  5. To find service times and watch messages online,

  6. see our website at lifebiblechurch .org. Now,

  7. enjoy this week's message. Praise the Lord. Hey,

  8. thank you. You may be seated. Amen. Thank you,

  9. Lord. Well, as Pastor said, you know there's

  10. a sensitivity to God in this room. And you can

  11. keep that switch on at the same time. Hear the

  12. things from the Word of God that will actually

  13. trigger the presence of the Lord to just heal

  14. you right while you're in your seat. It's amazing

  15. how that works. Don't overanalyze. Don't overthink.

  16. I'm going to give you some things today that

  17. possibly you've not thought of before. You say,

  18. what's the benefit of that? Well, that you're

  19. going to have to rethink something instead of

  20. thinking, well, you already know what he's saying.

  21. And while you're rethinking, your heart will

  22. get excited. And you'll think, wow, that's really

  23. good. In the moment, wow, that's really good.

  24. There's an anointing. And there's a release.

  25. We bypass so much of where our faith. triggers

  26. the anointing. Now that's because we live in

  27. a world that has nothing to do with what we're

  28. doing in this church. And I know this is going

  29. to be harsh that we would say, I love the Lord

  30. with all my heart. Well, you love the Lord with

  31. all your heart to the small degree that you give

  32. him your heart. And I do too. Because we're learning

  33. how to keep ourselves connected to him at all

  34. times. Because the typical mentality of Christianity,

  35. there's a lot of definitions there. I mean, there's

  36. men that fought in a Christian war that had a

  37. Christian flag, but probably didn't know Jesus

  38. as Lord and Savior. Do you know the greatest

  39. amount of churches that will call themselves

  40. Christian don't even preach a gospel message

  41. where people get saved? You do know that, right?

  42. And those of us who are saved have for so long

  43. been rewarded for coming. You don't get a reward

  44. for coming. Do you know how many stars have been

  45. handed out for perfect attendance? Do you know

  46. how many people think they own a chair because

  47. they've given tithes for 20 years? That has nothing

  48. to do with you getting an answer to a prayer.

  49. It's your divine connection to him and how alive

  50. that is. So in a sense, when we hear 1 Thessalonians

    1 Thessalonians 5:17

  51. 5, verse 17, pray without ceasing, well, that

  52. doesn't mean you're on your knees all day long.

  53. Prayer is interaction. Prayer is fellowship.

  54. Prayer is communion. I like the word interaction

  55. because now we are interacting together. It's

  56. not a monologue. It's a dialogue. Prayer is fellowship.

  57. So you can do that without ceasing, and there's

  58. ways you can do it. And we've actually, I'm not

  59. just trying to sell a book. Listen, I wish somebody

  60. else's name was on this because then I could

  61. really promote it. But people that have taken

  62. the simple things that we've shared here about

  63. connecting with God and have become over excessive

  64. with it have constant testimonies every single

  65. week of God encounters. From the smallest of

  66. things to the most amazing things. Now, a real

  67. church, And I believe this is one. And I'm not,

  68. you know, the inspector that God is using to

  69. figure out which one is and which one isn't.

  70. But my idea of a real church is the people are

  71. experiencing God throughout the week with such

  72. degree that when they come to the church and

  73. the pastor says that anybody have a testimony,

  74. every hand goes up and they go up in the manner

  75. that remember when you didn't know 15 of the

  76. questions. And you had your head down because

  77. you didn't want the teacher to see your eyes

  78. because you thought if I don't see her, she doesn't

  79. see me. And then all of a sudden she asks ones

  80. that you know and then you're on your tiptoes

  81. to do what? To get her to respond to you because

  82. you actually know that one? Real church to me

  83. would be the pastor, who's got a testimony? And

  84. everybody's got a hand up because they're constantly

  85. experiencing him and he's become real to them.

  86. Now, you will never, burn out with that kind

  87. of Christianity. You will never get bored with

  88. that kind of Christianity. It will be new every

  89. day and every morning as though you had just

  90. experienced him for the first time. Praise the

  91. Lord. Amen. Think that might work for you? Okay.

  92. Amen. Amen. I felt led that he needed that. Turn

  93. your Bibles. I'm going fast this morning. Exodus

  94. and chapter 15. Before I do, I want to wake you

  95. up with a couple of thoughts. If I live in my

  96. house with my wife, And my kids know that it's

  97. our house. Now that they're grown, they come

  98. to visit. If I pay a water bill at my house and

  99. it has my name on it and my address. If I pay

  100. taxes. If I pay insurance to my house. God knows.

  101. If I ever questioned if it's my house, I just

  102. ask Amazon. And they will tell me, we come here

  103. every day, that's your house. Then how hard do

  104. I have to work at knowing that it's my house?

  105. If he died on the cross, if he arose the third

  106. day, if he sent the Holy Spirit. If I've been

  107. born of the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, hear

  108. Him, listen to Him, walk with Him, and talk with

  109. Him, then how hard do I have to work at getting

  110. an answer to a prayer? See, it's amazing how

  111. we enforce ourselves upon this world, but we

  112. lay down like a welcome mat when it comes to

  113. the things of the Spirit. I mean, if you've got

  114. a little boy and you say, Sonny, I want you to

  115. sit in that chair. He don't want to sit in that

  116. chair. Oh, well, if he don't want to sit in that

  117. chair, I guess he ain't going to sit in that

  118. chair. Oh, yes, he is going to sit in that chair.

  119. He's going to sit in that chair. Bless the Lord,

  120. oh my soul. He will sit in that chair and he

  121. will enjoy that chair and he will become a part

  122. of that chair. And he will be a good boy. Because

  123. at his age, I tell him what to do. So how come

  124. you can't tell the devil what to do? You go out

  125. to eat and you order a steak and somehow or another,

  126. the order gets messed up and you get salmon.

  127. Well, it's okay. I'm sure they're busy. You know,

  128. salmon's good. I know I'm paying a lot more for

  129. the steak, but the salmon's okay. This looks

  130. good. I won't say, don't say anything. Don't

  131. say anything. What? No, I'm a New Yorker. We

  132. talk before we even think. And I can sure as

  133. bet you that I can make someone do whatever I

  134. need to do if I can use my horn. Because we learn

  135. at an early age how to make that horn. In your

  136. car, say a lot of things. I can tell you to go

  137. back to bed and start all over because you ain't

  138. doing a good job driving. I can tell you that.

  139. Amen. And it's not a toot. There's a manipulation

  140. of that horn. I can make it say something. Amen.

  141. And I'm working on that. That's a weak spot in

  142. my life. I'll go for that horn. And he's like,

  143. no, don't you do it. I know I'm not supposed

  144. to, but I'll do it anyhow. Just because she said

  145. don't, you know. I'm working on all these things.

  146. But no, I wouldn't have any problem. I'll say,

  147. ma 'am, I don't know how things got messed up,

  148. but did you remember that I actually ordered

  149. a steak? You did. Well, would you mind going

  150. ahead and getting it? No, we can't do that. Yes,

  151. you can. In fact, if you can't do it, I'll go

  152. back and talk to the manager because I'm not

  153. paying for a steak and I got a salmon. But I

  154. know you can do it. Wouldn't you at least get

  155. your steak? How come we won't get our healing?

  156. I want you to think for a moment. You have the

  157. skill set to walk in divine health, to walk in

  158. the purity of the spirit, to enjoy the voice

  159. of God and live with him. You have the skill

  160. set. You actually don't need to develop it. You

  161. have the skill set. We just need to stir that

  162. up in you. So I want to bring you to a couple

  163. passages here because this is going to be very

  164. interesting to see what your response is going

  165. to be. Amen. Exodus chapter 15. Now you know

    Exodus 15 chapter mention

  166. where we are, the children of Israel, gloriously

  167. have been brought out of Egypt. Amen. And they've

  168. been marching through the wilderness, you know,

  169. complaining one day after the next, complaining,

  170. complaining, complaining. But God's grace is

  171. leading them out. The law didn't start until

  172. they demanded that they were able to actually

  173. make their own way and they didn't need Yahweh.

  174. They didn't need the Lord. And then the law came.

  175. But before they demanded that they do it their

  176. own way. You know what I mean? This calf just

  177. jumped out of the fire. You liar. You liar. I

  178. watched you put that thing together. Amen. So

  179. God's just blessing them even with all their

  180. complaining. They come through the Red Sea and

  181. now we pick up on their journey to get some water

  182. because, you know, it's desert. And it says right

  183. here, so Moses brought Israel, this is verse

  184. 22, from the Red Sea. Then they went out to the

  185. wilderness of Shur and they went three days into

  186. the wilderness and found no water. Now when they

  187. came to Merah, Merah, Merah, they could not drink

  188. the waters for they were bitter. Therefore the

  189. name of the place was called Merah or bitterness.

  190. And the people complained. Well, that's just

  191. kind of normal. They complained again against

  192. Moses saying, what shall we drink? So we cried

  193. out to the Lord. The Lord showed him a tree.

  194. Of course, this is symbolic. The tree is the

  195. cross. The waters are humanity. When he cast

  196. it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

  197. There he made a statue. Isn't this interesting?

  198. There he made a statue and an ordinance for them.

  199. And there he tested them, saying, If you diligently

  200. heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what

  201. is right in his sight, give ear to his commandments

  202. and keep his statutes, I will put none of the

  203. diseases. That's a little bit odd right there

  204. because the word put means permit. God's not

  205. in the putting of any disease on anybody because

  206. God doesn't have disease to put on somebody.

  207. Huh? Jesus was anointed of the Holy Ghost and

  208. power who went about doing good and healing all

  209. who were oppressed of the... There you go. Amen.

  210. Oral Roberts years ago got in trouble because

  211. he said God's a good God and the devil's a bad

  212. devil. Can you think of that? That people actually

  213. hated him for that because he made a distinction.

  214. Today, erasers are being handed out to our kids

  215. at the local schools so that they can erase every

  216. line that seems to, in some way, impinge upon

  217. their idea of what makes them feel good. And

  218. that's why we're losing the generation, because

  219. what is is what is, and what's not is what's

  220. not. And we've got to have clear lines of definition.

  221. Well, that makes me feel bad. You need to so

  222. that you can make a better choice. I'm not going

  223. to give you a pink ribbon. Pink ribbons don't

  224. exist. We only have a blue one and a red one

  225. and then maybe a white or yellow one. First,

  226. second, and third. And if you don't get on the

  227. team, then you can make a decision whether you

  228. want to work harder. Because if you make a better

  229. choice, then you'll have a better outcome. Well,

  230. that doesn't make people feel good. That's the

  231. idea. Find something that you can do where you

  232. enjoy it and excel. I was just looking at some

  233. of you and I'm thinking, wow. Praise the Lord.

  234. So he cried out to the Lord. The Lord showed

  235. him a tree. When he cast it into the waters,

  236. the waters were made sweet. He makes this ordinance.

  237. And he says, I will permit none of the diseases

  238. upon you which I have brought upon the Egyptians,

  239. for I am the Lord who heals you, Jehovah Rapha.

  240. Now, just get this with me for a second. When

  241. the word Jehovah is used to describe a part of

  242. God's character and his desire to help humanity,

  243. the word Jehovah is used because that word right

  244. there shows you that he's going to put on a demonstration.

  245. The self -existent one who now reveals himself,

  246. reveal, manifest, shows you. God's showing up.

  247. God doesn't play, listen closely, hide and go

  248. seek. If he did, we'd never find him. Right?

  249. No. God plays show and tell. Hey, hey, hey. And

  250. we go, oh, oh my Lord. You're amazing. Did you

  251. see that? We'll tell somebody else to see. Now

  252. God's doing exactly what he wants. We're telling

  253. other people about it. And the more we tell people

  254. about it, the more it goes, the Lord will tap

  255. you on the shoulder and go, hey, look at this.

  256. And we go, oh my goodness. See, throughout all

  257. the eons that we are in heaven, God's going to

  258. put on another show, show, show, another show

  259. of his loving kindness in Christ toward us in

  260. Christ Jesus. And he's never going to run out.

  261. We're always going to be so blessed that I'm

  262. not even going to wear socks in heaven. Because

  263. they just keep getting blown away. You know what

  264. I mean? Blow my socks off. There they go again.

  265. Why wear them? Right? God just is amazing. And

  266. that he's amazing. He certainly can't outdo.

  267. He did it. He outdid yesterday already. And it's

  268. only seven o 'clock in the morning. What a day.

  269. Now this is who God is. He's always wanting to

  270. show you. Jehovah Rapha. So he's showing or demonstrating

  271. that he is their healer. Let me ask you a question

  272. here. What did he heal? Because he didn't heal

  273. anybody. Huh? What did he heal? The water. He

  274. demonstrated he's the healer and they'll never

  275. have to have disease. And he healed the water

  276. and didn't heal the people. Hmm. How come he

  277. didn't heal the people? Because they weren't

  278. sick. We sometimes forget Psalm 105, 37. He also

  279. brought them out with silver and gold and there

  280. were none feeble among his tribes. What came

  281. before them being brought out and there were

  282. none feeble among their tribes? The blood that

  283. was required to go over the door and down the

  284. sides. And the death angel passed through. And

  285. when he saw the blood, he passed on by. Do you

  286. know why he passed on by? It wasn't just because

  287. he saw the blood. The blood and the glory work

  288. together. Can't have one without the other. The

  289. blood and the glory. See, the blood made the

  290. way for the glory to come in. When that death

  291. angel walked, he was looking at somebody else

  292. looking at him and he walked right by because

  293. who was looking at him was the glory, the Holy

  294. Ghost. Now think about this. One night sleeping

  295. with the Holy Ghost and they all came out perfectly

  296. healed. One night. Come on, they've been working

  297. in their minds. They're bent over, arthritis.

  298. There's tumors. There's gross. There's blindness.

  299. There's deafness. There's hands can't move. Legs

  300. can't move. Maybe there's been amputations. One

  301. night with the Holy Ghost being invited to sleep

  302. with them. And then all of a sudden, you know,

  303. Ned, he goes, well, honey, it's going to be really

  304. good. And he goes, whoa. Whoa, did you see that?

  305. And she said, yeah, I can actually see you. and

  306. they all came out healed. And then the strangest

  307. thing happened also is God was upon them to the

  308. degree that they became money magnets. And Pharaoh

  309. did the dumbest thing he's ever done. But when

  310. the glory's in operation, the devil does really

  311. dumb things. And Pharaoh said, give them all

  312. your gold. What? Give them all your, are you

  313. sure? Give them all your gold. And so everybody

  314. that was Egyptian just came and gave them gold.

  315. And they came out healthy enough to drag it through

  316. the wilderness. And the reason why Pharaoh came

  317. after him is because for a few days he was eating

  318. on paper plates. And he said. Where's my gold

  319. plates? And his chief, you know, said, well,

  320. you told us to give it to. I would never. I didn't

  321. tell. Yes, you did. You made a decree. Here it

  322. is. And there's your ring right there. Give them

  323. all your gold. Why would I do that? So Pharaoh

  324. comes after him. If you listen to the theologians,

  325. it wasn't really a big miracle going through

  326. the Red Sea because they found a place where

  327. they really crossed, which was only two feet

  328. deep. And that's a greater miracle because Pharaoh's

  329. whole army drowned in two feet of water. You

  330. can't make this stuff up, folks. It's a whole

  331. lot better to just say, Lord, that's actually

  332. true, than to try to use your brain to figure

  333. this out. Now, this is amazing what happened

  334. here because the water and the condition that

  335. it was in would have made them sick. Because

  336. they weren't sick, which represents redemption,

  337. the healing covenant is about keeping you in

  338. divine health by making sure that there's nothing

  339. that can come against you that would ever make

  340. you sick. Now, this is important because I either

  341. have the football or I'm trying to get the football.

  342. And the church is always trying to get the football

  343. that doesn't seem to be in the right. But if

  344. you have the football, you can do whatever you

  345. need to say, devil, look at you. You can't touch

  346. me. Because you've got it. But we're always trying

  347. to get it. And if you're always trying to get

  348. what he released and gave you, then to the degree

  349. you try harder, you actually tell him that he

  350. didn't do what he did. I'm probably 42 or something.

  351. Standing in the bedroom with my wife and all

  352. of a sudden my bowels perforated, heard a snap

  353. on the inside of my body. Pain like I've never

  354. had before and I was pretty good with pain. Boom,

  355. I hit the floor. She's looking at me on the floor.

  356. Something serious has just happened. My lightning

  357. brain went real fast and said, can't go to the

  358. doctor because they don't have insurance and

  359. they're going to take all our money. And then

  360. I rethought that and thought, we don't have really

  361. much to take, but they'll still take it. And

  362. then my brain looked at her and she's always

  363. been very, very beautiful and still is. And I

  364. looked at her and said, well, if I die right

  365. now, somebody for sure is going to marry her

  366. and that's going to bring me back. So it's better

  367. that I stay. And so I said to her, get me up

  368. in the bed. I'm not dying. And then for two weeks,

  369. I did everything. Because see, default, default.

  370. I did everything I preached against. I'm trying

  371. to figure out where did I miss it? How could

  372. this have happened? Who did I offend? Did I not

  373. walk in love? Called people up, would you forgive

  374. me? They're like, forgive you for what? I'm doing

  375. all these things because see, it has to be something

  376. that I did. Because I accepted the problem, now

  377. I'm trying to get out of it. Isn't that interesting?

  378. Why would you open the door and let someone in

  379. if you have the ability to keep it closed? I'm

  380. over in Nigeria. I check in at this Hilton. I

  381. walk up to my room, go into my room, and within

  382. five minutes, a prostitute's at my door, knocking

  383. on the door, say, hey, I want to come in. I want

  384. to come in. And I said, get out of here. She

  385. said, I want to come in. I said, go. Never opened

  386. the door. And all of a sudden, she left. I marched

  387. right downstairs, got the manager. I said, who

  388. told her my room? owed her my room number. That

  389. so ticked me off. One of you making money off

  390. of her as she sleeps around with people. It's

  391. better just not to open the door. need to see

  392. what she looked like to tell her to leave. I'm

  393. just saying in the world, we're smart. But the

  394. moment we step into a building that's called

  395. a church, we go, duh. And we lose all sense of

  396. just being us. Sorry. I know I'm messing with

  397. you. But we're not seeing things like he wants

  398. us to see them. Come on, I got another one. I

  399. can't stay here. I got another one. I gotta go

  400. a little further. Come on over now to Deuteronomy

    Deuteronomy 28 chapter mention

  401. chapter 28. You're gonna love this one. Because

  402. you know, Jesus became a curse for us. Curses

  403. everyone that hangs upon the tree that the blessings

  404. of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ.

  405. And we preach about the blessings of Abraham.

  406. Praise the Lord that I am healed because I've

  407. got the blessings of Abraham. Amen. But I want

  408. to show you something here too. I want to end

  409. in your mindset right here this morning that

  410. in any way, shape or form, you're the problem.

  411. Because if you're not the problem and there's

  412. nothing between you and God, you can come get

  413. your healing and you can walk into the rest of

  414. your life. You gotta figure, if this thing's

  415. difficult in any way, shape, or form, the devil's

  416. got his hand in this thing. Messing this up,

  417. twisting our brains, making us think something

  418. that it's not so that it becomes a difficult

  419. scenario. Remember I talked to you about finding

  420. God? Some people say, I never heard God's voice.

  421. Yes, you have. Well, not that I know. I said,

  422. the only reason why you talk like that is because

  423. you got the volume of what you've been listening

  424. to so high that you're not hearing that he's

  425. actually been talking to you. Well, I'd like

  426. to really feel the presence of God. Well, then

  427. stop feeling the presence of what you feel that

  428. makes you feel what you feel. See, it's pulling

  429. back from this world that immediately catapults

  430. you to Christ. What he did, he really did. If

  431. we're not experiencing it, it's because we're

  432. overshadowed. There's a verse of scripture in

  433. the Passion Translation of Romans chapter 1,

    Romans 1:18

  434. verses 18, 19, and then through the rest of the

  435. verses, it says, the wickedness of humanity deliberately

  436. smothers the truth to keep you from acknowledging

  437. the truth about God. Now, truth means reality.

  438. Aletheia, reality. So the wickedness of humanity

  439. deliberately smothers what's real So that you

  440. don't acknowledge what's real. Because the moment

  441. you acknowledge what's real. You empower it in

  442. your life. To overcome and manifest itself. And

  443. the devil does not want you manifesting the power

  444. of truth. Because then that shows his lie. So

  445. deliberately the world is set up to smother.

  446. To hide what's real. So that you continue to

  447. walk in an illusion. Which is a misrepresentation

  448. of reality. So the question, you've heard Tony

  449. use this question too. I use it a lot. What's

  450. reality? Because maybe it's not what you think

  451. it is. Amen. And to actually walk in it and experience

  452. it, you're going to have to do that by faith.

  453. In other words, when you take your first step,

  454. it is not going to look good. It is not going

  455. to look like it's going to work. You're going

  456. to look like you're going under. You're going

  457. to look like you die. But you know what? You

  458. bet the farm on Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  459. That's just an exciting life to me. That gets

  460. my juices going. Where can I go ahead and step

  461. out where it looks like I'm going under? Dare

  462. to live or die. Well, real quickly, in that testimony,

  463. two weeks of doing all that religious stuff,

  464. my body whittled down from where it is right

  465. now to about 130 pounds. Couldn't look at myself

  466. in the mirror. Didn't have any muscle left on

  467. my body. Eyes sunk back into my head. Looked

  468. a little jaundiced. It was pretty sad, pretty

  469. pathetic. So I canceled all my meetings except

  470. one. I didn't know that I didn't cancel it. And

  471. here it is Thursday. Friday's coming. And then

  472. Saturday, I'm going to Sacramento to preach Sunday

  473. morning, twice in the morning, Sunday night,

  474. Monday morning, Monday night, Tuesday morning,

  475. Tuesday night, fly to Milwaukee, do a Wednesday

  476. night service, then fly back home on Thursday.

  477. And I'm like 130 pounds. So three o 'clock in

  478. the morning, Friday morning, I went out into

  479. a chair and I sat there and I said, Lord, I want

  480. to apologize and ask you to forgive me for one

  481. thing. I've been making it look like you didn't

  482. do what you actually said you did. I said, so

  483. from this moment, you and I don't have to talk

  484. about healing when I'm already healed. Why would

  485. I talk to you about it? Thank you very much.

  486. And now I'm going to make myself a milkshake

  487. because Erin was, you know, doing all she could,

  488. you know, in this earthly realm with all this

  489. kind of stuff she was feeding me. And there was

  490. this kind of like greenish, you know, porridge

  491. type stuff or whatever. At least that looked

  492. that way to me. And it was disgusting. And even

  493. at one moment I said, here, you take, I'm not

  494. taking that. So at three o 'clock in the morning,

  495. I made myself a chocolate milkshake and just

  496. drank it. And I said, oh, this is so good. It's

  497. so wonderful to be healthy. Woke up the next

  498. morning, did not feel any better. Saturday comes,

  499. I got myself ready. Aaron had to help me get

  500. my luggage into the car and my golf clubs into

  501. the car and get them out. And I left holding

  502. them. I couldn't walk straight. And I walked

  503. into the airport like this, like an old man at

  504. about 40 years of age, 42 years of age. When

  505. the pastor saw me, he looked at me and said,

  506. oh, dear God, what happened? Because he knew

  507. I was an athlete. And he said, I told him what

  508. happened. He said, I'll be preaching for you.

  509. You just take a rest here. This is a vacation.

  510. I said, if you do the preaching, you'll send

  511. me home in a six -foot pine box. Praise the Lord.

  512. That's right. Amen. And so I did the preaching.

  513. And the first service was a little rough. And

  514. he came out and he said, you're a little edgy.

  515. I said, yeah, if you felt like I felt, you'd

  516. be a little edgy too. And some of you are saying

  517. you were more edgy than you are right now. Well,

  518. this edgy comes with years. When you get a certain

  519. age, you start thinking, you know, I'm just going

  520. to be me. Do you know what I mean? You start.

  521. So this is a different edgy. So anyhow, I preached

  522. the next service. I was a little nicer. That

  523. afternoon, went home or went back to the hotel.

  524. Aaron wasn't there at the time. Went back to

  525. the hotel. And my body, as far as how it worked

  526. in the bathroom, worked normal. Now, you probably

  527. don't do something like this, glory, and run

  528. around the room when you come out of the bathroom.

  529. But I did. because my bowels had perforated.

  530. And that night, I got so happy I ran around the

  531. room. The only thing that discouraged me was

  532. I was so slow that Grandma lapped me three times.

  533. There she goes again. Am I going that slow? There

  534. she goes again. Wow, I guess I am. And I went

  535. back home 25 pounds heavier in just three days

  536. as God began to build my body back up. But I

  537. had to make what? The distinction between what

  538. was real and what wasn't real. And that's when

  539. things started working. Come on, stay with me.

  540. All right, listen to this. This is amazing because

  541. the first 14 verses are the blessings of Abraham.

  542. And verse 15 through verse 61. Get this, listen

  543. to this. Verse 15 through 61. You will be depressed

  544. if you read those verses. Because starting in

  545. verse 15 to 61 are the curses and the curses

  546. are nothing but every single sickness and disease

  547. you could ever get. And the writer goes on to

  548. say at the very end, and if I missed anything,

  549. well, you're going to get that too. Okay? So

  550. I just wanted to read this for you. Start in

  551. verse one. Now it's going to pass you diligently

  552. obey. I'm going to read fast. The voice of the

  553. Lord your God to observe carefully all his commands,

  554. which I command you today, that the Lord your

  555. God will set you on high above all nations of

  556. the earth. And all these blessings shall come

  557. upon you and overtake you because you obey the

  558. voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you

  559. be in the city. Blessed shall you be in the country.

  560. Blessed shall you be the fruit of the body, the

  561. produce of the ground, the increase of your herds,

  562. the increase of your cattle, the offspring of

  563. your flocks. Blessed shall you be in your basket,

  564. in your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when

  565. you come in and when you go out. The Lord shall

  566. cause your enemy to rise against you to be defeated

  567. before your face. They'll come against you one

  568. way. They'll flee before you seven ways. The

  569. Lord will command the blessing on you and your

  570. storehouse and all to which you set your hand.

  571. He will bless you in the land of which your Lord

  572. has given you. The Lord will establish you as

  573. a holy people to himself just as he swore to

  574. you. If you keep the commandments of the Lord

  575. your God and walk in his ways, then all the peoples

  576. of the earth shall see that you are called by

  577. the name of the Lord and they shall be afraid

  578. of you. And the Lord will grant you plenty of

  579. goods in the fruit of your body and the increase

  580. of your livestock in the produce of the ground

  581. and the land in which the Lord swore to your

  582. fathers to give you. The Lord will open to you

  583. as good treasure the heavens to give rain in

  584. the land in the season to bless all the work

  585. of your hand. You'll lend to many nations, but

  586. you'll not borrow. The Lord will make you the

  587. head, not the tail, above and only and not beneath.

  588. And you'll heed the commandments of the Lord

  589. your God, which I command you today in our...

  590. careful to observe them. You shall not turn aside

  591. from any of the words which I command you this

  592. day to the right or to the left to go after other

  593. gods before me. It does not mention you getting

  594. healed. There's no blessing of healing in the

  595. blessings. But you start verse 15 and it's nothing

  596. but sickness. What did God heal? The water. Because

  597. the people were already healed. Maybe God sees

  598. something we're not seeing. Maybe these bodies

  599. aren't as fragile as we think they are. Maybe

  600. we've bought into a lie. Because, you know, you

  601. think about it. Adam and Eve coming out of the

  602. garden. There was a first pain. And if it happened

  603. to be Eve, you know, catching her hip on a counter.

  604. Because, you know, they hadn't cooked before.

  605. That counter probably had edges on it. She's

  606. trying to keep from burning the water that's

  607. boiling, you know. I mean, they're figuring this

  608. out. And she hits her hip. And all of a sudden

  609. she says, ow. She limps a little bit and Adam

  610. says, what? What'd you say? She said, I said,

  611. ow. Why'd you say it? She said, because it hurts.

  612. Now, Adam doesn't know what ow is and he does

  613. not know what hurt is because he hadn't hit his

  614. hip yet. But we know Adam's not the smartest

  615. knife in the drawer. I mean, he is, but he isn't,

  616. you know. So Adam is like, well, I want to know

  617. what that feels like. So he goes over and just,

  618. and you know, a guy ain't as good with pain as

  619. a woman is. So he goes, ow, ow, ow, ow. She said,

  620. I told you. She said, it hurts. And she said,

  621. that's what I said. And all of a sudden he looks

  622. at hers and hers is kind of purplish and kind

  623. of bluish. Whoa. And he looks at his and his

  624. is a little bit pinkish and a little bit yellowish.

  625. And those are the first tattoos. There you go.

  626. Now, I say that because that's a first. We have

  627. so accepted the idea of pain. That now we carry

  628. things in our pockets and purses and have them

  629. in our medicine cabinets and stuff them in our

  630. cars. In case we have a pain, we can take something

  631. to mask the pain. And isn't it interesting how

  632. much faith we have in it that we'll actually

  633. head to a meeting while our head is pounding,

  634. knowing that we've taken four or five of these

  635. ibuprofen, that sooner or later before we get

  636. to the meeting, we will feel better to be able

  637. to function somewhat normally. But taking the

  638. anointing and the presence of God, we seem to

  639. have no skill set. And yet we actually do. Maybe

  640. the reason why there's so much sickness is because

  641. of Jacob's experiment with the sheep and the

  642. goats. What do you mean? Well, you know, his

  643. father -in -law was a real doozy. Can you imagine

  644. working seven years and that beautiful bride

  645. you're gonna look at and you take that veil off,

  646. ah, that's his sister. That sister's a little

  647. different. She got a mustache, you know what

  648. I'm saying? I put my foot in my mouth so many

  649. times. There's this, with a mustache right back

  650. there. And they raised their hand and said, sir,

  651. so what do you need? She said, I'm not a sir.

  652. I'm a woman. And I thought, well, you shaved

  653. that thing. That helped a little bit. I walked

  654. up to this couple and I said, this is such a

  655. wonderful couple. The guy looks at me and says,

  656. it's my mother. I looked to the mother, you know,

  657. because I'm working real fast to fix this. I

  658. looked to the mother and said, wasn't that an

  659. amazing compliment? She goes, that was very nice.

  660. I said, thank you. You got to get yourself out

  661. when you get yourself in. See what I'm saying?

  662. You got to be good at both. There's no healing

  663. in the blessing. Why? What are the conditions

  664. to these covenants working? What are the conditions?

  665. The sheep and the goats, thank you. Jacob, what

  666. did he do? Well, you know, the prize animals

  667. were the clear -coated. not the speckled and

  668. spotted. So Jacob, without a word of the Lord

  669. coming to him, figured something out. I can completely

  670. change this flock. If I'll bring the spotted,

  671. if I bring the clear -coated sheep that are the

  672. strongest, when they're in mating, when they're

  673. in the season to mate. Now, don't get weird with

  674. me, okay? I'm not trying to get... weird with

  675. you. But the idea that they're in a season of

  676. mating, you know, like you don't mess or get

  677. around deer when they're in the rut. Because

  678. those bucks are not thinking straight. And if

  679. they see you, even though you ain't going after,

  680. you know, his honey, you see? But he looks at

  681. you as a competitor when his mind ain't thinking

  682. right. Because he ain't thinking with, he's not

  683. thinking up here. I stopped. I stopped. Amen.

  684. I just left it up here. You're not thinking here.

  685. Now, I'm not trying to get weird here, but I'm

  686. saying there is emotion and there is passion.

  687. See, what you're passionate about, what you get

  688. emotional about will move you. And if you're

  689. being moved by Jesus, you're being moved by something

  690. else. So you got to guard your affections. Why?

  691. Because your affections affect all that you are.

  692. That's the passion translation of Proverbs 4,

    Proverbs 4:20

  693. verse 20, 24. So he knew when to do his little

  694. experiment, when there's a little heat, when

  695. there's a little passion, when there's a little

  696. bit of movement. And what did he do? He put poplar

  697. branches in the trough so that when they're in

  698. heat, And being mated, they're actually looking

  699. at themselves through a reflection of being spotted

  700. and speckled. And they gave birth to spotted

  701. and speckled sheep. If it can work for them,

  702. then 75 plus percent of the commercials that

  703. you look at are about drugs reminding you that

  704. you're sick. And this is a society that is literally

  705. on drugs. 5 % of the world's population consuming

  706. more than 75 % of the world's medicine. We have

  707. already bought into the idea here in America,

  708. I'm sick, just give me some pills. Instead of,

  709. I refuse to accept that. There's no reason for

  710. me to be sick. Do you know what really works

  711. well with people? When sickness comes on and

  712. they say something like, I don't have time for

  713. this. Guess what? Those people don't end up being

  714. sick. Just because they don't accept it. I don't

  715. have time for this. I've got too much on my plate.

  716. I can't be sick. I'm going to work anyhow. Boom,

  717. it'll leave. But the moment you accept it, the

  718. moment you buy into it. Jesus actually thinks

  719. he did a good job. He actually took the infirmity,

  720. bore the sickness, and with his stripes, you

  721. actually are healed. But we're the ones that

  722. believe in the sickness. Not meaning this wrong,

  723. but you wear pink in October. Now, when I was

  724. growing up, pink wasn't a color that a guy wore.

  725. And if you wore it at the wrong time with the

  726. wrong guys, boom! Now it's acceptable to wear.

  727. How come people wear pink? How come football

  728. players wear pink? Because we are honoring those

  729. women who have had breast cancer. It's the wrong

  730. way to honor them. Because the more you look

  731. at the pink and you think of the breast cancer,

  732. the more you now are creating more breast cancer.

  733. If we could get everybody to wear in October

  734. crimson red shirts and remind yourself of the

  735. blood of Jesus that has cleansed us from all

  736. sickness and disease, we could clear out hospitals

  737. without even having to go to them. Listen, we've

  738. been made in the image and likeness of God, and

  739. it's a good thing, but it's a bad thing. Having

  740. a shotgun ready to shoot at a deer when your

  741. family doesn't have any food and it's 15 feet

  742. away and you're going to kill it and you're going

  743. to be able to eat and keep your family alive

  744. is a good thing. But having that shotgun in the

  745. hands of a four -year -old pointed at a two -year

  746. -old is a bad thing. See, depending on what you

  747. do with you being made an image that likes God,

  748. if you point into the wrong direction, you'll

  749. create the wrong thing. If you don't like where

  750. you're at today, go back to checking up on what

  751. you've been believing and what you've been speaking

  752. because you created it yourself. We've got all

  753. the ammo. We've got everything we need. Jesus

  754. has already done the work, and we're still trying

  755. to get something that he's already gotten us.

  756. Now, I ask you again as we close this thought,

  757. because you can tell I'm going a mile a minute

  758. here, and I've got to close. What are the conditions

  759. to be able to operate in this? Righteousness.

  760. What? If you diligently obey every single thing

  761. that's in there and don't vary at all, then this

  762. will work for you. In both scenarios, righteousness

  763. is the condition. In other words, when Abram

  764. believed and God in the passion, it says he transferred

  765. into Abraham's account. Faith transferred righteousness

  766. into his account. And the promise wasn't fulfilled

  767. by works, but it was fulfilled by the righteousness

  768. which was transferred into the account. Now,

  769. let me ask you a question. I'll explain this.

  770. Does God seamlessly work with himself? It's not

  771. a trick question. Yes. Why? There's nothing in

  772. the Father, Son, or Holy Ghost that is contrary

  773. to one another. There's no tainting of sin, unbelief,

  774. skepticism, reason, or doubt that could make

  775. a hang -up in God saying, this is what we're

  776. going to create. Jesus comes out and speaks it

  777. while the Holy Ghost has already been hovering

  778. upon the face of the earth. Doing what? Preparing

  779. the soil to manifest the moment Jesus speaks.

  780. Come on, when Jesus spoke, the Father wasn't

  781. saying for two or three eons, I believe, I receive,

  782. I believe, I receive, I believe, I receive, I

  783. believe, I receive. Because the Holy Ghost is

  784. the agent who actually was given to us as the

  785. first individual personality mentioned in the

  786. scriptures. You would have thought it had been

  787. the Father. You would have thought it had been

  788. Jesus. Guess who it was? The Holy Ghost. And

  789. he wasn't just mentioned, he was given a description.

  790. He was hovering. Hovering is to brood. Brood

  791. is to incubate. Incubate is to provide warmth

  792. so as to bring a hatching or a manifestation.

  793. The Holy Ghost is the manifester. And what does

  794. he do? Well, one thing you know for sure is he's

  795. never late. He's always early. The quarterback

  796. doesn't throw a pass to a receiver who's standing

  797. still. He throws a pass to someone who's already

  798. going to the place where he's going to receive.

  799. The touchdown. The Holy Ghost is always ahead

  800. of you, working and manifesting. He's been in

  801. this room when we sing, come down spirit, come

  802. down. Yeah, he down, he down, he down, right

  803. here. Amen. He's here. He's warming up your seat.

  804. He's warming up the next seat. He's warming you

  805. up in your mentality and in your thoughts. I

  806. mean, take God out of the equation and we're

  807. nothing. We need him in every area of life. And

  808. the Holy Ghost is here manifesting right now

  809. in this room. While I'm talking, I'm releasing

  810. power. I am not preaching to you. I am ministering

  811. to you. To minister means to dispense. My wife

  812. grew up on a dairy farm. There's a lot of dispensing

  813. going on on a dairy farm. Good things are dispensed.

  814. And things you shouldn't step in are dispensed

  815. to. And when you're in it, you know you're in

  816. it. To dispense, we can preach a message and

  817. just preach a message. Or we can release power

  818. while we're saying what we're saying. What's

  819. the difference? It's what you believe in. What

  820. are the terms? Righteousness. He who knew no

  821. sin, God made to be sin on your behalf that we

  822. might become or that we might be made the righteousness

  823. of God in Christ. Do you realize what this covenant

  824. on this side did? It gave you every key to every

  825. blessing without you doing a single thing. If

  826. I'm righteous, I can't be sick. That's why there's

  827. no need to put in the blessings, a healing. When

  828. someone's righteous, they cease to be sick. You

  829. say, this doesn't make sense to you. Yes, it

  830. does. That's why Jesus said, which is easier,

  831. to forgive the man's sin or to heal his body,

  832. but that you may know that I am able to forgive

  833. sin. Take up your bed and walk. In other words,

  834. they're included in the same package. It's the

  835. dual redemption. When I'm righteous, the Lord

  836. goes before me to remove things so that I won't

  837. ever have to be sick. It's the same work. Let

  838. me ask you one more question. How did Jesus do

  839. what Jesus did? You know, that withered hand

  840. is probably one of the worst withered hands I've

  841. ever seen in my life. Let's see if we can't get

  842. that healed. No, what did he say? Stretch your

  843. hand out. Wait a minute. He didn't say, give

  844. me your withered hand. He said, stretch your

  845. hand out. I got a friend. He went home to be

  846. with the Lord. His name is Buzzy Sutherland.

  847. Now, there's nobody in Oregon named Buzzy Sutherland.

  848. There's no one in New York named Buzzy Sutherland.

  849. That's got to be somewhere in the south. It's

  850. El Dorado, Arkansas. You can't get to El Dorado,

  851. Arkansas unless you're just lucky. He told me

  852. one day, he said, in the ninth grade, they tried

  853. to teach me the algebra. He said, all these X's

  854. and Y's had numerical value. He said, I wasn't

  855. real bright. He said, but my final exam said

  856. X plus Y equals 49. Figure out what X and Y is.

  857. He said, I got so happy. I took my paper, went

  858. right up to the teacher, put it on her desk.

  859. And I said, if I got the 49, what do I care what

  860. X and Y is? Some of you get that a little bit

  861. later, but anyhow, the idea is, is when you got

  862. an answer, you can't have a problem. Figure out

  863. the problem. I already got the answer. What are

  864. you saying? A problem is not a problem when you

  865. got an answer. Jesus didn't look at the people

  866. like they had a problem. Because he'd be the

  867. answer. So he told a blind man, go home. How

  868. does a blind man go home? Well, the first thing

  869. you know is, anyway, we'll do. And in the going.

  870. His eyes opened up and he turned around and followed

  871. Jesus. Jesus always treated people like they

  872. were already well. Why? When you stand in the

  873. presence of the answer, you can't act like there's

  874. a problem. And guess what happened? That answer

  875. jumped inside your skin. He's living inside your

  876. body. One translation, Galatians 2 .20 says,

  877. I've died and now I'm enjoying my second existence,

  878. which is simply Jesus. using my body. If the

  879. answer's inside my body, no wonder he doesn't

  880. have to get you healed in a blessing. If you're

  881. righteous, you ain't sick. No wonder he doesn't

  882. have to try to get you healed in a covenant that

  883. says, I am the Lord that heals you, when he's

  884. the one, if you're righteous, that goes before

  885. to make sure you never get sick, because you're

  886. well. Maybe some of you right here are just a

  887. whole lot more healed than you think. And maybe

  888. with your connection to the Holy Spirit, your

  889. body start changing instantly. Girl came to me,

  890. last story I'll tell you. Girl came to me, she

  891. was real buffed. I mean, I could tell you, she's

  892. real strong looking, young. And I thought, this

  893. girl must be an athlete. She says, I can't lift

  894. my arms above my shoulders. I said, what happened?

  895. She said, well, I'm a college softball player.

  896. I got a scholarship. I'm ready to lose my scholarship.

  897. I had an injury and both arms won't lift. Doctors

  898. don't know why. I said, well, what if they could?

  899. She said, that'd be great. I said, well, maybe

  900. you can't. She said, no, I told you, I can't

  901. lift them in here. I said, well, what if they

  902. could? She said, well, that'd be great. I said,

  903. maybe you can't. She goes, I told you I can't

  904. lift them. I said, but what if you could? She

  905. said, that would be great. I said, well, maybe

  906. you can't. She said, I told you I can't. And

  907. then she looked. She looked around and she said,

  908. what did you do to me? And I said, really, I

  909. didn't do much except hold you in a place long

  910. enough for God to be able to do what he's already

  911. done. Wow. There's healing in this air. From

  912. now on, you can't come to Life Bible Church.

  913. Without breathing in healing. It's in the air.

  914. It's in the air. The very first night in prayer

  915. before I got here, I knew that God was going

  916. to, from that moment, impregnate the air of this

  917. building with healing power. You say, wait, wait,

  918. wait, wait, wait. You really think that's what?

  919. It's so possible. You know, they went and found

  920. where John G. Lake lived in Portland, Oregon.

  921. Two hours away. And in the house, the man had

  922. lived there all the years since Lake sold him

  923. that house. Only one owner. And he was still

  924. in that house. He was an older man. And he asked

  925. him, why are you come to this house? And they

  926. told him it's because it was John Lake. He said,

  927. that's right. I bought it from him. He said,

  928. well, he was a healing minister. And they began

  929. to tell him stories about Lake. And he then all

  930. of a sudden woke up and he said, come to think

  931. of it. Ever since I stepped into this home, Since

  932. I've lived here, I've never even had a cold.

  933. The glory got into the wood. It got into the

  934. cloth. It got into the ceiling. It got into the

  935. air. And that glory is inside of you. If the

  936. children of Israel could sleep one night, one

  937. night in the presence of God, than me, 60 years

  938. saved. I'll slap myself. I've been sleeping with

  939. Jesus for 60 years and I've had trouble. It's

  940. like, wake up, one breaks out and you'd be instantly

  941. healed. The devil's been pulling the wool over

  942. our eyes, folks. I only got one minute left.

  943. Lift up your hands right now. I command the blessing

  944. of the Lord upon you this day. That as your hands

  945. are lifted up like IVs that just drip, drip,

  946. drip, drip through the IV into your veins, into

  947. your body. I command the healing blessing of

  948. God that is in Christ because you are the righteousness

  949. of God in him. I command that blessing to flow

  950. into your bodies right now. cancer cell and removes

  951. every disease. There are infections in the bladders

  952. that are being healed right now. There are hips

  967. is pain behind the eye and that disappears right

  968. now in the name of Jesus. I see the spine from

  969. the top of your head down to the very back of

  970. your rear end. I see the power of God setting

  971. your spine free. Every pain coming out of you

  976. free right now in the name of Jesus. Every tumor

  977. and bump and lump and growth in this room, I

  978. command you to dissolve and die right now. You

  979. have no right to be on a righteous child of God.

  980. Brain development. I release you from the brain

  981. fog that causes you to doubt. I command that

  982. spirit that wraps its hands around your mind,

  983. hindering your ability to think. I command that

  984. to stop. Lord, by your wonderful grace, this

  985. room is experiencing the healer in great power

  986. and great glory. Thank you, Lord. Thank you,

  987. Lord. Thank you, Lord. And so give me your hands

  988. turned up like this. In the name of the Lord,

  989. you shall not only walk in the blessing of the

  990. Lord and the healing virtue of Jesus Christ,

  991. but from this moment, the healing power of God

  992. settles in your hands. And that healing anointing

  993. will walk with you. And you'll begin to know

  994. because your hands will begin to burn like fire.

  995. The presence of the Lord will come out of you

  996. like fire. The Holy Ghost and fire, praise the

  997. Lord, is now a part of your ministry. And you'll

  998. minister this healing virtue and this place will

  999. see miracles in Jesus' wonderful name. And that

1000. is now being given to you by the word of the

1001. Lord. Everybody lift your hands. One more moment.

1002. Father, thank you for these people. Thank you

1003. for the glory. Thank you for what you're sharing

1004. to us. We are sharp. We are quick to receive.

1005. We are open vessels. And we are the righteousness

1006. of God in Christ. And we will not accept the

1007. heinous work of Satan in this world when we have

1008. been delivered and set free through the power

1009. of that blood. In Jesus' name, somebody say amen
