Welcome to the Life Bible Church podcast. We

-
To find service times and watch messages online,
-
see our website at lifebiblechurch .org. Now,
-
enjoy this week's message. Praise the Lord. Hey,
-
thank you. You may be seated. Amen. Thank you,
-
Lord. Well, as Pastor said, you know there's
-
a sensitivity to God in this room. And you can
-
keep that switch on at the same time. Hear the
-
things from the Word of God that will actually
-
trigger the presence of the Lord to just heal
-
you right while you're in your seat. It's amazing
-
how that works. Don't overanalyze. Don't overthink.
-
I'm going to give you some things today that
-
possibly you've not thought of before. You say,
-
what's the benefit of that? Well, that you're
-
going to have to rethink something instead of
-
thinking, well, you already know what he's saying.
-
And while you're rethinking, your heart will
-
get excited. And you'll think, wow, that's really
-
good. In the moment, wow, that's really good.
-
There's an anointing. And there's a release.
-
We bypass so much of where our faith. triggers
-
the anointing. Now that's because we live in
-
a world that has nothing to do with what we're
-
doing in this church. And I know this is going
-
to be harsh that we would say, I love the Lord
-
with all my heart. Well, you love the Lord with
-
all your heart to the small degree that you give
-
him your heart. And I do too. Because we're learning
-
how to keep ourselves connected to him at all
-
times. Because the typical mentality of Christianity,
-
there's a lot of definitions there. I mean, there's
-
men that fought in a Christian war that had a
-
Christian flag, but probably didn't know Jesus
-
as Lord and Savior. Do you know the greatest
-
amount of churches that will call themselves
-
Christian don't even preach a gospel message
-
where people get saved? You do know that, right?
-
And those of us who are saved have for so long
-
been rewarded for coming. You don't get a reward
-
for coming. Do you know how many stars have been
-
handed out for perfect attendance? Do you know
-
how many people think they own a chair because
-
they've given tithes for 20 years? That has nothing
-
to do with you getting an answer to a prayer.
-
It's your divine connection to him and how alive
-
that is. So in a sense, when we hear 1 Thessalonians
-
5, verse 17, pray without ceasing, well, that
-
doesn't mean you're on your knees all day long.
-
Prayer is interaction. Prayer is fellowship.
-
Prayer is communion. I like the word interaction
-
because now we are interacting together. It's
-
not a monologue. It's a dialogue. Prayer is fellowship.
-
So you can do that without ceasing, and there's
-
ways you can do it. And we've actually, I'm not
-
just trying to sell a book. Listen, I wish somebody
-
else's name was on this because then I could
-
really promote it. But people that have taken
-
the simple things that we've shared here about
-
connecting with God and have become over excessive
-
with it have constant testimonies every single
-
week of God encounters. From the smallest of
-
things to the most amazing things. Now, a real
-
church, And I believe this is one. And I'm not,
-
you know, the inspector that God is using to
-
figure out which one is and which one isn't.
-
But my idea of a real church is the people are
-
experiencing God throughout the week with such
-
degree that when they come to the church and
-
the pastor says that anybody have a testimony,
-
every hand goes up and they go up in the manner
-
that remember when you didn't know 15 of the
-
questions. And you had your head down because
-
you didn't want the teacher to see your eyes
-
because you thought if I don't see her, she doesn't
-
see me. And then all of a sudden she asks ones
-
that you know and then you're on your tiptoes
-
to do what? To get her to respond to you because
-
you actually know that one? Real church to me
-
would be the pastor, who's got a testimony? And
-
everybody's got a hand up because they're constantly
-
experiencing him and he's become real to them.
-
Now, you will never, burn out with that kind
-
of Christianity. You will never get bored with
-
that kind of Christianity. It will be new every
-
day and every morning as though you had just
-
experienced him for the first time. Praise the
-
Lord. Amen. Think that might work for you? Okay.
-
Amen. Amen. I felt led that he needed that. Turn
-
your Bibles. I'm going fast this morning. Exodus
-
and chapter 15. Before I do, I want to wake you
-
up with a couple of thoughts. If I live in my
-
house with my wife, And my kids know that it's
-
our house. Now that they're grown, they come
-
to visit. If I pay a water bill at my house and
-
it has my name on it and my address. If I pay
-
taxes. If I pay insurance to my house. God knows.
-
If I ever questioned if it's my house, I just
-
ask Amazon. And they will tell me, we come here
-
every day, that's your house. Then how hard do
-
I have to work at knowing that it's my house?
-
If he died on the cross, if he arose the third
-
day, if he sent the Holy Spirit. If I've been
-
born of the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, hear
-
Him, listen to Him, walk with Him, and talk with
-
Him, then how hard do I have to work at getting
-
an answer to a prayer? See, it's amazing how
-
we enforce ourselves upon this world, but we
-
lay down like a welcome mat when it comes to
-
the things of the Spirit. I mean, if you've got
-
a little boy and you say, Sonny, I want you to
-
sit in that chair. He don't want to sit in that
-
chair. Oh, well, if he don't want to sit in that
-
chair, I guess he ain't going to sit in that
-
chair. Oh, yes, he is going to sit in that chair.
-
He's going to sit in that chair. Bless the Lord,
-
oh my soul. He will sit in that chair and he
-
will enjoy that chair and he will become a part
-
of that chair. And he will be a good boy. Because
-
at his age, I tell him what to do. So how come
-
you can't tell the devil what to do? You go out
-
to eat and you order a steak and somehow or another,
-
the order gets messed up and you get salmon.
-
Well, it's okay. I'm sure they're busy. You know,
-
salmon's good. I know I'm paying a lot more for
-
the steak, but the salmon's okay. This looks
-
good. I won't say, don't say anything. Don't
-
say anything. What? No, I'm a New Yorker. We
-
talk before we even think. And I can sure as
-
bet you that I can make someone do whatever I
-
need to do if I can use my horn. Because we learn
-
at an early age how to make that horn. In your
-
car, say a lot of things. I can tell you to go
-
back to bed and start all over because you ain't
-
doing a good job driving. I can tell you that.
-
Amen. And it's not a toot. There's a manipulation
-
of that horn. I can make it say something. Amen.
-
And I'm working on that. That's a weak spot in
-
my life. I'll go for that horn. And he's like,
-
no, don't you do it. I know I'm not supposed
-
to, but I'll do it anyhow. Just because she said
-
don't, you know. I'm working on all these things.
-
But no, I wouldn't have any problem. I'll say,
-
ma 'am, I don't know how things got messed up,
-
but did you remember that I actually ordered
-
a steak? You did. Well, would you mind going
-
ahead and getting it? No, we can't do that. Yes,
-
you can. In fact, if you can't do it, I'll go
-
back and talk to the manager because I'm not
-
paying for a steak and I got a salmon. But I
-
know you can do it. Wouldn't you at least get
-
your steak? How come we won't get our healing?
-
I want you to think for a moment. You have the
-
skill set to walk in divine health, to walk in
-
the purity of the spirit, to enjoy the voice
-
of God and live with him. You have the skill
-
set. You actually don't need to develop it. You
-
have the skill set. We just need to stir that
-
up in you. So I want to bring you to a couple
-
passages here because this is going to be very
-
interesting to see what your response is going
-
to be. Amen. Exodus chapter 15. Now you know
Exodus 15 chapter mention
-
where we are, the children of Israel, gloriously
-
have been brought out of Egypt. Amen. And they've
-
been marching through the wilderness, you know,
-
complaining one day after the next, complaining,
-
complaining, complaining. But God's grace is
-
leading them out. The law didn't start until
-
they demanded that they were able to actually
-
make their own way and they didn't need Yahweh.
-
They didn't need the Lord. And then the law came.
-
But before they demanded that they do it their
-
own way. You know what I mean? This calf just
-
jumped out of the fire. You liar. You liar. I
-
watched you put that thing together. Amen. So
-
God's just blessing them even with all their
-
complaining. They come through the Red Sea and
-
now we pick up on their journey to get some water
-
because, you know, it's desert. And it says right
-
here, so Moses brought Israel, this is verse
-
22, from the Red Sea. Then they went out to the
-
wilderness of Shur and they went three days into
-
the wilderness and found no water. Now when they
-
came to Merah, Merah, Merah, they could not drink
-
the waters for they were bitter. Therefore the
-
name of the place was called Merah or bitterness.
-
And the people complained. Well, that's just
-
kind of normal. They complained again against
-
Moses saying, what shall we drink? So we cried
-
out to the Lord. The Lord showed him a tree.
-
Of course, this is symbolic. The tree is the
-
cross. The waters are humanity. When he cast
-
it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.
-
There he made a statue. Isn't this interesting?
-
There he made a statue and an ordinance for them.
-
And there he tested them, saying, If you diligently
-
heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what
-
is right in his sight, give ear to his commandments
-
and keep his statutes, I will put none of the
-
diseases. That's a little bit odd right there
-
because the word put means permit. God's not
-
in the putting of any disease on anybody because
-
God doesn't have disease to put on somebody.
-
Huh? Jesus was anointed of the Holy Ghost and
-
power who went about doing good and healing all
-
who were oppressed of the... There you go. Amen.
-
Oral Roberts years ago got in trouble because
-
he said God's a good God and the devil's a bad
-
devil. Can you think of that? That people actually
-
hated him for that because he made a distinction.
-
Today, erasers are being handed out to our kids
-
at the local schools so that they can erase every
-
line that seems to, in some way, impinge upon
-
their idea of what makes them feel good. And
-
that's why we're losing the generation, because
-
what is is what is, and what's not is what's
-
not. And we've got to have clear lines of definition.
-
Well, that makes me feel bad. You need to so
-
that you can make a better choice. I'm not going
-
to give you a pink ribbon. Pink ribbons don't
-
exist. We only have a blue one and a red one
-
and then maybe a white or yellow one. First,
-
second, and third. And if you don't get on the
-
team, then you can make a decision whether you
-
want to work harder. Because if you make a better
-
choice, then you'll have a better outcome. Well,
-
that doesn't make people feel good. That's the
-
idea. Find something that you can do where you
-
enjoy it and excel. I was just looking at some
-
of you and I'm thinking, wow. Praise the Lord.
-
So he cried out to the Lord. The Lord showed
-
him a tree. When he cast it into the waters,
-
the waters were made sweet. He makes this ordinance.
-
And he says, I will permit none of the diseases
-
upon you which I have brought upon the Egyptians,
-
for I am the Lord who heals you, Jehovah Rapha.
-
Now, just get this with me for a second. When
-
the word Jehovah is used to describe a part of
-
God's character and his desire to help humanity,
-
the word Jehovah is used because that word right
-
there shows you that he's going to put on a demonstration.
-
The self -existent one who now reveals himself,
-
reveal, manifest, shows you. God's showing up.
-
God doesn't play, listen closely, hide and go
-
seek. If he did, we'd never find him. Right?
-
No. God plays show and tell. Hey, hey, hey. And
-
we go, oh, oh my Lord. You're amazing. Did you
-
see that? We'll tell somebody else to see. Now
-
God's doing exactly what he wants. We're telling
-
other people about it. And the more we tell people
-
about it, the more it goes, the Lord will tap
-
you on the shoulder and go, hey, look at this.
-
And we go, oh my goodness. See, throughout all
-
the eons that we are in heaven, God's going to
-
put on another show, show, show, another show
-
of his loving kindness in Christ toward us in
-
Christ Jesus. And he's never going to run out.
-
We're always going to be so blessed that I'm
-
not even going to wear socks in heaven. Because
-
they just keep getting blown away. You know what
-
I mean? Blow my socks off. There they go again.
-
Why wear them? Right? God just is amazing. And
-
that he's amazing. He certainly can't outdo.
-
He did it. He outdid yesterday already. And it's
-
only seven o 'clock in the morning. What a day.
-
Now this is who God is. He's always wanting to
-
show you. Jehovah Rapha. So he's showing or demonstrating
-
that he is their healer. Let me ask you a question
-
here. What did he heal? Because he didn't heal
-
anybody. Huh? What did he heal? The water. He
-
demonstrated he's the healer and they'll never
-
have to have disease. And he healed the water
-
and didn't heal the people. Hmm. How come he
-
didn't heal the people? Because they weren't
-
sick. We sometimes forget Psalm 105, 37. He also
-
brought them out with silver and gold and there
-
were none feeble among his tribes. What came
-
before them being brought out and there were
-
none feeble among their tribes? The blood that
-
was required to go over the door and down the
-
sides. And the death angel passed through. And
-
when he saw the blood, he passed on by. Do you
-
know why he passed on by? It wasn't just because
-
he saw the blood. The blood and the glory work
-
together. Can't have one without the other. The
-
blood and the glory. See, the blood made the
-
way for the glory to come in. When that death
-
angel walked, he was looking at somebody else
-
looking at him and he walked right by because
-
who was looking at him was the glory, the Holy
-
Ghost. Now think about this. One night sleeping
-
with the Holy Ghost and they all came out perfectly
-
healed. One night. Come on, they've been working
-
in their minds. They're bent over, arthritis.
-
There's tumors. There's gross. There's blindness.
-
There's deafness. There's hands can't move. Legs
-
can't move. Maybe there's been amputations. One
-
night with the Holy Ghost being invited to sleep
-
with them. And then all of a sudden, you know,
-
Ned, he goes, well, honey, it's going to be really
-
good. And he goes, whoa. Whoa, did you see that?
-
And she said, yeah, I can actually see you. and
-
they all came out healed. And then the strangest
-
thing happened also is God was upon them to the
-
degree that they became money magnets. And Pharaoh
-
did the dumbest thing he's ever done. But when
-
the glory's in operation, the devil does really
-
dumb things. And Pharaoh said, give them all
-
your gold. What? Give them all your, are you
-
sure? Give them all your gold. And so everybody
-
that was Egyptian just came and gave them gold.
-
And they came out healthy enough to drag it through
-
the wilderness. And the reason why Pharaoh came
-
after him is because for a few days he was eating
-
on paper plates. And he said. Where's my gold
-
plates? And his chief, you know, said, well,
-
you told us to give it to. I would never. I didn't
-
tell. Yes, you did. You made a decree. Here it
-
is. And there's your ring right there. Give them
-
all your gold. Why would I do that? So Pharaoh
-
comes after him. If you listen to the theologians,
-
it wasn't really a big miracle going through
-
the Red Sea because they found a place where
-
they really crossed, which was only two feet
-
deep. And that's a greater miracle because Pharaoh's
-
whole army drowned in two feet of water. You
-
can't make this stuff up, folks. It's a whole
-
lot better to just say, Lord, that's actually
-
true, than to try to use your brain to figure
-
this out. Now, this is amazing what happened
-
here because the water and the condition that
-
it was in would have made them sick. Because
-
they weren't sick, which represents redemption,
-
the healing covenant is about keeping you in
-
divine health by making sure that there's nothing
-
that can come against you that would ever make
-
you sick. Now, this is important because I either
-
have the football or I'm trying to get the football.
-
And the church is always trying to get the football
-
that doesn't seem to be in the right. But if
-
you have the football, you can do whatever you
-
need to say, devil, look at you. You can't touch
-
me. Because you've got it. But we're always trying
-
to get it. And if you're always trying to get
-
what he released and gave you, then to the degree
-
you try harder, you actually tell him that he
-
didn't do what he did. I'm probably 42 or something.
-
Standing in the bedroom with my wife and all
-
of a sudden my bowels perforated, heard a snap
-
on the inside of my body. Pain like I've never
-
had before and I was pretty good with pain. Boom,
-
I hit the floor. She's looking at me on the floor.
-
Something serious has just happened. My lightning
-
brain went real fast and said, can't go to the
-
doctor because they don't have insurance and
-
they're going to take all our money. And then
-
I rethought that and thought, we don't have really
-
much to take, but they'll still take it. And
-
then my brain looked at her and she's always
-
been very, very beautiful and still is. And I
-
looked at her and said, well, if I die right
-
now, somebody for sure is going to marry her
-
and that's going to bring me back. So it's better
-
that I stay. And so I said to her, get me up
-
in the bed. I'm not dying. And then for two weeks,
-
I did everything. Because see, default, default.
-
I did everything I preached against. I'm trying
-
to figure out where did I miss it? How could
-
this have happened? Who did I offend? Did I not
-
walk in love? Called people up, would you forgive
-
me? They're like, forgive you for what? I'm doing
-
all these things because see, it has to be something
-
that I did. Because I accepted the problem, now
-
I'm trying to get out of it. Isn't that interesting?
-
Why would you open the door and let someone in
-
if you have the ability to keep it closed? I'm
-
over in Nigeria. I check in at this Hilton. I
-
walk up to my room, go into my room, and within
-
five minutes, a prostitute's at my door, knocking
-
on the door, say, hey, I want to come in. I want
-
to come in. And I said, get out of here. She
-
said, I want to come in. I said, go. Never opened
-
the door. And all of a sudden, she left. I marched
-
right downstairs, got the manager. I said, who
-
told her my room? owed her my room number. That
-
so ticked me off. One of you making money off
-
of her as she sleeps around with people. It's
-
better just not to open the door. need to see
-
what she looked like to tell her to leave. I'm
-
just saying in the world, we're smart. But the
-
moment we step into a building that's called
-
a church, we go, duh. And we lose all sense of
-
just being us. Sorry. I know I'm messing with
-
you. But we're not seeing things like he wants
-
us to see them. Come on, I got another one. I
-
can't stay here. I got another one. I gotta go
-
a little further. Come on over now to Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 28 chapter mention
-
chapter 28. You're gonna love this one. Because
-
you know, Jesus became a curse for us. Curses
-
everyone that hangs upon the tree that the blessings
-
of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ.
-
And we preach about the blessings of Abraham.
-
Praise the Lord that I am healed because I've
-
got the blessings of Abraham. Amen. But I want
-
to show you something here too. I want to end
-
in your mindset right here this morning that
-
in any way, shape or form, you're the problem.
-
Because if you're not the problem and there's
-
nothing between you and God, you can come get
-
your healing and you can walk into the rest of
-
your life. You gotta figure, if this thing's
-
difficult in any way, shape, or form, the devil's
-
got his hand in this thing. Messing this up,
-
twisting our brains, making us think something
-
that it's not so that it becomes a difficult
-
scenario. Remember I talked to you about finding
-
God? Some people say, I never heard God's voice.
-
Yes, you have. Well, not that I know. I said,
-
the only reason why you talk like that is because
-
you got the volume of what you've been listening
-
to so high that you're not hearing that he's
-
actually been talking to you. Well, I'd like
-
to really feel the presence of God. Well, then
-
stop feeling the presence of what you feel that
-
makes you feel what you feel. See, it's pulling
-
back from this world that immediately catapults
-
you to Christ. What he did, he really did. If
-
we're not experiencing it, it's because we're
-
overshadowed. There's a verse of scripture in
-
the Passion Translation of Romans chapter 1,
-
verses 18, 19, and then through the rest of the
-
verses, it says, the wickedness of humanity deliberately
-
smothers the truth to keep you from acknowledging
-
the truth about God. Now, truth means reality.
-
Aletheia, reality. So the wickedness of humanity
-
deliberately smothers what's real So that you
-
don't acknowledge what's real. Because the moment
-
you acknowledge what's real. You empower it in
-
your life. To overcome and manifest itself. And
-
the devil does not want you manifesting the power
-
of truth. Because then that shows his lie. So
-
deliberately the world is set up to smother.
-
To hide what's real. So that you continue to
-
walk in an illusion. Which is a misrepresentation
-
of reality. So the question, you've heard Tony
-
use this question too. I use it a lot. What's
-
reality? Because maybe it's not what you think
-
it is. Amen. And to actually walk in it and experience
-
it, you're going to have to do that by faith.
-
In other words, when you take your first step,
-
it is not going to look good. It is not going
-
to look like it's going to work. You're going
-
to look like you're going under. You're going
-
to look like you die. But you know what? You
-
bet the farm on Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
That's just an exciting life to me. That gets
-
my juices going. Where can I go ahead and step
-
out where it looks like I'm going under? Dare
-
to live or die. Well, real quickly, in that testimony,
-
two weeks of doing all that religious stuff,
-
my body whittled down from where it is right
-
now to about 130 pounds. Couldn't look at myself
-
in the mirror. Didn't have any muscle left on
-
my body. Eyes sunk back into my head. Looked
-
a little jaundiced. It was pretty sad, pretty
-
pathetic. So I canceled all my meetings except
-
one. I didn't know that I didn't cancel it. And
-
here it is Thursday. Friday's coming. And then
-
Saturday, I'm going to Sacramento to preach Sunday
-
morning, twice in the morning, Sunday night,
-
Monday morning, Monday night, Tuesday morning,
-
Tuesday night, fly to Milwaukee, do a Wednesday
-
night service, then fly back home on Thursday.
-
And I'm like 130 pounds. So three o 'clock in
-
the morning, Friday morning, I went out into
-
a chair and I sat there and I said, Lord, I want
-
to apologize and ask you to forgive me for one
-
thing. I've been making it look like you didn't
-
do what you actually said you did. I said, so
-
from this moment, you and I don't have to talk
-
about healing when I'm already healed. Why would
-
I talk to you about it? Thank you very much.
-
And now I'm going to make myself a milkshake
-
because Erin was, you know, doing all she could,
-
you know, in this earthly realm with all this
-
kind of stuff she was feeding me. And there was
-
this kind of like greenish, you know, porridge
-
type stuff or whatever. At least that looked
-
that way to me. And it was disgusting. And even
-
at one moment I said, here, you take, I'm not
-
taking that. So at three o 'clock in the morning,
-
I made myself a chocolate milkshake and just
-
drank it. And I said, oh, this is so good. It's
-
so wonderful to be healthy. Woke up the next
-
morning, did not feel any better. Saturday comes,
-
I got myself ready. Aaron had to help me get
-
my luggage into the car and my golf clubs into
-
the car and get them out. And I left holding
-
them. I couldn't walk straight. And I walked
-
into the airport like this, like an old man at
-
about 40 years of age, 42 years of age. When
-
the pastor saw me, he looked at me and said,
-
oh, dear God, what happened? Because he knew
-
I was an athlete. And he said, I told him what
-
happened. He said, I'll be preaching for you.
-
You just take a rest here. This is a vacation.
-
I said, if you do the preaching, you'll send
-
me home in a six -foot pine box. Praise the Lord.
-
That's right. Amen. And so I did the preaching.
-
And the first service was a little rough. And
-
he came out and he said, you're a little edgy.
-
I said, yeah, if you felt like I felt, you'd
-
be a little edgy too. And some of you are saying
-
you were more edgy than you are right now. Well,
-
this edgy comes with years. When you get a certain
-
age, you start thinking, you know, I'm just going
-
to be me. Do you know what I mean? You start.
-
So this is a different edgy. So anyhow, I preached
-
the next service. I was a little nicer. That
-
afternoon, went home or went back to the hotel.
-
Aaron wasn't there at the time. Went back to
-
the hotel. And my body, as far as how it worked
-
in the bathroom, worked normal. Now, you probably
-
don't do something like this, glory, and run
-
around the room when you come out of the bathroom.
-
But I did. because my bowels had perforated.
-
And that night, I got so happy I ran around the
-
room. The only thing that discouraged me was
-
I was so slow that Grandma lapped me three times.
-
There she goes again. Am I going that slow? There
-
she goes again. Wow, I guess I am. And I went
-
back home 25 pounds heavier in just three days
-
as God began to build my body back up. But I
-
had to make what? The distinction between what
-
was real and what wasn't real. And that's when
-
things started working. Come on, stay with me.
-
All right, listen to this. This is amazing because
-
the first 14 verses are the blessings of Abraham.
-
And verse 15 through verse 61. Get this, listen
-
to this. Verse 15 through 61. You will be depressed
-
if you read those verses. Because starting in
-
verse 15 to 61 are the curses and the curses
-
are nothing but every single sickness and disease
-
you could ever get. And the writer goes on to
-
say at the very end, and if I missed anything,
-
well, you're going to get that too. Okay? So
-
I just wanted to read this for you. Start in
-
verse one. Now it's going to pass you diligently
-
obey. I'm going to read fast. The voice of the
-
Lord your God to observe carefully all his commands,
-
which I command you today, that the Lord your
-
God will set you on high above all nations of
-
the earth. And all these blessings shall come
-
upon you and overtake you because you obey the
-
voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you
-
be in the city. Blessed shall you be in the country.
-
Blessed shall you be the fruit of the body, the
-
produce of the ground, the increase of your herds,
-
the increase of your cattle, the offspring of
-
your flocks. Blessed shall you be in your basket,
-
in your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when
-
you come in and when you go out. The Lord shall
-
cause your enemy to rise against you to be defeated
-
before your face. They'll come against you one
-
way. They'll flee before you seven ways. The
-
Lord will command the blessing on you and your
-
storehouse and all to which you set your hand.
-
He will bless you in the land of which your Lord
-
has given you. The Lord will establish you as
-
a holy people to himself just as he swore to
-
you. If you keep the commandments of the Lord
-
your God and walk in his ways, then all the peoples
-
of the earth shall see that you are called by
-
the name of the Lord and they shall be afraid
-
of you. And the Lord will grant you plenty of
-
goods in the fruit of your body and the increase
-
of your livestock in the produce of the ground
-
and the land in which the Lord swore to your
-
fathers to give you. The Lord will open to you
-
as good treasure the heavens to give rain in
-
the land in the season to bless all the work
-
of your hand. You'll lend to many nations, but
-
you'll not borrow. The Lord will make you the
-
head, not the tail, above and only and not beneath.
-
And you'll heed the commandments of the Lord
-
your God, which I command you today in our...
-
careful to observe them. You shall not turn aside
-
from any of the words which I command you this
-
day to the right or to the left to go after other
-
gods before me. It does not mention you getting
-
healed. There's no blessing of healing in the
-
blessings. But you start verse 15 and it's nothing
-
but sickness. What did God heal? The water. Because
-
the people were already healed. Maybe God sees
-
something we're not seeing. Maybe these bodies
-
aren't as fragile as we think they are. Maybe
-
we've bought into a lie. Because, you know, you
-
think about it. Adam and Eve coming out of the
-
garden. There was a first pain. And if it happened
-
to be Eve, you know, catching her hip on a counter.
-
Because, you know, they hadn't cooked before.
-
That counter probably had edges on it. She's
-
trying to keep from burning the water that's
-
boiling, you know. I mean, they're figuring this
-
out. And she hits her hip. And all of a sudden
-
she says, ow. She limps a little bit and Adam
-
says, what? What'd you say? She said, I said,
-
ow. Why'd you say it? She said, because it hurts.
-
Now, Adam doesn't know what ow is and he does
-
not know what hurt is because he hadn't hit his
-
hip yet. But we know Adam's not the smartest
-
knife in the drawer. I mean, he is, but he isn't,
-
you know. So Adam is like, well, I want to know
-
what that feels like. So he goes over and just,
-
and you know, a guy ain't as good with pain as
-
a woman is. So he goes, ow, ow, ow, ow. She said,
-
I told you. She said, it hurts. And she said,
-
that's what I said. And all of a sudden he looks
-
at hers and hers is kind of purplish and kind
-
of bluish. Whoa. And he looks at his and his
-
is a little bit pinkish and a little bit yellowish.
-
And those are the first tattoos. There you go.
-
Now, I say that because that's a first. We have
-
so accepted the idea of pain. That now we carry
-
things in our pockets and purses and have them
-
in our medicine cabinets and stuff them in our
-
cars. In case we have a pain, we can take something
-
to mask the pain. And isn't it interesting how
-
much faith we have in it that we'll actually
-
head to a meeting while our head is pounding,
-
knowing that we've taken four or five of these
-
ibuprofen, that sooner or later before we get
-
to the meeting, we will feel better to be able
-
to function somewhat normally. But taking the
-
anointing and the presence of God, we seem to
-
have no skill set. And yet we actually do. Maybe
-
the reason why there's so much sickness is because
-
of Jacob's experiment with the sheep and the
-
goats. What do you mean? Well, you know, his
-
father -in -law was a real doozy. Can you imagine
-
working seven years and that beautiful bride
-
you're gonna look at and you take that veil off,
-
ah, that's his sister. That sister's a little
-
different. She got a mustache, you know what
-
I'm saying? I put my foot in my mouth so many
-
times. There's this, with a mustache right back
-
there. And they raised their hand and said, sir,
-
so what do you need? She said, I'm not a sir.
-
I'm a woman. And I thought, well, you shaved
-
that thing. That helped a little bit. I walked
-
up to this couple and I said, this is such a
-
wonderful couple. The guy looks at me and says,
-
it's my mother. I looked to the mother, you know,
-
because I'm working real fast to fix this. I
-
looked to the mother and said, wasn't that an
-
amazing compliment? She goes, that was very nice.
-
I said, thank you. You got to get yourself out
-
when you get yourself in. See what I'm saying?
-
You got to be good at both. There's no healing
-
in the blessing. Why? What are the conditions
-
to these covenants working? What are the conditions?
-
The sheep and the goats, thank you. Jacob, what
-
did he do? Well, you know, the prize animals
-
were the clear -coated. not the speckled and
-
spotted. So Jacob, without a word of the Lord
-
coming to him, figured something out. I can completely
-
change this flock. If I'll bring the spotted,
-
if I bring the clear -coated sheep that are the
-
strongest, when they're in mating, when they're
-
in the season to mate. Now, don't get weird with
-
me, okay? I'm not trying to get... weird with
-
you. But the idea that they're in a season of
-
mating, you know, like you don't mess or get
-
around deer when they're in the rut. Because
-
those bucks are not thinking straight. And if
-
they see you, even though you ain't going after,
-
you know, his honey, you see? But he looks at
-
you as a competitor when his mind ain't thinking
-
right. Because he ain't thinking with, he's not
-
thinking up here. I stopped. I stopped. Amen.
-
I just left it up here. You're not thinking here.
-
Now, I'm not trying to get weird here, but I'm
-
saying there is emotion and there is passion.
-
See, what you're passionate about, what you get
-
emotional about will move you. And if you're
-
being moved by Jesus, you're being moved by something
-
else. So you got to guard your affections. Why?
-
Because your affections affect all that you are.
-
That's the passion translation of Proverbs 4,
-
verse 20, 24. So he knew when to do his little
-
experiment, when there's a little heat, when
-
there's a little passion, when there's a little
-
bit of movement. And what did he do? He put poplar
-
branches in the trough so that when they're in
-
heat, And being mated, they're actually looking
-
at themselves through a reflection of being spotted
-
and speckled. And they gave birth to spotted
-
and speckled sheep. If it can work for them,
-
then 75 plus percent of the commercials that
-
you look at are about drugs reminding you that
-
you're sick. And this is a society that is literally
-
on drugs. 5 % of the world's population consuming
-
more than 75 % of the world's medicine. We have
-
already bought into the idea here in America,
-
I'm sick, just give me some pills. Instead of,
-
I refuse to accept that. There's no reason for
-
me to be sick. Do you know what really works
-
well with people? When sickness comes on and
-
they say something like, I don't have time for
-
this. Guess what? Those people don't end up being
-
sick. Just because they don't accept it. I don't
-
have time for this. I've got too much on my plate.
-
I can't be sick. I'm going to work anyhow. Boom,
-
it'll leave. But the moment you accept it, the
-
moment you buy into it. Jesus actually thinks
-
he did a good job. He actually took the infirmity,
-
bore the sickness, and with his stripes, you
-
actually are healed. But we're the ones that
-
believe in the sickness. Not meaning this wrong,
-
but you wear pink in October. Now, when I was
-
growing up, pink wasn't a color that a guy wore.
-
And if you wore it at the wrong time with the
-
wrong guys, boom! Now it's acceptable to wear.
-
How come people wear pink? How come football
-
players wear pink? Because we are honoring those
-
women who have had breast cancer. It's the wrong
-
way to honor them. Because the more you look
-
at the pink and you think of the breast cancer,
-
the more you now are creating more breast cancer.
-
If we could get everybody to wear in October
-
crimson red shirts and remind yourself of the
-
blood of Jesus that has cleansed us from all
-
sickness and disease, we could clear out hospitals
-
without even having to go to them. Listen, we've
-
been made in the image and likeness of God, and
-
it's a good thing, but it's a bad thing. Having
-
a shotgun ready to shoot at a deer when your
-
family doesn't have any food and it's 15 feet
-
away and you're going to kill it and you're going
-
to be able to eat and keep your family alive
-
is a good thing. But having that shotgun in the
-
hands of a four -year -old pointed at a two -year
-
-old is a bad thing. See, depending on what you
-
do with you being made an image that likes God,
-
if you point into the wrong direction, you'll
-
create the wrong thing. If you don't like where
-
you're at today, go back to checking up on what
-
you've been believing and what you've been speaking
-
because you created it yourself. We've got all
-
the ammo. We've got everything we need. Jesus
-
has already done the work, and we're still trying
-
to get something that he's already gotten us.
-
Now, I ask you again as we close this thought,
-
because you can tell I'm going a mile a minute
-
here, and I've got to close. What are the conditions
-
to be able to operate in this? Righteousness.
-
What? If you diligently obey every single thing
-
that's in there and don't vary at all, then this
-
will work for you. In both scenarios, righteousness
-
is the condition. In other words, when Abram
-
believed and God in the passion, it says he transferred
-
into Abraham's account. Faith transferred righteousness
-
into his account. And the promise wasn't fulfilled
-
by works, but it was fulfilled by the righteousness
-
which was transferred into the account. Now,
-
let me ask you a question. I'll explain this.
-
Does God seamlessly work with himself? It's not
-
a trick question. Yes. Why? There's nothing in
-
the Father, Son, or Holy Ghost that is contrary
-
to one another. There's no tainting of sin, unbelief,
-
skepticism, reason, or doubt that could make
-
a hang -up in God saying, this is what we're
-
going to create. Jesus comes out and speaks it
-
while the Holy Ghost has already been hovering
-
upon the face of the earth. Doing what? Preparing
-
the soil to manifest the moment Jesus speaks.
-
Come on, when Jesus spoke, the Father wasn't
-
saying for two or three eons, I believe, I receive,
-
I believe, I receive, I believe, I receive, I
-
believe, I receive. Because the Holy Ghost is
-
the agent who actually was given to us as the
-
first individual personality mentioned in the
-
scriptures. You would have thought it had been
-
the Father. You would have thought it had been
-
Jesus. Guess who it was? The Holy Ghost. And
-
he wasn't just mentioned, he was given a description.
-
He was hovering. Hovering is to brood. Brood
-
is to incubate. Incubate is to provide warmth
-
so as to bring a hatching or a manifestation.
-
The Holy Ghost is the manifester. And what does
-
he do? Well, one thing you know for sure is he's
-
never late. He's always early. The quarterback
-
doesn't throw a pass to a receiver who's standing
-
still. He throws a pass to someone who's already
-
going to the place where he's going to receive.
-
The touchdown. The Holy Ghost is always ahead
-
of you, working and manifesting. He's been in
-
this room when we sing, come down spirit, come
-
down. Yeah, he down, he down, he down, right
-
here. Amen. He's here. He's warming up your seat.
-
He's warming up the next seat. He's warming you
-
up in your mentality and in your thoughts. I
-
mean, take God out of the equation and we're
-
nothing. We need him in every area of life. And
-
the Holy Ghost is here manifesting right now
-
in this room. While I'm talking, I'm releasing
-
power. I am not preaching to you. I am ministering
-
to you. To minister means to dispense. My wife
-
grew up on a dairy farm. There's a lot of dispensing
-
going on on a dairy farm. Good things are dispensed.
-
And things you shouldn't step in are dispensed
-
to. And when you're in it, you know you're in
-
it. To dispense, we can preach a message and
-
just preach a message. Or we can release power
-
while we're saying what we're saying. What's
-
the difference? It's what you believe in. What
-
are the terms? Righteousness. He who knew no
-
sin, God made to be sin on your behalf that we
-
might become or that we might be made the righteousness
-
of God in Christ. Do you realize what this covenant
-
on this side did? It gave you every key to every
-
blessing without you doing a single thing. If
-
I'm righteous, I can't be sick. That's why there's
-
no need to put in the blessings, a healing. When
-
someone's righteous, they cease to be sick. You
-
say, this doesn't make sense to you. Yes, it
-
does. That's why Jesus said, which is easier,
-
to forgive the man's sin or to heal his body,
-
but that you may know that I am able to forgive
-
sin. Take up your bed and walk. In other words,
-
they're included in the same package. It's the
-
dual redemption. When I'm righteous, the Lord
-
goes before me to remove things so that I won't
-
ever have to be sick. It's the same work. Let
-
me ask you one more question. How did Jesus do
-
what Jesus did? You know, that withered hand
-
is probably one of the worst withered hands I've
-
ever seen in my life. Let's see if we can't get
-
that healed. No, what did he say? Stretch your
-
hand out. Wait a minute. He didn't say, give
-
me your withered hand. He said, stretch your
-
hand out. I got a friend. He went home to be
-
with the Lord. His name is Buzzy Sutherland.
-
Now, there's nobody in Oregon named Buzzy Sutherland.
-
There's no one in New York named Buzzy Sutherland.
-
That's got to be somewhere in the south. It's
-
El Dorado, Arkansas. You can't get to El Dorado,
-
Arkansas unless you're just lucky. He told me
-
one day, he said, in the ninth grade, they tried
-
to teach me the algebra. He said, all these X's
-
and Y's had numerical value. He said, I wasn't
-
real bright. He said, but my final exam said
-
X plus Y equals 49. Figure out what X and Y is.
-
He said, I got so happy. I took my paper, went
-
right up to the teacher, put it on her desk.
-
And I said, if I got the 49, what do I care what
-
X and Y is? Some of you get that a little bit
-
later, but anyhow, the idea is, is when you got
-
an answer, you can't have a problem. Figure out
-
the problem. I already got the answer. What are
-
you saying? A problem is not a problem when you
-
got an answer. Jesus didn't look at the people
-
like they had a problem. Because he'd be the
-
answer. So he told a blind man, go home. How
-
does a blind man go home? Well, the first thing
-
you know is, anyway, we'll do. And in the going.
-
His eyes opened up and he turned around and followed
-
Jesus. Jesus always treated people like they
-
were already well. Why? When you stand in the
-
presence of the answer, you can't act like there's
-
a problem. And guess what happened? That answer
-
jumped inside your skin. He's living inside your
-
body. One translation, Galatians 2 .20 says,
-
I've died and now I'm enjoying my second existence,
-
which is simply Jesus. using my body. If the
-
answer's inside my body, no wonder he doesn't
-
have to get you healed in a blessing. If you're
-
righteous, you ain't sick. No wonder he doesn't
-
have to try to get you healed in a covenant that
-
says, I am the Lord that heals you, when he's
-
the one, if you're righteous, that goes before
-
to make sure you never get sick, because you're
-
well. Maybe some of you right here are just a
-
whole lot more healed than you think. And maybe
-
with your connection to the Holy Spirit, your
-
body start changing instantly. Girl came to me,
-
last story I'll tell you. Girl came to me, she
-
was real buffed. I mean, I could tell you, she's
-
real strong looking, young. And I thought, this
-
girl must be an athlete. She says, I can't lift
-
my arms above my shoulders. I said, what happened?
-
She said, well, I'm a college softball player.
-
I got a scholarship. I'm ready to lose my scholarship.
-
I had an injury and both arms won't lift. Doctors
-
don't know why. I said, well, what if they could?
-
She said, that'd be great. I said, well, maybe
-
you can't. She said, no, I told you, I can't
-
lift them in here. I said, well, what if they
-
could? She said, well, that'd be great. I said,
-
maybe you can't. She goes, I told you I can't
-
lift them. I said, but what if you could? She
-
said, that would be great. I said, well, maybe
-
you can't. She said, I told you I can't. And
-
then she looked. She looked around and she said,
-
what did you do to me? And I said, really, I
-
didn't do much except hold you in a place long
-
enough for God to be able to do what he's already
-
done. Wow. There's healing in this air. From
-
now on, you can't come to Life Bible Church.
-
Without breathing in healing. It's in the air.
-
It's in the air. The very first night in prayer
-
before I got here, I knew that God was going
-
to, from that moment, impregnate the air of this
-
building with healing power. You say, wait, wait,
-
wait, wait, wait. You really think that's what?
-
It's so possible. You know, they went and found
-
where John G. Lake lived in Portland, Oregon.
-
Two hours away. And in the house, the man had
-
lived there all the years since Lake sold him
-
that house. Only one owner. And he was still
-
in that house. He was an older man. And he asked
-
him, why are you come to this house? And they
-
told him it's because it was John Lake. He said,
-
that's right. I bought it from him. He said,
-
well, he was a healing minister. And they began
-
to tell him stories about Lake. And he then all
-
of a sudden woke up and he said, come to think
-
of it. Ever since I stepped into this home, Since
-
I've lived here, I've never even had a cold.
-
The glory got into the wood. It got into the
-
cloth. It got into the ceiling. It got into the
-
air. And that glory is inside of you. If the
-
children of Israel could sleep one night, one
-
night in the presence of God, than me, 60 years
-
saved. I'll slap myself. I've been sleeping with
-
Jesus for 60 years and I've had trouble. It's
-
like, wake up, one breaks out and you'd be instantly
-
healed. The devil's been pulling the wool over
-
our eyes, folks. I only got one minute left.
-
Lift up your hands right now. I command the blessing
-
of the Lord upon you this day. That as your hands
-
are lifted up like IVs that just drip, drip,
-
drip, drip through the IV into your veins, into
-
your body. I command the healing blessing of
-
God that is in Christ because you are the righteousness
-
of God in him. I command that blessing to flow
-
into your bodies right now. cancer cell and removes
-
every disease. There are infections in the bladders
-
that are being healed right now. There are hips
-
that are out of alignment that are being healed
-
right now and no, you don't need a new hip. God's
-
giving you that new hip right now. Father, I
-
thank you for the digestion in this room. intestines
-
that are being healed right now. You do not have
-
IBS. You do not have Crohn's disease. You do
-
not have trouble digesting. From this moment,
-
you are the righteousness of God in Christ and
-
God's power sets you free. What is reality? I
-
am sharing that with you right now. There are
-
multiple people right now. All the headaches
-
and those migraines, I curse them. I commend
-
them to come out of you and you'll not have another
-
one in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. There
-
is pain behind the eye and that disappears right
-
now in the name of Jesus. I see the spine from
-
the top of your head down to the very back of
-
your rear end. I see the power of God setting
-
your spine free. Every pain coming out of you
-
in the name of Jesus. There are multiple knees
-
right now that are being healed and touched by
-
the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a man with prostate
-
problems. I'm telling you, God. God sets you
-
free right now in the name of Jesus. Every tumor
-
and bump and lump and growth in this room, I
-
command you to dissolve and die right now. You
-
have no right to be on a righteous child of God.
-
Brain development. I release you from the brain
-
fog that causes you to doubt. I command that
-
spirit that wraps its hands around your mind,
-
hindering your ability to think. I command that
-
to stop. Lord, by your wonderful grace, this
-
room is experiencing the healer in great power
-
and great glory. Thank you, Lord. Thank you,
-
Lord. Thank you, Lord. And so give me your hands
-
turned up like this. In the name of the Lord,
-
you shall not only walk in the blessing of the
-
Lord and the healing virtue of Jesus Christ,
-
but from this moment, the healing power of God
-
settles in your hands. And that healing anointing
-
will walk with you. And you'll begin to know
-
because your hands will begin to burn like fire.
-
The presence of the Lord will come out of you
-
like fire. The Holy Ghost and fire, praise the
-
Lord, is now a part of your ministry. And you'll
-
minister this healing virtue and this place will
-
see miracles in Jesus' wonderful name. And that
-
is now being given to you by the word of the
-
Lord. Everybody lift your hands. One more moment.
-
Father, thank you for these people. Thank you
-
for the glory. Thank you for what you're sharing
-
to us. We are sharp. We are quick to receive.
-
We are open vessels. And we are the righteousness
-
of God in Christ. And we will not accept the
-
heinous work of Satan in this world when we have
-
been delivered and set free through the power
-
of that blood. In Jesus' name, somebody say amen
-
in this place. Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen,
-
amen. Thank you for taking the time to listen
-
to this week's message. We are so grateful for
-
those who tune in each week and have given generously

to this ministry. If you would like to give click
