Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to
-
the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so
-
glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe
-
God will transform your life.
-
Do today's message thank God for the faith that's in
-
the room.
-
I have an assignment.
-
Today and I'm gonna get right into it because I
-
need all the time. I want to let you guys
-
know that this is a season of great faith for
-
our church. And you've heard it over and over. You've
-
heard beautiful testimonies. You've heard Pastor Charles and Pastor Bris
-
and even the testimony of the Young Lady this week
-
and last week talk about how this crazy faith time
-
of sowing is an opportunity for us to.
-
Exercise our faith. I just need to let everybody know
-
something real quick. Who's in here or watching online.
-
This is not a ploy for the church to get money.
-
I need to say it because right now a lot
-
of people you're thinking, we fine, We're gonna be fine.
-
God provides for this. I gotta say this.
-
This is an opportunity for your house to transform. I'm
-
telling you because this has changed my life. I would
-
not be up here talking to anybody about giving to
-
God's house unless this was biblical, unless it was patterned
-
in the Word, And there's tons of places I could
-
go to. Most people would do a giving series at
-
this time. But I always fight that because I want
-
it to be a byproduct of our obedience. I don't
-
want to convince you to do what God.
-
Has already told us to do.
-
And a lot of times in this moment, if we
-
were trying to do something to build something, people would
-
try to be doing stuff. All I'm giving us next
-
week is an opportunity. Somebody say, an opportunity. I'm giving
-
you an opportunity to exercise the one thing that God
-
says it's impossible to please him without.
-
It's your faith. And a lot of times.
-
Some of y'all think y'all strong until you need to
-
move to bed. Come on, let's be honest. You'd be like, oh, yeah,
-
I can get that. In the same thing happens with
-
our faith. Many times, a lot of us feel like
-
we got strong faith until God says, hey give this,
-
shed that, let that go.
-
And every year as a church, we make it an opportunity.
-
And I'm thinking about, you know, we.
-
Represent I'm thinking about changing crazy faith offer to another
-
time of year. I'm thinking about making it in April
-
or June or July, because I need everybody to know
-
this is not about anything except will you obey me.
-
When I tell you too?
-
Because the truth of the matter, Pastor Charles, is I
-
be getting asked to give stuff away all year long.
-
I want to say, the life of a believer and
-
obedience is not just a one time of year's thing.
-
The life of an obedience is God, what are you
-
requiring of me?
-
Somebody say today?
-
What we do at Transformation churches, we make one time
-
a year for everybody. And this is the great thing
-
about it. And I'm so proud as a pastor. The
-
majority of the people in this room that call Transformation
-
Church their home, they do this every month as they
-
set aside tithe and say, God, you don't got to
-
give me one time a year. I'm gonna I'm gonna
-
trust you every single time. I get increased, as the
-
Bible says, And that's what I applaud, because one time
-
in the gym is it's not as good as fifty times.
-
You go one time and lift one hundred pounds and
-
come out and you videotape it and have a full
-
thing and everybody clapping, you get a thousand likes. That
-
ain't gonna make you no strong. You just be sore
-
for the week. Everybody got what I'm saying. But if
-
you go every day and all you lifting is ten pounds,
-
the compounding of ten pounds over time is gonna produce
-
a much stronger for this example, faith than lifting one
-
hundred times once. What I'm inviting everybody into is a
-
step of your crazy faith. And I know there's real
-
situations going on. I know that people have been furloughed.
-
I know that some people's investments have gone down, while
-
other people have made the most money they've ever made
-
in a year. The difference with believers is that the
-
circumstance is not supposed to dictate our obedience, and this
-
is where trust and faith comes. I've been doing the
-
same thing with my finances for over fifteen years, and
-
in some of those years I did not make barely
-
any money. And let me give you a secret, it's
-
harder to obey God when you have more money. Nobody
-
tells you this, but giving ten dollars is way easier
-
than giving ten thousand, Not because the amount doesn't feel
-
the same. It's because you start to think of all
-
the things you could do with it. Well, Lord, I
-
could get out of.
-
Debt more, and Lord, I could bless this person, and Lord,
-
I could go on vacation. And you told me, and
-
God said, I give seed to the sower. I'll give
-
you more. But would you saw more?
-
And the truth is many of us I can't say
-
it for ourselves, but many of us wouldn't because we haven't.
-
Let me say it again, many of us wouldn't because
-
we haven't. I'm challenging transformation church. I don't care if
-
you're on government assistance.
-
Ask God, what are you supposed to do?
-
Because if you don't have money, you don't have to
-
give money.
-
But this is my challenge.
-
Give something, even if you can't give it to the church,
-
give it to somebody in need, because your faith can
-
be stretched in this season and change everything in your life.
-
And today I'm not asking you for amounts. We're not
-
doing thousand dollars lines. All the rich people stand over here,
-
all the poor people stand over here.
-
Partner up with two broke people so you could get
-
we're not doing that. That's dumb.
-
Guys, and I know it's just stuff that's happened to church.
-
If you're new to the church, courture, do worry about us.
-
We're just trying to correct something. We're not doing that
-
because the end of the day, when you look at
-
the Bible, there was a woman that had two mites.
-
In a form.
-
She didn't have a lot, but she's a standing in
-
the temple. Said, everybody stopped and notice what this woman's
-
doing right here. And they're like, no, they're in the
-
back making it rain. Look at oh, big big boy
-
over there and making Jesus said, they're giving out of
-
their abundance. But that woman right there, she's giving a
-
sacrificial gift.
-
Bus some mike, how do you know it's a sacrifice?
-
You say, ouch, I'm trying to be real practical with you.
-
It's not a sacrifice you feel like that was, if
-
you don't say ooh. And today, for anybody that think
-
there's manipulation or anything in this the Bible tells us
-
what to do with that. Do not give if you
-
feel like there's manipulation or compulsion. I'm trying to be
-
as real as you can. Also as a pastor and
-
a leader, cannot stop inviting you into what the Word
-
is inviting us all into.
-
If you want to move.
-
To your next level of faith, this is an opportunity
-
for you to join us as a church to move
-
into it together.
-
Give me that real quick.
-
I was planning to do this at the end of
-
the sermon, but I felt God telling me to do
-
it right now. This is a black box that I've
-
had in my closet for three hundred.
-
And sixty five days.
-
Because I am trying to be a good father. I'm
-
trying to teach my kids the value very early of
-
honoring God. So I have a beautiful daughter who, like
-
her father, liked money at a young age.
-
And my daughter. You can guess which one it is.
-
But my daughter.
-
Really likes the ability to have her own money. She
-
don't need her own money. She doesn't buy anything with
-
the money she gets, but she likes having it. And
-
instead of killing that in her, I'm trying to develop
-
stewardship in her at a very young age.
-
And so I told her.
-
I showed her the scripture last year that said, hey,
-
we have to honor God with our wealth. And she
-
had a season in her life last year where she
-
was bawling. She started selling some things. People started buying
-
them from her. I was getting all these cash shaps.
-
She wrote down my cash shap and put it on
-
a piece of paper, took it to the lobby, and
-
was using nepotism to feel her pockets.
-
I just want to call it what it is.
-
And she did it for about three months, and she
-
came to me and she was like, Dad.
-
Look at this.
-
She was counting money on my bed and say, I
-
have this much money and all this other stuff. Listen,
-
she's under the age. She's still in single digits in age.
-
And I said, so, what's the first thing we're going
-
to do. Oh? Yeah, we gotta honor God with our money.
-
I said, what do you mean you understand why?
-
Right?
-
Yeah, Because if we honor God with our money, then
-
he gonna give us some more money.
-
I said. I said, you're on the right track.
-
And I took her to the story of the people
-
who stewarded over what God gave him and how the
-
ones that he stewarded over it, well, he gave him
-
more to manage. And so right there, I was like, Hey,
-
we're gonna give what do you want to give? When
-
do you want to give and I told her about
-
the tide, but I wasn't gonna pressure her.
-
I just wanted to teach her.
-
She came back about forty five minutes later and threw
-
some money on the bed and I said, baby, what
-
are you doing? She said, If I don't give it
-
to you now, I won't give it to you.
-
And I said, this ain't for me. I said, this
-
is for you, because you're obeying God.
-
She said, okay. I said, when do you want to
-
give it? Because I wasn't gonna tell it, go give
-
it this up. I just when the Bible says without compulsion,
-
without without.
-
Pressure, Daddy could have easily. I said, when do you
-
want to give it?
-
She said, I want to give it that crazy faith offer.
-
Now I'm thinking, like, dang, that's a year away.
-
But I wanted to honor that, and so I took
-
what she gave and I put it in one of
-
my glasses box. And this morning, as I was coming
-
to church and picking up my watch, the Holy Spirit
-
took my eyes to this box. And inside this box
-
is the money we put there three hundred and sixty
-
five days ago. She does not even remember this, I
-
promise you right now, she has no clue. But this
-
was the moment this morning where the Holy Spirit said,
-
if you, a regular earthly father, can remember the sacrifice
-
that your daughter put us, that's honoring your word and
-
my word.
-
How much more.
-
Do you think that I see every dollar, dime, every sacrifice.
-
You think that I'm doing this to create something? And
-
what she doesn't know is I'm still her provider. She's
-
doing this like she gave something up, But she ain't
-
missed one meal, she has not pitched in to family vacations,
-
She's been on plane rides several times.
-
Her money watch. This is no good here.
-
What I was looking for is if she would obey.
-
No.
-
This is a small example, but I would just challenge
-
all of us to do two things. Pray, God, what
-
do you want me to do? What do you want
-
my family to do? What do you what are you
-
calling from me? My business? My startup?
-
Father? We're in a position. What do you want? And
-
then obey, I'm a college student. Obey, I just got
-
out of this divorce. Obey.
-
And I've seen time and time again when people have
-
stepped out on crazy faith to do what God says
-
to do, of how he does the impossible the unexpected.
-
Watch this, not even in the same way we gave it.
-
I need to help.
-
Everybody because somebody think they're gonna put ten and get
-
one hundred back, and I need you to know that's gambling.
-
Should go to O Sage for that, and they gonna
-
take all your money. You may give ten here and
-
get forgiveness over here.
-
Something money can't. You may sow something.
-
Practical here and get something supernatural over here. You've been
-
wanting the break. I tell people this all the time.
-
Something that broke the back of pornography off of my
-
life was me actually obeying when God told me to
-
be generous because I would not obey to give anything,
-
so I couldn't obey to turn that stuff off.
-
My obedience was broken, not just in that area, in
-
every area.
-
And He said, you can train your obedience by when
-
I say turn it to give this, you can give it.
-
So when I say to turn it off, you know
-
that same lever. And I'm not saying that's the same
-
thing for everybody. But what I am saying is God
-
is faithful to do what he said he's gonna do.
-
So today, before I get into the sermon, I want
-
to pray for everybody that desires to give it. Don't
-
even matter if you got it or wont to at
-
this moment, But if you desire to, I'm gonna pray
-
that God gives seed to the person who has decided
-
to sew. And if you not, and you're saying by
-
this time next year, I'm gonna have something to do,
-
I'm praying that God would stirt that work in you
-
right now. Your pastors in it for the long haul.
-
I'm not in this for some superficial right now.
-
We got it.
-
Know, if it got to be two more years for
-
God to really take this thing and it be real,
-
we're gonna walk with you.
-
That's what that does. That is not good for the
-
bottom line.
-
If it's your revelation, nobody will ever steal it from you, though,
-
And whether you go to this church or somebody else church,
-
I want you to understand the principles of God. And
-
so today, if you desire to give, I just want
-
you to receive this prayer. Whether you're in this room
-
or watching online, are thousands of people in Transformation Nation.
-
I'm believing that we're gonna take this step into twenty
-
twenty six by faith.
-
So Father, I thank you.
-
I thank you that you talk about generosity and your
-
word more than almost any other topic, because you know
-
where our treasure is.
-
Our heart follows.
-
Father, forgive me for putting my heart in other places.
-
And I thank you today that you would make me
-
over again. Here I am at the altar asking you
-
to do a work in my heart that it would
-
be prepared to obey whatever you say.
-
Father.
-
Right now, as real situations are looming in the face
-
of so many today, I thank you that you are
-
increasing our faith to believe.
-
Just like Moses.
-
Standing at that seat with the whole Pharaoh's army behind
-
him and a group of people following him. God, what
-
am I gonna do here? You made a way out
-
of no way. As he did what he could with
-
his faith. He lifted up that staff.
-
That was his act of faith.
-
He sold faith by lifting up that staff, Father God,
-
and you did a miracle. I am praying that same
-
anointing on your people right now, Father God, for every
-
husband and wife that has to come in agreement, for
-
every college student, every high school student, every person that's
-
in their first job.
-
Father, whatever is going on, whether they are.
-
A sea over fortune, five hundred company watching this Father God,
-
and feel like, ah, that's not good for my taxes. God,
-
I thank you that you are moving them supernaturally into faith,
-
to believe and obey. Father, this church will be known
-
for its crazy faith, and we won't back up off
-
of what you have given us, not for a second,
-
not if culture changes, not if anybody leaves. Father, God,
-
your word is true and we're standing in promises right now.
-
So today we have faith, but help our unbelief. I
-
thank you that this week, Father, no matter what comes,
-
you will speak clearly, and as your children, we will obey.
-
And I thank you that faith will be ignited all
-
over this world. We will see you do miracles, signs
-
and wonders. Put see in the hands of those who
-
have decided to sew, and we will give you glory.
-
We will give you honor, and we will give you
-
praise in Jesus name.
-
Somebody say we agree, Say it with faith, say we agreed.
-
We expect amen.
-
If you go sewing crazy faith, let's give God some
-
praise in this place.
-
Holly Lujah. Hey, listen, what I.
-
Want you to do is connect your faith practically with
-
your faith written down. Writing on this doesn't mean that
-
you get in this because you gave that. I'm trying
-
to activate two faith muscles at the same time.
-
Does everybody understand what I'm saying?
-
So the two arms of faith is faith with that
-
works is say it again, faith without works is so
-
our sewing is a practical faith act.
-
But Rebecca Touto says, it ain't even real if you
-
don't write it down.
-
So some of us are believing for things that are
-
up here. It's not real yet. Write the vision and
-
make it plain. And I can't tell you how many
-
babies I've held that used to be on this card,
-
y'all don't hear me. I can't tell you how many
-
relationships have been restored that used to be on this card.
-
I can't tell you how many people got jobs in
-
places that they called it because they had the faith,
-
the crazy faith to write it down.
-
Many of you are the product of that.
-
So I want you to go ahead and do that,
-
and if you real wild, you'll post it online because
-
you never know, you'll put it up somewhere because you
-
never know.
-
There are people that God.
-
Speaks to to not just need a prayer answered.
-
Doctor Clark. They don't understand. There are some.
-
People that they've graduated to the place where their whole
-
mission and minute street is to see what the need
-
is and to help people get their need met. And
-
I'm just telling you there are things that have happened
-
outside of the church, people saying God, I need a job,
-
and and somebody sees the crazy Faith card.
-
And God answers prayers. So I'm asking us to activate.
-
Somebody say activate. I want you to activate your faith.
-
And this is about to be the best week ever
-
for anybody traveling in for this. We can't wait to
-
worship with you next week. This is gonna be a fun, fun.
-
Fun time. We're believing for you.
-
And I have a word that I'm gonna go right
-
into the heels of me just saying this, because the
-
truth of the matter is all of this means nothing
-
if you're not full of faith. So get your notes
-
out and I'm gonna try to help you. As we're
-
about to end this Triggered series next week, I may
-
take it to Christmas, because y'all, y'all, y'all been crashing out,
-
So I might take it to Christmas. But I felt
-
very compelled this week to take the power out of.
-
The trigger.
-
Because we've been talking about triggers.
-
For three months, and.
-
I think we've given the trigger too much power, because
-
there is no way that if you were in the
-
human experience that you will not be triggered by something.
-
How many people were hot, humble, open, and transparent. How
-
many people were triggered by something this week hands I
-
need hands, triggered by something at your job, oh my god,
-
triggered by something one of your kids did, or a
-
family member did. Lord two hands, and somebody just went
-
down pastraight okay? How many people were triggered by something
-
they weren't expecting to be triggered by, like you saw
-
something or a post, or somebody says them, why is
-
that bothering me so bad?
-
Okay, you do? But would you do? Somebody said, let
-
it go? Who're gonna be honest? How many people.
-
Said the curse word? Thank you for being honestly, say
-
it with me? Past the hours the one Seneca. How
-
many people Withdrew You know what I'm saying, You got
-
triggers like I'm going inside, I'm done with all of y'all. Okay.
-
How many people went to prayer real churchy answer, I see,
-
I love that bad Jack Catski Okay, how many people
-
went to food? Oh, come on, y'all know, y'all already know.
-
He was like, we stop, like he is out.
-
He already know.
-
Like some of us get triggered and you know it.
-
I can't control that. I'm gonna go get some ice cream.
-
Come on, don't point at your daddy. She was like,
-
love the truth.
-
Baby, When you get triggered, what do you do?
-
The reason somebody said, take a nap. You've been sleeping
-
all week, so come on.
-
The thing that I've realized about triggers is triggers are neutral.
-
Triggers don't do anything but give access to whatever's on
-
the inside. If there is nothing on the other side
-
of the trigger, nothing comes out. But if something squeezes you, whatever's.
-
On the inside. So I need us to for second,
-
flip this.
-
Series because the trigger actually only exposes what's there already.
-
If there's a bullet in there, if it's an arrow
-
in there, if it's something already in there.
-
That's why you tell kids no, no, no, no, no no no,
-
don't pull the because.
-
Whatever's in there, Ah, stay away from that, because if
-
you touch that, that's why we put a safety on
-
the gun. That's why we put a safety on it
-
because if you touch it.
-
There is no way we can get.
-
Back what it fires because it was already watched this loaded.
-
And what I'm trying to tell you right now is
-
if you're already loaded with anger, and you're already loaded
-
with resentment, and you're already loaded with bitterness, and you're
-
already loaded with perversion, it doesn't matter if they come
-
with pure intent, just wanting to take you on a date, Okay,
-
if you loaded with perversion. When that, when you get
-
triggered and you smell that, as y'all know some of y'all,
-
just a smell will trigger you. Saved, safetified and filled
-
with the Holy Dost for thirty two years. And that curve,
-
y'all know, the cologne curve, y'all, y'all, y'all, it takes
-
you out. I don't know what it is for you.
-
But but if there's no perversion in there, if there's
-
no if there's no crack in there, when it gets triggered,
-
I think so many times we're trying to live watch
-
this an untriggerable life, and that's not possible in this world,
-
you will have trouble.
-
That's what Jesus said, in this world, you will be triggered.
-
In this world, you will have family members, co workers,
-
people you don't know that are going to push something
-
that is going to activate whatever is.
-
On the inside.
-
And my question to you is what is getting exposed
-
every time you get squeezed?
-
Okay, oh God, I'm gonna have.
-
To make this real clear for y'all because some of
-
y'all don't get it.
-
This is the.
-
Life of believers before they come to earth. When they
-
come to earth, all they are is people who are
-
gonna get filled with something. And right now, if I
-
hit the trigger, nothing comes out. If I hit the trigger,
-
nothing comes out. But this is not how you stay
-
because as soon as you were born, you were born
-
into a family, and as soon as you go to school,
-
depending on what side of the tracks you was born on,
-
there's culture, there is community. There is crazy that comes
-
with all of that, and what ends up happening is
-
the life of the believer. We try to not let
-
nobody touch the trigger, but.
-
Somebody's gonna pull this.
-
Yeah, today, tomorrow or the next day.
-
And don't be in church because people in church that's
-
my seat.
-
I've been here for sixteen nobody cares I should be
-
singing that song. I should be.
-
It's just some of y'all just went home for Thanksgiving.
-
You ain't married yet, Greennie, you've had six husbands.
-
Don't want to be like you, Jennison. Now she triggered.
-
Now you trigger. Now they trigger? Wow wow wow wow wow. Shots.
-
Y'all hear what I'm saying. Wooo barn wam wam. You
-
coming in. You're ready.
-
But the truth of the matter is the power's not
-
in the trigger. The powers in what you're full of.
-
So most of us get into this life and we
-
become full of fierce. Oh Lord, the fear trying to
-
bubble up on me. And we put on Instagram in
-
the morning or Facebook, and we put in something that,
-
you know, it doesn't feel that bad, it doesn't look
-
that bad. It kind of looks like water, kind of
-
looks like something pure. And we load up on fear,
-
and at the moment.
-
We go and we load up on some foolishness too,
-
not just fear.
-
There'd be some foolishness in there, seeing some stuff we're
-
not supposed to see, staying longer on websites, getting angry
-
because other people was angry, yeah. And at the moment
-
we come to the workplace, y'all backing up?
-
Oh, y'all don't.
-
Y'all don't know.
-
Why? Why don't you want to be close to me? Now?
-
Because because the truth of the matter is.
-
As long as I don't stay triggered, as long as
-
nobody presses my buttons, were good. But as soon as
-
somebody starts triggering me, Yeah, it didn't come out. How Oh,
-
it's a sauce spring, it's a mister which feels less invasive.
-
It's not that bad. It's just a little gossip. It's
-
constant though, it's consistent. Though. Don't move, guys. Matter of fact,
-
I gotta get closer to the y'all.
-
Now, why why do you want me to stay over here?
-
The truth of the matter is, I'm gonna get triggered.
-
But the only reason you're frustrated or you don't want
-
me close is not because I got triggered or somebody
-
squeezed me. It's because of what I'm full of. The
-
reason your kids don't want to bring their friends to
-
your house.
-
Is because they know what you're full. That's why they
-
want to go away.
-
Can I go play at such and such alt why
-
you don't want to bring them over here. Uh, some
-
of us don't recognize that God has been trying to
-
change out our content. Yeah, He's trying to make us
-
full of something different. And the problem is we're so
-
used to fear being readily available. Everywhere we go, I
-
can catch somebody who doesn't believe God's gonna do what
-
he said place that I am. And this is the
-
thing that people don't understand is whatever you squeeze, whatever
-
you squeeze, what's on the.
-
Inside, it's coming out as a believer. What's in you today?
-
I just I'm just coming.
-
To gently challenge that maybe what's been happening in your
-
life and in your sphere of influence is because you're
-
full of the wrong thing. What do y'all think is
-
gonna come out of here? If I squeeze this? What
-
orange juice? Why would you think that? Because it's an
-
orange and it wouldn't make sense if apple juice.
-
Came out of an orange. Right, Okay, let's see what y'all.
-
Let's see if y'all smart, h h, come hold this
-
for me.
-
You just hold that right there.
-
I'm gonna squeeze it because life is I'm not even
-
gonna try to open it or do no getting no ninja.
-
Uh uh, I'm gonna just squeeze it. Uh h Okay, dang,
-
hold on, that is kind of strong. Dang mo, dang,
-
I'm sorry for that, am dang. It's close your eyes.
-
I think y'all are right. When I squeeze it, no
-
matter where where the pressure came from.
-
It's still orange juice.
-
I'm just I'm going slow because I want you to
-
see the anger and the bitterness that you've been trying
-
to pray away can't go away until it's replaced.
-
That that that jealousy.
-
Is not going anywhere because because you've put it, you've
-
put it in. See, the difference about from an orange
-
to you is that you're a vessel and you get
-
to choose what goes in. The difference between this orange
-
and you is when God created this, the orange had no.
-
Choice because it was an orange. God feeled it for
-
the juice. So when you squeeze it every time.
-
Well you're okay, close your eyes baby, Okay, But guess what.
-
The God the word calls you a vessel. And I know.
-
That it's so easy to walk around and blame everybody
-
else for every thing that's going on. But today you
-
get a chance to fill up with the right thing
-
or the wrong thing. You can either fill up with
-
faith or you can fill up with fear. Hear what
-
I just said, whether the two options faith or I'm
-
gonna leave this one empty because it should be our
-
faith bottle. But most believers don't read the word no no,
-
no no no, because the Bible tells us that the
-
trigger is a thing that reveals what's on the inside.
-
So as soon as I hit this one, something's coming out.
-
As soon as I hit this one, nothing's coming out
-
until it's filled with the right thing. So let's go
-
to the word Romans ten seventeen, because today I want
-
you to be full of faith.
-
Somebody say I will be full of faith. I'm about to.
-
Help somebody right now because I'm tired of helpless hope
-
and I'm tired of powerless Christianity like you just gotta
-
endure stuff. And God's literally telling you you can change
-
what you are full of right now. You can put
-
something else in and get a different result, but you
-
have to be the one to recognize it. Fear is
-
not gonna get you to where you need to be
-
in this next season. Agreeing with people who don't see
-
what God says over your life is not gonna get
-
you to the place that you need to be. It
-
is time for you to be full of faith and
-
not full of.
-
Fear Romans ten seventeen.
-
So, so faith comes from and hearing the word of God.
-
Why do you come to church? Why do you read
-
your Bible? Why do you listen to past on Mike
-
on podcast?
-
It's because you're trying to get your faith up. Why
-
are you always listening to that preacher? Because you don't
-
help my faith?
-
Come on, be honest.
-
People will try to literally come against you. I mean,
-
he just a man, and that's just a woman. And
-
y'all you always listen to them worship songs. Hey, it's
-
helping my faith, and so I don't go off the
-
next time that I come in contact with some of
-
your craziness, and so that when situations squeeze me, what.
-
Comes out is good.
-
I have to get faith, and the Bible tells me
-
faith comes by hearing and hearing the words of God.
-
Church. You cannot fill.
-
Up too much on the Word, contrary to cultures belief.
-
You can't become too churchy. By reading the what God says,
-
he will reveal and change and maneuver and.
-
Correct and construct.
-
The reason why you need a pastor so bad is
-
because you could get the transformation at your house if
-
you let God do the work and you could just
-
be a man and me like, Yep, that happened to me.
-
Yep, I seen that.
-
But there's too much I'll say it how I feel it.
-
There's too much revelation happening in church. Hear what I'm saying.
-
You should have already got the revelation. This should just
-
be confirmation. This should not be the first time that
-
God's trying to deal with you about this self. This
-
should not be the first time that God said you
-
kind of got an attitude. If you spend time with
-
Him looking at the Word as a mirror, it's the
-
only two edgines sword that is able to cut through
-
bone and marrow. It can cut through the culture you
-
were raised in, and can cut through everything that you
-
picked up along the way. It's the only thing that
-
will reflect to you who God is and who we're not,
-
and why we need him and how we become more
-
like him. But if this is the first time you
-
see a mirror.
-
People be in church like, oh that's so good, Oh
-
wo yes. And the only reason is because you didn't
-
read at all what.
-
He said you could have at your house now. The
-
Bible also says, don't forsake the sembling, the assembling together,
-
but all your revelations should not come from.
-
Past the mic.
-
And I know the church is crazy with manipulation because they.
-
The man of God. I should just be.
-
The man of God who confirms what God already told you,
-
Oh God. And if you're in darkness, I should be
-
the man of God that leads you to the light,
-
which is Jesus, who brings life. But if every revelation
-
comes from.
-
Me, it means you're not full of faith, Oh God,
-
Oh God.
-
And I know this goes against it being built on
-
a personality. I'm not trying to build you towards me.
-
I'm trying to equip you for the works of ministry.
-
So when you in the.
-
Streets and you on that Amazon truck, and when you're
-
in that CEO suite, you're supposed to be the one
-
when you get squeezed. Christ is supposed to come out.
-
Faith is supposed to come out. Love is supposed to
-
come out. Generosity is supposed to come out.
-
But we getting.
-
Squeezed in acting like somebody full of fear, full of faith.
-
Come on, y'all, we full of foul when we get squeezed.
-
We acting just like everybody else that don't have a
-
prayer life. Oh God, all right, Hebrews eleven one. I'm
-
just giving you some scriptures to load you up with
-
the right thing for your faith. Faith shows the reality
-
of what we hope for. The Bible says it in
-
another trance, like faith is the substance of things that
-
I don't see yet. It's the evidence of things that
-
are to come.
-
When you fill up with faith, it proves you have
-
a future.
-
He says. Faith is the evidence that you believe God
-
gonna do something up there. I'm using my faith right here.
-
I got faith to believe twenty twenty six is gonna
-
be my best year.
-
Yeah. You say that every.
-
Year, and I'm gonna say it every year until I
-
see it.
-
Every year.
-
I will supply God with faith. I have faith that
-
my next relationship is gonna be my spouse.
-
Well that's that's girl.
-
You kind of believe in a lie. But I'm not
-
going to sew doubt. I'm not going to sew what
-
I don't want. I'm gonna sew what I do want.
-
And if you are not full of faith, fear is
-
the only thing that you have. Church, are you full
-
of faith today? I'm trying to put it in. Put
-
your faith in a place where you can grow because
-
faith is contagious. Faith is one of those things that
-
if you get connected to the right people, they can
-
stretch you beyond what you've been stretched before. This is
-
why it is important who you marry, because you can
-
get with the right person and your faith being mixed
-
with their faith can create a generational legacy that you
-
never thought was possible.
-
But if you get with the.
-
Wrong person, they will pull down the things that you.
-
Know God is saying. And what I'm saying to.
-
You is it's time to fill upload the gun with
-
faith because you're gonna get squeezed. So what you triggered,
-
what comes out? Your kid's gonna break something soon, I
-
prophesy it. I don't have to prophesy that you got kids.
-
When your kids break something that you worked hard for,
-
what's gonna come out? Are you gonna treat them how
-
Your loving Father in Heaven treated you. When you broke promises,
-
we forget about what we needed.
-
When it's time to give.
-
Are you gonna give compassion and grace and love and understanding?
-
Are you gonna give what you got from your mama? Neil?
-
Have you have you?
-
Have you replaced that bitterness you were full of and
-
got real love to place in there. I'm just gonna
-
give you a few more scriptures and then I'm gonna
-
let you go home. Tewod Corinthians five to seven. For
-
we walk bye, we walk by faith. I'm full of
-
faith because this is the only way I can walk.
-
What's gonna happen.
-
Tomorrow don't know, but I'm full of faith and the
-
expectation that God is going to do something.
-
How's the church gonna be next year?
-
Don't know, But I'm full of faith that God is
-
not done. He that began a good work on the
-
beginning of the inside of this situation, It's gonna be
-
faithful to complete it.
-
How's the fam crazy?
-
But I believe that God is reconciling us back together
-
and we're gonna deal with our issues.
-
I'm going to walk talk live by fan.
-
And it's so crazy even right now in a church.
-
I'm having to convince people.
-
To believe it's because of what we're fit full of
-
right now.
-
You're so filled with fear and anxiety and what the
-
news said and what Instagram said and what Twitter said,
-
and what your favorite podcaster has proclaimed.
-
Over your life and over the next year.
-
And you better start watching this because when this happens,
-
this is gonna.
-
What did the Word say? What did God say about
-
the situation? What has our father already tonight?
-
These people are gonna be dead and gone.
-
And the question is the old folks would have said,
-
whose report will you believe?
-
And the old says, if I was in an old chase,
-
they would.
-
Say, we will believe the report of the Lord.
-
And most people aren't even on his newsfeed. You're not
-
getting what God's same daily. You're getting what everybody else
-
is saying. You're filling up on fear. And today I'm
-
just asking you just simply trick or something different.
-
That's the title of my sermon.
-
That's all I want you to remember, Trick or something different,
-
Because this same bottle and this trigger, if it's filled
-
with all of this content and I start doing this,
-
it's going to only bring out what's on the inside.
-
But but give me something to pour this out in.
-
But this same vessel, this is what we Then we
-
just sing a song altered. Here's my sacrifice.
-
God.
-
Today, I'm pouring out fear, and I'm pouring out years
-
of control, and I'm pouring out all of the perversion
-
that was put in since I was six years old.
-
And God, here I am pouring out my love for
-
alcohol and my addiction to substances. Here I'm pouring out,
-
Father God, the jealousy that I've had for people, Father God,
-
all around me, my whole life.
-
And Father God, I don't want it anymore.
-
And this is where the enemy convince you to feel
-
back up on the same thing because you are empty.
-
This is a very vulnerable position to be in church,
-
that you have to be around the right thing. This
-
is why you don't go to church and cry at
-
the altar and then go to the club the next night,
-
not because the club is some magical place. It's just
-
gonna feel you back up with the same thing you've
-
prayed to get rid of. So now you're at the
-
club with only a little bit of clothes on, trying
-
to actually get somebody to bring that jellya back home,
-
so y'all can make some peanut butter and jelly and
-
you actually want somebody to actually love you.
-
This is hilarious to me.
-
And you are filling back off on all of this stuff.
-
And then depending on how long how long you stay
-
in that cycle, then you have to come and say, God,
-
it's a new year today, Father God, I want to
-
pour out something that has been keeping me held back
-
all of your Father. Today, I'm pouring out all the
-
fear that I'll die alone. I'm pouring out the fear,
-
Father God, of trying to provide for myself. And this
-
is the point where you're empty, and God saying, what
-
are you full of?
-
What are you putting in movies? You shouldn't watch when
-
you're here.
-
There's certain things you cannot entertain when you're here.
-
And this is.
-
Why when you come in contact with Jesus, the content changes. See,
-
what he wants to do is fill you with his
-
precious blood. The Bible begins to tell us that he
-
shed his blood for the remission, for the transition of
-
our sins, so that when he gives us something, it's
-
something that will leave us changed. Everybody, listen to me,
-
Now when I get squeezed, something different.
-
Should come out. Now watch it. Now, everybody's starting to
-
lean back. Now.
-
It's crazy that the substance that's here will leave evidence
-
that it was there.
-
Oh my god, this stuff just gonna.
-
Make you wet, and it's gonna dry, and it's gonna
-
make you sticky, and it's.
-
Gonna get you.
-
But if you get touched with the thing that has
-
transforming power on the inside of it, I feel my
-
health coming up.
-
It should change.
-
The way you look, the way you act. Will come
-
help me? Oh, Bella, come here, sweetheart, my little Bella
-
go go put one on. Will to come here? Bells, No,
-
come here? Just okay, you're gonna stay right there. Okay,
-
they told you to stay up there because of the
-
LED huh. Use a good baby listen to instructions now.
-
As a parent, what I'm full of is going to
-
get on them. So when my baby is on YouTube
-
and she sees somebody's beautiful soul who's written don't ever
-
watch Michael Todd. He's a horrible man. And my daughter
-
calls me from school and.
-
Says, Daddy, why would they say that about you?
-
Why would they say that I saw something I wasn't looking,
-
but I just saw don't ever listen to him.
-
And now I don't care if you talk about me.
-
Okay, okay, I need to be real with y'all. I
-
don't care if you talk about me. I don't care
-
if you I'm big boy, I can't handle it. Come
-
come meet me. But when it starts to affect.
-
My family, now now, now, now.
-
Now, the truth is, that's my emotion.
-
But what I did in that situation is I explained
-
to my daughter and a hard moment, maybe there's some
-
people that are really, really hurting and the only way
-
that they know to actually deal with their pain is
-
to actually talk about other people. And so Bella, anytime
-
anybody talks about your daddy, we're gonna pray for them.
-
She just was marked for her whole life by how
-
I responded when I got squeezed.
-
Daddy. How do I ha when.
-
These little boys want to talk to you, bring them
-
to me and I'll kill them.
-
Oh no, I mean.
-
I got to acknowledge that human nature. But Bell's, what
-
if I told you if you ever like a boy?
-
What if me and Mommy told you, Jay, I've told
-
you a lot of things. So yes, but what I
-
what I told you. The main thing me and mommy
-
told you is that you can like a little boy,
-
but we want to do what first. I want to
-
date them first, so so so she knows. And young man,
-
if you're watching right now and we have multiple multiple
-
we rolled deep, it's gonna be a scene of bad
-
boys in that home.
-
Like Reggie. What did no Just.
-
What I'm saying is, hey, mom and Daddy don't want
-
to shun you away from this.
-
She's twelve. I shouldn't be talking to her about this.
-
But if you don't put an imprint on your children,
-
we've told you. We've had conversations about sex at twelve.
-
I need every parent to wake up. Wake up.
-
I've talked to my daughter about generosity, about giving. I've
-
talked to my daughter about so many things.
-
Because what I'm trying to do is leave a mark
-
on her that cannot be a race. Hear me.
-
Generationally, she can walk away, but you've seen what a
-
life of faith is. She can steal, wild out, she
-
can do everything, but when she needs to be reminded
-
of what has been put on her church, what I'm
-
trying to tell you is what you're full of it's
-
marking your children. What you're full of is marking your coworkers.
-
What you're full of will come here. When God dealt
-
with me about my weight, he had to fill me
-
up with faith to believe I would not be overweight
-
and unhealthy anymore. That took faith before it took my fact.
-
I had to speak those things that were not as
-
though they were. I'm healthy, I'm gonna be able to run.
-
I'm going to not have this joint pain. I'm going
-
to actually be able to say no to Bluebell cookies and.
-
I straight, I'm gonna tell you no. You did not
-
control me.
-
And when I started living that life, I started telling
-
Will by faith, I believe you can be healthy. Well,
-
you got kids, you got a family. I believe your
-
ministry has to go to another level. Well, I think
-
that this needs to actually.
-
Not be the size hoodie you wear, because this would
-
have been a five.
-
X and now it's large because I see you in
-
the future.
-
Now watch now, watch, watch, watch, watch.
-
It's marked him because of the faith I was full of.
-
They look and live different. All I'm asking you is
-
what are you full of? Because this year you will
-
be triggered. The trigger is not the problem.
-
It's what's in you that's the problem.
-
When your kid makes you mad, when you get the
-
unexpected tax bill when they This past week, our main
-
house TV went out and yeah, oh wow. And the
-
crazy thing about it, it was a nice TV. And
-
as soon as it went out I got triggered because
-
the immediate thing was.
-
I'm gonna have to merry Christmas, kids.
-
And a happy New Year like and the Holy Spirit
-
told me, do not worry about it, chill out, call
-
and see if you have a warranty.
-
Found out the warranty expired one month earlier. Triggered again. Done.
-
I should have broken laugh, mother should have through something
-
at that mug schedule, the appointment, have the people come out,
-
and all these spirits said, just choose a different response,
-
trigger something different.
-
We have played more games in our house this week.
-
We have.
-
They set up little air hockey on the floor.
-
There's just been so much other energy that's been in
-
our house because our main TV has been out.
-
I have more peace without Bluey and Cocoa.
-
Melon and all of the myriad of demonic, repetitive songs
-
playing like they're not the money. I chose to trigger
-
something different. I'm just saying to you, fillip on faith,
-
because the trigger doesn't matter if he can trust you
-
with his content. I'm gonna finish this by just telling
-
your story. Can y'all give it up for Will and
-
Bella from me real quick? Don't take those off though.
-
Here we go watch this. I need you to go
-
study numbers this week. Chapter thirteen, verse twenty five because
-
when I thought about somebody having and triggering something different,
-
I thought about Joshua and Caleb.
-
In the face of.
-
So much squeezing them, they still were able to come
-
out of a.
-
Really bad situation with faith.
-
And if you don't know the story, I'm gonna give
-
you the cliff notes real quick, and I have the
-
whole thing written down. But I just feel like everybody
-
say trigger something different, say it like you mean it,
-
trigger something different. I'm believing that for you and your family,
-
you're gonna be the one to trigger something different.
-
When it comes to all the different.
-
Things where everybody gets frustrated, You're gonna trigger something different.
-
I'm gonna speak joy and encouragement into this situation. I'm
-
triggering something different. This is where people would usually hate.
-
I'm gonna pray and I'm gonna trigger love. In this situation,
-
somebody just say trigger something different.
-
The reason I'm saying this to you.
-
Is because it takes you out of the powerless position.
-
Life is not just happening to you.
-
As a believer, you have the ability to actually change it.
-
And Joshua and Caleb triggered something different. Check the backstory
-
real quick. This is the m At version of the Bible.
-
Joshua and Caleb are part of being delivered from Egypt.
-
Moses, y'all remember Mosy. He came out said let my
-
people go. Pharaoh was like eh for ten times, then lost.
-
His son was like, Dad, gummt, I should have listened
-
with the frogs, let the people go, and then and
-
then for good like all, no.
-
That's not what I'll do. I'm the bad guy in
-
the story.
-
So the people leaving, two million of them. Then he
-
is like, nah, get the truths. We're going to kill them.
-
They start chasing them. They get to the Red Sea,
-
Moses and two million people. They don't got nothing else.
-
Moses is like, God, what I do? He said, lift
-
up your staff, use what you got. Trigger something different.
-
He lifts it up. Boom, the sea splits, The people
-
walk in and then they're like, y'all, y'all need to
-
be speed walking because.
-
They comment, and so they speed walking across the dry land.
-
Is what the Bible tells us.
-
I'm just giving you the cliff notes so you can
-
see the whole thing. And these people make it through.
-
And then God is like, yeah, I'm gonna drown your
-
enemy as well and close it to sea. Up on
-
them boys, they are literally free. Now they're in a wilderness,
-
and the Bible tells us they're in the wilderness, and
-
they're only supposed to be in the.
-
Wilderness for eleven days.
-
The wilderness was a purification process that God was trying
-
to take them through. Watch this to be filled with
-
something different.
-
Oh God, he.
-
Was trying to deliver them from slavery and pour their
-
content out in the wilderness and fill them with faith
-
to believe. He said, I just did the greatest miracle
-
you've ever seen in your entire life. Delivered you. You
-
came out with gold and silver, walked through on dry land,
-
and your enemy was devoured all in a short period
-
of time.
-
You should be full of faith.
-
How quickly we forget the miracles God does for us.
-
These people are now in the wilderness, hungry nothing around.
-
God literally creates food for them from the do every morning.
-
They're like, what is this foo fool?
-
There's nothing to share, like you like, it's a miracle,
-
And it's so crazy that we ca calls something we
-
don't prefer, something that we don't need.
-
Because it's not how we thought it was gonna come.
-
But He was doing a miracle for these people in
-
front of everybody, and literally he said, Moses, you go
-
up and you talk to me, because I'm gonna.
-
Give you some instructions.
-
And what ends up happening is these people instead of
-
staying faithful to what God is saying for them to do,
-
because he gave them a promise. He said, I promising
-
you a landflorwing with milk and honey. I'm promising you
-
that you are gonna walk into a season that is.
-
So much better than this. But I need you to
-
be full of faith and empty to fear.
-
And instead of emptying him themselfs of fear, they threw
-
a party, and they literally took all the gold that
-
God gave them from the Egyptians and made golden cash
-
to start worshiping idols when they should have been literally
-
being like, God, you're the greatest. I never thought I
-
wouldn't be whipped and beaten.
-
To try to build something to another man.
-
God, they were the wrong thing because they were full
-
of fear. They worshiped to watch this career worship. The
-
followers worshiped growth, and God sae, you worshiping the wrong thing.
-
I ain't got no problem with that, but thou shalt
-
have no other gods before me. They were getting filled
-
with fear, so they made up something to worship when
-
they already had someone to worship.
-
Oh God, I wish I had.
-
More time, but this is the end of this thing.
-
Moses gets sick of these people, and God does too.
-
Then Moses remembers he's the leader and like, never mind, God,
-
don't kill him, Please just hold them. And Moses goes
-
back and forth so much so these people triggered him
-
so bad that the one who obeyed God to get
-
him there started to disobey God when he was in
-
the wilderness. You know, other people can start to affect
-
your faith obedience. You're gonna strike the wrong when he
-
told you to do something else. And God said, Moses,
-
because you stopped being fooled filled with the right thing.
-
When you got triggered, you did the wrong thing. And
-
he said, because of that, you and all these wicked
-
people will not make it into the Promised Land. And
-
the reason this is jacked up is because an eleven
-
day journey turned into a forty year death. Why because
-
of disobedience. But a lot of people missed the key
-
factor in all of this.
-
That were twelve spies that were.
-
Sent into the Promised Land to go and see is
-
it really like what God said? And they were supposed
-
to come back. This is in that eleven day time period.
-
I want you all to understand this ain't years into it.
-
This is like right when they.
-
Get in, Yo, Joshua, Caleb, other guys go over there,
-
see if it's good, and let us know so we
-
can know how to do it. This has already been
-
promised by God.
-
I just need you to see how we gonna attack this.
-
They go in, and the Bible said, okay, gotta read
-
just a little part of it. Numbers thirteen twenty five.
-
After exploring the land for forty days, these men went
-
and explored it for forty days.
-
They returned to Moses.
-
And Aaron in the whole community of Israel at Kadesh
-
in the wilderness at Paran. They reported to the whole
-
community what they had seen and showed them the fruit
-
they had taken from the land.
-
This was their report to Moses.
-
We entered the land you sent us to explore, and
-
it is indeed beautiful, bountiful, It is blessed, a land
-
flowing with milk and honey. Here is the kind of
-
juicy fruit that it produces. The Litteral of the Bible
-
said to bring back a stalk of grapes, it had.
-
To be carried between two men, like just some grapes.
-
Okay, it says, here's the fruit it produces. But the
-
people living there are powerful, and their towns are large
-
and forty five. We even saw giants there, and the
-
descendants of Ani. The Amalek heights live in the Najiev
-
and the Hittits, and the Jebusites, and the Emirates and
-
the gladys Knights live in the hill country, the Canaan Kits,
-
along with the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and along
-
the Jordan Valley Verse thirty. But Caleb told everybody big quiet.
-
He stood before the people and Moses, and.
-
He says, let's go up at wants and take the land.
-
We can certainly conquer it.
-
But the other man was like, no, he lion, because
-
we explored the land with him and we disagree.
-
We can't go up against them. They are stronger than
-
we are.
-
So they spread this fear field report. They spread the
-
bad report about the.
-
Land among the Israelites.
-
And the land we traveled through and explore will devour.
-
They are now exaggerating it literally says, have the land
-
that we will go through with devour anyone who goes
-
to live there.
-
You just came back. You was there forty days.
-
And you're still here telling us about it. It devours anyone.
-
All the people we saw were huge guys. They were huge,
-
and we even saw science there, the descendants of anac
-
next to them. Here's their insecurity. We felt like grasshoppers,
-
and I think that's what they thought too. They projected
-
onto the people because they believed, and they were full
-
of fear when they should have been full of.
-
Church. Let your faith trigger something different. Period. This message
-
honestly is not for everybody. For this year.
-
I'm trying to get you started, so by the time
-
we stand here next year, you will have empirical data
-
that when you started or gave in the crazy faith offering,
-
or started working out, or started saying today, when you
-
go apologize to your kids, mommy is sorry for talking
-
to y'all.
-
When I get mad a.
-
Certain way, I am going to try my hardest to
-
let everything that comes out of my mouth be edifying.
-
I know that's gonna take some of y'all. Your pride
-
just stood up right there. You just got triggered by
-
what I said because it was a challenge to live
-
like God. The Bible literally says, let everything, let no
-
corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth except that which
-
is edifying to the hero. So when I just triggered you,
-
what came up?
-
Some of you?
-
The thing that came up was the thing that we
-
got to replace. Bring up something, What comes up, abstinence?
-
What just came up? There are people in here that
-
nothing came up because you married. There's other people in
-
here that you've been yet holding on.
-
Hold to this hey like and and and what I'm
-
what I'm saying to you is.
-
If you already said I can't do that, if you've
-
already declared like God wouldn't require that.
-
If you.
-
What comes up when God is asking for you to
-
give sacrificially.
-
Is it fear or is it faith?
-
The reason I'm asking this is because I remember when
-
I traded. My friends were telling me earlier as I
-
was talking about this, it's like, you're so freaking pumped
-
up to talk about faith and what God has done,
-
and like, did you always been like this? And I
-
was like, no, I'm not always been like this, but
-
I remember when it changed. I remember when I made
-
the decision that either God's word is true or it's not.
-
And I started acting like if it's true, then I'm
-
gonna actually do the stuff, like I'm gonna actually do
-
the stuff. And they were like, most people think fear, fear, fear,
-
and then somewhere down here it's like faith. And you
-
were like you think faith, faith, faith, and then somewhere
-
down here there might be some fear.
-
I was like, that actually is the truth.
-
Like when something happens, I'm like, God's gonna work this
-
out like and then if he don't, it's like, well, maybe.
-
He wanted to work it out a different way.
-
And then when he didn't do it like that, maybe
-
he's trying to teach me something.
-
And then when he's.
-
Trying to do like, man, dang what I didn't learn
-
like and then it's like.
-
Maybe he left me like but it takes it takes me.
-
My first my first reactions have turned into faith. But
-
that's because of how much I put faith. Today, I'm
-
just asking, can we change the ratio? Can we get
-
some more faith in there? Because without faith it's impossible
-
to please God. You've been widowed, you've been hurt, You've
-
been trying, and now God's asking you, hey, fillip on
-
faith because now when you get triggered, we're gonna trigger
-
something different. Joshua Wayne Caleb triggered something different. They said, Yo,
-
we can do this. We can go and live where
-
God told us to live. Two out of two million,
-
two out of two many, which lets me know that
-
faith might be popular, but faith might not be popular,
-
but it will preserve you.
-
Let me just say it one more time, walking in crazy.
-
Faith may not be popular, but with God, it will
-
preserve you. So guess what they did. They're the ones
-
that said God will believe you no matter what. And
-
God said, I'm gonna let all two million of them
-
perish and you will be the only two that make
-
it into the Promised Land. And so if you want
-
to trigger something different, three points go home.
-
Here we go. How do you trigger something different?
-
Believe what others don't? Trigger something different, Believe what others want.
-
The Spirit Bank of Vince Center will be transformation church.
-
Nobody believed that thirty seven days after I became the
-
pastor of the church.
-
Now everybody sits in it.
-
I want it doesn't matter if everybody believes. God's not
-
looking for everybody to believe He's looking for somebody. And
-
many of us have been thrown because we don't have
-
agreement from everybody.
-
Your faith takes you believing.
-
What God's challenging me and my wife to give in
-
this offering is scary, scary, and I want to say
-
that out loud so you know that I'm not back
-
here as a pastor like ooh yes, crazy faith offering.
-
I want God to give us a different way to
-
do this because I can't take you nowhere. I'm not
-
leading you in. I want you to hear this from me.
-
Me and my wife's looking at each other last night
-
like mmm mm mmmm, did you keep the leftovers from Thanksgiving?
-
Like Pastor Mike, why are you saying that?
-
Because you never get to a level in your faith
-
where God doesn't require a higher level.
-
I just want to let you know right now, no matter.
-
Where you get to, Oh I did it, God I
-
got he goes cool, gol cool.
-
We go from glory to glory and faith to faith.
-
It may not be the same thing, but I'm gonna
-
challenge you in a different way because I'm trying to
-
create something in you. I'm trying to make you dependent
-
on me. The Christian walk is not an independent life.
-
It's a dependent life.
-
And so God desires for you to be like I
-
still need you. And so the amount may go up,
-
the ass may go up, the sacrifice may go up.
-
But God saying you still need.
-
Me, don't you.
-
Yes, Lord on needs so put you write down on
-
that crazy faith card. Believe God for what others want.
-
Second way that you trigger something different.
-
Joshua and Caleb did it. They protect the seed of
-
their belief. Protect the seed of your belief. We had
-
some landscaping done at our house, and there's this little
-
portion at the front of our house that has really
-
for two years been getting jacked up because it's right
-
on the street and literally, like if the Amazon people
-
are the uber people come up, they just drive right
-
onto it. Like it's like they don't see that, like
-
this is my yard.
-
This is the yard. No no, no, no, Like we put.
-
Signs up, we've done other stuff, and every time the
-
mulch all in the street, it's like the most perfect
-
place for them to.
-
Like just pull up, get this stuff.
-
But that's my yard and we planted stuff there that
-
doesn't grow because it keeps getting run over. So this
-
last week, when the gods came back, they did something
-
we needed to do two years ago. They put up.
-
Barriers, boundaries and.
-
A whole little Fort Knox there's rocks now. And then
-
they put up a little like and then I.
-
Don't know what the official terms are.
-
For them, but it's protecting the thing that still needs
-
to grow.
-
If you drive up on it now, you have a chance.
-
That your tire gonna get popped before my plants.
-
Get messed up. For years, the seeds were not protected.
-
My question to you, are you protecting the seeds of
-
your faith? I bet Joshua and Caleb because y'all don't
-
really understand the context of this. This was not a
-
miracle that happened in a year God told them to
-
go spy out the land when they were forty. Guess
-
when Joshua and Caleb got into the promised lamb eighty
-
five eighty I bet twenty years after life.
-
I told these foods, we was well labeled. We still
-
out here eating manna. I tasted that great? Oh what
-
are we doing? Yeah?
-
Hey, man of God, Joshua, I'll punch you in the face.
-
You don't believe neither fool. I don't bet whether that
-
was Joshua or Caleb, I don't know.
-
Sometimes they had to encourage each other, bro, But remember
-
what God said, Hey, protect the word.
-
He told us our family would be healed. Protect that.
-
He told me that I beat the lender and not
-
to borrow. Protect that. I know I'm still borrowing money.
-
But hold on, wait, wait wait wait, hold on, no no, no, no, no, no,
-
no no.
-
We got to keep saying what God said. Don't be
-
like them. They already dismissed what God said. Protect, put
-
a boundary around. Don't let others talk down on no
-
no one. Thing you ain't gonna do is tell me
-
I'm not going to You don't have to believe.
-
But I know what God said.
-
That's how you trigger something different. Last point, how do
-
you trigger something different?
-
You believe longer, not necessarily stronger.
-
Sometimes in church we can make it feel like our
-
faith needs to be crazy. You're bigger and louder, and
-
sometimes all it needs to do is last They had
-
the same amount of faith when they set out to
-
go to the Promised Land forty five years earlier. They
-
just had to keep that faith until everybody else died.
-
They're watching their grandkids. I had to stop. They were
-
the only ones to be able to be in the Promised.
-
Land with their grandkids because it was about generations more
-
than it was about even them just making it in.
-
God was trying to do something so the whole family
-
could experience the Promised Land. And what I'm asking you
-
to do is don't stop believing. I think Journey pinned that.
-
Don't stop believing. Don't stop believing y'all can have the
-
marriage that God called you to. Don't stop believing that
-
you can actually go to sleep without those substances. Don't know,
-
I'm just for real. Don't stop believing that your kids
-
will be saved. Don't stop believing that your family is
-
going to actually be whole again. Don't stop believing that
-
you can get rid of that rage that's been in
-
your heart. Today, I'm asking you to fill up on
-
something different. Pass Mike, how do we do that? You
-
remember the one who emptied himself out so that we
-
could be full of something else? Well, could you come
-
just stand right here at the end of the stage
-
real quick, because I want everybody to see because time
-
has gone by since my faith marked Will, and I
-
just want you to see that there's still evidence on
-
Will of what happened to him. Is there evidence of
-
what Jesus has done for you in your life? Now?
-
I'm just I'm asking you. I'm not this is for evaluation.
-
Is there evidence Why I invite people to church, Why
-
I show seeds, why I pray for people not just
-
at the altar, but at the gas station. It's because
-
I have evidence on my life that's marked me forever.
-
Church.
-
As we end this year, I want something to be
-
triggered differently in each.
-
One of us.
-
What is the thing that's supposed to come out that
-
looks like God that gets on others? I can't change
-
it for you. You have to desire for God to
-
exchange what's on the inside now for what looks and
-
is already paid for.
-
The sacrifice he's made.
-
Thank you will today I'm gonna just pray for every
-
person because this one, this is an inside job. This
-
is an inside job by some white Why are you
-
coming with like this? Why are you saying all of this?
-
Because you're gonna keep acting the same until you say, God,
-
take this out of me. He's not gonna force it
-
out of you.
-
Take this out of me, creating me a clean heart
-
and renewing me the white spirit. God, I'm argumentative by nature,
-
So take.
-
This out of me. I wanna fight, I wanna win.
-
Come on, these are real things. I am competitive, I
-
want I want no one else to be on my level,
-
whether I say it or not.
-
And God's saying, can I take it out?
-
No? This is who I am, This is who I've been,
-
This is how people know me. This Who would I
-
be without it? God's calling. Just just become full of faith.
-
Started listening to the words. Some of y'all just need
-
to listen to the word. Going to sleep, waking up
-
in your car, cut the music, you just need to
-
put put it on. Faith comes by and hearing the
-
word of you gotta get that in you the trigger
-
only exposes what the gun is loaded with.
-
What are you full of?
-
And I'm declaring over you and your life, and your family,
-
and your business and your generational line that you will
-
be full of faith standing all over this place.
-
Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord.
-
Joshua and Caleb got to experience something that everybody they
-
were around didn't get to experience, which lets me know
-
that you can have a different life than the people
-
you love. I know this is the hard one for
-
a lot of people to understand, but there are people
-
you love that won't believe. I've come to the conclusion
-
that there are some people that I really want to
-
do some certain things and God to do some things
-
in their life that they will not supply God with
-
the faith to do it. And I will not die
-
in a place God has called to be a pass
-
through because others will not believe. Today, Church, I'm asking
-
you to be the generational changer in your family, to
-
be the one that people could aspire to be like,
-
to be more like Christ.
-
And trigger something different.
-
I'm praying that every time you get angry, that you
-
would trigger joy. No think about it, that every time
-
you feel lack.
-
You would trigger generosity that every time you feel overwhelmed,
-
you would trigger peace. Do you know that can happen?
-
He said, be filled with these fruits of the spirit.
-
What are they? Love?
-
Joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, self control? He said, that
-
can be in there. So when they cut you off
-
and you get triggered, what.
-
Comes out self control? Oh, you better be glad. I'm
-
saved and God is a heaven light. There you go.
-
Vengeance is mine.
-
They were expecting you to act like somebody else, but
-
you were strong enough not to even fall for that.
-
And so now they got to evaluate their whole situation
-
because they was ready to fight and they looking dumb.
-
If you want to be full of faith, would you
-
your hands all over this place?
-
Please? I want to pray for you God. I thank
-
you for this moment. You are definitely in this place, Father,
-
as we've.
-
Brought honesty and reality and our experiences to your feet.
-
I thank you that today you are letting us know that.
-
We get to choose.
-
We can either be full of fear like the entire
-
children of Israel, or we can be full of faith
-
like Joshua and Caleb. I just thank you for the
-
audacity and the courage to believe what nobody.
-
Else will believe in crazy faith. You can do it.
-
You just prove to them that you could deliver them. Father,
-
let us never forget how you've delivered us, how you've
-
brought us out, and how you have a glorious.
-
Future for us. I'm asking that you would replace the
-
fear with faith.
-
Fill us up till we ain't got no more room, God,
-
and then fill us again.
-
Let something in our life change.
-
And I'm praying for every person Father, that's believing in
-
crazy faith for something Father that money can't by.
-
They need you to intervene.
-
God, I thank you that faith without works is completely dead.
-
So show us the work that we need to do
-
to be in step and in line with the miracle
-
that you're gonna do. We shall see the promised land.
-
I feel that we're gonna see what the promised land
-
looks like.
-
Father.
-
I pray for those who are wrestling right now with
-
their current experience and the faith that's trying to merge
-
even after hearing this message. God, I thank you that
-
they would protect the seed of faith that has been
-
planted today.
-
Father, it can be small, mustard. See faith, that's.
-
All you need Father, God, and you will scour the
-
whole earth trying to see if you'll find somebody with faith.
-
I thank you for husbands and wives who are believing
-
you right now for big things.
-
And I pray for this church as we step into
-
a season of crazy faith giving next week, for those
-
who will come, for those who are still asking you
-
for amounts and obedience.
-
I just thank you do what you're gonna do.
-
God. We trust you because you began a good work
-
on the inside of us, and you're gonna be faithful
-
to finish it.
-
I don't mind waiting.
-
I don't mind way.
-
I don't mind on you, Lord.
-
That's what Joshua and Caleb had to do. I don't
-
mind waiting. I don't mind. I don't mind. If you're
-
in this room, if you've never accepted Jesus, He's been
-
waiting on you.
-
Today is the day of salvation.
-
I feel the presidence of God because heart surgery is
-
happening right now.
-
There are people that are evaluating things. God speaking, the
-
Holy Spirit is here. He's with you as you're watching this.
-
Right now, something different is about to be triggered on
-
the inside of you.
-
I see it, I sense it. I feel it.
-
If you've never accepted Jesus. Today, I want to pray
-
with you, and it's a thing.
-
That changed my life. It took me from being.
-
A liar of manipulator, somebody who is addicted to pornography,
-
had very bad things in my heart, and it took
-
me on a path of repentance and progressing. Today I
-
want to give you that opportunity. God's trying to do
-
heart change. This is the last month of the last
-
of the this year, and God wants to do something
-
for you that changes trajectory of your next season. But
-
it comes with the act of faith, and it's by
-
faith that.
-
We are saved through grace.
-
So right now, if you want to accept Jesus, it's
-
one person in this room, and I know there's more
-
in here that have been far from God. There's more
-
that is watching online or watching from the correctional facility.
-
Right now, I want to give you the opportunity. I
-
need the church to begin to pray because you know
-
what this moment was like.
-
This is light and dark, This is light, and this
-
is toggling.
-
Through my old lifestyle and the new and right now
-
somebody's about to go from fear to faith.
-
If you were in this room and you want to
-
make Jesus.
-
Christ your personal Lord and savior on account three, I
-
just want you to shoot your hand up already. See
-
your hands, my brother one, you're making the greatest decision
-
in this life. To your name will be written in
-
the Lamb's Book of Life. Three with faith. Just suit
-
your hand up. Bro.
-
I'm so proud of you. I'm so proud of you.
-
Come on, if you're in this room, I see your hands.
-
I see your hands. I see your hands, and more
-
than that, God sees you.
-
Come on, Church, just give God praise right there.
-
Hallelujah.
-
It's a switch, bro, God's doing something new in you.
-
And at TC, where a family, all of us have.
-
Been through it.
-
All of us have walked down the wrong path and
-
God found us. And today I just want to let
-
you know, this is your day of salvation. He's switching
-
out the thing that's in. It won't be motivated by fear,
-
it won't be motivated by loss. It's gonna be motivated
-
by hope.
-
And joy and love. And today is a new day
-
for you. At TC, nobody prays alone. What everybody?
-
Just lift your hands for the benefit of those coming
-
to Christ, and just repeat after me, say God, thank
-
you for sending Jesus just for me today, repent of
-
all my sins.
-
And I turned to you.
-
I believe you lived, you died, and you rose again
-
with all power, and that power now lives in me.
-
Change me, renew me, transform me. I'm yours in Jesus' name.
-
Amen.
-
Hey, can we turn up with all I have in
-
right now? Oh? Come on church, hollerlujah from one soul
-
and there's several in here, so proud of you.
-
We want to give you some information.
-
And if you text that the number on the screen
-
you text say to eight two eight two eight two,
-
We're gonna send you some information. Is anybody's faith encouraged
-
this morning? Hey, all week, I want you to be
-
open to praying, listen and obey.
-
And this is the last thing that I'm gonna say
-
to you.
-
Everybody, listen. The enemy will never tell you to give anything.
-
So if you hear God say something, you say, oh,
-
that had to be the devil. That wasn't the devil.
-
He does the opposite For God so loved the world.
-
The enemy comes to steal, keel and destroy. You got
-
a no character, so if God tells you to give something,
-
it's him and we're gonna be ones to believe that
-
He's gonna make a way. I can't wait to see
-
you next week as we give in crazy faith. Some
-
of y'all you need to go ahead and do it
-
as soon as God tells you. You need to make
-
it happen. So you're not fighting all week. But we
-
are gonna honor that. And I can't wait invite somebody
-
next week. I have a word for you, and if
-
you need prayer for anything right now, you can come
-
to the altar. Do not leave unless you get prayer
-
if you need it, because we know that prayer works.
-
I love you until next week, go out and live.
