Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to the lost and found
-
for transformation in Christ. We're so glad you're here and wherever you're listening from,
-
we believe God will transform your life. Do today's message. Oh,
-
come on and give God praise in this building right now. I said,
-
give him a praise, the kind of praise you've been wanting to give him
-
all morning. Law who I just wanted to testify. I could have stayed
-
in that worship all morning long. What a glory in this room this morning,
-
Amen, and I want you to help me. Thank God for the
-
Angel of the Lord of this house, the visionary and apostolic leadership. That's
-
what Mike and Natalie talk. Come on, let's give God thanks and tell
-
tell them we love them and we're glad the rest. Come on, help
-
me thank God for all these leaders that they're raising up, all this team
-
and staff. Come on, praise God. Look at your neighbors, say,
-
neighbor, if you like me like I am, you better take one
-
good look at me because this is the last day of my life that I'll
-
ever be heavy, depressed, grow busted, or disgusted. Tell them the
-
rest of my life It's gonna be the best of my life because what God
-
starts, God knows how to finish. And I need somebody on every role.
-
Right now, I know we gotta go, but I want you to
-
appoint yourself as a praise captain. On your role. Nobody else on your
-
role praises God. You need to testify. He's been too good to me
-
to watch somebody else praise him. We'll blest the Lord at all times.
-
His face sult continually be in my mouth. Open of your mouth and let
-
him feel it for the praise to to let it out TC national who God
-
made it sound. God made it feul Everything that the devil tried. God
-
made it fel God made it sound. God made it foul. Every thing
-
that the God'll tried, God made it sad. Thank you. Somebody send
-
a running shot to the kingdom of darkness and let the hell know today I'm
-
not going to my cou the same way I'm walked in this building. God
-
is up to something good in our life. Let's go to the Word.
-
You please please stand for the reading of the Word. I have to do
-
this frequently in my church because when you have the coming together of all kinds
-
of culture. You got to remind everybody about the kingdom. And I know
-
there's some people wondering what we're feeling. Some don't feel it, some do
-
feel it, some wonder what's going on. Some understand what's going on.
-
Touch three people in your zip code and tell them, neighbor, this is
-
a praise break and everything that has breath. How to take the next fifteen
-
seconds and give God the best praise you know how to give it? Give
-
it to them right now? All right, okay, okay, okay,
-
all this carrying on, y'all like you believe God's up to something in your
-
life. So look over at your neighbors saying it's you. Now what God
-
was up to? You would understand? Why praise him like I praise him.
-
Trouble don't last? Why better be careful what trouble don't last? Trouble
-
don't last. We thank your Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
-
Take your bible with me, Lord, have mercy. Take your bible
-
with me, please and open it to the Gospel of Saint Luke the first
-
chapter. I rise at the request of your great senior pastor, who my
-
friend Travis Green called me, and he said Bishop, you about to get
-
a phone call from Pastor Mike Todd and Transformation Church to come preach. I
-
said, Travis Green, don't mess with me. I will come to Columbia
-
and body slam you if you mess with me. He said, no,
-
Bishop, they're about to call in a couple of days later. You know
-
what I believe God is doing in this season, streams are coming together,
-
hear me. Psalm forty six, Verse one said there is a river whose
-
streams may glad the city of our God. And sometimes we get in our
-
church service and we think our church is the river, but we're just a
-
stream. The river doesn't rise until the streams come together. And the kingdom
-
needs this revelation that we need everybody to get to. Come on. I'm
-
talking about Jesus people. Are there any Jesus people in the house. It's
-
time to come together. And this morning is a beautiful inner section of streams
-
coming together. And I rise to give honor to God and thanks to God
-
for all that he's doing here. The Holy Ghost is in this room right
-
now. I want to just say to you, on my way to what
-
I'm going to preach, there's precious people that are helping me. I feel
-
so sorry for him. There are two messages I'm so compelled with right now,
-
and one of them is the word of the Lord for this hour.
-
The other is a message I've been carrying for the last four or five weeks.
-
I'm not going to be able to preach that message, but I want
-
to do. I do want to release it and just tell you you're in
-
a season of recompense, not just restoration, but recompense. Restoration is when
-
you get back what you lost. Recompense is when God makes your enemy pay
-
you back what he stole. And some on top of it, shake your
-
neighbor's hand, tell them. Decree a season of recompense over your life.
-
Now, if you hadn't been, if you hadn't been going through something,
-
that don't particularly bless you. But if you've been fighting some stuff, dealing
-
with some stuff, got an adverse, every rais in its head, took
-
some of your peace, took some of your joy. I want to decree
-
over the House of God, recompense is coming in Jesus' name. Recompense,
-
recompense, recompense, recompense. But when I began to pray about this assignment,
-
the Lord the Lord took me to the most unique place. I think
-
it's a Christmas passage almost, so we're gonna have Christmas in July to day.
-
But look's Gospel the first chapters where I want to launch from. Can
-
you put the picture of my family up there? Please? Is that accessible?
-
I want you to see my crew, Lord have mercy. So from
-
left to right, on my far left as my eldest son Jeremiah to his
-
left, and your right as Judah. And then that's me. Sitting in
-
my lap is my youngest son, Isaac Asher Wallace. And sitting to your
-
right. From there is the queen of our hive, the jam in my
-
jelly, Rob she's so fine. I'll get up there on that picture and
-
give her a kiss. Come on, somebody in her lap is the sweetest,
-
juiciest baby girl. That is Genesis Emaya Wallace. Can I tell you
-
a two minute story real quick? So Genesis Emayah Wallace was born to a
-
precious fourteen year old girl and she was about to have an abortion, but
-
her grandmother called our church and said she wants to have the baby, and
-
we're looking for somebody to take it. And Devon has my wife has a
-
ministry of helping to locate families for girls who are in that situation and rescue
-
girls caught in trafficking. I'm in the air flying home and I land and
-
I get a message from Devon on my phone. She said to me,
-
Kevin, I just met with a precious fourteen year old girl who is thirty
-
six weeks pregnant. She hit it during COVID, had a hoodie on and
-
she hid her pregnancy and told her grandmother thirty six weeks. In long story
-
short, Devin said, while I was talking to the girl, the Holy
-
Spirit said to me, that woman is carrying your baby. Well, when
-
I landed and got that message, I said, take back off, get
-
me back up in the air. I need to take something. And this
-
is crazy. So she was born and Genesis I was the first man to
-
hold her, and she came out screaming and she's still screaming and loved Jesus
-
with all of her heart. And she's three years old today. She's in
-
sixty She's so tall, She's this tall. It's a maze. She's just
-
three year old. She has d one attributes. She gonna be a y'all
-
hear what I'm telling you division one, she gonna be all right, It's
-
gonna be good. That fourteen year old girl had a twenty eight year old
-
mother who was in prostitution. That twenty eight year old lady had ten abortions
-
and one child and was about to have her last abortion. And that fourteen
-
year old mama called her twenty eight year old mama and said to her,
-
don't abort that baby. I know a preacher's family who will take it if
-
you will. Now she hadn't talked to me. I advised her next time
-
to call me ahead of time. That twenty eight year old lady we rescued
-
her from the lifestyle she was in, put her in a safe house for
-
six months. She gave birth to that precious baby boy sitting on my knee.
-
By blood, he is her uncle, but because we adopted them both,
-
he is her brother, and so we call him buncle Asher. While
-
you say all that, because I'm tired about the church screaming against abortion,
-
but ain't adopting none of the babies. If we're gonna holler, we're gonna
-
have to help somebody. Y'all don't have to like me. I'm only here
-
for one Sunday. But we need somebody to tell the truth. The church
-
needs to be more than one who identifies a problem. We need to provide
-
solution. Thank you, Thank you, Luke One. Luke one, don't
-
don't lose your joy. Luke one, don't lose your joy. Ain't nobody
-
wants nobody to do nothing. To pray. That's all I'm asking you to
-
do. Pray Luke Chapter one. I want to preach today for a few
-
moments, to the future of this house and to the future of every believer
-
in room. I want to tell you, no matter what you've seen,
-
experienced, witness and been through with God. And my brother today started talking
-
about history with God. Anybody got history with God. I want to tell
-
you, not only do you have history with God, you have a future
-
and a destiny with God. And I need to speak this morning to the
-
future of what God is going to do in this room and in your life.
-
And I want to preach from the Book of Luke the first chapter,
-
and I want us to begin reading in verse five. Now, this is
-
a little bit more scripture. I told the brothers that came with me.
-
I said, the issue with this message is the complexity of the text.
-
It's a lot going on here, and I got to read quite a bit
-
of it, so you capture and catch exactly what is happening in this season.
-
And we call this a Christmas text, it's a Christmas passage. I
-
get all that, but I want you to hear what the Lord is saying
-
to this house. I believe with oh my heart, this is for the
-
future in this place and in your hearts. And I want to read from
-
Luke chapter one, verse five. When you chapter one, verse five,
-
when you have it, say amen, and we're going to read through verse
-
fourteen. And then I'm gonna read two passages at the end of this chapter,
-
and I'm gonna be done. There was in the days of Herod,
-
the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias of the division of Abijah.
-
His wife was of the daughters of Erin, and her name was Elizabeth.
-
And they were both righteous, say righteous. They were both righteous before
-
God, walking in all the commandments of God and ordinances of the Lord.
-
They were blameless. But they had no child because Elizabeth was barren, and
-
they were both well advanced in years. And so it was that while he
-
was serving as priests before God in the order of his division, according to
-
the custom of the priesthood. His lot fell to burn incense when he went
-
into the temple of the Lord, and the whole multitude of the people were
-
praying outside at the hour of incense. Then an angel of the Lord appeared
-
to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And
-
when Zechariah saw him, he was troubled and fear fell upon him. But
-
the angel said to him, do not be afraid, for your prayer is
-
heard, and your wife, Elizabeth, will bear you a son, and
-
you shall call his name John. Now this is interesting, but no one
-
in his family had ever been called John before. Look at verse fourteen,
-
and you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.
-
Can you say, a man, Now, I want you to flip
-
over with me, and I want you to look at verse fifty seven,
-
verse fifty seven, and verse fifty eight, and then I'm gonna be through
-
when you have fifty seven, Say I got it now. Elizabeth full time
-
came for her to be delivered, and she brought forth a son. Watched
-
this win. Her neighbors and relatives heard how the Lord had shown great mercy
-
to her, They rejoiced, let me keep going with verse fifty nine if
-
you can do this. So it was on the eighth day that they came
-
to circumcise the child, and they were going to call him by his father's
-
name, Zecharias. But his mother answered and said, no, karate chop,
-
your neighbor to his name shall be called John. They said to her,
-
there is no one among your relatives who is called by this name.
-
So they made signs to his father what he would have him be called.
-
And he asked for a writing tablet. And you know why he got a
-
writing tablet, because that joker has not been able to speak for nine months.
-
I'm preach on that in just a minute. So he wrote it down.
-
His name verse sixty three is John. And they all marveled, and
-
immediately his tongue was loosed. He opened his mouth and began to praise God.
-
I want you to look there with me, please at that sixty first
-
verse and sixtieth verse there all the way up through fifty nine. It said.
-
They looked at her and said his name ought to be called Zacharias,
-
and she said not, So his name shall be called John. I want
-
you to look at your neighbor right now. Find a neighbor that you love.
-
Maybe you love all of them, but find at least one that you
-
love. Look at your neighbor, say neighbor, God's gonna do something significant
-
in your life. Say TC nation. Oh, come on, get some
-
faith. Holler at him, say TC Nation. God is gonna do something
-
significant in your future. But tell everybody you're talking to, whatever you do,
-
don't let your cousins name your baby. That neighbor got slightly offended.
-
Look at your other neighbor and tell your other neighbor. Whatever you do,
-
don't let your cop name your baby. How many believe God is getting ready
-
to do something in your future? Holler at me in this room. Lord,
-
help us to preach the gospel today. Give us the anointing to preach,
-
the anointing to receive. And I thank you that this seed today,
-
Lord, that you have put in my heart. I pray and declare and
-
believe that it will produce transformation in every life in Jesus's name. And everyone
-
said, Amen, you can be seated in the presence of the Lord.
-
Now this is a Christmas text. I recognize that we usually are accustomed to
-
hearing this text presented in some capacity at Christmas time. But there's something significant
-
in this text that I think is for us today, and I want to
-
go just jump in right where Luke the doctor, the physician, jumps in,
-
and he begins to talk about what this miracle is and this supernatural birth
-
that is getting ready to happen. But he sets it in a context with
-
a small little phrase, and he said, in the days of Herod,
-
say the days of Herod. Now this phrase can be read over without capturing
-
and considering the implications of such a statement, But I want you to think
-
about this. The story I'm preaching this morning happened in one of the darkest
-
periods in Israel's history, the days of Herod. Herod was not a godly
-
man. In fact, he was a maniacal king who was godless and craved
-
power for himself. History reveals Herod the Great killed his own family to preserve
-
his future. He killed those closest to them. History also tells us that
-
he killed the rabbis and got rid of their voices. Because there was such
-
strong conviction coming against Herod, he didn't want any accountability. So history tells
-
us that he killed people. He killed his family to preserve his future.
-
He killed rab because he didn't want to hear their voice. This is a
-
dark period, and somehow, in the middle of this darkness, Luke does
-
not focus on all that Herod is doing and all the craziness of Herod's life.
-
Luke doesn't focus on the flaws or the failure of the leadership of Herod.
-
He chooses instead to talk about a faithful priest and his wife Elizabeth,
-
who were both living watched this a righteous and blameless life. I want to
-
encourage the church this morning, because sometimes I think we get under the impression
-
that folk in church we somehow spiritualize the world we live in and forget that
-
we're living surrounded by darkness. And one day, if everybody around us,
-
if all the preachers will get right, if all the politicians get right,
-
if everybody lives holy, I won't have an excuse to keep living this water
-
down lukewarm life that I'm living. And I want to tell you this,
-
you need to decide today, no matter how crazy and hell and horrible Herod
-
is, you need to decide as for me and my house, we're gonna
-
serve the Lord, I'm not waiting on Herod to get saved. I'm not
-
waiting on every elected politician to get saved. I'm not waiting on hell Bud.
-
I want everybody to get born again. But if none go with us,
-
We're still gonna live for Jesus. I'm gonna go to church, I'm
-
gonna pay my times, I'm gonna have a prayer life. I'm gonna love
-
people and treat people well. Even in the days of Herod, the righteous
-
still live righteous. Even in the days of Herod, watch this, the
-
blameless still live a blameless life. You don't need the craziness going on around
-
you to become an excuse for your own craziness. You need to decide,
-
I'm gonna walk with Jesus. If nobody in my neighborhood walks with Jesus,
-
if nobody in my high school walks with Jesus, if nobody come on in
-
here, somebody, we're gonna walk with him. We're gonna love the Lord
-
with all of our heart and mind, soul and strength. And text teaches
-
us that in the midst of darkness, Herod, the days of Herod,
-
Zechariah decided, I'm gonna keep living right, I'm gonna live a blameless life.
-
Now. This is what is interesting. What is interesting is the Bible
-
says he is blameless, and in the next verse it says, but they
-
were bearing. Now this is a challenging thing to reconcile theologically, because we
-
have taught peanut, butter and jelly Jesus to people, and we tell them,
-
as long as you do all the right stuff, nothing wrong will ever
-
happen to you in your house. I want to tell you right now,
-
living blameless doesn't give you an exemption card from the challenges. Talk to me,
-
TC, Come on here. I didn't come to depress you or to
-
make you somehow unnecessarily afraid. But I did come to help you make sense
-
of some of the stuff you've been walking through. In light of the fact
-
that you've been living for God, walking with God, trusting Jesus, living
-
as best you can according to his word. You can testify that I've got
-
some stuff in my life happening that doesn't line up with my confession. Does
-
that mean God is not real? Does it mean the truth isn't true?
-
Does it mean the Bible can't be trusted? I want you to hear me
-
right now. Many are the afflictions not of the ungodly, but the righteous.
-
The righteous still go through some stuff. And we got to fix this
-
thing because there are people who sign up to follow Jesus, because we have
-
painted a picture that if you follow God, nothing wrong will happen. Well,
-
I want to tell you what Jesus said. The storm comes to the
-
man who built on the sand and the man who built on the rock.
-
And the only difference between the people living on the sand and living on the
-
rock is not the storm, because the storm came to both addresses. But
-
if you make your mind up to stick with Jesus, the storm will pass
-
and you will make it through somebody to praise him if you believe what I'm
-
talking about. I'm just talking here. We're just talking and getting to know
-
one another. Make up your mind. I'm gonna live a blameless life,
-
but I want you time to stand that sometimes bearnness even comes to the blameless.
-
It is impossible to overstate the difference between Herod's life and Zechariah's life.
-
Herod was a godless man and Zechariah was a faithful priest. But he decided
-
even though God hasn't given me a child. I'm gonna keep on living for
-
God, and I want you to understand. Many of us in this room
-
today and watching me online, we have learned how to live with faith in
-
the tension of doing all that we can to live godly, and still sometimes
-
we go through stuff we can't explain to people. He's blameless, but they're
-
barren. How do you respond when you want to live blameless but you feel
-
barren? How do you handle the moments in life where you want to be
-
faithful but you feel fruitless. Zechariah teaches us something here. If you look
-
at the eighth and the ninth verse of that chapter I read Chapter one of
-
Luke's Gospel. If you look at verse eight and nine, you will see
-
Zechariah showing us a paradigm of journey. This is how you walk with God
-
in the tension of life where you don't get what you wanted when you wanted
-
it, and you gotta grow up, put your big boy britches on and
-
say, I didn't just serve Jesus to see what he would give for me.
-
A disciple doesn't follow him just for the benefits. A disciple follows Jesus
-
come hell or because that's no other one who has the words of eternal life.
-
So what do you do? What do you do when you're trying to
-
live blamelessly but you feel barren? Life is just empty? What do you
-
do? Number one? I'm gonna teach real quick. This just introduction,
-
but the Bible said in the eighth verse, he served God, touch your
-
neighbor. Touch a neighbor. Don't get too excited. We just talking Touch
-
them and tell them keep on serving God. I'm telling you that because sometimes
-
in life, you and I will go through seasons that will challenge our willingness
-
to serve God. If we don't get our way. I need you to
-
understand, if you keep the right heart, God has a blessing in store
-
for you in your future. The only thing that can jeopardize your destiny is
-
an attitude of entitlement. I didn't get no help on that one right there,
-
but I'm gonna preach it anyway. Do you understand and how mad I
-
would have been if I were the servant of Elijah? In One King seventeen,
-
Elijah looked at his servants, said, go up to the top of
-
that mountain and tell me what you see. Now I've been to Israel a
-
number of times. In Mount Carmel is the mountain that he asked that servant
-
to climb. It's not a hill, it's not a little rolling hill.
-
It's a mountain. He said, go up seven times and tell me what
-
you see. Why is that significant? Because sometimes you gotta make up your
-
mind even when you don't see something. I'm gonna serve the word that God
-
spoke over my life. It wasn't the first, second, or third time,
-
the fourth, fifth, or sixth time, but the seventh time he
-
walked up that mountain watched this. He saw the cloud the size of a
-
man's hand. I want to tell you something. The prophet heard it,
-
but the first one to see it was not the prophet. The first one
-
to see it's the servant. If you want to see what nobody else ever
-
saw, you gotta be willing to serve. Then a season. Look at
-
somebody, tell them keep servant number two. This is gonna get me in
-
trouble here, but I'm gonna preach it. Not only do you have to
-
stay a servant. Look at verse eight and nine. The Bible said he
-
stayed in his order. So tell you never say stay a Servant number two
-
say stay in order. It is tempting in a season of delay to get
-
out of order. Some people, I'm in the book here, some people
-
miss their assignment because they get out of order. They'll change callings, careers,
-
even churches. Uh huh. And some people get so jacked up they
-
try to change spouses, thinking that if I make this change, it'll change
-
my season. Oh no, you can change callings, careers, you can
-
change spouses and churches. But at the end of the day, you cannot
-
rush what only God can do in divine timing. Look at your neighbor,
-
tell them you better stay in order. Stay in order. I want to
-
declare this over you. God puts you in a tribe called and created you
-
with great specificity. You were sovereignly placed, strategically located. Your presence in
-
this place, in this generation, in this nation, in this city,
-
at this time is intentional. So don't take matters into your own hands,
-
Abraham, and try to birth in this flesh what God started in the Holy
-
Ghost. I need somebody on e repew to help me praise God right there.
-
You can't produce out of your flesh what God can only produce by his
-
spirit. So number one, you got to stay a servant. Number two
-
you got to stay in order, and perhaps most importantly, number three,
-
you got to stay ready. This is the challenge of people in a season
-
of delay. Zechariah was in a pattern of delay. He was in the
-
priesthood, and he was an older man we know that from the text,
-
and had never been called upon to serve in the temple. But they would
-
draw lots, and there were so many priests that were fulfilling their obligation.
-
And it just so happened that in his old age, God just so happened
-
to work through the drawing of lots and allowed Zechariah to be chosen in his
-
old age to serve in the temple at that time. Can you imagine what
-
it would have meant for him had he disengaged because of the delay. Lord,
-
help me preach right here. How many people in the Kingdom miss their
-
purpose because they disconnect during a season of delay. Well, you know,
-
I just don't go to church no more. First of all, I don't
-
know where that came from. That thing did not come from heaven, because
-
good things happen when we go to church. Come on and talk to me.
-
I ain't mad at nobody. But I'm telling you right now, there's
-
something about coming together that lifts my spirit. You don't have to agree with
-
me, and I can get blessed on the beach on vacation. I did
-
it two weeks ago, sitting in there looking on my phone waves coming Hi.
-
I felt the glory of the Lord. But something happened. I had
-
to end vacation and go back to church and shout with the saints, and
-
cry with the saints and pray with the saints. Because where two or three
-
are gathered in his name, he said, I'll be there in the midst.
-
Stop your neighbor, tell them, don't disconnect, don't disconnect, don't
-
disengage. It's not time to reprioritize your life. You need to be in
-
the house of the law. So he stays a servant. He stays in
-
order, and he stays ready, and they drew his lot. Watch this,
-
and he goes to the temple to do what priests do when their lot
-
is drawn. He goes to the temple to burn incense in the temple before
-
the presence of the Lord. This is Craig Gray because burning incense is actually
-
an expression of worship being lifted. And what I want you to see is
-
a picture of a man so faithful to God he worshiped when he didn't get
-
what he wanted. I'm trying to see who's looking offended. I'm coming for
-
you. I'm coming for you. These people that we are producing in the
-
church that only praise when they get their way. They only worship when it's
-
been a good week. You hadn't even had a good breakthrough till you know
-
how to throw your hands up when hell broke loose all week long, when
-
it looked like nothing good was coming out of the week, when it looked
-
like have a report your God was a bad report, And you come to
-
church and nobody had to beg you to praise God. Nobody had to beg
-
you to say Hallelujah. I walked up in here today to throw my hands
-
up in the face of my enemy and tell God, thank you for being
-
good, thank you for being good. If you made a decision to sit
-
down beside somebody who is a fair weather worshiper, they will not get on
-
your nerves. But if you made a mistake and sat down beside that church
-
mother who came through hell to get here today, and she had to deal
-
with wayward children and late deals, and she got all kind of mess and
-
crap happening in her life. I don't care about how you look at her
-
when she comes to the House of the Where are my worship Prince? I
-
feel like running in this bill? Where are the people who will not wait
-
on something to happen before? If he never does one more thing for me,
-
I will but ask me you are cut all. He went in and
-
began to worship at the altar of incense, and he's still without a child,
-
and he's still worshiping, and he has no child, and he's worshiping.
-
And they talk about him in the community and that Elizabeth can't have no
-
baby, and he's still worshiping, and you know what they did, And
-
he's still worshiping. And if they would have had Facebook and Instagram, they
-
would have been talking about him, or they must be something in their life.
-
Can't have no children. Oh, you sit there and talk to Pharisee.
-
I want to tell you right now, I came to praise God in
-
the midst of the congregation. I'm not praising him because every prayer I pray
-
God answered. I'm praising him because he's the King, and no matter what
-
happens in my life, naked, I came in, nicked, I go
-
out, blessed me for names. Alah, why don't somebody help me right
-
now? In spite of what you're going through, in spite of what's happening
-
in your life, you don't praise him just when you get your way.
-
You worship him because there's nobody like him. Please said that, I'm trying
-
to be a good steward of the time we have left. He goes into
-
worship, and in his worship he has an encounter. An angel shows up.
-
Some of y'all can't handle this one, but I'm gonna tell you your
-
worship will create an encounter. He's worshiping, offering up incense, and Gabriel
-
not just an angel, the one that stands in the very presence of God.
-
Isn't it amazing that worship will cause what was in God's presence to step
-
into your presence? And this angel comes in and says something profound and bizarre.
-
He says, I am an angel. I'm Gabriel, the angel that
-
stands in the presence of the Lord, and I came to tell you why
-
and you can go check me out. I know I look like a he'll
-
billy, but I know Greek. I'm an semi educated young man in the
-
Greek. The angel literally says to him, I heard the prayer you prayed.
-
Watch, but you're not praying it anymore. What have you asked for
-
that? Because it didn't happen quickly, you stop asking for it because I
-
came to interrupt your regular scheduled program and tell you God heard you. When
-
talk to me, Daniel. Daniel's on the river side for twenty one days,
-
fasting and praying, and he's trying to get a revelation. And he
-
doesn't know that while he's on riverbank praying and fasting, there's a war going
-
on in the heavens over the revelation, trying to get to Daniel. And
-
when the Angel shows up, the angel says something profound. Daniel, you
-
started praying twenty one days ago and I showed up today. But I need
-
you to hear me. Daniel, I hurt you the first time you prayed.
-
Well, if you heard me the first time I prayed. Where have
-
you been, mister Angel, I've been in a war with the Prince of
-
Persia who tried to steal what God was sending you. But I came because
-
of your words. Look at your neighbor, tell him he heard you.
-
Sometimes I got babies, and my three year old and my two year old.
-
Sometimes they pull on my legs, they scream. Yesterday I was out
-
by my pool and we were me and Me and Genesis and Asher were swimming,
-
and Asher came up to me. I want a popsicle. I want
-
a popsicle. Twenty four times the child said I want a popsicle. I
-
finally looked at him and says, son, I heard you. I heard
-
you the first time. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor he heards
-
you. And I want to freak you out. But he heard some prayers
-
you prayed, but you ain't praying no more. He keeps a record.
-
And just because it's a delayal does not mean the idea is a denial,
-
that this is not even what I'm here to preach. Let me just this
-
is just an introduction. I'm trying, you know, making me do stuff
-
here. Watch there are two reasons why I'm preaching this message. They hear
-
me. Watch when the angel said to Zachariah, I heard you, and
-
I'm fixing to give you a child. Can you imagine an old man hearing
-
the angel, Gabriel'll say, Elizabeth, get on home. It's time time.
-
Y'all. Y'all following me. I'm gonna give you a miracle, but
-
you've got to keep your intimacy. Y'all don't want me to talk about this,
-
but see, what we want is a miracle, and we want God
-
to birth things in our life, but we don't want to be intimate anymore.
-
I want to tell you, I don't care how religious you are.
-
I don't care how educated you are. I don't care where you came from
-
and who your mommy and your daddy is. If you don't have intimacy with
-
God, your womb will stay barren and your future will try up. You
-
gotta stay a lover home. Look at somebody, tell him stay intimate,
-
Stay intimate. You're getting ready to have a child. But you and Elizabeth
-
are gonna have to do something. And so he looks at the angel.
-
I'm expediting this. He looks at the angel and he says, how do
-
you expect me to believe this? And God said, oh, okay,
-
Okay, it's gonna be like that, So let me put a mute.
-
This is all in your Bible. You go read this at lunchtime today.
-
Let me put a mute spirit on you. Because your words are so profound
-
and powerful that if you can't speak in agreement with My plan. And this
-
is why all those people in the church they beat they beat us up.
-
Theologically, they say them word of faith people, them people who believe in
-
speaking and declaring the word of the Lord. They don't have an appreciation for
-
the sovereignty of God. I appreciate the sovereignty of God. I honor the
-
fact that God can do whatever he wants to do, whenever he wants to
-
do it, however he wants to do it. But I also know that
-
your words have the power of life and death. And if you can't speak
-
life over your own life, God up sure enough to put a silent treatment
-
on you for a season, so you don't curse your future. Look at
-
your neighbors, say, neighbor, whatever you do, don't curse your future.
-
So he goes home silent. Can you imagine a silent preacher. You
-
make your living preacher and they can't talk, and the Bible says that he
-
went home silent, and the people were waiting on him to come out,
-
and he came out and he couldn't talk. They thought he saw a vision.
-
Watch this, and he just simply says this. And sometime later Elizabeth
-
came with child. She's an older lady, watched this and they called her
-
baron. But I want to declare to you, barn, this is canceled.
-
Word of the Lord cancels the sentence of barrenness over your future. And
-
the reason I'm preaching this message in this house today is twofold. Let me
-
give you this, and I'm gonna wrap this thing up. I'm starting to
-
close. And somebody said, what does that mean? It means absolutely nothing.
-
Okay, this message is being preached this morning to this house and to
-
every person listening me. Number one, because the thing God wants to birth
-
through Elizabeth and Zechariah have to come before what God would birth through Mary.
-
Elizabeth belonged to an older generation, and the thing God was birthing through her
-
was needed before Mary, who was from a younger generation, would give birth
-
to the one she was going to carry. I need mothers and fathers and
-
grandmas and Grandpa's in Israel to catch this. There is a generational thing happening
-
in the earth, and God is wanting to wake up some wounds that seem
-
baron because there's a whole generation of sons and daughters waiting on permission to give
-
birth to the thing God is trying to produce through them. You don't believe
-
me, go read the story the Bible said when Mary. When Mary got
-
her visitation, shortly after Elizabeth and Zechariah had their visitation, the angel came
-
to Mary and said, you're gonna give birth to Jesus and you and your
-
family member. Elizabeth is six months pregnant. When the angel got through prophesying
-
to her, she hopped about the bed and ran to the hill country to
-
see if her family member was with a child. Why Because Mary said,
-
this thing sounds too hard. But if God gave my baron act a baby,
-
then God can give me. You need the Lord of the Lord.
-
You don't understand this, Mom and Daddy, But the faithfulness of God in
-
your generation is permission for the next generation to believe God. That's why there's
-
some people in this room. I feel the hole that goes on me right
-
now. There are some people in this room that broke the curse of poverty
-
over your family tree, and your children are what you be blessed. I
-
want you to know that if you think what God did for you as a
-
miracle, wait till he takes your son and daughter tuch somebody and tell him
-
he is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. What he started in
-
Abraham, he will not finish it in Abraham. He'll do it in Isaac
-
and Jacob. I'm preaching a number one because there's a generational release coming.
-
The second reason I'm preaching this, don't miss this is because John the Baptist,
-
the one which Elizabeth was carrying, was in his arrival was intended to
-
make an announcement about who Jesus was. The arrival of Jesus could not have
-
properly been inaugurated had it not been for the coming of John the Baptist.
-
Here's what I'm trying to tell you. You are not Elizabeth, and what
-
you're gonna give birth to is not John the Baptist. But there is a
-
paradigm here. There is a model for our consideration. Here. What God
-
is trying to give birth through your life is about to make an announcement about
-
the goodness of God and the power of God and the person and the work
-
of Jesus Christ. You are not just some little church member having some church
-
experience. You are a child of the Living God and the Christ. There's
-
too race from the dead lives in you. And when He finishes what he
-
started in your life, it will announce the power of Jesus to your generation.
-
I think some of y'all think, my God, he is too intense
-
a preacher. Yes, and he said he yesterday he said to me,
-
have you ever drunk a five hour energy before you preach? I looked at
-
him and said, fool. If I drank a five hour energy before I
-
drink it would be a hostage situation for the people of God. I'm he's
-
my best friend. He's not a fool. Okay. Watch this message is
-
significant because you are going to carry something in your spirit that when God releases
-
it in the fullness of time, it will make an announcement about the faithfulness
-
of Jesus that explains why you've been fighting some stuff. Lord, I preach
-
a message called birthing building in Brodney growth warfare in a birthing season can I
-
tell you what Satan does in a birthing season. In a birthing season,
-
come on, talk to me Moses. When Moses was a baby, that
-
spirit got on Pharaoh and he tried to kill everything in Israel. That go
-
talk to me Jesus. When Jesus was born, that spirit got on Herod
-
and he tried to kill all of the babies being born. Why in a
-
birthing season. Oh yeah, you don't think that's enough. Roll over the
-
Revelation nineteen. The Bible said, when the woman was on the delivery table
-
trying to give birth to the sun, the dragon was at the foot of
-
the bed, trying to kill what was about to come out of the lady.
-
Church, hear me, what God is birthing through you for this nation
-
in this hour. Hell doesn't want it to happen. But I dare you
-
the shop because no weapon formed. Again, why don't you swap your neighbor
-
and say, neighbor, it shall be done. Okay, okay, okay,
-
that was okay, that was rough. That was rough, but you
-
survived. You survived. I'm getting to the last points. Here's the great,
-
great thing. It comes to the moment of birthing. And all of
-
a sudden, some folk who were not there in her barrenness showed up during
-
the birth. I'm getting ready, I'm getting ready. I'm getting ready to
-
say a thing. The cousins showed up at a birthing moment. You better
-
watch people. You better watch people who were not there to help you carry
-
it, but are trying to control it. Get the car warmed up for
-
it. I heard the Holy Ghost say this to me while I was preparing
-
to preach this message. He said, tell TC and tell Pastor Mike and
-
the leadership, be careful that you don't listen to people who want to control
-
what they didn't help you carry. I want to release a real big dose.
-
I've talked to the hand. Well. You know, they just so
-
many lights there, They just so much sound there. They're just so many
-
young people that they don't. Oh, shut up and sit down. You
-
weren't there when we were walking through hell and high water. You don't know
-
what we went through. You don't know how many tears we cried. You
-
don't know what they said and how long they've been said it. Now,
-
let me tell you something, TC. You gotta love your neighbors and love
-
your cousins. Invite them to the baby shower, but don't let them control
-
what they didn't help you carry. The last time, I recall when God
-
called a church. It wasn't a conference call. It wouldn't let me get
-
up everybody's opinion about my assignment. When God gives you an assignment, it
-
is which way I got. Okay, okay, that was. That was.
-
That was the first point. We're done with that one. Here's the
-
second thing. God said to me. Beware watch this the old thank you
-
Lord. The aunties and the cousins and the friends came in at birthing time,
-
and they said, call that thing junior Zacharya. But Junior clone it.
-
I'm getting ready to drop bombs. Clone it. And here's what I
-
want to warn you, TC. Beware of religion people. If they can't
-
clone you, they disown you. I'm leaving after disservice. I don't care
-
hate on me. All you wanting. I'm preaching this thing. I got
-
a mic and a monitor. We're going for it. We're going for it.
-
We God for it. Beware of pharisees, Beware of people who might
-
even mean, well, I'm talking to you about your future. Do you
-
understand this. If given to me, I'm old. I'm a dinosaur.
-
I told one of y'all's workers, is my I'm a dinosaur. I'm an
-
old man. I'm forty four years old. I was raising the old Holiness
-
Church. If my son wouldn't have helped dress me, I'd have had a
-
three piece suit in a town with us. You don't know you messing with
-
the wrong man. I'll come up here and holler in a three piece suit
-
and sweat till the armpits fall out of it. Hallelujah. My whole family
-
helped dress me this morning. Come on in here, somebody. But can
-
I tell you something. My sons don't dress in a three piece suit.
-
My spiritual sons don't have to look like me to carry the oil that I've
-
released on their life. Too many times in the church, we want to
-
clone our sons and daughters. And if we can't make them look just like
-
us, if we can't clone them, we disown them. Let me talk
-
to some people who weren't born and raised in church like me, some people
-
who just got saved three weeks ago. And you wonder, what is this?
-
I feel, what is going on in this room? Why do I
-
like it when I come on this property. And then and then some people
-
found out, Oh they're a little different down there. You've got to be
-
careful. They say that about my church too. Let me tell you what
-
they're trying to tell you. What they're trying to tell you is you go
-
to a church that does things differently than the church they're going to, and
-
they're jealous you're not going to their church. They're trying to make you feel
-
bad and shame you in some kind of way. Let me help you.
-
Keep your eyes on Jesus and don't let nobody clone you. Look at your
-
neighbor and inform them like you, no, this is true. Tell him
-
I love you, but I will not let you clone me. Can I
-
break this down real quick? I know I gotta let you go, But
-
can I break this down real quick? Can I tell you three differences between
-
Zechariah and his son. Number One, he had a different diet. His
-
daddy ate kosher food. John the Baptists come about the wilderness eating locus and
-
wild honey. Whoever ate locus and wild honey? If you are different,
-
don't try to eat what everybody else is consuming. There is a generation tired
-
of consuming death. They want something that is full of life. Okay,
-
well they see number two. John the Baptists had on different duds, three
-
d's I do all things in the literation Glory to God. His diet was
-
different, His duds were different. His daddy wore a priest garment. John
-
the Baptists tried that on one time. In my mind's eye, I can
-
see him, Daddy. This ain't me. So what did he go?
-
Put on? Cammel? Here? A big old tunic just didn't look polished.
-
Can you be more sophisticated? You're trying to represent Zachariah and his family
-
and them. Can you be more sophisticated. That's the problem. We are
-
trying to preserve a religious order rather than watch release a manifestation of the kingdom.
-
Okay, John the Baptists die. It was different, His duds were
-
different. But the most important thing about John the Baptist is his declaration was
-
different. His daddy was trying to maintain an old order. John the Baptist
-
did not come saying Jewish polity, Jewish structure. John the Baptist came preaching
-
the Kingdom of God is at hand. There is a reason why we don't
-
understand a fresh generation God is raising up who have a new declaration in their
-
mouth. They are not in the church to maintain the old order. They
-
are in the church for such a time as this to announce the king is
-
coming and it's time to declare the Kingdom of God. And some people listen,
-
it's not in this room necessarily, But I'm telling you what we're dealing
-
with in this nation. We don't have an understanding of the Kingdom. In
-
the Church America. We are more known by our culture than the kingdom to
-
which we belong. Well, he white, but he don't say or white.
-
You know what I like about this place. You can't look down one
-
aisle and tell me that's a white church, that's a black church, that's
-
his because every I've got a little bit of all of us. Okay,
-
I'm leaving in about five minutes. But assuming here on this face to hell
-
with the spirit of division. I said to cow with this, there is
-
no white church, there is no Black church, there is no Hispanic church.
-
But there is a Kingdom Church, and the King of Glories that long
-
night socks back. Somebody gonna tell talks up the walls of division of coming
-
down. The kingdom is on the moon, The kingdom is on the mountain.
-
If I'm done, I really I'm done. I think. I think.
-
If you're gonna carry it all that time, if you're gonna stretch over
-
it, if you're gonna have them contractions, if you're gonna have those pains,
-
if you're gonna wake up in the middle of the night your legs hurting.
-
Come on, sisters, talk to me here. If you're gonna go
-
through all that and carry God's promise in your life, whatever you do when
-
you get to birthing time, don't let your cousins name your baby. Stand
-
with me all over this room, police right now. Very different message than
-
I would have anticipated preaching at my first trip to such an amazing place.
-
But we don't have time to play some kind of games, call to some
-
godobo shit. This house has an assignment. Do y'all speak in tongues here?
-
Because I just spoke in tongues I should have asked, because I got
-
that kind of hole. That ghosty it don't give you a warning. He
-
does something. You have an assignment. TC. You're not just young and
-
hip and cool and that's all good, but you are assigned to a generation
-
who are tired of fighting through all of the religious red tape. They just
-
want to know where is that man you've been preaching about. I heard y'all
-
say that he could deliver, and I heard somebody say he could provide,
-
and I heard somebody say he could set me free. And Jules, can
-
you shift and just go to a piano for a moment. I want to
-
prophesy before I go take my seat, that what you have seen, and
-
this is heavy to say to a church who's seen so many miracles, what
-
you have seen is preparatory. The best is still yet to come. I
-
need some worshippers to throw a hand up in the air in your personal life
-
business, a businessman, sister, businesswoman, what you've seen has been powerful,
-
but it's only been preparatory. When I was thirty six years old,
-
a miracle happened in our church. I don't have time to tell it.
-
In the worst economy in American history two thousand and eight, when the bubble
-
popped and nobody was lending money, I launched a capitol campaign. Our church
-
was exploding. I didn't know what to do. I talked to five bankers.
-
They said we can't lend you no money. Nobody lending churches money right
-
now. And I've got a little bit of gem. The hallway in that
-
gym was six feet wide by about twelve feet long, doing two and three
-
services, and people crowded and had no parking. And I'm trying to borrow
-
three million dollars to build a building. I found one old bank in our
-
city, in our community, and the vice president walked in and he was
-
a Baptist deacon. I didn't even know the Holy Ghost talked to Baptist deacons.
-
I'm just kidding. He walked in and when he sat down in my
-
office, he said these words to me, I feel God in this place.
-
I said, me too, Me too, I feel We borrowed three
-
million dollars built that sanctuary, And week before we were about to start paying
-
principal and interest on it, I felt so stupid. Everybody was saying,
-
Wallace, came, leave, you build a building. In this economy.
-
People ain't giving banks, ain't lending money. You are crazy. And the
-
week before we started paying I don't tell this story, I'm telling it for
-
somebody in this room right now. The week before we started paying principal and
-
interest. A man sat down with me I never met before in my life.
-
He looked at me and he said, what are your debts and what
-
are your dreams? I knew them all right there and before that lunch got
-
through at a PF change. That's why I can't go to PF chains without
-
shouting and falling out on the floor. Watch before that lunch got through,
-
that man wired our church four and a half million dollars. I had never
-
met him before in my life. Now you looking at me, you're saying,
-
what did you do for that? I didn't do anything except stay in
-
place, stay in order, and stayed in the game. I wanted to
-
quit. I didn't even know I was gonna tell this story, and I
-
certainly didn't think about my buddy being with me. I got six children.
-
My youngest birth's son is here, Isaiah. Wave your hand, baby,
-
that's my Isaiah right there. Listen to me. He was eight years old
-
when that happened. Ten years old when that happened. And we were driving
-
down the road one day. I looked in the rearview mirror. He looked
-
at me and he said, Daddy, God's gonna give us a million dollars
-
every time he said it. I got mad at him. Four different times
-
in the building process of that church. He looked at me and prophesied and
-
said, Daddy, God's gonna give us four God's gonna give us a million
-
dollars. The day that man wired that money to our church, I went
-
and got him out of school. He said, where are we going,
-
daddy. I said, We're going wherever you want to go. Son,
-
ten years old. I looked in the rearview mirror. Tears were coming down
-
my face. I said, baby, you know what God did today?
-
He said, no, what happened? I said, God gave us four
-
and a half million dollars. Did you know what that son said to me?
-
He looked straight at his daddy in the rearview mirror. He said,
-
I told you, daddy, Hey, I'm coming back to TC in the
-
future. And when I come back to somebody gonna look at me and say,
-
you told us you. Try to tell us Pession looking for a man
-
by I tell him, I told you, I followed you. I tell
-
him don len yarn consents name yard bade somebody holler, if you know you've
-
got a future, take your neighbor mother hand, please something's happening. Something
-
wonderful is happening. Something powerful is happening. Jesus, it's happening. Whoo,
-
something's happening. Something glory us is happening. Something more for us is
-
happening. I declare it over this house and every house connected to this house.
-
If you need this message and you believe God has something in store for
-
your future, I want you to lightless squeeze on your neighbor's hand right now.
-
I needed this message today. I needed this message. Just a light
-
squeeze. Let him know that I caught it. I received that he was
-
talking to me. If somebody squeezed your hand, I want you to start
-
praying for your neighbor right now. Come on, open up your mouth and
-
bless your neighbor. Open up your open up your mouth. Don't just think
-
a prayer. I want you to decree. Father, you're gonna bring it
-
to pass. You're gonna surely finish what you started. You're going to bring
-
every promise to pass over their life, and nothing will hinder it. God,
-
don't let them let their cousins name their baby God. I pray for
-
a faithfulness to the assignment that was started in their life and at the end
-
of the day made Jesus receive all the glory for what comes out of their
-
life. If you believe in God that your best days ahead and now,
-
shoot both hands up, Shoot both hands up. If you believe personally and
-
corporatelyd de old Shata that your best days are ahead of you for this house
-
and for your house, throw both hands up and begin to worship Jesus as
-
he gets all involved in your tomorrow. Come on, Father, take control,
-
take control. Bless every house. I rebuke the heaviness coming against them.
-
I come against the attack that's been trying to stop them. In the
-
name of Jesus, I release blessing by faith all over this room, everybody
-
watching me online today, I decree and I declare that what you have started,
-
Oh God, you will finish in every one of their lives. I
-
thank you that discouragement, disappointment, heaviness is breaking off of them today,
-
and you will finish what you started. Lord. Whatever you're doing in the
-
season, don't do it how you'm about Shinda Deosa without me. I gotta
-
go sit down, but I feel something happening in this room. Don't do
-
it without me making a prayer before we pray for the loss today. Come
-

-
do it without me. Don't make it a prayer. Throw your hands up
-
and sing a family, Lord, whatever you're doing. See somebody said,
-

-
saying inside non transfer makes a short, So tell it. Tell me sak
-
a one more time. You can have your will and your way in my
-
life, Lord said one more time. Everbody say, come on worship us.
-
If you believe that the best is selling out to cover my faults,
-
I say one more time, everybody to say that. Oh, if you're
-
in this room, HiT's about Isaac Closed hearts are being searched right now.
-
And if you would say, Bishop, I need Jesus to come into my
-
life and I need them to save me and make things right, forgive me,
-
get me cleaned up and turn my life around. HiT's about Isaclo.
-
I don't care how far away from God you think you are. If you
-
want to say yes to Christ this morning and you want him to be the
-
lord of your life, I don't care if you've been to church or never
-
been to church. If you want to say yes to Jesus when I say
-
three, shoot your hand up and say passing, Kevin, pray for me.
-
I want to get right with God. One, two, three,
-
right now, anybody at all, Lord, have mercy. If your hand
-
is how mory it should be, come on out of your seat and come
-
meet me right here. Come on, all over this wilding. I want
-
God to change my life. I want you to come out of your seat,
-
come meet me right here. Come on, don't do it without me.
-
Thank you for coming. They're coming, They're coming, They're coming,
-
They're coming here. Whatever you're getting, somebody give God prays with sivace and
-
today with with that ol man, God, do me. Somebody give y'all
-
praise for salvation. Cut out, don't do it. Where the job.
-
Don't do it without me? No, No, wave your hand and ask
-
him one more time. Don't do it. Don't do Stretch your hands towards
-
this altar right now. People are still coming. Can I just get some
-
prayer leaders to come stand behind them or beside them or front of them.
-
How are you doing here? I want everyone to stretch your hand toward this
-
altar right now, And I want you to pray for them like you wish
-
somebody would have prayed for you the first day you gave your heart to Jesus.
-
Father, I thank you for the promise of the power in the blood
-
of Jesus. That because Jesus you died and rose again, and you shed
-
holy blood so that we could have sins forgiven, you gave your life and
-
exchanged for ours. And today, because you died in rose, we rise
-
with you, Jesus. So I stretch my hands toward every one of these
-
brothers and sisters who come to this altar, and with the love of God
-
surrounding them, the peace of God blanketing them, and the grace of God
-
covering them, I declare they will not leave this altar the same way they
-
came in Jesus' name, had the cross, at the cross where I first
-
saw his light and the bird, and not my heart roll away. It
-
was here by faith that I received my spiritual side. And now I am
-
happy. Father, thank you for saving and forgiving and releasing people from their
-
burdens. Today salvation has come to this house, and we are thankful that
-
this altar is full of people who are now coming into the Kingdom of God,
-
and we welcome them into the Kingdom as they confess with their mouth that
-
Jesus is Lord, as they turn from their past and turn toward their future
-
in Christ. Today we declare them to be citizens of the Kingdom of God.
-
Somebody helped me welcome them, as Pastor Charles comes, somebody help me
-
welcome them into the Kingdom of God. Oh, come on, can we
-
celebrate people who just made the decision? And while you're at it, can
-
you thank God for that word? For Bishop Kevin Wallace, can you thank
-
God for that word if it blessed you? My goodness, my goodness.
-
Well, hey, listen, I want to say to everybody down here,
-
I'm so proud of you. Best decision you could ever make. The first
-
thing I want you to do. If you're in here and you gave your
-
life to Jesus, I want you to tell somebody. If you're standing up
-
here, there's somebody behind you you can tell. Don't leave without telling somebody.
