Welcome to Transformation Church podcast, where we represent God to
-
the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so
-
glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe
-
God will transform your life. Do today's message a.
-
Man, and for the rest of this year, I'm gonna
-
be rocking with this notion that our faith has to
-
believe God for something differently than what we've seen already.
-
If you're not believing for something greater, you're believing for
-
something less than what God has for you. And so
-
for ten weeks, this team has talked to you about
-
your triggers for ten weeks beautifully, masterfully, I mean Charles
-
had the whole universe up here last week, I mean
-
full galaxy mode. What our intention was Listen to me.
-
What's to validate eight that those triggers actually have hindered you?
-
Because many times people can't move on if nobody acknowledges
-
what happened. And today, for ten weeks, since after conference,
-
we have said, your parents may have triggered you. That
-
job may have triggered you. They may have looked over you,
-
They may have used you in that last season, that
-
relationship did take something from you. We have been trying
-
to let you know we see you and this human
-
experience is real. But now we have to transition into
-
what are we gonna do about it? Because the truth
-
of the matter is most people want to identify their
-
triggers and then make their triggers their excuse. So the
-
reason I'm not gonna do what God said is because
-
this happened to me back here. That was four decades ago,
-
that was fourteen days ago, that was fourteen months ago,
-
and many of us we've turned our triggers into the
-
excuse for disobeying God. So today I'm asking us to
-
actually accept, as a matter of fact, for anything that
-
they couldn't say. I want to stand in proxy right now,
-
and they is whoever hurts you. They is whoever did
-
not have the emotional intelligence to say I'm sorry. They
-
is whoever you had to walk out to actually protect
-
yourself and set a boundary, but you still never got
-
to hear I was wrong. Today, I want to say
-
I'm sorry. I'm sorry that it happened to you. I'm
-
sorry that they didn't see you. I'm sorry that they
-
never acknowledged how that pain sets you back. Today, I
-
want to take a moment, and I want to give
-
empathy to what has been a stumbling block for you
-
to move in full, reckless, abandoned towards the thing God
-
has called you to. It's worth pausing, it's worth taking
-
a moment and saying it shouldn't happened. And for ten
-
weeks we've been trying to lovingly help you understand, and
-
we get it.
-
We all get triggered, we all crash out.
-
But at the end of the day, before you were
-
formed in your mother's womb, God least inside of your
-
DNA a purpose that came with an expiration date.
-
The number of days that you.
-
Were on this earth are numbered, and the enemy is
-
trying to steal your days. With the distraction of being triggered,
-
hear what I just said to you. He's trying to
-
make you not write the book. He's trying to make
-
you not reach the audience. He's trying to make you
-
not draw the thing. He's trying to make you not
-
produce what he placed inside.
-
Of you to produce.
-
Because the enemy's trick of this last season was not
-
to steal the thing. It was to steal the thing
-
behind the thing. You thought the enemy came after your relationship.
-
He was coming after your confidence, so the relationship didn't work.
-
For what he was really trying to steal is your
-
ability to try ever again. And that's why you become
-
a man basher. Ain't no man ever gonna be good
-
and ain't nobody ever gonna do this? And ain't nobody
-
that was Jerome's fault. He hurts you. Jerome hurts you,
-
and because you never forgave him, because it was the
-
second man that hurt you, because your father was never there.
-
Now you've summed up that everybody, and the reason the
-
enemy's trying to steal that is because you're actually called
-
the healed relationships.
-
And so he wasn't trying to steal the thing.
-
He was trying to steal the thing behind the thing.
-
I feel this thing right now. Some of y'all have
-
stopped giving encouragement because you are in a season that
-
somebody discouraged you and the enemy allows you to lose
-
that job and then that it was embarrassing in front
-
of everybody, and then they lied on you. And what
-
you said is now I will not be who I
-
am because the enemy wasn't after that job. You can
-
get another job. He was trying to steal the thing
-
behind the thing, your words of encouragement for others, because
-
when you walk in the room and you start spreading life,
-
people's life lights up.
-
When you come in.
-
You're an atmosphere changing and the thing that you are
-
called to do you are.
-
No longer doing.
-
You're withholding it because you don't have the faith to
-
believe that God can turn this bad situation into good.
-
And today I came to encourage you because I see
-
too many believers that are allowing their trigger to be
-
the point where they've gotten tranquilized.
-
I'm frozen at my trigger.
-
Oh no, when people talk loud, come on, it can
-
be little stuff. Oh uh uh.
-
I mean some people was triggered just a.
-
Second ago when weill talked about offering and because you
-
were in a church where they did abuse the building
-
fun and you gave to the building fund and ain't
-
no building. Come on, y'all, Come on, y'all, We ain't
-
never seen a building air conditioner broken, children don't.
-
Got clean carpet.
-
That was fifteen years ago in the church that your
-
mom was a part of, and you saw them abuse
-
her volunteer service, and so you made a decision that
-
instead of being an agent of change, that you would
-
actually be somebody to actually harbor resentment and never give.
-
You started withholding what was the thing that is your wealth.
-
Wealth is not just monetary. It is a thing that
-
you uniquely have value in. And there are many people
-
right now with holding their wealth to the world because
-
you were triggered by something that has not healed. And
-
God is calling you out of your excuse today and
-
he's telling you you got to trade this trigger for
-
something else. You gotta trade this trigger. It's gonna happen.
-
There is no perfect world. And God saying, when are
-
you gonna use what I put in you?
-
Well, I'm a past you know, pastor.
-
I'm over fifty, and it just feels like I got
-
my retirements in three months, three months I get to retire.
-
Actually it's two.
-
Months, sixteen days, and thirty two hours, and I just
-
feel like for the rest of my life, I'm just
-
I'm gonna let the young people just I'm I'm gonna
-
let the young people.
-
Rise to the God's not done with you yet.
-
He wasn't done with Sarah, he wasn't done with Moses,
-
he wasn't done with Noah, he wasn't done. But by
-
Bible standards, you're a teenager A ohs sixty. I mean
-
they was probably that kid that ninety What is get
-
on my lab, holl My question to you is what
-
are you withholding? We're coming to the end of twenty
-
twenty five? What did you withhold that you had to
-
give all year?
-
What did you.
-
Because of fear? What did you willingly take out of
-
the equation because of a past situation? Today, I'm going
-
to ask you in the last month of this year
-
to stop withholding and sw what you got that's I
-
might sew what I got, I don't care how much
-
it is, And I'm not talking about money. Sow what
-
you got? What do you have that nobody else has
-
at this current moment that you could sell some of
-
y'all got more time than you've ever had in your life,
-
and you literally waste it on Netflix series. You waste it,
-
filling your mind, scrolling, you waste it. And you have
-
years of teaching ability that you won't give away. You
-
have years of just being a helping hand, somebody that
-
could administrate, somebody that could help somebody up. Do you
-
know somebody's praying for what you got. Do you know
-
that there is somebody crying out to God? And when
-
people cry out to God, he starts talking to solutions.
-
Okay, you don't believe me.
-
When the children of Israel were trapped in Egypt, they
-
were crying out for deliver He was talking to Moses Hey,
-
Moses hey.
-
And some of y'all been ignoring the.
-
Cries of God's people because you are not listening. When
-
God tells you to stop withholding what you have, you're
-
waiting to do it in until you give more money.
-
And God says, this whole thing is about stewardship. I
-
give to people who will sew what.
-
I give them.
-
You ain't getting no more until you sow what you got.
-
That was somebody's whole message right there. You don't believe
-
no more because you're hoarding what God said was holy.
-
I need you to give this away to somebody, Okay,
-
ECCLESIASIDS eleven four. I just want you to hear me
-
because some of you, your trigger has paralyzed you, it's
-
tranquilized you. But today, by faith, I believe you're about
-
to get out of that place of stillness and you're
-
about to be active somebody say active. Your faith is
-
about to get active because it may not have been
-
your fault what happened to you, but it is now
-
your responsibility.
-
God's not giving.
-
You a pass this next year on what He put
-
on the inside of you. Withholding nothing, say that faith,
-
with holding say it one more time, with holding what
-
God has placed in you, I'm not holding it.
-
The goal, Miles Monroe said, is to die empty.
-
The wealthiest place in the entire world is the graveyard,
-
because everybody's dying with what He placed on the inside
-
of him, still on the inside of him. But by faith.
-
I believe there is some faith being activated right now
-
that you are not going to leave this assignment called
-
earth without leaving I feel the presence of God without
-
leaving the deposit that God placed on the inside of you.
-
This is not career specific. You may be provided for
-
in the medical field, but what He wants to do
-
is give you to a whole group of people.
-
Of how to be kind to people.
-
See, we have attached our purpose to a paycheck. Oh God, okay,
-
you have attached the that I make money at to
-
the thing that God wants me to do.
-
Let me help you.
-
They're not always aligned. He may be providing you for
-
somewhere that you can eat and then calling you to
-
do something where somebody else.
-
Can eat from you.
-
Okay, y'all not ready for real teaching. Okay, so let's go.
-
It's time for this, this group of believers to get unstuck. Ecclesiastis,
-
chapter eleven, verse four. This is where we're gonna start.
-
Farmers who wait for the perfect weather never planned. I mean,
-
I want to keep reading, but we could just stop
-
right there. What are you waiting on to sew what
-
you got? Why don't have enough followers on Instagram? For
-
I wouldn't put out my I will study. It's so robust,
-
it's so foundationally vast that I need to build my counts,
-
my followers, as well as my YouTube to a certain level.
-
Are you waiting for a perfect time?
-
Well if I have some more money, Well if there
-
was a few people that recognize my gifting and talents.
-
Farmers who wait for a perfect.
-
Weather pattern.
-
Never plan.
-
If they watch every cloud, they never harvest. Just as
-
you cannot understand the path of the wind or the
-
mystery Jesus, the mystery of a tiny baby growing in
-
its mother's womb so.
-
You cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.
-
So let me.
-
Give you an antidote. Plant your seed in the morning,
-
and keep busy working it all afternoon, for you do
-
not know if profit will come from one activity or another,
-
or my favorite part or maybe both.
-
Not both with the f both.
-
Like because your neighbors say both. Yeah. I found out
-
in this last season of me being triggered and having
-
to work through it with faith partners in therapy, that
-
the enemy was not after me being on a platform
-
and speaking to people. When I went through people talking
-
about me and people leaving and having to understand criticism
-
and building my skin. He was trying to steal my
-
general He was trying to make me hate the people
-
I'm supposed to help. It was the thing behind the
-
thing he wanted me to withhold my life, which is
-
the evidence of me representing it's me serving God and
-
loving my wife and giving to people. And when I
-
could do it for myself, like no, let's bless other church, he.
-
Wanted to be like, bump all of them, forget them,
-
Forget all these church people, Forget all these other pastors
-
who wouldn't stand up for me, Forget all.
-
He was after the thing behind the thing. He was like,
-
I'll let you preach, but I want you to be bitter.
-
I'll let you get up and worship, but I want
-
you to actually have hate in your heart.
-
This is too for, y'all.
-
This is I'm trying to help you from real life.
-
The enemy is after the thing you're called to do,
-
not the.
-
Thing you're necessarily doing.
-
I am called to this earth to make other people's
-
worlds bigger. I'm called to this earth to make people dream,
-
to save people out of burning buildings, to try to
-
let you see there's more in you than there. And
-
he wanted me to give up on the very people
-
I was called to help. I'm trying to give you
-
the keys to not quitting. The enemy's weak, and he's
-
trying to steal your ability to sow. He doesn't have
-
to steal it if you.
-
Won't use it.
-
Oh God, the enemy comes to steel, killing, destroy, You.
-
Won't use your singing gift anymore. So Ariel still have
-
your voice.
-
I get a dang that works because I couldn't even
-
sing it, y'all.
-
Remember in The Little Mermaid?
-
Was she her voice got taken? No?
-
It didn't. She gave it away.
-
Ursula just invited her. I will preach a Disney movie,
-
don't play with me. Ursula invited her to give away
-
what she didn't see value in because it was natural
-
to her, because it was innate to her, because she
-
had been doing it all of her life.
-
And she literally gave away.
-
What was her power. How many of us are sitting
-
here and me don't got to steal nothing from us.
-
We already gave it away.
-
Don't do people stop saying that you're called to them.
-
You may have to exercise new gift things. You may
-
have to breathe after you get in the room with
-
a lot of people. You may have to regulate. Come on,
-
let's but that don't mean you ain't called the people. God,
-
Can I help you? The place where the enemy attached
-
you most is the place that you probably have the
-
most power. You don't ever guard somebody in basketball on
-
the thing they weak at. You always come after the
-
thing they're good at. You're trying to take away what
-
could actually be their superpower. I'm preaching up here, and
-
some of.
-
Y'all have been giving away.
-
You've been given away.
-
The very thing that God said.
-
I put that in I put that in you so
-
that you could give me.
-
Glory with it.
-
But you won't sew it, you won't plan it, you
-
won't give it to nobody. You won't even give it
-
to your own children. Your kids don't know faith because
-
of you. They know faith because of His church. Okay,
-
they're literally your kids. I'm telling you right now, look
-
at me, straighten my face.
-
Your kids are literally in a tug of war.
-
Who are they gonna believe the God that I hear
-
about or the God I see my parents living out?
-
Because you can come in here and then you can
-
get in the car and cuss them out. And when
-
you cuss them out in the car, but say, but
-
when we get to church, I'll better act like I
-
ain't nothing happening.
-
They're learning disintegration from you.
-
Okay, I just crossed the line. It's tight, but it's right.
-
Some of you have not sown kindness into your kids.
-
I was a lot of use fair the rod use
-
for the child, But it was by his loving kindness
-
that he drew us in all. I'm trying to challenge you,
-
what are you withholding that God said, that's what I
-
want you to sew. Sew it and see what I do.
-
Sw what you God. You may not have much, but
-
sow what you've got. Men of God, come show up
-
and serve for these kids. All these single mothers in
-
here trying to raise their kids where they dead beat
-
dads out somewhere trying to still find some young girl.
-
Excuse me, you're not taking care of your responsibility, so
-
you put it off on us.
-
But there's some men of.
-
God that will step in and say, you know what,
-
I'm strong enough to get my word. On Monday, I'll
-
watch the rebroadcasts. They need to see what a godly
-
man looks like, serving with his hands and showing love
-
to these young ladies and young men and working side
-
by side with people that look a different race and
-
ethnicity than you. Only got one Sunday every two month.
-
So what you got at that job? What could you sew? Well,
-
they don't deserve nothing mails from me because they don't
-
even pay me for the time that I'm there.
-
Right now, you think.
-
The job do you think the salary is why you're there?
-
Some of y'all have been in purgatory at the jobs
-
that y'all are at right now because you have not completed.
-
The assignment he sent you there for Sally, but you're
-
so annoyed by her and annoyed.
-
By her emails and flabbergasted by the audacity for her
-
to even ask it. And God sends you there to
-
be specifically a siege so own in her life daily.
-
Yeah, he would do it for one person he leave
-
the ninety nine. Did he send you there?
-
Did He send you to this church to do something
-
you not doing because nobody recognized your ministry ten year
-
from your last church in Mississippi. No, we don't know,
-
and you came in here acting crazy. No, we're still
-
background checking you. Let me just be honest. It's a
-
bunch of people that thousands of people you could be.
-
And you were the bishop of Arches in your last church,
-
and I don't take that away from you. But we
-
got protocol here and so we were trying to maybe
-
but you won't even start a small group.
-
That's too low for you to get in a tribe.
-
Well, I was teaching them my last church, and God's
-
playbook was to sit around a table.
-
With disciples.
-
And but you're withholding because it's not on the platform
-
you want.
-
Okay, let me stop.
-
And so you're waiting for perfect weather to sew what
-
God's already given. You look at your neighbor and say,
-
so what you got? No, look at your other neighbors
-
because they didn't have faith with you. Look at your
-
other neighbor and say, neighbor, sow what you got. It
-
may not be a lot, but so what you got? Yeah,
-
I'm gonna make that a song this week later.
-
It may not be a lie, but so what you,
-
God say?
-
It may not be here.
-
Let's go so no you fred I quit, I quit,
-
I quit, I quit, I quit, I quit. That's quol.
-
This search will hie you up too fast. God, Okay,
-
it may not be a lot. We got thirty days
-
left in this year. Will you be guilty of making
-
it another three hundred and sixty five days? And you
-
did not give what you had because there's somebody in
-
here is like papasa Mike. You don't know my financial situation.
-
I do not know, but you do have thirteen pair
-
of Jordan's.
-
You have so many Aldo boots and nine West heels, and.
-
You kept the kids sizes of the kids that they
-
grew out of believing for the next kid that ain't
-
here yet. And I'm not saying nothing's bad, but none
-
of that. But there's a mother.
-
Right now.
-
Literally praying that God would provide shoes for her children,
-
and they're literally sitting in a storage you're paying for
-
while you're in debt, saying I gotta get some of
-
this stuff gone.
-
You could literally be solving.
-
Your problem and they problem if you sow what you
-
but you triggered. So I ain't talking to nobody no more.
-
Soon as church is over, I'm leaving before they What
-
is it also called time you moon walking out of
-
this place before the benediction because somebody hurts you in
-
the last season and you don't want anybody to close
-
enough to see you that you need healing and they
-
need help. And there's so many of us that because
-
we were triggered. You were triggered, you were mad, you
-
got hurt, you crashed out.
-
But now God saying, what are we gonna do about it? Now?
-
I need to use my faith to do something different.
-
So that's why I need to say this. Your triggers
-
being acknowledged does not excuse your faith activation. We acknowledge
-
your triggers, but you still have to use your faith.
-
You were hurt, but you still gotta believe God. You
-
weren't seen, but you still have to believe God for
-
the next season. So James two seventeen says, So you see,
-
faith by itself isn't enough unless it produces good deeds.
-
It is dead and useless. Easy way to say this,
-
Faith without works is dead. And I just want you
-
to realize that God desires for all of us to
-
have an active faith. Part of the reason that we
-
pick a time every year that we ask God, Hey,
-
what do you want us to give in faith towards
-
your house? Is because that is an exercise of our faith.
-
What are we building my faith?
-
No, show me something physically that we're building. Well, when
-
people give anytime there is a disaster, anytime there's a
-
person in need, anytime that we're able.
-
To actually meet real needs with all.
-
Of those things, how we gave that young lady Ramsey
-
plus along with thousands of other people. We paid for
-
it because we paid for it. It's an exercise of
-
our faith. But there are many people right now that
-
will never go past yourself in giving anything. And this
-
year I'm inviting you to come off the shore and
-
show what you got. Guys, I'm like you don't understand.
-
You understand, I do understand. I was telling her the
-
team last earlier today is that I was trying to
-
remember how generosity and giving God in me, and it
-
got in me because I was triggered by poverty.
-
Am I being too real? Now? I know some of
-
y'all won't admit.
-
Where it is, but you grew up in some very
-
even if it wasn't ghetto situations, it was ghetto mindset situations. Okay,
-
I'm gonna help five people.
-
Okay. So there are certain stuff that you would see
-
that's like.
-
That's dope, but probably a little backwards, Like it's dope
-
to have a Mercedes, but not if it's a nineteen
-
seventy nine Mercedes that were still in paying for, Like
-
it's a two thousand and seven Mercedes and it breaks
-
down every week. But we got a Mercedes, but we
-
paying payments that are putting us in Like it was
-
like the right things, the things that.
-
Look good, but backwards. And I decided, Lord, I don't
-
want to I don't. I don't want to live like that.
-
I don't want to live not being able to lend
-
when I see somebody in need, I don't. I don't
-
want to live when your word is saying you own
-
a cattle on a thousand heels, which was the currency
-
back then, And I'm sending over here and I can't
-
eat at McDonald's. I don't want to live like that.
-
He said, so something. I was seventeen years old. I
-
told you I was this. I sold my first thousand
-
dollars seed at seventeen years old.
-
I had no idea what I was doing. Back then.
-
I was playing drums for some pretty notable people. When
-
I was making a little money, and all my money
-
was based I still live with my mom and daddy.
-
I only had to pay for gas, and I was
-
buying shoes. I mean, I had nothing else. And I
-
started saving money because money gave me security, me feel
-
like if something happens, I'll be able to handle my business.
-
Thousand dollars can't really handle anything. But at the time,
-
I was balling, and the Holy Spirit came after what
-
I had, not after what I didn't have, because I
-
heard God will never ask you for what you don't have,
-
He's so good, but he will ask you for what
-
you do have. And I remember, and the crazy thing
-
about it, y'all listen to me. This is not about amounts.
-
This is about obedience. The thing that broke the power
-
of me being stagnant in my faith was a seed
-
that I literally gave into a church that had nothing
-
to do with me, and God said, your obedience right
-
there just produced the heart posture that I can trust
-
for the rest.
-
Of your life, because.
-
If I give it to you, you'll give it. And
-
the Bible says he'll give seed to the He does.
-
Not give the sower seed. He gives seed to the You.
-
Missed it because a lot of people are like, I'm
-
going to become a sower. Once I have seed, you
-
have to already make up a decision in your mind
-
and your heart that you are sower, and then God
-
will automatically provide. And now you're sitting here looking at
-
the clouds, When is the right time to plant it now?
-
Because the farmer y'all missed it. Look at it. I
-
don't want you to miss this.
-
Farmers who wait for the perfect weather never plant. Why
-
are you not seeing a harvest cause you never planted.
-
Why are you not seeing those relationships grow because you.
-
Didn't plant friendliness?
-
Why are you not seeing God give you more influence
-
in these areas because you have not planted time in
-
spaces without expecting anything back. God's saying to all of us,
-
give what you got analogy, just real quick, because it
-
keeps coming up in my head, and I'm.
-
Gonna just say it. I like fashion. Y'all know that
-
by now.
-
I don't know where I got this jacket from, but
-
I like it, and my wife said I look good
-
in it.
-
So I am admitting I'm hot up here.
-
Let me just cause some of y'all be thinking it,
-
and y'all be like, like, dang, he must be hot.
-
Yes, as a.
-
Matter of fact, whatever fleece or wolf that says has
-
added thirteen degrees. I mean, I'm soaking wet under here.
-
But in Tulsa you cannot. If you like fashion, you
-
can't dress based on the weather because one day it'll
-
be eighty five degrees and the next day.
-
It'll be two degrees.
-
And so I don't wait for the weather to get
-
my fits off. I wake up in the morning, I'm
-
be like, I'm wearing a fool fur this day. And
-
see some of y'all like that don't make no sense.
-
But if I wait on the weather, I ain't never
-
gonna get the fit off. Do you understand what I'm saying.
-
I'm just trying to come to where some people are.
-
If you wait for the perfect situation to sow, you're
-
never gonna get the fit off.
-
You're never gonna.
-
Get They can't tell how hot you are in pictures.
-
When you wipe the sweat.
-
Today on the Instagram, I'm gonna look like I was cool.
-
Do you hear what I'm saying? Because I got the
-
fit off, but I couldn't. I'm making light of the
-
I'm just trying to let you know, is you're waiting
-
for the right time to go to counseling with your wife.
-
At the brink of divorce. It's not the time.
-
Okay, you should give the Christmas gift of successions because
-
a new burking bag is not gonna help y'all. Saving
-
them and putting him in your closet is just giving
-
you more wedges of why you can't stand each other.
-
Sow the seed.
-
Today, because it's what I got, all right, We got
-
to get out of here.
-
Give me an.
-
Example of somebody in the word, because somebody who sold
-
a seed even when the situation was unfavorable. I thought
-
of many different people But if I could run you
-
through Genesis real quick, the latter part of it, and
-
we could look at Joseph's life. Y'all remember Joseph, the
-
one who had a coat of many colors. Joseph had
-
every excuse after he got triggered to withhold what he had.
-
But if he would have withheld what God placed on
-
the inside of him, he would have never ended up
-
where God intended for him in the end, in his
-
intention for him. The promise he gave him when he
-
had the dream is that you're going to be in
-
a position of power. Your brothers are going to bow
-
to you. You are going to be raised to a
-
high level. And he did what most of us did.
-
Oh God, I got a prophetic word from God, and
-
he got excited, put his Gucci coat on and went
-
to his brother's like one day, y'all gonna bow to me. Stupid.
-
He didn't read the room.
-
He did not read the room. His emotional intelligence was underdeveloped.
-
And so what his brothers did. Who didn't get a
-
Gucci jacket of multi colored from his dad?
-
They threw him into.
-
A pit. Now, I don't know if your brother I
-
got four actual brothers, big brothers, that could actually overpower
-
me altogether and throw me into a pit. And if
-
they ever decided to throw me into a pit and
-
then sell me into slavery. The level of vengeance, can
-
we just be human for a second, The level of vendetta,
-
the amount of push ups. Yo, No, I would a
-
straight prison workout. I'm at the end because at some
-
point my mind would have switched from blessing it my brother.
-
My dream said, I'm a bless him.
-
I got something blessing with.
-
Think about Joseph, though, Joseph literally gets thrown into a
-
pit and then gets sold into a slavery into a
-
different country. And look what this man does in Genesis
-
thirty seven when he is triggered by betrayal, Joseph has
-
a dream his brothers hate him, sold him in the savory,
-
and he could have withheld watched his trust for people.
-
If my brother sold me out, I'll never trust anybody again.
-
Come on, some of us have.
-
Parent traumas and sibling traumas and coach traumas that literally
-
are trying to exclude us from people.
-
Period. When God's word.
-
Says it's not good for men to be alone, he's
-
behind the thing after the thing. But what it Joseph do?
-
He continued to trust people.
-
How do we know?
-
Because in Genesis thirty nine he goes and he gets
-
sold into slavery, but he ends up at this high
-
officials house called Potiphar, and Potiphar sees his skill.
-
And I don't know about you, but when.
-
I show up in places and I was done wrong,
-
I don't be really excited to give them help. Specially
-
if you call me a slave. That is a sure
-
way from Michael Todd not to help you.
-
Come here slave?
-
Whoa Joseph is an endentured serve it in a different country,
-
but still has the gift of leadership. And in the
-
face of watch this his trigger was injustice. How many
-
people get so mad when they see injustice, like when
-
somebody gets done wrong or gets manipulated or gets taken
-
like it makes your blood boiled. This man did nothing
-
but share his dream with people he loved, and he
-
ended up as a slave.
-
In somebody's house.
-
If anybody had an excuse to withhold something, I ain't
-
coming in here to help y'all do nothing make me
-
like me? You start getting cry by. But Joseph gives
-
his leadership away and prospers potfer.
-
He literally does not let.
-
What God placed on the inside of him die in
-
an environment that is not conducive for his greatness. He
-
still sold what he had at the job he didn't like.
-
He still sold what he had at the church that
-
didn't recognize all of his potential. He still sold what
-
he had to help people who are never gonna fully
-
repay him. How do you know that? Because Potterphar's wife
-
took a look at Joseph as well, say he's good
-
at leading all these people, maybe he can lead me somewhere.
-
And Potterphar's old, stanky, grubby handwife tried to manipulate Joseph.
-
He's in the best position he's ever been in since
-
being thrown in slavery because he did not withhold what
-
he had, He gave what he got. He's in a
-
good position. And now Potiphar's wife tries to come put
-
them cheeks on it. Oh you know, that's what she did.
-
And what ended up happening is that watch this.
-
He was triggered by a lie.
-
She literally made up an entire lie, ripped his coat.
-
He tried to take me look good of fuh look
-
like he said ma pie, get him, make him pie,
-
toddy pie.
-
Don't let nobody tell y'all want to.
-
Like that she she made up a whole lie about
-
my man.
-
How many people in this room have ever been lied
-
on before? Like they just made it up? Why did you.
-
Make that up?
-
If I was gonna do it, I wouldn't have done it,
-
Like Dad, you'll be getting that mad at the lies
-
that they told. At least give me a better line. No,
-
But when he could have withheld this trust, he still
-
sold it. When he could have withheld his leadership, he.
-
Still sold it.
-
When he was triggered by the environment he was put
-
in because after Potiphar believed the lie of his wife,
-
he was thrown into jail.
-
He was triggered by the environment.
-
What happens when you did the right thing, told the truth,
-
and you still end up in a prison. It was
-
a pit, it was Potiphar's house, then it was.
-
Prison and in prison.
-
I mean, even if he's the greatest believer and he
-
made it through all them other tests, I mean I
-
would be at this point okay with him withholding what
-
he has in prison. But now Joseph, he had a
-
prophetic edge. He could see things he could interpret dreams.
-
So while he's in jail, God puts two other men
-
there who are confused, and Joseph has the clarity for
-
their situation, and literally in the midst of their confusion,
-
Joseph could have been like, and what did he do?
-
He said, I see clearly what's happening. You're about to
-
be killed and you're about to be That's what I said.
-
You gotta read the Bible. You're gonna be killed, and
-
you're gonna get grace. And hey, I got one request.
-
Would you please not forget about me? When God does
-
and performs his word in an environment that was not
-
set up for his success, he still soled what he
-
had and then verse forty one, he literally gets forgotten.
-
Let's let's be let's let's be clear. Let's stop and
-
talk about him being in jail for more years because
-
the dude who got out based on his prophetic word
-
and his accuracy forgot about him. Have you ever had
-
anybody break a promise to you? Mean, nothing kills your
-
outstretched hand like a broken promise? Are you not showing
-
up for me? And I show up for you?
-
Cool? Got you?
-
But even in that where there were years where he
-
was never even acknowledged. He didn't stop seeing what he
-
had to the point where the pharaoh had a dream
-
and then oh, yeah, there's a guy in prison who
-
could interpret my dream. They came and found him, and
-
at that point he's in this king's jail.
-
At you for building to jail, I'm mad at the
-
guards for being working.
-
At the jail.
-
I'm mad at the people who get the.
-
Food after like I could have built up bitterness. But
-
he's literally standing in front of the king and he
-
still gives.
-
And because.
-
The enemy was not after Joseph's life, he was after
-
the power of his surrender. He was trying to steal
-
his generosity because the promise that God showed him in
-
the dream about his brother's bowing to him, it was
-
coming to pass through unfavorable circumstances. And if he would
-
have let the trigger keep him from sewing, he would
-
have never gotten to the place that God said in
-
the beginning, some of you are cutting out your journey
-
to the thing that God's promised you the whole time
-
because you're withholding what you have now, waiting.
-
For a better time or better w whether to sew it.
-
And God says give it to those kids, give it
-
to your husband, give it to those coworkers, give.
-
It to your church.
-
Give what you got.
-
Because it's the key to hill.
-
Next, he literally tells the king, and the king promotes
-
him to second in command over the entire country because
-
he did not withhold what was in him. Few chapters later,
-
guess what happens. A famine hits the entire land verse
-
forty five, Verse forty two. His brothers come back into
-
the scene. Now, what should Joseph's response be when he
-
finds out that the brothers who put him in the
-
pit in the first place, if it wasn't for them,
-
none of this would have happened to him.
-
They come back in need.
-
Can God trust you to be able to sow into
-
the people who hurt you severely? Could God trust you
-
to have a heart that would be refined like his,
-
to be able to even say, Okay, y'all did this
-
to me. But what the enemy meant for evil, this
-
is what he said, God turned it for good. I
-
know what your intentions were, but God was using you.
-
All things are working together for the good.
-
Somebody say it's got to be good, Say it with faith,
-
It's got to be good. When he was triggered by
-
his past and his brothers came for food, he could
-
have withdrew his grace and everybody would have been like
-
his cool bro killed them. Dudes, y'all know friends who
-
will help you do the ratchet and wrong thing. Yeah,
-
if it was me, it ain't you. And that's why
-
God's calling some of us as believers to a higher level.
-
You gotta forgive them.
-
Why because you're not trying to be more like them,
-
You're trying to be more like me. You gotta let
-
them go of the dead. You gotta forgive them, and
-
they didn't apologize. You gotta try again. You were meant
-
to be loved. But you gotta let that other person
-
who abused you.
-
You gotta let them go.
-
You gotta stop following their Instagram and Facebook. You gotta
-
stop pain shopping and managing misery. I need you to
-
let that go. Because he was triggered by his past.
-
As soon as he saw his brothers watch this, he
-
knew who they were, but they didn't know who he was,
-
So he could have manipulated the situation and killed them
-
and they didn't even.
-
Know it was him. But he didn't withhold his grace.
-
He's still sold it. He still gave what he had.
-
Now there are times where I feel like, dang, I
-
don't got nothing else to give, and God's like, well,
-
put a little something in there you might not have
-
accounted for.
-
I'm not asking you for what you don't have. Give
-
what you got.
-
And I've come up here many times and the team
-
will tell you in the back they've prayed for.
-
Me, and I'm like, God, just I don't know if
-
I have I mean.
-
Whoo, and it'll be like there'll be just one little
-
spark or something. And God was like, that's all I needed,
-
just that, just that encouragement, just that smile, just that faith,
-
just that little worship. That's all I that's all. I'm
-
not asking you for what I didn't put in you,
-
but could you give what you got? Genesis forty five,
-
Joseph is triggered by truth because everything comes out, and
-
he could have withheld his forgiveness.
-
But if he would have withheld his forgiveness.
-
He would have canceled out the promise that God showed
-
him when he first got the jacket. His brother's bowing
-
to him, thank you, his dad getting to see him
-
before he passed. Family reconciliation happened because one person kept
-
sowing the seed. None of his brothers deserved it, but
-
one person kept sowing the seed.
-
Who will be the one person to keep sowing?
-
Today, Church, as we step into this season of crazy faith,
-
I'm asking you to withhold nothing and actually anchor all
-
of the things that are triggers in your life to faith.
-
So when I get triggered.
-
No noe, no, no no no, I'm training my triggers
-
to actually move me into.
-
Action by faith.
-
Like I'm not just gonna be mad. That means if
-
I get mad and when a customer out, I need
-
to say something nice to somebody. You missed it.
-
You need to train your triggers to do the opposite
-
by faith.
-
You feel like you don't have money, you need to
-
figure out somebody you can bless. I didn't say with
-
money because you ain't got that.
-
But what do you have? See?
-
Until you do something to counteract what is coming to
-
put you back in a cycle. The seed interrupts cycles. Lord,
-
I'm gonna need four weeks. A seed interrupts. Ask any woman,
-
it's too deep for y'all. The Only thing that interrupts biologically,
-
a woman's cycle.
-
Is a seed.
-
And you've been in a cycle of depression, So a seed.
-
You've been in a site of going back to those
-
old habits.
-
Sow a seed.
-
You've been in a cycle of doing what is not
-
good for your purpose.
-
So a seed.
-
Why don't got a big seat? He said, it could
-
be the size of a mustard seed? So what you got?
-
The reason?
-
I come to Crazy Faith Offering and ask God? What
-
am I supposed to give? Not just financially, What am
-
I supposed to give in time? What am I supposed
-
to give in in resources? What am I supposed to
-
give in influence?
-
There are people that I literally.
-
Ask God, am I supposed to connect them with this person?
-
I'm the bridge between them and what they think they need.
-
And sometimes it's not sowing money, it's sowing influence. I
-
can set somebody up better than they can set thyself up.
-
Hey, this is my man, Jeff. Jeff. Meet Tom. Tom.
-
If you ever work with Jeff, let me tell you.
-
What's gonna happen to your business. Your business is gonna grow,
-
You're gonna be happy here, and you're gonna get more
-
sleep at night. Jeff, I know you can't say this
-
about yourself, Jeff, but I know firsthand Tom. You need
-
to hire him and you need to pay him more
-
than you're paying the other guy. Because this dude I
-
have and I step out of that. And what did
-
I just sew? I sold my influence? How much would
-
that cost you? Pride?
-
Because I might not be in the equation no more.
-
When Jeff and Tom go up to blow up, they
-
might not remember that I was the one who made
-
the connection. And now I'm on Instagram like, forget them.
-
I'm the one they wouldn't know.
-
They wouldn't know each other. Matter of fact, we.
-
Took a picture together.
-
I'm gonna post this picture right now. Connector locked in.
-
Church today, I'm asking everybody to sew what you got
-
over the next three weeks. God's going to require something
-
of all of us. If you're watching online or you're
-
in this room. This is not an accident. This is
-
a call to activate your faith. I have more to
-
talk to you about, but we're going to go into
-
it next next week. Because the way you're not going
-
to crash out this Christmas is you're going to interrupt
-
the cycle. There's already a cycle. You can feel the
-
anxiety coming. You felt it a black Friday, just driving
-
on Memorial Like, y'all know what I'm saying.
-
Like you can feel.
-
The anxiety of the stock market and the government, and
-
you can feel the anxiety of your family members and
-
the pressure of deadlines, and your creative juice is actually
-
not flowing the way it wants to be. Like you
-
can feel it, and God says, what you do, so
-
eat and interrupt this cycle. Would you have faith to
-
believe that I give seed to the sword? Would you
-
have faith to believe that when you step out in faith,
-
it actually gives your future a future. See, a lot
-
of people are waiting for the future just in time.
-
But your future should have an expectation with it. A
-
farmer sows, and he sits back every morning with his
-
coffee with expectation because it's not that he sees something.
-
He know he sold something. There is no farmer that's
-
like that. I don't know when the harvest is coming.
-
He's like, it may not, it didn't come to death,
-
but it's coming because I know I sold something. What's
-
the last thing you saw? It'll change the way you
-
wake up, It'll change the way that you love it'll
-
change the way. I am going to sew no matter
-
what the weather is, and I'm encouraging you. Weather may
-
have been hard this year, the weather may have distracted you. You
-
might have got married this year. You like, I ain't
-
worry about nobody. He's my fun, my moon, my everything. Okay, cool,
-
don't forget.
-
That.
-
In every season, I gotta sew, cause who knows which
-
one is gonna prosper this that or maybe both? Standing
-
all over this place over the next before anybody leaves,
-
listen to me, over the next three weeks, I'm gonna
-
tell you what's gonna happen. Okay, everybody look at me, please,
-
watching online, just focus in for one second. God's going
-
to require all of us to take inventory of what
-
we have, and he's going to start asking us to
-
sew seeds with it. Some of you, I don't even
-
have to tell you right now. You got a whole
-
club full of stuff that you know that's gotta go.
-
It's got to go, and let me help you. Giving
-
is not easy, some people think when you make up
-
the decision to mind, when you make up your mind
-
to give, then it just gets easy. The enemy does
-
not want you to be like Jesus. He wants you
-
to give up before Well, it was.
-
In my heart. God knows my heart.
-
I tried to give it and this couch ain't gonna
-
get to them. And when I'm asking you to do,
-
is so what you got for some of us. It
-
will be a monetary seed. And I'm asking everybody to
-
begin to pray.
-
Husbands and wives begin.
-
To pray, single people begin to pray. We will not
-
stop at the excuse anymore in this season of crazy
-
faith and of people. I love inviting people into this
-
because it changed my life, specifically that I'm not sowing
-
to see an outcome in a thing yet, I'm sewing
-
to see an outcome in my heart first.
-
And today there are people in this room who have.
-
Never taken that step of faith to say, you know what, God,
-
I'm gonna trust you with my finances. The Bible talks
-
about that more than it talks about prayer, because he
-
knew it would be a stronghold for us.
-
Thank God.
-
This year, I want to sew and I'm not just
-
gonna sew money. I'm gonna sow whatever you tell me.
-
Hear what I just said, I'm gonna sew whatever you.
-
Because some of you. Money's not the issue.
-
You get the money. You get the money all the day.
-
The issue is showing up for somebody. I'll give you money,
-
but I'm not gonna listen.
-
Time, energy, effort, intention.
-
God's requiring all of us to be more like him
-
and not stop at the point of your trigger. Do
-
you remember what Jesus did on the on the road
-
to the cross, y'all? Remember what that's called when he
-
was getting spit on and he was carrying his cross
-
the the It's a it's a Latin word.
-
How do you say it? Via Della Rosa. He literally.
-
Displayed for us what it looked like to keep stepping
-
by faith while being triggered every step, people lying on him,
-
shouting accusations, spitting on him, and the whole aim was
-
to steal the thing behind the thing.
-
It was to keep from.
-
Actually sacrificing his life, giving what he had for all
-
the people that were literally embarrassing him. And he said,
-
if I could do it, I did it so you
-
could be.
-
My reflection here on earth.
-
By faith. I need you in a triggering environment situation, government,
-
I need you to still give what I placed on.
-
The inside of you.
-
You still have a song to sing, You still have
-
a book to write, You still have a curriculum to develop,
-
You still have a building to design. You still have
-
a family to save, you still have a child to adopt.
-
Somebody's waiting on you to stop.
-
Withholding what God placed on the inside of you. Today,
-
I'm gonna pray that we would withhold nothing. Would you
-
lift your hands like this, withholding nothing, withholding nothing, I
-
withhold nothing, withholding nothing.
-
Just sing that by faith, withhold.
-
And nothing, withhold and nothing, Jesus, withhold nothing.
-
Give whatever you tell me to God, withhold nothing. I surrender,
-
say I, sir, to you.
-
Jesus everything, Yeah, I give to withhold and nothing thing, Jesus.
-
This is our prayer by faith God.
-
With hold nothing, I surrender Lord, with hold.
-
Just one more time. Say I surrender, y'all, Say.
-
I sir, Hey, everything you placed in me, I'll give
-
it back to you God.
-
Everything I give to you, Jeez, withholding nothing.
-
I'm making a decision today God.
-
Whatever I have is yours God. I will be the answer.
-
I will be your hands and feet. If you're under
-
the sound of my voice and you know there is
-
something that God has gifted you with giving you stewardship,
-
responsibility over or literally just placed in your hand that
-
you have not been giving as freely as you.
-
Know you should.
-
Would you just lift your hands in this place. I
-
want to pray for you because God's changing hearts right now.
-
Just lift them high like yep if you're online right
-
now today, Father, I pray for my brother and sister
-
who somewhere in their journey got triggered to pull their
-
hands back. Today by faith, I am asking Father that
-
you would unlock their heart and you would give them
-
the faith to believe in you as their anchor.
-
You are the defender.
-
You are the God that fights for us. You are
-
the Godfather that turns bad situations good. As we even
-
look at Joseph's life, Father, your word was true about him.
-
And today, Father, for those who are bothered, hurting, broken,
-
frustrated and have been trying to protect themselves. Father God,
-
would you please wrap your arms around them right now
-
in the name of Jesus and let them know that
-
you are a father worth trusting.
-
Your word is worth trusting.
-
Father God, heal their heart and give them the audacity
-
and the faith to believe again. Let their life change
-
as they make a decision to withhold nothing, and I
-
thank you that there will be evidence in their life
-
who I feel the presence of God. I thank you
-
that in this next ninety days there will be evidence.
-
Father God.
-
As they give freely, you will pour out freely. I'm
-
gonna say it again. As they give freely, you will
-
pour out. We won't withhold wisdom. We wont withhold Father
-
our instruction. We will not withhold Father God.
-
Our kindness, our encouragement.
-
We will not withhold Father God, even the things we've
-
called secrets to success or another love we'll give. Father.
-
We are sowing these seeds by faith, in faith, knowing
-
that anybody who plans your word says that they will
-
reap a harvest.
-
God, Our trust is in you, So we withhold nothing,
-
withhold nothing.
-
Come on, say it with faith. I'm with hood.
-
Jesus. It's twelve thirty.
-
Oh we have to leave, But I believe God is
-
doing some hard work in here. If you were in
-
this room and you do not have a personal close
-
relationship with Jesus Christ, not you were raised around him,
-
and your big mama know about him, and your cousin
-
is a pastor, I don't want none of those things.
-
I'm talking about you and him.
-
You either need to give your life to Christ or
-
you need to rededicate your life. Whether you're watching this
-
in prison, whether you're in this room, or whether you
-
are watching this on a rebroadcast, today is your day
-
of salvation.
-
I need the church to begin to pray.
-
I need you to begin to pray right now, because
-
this is what this.
-
Church exists for.
-
We're gonna lead you to Jesus by faith, and I'm
-
telling you today is your day of transformation. I don't
-
care how much money you've made. I don't care how
-
many awards you've received. I don't care how broken you've been.
-
Today I want to introduce you to the man who
-
transformed my life. He took me from being a liar,
-
a manipulator, addicted to pornography, and didn't make me a
-
perfect man, but a progressing man, a man that could.
-
Literally come with all my flaws.
-
And God says, don't change your heart, yet, give me
-
your heart, because if you give me your heart, I'll
-
help you change your habits. Today I'm standing out of
-
evidence of God's goodness, and today I want you and
-
your family and your life to change.
-
Because of Jesus. If you're in this.
-
Room, you're gonna need his power to transform your life. Today.
-
He's calling you by his love. This is not me
-
telling you you're a bad person. Your God's child. He's
-
given everything, he withheld nothing, just.
-
To have relationship with you. He gave his.
-
Last breath as a ransom for each one of us
-
so that you could be reconciled to the Father. All
-
you have to do, according to Romans ten night, is
-
believe that he did it and receive his grace today
-
and today, I'm telling you it's your day of salvation.
-
On a count of three, I just want you to
-
lift your hand if you want to accept Jesus. I
-
want you to be bold and loud. We're gonna celebrate
-
in here with you because we know this is the
-
thing that has transformed our life. And Heaven rejoices over
-
one person that gives their life to Christ, whether they're
-
in this room or watching online or in a prison cell.
-
Right now, today, Heaven is about to turn up. One.
-
You're making the greatest decision of your life. Two, your
-
name is gonna be written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
-
Three shoot your hand up in the air.
-
If you want to receive Jesus, I see you, my brother.
-
If you want to give God your whole life, I
-
see you.
-
My brother.
-
Oh, Transformation Church, you gotta celebrate online.
-
Brother, I see you, God sees you. Today is a new.
-
Day if for only two people.
-
Saw worthy.
-
It transformation in Christ.
-
Today, as a church we pray together for the benefit.
-
Of those who are coming to Christ.
-
Would everybody just say God, thank you for sending Jesus
-
just for me today.
-
I repent on my sins. Can I turn to you.
-
I believe you lived, died, and rose again with all power.
-
To defeat anything I would deal with on this earth.
-
I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Changed me,
-
You knew me, transform me. I'm yours forever in Jesus' name. Jesus. Amen,
-
come on church or celebrate.
-
No, that should be the biggest shout of the day. Hallejjah.
-
Listen to me, Listen to me. If you made that decision,
-
I need you to text saved to eight two eight
-
two eight two, and we want to help you and
-
walk with you on this journey.
