  1. Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to

  2. the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so

  3. glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe

  4. God will transform your life. Do today's message.

  5. Well, today, I want you to get out your Bibles

  6. and your notepads because we are in week two of

  7. a series we're calling somebody help me say receipts. We

  8. are talking about the proof of our relationship with God

  9. being in the fruit that we actually display. And I

  10. am convinced that church people would have to do less

  11. talking if they acted different. You wouldn't have to talk

  12. about how we need.

  13. To as a church do this.

  14. If we was already just being generous everywhere we went,

  15. if we were already displaying patience and joy and love

  16. and kindness whenever we were faced with opposition, they wouldn't

  17. know we have been with God. Cause in my flesh,

  18. I slap you are y'all gonna be fake with me?

  19. Right now, Somebody's like, I didn't say nothing, because I

  20. already's laughed them.

  21. No, this is what I'm saying in my flesh.

  22. I want to go back to appeal to the nature

  23. that rejects God. But when I am led by the spirit,

  24. somebody say, I will be led by the spirit. Then

  25. the spirit produces these kinds of fruits in your life,

  26. and we find that in Galatians five twenty two. So

  27. for the next nine to ten to some odd weeks

  28. rest of the year, I'm gonna be walking us.

  29. Through actually how to get proof in our.

  30. Life without talking that God is in our life right.

  31. So I need you to take real notes.

  32. I don't need you to just sit there like you

  33. gotta figure it out, because the tu for the matter

  34. is you don't. Because until Jesus comes back and gets us,

  35. or we meet him in the sky, we will all

  36. be working out our salvation. And if you don't get

  37. in watch this a position of humility. You will listen

  38. to the thing that God wants for you and think

  39. it's for somebody else. I can't tell you how many

  40. people right now are listening to me. And when I

  41. start talking about this, you're gonna think about somebody else

  42. and God saying you may not be where I want

  43. you to be in that area. You should listen to

  44. how I'm trying to refine, produce and transform you today.

  45. And so I want everybody's hearts to be open, because

  46. today I want you to get some more fruit. I

  47. want you to have receipts for what God has done

  48. in your life Galatians five point twenty two. But the

  49. fruit of the spirit is help me love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,

  50. goodn uh uh. We gotta y'all ain't read in school

  51. together your patience. We gonna sing, we gonna say this

  52. allowed strong, okay. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace,

  53. come on, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness.

  54. And self country.

  55. Against these things, there is no watch this limit. It says,

  56. no law. But what a law is is a limit.

  57. What the Bible is saying is I will not let

  58. there be a limit on your love, if you would

  59. allow it to erupt in you. I won't let that

  60. watch this be a limit on your piece if you

  61. would allow me to work that fruit on the inside

  62. of you. And today I need to talk about how

  63. important I think the most important fruit is. Because most

  64. people want me to do this in sequential order. You

  65. want me to talk about love today, and I kind

  66. of wanted to talk about love.

  67. But the truth of the matter is some of y'all ain't.

  68. Gonna allow love to actually take root in your heart

  69. because it takes time to transform. And some of us

  70. are so ready to get to where we're supposed to be,

  71. or we want to be, or where we think we

  72. should be, that we will not let God do the

  73. work on the inside of us. And so when I

  74. begin to look at the nine fruits of the Spirit,

  75. I begin to say, which fruit do we need to

  76. accomplish all the other ones? Which fruit if we could

  77. just get this one would allow us the opportunity to

  78. actually be processed long enough to develop the other fruits.

  79. Because it's not the magic trick of the spirit. It's

  80. something that has to be produced.

  81. That means, it's.

  82. Something that takes time, something that has to be watered, cultivated.

  83. Work through, transformed.

  84. So today I'm talking about the.

  85. Fruit of the spirit of can you guess it? Patience?

  86. Uh huh. Some of y'all was like, payt God, patience, God.

  87. Get Why is that?

  88. Though?

  89. Like for real?

  90. Like, if I said, does anybody need more love, Everybody's like, oh, yes, love.

  91. Anybody want to live in joy? Oh Josh jo j.

  92. I got that juge that matter. If I said peace,

  93. it's like, oh my God, I just want more peace.

  94. But patience is.

  95. The thing that you know eludes our prayer list a lot.

  96. I don't know about you, but I don't come to

  97. God all the time. But be like Lord and today

  98. just working me patience, cause I know patience takes other stuff.

  99. It's not something I just received. It's something I gotta

  100. walk through.

  101. To get patience.

  102. I don't just get it, I gotta go get it.

  103. And so when I start to think about the fruit

  104. of the spirit of patience, and I went back to

  105. why I don't like patience? Can I be that honest

  106. right now? Why I don't ask the Holy Spirit to

  107. develop patience in me is because I know this gonna

  108. kill my flesh. Y'all sitting up here acting like you

  109. like waiting. Where are all the people that gonna be

  110. real with me that hate waiting? Can you cause this

  111. is what we need God to stand in.

  112. She stood up? Sit down? Okay.

  113. But this is what I found out because I begin

  114. to think about how it was introduced to waiting or

  115. to patience, and it's attached to waiting, and most of

  116. the time it's a negative connotation. When I was young,

  117. ah ah, wait, you cannot have.

  118. Deserved before your meal.

  119. Hah, wait you're not tall enough to get on this ride.

  120. Wait ah, you don't have your driver's permit. Get out

  121. the driver's seat, sit in the back.

  122. Think about how we were introduced to waiting. It's the

  123. law of first mention in our life, or the first

  124. becomes the foundation. And so many times how we're introduced

  125. to something depending on how you were raised, where you

  126. were at, who your parents were, Waiting had a negative

  127. connotation before you even had a choice to be able

  128. to look at it differently.

  129. No, sit down and wait.

  130. Till I get done shopping. Okay, I want you to,

  131. for real think about how you were introduced to waiting.

  132. Most of us, it was negative. So today I'm coming

  133. to reverse a paradigm or a way of thinking that

  134. has been in your mind so that you can see

  135. that patience is not watch this a punishment.

  136. Point number one.

  137. Patience isn't a punishment. Out of all of the things

  138. that God says, I want you to have.

  139. Receipts or fruit for this in.

  140. Your life, he could have used anything, and one of

  141. the main ingredients is patience. So God does not see

  142. patience as a negative.

  143. He actually sees.

  144. It as watch this necessary that anybody that is actually

  145. gonna walk out what he's called them to are in

  146. this life is going to need this receipt at all times.

  147. And your life is pretty miserable when you do.

  148. Not have patience because everybody on your nurse. Oh, y'all,

  149. stop playing everybody on your nurse. When you call somebody,

  150. depending on how many rings it is, what are they doing.

  151. I just text them and told them I was gonna

  152. call them.

  153. I'm on the fourth ring. Don't let us talk about food.

  154. You got your grub Hub pre ordered for four days

  155. from now. I don't want to wait.

  156. I don't want Okay, when we get into that space,

  157. what it is doing, watch this is slowly desensitizing us

  158. to a spiritual character trait that the Holy Spirit wants

  159. to develop in us. And our culture is working Christ's

  160. character out of us. Did you hear what I just said?

  161. Our culture, my kids do not even have to wait

  162. for a show to come on. Some of y'all don't

  163. know like me neither. Some of y'all ain't old enough

  164. to understand. When you wanted to watch a show, you

  165. had to Back in the day, you couldn't just go

  166. to an app and pick whatever season you had to

  167. catch it, and you.

  168. Missed the beginning all the time. I'll shoot, I ain't

  169. even know what was on my kids now, like season.

  170. Six, episode fifteen, Cat in the Hat. Though it may

  171. be fine for technology, is it okay for your transformation?

  172. Okay?

  173. Patience is not a punishment. Can you say it with me?

  174. Patience is not a punished Just one more time.

  175. Patience is not a.

  176. What if just dream with me that you could look

  177. at patients as your pleasure, Like what I'm not saying

  178. you there now because I'm not, But what if using

  179. patience was a pleasure for you?

  180. Sir?

  181. We can't see you for another forty five minutes. That's fine,

  182. I'll wait. You know, you know, people that have patients

  183. are usually people that have their needs met. People who

  184. do not have their needs met are in a hurry

  185. and a rush and trying to Sorry, sir, the plane

  186. will be delayed for three hours. My pleasure to sit

  187. in this airport and wait with all of these germs.

  188. Now now, watch, now, watch.

  189. It's a matter of perspective because if they're telling you

  190. you have to wait for the three hours because one of

  191. the wings was faulty, you.

  192. Know what take all the time?

  193. You know what my cousin is a mechanic hold on Jerome.

  194. I'm here at.

  195. A about the call of airline.

  196. Let me stop.

  197. If you knew the consequences of not waiting, you might

  198. think about it differently.

  199. If you had to have an a.

  200. Invasive surgery and they said, well, we have an intern

  201. here that has seen this surgery on video and he

  202. can do it. Or the doctor will be here in

  203. about forty five minutes. He got stuck in traffic.

  204. Charlie.

  205. Sorry, I'm glad you're here, but I'm waiting on, doctor Karakian.

  206. What if waiting was my my pleasure? Okay, I'm just

  207. trying to introduce you to a different way of thinking it.

  208. Patience is not negative.

  209. It's practical for you reaching your promise. Because anything that

  210. God has up ahead of you that is big, it's

  211. gonna take a process to get there.

  212. And most of us are quitting.

  213. Because we don't like waiting. Okay, So, Pastor Michael, I

  214. need you to tell me today the quickest way to

  215. develop patience. I got you, I got you. I'm gonna

  216. tell you the quickest way. Get your notepad ready to

  217. get your fault. Ready, I'm about to tell you the

  218. quickest way to develop patience in your life. I'm founder

  219. ge Code point one. Waiting you wanna develop patience, Waiting

  220. is the way. Waiting is the way, why, pastor Mike,

  221. Because patience needs a process. If you want to develop patience,

  222. God's always gonna hand you a process. And this is

  223. now why we have to understand the pattern of our God.

  224. The reason I read the Bible is because I get

  225. to understand his patterns. Like I'm not so thrown off

  226. because I'm not the only one that had to go

  227. through this. So when I think back in the Bible

  228. that God is using these amazing men and women of God,

  229. he always put them in process.

  230. Noah could have just had.

  231. A boat show up at his house, but God made

  232. him take the wood and build the boat. He put

  233. him in a process. Abraham in his old age could

  234. have just been given a child, or adopted a child,

  235. or taken a son. But God said, I'm gonna give

  236. you a promised child and the nations will be blessed

  237. out of you, and then made him wait for twenty

  238. five years.

  239. He put him in.

  240. A a process where he waited so long that he

  241. got one of his concubines and his wife got together

  242. and made a plan and made seven thing illegitimate because

  243. they thought God had forgot.

  244. Even Jesus. Jesus could have.

  245. Straight to the cross, down grown man.

  246. Full beard, hair like wool.

  247. I am Jesus, nail me to the cross.

  248. He said, I'm not gonna do it like that.

  249. I'm gonna let him be born into a manger, and

  250. I'm gonna let him live for thirty I'm gonna put

  251. him in a proth.

  252. I'm gonna make.

  253. Him be able to go to the synagogue. And then

  254. at twelve he gonna disrespect his mama because he didn't

  255. tell him where she was going. We don't hear for

  256. him for eighteen years, and at thirty three he shows

  257. back up as a carpenter. He went through a What

  258. I'm trying to let everybody know is that God is

  259. gonna put you in a process to develop patients. I

  260. thought about one of my favorite dishes. It's mac and cheese.

  261. How many people love macaroni and cheese? Okay, let me

  262. ask this question. How many people can cook macaroni and cheese?

  263. Half of y'all are lying, But the only way I

  264. thought I could cook macaroni and cheese here on the

  265. platform was quickly, and you saying no, but you ain't

  266. got no pots, you ain't got no pants.

  267. And if I wanted mac.

  268. And cheese in this moment, oh man, this looks delectable.

  269. I'm going to put this in what is quick for

  270. three minutes and thirty seconds. This is what a lot

  271. of our patients looks like. Let me just go through

  272. this quick process, real quick, and it might not be

  273. as good, but it'll get the job done. It'll work.

  274. How many of us have been living below what.

  275. God has for us because we've been just saying, well,

  276. it'll work. They're not the man of virtue that I'm

  277. supposed to be with, but they're here.

  278. It'll work.

  279. This is not the job or the purpose or the

  280. thing God.

  281. Showed me, but.

  282. It work.

  283. And what if I tried to convince you that this

  284. was very valuable. What if I tried to make you

  285. pay thirty seven dollars for this gourmet hand crafted and

  286. when I say hand I'll put it in the microwave

  287. of my hand macaroni and cheese, you would walk away

  288. because it is a cheap counterfeit for something that you know,

  289. could be so much better if it had watched this

  290. word time. Thanksgiving is coming up, and the one thing

  291. that my wife is a excellent assassin in making. She's

  292. an assassin, is cracking cheese. We don't even call it

  293. mac and cheese. It's addictive, probably not a politically correct name,

  294. but it works in.

  295. The Todd household.

  296. And I don't know if I got like thirty minutes

  297. left in this message, and if there was somebody who

  298. was a master at cooking, I.

  299. Would rather wait.

  300. For something that has gone through a process then settle

  301. for something I can have right now. Is there a

  302. chef in the house, Chef Tiffany? Are you?

  303. Are you with us? Chef Tiffany? Could you?

  304. I don't know. They told me somebody was at a kitchen.

  305. There you go, everybody, say what's.

  306. Up to Chef Tiffany.

  307. Okay, Chef Tiffany right now is in the back and

  308. represent scratched kitchen. We just made that up and her

  309. and Bubba are actually working on what y'all working on

  310. back there?

  311. Mac and cheese.

  312. Yeah, we got some smoke, good to mac and cheese.

  313. We got some garlic, butter herb chicken.

  314. We got some Brussels sprouts, and we also have a

  315. peach cobblood.

  316. I want to say glory to the most hot god, Chef, Tiffany.

  317. We're gonna check back with you in a little bit.

  318. You gonna do your thumb this isle, and I'm gonna

  319. wait out here with the people, and then I'm coming back.

  320. There to get me a bike.

  321. Amen.

  322. Why would I settle?

  323. Ooh? Now they call this the cheese mix. What is this?

  324. I don't know if this came from a cown.

  325. And how many believers are walking around somebody said, don't

  326. eat it? How many people are walking around with a

  327. mixture that has no authentic ingredients. This is why when

  328. they taste us, when they see us in our job place,

  329. when they see us at the game, when they see

  330. how we post, they're just like, this can't be so.

  331. The title of today's sermon is watch.

  332. This, let him cook. Let him cook. If the Master Chef,

  333. our savior, our God, gets his hand on your situation,

  334. don't rush him.

  335. In the process.

  336. Be patient and let him cook. I'm about to get happy.

  337. Some of the things that.

  338. You need in your relationship, in your marriage, in your heart.

  339. It's not coming quick. I am sorry. To tell you

  340. twenty twenty five will not be the year everything God

  341. said comes to you.

  342. They don't want to hear that.

  343. God, Dog, I just lost half the crowd.

  344. Do you want me to lie to you?

  345. Twenty twenty five You will see miracles, but it may

  346. not be the whole thing, because if He gave it.

  347. To you all at one time, it might destroy you.

  348. God.

  349. Okay, somebody say let him cook. When I look that

  350. up in the very sophisticated Urban Dictionary, it means to

  351. let somebody do something they're good at because it's going

  352. to become better for you if you let them have

  353. watch this the time. What does that mean? If somebody

  354. that is a master needs time to do something.

  355. That means you have to wait and waiting write.

  356. This definition down is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble,

  357. or suffering without getting angry or upset. So waiting, I'm

  358. gonna say it again, is the capacity to accept, tolerate,

  359. and tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.

  360. So the truth of the matter is some of us

  361. have not been waiting. We've just been complaining. Because it's

  362. only waiting if you're not upset and throwing ten potantrums

  363. and God saying how you wait matters. That's why in

  364. Romans eight twenty eight, you have to look at this

  365. through the lens of patient, it says. And we know

  366. that God, the master chef, is causing every ingredient of

  367. our life to work together for the good of those

  368. who love God and are called according to His purpose.

  369. So when I think about waiting on God, I gotta

  370. put my hope in who has their hands on the situation.

  371. And some of us are waiting aimlessly because God's not

  372. in it. You didn't hear what I just said. This

  373. was your idea, your plan, your mamaem plan for your life.

  374. You're waiting on something to happen that God never commissioned

  375. or ordained in your life. Well, I'm gonna be. I'm

  376. gonna be.

  377. I'm gonna be an entrepreneur and dud.

  378. It do you in dipoo pooh? My question is, did

  379. you do Proverbs three, five and six acknowledge God in

  380. all of your ways? Did you bring it back to

  381. him so that he could say yeah? But kind of

  382. like this, and many of us are frustrated because we.

  383. Are waiting on something.

  384. Watch this God never promised. I'm in your business, and

  385. I need you to hear me say this very clearly.

  386. God is not committed.

  387. To the promises you made yourself in an emotional state

  388. while listening to worship music. You wrote it down in

  389. a journal, but he never said it. You saw it

  390. on somebody else's Instagram, but he never instructed it for you.

  391. And now, because.

  392. Of mismanaged expectations, you are mad at God, frustrated with

  393. your present, and ready to give up because your hope

  394. is in something that will never happen because he didn't

  395. say it.

  396. All right, let me keep moving.

  397. Let me get back to my notes, But the Holy

  398. Spirit wanted you to know He is not on a

  399. condition based. I want to say it with love in

  400. my heart because it is love, because I get sad

  401. when people get frustrated at God. But it's because, well,

  402. I'm not married yet. He didn't say at twenty two

  403. you were getting married. You said that.

  404. You made that.

  405. So since two, you're twenty nine now, and God, instead

  406. of looking at that seven years as a blessing of development,

  407. you have been in misery because your own idea did

  408. not match up with God's instructions for your life. I

  409. can't tell you how many pastors are pastoring a church

  410. that is at the brink of going down because they were.

  411. Actually supposed to.

  412. Partner with another church, but their pride did not let

  413. them be able to submit in a place.

  414. They had to be a man of God.

  415. M A. N. D. They have to be the man

  416. of God, and so now.

  417. They're managing so much smaller than they should be.

  418. Okay, tysor Mike, why are you saying this point number two?

  419. Waiting seems whack. I'm gonna give you a Michael Todd point.

  420. Waiting seems wack, but patience produces. Watch this power. Waiting

  421. seems whack. Every time I got to wait, it seems whack.

  422. But the whole time I'm waiting, God's working. The whole

  423. time I'm waiting. Say it with me, God's working. What

  424. you do not see is the most beautiful and powerful

  425. part of our God is every time it looks like

  426. a closed door, you don't see the door that just

  427. cracked open. Every time it looks like they walked away,

  428. God said they could not fit in this next room.

  429. I'm taking you into.

  430. The power of God is always working while we are waiting.

  431. That's why it may seem whack. But power is being produced.

  432. How do you know? Because when the.

  433. Disciples were waiting on the Holy Spirit, he told them

  434. go to the upper room and wait right there until

  435. I give you power. And all you about to go

  436. out and change this country and this region and change

  437. this place, but do not go without power.

  438. So how did they get power? They waited?

  439. Oh my God, They did not go do more things,

  440. grab more things, find more things.

  441. Gather more people. They sat in.

  442. A room for an un marked amount of time. Was

  443. they playing Uno dominos? Were they playing Patty?

  444. We don't know where?

  445. They singing songs and hymns and where they had to

  446. occupy space until God said, all right, they've been in

  447. a place long enough, I can give them power. Could

  448. it be that you won't stay in a place long

  449. enough for God to drop power in your life.

  450. You've been at seven.

  451. Churches seven and a half because you're testing us out.

  452. And what I'm saying to you, what I'm saying to you,

  453. the only common denominator in all those places that weren't

  454. good was you. And could it be that God's saying

  455. no place will be perfect, but I need you to

  456. get planted.

  457. I need you to get somewhere, and.

  458. I need you to allow me to develop roots on

  459. the inside of you. So what's in the soil there

  460. can be cultivated and come up and actually bear everybody

  461. shot at me.

  462. Fruit.

  463. You need fruit in your life, but you cannot get.

  464. Fruit if you are not planted. That's a whole nother message.

  465. That's a whole other message. So what I'm saying to

  466. you is waiting may seem rack whack, but patience produces

  467. power acts one for on one occasion, while he was

  468. eating with them, he gave them this command, do not

  469. leave Jerusalem. But ooh what that say? Wait for the

  470. gift my father promised, which you have heard me speak about,

  471. which is the Holy Spirit. So now I got it

  472. passed some mic I'm gonna let God cook in my life.

  473. As somebody say, let him cook. I know waiting is

  474. the way. I know that it might seem whack, but

  475. it produces power. Let me give you another point. Waiting

  476. is work. Now, don't don't let me get up up

  477. here and give you three points in a poem and

  478. be like I'm going out and I'm just gonna wait

  479. on a thead. Waiting is work, But it's good work.

  480. It's a work that develops something in you. You don't

  481. just feel depleted. You get something out of it. And

  482. what ends up happening is when you understand that waiting

  483. is work.

  484. Watch this, you'll.

  485. Understand that patience is still proactive. Sometimes when we begin

  486. to wait on the Lord, we think it's an excuse

  487. to be lazy. Well, I'm just waiting on God. What

  488. are you doing in the meantime, I'm just weighing on God.

  489. He ain't brought me another job yet. Okay, So what

  490. gift are you perfecting? What are you reading? Who are

  491. you helping? What seeds are you sowing in a season

  492. where you have time to sow those seeds? Whose vision

  493. are you undergirding? Where are you putting your effort in time?

  494. Netflix is not about to produce the miracle you need.

  495. You got eight hours seven in a series that's gonna

  496. come out with another episode next week, and you have

  497. given your time, your precious treasure, to something that cannot

  498. produce the right type of fruit.

  499. So I want to.

  500. Let you know right now as I'm standing here, that

  501. waiting is work.

  502. But when you wait, it means that you.

  503. Gotta be proactive. I'm challenging some people right now who

  504. are in between things to do something that sows a

  505. seed right now for the future. You want to see

  506. you waiting on kids, babysit somebody's kids for day night.

  507. So a seeded.

  508. She said, you better talk my numbers ninety sixty six

  509. four three two. I hear you. Sis you waiting on God,

  510. then sow a seed that proves you're waiting proactively. Well,

  511. I'm waiting for my money to get right because when

  512. my money you're right, I'm gonna give. Boy, I promise you,

  513. I'm dropping when God blesses me like that. No, you're

  514. not because you won't give a dollar. Okay, let me

  515. stop Ecclesiastes eleven six.

  516. Plant your seed.

  517. In the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you

  518. don't know what's gonna profit.

  519. Will it come from.

  520. One activity or another? Oh, it is my favorite part

  521. or maybe bo who knows what God would build as

  522. you are proactively waiting on him. You're waiting on that

  523. loan to come through. Start budgeting right now like it

  524. already came through. Oh God, cause I'm like, why is

  525. this important? That's my last point because waiting is actually worship.

  526. Waiting is worship because patience changes your heart posture, Tiffany,

  527. are y'all still back there making my food because I

  528. ain't seen y'all in like twenty two minutes.

  529. Yep, we're still working on it.

  530. It's still working. That chicken look raw.

  531. Yeah, it's coming.

  532. That feel real wrong.

  533. You gotta just wait and see.

  534. Did y'all hear what she said?

  535. She said, just wait and see. What if our worship

  536. to God in this next season is a wait in

  537. sea worship, which takes one word. Everybody tell me this word,

  538. say this word, write it down? Is everybody say trust?

  539. See right now?

  540. It's easy to believe that something is happening because I

  541. can see it. But what happens when the screen is

  542. no longer on? What's happening in the background of my life?

  543. What happens when the only thing I can see is me?

  544. What happens with nothing back there? I can take them

  545. off the screen? Please, can y'all take them off the

  546. screen in the back, Just take them off the screen?

  547. I said it four times.

  548. I was really trying to work it. God damn, this

  549. is live straight from Taglahoma.

  550. Like.

  551. I seen it.

  552. I was like, oh, God, all right, I love our church.

  553. Shout out to the production team. Can we shout them out?

  554. They be killing all right, I'll be doing all kinds

  555. of crazy stuff. Maybe this button got my bad. I

  556. had to wait on that, not the message. Do use me.

  557. Okay, okay, God, I hear you.

  558. I got impatience live in front of everybody. I'm humble.

  559. I hear you. Let him cook? He said, Yeah, why

  560. are you preaching that message?

  561. I'm about to cook you goad. But isn't that how

  562. God does us at the moment we get in the

  563. role of the teacher, like we have everything figured out?

  564. He said, I'm gonna expose you in front of all

  565. of them. I received, somebody say, let him cook. Patience

  566. is not a punishment, it's preparation. I thank God for

  567. all of the moments that he didn't allow the process

  568. to be televised. I thank God for all of the

  569. moments he allowed me to develop something on the inside

  570. when I only fifteen Instagram likes, y'all, don't hear me, like, oh,

  571. Paus Michael, this social media like no. God was developing

  572. something in me when barely anybody was saying. And I

  573. learned something very valuable in this moment that I would

  574. love to share with you is that because the posture

  575. of my heart begin to change when I will wait,

  576. I realized that I wasn't just waiting for God, I

  577. was waiting with God. Today, I want you to be

  578. introduced to Emmanuel, the God with us. That means you

  579. have to have relationship with him. If I tell Charles,

  580. a bro, I got something for you, wait right here,

  581. my man will wait there for me, me for a long

  582. time because of our watch this history, because of the

  583. relationship we have.

  584. My word without.

  585. Explanation, will keep him at a certain place waiting for

  586. me to come back, not because I'm perfect, not because Gods,

  587. because we got history. When you spend time with God,

  588. this is the importance of having a devotion life and

  589. not just coming to church, but actually being with God every.

  590. Day of your life, sitting with him. That John when

  591. it says He is.

  592. The vine, we are the vinding, he is the vine dresser.

  593. Being connected to him, abiding with him. These are words

  594. that allow us to know whatever we go through, he

  595. is with us. And sometimes the best part of life

  596. is not what we get from God, is just being

  597. with him. Somebody say, Emmanuel God with me. Yeah, you

  598. know what, it's been a long time. I need to

  599. go taste this food because if not, service will be

  600. over and I will be forced to devour whatever concoction

  601. this is. And I'm still not sure fully the nutritional

  602. value of what is?

  603. Somebody said it's none.

  604. You don't know that there's people watching out right now

  605. surviving on this. This is all Some people have the resources,

  606. finances or so. Could it be that I look healthy

  607. but what's actually going in is not. I've been waiting.

  608. The time has come, Chef tef. I am coming to

  609. represent Scrat's Kitchen.

  610. None, all y'all to wait on me.

  611. If y'all start leaving, tackle them at the door.

  612. Okay, if they start, and.

  613. I'm just playing, what's up? Fam, y'all? Good shout out

  614. to the production people that are in the back. Can

  615. y'all give it up for them real quick? All right?

  616. I've been waiting. And she said mac and cheese, chicken.

  617. What else did she say? Russell sprouts? And uh it

  618. was a dessert. What was the dessert? Peach cobbler? Okay,

  619. I hope they got ice cream. Okay, let's let's see.

  620. We are now in smell good in here. Before I

  621. even get.

  622. To what I am going to taste, I smell it.

  623. There is a fragrance in the room right now. If

  624. y'all could be back here, you would smell the aroma

  625. before you even see it, taste it, or touch it.

  626. Could it be that people are getting a whiff of

  627. your waiting before you even come in the room. Right now,

  628. even as I'm coming into this kitchen, I see, oh

  629. my god, matter of fact, the old.

  630. My goodness, the heat is here.

  631. Hold on, if I'm gonna be in the kitchen though,

  632. I gotta be a chef, come on, help me please, yeah,

  633. let me Chef Michael. I need y'all to call me

  634. Chef Michael from now on. I'm gonna this smells so good,

  635. Chef Tiffany, this process, you know, I'm gonna be gat

  636. up with that. You know what I'm saying. They playing

  637. with it. I'm gonna do it for real though, Is

  638. this right.

  639. Chef Tiffany.

  640. Yes, that's right? Okay. As as the process is going forward,

  641. this is what they call plating, right, Yes, that means

  642. there has to be a presentation. That means that what

  643. was done in the dark and actually was made where

  644. nobody could see. There's a level of intentionality of how

  645. we bring it and present it to other people. Church,

  646. it's taught us to do a better job at presenting

  647. the one that loved and cared for us to this world.

  648. We gotta plate Christ, we gotta love our enemies, we

  649. gotta walk and joy. That's why this series of having

  650. receipts is so important, because we have to display patience.

  651. And right now as you are putting a garnishment, is

  652. that a garnishment? It's micro greens? You see. I ain't

  653. that healthy.

  654. I don't even know what that is?

  655. A micro green? And hold on, we got to represent

  656. on our pocket.

  657. I like that.

  658. What you do?

  659. Oh?

  660. Look at you?

  661. Hold on? What is this?

  662. What does this do?

  663. I got one, hold on.

  664. I'm a real chef, thank you.

  665. This is a thermometer to make sure that the food

  666. was cooked correctly to the right temperature. That means that

  667. the way that we live actually has to have a

  668. level of temperature to it that can actually get out

  669. the impurities. Church, what I'm telling you is when we're

  670. asking God to do the work in us, sometimes the

  671. fire gets turned up. The only way this is cooked

  672. is because it went to beat. It went through fire.

  673. I hear the fire back there right now. It has

  674. been through a process.

  675. And all I'm saying is, what if the Holy Spirit's

  676. whole job was to make you know that weaning on

  677. him being patient. It's not a punishment, but it's the

  678. process that gets best fruit out of your life. At

  679. this moment, Chef Tiffany, I want to eat this, but

  680. I don't want to eat it alone. So what I

  681. want to do right now this that mac and cheese

  682. look like it talk.

  683. Do you know what I'm saying? Y'all know I cheese

  684. that be.

  685. Like like single noodles they be, but like mac and

  686. cheese that back.

  687. That's good mac and cheese. Do you hear me?

  688. And that feels like Chef Tiffany, I'm gonna, actually this.

  689. Is mom right here.

  690. I'm gonna take this and I'm actually gonna let somebody

  691. taste it out in the auditorium hungry out there? I

  692. didn't hear you. Is anybody hungry, Chef Tiffany.

  693. That makes them?

  694. Come on, Let's let's go, Let's let's get right now.

  695. All right here we go.

  696. I need forks. I need forks.

  697. I feel like a real chef. This is this is stressful.

  698. This is stressful.

  699. Man.

  700. Shout out to all the people that are waiters and

  701. uh working restaurants. This is stressful. Burning my palms. Here,

  702. let's do this. Who hungry? That's he said? He walked bay,

  703. he said, that's real good. Who's hungry? Hold on, I

  704. need a fork, though, Bring them a fort because they'll

  705. eat this with their hand. If this because somebody said, ron,

  706. you hungry? My man said right here. Okay, now look

  707. at that. Don't that look good? You're gonna grab it.

  708. This ain't yours, Mama Chloe.

  709. I'm sorry. I'm just trying. Need I need, I need.

  710. Yeah, bring me a fork, bring me in something, somebody. Yeah,

  711. she said, I don't need no fork. Okay, give you

  712. some some of this breasts, No, mamachloy, this is not

  713. for you. Okay, do you hear me? After? Okay, okay,

  714. we got y'all.

  715. We got more. Okay, we got some fork, y'all. Serve

  716. the people. Give give some to the people.

  717. Here you go, Mama Chloe, here you go, John here,

  718. get taste it.

  719. Taste it.

  720. Taste it. Somebody taste it. I'm coming back for reviews.

  721. I'm doing my Keith Lee, we're gonna taste it. We're

  722. gonna try it. I don't know the action, and we're

  723. gonna rate it one to ten. Okay, Okay, taste it, John,

  724. somebody let me know now I was alive. Oh my god,

  725. let me move over here. Okay, my man, what's your name? Bro? Okay?

  726. And and and did you taste it? Is it good?

  727. He said?

  728. I asked him, is it good? His response is it's great.

  729. Could it be that the process takes whatever was good?

  730. The marriage was good, My business was good.

  731. But if I let God work it in me, it

  732. can become.

  733. Somebody shot at me, great, I need somebody else.

  734. To hold on.

  735. Now you've looked certified to be able to taste.

  736. This is family over here? Is it good? Pastor?

  737. Barbara?

  738. It's excellent?

  739. Did you what did you taste? She?

  740. I said, what did you?

  741. She said, It's excellent because I smelled it.

  742. But think about it. But think about it. Anybody that's

  743. been around good.

  744. Food, they can tell if it's good. Can anybody tell

  745. that God's been good to you by not even talking

  746. to you, just by being around you?

  747. Wasn't that some peach cobbler.

  748. Who wants some dessert in the now, that's.

  749. Where all the hungry saints is. You're the I don't

  750. know no food, but give me the peach coper. It

  751. got ice cream on it.

  752. Oh shoot, Sunday morning special. Hold on, grab me, Okay,

  753. here we go, Here you go, big crag.

  754. I'm coming up. I'm coming up.

  755. This is all I need to do is bring preech

  756. cobbler on Sunday.

  757. This is all I need to do. I give him Jesus,

  758. give him.

  759. What's up? All they want is beat gobble. Come on,

  760. gonna taste? Can you taste it? Don't taste it right now?

  761. Mama Fletcher tastes it right now. And if it's nasty,

  762. we're gonna rate it one to ten right now, and

  763. Chef Tifney gonna be mad.

  764. Her response had no words but a praise. Then she

  765. went into a praise.

  766. Maybe what what they say?

  767. Chrisehne Is it good? And she said it's good?

  768. Did y'all not get none?

  769. My bed? My b eed my bed. What would it

  770. look like.

  771. If the world was that hungry to taste and seek.

  772. Y'all miss it?

  773. What would it look like if the fruit that we

  774. live with and we love with was that attractive that

  775. people would yell to get our attention. Tell me about Jesus.

  776. Let me know how you made it through the divorce.

  777. Let me know.

  778. I heard about a man, Oh that can heal your infirmity.

  779. I heard about it. It's been too long, it's been

  780. too long that we haven't heard the cries.

  781. Of the world.

  782. For the Jesus. We have, and could it be because

  783. we have not been bearing enough fruit? Standing all over

  784. this building. We are in a season and in a

  785. time and in a place where the truth is, we're

  786. not the chef. We get to talk and touch certain things,

  787. but we serve the chef, and waiting has to become

  788. worship for us.

  789. Today.

  790. I'm just asking, even in the room, if you would

  791. just wait before you leave. Hear me.

  792. Hear me, because this is maybe the.

  793. Most powerful part of this service is that when we wait.

  794. Listen to me, Waiting is warfare. When you wait, you're

  795. going to war with the enemy. You don't, hear me,

  796. because it proves you trust God. And what the enemy

  797. cannot get in front of and stop, he gets behind

  798. and tries to rush it.

  799. I should be married, I shouldn't be a millionaire. I

  800. should do this. I should do that, And the Holy Spirit.

  801. Said, hold up, be patient. I'm Emmanuel the God with you.

  802. And if you will, let the Holy Spirit just work

  803. this thing in you. We sing it today. You're in

  804. on time.

  805. God, you love feeling possible.

  806. You're in on time. Do you understand and in the

  807. concept that even when we think he's late.

  808. He's right all the time.

  809. So maybe today the prayer is, God, let me not

  810. wait anymore for you. Let me wait with you if

  811. you need to pray that prayer and be sincere about

  812. it so that the fruits of the spirit can begin

  813. to develop. Would you just lift your hands all over

  814. I want to pray for you. Come on, Yeah, today, Father,

  815. we want the receipt of patience, and the proof only

  816. comes if there's fruit in our life. So today, all

  817. over this world, all in this arena, today, God, we

  818. are asking you to help us wait with you. Let

  819. us not be so in a hurry to move from

  820. this place to go to that place that we miss

  821. the miracle of here. Let us not be so in

  822. a rush to prove that we can make it, or

  823. that other people can see how good we are, that

  824. we missed your goodness in this moment, even as some

  825. of us sit here hurting and want to move, Father God,

  826. would you please let us not leave here without getting

  827. everything from here we're supposed to get here is Holy,

  828. Father God, for all of us that have been worrying

  829. it while we're waiting. Today, God, I thank you, there

  830. would be another level of trust that would be birthed

  831. on the inside of us. And Father God, expose the

  832. areas in my heart that do not believe you're thinking

  833. about the details of my life. Would you, Father God,

  834. help my unbelief. Come on, y'all, let's pray real prayers today.

  835. Would you help my unbelief where it seems like you've

  836. forgotten about me, were forgotten about our family, forgotten about

  837. our church. Today I switch my perspective that this waiting

  838. or this patience is not a punishment. It's actually a

  839. proof of your love for me, that you will put

  840. me in a process to develop in me the promise

  841. that you have for me. Father. This song is frustrating,

  842. but I pray it becomes our heart's posture. I don't

  843. mind waiting.

  844. I don't mind way, I don't mind way. On you, Lord,

  845. I don't mind way, I don't mind way, I don't

  846. mind way on you all.

  847. Day that way, oh my Lord shall read.

  848. Ye, sir, they shall mount, they shall mount h always

  849. like that.

  850. And so they they show up, Dear, I feel this president, They.

  851. Shower up and nothing.

  852. That's what happens when I wait.

  853. We're gonna sing it one more time, but our dear

  854. faith to erupt in this place. Say day that away,

  855. day that away, Hey on the come on believe.

  856. It shall read Hey there.

  857. They shall mount, shout moun hey wise like any and sir,

  858. hey day show show way day shall they shall no

  859. you think.

  860. That's what happens when you wait. That's what happens when

  861. I wait, Hey, that's what happens.

  862. When I will be patient, I will let God you,

  863. I'll let him do the work. Somebody, just lift your hands.

  918. Everybody, just grab somebody's hand.

  919. Yeah, there's unity coming to this thing. I feel the

  920. presence of God in this place. I know that God's

  921. about to do something that's strong and strategic. Father, in

  922. the name of Jesus, I want everybody in this place

  923. to repeat after me, say God, thank you for sending.

  924. Jesus just for me. Today. I give you my life.

  925. I believe you lived, you die, and you rose again

  926. with all power just for me. Thank you for being

  928. The days of my life. Change me, renew me, transform me.

  929. I'm yours in Jesus' name. Amen. Can we throw a

  930. party in this street like Heaven is doing?

  931. Holle lou y'all? Oh, come on? Can we celebrate people

  932. who just.

  933. Came their life to Jesus.

  934. Hey, listen, if you just made that decision, if you

  935. just prayed that prayer, I want you to lift your

  936. hand boldly one more time. We got a gift we

  937. want to give you. So, if you just gave your

  938. life to Jesus, our ushers want to give you a Bible.

  939. Can we celebrate people again who just made that choice.

  940. Keep your hand.

  941. Lifted, Hey, listen, we are so proud of you for

  942. making that choice. On the indside of that Bible, you

  943. can let us know that you made that decision by

  944. texting the word saved. There's resources, Bible plans, and I

  945. want to encourage you to make a commitment.

  946. Make a decision.

  947. I'm gonna commit to be in God's house. We have

  948. prayer that happens on Wednesday night. You need a brand

  949. new fresh start. You need some patience. Prayer is the

  950. place where patience is developed. But we're so happy for you. Hey, listen,

  951. we close service out this way every single.

  952. Week, and we're gonna do this. And I want to

  953. invite two groups of people.

  954. One some of you need a place for patients to

  955. just sit with you. I want to take a moment

  956. and I'm gonna open up the altar as our worship

  957. team begins to sing. And some of you just need

  958. practice waiting immediately, like you don't need to put.

  959. It off for a second. We got to church.

  960. A little tell of y'all look down like, oh my goodness,

  961. I'm about to go get some food. Some of you

  962. need a moment to let patients sit with you. As

  963. we begin to worship, our team is gonna sing. I'm

  964. gonna invite you to come down front if you just

  965. need a moment to sit with God to worship.

  966. Another thing we're gonna do is every single week.

  967. In the back of the room, we have an entire

  968. prayer team that is ready right now to pray with

  969. you struggled with waiting. If there's a specific situation that

  970. instead of waiting, you've been worrying about and you need

  971. somebody to pray for you.

  972. Nothing too big, nothing too small.

  973. I want to invite you as you least stop, our

  974. team would absolutely love to pray with you.

  975. I'm gonna take a moment. If you want to come

  976. down to the front.

  977. To worship, you can go ahead and do that, and

  978. I'm just gonna pray over us that as we close

  979. out this service, that this would be a transformation, not just.

  980. A moment, but that something goes to our life.

  981. Would you lift your hands, Lord God, thank you so

  982. much for everything you did in the service. Thank you,

  983. Lord Jesus, that patience to us would become a practice,

  984. Lord Jesus, that I wouldn't just stay within this moment,

  985. Lord God, but I thank you that even as we worship,

  986. even as we go out, even as we receive prayer,

  987. that you would do something on the inside of us. God,

  988. we don't want to be impatient anymore. We don't want

  989. to live a rushed life, Lord Jesus. But when you live,

  990. let us live at the pace of your grace, Lord God,

  991. trusting you fully that you have our life in your hands.

  992. Lord God, we love you so much. Is in the

  993. beautiful name of Jesus. We pray and everybody said, Hey, listen,

  994. you can come down to worship, but we love you

  995. so much.

  996. If you would like to stay, if you're a.

  997. Part of the recording, you can do that.

  998. But before next week, go out and live a transform life.

  999. We love you so much. Come on, let's worship together.

1000. Come on, let's sing it up, say wait on, thank

1001. you for joining us today. If you said that prayer

1002. and accept it Jesus into your heart, it's the best

1003. decision you could ever make. We want to celebrate with you,
