  1. Welcome to the Life Bible Church podcast. We

  2. want to thank you for joining us today and we

  3. hope you find today's sermon impacting as you

  4. listen to it wherever you are in your daily walk.

  5. To find service times and watch messages online,

  6. see our website at lifebiblechurch .org. Now,

  7. enjoy this week's message. Thank you. Wow. The

  8. first thing I have to do is say, sorry girls,

  9. I've let you down. I haven't worn pretty shoes.

  10. I felt very conflicted this morning, but here's

  11. the secret. I've torn the meniscus in my left

  12. knee and it's quite painful and heels and that

  13. doesn't go too well together. So I'm okay standing.

  14. I'll do a bit of bouncing, but I'm afraid of

  15. heels. So I'll mire all your pretty shoes. And

  16. I'm sorry you've got flatties and trainers. Just

  17. in case you think, these British girls, they

  18. really, no. We can wear heels, I promise. I want

  19. to thank you for an amazing weekend. I want to

  20. thank every one of you who came, leaned in. Thank

  21. you for the incredible worship team. All you

  22. guys. AV, power, make us sound good, look good.

  23. You've been amazing and you work really hard.

  24. Come on, let's give them a hand. Thank you. Thank

  25. you. Thank you. And my favourite is what we in

  26. our church call the wow team. Now, the wow team

  27. is the team that when you walk into space, you

  28. just go, oh, wow. These flowers. I mean, how

  29. many of you went, oh, wow, when you saw the flowers

  30. all around? I want to thank everyone that did

  31. the crafting, just the decor and everything.

  32. Give yourself a clap. We clap you. We thank you.

  33. And I love these flowers. So say, wow, you did

  34. well. So I'm going to speak today on living for

  35. legacy. Living for legacy. You know, it's Mum's

  36. Day and you maybe have an idea in your mind,

  37. go preach at Mother's Day. Well, I'm going to

  38. mess it up. You know, we live in Oxford in England

  39. and that's a place which has raised many incredible

  40. leaders across the world. George Whitefield being

  41. one of them. If any of you have seen the movie

  42. just come out with Angel Studios called A Great

  43. Awakening. There is George Whitefield challenging

  44. Benjamin Franklin and just shaping this media

  45. mongrel of his day, newspaper editor, and just

  46. saying, come on, and really preaching Jesus.

  47. And they've released it for your 250 year celebration

  48. of America being born. But that man, George Whitefield,

  49. was born again in the church that Gordon and

  50. I had the privilege of pastoring in Oxford a

  51. few hundred years earlier. And you just, you

  52. walk in a city of legacy. You walk down the streets

  53. and we know that there were men who went before

  54. us who shifted the whole of history. But their

  55. start didn't feel that spectacular. So on mum's

  56. day, father's day, influencer's day, are we going

  57. to set in motion lives of a legacy? You know,

  58. around me, I often hear students or people say

  59. things like this. Hey, I don't want to be a mom

  60. or a dad at the moment. It's a horrendous time

  61. to be alive. What are those poor kids going to

  62. do? What about the children? but I want to give

  63. you a different perspective. I want to say to

  64. you, what an amazing time to be awesome mums

  65. and dads. Whether we have physically birthed

  66. them or whether we're influencing, shaping people

  67. with a mother -father heart. As I say, I live

  68. in Oxford. We supposedly get the very brightest

  69. of the world coming to us. We're the Harvard

  70. Yale. When you watch those kids, dear Jesus.

  71. How many of you get what I mean? They need help.

  72. They need shaping. They need a mom and a dad

  73. and conversations. So I want to ask you, are

  74. you ready to live for legacy? Are you ready to

  75. be part of this group of amazing moms and dads

  76. that are going to shape culture, that are going

  77. to influence the next generation, that are going

  78. to speak hope, give them different horizons,

  79. give them different patterns of life? Because

  80. whether you have naturally birthed kids or whether

  81. you're spiritual shapers, I believe we've never

  82. had a greater opportunity to shape generations.

  83. But we better get busy and get to it. Because

  84. you see, all around us is an atmosphere of fear,

  85. anxiety, stress. Mental health sickness is off

  86. the charts. Suicide is rising. All the stuff

  87. that people are going, woo, they're backing out

  88. instead of engaging. So I wonder what life and

  89. your anxiety level looks like. Where's your anxiety

  90. level? Life and anxiety levels. Worry and trust.

  91. So I want you to show me your second service.

  92. You've drunk your coffee and you're wide awake

  93. and read this scripture with me. One, two, three.

  94. It's from Matthew chapter six, 25 to 34. There's

  95. two slides, but you ready to go? One, two, three.

  96. That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday

  97. life, whether you have enough food and drink

  98. or enough clothes to wear. Is a life worth more

  99. than food and your body more than clothing? Look

  100. at the birds. They don't plan or harvest or store

  101. food in barns for your heavenly Father feeds

  102. them. And aren't you more valuable to Him than

  103. they are? Can all your worries add a single moment

  104. to your life? Next slide. Don't worry about these

  105. things saying, oh no, mama's syndrome. What are

  106. we gonna eat? What are you gonna drink? No, you're

  107. not gonna wear that. What will we wear? Verse

  108. 32, these things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers,

  109. but your heavenly Father already knows all your

  110. needs. Seek the kingdom of God above all else

  111. and live righteously and He will... And he will

  112. give you everything you need. So don't worry

  113. about tomorrow. For tomorrow will bring its own

  114. worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

  115. Amen? Ready to go home? The Bible preaches well,

  116. doesn't it? It just says... Going to say, stop

  117. it. Slow down. You know, as we read that word,

  118. worry, here in the New Testament, it could also

  119. be very accurately translated, don't be concerned.

  120. Or don't become OCD. How many of you know what

  121. I mean? You're in a super drive of one particular

  122. anxiety. You know, washing your hands, shutting

  123. the door. Did I lock it? Did I lock it? You know,

  124. the OCD, becoming OCD. overly concerned in one

  125. particular sphere of life if we watch our media

  126. it's all around us you know don't eat that you'll

  127. get cancer this e that z this number that thing

  128. and so we stop eating that and then they tell

  129. us this is healthy wait six months and you're

  130. dying again how many we know what I'm talking

  131. about it's like we can't get it right And the

  132. whole of our culture just stresses us out. And

  133. what seemed to be simple, well, it's pretty obvious,

  134. get up, put some clothes on, eat, drink, go to

  135. work, has now become super complex. And the most

  136. simple of things now is like, oh, am I getting

  137. it right? Am I getting it wrong? So here on Mother's

  138. Day, I want to talk about allowing the squeezing

  139. of our culture and pressure to make you overly

  140. concerned so that all the time you're trying

  141. to second guess, am I eating the right thing,

  142. drinking the right thing, dressing right? You

  143. know, you haven't got the right shoes on. So

  144. I want to ask you a question. What makes you

  145. anxious or worried? What are the triggers inside

  146. of you? Maybe you could just hear the news and

  147. then sometimes you just feel that. It's like,

  148. how many know what I'm talking about? And you

  149. felt fine, but it just needs one person to say

  150. that thing and suddenly you finally felt stressing.

  151. And you just feel this engine begin. I had a

  152. mum come up and say to me, Rachel, but if I don't

  153. worry about my kids, I'm not a very good mum,

  154. am I? After all, mums worry about their kids.

  155. Isn't that what a mum does? That's part of the

  156. job spec. But should it be? You see, if we're

  157. growing up our kids in that atmosphere of fear,

  158. it's not the best atmosphere to grow up in. But

  159. there is almost that unwritten rule. If you're

  160. a good mum, will you worry about your kids? Yes,

  161. of course, I do believe there is that normal,

  162. natural concern, care, protectiveness. I get

  163. that. But there's also an obsessive concern that

  164. begins to fill your head so you can never switch

  165. off. The second your kid's not there, who's abducted

  166. it? Where's it gone? How many get what I'm talking

  167. about? If they're just a little bit late or they

  168. don't text, they've had an accident, they're

  169. in the hospital. And suddenly you find these

  170. over -anxious concerns fill your head and you

  171. can never switch off. I was talking to a young

  172. guy and he was saying to me, I just worry all

  173. the time my wife's going to have an affair. And

  174. I said, why? I said, you know, any... No, no,

  175. no, she says she really doesn't, but it's in

  176. my head. And you see the enemies wanting to press

  177. triggers and buttons. And these wrong concerns

  178. begin to consume our life and begin to control

  179. our decision making. And we feel like we're in

  180. this chess game of life and the devil's playing

  181. with us. He knows exactly which squares to land

  182. on. How many of you know what I'm talking about?

  183. And suddenly you turn the radio on and there's

  184. someone just talking about a kid got abducted

  185. or someone having an affair or your Facebook

  186. scrolls onto something and suddenly, shh. And

  187. the devil's going, ha ha, check. And suddenly

  188. you're in that zone, check, check. And your whole

  189. world. It's tight, fearful, dark, lonely, but

  190. it's in your head. And on the outside, I'm fine,

  191. you're fine, we're all fine, not. But there's

  192. a big, wonderful father and he sits at that chess

  193. table. And however much the devil shoves you

  194. around with check, check, he's got a piece. And

  195. he has the ultimate checkmate. And today, I want

  196. to declare checkmate to all the what's ifs that

  197. are kicking off in your mind. All those nightmare

  198. scenarios. I want to declare over you, do not

  199. let the devil torment you. With his horror movies.

  200. How many of you know you go into bed and suddenly

  201. stuff plays or you're just in the car driving

  202. and suddenly all this stuff. Say no in Jesus

  203. name. I want you to find that delete button and

  204. put your fingers on it and say no longer in Jesus

  205. name. I'm going to delete all these anxious thoughts

  206. from my thinking. Come on stinking thinking,

  207. you bow down. I have a God who loves me, cares

  208. for me. Because you see, prayer is always much

  209. more effective than worry. Worry doesn't change

  210. anything. But we begin to pray to it. We begin

  211. to speak to it. And we say, uh -uh, no, in Jesus'

  212. name. You see, God has come to give you peace.

  213. We heard about that with Pastor Jen. There's

  214. a dove of peace. And peace isn't only just, oh,

  215. I feel all snuggled. I'm in my massage. I'm just...

  216. No, peace is actually pretty strong. It's executive.

  217. All the way through the Bible, it says, let there

  218. be peace. Shalom isn't, I'll give you a hug.

  219. Happy Mummy's Day. Shalom is actually an executive

  220. order. It says, right now, I command a jurisdiction

  221. of peace. Let heaven come to peace. Every onslaught

  222. of the devil who's coming to stir your life,

  223. we say no in Jesus' name, back off. This is a

  224. peace zone. We are the United Nations forces

  225. of heaven. We say, get off, back off, all mental

  226. sickness, all anxiety, all fear. You move and

  227. you shift in Jesus' name. For the peace of the

  228. Lord will rule in your hearts and mind. Isn't

  229. that what it says? It will rule, take dominion.

  230. And so you see, He comes to bring us peace. What

  231. I love about God is he gives us safe places and

  232. spaces. So you don't need to be anxious. You

  233. need to learn to lean and trust again. Where

  234. you've been independent on your front foot, looking

  235. after yourself, sorting your life, trying to

  236. work out who's for you, who's not for you, looking

  237. at your workspace and thinking, who do I trust?

  238. Who do I trust? Who's after my job? Who's after

  239. my girl? So that you look at life through that

  240. lens of suspicion. Now you have a good shepherd.

  241. He's on watch for you. You can love life and

  242. live life because you have a God who's more than

  243. enough and able. You don't need to be anxious.

  244. Psalm chapter 9 verse 10 says this. Can you read

    Psalms 9:10

  245. it with me? One, two, three. Those who... know

  246. your name will, will, for you, Lord, have, you

  247. have, you have never forsaken those who trust

  248. you. Come on, that's a big word. Never is never.

  249. Come on God, we want to trust in you and we want

  250. to take the risk of learning to trust again.

  251. Because when you've been in those hell holes

  252. of fear and everything feels like sinking sand,

  253. it's hard to know where to lean. Hard to know

  254. where to trust. But today, on Mother's Day, there

  255. is a father. There is your precious God. And

  256. he's patiently waiting for you. Just like a tender,

  257. kind -hearted, persuasive mum. I want to tell

  258. you a story. I have six grandchildren. I have

  259. three that are Aussies and three that are British.

  260. So my Aussies are called Leela Kuparilani. And

  261. I took the youngest, Alani, to the park. And

  262. she was playing, running, crazy. And I was just

  263. captivated because in the middle of this park

  264. was a really steep slide. And there was a dad

  265. and he picked up his little toddler about two

  266. years old and he climbed up right to the top

  267. with this little boy, sat him on the top and

  268. it's like, go son, come on man up and be my man

  269. for the hour. This little boy was having none

  270. of it. He clinged onto that slide for dear life,

  271. clinged onto his dad, and his dad's trying to

  272. peel him off to sit him on a thing. And the more

  273. the dad is trying to peel him off, the more the

  274. child is clinging, and it becomes a full tug

  275. of war on the top of the slide. Dad is now getting

  276. a little bit angry, agitated, because he's feeling

  277. humiliated. And he says, come on, son. At which

  278. point they went, and we have all hell at the

  279. top of the slide. So Mama starts climbing the

  280. slide, gets up to the top, sits on the top of

  281. the slide, scoots in next to her son, who's not

  282. letting go of anything, and just begins chatting

  283. to him. Everyone around is now, hurry up, we

  284. want to go on the slide. But she's in her bubble

  285. with her boy. She begins talking to him. Slowly

  286. he releases one hand, then he releases another

  287. hand. And she persuades him to just scoot down

  288. that slide about two metres. And she catches

  289. him. She then begins to repeat this again and

  290. again until finally he lets go of the top instantly.

  291. Boom, he's right down there. And it was a huge

  292. slide. Boom at the bottom, he scoots off. Mummy,

  293. I've done it. So dad steps in and says, come

  294. on, boy, let's do it. No. I don't trust you.

  295. You see, that gentle mother's heart has got hold

  296. of him. I want to say there is a God who sees

  297. you. He understands some of the panic and the

  298. alarm and some of the complexity of all the mental

  299. health and things. And it isn't just a macho

  300. moment of man up, jump. God understands how those

  301. seasons of fear can really break you, dominate

  302. you. And he's ready to sit with you. And do a

  303. long conversation. Scoot up right next to you,

  304. put his arm around you and say, come on. Because

  305. why? Because he loves you. And you see, love

  306. breaks fear. Perfect love casts out, drives out

  307. fear. Romans chapter 8. for you have not received

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  308. again a spirit of fear, but you have received

  309. a spirit of papa, daddy, that cries in you, I

  310. got a daddy, I'm safe. I'm sure it goes something

  311. like that. And you see, that's what the enemy's

  312. done. He has so saturated our psyche, our worldview,

  313. whether it's from our marriage to our church.

  314. What's going to happen to the church? Is it going

  315. to fall in the river? Is it not going to fall

  316. in the river? Is the river going to fall in the

  317. church? Yes, Jesus. Oh no, Jesus. How many you

  318. get? And so many nightmares and scenarios begin

  319. to play out. And before we know what's happened,

  320. they've become our reality. People are dangerous.

  321. And we withdraw. And we cling on to the wrong

  322. thing and scream at the wrong people. But I want

  323. to say to you on this Mother's Day, God is waiting

  324. for you. But will you trust him? Will you let

  325. him scoot up next to you and sit with you and

  326. say, come on, sweetheart. I want to do life with

  327. you. Again and again around us, people have lost

  328. their ability to really trust. People really

  329. believed in marriage and then they were abandoned.

  330. Not going there. Smarter, wiser now. They really

  331. loved their dad and father, but then it got abusive

  332. and dominating and violent. Not going there.

  333. Loved my workplace. Really enjoyed going to work.

  334. But then one day I was laid off and everyone

  335. else knew and I just felt humiliated. Didn't

  336. feel I can trust. Really trusted my friends.

  337. Told them everything. And then one day I found

  338. out on social media and they ghosted me and I

  339. was out. There's so many different circumstances

  340. and losses that leave us feeling vulnerable.

  341. But I want you today on Mother's Day to know

  342. that you have a father who's tender, who's ready

  343. to come and sit alongside you in every fearful

  344. and anxious space of your life. And he wants

  345. to give you confidence again. In verse 33, we

  346. read this. Seek first the kingdom of God above

  347. everything else. And live righteously. And he

  348. will give you everything you need. So I wonder,

  349. what is your priority? Are you really putting

  350. Jesus in that central place? Are you really seeking

  351. him? And then as you get that right, everything

  352. else comes right. You see... As you look to this

  353. God who really, really loves you, it will create

  354. the right atmosphere for you to live healthy.

  355. There's some fearful atmospheres. I felt some

  356. of you hate the night time, hate the dark time.

  357. It's like that's a trigger. And God just wants

  358. to come right in there and say, no, delete. I

  359. want you to know that I'm sitting right there.

  360. I've scooted in right next to you in the dark

  361. time and I'm going to break every repetitive

  362. dream and nightmare and you don't have to fear

  363. night time anymore. I am with you and I'm going

  364. to create a healthy atmosphere even in the night

  365. times. So verse 34 says, don't worry about tomorrow.

  366. For tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today

  367. has enough trouble for itself. I don't know about

  368. you, but for many of us, if we run homes, run

  369. businesses, how many of you like a plan? Come

  370. on, let me see the planners. Confess all. How

  371. many of you are control freaks with your plans?

  372. Yeah, I am. I love my plan to work. How many

  373. of you love your plan to work? So we make a plan.

  374. We want it. You know, I sit on several boards.

  375. I want a one -year plan, three -year plan, five

  376. -year plan. And we write these incredible plans.

  377. Financial forecast, growth statistic. How many

  378. of you know what I'm talking about? How many

  379. of you have shredded them in the last six months?

  380. You know, since COVID, it is just a nightmare.

  381. I do these plans. I've got the algorithms. I

  382. know where I'm going. What happened? In the shredder.

  383. So much has changed. I don't like it. I really

  384. don't like it. I don't like all the uncertainty,

  385. the chaos. I like to live with a plan. But guess

  386. what? God says, Get over it. Don't worry about

  387. tomorrow. And so in my office now, we have a

  388. little mantra when they all come running in.

  389. What are we doing, Rachel? What are we doing,

  390. 27? You know, got an invite for November 27.

  391. I said, give me a break. And we have this little

  392. mantra, just one step at a time. That's all one

  393. step at a time. I can live. You see, God gives

  394. us a capacity. And his capacity is, One step

  395. at a time. One day at a time. One at a time.

  396. I've got grace for one day. He's got grace for

  397. eternity. Let him sort eternity. I'll sort one

  398. day in Jesus' name. And I want to break the pressure

  399. of trying to always be ahead. Because actually

  400. what I find is if we over plan, we just become

  401. controlling. We can't plan everything, but God

  402. has a plan. And God's going to provide and God's

  403. going to take care and God's going to sort it

  404. and God's going to make it. How many of you believe

  405. that? And I want to speak to you. Some of you

  406. in businesses, some of you are trying to sell

  407. properties. Some of you, and you're like, we

  408. need to get this done. We've got deadlines. This

  409. needs to be done. And how many of you know, you

  410. give God your plan and he just seems to go, yeah,

  411. whatever. Seriously, God, that's not nice. My

  412. husband preaches this. God is good. We sang it.

  413. God is good and I've witnessed it. But I've also

  414. witnessed God is not nice and I've witnessed

  415. it. He takes me right up to the nth degree and

  416. I'm falling over the cliff and he says, it's

  417. okay, I've got a plan. God, you better have because

  418. I'm about dying right now. How many of you know

  419. what I'm talking about? So, Gordon, I just wonder

  420. if you can come just for a second. I wonder where

  421. your trust levels are. Because you see, I just

  422. keep feeling, if you could just stand behind

  423. me, put your hand up. Will you let go? You see,

  424. I ask Gordon because I know him and he's usually

  425. nice most of the time. I don't think he will

  426. just skip and let me. Will you? Not worth my

  427. life. But you see, are you ready to let go and

  428. let God? To lean into the goodness of God? To

  429. trust him? To make a way when there seems to

  430. be no way. Because you see, God wants to say,

  431. I want to awaken you to trust. I want to awaken

  432. you. I want to align you. And I want to advance

  433. you. I'm actually, I've done my creative. I'm

  434. on it quite a bit. Awaken, align, advance. What's

  435. he going to awaken? Thank you. He didn't let

  436. me fall. He's going to awaken you to the God

  437. that sees you. Can you see him? He sees right

  438. where you are. He sees all the tensions. He sees

  439. all the pains. And he says, right now, I see

  440. you. Then he aligns you with everything that

  441. heaven is saying over you. And he says, come

  442. on, don't be afraid. He then advances you into

  443. the kingdom of God. You see, as mothers, we have

  444. the privilege to birth. All my friends say, Rachel,

  445. you didn't really do a very good job birthing.

  446. And I said, why not? I birthed Nicola, my daughter,

  447. she's now 42, in 38 minutes. And I birthed David,

  448. my son, in 12. So yeah, I didn't make a big deal

  449. of it. It was fast. And everyone said, that must

  450. be fantastic. Actually, I shook with shock for

  451. about three hours. Like, what in the world just

  452. happened there? But we birth. And we all birth

  453. in very different ways. And we all have very

  454. different experiences. But one thing that is

  455. common about moms is something that was not now

  456. is. It's a mystery. It's a wonder. It's fantastic.

  457. It's terrible. But we birth. So come on. Are

  458. you going to leave a legacy life Bible? Is there

  459. something in you that you know? That you've got

  460. a birth. It's got to come alive. You know, we've

  461. just had Easter. And we always celebrate. We

  462. carry resurrection life. And we're always excited

  463. about that. And we have Easter Sunday. He is

  464. risen. He's risen indeed. Come on, practice with

  465. me. He's, Jesus is alive. He's alive, Easter

  466. Sunday. Monday comes, we forget. Is Jesus alive

  467. today? Is He living today? Does He want to birth

  468. life through you today? And you see, you're called

  469. to be life people, to break every fear, every

  470. shackle, every mentality. We are called to reverse

  471. the curse of the enemy. And there's so much fear

  472. and there's so much mental health issues. But

  473. we have a Saviour and He's a life giver. Jesus

  474. said in John 10, 10, I've come to give you life,

  475. abundant life. And my purpose is to give them

  476. a rich, satisfying life. So come on, we need

  477. to shift some atmospheres. We're living in an

  478. atmosphere of darkness, sludge, fear, anxiety.

  479. Don't risk safeguarding. Lord, help us. I don't

  480. know if you have that here, but it's one of the

  481. main difficulties that we have to do a safeguarding

  482. assessment on every meeting, everything we do.

  483. I might jump off here and break a leg. But we

  484. have a God who says, are you ready to risk? Are

  485. you ready for some courageous insanity where

  486. you will just let go and lean into the goodness

  487. of God and know He will catch you? Many things

  488. don't make sense, but it isn't nonsense. Many

  489. things you look at and you think, what is going

  490. on? But God's got a plan. It's a Deuteronomy

  491. 30 verse, 19 says this. I want you to read it

  492. with me. What does it say? This day. Which day?

  493. This Mother's Day, 2026. Say it one more time.

  494. This day, I call the heavens, read it with me,

  495. and the earth as witnesses against you that I

  496. have set before you life, Death, blessings, curses.

  497. Now, choose life so that you and your may live.

  498. You see, what we choose today starts a domino

  499. effect. You start a rumble that goes through

  500. your... Family line. This region. This generation.

  501. We start a life choice that breaks fear. And

  502. come on, you are called Life Church. Don't let

  503. the devil intimidate you and become Death Church.

  504. You're not going to choose death, are you? We're

  505. choosing? You're not going to choose curses.

  506. You're choosing? Now choose it. Because it will

  507. give you life and for your children. Come Holy

  508. Spirit. So I want to just close. And I want to

  509. ask you, have you chosen life? Have you chosen

  510. Jesus to be right in the centre of your life?

  511. I love that you've come to church on Mother's

  512. Day. Thank you. Coming to church is being in

  513. a family, being seen, being loved. But coming

  514. to church can't save you, break the fears, break

  515. life patterns. Only Jesus can do that. So we

  516. have to come to Jesus and let Him change the

  517. way we think, the way we feel, the way we are.

  518. And receive that gift of Jesus into our lives.

  519. Then we can extend our hands and find family.

  520. Coming to church won't save you. It might just

  521. secure you a little, but it won't save you. It's

  522. coming to Jesus that will change you. So right

  523. now, I want to count to three. One, two, three.

  524. And if you're saying, yes, Jesus, I need you.

  525. I want you to just put your hands straight up

  526. and say, you know what, Rachel, you're right.

  527. Jesus is not in the right place in my life. I

  528. need him. And if that's you, maybe you've never

  529. given your life to Jesus. Mother's Day 26 is

  530. your day. Birth something new in your life. Maybe

  531. you have done it a long time ago, but you know,

  532. you've taken your wedding rings off. You're living

  533. a wrong life. But today you're putting your rings,

  534. that gold covenant ring back on. And you're saying,

  535. I'm yours. So I'm going to count to three. And

  536. if you're saying, yes, God, I want to wear a

  537. Jesus ring 24 -7. I'm just going to ask you to

  538. put your hand right up. One, two, three. If that's

  539. you, put it up. Thank you, sweetheart. Thank

  540. you. Thank you. I see your hands. I want you

  541. just to keep those hands up. And I want you to

  542. imagine you're taking hold of the hand of God.

  543. And He's taking hold of your hand and you're

  544. saying, thank you, God, you've got me. Amen.

  545. Then I want all of us in the room to pray a prayer.

  546. Can we do that? One, two, three. Jesus today,

  547. I give you my life. I'm sorry for the wrong things

  548. that I have done. But right now, I want you.

  549. Break the fear in my life. Let me know you love

  550. me and help me. Live the best life. Amen. Thank

  551. you, thank you for those hands. God really bless

  552. you. Can you give them a clap? Thank you. And

  553. I wonder if all of us can just stand. Because

  554. before we run out the back door and we do mum's

  555. day, photos, lunch, and I hope you have a fabulous

  556. day. As we just close, I wanna give you an opportunity

  557. and if the prayer team and the pastors will come.

  558. If you put your hand up to give your life to

  559. Jesus today and just saying, I really need to

  560. sort that. I'm gonna ask you to come to this

  561. right hand side and I'm just gonna ask some of

  562. the pastoral team to be here because I want them

  563. to pray with you so you really know that Jesus

  564. is in the right place in your life. Just come

  565. here. But for everyone else, Before you run out,

  566. if you know you need to leave some fierce stuff

  567. at the altar and just say, God, I want this off

  568. my life. It's become obsessive. It's controlled

  569. me and I hate it. Then I just want you to come

  570. down the front. And before we go, we want to

  571. pray for you. So prayer team, just come and just

  572. say, I need to shake off every fear because I

  573. know that God, you've called me to live free

  574. from fear. That's right. Just come. And we want

  575. to pray for you. We're not going to humiliate

  576. you or embarrass you, but we want to walk with

  577. you to make sure that this Mother's Day, you

  578. know, fear is broken off my life. And if prayer

  579. team, pastoral team can just gather around them,

  580. come, pray with them, help them. And as we worship,

  581. you just keep coming forward if you'd like someone

  582. to pray with you. Thank you for taking the time

  583. to listen to this week's message. We are so grateful

  584. for those who tune in each week and have given
