  1. Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to

  2. the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so

  3. glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe

  4. God will transform your life.

  5. Do today's message, and today I have an assignment, and

  6. so I need everybody to buckle up because I want

  7. to let you know that God gave me confirmation of

  8. this message I'm about to speak to you. Seventy eight

  9. days ago, I was in a conversation with Pastor Bris

  10. before I headed off to sabbatical, and God told me

  11. the series that we are starting today was supposed to

  12. be my first series, first message coming back off of sabbatical.

  13. This series is.

  14. Prophetic because when God gave it to me, the climate

  15. of our culture was not as sensitive, electric and divisive

  16. as it is just seventy eight days later.

  17. I don't know if you've been watching the.

  18. News lately, and I don't know what's been coming up

  19. on your Instagram feeds, but all the fun TikTok videos

  20. seem to be dolled down a little bit, and it

  21. feels like there's the vision and angst and worry and

  22. pain and pressure and hurt, and there's all kinds of

  23. things that the enemy is trying to use at this

  24. current moment to watch this break the soul of people.

  25. Y'all didn't hear what I just said. He's trying to

  26. break your trust in good. He's trying to break your

  27. trust and the things that God gave his son for.

  28. And you may not be seeing it yet, But today

  29. I stand in this prophetic assignment being obedient in the moment,

  30. we're cold, sure needs a solution. Christians need a solution,

  31. The Church needs a solution, and most of us will

  32. be okay letting somebody else be a part of the solution,

  33. and we stand by in comment on it. Oh, I'm

  34. gonna tread real lightly for the next five minutes and

  35. then I'm gonna kick you.

  36. Okay.

  37. I just need you to understand we all got to

  38. get in the same story right here. What if nobody

  39. else is coming. What if your side comment to your

  40. cousin is not enough to see what God wants to

  41. see on this earth. What if you have to get

  42. active and be a part of what God wants to do.

  43. In the earth right now?

  44. What if this last week was the demarcation line of

  45. you being a passive believer.

  46. What if it's no longer.

  47. Okay for you to have an opinion without affiliation. Okay,

  48. today I have to walk us into what I believe.

  49. And I told our team this might be one of

  50. the most transformative series that I've ever preached because we

  51. got to do some work on us. I got four amen's.

  52. I said, we got to do some work on us.

  53. Where are all the people that know that everything ain't

  54. like it like you're showing it on Instagram? How many

  55. people know you need God to do some work on you? Okay,

  56. by the end of it, we'll get all of them, Kaylee,

  57. don't worry. We're gonna get all of them. This week,

  58. the news has been filled with things that have been tragic.

  59. This is not the meat of my sermon, but I

  60. have to address things that are happening so that you

  61. can see how God wants you to position yourself in

  62. the midst of culture.

  63. Can I tell you something.

  64. God is not taking culture away from you. You can't

  65. just avoid what's going on, and some of you that

  66. is your mission.

  67. Stay away, dodge on new matrix all you're trying to do.

  68. I don't talk about politics, I don't talk about race,

  69. I don't talk about people being big.

  70. I don't talk about people being skinny. I don't talk.

  71. About ice cream, I don't talk about lactos.

  72. I don't talk about going through the mood.

  73. All you do is spend your whole life dancing around

  74. things that puts you at the mercy of other people

  75. instead of being the change agent in every environment you

  76. go into. And so I'm going to make a few

  77. statements to let you know where we're atting culture is

  78. re what we're dealing with is watch this word evil.

  79. The evil displayed in the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the

  80. evil displayed in the fatal stabbing of a twenty three

  81. year old woman that is literally getting off of work

  82. and going home on a train.

  83. The evil displayed.

  84. In the Evergreen High School shooting, which is the forty

  85. eighth mass shooting in America this year.

  86. The evil that is on display and all the.

  87. Inhumane experiences that are happening all over the world. In

  88. Sedana and in Congo and Afghanistan. There are children caught

  89. in conflict and toil. I'm talking about your grand babies.

  90. There are people that look just like your grand babies

  91. that are walking around in the street while rockets are

  92. going over their head and people aren't dropping aid from

  93. any sky.

  94. They are literally trying to survive. That's happening right.

  95. As you're complaining it's too cold or too hot in

  96. this arena, okay, as you're trying to figure out where

  97. you're gonna DoorDash and how quick you're gonna get out

  98. of here so you can make it to brunch. Somebody

  99. hasn't eaten in fourteen days, okay, And the situations that

  100. we are scrolling past on social media are somebody's real

  101. life today. I need the church to recognize that we

  102. are in a season that the front newspaper is reading

  103. like a page right out of revelations. I mean, word

  104. for word wars and rumors of wars.

  105. Do y'all hear what I'm saying to you today? Earthquakes

  106. are happening.

  107. The whole earth is groaning, earthquakes in Afghanistan, tsunamis all

  108. kinds of things happening that we.

  109. Don't know how to explain.

  110. And what I've come to the conclusion of as I

  111. wrestled with standing in this position, I was like, Lord,

  112. could you have let me not come back.

  113. Two weeks ago?

  114. That would have been an easier entury, like first week back. Wow,

  115. he said, get in your spot. He said, tell the

  116. people what I told you to tell them seventy eight

  117. days ago. He said, I'm that good that I gave

  118. you foresight for where you're gonna be right now. I

  119. gave you a word for where the people would be

  120. right now.

  121. This is not you, this is me.

  122. Yeah, And I have to acknowledge the humanity. It feels

  123. heavy right now.

  124. Can we be honest? It feels heavy.

  125. People are hurting, people are angry, People are watch this worried.

  126. I've heard people say in my whole lifetime, I've never

  127. seen it be like this. I've never seen people come

  128. like this. I've never seen these things happen. And people

  129. aren't just worried. There's something worse. Many people are weary.

  130. But Matthew eleven twenty eight is going to be our

  131. anchor scripture for today. And if you are any of

  132. those things, this is the response of our savior. If

  133. you're watching online, get ready, I need you to take.

  134. Good notes today.

  135. It says, then, Jesus said, not one of his disciples,

  136. not one of his homies, not one of the followers.

  137. Jesus said, this. Come to me, all of you who

  138. are weary, and every person that's carrying a heavy burden.

  139. I want to trade you. If you come to me

  140. with it, I will give you what rest. Say it again, Rest,

  141. say it one more time. How many people could use

  142. some rest? I didn't say sleep. Some of y'all just

  143. need to turn off the fight and turn off Netflix

  144. and turn off you could get sleep, okay, But the

  145. truth of the matter is people get sleep and still

  146. don't have God says, I want to offer you something

  147. better than sleep. I want your anxiety to go down

  148. because not the situation changed, because you know who's.

  149. In control of it. Somebody shot at me one more time.

  150. Rest, he said, I will give you rest. And he said,

  151. check me out, Take up on my yoke, take my

  152. yoke upon you. Let me watch this word teach you,

  153. which implies to me that in all of your educations,

  154. and you having more degrees than a thermometer, in all

  155. of the chat GBT and you do as well as

  156. the Google YouTube search that you have saved in your phone,

  157. there are some things you still don't know.

  158. If we do not.

  159. Approach what God desires to do in our life with

  160. the level of humility, we will not be able to let.

  161. Watch God teach us.

  162. And I'm asking all of us to allow Jesus to

  163. teach us, he said, because I am humble and gentle

  164. at heart, and you're gonna miss it.

  165. So I'm gonna tell you again. And when you let

  166. me do this, you will find.

  167. Let me tell you where rest happens in your soul.

  168. Sleep is what happens for your body. Rest is what

  169. happens in your Your mind is tired, your will is

  170. worn down, your emotions are exasperated, And God says, I

  171. want to give your mind, will and emotions rest. I

  172. want that pressure, that anxiety, that always feeling like something

  173. else gotta change.

  174. I need you to just.

  175. Everybody, take a deep breath in, let it out, say rest,

  176. he said. The only reason I can promise you that

  177. is for my yoke is easy to bear, and my burden.

  178. I give you is light.

  179. The one thing that I want to say in this

  180. is that you will still have.

  181. A burden when you come to Jesus.

  182. A lot of people come to Jesus and they're like,

  183. I thought I wasn't gonna have to do nothing. No, no, baby,

  184. he said, my burden is.

  185. It's light.

  186. It means you still gonna have it, but you're either

  187. gonna have more strength than you need to carry it

  188. or it's not gonna be too heavy to.

  189. Weigh you down.

  190. And some of us are carrying burdens that are who

  191. told you you had to live in that neighborhood? That's

  192. a heavy You don't even look happy come into that house.

  193. Every time you get there, the glass needs to be cut.

  194. Look at the pegoone.

  195. Gifts you comparing with the neighbors you Looking at the garage,

  196. I really want to glass garage. And and I'm using

  197. this as one example. Why is the burden so heavy?

  198. Then you bring that energy into the house. Oh, the

  199. creaky door, I need some WD.

  200. Can you get some WD forty for these doors?

  201. Coming into the energy is like hello, hey, how you doing?

  202. Nothing works? This toilet don't plush? I need better water

  203. press all of these things. And I'm giving you an example.

  204. But have you ever considered that.

  205. The burden may be too heavy?

  206. Today?

  207. In this series, I've learned that we don't look like

  208. this scripture.

  209. Most of y'all.

  210. I want to tell you look cute, but the heavy

  211. on you.

  212. I can see the burden.

  213. I know your kid got every Jordan, but the burden

  214. of keeping.

  215. Up with that I know. I know you keep climbing

  216. the corporate ladder, I know.

  217. And then you just got a promotion, and you just

  218. get a person and a man just got another promotion.

  219. But it doesn't seem.

  220. Like that's light enough for you.

  221. It seems like every time I talk to you.

  222. You weary.

  223. Have you ever met anybody that's like living the life

  224. but wearydoing it? It's like you just got off a trip, yes,

  225. and I gotta pack again.

  226. It's like, hold on, we can switch. See y'all know

  227. what I'm saying.

  228. Like, oh my God, and I ts say like, wait,

  229. hold on, I don't even got pre checked.

  230. I'll stand in the line.

  231. Beware when the blessing feels heavy. And what's happening here

  232. is the reason why our culture doesn't look rested, our

  233. souls are not rested. Why in some of the best

  234. seasons of my life on paper, I was unrested in

  235. my soul. It's because I was not acknowledging something that

  236. was happening on the.

  237. Inside of me.

  238. I would not admit that I was triggered the sermon

  239. series that we are going into is called triggered because

  240. everybody in this room has something that if it happened

  241. right now, we would see a different version of you.

  242. I mean, it could just be a person walking in here.

  243. And you would turn into It could be me bringing

  244. up a certain topic, and if I bring up that topic,

  245. it's gonna send you into a place that loses all

  246. recollection of where you at right now. There are certain

  247. things in your life that are triggering to you that

  248. you are not acknowledging that they're affecting you in a

  249. way that is taking you out of rest. Okay, You've

  250. become so used to dealing with them that you.

  251. Have now started to use them.

  252. As excuses to act the way that you act. And

  253. God told me, he said, Michael, I want you to

  254. start a series called trigger Finding Christ in the crash Out.

  255. Finding Christ in the crash Out about.

  256. Finding crash in a crash out. I know we are

  257. trying to find who Christ in the what? How many

  258. people that ever crashed out before crashed out? Okay, we're

  259. a multi generational church and and a multi ethnic church,

  260. and I know there were some people that were looking

  261. like crashed out and depending on how old you are

  262. right now if somebody was like, man, I'm gonna crash

  263. out there like you sleepy, because in a certain generation

  264. it was like I'm gonna lay right here and I'm

  265. gonna crash out, and it was like, oh, he's asleep.

  266. I get it.

  267. But part of the advantage of being a father of

  268. young children is every two to three years I start

  269. to learn new language. And this week my Bella turns

  270. twelve years old, Lord Jesus, and I remember her coming

  271. to me telling me about an incident with some of

  272. her friends.

  273. And I was following, and she.

  274. Was like, and such as such was doing this, and

  275. such a sigh was doing that, and such as sids

  276. and such a SuDS, and then she says, and she says,

  277. and when she said that, she was about to crash out.

  278. And I was like, I had everything up until crash out.

  279. What does that mean? Oh, that's when somebody's about to

  280. go crazy.

  281. They're gonna lose it, They're gonna do something uncharacteristic.

  282. Now let me re ask the question.

  283. I'm gonna give you an official definition, but has anybody

  284. in this room ever crashed out before? Done something you

  285. don't want to be remembered?

  286. Text? Something you wish you couldn't fool. Y'all know what

  287. I'm talking about. I don't know every husband in this room.

  288. You ever said something that you wish you could.

  289. Have been, like, disappear, rewind, turn it up? Did it

  290. this week?

  291. And many times what people don't understand is their triggers

  292. immediately lead to a crashout. There is not much time

  293. between something setting you off and you doing something crazy.

  294. Some of y'all been doing it all this week. You've

  295. been dming people all kinds of videos. You've been commenting

  296. on your fensta. Oh that's your fake Instagram account.

  297. Oh yes, fensa.

  298. Huh Okay, you didn't put it online, but you texting

  299. the people you know will agree with you. You're developing

  300. things in your What I'm saying to you right now

  301. is many of us are getting triggered.

  302. And the beautiful thing about triggers is that our triggers

  303. are unique. The thing that triggers you.

  304. Is not necessarily the thing that triggers me. And if

  305. you're gonna write down a definition, let me give you

  306. a poor man's definition of trigger. A simple definition. A

  307. trigger is something that sets you off.

  308. What's something that sets you off. Talk to me? Bad drivers?

  309. Somebody said, clock that teak, clock that tea? Like, did

  310. I saw you off? Salving? Whateut? Come on, y'all, talk

  311. to me. What sets you off? Liars? You're a liar?

  312. What else? What sets you off? What did you say?

  313. Dirty dishes? There was a mother was like, oh my god,

  314. Glory to God.

  315. Nasty food, bad service?

  316. Come on, talk to me. What's a trigger? What do

  317. you say? Disrespect?

  318. How dare you say that to me? You don't know

  319. me like that. If you knew me like that, you

  320. would have done something different because you don't know what's

  321. about to come next. You see how I start talking

  322. about your trigger, you start getting different, amens. There was

  323. a woman in back when I was doing that.

  324. She was like, yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah,

  325. like what you want to look like? She was ready

  326. to fight just off of a trigger. Now all of

  327. us need to start making.

  328. A list of the things that trigger you. Some of

  329. you have so many. It is just your life existence.

  330. Oh y'all, don't play with me. You walk around all

  331. day every day just waiting for somebody.

  332. But this term triggered is also used by psychology.

  333. Let me give you the psychological definition, it's a term

  334. used to describe someone having a strong emotional reaction, often anger, frustration,

  335. or offense in response.

  336. Watch this to something.

  337. They hear, see, or experience. Some of us have seen, heard,

  338. and experienced things that we said, We'll never experience that again,

  339. or if I make it out of this, i will

  340. never bring my kids back to this situation, Or if

  341. I ever have enough money, I'll never eat at this

  342. place again.

  343. Y'all ever ate somewhere, It's like I'll never.

  344. And yet, if you walk into a certain environment and

  345. smell something, a smell.

  346. Can be a trigger.

  347. It can take you back to a place, and that

  348. place then changes your emotion. Sometimes, if you grew up

  349. in a physically abusive house, hearing a door slam can

  350. be a what trigger?

  351. Your kids was just shutting the door? Don't you shutting

  352. my don't you slam my dow? It was like, Mama

  353. closed it. Something's going on with you. You need help.

  354. That wasn't my father. It was that the doors had need.

  355. But that trigger. Watch this is attached to a trauma.

  356. Right down this point I'm about to teach you through

  357. this whole series. Every trigger is attached to a trauma.

  358. Every trigger is attached to a trauma.

  359. You don't recognize it.

  360. You don't go slow enough to understand it. You don't

  361. even think that it's a real thing. I don't got

  362. no trauma in my life. But the reason you mad

  363. that your kid took the last of the juice.

  364. Don't you ever take the last of the juice? It's

  365. my mouth. You open the refrigerator, you see all this

  366. stuff in there. I bought that.

  367. When I go to work, I go to work to

  368. put this in the refrigerator for who?

  369. For me?

  370. Right? Because I can't work.

  371. There's shot labor laws against that, right, And your kids

  372. just sitting there. I was just thirsty, and you go

  373. on this whole spiel, but you crashed out because you

  374. were triggered because they took the last.

  375. Of the juice.

  376. But you didn't stop long enough to acknowledge that it

  377. was attached.

  378. To a trauma.

  379. That in your house you never got juice, and they

  380. used juice as a celebration for the child that did good. Oh,

  381. come on, y'all, Like, I don't know what it is.

  382. But if you stop long enough to recognize that every

  383. trigger is attached to a trauma, you not resting in

  384. God's rest because you're so triggered. Everything in everybody and

  385. the color they wear. Some of y'all used to be

  386. gang members. Anytime you see red, you triggered.

  387. We can't wear red, nobody could. Well, it's it's on

  388. hoof over here, it's on grib over here. It's what

  389. color can we wear?

  390. Which color in the primary colors does not trigger?

  391. Bro?

  392. I'm sorry, almost clock clocked on you be cuz.

  393. You rolled up here here in Bro. It's a color.

  394. Some of y'all know what I'm talking about. There are

  395. certain colors.

  396. Right now you save, healed and redeem, certain colors you

  397. don't got in your closet at all.

  398. Okay, y'all, I'm not all right.

  399. I'm gonna act like I got a real safe search.

  400. Let me put my glasses back on.

  401. Certain things that you were delivered from that you actually

  402. don't have freedom from. You just stay away from.

  403. Okay.

  404. I don't want to get into it. But the truth

  405. of the matter is the only way that you are

  406. in this utopia of freedom is.

  407. You've never been confronted with it.

  408. And so at the moment you get around weed smell,

  409. it triggered the moment around you get around the alcohol,

  410. the moment, the moment you start smelling the Chinese buffet.

  411. Oh, hold on, that's my own.

  412. Who that's my own situation, Scott, take me straight home

  413. after this.

  414. I can't stop at the Chinese. I'm telling you.

  415. When I go to a dirty Chinese food restaurant, I

  416. don't want to eat there, but I want to get

  417. it and I want to go and as soon as

  418. I mail it, it's like, be fat forever, Mike.

  419. No, I'm serious. I make two plates. I'm just like,

  420. just give it all the way, sell the gym.

  421. Equipment, open a Chinese restaurant. Bro, you can't have your

  422. own Chinese restaurant.

  423. It's like, but for years of my life, watch this.

  424. That trigger of food.

  425. Was attached to a trauma of not being able to

  426. handle emotions. So if I can't control that, I know

  427. I can control what.

  428. I put on this plate.

  429. And I'm a pilot high and I'm gonna sit there

  430. long enough to get a second.

  431. Helping and a third.

  432. But if you never confront it, that trigger is attached

  433. to a trauma. And if you do not allow Christ

  434. to get into this with you, I'm here to tell

  435. you you're gonna continue to crash out. What are you saying,

  436. Pastor Mike, You'll no longer be in control. You will

  437. only be reactive, never be able to give a response.

  438. There's a difference between a reaction and a response, and

  439. most of us are reacting because we're triggered. And God

  440. wants us to respond to culture, respond to our family

  441. members with his love, with his care, with his kindness.

  442. But the problem is you keep crashing out.

  443. You're creating so much carnage that the very people that

  444. you are going to be responsible for helping bring to

  445. Christ in a different season, you've already alienated them.

  446. What if the very.

  447. People you arguing with are the people that God has

  448. on his list for you to reach. I know you

  449. don't see it now, but you know you have no

  450. idea how God is connecting people right now.

  451. And so what I need everybody to do is write

  452. this down.

  453. Unaddressed triggers usually lead to a crash out. Today is

  454. gonna be my introduction because I got sixty pages of

  455. notes and you're not gonna be able to digest all

  456. of this. So we're gonna give it to you in

  457. little bites, and you're gonna pray about it, and you're

  458. gonna be exposed to it all week and you're gonna

  459. start to see things that trigger you. Please be warned,

  460. after hearing this message, you are going to go outside

  461. of here and something is going to happen as you

  462. will be the sermon illustration and you're going, for the

  463. first time in your life, be able.

  464. To recognize it's happening.

  465. I'm going from the trigger into a trap. And I

  466. think this is what Pastor Mike was talking about. I'm

  467. about to crash out. Let me give you a definition

  468. of crash out. Put it on the screen. This is

  469. a long definition, but it's gonna help us through this

  470. entire series because we want to find Christ in the

  471. middle of our crash out.

  472. Do y'all know that everybody want Christ after the crash out?

  473. Why do it be when somebody barely escaped being addicted

  474. to all of this stuff in jail for forty two

  475. years and now they've become a pastor.

  476. It's like at the end of the Behind the True

  477. Lie story.

  478. It is always like and now I'm on a journey

  479. of sobriety and stability.

  480. There's nothing wrong with that.

  481. I'm just saying was Where was that energy before the crashout?

  482. And usually it's never there because we don't acknowledge.

  483. That it is even an issue.

  484. Right now, I've been talking for twenty four minutes, and

  485. some of y'all still think this message is for somebody else.

  486. I've been sitting here talking to you like these young people.

  487. Show me this.

  488. You've been mean your whole sixties, you sixty nine, You've

  489. been mean since fifty nine. Nobody wants to be around you.

  490. You think it's because you wholy know your mean. They

  491. sense the glory, We sense your mean. I'm trying to

  492. get you to look at you right now. Somebody say

  493. this message is for me? Say it again, this message

  494. is for me. What are your triggers? What's making you

  495. crash out? Y'all know what I'm saying. Because the thing is,

  496. y'all think these are big things. You think these are

  497. things like being fired from my job. I'm about to

  498. crash out. Do y'all know one of the greatest triggers

  499. in me and my wife's marriage. I'm gonna just put

  500. it all out there. When I do this, no words exchanged.

  501. I didn't say nothing bad to her. She look at

  502. her right now, say movement, calm your neck down, calm

  503. your net.

  504. But she'll be talking, Mike, can you pick up the

  505. da da da da? And Saturday no da? And it

  506. went a part of my plan and I.

  507. It literally sucks all the thoughts out of her mind,

  508. and all she can focus on.

  509. Is the fact that my breath.

  510. And I'm telling you, there have been moments that have

  511. wouin days. Okay, I'm gonna tell on myself. It's win days.

  512. What'd you say, tell on yourself? That's what I'm doing.

  513. You want me tell on you?

  514. I got the mic. You want what you want to do?

  515. Never min never, ma never mina. Would y'all pray for me?

  516. I think the message is wing a little.

  517. And so many times after those moments it was almost

  518. as if listen to me, I wasn't in control of

  519. that moment. It was almost like I did it without

  520. even thinking. It was watch a reaction, not a response

  521. to what she was saying. She triggered me because she

  522. was talking and talking in circles and talking about stuff

  523. we already talked about and talking about and just talking.

  524. I mean, you was just she alty told me that

  525. I already said I'm going already did and what she

  526. was trying to do. Y'all pray for me.

  527. That's my wife in the red over there, y'all.

  528. I don't know what direction.

  529. Okay, but but but but there were times I do

  530. that breath and literally in the moment be like, why

  531. did I do that? Now I'm about to be undoing. Yeah,

  532. that one breath for the rest of the week, y'all

  533. know what I'm talking Married people, y'all better say something

  534. to me. That one breath, that one roll over in

  535. the bed.

  536. That y'all know what I'm talking about.

  537. They talking about something and you don't want to hear it,

  538. And that's the sign I'm going to sleep. Why does

  539. it happen so quick? Why do you snap on your

  540. kids so quick? Why wouldn't the white cop pull you over?

  541. You ready to.

  542. Why wouldn't the black cop pull you over? You ain't

  543. got no respect? Why Why wouldn't the teacher asked, hey,

  544. did you do this?

  545. Why are you assuming that I? Why did that?

  546. They were just asking you, did you turn your work?

  547. And why you assume I didn't turn my Why did Why.

  548. Did it go there? So fact? When? When? When when

  549. they say it's offering time you like the church just

  550. want my money? Why did it go there? You never gave.

  551. I mean, it's it's so crazy to me, Like the

  552. people who have never given anything to a church are

  553. the ones that are always talking about the church.

  554. Just want my money.

  555. It's so the pass can drive and look at that suit?

  556. Do y'all pay for that suit?

  557. And what?

  558. But why? But but this is the question. But why.

  559. It's because that trigger is attached to an unaddressed.

  560. If the church could learn that you're not just.

  561. Doing that because you just doing that, you are acting

  562. out of something that is real that you may not

  563. have acknowledged. The reason why you always get mean when

  564. your account gets to that certain number. Oh y'all know

  565. that number. All y'all got that number. All you got

  566. that number that when it gets to that number, don't

  567. talk to me.

  568. I'm having a bad day. I don't know what's going on.

  569. It's like you get paid tomorrow, but for that sixteen hours,

  570. if anything happens.

  571. You just in the house eating Raymond Noodle. Is just

  572. waiting for that deposit to come in.

  573. I can't have no accidents, no slip us, no mess up.

  574. All gonna be a good series.

  575. It is triggering because you were at a point one

  576. day that you said, I'll never be poor again, or

  577. I'll never have to want for them or watch us,

  578. You'll never have to ask for help, because asking for help.

  579. Is triggering for some of y'all. Oh, I'm in your

  580. business now.

  581. The reason that everything is so heavy is because you

  582. don't do life in community. You won't invite anybody into

  583. what's happening. You won't let nobody that know that you're

  584. actually struggling and you need prayer, and so everything to

  585. you has to be done on your shoulders.

  586. You're triggered, and that trigger is gonna lead to a

  587. crash out.

  588. I'm just telling you right now, I'm not gonna be

  589. surprised at what happens in people's lives over the next

  590. six months as we end this year, if they don't

  591. put Christ in the middle of this crash out, y'all

  592. think the stuff is about to subside now, and everything's

  593. about to get better in culture, and everything's about to

  594. go away, and nobody else gonna.

  595. Do nothing stupid. It's eight billion people in this world.

  596. Somebody about to do something stupid this week. Will you

  597. be tossed and turned by everything that happens in culture

  598. or will you be built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Okay,

  599. so let me give you this definition of crash out.

  600. Some of y'all have been up there a long time.

  601. Y'all see how big it is. You should have been

  602. writing already, but here we go. A crashout is when

  603. a person can be suddenly uncontrollably angry or act impulsively,

  604. potentially leading to negative consequences. This many times shows up

  605. as an emotional or physical shutdown, usually from burnout or

  606. over stimulation or being overwhelmed. The act, oh my God,

  607. of surrendering all reasonable control of your emotions and response

  608. in order.

  609. To react to how you are currently feeling.

  610. It could be a strong indicator that they are struggle

  611. with their mental health and need support. You keep blowing

  612. up at that family gathering, you keep causing drama at

  613. that workplace. All crash outs aren't created equally. Some of

  614. y'all are explosive crash outs. You turn it over tables,

  615. you getting loud in public places. And it's so crazy

  616. because that's what we think crashing out is. It's the

  617. ones that are explosive, the one that it's like, oh,

  618. I can record that I can get that on. But

  619. do you know there's also people who crash out implosively.

  620. When you crash out, you don't come outside, you don't

  621. post nothing, You go inward. You crash out, and you

  622. get that Ben and Jerry's and that blue bar and

  623. some oreos and go to your room. Y'all know what

  624. I'm talking about, and you destroy your temple trying to

  625. chase a feeling who's quiet in here? You go to

  626. negative self talk. You'll never be married.

  627. Hold on what that was? Just one bad day?

  628. But because you didn't address the trauma of perceived rejection.

  629. Any time anything doesn't work out, you think the people

  630. are rejecting you. And it could be that God's protecting you.

  631. They ain't for you anyway.

  632. But because it's perceived for rejection, you didn't crash out

  633. and you've never addressed that. Why do I feel better

  634. doing these things that I know tear me down, that

  635. I'm saying things to myself.

  636. I lean into.

  637. Addictions and depression and gossip.

  638. I lean into these things.

  639. Why because I haven't even acknowledged I'm triggered. Some of

  640. y'all church is triggering. That's why you sit way up there.

  641. That's why you come after praise and worship because you

  642. used to serve on a worship team and you have

  643. a gift that's so big, and you could run all

  644. of this, but that one experience that took your joy

  645. and how they abused you and did not see your value.

  646. It made you say, you're doing a good job just

  647. to be here. And I appreciate you for being here.

  648. But what if God has called you to more and

  649. some of y'all at home right now. The only reason

  650. you're not here is because people are here. You would

  651. do church if it didn't have people. Oh, come on, y'all,

  652. it's the people who trigger you.

  653. You walk in and you like people, people, people, people.

  654. I'm triggering going home? Sleep?

  655. And what if the very place that God wants you

  656. to actually have dominion is the place that the enemy

  657. is trying to delete you out of. What if the

  658. trigger is not supposed to be a place you crash out?

  659. What if the trigger is the starting point watch this

  660. of your transformation. What if every trigger is not supposed

  661. to be left as a trigger. What if every trigger

  662. is supposed to be the starting point of your transformation?

  663. What if the place that you get so frustrated is

  664. the very.

  665. Place that God is trying to say, if.

  666. You drop down and deal with the trauma, I'll take

  667. that thing and lead it to transformation for you.

  668. Okay, let me give you an example.

  669. All of your triggers are attached to a trauma. Okay, Okay,

  670. that's not too bad.

  671. I can live with that. Yeah.

  672. And every time they say they're gonna be on time

  673. and they late, that's a little tighter. And every time

  674. my family asks for money but don't pay me back. Whoo.

  675. I ain't snapped yet, I ain't crashed out yet. But

  676. if they do it again, come on, this is how

  677. we live. Yeah, my kid better say thank you three

  678. hundred times for that gift.

  679. That that work for.

  680. That because because you know, some people's trigger is the

  681. lack of appreciation. How many times can they say thank you?

  682. It's still not gonna fill that hole in your soul.

  683. You haven't.

  684. You haven't acknowledged that you're you're still triggered because you

  685. didn't get the affirmation from your father. So you're making

  686. your kids pay for what you didn't get from somebody

  687. they don't even know. Okay, week three, we'll talk about

  688. Week three.

  689. We'll talk about week three yep, trigger.

  690. Ooh yeah, forgiving people. Uh uh no, I know it's

  691. what the Bible says, but try Jesus. Don't try me

  692. because I throw hands. One songwriter said, can y'all see

  693. how we have cultural ideals but we know Christ's principles.

  694. And what ends up happening is when we come in

  695. and anybody gets close to us, anybody gets sharp with us.

  696. Anybody's having their own traumas as soon as they get

  697. close to us because of the tension between.

  698. Our trigger.

  699. And our trauma, crash out, crash out.

  700. Why did I cheat on them? How quickly?

  701. Because the tension has been y'all ain't been communicating. Okay,

  702. y'all don't want to talk real y'all ain't been communicating.

  703. And the woman at work be saying, how good? Tell me?

  704. How good?

  705. Are you?

  706. A good daddy?

  707. I see your little pictures with your son at his

  708. football games.

  709. That's so cute.

  710. I wish my son had a zaddy. You see that tension,

  711. it's so it can make sounds now and as soon

  712. as that one argument goes the wrong way, and it's

  713. just like, hey, let's go out for some drinks and

  714. you become inebriated, and now you have less.

  715. Control of your senses. Drinking ain't no sin.

  716. I hear y'all Christians. But you already make dumb decisions.

  717. You do dumb stuff without alcohol.

  718. Okay, let me you want you want to be worse.

  719. Ofus with between your trigger and your trauma is so tight,

  720. explosive crash out. Now your kids are picking up these pieces.

  721. Now your church is picking up these pieces because you

  722. wouldn't go to therapy, because.

  723. You wouldn't talk to nobody.

  724. See what God wants us to do is not not

  725. have triggers.

  726. He just wants the tension between them to not be

  727. so tight.

  728. My daughter, I asked bella earlier, I said, what's one

  729. of your triggers?

  730. He said, smacking.

  731. She said it with a conviction and then looked at

  732. us as to Ava, and then Ava looked at hers

  733. like it's Yodad beast man, and it was a whole situa.

  734. I was like, hey, hey.

  735. Come back, Goda gotta But the thing about it is

  736. for somebody smacking because of the trauma it's attached to,

  737. could be something that's this type in their life. But

  738. God's saying, I know you you ain't never gonna like smacking,

  739. but maybe I can change your character to where it

  740. doesn't affect you the same way like when they start

  741. smacking and they do the trigger.

  742. I didn't crash out.

  743. I may have communicated now, I may have moved.

  744. To the other side of the room. I may have said,

  745. you know what, that was a good conversation.

  746. I'll text you like you might. But the crash out

  747. does not have to be inevitable. If you would allow

  748. God to be in the middle Church, need you to

  749. come to a place where we can all acknowledge that

  750. we all have triggers that we are.

  751. Being controlled by.

  752. Today, I just want acknowledgement. I don't got enough time

  753. to go through all the things I got, graphs and

  754. pictures and everything. I'm just saying, some of y'all are

  755. not gonna make it through this week without crashing out.

  756. Your poor kids are going to be in therapy because

  757. of you. No, no, no, I'm telling you right now,

  758. they are going to be. The problem is some of

  759. the stuff doesn't have to be a trauma for them

  760. if you deal with what's really going on in Yeah, Okay,

  761. So this is what I'm gonna say as I begin

  762. to do my study on my own life. Y'all know,

  763. I can't preach nothing that God has not started working

  764. on meeting. And I've just realized there's some stuff that

  765. just oooh, for no reason, it's too tight in my life.

  766. That should not frustrate me like that.

  767. That should not make me want to move. Y'all know.

  768. Crashouts are extreme, like you do something, somebody do something'

  769. is like I'm moving. It's like, wait, what, No, I'm

  770. moving to Africa.

  771. No, you thought I was talking about Texas Africa. I'm

  772. out of here, Like y'all know what I'm saying.

  773. Like, have y'alls anybody ever had wild like thoughts before?

  774. And it's like I'm leaving.

  775. What I found is that every trigger is an invitation

  776. by God to transformation. I'm gonna show you one more

  777. image and then we're gonna go because it's gonna be

  778. enough for today, because you're gonna be triggered all week,

  779. and then you're gonna come back here and figure out

  780. what we're gonna do with it. Because God doesn't bring

  781. us out to leave us the same. So let me

  782. show you in a picture real quick. Put the trigger

  783. axis on the screen for me.

  784. Real quick.

  785. Just the one that says trigger and the one that

  786. says trap. If you got it so so, I'm gonna

  787. just show you this picture. Every person in this room

  788. has a trigger, okay. And if you do not acknowledge

  789. that it can trip you up, you will be deceived

  790. and fall into a trap. There will be something that

  791. enemy convinces you to do, or you do just because

  792. culturally that's what we did.

  793. Okay.

  794. Let me just give you all some examples, because y'all

  795. still looking at me. There are songs that are triggers

  796. for you, am I.

  797. In the church. How many no, If I.

  798. Start playing certain songs right now, tinglely start happening some

  799. of y'all, some of y'all. If I knuck, if you bug, knuck,

  800. if you bug, we knuck, and we look at you,

  801. Look at you.

  802. Look at you. Brie. I'm proud of you.

  803. You didn't even move right there, and you didn't. God

  804. has done a transformation. When I tell you, Brie is

  805. a y'all think she's.

  806. All calm and silence and peaceful nuhing.

  807. Okay. There are songs that could play right now and

  808. it would be a trigger. You would be fighting lust, anger,

  809. You would be fighting. Watch this, loneliness. You walk into

  810. the to the store and they just playing it on

  811. the loud speaker.

  812. Why are they playing this song?

  813. And what the enemy wants you to do is watch

  814. this with no time, go from the trigger to the trap.

  815. You don't even know why.

  816. You just text him.

  817. You walked into the store, you heard the song, You

  818. started feeling a type of way, and you was like,

  819. what you doing, big head? Knowing in your conscious mind,

  820. you like, I don't like him. This is gonna end bad.

  821. This is not a man of God. This is now

  822. who I want?

  823. What you're doing.

  824. I'm at the store, you want anything, y'all gonna act

  825. like it ain't happened to you. You watching a movie

  826. and a scene comes up that makes you.

  827. It triggers you back to a.

  828. Moment of hurt or loneliness or pain, and now you

  829. cancel the plans. No, no, no, I'm not You know I can't.

  830. You can't even fake cough good. I came down with something.

  831. And you will watch this. You will sabotage your future

  832. being one that is trapped by the trigger of your past,

  833. and God saying don't fall for it. He said, don't

  834. fall for it. Write this down. The place of your

  835. most sensitive trigger can also be the place of your

  836. most say.

  837. Transformation.

  838. The thing right now that you feel like, oh I can't,

  839. God said, if you would allow me, I'll use that

  840. to transform.

  841. You put that other axis up there real quick.

  842. So if you get triggered, don't fall into the trap.

  843. Look at your neighbor and say, don't fall into the trap.

  844. Don't crash out. Come on, tell them, don't fall into

  845. the trap. Do not crash out. Just hold on. There's

  846. a better option.

  847. Because so fast, trigger to the trap, trigger to the trap,

  848. trigger to the trap.

  849. I should stop saying that.

  850. So fast, trigger to trap, trigger to trap. Some of

  851. us have ruined relationships because the friend we prayed for

  852. when you told them, be honest with me, girl, like

  853. be honest whenever like.

  854. I'm tripping, be honest. And when she told.

  855. You Jerome is not good for you.

  856. You said, that's why I don't even have friends.

  857. I hang out with God better than I do girls

  858. any way.

  859. And now you fell for the trap.

  860. You sent the text, you sent the DM, you did

  861. the thing, and you fell for the trap because you

  862. didn't even think about it. And now you're lonely. But

  863. there's a different option. Put the other one. If you

  864. acknowledge today that your trigger is attached to a trauma

  865. right in the middle, you get an intersection.

  866. And the intersection.

  867. Between your trigger in the trap is that you got

  868. to drop down into the trauma. Where did it happen?

  869. Where did it start? Why do you not like being invited?

  870. Why do you feel so mad when they don't invite you?

  871. You be on Instagram?

  872. Fuman I was sitting right here and I got a

  873. red dress too. I could have gone, But what happened

  874. is that there was a trauma from you not being

  875. picked in middle school.

  876. Come on, y'all, and some of y'all right now, I

  877. hear my old folks lead the past in the past.

  878. No, keep your past keep showing up in your future

  879. because you won't handle what God keeps watch this, keeps

  880. allowing you to be triggered by He's not taking the

  881. trigger away.

  882. Pastor my Bible.

  883. Said, uh, he lets the friction be there so that

  884. he can lead you to transformation.

  885. You've been getting mad about.

  886. Bad drivers for fifteen years, and as long as you

  887. keep driving, there's gonna be bad drivers. But will it

  888. always have that control you in the car with your kids.

  889. Just lease, listen to the forest front. God is good.

  890. Now you chasing down a Toyota Corolla flipping them.

  891. Off and tell them this is America, buddy, Like, what

  892. are you doing? What are you doing with a honk?

  893. If you love Jesus on the back of your car?

  894. How did that happen so fast?

  895. It's because there was no pause between the trigger and

  896. the trap. Today, I'm asking you Church, before you post

  897. anything else, pause between.

  898. The trigger and the trap.

  899. Before you call a family meeting to give a dissertation

  900. on why you are changing your last name.

  901. Y'all to y'all crazy, You done crashed out.

  902. I no longer am going to be a Williams Like,

  903. what what is happened?

  904. You're a wucking you? What everybody say? Pause?

  905. Because there's an intersection that God wants you to acknowledge today.

  906. Drop down.

  907. If I was if I was in fifteen nineteen, I'd

  908. say drop it, love, Drop down and start to go

  909. to the place where you know there's something there I

  910. really probably don't want to touch. Every time you leave

  911. town it makes me feel insignificant.

  912. It's not you, it's me.

  913. Every time that you pick them, it makes me feel

  914. like you don't value my contribution that's attached to a

  915. trauma where people abused and used me and didn't give

  916. me credit. It's not you, it's me or hey, you

  917. keep using me, and I'm creating a boundary because I

  918. have a trauma of people pleasing.

  919. And I was only liked.

  920. When I did what people wanted me to do. So

  921. instead of me feeling empty because I'm around you, I

  922. drop down and recognized that my trauma is making me

  923. fall into the trap. And I can't give you no

  924. more money, won't.

  925. Be financially supporting you anymore. We were we about to

  926. lose the house man.

  927. I'll see some of y'all right there. That was a

  928. trigger because you asked somebody for help one time and

  929. they didn't help you. See, triggers are unique, but if

  930. you don't bring them to God, then you suffer from

  931. what all humanity is suffering from right now, a lack

  932. of self awareness. The enemy is the one who wants

  933. to keep you in the dark, and God wants you

  934. to live in the What if you are not self aware,

  935. you do not know why your.

  936. Triggers are always putting you in a trap.

  937. And today I'm just asking you the same question that

  938. God asked the first human on earth. It was a

  939. question of location, Adam, where are you? Adam was triggered.

  940. Adam just did some he wasn't supposed to do. God

  941. didn't lose Adam.

  942. There's only two people on earth at the time.

  943. That he created and put them in the garden.

  944. He didn't lose Adam. Why did he ask Adam, where

  945. are you?

  946. Not? Because God needed to know where Adam was. He

  947. wanted to know if Adam knew where Adam was. Today, Church,

  948. do you even acknowledge that you've been triggered?

  949. Do you even acknowledge that your.

  950. Relationship with money is because of something that happened in

  951. a trauma? Do you even acknowledge the reason why you

  952. won't give to people, or the reason why you won't

  953. help nobody, or the reason why you are gonna affiliate

  954. with this party or that party or that team or

  955. this team is because there's a trauma attached to watch

  956. this the truth. There's a truth in there that most

  957. of us don't want to face. And today I believe

  958. that God needs all of us to say, all right,

  959. you got me, I'm triggered. All this politic talk triggering,

  960. all this racist stuff, triggering, all these people asking me

  961. to lose weight.

  962. I'm triggered.

  963. I tried one time, and when I tried that time,

  964. I lost.

  965. Weight and then I gained it back. And when I.

  966. Gained it back, I felt so low that I said

  967. I'll never try again. And so now, any time anybody

  968. says something to you about getting healthy triggered, guys, today,

  969. you may be falling for the trap, even with people

  970. you love. I can't tell you how many times this

  971. week I done have to apologize to my wife. I

  972. didn't need to say it like that, I'm sorry. Oh

  973. you know, you catch yourself like I just don't breathe

  974. no more. And the thing that I had to start acknowledging,

  975. I started being transparent with her about where the trigger was.

  976. And when you're transparent about the trigger, empathy comes. There's

  977. been moments that having been like, I was mad because

  978. I really wanted this to happen, and I felt disappointed

  979. that it didn't happen. And when I feel disappointed, I

  980. automatically go to anger because I haven't developed my emotional

  981. catalog to figure out any other emotions. So as soon

  982. as I get disappointed, I don't say I'm hurt or

  983. I'm disappointed, because man don't say that you're the man

  984. at a house man up. That phrase man up has

  985. taken more men down because they won't be vulnerable and say,

  986. hey man, I don't feel like I got it right now.

  987. I'm supposed to be the provider of this household and

  988. I feel like aluhu their her. But that empathy, that

  989. that transparency of where my trigger is coming from would

  990. actually bring empathy when I get up here and tell

  991. y'all I've dealt with pornography and.

  992. All this other stuff.

  993. It's me being transparent about my triggers that bring people

  994. into transformation. Help everybody around you. Just start saying I'm triggered,

  995. and before I fall into the trap, put that cross back.

  996. Up there for me, real quick.

  997. I'm triggering, and before I fall into the trup, I'm

  998. gonna go down.

  999. I'm going to humble myself.

1000. And I'm gonna go down to the trauma and admit

1001. there's something there that I don't even fully have language for.

1002. There's something there that I don't know how to fix.

1003. And that's when you can hear this God is close

1004. to the crash outs the Bible tells us that he's

1005. close to those who are broken in spirit. He's close

1006. to those that feel like I don't know what I'm doing.

1007. He said, you dropped down and figured out the trauma.

1008. He says, that's the only road to true change or

1009. true transformation. When you see this, you should see the

  1010. picture of the Cross.

  1011. You should see that.

1012. God says, I'm not taking away triggers in this world.

  1013. You will have trouble.

1014. He literally tells us it could be remixed. In this world,

1015. people will trigger you. But take heart, because I've overcome

1016. the world. If I've overcome the world, you just have

1017. to learn how to manage.

  1018. Yourself in it.

1019. And if you don't learn how to manage yourself in it,

1020. then it will feel like the world will have you

1021. out of control. You be uncrashed out, acting out of character,

1022. not doing what God's called to do. And worship them

1023. all forfeiting your calling. There are more people forfeiting the

1024. reason God put them on this earth because they crashing

1025. out over a post, crashing out over a relationship, crashing

1026. out over they dishrespected me. You're willing to go to jail.

1027. You're gonna go to jail. And leave your three children

1028. without a parent because you don't let nobody disrespect you.

1029. My daddy taught me where is he at? Let's talk

1030. to him? Do you want that reason?

1031. But many times when we hit that trigger, if we don't,

1032. everybody say pause, the pause is for his presence. When

1033. I pause, it's like, all right, God help me, because

1034. I'm about to He's okay with that.

  1035. Lord.

1036. How many people have made drafts of text messages and

1037. emails they were about to send.

  1038. Come on?

1039. How many people have drafted, drafted, fool And God said,

1040. I'm okay with the drafts because sometimes you got to

1041. get it up and out of you. This is why

1042. some of y'all need to go to all y'all need

1043. to go to therapy. I was about to say some

1044. of y'all, all y'all excuse me. All of us at

1045. this church we believe in theology and therapy because there's

1046. some stuff we can pray away and there's some stuff

1047. you gotta talk about. Okay, I'm asking everybody in this

1048. world that's listening to this message, where are you? Because

1049. this whole sermon series is for people who've already crashed out,

1050. people who are in the middle of a crash out

1051. are people who are headed for one And.

1052. My question to you, is Christ in it with you? Today?

1053. For everybody under the sound of my voice as we

1054. in this service this week, as you're triggered, I want

1055. you to know that God sends Jesus to be in

1056. the crash out with you, but he will not act

1057. until you invite him. In the pastor like that is

1058. not true, My God will step in and do everything.

1059. That he promised. Okay, cool. But the Disciples were on

  1060. a boat in Mark.

1061. And a storm broke out around them, and the disciples

  1062. were crashing out.

1063. We gonna die, Peter Casewell, this is about to be bad.

1064. Like picture the scene and Jesus is on the boat sleeping,

1065. and I don't know if somebody got thrown over. I

1066. don't know what happened, but at some point somebody's like.

1067. Somebody should go get Jesus.

1068. And what I'm saying to you is you can have

1069. Christ and still crash out. He can be on your

1070. boat and you still crash out. It's not until you

1071. invite him. This is finding Christ in the crash out.

1072. When the disciples said, Jesus weep about to drown he said,

1073. y'all got such a little faith, peace be still, And

1074. it said the waves and the wind obeyed it. The

1075. crash out stopped at his word. But his word was

1076. dependent on their word. His word was only activated when

1077. they said, we need your help, and could you be

1078. listening to this message right now? And you want God

1079. to intervene? And he said, and I need your voice box.

  1080. Say something.

1081. Tell me you need me to come in standing all

  1082. over this building.

1083. If you know that's you.

1084. And you've been in a season of being triggered by something,

1085. y'all know what triggers me. People leaving that salvation It's crazy.

1086. It's like the most sensitive time of people being transformed.

1087. And you're like, ooh cause I need to get to

1088. crackle barrel with the whole logo.

1089. And what I'm saying is, over the years, the tension

1090. has gotten less and less. I said, when they kids

1091. get saved, they would be more sensitive to the atmosphere

1092. that people are giving over.

1093. When the loved one. So I just start believing.

1094. It went from something that made me mad to something

1095. that's like, Lord, would you please do something in somebody's

  1096. life around them?

1097. Do y'all hear what I'm not saying it won't it

  1098. won't be triggering.

1099. I'm saying it shouldn't have the same effect. If you

1100. know that's you and there's an area in your life

1101. that you have just started being triggered by, or it's

1102. been years of you being triggered, and you're saying, God,

  1103. I want to transform.

1104. Today is a day of acknowledgment.

1105. If that's you watching online in your home, at the gym,

  1106. at the office.

  1107. Or in this room.

1108. If that's you, would you just lift both of your

1109. hands real big, like, Okay, all right, we are and

1110. today I'm gonna pray for you because it's me.

1111. I gotta start this today, Father God, here we are. God.

1112. I'm not praying for them, I'm praying with them.

1113. We need your health. God.

1114. There are things that have happened to us, some that

1115. we can't even speak about.

1116. Others Father God, that we have tried to forget.

1117. One's Father God, that we want to act like didn't happen,

1118. and others Father that are so natural and common to

1119. us that we don't even consider them something that is

  1120. taking from us.

  1121. Today.

1122. We need you to illuminate through your word, Father God.

1123. That we can be ones that find rest.

1124. Come to me, all who are weary and heavy burden.

  1125. Father.

1126. Today we are saying we are too tight in the tension. Father, God,

1127. we are too stressed out by the true and the traps.

1128. Today we want you to transform us. Today we are

1129. doing what Proverbs three, five and six tells us to

1130. acknowledge you in all of our ways. We're acknowledging God,

  1131. it's us.

1132. We've been triggered and it said you will direct our path.

1133. So today, on this first week of triggered Christ, would

1134. you step into our crash outs? Yeah, come on, right there, Jesus,

1135. I need you to step in to the financial situation.

1136. I need you to step in to my family situation.

1137. Come on, I don't know what your situation is, but

1138. I need you to talk to him right now.

1139. God, I need you to step in.

1140. Father, to this relational divide that me and my family

1141. are having, or me and my husband are having. I

1142. need you to step into my emotional pain.

  1143. Father.

1144. My husband doesn't even know, my kids don't even know,

1145. my parents don't even know. I need you to step

1146. into this insecurity, to this frustration, to these lies that

1147. I've elevated as the truth. Today, God, I don't want

  1148. to crash out.

  1149. I want to transform.

1150. So here I am as we go into this seven

1151. days of prayer and fasting. I don't think it's an

  1152. accident that God prophetically.

  1153. Lined this up.

1154. That tomorrow at six point thirty, we're not just gonna

1155. pray this one time in church. Every day, we're going

1156. to set aside time watch. We're gonna pause what's the

1157. pause for his presence in the midst of all of it.

1158. Some of y'all don't just need the fast food. You

1159. need to turn off social media. Some of y'all so

1160. addicted to it, though, it's like I'm gonna miss something.

1161. What did what did you do? How much time did

1162. you have before you fell into the trap? God's gonna

1163. tell some of you turn it off. Some of you

1164. is gonna turn you don't watch the game, don't go.

  1165. Na, don't that.

1166. Your purpose is more important than that pig skin. And

1167. it's not because that's bad. It's because it makes you

1168. fall into the trap. You gambling with the money you

1169. should be paying for Excuse me, You're you're on a

1170. fantasy league and fan dueling. You're doing these things that

1171. are you done? Fell into the you got triggered. And

  1172. I'm not saying anything's bad.

1173. I'm saying that is it good for you?

1174. I feel the presence of God in here, and I

1175. believe this is a divine pause.

1176. This fast is not a glorified diet.

1177. If you gonna see gossip and do all the stuff

1178. that you're gonna crash out anyway, just eat.

  1179. You're happier, Just eat. We don't.

1180. But for those of you who watch this, my last

1181. point is the goal is to live consecrated, not to

1182. crash out. It's not just to acknowledge.

1183. Oh I'm about to crash out. I know my triggers

  1184. because some of us.

1185. Have gotten so good at admitting things. We never changed them.

1186. Did y'all hear what I just said.

1187. I just want to tell you my issues and we

1188. can list our issues, and we think the transparency is

1189. good enough so we don't have to transform. And I'm

1190. telling you right now, I want you to be transparent.

1191. But you can't stay there.

1192. God is calling me, calling us, calling the church, calling

1193. the kingdom to transform into an image that looks like him.

1194. And so this whole week, I'm invite you.

1195. To a point and access point that everything in your

1196. life could change you triggered. God helped me deal with

1197. this trauma and lead it to transformation. Tomorrow night. Meet

1198. me online Wednesday night. I want all y'all in this building.

1199. We only praying in this building together twice this week,

  1200. Wednesday and Saturday.

  1201. Get in here.

1202. Come, bring your family, bring your friends, bring people that

1203. don't go to this church. And I want to let

1204. you know my goal of praying online. The reason we're

1205. not meeting here is because and God is so good

1206. that he gave me this vision before I didn't know

1207. what we would be in he said. Michael, I want

1208. more than four or five hundred people praying. I want

1209. thousands of people praying. If you tell them they got

1210. to come here, you cut the number down. When I

1211. share the link on Facebook and Instagram and YouTube, I

1212. want you to send it to people, text it to

1213. They don't have to do anything but be listening in

1214. their homes while they're making dinner at the soccer stadium.

1215. I want us to get the church praying.

1216. Because if we forget the world.

1217. Changing, they can't change without Jesus. If we're expecting them

1218. to lead the charge, Democrat, Republican.

1219. Independent, nobody can do it.

1220. Accept the Church of Jesus Christ.

  1221. The problem is you.

1222. Just as triggered as them, and until we transform, there's

1223. no way we can talk to them about loving anybody

1224. when right now you got pastors on your feed that

1225. you can't stand. Were wearing the same jersey this next

1226. season Church, I'm being very passively. I know we gotta go.

1227. It's not about more, it's about maturity. These next sermon series.

1228. If you don't come back, you missing out. These seats

1229. can be empty. Whoever's here about to get this fire

1230. hydrant and you're gonna be able to walk away transformed.

1231. I'm not begging nobody to come to church. God bless you.

  1232. I hope that's feeding your soul. Whatever you're doing, I

1233. hope that's sleep. Oh it can't, because the only thing

1234. that gives you rest for your soul is Jesus.

  1235. We're walking into maturity.

1236. Tie. I even prayed for all of my youth while

1237. I was gone. God showed me y'all are about to

  1238. be a change agent.

  1239. In this city.

1240. No hear me, you're about You're about to lead the charge.

  1241. TDY.

1242. Don't don't talk to them like they're young, talk to

1243. them like they're called this there is gonna be I'm

1244. telling you, I'm talking to the youth, but everybody, bring

1245. your youth, get everybody here, come to prayer. I'm telling

1246. you God's about to do something in this church that

1247. is going to turn everything that the enemy has been.

1248. Pulling on into a weapon.

1249. That same rubber band planet at the enemy. That's the

1250. sling shot that David used to kill Goliath.

1251. Don't get me started. It was the same thing. It

1252. was just pointed at the right thing.

1253. The same thing pointed at the right thing, can actually

1254. cause victory to come to families, can actually.

1255. Cause change to come to communities.

1256. Can actually bring transformation to this world.

1257. Let somebody say it starts with me.

1258. If you're in this room, you've never accepted Jesus, this

1259. is how we're ending today. For all your triggers and

1260. your trauma. There's a name who is not threatened by

1261. any of it. As a matter of fact, the Bible

  1262. says it like this.

1263. That he was bruised and beaten for all of our iniquities.

1264. He was, He was stripped of all of his kingly.

1265. Prestige. He was. He was. He was battered so that

1266. we could walk in healing.
