Welcome to Transformation Church podcast, where we represent God to the lost and found

for transformation in Christ. We're so glad you're here and wherever you're listening from,

we believe God will transform your life. Do today's message. Man,

I can't believe that we're here. This feels like a couple of decades of

waiting for this moment where God would release me and this sound through Transformation Church.

I thought that God said that he was going to do something through the

music and the sound, but I didn't know it was going to be like

this. God is faithful, He keeps his promises. He does what he

says because he's the author and the finisher of our faith, the Alpha and

the omekeup, the one who sees the middle and knows how to bring you

through every valley. He's a God that can take you out of a dry

place and can turn that very place into overflowing. This story is a story

that God wrote, and today I'm excited to share it with you because I

am evidence. Can you hear it? Listen, that's the sound of a

dry, empty, barren, deserted land, a land begging, pleading for

yearning for any moisture. Why would God, create such a place. A

place where it's more uncomfortable, more painful to live, A place of great

opposition, a struggle scorching every day, so much resistance, A place that,

if we're honest, often resembles our dehydrated lives, dry, empty,

barren, deserted. Where can we go to have our hope restored? Our

dreams they losed, our visions watered. Why has life left us feeling so

hollow? When will we finally experience the abundance of rain? Are desperate,

desperate for a move of God, desperate for more of Him. Our vessels

are empty, and we are crying out to be filled. Fill us up,

God, Fill us up, God, fill us up until we're full.

Can you hear it? Listen? It's time get ready for the overflow?

I'll live it out. We'll live the glass a bit. It was a

Wednesday night and I had just been offered a job to be the music director

at the church. That night, I would normally have been running sound,

but the drummer was gone, so I was in the drum cage playing.

A prophet named Mark Filke came from Sacramento, California, and that night he

was preaching and went into a prophetic flow, and all I remember him saying

is who's over the music? And I looked up and I came out of

the drum cage. And this is how the church found out that I was

the new minister of music, and that men begin to speak words from Heaven

that we are about to see in our lives. Right now, here's the

music director. Here. I hear the Lord say that you and the drums.

The Lord said, I planted you here. This will be your launching

place. This will be like a launching pad. The Lord said, stay

still and wait for my voice. See if I won't do it. See

if I want grant all the things you've already seen in your mind and in

your spirits. The Lord said, you're gonna play skillfully, and it's gonna

be a war set. The Lord said, as you play, your finger

is gonna be like doing war. H d d d dun dun dun dun

dun dun. Then d d d da dun d teme on, come on,

come on, someone say yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, And I

see I see choir members having to stand off of the stage and up the

stage. You're gonna have to build levels. They're going across. They're coming

over here. The Lord said, he is raising up successors. There won't

be one praising worship. You're gonna be five, six or seven of them.

And when one gets tired, they're gonna be like soldiers. Another one's

gonna step up in the cry. They're gonna be there. I mean,

they're gonna have all the moves. Someone say, he and the praise and

worship is going to begin to deliver death flows. Listen to the demons that

have been over Tulsa for more than two hundred years. Heavy beats, heavy

beats, heavy beats, heavy beats Way said, Father, thank you for

a sound of war faith. You're gonna be so passionate. We were gonna

thank you on some kind of drugs. Man, You're gonna come in,

You're gonna push, You're gonna take this thing to a whole different level.

Anybody believe us scream behold if you pay attention close to you what he said.

He said, under my leadership, there would be a sound that went

forth. And I thought it was gonna happen as I was the music director.

But God saw a plan of me actually pastoring this church. And I

believe now is the time that, under my leadership, that a sound is

about to go forth to touch the whole world. And I believe that it's

gonna be an overflow. So with all of the things that I thought was

gonna happen, all of the moments that I thought we were gonna move forward,

all of the things that God asked me to stop and to set back

and to wait on, my only response was obedience. And when God asked

us to do anything, because he knows what's best, our only response should

be I will, oh, yes, play that Steven one time? Whoa,

whoa, whoa? Y seven say now anybody else watch up? I

help you get a car, but he can't change the posture of your hearts.

Look at your neighbor and say, there is nothing impossible for my God.

Find one more neighbor that you didn't like as much the first time it's

turned to them and say that there is nothing impossible for my Goha. So

transformation in Christ and we're living that out today. That word represent it show

God in a new way, and there are many people that have a picture

of God an idea of God. I grew up in church and there were

certain times in church you weren't allowed to be loud. You couldn't worship too

crazy, or people might start praying for you like they got something wrong with

them. That is not this man. We believe the Bible says where the

Spirit of Lord is, there is freedom, and so you're free in this

room, and we're glad you're here. We'll welcome all our first time guest.

If it's your first time, could you maybe raise your hand. We're

so glad you're here. We cheer for you because we want you to know

you're celebrated here. We don't know where you go throughout your week that people

cheer for you. But when you come here on a Sunday morning, we

are proud of you. You're doing better than you think you are, and

we're so honored that you're here. We got a lot of great stuff coming

story of what God has done really over the last four or five years in

never given, you need to know this is not a forced thing, but

it really is an opportunity for us to trust God. That's what it is

for our family every single month. That's what it can be for you.

Is an opportunity to say, you know what, God, You're first in

my life, and I show that by tithing and giving. I'm gonna ask

everyone to stand up in this room. We're about to go back into worship.

But I want to pray for you that as even as you give today,

that something would happen in your heart. You know, sometimes whether you're

in church every week, are watching online, this moment can kind of come

just become ritual. But this is a really intimate moment. It's a special

moment, and I want to pray that as we give today, that we

would give out of the overflow. I'm really believing that this album is not

just a playlist, but it's a posture of our heart that we see it

everywhere. And so if you would, if you just place your hands like

this, kind of lift your hands just as a sign of surrender. Maybe

you're new to church, you're like, what's about that? Nothing. We're

just saying, Hey, God, I'm open. I'm open to what you

want to say, open to what you want to do. I'm gonna pray

for us. Lord God, we thank you for who you are. And

right now, with our hands lifted, we're saying we're open and ready to

receive whatever it is you have for us. Ready to receive peace for those

who feel overwhelmed, Ready to receive vision for those who feel like their life

is unclear, Ready to receive unity for marriages that feel separated. God,

whatever it is you want to do, and the rest of this service,

we are saying you can do it. We love you, we trust you.

To the beautiful name of Jesus, we pray and everybody said, hey,

listen, I want to invite you to come down front to the altar.

We're about to go back into a time of worship. We're going to

sing this song called Anchored. Anybody ever heard a song called anchored. In

the middle of twenty twenty, there was a world pandemic and our team began

to get together to see something beautiful happen. And we want to continue to

share with you the story behind these songs. So let's get ready to worship

our God and check out the making of the song Anchored. Let's do it.

I remember we were in a series called Anchored. Has your life ever

looked like a storm? Because right now, in many of your lives,

that's what it feels like, and that's what it sounds like. It sounds

and feels like how am I out here? And how I'm gonna do what

God asked me to do? And what is going on in my life?

And I'm out here and it's dark now and I'm out here and there's nobody

helping me. And I'm out here and I don't hear a word from God.

What are you saying to me? Pastor mic Something you need to know

if you're gonna dwell in the deep is the anchor does not excuse the storm.

I was talking about God taking us into the deep and being the one

who put us in waters that we couldn't naturally be able to survive in.

But if Jesus was our anchor, we will be fine. We came into

a writing session in that same house in twenty twenty and I just remember like

putting on like this mask, like this ski mask, and like yelling new

energy, like wow. We had been there almost all day. I think

Anchored was one of the last songs that we tried to write. And we

went outside. I was like, y'all, let's go outside. Let's let's

go outside because we were inside. Was like, let's go outside, let's

get some fresh air, let's get some sun. And we were literally by

a pool, and I just kept seeing Jesus being our anchor in the middle

of every storm, solid and secure. We can depend on you. And

those words started to come out and I believe Osby was on the keyboard and

Caleb was on the guitar, and I was on a keyboard too, I

think. And I put on this ski mask, and y'all, I just

was being crazy because I just I love the creative process and just doing whatever

feels right and then sculpting it later. And literally, in that moment,

we started Jesus and this whole thing just started to unfold and it became a

vibe. I was running around, I was screaming. I almost jumped in

the pool. It was a moment, but it reminded me in the midst

of every storm, no matter if it feels like you're drowning, no matter

if it feels like God has forsaken you, when you stay connected to Him,

he will be your anchor. Today, I am encouraging anybody that is

watching this, you are not gonna go down because you're attached to Jesus.

He is our anchor. Come on, how many believe he's calling us sleepers?

I don't want how many believe he's calling us deeper today? Somebody clapping

your hands just like this, if you found your ankle, come on,

oh jeezus, say Steve calls out Tony, you calling me find a way

my anchor? Do you hold me down like an anchor and the winds up

like men broke this one thing. And I know I put my husband the

savior. So I'm not getting in favor. Everybody saying Jesus Sally, then

I can't be you knows I'm got every bit on my faith in you.

Everybody in the k'm saying about my head says, I'm not try to say,

because I'm calling you, I want to be hearing see find the way

my bank going down, I can down, and the man's life. Look

this initial writing session, and these songs were just voicemails or voice notes on

my phone, and I felt like we needed to do something, but we

couldn't gather because the building was shut down at the time, and we were

trying to figure out what to do, and I said, why don't we

just gather the staff in the ballroom and let's do a recording, And so

we called it the Ballroom Recording. It was our first live recording and transformation

worship, and we got in a circle in the South ballroom and God met

us there. I mean the hunger and the pursuit and the anointing God's approval.

It was like Heaven touched earth. The songs were flowing. We weren't

stopping and starting over. It was just a flow. And I remember being

off to the side and Osby coming up to sing a song we had written

called Evidence, and him get giving a testimony about how him and his beautiful

wife were told that they would never conceive a child, but that she was

pregnant in the place erupted and he began to sing that song, not knowing

that a few years later that same child would be faced with many challenges and

one of them being a track in her neck. And as a church,

we rallied around and stood with them, knowing that we serve a God who

is faithful, that no matter what's happening in Osby singing that song in that

moment with that baby in her mother that they said would never be there,

still would be born a miracle, but still need a miracle. And every

time I heard Osby sing that song of conviction and the tears and the pain,

it would do something on the inside of me because he would sing with

so much faith. I am confident that we are evidence that you are faithful

and you are God. And it made me keep the recording from the ballroom.

The recording on the album is actually the live recording of Osby from that

night. I didn't touch it. They wanted to rerecord it. I said,

there's something specific and special on this. We didn't do an overdub.

We didn't change anything. It's that raw recording because there is such a unique

desperation on it, and we've seen God do miracles over and over in that

little baby, that little Samaria's life. And today, if you're believing God

for a miracle, if you need God to do something in your life today,

I want to tell you that by faith, there is nothing that is

impossible for our God, and one day you will stand with evidence that He

has been faithful and He has been good. Today I want you to believe

right now then, no matter what has happened to you, the fact that

you're still breathing, it means your evidence. Can I get two hundred believers

to lift their hands if you believe that you're evidence today. I don't know

what you may be facing with today. I don't know what you're believing God

for, but the fact that you're in this room, the fact that you're

watching online is evidence. If he can do it for me, he can

do it the same for you. He's no respect or a person. He

sees you right at the point of your need. He knows exactly what you

are going through, what you're dealing with, what you're needing. But we

have to believe that he's the God that can perform miracles, signs and wonders,

and the fact that you're breathing, the fact that you have the activity

of your limbs gives me the indication and the inclination that God is faithful to

perform. He's faithful to keep his word. He is not a man that

he should lie, neither the son of man that he should repent. If

he said it in his word, he will complete it. Do I have

melody to worship him. This song is special, and I think the most

special part to me is when we start the song and it just says,

your life that doesn't feel like God can put it together again, I just

want you to remember the first line of that song. You're the creator.

There is nothing outside of God's repair because He made everything. Anyway, let's
