  1. Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to the lost and found

  2. for transformation in Christ. We're so glad you're here and wherever you're listening from,

  3. we believe God will transform your life. Do today's message. We're so

  4. glad that you came, and we've been praying that you'd be blessed. The

  5. one thing that we don't take for granted is that God meets us here every

  6. time. And it may come in a song, it may come in the

  7. word, it may come in a hug in the lobby, but we know

  8. God's gonna show up. And so today I have a word that I think

  9. is going to correct all of us. I know that's not a good way

  10. to start the message, but I like to I like to tell you,

  11. like straight up front, get ready for this whooping. I ain't gonna do

  12. it because I already already got whooped, like the Lord been really working on

  13. me with this word. And that's the one thing that you gotta believe.

  14. Every time I get up here, I'm never gonna preach something to you that

  15. God is not working in me. I will not be your fraudulent pastor who

  16. tells you to love they wife and I'm treating my bad it won't be incongruent.

  17. I won't tell you to give and I ain't already gave everything. Do

  18. you understand what I'm saying so you can trust? Like I'm just not fake

  19. like that. So like if I get up here and I'll tell you something,

  20. either I've already done it or God's working on me and pushing me and

  21. into me and cutting off my flesh to actually do this. So this word

  22. already whooped me. And I need my brothers and sisters to join me in

  23. this and love lash shing. Do you hear what I'm saying? And this

  24. is what I want everybody to Like, God wouldn't do that. The Bible

  25. says he chastens, corrects, disciplines the ones he loves. If you don't

  26. get corrected, they don't love you. I used to have friends whose parents

  27. let them do anything. And now what I found out being a parent is

  28. those parents actually didn't care enough to put in the energy and effort to try

  29. to give their kids parameters to live in. And what it ended up doing

  30. is it trained them and put them in positions that they were worse off than

  31. if somebody would have set a limit for them. See what you don't understand

  32. is I'm already preaching because my message today is about limits. The one thing

  33. you think is a cuss word, the thing that you believe there should be

  34. no limits. Because I'm grown, You know how old I am. I've

  35. already seen this, already done this, I already been here, I've already

  36. experienced that. I got the T shirt and a picture. And but my

  37. question to you is what is the last limit that God set for you that

  38. you overstepped? Today we're talking about living in the overflow. Somebody say I'm

  39. living in the overflow. But in week eight of living in the overflow,

  40. I want to tell you the title of my message, something is always off

  41. limits in the overflow. God always makes something off limits when he begins to

  42. pour out his spirit, when he begins to bless you and give you influence

  43. and give you money and give you connections, there will always be something that

  44. he says, I'm taking you to another level, but I'm giving you a

  45. new limit. Uh oh. And the problem with many of us is we

  46. have not connected that God's limit actually is his love. See, at every

  47. level of blessing, write this down. There will be a new boundary.

  48. God gives you kids, that's a new level of blessing. Guess what,

  49. you have a responsibility now to protect him. You have a new boundary that

  50. you need to set in what they watch, what time they go to bed,

  51. how they do certain things. And many of us think that new levels

  52. come with new levels of freedom and not new boundaries, and you end up

  53. cutting your overflow short because you think that the boundary is something that God is

  54. doing to you instead of something he's doing for you. Okay, I see,

  55. I'm gonna have to work today. As God increases my increased my influence.

  56. Something that I've never been able to articulate is the thing that has kept

  57. me for the past ten years of a steady incline of influence, resources,

  58. connections. The thing that changed my life is that I realize that there is

  59. a limit that is set by God for every next level. So when God

  60. upgrades you, are you looking for the new limit? Oh okay, some

  61. of your conversations in friends need to be limited. You're believing for a level

  62. and want to take everybody with you. And he said, at this level,

  63. they don't even have the decorum to be able to handle the level of

  64. intimacy that we're gonna have at this level. They gotta stay right there.

  65. What they my best eat stay on the level then, and many of us

  66. would rather lower the limit God has for us to go to because we don't

  67. want to limit access to others who aren't supposed to be there. Oh,

  68. there are opinions and friendships. And watch this television series. Oh I'm gonna

  69. see the sixth season of Melissa's Way. I'm just making up a show because

  70. I don't want some of the people may be watching. Hey, what I'm

  71. telling you is, every time you watch that show, you get fill in

  72. the blank, hot and bothered, frustrated, discontent with your season. You

  73. start comparing fictional characters to your real friends. Oh somebody made that up in

  74. their bedroom, and now you're mad at people. And what I'm telling you

  75. right now is maybe God wants you to cut that service off, because now,

  76. God, use me speak through me, help me lead these young ladies,

  77. help me walk into business and be a light for you. But you're

  78. still consuming everything that everybody else is. There is no difference, there is

  79. no separation, And God's saying for the overflow, some thing's got to be

  80. off limits. Okay, they don't believe me, So I'm gonna show you

  81. that it is time for believers to start to look for the limit, learn

  82. the limit, listen for the limit, and love the limits. My best

  83. version of myself is when I started to love limits. I'm up here today

  84. with my pants with no belt. Ha ha ha. The only thing that

  85. was overflowing three years ago was my belly over this waistline. Because I would

  86. not embrace the and at the moment I said, this is not for me

  87. to lose anything. It's for me to gain everything. Gain health, be

  88. able to throw my son when we connect through wrestling and playing gold tickle,

  89. be able to have energy to fly from here and fly from there, and

  90. have a word in season and out of season. If I did not love

  91. and embrace and learn the limits, I would stop the overflow. And many

  92. of us because we won't embrace the limit of a budget. Well, I

  93. mean it's on sale, it's always gonna be on Well, I've been looking

  94. at this for years and it'll be there another two years from now in multiple

  95. colors. But you won't embrace the limit of this season, and so you

  96. continue to put yourself in captivity. You continue to look for a different season.

  97. And God's saying, if you would love the limits, I'll put you

  98. in right now. If you would embrace what I'm saying, this is off

  99. limits. They are off limits. That show us off limits. That group

  100. of people is off limits. Right now, you would begin to unlock.

  101. Somebody say the overflow. Yeah, write this down. Every person needs to

  102. recognize the boundary. Respect the boundary, remember the boundary, because you are

  103. now responsible for the blessing anytime God blesses you. He says, I'm going

  104. to actually give you a boundary with this so that you never forget who gave

  105. it to you one and you never think that this is where I want to

  106. end it. I need to give you parameters so that you can prosper parameters

  107. for prosperity. And people have hijacked that word like they're the prosperity. God,

  108. shut up. Prosper means to actually see the fullness of something. We're

  109. not taking no offering from nobody. God says in his word that he wishes

  110. that our sole prosper like he wishes that we actually find the flourishing, like

  111. actually multiply. And what God wants to do is give you parameters to prosper

  112. in and most people don't prosper because they do not embrace the parameters that God

  113. sets for them. And so today I just want to teach you that this

  114. is God's pattern. And if you're going to live in the overflow, you

  115. got to know there's some things that are off limits to you. Just say

  116. it, I can't do everything. I won't No no, no, no

  117. no. You didn't even say it like you meant it. Just say it,

  118. I can't do everything that I won't see some of you can't do it

  119. because you actually don't have the resources too. But my question is will you

  120. not do it if you could do it? So some people don't go buy

  121. all kinds of stuff because they can't. But if God puts you on a

  122. budget and you bawling and he tells you to give and top twenty percent instead

  123. of the ten, everybody be like jen, that's just the beginning. Okay,

  124. y'all. Did y'all hear people? Could God bless you so much that

  125. fifty percent of your income went to kingdom work. I'm not saying that's what

  126. you need. I just want to drop the seed that you could be so

  127. living in the overflow, that half of everything that you make from your business

  128. and your investments and went to bless other people. You can't even think like

  129. that because you're so bogged down by culture's idea of getting my own. And

  130. today I'm trying to push you to be able to live in the overflow.

  131. But that means in every level of overflow, God is going to present something

  132. that he says, not that that's off limits. Prove it to you.

  133. Genesis, chapter two, verse fifteen. The Lord God play, Do y'all

  134. know? This is in the first story of the Bible, in the very

  135. first thing God wants everybody to know. In Creation, he says, the

  136. Lord God placed the man in the garden of Eden to tend and watch over

  137. it. But the Lord God warned him, you may eat freely from all

  138. the fruit in every tree in this garden, except the tree of the knowledge

  139. of good and evil. If you eat it's fruit, you are surely going

  140. to die. Get the picture. Adam and Eve are sitting here, the

  141. most beautiful, luscious garden created crafted for them. Nobody else is coming,

  142. just them and God. They got fruit, They got more fruit than they

  143. can eat. But God blesses them, and then presents them with a what

  144. boundary? This is all yours except not that tree. No, the one

  145. behind it, the one on the side of it, the one in front

  146. of it, not that one. And it's so crazy that many times when

  147. God gives us a boundary, that's all we become focused on all of this.

  148. Don't look at the camera. I'm trying so hard not to look at

  149. the camera. But when you told me to not look at the camera,

  150. I just made me want to look at the camera. And it has a

  151. little red light on it. And isn't that when he tells you be single

  152. in this season? But he looks so good. Lord, y'all know what

  153. I'm saying, save the money. I give you all my money. Why

  154. is it that when God gives a boundary, our flesh wants to go towards

  155. it? Am I the only one? But the truth of the matter is

  156. watch this. God's pattern is to bless you, then give you a boundary.

  157. I want you to hear me say this. The next time God blesses

  158. you, I want you to look for the boundary he gives you a promotion.

  159. Who where what am I supposed to not do? No more? What

  160. am I supposed to not watch where am I supposed to not go? Fellas,

  161. if God gives you a wife, you can't hang with all your single

  162. partners. No more AREM in your business today because the things that y'all talk

  163. about in those forms, if they're not men of God and men of valor,

  164. are the things that are going to jeopardize your blessing. The Bible says,

  165. a man that finds a wife finds a good thing and finds favor with

  166. God. And man, you ain't that good by yourself. You got better

  167. when you got her. But the problem is the problem is you want the

  168. same bro time with people that don't have boundaries. You don't think that that's

  169. gonna creep in to your heart and your situation. You take that wife.

  170. You got to get new boundaries, get a new house, new boundaries.

  171. Do y'all hear what I'm saying to you right now? And many of us

  172. have been living watch this without limits? And what you do when you live

  173. without limits? You limit what God can do in your life because he loves

  174. you, because he knows if you won't embrace the limit, you are up

  175. for destruction. So he puts you in a place that you can handle and

  176. it usually is out of his favor and his actual will for your life,

  177. because you couldn't handle that platform. If God gave you ten thousand more followers,

  178. those little rants you be going on Facebook and Instagram, you would infect

  179. all kinds of people. And God said, no, we don't want them

  180. to hear that foolishness, So be quiet. Uh, twelve followers, and

  181. you be doing all that work for all twelve of your followers because God seese,

  182. can y'all hear me? Because some of us we be cause we can't

  183. control. And you can't vent on that platform because it's gonna hinder the people

  184. you're supposed to help. He says, I got to keep them limited because

  185. they won't set a limit. They won't go to counseling. They want Facebook

  186. to be their Counselor anybody ever felt like this slapping a thank you Lord for

  187. helping me. I feel like slapping a and then what God said, you

  188. need to take that childhood trauma to a place that can help. But see,

  189. you're at a new level and you won't set a new limit. You

  190. won't embrace what God's trying to do in your life. You won't embrace another

  191. limit of transparency. I said this at two mended mends ago. But I

  192. said, I don't trust any man that has a privacy screen on his phone

  193. because I used to live in secret. And I know somebody's booty just got

  194. tight now because you was reading your Bible on your privacy screen. But what

  195. I'm saying to you, what I'm saying to you is when I was in

  196. darkness, I had something to hide. Because I'm in the light, I

  197. don't slip up on websites, and if I do, I want to be

  198. found out because at the end of the day, if I don't set that

  199. limit, my life has the codes to everything. Everybody around me has the

  200. coldes to everything. My kids be having. I want to live open trench.

  201. But when you come into another level of influence, my question is have

  202. you embraced the limits? Pastor Mike? Why are you continuing to say the

  203. same thing, Because I believe many of us are cutting off the overflow that

  204. God wants to pour out. He wants to do the unthinkable in your life,

  205. but you won't embrace the new limit. He literally puts Adam and Eve

  206. in the garden and says, all of this is yours. You are living

  207. in the prototype of overflow. But this one thing is off limits. Why

  208. pastor mic write this down Because a blessing without a boundary becomes a burden.

  209. Anytime you have a blessing without a boundary, it will eventually become a burden.

  210. Right now, you got all the money in the world, but you

  211. don't store it properly. That's how people fly here, fly their drugs,

  212. this, parties, that lust, this night, that, and then end

  213. up committing suicide because the blessing had no boundaries and it ends up becoming a

  214. burden. I can't tell you how many times I've counseled people and walk with

  215. people who literally thought their life was gonna change if they just came into an

  216. abundance of something and they came into that abundance without the character to handle it.

  217. And they're like, Oh, I just got so much meetings, so

  218. many meetings. I can't take it. I'm overwhelmed. And it's like,

  219. did you pray that God would bless your business? I can't stand employees,

  220. but didn't you pray? But what it tells me is when God blesses you,

  221. you didn't put boundaries in place, then it becomes a burden. Some

  222. of y'all families are a burden because you have not put in place. Mom,

  223. I'm not talking to you about what's going on with my wife because you

  224. didn't like her. Today. She came in and you're gathering intels so that

  225. you can convince me to leave her. I don't know who I'm talking to,

  226. but some of y'all need to set boundaries. You're not married to your

  227. mother. The Bible says leave and cleave. Y'all make a decision. She

  228. don't got to know it's tight, but it's right. And so many times

  229. because you haven't set a boundary, every time it comes holiday time, why

  230. is there a burden on your marriage because you won't set a boundary? Have

  231. a great Christmas break? I can't stand Christmas break. So much stress,

  232. so much pain is because you didn't set a boundary. That cousin deserves no

  233. more money. She said the Markoh you ain't getting nothing this year? See

  234. that fail? You felt that? Then you they got to go home out

  235. of here. She felt that. She ain't said, ain't man the whole

  236. surface, but I said that shit and I but you're emotionally drained because you

  237. are blessed. But you didn't set a boundary, and so it becomes a

  238. burden here. In about three weeks, I'm going on sabbatical. I'm out

  239. of here, Audios, migos. I don't hide it. Most pastors hide

  240. leaving the church. But if I don't take this time every year to go

  241. heal. I told somebody this the other day. Pastoring is the only full

  242. contact sport without an off season. People can get online and make stories about

  243. me. Half of the members in here and talked about me. They had

  244. an influence. Some of y'all live in this community over here, and y'all

  245. friends with the people who don't want us to be here. But you won't

  246. say nothing all kinds of things. And I gotta still pray with you and

  247. believe for you, and go to God and ask the Holy Spirit. I

  248. need I need off. And the reason I'm saying this to you, I

  249. had to at the beginning. I was told by my mentor. He said,

  250. you got to create a boundary or people will take everything from you and

  251. you will have nothing to give to the people that will be there. If

  252. everything leaves, Natalie, if those four kids and the new dog Honey are

  253. gonna be the only thing they'll be the only thing there if all of this

  254. goes away. And if I don't set the boundary, watch this, watch

  255. this, write this down. It's not a point. But nobody else can

  256. set the boundary except you. So you hear it from God, but then

  257. you have to set it. Oh my gosh, revelation. He tells Adam

  258. and Eve what the boundary is. They had the boundary, they didn't set

  259. it. They knew it, but they didn't. If you know the boundary

  260. but don't set the boundary, you are suscepted the book to the lies of

  261. the enemy. And many of you know things you need to do right now,

  262. but you have not set the boundary. In this house, we pray

  263. together. In this house, we don't talk to each other like that.

  264. Some of us need to set Eden's full of everything. But money without a

  265. budget is a burden. Fire without a furnace, it's a burden. That's

  266. a burn, and then a burden a body without exercise. It's a burden,

  267. sex without covenant. It's some of y'all walking around with so many people

  268. on you, so many soul ties, so many people with a piece of

  269. them on you. You weren't even angry before you got with them. But

  270. that transfer, that connection, it's become a burden. Spirituality without love is

  271. a burden. Watch this. Be careful when people who don't own it try

  272. to override it. When God said it's off limits. I'm gonna say it

  273. oneman time. This is what the enemy did the serpent. Be careful when

  274. people who don't own it. He didn't own the garden, he didn't own

  275. the tree, He didn't own Adam and Eve. He just slithered in there,

  276. and he tried to override what God said when God already said it's off

  277. limits. He didn't really say, that's Itdy what you weren't even there when

  278. God told me I was supposed to be eating like this, or when God

  279. told me I was supposed to stay focused like this, You wasn't even there.

  280. But that's not what he meant. No, that couldn't have been how

  281. God I wanted you to live. It's twenty twenty four. Do you speak

  282. your truth? Live your truth? No? I live by the truth of

  283. the Word of God. I can't. I can't supersede because I watched this,

  284. feel like it. My feelings are real, They're not always true,

  285. Okay, and many of us are doing what we feel and not what God

  286. is telling us to do by faith. And that's why in Genesis chapter three,

  287. verse one through five, it says the serpent was the shrewdest of all

  288. the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day, he asked the

  289. woman, did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of

  290. these trees in the gordon? This is what to say that. I'm just

  291. trying to bring it life. Of course, we may eat fruit from the

  292. trees in the guard. That means Eve knew that she was not in the

  293. deficit. Eve was not missing anything. She had everything that she needed.

  294. Watch this, the woman replied, it's only the fruit from the tree in

  295. the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. That means

  296. she knew the boundary. She didn't set the boundary. You must not eat

  297. or even oh shoot, not just eat it. You can't touch it.

  298. There are certain things that we're saying, Oh, I'm good because I didn't

  299. devour it. God said you shouldn't even put your hands nowhere near that.

  300. Okay, I can't stay there. If you do, you will die.

  301. And because we don't like literally, sometimes I'll just be thinking like what if

  302. that was literal, like like I sometimes that's what make it come to life

  303. for me, Like like like if it's the young lady that I know has

  304. like you know, there's vibes between people, and like, I'm married,

  305. but I can tell when somebody has like I hate fake people. You know,

  306. you can tell when somebody a little too long of a hug. You

  307. look good, you look real good, You look really really good, and

  308. that feels good to your flesh. But what if, like what if you

  309. like went in and you're supposed to not even give a side hug or a

  310. high fib or nothing. The Lord said, no, carrate that boundary,

  311. don't touch her, and she real huggy and just putting all her grace and

  312. blessings on Oh God, I'm gonna have to y'all know what I'm talking about,

  313. putting all her goodness and mercy on you. And and what if what

  314. if God said don't touch it and at the moment you did, you just

  315. dropped dead. No, I'm like, I mean, think about it,

  316. Like, what if it was just like, oh, what's up? Ship

  317. light light? I bet you would be more. I bet you the next

  318. dude after the Giroldo fell out, you'd be like, what's up? Yeah,

  319. hey, you you run out of there. What if I told you

  320. that maybe you don't actually physically die, but something does. What if something

  321. God tegged for you said, because they keep touching and devouring things that are

  322. not like me, something that I had planned for them, something that I

  323. charted for them. It dies in that same way. And because we don't

  324. see it physically like that, we think that it don't really matter. Oh

  325. God, but the serpent will always convince you verse four. You won't die.

  326. How you know the enemy's native tongue is lying. He's the father of

  327. lives. That's all he can do. So if he does say it to

  328. you, you should believe the opposite. You won't die, Yes, I

  329. will, God said it, the serpent replied to the woman watched this.

  330. God knows that your eyes will be open as soon as you eat it,

  331. and you will be like God knowing both good and evil. See the enemy

  332. how he deceives you is there's always a little bit of truth in it.

  333. That's why they call him a deceiver. He keep yeah, your eyes will

  334. be open, but you will die too, And that's why in this season

  335. when God says, Mike, I'm taking people into the overflow, but I

  336. want you to remind them that there will be things at the next level that

  337. I'm gonna say are off limits that don't make sense. You're not gonna know

  338. why God's saying, never go to that store again. Well, God,

  339. that's where I get all my clothes from. Not there no more, it's

  340. closed. It is this. They know me, and don't go in that

  341. store ever. That don't make sense. Y'all know how we donald don't make

  342. It doesn't have to for you to be obedient. And that's why, you

  343. know, if I can be transparent. Like the way I live my life

  344. life is not because I'm a pastor. Because people think that I live my

  345. life with discipline and a decision and I don't do certain things and I don't

  346. drink and I don't do this. They think it's because I'm trying to prove

  347. that, like I'm in a good place to be a pastor. I'm the

  348. righteousness of Jesus Christ, like I when Christ accepted me, like he took

  349. all of me, and I'm gonna be working out my salvation all the way

  350. through. So that don't the reason I live the way that I live right

  351. now is not because I'm trying to be a pastor. It's because I want

  352. to be more like him. Okay, so watch this. So I have

  353. certain things that God has convicted me on that have nothing to do with you.

  354. And until we start embracing our convictions without judging other people's convictions, we

  355. become We become more critical and judgmental of what they do compared to what we

  356. do when we're on this journey of faith. And what I came to tell

  357. everybody is my convictions are curated for my calling. So the things that God

  358. says is off limits for me make me fine for you. But we don't

  359. have the same calling. We don't have to say. Some of the stuff

  360. may look similar, but it ain't the same. And so where you can

  361. go out and party and do that stuff and then get up and sing Hallelujah,

  362. when I do that, it jacks something up from the inside of me

  363. to feel incongruent. So for my calling, I got certain convictions. I

  364. won't be seen in certain places with certain people now because I don't think you

  365. a good person. Is just for my calling, for what God has asked

  366. me to do. I don't work so that I could just have a six

  367. pack, abs and all that other. No, I'll work out because I

  368. am convicted that God told me. He said, I only can bless the

  369. ministry to the level your body can take it. So for your calling,

  370. you need to get control of that fork. Now, if you want to

  371. eat a double dip cake with with thrusting and ice saying, I'm not about

  372. to judge you, I'm actually probably jealous. Let me be honest with you.

  373. When y'all birthday caking it up, I'd be like, ah, But

  374. the truth of the matter is for my calling, and my question is have

  375. you stepped over limits that were set by the Holy Spirit that had to do

  376. with your calling because you were comparing yourself to somebody else. One of the

  377. greatest tragedies in the church today is comparing convictions. Can I say it in

  378. a point, stop comparing convictions? Stop it because your call is different.

  379. Okay, let me start. That's why I say people, I'm not better

  380. than you, but I am different than you. I said it last week.

  381. I'm gonna say it again. I'm not better, I'm different. So

  382. God will encourage me to do things he may not say to you. But

  383. it all is found in his words. Watch this. So when God says

  384. it's off limits, watch this. You have to submit, especially when it

  385. doesn't make sense. And most people don't know what submission is. But it's

  386. not submission when you agree. It's only submission when you don't agree. So

  387. when God says off limits and you say I don't think it should be,

  388. then you say, but yes, Lord, I don't agree, but I

  389. will obey. I want to move God, stay in that apartment. Why

  390. I have the money to do it Cuz you don't see what's up ahead,

  391. and many of us step over. When God set some limit and he said,

  392. if you would just obey me, stay in the place I've asked you

  393. to stay. He said, it's going to produce something for you. So

  394. this is what I'm gonna do. I gave you an old Testament, first

  395. book of the Bible. Example, let me give you a new Testament one

  396. for all you extra saved believers. Here we go, Act chapter sixteen,

  397. verse four. Paul's ministry is blowing up. He is literally living in the

  398. overflow, and he wants to go and take territory for God. At chapter

  399. sixteen, verse four, as they traveled from town to town. They delivered

  400. the decisions reached by the apostles and the elders in Jerusalem for the people to

  401. obey. So the churches here's the overflow, were strengthened in faith and grew

  402. daily in numbers, blowing up everywhere. The Gospel is being expanded. He

  403. was just killing Christians, got radically saved on the road of Damascus, and

  404. now he's the biggest thing popping in the streets everywhere he goes, everybody getting

  405. saved. It's a sold out who saved everywhere people. He's a literally taking

  406. over for the kingdom. Verse six, Paul and his companions had a great

  407. idea, let's travel throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia. And having been

  408. kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the Word in the province of Asia,

  409. hold on. Wait. They wanted to go to Asia, and the Holy

  410. Spirit stopped them from preaching the Word in Asia. When they came to the

  411. border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bathynia, but the Spirit of Jesus

  412. would not allow them to go. Hold on, I'm doing something good for

  413. God, off limits preaching. I'm in the overflow. Let me step across

  414. the line and go into Asia and turn up for you in Asia. Lord,

  415. I mean, by all men's accounts, this is a good thing.

  416. And God says, stop, don't go preach there and no explanation. Yeah,

  417. well, God, why don't you Why don't you want your word to

  418. be expanded? It will be not through you off limits. Ro come here,

  419. y'all, y'all, y'all, bring that and bring the statue. Have

  420. you ever been in an event or or or something that was prestigious and they

  421. had like stansions of people and they usually have security or something. Just just

  422. put it right here, y'all. No, no, bring it, bring

  423. it closer, bring it closure, like yeah, just put one right there

  424. and then put one right here. Yeah, and then take that across.

  425. Here we go, man, let me yeah yeah. And then and then

  426. there's a limit. And then in front of uh the limit, there's usually

  427. a bodyguard. And today for this example, we're gonna call the bodyguard the

  428. Holy Spirit. God, I want to go into this area, O Holy

  429. Spirit. He didn't have to say anything. The Holy Spirit should be big

  430. enough in your life that the nudging the saint. But many times we be

  431. like God. But if if only that, but I want to do it

  432. for you. I want to I want to make your name great. You

  433. got that, But you need me because you said, if you can use

  434. anything, Lord, you can use me. But there's people, there's people.

  435. God, I'm seeking you, and I just feel in my spirit that

  436. I'm supposed to go to that side of town and start another nonprofit, no

  437. matter that there's six nonprofits that I can partner with over there. I need

  438. my own logo, so God, and no matter how many times I try

  439. to ince my way, no matter how many times I tried. Paul tried

  440. to go into an area watch this for a good reason. It was not

  441. his assignment. It was just an an opportunity. And so many of us

  442. are confusing an opportunity with an assignment. And the Holy Spirit is the only

  443. one that can differentiate for you because they look the same. I'm preaching here,

  444. so I should be able to go to Asia and preach. And he

  445. said, that does not have your name on it. It's off limits,

  446. even though it seems like everywhere you go there's an overflow. Watch this.

  447. So Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having

  448. been kept from the Holy Spirit from preaching the Word in the province of Asia,

  449. he kept them. He kept them, which means that his limit was

  450. not because I needed to lose something. His limit was because he was trying

  451. to keep me or protect me from something. See, whenever the Holy Spirit

  452. is saying no, it's because he loves you. Whenever the Holy Spirit is

  453. saying that opportunity looks amazing, but you have no idea what you will lose

  454. over there. If you go for the money, you might lose your motives.

  455. If you go ah, if you go for the platform, you might

  456. lose your peace. I need you to know I'm cheaping you. If you're

  457. gonna live in the overflow, you gotta know some things or off limits.

  458. So what does this teach me? Not all godly ambition is approved by the

  459. Holy Spirit. So everything you think God would be glorified by, he don't

  460. want you to do. Oh my goodness, y'all have churches you are pastoring

  461. that God didn't tell you to start. That's why struggle at every angle.

  462. Holy Spirit, come back. That's where to struggle at every angle. That's

  463. why you seem like you're fighting so much. Because the Holy Spirit tried to

  464. keep you from starting at church. But what the Holy Spirit will sometimes let

  465. you do is when you are so adamant of getting into a position and a

  466. place that you're not supposed to be in. The only thing that will bring

  467. you out of that place is to let you have it. And the worst

  468. place to be is where God is not. Oh my God, did y'all

  469. hear me? I said the worst place to be is where the Holy Spirit

  470. is not. And I think God that Paul had enough sense to say,

  471. you know what, I am working in some godly ambition. I do want

  472. to take over this territory for God. But if the Holy Spirit says this

  473. is off limits for you, what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna take a

  474. nap. That's what the Bible says. He did, y'all, don't be

  475. reading the Bible. He takes a nap, he said verse nine. During

  476. the night, Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging

  477. him come over to Macedonia and help us. After Paul had seen the vision,

  478. we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had

  479. called us to preach the Gospel to them instead of going into Asia. Two

  480. things I need you to know. A supernatural idea requires supernatural timing. So

  481. it's not that the Word is not going to go to Asia. It's just

  482. it wasn't time and he wasn't the carrier. And many of us are offended

  483. if God chooses somebody else to do part of the mission. I can't even

  484. stay there role, but a lot of us. If I'm not singing a

  485. song, it's not anointed. That's not true. God will use somebody else

  486. to sing that song. You need to turn around and obey the limits that

  487. He has set for you so you can live in the overflow. Paul and

  488. his posse's provision was where God told them to be, not where they wanted

  489. to be. Oh God, if the Holy Spirit is a security guard,

  490. if he's trying to lead us and keep us, it's for our protection.

  491. And today I'm just asking everybody, as you're believing God to expand your business,

  492. go from glory to gorge, take you to another level when he does,

  493. because I believe he is. I'm asking you to look for the limits

  494. because watch this last point. God's limit is his love. Just like a

  495. good father. When I get my kids and we go into our neighborhood.

  496. The first thing I tell them is, hey, don't go on the street.

  497. The street, for some reason, looks so appealing to my children.

  498. I don't know about your kids, but for my kids, it's like,

  499. we got this big old driveway, we got all this other stuff, and

  500. all they want to do is run to the street. And I have to

  501. set limits for them because I know the dangers of people that are on that

  502. main street that aren't looking out for them. They don't care about them.

  503. They don't know what they smell like when they put lotion on, they don't

  504. know what they sound like when they cry. I have an intimate relationship with

  505. all of those children, and so what I love, I protect. And

  506. if I didn't care, like the dog, I really don't care the dog

  507. runs out in the street. At this moment, it's new to the household.

  508. It could maybe make it, maybe not. I Scott knows. I'm

  509. telling the truth. My wife and them kids love the dog. But the

  510. dog, you know what I'm saying. At the end of the day,

  511. they'd be like, honey, honey, protect yourself. Brother. But if

  512. Jia, if Jia starts to even inch outside of the garage. I set

  513. limits because I love her. I'm asking you, as you go to another

  514. level, not to miss what God wants to do in the place he's providing

  515. protection. I said it like this, don't miss Macedonia trying to get to

  516. the masses. He had to redirect him in his dream to go to the

  517. place where he would be effective and protective. God doesn't just want you to

  518. be effective. He wants you to be effective and protective. He wants you

  519. to be covered and cared for. He wants you to walk in your fullness

  520. and not lose anything. So he redirected Paul. I know Asia Minor would

  521. be the biggest blow up of history for the gospel, but go back to

  522. Macedonian instead of trying to go get the masses. I got that I need

  523. you to take care of them. I had a friend who's prominent, and

  524. if I called their name, you would know exactly who. They are,

  525. huge, famous all over the world. And they were interviewed and they got

  526. asked the question, did fame change you? Did the money change? You

  527. did the platform change, you did the spotlight change you? And the interviewer

  528. was stunned by his response. He said no, and it should have,

  529. and I said what he said. No, I was trying to act the

  530. same that I acted back there in this new level. And that's why I

  531. lost everything. Because I was supposed to change the boundaries when I came to

  532. this new level of blessing, but because I tried to keep my old boundaries

  533. at a new level of blessing, it became a burden to my wife,

  534. to my kids, to everybody I led. And so when people say this

  535. transformation church everything, did it change you? Yes? It made me put

  536. new boundaries in place. It made me put new accountability in place. It

  537. made me say, God, if you're gonna take me up, show me

  538. what else I need to cut off. Father, before you got to cut

  539. on me, let me cut it off. I don't want to be humbled

  540. by you. I'll humble myself before the mighty hand of God. So view

  541. the boundaries as a blessing. If God says, don't watch that no more,

  542. say oh, oh, God's trying to take me to a whole nother

  543. level. When God says, stop binging on that, Oh, God's requiring

  544. something else. And even when I want to go into the places that seem

  545. good, when the Holy Spirit lovingly and kindly walks me back. He could

  546. body slam me, come on, the Holy Spirit could be forceful with it,

  547. but he lovingly redirects me into the space and the place where my provision

  548. and protection is. I believe there's some areas that God's redirecting you through this

  549. message and through his presence, that he's saying, I've blessed you, but

  550. don't cut off the overflow because you won't embrace brand new boundaries. I wrote

  551. this down as my last thought, and I really want to give it to

  552. you because it really blessed me, and I hope it blesses you. Set

  553. limits by faith today for the life you want to live tomorrow. What if

  554. the limits you set are actually a sign of faith to God that I'm ready

  555. for this next thing? Right? Oh no, no, no, no,

  556. no, no, yeah, I'm budgeting off of this. I'm tithing

  557. fifteen percent, not ten percent. God, I'm doing. I am living

  558. my life in such a way that it tells you I'm ready. I'm setting

  559. the limits today. I'm not gonna wait for the moment I gotta set them.

  560. Let me set these relationships in order, now, let me set this

  561. discipline in order. Now, let me set the limits by faith today for

  562. the life I want to live tomorrow, because the boundaries actually are a blessing.

  563. Would you stand all over this place? I feel the presence of God

  564. in here. Proverbs twenty five to eight says a man without self control,

  565. a man without boundaries, a man without a limit is like a city broken

  566. into left without walls. Without the boundaries, you're going to lose what God

  567. placed in there today. Would you lift your hands all over this place.

  568. We're about to leave, y'all, But in this place, I believe God

  569. is trying to remind you. The Holy Spirit is trying to lovingly remind you,

  570. and I want you to live in the overflow. But listen to me

  571. when I say something is off limits. I don't know what He's speaking to

  572. you right now, but I want you to ask him, Holy Spirit,

  573. what are you trying to say to me through this message? Come on right

  574. there, just you, you and God, Holy Spirit? What are you

  575. trying to say to me through this masat? What do I need to change?

  576. What do I need to reevaluate? What do I need to recalibrate in

  577. my life? Where are you trying to correct? Change? Convict? Where

  578. are you trying to communicate. No, no, no, no, no.

  579. I know I'm grown and I should. I could be at her house

  580. until four o'clock in the morning. But God, I'm going to set this

  581. boundary and I'm leaving at eleven. Not because I can't, but I don't

  582. even want to be caught in that temptation. Come on, y'all, I'm

  583. talking about where are the things? No no, no, no, no

  584. no no. You can't have my personal cell phone number. I'll talk to

  585. you through email. Come on, y'all, where are the places that God's

  586. saying this is off limits? Today? Father, here we all are asking

  587. you to do what you did for Adam and Eve. Would you make the

  588. limit clear? Would you show us in the beautiful expansive overflow what you want

  589. to be off limits to us? And Father, we won't compare it to

  590. anybody else, and we won't complain. Father God that well they get to

  591. and they get to because we know our convictions are based on our calling.

  592. Today, God, would you allow us to embrace everything that you say is

  593. off limits for us, because your will is to protect us and provide for

  594. us. Forgive me for thinking I knew better than you. I know you

  595. said not to be in that relationship, and I still did it. I

  596. know you said not to spend the money on that, and I still did

  597. it. I know you said, don't have that conversation yet, and I

  598. still did it. Father, forgive me when I have tried to supersede what

  599. you said was off limits, to make it work the way way I thought

  600. it should work. Today, God, I'm coming back to you, submitted

  601. and humbled, and I'm asking would you do a work on the inside of

  602. me to not have to understand to obey because I got history with you,

  603. and Father, you've been faithful and you've been good even when I haven't been

  604. so. Today, God, as a church, as a community, today

  605. we are humbly repenting. We are turning from listening to the serpents in our

  606. life that try to tell us that you don't know best for us. And

  607. Father, we're asking today that you would help us love limits. Father.

  608. That even that sounds countercultural, but Father, God, it is when we

  609. embrace those things that we actually get to live in true freedom. Thank you

  610. that your word would be a limit for us, that we would know how

  611. to handle situations, because we'll find the answers in your Word. Thank you

  612. that our marriage will be founded by limits that are in the Word. Thank

  613. you for your love limiting things that seem good but actually would be a burden.

  614. Today, God, thank you for this correction and warning. As we

  615. move into the overflow, I thank you that we'll embrace everything you have for

  616. us. Today we leave this place encouraged that you love us that much,

  617. you love us enough to set limits, and for that we say thank you.

  618. Come on, say thank you God. If you're in this room and

  619. you've never accepted Jesus, today I want to give you an opportunity to come

  620. out of the burden of living a life without a savior. See, none

  621. of us are good enough. The Bible says, our good works are like

  622. filthy rags compared to what God has for us. So today, if you

  623. want to accept Jesus, this is the only thing that can change your entire

  624. life and literally bring you into a blessing that is gonna change your boundaries.

  625. But it's gonna take away so much of the burden. It took me from

  626. being a liar of manipulator, addicted to pornography, had so many dark things

  627. in my heart, and God said, trade me Michael, and He's given

  628. me joy and peace and understanding and community and a church home and an instruction

  629. manual. I can live this life and actually be successful. And there are

  630. people that are under the sound of my voice in this room and watching online

  631. that need to make Jesus their personal Lord and savior today. And the reason

  632. I'm speaking with passion because it's the greatest one thing I've ever done. And

  633. today I want to give you that opportunity. If you're in this room,

  634. I don't care what you've done. I don't care how bad you think you've

  635. messed up. You have done nothing that will keep you out of the scope

  636. of God's love. Today. Jesus wants a relationship with you. But he

  637. doesn't know what I said, Yes he does. He doesn't know who I'm

  638. with, Yes he does. He doesn't know what I have hidden in my

  639. heart, Yes he does, and he's just waiting for you to bring it

  640. to him. He's the only one that if you bring him your heart,

  641. he'll help you change your habits. And today, on the counter of three,

  642. if you want to accept Jesus all over this world, all over this

  643. room and all over the world, I want you to just slip your hand

  644. in the air. We're not gonna make you fess all your sins. We

  645. do pray that you would get in a tribe or get in community to where

  646. you can confess, because James says, the healing comes in the confession.

  647. Jesus will take it all away. But there's some stuff you need to get

  648. off your chest, and that's where we want to come in as a church.

  649. But today your eternal salvation can be secure by the finished work of Jesus

  650. Christ. One, you're making the greatest decision of your life. Two,

  651. I'm proud of you. But more than that, your name is about to

  652. be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. If you want to accept Jesus.

  653. Three, shoot your hand up in the air right now. I see

  654. hold on, there you go. I see a person right there, one

  655. right there, and there's someone like come on, if one person, I

  656. see you back there, Glory to God. I see you, my brother,

  657. I see you, my sister. Hey. The thing that you got

  658. to understand is in a place like this, we want thousands of hands to

  659. go up. Heaven rejoices over one. The full turn up is over one

  660. person that would give their life to Christ. And that Transformation church saw several

  661. hands. This is the reason we come here, so nobody prays alone.

  662. Would you lift your hands and just say, God, thank you for sending

  663. Jesus just for me. Today. I cast my burdens onto you. I

  664. believe you lived, you died, and you rose again just for me.

  665. I give you my life, Change me, renew me, transform me.

  666. I'm yours in Jesus' name a man? Can we turn up with heaven right
