-
enjoy this week's message. Amen. Thank you for
-
your kindness. You may be seated. First, I want
-
to give reverence to the Father, to King Jesus,
-
to the Holy Spirit. Let's give God Almighty a
-
big hand clap. To Pastor Brad and Jenny and the
-
entire ministry team, let's give them a big hand
-
clap. To our dear friends. Dr. Greg and the best
-
part of him, his wife, Joanne, let's give them
-
a big hand clap. To Jim and to his lovely wife,
-
Erin, let's give them a big hand clap. And give
-
your neighbor a hand clap too. I agree with the
-
accuracy of all of those prophetic words that
-
were shared publicly by Jenny and the one our
-
dear brother shared. Allow me to say this, if
-
I may. When Rachel was giving birth, She called
-
her son the son of my sorrow. But Jacob changes
-
his name to Benjamin, the son of my strength.
-
Isn't it interesting that you have to go through
-
sorrow to get to strength? So I was speaking
-
at a world conference. And prior to the conference,
-
I had this angel visit me. And he had on his
-
arms strength, stamina, patience, and perseverance.
-
And I remember years ago when the Holy Spirit
-
spoke that very scripture, I didn't want to hear
-
it. It wasn't what I wanted to hear at the time.
-
But he said, you have need of patience. That
-
after you've done the will of God, you might
-
inherit the promise. Look at your neighbor and
-
say, you have need of patience. That after you've
-
done the will of God. You inherit the promise.
-
So, when your apostle talked to me about this
-
conference, and he mentioned the theme, the prevailing
-
church, it reminded me of a supernatural experience
-
I had several years ago when I was in Amarillo
-
in one of those unexpected encounters. where
-
I was caught up to heaven, and there was a door,
-
a portal. And on the left was a warrior angel.
-
To the right, one very similar, very chiseled,
-
very powerful. You may say, why would two angels
-
be at the entranceway? Well, Those two angels
-
have shown up in my life at least a couple of
-
times I can mention. One was when my wife decided
-
that she wanted a Victorian house and I didn't
-
want it. And she made me go and look at it. And
-
there were those two big angels, one on the left
-
side of the house, one on the right. And that's
-
when I concluded that our Heavenly Father loves
-
her more than me. You think I'm playing. And
-
there was another experience which I'm not going
-
to tell you about. But in any case, when I walked
-
through the door in heaven, there was an angel
-
with a scroll. And the words on the scroll was
-
this. This is what it was. The watch of the Lord.
-
is a secret weapon of apostles, prophets, seers,
-
and the victorious church. Everybody say the
-
prevailing church. And this watch of the Lord
-
is not what we think in terms of watches 6 to
-
9, 9 to 12, 12 to 3, 3 to 6. It's... That Hebrews
-
where it says looking to Jesus. Everybody say
-
watch and pray. Then it went on to say the watch
-
of the Lord is a key to the intelligence of the
-
spirit and the ability to interpret the will
-
of God. Look at your neighbor and say you need
-
the intelligence of the spirit. And a divine
-
ability to interpret the will of God. So I'm
-
going to start with this intelligence of the
-
Spirit and this interpreting of the will of God.
-
There was something else on the scroll. The scrolls
-
of heaven, in addition to giving you insight
-
into the will of the Father, They can reveal
-
the operations of the enemy and the strategies
-
of Jesus to produce a body of overcomers. Everybody
-
say, the strategies of Jesus will make you an
-
overcomer. So what I have to do tonight as the
-
first night is I have to, Surprise you. So I
-
decided to have this typed out in an attempt
-
to make me be systematic and go point by point
-
because you know why. So listen carefully. Are
-
you ready? Now I said all that for a reason.
-
As you listen to this message, you'll understand.
-
I'm going to speak to you individually. Eventually
-
we'll talk corporately. But probably not tonight.
-
Your life is not stuck because the Lord has said
-
no to your prayer. Your life is stuck because
-
you cannot yet carry what you're asking for right
-
now. There are opportunities, resources, blessings
-
hovering over you. But they're not waiting for
-
your prayer to get louder. They're waiting for
-
your capacity to become greater. The Father is
-
not testing your desire. What he's looking at
-
is your internal infrastructure. For example,
-
you think you're waiting for wealth, but the
-
wealth that the father wants to give you is waiting
-
for a version of you that will not collapse under
-
its weight. Most people spend years praying to
-
the father for more money. Better relationships,
-
greater opportunities, while completely ignoring
-
the real question the Father is asking. Can you
-
even handle what you're asking for? Can you handle
-
it emotionally? Can you handle it spiritually?
-
And really importantly, can you handle it structurally?
-
Can your current systems, boundaries, and internal
-
architecture sustain the blessings that you're
-
asking for from the Father? So it is time to
-
examine your capacity. Look at somebody say the
-
capacity code. Say it again. We're looking at
-
your capacity. After a while, you will begin
-
to understand exactly why the answer to your
-
prayer has been delayed. And more importantly,
-
you will have the blueprint to build the internal
-
structure that will make your increase inevitable.
-
The world has sold you a deception and a lie.
-
It tells you to dream bigger, ask for more, manifest
-
abundance, visualize success. But the word of
-
wisdom from the throne operates completely differently.
-
Here's the reality. You ready? What you cannot
-
manage, the Father cannot multiply. You have
-
to be able to manage it before the Father will
-
multiply it. Management comes before increase.
-
The prevailing church learns divine management
-
under the master, the Lord Jesus Christ, and
-
sees multiplication. What you cannot sustain,
-
the Lord Jesus will not give you. He's paid for
-
it. It's yours. It's part of your inheritance.
-
Ephesians 1 .11, in Christ you have obtained
-
an inheritance, but it's not released until you
-
have the capacity to sustain what he has purchased.
-
Look at somebody and say, this is not punishment.
-
This is protection. Increase without the proper
-
biblical infrastructure is not a blessing. Because
-
if the Father gives it to you and you are not
-
yet ready for it, you will sabotage. Everybody
-
say, we want to avoid personal sabotage. Think
-
about the last time you asked the Father for
-
something significant, more income, a better
-
relationship, a new opportunity. But I want you
-
to consider the possibility. What if you wanted
-
increase in results without a willingness for
-
increase in responsibility? What if you wanted
-
a blessing without the added burden the blessing
-
brings? The prevailing church is ready for greater
-
responsibility. So it can take the greater blessings.
-
The prevailing church is ready for the added
-
burden. that the blessing brings. Some people,
-
they want added gifting without the added growth
-
required to steward it properly. See, when it's
-
the word of the Lord, the word of the Lord reveals
-
to your heart where you are and where you're
-
not. Somebody said it this way. When you're reading
-
the Bible, the Bible is reading you. So this
-
is what people do. When your prayer is not answered,
-
you question the goodness of God instead of examining
-
your own current capacity. Oh no, I'm prophesying.
-
I know I'm prophesying. You don't have to even
-
say amen. You question the goodness of God because
-
you ain't getting it because you done prayed,
-
you done fasted. But you ain't never asked. See,
-
I'm going to help you. Look at somebody say,
-
he going to help you a little bit. Let me tell
-
you something about transition. Transition is
-
not the beginning of something new. Transition
-
happens because something old has left. Transition
-
happens because something has ended. Change is
-
when your external circumstances are not the
-
way they were before. Transition is internal.
-
And transition happens when something has ended
-
and you are in between where you were and where
-
you need to go. Look at somebody say, it's a
-
long hallway. Somebody say, it's a hell way.
-
Well, it's that too. And when you are in transition,
-
you have in your soul a real anxiety. You have
-
a sense of uncertainty. Uncertainty does not
-
mean you don't have faith. The problem is this.
-
The map you knew doesn't fit the territory in
-
which you now find yourself. Okay. Because what
-
you knew in that season isn't what you need to
-
know for the next season. And now things are
-
not familiar. Which means now I have to get quiet.
-
And I need to say, Lord, I know you want to bless
-
me, but what do you have to build in my infrastructure
-
first? So when your prayer is not answered, you
-
quest the goodness of God instead of examining
-
your own capacity. Let me tell you what Jesus
-
sees when you pray for increase. Jesus looks
-
at your own financial discipline. Jesus looks
-
at how you handle pressure. Jesus looks at your
-
emotional regulation when you're under stress.
-
Increase. Causes stress. Increase impacts your
-
emotions. Increase means you got to get more
-
organized. What Jesus looks like when you pray
-
for something is he looks at your relationship
-
patterns, your time stewardship, your boundary
-
management. Listen to this. This is really important.
-
You ready? And based upon what Jesus observes,
-
he calculates exactly how much you can carry
-
without breaking. That calculation determines
-
your current ceiling. That ceiling is not arbitrary.
-
It is architectural. It's how you think. It's
-
what you think. Are you still with me? Matthew
-
16, Jesus says, I'll build my church. Is what
-
you're thinking and how you're thinking really
-
going to take you where you want to go? Has it
-
so far? That calculation is built from your habits.
-
your systems, your emotional capacity, your spiritual
-
maturity, and your ability to handle responsibility.
-
Okay. All right. All right. All right. Okay.
-
Everybody say transition. Are you ready? When
-
you're in transition, the teacher isn't talking.
-
The silence is not abandonment. He's already
-
told you everything you already need to know.
-
The teacher never talks while the test is going
-
on. That's why when you go into a prophetic meeting,
-
the person who's prophetic prophesies all around
-
it. Still with me? So when you're in transition,
-
you must put into application the lessons you've
-
already been taught. The principles that have
-
already been revealed. Look at somebody said,
-
this is the season for your stretching. See,
-
this is, okay, let me show you. Let me, okay.
-
See, this is what we think. This is what we think.
-
Bless our sweethearts. We think that when Jesus
-
knocked Paul to the ground and he sees this great
-
light, he had had letters from a earthly high
-
priest giving him authority. And now Jesus appears
-
as the heavenly high priest. And he looks up
-
and he sees Jesus and he says, who are you, sir?
-
We think that that's where Paul got converted.
-
I submit to you that that's Where Paul got collapsed.
-
Listen to me. Everything he thought he knew.
-
That he read. In the word of God. That he misinterpreted.
-
When the light shined. He went through a collapse.
-
Everybody say that's loss. How you know you're
-
in transition. Is when. things you thought you
-
knew that aren't working. You have to face the
-
reality that it ain't working and something needs
-
to collapse so you can get the mind of Christ.
-
Transition is the doorway to transformation.
-
Before, remember I told you transition is not
-
the beginning of something. It's because something
-
has ended. There's something you have to let
-
go of. Look at somebody and say there's something
-
you got to let go of. So you can receive something.
-
Everybody say receive something. So watch this.
-
When you understand this, everything changes.
-
You stop. begging the Father for more and you
-
start building for more. You stop waiting for
-
the blessing of Jesus and you start creating
-
the vessel that the blessing can fill. When you
-
comprehend the principle, the code of capacity,
-
you understand that there are laws that govern
-
divine provision. These are not suggestions.
-
These are not good concepts. They are operational
-
principles that determine whether the Father
-
releases resources into your life. or withholds
-
them for your protection. Oh, no, no, no. Let
-
me help you. So Jesus tells a story. One man
-
gets five. One man gets two. One man gets one.
-
The man with five makes more. The man with two
-
makes more. The guy with one doesn't make any
-
more. The man with five who made more gets commended
-
by God. The man with two who makes more gets
-
commended by God. The man with one who doesn't
-
make more gets condemned by God. Why isn't the
-
father giving me more? He doesn't want to condemn
-
you. He only gives you what you can increase
-
so at the end he can commend you. This is not
-
an issue of abundance. This is the issue of architecture
-
and capacity. There's a difference in the thinking
-
of the one who had the five and the two and the
-
thinking of the individual with the one. So now
-
we're going to examine some laws. Remember I
-
said the father will withhold some things to
-
protect you until you're ready for it. Everybody
-
say the law. The first law is the law of vessels.
-
So the blessing takes the shape. of the container.
-
In the book of 2 Kings, we encounter Elijah and
-
the widow who comes to him in desperation. Her
-
husband has died. He was a son of the prophet.
-
He was in debt. She had two sons. The creditor
-
says, pay me or I'm going to take your two sons.
-
Now she has no means of support. And she goes
-
to the father prophet, Elijah, and explains,
-
this is my situation. His first question was
-
this. What do you have in the house? I'm sure
-
her first response is, I don't have nothing.
-
And then she thinks. So that's what crisis does.
-
It makes you have a brain freeze. Makes your
-
emotions, paralyzes you emotionally. You have
-
a transchemic attack. And then after she calmed
-
herself down, she goes, wait a minute, I got
-
a pot of oil. She had reached the absolute bottom
-
of her capacity to survive. The prophet says,
-
what do you have in your house? She replies,
-
this small bottle or jar of oil. Then he gives
-
her an instruction that seems unusual. Go borrow
-
from your neighbors, empty vessels. As many as
-
you can gather, pour oil into them. Even though
-
the instruction made no logical sense, the woman
-
obeys. She gathers vessels from every neighbor,
-
filling her home with empty containers. Then
-
she starts to pour. Watch this. Here's the miracle.
-
The oil flowed until every vessel was full. Not
-
one drop more. The blessing matched exactly the
-
capacity she prepared. The provision was not
-
limited by the father's resources, but by her
-
own preparation in receiving. She could have
-
gathered 50. She could have gathered 150. But
-
the code reveals the oil would have filled whatever
-
capacity she created. The creator fills the capacity
-
that you provide. Everybody say the law of vessels.
-
Here's the point. This is how divine provision
-
operates in your life right now. The father gives
-
the blessing. The father gives you the opportunity
-
to receive the blessing. But only equal. to the
-
capacity you have built. Why would the Father
-
give you abundance when you think scarcity? I
-
remember there was a very good brother that I
-
knew for a long time. I planted this church and
-
he was on the board. And when we decided to do
-
big things, he resisted. His mind was too small.
-
Come on now. If the truth be told, every single
-
one of us struggle with this. Abraham is struggling
-
to have one son and the father is saying, look
-
at the stars in the sky and the pebbles on the
-
beach. And the father keeps showing him abundance,
-
abundance, abundance. My promise, my promise,
-
my promise to increase his capacity. And the
-
father has to say it and show it to him and tell
-
him over and over and over and over and over.
-
Look at somebody say, and you're a son of Abraham
-
for sure. This is not a criticism. This is simply
-
an observation. I'm a son of Abraham, too. How
-
do you think I got this message? Because I would
-
have these supernatural experiences, and I wanted
-
it to continue, but it stopped. So why did it
-
stop? I'm talking about in the experience. It's
-
because that was all I could take. It wasn't
-
all the father wanted to show me. So what he
-
would do is he would show me part one. Give me
-
time. To process it. And then he would show me
-
part two. Because my capacity was. I'm just telling
-
the truth. And see, it's not even humility because
-
I know I got company. Okay. You ready? Look at
-
somebody say, you need to prepare your vessel.
-
Second law. Everybody say, it's the law of weight.
-
When the father gives a gift, whether it's a
-
natural gift or a supernatural gift, he gives
-
the responsibility along with that gift. Every
-
blessing that Jesus purchased carries weight.
-
Ready? Every increase comes with pressure. Every
-
promotion brings new demands. And if the responsibility
-
crushes you, the gift is not a blessing. It's
-
a burden you're not yet ready to carry. Consider
-
the businessman who prays for a million dollar
-
contract and then he can't sleep when he gets
-
it. Because in his mind, he's not up for that
-
level of responsibility. Consider the woman who
-
wants to be married and then feels trapped when
-
she has to consider her husband in every decision.
-
I did go there. I intended to go there. Consider
-
the employee who wants a promotion and then crumbles
-
under the pressure of having to lead others.
-
These are not success stories. They're capacity
-
failures. The father evaluates your readiness
-
for increase, not by your desire for it, but
-
by your current performance under your current
-
weight. In short, if you're complaining now about
-
your performance, pressure, and responsibility,
-
why would the Father bring more blessing, more
-
responsibility, and more pressure, and more burden
-
with divine increase? Look at your neighbor and
-
say, I'm thinking you need to repent right about
-
now. See, the reason I'm telling you to repent
-
now is because by the time I get to the end of
-
the message, you'll go, I know I needed to repent
-
about something, but I can't remember what it
-
was. I've been there. It's like, I know I needed
-
to repent. What was it? What was it? What was
-
it? So now I'm going to do a pause. I'm going
-
to pause. Here's my pause. Let's see how sanctified
-
you are tonight. Let's see how I sanctified y
-
'all tonight. How many of you have been asking
-
for something and it ain't come yet? Raise your
-
hands. Raise them up high unless you got a shoulder
-
condition. Look around the room. Look around
-
the room. Put your hands down. How many of you
-
are honest enough to say you really aren't ready
-
yet for what you're asking the Father for? Raise
-
your other hand. Raise it up high. Look around
-
the room. How you think I know? Jesus said to
-
his disciples in the book of John, he says, I
-
have many things to say to you, but you can't
-
bear it now. In the Greek, it means you can't
-
stand up under the weight of it. Lord, why can't
-
I have this experience? You can't stand up under
-
the waiter. It go to your head. You cannot handle
-
it. You won't steward it properly. So I'm only
-
going to give you what you can handle. Did you
-
already forget what you needed to repent over?
-
I'm going to give you 30 seconds to pray. Ask
-
the Lord, what do I need to repent over right
-
now so far in this message? And look at somebody
-
and say, this is just the beginning. Because
-
see, I have a philosophy. If I got to repent,
-
I'm going to get as many people to repent with
-
me so I feel better. Look at somebody and say,
-
never repent alone if you can repent with company.
-
Come on now, take 30 seconds. Go ahead and pray.
-
Thank you, Father. How do you handle the pressures
-
you already have? How do you manage the responsibilities
-
currently on your plate? How do you respond to
-
circumstances that require you to stretch beyond
-
your comfort zone? Your answers to these questions
-
determine what the Father can safely place in
-
your hands. The truth that will transform your
-
approach to increase is this. Instead of thinking
-
you're asking the Father for gifts, Ask the Father
-
to build your capacity so that you can handle
-
greater responsibility and greater weight. And
-
he can trust you. And that means competence under
-
your current conditions. See, My communion with
-
the Lord is what gives me competence. My communion
-
with the Lord that gives me competence gives
-
me courage. My communion with the Lord that gives
-
me competence and courage gives me confidence.
-
That confidence brings me comfort. And when I'm
-
in a place of comfort, I enter a place of silence.
-
Because you cannot hear the Father in anxiety.
-
Be anxious for nothing. But in everything with
-
prayer and supplication. With thanksgiving, let
-
your requests be made known to the Father. See,
-
let me tell you our problem. Look at somebody
-
say, I hate that he's getting ready to talk about
-
you some more. No, please hear me. You ready?
-
Look at somebody say, you're not going to like
-
what he's getting ready to say next. We equate
-
God with intensity. We equate God with peaks.
-
We equate God with supernatural surges. And then
-
we wonder, when I go from the peak into the valley,
-
I think something's wrong. Look at somebody say,
-
ain't nothing wrong with you. So at a certain
-
point, you've got to quit looking for the peaks.
-
And the surges and just develop capacity for
-
steadfastness. Because if you develop capacity
-
for steadfastness, now you will encounter the
-
surges. So you don't live from manifestation
-
to manifestation. You live in the application
-
of the word every day. And I'm going to show
-
you something. And I'll elaborate on this later.
-
When Elijah is in trouble and he goes to Horeb
-
and he goes in that same cave that Moses was
-
in, he was looking to have a replay of the experience
-
that Moses had. And the Lord wanted to show him,
-
you're not going to have it because what the
-
Lord says is what you're doing here. And then
-
when he walks out, he sees an earthquake. Going
-
back to Moses. He sees a fire. Going back to
-
Moses. Are you hearing me? He sees a wind. Going
-
back to Moses. And then he finds out the Lord
-
ain't in the wind. The Lord ain't in the fire.
-
And the Lord is not in the earthquake. I'm not
-
going to do for you what I did for Moses. Why
-
are you looking to experience me like somebody
-
else? No, you're going to experience me in the
-
Greek, in the Hebrew, in a still, small voice.
-
So we think, I got to have an experience like
-
Moses. Do you want to know what the real deal
-
was? You know what God's really showing, Elijah?
-
The earthquake's on the inside of you. But I'm
-
still here. I called you to bring fire down from
-
heaven. I didn't tell you to kill 850 people.
-
God is showing Elijah his internal condition.
-
Elijah was in self -pity. He's angry. He's angry.
-
He's depressed. That's why he said, Lord, it's
-
enough now. Let me just die. If you want to die,
-
that means that you're angry. See, we don't think
-
we got it until we got it like somebody else
-
had it. And what Elijah got was a shattering
-
silence where the Lord was there. So we think
-
if I get this dramatic supernatural experience,
-
ooh, I have arrived. Look at somebody and say,
-
are you kidding me? So we love the sensational
-
and the spectacular. And what this mighty man
-
of God gets is a still, small voice. But James
-
gives you a clue. He's a man of like passions
-
like we are. But you don't believe him. It's
-
suicidal. The brother wants to quit. He's calling
-
down fire from heaven. He's in a state of spiritual
-
exhaustion. And some sister named Jezebel says
-
in 24 hours, your head, you're going to lose
-
it. Now, wait a minute, man. You just called
-
rain, you just called fire, and now you scared
-
of this sister? You're mad. Because things didn't
-
work out the way you thought. Look at somebody
-
and say, there's help for you tonight. You know,
-
there have been times where I have registered
-
to heaven my complaints. Have you ever given
-
God the what -to -for? Have you ever accused
-
him of being unjust? Act like y 'all don't know
-
what I'm talking about. Have you ever given God
-
a piece of your mind that you really should have
-
kept? And then after you got done, you had to
-
repent? The father withholds whatever would destroy
-
you and releases whatever you can steward successfully.
-
Your current capacity is not an insult to your
-
potential. It's an accurate assessment of your
-
present ability to carry weight without breaking.
-
Preferably, the father likes to make the man
-
before he makes the minister. When a mentor gives
-
a man a ministry before he's ready, there'll
-
be mismanagement. Many times leaders promote
-
people based upon their potential, not upon the
-
actual performance of their responsibilities.
-
Are you still here? Let me tell you something.
-
This is a different code, but I'm going to mention
-
it. Here's the code. It's called the assignment
-
code. You ready? The father always funds your
-
assignment. He won't fund your dream, but he
-
will fund your assignment. That's why the money
-
has to come. Okay, you heard me, but you didn't
-
hear me. This church is God's assignment. So
-
if God has to speak to a millionaire, give that
-
millionaire the address. Write out a check for
-
however much money you need. God will do that.
-
I can't go into details, but let's just say I
-
know an individual who needed. Over $2 million
-
to get a studio. And God provided an empty studio.
-
And two persons walked up and gave him over $2
-
million to purchase the studio all at once. But
-
that's another level. Look at somebody said that
-
one was for free. See, I know I have. I know
-
I stretch people with some of the stuff I say.
-
But I have a friend who gets geographically translated
-
to another place, to a guy who needs money. He
-
ain't got no money. The guy who gets translated
-
ain't got no money. And God says to him, just
-
reach in. You will have the money that this guy
-
needs. And he reaches in and boom, there it is.
-
Look at somebody saying it's exactly what the
-
guy needed. Before he got translated, he didn't
-
have it. you say you believe that God can't put
-
a coin in a fish's mouth. So you gonna tell me
-
God can't do supernatural money? How many of
-
y 'all been fishing? Raise your hand if you've
-
ever been fishing. You ever found a coin? I could
-
tell you of cases where people found money in
-
their bank account that wasn't there. See, I'm
-
going to get myself in trouble. So I probably
-
should tell you this before I tell you that.
-
So anyway, there's this woman. Her name is Bertha.
-
At the time, she lived in Germany. At the time,
-
she was missing some body parts. At the time,
-
she said this really handsome black man appeared
-
in her house. I inserted that part in, but it
-
was a black man. And he had angels that had body
-
parts. And she was frightened. So he laughed.
-
And he left with the angels. And then she's watching
-
It's Supernatural. And she goes, that's the guy
-
that was in my house. Called Supernatural. They
-
gave her my number. She comes to Syracuse, New
-
York to come to a service and gets her supernatural
-
body parts. So I don't know how far. See, you
-
can do it. I'm going to tell you another one.
-
Before I tell you the one I really want to tell
-
you. And I can tell you what her hair was like
-
before she came. So this woman, I'm preaching
-
at a Puerto Rican church. It was Brian and Jessica
-
Valley. You know them, don't you? Okay. I'm preaching
-
there. And this white woman comes into the service.
-
She had never been to church. Matter of fact,
-
she didn't go to church. She didn't even know
-
the Lord. When I give an altar call, she comes
-
up and gives her heart to Jesus. And this is
-
her testimony. She had a dream. This really handsome
-
man, she didn't say that part, told her to come
-
to church. She had never been to that church.
-
Why? Of all the churches in Kissimmee, did she
-
come to church on the day I was there to give
-
her heart to Jesus? It was a sign. So this woman,
-
her name is Robin. She says this really handsome
-
man appeared to her in a dream. Gave her instructions
-
on how to worship God. So that there could be
-
a financial, supernatural provision of increase.
-
And it came. On one occasion, she goes to the
-
bank and she gets a printout of money that wasn't
-
supposed to be there. And she says, there's a
-
mistake. They said, no, it's your money. Because
-
she's, you know, a woman of integrity, so she
-
figured, this ain't my money, but look what somebody
-
said, but the bank said it was her money. Let
-
me tell you one more that's going to mess with
-
you. As a brother, do you know Keith Miller?
-
You know Keith? So Keith does this testimony.
-
He said, God wants to bless people financially.
-
If you want a financial blessing, come up to
-
the front. Do you know only two people came up?
-
A husband and a wife. He prays over them. She
-
goes in after the meeting to pray on her home.
-
And the person said, what are you doing here?
-
I'm here to, you know, pay down on my home. Don't
-
you remember you came in the other day and paid
-
it all off? It was the day that her and her husband
-
came to the... I can go on. See. See, listen,
-
let me tell you something. We say we believe
-
the Bible and we say we believe in the supernatural.
-
Then when we talk about it, somebody got a problem
-
with it. Third principle, and I'm closed. And
-
I should do something after that, I guess. My
-
wife says I'm a long -winded preacher. My wife's
-
been known to bring snacks to church. Joanne.
-
They think I'm joking, but she really has brought
-
snacks to the church. My wife has spies. Veronica
-
from California, stand to your feet. Where you
-
at, Veronica? Did my wife call you? Has she called
-
you yet? She's from California. You will be asked
-
to give a report. You have my permission to tell
-
her whatever. I'm sitting there. She says, hi.
-
I said, come around. I said, Veronica, what are
-
you doing here? She's from California. She's
-
a spy. My wife calls up Pastor Brad, informs
-
him, don't let my husband have too much ice cream.
-
She's going to tell the apostle what to do. And
-
get a report from a spy. When you've been married
-
46 years, you just accept it. Veronica has never
-
been here before, have you? wife believes my
-
capacity to resist ice cream is her. And she
-
already knows I'm still eating ice cream. But
-
she just needs to have her say it. It makes her
-
feel better. Ready? Third principle. Everybody
-
say expansion. All right. Watch. With this, I'm
-
going to try to close. Acts 20, 32. Paul says,
-
I commend you to God, which is able to build
-
you up. Make you strong. Give you the capacity
-
to receive your inheritance among them that are
-
holy. 1 Corinthians 14. He who speaks in a tongue
-
speaks to God. He who speaks in a tongue builds
-
up himself. Jude 1 .20. Build yourself up on
-
your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.
-
Let me show you the pattern. You ready? God makes
-
sky, and then he fills it with creation that
-
flies. God makes water, fills it with creation
-
that swims. God makes land, fills it with things
-
that move off the land. The pattern is God first
-
forms, and then he fills. What determines the
-
filling? Everybody say the formation. Expansion
-
is about enlargement. How are you enlarged? Everybody
-
say distress. Put up on the screen for me. Psalms
-
4. Start with verse 1. That's why this church
-
is about to be enlarged. Hear me when I call,
-
O God of my righteousness. You have enlarged
-
me when I was in distress. What is going on in
-
my life right now? The reason that you are under
-
pressure and you are in a tight place is because
-
the scriptural pattern is you are formed in the
-
tight place. And then as a result of that, your
-
inner capacity expands. And then he brings you
-
into a broad place. That's why you felt more
-
pressure now than you have before. Are you still
-
here? And so let me tell you what the squeeze
-
does. The squeeze makes you face yourself. Now
-
you see your shadow. You see the darkness that
-
your activity has been hiding. You see the darkness
-
that your distraction has been blinding you to.
-
And in the squeeze, All of a sudden, certain
-
activities stop. And now you actually have to
-
look at yourself. And now you have to say, okay,
-
Lord, I need some more spiritual formation. Now
-
watch me. I'm closing. Everybody say information.
-
Information is for your mind. 1 Corinthians 12.
-
I don't want you to be uninformed. I want you
-
to have information. Right? Ephesians 117. I'm
-
praying to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
-
the Father of glory. May he give to you a spirit
-
of wisdom and revelation. The apocalypse is not
-
about end times. It's about unveiling. Look at
-
somebody and say, it's about seeing what you
-
didn't see before. that the eyes of your understanding
-
may be flooded with light. Now you have properly
-
framed pictures of what the kingdom of God is
-
actually like. Everybody say, information, revelation.
-
So James 1 .22 says, Be ye doers of the word,
-
and not hearers only. Everybody say application.
-
Doers is which has to do with creativity. You
-
ready? It is when you are leaving where you were
-
in transition to where you're going. This is
-
the part where there is an increased creativity.
-
That's called wisdom. Wisdom is creativity. Okay?
-
In the spirit of the age, there was a study by
-
Dr. George Land. He found that children five
-
years and younger, 98 % of them had creativity.
-
He checked them at age 12. He checked them at
-
age 18. Ready? Through the educational process
-
of the spirit of the age, Only 2 % of them retained
-
creativity. 98 % of them had lost it because
-
they conformed to the spirit of the age rather
-
than submitting to the spirit of God that brings
-
creativity. They lost the ability to see. Information.
-
Did I say information? Revelation. Application.
-
Are you ready? Manifestation. Jesus said, if
-
you'll love me, you'll keep my words. My father
-
will love you, will come to you, will live with
-
you. He who has my commandments and keeps them,
-
he it is that loves me, and he that loves me
-
shall be loved by my father, and I'll love him,
-
and I will manifest myself to him. Everybody
-
say manifestation. You ready? Galatians 4, 19.
-
My little children of whom I travail in birth
-
again until Christ be formed in you. Everybody
-
say there's a prophetic process. Watch this.
-
Everybody say information, revelation, application,
-
manifestation. Everybody say, to bring you in
-
formation. To bring you in formation. So what
-
is getting ready to happen? So Philippians 2
-
tells you, work out your own salvation with reverence.
-
But then Hebrews, but that's verse 13 in chapter
-
2 of Philippians. It says, God works in you both
-
to will and to do of his good pleasure, which
-
means to the degree that God works in, you got
-
to work it out. And in some cases, God's got
-
to work some stuff out before he's got room to
-
work some stuff in. Look at somebody say, God's
-
fixing to work some stuff out so he can work
-
some stuff in. Look at somebody and say, it's
-
going to require in your mind some things you
-
thought, some things you believed. You're going
-
to be more than converted. Some things are going
-
to collapse. What things were gained to me, I
-
counted loss for Christ. Yes, I count all things
-
lost to have this excellent, intimate, firsthand,
-
first contact, personal, intimate relationship
-
with Christ. For whom I suffered the loss of
-
all things. What was the scripture? You got illuminated
-
and you experienced loss. That I might know him
-
in the power of his resurrection, the fellowship
-
of his sufferings. Being conformed to his death?
-
Death is collapse. So I have to go through a
-
period of collapse to know the resurrected Christ.
-
What is collapsing? The things that I believe
-
that won't get me where the Father wants to take
-
me. The things that I believe that are not contributing
-
to the building, the infrastructure that's necessary.
-
That will keep me from being the vessel and have
-
the ability to carry the weight of what we call
-
the glory. So here's what I want to encourage
-
you. If you feel, if you feel like you are failing,
-
you are wrong. Ready? The disorientation that
-
you feel is a result of a transition. The reason
-
you feel uncertainty is because you have never
-
been this way before. You don't know what to
-
expect. You don't know. Your map worked for them,
-
but now you're in new territory. Here's the thing.
-
Tomorrow will be better than today. I'm trying
-
to close. I keep trying to close. I keep, I'm
-
trying to close. But you know, Kim Clement said
-
something. He said, somewhere in the future,
-
you look a whole lot better than you do right
-
now. He was rapping. Look at somebody say, somewhere
-
in the future, you look a whole lot better than
-
you do right now. Everybody say it. Somewhere
-
in the future, you look a whole lot better than
-
you do right now. One more time. Somewhere in
-
the future. You look a whole lot better than
-
you do right now. So Joshua says, sanctify yourself
-
today for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders.
-
