  1. Welcome to Transformation Church podcast, where we represent God to

  2. the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so

  3. glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe

  4. God will transform your life. Do today's message.

  5. I really pray that God meets you at the point

  6. of your expectation and your need today. Today's service is

  7. a blessing to see thousands of people here in the

  8. room and then help me welcome thousands of people online

  9. right now. Transformation Church. Oh, y'all can do better than that.

  10. I just want you to know that just because you

  11. are not in this room, it does not mean that

  12. you are a vital and valuable part of this ministry

  13. and mission. I could make an argument that you might

  14. be the most valuable part of this mission because most

  15. of the people who are in here didn't start here.

  16. They found us through this camera. Okay, let's just do

  17. a survey. How many people found Transformation Church not coming

  18. to the church first, but seeing a clip of video,

  19. a YouTube, Instagram. Look around. Okay, I just I just wanna.

  20. I just want to say that every person in this

  21. room potentially represents hundreds of people, and the fact that

  22. we are all gathered here today in crazy faith is

  23. a testimony to what God is doing to enlarge his

  24. church globally as well as the transformation that's taken place

  25. in people's lives. And today I am grateful and honored

  26. to stand here for the tenth time doing what we're

  27. about to do today, asking our church to take a

  28. step of faith by actually moving in generosity. And today

  29. I'm gonna get right into the sermon because as a pastor,

  30. I have a heartfelt burden to help God's people understand

  31. the Bible says. And all you're getting getting not a quickening,

  32. not a feeling, not goosebumps. The Bible says the greatest

  33. thing that you can get when you're a part of something.

  34. Is get an understanding.

  35. And I think there are a lot of people that

  36. have been in church a long time and when it

  37. comes to offerings and things that churches do, you just

  38. tolerate certain stuff and be like this will be over soon,

  39. and like let's just move on to the stuff that

  40. I like. But I think people are missing the actual

  41. spiritual nature of what God is trying to do in

  42. his children when he gives us opportunities to participate in

  43. things that watch this are uncomfortable. I've never been to

  44. the gym where it was comfortable. Now one time have

  45. I all gone to the chiropractor and they said, just

  46. sit here, this is going to be comfortable. What it

  47. does do is help me. What it does do is

  48. give me long life. But the actual process of what's

  49. happening usually requires a level of watch this patient waiting

  50. and trusting. When that man put his hands on me

  51. and twists me away, and I don't know you, and

  52. you're not my wife or my mama, and you say

  53. breathe in deep, and.

  54. I'm supposed to trust the school you went to.

  55. And somehow when he tells me to breathe in deep,

  56. and then he sets his whole body weight on me,

  57. and I hear immediately the fear turns into thankfulness immediately,

  58. like oh, whoa, I don't care where you went to school.

  59. Thank you for putting me in a position that caused

  60. me to get mobility back. Today, as we step into

  61. this journey, as many of us have already decided and

  62. prayed about what God is calling us to do, and

  63. others are still undecided, and you came to Treasure today

  64. and you're like crazy faith offering what are you talking about.

  65. I got two dollars to my name. I don't care

  66. nothing about what y'all talk about. Encourage me, Preachermaine. I'm

  67. glad for whatever reason you're here, But my assignment is

  68. to lovingly invite you into this faith walk.

  69. The Bible says that just shall live by says.

  70. This is what I've called you to do. And so

  71. today as I speak this word, I speak it knowing

  72. that if there was any year that I wanted to,

  73. like ask God for a pause on the crazy faith

  74. offering or this moment, it would be this year. Not

  75. because God has not been good, but the climate of

  76. our world right now is very unstable. I mean, we

  77. don't know if the government's gonna be open or shut down.

  78. We don't know if benefits for those who are need

  79. and underserved are gonna be there. We don't know if

  80. our healthcare is about to skyrocket in eighteen days. We

  81. don't know a lot eggs prices, gas prices, daycare prices.

  82. Some of y'all wouldn't have as many kids if you

  83. knew how much.

  84. If it to just watch them so you could have

  85. a job to then.

  86. Pay the people to watch your kids.

  87. It seems like the air like you notice the air

  88. on more and the heat on more.

  89. You know when your parents.

  90. Say, close my door, what you're trying to do? Heat

  91. up the neighborhood like? And you you didn't get it

  92. until twenty two twenty five, where some of us have

  93. had the best year fiscally and financially ever to God

  94. be the glory, while other people are like, carry the

  95. two minus one.

  96. And who can I pay later?

  97. Life has been lifing, So why in the world would

  98. in the middle of life, when people are grieving and

  99. people are moving, and then there's this big holiday that

  100. everybody puts so much pressure on called Christmas that Christ's

  101. name is in it, But really it just feels like stress.

  102. Miss oh okay. I thought I could be humble, open

  103. and transparent today at TC the stress of getting addressed

  104. for the Christmas party and I don't even want to

  105. be in a dress, and trying to pay off this

  106. credit card so I have enough to the gifts on

  107. it to be able to then pay, and then trying

  108. to figure out and in my car just and again

  109. it's not everybody's situation, but I just wanted to get.

  110. Up here as your pastor and let you know.

  111. I understand that our life situations many times can affect

  112. the way we approach our faith. Somebody's actually going through

  113. a divorce right now and have made it up in

  114. their mind. God wouldn't require this of me while I'm

  115. going through this crap. And there are so many times

  116. that we make up rules, regulations and hopefully passes when

  117. we're just handling hard stuff. And so I just wanted

  118. to come up here as your pastor and let you know,

  119. like the crazy faith pastor, the one who wrote the book,

  120. the one that was on the building like this year.

  121. I wanted to be like, Lord, you really want me

  122. to get up there and tell these people, this is

  123. your plan for us is to not act in faith situationally,

  124. but to live in faith consistently.

  125. Can you begin to.

  126. Remind me of his consistence that his grace and mercy

  127. are new. Doesn't matter who's the president, doesn't matter, what's

  128. going on in your school, doesn't matter what he said,

  129. Grace and mercy, you can depend.

  130. On it every morning, he said.

  131. What I'm trying to teach my children is that consistency

  132. and faith.

  133. Is better than this loud, big look at me faith.

  134. He said.

  135. I want you to be consistent.

  136. And so today I'm standing in my pastoral duty with

  137. all the faith that I can muster up to tell

  138. you that I'm aware of the climate, but that does

  139. not change the conditions of being a Christ follower. I'm

  140. gonna say it again, I'm aware of the climate, but

  141. it does not change the conditions that God ask us

  142. to live by. And that's why somebody's faith is going

  143. to grow today. That's why my faith has been stretched

  144. a decade into doing this. God said, do you believe

  145. your words are my words? I said, that ain't even

  146. a question. I'll be lying to myself all the time.

  147. I said I wouldn't go to have no cake at

  148. that birthday party, and there it was in my mouth.

  149. I'm I'm just trying to identify with the humanity of

  150. being a Christ follower. So today I want you to

  151. hear me from leading you just a step in front.

  152. I almost called this message a step in front of you,

  153. because I don't want you to ever think that we

  154. get so far in our Christian walk, even if you're

  155. the pastor, that it doesn't require you to still have faith.

  156. I don't want you to think that this is something

  157. like oh passing Mike gets that this week I have

  158. thought and contended for my faith, and today I wanted

  159. to come with that level of honesty because I could

  160. get up here and fake it, but y'all know me.

  161. God won't let me preach nothing I ain't going through.

  162. And so this week I'm gonna give the devil hell

  163. and a black eye when I preach this message. No,

  164. I'm saying this if this ain't for nobody else, it's

  165. for me to remind me that if you don't contend

  166. for your faith, the enemy will rob the very thing

  167. that has brought you to this place you're at now.

  168. And I believe by this honesty that I'm about to share,

  169. God is going to invigorate, ignite, and give you another

  170. ability to.

  171. Trust God on a different level.

  172. And so today I just want to approach this with

  173. another level of reverence. Today, at the end of this service,

  174. we're gonna have an opportunity to give some people have

  175. already given, and I wanted to teach a message that

  176. helped us understand that money is not the focus of

  177. this act of faith. And the reason that I have

  178. to help you with that because our natural mind goes

  179. to how much how much we have, how much.

  180. We don't have.

  181. And so I wanted to do something very very simple

  182. to let you know that our obedience to God when

  183. we walk in crazy faith, listen to this, write this

  184. point down that I'm gonna give you a scripture crazy

  185. faith will always be defined by obedience, never amounts. If

  186. you are going to do everything that God has called

  187. you to do, he is always asking you for obedience,

  188. never an amount, and He will give you specific amounts.

  189. He will give you specific directions, He will give you

  190. specific things. But God really don't care about that more

  191. than he cares about obedience. How many things have been

  192. free that we have disobeyed? How many times did he

  193. to us to go call that person, to go to

  194. that person's shop to say I'm sorry? And God is

  195. saying to us that you're missing the principle if you

  196. think that it is about how much the truth of

  197. the principle of obedience is how quick, golly, I'm apprecia

  198. this thing. No matter if you get it or not.

  199. Obedience is about somebody say how quick. What God wants

  200. is for him to be able to say something and

  201. before he even finishes the sentence, our ability to begin

  202. to move that direction has already started. How many of

  203. us know, anybody with kids? How many of us know

  204. that there is a sentence that you say often enough

  205. that your kids know the sentence you are about to say.

  206. Okay, come on, all of us have one of those.

  207. And my children know, hey, just at the hey hey hey,

  208. they're already aware if they just put the stuff down

  209. and did not put it where it goes and they block,

  210. hey hey, my children already have assumed that there is

  211. about to be an instruction.

  212. I have seen aba turn around on.

  213. The hey hey, hey, hey, hey, not when I said

  214. go pick up your shoes and put them in the cubby.

  215. It was they already knew their her heart was postured

  216. to obey before they even heard the instructions. My question

  217. to you is if God says, hey hey, hey hey,

  218. are you like hey hey, hey, hey hey, y'all know

  219. what I'm talking about where we have a stand up,

  220. Well God, hey, what do you? And God is saying,

  221. I'm looking for my children to have quick obedience. And

  222. the Bible says it like this, and we know this scripture,

  223. but I don't know if we've taken into account how

  224. much it means Fir Samuel fifteen twenty two.

  225. But Samuel replied, does the Lord delight.

  226. In the burnt offerings and the sacrifices as much as

  227. in obeying the Lord? He's given a rhetorical question right here,

  228. he said, you think God cares about them bigger mounts

  229. you're about to drop? He said, The more valuable matter

  230. is your obedience. He said, to obey is better than sacrifice.

  231. Obedience is better than what now. I know some of

  232. y'all are triggered because that was the scripture your parents

  233. use before they beat you.

  234. And I know because I was one of them.

  235. And so what I'm saying to you is it took

  236. me some years to undo the trauma because anytime I

  237. heard obedience is better than sacibaire, you better do what

  238. I say, Oh my boh bab.

  239. And this now, I just need to let you.

  240. Know how Mom wasn't at huh pray for me, and

  241. this this means I had to actually stop and look

  242. at it from God's perspective. God said, Michael, you praying

  243. every day and disobeying me, is not it? Your obedience

  244. to put down the weed is better than the sacrifice

  245. of you leading the Bible study I'm gonna say some

  246. real stuff to you right now. Your obedience to forgive

  247. your husband is better than the sacrifice of you running

  248. that nonprofit.

  249. Well, I'm helping so many children.

  250. But what I told you.

  251. Was forgive him. I told you to forgive him.

  252. But God, look at all the other children out of

  253. displaced that I'm helping, and God said, I'll take care

  254. of those children. Those are mine. I told you to

  255. forgive him. God is trying to tell us that they're

  256. watch this is there is a value system that is

  257. more weighty than money. Obedience is more valuable to God

  258. than your money, your time, your talent, and your treasure.

  259. And if you really believe that, your offering.

  260. Would have already started with the apology, your offering would

  261. have already started by signing up for the gym membership.

  262. He told you six years ago you were supposed to

  263. get in shape. I'm walking back because if you throw

  264. something at me, I want to have room to be

  265. able to duck. For some of you, the sacrifice that

  266. God wanted was not monetary. First, it wasn't coming out

  267. of a bank account. It was going to require a

  268. transaction of humility. And he's trying to tell us as

  269. a church. Hey, I'm just bringing you to the end

  270. of this year, and I'm using this little offering to

  271. prick up some things in your heart.

  272. I'm using this moment.

  273. To make you search your heart, he said, because you

  274. think it's about one hundred dollars, and I asked you

  275. to get at one hundred dollars to test your obedience,

  276. because there's about sixteen other areas that I've asked you

  277. to be obedient in and you're still fighting. What's truly

  278. value book, Your.

  279. Obedience is better than your what And for so many

  280. years we thought what we did for.

  281. God and how we showed up for God, and how He.

  282. Showed up for his church is what he wanted most.

  283. And I came here to tell you that if you

  284. don't give a dollar in this offering, would you please

  285. give your obedience to God. I'm coming to set the

  286. precedents forget any amount of money, a credit card swipe

  287. do it? Would you please just obey him because on

  288. the scaling system of Heaven, that weighs way more.

  289. Do y'all hear what I'm saying to you right now?

  290. Okay, So the title of today's message is very simple

  291. and it's going to come from my burden to do

  292. what Exodus eighteen twenty tells me. The Bible tells me

  293. that my job as your pastor is to teach you

  294. the way that you must walk and the work you

  295. must do.

  296. The way you must walk and the work.

  297. You must do, so that means we gotta be moving

  298. and we gotta be working. So right there, if this

  299. year you have not been walking in the way of Christ,

  300. and you have not been doing any work in the

  301. name of Christ, this is where I'm inviting you into

  302. this story. My job is to help you walk and

  303. to know which way that we're going. That's why Exodus

  304. eighteen twenty you can look at it. Teach them his

  305. decrees and instructions and show them the way they are

  306. to live and how they are to behave. So that's

  307. why today I'm going to anchor this scripture in Matthew

  308. chapter twenty six. And if y'all would just give me

  309. just a few minutes to walk you down this, we're

  310. going to actually get to a place that I think

  311. is going to change our faith forever. Matthew twenty six,

  312. verse six. It says, while Jesus was in Bethany, in

  313. a home. In the home of Simon the Leper, a

  314. woman came in with an alabaster jar, a very expensive perfume,

  315. which she poured on Jesus's head as he was reclining

  316. at the table. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant.

  317. Why are you wasting all of this on that this

  318. perfume could have been sold at.

  319. A high price, and the money given to the poor.

  320. Jesus said, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill. Aware

  321. of this, Jesus said to them, why are you bothering

  322. this woman?

  323. She has done a beautiful thing to me.

  324. The poor you will have with you always, but you

  325. won't have me always. When she poured this perfume on

  326. my body, you didn't understand what she was doing. She

  327. did get it to prepare me for my burial. Truly,

  328. I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the

  329. entire world, what this woman just did in this room

  330. with y'all sitting around, will also be told in memory

  331. of not God, in me of her. Today, I am

  332. fulfilling the prophecy of Jesus that he gave to them

  333. in this room. I am talking about a woman who

  334. actually gave in an extravagant way, a sacrificial way, in

  335. the midst of people who did not think that it

  336. was saying you could have said it might have been crazy.

  337. But God literally stops them and says, hey, I don't

  338. think y'all recognize y'all been walking with me, but you

  339. not actually doing what I'm asking you to do. This

  340. woman did something to prepare me for what she don't

  341. even know is gonna happen. I've been telling y'all, I'm

  342. gonna die. I've been telling y'all I'm about to go

  343. be crucified for the sins of word.

  344. Y'all still don't believe me.

  345. So God had to call in somebody else from the

  346. outside who would obey. I want you to see this story.

  347. This woman is going to obey God in the midst

  348. of people who call themselves believers, in the midst of

  349. people who have seen all type of miracles. Mary wasn't

  350. there when the fish were multiple applied to feed.

  351. Twenty five thousand. She wasn't there when all.

  352. Of these different miracles have The disciples.

  353. Were there, and yet they.

  354. Were close to Jesus but still did not have generosity

  355. that looked like him. They were close, but so far,

  356. And I don't want us to be a church that

  357. is close. But we're so far because we haven't developed

  358. the heart of this woman that we're talking about today. Today,

  359. I found out in this story, this beautiful woman, it

  360. was more about her heart and what God was doing

  361. in her than what God did with what she had.

  362. This exchange was about more than money. So today the

  363. title of my sermon is more than money. I just

  364. want to make sure that everybody knows that what we're

  365. doing today is about more than money, because God would

  366. never require it unless people had certain amounts and different levels.

  367. He said, this is more. This ain't about money. Money's

  368. a tool that I'm about to use to expose something

  369. that's greater. This woman found out that God would respond

  370. differently when we actually listen to his heart. Think about

  371. this woman, Think about her for one second. The Bible

  372. tells us. Sometimes we don't read the Bible. For the

  373. Bible tells us she brings in an oil to this

  374. dinner party worth a year's worth of wages. Let's not

  375. theologically go down the road of how much that actually was.

  376. Let's just use your money. Waking up every morning going

  377. to that job, whatever it is, whether you like it

  378. or you're not, on your own business, come and thrive

  379. and booming.

  380. Let's just take.

  381. Everything you made since January first, last year, all the

  382. way to this year, put it in some type of

  383. container that is liquid, and take it to somebody that

  384. you've heard does miracles and that you've seen in a

  385. different way, and then pour out.

  386. The entire thing. How long did it take to make

  387. and how long did it take to pour out? It

  388. took a year.

  389. To make and a minute to pour out. Just think

  390. about it. She's literally watching days, hours, minutes be poured

  391. out for the cause of Christ. Now, most of us,

  392. let's be honest, would have had the same reaction as

  393. the Disciples. What no, bro, bro, you know, we don't mention.

  394. You know, we stand from airbnb to airbnb in all these.

  395. Cities, you know.

  396. I mean, he just asked us a few days a

  397. going to feed five thousand plus they baby, mama and

  398. they kids. We could have used this much, I mean,

  399. at least we could have used it for the poor.

  400. There's some other way that would make more sense to

  401. me for this money to be used than for the

  402. cause of Christ. And I know this is hard for

  403. us to understand, but this is the text of the day.

  404. This woman pours out a year's worth of wages, on Jesus,

  405. why you giving that money to that church? On Jesus,

  406. nobody asks you why you're giving money to cable. I

  407. have never had one person ask me why I'm paying

  408. my AT and T bill. Not one time have anybody

  409. ever had been you paying your mortgage your mortgage that money.

  410. Could be saved and given to the poor.

  411. Not one person has ever told me not to take

  412. my family on a vacation. They actually what an active father,

  413. whether they look at him up there just doing. But

  414. it's so crazy that anytime we get ready.

  415. To give and extend our faith.

  416. And I'm saying it very broad because some of y'all

  417. feel this way, like I'm trying to keep it real

  418. general and let the conviction of the Holy Spirit hit

  419. you wherever it may. Because the truth of the matter,

  420. if some of us have already decided in our heart

  421. for God, for this church, for more lights.

  422. That's probably going for passing Mike's suit.

  423. Oh yeah, he wearing that suit. I bet my five

  424. dollars you ain't paid.

  425. For nothing on me, period.

  426. And nomen I know.

  427. I'm just sure. I'm trying to help you. I got

  428. a job just like you do. This is my job,

  429. and I don't get paid enough of this.

  430. I'm gonna tell you that, I.

  431. Just this is a calling.

  432. This is about more than money. So when I come

  433. and God requires something of me, why is it at

  434. that moment that the enemy tries to remind you how

  435. much you can do with the money you about to

  436. give to God. The enemy never reminded me when I

  437. was doing things that I wasn't supposed to do with money.

  438. How much money you spent on things that help you sin?

  439. How many hotels? How many many bottles, how many club appearances,

  440. how many outfits? How many panty hose? Let me stop,

  441. let me stop? How how many peel prescriptions? How many

  442. how many come on y'all? How how many? How many

  443. videos and movies and subscriptions, and how many things? At

  444. that moment, nobody's like you should take that money and

  445. give it to the poor. Some of us have five cars.

  446. Ain't nothing wrong with five.

  447. Cars, but you haven't given one of them awaerever.

  448. Oh, it just got tight. I just I just I just.

  449. Felt it was wrong.

  450. Motherfuck came. My daddy gave me a car, and no, no,

  451. no no. And there was one time when you said, God,

  452. if you would ever bless me, I'd obey you. I

  453. do what you said we do. And it's somehow that

  454. when we get to that place, somehow those thoughts mixed

  455. with these actions never materialize in generosity. Because there are

  456. four things that I found in this story that were

  457. more valuable to God than money. I'm gonna give you

  458. all four of them. The first thing that God values

  459. more than money is your heart posture. This woman had

  460. a heart posture that was ready to give to God,

  461. even if it meant that it was everything she had.

  462. This heart posture made other people that were around her

  463. think that she was crazy. And this is where Matthew

  464. six point twenty one comes in. It says, for where

  465. the treasure is, your heart will be Also. Can I

  466. just tell you your money and your heart have a

  467. GPS tracking system on them. Wherever you put your money,

  468. your heart goes to that place.

  469. Some of you are wearing your heart today, and.

  470. If somebody's spilt coffee on your heart, you would act

  471. out a character. There would be no Christ's love in

  472. you because they got some coffee on what you spent

  473. money on some of you. Your home is your heart.

  474. Everything pristine in there, don't matter if we're not talking.

  475. This house is nice, okay stuff some people. Our heart

  476. is in our children, Our heart is in our vacations.

  477. Our heart is in I don't I don't know what

  478. it is. But wherever your heart is, watch this. There

  479. is money there. Show me where you put your money.

  480. You care about it? Yah, think about it?

  481. Well, you know I don't.

  482. I don't splurgsh like this often. Come on, we know

  483. what we tell ourselves. I don't do this but once

  484. a year. But I know when the cell is coming.

  485. Y'all know what I'm talking. Y'all see you, Mama, Chloe,

  486. I see you over there. I know when the cell

  487. is coming. And I don't do this often. Why Because

  488. there's something we value. Do you know what God values

  489. more than money? The right heart posture. And this is

  490. the thing about I need everybody to hear me. This

  491. is the thing about money is God is not in

  492. a competition with money. And so he tells you one

  493. of them is going to be your God, him or

  494. the money. He literally tells you he doesn't compare himself

  495. to anything else in the Bible except the spirit of Man,

  496. which is the spirit that tells you if you have

  497. more resource than you won't need God. And about ten

  498. years ago I had to actually confess to myself, I

  499. believe that I believe if I had enough m's in

  500. the bank, these prayers is cool, but I could just

  501. solve the issues. It's gonna be lonely up here today

  502. because some of y'all right now, at that thirty five

  503. fifty thousand, sixty thousand dollar job, you'd be like, if

  504. you gave me.

  505. Three MS, we don't got to pray about it.

  506. I'm gonna solve that problem. I'm gonna solve that problem.

  507. But I have the opportunity to counsel people with money,

  508. and I'm here to report back.

  509. Just in case you don't know that there are things

  510. that money cannot solve. If you have greed in your heart.

  511. That won't make you take out of your own children's

  512. mouth to prove a point, even when you have so much.

  513. I'm telling you what I know, not what I think.

  514. And that's why God is like, hey, I want your

  515. heart to be that watch this of a manager, not

  516. an owner.

  517. The problem with believers is.

  518. You think that you own what you have instead of

  519. being a manager.

  520. But you can go back to the story of.

  521. The talents when they got one, two, five, all of

  522. them were gifts to them. They did not work for them.

  523. This is what God says, I give you the ability

  524. to produce wealth, and somehow when we produce it, now

  525. it's mine. And God says, hey, something that I value

  526. more than money. I'm fine with you having money, I'm

  527. fine with you being blessed. I'm fining with you balling.

  528. But something I value more than the money is your

  529. right heart posture. And this young lady had the heart

  530. posture that literally said, I know I've worked this entire

  531. year in this culture of male chauvinism. Because you got

  532. to remember the culture of this time. The only reason

  533. she would have status is because she had money. Because

  534. in this society, women were not at the same level

  535. as men. So literally for her to come into the room,

  536. the only reason they probably didn't stop her is because

  537. they saw she carrying stacks like that.

  538. They trying to see what's about to happen, and it

  539. was watch this.

  540. Watch what money is in most cultures and in today

  541. it's significance. She was willing to pour out her significance

  542. for the cause of Christ. Y'all didn't hear what I

  543. just said. This is why God values a heart posture

  544. more than he values money, because watch what a heart

  545. posture exposes trust when you have the right heart posture.

  546. We just sang all these songs about trust in God, and.

  547. Then you get to do it.

  548. And when it comes time to do it, it's like, Lord,

  549. would you please send another way? But the Bible tells

  550. us that we are supposed to in Proverbs three five.

  551. Trust in the Lord with all our hearts.

  552. Listen to the second part and lean not to our

  553. own under this.

  554. Don't make it. This is crazy.

  555. Why you would ask me to step out and do

  556. something like this in this moment of faith? God, this

  557. is crazy. But my heart is postured towards you. So

  558. even though this hurts, I'm aa be obedient. Even though

  559. this doesn't make sense, I'm gonna be obedient. Watch this,

  560. even though I'm young. I'm gonna be obedient. Young people

  561. under the age of eighteen. Just because you do not

  562. have a full time job doing all these other things,

  563. God gives you wealth. He many times gives you things

  564. through the things that you get through the things. Why

  565. are you telling me this, pastor, Mike, Because I learned

  566. my first gift of over one thousand dollars was at

  567. the age of seventeen, and I was using what God

  568. had given me to play drums to make money.

  569. And I was doing all of this stuff and one day.

  570. God topped tapped on my shoulder and said, hey, Mike,

  571. is that yours or is it mine?

  572. I said it is mine. Oh, y'all gonna be faked

  573. with me real quick. It's mine.

  574. It's all mine, and the Holy Spirit, that's fine, keep it.

  575. And then he started to slowly introduce me to the

  576. concept of generosity. And I remember sitting in prophetic age

  577. ministry conferences and my parents' prayer conferences, and at Greenwood

  578. Christian Center. I remember going to see Miles Munroe and

  579. him asking, Hey, is there anybody here that believes that

  580. God has called them.

  581. To be generous and finances?

  582. And I raised my hand and he was like, well,

  583. you need to pray and ask God to sow and

  584. then I'll put my hand down and go to the bathroom.

  585. Can I be.

  586. Honest with you, because the truth of the matter is

  587. I trusted what was in my account more than what

  588. was in my heart. Can I say how I feel it?

  589. I trusted the God in my account more than the

  590. God that was in my heart. And today I don't

  591. know if that's your scenario, but I need you to

  592. take inventory. Do you trust the God in your account

  593. or the God in your heart? And this woman right here,

  594. she had a heart postured towards God.

  595. Why is this important?

  596. Because I'm going to give you a formula right now,

  597. and I want you to write it down and never

  598. forget it. Posture leads to principles. If you have a

  599. right posture on something, then you will embrace the principles

  600. that help your heart stay in that place. If you

  601. have the right principles, you develop the right pattern and

  602. then you'll do it consistently. And when you get the

  603. right pattern, then you develop power. And most people, the

  604. power that God wants you to have is not there

  605. because you haven't postured your heart to receive what He

  606. has for you.

  607. So he says, posture your heart to trust me.

  608. And once you posture your heart to trust me, then

  609. I will get you into a place where you embrace

  610. my principles. That's why I'm teaching you about this. That's

  611. why in March we're gonna do a series about stewardship

  612. and finances and generosity, and we're not gonna ask you

  613. to give anything in that series because I want you

  614. to just understand the concepts, the principles so that you

  615. can actually believe God and faith for what He can

  616. do in your life. I don't want you to be

  617. giving because of compulsion and manipulation. If you feel any

  618. of that, please do not give anything. Go to God

  619. and pray. We told you about this eight weeks ago.

  620. This is if you just hearing about it because you've

  621. been not at church. And this is what I'm saying

  622. to you is I want you to know that's not

  623. our heart. Our heart is to give you time to pray,

  624. to think, to ask God to wrestle within yourself, because

  625. at the end of the day, He's saying this principle

  626. is all throughout the Word, and if you don't practice it,

  627. you'll lose power. No one can serve two masters. They

  628. will either love one and hate the other, or hate

  629. one and love the other. And today I know that

  630. you want to remodel your back porch. Guys, come on, y'all,

  631. I know you've been planning to get a new car

  632. because it's about to be cold and the heat is

  633. real mid But I'm asking you, have you even considered

  634. that God may be requiring something from you. This woman

  635. had the right heart posture, and because she had the

  636. right posture, but she did the right thing. The second thing,

  637. God values more than money, values your sacrifice more than

  638. he values your money. This is the reason I want

  639. to say this is because a lot of people think

  640. that everything you give is a sacrifice and it ain't.

  641. Oh God, does anybody remember being broken college?

  642. Okay? Come like okay?

  643. Anybody remember? So for you to get like a good

  644. cooked meal when you was in college, that was different

  645. because you really had to go to somebody's house. Somebody

  646. had to invite you over that had to be something,

  647. or you came home and somebody cooked a meal for you.

  648. And that was more valuable in college than it is

  649. today for most people, because right now you can hit

  650. a button and uber eat something and something good will

  651. be at your house within forty five minutes. What I'm

  652. trying to say to you is there are things that

  653. may have been costly in one season that because of

  654. the blessing of God doesn't cost you nothing, no more,

  655. and you are counting it as an equal sacrifice because

  656. it's the same actual act.

  657. And it's not the same.

  658. Sacrifice because you don't feel it as much because you're

  659. more blessed. So you okay, I don't know how else

  660. to say. This is anybody tracking with me right now?

  661. Y'all doesn't look at me like I was giving you

  662. doctor suits.

  663. You is like hem I am sam jam am. Okay,

  664. I'm gonna break it down. In one season of your life,

  665. giving fifty dollars to somebody would have been astronomical because

  666. you only had a hundred.

  667. Where's my church today, boy, I'm talking about y'all looking

  668. at me crazy. It's fine. I'm gonna keep going.

  669. Then you prayed, then you asked God to use your gifts.

  670. Then you got that degree, and now to give fifty dollars,

  671. you'll give that when your kids go to spend the

  672. night at their friend's house for the weekend.

  673. Here, don't call me, just here. What used to take

  674. prayer for you.

  675. To give away doesn't even take a thought. But then

  676. when God asked you for someone, it's like, we're gonna give.

  677. I'm gonna get a fifty no sacrifice because he expanded

  678. your capacity. So the thing that I've realized as we're

  679. talking about value is value is not based on what

  680. you give. It's what you give in correlation with what

  681. you have. There was a season of my life that

  682. what I gave it was so valuable because of what

  683. I had, or I could say like what I.

  684. Didn't have, I didn't have a lot, So it cost

  685. a lot.

  686. To give this.

  687. And this is why so many people are actually.

  688. In a place where they are working against the work

  689. God wants to do in them because they forgot about

  690. the promises they made to God. You told him God,

  691. I will always serve you, I'll always honor you.

  692. I'll give what you tell me to give.

  693. And giving half of one hundred thousand, it's different than

  694. giving a half of a hundred if your heart is

  695. not postured right because everybody has a number, that's like ooh, even.

  696. Though it's the same thing. If all you got is

  697. one hundred dollars and God ask you for fifty, you

  698. give it.

  699. Hold God make way be the God that gets me

  700. through this red seat.

  701. Lord, I'm trusting and I'm saying my fullly because you man, you.

  702. Move no, dude, I'm saying, we start praying, we start,

  703. and then God gave you a job in the contract

  704. that you made one hundred thousand this year, he said,

  705. give me fifty thousand. Hold on, wait a minute, wait, wait,

  706. hold up, God, do you know what I could do

  707. with fifty thousand, he said, exactly, there's no more sacrifice.

  708. And what we reason that ten is good.

  709. Ten is good. Last year, I get fifty dollars, but

  710. it didn't cost the same.

  711. Oh God, I got The reason why this woman goes

  712. down in the Hall of Fame of generosity is because

  713. of how much it costs compared to what she had.

  714. And everybody wants to always talk about tithing and it's

  715. Old testamenty and it's Old Testament and.

  716. Giving ten percent.

  717. Y'all better embrace tithing because everywhere in the New Covenant

  718. they ask for all of it.

  719. In the Old Testament, they like, just get ten.

  720. Percent, Just get ten percent, Just get ten percent. Everybody,

  721. just get ten percent.

  722. If you just get ten percent.

  723. In the New she poured out on Jesus her entire

  724. year worth the work. You're talking about ten percent. And

  725. God's like, hey, the Covenant didn't come to abolish it.

  726. It came to confirm it, and some people watch this

  727. will never get to experience what it's like to live

  728. at the level of God's provision because they will never

  729. release what's in their hand. There are some things.

  730. That God only supplies when.

  731. You let go of what He's already supplied. He's asking

  732. you to trade hands. Trust me, I give seed to

  733. the one who will actually And that's why this woman

  734. gets Jesus's attention because she did not so based on

  735. a percentage. She gave it all. Pastor Mike, what are

  736. you saying to me? This opportunity to give is not

  737. equal amounts, but equal sacrifice.

  738. I may be given only.

  739. Five dollars, fine, but what God is looking at is

  740. was that a sacrifice based on what I gave you

  741. and what I told you. How do we know this,

  742. Pastor Mike, because you can go study Luke twenty one

  743. with a woman with two mites. She had two mites.

  744. This was a fraction of a penny in today's society.

  745. And this woman walks into the temple when our offering

  746. is going on and all the disciples is making it rain,

  747. and all these Pharisees and Sadducees are stowing money up

  748. in the air, and they bringing bags of coins, and

  749. they're trying to impress Jesus. And the thing he gets

  750. up and is impressed by is a.

  751. Woman who walks in with two mites.

  752. Because the value was not in the amount, it was

  753. in the sacrifice. And she drops the two mites in

  754. and in Luke twenty one, you can go read it,

  755. he says. Everybody, stop, Look what she just did. I

  756. know I don't want to bring no attention to people's

  757. giving and all that other stuff, but I'm about to

  758. do it right now. Look what she didn't get, nothing

  759. but two mites, and you gave a whole bunch, but

  760. she gave out of her Today, Church, I'm inviting you

  761. into the spiritual principle of actually trusting God. How do

  762. you know you trust God is that you actually will

  763. sacrifice and believe that he will do what he said

  764. he was gonna do. I don't gotta back up plan.

  765. I don't got another way that this is gonna happen.

  766. I don't know what's gonna.

  767. Happen tomorrow, but I know who holds tomorrow, and today I'm.

  768. Gonna obey him. What I got in my hands.

  769. Number three, something that God values more than mommy money.

  770. God values memory more than money. See, most people don't

  771. realize the context of where this story sits. Does anybody

  772. know who Mary's brother is? Who's Mary's brother rus? In

  773. just a few chapters earlier, Mary is crying out for

  774. Jesus to come because her brother is dead. Jesus does

  775. not come at the time. He's trying to prove a point,

  776. and so he lets Lazarus die. They wrap him up

  777. in the grave clothes, and they literally are doing the

  778. celebration when Jesus walks.

  779. Up and he says, why, why y'all what I miss?

  780. And they said, Lazarus, we call for you. If you

  781. had been.

  782. Here, this is the same woman. If you had been here, Jesus,

  783. we say, you do miracles. If you would have been here,

  784. he would be alive.

  785. Watch her faith.

  786. But even now he's dead, he's wrapped up.

  787. They're singing the funeral songs.

  788. But even now, if you decide you want to do

  789. a miracle in this, I feel my help coming off.

  790. Somebody say, even now now, even I'm looking at the

  791. bills at the end.

  792. Of this month. But even now, even as I'm sitting here.

  793. Trying to figure out my emotions in the midst of

  794. this situation. Even now, if you decide you want to

  795. do something in the situation, I have the faith to

  796. believe you. Somebody shot at me even now, saying with

  797. faith even now, Mary remembered because she was there, emotionally

  798. drained from crying for four days and still using the

  799. little mustard seed of faith that she had left to say, God,

  800. I know you can still do a miracle.

  801. And she showed, she shows us how to soul what

  802. she has left.

  803. She sold in that moment what she had left, which

  804. was her faith in God. That's all she had. So

  805. we thought, because at this same moment, that jar of

  806. oil was sitting at her home, at that same moment,

  807. she had something accruing in the background that she watches

  808. Jesus bring her brother back to life, turn up party,

  809. celebrate Lizy, Lizzy lazy back e sad like we're turning

  810. up because my brother once was dead. Not yet. She

  811. could have celebrated in that whole moment and not said

  812. this requires a response. See, we think the shouting is

  813. a response. We think the clapping is a response. So

  814. I came to church to day, and I gave God

  815. everything he deserved. That made you feel better. You've been

  816. depressed all week. Lifting your hands in worshiping God.

  817. It did something in you. Did you really give God

  818. what he asked for?

  819. Some days later, this woman finds out there's a dinner.

  820. We don't know theologically if she was even invited, but

  821. she said, this is my opportunity. I don't know how

  822. much longer we have him, because he keeps telling us

  823. that he's going to prepare a place for us. And

  824. I don't know what that fully means right now, but

  825. I know that I have an unction in my heart

  826. to pour out what I have, not just in an

  827. ethereal mode. I want to do something practical. She walks

  828. into this room, thinking they are going to stone me.

  829. This is not protocol, and every step of fear, she said,

  830. but I remember, I remember where God brought me from

  831. the Bible tells us watch this. Lazarus is sitting at

  832. the table. So anytime she was about to doubt one,

  833. she just looked at her brother, laughing and eating and

  834. praising and.

  835. Said, I got to do what God told me to do.

  836. I don't care how this looks to y'all, I don't

  837. care if this doesn't make sense to you.

  838. This may think, this may make you think I'm crazy,

  839. but I'm about to pour out this oil.

  840. I'm gonna break my alabaster box on the one who

  841. actually gave everything for me. And I'm just challenging y'all

  842. man to remember the one who gave everything for you.

  843. How much would your salvation cost? None of onll for real,

  844. like if people had to pay two point five million

  845. dollars for salvation. I just want you to think about it,

  846. like you would work your whole life to know you

  847. made it to Heaven. You were forsake trips and visits

  848. you and God said, I love the world so much

  849. that I demonstrated this act of generosity. He loved the

  850. world so much he did what Dad.

  851. I'm gonna show you what love looks like.

  852. It looks like sacrificial generosity.

  853. Oh sacrifice.

  854. I was the lamb that was slain before the foundations

  855. of the world for while you were yet sinners. I

  856. went to become a sacrifice for you and your children

  857. and your mistakes and your mess ups and your hurts

  858. and your pains and your trauma and your drenchers I

  859. went to do it all. And all I'm asking you

  860. to do is when I speak to you, with what

  861. I've already given you, would you be able to make

  862. a sacrifice for me? And it's not for him, it's

  863. for the other children that don't know the sacrifice that

  864. He's made. The reason why God asks us to give

  865. to the churches because the church is supposed to be

  866. an extension of His hands and feet to the world.

  867. And I am sorry that some men and women have

  868. gotten in these positions and manipulated and abused and misused

  869. people's resources.

  870. I cannot be responsible for what they have done. But

  871. what I can.

  872. Stand here is it in is in full transparency and

  873. purity that since God has blessed this church, excuse me,

  874. before He blessed this church, we have been sowing seeds

  875. into the community, into people's personal lives. It would take

  876. us all day to go through the testimony of how

  877. we have been the hands and feet, how we have

  878. been the hands and feet when a hurricane go to Jamaica.

  879. Money's sitting before y'all even get to church. When somebody

  880. is in a place of need. We have been doing

  881. stuff for years. The reason I'm telling you this and

  882. not making it a PowerPoint presentation because I don't want

  883. you to be I don't want you to be compelled

  884. to give because you see it's a good cause. Now,

  885. because I could convince you this is a good investment.

  886. It doesn't take faith to give in a good investment

  887. that you know you're getting a return on. It takes

  888. faith to obey God at his word. Were just saying

  889. that just to take him at his word, And most

  890. people won't trust God at his word. And I know

  891. this starts to bother the things on the inside of us,

  892. and we start to say, passing, how you're doing it.

  893. I'm coming and I'm on your side too. I'm appreciing

  894. it's just one step ahead of you. I had to

  895. go back and say, God, why am I giving? Why

  896. are you requiring this of me? I'm trying to figure

  897. out what I'm doing for my son's schooling, and I'm

  898. trying to figure out what I'm doing with this. God

  899. can use money in a lot of different areas. Why

  900. are you requiring this to me? He said, Because this

  901. is about more than money. This is about your heart posture,

  902. This is about your trust in me. This is about

  903. your sacrifice. This is about your memory and the last

  904. thing it's about. This is the last one, and we're

  905. going to give, he said, Michael, when you actually trust

  906. me with your finances, you got to realize that God

  907. values eternity more than he values money.

  908. Eternity.

  909. See, the thing that you got to realize is that

  910. when we give to God's house, it shows that we

  911. value eternity more than we value this present day. And

  912. I know this is stuff we don't talk about because

  913. anytime we think about he tnity, most people go to death.

  914. And I would like to tell you at some point

  915. in your journey, you're gonna die. No, I just need

  916. everybody to hear me say this in church.

  917. The one thing Aby's.

  918. Death.

  919. And then there's another thing you're gonna experience.

  920. You're gonna stand before God, and the Bible says there

  921. will be a book and books.

  922. I just want to paint this picture. And I know

  923. some people gotta.

  924. Leave, but please don't miss the revelation that God's given you.

  925. There will be a book that there will be names

  926. written in of people who accepted Jesus, and then there

  927. will be books. Watch this this book you get in

  928. by grace, feel free if you believe, the books are

  929. a record of every work that you did on earth.

  930. And I know people don't talk about this because they

  931. was like free gift of God. Salvation is Salvation is

  932. definitely to get in the book free confess belief, God says.

  933. But after salvation, you're supposed to help the calls. Don't

  934. rep the jersey and not play. You got the jersey on, you.

  935. Got the practice warm up, you got the bumple sticker,

  936. and you won't play.

  937. He said, I need you to start being recorded in

  938. what you do in this earth because eternity matters. That's

  939. why God told us that we were a church that

  940. was called to the lost and the found for one reason.

  941. What is it transformation in Christ. And until you remember

  942. who you were, you forget that your memory.

  943. Is your motor for generosity. Some of y'all just need

  944. to think about your memory. If you would just.

  945. Think about where you were, how broken your family was,

  946. which greed was in your heart, how many relationships you

  947. would have destroyed if God would have outed you in

  948. that season. What you won't find is that the grace

  949. of God has covered you every step of the way.

  950. And what I'm telling you right now is that God saying,

  951. would you just remember for a second, you have a

  952. reason to be generous Matthew six nineteen, because God values

  953. eternity more than he does money. He tells us this,

  954. do not store up for yourselves treasures here on earth,

  955. where moss and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in

  956. and stel, but store up for yourselves. What does this say?

  957. Treasures in heaven where nothing can still or destroy it,

  958. where thieves don't break in and stell for, where your

  959. treasure is your heart will be also Transformation Church. I'm

  960. here to tell you that because of your generosity and consistency,

  961. tidening and giving, because of that, we've stored up our

  962. treasures in heaven because they're earthen vessels. And yes, we

  963. trust this house and the stewardship, and we've been audited

  964. and we get audited every year, and we make sure

  965. that we do all of the practical stuff to make

  966. sure that if anything was ever assumed about us, we're

  967. gonna open up the books. We have people who have

  968. been here with us for over twenty years making sure

  969. that things are above board and have been done in excellence.

  970. We're not just trying to represent in the things that

  971. people see, we're trying to represent in the things that

  972. they don't see. And there's no way for me to

  973. tell you that except to just tell you that. And

  974. for where most people would be like, well, I don't care.

  975. In the church this, God's gonna do what he's gonna

  976. do in this church period. It has been proven over

  977. decades God has provided for his church, and I am grateful.

  978. The thing that I'm trying to do as a pastor

  979. is lead you into the thought that this is about

  980. more than money. You can buy a new Gucci belt,

  981. and have a new Ermes purse, and get you a

  982. new car and all those different things and made no

  983. eternal impact. Those things will not be counted When God

  984. asked us, what did we do with what I gave

  985. you seventy years? If we're lucky, everybody over the age

  986. of seventy, raise your hands in here. Seventy or early,

  987. can we thank God for longevity?

  988. There was less than fifty hands.

  989. I want you to I want you to see how

  990. fragile and how blessed y'all are less than fifty hands

  991. in a room full of thousands of people.

  992. And every day, every moment, every hour, every dollar, God

  993. saying what you do with what I gave you? We

  994. decided to be a church that cared about eternity, that's why.

  995. So what that equated to is that every dollar that

  996. comes in automatically ten percent of it gone. The team

  997. knows ten percent of everything that comes in.

  998. Do you know some.

  999. Churches don't subscribe to taking a tenth of what they

1000. give what they get and give it away. And I'm

1001. not judging anybody. I just told the team that we

1002. could not expect any person do to do what the

1003. church don't do immediately. And so it's been over a

1004. decade of us just ten dollars come in, dollar gone.

1005. This is how we were able to give conference away

1006. for free this year. Do you know how many people? Yeah,

1007. y'all gotta hear me say this. This is how we've

1008. been able to give millions of nonprofits and organization this

1009. year along we've given away one point eight million dollars

1010. to people outset. Y'all don't know when to praise.

  1011. Almost two.

1012. All right, And I know for some of y'all's just money.

  1013. It's a heart posture. I can't tell you how many

1014. times I've looked at Tammy and been like, Oh, we

1015. gotta keep doing what we said. Huh, we gotta keep

1016. we gotta keep obeying God right because we could really

1017. just you know, invest that we could really and how

1018. in the world what I stand before.

1019. You as a people and say God.

1020. Has given us so much, we gotta stay consistent in

1021. our faith. So today I just want to take all

1022. the pressure off and I want you to go to

1023. heart posture like this woman married. She was giving Jesus

1024. something that other people thought was crazy. Here I am,

1025. as your pastor to tell you, somebody is gonna think

1026. it's crazy for you to do what you feel like

1027. God's called you to do, but Jesus is going to

1028. recognize it as a sacrificial obedience step that's going to

1029. change the trajectory of your life this year because of

1030. the generosity of people who think eternity is important. Let

1031. me tell you how many people's lives have been transformed

1032. in Christ to date. Get ready to shout fifteen thousand,

1033. nine hundred and forty five salvations because we.

  1034. Care about eternity.

  1035. Glory to God. That's somebody's son, that's somebody's daughter, that's

  1036. somebody's mother, that's somebody's father, that's somebody's cousin. Do you

1037. know how many churches we help keep their doors open,

1038. how many people we help to believe? Pastor mic is

1039. it that important eternity is and people knowing that God

1040. cares about them? Today, I wanted to as you prepare

1041. to give, some of you have already decided that you're

1042. gonna give, if you have not been open to it

1043. to this point, I just want to ask you to pray.

1044. I'm not gonna tell you no amounts. I'm not gonna

1045. tell you nothing because it doesn't matter. Remember, it's not amounts,

1046. its obedience. And I know the people who have already decided.

1047. There's thousands of us that decided everything I have is yours, God,

1048. and I trust you. And there's some people that are

1049. about to take a step for the first time. And

1050. I'm so excited for you because what's about to happen

1051. is you're about to watch this interrupt the generational cycle.

1052. Some of you are about to interrupt the generational cycle

1053. of lack and greed. You're about to interrupt the generational

1054. cycle of fear. You're about to interrupt the generational cycle

1055. of believing that this actually gives significance when only God can. Today,

1056. I just it's been so heavy on my heart because

1057. a lot of people. I'm gonna just be real with y'all.

  1058. There's a day I'm believing God for and I'm just

1059. gonna throw the vision out here. Is not Vision month yet,

1060. but I'm gonna just throw the vision out here. I'm

1061. asking God to bless people so abundantly with the heart

1062. of generosity that there are certain things we can't do

1063. as a church legally to meet people's needs through this organization.

1064. I've tried. I've done all kinds of things, and we

1065. didn't talk to every tax professional everything. Because me, I

1066. see somebody needs a house, I want to go buy

1067. my house. That that's me. And people who are close

1068. to me understand, somebody needs a car, Let's go buy

1069. them a car like I'm not. I'll give them my car.

  1070. I'll find a car like that's me. I have not

1071. been able to find many brothers and sisters that work

1072. on that same level of generosity. And I've dreamed and

1073. I've talked to some people close to me. I want

1074. God to bless your endeavor and your business and your

1075. money and your household. But it not be tainted by greed,

1076. so that we can come together over coffee and say,

1077. this year were not given. We're giving our money that

1078. God told us to give to the church. But we

1079. also add another put whatever number on it you can

1080. think of, and me and you and that person in

1081. this person, and gonna put money in the bank together,

1082. and we're gonna create a board of people who when

1083. people just have needs, the church will call us. I

1084. gotta throw it out there because I gotta find my people.

1085. The church will be fine. But Sally needs a car,

1086. and we know the car dealership. Wire them twenty thousand,

1087. get him the car, get him the title, get them

1088. the insurance for a year, put them in financial classes.

1089. I need somebody not to just want the church to

1090. do it, but to step up and be the church.

  1091. Who will you it.

1092. You want to develop houses, Let's build them. They need food,

1093. Let's get a grocery store. But God can't trust us

1094. with the He can't trust us with the basic matters.

1095. Keep trying to steal something from us when he's the

1096. one who gave us everything in the first place. This

1097. week I heard about an organization. It tapped my heart

1098. because this has been at me for so long. This

1099. week I heard about an organization who, as one of

1100. the last survivors of the nineteen twenty one race massacre,

1101. just went on to be with the Lord this song.

1102. And if you don't know about what to happen in

1103. Tulsa in nineteen twenty one, I need you to study

1104. it because it's history they're trying to.

1105. Take away from our country.

1106. But it really happened. It's one of the most affluent

1107. African American metropolitan areas in the world. And literally one thousand,

1108. two hundred and fifty six homes were burnt to the ground.

1109. Did you hear what I just said? One thousand, two

1110. hundred and fifty six homes were burnt to the ground

1111. less than twenty miles away from here, less than one

1112. mile from where our church was founded. And God told

1113. us to come here through Bishop and PASSADEBBI and reverse

1114. the curse. They told us to come here and reverse

1115. the curse. How do you reverse something without any resources.

  1116. We'll just pray.

  1117. We pray.

1118. You can't build a house with just prayer.

1119. Ne Amiah had to pray and work Leamyah to rebuild

1120. the wall. They needed materials. Leamyah had to believe God, but.

  1121. I can't come down.

1122. There was work happening and somebody had to pay for it.

1123. And it's like this idealistic thing like the church should

  1124. do the.

1125. Most with nothing, call on God.

1126. We give all our money to everything else, but if

1127. God requires anything. Somebody trying to steal from you. And

1128. I heard about this organization that's their goal is to

1129. rebuild and help preserve one thousand, two hundred and fifty

1130. six homes in North Tulsa and they've been doing it

1131. for about three years now. So today, as we're about

1132. to give in generosity to this church, we're gonna give

  1133. to the community that.

1134. God birth this church in So.

1135. One two five to six Movement does a check for

1136. fifty thousand dollars from Transformation Church coming to help you

  1137. continue to reveal.

1138. People that God cares about. Come on, y'all, let's celebrate

  1139. what God is doing.

1140. This This is because that's somebody's daughter and son and

1141. grandmother and more than all that as somebody's child, it's

1142. his child. Me and Bishop made a pact no matter

1143. what God does, we'll never forget about North Tulsa. And

1144. you can check the record. There's been millions of dollars

1145. that this church, even people who have never been to

1146. Tulsa have given back to so sede into the place

1147. God birtht us out of thank you for remembering those

1148. who many people for God, Bishop as a white man

1149. to go back to North Tulsa because God said to

1150. reverse the curse when you could have easily walked away.

1151. I need us to celebrate the crazy faith of our

  1152. founding pastor.

1153. Oh, y'all can do better than that.

1154. Thank you, man and woman of God. We're about to

1155. go stand up all over this place. There's a church

1156. in Dallas who just started. What's that point? I said?

1157. I said, God values memory more than he values money,

1158. saying with me, God values memory more than he values money.

1159. I remember I took my daughters to fifteen nineteen yesterday,

1160. even had a game out there, and I just her

1161. grandparents lived close and we got to pass to go

1162. to their house. I just stopped and told my daughters.

1163. I was like, this is where God started fulfilling promises

1164. to your mommy and daddy that I never thought he

1165. would do. And I said, what was your favorite memory

1166. of being here? And they talking about taking pictures on

1167. the wall and doing all this other stuff, and I

1168. remember walking to that church with no car as the

1169. senior pastor of the church. I remember walking and trying

1170. to walk early enough that none of the congreg gets

1171. thought I was crazy because I was literally why. I

1172. had no car, but I had faith. And I was

1173. sitting there and trying to teach my daughters in this

1174. moment that they don't really they can't really grasp because

1175. it's like, as long as we've known you, Dad, you've

1176. had everything that we've ever needed. I was like, no, guys,

1177. I need you to know that it took faith and

1178. dedication and trust and prayer and agreement to be able

1179. to do what God's called us to do. And God said,

  1180. don't forget that, because there's a church that's believing for

1181. great things right now and they need somebody to believe

1182. in them, like Church on the Move believed in you.

1183. And yesterday, I remember when we were at a place

1184. of growing in our church and they sent over an

1185. outreach pastor from Church on the Move and they gave

1186. us a twenty thousand dollars check. It might as well

1187. been twenty million dollars. No, no, no. The level of faith,

1188. the level of belief the level of you see us

1189. that happened when that check came to our church. It

1190. gave us the fuel to go until this day. And

1191. God said, don't forget. Remember.

1192. And so we found a church in Dallas, Texas.

1193. And the Fort Worth Metroplex that just out their first building,

1194. and we saw that they were online asking anybody to

  1195. help them.

  1196. They needed to raise.

1197. Ten thousand more dollars to be able to do the

1198. finishing touches, to be able to get their people and

1199. occupy that space. Well, I need somebody to call reach

1200. City Church pastor Isaiah and Kelly Williams and tell them

1201. there's a fifty thousand dollar check on the way from

1202. Transformation Church. Because we remember.

1203. Believing God and we steal what sad the fight.

1204. To see His kingdom be built.

1205. Will somebody give God praise.

1206. In this place? Thank you Lord.

1207. We could have very easily got out of this service.

1208. Everybody give let's go home. But God said Michael, as

1209. the leader's your heart posture. I text Tammy and Bres,

1210. now how much do we have left to give away?

1211. I had watched this, Can I be honest? I had

  1212. trepidation texting it.

1213. I felt some type of way because it's like I

1214. gotta step out in faith again, because whatever they say,

  1215. it ain't mine, it ain't the churches, it's God's yesterday.

1216. As over two hundred people feel this place so.

  1217. Families could have Christmas.

1218. All over the world. We packed all.

1219. Kinds of things for people to experience. Do y'all know

  1220. that's because of the.

1221. Generosity of the people that are in this room right

1222. now and some that are all over the world. The

1223. things that we've been able to do is because eternity matters,

1224. and we know that the local church is God's plan

1225. to reconcile humanity. No matter how broken or ugly his

1226. bride is, it's still his girl. I don't know. You

1227. might think it's ugly, but he's crazy about her.

1228. Y'all ever met somebody, I think it was Kevil on

1229. stage said she is pretty to me.

1230. Like It's like like, no matter how broken or messed

1231. up for people abuse it, the bride of Christ is

1232. still the plan for people to meet Jesus. He said,

1233. take care of my bride while I'm gone. And I

1234. heard about a good friend of ours who was stepping

1235. out in twenty twenty six to start a church in

1236. one of the hardest places to start a church in

1237. New York City, prostor Chris Theirs. And there is a

1238. significant seed that I'm believing God to do something in

1239. New York. And God told me that I was supposed

1240. to lead our church in sowing a seed into that

1241. city so that we could see a massive harvest. So

1242. would somebody tells Chris, there're sowing his beautiful wife that

1243. there's a check for one hundred and fifty thousand dollars

1244. coming from transformation to church. Would you celebrate all over

1245. this place? Come on, we want to see New York same.

1246. We want to seek good company. Church actually be everything

1247. that God has called them to be. We're gonna see

1248. a harvest in New York, hear me. But you can't

1249. spect the harvest where we don't sow today because your

1250. internity is more than more important than money today. My

1251. last point is not on the thing. You know what

1252. else is more important than money? You You are more

1253. important than money. So if you're in a place of

1254. a space where you can't even think about stepping into

1255. generosity because your soul has been so disconnected from the

1256. same today, I want to let you know more than

1257. an offering. I want you to have an introduction those

1258. of you have decided to give. We're gonna have a

1259. moment where the worship team is about to come up.

1260. But I feel the presence of God. He's stirring people's

1261. hearts right now. Watch this, not four amounts, but for obedience.

1262. Some of you are gonna walk out of here and

1263. disobey God. And now you've decided, all right, yes, Lord,

1264. there's some young people in this room that's like, my

1265. fifty dollars ain't gonna do nothing. My ten dollars ain't

1266. gonna do nothing. Yes, it will not for the church.

1267. For you, hear me. Some of you are gonna have

1268. to go to your business accounts and some of you

1269. are gonna have to cash in some different things.

1270. Oh, God wouldn't require that.

1271. Listen to me. I don't know how this woman turned

1272. the year's worth of wages into perfume because I don't

1273. know if they pre paying perfume drops.

1274. Y'all ain't thought about it, But this is how I

1275. think about the Bible. Can you pay me in fuman drops?

  1276. I don't think she did that.

1277. I think she exchanged her wages for what she.

1278. Knew she had to pour out, so it took work.

1279. I got to go to the bank tomorrow, your pastor,

1280. I'm saying this. I had to go to go to

1281. the bank tomorrow because I was gonna do something. And

1282. God said that ain't what I said. That ain't what

1283. I said. That's what you felt good with, That ain't

1284. what I said. And when he said it, it was

1285. only thirty more minutes to get to the bank on

1286. a Saturday, and I didn't make it to the bank.

1287. And then I tried to let the excuses of not

1288. making it to the bank on Saturday, well, crazy faith

1289. offering is Sunday. Boy. It felt like God was like, boy,

1290. because I was trying to make an excuse because it

1291. might have taken a little more work to do what

1292. God told me to do, but my obedience is valuable.

1293. At the moment I decided I was gonna do it

1294. in my heart, God said, there it is. It's a

1295. done deal. I told them. I was like, I gotta

1296. go to bank on Monday. Why are you saying this

  1297. to me?

1298. Passing like, because I'm just one step aheady.

1299. Obeying God with you. I haven't figured it all out.

1300. Me and my wife is having to struggle and pray

1301. through and talk through how it's still equal sacrifice. It's

1302. still gotta be equal sacrifice for me. Thank God he

1303. gave me a New York Times bestselling book and thank

1304. God is about to be a movie, and thank God

1305. they re releasing this. Guess what that means?

1306. More sacrifice to whom much is given.

1307. And I'm just asking all the people who are blessed

1308. in here, have you forgotten the sacrifice today? I remember

1309. Gabby today, I remember Carl today, I remember Will today.

1310. I remember that like, it's not about how much I

1311. give it did it cost me anything? Because on the cross,

1312. the New Testament example of Jesus is what did he do?

  1313. He gave everything.

1314. So that you could be saved. What's more important than money?

1315. You So today, if you've never received Jesus, I'm gonna

1316. pray for you. And all I want you to do

1317. is raise your hand if you want to receive Jesus.

1318. Watching online, watching in the correctional facility.

1319. Oh can I tell you a testimony? Because, oh my god,

1320. I just got excited because of the generosity of Transformation Church.

1321. About three years ago, we decided to partner with God

1322. behind bars to actually give money to them, actually getting

1323. iPads in the correctional facilities and so that they can

1324. watch information church in jail. We have seen this year,

1325. just this year, just this year, we've seen over eighty

1326. nine hundred salvations in the penitentsary.

1327. Can we get y'all, don't go in a shout man, Hey, thousand,

  1328. nine hundred people.

1329. Have given their life to Quice. How many more iPads

1330. can we give? How many more sons and daughters can

1331. be reached? How many more parents will their prayers will

1332. be answered because of a message that was preached on

1333. this platform. They watched our Easter We just messed up

1334. and put our Easter production on the pando app. Well,

1335. how many people watch? What was it? Over two hundred

  1336. and fifty thousand watches.

  1337. Of the Easter presentation.

1338. When I was hungry, you fed me. When I was thirsty,

1339. you gave me a drink. When I was naked, you

1340. called me Jesus. We didn't do this for you. When

1341. you did it to the least of these, you did

1342. it from me. If it was about butts and seats,

1343. we'd be trying to get people. But who's reaching the

1344. people in prison? Host Some Mike, why are you saying

1345. all this? Because God cares about some stuff more than

1346. he does money. If you want to receive Jesus and

1347. put your name in that book, a Lamb Book of

1348. Life on account of three, I just want you to

1349. lift your hands in the room and watch it online.

1350. Nobody leaves, then we're gonna give. We're gonna sing a

1351. worship song. You can come give in the buckets, and

1352. we have people who've already given online. The people online

1353. were seeing your comments. Thank you for your generosity. For

1354. some of you, you're gonna have to go and think

1355. some more, but do not let the situation stop you

1356. from actually being obedient to God. The Bible loves cheerful givers.

1357. And today we're about to see this transaction happen because

1358. somebody's soul is about to be saved because of other

1359. people already believing before this, and then more are coming

1360. because of what we're about to do today. If you

1361. want Jesus number one, you're making the greatest decision of

1362. your life to your name is gonna be written in

1363. the Lamb's Book of Life. If today you're tired of

1364. going on your own and being drug around by lies,

1365. and pornography and deep dark things like I had in

1366. my heart. On account of three, I want you to

1367. lift your hands one two three if you want to

1368. receive Jesus. I see hands, I see hands, I see hands.

1369. I see you, my sister, I see you, my brother,

  1370. I see you myself.

1371. Come on, I see you, and more than that, God

1372. sees you. This is what it's all about. So proud

1373. of you, my brother, Transformation Church.

1374. Nobody prays alone. Would everybody lift their hands for the

1375. benefit of those coming to Jesus. Everybody say, Jesus, thank

1376. you for sending your love to me. I believe you lived,

1377. you die, and you rose again with all power so

1378. that I may live in freedom.

  1379. Here's my life.

1380. I repent, I turn away from sin, and I turned

1381. to you. Change me, renew me, transform me. I'm yours

1382. in Jesus' name, Jesus. Amen, Transformation Church. Can we give

1392. a QR code to be able to give. Do it

1393. knowing that God is requiring us to be obedient to

1394. His word. I believe that everything that you believe in

1395. this next season is attached to your obedience to God,

1404. are in this room or online. You can also put

1405. them on social media. And we're gonna be praying through

1406. those things, and you never know, there's some people that

1407. are gonna be looking to meet those needs as well.

1408. Because God has blessed us, Me and a couple of

1409. partners that I believe God is raising up right now.

1410. God is gonna do miracles, signs and wonders. Yes, I

1411. want to pray over you. Would you just lift your

1412. hands right now, Father, I thank you for this church

1413. who has decided to be generous, who's decided to obey

1414. your word. Today, God, I take the pressure off of

1415. every person in this room to do anything other than

1416. obey you. You will not ask us for what we

1417. do not have. So today I thank you that you
