

  667. between verses 10 and 13, that we discover another

  668. wonderful thing about the anointing is that it

  669. consecrates. Now, consecrate, that's quite a

  670. word, isn't it? I mean, when was the last time

  671. that you were checking out at the tractor store

  672. and asked somebody, so what have you been doing

  673. this week? And they said, oh, well, we've been

  674. consecrating. I mean, that's just not really

  675. a term we hear too often in our society. But

  676. the consecrate, and boy, that's a whole thought

  677. and message within itself. But can I simplify

  678. it and just say it this way? The consecrate means

  679. to mark as holy. Now, we're going to put some

  680. oil on you tonight. I'm going to be very discreet.

  681. Jan's going to baptize you. Oh no, did I? No,

  682. he's not. That was wrong. Here's the deal. We're

  683. going to put some oil on you tonight. And when

  684. we take that oil and I'm going to wipe it like

  685. right here on your forehead. If someone was to

  686. look at you as you walk away. And maybe they

  687. even got distracted and didn't actually see you

  688. when I touched you, and now they see you heading

  689. down the aisle to go, and they might think, oh,

  690. did he get anointed? They're going to look up

  691. and go, oh, there it is. Yeah, you bet. Yeah,

  692. he did. You're going to see that oil there. But

  693. you're going to go back and wipe that oil off,

  694. I understand. But, you know, there's nothing,

  695. and I was telling my son this the other day.

  696. I said, there's nothing that we do in the natural.

  697. as a result or under a command of the Lord or

  698. directive of Scripture that is only symbolic.

  699. Did you hear what I just said? There's nothing

  700. that we do in the natural that is only symbolic

  701. if it is something that is directed of the Spirit

  702. and of the Scripture. At the same time, there's

  703. something happening in the Spirit realm. When

  704. I put this hand on the sick to be healed, people

  705. say, well, that's just symbolic. Well, it is

  706. symbolic, but it's not just symbolic. There's

  707. another hand. Did you hear me? There's another

  708. hand that goes right there at that same time.

  709. And I believe when I put this oil of God upon

  710. you, there's going to be someone else that's

  711. going to be putting some oil on you. While you

  712. may wipe this one off, you won't wipe that off.

  713. And when you step out of this room, there are

  714. going to be those who will see that mark. Do

  715. you understand what I said? You walk into that

  716. hospital room and those afflicting spirits who

  717. have been diseasing that individual. are there

  718. in that room, the minute you walk in, they're

  719. going to look up and they're going to see that

  720. mark of consecration. And they're going to say,

  721. oh, this is going to be a bad day for us. But

  722. listen, there are some others in that room too.

  723. It's those angels that were sent to attend to

  724. that one. and when you walk in that room they're

  725. going to look right up and they go that's what

  726. we were looking for we've got cooperation here

  727. the mark is upon them i'm not talking crazy talk

  728. to you i'm talking real speech they'll see it

  729. They'll know it. Let me tell you something. People

  730. are all worried about the devil's here, the devil's

  731. there. Let me tell you something. When you walk

  732. out of here with the anointing of God and you

  733. go back into that place of business, home or

  734. wherever it is where the enemy has been so active,

  735. the minute you walk in with that mark of his

  736. consecration and his empowerment, you're going

  737. to give the devil hives. Amen. Amen. So as you

  738. come tonight, I want you to come in faith. I

  739. want you to come with expectation. I want you

  740. to come with a heart open. I want you to come

  741. with a sense of the Spirit. Don't be standing

  742. in line with your cell phone checking your Instagram.

  743. Why don't you come praying in the Spirit with

  744. a heart open to what God is doing. Expect something

  745. great. And you know what you're going to get?

  746. You're going to get more. I can promise you this.

  747. Whatever you think you got, I don't care if you

  748. feel like you went into the third heavens when

  749. we anoint you and heard the very choir of God.

  750. I can promise you this. You're going to find

  751. out in the days to come you got a lot more than

  752. that. I've never, never in my life have I ever

  753. fully appreciated or properly appraised any work

  754. of God that came to me. I always have. And let

  755. me tell you, I'm not alone with this, baby. I

  756. always underestimate what he has done. He's always

  757. doing more. Exceedingly, abundantly. Above all

  758. that you can ask or think. Whatever you think

  759. you got tonight, I can promise you, it was more.

  760. was more. Now, I'm going to tell you, on the

  761. other hand, if when we lay our hands on you and

  762. anoint you, you don't feel like you got squat.

  763. You say, I don't know what I got. I slapped oil

  764. in my face. That was nice. I can tell you what,

  765. you got more. There have been times when men

  766. have laid hands on me and I've hit the floor

  767. and been out for a long time, got up, only to

  768. know that he did way more in me than what I understood

  769. in that moment. And there have been other times

  770. that people have laid hands on me and I thought,

  771. well, I really appreciate it. It was very kind

  772. of you. Thank you so much for doing it. And then

  773. turn around and realize, wow, did I get more.

  774. I have done some of the African -American conference,

  775. prophetic conferences up in the codas. And I

  776. remember one time I was up there and the lady

  777. prophet that I've known for quite so many years

  778. was to pray with me because up at that point

  779. I had gone years and years and years without

  780. being able to recall a dream. And I said, I know

  781. one of the main languages of the spirit of dreams

  782. and visions, but I know I dream, otherwise you

  783. go out of your mind. I said, but I don't ever

  784. remember. I can't tell you in 10 years I'm remembering

  785. even a pizza dream. I was a holy ghost woman.

  786. And she said, well, at the right time I'll lay

  787. hands on you. She said, I had the same thing.

  788. And I got prayed for and it opened right up to

  789. me. So at one point in the conference, she just

  790. said, this is it, come on up, come on up. And

  791. I went up and she laid hands on me and I really

  792. respect her, but I gotta tell you, I didn't in

  793. a sense feel anything at all, but I was appreciative.

  794. I mean, you know, and she prayed for me. I thought,

  795. thank you very much. And then I turned around

  796. to walk back to my seat and I was drunk. Do you

  797. hear what I just said? Did you know what I just

  798. said? I was drunk. I barely made it back to my

  799. seat and I was shocked. I was as shocked as I

  800. was drunk. I didn't know what happened. And boy,

  801. it opened up just like that to me. I remember

  802. dreams every night. I'm just going to tell you,

  803. look for more. When we touch you, when you walk

  804. out of this room, whatever you believe you got,

  805. look for more. Expect more. There's going to

  806. be exceedingly abundantly stuff going on. interested
