  1. Welcome to Transformation Church podcast, where we represent God to the lost and found

  2. for transformation in Christ. We're so glad you're here and wherever you're listening from,

  3. we believe God will transform your life. Do today's message. Welcome the

  4. week four of a series we're calling somebody say fresh Fruit. And at Transformation

  5. Church, we believe that this year God has given us a prophetic word,

  6. and the word is fruit that out of our lives, out of our marriages,

  7. out of our money, out of our businesses, out of our thought

  8. processes, there needs to be what is the word fruit? Many of us

  9. have not seen fruit in our lives in decades. It's been the same cycle.

  10. But I believe about the power of the Holy Spirit and the revelation through

  11. teaching and the spirit of God that is in this place, and your desire

  12. to continue to hunger and thirst after those things that God is saying. I

  13. believe this year is going to be a turnaround year for many of us.

  14. Now you don't have to believe that, but those who do, there's something

  15. that happens to you. The Bible always tells us according to your faith,

  16. and you might as well. You have nothing to lose by actually believing God.

  17. And so today, in the two minutes that I have to preach this

  18. word to you, I'm going to try to do something that leaves a mark

  19. in your head that will never ever leave you ever again. The name of

  20. this series is fresh Fruit. But there's a tagline that we have not emphasized,

  21. and today I felt, by the Holy Spirit I was supposed to emphasize

  22. it to you. The name of this entire series is fresh Fruit. The

  23. proof is in the fruit. Write that down. The proof is in the

  24. fruit. And I need to say this to believers now. If you're not

  25. a believer yet, I love you. I'm gonna talk to you in just

  26. a second. Just hold on, you can listening to this private conversation that

  27. I'm about to have with people who have confessed Jesus christis that Lord and Savior.

  28. Don't care if you smoke, don't care if you have sex last night.

  29. It's all good. I'm just glad that you hear. I know other

  30. Christian people won't tell you that, but your boy, I'm with you.

  31. Why because I was there before. But hold on, let me have a

  32. conversation with my family. For believers, you talk too much. You talk

  33. about what you're gonna do. Talk about the Bible plan you're gonna finish,

  34. talk about the weight you're gonna lose, talk about being vegan, talk about

  35. being a virgin, talk about but may I submit to you that you could

  36. save a lot of words by just actually being the proof of what you desire

  37. to do. The proof is in the fruit, because nobody can argue with

  38. fruit. They can act like it ain't there, but they gotta step over

  39. it to move on. And there are too many believers that are out here

  40. with no fruit. So we have to talk about everything that we're gonna do

  41. and hypothesize, and then because we're not producing fruit, we criticize anybody that

  42. is because it ain't the type of fruit that I would put. You ain't

  43. got nothing to show for everything that God told you, but you have a

  44. lot to say. Okay, And I need to free the church that wants

  45. to produce everybody say more fruit from the chains of trying to prove yourself.

  46. There are too many people that are under the sound of My voice with Jesus

  47. Christ on the inside of them, that are trying to still prove things.

  48. You dress a certain way today, God, real quiet, somebody's like,

  49. hold on, wait, is he gonna say, I'll leave it alone?

  50. Just so you hear what I'm saying to you, many of us are doing

  51. things, trying to prove things to people who won't even see it. You

  52. missed it. You're doing things today in real life, trying to prove things

  53. to people, some of them that are in the grave. Still trying to

  54. prove to your mama that you're worth it, Still trying to prove to that

  55. coach that you can cut it, trying to prove to that boss who can

  56. give you a promotion, that you're worth it. And what I came to

  57. free you from today is that monkey, that that gorilla that's been on your

  58. back. Listen, the need to prove things comes from the inward doubt of

  59. things. So when you don't believe you can actually produce it because you did

  60. what you said you was gonna do, you start trying to prove that I

  61. am enough that I can make it happen. You don't believe in me,

  62. Watch this, and what ends up happening is the enemy distorts the motivation of

  63. your change. Did you hear what I just said? Many of you are

  64. doing the right thing with the wrong motivation because the enemy creeped in at the

  65. point of your insecurity and started flipping your motivation so that you think you're getting

  66. the right results. But it has a bad route. Oh, Matthew seven

  67. eighteen. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit. Did you hear what the

  68. word said? A good tree cannot bear bad fruit. But at the same

  69. token, a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not

  70. bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their

  71. fruits you will know them. Everybody gets exposed by their fruit. Did you

  72. hear what I just said? So this is the thing I want everybody to

  73. switch that has freed me in this new season of being fresh. Somebody say

  74. fresh, I'm not trying to prove them wrong. I'm trying to produce God

  75. right. I'm gonna say it one more time. I am no longer waking

  76. up going to work dressing to prove them wrong. I'm trying to produce God

  77. right. And if you wake up every morning trying to prove them wrong,

  78. you need to repent. I know it actually made you go to the gym

  79. because they said I'd never ever be able to do it. And I'm gonna

  80. show them. I'm gonna get this, but I'm gonna get this, and

  81. I'm gonna be this, and I'm gonna go I promise you. But what's

  82. happening is when you reach it. Then where does your motivation come from?

  83. What happens when you attain the thing that was motivated by something? That get

  84. this today? I want you to everybody say, repent if there's any area

  85. of your life that you've been doing. I'm gonna prove them wrong. Repent

  86. what does it mean? I'm gonna produce God right? Did y'all just see

  87. how easy that is. I'm gonna prove my parents wrong. I can make

  88. you without them. I don't need they little funky dollars. I don't need

  89. it. Instead of trying to prove them wrong, I'm gonna produce God right.

  90. God, make me a good steward whatever you put in my hands.

  91. Father, God, I actually do need my parents helping sees. Actually,

  92. Lord, if you could give them a prophetic word in the midnight hour to

  93. send me one hundred and fifty. Lord, I'm humble enough to say things

  94. like, see what every Christian life should look like? More? Where that

  95. backpack? At? Does anybody got that backpack. Pass it to me.

  96. What the Christian life should look like? Is us walking around? How y'all

  97. doing? Turn the light to Yeah, I'm at the gym. Hey Tammy,

  98. Brother? You good? What's your name? Man? Alan? Nice

  99. to meet you, bro. What's that baby? That baby like orange juice?

  100. That baby got a chain on? That baby? Need an orange?

  101. Baby two days old with a chain? Here we go? You want an

  102. orange? Where y'all go to school? Nowhere? You look young? But

  103. you you you, you're blessed. What's up? Be here? You go?

  104. What's up? Fam? You good? It's good to see you that

  105. you want fruit? Your daddy? He wants the fruit. Dad, I

  106. give you another one. So vict you be telling me to eat fruit all

  107. the time. Come on, it's my trainer right here. Take all this

  108. fruit? So big, daddy. You should be able to see the impact

  109. of my life, not by where I tell you I've been. Oh it's

  110. dark on the camera. It doesn't matter where I'm at. You could see

  111. my fruit. Oh you want something? He said over here? Over here?

  112. Do you see what happens when you start to produce fruit? You become

  113. desirable. I haven't stopped to watch anybody eat the fruit. I just produce

  114. it and drop it off at the gym, at the job, wherever I

  115. go. My life should be producing fruit. The saddest part about this moment

  116. right now or there are thousands of people around me that desire the fruit,

  117. but the bag is empty. So until I flipped it over, nobody didn't

  118. even knew that I still didn't have any fruit. And this is the season

  119. where God's exposing people. He's turning the bags over seeing that marriage look good

  120. on Instagram. No fruit, that business, they act like they drive a

  121. Lamborghini. They and so much debt. No fruit, no fruit. So

  122. what happens when the church tells the world, come and see our Jesus,

  123. no fruit, Come and meet the God that changed my life. Didn't he

  124. change your life fifteen years ago? Yes? What has happened since then?

  125. Nothing? I just carry around my fruit sack. I judge other people for

  126. not bearing fruit. Your fruit should be riper than that man of God.

  127. Where have you dropped off any fruit? I know from now on, I'm

  128. not gonna try to prove anybody wrong. I just say this small phrase in

  129. my head, look at my fruit. People can say anything they want about

  130. this church I'm not perfect. I mess up daily. I'm still trying to

  131. figure out how to be a pastor. If anybody wants to take my position,

  132. you can have it. This is not sexy, this is not fun,

  133. this is not all. Yes, I want to be a pastor.

  134. That was never my dream, and I'm scared of people who wake up like

  135. that. Just want to get on the platform and give God. Okay,

  136. the one thing that I will be able to stand on. When I stand

  137. before God, I'll be able to say, Lord, I messed up several

  138. times. I did the wrong thing tons of times, but I always repented

  139. and came back to you. But God, I hope that what I did

  140. there was some fruit. The reason I sleep at night when comments is going

  141. crazy, it's because I know that for every comment there's a key. We

  142. y'all missed it. For every comment, there's a cantalope. This is where

  143. the church has to move to because if we're gonna be effective on any level,

  144. if we're going to reach those people who actually need Jesus, we're not

  145. gonna be able to explain to everybody everything that's happening and why we did what

  146. we did and all the This is the reason why. And I'm just telling

  147. you pastorally as a church, this is the reason why we're doing ransom again.

  148. Now listen, hold on before you cheer, before you cheer, before

  149. you cheer, before cheer. We learned some things last year. We learned

  150. our platform was way bigger than our thought. We learned that there were a

  151. lot of people who were looking for things to be able. And I was

  152. like, oh, shoot, if this was at the PAC or the Performing

  153. Arts Center, they would love it. Because it was on the wrong day

  154. at the wrong venue and it was kind of good. Now, let's be

  155. real. They want me to come out here and whip somebody and like spray

  156. some ketchup and they'd be like, Jesus's blood, come on, let's be

  157. honest, and they will clown the church about it. And we're like,

  158. they didn't come to Christ because of that. No, it wasn't excellent at

  159. all. We saw the hinds in the guys. So because there was it

  160. was like, oh, that's too much, and y'all done. Rewrote Beyonce

  161. song and I mean I know the song and that wakes my spirits up and

  162. I just I get you. So do we stop doing it? Oh?

  163. No, because there us over six hundred people got saved. But what but

  164. watch this but watch But we're not prideful to say, yeah, we just

  165. gonna do it the same. No, we've been cutting on it, we've

  166. been submitting it, we've been looking at we're done. Rewrote almost all the

  167. songs. We've we've we've taken the things that we say, could we do

  168. this better? And what we're gonna do is this year we're gonna perfect it

  169. in house. This is why it's not gonna be live online for everybody seeing.

  170. I know all my Transformation Nations, people's like, forget damn pounds tomorrow,

  171. what your damn I'm in Georgia. I can't calme play Rassom for me.

  172. I got you. I love Transformation Nation. Y'all are ride or due,

  173. but hear me. But hear what I'm saying is I have enough wisdom

  174. to know that if we if we get it right this year, maybe we

  175. can take it on the road. See you miss it, you miss it.

  176. I don't quit on things that produce fruit just because they weren't perfect.

  177. And how many things has God made fruitful that you just said in their mind

  178. they didn't like? How it looked the first version, the second version,

  179. the third version didn't go over how I thought God saying, go back and

  180. cut on it. Somebody say cut on it. John fifteen to one say

  181. cut on it again. Uh uh. I am the true grapevine, and

  182. my father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that does

  183. not produce fruit, and he prunes, which also is another word for cut.

  184. He cuts the branches that do bear fruit so that they will produce.

  185. Watch this, even somebody say more fruit. Say it like you believe it.

  186. More fruit. Say it like it's gonna happen in your mind, in

  187. your life. More say it like your finances is gonna reflect it. Say

  188. it like your family is gonna change. More fruit. When I look at

  189. my bank account this week, more fruit. I don't care what it says.

  190. When I walk into my house. What am I saying? More I

  191. might be at the brink of divorce, but I'm calling it by faith.

  192. More fruit. But for more fruit, there's a formula. We've been talking

  193. about fresh fruit and fresh vision and a fresh church. You want more fruit?

  194. How many people want more fruit in the building? Get ready to scream

  195. for the title of the sermon? It's gonna take a fresh cut. Ohoo,

  196. hold on a fresh cut, pastor afresh cut. You're witnessing history right

  197. now. After ten years of pastoring, I've never ever come on any platform

  198. without a fresh cut. And today I am up here straight off of vacation

  199. where I spent time, a lot of time in the sun, sun and

  200. with the sun s n As you can see by my complexion, I didn't

  201. get a fresh cut. So I decided to use this as an illustration of

  202. what God's gonna do in our lives. And I'm gonna get a haircut on

  203. stage in front of you, something that is usually done in private. I'm

  204. gonna do it openly in front of you so that you can see the benefit

  205. of a fresh cut. Aaron, my barbera and friend is gonna come.

  206. Y'all give it up for Aaron real quick as he comes. Now, this

  207. is my dog and he I'm gonna let him set up, but he is

  208. actually terrified of what we're about to do. Because what I'm about to do

  209. is very dangerous because the level of passion that I preach with and the level

  210. of wanting you to get it really affects potentially the way that somebody could actually

  211. cut my hair. And this is not rehearsed or planned or practiced. This

  212. is about to be very fresh. But I want you to know from the

  213. script. Sure, watch this point. Write it down. I'm gonna preach

  214. this whole time while he's cutting me. He got the brother. How are

  215. you feeling right now? Are you feeling feeling? Feeling great? Our friendship

  216. is on the line. Write this down. You're getting cut either way.

  217. You're getting cut either way. You about to no, I don't no,

  218. no, no not. This black thing today is watermelon. I don't know

  219. this. Use my cake. There we go. Gotta be on brand,

  220. Thank you Jesus. Somebody say, you're getting cut it either way. This

  221. is God's process. Cutting is God's process of eliminating what isn't producing fruit,

  222. and it's also his way of expanding what is producing fruit. So if you

  223. don't embrace God cutting you, you are not actually getting the best out of

  224. what you have. Yeah, and one cut is going to cause you pain.

  225. Remember the scripture says, anybody who's not producing fruit, he cuts them

  226. off and throws them away. But the people who are producing fruit, he

  227. cuts them so that they can have more fruit. What I found out is

  228. one cut is full of pain and the other cut is full of promise.

  229. What I'm trying to get everybody in this room under the sound of my voice

  230. to realize is God in twenty twenty four, when you yell by faith,

  231. more fruit in my marriage, more fruit in my finances, more fruit in

  232. my business, in my family, He says, let me grab my scissors.

  233. Are you ready to be cut? The thing that really brought me a

  234. lot of peace because when I was asked that by the Holy Spirit, am

  235. I ready to get cut? My answer was no, Because all my life,

  236. cut has been associated with something that is either bad, hurtful, painful,

  237. or an accident that could end deadly. Hold, don't I don't play

  238. with them scissors since you're young. No no, no, no, no

  239. no no, no, no no no, don't use that knife. But

  240. God said to me, he said, Michael, being cut by me is

  241. a promise of more fruit. He said, So when I start to cut

  242. on your life, I'm promising you I'm planning to use you again. See

  243. what. I don't know if anybody ever played on a basketball team, but

  244. I was one of those on a team that the coach would always ride me

  245. harder than he would ride anybody else. And I was like, Coach,

  246. you won't be telling them that. He said, shut up and run coat.

  247. They missed the shock too, he said, I'm not talking to them.

  248. Coach. Well, I got it. I was a crier when I

  249. got angry, like when I got really do I got any angry, Like

  250. when you get like real, the tears just start falling. They thug tears.

  251. Believe that you better believe that. But you get so overwhelmed it's gotta

  252. come out somewhere. And one day the coach brought me to the side.

  253. He said, Michael, the reason that I ride you so hard, and

  254. I correct you so hard, and I talk to you so hard, it's

  255. because I know that you actually have potential to go where none of these other

  256. people have the potential to go. So if I don't cut you now,

  257. you won't be ready when it's time for the competition. And I just came

  258. to tell somebody that the church has been a done a bad job in this

  259. last season of emphasizing how comfortable serving God would be. I need to say

  260. this to you, like, just come to God and all your fears and

  261. all your tears, and he bottles them and he's gonna coddle them, and

  262. we make you feel like when you come to God then somehow it gets easy.

  263. And I just want to let you know that our desire for comfort has

  264. made us despise his cut. I'm gonna say it one more time. You

  265. think, if God tells you know, you're getting punished instead of if God

  266. tells you no, he's protecting you. You think if God doesn't allow you

  267. to get the position you prayed for, that somehow he hasn't heard your cry.

  268. But He actually is answering the prayer you didn't know how to form with

  269. your lips by not letting you get into a position that you would be locked

  270. into because He knows you are a people pleaser, and if you got that

  271. position, you wouldn't leave there for fifteen years. And three years from now

  272. he's going to open up the actual destiny step that you need. So he

  273. told you know now to lead you to the place of purpose. But if

  274. you desire comfort at the expense of desiring the cut, not from anybody,

  275. just regular I'm talking about from God, you will miss out on what God

  276. has for you. I wrote it down like this because I just came back

  277. from the beach and I wanted to I wanted to give a praise report.

  278. I know these we don't do testimony service anymore in church, but I want

  279. to give you praise repoint. I've been to the beach a lot of times,

  280. and me and my wife did a little withdrawal trip and I just needed

  281. to be refreshed. And I'm encouraging every person to pick time where you actually

  282. get refreshed. I know a pastor doesn't usually tell you that, but Jesus

  283. modeled it, or God modeled it in creation and he literally took a day

  284. of Sabbath to be able to recreate. And so I'm just asking you to

  285. do the same thing. But that ain't my point. While I was on

  286. the beach praise report, I felt more comfortable in swim clothes than I ever

  287. have in my life. Now, some of y'all won't shout with me,

  288. but you wasn't with me when I was two seventy five. I was so

  289. ready to take my shirt off. No, no, no, I'm just

  290. serious. I was like, what we wearing today? Baby? I was

  291. getting my bathing suits ready. I wanted to color coordinate. I want you

  292. wearing Pinsa today. I were Pensa Dad. I was. But what I

  293. realized is my comfort on the beach from the cutting in the gym. Your

  294. comfort comes from a place of cutting. You want comfort in your marriage,

  295. go get that cutting and counseling. You want cutting in you want comfort in

  296. your finances? How many people would love for their finances to be more comfortable.

  297. Come on, okay, y'all, come on, cut the budget.

  298. Everybody wants comfort, nobody wants cutting. But the cut. Watch this gives

  299. you the edge. And this haircut by the end of this service, by

  300. the faith and crazy faith of God, will be sharp. Because what he's

  301. doing to me right now, she's cutting me, the little micro cuts,

  302. over and over and over and over and over again. But what he's doing

  303. right now is shaping me into the image of what he sees for me,

  304. because I can't see it for myself. And most people want to cut themselves.

  305. And I'm not talking about in a dangerous way, because I know that

  306. people have dealt with that lie of the enemy that tells you that you're better

  307. not here. And I come to rebuke that right now, and I say

  308. that you will live and not die. I understand that life. I understand

  309. that depression and that despair, but I know there's hope for you. What

  310. I'm telling you right now is that most people want to get in the mirror

  311. with the shavers of life and try to cut the areas of their life they

  312. can't see. Has anybody ever had a bad haircut before? Now? When

  313. you see a kid, what about haircut? It's kind of expected most of

  314. the time. It's all Look at little Jimmy, god dog Ooh, his

  315. mama wanted to save fifteen dollars and so shit put a bowl around his head.

  316. And y'all remember them chili bowl cuts? Like just and Jimmy walk out

  317. like, bro, what happened to you my mama? Bros, you just

  318. Jimmy. Don't mess with Jimmy with the chili bowl. He'll fight you.

  319. And then you try to put a part in it. The part is the

  320. size of the Red Sea splitting. It's just But what kids, you understand

  321. it? The thing I cannot get is grown men that really really won't humble

  322. themself enough to let somebody else cut their hair. And I know you're trying

  323. to save money, and I appreciate that, but your haircut makes you look

  324. incompetent. I'm gonna tell you why you don't have a woman. No,

  325. okay, ladies, back me up. When you see a dude in his

  326. head, do not look like he care you start judging now. I'm being

  327. very superspicial at this current moment, but I want you to see the point.

  328. A bad haircut, especially one that somebody does to theyself, comes from

  329. somebody who is not humble enough to submit to the vision of someone else.

  330. I have no idea what he's doing to my head. I have no idea

  331. what guard he has on. I have no idea if he's feeling fruity and

  332. wants to cut Spider Man in the back of my head. I have no

  333. idea. But I trust him. I've sat in this chair so many times.

  334. I've set at dining room tables. He learned how to cut hair cutting

  335. me and my brothers and my parents lunge. So when I'm on this platform

  336. getting my hair cut in front of hundreds of thousands of people, I am

  337. calm because I've been here before. I trust him. When it comes to

  338. your spiritual life, have you been with God long enough that you will trust

  339. his cut? He'll trust you when he tells you not that friend. I

  340. know that will be a come up for your social media, but they not

  341. for you. Well, God, we love all the same things, and

  342. Lord, if you just gave me can not them. Well, God,

  343. I feel what you're saying. But I'm still around these other people. So

  344. if you really want me not to be around them, then you will remove

  345. them from my life. He said, no, I won't. I'll let

  346. you have what you want, Go ahead, have it. I'll just be

  347. here when what I try to protect you from actually really cuts you. See,

  348. the God that we serve as a master surgeon. The Bible tells us

  349. that his words can cut through bone and marrow. And so today all I'm

  350. trying to ask this church to do. If you want fresh fruit, you

  351. need a fresh cut. Look at Hebrews twelve six, For the Lord disciplines

  352. and corrects and cuts those whom he loves. God, do you love me?

  353. Yes? I do. Sit still and let me cut you. Have

  354. you ever thought about God's love like that? Because most of us want God's

  355. love to be a big hug. Comfort me, Lord, cuddle me,

  356. Lord, hug me. Jesus, No, come on, and God says,

  357. I love you so much that I'm about to cut you. Stay still,

  358. stop talking, don't move. This is gonna hurt just a little bit.

  359. But I promise you I've been cut worse than this, and I went

  360. through every cut that you would ever have to go through, so that you

  361. could know that with me, you're gonna make it out on the other side,

  362. he said. The Lord disciplines corrects those who he loves, and he

  363. prunes every son whom he receives, or he punishes every son who he receives

  364. and welcomes to his heart. Verse seven, it says you must watch this

  365. submit to correction for the purpose of discipline. God is dealing with you as

  366. one of his sons. For what son is there whom his father does not

  367. discipline. Now, if you are exhipt from correction and without discipline in which

  368. all of God's children share, then you are an illegitimate child and not a

  369. son at all. Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us,

  370. and we submitted and respected them for training us. Shall we not much more

  371. willingly submit to the Father of spirits and live by learning from his discipline.

  372. For our earthly fathers discipline us for only a short time as seemed best to

  373. them. But He disciplines us for our good so that we may share His

  374. holiness for the time being. No discipline brings joy, but seems sad and

  375. painful. Yet to those who have been trained by it afterwards, it yields

  376. the peaceful fruit of righteousness, right standing with God, and a lifestyle and

  377. attitude that sinks seeks God, informity to God's will and purpose. If you're

  378. not submitting to the cut, you will not be able to produce more fruit.

  379. So pastor Mike, very plainly, what is the cut of God?

  380. Very simple? See U t correcting? If you're getting cut by God,

  381. He's correcting you like Aaron is correcting the sweat that is coming. Oh dang,

  382. call in my mouth. Sometimes when God is correcting you, it feels

  383. like, dang, could you? Could you not do it a different way?

  384. Has anybody God ever done something and you'd be like, but this was

  385. the way you had to do it? But but but but here what we

  386. just heard that when God's correcting you, it's because he loves you. I

  387. want to bring back to every person in this room the idea that God's correction

  388. is God's love. So when God tells you no more sleeping with them passor

  389. you said that in church, you're doing it at your house. When God

  390. says, stop spending money on that brand. When God says, join the

  391. church, Well, God, I was hurt in my lab's church. He

  392. said, I'm about to correct some things, but you have to submit to

  393. my corrections. Watch this, and this is the big thing. If God

  394. is not correcting, you be concerned any area of my life where I'll be

  395. like, every area of my life is good and God ain't got nothing else

  396. to do, I'd be like, oh, oh, either I'm not listening

  397. or he stops speaking. And the church needs to be awakened to the fact

  398. that as long as we are in this Christian walk, there will be something

  399. that God is trying to get off of us. Okay, so hear me,

  400. And I know a lot of y'all used to be running around, jumping

  401. around and doing all the other stuff, and you're like, man, this

  402. is different just watching him sit there. I Am not gonna walk around all

  403. week looking crazy because I wasn't still enough to be in the place that I

  404. needed to be to get cut on. And the crazy thing about a correcting

  405. cut. Many time God uses other people to correct us, and you would

  406. be fine if it was God Almighty. The big men ups there are gonna

  407. correct me. You know how to get my attention. And he sent you

  408. a wife mm hmmm, mm hmmm, and he gave you kids. You

  409. okay, buddy, you're good. Right there? Do I need to do?

  410. I need to stop for a second, because you know you're on the

  411. front part. Good, You're good, You're good. Okay, I'm gonna

  412. just take a second. I'm gonna pause for the calls. All right,

  413. Oh hold on you cake, okay, Oh you're good. You said no,

  414. no, no, no, go back, go back to that,

  415. go back. I'm just gonna they're gonna have to wait. Now. We

  416. saying wait on the Lord, and I told him to cut an area,

  417. and as soon as he started, I moved, no, no, no,

  418. no, I'll wait on you. I'll wait on you. I'll wait

  419. on you. I'll wait on you. Alcohol. This is how a lot

  420. of our Christian life looks. That God has you in a position. He's

  421. trying to cut on you, he's trying to do something. And every time

  422. and then you start doing stuff like this, what if you kind of like

  423. like what if let me. No, no, no, no, what

  424. if you kind of like turn it on? No? No. You know

  425. why God doesn't turn on a lot of the blessings. It's because your hand

  426. is still on it. It's because you trying to direct where it's going.

  427. He said, this will hurt you too much if I turn this something right

  428. now, if I turn on the favor, if I turn on the blessing,

  429. if I turn it on, I need you to sit so as I

  430. sit here, I'm letting somebody else cut me. God doesn't give me haircuts

  431. Aaron does. Many times. God does not speak to me about my attitude.

  432. Natalie does. Y'all are missing it. Many times. God doesn't directly

  433. speak to me about my inconsistencies. Bella, Ava, MJ and Jia do.

  434. And he's using people to correct you, and you won't listen because they

  435. ain't lived this life like I have. I'm the bread in one of it.

  436. As health grown man. You can't joo yourll You can't judo your old

  437. dog, new prith. Come on, Think of all of the colloquialisms we

  438. say. But Proverbs twenty seven six sys faithful are the wounds are the cuts

  439. of a friend who corrects out of love and concern. But the kisses of

  440. an enemy are deceitful because they serve his hidden agenda. Some of y'all are

  441. being killed by kisses. And God's saying, you need to desire for me

  442. to cut on you again, because when I cut you, it means I

  443. love you. So the seed in God cutting stands for everybody say correcting.

  444. The U stands for watch this one unveiling. When I come to the barber

  445. shop, it's one of the most vulnerable positions all men know. When somebody

  446. starts washing and touching on your head and shampooing and cutting, you just start

  447. telling business. And ladies, we already know what y'all be doing in there.

  448. If they coloring, don't let you be getting a color and a layering

  449. and all the other stuff that's happening. Y'all just be telling all your business.

  450. God said, why would you tell a person that's cutting your hair all

  451. your business? And you won't tell me everything that's going on. I know

  452. it anyway, but you won't bring it to me. And when God starts

  453. cutting on you, he wants there to be a watch this an unveiling.

  454. The reason that I use this word unveiling is because there was an unveiling that

  455. happened through what Jesus did for all of us. In Matthew twenty seven,

  456. verse fifty, it says, then Jesus shouted again, and he released his

  457. spirit. At that moment, the curtain in the sanctuary of the temple was

  458. torn into. He tore the veil from the top to the bottom. The

  459. earth shook, and the rock split apart. When Jesus Christ went to the

  460. cross died for us rose again. What he did is he tore the veil

  461. between man and God. What are you saying, Pastor Mike. He said

  462. that there has to be no separation between us. So if he did that,

  463. work for the veil or the cover or the separation to be torn.

  464. He said, if you ever put anything up between us again, I'm gonna

  465. cut it. Put success between me and you, I'm gonna cut it.

  466. Put your family between me and you. I'm going to cut anything. I'm

  467. telling you. This is why the Bible tells us. He said, don't

  468. make anything else in idol, don't serve any other gods before me. It

  469. doesn't say any other gods won't be there. He said, there's other things

  470. that you will value. But if they're before me, they come between us.

  471. I'm cutting it, he said. I tore the veil once, and

  472. I'll cut all the other ones. Is there anything in your life that has

  473. become a curtain between you and God? I can't answer it for you.

  474. But if God starts cutting you, he's gonna start doing it first with correcting

  475. you, and the second thing he's gonna do is start unveiling things. Do

  476. not be surprised for the rest of twenty twenty four. When God starts to

  477. pull the curtain back on stuff. You sitting next to people who you don't

  478. know who they really are, and you have two choices. You either move

  479. the curtain or you let him cut it. And some of y'all he's been

  480. walking up with sis as they're saying, please just expose yourself. Please just

  481. tell your wife the truth, Please just tell your tell the company you've been

  482. stealing. Just go to the because when he cuts it, it's gonna expose

  483. whatever is back there. I'm telling you right now, that's why ministries and

  484. pastors and different things are falling at a rate that is like what in the

  485. world. It's because God's been telling you he does it all the time.

  486. He tries to deal with people he loves in private. But if you won't

  487. cut it, if you won't remove the veil, if you won't take this

  488. addiction and this habit and this thing away that is between us, he said,

  489. I'll cut it up until you have nothing but me. So you want

  490. God to begin to cut on you. The sea stands for correcting, the

  491. youth stands for unveiling. Last one, what is the cut of God?

  492. It's testing. When God begins to cut on you, he's testing you.

  493. Every time me and Aaron do this every Sunday morning, it's a test of

  494. our friendship because I'll be preparing my sermons. And the reason he can do

  495. this is because I've done this several times before. I've been excited about a

  496. point and he's got a razor on my chair, like bro that it's gonna

  497. be a good point right there. And every time I do it. The

  498. reason that it was a reflex for him is because he's been tested in this

  499. area and so have I. God says, I'm gonna cut you, but

  500. it's not for you to be terrified. I'm just testing. Watch do you

  501. really trust me? And Proverbs three five six says trust in the Lord with

  502. all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will

  503. in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

  504. The Holy Spirit has been over and over he said, Michael, I'm about

  505. to cut you. I'm about to expose some things. I'm about to I'm

  506. about to I'm about to correct you in a couple areas. I'm about to

  507. do this, And this is all he says to me. Do you trust

  508. me? And I'm coming to this body of believers today and I'm asking you

  509. do you trust God? Do you trust them with your life? Do you

  510. trust them with your family? Do you trust them? Watch this with your

  511. purpose? Do you trust them? Mm hmmm. Sometimes you got to shut

  512. up mm hmmm, mm hmmm, mm hmmmm mm hmmm, mm hmmm,

  513. hm m mmmmmmmm. Y'all mm hmmm mm hmmm, and take of mm have

  514. you way, have your way, whatever you want to do, whatever you

  515. want to do, have your way. I'm not telling him what area to

  516. work on. When he just went from my edge up to my mouth,

  517. to the back of my head, I could say, bro, just do

  518. the mouth, then do the bad, then do the ed. You doing

  519. my eyebrows. You use use best. So I'm not telling you because he

  520. sees what I don't see. And when you don't trust God, what you're

  521. saying is I see it better than you see it. Tassor Mike, why

  522. is this so important? Because I just want you to realize that we are

  523. going to produce more fruit this year. I'm gonna say it one more time.

  524. We are gonna produce some more fruit this year. Okay, But that

  525. means there may be a fresh cut. That's okay. It's fine to make

  526. people wait while you get cut in an area that's sensitive. It's for your

  527. family when you're gonna have kids. He's cutting on me. Well, I

  528. thought you would be a millionaire. I thought i'd be able to retire.

  529. You should have picked a better career. Dad. You waiting on me to

  530. hit the lottery. You need a second job. It's okay. And when

  531. God gives you seasons where he's not working on you, it doesn't mean he's

  532. not finished. Don't focus on the pain of the cut, but focus on

  533. the promise of the cut. At the end of every good haircut, there's

  534. there's alcohol. Now. I don't know if women go through this. I

  535. don't think y'all go through this. Do y'all go through this hot water?

  536. Okay? No, Then the white lady is like alcohol. What my MoU

  537. says, what, no, no, no, But when. But when

  538. you're getting an edge up like this, there's a bunch of many microcuts that

  539. are happening, and there might be some blood. It might cut me to

  540. the point where it causes something that's inside of me to come out of me.

  541. And what happens with the barber is at the end of the haircut,

  542. he takes alcohol and he says, get ready, because every man knows it's

  543. gonna be spicy, and he hits in and if he's a good barber,

  544. he might blow on or might have a fan, or might have something.

  545. And them gangster barbers, they just let it sizzle. They just like see

  546. it. If your haircut is twenty five dollars or less, they gonna let

  547. it sizzle. These days, they just throw it on there and laugh at

  548. you. Yeah, yeah, do the whole thing, bro go for it.

  549. But if God allows the alcohol, the cleansing, the purifying of the

  550. cuts to burn a little bit, know that it's so nothing gets infected.

  551. The reason why some of the relationships have gone bad is because you didn't let

  552. him cleanse them. The reason why that business partner didn't work out is because

  553. you didn't let him cleanse them. So how do I embrace the cut?

  554. One word? This is our takeaway? Surrender this entire service. I have

  555. had to surrender to a seat to receive the cut that I needed, and

  556. most of us have not surrendered. I got too many people. How'd you

  557. meet a surrender? I got too much potential to surrender? Do you know

  558. what I could do with all the things that God's given me? And God's

  559. saying surrender? What's another word for surrender? Pastor? Mike? Sit down?

  560. What's another word for sit down? Pastor Mike? Stay steel? What's

  561. another word for stay steel? Write this one down? Abide? John fifteen

  562. to five goes on and says, yes, I am the true vine,

  563. and you are the branches. Those who remain in me and I am them

  564. will produce much fruit. For apart from me, you can do nothing.

  565. And another translation, it says, those who abide in me, some of

  566. y'all have been moving too much for God to cut where he needs to and

  567. it not kill you. And God saying, would you just stay still.

  568. Would you just plant in a church? Would you just actually continue to go

  569. to the B group? Would you actually submit to counseling? Would you actually

  570. do that? Would you actually just stay still in a place long enough till

  571. I can do this surgery on you. And some of y'all are like,

  572. what is he doing right now? This is what in the barber world they

  573. call enhancements. See when you get a master barbera and they can see what

  574. you don't see, they can fill in the holes in the gaps the areas

  575. y'all be like Dang Brow's and Mike Beer be so nice that ain't me?

  576. That's the grace of God. Hear what I'm saying to you. It presents

  577. me in a way that my own effort could not present. It gives me

  578. the ability to be able to have the appear heparance of what's not really mine.

  579. It kind of sounds like salvation. It kind of sounds like any man

  580. that being Christ, he is a new creation. So when the debt comes

  581. up for all the sin that I made, I get the enhancement of Jesus

  582. Christ being the one that stands in front of me and fills in every gap,

  583. every hole every area that my hair could not grow, every area that

  584. my life could not produce. He does not look at me, but he

  585. looks at Jesus. And so for every patchy place of my life, I

  586. get the enhancement of the Holy Spirit. I'll preach this thing right now.

  587. And some of you are like, that's fake, that's favor. Hey,

  588. and every woman judging me, shut up dying your hair and dying your roots.

  589. Don't do me. Oh, I don't do that. You wear wigs,

  590. okay, whatever, nom just you got to your CLIPI ins and all.

  591. Come on, I know, white ladies, CLIPI ins, I know,

  592. I know. Come on. All of us at some time need favor.

  593. We don't deserve need somebody to cover us when we don't actually have the

  594. ability to do it ourselves. What is it gonna take for us to surrender

  595. courage? Today? I want to pray for everybody to have courage. Now,

  596. listen, everybody that's under the sound of my voice right now. I

  597. know some of y'all are saying, Pastor mic God's gonna cut me. Can

  598. he just do it in the areas that you know what I'm saying that you

  599. know, aren't that serious? Can he just do it in the areas you

  600. know what I'm saying? Like like that, that seemed comfortable. Some of

  601. these areas I've been growing too. Hey, Maxwell, come here real quick.

  602. Put on Instagram earlier this week, I said, does anybody want to

  603. cut their dreads off? What's up? Dog? You goot? How long

  604. you been growing them dreads? Six years? Six years of consistency of growing

  605. something that God may ask are you okay with letting that go? Now?

  606. Now? This is how people know you. This is your style, this

  607. is your swag, this is your watch, this identity when people describe you

  608. know, the tall, handsome dude with the dreads. What if God wants

  609. to cut an area that people describe you by? Now, are you willing

  610. to not be who you've been to become who God's created you to be.

  611. That's good preaching right there, And most of you are so committed to the

  612. identity of the season you've been in that you will not embrace the cut so

  613. you can have a brand new identity. Hey, Aaron, I'm gonna I'm

  614. gonna give I'm gonna give my men this cheer because sometimes you're gonna need courage

  615. and you're gonna need people around you. Did you okay this with your wife?

  616. Okay, okay, because I don't need Mary mad at me? Mary?

  617. Are you good? Put it on him? You got some We need

  618. some scissors, Give me some scis. You got some sheers. Somebody give

  619. me some scissors. You got the shears, you got the thing? They

  620. didn't bring it in the pack. Scott took them. Scott, go get

  621. some scissors. We don't mind waging what what I'm what I'm saying to you

  622. is and sometimes that's how God will do you. He'll put you in a

  623. chair and he be like, just wait on me. What what like?

  624. I gotta just wait on you. In my hands this is dangerous, but

  625. in a master's hands, just just don't do them all at the same time.

  626. What you I don't let mean, I've never done this before. You

  627. could do this? What you what you think he actually said he wants it

  628. this? You can? You cool? Six years, a lot of intentionality,

  629. a lot of building your life around something, a lot of rubber bands,

  630. a lot of hot summers and a lot of warm winters. But this

  631. is what some people would call freedom. Would you be willing to get cut

  632. by God for him to place give me your hand, freedom in your hand.

  633. Hear what I'm saying to you. Somebody said he looks good. God's

  634. not even finished with him yet. Hear what I'm saying. I know this

  635. is a long analogy, and we set here this whole time, and I

  636. got a fresh cut, and he got a fresh cut. Will you?

  637. Will you let God cut areas of your life that you have grown accustomed to?

  638. Will you make this the place that God's done working on you? Standing

  639. all over this building? Keep going. Don't leave my man like that.

  640. Just keep going with you. It can be after church. We'll just yeah,

  641. keep that. We ain't gonna leave you like that, and neither will

  642. God. If there's an area of your life, watch this before everybody rushes

  643. out, Please don't miss this moment. If there is an area of your

  644. life that you know that you're gonna need courage to stay steel for God to

  645. do the cutting. I need you to lift both of your hands right now.

  646. Okay, we're in the right building. I'm gonna pray for courage for

  647. you today and everybody under the sound of my voice. I believe that there

  648. is gonna be a supernatural There's gonna be a supernatural strength. Watch this to

  649. stay still. Everybody talks about the strength to fight, but I'm talking about

  650. the strength to stay still, the strength to make it through. I'm talking

  651. about the strength to let God do what only he can do and be still.

  652. Father, I pray for every person under the sound of my voice that

  653. today, as you begin to identify areas that you want to correct them in,

  654. unveil things in, and even test them in. I thank you that

  655. today, as a church, we will embrace the cutting, because when you

  656. cut, you cut from love. And today, Father God, you desire

  657. for us to produce more fruit. But God, we don't get more fruit

  658. and fresh fruit without a fresh cut. So, Father, today we are

  659. saying we are submitted to your hand, not the hand of our friends and

  660. our family. But God, you are the one that can actually cut us

  661. and it doesn't kill us. You're the one that can cut us and it

  662. cultivates us, it brings us into more fruit. But Father, can we

  663. be honest? We need courage today for every person, Father, who you

  664. are placing on their heart and area that they need to let you begin to

  665. do surgery today, Father God, who will would you give them the courage

  666. that you gave Joshua, be strong and courageous. Would you give them the

  667. courage you gave Abraham? Would you give them the courage you gave Moses?

  668. Would you give them the courage Father you gave Bishop Gary and Pasta Debbi.

  669. Would you give us the courage, Father God, that you gave Daniel in

  670. the Lions? Then would you give us the same courage that Jesus had to

  671. go to the cross spirit that was in him and that raised him from the

  672. dead, you said, and your word is in us. So today we

  673. believe that you have made us courageous enough to embrace the cut. And when

  674. you do it, we won't run from you. And when you do it,

  675. we won't hide. And when we do it, we won't stand and

  676. curse you. We'll say thank you. Thank you for seeing me enough.

  677. Thank you for caring enough. Thank you for calling me son and daughter.

  678. Thank you for loving me enough, Father to cut away the things to prune

  679. me so that in the next season I will produce much more fruit. Today,

  680. thank you that fruit is going to be the proof of our relationship with

  681. you, and our marriage and our families and our businesses, and the way

  682. we love and the way we forgive and the way we get angry, Father,

  683. let there be fruit. Cut what you gotta cut. There's a sweet

  684. presence in this room because I found that any surgery that you've ever been in,

  685. they tell you to stay still. There's some surgeries that are so deep

  686. and so important that they strap you down because your movement not the cut,

  687. but your movement could cause you. And I don't know who this is for,

  688. but there's some planting that needs to go on in your life. Some

  689. of y'all need to put down roots in places long enough for God to do

  690. the work. Some of you coming to church every Sunday. God is saying,

  691. don't miss. For some of you, it's getting in small groups.

  692. For some of you, it's going to counseling. For some of you,

  693. it's getting in a place where you can actually be honest about what you're going

  694. on. But I'm hearing the Holy Spirit say get there and stay there.

  695. I feel this so strong. Get there, and some of y'all need to

  696. move, and the others of you need to stay. You was about to

  697. go somewhere and God said that ain't anything. You need to stay where I

  698. placed you. Because this next season is about the cutting. Stay still,

  699. and no, hold on, ain't that a scripture? Be still and know

  700. that God. I don't know what you're gonna do, but know that I'm

  701. God. I see it from a different perspective. Your life is not over.

  702. I'm just transforming you in this season. Why I'm I supposed to be

  703. done with college. All my friends are doing with I'm not done with you.

  704. I'm cutting on you and God. Today as a church, we said,

  705. I toned mind waiting, I don't mind way, Hey, I tone

  706. mind way, eating on you, Lord, do what you want to do.

  707. I tone my way, I don't mind way, I don't mine on

  708. you. At Transformation Church, real quick, I just want to let everybody

  709. know we don't we don't care that people are getting cut around us. This

  710. is not a big deal for us. We're in the business of transformation.

  711. So when people aren't getting cut around us, that's the weird thing. When

  712. when when our staff, our team, this thing we getting cut on all

  713. the time? Why because we want more fruit. And I just want to

  714. let you know that if you come in here and every week you have the

  715. altar and you're in the right place, because this is the cutting place,

  716. let him do the work. If you're in this room and you've never accepted

  717. Jesus, the one who is the gardener. Today, I want to give

  718. you the opportunity to accept. I feel the presence of God in this place.

  719. I feel that some people right now, the thing that you've been fighting,

  720. God is about to start doing a beautiful work this time next year,

  721. mark my words, the fruit. Because you allowed God to do the cutting.

  722. It's going to feed generations beyond what you didn't even think was there.

  723. If you've never accepted Jesus, I feel the presence of God so strong in

  724. this place. If you never accepted Him in your whole life, today is

  725. your day invite the gardener into your life. I need transformation church. Who

  726. knows what's about to happen. I need you to start praying because right now

  727. eternity is in the balance. And I want to be specific. There's some

  728. of y'all who have known God and accepted Him in your heart, but you

  729. have not let him be Lord. Every time he tries to cut on you,

  730. you run away from him. And today is the day that you are

  731. gonna repent and rededicate your life to him. You hear me, and you're

  732. in this place and you've been saying, God, I need a sign.

  733. Here is your sign. It's watermelon pink today, and I am coming to

  734. tell you that God said, let me do what I want to do in

  737. you on the counter of three, I want you to just lift your hand.

  744. somebody who was addicted to pornography, had all kinds of bad things in

  745. my mind, my heart, and in my actions. I was a bad

  746. trying to produce good fruit. And God said, let me replant you.
