  1. Yay. Well, I have an apology to all the girls.

  2. And that is, I'm sorry about my shoes. I'm wearing

  3. flats. But I've got a secret to tell you that

  4. I've torn the meniscus in my left knee. And those

  5. who've ever done that, it's sore. And so heels,

  6. I'm afraid, is a step too far. And the sacrifice

  7. wasn't worth it. Am I allowed to say that? We've

  8. talked about sacrifice and laying our lives down.

  9. And you know why I went, nah. So I've got my

  10. flatties on today, but hopefully the anointing

  11. will still be here without the heels. I just

  12. want to say thank you for the most incredible

  13. weekend. How many of you girls were part of it?

  14. Give us a wave, a shout. Come on. Yay. We practiced

  15. screaming yesterday, so guys, watch out. You

  16. know, when we sing that song, don't you get shy

  17. on me. I always, I don't know about, does my

  18. soul get shy? The English girl goes, I always

  19. say, don't you get quiet on me. Lift up your

  20. voice. Come on, lift up your voice. Because I

  21. believe that God is putting a shout in the church.

  22. Helen, Gordon and I have had the privilege of

  23. being in the US for a month. And I'm afraid after

  24. second service, we have to track a bit fast.

  25. We're going up to SeaTac. We fly out this evening

  26. for the UK. And I am actually speaking in a big

  27. conference in the UK for 800 churches there.

  28. Lead pastors, associate pastors, youth pastors

  29. to look at how we work together. as five -fold

  30. ministries to raise up the church to make Jesus

  31. look good in the nation. So I said to some of

  32. the girls, you know, we can believe the media

  33. that Britain is really, you know, going Islamic,

  34. terrible, whatever. But I want to tell you, God

  35. always has a rumble. God always has a remnant.

  36. And there is something happening in Britain that

  37. is outstanding. And I want you, whenever you

  38. think of Britain, don't go, oh my Lord. Go, oh,

  39. thank you, Jesus. You've got a plan. God's got

  40. a plan for our nation. And I'm just watching

  41. it all over when the devil thinks, scored. You

  42. know, it's like playing a game of chess. The

  43. devil moves a piece and said, ha. Check. God

  44. just smiles. And he moves a piece. And the devil

  45. moves again. And again. And maybe for some of

  46. you, you felt like you'd be messed around and

  47. pieces have moved and you feel that threat of

  48. check. But God just smiles. He's got to move.

  49. And he's got to shout. And his shout is, checkmate.

  50. Come on, let's shout it. Checkmate. God's got

  51. the master move. And I feel in so many of our

  52. nations and so many of our situations, we have

  53. a God that is more than enough. In Jesus' name,

  54. amen. So I want to thank the precious girls,

  55. the team, the amazing men that supported us.

  56. I have to because the mama in me, thank. The

  57. florists. Weren't the flowers incredible all

  58. the way through? Thank you, everyone who made

  59. it. My heart sing every time I looked. I thought,

  60. I love that. You are incredible. So put your

  61. hand on your heart with me. Say, Jesus, I thank

  62. you. You are a speaking God. You see me right

  63. where I am. And you can speak to me. So right

  64. now, come. I'm ready. I'm listening. Speak where

  65. I need to hear you. Amen. So today, I want to

  66. speak about living for legacy. Living for legacy.

  67. Why do we have moms and dads and families and

  68. babies and mess and trouble and, oh no, of course,

  69. delight and wonders? Because it's a legacy thing.

  70. You see, parenthood is not just about being a

  71. mom or a dad. It's about training, shaping, releasing

  72. and seeing. Legacy continued. And both in the

  73. natural, and Pastor Jenny already said, both

  74. in the natural and the spiritual, we have this

  75. incredible ability, gift as human beings, we

  76. are allowed to shape, train, influence. And influencers

  77. don't just exist on TikTok. Thank you, Jesus.

  78. You know, we can be super influencers in everyday

  79. life. You know, I've heard people say, and it

  80. really shocked me, Rachel, I don't want to be

  81. a mom or dad at the moment. Look at the world.

  82. It would be irresponsible to bring a kid into

  83. this mess. Part of me gets what they're saying,

  84. but then I think, no, you don't get it. Because

  85. you see, I think we should look at the opportunity

  86. of parenting in a totally different way. an amazing

  87. time to be mums and dads. What an incredible

  88. opportunity to shape our culture, to influence

  89. how we do life, to raise up and train kids for

  90. next generation. And whether we're natural parents,

  91. we've actually had the joy and privilege of going

  92. through childbirth. I have two kids. And I'm

  93. afraid I can't really talk on the subject too

  94. much because I had my first child in 38 minutes

  95. and my second in 12. So women hate me. And my

  96. second one was born in Africa, Nairobi. Maybe

  97. that's why I was in a hurry. So Gordon and I

  98. have two kids. My daughter's 42, my son's 39.

  99. We have... six grandkids, three Aussie, Australian,

  100. three British. Let's see what your discernment

  101. is. We have Leela, Cooper, Alani, and we have

  102. Annabelle, Margot, and Jeremy. Three Brits, three

  103. Aussies. And whether we're natural parents or

  104. spiritual parents, We are living in a season

  105. of incredible opportunity. And are you ready

  106. to live beyond yourself? Are you ready to look

  107. around you in your workspace, in your community

  108. space, when you're at the gym and see beyond

  109. you and just recognise that people need wisdom,

  110. friendship, sound. They need someone to see them

  111. and say, seriously, what are you on? Why does

  112. that make sense? You know, we're living in the

  113. ghosting culture, you know. Well, I didn't like

  114. what you said, ghost gone. And then we're lonely.

  115. Go figure. Yeah, maybe not everyone is going

  116. to be your closest bosom friend that knows everything.

  117. But we need to have gradated relationships. We

  118. need to train. So I wonder. What is life and

  119. your anxiety levels like? Let's look at life

  120. and anxiety levels. I want us to read and we're

  121. going to see. Come on, first service. Have you

  122. drunk your coffee well? Because ready, steady,

  123. go. I want you to read from the screen from Matthew

    Matthew 6 chapter mention

  124. chapter 6, 25 to 34. Are you ready? One, two,

  125. three. That is why I tell you not to worry about

  126. everyday life, whether you should have enough

  127. food and drink or enough clothes to wear. Isn't

  128. life more than food and your body more than clothing?

  129. Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest

  130. or store food in the barns, for your heavenly

  131. Father feeds them. And aren't you more valuable

  132. to him than they are? Can all your worries add

  133. even a single moment to your life? So, don't

  134. you worry about a thing. No, we won't sing. Don't

  135. worry. Next slide. One, two, three. Way to go.

  136. So, don't worry about these things. Sing. mother's

  137. nightmare. What should we eat? What should we

  138. drink? Oh no, you've grown out of it already.

  139. What are we gonna wear? These things dominate

  140. the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly

  141. father already knows all your needs. Seek the

  142. kingdom of heaven above all else and live righteously

  143. and he will give you everything you need. So

  144. don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow has its

  145. own worries. Today's trouble. is enough for today.

  146. Should we go home? The Bible's an amazing preacher,

  147. isn't it? Isn't it incredible? Just right there.

  148. It sounds so simple, but how many of you know,

  149. it's complex. But if we were just able to grasp

  150. that concept, quit worrying. letting your brain

  151. go into this overdrive mode. What are they going

  152. to think? What am I going to wear? What are we

  153. going to do? The word for worry here in the Greek

  154. could also be translated, don't be concerned.

  155. Don't let concerns. And sometimes, you know,

  156. in our parenting roles, we can think, well, you

  157. know, I should be a bit. I mean, it is concerning.

  158. Come on, Rachel, wake up. But we're not just

  159. talking about casual concern. This word here

  160. means a driving, a driven concern, an obsessive

  161. concern. Here we're talking about getting so

  162. overly concerned about... Oh, I can't eat that

  163. food. There's too many E's. There's too many

  164. B's. There's too many Z's. And all the numbers

  165. in the between. I'm going to get cancer. I'm

  166. going to get this. I'm going to get that. And

  167. one minute, this food is the best thing. And

  168. the next minute, it's the worst thing. How many

  169. of you know what I'm talking about? And we get

  170. overly concerned. And now it's drink. Well, we

  171. don't drink coffee. Or we go all on green slime.

  172. Oh, sorry, and the Cheetos and the other stuff.

  173. You know, it's like... And suddenly we're worried

  174. about food and drink and clothing. In fact, it

  175. literally means do not get consumed with over

  176. -anxious concern about everyday life issues.

  177. So what shall I wear? What shall I eat? So I

  178. want to ask you a question. What makes you anxious

  179. or worried? What are your triggers? What in those

  180. happy moments of marriage or thing, there's just

  181. one thing can be said and suddenly, boom, it's

  182. a firework party and it's not July the 4th. You

  183. know what I mean? You just test something and

  184. suddenly a happy moment can become an awkward

  185. moment because that worry gets triggered. I had

  186. a mum come and say to me, but Rachel. If I don't

  187. worry about my kids, I'm not a very good mum,

  188. am I? And somehow we have this mantra, mums are

  189. made to worry about their kids. Go figure. Is

  190. that the best atmosphere we can bring our kiddies

  191. up in? there is, of course, normal, natural concern

  192. and care. But there is also an obsessive concern

  193. that begins to fill your head so you can never

  194. switch off. There is a wrong concern that begins

  195. to consume your every decision. What if I'm doing

  196. the wrong thing? What if I'm doing the right

  197. thing? Oh, how many know what I'm talking about,

  198. mums and dads? It's just life. And so suddenly

  199. the what if question becomes like a nightmare

  200. scenario. But here Jesus is speaking to every

  201. one of us and he says, do not become over concerned

  202. about things that may or may never happen. What

  203. if they take my pension? What if this goes wrong?

  204. What if? You see, I felt that God says, do not

  205. let the devil torment you with his horror movies.

  206. You know, so often you go to bed and suddenly

  207. all these scenarios are running out. Well, this

  208. guy's going to get the job. I'm going to be laid

  209. off. How many of you know what you're talking

  210. about? This is going to happen. My kid's going

  211. to go on drugs. Today, on Mum's Day, whether

  212. you're male or female, I believe God's putting

  213. a button in front of you and he's saying, press

  214. the delete all. Come on, delete all in Jesus'

  215. name. All those nightmare scenarios, delete all

  216. those anxious thoughts from your thinking. You

  217. know what I've discovered is that prayer is much

  218. more effective. than worry. You can worry about

  219. something or you can pray about something. Father,

  220. right now, in Jesus' name, I pray for my 14 -year

  221. -old. I pray, God, you will wrap your love around

  222. him. I thank you that he's not going to be taken

  223. the way of drugs, et cetera, et cetera, but you

  224. are going to corral him. And I speak to it in

  225. Jesus' name. As I said, my kids are 42 and 39.

  226. And there were wobble moments. How many know

  227. what I mean? But both of them love Jesus passionately

  228. now. One is in full -time ministry. Nicola with

  229. her husband Tim lead the church in London. My

  230. son is in full -time marketplace. He's a financial

  231. business analyst working right on the cutting

  232. edge of money. But guess what? He loves Jesus.

  233. We've got the sacred and the secular, but on

  234. fire. for God. Come on. We've got to love them.

  235. And I remember when I had those moments, I would

  236. put my hands on their pillows and I'd just say,

  237. in Jesus' name, as you put your head down there,

  238. every Jesus thought fills your head. Every other

  239. thought, I rebuke you in Jesus' name. Come on,

  240. let's be praying, people. Let's ring fence their

  241. areas. Prayer, even for you. Maybe you're facing

  242. stuff, decisions, and it just feels very unsafe.

  243. Prayer is more effective than worry. And if you

  244. can't keep focused yourself, find a friend. Find

  245. someone. We do have socials. WhatsApp. Just WhatsApp

  246. each other for five minutes every morning. Say,

  247. I'm going to work today and it's been hell. Can

  248. you just agree with me in prayer as I drive that

  249. I'm going to have a good day? And pray. Don't

  250. worry driving to work. Pray. Come on, it will

  251. change everything. You see, God, Jesus came to

  252. give you peace. What is that word, peace? Peace

  253. is not just a warm, fuzzy feeling. Oh, it feels

  254. peace. Peace, Irene, the Greek word, literally

  255. means taking broken bones that were dislocated

  256. and reforming them so they are knit together

  257. in perfect alignment. building the bridge back

  258. and then wrapping it around with all the blood

  259. and the tissue. So it's stronger. It's calloused.

  260. We call it a callous. Stronger than it was before

  261. in a place where you easily break and bend. You

  262. know, the Hebrew shalom literally is an executive

  263. order. Shalom, peace, be here. It doesn't have

  264. a nice fuzzy feeling. It says, no, in Jesus'

  265. name, boom, I command. Executive. Peace. And

  266. you see, Jesus came to give us not fuzzy feelings.

  267. Although he does. How many of you have felt that

  268. wraparound love of God? You felt his kindness.

  269. You felt. He gives us all of that. But he gives

  270. us more than a feeling. He gives us an executive

  271. order. You see. Jesus gives us safe places. We

  272. don't have to worry about our kids. I remember

  273. I'm a missionary kid and a preacher's kid. And

  274. so I went to church before I was born, anyone

  275. like me. And I never really left. But there were

  276. encounter moments where I really stepped closer

  277. and I stepped closer. But there were also messy

  278. moments. I was really badly bullied at school.

  279. I was told to shut up and go. I was fearful.

  280. When Gordon met me, there was so much fear in

  281. me for trust and relationships. The first time

  282. he took me in his arms and I knew he wanted to

  283. kiss me, I'm like, no, don't do that. Nobody

  284. loves me. And I don't know if I can trust you.

  285. But Jesus gives us safe places. Jesus gives us

  286. places where even where we have been wounded

  287. or damaged and we have anxiety or stress, if

  288. we let go and let God in, do not worry. You don't

  289. need to be anxious. You can trust again. And

  290. in this season, it is that play out of chess.

  291. Who do you trust to win? Who do you trust to

  292. win? When the devil's shoving you around, check,

  293. check. And you feel humiliated. How many of you

  294. know what I'm talking about? You can see that.

  295. Can you trust God's got a plan and he's going

  296. to move the piece? Checkmate. So let's read Psalm

  297. chapter nine, verse 10 together. One, two, three.

  298. Those who know your name will trust in you. Lord,

  299. you have never forsaken those who seek you. How

  300. many of you know never? is a big word. Come on,

  301. rest in there. Just say, Jesus, you never. You

  302. see, God is waiting for you. And whether it's

  303. in your personal life, your marriage life, your

  304. corporate business world, your church world,

  305. you at Life Bible with a river outside. After

  306. nonsense, we stop you in Jesus' name. God is

  307. waiting for you. Whose report will you believe?

  308. You felt the check, check, check of the devil

  309. humiliating you, playing with you, tantalising

  310. you in your personal life, in your church life.

  311. But guess what? Can you hear? Can you see? The

  312. relaxed smile of God that just says, don't worry.

  313. Tomorrow's got problems, but today, see me. I've

  314. got a plan. I've got a plan. You see, for many

  315. of us, that risk of learning to trust again is

  316. huge. You have to risk. In our family or Gordon's

  317. family, we call risk courageous insanity. You

  318. know, that is faith. What is faith in God? It's

  319. courageous insanity. It's being courageous when

  320. it does not seem to make sense. And everyone's

  321. going at you, really? You're weird. How many

  322. courageously insane people have we got in the

  323. house today that are ready? You see, God is patiently

  324. waiting for you. And you know, I believe fear

  325. is one of the atmospheres that God hates more

  326. than any other atmosphere. Because it's the weapon

  327. the devil uses. And it is completely opposite

  328. to the very nature and heart of God. Because

  329. God is love. And perfect love drives out, extinguishes,

  330. banishes all fear. And so in this season and

  331. time, globally, nationally, personally, There

  332. is like a vomiting of fear, anxiety, stress,

  333. mental health issues. Would you agree? The devil's

  334. getting in our head to mess with us. And he is

  335. deleting that trust of a daddy God that says,

  336. I've got you. I see you. I love you. I hold you.

  337. I will never fail you. I won't fail your family.

  338. I won't fail you. You see, I was in a park with

  339. my granddaughter, Alani, one of the Aussie ones.

  340. And Alani was playing mad. And I watched two

  341. parents with their little toddler, a little boy.

  342. And they were trying to persuade their little

  343. boy to be a big boy and go down this huge slide.

  344. And so dad was really engaged and he got hold

  345. of his little toddler. He stuck it on the top

  346. of this little slide. And as he tried to take

  347. his little boy to sit him on the slide, this

  348. little child clung to him like a koala bear.

  349. And so the dad's trying to get his hands off.

  350. The boy is trying to cling. It's not going well.

  351. And the more he's pulling the boy off, the more

  352. he's clinging and the more the dad's getting

  353. frustrated. Until there's great shrieking, crying,

  354. no! And in the end, the father, feeling a little

  355. humiliated at the top of the slide, left this

  356. child screaming at the top of the stairs and

  357. disappeared. I was just watching her. Mum then

  358. goes up the steps. She squeezes in next to her

  359. little boy. He won't let her come anywhere near

  360. to touch or sneakily push him. He's on serious

  361. guard, clinging to the side of the slide. So

  362. she just sits next to him. Everyone else is getting

  363. aggravated. Mom, I want to go down the slide.

  364. But they form their little bubble. She sits with

  365. this little boy. Patient conversations. And eventually,

  366. this little boy, he releases his little chubby

  367. grip and puts it on his lap, one. And then he

  368. takes the other one off. And I saw the mum just

  369. winning the trust of this little boy as he was

  370. about to do something that he felt was ridiculous.

  371. Slowly, he let go. And he slid down a few metres

  372. of the slide. Mum sort of caught him, picked

  373. him up, put him back. They then went three metres.

  374. They went four metres. And each time he climbed

  375. back to the top, she increased their distance,

  376. just standing in a catching position saying,

  377. it's okay, I've got you. I promise you will not

  378. get hurt. And I watched the boy's trust begin

  379. to develop. And finally, he got on the top, let

  380. go, boom! He went right to the bottom, arms up,

  381. mum catches him. He's done it. And everyone's

  382. thrilled. So dad steps in, come on, son, let's

  383. go do the slide. The little boy goes, no, dad,

  384. I don't trust you. By the end of the time in

  385. that park, both the mum and dad were probably

  386. sick and tired that they taught the little boy

  387. to go down the big slide because they spent the

  388. rest of that hour up, down the grass bank, on

  389. the top, run to the bottom. And it no longer

  390. mattered if it was mum, if it was dad. That boy

  391. was now throwing himself off the top of that

  392. slide. All fear gone. But as I watched that,

  393. and as I was preparing for today, I was reminded

  394. of that story. I just thought about the patient

  395. kindness of the mother heart that sees where

  396. you are and helps you rebuild trust when you

  397. feel overwhelmed by fear. And I want to say to

  398. you, it doesn't matter if you feel like that

  399. little boy or little girl and you squeeze into

  400. a place and you think, I've got a clue what to

  401. go. It's such a mess. I can't let go. It's all

  402. going wrong. I want to say, there are people

  403. in the house and there is a God in the house

  404. that are ready to catch you and help you do the

  405. journey. God is waiting for you. Will you trust

  406. him? You see all through our society we see lives

  407. that have lost their ability to trust. And once

  408. you lose trust you live with anxiety. People

  409. believed in marriage once but then they were

  410. abandoned, betrayed. People loved their dad but

  411. then it got abusive, dominating, tough. People

  412. really enjoyed their work and their colleagues.

  413. And then they got laid off. And everyone else

  414. knew except you. There are so many different

  415. circumstances of loss that leave our trust capacity

  416. depleted and trigger our anxiety. But today,

  417. on Mother's Day, God wants you to know the comfort

  418. of a patient Father God who will sit next to

  419. you. in those traumatic, fearful, anxious places

  420. and wants to rebuild confidence again. Today,

  421. as you focus your thoughts on a loving father,

  422. all through this passage that I read, Jesus used...

  423. Pictures of nature and creation to illustrate

  424. how much God loves. The birds are cared for.

  425. The fields have flowers. Look at creation. I'm

  426. an incredible caretaker. Don't you think I can

  427. look after you? And finally, at the end of that

  428. passage, we read the verse 33. Seek first the

  429. kingdom of God. above all else, live righteously

  430. and he will give you. You haven't got to drive

  431. for it, strive for it, plead for it, manipulate

  432. for it. God will give you, gift you everything

  433. you need. You see, as you make a choice to look

  434. towards him and become and live a Jesus -centric

  435. life. That opens the storehouse of heaven. And

  436. you receive everything you need. And so I believe,

  437. Life .Church, that the enemy has wanted to come

  438. in and put an atmosphere of fear. Everything

  439. you've got is going to be taken away. I'm going

  440. to strip you down, humiliate you. You're going

  441. to look stupid. I say no in Jesus' name. We need

  442. to create the right atmosphere. for healthy living.

  443. In our personal life, in our everyday life. And

  444. we can do the facts and figures. So come on,

  445. in your heart say, Jesus help me. Create the

  446. right atmosphere for healthy living. And it ends

  447. up, you know, there's lots of songs. Don't you

  448. worry about a thing. So don't worry about tomorrow.

  449. Don't worry about tomorrow. Helen works with

  450. me, heart cry office. You know, we're in transition.

  451. So many things are shifting and changing. And

  452. people ask me, have you got a five -year plan?

  453. Have you got a budget? Have you got a three -year

  454. plan? Yeah, I've written them. I've shredded

  455. most of them. How many of you know what I'm talking

  456. about? You make this plan six months down the

  457. road. Yeah, that's not going to work. Since COVID,

  458. it's been crazy. And we've had to shift and change.

  459. And that makes control freaks like me nervous.

  460. We like to have a plan. We like to stick to the

  461. plan. We like to enforce the plan. We like to

  462. tell you our plan. How many of you know what

  463. I'm talking about? many are convicted right now?

  464. Come on, don't leave me alone here. So I've had

  465. this little saying with all my people, don't

  466. ask me for a long -term plan. I'm living life

  467. just one step at a time. That's all, one step

  468. at a time. I'm living life one step at a time.

  469. That's all, one step at a time. out tomorrow.

  470. You see, I believe God is asking us to live generously,

  471. forgive easily, be honest and authentic in our

  472. relationships, live free from those constant

  473. worries, concerns. He's asking us to awaken,

  474. align and then advance. So I wonder what has

  475. been shut down in your time of fear. Awaken.

  476. Align. Advance. Awaken to the God who sees you.

  477. He sees you. You're not trying to go, hey God,

  478. it would be really nice, God, if you've got a

  479. moment, God. I'm here, I need help. He sees you.

  480. He sees you. Then you have to align. What's that?

  481. You have to begin to listen to what heaven is

  482. saying and mirror it on earth. Thy kingdom come,

  483. thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  484. Do you think heaven... is real worried about

  485. the global scene right now. Do you think heaven

  486. is really worried about pension funds and house

  487. sales? You see, the beautiful thing about God

  488. is he's the most consistent, constant, reliable,

  489. everyday focus, but eternity relevant. of anything

  490. I know. So God, what are you saying to me? If

  491. I do what you asked me to do today, guess what?

  492. I'll be in the right place at the right time

  493. doing the right thing that truly satisfies and

  494. brings me hope. And Father, we break every drivenness.

  495. How many of you know fear is a Cruel taskmaster.

  496. It says to you, work harder, work harder, do

  497. more, do more. And then you trip up and you feel

  498. stupid. Because God wants you to advance into

  499. your kingdom legacy. One of the privileges we

  500. have as mums is that we birth something new.

  501. And obviously we have the dads to help us with

  502. that. But we get the privilege to actually birth

  503. it. I remember when Gordon was there, when Nicola,

  504. our daughter, was born on his birthday. It was

  505. our first child and I had planned this beautiful

  506. last romantic dinner that we can just have a

  507. meal without kids. And she came just before dessert.

  508. And his favourite is dessert. So he got stolen

  509. of his birthday cake and dessert. As I said,

  510. 38 minutes. It was a quick run to the hospital.

  511. But you see, we open up the way. Come on, mums

  512. in the house. Are you going to let fear control

  513. you? Or are you going to be birthers of the new

  514. things that God has got? You see, I believe this

  515. is a great time to be alive. Just a few weeks

  516. ago, we celebrated Easter. And at Easter time,

  517. we say, He is risen. Jesus is alive. And we get

  518. real excited. Is that true? Do you do that in

  519. Harrisburg? We shout it as if it only happens

  520. and exists for one day. Hello? It's an everyday

  521. thing. We should be coming up. Do you know Jesus

  522. is alive. He's risen. He controls all things.

  523. He is the God of the universe. He holds everything

  524. together. He is not dead. We carry resurrection

  525. life. John 10 .10 says this. satisfying life.

  526. You see, I can hear something when I'm in America.

  527. I hear a rumble. I hear a vibration. I hear a

  528. life sound that is wanting to vibrate through

  529. America. And the devil is going to say, I'm going

  530. to kill you. But I've got a God who says, checkmate,

  531. I rose. It is finished. There is life. There

  532. is more than you could ever imagine. And so we

  533. break the fear. Deuteronomy 30, 19. Can you read

  534. it with me? This day. Which day? Mother's Day,

  535. 2026. On this day, I want you to call. the heavens

  536. and the earth as witnesses against you, that

  537. God has set before you life and death, blessings

  538. and curses. Now choose life. Why? So that you

  539. and your children may live. You see, today, if

  540. you make an intentional choice to break fear,

  541. come on, I've had enough. How many of you had

  542. enough of being tormented by the devil's movies?

  543. It's enough now. Get off. And whatever level

  544. it is, whether it's the national level, whether

  545. it's your kiddie level, your financial, no, in

  546. Jesus' name, get off. I mean, who today who says,

  547. oh yeah, I want to choose death and I choose

  548. curses. No, we're going to choose life. We're

  549. going to choose. But guess what? We need to choose.

  550. Intentional. Make a choice. Set your GPS. That's

  551. my target. And I want to break. every distraction

  552. of the wretched devil or his thought, all that

  553. seems so, yeah, that makes sense, but it doesn't

  554. make sense because God, the devil is a robber,

  555. a thief. And I believe he's blowed in his atmospheres,

  556. which seem so reasonable. How many of you know

  557. fear can sound reasonable? And God today said,

  558. it's enough. Stop it. Choose this day. Resurrection

  559. life. Make a decision. Fear will not be my master.

  560. You will not control me. Anxiety, get off me.

  561. Because I want to awaken to a daddy God who sees

  562. me. He sees me. More important than a sparrow.

  563. Or the beautiful flowers in the field. My daddy

  564. sees me. I want to align in that door of heaven.

  565. And the thing I love most. Now choose life. Come

  566. on life church. Choose life. Life. Why? So that

  567. you have a great life. But it's not as selfish

  568. as that. And that you're. on how many of you

  569. want to leave a legacy come on that's what I

  570. said this is a life of legacy we're gonna in

  571. Jesus name so I want to pray with you come Holy

  572. Spirit I want you as that little boy that little

  573. girl to sit on the top of that big terrifying

  574. slide where you feel you're gonna fly off and

  575. die And feel God snuggle next to you and say,

  576. I've got you. I've got you. And maybe you're

  577. in the house today and you don't really know

  578. Jesus. You don't know this Jesus that sees you,

  579. loves you, cares for you. You see, coming to

  580. church is great. You have a family. can't save

  581. you, the family can just help you. Jesus can

  582. save you. Jesus comes right into the mess of

  583. the inside and he sees the grot and he sees you

  584. and he gets hold of all the mess and he says,

  585. don't worry, I can sort it. Because I created

  586. you. I can fix it. I make blind eyes to see,

  587. broken legs to walk. I've taken mental health,

  588. which is messed up. Buy drugs and cocaine and

  589. I can rewire you for the glory of God. I'm a

  590. big, big daddy and I love you and I see you.

  591. But you have to choose life. You have to choose

  592. Jesus. Not just community. Community's great.

  593. But you have to let go and you have to let God.

  594. And so in the presence of God on Mother's Day,

  595. There is a kind, kind father who's saying, son,

  596. daughter, will you come home and let me help

  597. you live life well? And I'm asking you, choose

  598. life. Choose Jesus. One of the beautiful decisions

  599. of life. And if you're saying, yes, I want Jesus

  600. 100%. It might be, I want to let go running my

  601. own life and really give my life to Jesus 100%.

  602. Maybe you've never done it. There's a first time.

  603. Maybe you did it years ago, but if you're honest

  604. today, you know Jesus isn't in the right place.

  605. So I'm going to ask you, I'm going to count to

  606. three. And if you're saying, yes, I choose Jesus.

  607. I'm going to ask you to put up your hand to heaven

  608. and say, God, I want to take hold of your hand

  609. today. I want you to come into my life. I want

  610. to break the fear. And I want you to grab my

  611. life and help me live it well. So I'm going to

  612. count to three. And you be ready to take hold

  613. of the hand of God. Lift your hand up high. And

  614. then I want to pray with you. Some of you are

  615. already doing it. God bless you. So one, two,

  616. three. Lift that hand. Just grab hold of the

  617. hand of God and say, God, I need you in my life.

  618. I'm so sorry I've let you go. But I need you.

  619. I need you, God. Just tell him in your own words,

  620. as you look into heaven, just say, God, my hand

  621. is lifted because I'm choosing life. And God,

  622. this is where our main portrait is. Just lift

  623. that hand and keep talking to God. Well done.

  624. Now, can you pray with me this prayer? Because

  625. you see, what you say is important. It's like

  626. when we get married, the minister looks at you

  627. and says, will you take? And you have to say.

  628. Yes, I will. Your words have power. So right

  629. now I want you with all the family. You're not

  630. going to do it by yourself. With all the family,

  631. we're going to pray with you. Can you do that?

  632. Keep that hand up and say, today I give you my

  633. life. I'm sorry for the wrong choices I have

  634. made. Please forgive me. But now I choose life.

  635. Come into my life and help me live my best life

  636. for Jesus. Amen. Come on, let's give Him a clap.

  637. We welcome you. Oh, we welcome you. I don't know,

  638. because I'm sorry I didn't ask. I don't know

  639. if you have a prayer team, but I deliberately

  640. made sure that we had some time at the end. We've

  641. got about 10 minutes or so. How many of you know

  642. you need to do some business with Jesus before

  643. you run out? We need to leave fear. We need to

  644. leave stuff. So if there's the prayer team, if

  645. you could just be ready to pray with people.

  646. But I want to give an opportunity. That it's

  647. not just Gen Z who want to jump and skip and

  648. worship who come down the front. No, it's going

  649. to be any of us who've got issues. I've told

  650. you my issues. Come on. And we're going to leave

  651. our issues. We're going to break fear. How many

  652. of you know, I need to break some fear. The devil's

  653. been tormenting me and I want to get rid of it.

  654. So I'm just going to ask you to stand. And I'm

  655. gonna ask you to come down the front and just,

  656. if you need to leave stuff at the altar, at the

  657. foot of the cross, come and I wanna pray for

  658. you. I want you just to come and say, Jesus,

  659. I'm here for you today. You spoke to me today

  660. and I want this fear off my life because I'm

  661. choosing life today. Just come and press into

  662. Him. Just come. And if you gave your life to

  663. Jesus, just a second, because I don't want to

  664. scream at them. If you gave your life to Jesus

  665. for the first time or you recommitted it because

  666. you know you haven't been doing great, I want

  667. to create a special place on the right hand side

  668. here. Just come down here. Some of the pastors

  669. and prayer team, just be. and pray with them.

  670. You know who you are. You put up your hands.

  671. We want to particularly pray for you so that

  672. we know you can do life well with the choices

  673. you've made. So those of you who put up your

  674. hands, wherever you are, if you can come down

  675. to this section, introduce yourself, some prayer

  676. team passes. Thank you. Just come. They're going

  677. to pray with you. They're going to help you.

  678. In Jesus' Name. Just make your way to that side.

  679. That will be really helpful. So are the rest

  680. of you ready just to lift your hands with me?

  681. And I want us, you can pray for each other in

  682. the rows, you can come down the front, but I

  683. want you to have a moment where you say to God,

  684. Father today, just pray, Father today, I thank

  685. you. You love me. And today, I break the power

  686. of fear that's been speaking in my life. All

  687. the nightmares, all the conversations. And today,

  688. I ask you to give me a new narrative of hope,

  689. of joy, of peace. In Jesus' name. And God, I

  690. choose life. And I choose to trust you. I will

  691. trust you. So as we worship, just stir that inside.

  692. And be specific, break the fears. You know, one

  693. of the fears that drove me was I had someone

  694. say to me, well, you're a pastor. You know what

  695. happens to pastor's kids, don't you? And I said,

  696. no. They said, oh, when they get to their teen

  697. years, they go on drugs and you'll lose them.

  698. That little fear got in my head. And when my

  699. son was 14, I began to live that horror. Oh,

  700. what? Are His friends good enough? Is He good

  701. enough? He never did it. But it was like He began

  702. to torment me until I had to say, in Jesus' Name,

  703. I uproot, I tear down every lie. In Jesus' Name,

  704. this is not coming to my house. It's not coming

  705. to my David. You get off. In Jesus' Name, my

  706. children will love the Lord and you will not

  707. take them. So as we worship, come on, you do

  708. the business and say, no, it's coming out. It's

  709. coming out in Jesus name. Lastly, if you are

  710. in need of prayer send us a text message at 541

  711. -625 -1365. We would love to pray with you.
