  1. Welcome to Transformation Church podcast, where we represent God to the lost and found

  2. for transformation in Christ. We're so glad you're here and wherever you're listening from,

  3. we believe God will transform your life. Do today's message Today, We're

  4. starting week seven of a series that we're calling Living in the Overflow, and

  5. I'm taking a very direct posture for the rest of this series because I'm tired

  6. of people living beneath and below what God has provided. Sick of it.

  7. More prayer requests come in for things that God promises. Sometimes I'll just be

  8. like, Hey, he already said that this is ours. Why are you

  9. begging for what you already have access to? That leads me to two conclusions

  10. that either we're ignorant or in the darkness of what we have access to,

  11. or we just don't believe it. And for me, as a pastor that

  12. actually wants people to win, I care nothing about building this church to be

  13. large. There are a lot of large gatherings that have no watch this fruit.

  14. My goal is for you to look at yourself this time next year and

  15. be like, oh my gosh, where did all this fruit come from?

  16. How did all the toxic relationships turn into relationship that pushed me towards purpose.

  17. How did all my negative words turn into words of me speaking life into other

  18. people? How did my pessimism on waking up and I didn't even want to

  19. live last year? How did it turn into me dreaming about ten years from

  20. now? It's like, do you understand what I'm saying? I want there

  21. to be shot at me fruit because the Bible tells us the only way they'll

  22. know your mind is by the fruit you have in your life. And I

  23. want every person, at least in this church and watching online that's a part

  24. of this community. I want you to live in the overflow of what God

  25. has provided for you. But that means we gotta change hour. Everybody say

  26. minds. So today I'm going to teach you about how to change your mind

  27. by having the right perspective. So write this down. If you're going to

  28. live in the overflow, you may need to change your outlook. If you're

  29. gonna live in the overflow, you may need to change your what could you

  30. bring me that? Real quick? And let me Abby, I need your

  31. help for one second. Come help me real quick. Yeah, yeah,

  32. okay, come here real quick now, Abby, I want you to tell

  33. me what do you see? Staying with her, What do you see?

  34. I see the back of the camp, she says, I see the back

  35. of a canvas. And what is on the back of this canvas. There's

  36. a there's a piece of wood in some staples, and a little thing where

  37. you can hang it up. May I submit to you that this is a

  38. masterpiece, but you're just in the wrong position. May I submit to you

  39. that your outlook is based on your position. And as I'm sitting here,

  40. I'm looking at what this really is, and I'm looking at how beautiful God

  41. made what it really is, and I'm looking at how this thing blesses me

  42. all the time. But because of your position, you only see what your

  43. position allows you to see. The only way you get a different outlook on

  44. what is right in front of you is that you have to change positions.

  45. Come this way, hold on, stop because most people, after they make

  46. one move, think they've done enough. Well, God, I did go

  47. to church, I did pray, I did do I did it. And

  48. now you're mad because you don't see the masterpiece because you did work. But

  49. you stop short because everybody is taking a position. And this is where people

  50. get frustrated because I tried it, I did it, and I'm gonna stay

  51. in my position. Is that what Cuach is trying to get you to do.

  52. Let's take a position, But it's not until we make a decision that

  53. I am going to get into position to see what God has for me.

  54. I've be coming to the other side. Stop Now, she's writ in alignment

  55. with what she has the opportunity to see. But if she keeps looking this

  56. way and never turns, she can have access to the masterpiece. But because

  57. she has not taken not her whole body into position, watch this, she

  58. has to change her head to be able to look and see what it is.

  59. If Abby would just turn her head, would you turn your head?

  60. Yeah, turn your head. You now have a glimpse of what was available.

  61. Okay, I'm asking people to not just say I'm close to what God

  62. has for me. I know it's around here somewhere. I'm asking you to

  63. make a commitment to do what the Bible says. It's called repent, which

  64. that word all it means is to time she was over here. But Abby,

  65. I want you to come all the way on the other side. Now,

  66. when Abby looks at this picture, there is an a completely different appreciation,

  67. a completely different admiration. And it's so crazy because I'm looking at the

  68. people over here, and they steal looking at the back. While these people

  69. saw it the whole time. I don't know if you noticed it, but

  70. all the yeahs and the amens and the unhuns was coming from this side because

  71. what they saw, their position changed their praise. Oh my God, See,

  72. some of y'all are not praising God for what's right in front of you

  73. because you're looking at it from the wrong. This is the picture of my

  74. baby. Yeah, she turns three tomorrow. It's my baby. Yeah,

  75. this is the same picture. The picture never changed the position did. If

  76. you're gonna see all the promises of God, may I submit to you.

  77. God may not change your situation. He may not turn it around. Oh

  78. he may not turn it around. You may have to change your What if

  79. God keeps you at the same job. Uh oh, he promised me elevation,

  80. he said, I was, I'm not gonna be in this valley,

  81. this purgatory. Hold on, Wait, what if he doesn't change the job,

  82. but he changes your perspective at the he changes your outlook. It's still

  83. this, but maybe you need a different outlook. Give God praise for that

  84. right now. Thank you so much. Having you didn't know you was gonna

  85. be my stage hand too. I appreciate that if you're gonna live in the

  86. overflow, you may need to change your outlook because there may be some things

  87. that you are forfeiting because of the position you're looking at your situation in.

  88. Are you forfeiting the promise of God because of your position? Well, I

  89. hate school? Is that just your position right now? That the enemy would

  90. allow you to feel so defeated in that one area, because maybe God has

  91. a purpose for you on the other side of that, maybe you're supposed to

  92. start schools. So the very reason that God would give you a burden but

  93. then make you hate it before you even had the opportunity to even answer the

  94. call of God, is because it would keep you in the same position.

  95. Let me be very clear with you'all. Some of y'all have said to yourself,

  96. you hate learning, and for the thing you're praying for God to do,

  97. he said, there's gonna be another five years of learning. Would you

  98. take a different position to get a fresh Everybody say outlook, And I've been

  99. convinced that the overflow. Living in God's overflow has a lot to do with

  100. your outlook. How do you see it? And I found this story in

  101. Numbers, chapter thirteen. If you would go there and let me give you

  102. some context. The children of Israel have been saved and brought out. They're

  103. following Moses. Moses, and the whole squad is like, are we just

  104. gonna stay out here in the desert? And God was like, no,

  105. I have promised you a land flowing with milk and honey. They like where

  106. it at, though, And so then they're sitting in this place where they

  107. have to actually obey God to see the promises. Let me say it one

  108. more time. You have to actually obey God to see his promises come to

  109. pass in your life. And so God, through Moses, tells them to

  110. send ten spies, twelve spies, excuse me into Canaan and to go and

  111. actually survey the land that God is already gonna give to them. Okay,

  112. let me show you in the Bible Numbers, chapter thirteen. I want to

  113. start at verse one, and then we're gonna skip around, it said.

  114. And the Lord spoke to Moses saying, send men to spy out the land

  115. of Canaan. Watch this huge important part God talking to you, which I

  116. am giving to the children of Israel, no doubt. Somebody say it's mine.

  117. I need you to send the man from each tribe and of their fathers,

  118. and every one of these men are leaders. So He's sending leaders from

  119. each tribe to go actually do a scouting report on the land that God is

  120. already giving them. Reach a whole message right here that I can't preach.

  121. But why are you believing for something you've never gotten a report on some of

  122. us, We think that God's just gonna do it. He said, I

  123. need you to go learn some things first, and I need you to bring

  124. me back a report so that you can actually know what you're going up against.

  125. So he sends these people in here, and then I'm going to drop

  126. down the verse twenty seven, it says these men went into the land.

  127. These men brought back grapes where it took two people to hold them. They

  128. had seen things that they had never seen in their home, the wilderness or

  129. ever before. It was a place of overflow. They come back to report

  130. to the people, and the only thing that changed the entire trajectory of millions

  131. of people was the outlook of ten people. Yes, and today I want

  132. to ask you, do you have an outlook of an overcomer? Because if

  133. you do not have the outlook of an overcomer, you will talk yourself out

  134. of what God already gave you, and you will never live in the overflow

  135. the outlook of an overcomer. Somebody say, I will have the outlook of

  136. an overcomer. Say it one more time, I will have the outlook of

  137. an overcomer. This is so important because your outlook changes the destiny of so

  138. many people you've never met yet. Okay, y'all don't believe me, but

  139. y'all about to see it. In this story right now, verse twenty seven,

  140. thirteen twenty seven, it says, then they told him, and we

  141. went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and

  142. honey, and this is the fruit. And they're like, look at this,

  143. y'all, Look at the y'all big these grapes. He is. And

  144. then they said, nevertheless, the people who dwell in the land are strong.

  145. The cities are fortified and very large. Moreover, we saw the descendants

  146. of Anak and they bid bed. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the

  147. South, and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the gladys Knights and

  148. the Emirates, and they dwell the Canaan Knites, all of the ice.

  149. Okay, verse thirty. Then Caleb said, shut up. He stood in

  150. front of the people, and he said, let us go up at once

  151. and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it. I'm talking

  152. about the outlook of an overcomer. I did see the giants, but I

  153. also saw the fruit. I did say, see what they said about me,

  154. but I also heard what God said about me. I did see the

  155. obstacles, but I also see the opportunity. What is the outlook that you

  156. have when you face the opposition in the Promised Land? And for most of

  157. us, we take the attitude of these next dudes where they they hold on,

  158. hold on, wait, time out. We're scared, scared. These

  159. giants over here they m hm. They literally said, we are like grasshoppers

  160. in there in our own eyes hold on wait yeah. And then it says

  161. in the Bible and they think that too, you didn't talk to the giants

  162. because of your own insecurities. You projected onto them what you felt about Jose.

  163. Now do you remember this is the land that God said, I'm giving

  164. it to you. I'm giving you this. I'm giving you this. Yes,

  165. you're gonna have to go against opposition, but I'm giving it to you.

  166. And they were supposed to come back with the report that just watched this.

  167. Oh thank you Jesus. They were supposed to tell everybody what they observed,

  168. not give them their opinion. And too many times when God tells us

  169. to do something what we were supposed to observe and take information down on to

  170. know how that we go back to God and say, how do we attack

  171. this? We then take and assume that we cannot do this, and we

  172. put our opinion on it, and don't just keep it with ourselves. We

  173. give it to other people. Okay, okay, all right. Six ways

  174. to maintain the outlook an overcomer. I'm gonna just give you six ways.

  175. The reason I gotta do this is because this is what I've found has held

  176. me as an anchor through every season of my life. Is my outlook.

  177. I have an outlook of faith that no matter what is in front of me.

  178. Currently in this situation, I can overcome this. Somebody say, I

  179. can overcome this. Think of the biggest thing that has you shaken right now

  180. on the inside. You're not showing it on the outside, but there are

  181. some things that make you quiver on the inside. I want you to see

  182. that situation as just another opportunity for God to prove himself as a mighty king.

  183. Somebody say, I can overcome this. I know that this is taken

  184. a lot for you to say, because you've never faced anything this big before,

  185. and you've never seen this much, this much hurt or pain or opposition.

  186. But if you keep the eye look of an overcomer, you will see

  187. the giants in your life fall over and over and over again, because the

  188. Bible says, if God be for you, who who can be against you?

  189. And some of us have stopped showing up to even contend for the promise

  190. that God has given us because we do not want to look like we don't

  191. believe God, so we don't even put our faith out there so it doesn't

  192. have to get disappointed. Y'all didn't hear what I just said. Some of

  193. y'all come to church. This the most faith you use to get to church

  194. on time? And this is what I'm telling you right now that ain't using

  195. faith. What God wants you to do is believe Him for the things that

  196. are beyond what you can do with your own ability. God, all right,

  197. I just got to start telling you, all right, six ways to

  198. maintain the outlook of an overcomer. Number one, change your outlook. Your

  199. perspective may hold the key to your promise. Change your outlook. This is

  200. what I'm asking you to do right now. If you are given an outlook

  201. from your parents, or your community, or your culture that goes against the

  202. word of God, change it. Yeah, some of us are more committed

  203. to the culture we grew up in than the Christ and the character that He

  204. wants us to live in. I ran into one of my family members.

  205. They will they will remain nameless in this moment. But but but but they

  206. had they had this idea that they could use people's stuff and and use it.

  207. Use it, like buy something, use it, use it, and

  208. return it. I'm in your business now, I'm just gonna use I'm gonna

  209. use my family, but apply it where it's necessary. And and hear me,

  210. hear me, hear me. I'm not talking about seeing if it works

  211. and then like taking I'm talking about wearing it. I'm talking sweatstreaks, I'm

  212. talking. I'm talking, I'm talking using the product and filling it back up

  213. with water. And I said, why why you do that? It's like,

  214. well, I mean, you know, I gotta, I gotta,

  215. I gotta take care of all my coens. And they started talking about they

  216. were trying to convince me it was good stewardship. Now, y'all, I'm

  217. not coming at anybody. I just I'm just they were trying to convince me

  218. that them stealing what's good stewardship. Y'all, y'all should see how tight it

  219. is right now because there are people trying to amen. But then they thinking

  220. of an actual situation where they do the same thing. So just look at

  221. me, look straight, looks straight, looks straight. And then proceeded in

  222. the next breath to ask me to borrow some money. Now, I didn't

  223. even go into the full explanation because what I was about to have to go

  224. into was dismantling a cultural principle that went against the word of God. And

  225. they weren't ready for that conversation. They thought that they were doing the right

  226. thing because they were committed, and I said, why do you do this?

  227. It's like, this is how my mama did it. This how I

  228. fink y'all don't do it. They looked at me as if I was strange

  229. for paying for something and if I used it, I didn't take it back.

  230. And I said, God, what is He said, there are many

  231. people that are living today that are more committed to the way, the culture,

  232. the surrounding of how they grew up. Then they are embracing a character

  233. that reflects Christ. So today I just want you to take inventory. Ba's

  234. why why are you being so strong? Because I want you to have fruit

  235. in your life. If you have an outlook on something that goes against the

  236. word of God, change it. Just just be open to not being mad

  237. at all white people. Uh oh, they thought I was gonna say something.

  238. I know, I know. I know they didn't think I would talk

  239. about it. I know you was raised in the detail. I know there

  240. was discrimination, I know. But what I'm saying to you today is that

  241. blaming the man for your laziness or they don't want me to. You don't

  242. want to there's up day, don't you don't want to get up? And

  243. it can go the other way around. Come on, there's some people that

  244. love this word and you're watching online right now because you can't be seen in

  245. here. It would be bad for your real estate firm because he has the

  246. ethnic care. And what I'm saying to you, y'all, if y'all either

  247. we're gonna be real or were not going, we're gonna tell. But if

  248. if the vehicle God uses to bless your life look like this, could you

  249. potentially take a different stance on change it? If there's an outlook that you

  250. are embracing right now that is keeping you in bondage. See Promised Land is

  251. right over there. They can literally see it. They stay out of it

  252. because of their outlook. Has anybody ever felt like the change, the transformation,

  253. the release? It's like right there, I can almost feel it,

  254. But there's never a fool like how do I get off in this thing?

  255. It might be out look. Are you're in a season of isolation or a

  256. season of preparation? It's the same season, it's just a different al.

  257. Are you in a season of loneliness? Or are you in a season of

  258. watch this? Oh? I got so many words right here? You remember

  259. you remember when God wanted to make something special. He called it holy.

  260. The word holy just means separated. Your sound just so lonely. No,

  261. I'm trying to make something holy in you. I'm trying to separate you from

  262. it. Well, my friends, don't call no more. You prayed for

  263. this. You don't want that, you don't need that temptation right now I'm

  264. trying. I'm trying to make you into who you prayed to be. But

  265. because of your outlook, your perspective may hold the keys to your promise.

  266. And this is this is one of the things that I've made a decision that,

  267. like, like, my outlook is filtered through God's word, and so

  268. when my outlook is filtered through God's word, I do some things that are

  269. a little different. And it's cool. I've just made a decision that I'm

  270. not better than you, but I am different than you who you think he

  271. is all this da da no no, no, no no no. You

  272. don't know the decisions I made when nobody was there. You don't know that

  273. I've been believing in crazy faith before I was a pastor, before there was

  274. a church, before there was anybody given I would be doing what I'm doing

  275. on another level. I got people in a room that's proved. I've written

  276. down stuff that have come to pass since I was in sixth grade. My

  277. what you're experiencing is the overflow. So when people come in this part of

  278. the journey, they think I'm some character that's trunk. Look at that pastor

  279. with that leather jacket and this day and then the little sparkles on his shoes

  280. and you did it, baby, I was doing this when I was buying

  281. it from Salvation Army. These were these were Jerry uh uh No, never

  282. mind, Dan, this is me. It's me and the reason that God

  283. continues to bless me because I will not put on a different version for anybody

  284. else. Hear me. I'm trying to give you a secret today. You

  285. need to change your outlook that it's okay if it lines up with God's word

  286. to be different. And when you walk in that that means sometimes when your

  287. family's doing something, you can't do it. Oh gosh, that means if

  288. y'all always talk like this when we get some of y'all only cuts, when

  289. you go back around them, your language has completely changed. But what the

  290. la, baby? You know who we isa? I did you do all

  291. of this stuff. You don't talk like that no other time. But as

  292. soon as you get in the environment that makes you feel familiar, some of

  293. y'all can't go home because if you go home and post back at home,

  294. there's six DM coming to you, and they know that you'll be looking at

  295. a ceiling somewhere in about fourteen hours. Because because when you get back in

  296. that environment, y'all better hear what I'm saying. It's time for somebody to

  297. change your outlook, because if you don't, you will be stuck in a

  298. place that keeps you in prison. When the promise is right there. Okay,

  299. I'm sorry, I done got to I don't Okay, I'm not better

  300. than you, but I'm different than you. So when everybody's complaining, I'm

  301. gonna speak life. When everybody's saying I can't, I'm gonna say, but

  302. God will make a way that I can. I'm not better than you,

  303. but I am different than you. When everybody gotta be broken, busting and

  304. discuss it to serve God, I bet you I won't. I bet you,

  305. I'll I bet you I'm gonna be a lender and not a borrower.

  306. I bet you that I'm gonna help people in the time of need. I'm

  307. not better, but I am different. They hate on me. I'll bless

  308. you. I I gotta filter it through the word of God. So if

  309. you have an outlook doesn't line up with the word of God, everybody say

  310. change it. My outlook on losing weight and being healthy was that I could

  311. not do it. So the reason it didn't happen until three and a half

  312. years ago is not because I wasn't physically able. It was because I was

  313. mentally blocked. Oh my god, many of the things that you are trying

  314. to do is does not have anything to do with your physical ability. It

  315. has to do with your mental disability. And when I say that, I'm

  316. not talking about something wrong with your learning. I'm talking about you have disabled

  317. yourself to think and see yourself differently than you are right now. You can't

  318. see yourself without sitting up in the bed at night, eating the wingstop and

  319. the bluebell. I'm using my own testimony, so don't feel offended. This

  320. is this is me. Cookies and cream, root beer, flow, Wow,

  321. spicy corn. Palmer's Now with the ranch. Yes, okay, there's

  322. a miracle in that ranch. I don't know what they do. I'll go,

  323. I'll drive back for the ranch they didn't get you. No, I'm

  324. not using none of this other ranch this week ranch I got at the house.

  325. I need two ranch to s flee. I need to overflow. Let

  326. me say what but y'all see what But because your outlook has never changed,

  327. that that's not even a possibility for you. Yeah, you stay right there.

  328. So if you want to change your outlook and have an outlook of an

  329. overcomer, the first thing that you do is somebody say change your outlook.

  330. Second thing, check your informants. Because these men came back with the destiny

  331. of millions of peoples in their outlook. So two men are over here like,

  332. Yo, we're about to go back and take Yo. That house over

  333. there, that's going to be my house, them grades all day, I'm

  334. about to And ten other dudes came back and said, guys, listen,

  335. we've calculated the actual chances of us being successful in this endeavor, and looks

  336. like we're staying here and listen. The reason I say check your informants is

  337. because there are people speaking to you right now that watch this are either being

  338. effective to help you go towards purpose, or they're infecting you to draw you

  339. away from purpose. Oh gosh, check your informants, because informants without faith

  340. infect your future. They all saw the same thing, but two had faith

  341. when they saw it and the other ones did not. And when they came

  342. to the people, it literally was a transfer. Watched this of spirits.

  343. Have you ever been around somebody and they was in a bad mood and they

  344. gave that thing to you? Y'all know what I'm talking about. Like somebody

  345. who just came in and and you're like, ohh and it was like,

  346. how you doing? I guess I'm here, And then you're like, I

  347. guess I'm here too, And then you know what I'm saying. And five

  348. minutes with them, somebody else comes in. Hayesi like, hey, hey,

  349. Trance, you aren't even feeling that, But because who you allow yourself

  350. to listen to, it changes your outlook in the same way. Have you

  351. ever run into somebody with a lot of joy and you was having a bad

  352. day and there I was like, oh my god, something and there's going

  353. to see you. But I and that joy who is whoever is informing you

  354. about your situation, make sure they have faith A part of the equation.

  355. This is why you can't listen to your girlfriend or your boyfriend who is not

  356. actually listening to God. Because God will tell you something that he's already given

  357. you, and he sends somebody else to bring you a report back, and

  358. depending if they have faith in their own life, they will project on you

  359. what they think God won't do for them, and He's already said He'll do

  360. it for you, And if you believe them, you will they stuck.

  361. I can't tell you how many people told me that this would never work.

  362. People told me there's no way white people and black people Tulsa, Oklahoma gonna

  363. come together at the same trip. And you're gonna still you know, you're

  364. gonna still do all of that, like you're gonna worship like that, like

  365. you're you're gonna you know, there's there's there's there's no way you could buy

  366. that building, there's no I appreciate your illegitimate concern, but I'm gonna go

  367. talk to some people with faith. Tammy, can can can God do something

  368. through our little church on the north side? Bishop? Can God do something?

  369. Scott? You think Passideba, you think Mom and Dad, y'all think

  370. that God could do that. We came over here and walk this building with

  371. without the money. Look at this way and that God's gonna give us.

  372. Bishop take a picture of me, and Bishop took the first picture of me

  373. in this building? Was us breaking in? I think the statue of limitations

  374. is we own it now? Us breaking in? I mean not breaking not

  375. breaking in because some of y'all, I mean the door was open. We

  376. didn't have no appointment or nothing, but we just walked in. They did

  377. cause the garry, but we I mean reason, we just walked in.

  378. Do you know what we were doing though? Right we were getting our scouting

  379. report. Listen. I had to know what it felt like to walk into

  380. a building like this. I had to see the people. I had to

  381. be able to stand there and imagine you worshiping like you worshiping right now.

  382. I had to hear it. I had to go into the Promised Land before

  383. I possessed it, and I had an outlook of an overcomer. Yeah we're

  384. gonna have to pay for it. Yeah we're gonna have to talk to the

  385. city. Yeah we're gonna have to sound proof. If I would have stopped

  386. at every obstacle, we didn't have a stage the first week we came here.

  387. Did y'all hear what I'm saying? Oh? Well, I guess God

  388. left us. We don't have a stage. No, I would have preached

  389. from the floor because opposition for an overcomer is just another opportunity. Oooh,

  390. that's nasty. Opposition for an overcomer. It's just another So I gotta change

  391. my outlook. I gotta check my informants and then watch this. You gotta

  392. challenge your insecurities. Okay, let me tell you, Joshu, Wayne,

  393. Kayla. They're sitting here literally looking at everybody. Tell the people we can't

  394. do this, and they saw the same thing, so they probably was like,

  395. hold on, can we do this? Is this okay for us to

  396. do? Okay, God, I believe we can do this. But should

  397. I say anything? I don't, you know, I don't want to ruffle

  398. no feathers. I don't want you know me. I'm I'm you know,

  399. I'm an introvert. I'm gonna just play the background right now. I'm gonna

  400. just let them, you know, do their thing. And I mean me

  401. and God know what it is. But he puts you in a leadership position.

  402. He puts you in influence over somebody, when God puts you, when

  403. God trust you with leadership over anybody, influence over anybody. He's never asking

  404. you to play the background. He's always asking you to speak up and bring

  405. His will into the equation. And so four, because I don't think y'all

  406. understand what Josh mchaeleb are about to have to do. They're about to have

  407. to check everybody in the nation. Y'all missed it. This is not a

  408. small group. This is not their church congregation. They're about to have to

  409. go against watch this culture. So before you stand up and go against culture

  410. with what God said, you got to check your own insecurities. If you

  411. want to keep the right outlook, you have to tell yourself this ain't about

  412. me. I'm here on behalf of God. This is not about my Instagram

  413. followers and my aesthetic. Well, God, quiet, because some of y'all

  414. are concerned about somebody you knew in eighth grade how they view you. You

  415. ain't seen them since eighth grade, and they don't even look how fine you

  416. thought they'd looked back there. Stacey James, she was like the finest saying

  417. in the world. And if grade she don't look like that no more.

  418. But God has asked you to be a leader in a space, and you,

  419. because you haven't checked your own insecurities, will not step up. And

  420. if you don't check your own insecurities like Joshu Wayne Caleb had to do,

  421. then you won't do the next one. Because if you're going to keep the

  422. outlook of an overcomer, watch this, you are going to have to at

  423. some point confront the culture. Yeah, every Christian that at some point is

  424. not going to confront the culture, I actually question do you really believe God?

  425. Because there are things that are regular in culture that are completely against what

  426. God believes. Now, I didn't say be a butthole. I didn't say

  427. ya yah because some Christians I went to the game that same game I went

  428. to, there was a dude outside You're going to Hell the gates a fire.

  429. You think the basketball game is gonna save you? And I literally my

  430. wife was like, she was like, Mike, why are you doing that?

  431. And I was like this because I didn't want nobody to see me next

  432. to him, because I like, this ain't the way to do it,

  433. even if you want to give me a million dollars, like don't yell at

  434. me. Don't tell me I'm going to like that's not But he was convinced

  435. he was confronting the culture. I'm saying with love, with their future in

  436. mind with with with You may not even understand why this matters to you right

  437. now, but I gotta step up and say something. I gotta do this

  438. because God is compelling me to step across the line and actually face my own

  439. insecurities and say this to you. Shut up. This is what Caleb has

  440. to do. We should go right now, John, get your stuff,

  441. Susie, come on, pack the kids. We are well able, Yeah,

  442. to do what they said we can't do. Somebody say I am well

  443. able, Say it with faith? Say it with faith. He stood up

  444. confronted culture because he was compelled by God. When's the last time you stood

  445. up? I'm not talking about on a social media platform, that's a weak.

  446. I'm talking about Hey, uh the boss, real quick. There seems

  447. to be like a real toxic atmosphere in our uh you know what I'm saying?

  448. Like uh this? Yeah, do you think we could have a common

  449. versation about how to you know, actually work with people you disagree with and

  450. act in love in a work environment. Never thought about that, never never

  451. thought that was pop. I don't have the tools to even do that,

  452. so it wasn't an option. But when a Caleb steps up, when somebody

  453. with God on the inside of them steps up, maybe something can change that

  454. would never change if you actually get in position. He confronts culture and guess

  455. what they do to him. That is a not good idea. We're gonna

  456. go with the guys idea. What happens when you do what God said?

  457. But they don't listen. See, this is where most people give up,

  458. and that's where your outlook gets them. But Josh Kayler is like, all

  459. right, cool, what do I have to hang my hat on? I

  460. did what God said, I kept an outlook of an overcomer, and I'm

  461. gonna do this last thing. I'm gonna commit that even though they're not doing

  462. this. I'm gonna commit to a different spirit. See, when you confront

  463. the culture, you use your voice to cast God's vision. But when you

  464. commit to a different spirit, you cultivate daily. What matters in eternity?

  465. What's different about your spirit? What's different about how you face situations? What's

  466. different? Do you pray about it? Do you speak life over it.

  467. Do you stand in the face of adversity and say, I know my God

  468. is able? What do we sing in praise and worship? He's able?

  469. What is different about you? And what I found out is having a different

  470. spirit is the thing that changed the trajectory of Caleb and Joshua's whole life.

  471. You want to see it because when you commit to a different spirit, you

  472. see prayer as a connection to God. You see worship as a weapon,

  473. you see community as protection. Some of us need to make a decision that

  474. we are committing even if nobody else does it. I'm gonna keep the outlook

  475. of an overcomer and I'm gonna be committed to a different spirit. In numbers

  476. fourteen twenty three, it says, okay, let me just give you context.

  477. God was sick of these people. When I say sick of them.

  478. After they decided to take the outlook of the ten spies who were pessimistic and

  479. did not have faith and they wanted God said, fine, matter of fact,

  480. they want to stay in the valley, and I'll kill them all right

  481. now, y'all read the Bible. He was like, I'm gonna smite them,

  482. and they and Listen, listen, who comes to the defense Moses.

  483. Now, how gangster is it to have a relationship with God that you can

  484. convince him not to kill the people? He may? I mean, y'all

  485. gotta go read it. It's the funniest sort like all right, God,

  486. all right, cool, all right, they are roguish and they did not

  487. listen. But do you want to be known as the God who just you

  488. know that? Ain't how the pr you? You don't want that smoke.

  489. This is the Michael Living translation version of this. Okay. He was like,

  490. you don't want to be known for that. Okay, forgive them because

  491. you are God of love. Remember love, God is love. He's reminded.

  492. No, literally, you got to read it. He's convincing, Hey,

  493. just forgive him and then beat God. But just let them suffer in

  494. the consequences of them not believing. And this is God's response verse twenty three.

  495. They certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers,

  496. nor shall any of those who rejected me see it. But my servant

  497. Caleb, because he had a different spirit in him and has followed me fully,

  498. I'll bring him into the land where he went and his descendants shall inherit

  499. it. Caleb didn't. Caleb didn't fight differently, He just looked differently.

  500. There was no big war or fight that he had to do, he said,

  501. because he had a different spirit and his outlook was one of an overcomer.

  502. I'll take him and Joshua, two out of two million will see what

  503. I promised them. I don't know, see, people, this is where

  504. people are like, why would God do that? If he was a loving

  505. god, why wouldn't he just let he said, he tried, He tried

  506. over and over. I mean, this is the same group of people where

  507. Moses will go up to pray and they was down having a kid back and

  508. building golden calves and worshiping other God like this. They wild and God said,

  509. all right, I'm gonna bring him to the promise land Tenan's right there.

  510. Just get the right outlook. And they couldn't do it. And because

  511. they didn't have the right outlook. Why are you saying this passing Mike,

  512. Because maybe your situation is not changing yet, but maybe your outlook could change

  513. today. I don't want your outlook to keep you out of the promise.

  514. I don't want how you're looking at this situation to keep you from what God

  515. has watched, this already prepared for you. And that's why when I look

  516. at this scripture, I come to one conclusion. God honors the outlook of

  517. faith. He remembered Caleb not because he prayed a great prayer, not because

  518. he did some amazing feat. It's because when he looked at the opposition,

  519. he had an outlook of faith. When you look at your marriage right now,

  520. do you have an outlook of faith? I know the passion is not

  521. there, but could you see it being there? Could you see y'all actually

  522. being able to make it through a vacation without arguing. I know your kids

  523. are far from God right now and don't care nothing. They think you the

  524. crazy praying mama. But do you have an outlook that maybe one day that

  525. all of these sees that I've sown into other people's children and praying for them,

  526. that somebody one day will come around and God will do the same thing.

  527. Do you at least have the out you can't make it happen. I'm

  528. not saying for you to white knuckle your way through a situation, but I

  529. know you're in that apartment with all them kids, and they on top of

  530. each other's sharing pits. But could you have an outlook like that, maybe

  531. one day that God's not just gonna provide a house for you, but He's

  532. gonna allow you to provide a house for else. Could you I'm just I'm

  533. not saying that you gotta make it happen. I know you can't barely read

  534. the Bible right now, but you feel the sense of God calling you into

  535. ministry. Could you get the outlook that maybe God will illuminate the scriptures to

  536. me and one day I'll have revelation coming out of my mouth. I know

  537. you can barely sing, but God said that you would write songs that would

  538. go all over the nations. Could it be today? Church? If you

  539. want to live in the overflow, I need you to change your outlook.

  540. Can I tell you a real story. God called me to pastor and I

  541. didn't want to. Can I be honest with you? This is not my

  542. profession of choice. Let me be very clear. I did not get a

  543. word on a mountain that was like yes, this was out of obedience.

  544. And the reason that it was so hard it's because I was already good at

  545. something else. H I had a career path made. I was gonna be

  546. a music producer and I was gonna make music for the stars. And I

  547. was going to sit back in my house in Miami. I don't know.

  548. It didn't happen, so just hold on. I was. I was gonna

  549. sit back in my house in Miami, and South Beach is good, completely

  550. South Beach. And I was gonna write checks to people who did ministry.

  551. I was gonna make sure my parents' conference and anybody who did a conference.

  552. Yeah, other people for money. This booty shaking song made me a lot

  553. of money here. Gonna save something, y'all. Can I be honest?

  554. And so when God called me in a minute street, he said give up

  555. music. I said, you not asking for this? He said, give

  556. it up. I said, hold on, wait, twenty something years of

  557. my life has been spent perfecting this skill. This is not a hobby for

  558. me. This is just my purpose. He said, no, being with

  559. me is your purpose. That's just a tool. And he made me put

  560. music on the altar and he made me pick up the knife and he said,

  561. if I tell you, I want you to kill it. And I

  562. said God. And then one day something switch. About a year into the

  563. ministry, I got a different outlook. Like about a year into it,

  564. I was like, well, if God had to use music to get me

  565. into purpose, it worked. Now. Watch because the way that I got

  566. to Greenwood is I produced music for their conference. And after I produce music

  567. for their conference, they asked me to stay around and run sound and then

  568. I started becoming the music director. Music was my My parents started a church

  569. called Spirit in Truth, and the Holy Spirit was like, you could at

  570. least help him with the music. And it was just step after step after

  571. step after step where God used what was my passion to put me in possessions

  572. so that he could actually do what he really wanted to do in my life.

  573. And so because my hourlok changed, I got a different spirit about it.

  574. Well, music was that season. If God wants to do something else,

  575. I'll work on it for another twenty years. I will become the best

  576. pastor. I love people, I'll figure out how to preach. I'm gonna

  577. learn how to pray. I just like, I got a different spirit about

  578. it. Instead of being like God took this away from me, it was

  579. like, God use this to get me where he needed to be. And

  580. do you know what God did? He honored my outlook of faith. Can

  581. you bring me that real quick? This past week, I didn't know this

  582. was going to happen, but Transformation Church released Overflow the album, and this

  583. is what y'all did. Remember I told you we were going to come together

  584. in unity and we were going to represent God in systems, in worlds that

  585. they don't care about what Christians do. But once we come together in unity

  586. and we make a concerted effort, then they have to notice. Well,

  587. this is an article that was written by Billboard. Y'all, don't hear what

  588. I just said. This is an article written by a not Christian company.

  589. It says Transformation Worships overflowed DIP views at number one on Christian and Gospel album

  590. charts. Let me read the article. It says Christian and gospel worship music

  591. collective Transformation Worship arrives at number one on Billboard's Top Christian Album and Top Gospel

  592. Album charts with Overflow. The set, which was recorded live, is the

  593. acts entry on both lists first time. It says the Tulsa, Oklahoma based

  594. Transformation Worship launched at the city same name church led by Pastor Michael Todd.

  595. The album, which while seven songs long one runs fifty four minutes, includes

  596. hit makers from both the Christian and gospel music genres, including Todd Delaney,

  597. Torn Wells, Fred Hammond, Overflow Live Maybe the Album of the Year.

  598. Can't nobody tell me what God can do? Now? Listen. I believe

  599. this is God honoring my outlook because I didn't get bitter and mad that he

  600. didn't do it the way I wanted him to do it. Fifteen years later,

  601. he allowed the first thing that we put out to the world to be

  602. recognized on the highest pot. It literally, y'all, they told us it

  603. was number eight in Emerging Artists and number thirteen albums sold in any genre.

  604. Y'all don't know. I'm not talking Christen and gospel, y'all. How some

  605. Mike, why are you saying this is because this is what will happen when

  606. you look at a hard situation and you say, no, I'm gonna have

  607. the look of an overcomer. God didn't put this here to take me out.

  608. He put this here for me to go over and if He is with

  609. me and for me, then I can take up my space. Another way

  610. you can say it is I got Domini and I was supposed to tell y'all

  611. earlier. But listen. Don't tell nobody, but listen, listen. Don't

  612. even scream yet, because they're not supposed to know this. Right here,

  613. I done gone against all the rules of all the people in all the high

  614. places, and today for transformation, I have gotten them just on our situation.

  615. At the represent store, you can go right now and pre order for

  616. five p ninety nine the entire Dominion album. Okay, now, listen,

  617. listen, shh. Because they didn't want me to do this, but they

  618. didn't take away my computer. All you have is all you need. I've

  619. uploaded just for anybody who purchases the album in the next day or so,

  620. because they probably gonna make me take it down. But I went to the

  621. studio last week and I did an afrobeat version of Overflow. Now watch if

  622. you go and buy it before it goes down. I'm sending you an email

  623. today of that track. I don't even know if it's coming out. It's

  624. so fire. Q. You not supposed to tell people you heard it.

  625. It's so fire, But it's only for the people who believed in the vision

  626. when so many others did. Today I'm asking you Church I want you to

  627. get an outlook of faith so that you can see the promises of God.

  628. This is one thing, y'all. This is one thing. This is one

  629. thing, but I'm letting you know it's real today because if not, generations

  630. of people will suffer because you didn't believe God. Think about all the other

  631. people whose kids who were not born would never experience the Promised Land because they

  632. didn't have the faith to believe, would just stand everywhere else. The last

  633. thing I want to tell you, as we've gone through all these points,

  634. y'all, just hear me five minutes and we're out of here. If you're

  635. going to maintain an outlook of an overcomer, you have to change your outlook.

  636. You have to check your informants, you have to challenge your insecurities.

  637. You're going to have to confront culture. You're going to have to commit to

  638. a different spirit lasting collect your evidence. I had them print that big because

  639. that's going on my wall in the gym, because there'll be another giant that

  640. I face that I will try to forget that I have history with God and

  641. many times, you just got to remind yourself that I've been through valleys before

  642. and I've been through pain before, and I've been through her. But I

  643. got to collect your evidence. I got to collect my evidence. There are

  644. things that God has done that you forget about because you won't put it in

  645. front of you. I keep that crazy face paper with me all the time.

  646. Why pass some mike, Because anytime that I come into a moment where

  647. I don't believe, I got evidence that God has already done this. God

  648. always leaves proof of his promises. Has anybody in this place ever seen God

  649. heal them or somebody around them hands? Okay, put them down? Has

  650. anybody seen their marriage changed and transformed because of what God has done in their

  651. life? Okay? So for everybody, look at me, look at me.

  652. For everybody watch this that doesn't have evidence of their own. This is

  653. why you come to church. It's because you can borrow somebody else's evidence.

  654. Oh you missed it. So we're reading their story, the story of Joshua

  655. and Caleb. But my question is will they be able to read the story

  656. of charleson Abbey. Will they be able to read the story of Kimba and

  657. Cordell and Keisha? Will they be able to read the story of Brentam and

  658. zoil. Will they ever be able to read the story of Fawn and John?

  659. Will they be able to read the story of your faith? Because I'm

  660. the only Bible some people are going to ever get to see today. If

  661. you need evidence of God's proof of his promises, just look around. That's

  662. why we say I am confident that we are. Yes, you are faithful

  663. and you are God. Yes, I am come, we are. It's

  664. all around. It's all around that you are faceful and you are Today I

  665. want to pray for every person under the sound of my voice that you would,

  666. from this day on operate with a different spirit. I don't know what

  667. that means for you, but when everybody else is going down this crazy path,

  668. you say no, no, no, I'm putting it through the filter

  669. of my God, and I'm about to operate with a different spirit. If

  670. that, if that's something you desire, would you just lift your hands online

  671. in the room. I'm gonna pray for you. Yeah, yeah, this

  672. is this is you just identifying I want a different spirit like I Yeah.

  673. So God, here we are, no pumping circumstance, no confetti, no

  674. lights, no pyro, just your children asking would you do a work on

  675. the inside of our hearts and in our minds that give us the ability to,

  676. in the face of everything looking like it's not gonna work out, that

  677. we would have a different spirit. We would have the outlook of an overcomer.

  678. Father. There are people under the sound of my voice that are facing

  679. things, Father God, that seem overwhelming, insurmountable, Father God, and

  680. actually downright unfair. But in this place today, Father, I thank you

  681. that their outlook would be shifted to one of faith, that they would have

  682. the faith to believe that you can change the situation, and even if you

  683. don't change it, you can change them in the situation today, I thank

  684. you that we would be a people like Joshua and Caleb that would look at

  685. giants and imagine them falling. That we would be a people, Father God,

  686. that would not just do it for us, but we would do it

  687. for the generations to come. You told Joshua and Caleb because of their outlook,

  688. their children's children would inherit the promise Today for other God, I thank

  689. you that the selfishness that would try to make us stay silent and step back

  690. would no longer be able to control us. Would you allow the Holy Spirit

  691. to be the different spirit on the inside of us. For your word says

  692. you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love

  693. and a sound mind. Today, Father, would you be strong on the

  694. inside of us? And I declare, Father, as opposition comes this week,

  695. we won't back down or back up. We will stand in the authority

  696. that you have given us as children, with the grace that we don't deserve,

  697. but we get to put on every day. And Father God, we

  698. will have an outlook of an overcomer. For those who it's very hard right

  699. now with all the death and the frustration and the confusion around them, God,

  700. would you be the prince of peace in their life right now? In

  701. this sincere prayer of those who are facing Father God, financial hardships, frustrations

  702. that are taking over their thoughts and process. They're acting out of character.

  703. Father God, would you just leave a peace that gives them the ability to

  704. continue to move forward. For the child that doesn't know where they're going to

  705. school next year, For the couple who is about to call it quits because

  706. they're sick of fighting. For the person who got the bad report this week.

  707. Today, God, I thank you that every obstacle is an opportunity for

  708. you to be God and to show us and show others that we shall overcome.

  709. Today, God, we honor you. Would you be the God that

  710. you were to Joshua and Caleb for us, and I declare we will see

  711. the promised Lam even in this moment right now. There's a tender moment right

  712. now, because some people are coming out of wrong thinking. They're coming out

  713. of I hear it like this. God says, you're no longer going to

  714. be the victim. I wouldn't say this about but he just keeps. Like

  715. my prayer, it was hard to even get it out because God said,

  716. you're changing positions. From a young age, things have happened to you.

  717. I don't know exactly who this is for, but I'm prophesying. I feel

  718. this super strong that God said today the word was for you to change your

  719. outlook. You are no longer the victim. It did happen to you,

  720. and God protected you. And now He's changing your position and you're about to

  721. become a victor. You are going to be such a victor in situations that

  722. God is going to allow you to rescue other people. Hear me. You

  723. can't even see it yet, but today God stopped this service to let you

  724. know that what you have been a victim to will be under your feet.

  725. Hear what I'm saying to you right now. Somebody's receiving this word. I'm

  726. telling you right now. It's almost as if whenever God says something, there's

  727. a thief that has come to say, there's no way you can do that

  728. because of what you did and what happened to you. And God says today

  729. this whole message was to change your outlook. You will stand on the testimony

  730. of everything that happened to you, and God is going to use it to

  731. bring people to his kingdom. Receive the word of the Lord. You are

  732. no longer a victim. You will bring people to victory because your outwards changing

  733. right now. In the name of Jesus. Yes, I am confident that

  734. we are. You are, you are. Something sweet is happening right now.

  735. Yeah, Yes, I am confident. Somebody's hope is being restored.

  736. We are. It's because of the grace of Jesus. You areful, you

  737. are. Some of you are going back to that job tomorrow and it's gonna

  738. be like you've never been there before. There's a your outlook is about to

  739. change. Every place that you saw frustration, you're about to actually see freedom.

  740. You're gonna say, oh my goodness, this is an opportunity for God

  741. to use this skill. This is an I'm telling you, there is about

  742. to be an outlook change. Some of y'all going back to that house,

  743. you're gonna get inspired to decorate. You've been ready to move, and you're

  744. gonna walk back in that thing like, hold a wait a minute, let

  745. me put some paint in it. And you're gonna go to Sherman Williams and

  746. you gonna, no, I just need an accent wall right here. And

  747. then I'm telling you you're gonna get a different out. Some of y'all gonna

  748. go back to that closet and you're gonna say, you know what, I

  749. don't want to wear these clothes no more. I don't want to be this

  750. unhealthy anymore. And so tomorrow I'm going, as a matter of fact,

  751. tonight, I'm going walking God, because I'm gonna just walk this block until

  752. I lay aside every weight. See, y'all, ain't y'all don't read the

  753. scripture. It's not just sin, it's every weight and the sin that's so

  754. easily. But if you could just get a different outlook, that every step

  755. you take you're walking towards a version of you that can fulfill God's purpose without

  756. pain. Somebody say I'm getting a different outlook. Hear me. If you're

  757. in this place and you've never received Jesus, there is a sweet presence in

  758. this place right now. If you're in this place and you've never received Jesus

  759. and you want to make him your personal lord and say you're the only thing

  760. that changes your outlook is a relationship with Him, And today I want to

  761. give you that opportunity. At Transformation Church, we're a bunch of regular people

  762. who had ratchet lives that God saved us. Now, some of us didn't

  763. look ratchet, we look buttoned up, but under all of that, it

  764. was filthy. And so you're in the right place to admit you need a

  765. savior because everybody else in here has done that. That's why we go so

  766. hard and we're actually trying, and we try to pray and we try to

  767. ask for forgiveness. It's because we know that we don't deserve what God did

  768. for us, but every day we are walking towards him, trying to get

  769. a greater relationship and understanding of who He is on this earth. And today,

  770. if you want that, I want to offer you Jesus. Some churches

  771. don't do this no more because they think you should know. But because of

  772. how messed up I was. I was a liar, of manipulator, addicted

  773. to pornography. I had a lot of bad things in my heart. And

  774. I decided, God, I can't change my outlook by myself. Could you

  775. give me principles and your word and your love to help me change. And

  776. as soon as I received him and accepted him, my world begin to shift.

  777. Today is that day for you. If you're in this room. I

  778. don't care how much money you make. I don't care how many businesses you

  779. got. I don't care how many times you've done what I've done. If

  780. you are out of the will of God right now, if you're away from

  781. it, if you've never put your faith in him, today is the day

  782. of salvation for you. Today God wants to say, come on home so

  783. that you can be exactly where I've called you to be. If that's you,

  784. on account of threat, just want you to shoot your hand up.

  785. Ain't nothing magical gonna happen out here. Ain't no confetti, Ain't no All

  786. we gonna do is clap because we know that you just changed generations of your

  787. family. And more than that, your eternity is secure. And now you

  788. get help in this life. If you want to make Jesus Christ your personal

  789. Lord and savior in this sweet atmosphere. One, you're making the greatest decision

  790. of your life. Two, I'm proud of you. But more than that,

  791. your name is gonna be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Three.

  792. Shoot your hand up all over this building. I see you, my

  793. brother. I see you, my brother, I see you, I see

  794. you, hands up, I see you. Glory to God. I see

  795. you. And more than I see you, God sees you. Can somebody

  796. give God praise online? Would you just shoot your hand on hey at Transformation

  797. Church, nobody prays alone. So would you all lift your hands and just

  798. say God, thank you for sending Jesus to change my outlook today. I

  799. need you. I believe you lived and you die just for me. Change

  800. me, renew me, transform me. I'm yours in Jesus' name. Amen?
