Welcome to the Life Bible Church podcast. We

-
To find service times and watch messages online,
-
see our website at lifebiblechurch .org. Now,
-
enjoy this week's message. Praise the Lord. Amen.
-
Remain standing for just a moment. Lift your
-
hands with me. Father, thank you so much. For
-
this wonderful place where you're so welcomed.
-
And now, Lord God, we turn our attention to the
-
wonderful presence of the Holy Spirit. We thank
-
you that he was poured out upon us because Jesus
-
so beautifully removed all the barriers by removing
-
our sin. Thank you, Lord, that we can have access
-
to the Father. But I do take my right to say
-
in this room here tonight, the anointing of God
-
shall destroy every yoke and remove every bondage.
-
In this room here tonight, I release to the very
-
molecules of the air that we breathe healing
-
anointing in this room for that which has come
-
to destroy. Has been removed. And now the filling
-
of God's presence. Into the very atmosphere.
-
Is even the healing power. That shall bring deliverance.
-
As people breathe. In this house. From this point
-
on. Now Father we thank you. That something amazing
-
is happening right now. As we speak. And we yield
-
to it. And this is the presence. The anointing.
-
And it shall become. more tangible, more real,
-
more alive with each moment we minister and speak.
-
And for that, we give you praise. Amen, amen,
-
amen. You may be seated. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah.
-
Well, it's our privilege, my wife Erin and I.
-
Erin, stand up for a moment. So glad she gets
-
to travel. We started out traveling together
-
with Kenneth Hagin Sr. years ago. And in what
-
was called the Ramus Singers and Band, which
-
was his group. And of course, you know, we were
-
the crusade team. So you learn to do everything,
-
you know, from catching the folks. I think in
-
those years, you know, we would have meetings
-
of 10 ,000 people and meetings of 22 ,000 registered,
-
10 to 15 ,000 a night in the big civic centers.
-
And he would ask folks, who wanted to get ministered
-
to, and sometimes there'd be 2 ,000 and 3 ,000
-
of those people that would stand up. And back
-
in those days, we weren't smart enough to have
-
10 or 12 or 20 men to catch one and rotate, so
-
we caught them all. So my partner in crime, one
-
of the other guys in the group, he was behind
-
me, and we just worked seamlessly. I caught the
-
body, he caught the head. And we just, one line,
-
another line, another line, and we would catch
-
sometimes 2 ,000, 3 ,000 people. The only thing
-
I wanted to do is get up and just ask everybody
-
to go on a fast for the rest of the week. But
-
you know, you'd have some of the strangest things
-
happen. There's times I caught a suit, but no
-
one was in it. You know, you get the jacket and
-
the guy's gone. Another time I caught hair, but...
-
And then I didn't know what was the bangs and
-
what were the... I didn't know how to put it
-
back on. That dear little lady was laying down
-
there and she went like this. Reached up and
-
grabbed it and stuck it back and went right back
-
down. So we could stand here all night and tell
-
you stories about that. But we just had a tremendous,
-
a wonderful time as younger folks, you know,
-
traveling with Brother Hagin and learning from
-
him. And it was just wonderful. And then, of
-
course, we start a family. We've got three. girls
-
and young ladies now, and they're doing tremendously
-
well. We've got five grandchildren, and the sixth
-
is on the way in the next month and a half, another
-
little girl. So we've got three boys. We'll have
-
three girls, and we just love them to pieces.
-
All of you grandparents, you know what I'm talking
-
about. Somehow or another, it's just really,
-
really awesome. Praise the Lord. And having the
-
little boy first. was so awesome to me. I mean,
-
two of my three girls can throw a really good
-
football, but then I was able to really get that
-
into my grandchild. So one afternoon he took
-
off running at his mom who was sitting on the
-
floor and put his head in her chest. And she
-
just looked around as she gasped for breath and
-
said, Dad, what'd you do? And I said, I taught
-
him how to tackle. I'm sorry. And I didn't teach
-
him who to tackle, but... He decided his mom
-
was, anyhow. So those are fun moments, praise
-
the Lord. And we're just enjoying, again, we're
-
all those years that Erin just gave of herself
-
to be a wonderful mom and take care of the kids.
-
Now we get to continue to travel together and
-
do ministry together, praise the Lord. So it's
-
wonderful to be with you. Your pastors are amazing,
-
amen? Pastor Brad and Jenny. And they just have
-
such a good spirit about them. I'm not done asking
-
them questions. I am learning all I can learn.
-
Praise the Lord. And I see the anointing on them,
-
the presence of God in a place like this. You
-
know, we travel so much and most of the time
-
you have to bring your own anointing. I don't
-
know if you know what that means. That just means
-
I can't necessarily count on, you know, the worship
-
or anyone else to help me. And so I have to come
-
loaded all by myself. You know what I mean? But
-
here, it's just so wonderful to have a presence.
-
Amen. Amen. And so I'm going to enjoy every little
-
bit of it. And then to be with the two fellas
-
here, Dr. Greg Hood. And you just blessed me
-
so much, sir. I really, really enjoyed that today.
-
And then he is so normal. But, you know, he's
-
hick, though. I get that. And most rednecks are
-
real normal. That's the good part about him.
-
You can have a real natural conversation with
-
him. And you can. And I'm gleaning off of him
-
as well. And then my dear friend, Bishop Tony
-
Kemp, never ceases to amaze me. His sermons,
-
I can't write fast enough. And then half of what
-
I write, I have to go back and look at it again.
-
Does anybody know what I'm talking about? He's
-
a little bit like E .W. Kenyon to me. Where you
-
read one page and then you say, you know, if
-
I really want to get this, I need to read that
-
same page two or three more times. Because it's
-
simple, but it's deep. And it carries weight.
-
How many of you are enjoying the ministers that
-
have been ministering to you? Thank you, Lord.
-
Thank you, Lord. The body of Christ is very vast.
-
And, you know, if you stay in just one little
-
group, you miss out on so much. And Aaron and
-
I are so thankful that we are at this conference.
-
And I also wanted to say to the musicians and
-
to the staff, thank you for doing what you do.
-
I understand. We have been in the HELPS ministry
-
for a long time with Brother Hagin. We never
-
asked for anything, but we worked our tails off
-
to provide an atmosphere for the people. And
-
I see what you're doing. And thank you so much
-
for all of it. Even to those that are blessing
-
us with the food that you bless us with. Thank
-
you so much. It means a lot to us. And it certainly
-
makes it easy for us to give our best. Amen?
-
All right. So just a few thoughts here. I've
-
got some product out there. And it's okay if
-
I take it all home. But, you know, you don't
-
know me. And I realize that. And I know you're
-
looking at me a little strange. I'm going to
-
work on that for just in a couple minutes, okay?
-
Just in case you enjoy what you're hearing tonight,
-
we've got some things you could take home with
-
you. So this one right here is our latest book
-
called What's Next, Papa? It's all about, and
-
it comes actually from some of those experiences
-
with my grandchildren. You know, you can't just
-
play with them once. You can't do one fun thing.
-
You're stuck for hours. What's next, Grandpa?
-
What are we going to do next, Grandpa? And then
-
the next one comes. And the next one, what are
-
we going to do, Grandpa? And if they jump on
-
your back once, well, you have to have them on
-
your back for at least 30 or 40 minutes. Well,
-
what's the possibility it's supposed to be that
-
way with us and God? In other words, have we
-
bought into an idea of Christianity where it's
-
just more religious, where the idea is to get
-
here at 10 o 'clock on a Sunday into a building
-
instead of doing life with Jesus? And enjoying
-
the presence of the Holy Ghost like all day long.
-
Is it possible that we can pray without ceasing?
-
Which means to interact with God constantly.
-
We've got some wonderful testimonies. We've got
-
a YouTube channel called Adventures in Grace
-
where we tell all kinds of testimonies of just
-
normal people that have now begun to experience
-
God regularly throughout the week. So their Christianity
-
is not tied to just how much they study, how
-
much they pray, whether or not their attendance
-
is perfect at their church. It's tied to an ongoing
-
living relationship where they're experiencing
-
God by acknowledging him and looking for him
-
in their life. If you're going to seek and find,
-
you have to look. If you don't look, you won't
-
find because that's not how you seek. You know
-
you've got a whole world against you to seek
-
and look and find God on a daily basis. Amen.
-
And this world is vying for the affections of
-
your heart. And I'm telling you, it's very, very
-
simple to experience God. It's just not easy.
-
What do you mean by that? Your patterns, habits,
-
and routines will come against you to experience
-
something so simple that you just haven't known
-
could be real. And to change those habits, patterns,
-
and routines is going to take some consistency.
-
We've got another book out there called The Miraculous
-
Gospel of John. It's a commentary to the Gospel
-
of John. This commentary is tainted a little
-
bit towards why did Jesus say what he said? Why
-
did he do what he did? If I can get into his
-
mind and think what he did or said before he
-
said it and did it, I can actually duplicate
-
it because we are required to do the works of
-
Jesus. Amen. Life University uses this at one
-
of their textbooks and so we're thankful for
-
that. It's really, really helping people. A real
-
good book here. It's small. And it's easy to
-
read, but it's pretty dynamic. It's called Identity
-
Crisis. And without saying too much, I think
-
the world really needs that book and others like
-
it in the day we're living. People are really
-
struggling to find out what's real. And even
-
us Christians have to ask ourselves over all
-
the years that we've done Christianity, how's
-
it working for you? Now that seems a little bit
-
snotty, but at the same time, if it's not working
-
for you, then we need to do something about that.
-
And it's very interesting how we can go for years
-
and years and years and somehow within the human
-
psyche is the ability to bury what you don't
-
like about yourself and what's not working so
-
that you can get up on another day and somehow
-
look yourself in the face and convince yourself
-
that you like you. But the moment you're willing
-
to expose who you are is the moment you're willing
-
or you're going to have the opportunity to experience
-
God. I live by this. If you're not willing to
-
be wrong, you'll never be right. If you're not
-
willing to lose something, you'll never have
-
it. If you can't die, you will not know what
-
it's like to live. You've got to be willing to
-
die. Come on, there's other religions that think
-
that there's 72 virgins on the other side of
-
life that are willing to blow themselves up,
-
and us Christians are so afraid to put ourselves
-
out there. Come on, like A .W. Tozer said about
-
100 years ago. He said real faith is where you
-
put yourself on purpose in a position where you
-
can't go back. Pseudo -faith is where you have
-
a way out just in case God fails you. One translation
-
of Hebrews 11 .1 says now faith is betting your
-
life on the unseen realities of God. Now that
-
moves me. I don't know if it moves you. In other
-
words, I believe there's something out there
-
and I'm willing to take a jump. right off the
-
plank and put myself in a position where I go
-
under or I go over, but tally -ho, here we go.
-
And you've got to be able to step beyond yourself
-
if you want to find what you can't find with
-
you. Well, thank you, praise the Lord, for all
-
that enthusiasm. We might just continue. I'll
-
tell you a personal story that happened in August
-
just to give you an idea where we're going. I
-
was running up my driveway and I've been healthy,
-
very healthy, pretty much all my life. There's
-
a couple of things that happened in my life,
-
but thank the Lord, the Lord's touched my body.
-
And I've moved past those things years ago. I'm
-
running up the driveway and for the first time
-
in my life, it felt like somebody, as far as
-
my heart's concerned, my heart's always been
-
fine. It felt like somebody reached inside my
-
heart, grabbed it and just wanted to break it
-
right in half. And I was, I lost all my breath.
-
The pain was so sharp. It drove me almost to
-
my knees. I caught myself on my knees. I had
-
no breath in me. And I said out of my mouth,
-
oh Lord, this isn't so good. And I said it with
-
a smile on my face. And I made it enough to reach
-
over while I was trying to get a breath and took
-
my pulse. My pulse went. And then stopped. And
-
that was my pattern. And when I had that, I said,
-
Lord, this isn't so good either. And I just smiled.
-
You say, why'd you smile? Because God don't make
-
bad hearts. And this is a lie. And this isn't
-
true. And it can't be true. And it can't have
-
anything to do with me unless. I empower it.
-
And if I empower it, that means I yield to it.
-
When a temptation comes, does that mean you sin?
-
No. Symptoms are to sickness what a temptation
-
is to sin. A symptom isn't sickness until you
-
believe it is. Why? Because himself took my infirmity
-
and bore my sickness. And either that's true
-
or it's not. And if it is true, then this which
-
has been taken can't be real. Come on, even the
-
movie Divergent. Isn't it terrible that we'll
-
watch a movie and get more sometimes out of a
-
movie? Spiritually than you do at 10 of the best
-
churches in the world? And that girl, you know,
-
in Divergent. She's going through the little
-
serum that's put into her neck so she goes through
-
the little testing of the thing that would scare
-
her or some of her fears and they're put up on
-
a screen and it's kind of played against her
-
to see how she's going to react and she's out
-
in a big field and there's crows circling getting
-
ready to come and attack her and in that field
-
it's real swampy and there's some branches in
-
the field that are on fire. And the crows come
-
and begin to peck at her and she begins to move
-
and she does right into the swamp and she falls
-
down right next to a little body of water. And
-
those crows peck at her and peck at her and peck
-
at her. And she looks into the water. She sees
-
her reflection and says, this isn't real. And
-
immediately goes into the water. She comes up
-
on the other side in a little Houdini plexiglass
-
with water coming in from the top enclosed where
-
it's going to drown her. She takes her last breath,
-
goes down in, looks at her reflection, takes
-
her finger and says, this isn't real and taps
-
on and the glass shatters and she comes out of
-
it. Then asked by the guy that puts her in that,
-
how did you do that? And when I saw that, I said,
-
that's exactly what's being role played to us
-
on a daily basis. All kinds of worldliness that
-
doesn't have tangibility to it unless we give
-
it our power. Well, I got myself into the house.
-
I never even thought about calling an ambulance.
-
Why? Because it can't be real. Did you tell your
-
wife? Why would I need to? It can't be real.
-
I went about my day. Four hours later, I still
-
have all the symptoms. But I know it has no power.
-
I laid across the bed and in came my wife. Just
-
taking a moment just to get quiet. Because the
-
first thing I did when I got in my house is I
-
went into my room, I got quiet and I found God.
-
It's amazing what happens when you find him.
-
Because his perspective on what's going on looks
-
a lot different than the worldly perspective
-
of what your eyes see. And he made me to know
-
everything was just fine. And as long as he's
-
involved, that means I have a manifestation.
-
People ask me all the time, how come people died?
-
My aunt was the greatest Christian there was
-
in the church. She was a woman full of faith
-
and she died believing God. And I have to tell
-
them, this is the reason why. Every healing has
-
the Holy Ghost involved. And if she wasn't in
-
some way, shape or form, you didn't involve the
-
Holy Spirit. You weren't connected. He's the
-
manifester. He's what makes it work. He's the
-
one that produces the product. You've got to
-
be connected to him. When you are, things change.
-
We've got a whole book that shows us from cover
-
to cover, God never fails. So if you're not making
-
headway, you've got to step back and find God.
-
A friend of my mom, she called me. She's got
-
a tumor. It's growing and it's bleeding. And
-
she said to me on the phone, I'm doing more than
-
I've ever done before. I'm reading more, praying
-
more, confessing more. What am I supposed to
-
do? And isn't it interesting that her identity
-
to God had to do with what she was doing, not
-
at all what Christ has done. And she wanted me
-
in the midst of telling me she's doing more to
-
tell her to do something else. So I said to her
-
without thinking, and that usually works best
-
for me. I said, for the next two weeks, don't
-
read your Bible, don't pray. And I said, don't
-
confess a thing. And she got quiet on the other
-
end of the phone. And when she came back, she
-
said, can you repeat that, please? And I laughed
-
like you did. I said, it really wasn't that difficult.
-
All I said is the next two weeks, don't read
-
your Bible, don't pray, and don't confess a thing.
-
And then she snapped at me. What am I supposed
-
to do? And I said, find God. She said, what do
-
you mean? I said, well, if God were actually
-
involved in what you're doing, you wouldn't have
-
a tumor. And then she called my mom and she said,
-
I'm not supporting your son anymore. And then
-
a month later, she died. So that doesn't mean
-
you have to support me. Turn your Bibles over
-
to Genesis chapter two. Oh, we've been enjoying
-
ministry. And at the same time, we stay on our
-
knees all the time. I had someone that knew me
-
30 years ago preaching like a wild man in prayer
-
and healing school. And she said, you're just
-
as passionate now as you ever were, if not more.
-
How do you keep that? I said, well, we minister
-
to the sick. And I said, with all the wonderful
-
things we see, we still see people die. And I
-
said, that's what keeps me on my face. There's
-
more to learn. There's more to understand. There's
-
more of this presence than we walk in on a regular
-
basis. We've not tipped the iceberg. A friend
-
of mine who went home every single night and
-
found out how to go. That's important. Because
-
if you find out how to go home and experience
-
God, it's just like going anywhere else. Like
-
if I know how to get to Dr. Hood's house and
-
he's given me an open invitation, well, I could
-
show up in a couple of days. I could show up
-
three days in a row because I know how to get
-
there. So he would go back every single night,
-
every single night, every single night, all night
-
long. And he was a cowboy. Looked just like Wild
-
Bill Hickok. Tell them where home is. Home is
-
heaven. He'd leave his body and go home. He spent
-
all night long in the presence of God, Jesus,
-
and the Holy Ghost. He called the guys. Said,
-
I went home last night with the guys. He was
-
taking his dog, his new dog, to a training facility
-
for three months and his dog was his best friend
-
until I came along. Oh, he didn't like people
-
at all. Every test he took said does not work
-
well with people. But the Lord told me to work
-
on the ranch for free and just honor him, bless
-
him. And we developed a relationship and one
-
day he looked at me and he said, don't tell anybody
-
I said this. He said, but I really like you.
-
You're my best friend. That meant a lot. And
-
he was taking his dog to a facility for three
-
months. And his dog was his best friend. And
-
he was going a little faster than he thought
-
he was going. And a police officer pulled him
-
over. And the policeman, you know, said, roll
-
down your window. And he rolled it down about
-
that much. Police officer looked inside and said,
-
sir, do you know how fast you're going? And he
-
said, officer, I really don't care. And the officer
-
said, you don't care? He said, no, sir, I don't
-
care. He said, why don't you care? He said, because
-
I'm taking my dog to a facility for three months.
-
That's my best friend. He said, I'm a little
-
melancholy right now. I don't care how fast I'm
-
going. He said, well, you're going 97 in a 45.
-
He said, well, actually, I thought I was on the
-
highway. He said, that'd be 97 in a 75. I'd still
-
pull you over. He said, now don't you care? He
-
said, no, I don't care. He said, you don't care
-
if I give you a ticket? Do you know how much
-
it's going to be? He said, somewhere between
-
$250 and $300. He said, well, actually, you're
-
very accurate. You don't care? He said, no, I
-
don't care. Give me the ticket. And then he said
-
this. He said, I guess the guys just have a really
-
warped sense of humor. They think this is really
-
funny while I'm spending time with them that
-
I would get pulled over by you. The police officer
-
says, guys, who's in that truck with you? He
-
said, officer, it's a truck. You can see everything.
-
It's just a dog and I. He said, then who are
-
the guys? He said, that be God, Jesus, and the
-
Holy Ghost. And he goes, oh, you can't talk about
-
God like that. He said, yes, you can. He said,
-
that's disrespectful. He said, not when you spend
-
time with him, it's not. And he said, what are
-
you talking about? And they got into this theological
-
argument for about five minutes. And all of a
-
sudden, the cop comes out and says, well, I'll
-
tell you what, if you really know them, like
-
you say you know them, do you think they'd help
-
me? Because I can't hardly lift my arm. I busted
-
it up in the force. He said, I can't get it only
-
about that high. And BJ said, well, I'll tell
-
you what, I'm going to tell you exactly how to
-
get it healed. He said, but you got to listen
-
to everything I say. By this time, he rolled
-
the window down the rest of the way. He said,
-
now back up from the car. And he said, let me
-
ask you a couple questions. Did you have a right
-
to pull me over? He said, yes, I did. Did you
-
have a right to give me a ticket? He said, well,
-
of course I do. Under law, I can give you a ticket.
-
He said, could you even take my car with how
-
fast I was going? He said, I could. He said,
-
then with the same feelings and emotions that
-
give you the right. to do what you said you could
-
just do, you step away from the car and you ask
-
them with the same feelings of absoluteness and
-
the same emotions of surety, heal my shoulder.
-
He said, but if you can't give them that same
-
feeling and emotion, don't waste their time and
-
don't waste mine. That police officer stood back
-
and said, God, I'm asking. He said, do you see
-
what he just did? He said, I see what he just
-
did. He said, my wife's never going to believe
-
it. He said, slow down. He just went back into
-
his car and drove off. There's more to a relationship
-
with God than we've thought. And it certainly
-
isn't just showing up in the building. Let me
-
make a statement. Everything you do, like coming
-
to church, which I ask you, please keep coming,
-
especially here. God's here. Reading your Bible,
-
please keep reading your Bible. That's going
-
to keep you on the straight and narrow. Praying,
-
yes. Worshiping, confessing the word. All of
-
those things you don't have to do. But all of
-
those things will make him more real to you where
-
you can actually walk with him and talk with
-
him. And anything that contributes to the realness
-
of God in your life, you need to do it. But if
-
you're reading and you're studying and you're
-
confessing for some religious idea that makes
-
you feel like you've done what you're supposed
-
to do for the day, now everything's just going
-
to be perfect, you're missing out on the idea
-
that God wants to do life with you every single
-
step of the way. He doesn't want to just have
-
your fanfare for one hour and then, okay, see
-
you later. Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 in the Message
-
Bible says, in everything you do and everywhere
-
you go, listen to his voice, which means all
-
day long he's speaking. Are you listening? Amen,
-
amen. Let me just help some of you right now
-
because the way that you're looking at me, you're
-
God will even heal you and touch you tonight
-
whether you like me or not. You don't have to
-
like the preacher to get healed. I'm planning
-
on being a burr in your saddle tonight. It's
-
my job to take away all your options. You won't
-
like that. And leave you with Jesus only. So
-
for any reason, if you choose to deny him, at
-
least you'll know you did. Come on, we're going
-
to have a good time. But I'm watching people
-
say, Ethel, did we come to the right service?
-
I'm in healing school. One of the students, they
-
went ahead and had their mom come. She sat in
-
one service with me. She said to her daughter,
-
she said right away, she goes, I don't think
-
I like this guy. And about 10 minutes later,
-
she nudged again. She goes, honey, I don't think
-
I like this guy. And just as she said that, I
-
said, you, right there. And she turned around
-
to go, me? I said, yeah, you. Do you want to
-
be healed? Now, she just said, I don't like you.
-
I didn't know that. If I'd have known that, my
-
New Yorker might have come out, you know. Are
-
you talking about me? I said, you right there.
-
Do you want to be healed? She said, yes. Instantly,
-
God touches her and heals her. I found out later,
-
you don't have to like me. God touched you. But
-
I'm endeavoring to move you. I don't want you
-
to be the same in the way that you came. Amen?
-
So let's let God touch us in these next few moments,
-
and we'll experience the presence of the Lord.
-
Now, in this room, there'll be many shifts of
-
the atmosphere. And you'll sense it in just a
-
couple minutes. God will start touching people.
-
Gross will start disappearing. This is the way
-
I know him. Now, I grew up Baptist, so I didn't
-
know him at all. I knew about him. And he was
-
my savior, but we weren't taught to interact
-
with him. I'd be on my way to school as a little
-
tiny kid, say, you know, I wonder why such and
-
such, and all of a sudden an answer comes, well,
-
you know, it's just because of this. I thought
-
to myself, man, you're pretty smart. See, no
-
one told me God speak back to you. Now, at the
-
same time, I'd get anybody I could saved. Four
-
years of age, I knew the Roman road. I got saved
-
as a four -year -old. Been saved for 60 years.
-
I'd go into my friend's house. I'd take them
-
into the closet. You say, that's what the preacher
-
said. You go into the closet if you're going
-
to pray. I'd take them into the closet. They
-
were small closets, but we were small kids. And
-
I'd preach them the Roman road. All sin falling
-
short of the glory of God. None unrighteous,
-
no, not one. If you confess through the mouth
-
and believe with your heart, thou shalt be saved.
-
With the heart, man believes. None unrighteous,
-
the confession is made in salvation. Whosoever
-
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
-
saved. And I'd ask him, do you want to receive
-
Jesus? Those that said yes, it was a real easy
-
salvation. Those that said no, I'd hold their
-
head down until they said yes. I didn't know
-
how good I was. I had 100 % salvations. If I'd
-
have grown as big as Tony, I'd still have 100
-
% salvations. Beat hell right out of you. Get
-
heaven in you. Bless God. Don't you say no. You
-
say yes right now. That cowboy BJ, he came to
-
one of my meetings doing nine Mondays in a row.
-
We had 121 people that signed up to be chaplains
-
at a hospital and I'm training them to release
-
the anointing. That's what we're talking about
-
tonight. He showed up for the second one. He's
-
not born again. Now he's a real cowboy. He has
-
a real problem with wannabes. A wannabe cowboy
-
wears boots, has buckle, but it has a jacked
-
up truck you can't bail hay from. And they live
-
in an apartment in the city, not on a ranch.
-
So he doesn't like that because it does a bad
-
thing for the real cowboy, see. It lessens the
-
real. And then he would talk to me about wanting
-
to be a Christian. Well, I won't go there, but
-
anyhow. He walks in, walks up to me and says,
-
wow, that was really good. My name's B .J. I
-
shook his hand. My dad taught me to shake a good
-
hand. Amen. My name's Jim Hockett. He said, man,
-
that was really good. I appreciate that very
-
much. I said, B .J. Why'd you come to meetings
-
like this? He said, I want to heal horses like
-
you're healing people. I said, well, you'll do
-
better on horses than I do on people. I says,
-
horses aren't thinking. I got to change the way
-
these folks think. Right? Right? Horse just stands
-
there. I said, would you like to receive Jesus?
-
He goes like this. No, I just want to heal horses.
-
I said, okay. I said, I'll see you next week.
-
He says, yes, you will. He came that next week
-
after the service. He beelined it right back.
-
He said, man, Jim, this is really good stuff.
-
This is good stuff. And I said, now we got a
-
problem. He said, what's the problem? I said,
-
everything you're saying is good is borrowed
-
material. I said, if you like what I'm saying,
-
you really like the guy it comes from. And I
-
said, this time I'm not asking. I'm telling you.
-
Give me your hand right now. You're going to
-
repeat these words after me and you're going
-
to mean it from your heart and you're going to
-
get saved. Well, when I said it like that, he
-
goes, okay. I grabbed his hand, a simple little
-
prayer, and I said, amen. He said, amen. And
-
then I leaned down because he was a couple steps
-
below me. He's 6 '3", I'm 6. I leaned down and
-
said, it's going to get real spooky from here.
-
And then I walked away. And he's over there going,
-
what, what, what? That next week he came and
-
said, you're never going to believe what happened.
-
I said, what do you mean? He said, well, we got
-
a horse on the ranch. He said, it's got an eighth
-
of an inch homeless eye and it's blind, got bone
-
spurs and arthritis. He said, I prayed for it.
-
Well, we hadn't got to the prayer part yet. I
-
said, what'd you say? He said, I put my arms
-
around and said, God says you're fine. I said,
-
was anybody around when you said that? He goes,
-
oh, yeah. He said, veterinarians around, cowboys,
-
cowgirls around. I said, what did they think
-
of your prayer? He said, well, they cussed me
-
out. I said, what did you say to them? He said,
-
I cussed them out. I said, what happened? He
-
said, in three days' time, the hole covered up,
-
the horse can see, bone spurs are gone, arthritis
-
is gone. He said, get this, brand new enamel
-
on all its teeth. Now, see, somebody said, well,
-
I don't know if I believe that. Well, see, you
-
know, in the horse world, they actually check
-
up on that stuff. So within a week, he got a
-
call from OSU Medical Center saying, bring that
-
horse down here. And after eight hours, that
-
little Baptist lady, 4 '11", came out to a 6
-
'3 cowboy, stuck her finger in the air and said,
-
who do you think you are playing God? He looked
-
down and said, ma 'am, a little too late for
-
that. The horse is already healed. I thought
-
to myself, Lord, this guy's experiencing God.
-
That next week he came to me and said, now, you
-
are not going to believe what just happened.
-
I said, lay it on me. What happened? He said,
-
I'm in the feed store. He said, the owner's in
-
the back getting my order. In walks this woman
-
hollering, somebody help me. Somebody please
-
help me. Help me. I said, I walked over and said,
-
ma 'am, what do you need? She said, it's my cat.
-
I said, you're what? She said, my cat. I said,
-
what'd you do to your cat? She said, I slammed
-
the door in his head. I don't think it's doing
-
very good, sir. Sir, could you come take a look
-
at it? He said, well, I'll take a look at it.
-
They went out to the car, and it's in the trunk,
-
so she didn't kill it. She smothered it, you
-
know? The trunk lid opens up. There's a cat laying
-
on its side with his tongue. hanging out of its
-
mouth. And in his good Oklahoma colloquial expression,
-
he said, ma 'am, that cat's as dead as a can
-
of corned beef. Still haven't figured that one
-
out yet, but I don't think that's good. She said
-
to him, well, I'm a Christian. Now, what I didn't
-
tell you is this guy's a genius. 17 author books
-
in Barnes and Noble on horses. Three earned PhDs.
-
He aced his SATs. He aced his ACTs. He reads
-
5 ,000 words per minute with 97 % retention.
-
He read the Bible as a nine -year -old in four
-
hours from cover to cover. A genius. The government
-
wanted him in a think tank and he gave him the
-
middle finger. Sorry if that's descriptive, but
-
that's what we're dealing with here. This guy's
-
off the chart. So you got to understand something
-
about smart people. You know, I didn't know this
-
until I met a smart person. I mean, he even got
-
upset about the 3 % that he doesn't retain. I
-
said, well, that's my part. Leave it alone. When
-
you're real smart, things have to add up. See,
-
folks that aren't as sharp, two plus two can
-
equal what it needs to equal to make what needs
-
to happen, happen. Like that's why people say
-
we're playing a game. Oh, we changed that rule.
-
Well, then that doesn't make the game what the
-
game is. Well, yes, it does. We just, no. See,
-
when you're real smart, the rules define the
-
game. So the rules have to stay the rules or
-
you've changed the game. Might as well change
-
the name to it. See, two plus two has to equal
-
four. It can't equal five just because you want
-
it to. So when she said, I'm a Christian, he's
-
thinking, if she knows God and she's got a dead
-
cat, something's wrong. Because God made the
-
cat. Like he would like it more than her. No,
-
I know. I know. I get this. I understand. See,
-
when you're a Christian, you let so many things
-
go because you don't become accurate. So you
-
think to yourself right now, well, I'm a dog
-
person anyhow. There's too many cats. I mean,
-
is it a really big deal? You can find a stray
-
anywhere. But when you're accurate, things have
-
to add up. So he looked and he said, so? And
-
then she said, well, I prayed. Now it's worse.
-
Because you're connected to God. You actually
-
asked him to do something about the cat, but
-
it didn't happen, which means it's not God's
-
fault. Hello, it's not the cat's fault. It's
-
dead as a can of corned beef. So it has to be
-
the lady. So he said, what'd you pray? And she
-
got real misty -eyed. She said, I pray God have
-
mercy on my cat. He said, mercy? It needs life.
-
It's like dead. And she said, I don't know anything
-
about that. And he said, I know. To which she
-
said, well, I don't know what you mean. And he
-
said, and this is his first prayer for a human
-
now. He said, ma 'am, I'm not praying for the
-
cattest cattest cat I've ever seen. He said,
-
but I will pray for you. And he put his hand
-
on her shoulder. And these are the words he prayed.
-
God, please, please open her eyes just enough
-
so she can believe just a little. And then you
-
can be God. In other words, you're not able to
-
be who you are because she's in the way. So you
-
don't need to open her eyes like to see everything.
-
Just enough. So she can believe just a little.
-
You can be God. When he said that, it moved her.
-
When's the last time you've been moved? From
-
your heart. And she said, oh God, I do believe.
-
Meow. The cat sat up. And she looked at him and
-
said, it's a miracle. And he said, no, ma 'am,
-
this ain't no miracle. She said, yes, it is.
-
My cat was dead and now it's alive. This is a
-
miracle. And he said, no, ma 'am, that's not
-
a miracle. She said, well, if it's not, what
-
is a miracle? He said, the miracle here is you
-
being a Christian all these years. Today, you
-
finally believe God. Now, someone say, I don't
-
know if I believe that. Three days later, she
-
calls him hysterical. BJ, BJ, BJ, you can't believe
-
what just happened. What happened? And he says,
-
well, I took my cat to the vet. And my cat, or
-
the vet, scanned the cat. It was a cat scan.
-
It actually was. And the vet said, I don't know
-
what you did to crush the skull of this cat,
-
but I do not know. and have no knowledge of what
-
put the skull back together. And the vet began
-
to scan the rest of the cat. And as the vet did,
-
big old saucer tears started dropping from his
-
face. And she said, Doc, what's wrong? He said,
-
I spayed your cat years ago. All the female organs
-
are back in. Your cat can have kittens. To which
-
BJ said, ma 'am, I'll give you the money to get
-
a spade again. We don't need any more ugly cats
-
in Colton. Now I want to share something with
-
you because this guy caught on really quick to
-
something so simple. Genesis chapter two, verse
-
seven. And the Lord God formed man of the dust
-
of the ground and breathed into his nostrils
-
the breath of life and man became a living being.
-
So let's look at it this way. The Lord God formed,
-
so that means he had a physical body. The Lord
-
God made his physical body and then breathed
-
into the physical body. The breath of life. Now
-
here's an interesting thought. What if God was
-
in a trial run? Like he's making a human, but
-
he never made a human before. So you know what
-
it means? Kind of like Goldilocks. You know,
-
the porridge is a little bit too hot. The porridge
-
is a little bit too, oh, the porridge is just,
-
the bed is too hard. The bed is too soft. The
-
bed is just right. What if he was too porous
-
and God, and the breath went in and went, right
-
there. That didn't work. What if he was too non
-
-porous, like plastic, and God breathed the breath
-
in and he bounced right off it and took off somewhere
-
else? That didn't work either. God made the body
-
so perfect that he could breathe spirit inside
-
of it. It would not only be maintained inside,
-
but inside that body. The Spirit was able to
-
reveal itself to the outside at the same time.
-
That's pretty salty. You know what I'm talking
-
about? Amen? You know, we were years ago with
-
kids, you know, or girls playing volleyball.
-
We're in... Fort Worth, Texas in this high hotel.
-
And we're up there and Aaron opens the curtains,
-
goes, oh, there's one of my favorite stores.
-
So I came over to see what was the famous store.
-
And I kept looking, I look and I said, honey,
-
I don't see anything that would be your favorite
-
store. She says, right over there. I said, where?
-
She said, right over there. And I said, the container
-
store. And she said, I love the container store.
-
Would you like to go? And it's like, no. And
-
in about 40 minutes, I was walking through the
-
door with her. You saw that coming. And there
-
were big ones and there were little ones and
-
there were thin ones and there were thick ones
-
and there were deep ones and there were shallow
-
ones and there were red ones and blue ones and
-
green ones and white ones. When I took a look
-
at that, I said, this is what you like? She said,
-
yes, I love it. And she went into the store and
-
I said, I'll be right here up in the front, found
-
a chair. So I walked there and walked back and
-
I was a good husband. Amen. What? You guys don't
-
do that kind of stuff? Yeah, sure you do. God
-
made man as a container. His body is like a container.
-
It can contain God at the same time it can reveal
-
God. Now I want you to see this. This is very
-
important because tonight God's ministering to
-
people and you might think it's difficult to
-
be healed but God thinks very other. Why? Because
-
he made your body to receive of the presence
-
of God. And that presence is potentially in full
-
charge right here tonight. And if one person
-
would believe in it, we'll see things take place
-
right there in your seats before we ever minister
-
to you or lay hands on you. And this is just
-
normal. Why? Because Jesus already paid the price
-
for your healing 2 ,000 years ago. You don't
-
have to convince him to do something. Amen. He's
-
looking for somebody to believe. Why? Because
-
he made your body so porous and so perfectly
-
as a container that he can get in that body,
-
he can manipulate things, and he can then come
-
out of that body and reveal. A healing and a
-
deliverance where all of a sudden a tumor disappears
-
and an ear opens and an eye starts to see things
-
on your page that you couldn't see before unless
-
you had it about arm's length out here. And all
-
of a sudden hips are healed in this room and
-
bones start moving in this room and backs start
-
being healed and pain starts disappearing in
-
this room. Hearts are healed in this room. Livers
-
and kidneys start to work properly. A prostate's
-
healed in this room. Come on, as I'm speaking
-
right now, God's saying something to somebody
-
in this room. And surely if a horse can get healed,
-
and if a cat can get raised up from the dead,
-
no telling what could happen in a church like
-
this. So my next verse, it says, Genesis 2 .25,
-
and they were both naked, the man and the wife,
-
but were not ashamed. What does that tell you?
-
That tells me that they probably had clothes
-
on. You say, why does it tell you that? Because
-
Genesis 3, 7 says, then the eyes of both of them
-
were open and they knew that they were naked
-
and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves
-
covering. So all of a sudden they knew of their
-
nakedness once they sinned. And what does the
-
Bible tell us? For all have sinned and fallen
-
short of the, or you could say it like this,
-
all have sinned and lost their glory clothes.
-
God made man to walk in the glory. How do you
-
know that? For a couple of reasons. One of them
-
is he made us just like him and he walks in the
-
glory. Come on, I'm telling you. If God walked
-
like John Wayne, then Adam did too. This is what
-
attracted the devil to them is they had clothing
-
that he once wore. was. He knew the significance
-
of it because you really know something when
-
you've had it and then you've lost it. And when
-
you've lost it, you think, should have kept it
-
on. He was the anointed cherub until he sinned
-
before God. God took that clothing away and he
-
fell like lightning to the earth, hit the earth
-
in a big ball of dust. Now he's what? He doesn't
-
have the anointing. And he's able to go in that
-
garden and he sees two creatures that walk around
-
just like God and they're glowing in the presence.
-
Do you know that the unseen world sees what's
-
on us? You just happen to be looking in the mirror
-
and keep seeing your flesh. But the day you see
-
past your flesh and see your spirit is the day
-
that you rise up against everything that will
-
come against the anointing. Because then you
-
realize at that time, I've actually got something
-
that they can't stand. Praise the Lord. And you
-
start using it on purpose. God didn't make us
-
welcome mats to be walked all over. Amen. He
-
made us in his image and in his likeness. Listen,
-
listen, listen. Even a sinner by the name of
-
Cain had the ability to rule. The darkness that
-
was infiltrating his mind to murder his brother.
-
And he's not even saved. And you know what's
-
amazing about that story? He recognized the presence
-
of God as a sinner ready to commit murder and
-
he heard the voice of God in complete sentences.
-
Look at how far we've gone away from something
-
so simple that even someone under sin had it.
-
You have to understand, Adam and Eve and the
-
sons, they had a mind renewal, but from the opposite
-
direction. See, we live in this world. We only
-
know this world. We get saved and we have to
-
learn about our privileges and our rights and
-
renew our mind to who we really are in Christ
-
so that that which actually abides in us can
-
be used or made manifest. They knew God. They
-
understood God. They walked with God. And when
-
they sinned, they had to get their minds renewed
-
to the flesh and the world connection versus
-
the spirit and the God connection. So they still
-
retained the ability to hear him in complete
-
sentences. If we can just get the church to recognize
-
the presence of God and hear him in complete
-
sentences, we'll turn this world inside out and
-
upside down. Because the moment you've got firepower
-
behind you, you stop being so weenie about everything
-
and you'll walk out into the darkness. You'll
-
wade out into the muck and mire of Satan's kingdom
-
and destroy the works of the devil. I'm laying
-
across that bed. My wife walks in and I said,
-
honey, the reason why I'm laying here is because,
-
and I told her what happened as I ran up that
-
driveway. Now, back in March, I had a blood work
-
done. My blood work's always been so good that
-
when I turned 60 and the life insurance people
-
called me to say, we're raising your rates to
-
like $480 versus 70. I said, time out. Why would
-
you do that? Well, because now you're at an age.
-
I said, what if I'm really healthy? She said,
-
well, I understand that. I said, no, seriously,
-
what if I'm really healthy? And I began to sell
-
snow to an Eskimo. I said, you have no idea how
-
healthy I am. And I said, guess what? When you
-
have your personal, I don't know if we can, I
-
said, no, I actually know that you can. So when
-
you have your individual come and take my blood,
-
you're gonna find out how healthy I am and you're
-
gonna wanna extend my policy. And all of a sudden,
-
out of the blue, she said, you know what, we're
-
gonna send somebody to your house. I said, well,
-
that's just what I said. But anyhow, and we're
-
gonna take your blood and if you're really healthy,
-
we'll extend your policy. I'm thinking, I just
-
got through saying that. But anyhow, I let her
-
say it like she thought she came up with it,
-
okay? And someone comes to the house, they take
-
my blood. A couple of weeks later, she calls
-
me up and she says, you're really, really healthy.
-
We've extended your policy for 15 more years
-
at $76. I said, thank you very much. That's what
-
I was telling you. So for the first time, when
-
I got a report back, I had all this red bark
-
over there on my kidneys. I've never had any
-
problems with kidneys. But a doctor, a friend
-
of mine got a hold of that. They said, you got
-
some serious problems here and you only got a
-
couple of years before you're going to be, and
-
she's named all this stuff that's going to be
-
happening. We said, what'd you do? I went right
-
into the room where I got quiet and I found God.
-
Wow, that's become an amazing thing to do. I
-
practice it all the time. This is my body. Two
-
plus two equals four, four plus four equals eight,
-
eight plus eight equals 16, 16, 16, 32, 32, 32,
-
64. That's my mind. What's the rest of me? That's
-
me. That's the real me. And inside the real me,
-
is the real him. And if you'll practice that,
-
you can find him at a snap of a finger and immediately
-
hear his voice, recognize his presence, have
-
the word of the Lord. And I got in that place
-
that was just so nice. And all of a sudden I
-
looked at the Lord, the Lord looked at me and
-
I said, you're not moved about this one bit.
-
And he looked at me and he said, no, I'm really
-
chill about this. I said, well, then I am too.
-
Thank you very much. Never thought about it.
-
Another day, two and a half months later, We
-
were out in San Diego where my doctor friend
-
is. She said, I'm taking you over to Tijuana
-
to get you another test. She did, and it came
-
back a little bit better than the other one.
-
And then she said, I'm going to get you an MRI.
-
So she put me in an MRI. And that's in one of
-
those places when you go on through, you almost
-
think you're going to the other side. So I said,
-
hmm. You know, you heard people going through
-
a tunnel, and then they're on the other side.
-
But I came back. And the technician called her,
-
and this is what he said. I think we got the
-
wrong guy. She said, send me those reports. She
-
calls me up and she says, it's impossible. I
-
said, what? She said, you have two perfect kidneys.
-
I said, well, why wouldn't I? She said, Jim,
-
you don't understand. Your blood work and then,
-
this is a medical impossibility. I said, but
-
it's not impossible with God, right? So she knew
-
that story. So she walks in and this is what
-
she does. And I needed this because I'm a person
-
that moves by challenge. Like, challenge me.
-
So she walks in and puts her hands on me, and
-
she goes, hmm, hmm. And then she pats me. She
-
goes, no, you're good. Walks out. And I thought,
-
I am. Pushed myself up. Everything disappeared
-
instantly. Now, what are we talking about? The
-
tangibility of God. He's in this room. He's real.
-
The reason why they saw and were naked and now
-
ashamed is because when the glory left them,
-
they're left with their physical bodies. Paul
-
said over in 2 Corinthians chapter 5, he said,
2 Corinthians 5 chapter mention
-
I'm groaning. Why are you groaning, Paul? That's
-
a serious thing. Do you have a tummy problem?
-
Are you upset? He said, no. It's because I want
-
to take this mortality of mine and dunk it in
-
the sea of immortality. And he talked about what?
-
The glory being on his house, clothing, spiritual
-
clothing. That's what Adam, that's what Eve had.
-
When they sinned, they lost that clothing. Now,
-
guess what they're supposed to do? Now they've
-
got to walk around. And this is the world of
-
Adam that we all grew up in. The world of Adam
-
is the world of you doing what you need to do
-
in your earthly suit. To fend for yourself. They
-
didn't know how to make food. God made them food.
-
They didn't know how to make a shelter. God gave
-
them shelter. They didn't have to wear clothes.
-
God gave them clothes. On the way out, he slipped
-
them some leather. I like his thinking. Amen?
-
Now think for me. They walked out into a hostile
-
world and they've got to fend for themselves.
-
Now they're open to every suggestion under the
-
sun. And guess what they're leaning upon? Their
-
own ability. And that's the world that we've
-
perfected. And we think it's the real world,
-
but it's not. It's Adam's world. God was really
-
upset with the Adam's family. That's the reason
-
why Jesus wasn't the second Adam. He was the
-
last of the Adams. So he came to fulfill what
-
Adam messed up. Then he took the family down
-
into the grave and he didn't resurrect the Adam
-
family. He came out of the grave as a resurrected
-
and glorified Christ that as many as would receive
-
him, to them he gives power to become sons of
-
God, even to them that believe on his name, who
-
were born not of the flesh, not of blood, not
-
of the will of man, but were born, help me, of
-
God. God beings on this side of the cross. God
-
-men on this side of the cross. And what were
-
we clothed with? The glory. Come on, we're told
-
that if the unseen powers had known what they
-
were doing in 1 Corinthians 2, if they had known
-
what they were doing when they crucified the
-
Lord of glory, they never would have crucified
-
him because that glory was meant for our glory.
-
And the great mystery of the church is Christ
-
in you, the hope of glory. Now help me with this
-
for a few moments. When Brother Hagin said, I
-
want you to take over the prayer and healing
-
center, I said, are you going to help me? And
-
he laughed. He said, no, I'm not going to help
-
you. I said, seriously, you're not going to help
-
me? He said, no. I said, why would you say that?
-
He said, I had to get it on my own. You get it
-
on your own. I thought, all right, I'll get it
-
on my own. Bless God, I will. Now, he had an
-
open door for me and I would go over all the
-
time and share with him things that we understood.
-
But the first three months were horrible. I preached
-
my heart out until I could hardly talk, lost
-
my singing voice. We saw more people die than
-
live. It should have been a hospice home. We
-
just said next. Yeah, yeah, honestly. I mean,
-
I couldn't sleep at night for thinking how horrible
-
we were doing, not representing God in any way,
-
shape, or form, and yet preaching our hearts
-
out. Three months of that and I said, Lord, enough
-
of this. I'm going to find myself something else
-
to do if you can't help me. I said, here's the
-
deal. I've learned this because at that particular
-
time in the faith camp, we were saying things
-
like this. If you just had enough faith, you'd
-
get healed. Yeah, but it's the shepherd that
-
takes the sheep to either the good pasture or
-
the bad pasture, the good stream or the bad stream.
-
So I went before God and said things like this.
-
If you can change me, we can change Healing School.
-
I need you to fix me. And I laid on the floor,
-
didn't realize how good of a prayer that was.
-
And instantly, God began to give me revelation.
-
And within one month of that revelation, we showed
-
up at Healing School and the power of God started
-
dropping all over the room. We changed our voice.
-
People listen different. They expected to get
-
something. Just like in this room, if you start
-
checking yourself, you'll see that there's symptoms
-
that have disappeared already in this room. When
-
I shared to you that symptoms to sickness is
-
the same as temptation to sin, there's some of
-
you right there that rejected the symptoms that
-
are in your body, and there's a change happening
-
in your body right now. But now I've got to experiment
-
with things. Because I'm in the healing center,
-
things are beginning to turn around, and I've
-
got to experiment with the anointing. Remember,
-
we're containers. The presence can come into
-
us, but the presence can be revealed through
-
us. How do you know that? Look at Jesus on the
-
Mount of Transfiguration. He becomes the example
-
of someone that as he prayed, didn't say two
-
weeks into his prayer, didn't say four hours
-
into his prayer, as he prayed, how come it happened
-
so quickly? Because he would never allow himself
-
to be disconnected from the Father. Remember
-
what he said? I can of myself do nothing. Wait
-
a minute. He can do anything he wants to. How
-
could he say I can of myself do nothing? That
-
is to the degree that he emptied himself and
-
that is to the degree that he was filled. The
-
reason why most of us aren't filled very much
-
is because we don't empty ourselves very much.
-
He put himself at the disposal of his father
-
to say I will not make any choice while I'm on
-
this earth. Everything I see him do is what I
-
do. Everything I hear him say is what I say.
-
And to that degree that he emptied himself was
-
to that degree he was filled. So I began to experiment.
-
I'm preaching in a service. Service is over.
-
My hands got real hot. I'm sitting there rubbing
-
my hands like this. There's a little eight -year
-
-old boy all the way over there with that little
-
girl that's got the pink on right there, that
-
little sweet girl right there. He was way over
-
there. And I'm sitting right here. Pastor's taking
-
up the offering. And I'm thinking, Lord, I got
-
to get rid of this anointing somehow because
-
this is just like almost irritating. It was so
-
hot. Already ministered to the people. So I went
-
like this to him and he finally, I caught his
-
attention and he said, me? And I said, yes, you,
-
come here. So he comes all the way across like
-
this and he comes and he says, what do you want?
-
And I said, I'm sitting here all alone. Would
-
you sit with me for a couple of minutes? He said,
-
okay. And I said, sit right. And before he came,
-
I put my hand on the chair. And I said, I released
-
the anointing in this chair. And that power that
-
was hot went into the chair. My hand became normal.
-
There was redness in the center of my hand. It
-
became completely normal. I knew the power was
-
in the chair. I said, sit right here. And I pointed
-
to him where I put my hand. He sat down. I folded
-
my arms and crossed my legs. I looked down like
-
this. I just winked at him. Went to watch the
-
pastor like this. In about 10 seconds, I heard
-
these noises. And I leaned over and said, what
-
are you doing? He said, I don't know. I said,
-
why are you doing that? He said, I'm really,
-
really hot. I said, do you want to go back to
-
your mom and dad? He said, yes. And he ran real
-
quickly back to his mom and dad. I just wanted
-
to prove, see, that the anointing has the ability
-
to come out, go into something. When it goes
-
into something, if someone's innocent enough,
-
it'll come out. You don't know how good those
-
legs are, but you should find out. Hallelujah.
-
This presence is amazing. It's all around us
-
at all times. Jesus is walking through a crowd.
-
A woman reached us, touched the tassel. Something
-
came out of me. She knew in herself and felt
-
something went into me. Both of them felt something.
-
When Jesus said, who touched me? The disciples
-
looked around and said, well, Lord, everybody's
-
touching you. What do you mean who touched you?
-
But see, they weren't understanding that when
-
someone believes something, someone just believes
-
something. Wait a minute. I'm just giving you
-
the real simple deal here. Someone just believes
-
something. Someone just believes something. Someone
-
would believe over here that God's fallen on
-
them like rain, that symptoms don't mean what
-
you think they mean, that they're disappearing
-
right now, that tumors, praise the Lord, are
-
leaving, pains are leaving. Someone just believes
-
that. Power's released. Jesus stands, he lifts
-
his hand, and as he prays, glory starts coming
-
out of him. Listen very closely to this. When
-
I was in healing school, I wanted to focus on
-
something I could bet on 100 % of the time. You
-
say, what do you mean? I put my focus on the
-
anointing within instead of the anointing upon.
-
Well, weren't you operating in gifts? I didn't
-
even think about gifts. Because as long as I'm
-
operating with the anointed one, in other words,
-
the Holy Spirit that's within me, he's the giver
-
of the gifts. If I'm paying attention to him
-
and working with him, then most likely I'll operate
-
in and out of gifts, but I won't have to be mindful
-
of them. I'm mindful that I actually put... I'm
-
coming from Tallahassee Airport. I'm trying to
-
get to a service. I'm about 30 minutes late.
-
Our plane was delayed. And on the way going there,
-
because I had given some tip to somebody and
-
I had an extra couple dollars in my pocket, I
-
see a guy standing on the side of the road holding
-
a sign. And I thought, I know I'm late, but there's
-
no one here. I can quickly just go over. So I
-
pull over while I put my finger on the auto window
-
to come down. The window's down. Got my hand
-
in my pocket. I pull right up and give him the
-
money. And he does a little blessing on me like
-
this. And then I read his sign, which says, why
-
lie? I just want beer. And I thought, you dog,
-
you know. I wish I could have read that sign
-
before I gave you that money. But the point of
-
the story is, because I knew I had it, I could
-
get it. I got it somewhere. Hold on a second.
-
I don't have much time. Sorry, pal. I got to
-
go. See if you don't know where it is. Maybe
-
you do have it, but you don't know where it is.
-
Everything about Christianity. is recognition
-
and awareness. What are you aware of? What do
-
you recognize? Because what you're not aware
-
of, what you don't recognize, you won't use.
-
I said you won't use. The reason why I didn't
-
fold when I got the heart thing is because I
-
know too much. I'm willing to bet my life on
-
that that's a lie and that greater is he that's
-
in me than he that's in the world. And the moment
-
you don't care about dying, that's the moment
-
you can live. I put all my attention on the anointing
-
within. Why? Because I could control that. What
-
do you mean? Over in John chapter five, it says
-
the father gives the life to whom he will. And
-
he has given the son to have life in himself.
-
And he also gives to whom he will. What do you
-
mean? At my will, I can release life. Why? Because
-
he came that I might have life and have it. What?
-
More abundantly. In other words, I've got oodles
-
and oodles of this stuff to release from the
-
inside. Do you know what life is? It's called
-
zoe. You know what zoe means? Life in the absolute
-
sense. Do you know what life in the absolute
-
sense is? Have you ever studied absolute cold?
-
Cold isn't like 20 degrees below zero and you're
-
like, this is so cold. No, absolute cold is the
-
absence of any warmth whatsoever. If you stepped
-
into absolute cold immediately, you'd be gone.
-
Because it would suck out of your body every
-
ounce of warmth. Because in absolute cold, there
-
is no warmth. Do you know what absolute life,
-
Zoe, is? The absence of any sickness, disease,
-
or death. The moment you release it. And guess
-
what? We can control that. Why? Because we have
-
it and we can give what we have. Guess what Peter
-
and John said? Such as I, oh, such as I have,
-
give I thee. Wow. Who's struggling in your heart
-
right in here? Heart. You, ma 'am? Sir? Come
-
up here real quickly. Hearts. We're going to
-
minister tomorrow morning as well. We'll finish
-
up tomorrow morning, whatever we leave behind
-
tonight. Now, Erin has learned this too. That's
-
why I love having her help me. Just face me.
-
Yep, just like that. And everybody else can just
-
go like, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Okay.
-
Just step up here a little bit. There you go.
-
Just like that. Sir, right in here. Ma 'am, right
-
in here. Anybody else with a heart? Well, y 'all
-
got hearts, but I mean, you need one that needs
-
healing. Anybody else? Aaron and I know one thing,
-
and we don't know a lot, but one thing we do
-
know, and it's the main thing, is I can get what's
-
in me into you, and so can she. You know how
-
that began to happen? The Lord said to me one
-
day, study verbs. I was so happy. You know why
-
I was happy? Because I knew what one was. Wouldn't
-
that be terrible if the Lord said, study verbs?
-
What's a verb? Right? Wouldn't that be horrible?
-
I need to look that up. I knew what it was. Action.
-
Like out of your belly will flow rivers of living
-
water. Why would I study that? Because it gives
-
me a picture. Something's coming out of me. And
-
if I see something coming out of me, when I know
-
I possess the something that can come out of
-
me, guess what it'll do? It'll come out of me.
-
And the more I use it, the more confident I become
-
in it to where I can wear it without even having
-
to get it out of me. Did you hear what I said?
-
To where I can wear it. That's what Jesus did.
-
When that woman touched that tassel in the Aramaic,
-
the passion translation helps us by saying the
-
power that was always moving around him went
-
out of him. See, it's going around him and it
-
went into a woman. It wasn't just that he had
-
it in him and he just didn't even know it. And
-
someone just thought, no, he was aware that something
-
was around him at all times. This other world
-
is real. Listen real closely to this statement.
-
If you want to know the world that you don't
-
know, you're going to have to turn your back
-
on the one that you do. It all works on a balance
-
scale. To be absent from the body is to be present
-
with the Lord. What's it saying? Well, that's
-
for death. Use it for life. It's saying to the
-
degree that he's real to you is the degree that
-
the world is becoming less and less real. But
-
if the world is really real to you, you probably
-
don't know the voice of the Lord as well. Oh,
-
I want to know the voice of the Lord. Okay, then
-
turn down the voice that you do. It's not hard.
-
Your focus is in the wrong place. God is speaking.
-
What you're not hearing is because what you're
-
hearing is too loud. Have you ever had kids that
-
had something to say? Turn that TV down. I can't
-
hear myself. What? Think. We make this so difficult.
-
Like I got to jump through hoops. No, you don't.
-
You're a spirit. Romans 6, 10, and 11 in the
-
Message Bible says, now that you found out that
-
sin means nothing to you and speaks a dead language,
-
God speaks your mother tongue and you hang on
-
every word. When you're in a foreign airport
-
and everybody's speaking a language you don't
-
understand and somebody says, hey John, there's
-
a McDonald's. You go, oh my gosh, where's the
-
American? How come you heard that? That's your
-
mother tongue. We can get good at this, people.
-
Come on, the writer of Hebrews, Paul tried to
-
tell us in the fifth chapter, you can become
-
skilled in discerning of that which is of the
-
spirit, that which is of the flesh. And you can
-
step over into the heavenly realm. This is something
-
you can do. I'm sharing this tonight because
-
we're the prevailing church. I'm not sharing
-
this because I'm the prevailing minister. You're
-
the prevailing church and you all possess the
-
life of God. And you can give this life when
-
you want to. And what makes it flow is that you
-
believe you have it. That's why we learn faith,
-
everybody. It wasn't just for the bigger house
-
and the nicer bicycle. It was to experience God
-
and walk with him. That's what faith was for.
-
And when you walk with him, you'll have the best
-
bicycle and you'll live in a grand house. And
-
here's the other thing. When you walk with God,
-
you don't even really care what house you live
-
in because you're with him. He changes even your
-
desires. I know you're hearing me. Wow. Fire's
-
coming in my hands right now. You had heart problems?
-
Yeah. Well, you know, you're going to find out.
-
I felt that right now, sir. Just like that's
-
it right there. Fire comes in that heart. You
-
let her touch you. In the name of Jesus, that's
-
it right there. Heaven. Now, this will be the
-
simplest thing you ever did. Because all I'm
-
going to ask you to do is, Nothing. You already
-
did the best part. You came. You wouldn't have
-
come lest you believe. That's it right there.
-
The name of Jesus. Hallelujah. You say, what
-
did you just do? Listen to me. Oh, there's things
-
I'd like to share with you. The anointing works
-
with, in my life, my mouth. It works with my
-
mouth. That's why if I get in front of somebody,
-
if I'll talk or engage them, the anointing will
-
drop. Now, it may work with somebody some other
-
way, but it works with my mouth. My tongue's
-
hooked up to the Holy Ghost and then things start
-
happening. It can work that way with you. You
-
say, how'd you get that? Praying in an unknown
-
tongue. That's how I got it. I pray in the Spirit
-
all the time and I've learned how to get this
-
connected with this. So when I stand in the pulpit
-
within seconds, I'm connected. And when you're
-
connected to the source, you're always going
-
to get... For today, and even in this moment
-
and hour, you step over into a realm of the Spirit
-
that you have known in part, but now you shall
-
have ownership as though you know what you're
-
doing. That's it. Fire. Are you ready? Hallelujah.
-
There's some other things that God's going to
-
do for you too. I won't even say a word, but
-
she's going to put her hands on you. And when
-
she does, that's the fire of God. Hallelujah.
-
And you listen to me, dear one, as you're on
-
that floor, the spirit of the Lord comes upon
-
you even now. And he gives you insight into your
-
future. And you will understand with clarity.
-
And the fear and the anxiety of your life leaves
-
you today. Do you hear what I said? And that
-
was accurate. Amen. Hallelujah. Look at me for
-
a second. I know you've had moments in your life
-
where you laughed and just enjoyed a very fun
-
moment. And I want you to know from this very
-
moment. You will be that person again because
-
there'll be nothing to be concerned about, but
-
I'm going to have to hit you. Sorry. She's going
-
to put her hands on you and I'm going to smack
-
you in the back. Okay. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
I'm so glad you're just in the neck. That's it
-
right there. I wish all of the folks we minister
-
to were that easy. Praise the Lord. In the name
-
of the Lord, I want you to see right now heavenly
-
jumper cables from heaven through my hands and
-
Aaron's hands into your life. And I'm telling
-
you right now, there is no way your body remains
-
the same. Heaven changes you right now. You'll
-
have the report in your hand in Jesus' name.
-
Sit right there. Oh, the fire comes on you right
-
there. Jesus comes into you right there. She's
-
going to put her hands on you. Go ahead, hon.
-
In the name. Hold her up. Hold her right up here.
-
In the name, take more. More. More life. More
-
life. For there's other things that you need
-
as well. I know that. And they leave you right
-
now and you won't have a pain as you go back
-
to your seat. Not one in your body. In Jesus'
-
name. Check it all out and see that the Lord
-
set you free. Will you do that? Now you can fall.
-
Lift your hands for just a moment. Come on. You
-
listen so well. The hour is 8 .54. I know. Not
-
just trying to stop, but at the same time. How
-
many in this room, as you're worshiping the Lord,
-
first of all, put your hands down. Let's do this.
-
Just take two more minutes. How many are in this
-
service, and you can already tell, symptoms have
-
already left you? Look at the hands. Look at
-
the hands around here. Symptoms have already
-
left just sitting there. Keep them up. Keep them
-
up. Don't be afraid. Listen, don't be afraid
-
that you're testifying. Now the devil's going
-
to come and take it back. Double dog dare him
-
to try to come and take it back. He's a liar.
-
You're seated in heavenly places. He can't get
-
anywhere near the throne. God lives in you. This
-
is when you use greater is he that's in me than
-
he that's in the world. And stick your neck out
-
as far as you can and say, double dog dare you
-
to try to take this back from me. You didn't
-
give it to me. You didn't take this away in the
-
first place. You can't put it back on me. You
-
get real sassy with him. You let him know you're
-
not afraid. Get your hand up a little higher.
-
What happened to you while you're sitting here,
-
ma 'am? Amen. A lot of warmth. That's the presence
-
of the Lord. Did you need healing? Yeah. Did
-
you check it yet? Where were you having it the
-
most? But where was the rheumatoid arthritis?
-
Okay, then give me your hands. Hey, healings
-
are messy. It's not my hair, you know what I
-
mean? See, that's what you do. You're going to
-
raise your hand. You got to be willing to, you
-
know, be tossed around a little bit. Now listen,
-
as much fun as I knew I could have with her,
-
how did you know? There's just something about
-
her that said, just mess with me, okay? Listen,
-
listen, what I did with her is a lesson for you.
-
You don't have to be careful with the anointing,
-
like you're afraid the Holy Ghost is just gonna
-
be, Just leave you or... No, no, no, no. This
-
is your father. It's already paid for. And you're
-
stepping into something that he's wanted you
-
to walk in. In fact, he didn't want you to actually
-
have the symptoms in the first place. That's
-
why... Are you with me? Are you with me? Are
-
you with me? So what I did to mess with her,
-
you can do yourself. You need to be careful.
-
My dad always said you're like a bull in a china
-
shop. Maybe that's part of the reason. I don't
-
know. That's my perspective. But some people,
-
you know, they just want to go to a pool and
-
stick a toe in. Why would you do that? It takes
-
like 30 minutes to get your body in. And then
-
when you get it up to your waist, you go on your
-
tiptoes to say, don't splash me. While everybody
-
else who went off the diving board just gets
-
blessed right away. I'm working on you to get
-
a mentality into you of how powerful he is. Now,
-
the hands that went up all of this room, if we
-
had time, we'd get your testimonies and hear
-
all the things that God's doing without anybody
-
touching you. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to
-
jump right back into this flow. We'll minister
-
to people, get them set free, teach you a couple
-
simple things that'll make you just absolutely
-
an animal towards the devil if he tries to come
-
and mess with you. All right? Real quick. Is
-
there anybody in here? You can't come back at
-
any time in this conference. This is the only
-
time you could be here and you wanted to be ministered
-
to. We'll go ahead and lay hands on you real
-
quickly. All right. Is there anyone like that?
-
Yes, sir. Come on. Anyone else? Anyone else?
-
Sir, you too? Yeah, come on. Yeah. What do you
-
need God to do, sir? Healing what? For your wife?
-
Okay, where is she now? She's in Arizona, all
-
right? You got her phone number? All right, so
-
this is only gonna work if you'll do what I say.
-
If you'll make sure as soon as I, a minute, wow,
-
I'm feeling something on you right now. She's
-
got problems all down her spine, is that right?
-
Okay, okay. I'm getting ready to do something
-
really crazy, all right? All right? But as soon
-
as I'm done and you pick yourself off the floor,
-
you say, how do you know I'm going to be on the
-
floor? You're going to be on the floor. And when
-
you get back, we'll decide whether it's going
-
to hurt later. When you get back to your phone,
-
you're going to text her and you're going to
-
say, I was just run over by a Mack truck. God
-
touched me. It's just about fire in Jesus' name.
-
Amen. Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. And you're going to text her and
-
say, that just happened. And when you text her,
-
I'll guarantee you we can get your testimony
-
tomorrow that God touches her instantaneously.
-
And she's set free. Amen. What about you? Yeah.
-
You just need a little oil. All right. Isn't
-
that okay? All right. Just as simple as this.
-
I'm not, I'm not, you know, I'm, I don't like
-
tackle everybody. Okay. Just to let you know,
-
you know, I mean, I don't care. I mean, you know,
-
cause I remember this one guy, he was about six
-
foot seven and I went to pray for him and I was
-
going to go way up like this cause his head was
-
so high. And when I went, I stretched my arm
-
up. I heard the word of the Lord said, punch
-
him in the chest as hard as you can. And so I
-
stepped back because I didn't want to listen
-
to that, you know. And so I thought, well, I
-
better do what the Lord tells me to do. So I
-
said, hey, sir. And this big voice came, yes,
-
preacher. And I said, the Lord's going to tell,
-
has told me to punch you in the chest as hard
-
as I can. And the guy goes, on one condition,
-
preacher. And I thought, I thought I was in charge
-
of this. And all of a sudden it just switched,
-
you know. And I said, what's the condition? He
-
said, if it doesn't work, I'm going to hit you
-
back. And so, so, you know, I said, close your
-
eyes. And the thought went through my mind, clip
-
them right here, knock them out and then get
-
out of town. And so I reared back and I said,
-
Lord, if we're going to do this, we're just going
-
to do it big. And I reared back and went, when
-
I hit him as hard as I could, it was like this.
-
And he just sat there and looked at me. And so
-
I did the only thing I knew to do. And that is
-
challenge the devil. I got up on my toes. I put
-
my finger right in his nose. And I said, I dare
-
you. I dare you to check it and see what God
-
did. Check it. And I just got real, just absolutely
-
out of myself. And the guy begins to check it.
-
And big old saucer tears comes down. He lifted
-
his hand and said, oh, praise the Lord. I'm healed.
-
And I turned around and grabbed my heart and
-
said, God, I almost died. The Lord's been touching
-
it, brother. That's why I know it's healed. Look
-
at that. Yeah. Thank you, Lord. Thank you. Lift
-
up your hands. Let's lift up. Oh, we got one
-
more. One more. Yes, ma 'am. Hi, Eli. Erin, come
-
on. He deals with brittle bones. Yeah. And he
-
just was going to have a surgery to get femurs
-
in both his, like, rods in both his femurs. And
-
we got the flu and we canceled it and it's rescheduled,
-
but we're believing that he's going to be healed.
-
Would Eli actually let me hold him? Would Eli,
-
can I hold you, buddy? Hey. Hey. Come on, everybody,
-
just for a second here. Just extend your faith
-
with us. Father, I thank you. That the very life
-
of Jesus comes out of me and into this little
-
boy, Eli. Jesus, I thank you that you paid for
-
this. Now every bone, every muscle responds.
-
And healing is now released into this boy. Everything
-
changes. For we decree it so. We bind up the
-
word of the affliction and we loose this life
-
eternal in Jesus' wonderful name. Now go walk
-
and go be well, Eli. Yeah, he's never walked,
-
but he told us at the dinner table he was gonna
-
walk home. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Eli,
-
come on. Yes, you can stand. Of course you can.
-
And you can walk now. Come on. Come on. Yep.
-
You can walk. That's it. Come on. You can walk.
-
Good boy. Get stronger and stronger. Come on,
-
Eli. Here we go. Walk. Yep. Yep. Come on. Keep
-
coming. That's it. That's it. That's it. Hallelujah.
-
Thank you, Lord Jesus. Keep coming, boy. Let's
-
turn around to your mom and look at this. Now
-
give me your hand. Give me your hand. Here you
-
go. I got you. Walk to mommy. There you go. Walk
-
faster now. Walk faster now. Walk faster now.
-
Walk faster. There you go. You're on the road
-
to running. Jesus' wonderful name. Amen. Thank
-
you, Lord. Pastor, if you'd like. Thank you for
-
taking the time to listen to this week's message.
-
We are so grateful for those who tune in each
