  1. Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to

  2. the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so

  3. glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe

  4. God will transform your life. Do today's message.

  5. I have a lot of word to give to you

  6. in a little bit of time. So I'm about to

  7. open up a fire hydrant and I need you to

  8. get ready to catch Okay, So I need you to

  9. get I need you to get your smartphone, your dumb phone.

  10. I need you to get your notepad out. I need

  11. you to write on a piece of paper because what

  12. I'm gonna share with you today is gonna teach you

  13. how to watch this. Build for the future. Is anybody

  14. planning to have a better future than they're living in currently?

  15. Right now? I don't think you heard me. Is anybody

  16. planning that this is the lowest, the worst, the smallest?

  17. Is anybody planning that everything in your life is about

  18. to transform and change? Okay, Today I'm about to teach

  19. you how to watch this. Write down the title of

  20. my message, build for the future, because most people only

  21. know how to worry about the future. And today I believe,

  22. through the word of God, he is going to give

  23. us instructions how to what is it build for the future. Now,

  24. I just got to give a little warning right now.

  25. If you're allergic to work, this message is not for you, okay,

  26. because some of y'all are trying to figure out how

  27. to win something. You're figuring out how to be given something,

  28. gifted something, and the things that God is bringing to

  29. your life, you might have to watch this assemble it.

  30. I need to let you know that God is not

  31. a magician. He doesn't build chairs. He hands you trees.

  32. Oh God, God's never built a caw ouch, but he

  33. has supplied what was needed to build the couch. Can

  34. I say it like this? God has never built the marriage.

  35. He's given two people the ability to build, Okay, to

  36. build themselves, and then they're gonna have to assemble. I'm

  37. preaching already. Y y'all wanted to warm up, but I

  38. need to help you if you're allergic to work. This

  39. next season is going to be frustrating because God's calling

  40. all of us to save the B word with me. Build.

  41. You better not have said that other word. I promise

  42. you you better not have And if you're gonna build

  43. for the future, you have to have instructions or standards

  44. to build by. And if you didn't listen to last

  45. week's message, I need you to go back and watch it.

  46. But we were talking about standards. And the thing about

  47. a standard is a standard is something by which everything

  48. else is measured. This is a standard for any construction.

  49. Your going to do one foot is twelve inches. It

  50. doesn't matter where you go and what you do, this

  51. is going to be the standard. And this right here

  52. is a standard. No matter where you go and what

  53. you do, this will be the standard and which you

  54. live your life by. Some of us have thrown this

  55. away and this away and trying to build something. And

  56. today I'm asking you, would you please embrace the standard

  57. of God's word so that you can build something that

  58. will everybody say. Last we just sang the song, the

  59. wind came, the rain blew, But my life was built

  60. on you. That means you have to have a firm foundation.

  61. And today I want to teach Transformation Church how this

  62. church is about to build. And I don't want to

  63. say it with faith because I need you to understand

  64. that this is the least impact that this church will

  65. ever have. I don't need everybody to believe it. I

  66. said it in a room of three hundred people, starting

  67. from the bottom. Now we're here, you understand what I'm saying.

  68. But I'm alla, this is the least. This is the

  69. easiest you'll ever get a parking spot in this church.

  70. You leaving fifteen minutes early right now because I gotta

  71. beat the traffic. Baby, you're ready. Because there's a world

  72. that is in need of a hospital. And Jesus said

  73. I came to seek and to save those who were lost.

  74. I want to let you know we're This is scary

  75. to save for some of y'all, but we're about to build.

  76. Look at your neighbord say We're about to build. We're

  77. about to build. The truth of the matter is what

  78. God is doing here has been a pre sir to

  79. what He has desired and designed to do in our ministry.

  80. And today I want to give you an opportunity to

  81. be a part of that. And so the subtitle to

  82. this message is the church that I'm a part of,

  83. Because many people have gone to church all their life

  84. and not known what type of church they're a part of.

  85. You just went to the church your mama and then

  86. told you had to go to or you just went

  87. to the church where you knew your friend, or you

  88. went to the church that your baby mama was going to,

  89. or you went to the church that they had all

  90. to fine gods, or you went to the church. See

  91. you understand what I'm saying, But did you know the

  92. type of church you are a part of? Today? In

  93. this forward series, I want to give you a clarity

  94. that's going to allow you to stand with faith and

  95. take up your space a part of this vision because

  96. we're about to build for the future by knowing the

  97. type of church that were a part of. Why does

  98. this make sense because Philippians three thirteen, this is our

  99. anchor scripture for the entire series and this entire year.

  100. As we are going forward, it says, no, dear brothers

  101. and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus

  102. on this one thing. It's not forward that I'm focusing on,

  103. because I thought the scripture would have been like, focus

  104. on one thing, go forward, But the Bible says, I

  105. need to focus on this one thing. What is it forgetting?

  106. All year? Some of y'all need to focus on forgetting

  107. how they hurt you. That's what's keeping you from going forward.

  108. If you just let them go, you could actually go forward.

  109. But every time you smell burberry, you know what I'm

  110. talking about. Every time you see a Krispy Krean, that's

  111. where he left me. And I had a CHRISTH. Green

  112. doughnut and that's why I'm big now. All I do

  113. with it CHRISTHP Green? Like, do you understand what I'm saying?

  114. If you would focus on forgetting? But most some of

  115. us are dead set on remembering just in case I

  116. ever get in that situation again. I don't trust God.

  117. I trust what happened, and God is saying, if you

  118. want to go forward, I need you to focus. Some

  119. of you are been married for years and the reason

  120. you can't find passion is because you won't focus on forgetting.

  121. There are children in here that've been mad at their

  122. parents for fifteen years. They did the best they could

  123. with what they had. They didn't have the emotional intelligence

  124. to be there when you actually needed them. And now

  125. you are therapized, and you got a better job, and

  126. you made it out the hood and you got a

  127. six figure job, and you still have no connection. And

  128. they only got ten years left on this earth, and

  129. you're gonna be standing at their gravesite, weeping tears, saying

  130. things you could say to them right now. But that

  131. means you're gonna have to focus on forget it. And

  132. I know you feel justified, and I know it becomes

  133. a shield. But God is asking, will you trust me

  134. because everything is ahead? He said, forgetting the past and

  135. looking everybody shout at me forward. You ain't shouted at me,

  136. shout at me forward. There it is at what lies ahead.

  137. This is gonna take a press Ain't no automatic doors

  138. in this next thing. I'm gonna have to work at

  139. some things, it says, I press on to reach the

  140. end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for

  141. which God through Christ Jesus is calling us. Somebody say forward,

  142. I prophetically speak over your life that this will be

  143. the last week that certain things occupy your mind's face.

  144. There will be things that you will forget because you're

  145. going to surrender them. You're not going to hold them.

  146. You're going to say, God, I no longer want to

  147. be angry when this topic comes up. God, I no

  148. longer want to have rage when this God, I don't

  149. want to be offended when my name is not called

  150. Holy Spirit. I want to give over. Some of y'all

  151. are doing it right now today. God, I'm surrendering every

  152. piece of me that could be offended, every piece of

  153. me that can have a right. I am giving over

  154. because I desire to move and in this church during

  155. my sabbatical, I had to do that as the pastor

  156. of your church, of this church that has seen so

  157. many great miracles. The thing that is so hard is

  158. when you see God do great things, you're expecting him

  159. to do it the same way again. And the Holy

  160. Spirit told me very clearly. He said, Michael, you're looking

  161. at the past for a projection of the future, and

  162. I've moved on to something else. The scripture would say

  163. it like this, the cloud has moved. Y'all know when

  164. the children of Israel, their provision was provided as they

  165. stayed and they followed the cloud. And many people they

  166. would set up their tent and they would be like, whoa,

  167. we get to stay here for a minute, and then

  168. the cloud would move and they'd be like pack it up,

  169. time to go, and be like, we ain't even been

  170. here for no time, And they said, we have to

  171. continue to follow the cloud. And some of us have

  172. become obsessed with staying where God used to move. And

  173. today I've had to hit delete on my memory bank. God,

  174. I've had to clear my storage. I've had to say, God,

  175. if you if you don't do it like this again,

  176. I'm okay with that because as long as you doing

  177. something and I'm a part of it, I'm okay with that.

  178. And I'm telling you some of you, today is the

  179. day I feel the presence of God that you are

  180. going to move forward because God has something new that

  181. is just up ahead. If you would let go of

  182. what was let me say it to you how He

  183. gave it to Isaiah and Isaiah forty three eighteen. I

  184. feel the presence of God already. My help is coming.

  185. It says, but forget all that? Can you forget the

  186. greatest thing He's done in your life? And I'm not

  187. saying don't reverence it. I'm not saying don't think about

  188. it as something that you're grateful for. I'm saying, don't

  189. idolize it. Make him the standard, not that the standard.

  190. Did y'all hear what I just said. You can't make

  191. what happened the standard. You have to make him the standard.

  192. So I love God's variety of doing miracles. He never

  193. did it the same way. Some people he told him

  194. to go wash and they were healed. Some people he

  195. took spit and put it on their eyes and they

  196. was healed. Some other people he just spoke the word

  197. and they were here. He never did the same thing

  198. the same way because he wants to prove he can

  199. do it anyway. Y'all missed it. I said to God,

  200. I serve can do it anyway he needs to. The

  201. situation can be dead and he can raise it back

  202. to life. Oh God, But that means I can't be

  203. obsessed with the method. And some of us have pledged

  204. our allegiance to a way that God does it instead

  205. of the waymaker. He says, but forget of that, forget

  206. all that. Say that with me, but forget all that.

  207. You could say that with a little attitude, with a

  208. little hoods and be like, forget all that. Okay, Yeah,

  209. I like that. It's nothing. Look at the promise. It's

  210. nothing compared. Do you know? Do you know that God

  211. is so good that he never tells you to forget

  212. something that he doesn't plan to replace. He didn't say

  213. forget all that because he said forget all that because

  214. it's not worth being compared to the things that I'm about.

  215. He's giving you a promise that's attached to you letting go.

  216. It's like God's saying, I got something behind my back.

  217. If you would give me what you hold it on to,

  218. I will release what I have for you. But God

  219. show it to me, for that doesn't take faith. That

  220. means you don't trust me. Well is it bigger? Is

  221. it better? Is it more? Is it? It's what you need?

  222. And God said, it's not even worth being compared to

  223. what I'm gonna do. For I'm about to do something new.

  224. Do you see it? I have already begun. You do

  225. not see it? Do you? I'll make a pathway through

  226. the wilderness, and I will create rivers in dry wasteland.

  227. Those two scriptures I need you to meditate and read

  228. daily because some of you there have been scales on

  229. your eyes and on your mind that have to be

  230. washed over with the word of God. Some of you

  231. are in a desperate situation that it feels like nothing

  232. can change. I'm stuck. I owe them the money. This

  233. will not be different. I'm grieving, I'm hurting, and God says,

  234. even in that, I can bring rivers out of dry wasteland.

  235. What you consider something that you would throw things away in,

  236. I will allow it to spring forth and be the

  237. thing that nourishes others. It's time for us as a

  238. church to move forward. God. God has taken this church

  239. into a season of forward momentum. And I'm telling you

  240. this because there are some things that started at the

  241. beginning of this year when we went into time of

  242. prayer and fasting, and for everybody it's like, dang, this

  243. feels serious. Dang, this is a lie. Dang, this feels

  244. intense because this is the season. Do you not feel

  245. the climate of the world. Are you spiritually numb to

  246. what's happening right now? God is looking for somebody to

  247. be the light in all places. Oh God, He needs

  248. somebody that will not be thrown off by finances. Somebody

  249. that won't compromise their integrity because of a pretty face.

  250. Somebody that won't compromise what God has called them to

  251. do because of an opportunity. He needs somebody, say us,

  252. He's calling us. And the truth of the matter is

  253. many people are scared to go forward because they're trying

  254. to hold on to something in their past. But today

  255. God is saying there is no more time because we

  256. have to build for the future. So today I want

  257. to give you just some key things that I need

  258. you to value. Write down the word value, this, this,

  259. this is. This is a money word right here? Value?

  260. What do you value? But what do you value? Money?

  261. Come on? Talk to me, y'all know this is talk back, church.

  262. What do you value time? Relationships? Come on? Family? Results?

  263. Talk to me church? What do you value? You not everybody?

  264. What do you value? What'd you say? Peace? What'd you say? Mental? Health?

  265. My calling? What'd you say? Worship? Ah ya, y'all? Asky tie?

  266. What do you value? Sleep? Thank you? Somebody said something

  267. he said sleep pass. I'm barely making it through. Hey,

  268. help me? Fitness? What do you value food? Thank you?

  269. Because all these people hungry, Let me ask you a question.

  270. Whatever you value? How do you know you value it?

  271. You spend time, You spend money. That's a good word.

  272. You invest in it. How do you know what you value?

  273. You protect it? How do you know what you value?

  274. You honor it? Oh, somebody said the word you prioritize it.

  275. Don't tell me you value it if it is not

  276. a priority. You know what nobody said? God? Good night.

  277. Nobody in this church. She said, Ida you ain't saying aloud.

  278. He hear me, hear me, hear me, hear me, hear me,

  279. hear me. Here hear me. It's very difficult to say

  280. that you value God if you don't prioritize him. And

  281. because he's such a big god, we think he'll understand

  282. he's such a big god. Who's like, I'll get to that.

  283. Or man, they don't take all of that. And the

  284. fruit of our lives are showing what we value. Some

  285. of us value knowing what's going on a lot more

  286. than we should. Some of us value come on the

  287. opinion of people that you don't even know. Come on,

  288. think about it. And God's saying right now to us,

  289. we need to get our values watch this and our

  290. vision aligned. Values and vision has to be aligned. What

  291. do you see for yourself? If you value it, then

  292. you prioritize it. Cause a lot of people they come

  293. to me like Paus I, Mike, I got the vision,

  294. I wrote the vision down. I know what God's said,

  295. and they do not prioritize what it takes to see

  296. that vision come to past. Do you know how many

  297. people tell me they want to get healthy. Do you

  298. know how many people tell me they're gonna write the book.

  299. Do you know how many people tell me like, I

  300. promise you give me your email because I'm gonna send

  301. you the san and there is no fruit because there's

  302. no priority. Do you know how many relationships tell me

  303. that they love each other, but they're business partners. They

  304. don't prioritize learning each other, learning how to communicate with

  305. each other. Do you know how many people have kids

  306. and don't prioritize them. Oh God, you had them, but

  307. you don't value them. What I'm telling you is the

  308. vision you have for your family, your business, your relationship,

  309. your mind, your spirit has to align with values. And

  310. that's why most people have a vision with no values,

  311. a mission with no method, a dream with no devotion,

  312. direction with no daily practice. What are you trying to say,

  313. Pastor Mike? Is good to see it, but sight with

  314. no standard leads to self sabotage. Some people in this

  315. room are so frustrated because they see the future. They

  316. see what they could be, They see what God is saying,

  317. They see themselves being generous, They see themselves walking in

  318. their calling. They see themselves out of that addiction. But

  319. they do not have any standards. So my sight without

  320. standards makes be like, well, forget it, I'm gonna just

  321. try it one more time, and it leads to self sabotage.

  322. But today I believe the spirit of God is going

  323. to allow you to move forward and give you the

  324. ability to build for the future. I've been thinking about this,

  325. and the easiest way to interrupt a house being built

  326. is to not give the work site something. It would

  327. be to take something away from the work site. If

  328. you want to ruin any house being built, just take

  329. away the standard. I don't care how good you can hammer,

  330. how good you can cut. You want to ruin and

  331. have a lopsided house, steal all the standards. Okay, what

  332. if I told you the enemy is not trying to

  333. steal your sight as much as he's trying to steal

  334. your standards. He wants your house, your life, your mind lopsided.

  335. So what he's trying to do is not no you

  336. can see it. You can have vision, but steal your standards,

  337. no character, no integrity. Anybody can run in and anybody

  338. can run out. Anybody can steal your peace, anybody can

  339. take your joy. If he wants to take away the

  340. thing being built. He's taking away the standards. Where have

  341. you let the standard go? Pastor Mike, why are you

  342. talking about this? Because God wants to give you standards

  343. to build this next season of your life. That's what

  344. he gave Moses when he took the children of Israel

  345. out of slavery. He put them in the wilderness to

  346. give them the ten Commandments or the ten standards they're

  347. supposed to live by, because it would have been the

  348. quickest way for them to get in the Promised Land.

  349. But what did they do. They rebelled against the new standard,

  350. and they didn't want to do it so bad that

  351. they wished to go back to slavery. How many times

  352. have we asked for peace but started chaos. God's telling

  353. you bridle your tongue. But they ain't gonna never just

  354. smork me like that, you know what I'm saying. They're

  355. messing with a real one right here. So if they're

  356. gonna come in and then you just come on, y'all,

  357. I just blacked out. We got that one word if

  358. they say that one word, and I just blacked out,

  359. And God saying, hold on, can we have a new

  360. standard there? Could you let that be in the past. Oh,

  361. because you're thinking about me just telling you to hold

  362. on the people in the past and all these things

  363. in the past. God said, there's some habits that you

  364. have married to your character. Oh God, there are some

  365. things that you have claimed out of your mouth demonically.

  366. This is just me. You've made a covenant with the

  367. areas of your life that are chosen habits that God's saying.

  368. You need to let that go. Forget that old thing.

  369. You don't got to get mad every time somebody says

  370. something crazy to you. You can actually feel bad for them.

  371. That is so sad that your vocabulary is that limited,

  372. that you are that insecure that you have to talk

  373. to me like that. God bless you. But your whole

  374. day is ruined now because what does you write this down?

  375. Building with standards is wise, Building with standards is. Building

  376. your relationship with standards is wise. Building your family with

  377. standards is wise. Building your business with standards is why.

  378. Building your friendship with standards is wise. Where are the standards?

  379. Why can people talk about people to you? Why can

  380. they vent to you so easily? Why no, I'm they

  381. don't even know it's not okay for them? To do that,

  382. and you're now weighed down with problems and issues that

  383. ain't even yours. But you get a compliment. You just

  384. always there for me. I don't need to be there

  385. for you like that. Oh, y'all, don't hear me. You've

  386. worn it as a badger honor that all you get.

  387. I can just type, No, they're dumping on you. They're

  388. putting trash on you. Now you're looking at other people

  389. crazy and they ain't even do nothing to you. There

  390. she go, look at her. Yet, now you have turned

  391. something that isn't even your burden and just something you

  392. have to work through. Wow, God, building with standards is wise?

  393. Did your family know there's boundaries? Quiet? Does your family?

  394. Did your Does your mama know that she can't talk

  395. to your wife like that? Yeah? Building your marriage with

  396. standards is wise. You you know that cousin can't talk

  397. to your kids like that? Well, when I was worries

  398. any uncle and auntie so sorry, you got to earn

  399. the trust to reprimand my kids. You could talk to

  400. me about it. And if I trust you, you will

  401. know I trust you because we've talked about the standard.

  402. Correct them people in my life, they know they can

  403. correct my kids that they've been given authority. But just

  404. because you old don't mean you smart. Oh, let me stop.

  405. Let me get back to the message. Just because you

  406. got great don't mean you got wisdom. I know some

  407. dumb old people, but some of you have subjected your

  408. children to unnecessary, abnormal use by your family members because

  409. you have not clarified the standard. Oh god, how many

  410. of us. Never mind, I'm not even gonna go there

  411. because I just felt I felt we was about to

  412. build up some family trauma right there. Matthew seven twenty four.

  413. Let me go back to the words. So y'all can, okay,

  414. Matthew seven twenty four. Therefore, everyone who hears these words,

  415. this is Jesus talking. Everyone who hears these words of

  416. mine and puts them into say it with me. Practice

  417. So you can't just hear it. You gotta practice it.

  418. Coming to church on Sunday and not practice it does

  419. not help your life. Therefore, everyone who hears these words

  420. of mine and puts it into is like a wise

  421. man who built his house on the rock. Oh, this

  422. is the song we sang. The rain came, the streams rose,

  423. and the winds blew and beat against the house, Yet

  424. it did not fall. May that be your testimony of

  425. twenty twenty six that whatever comes, I'm not gonna fall.

  426. I built my house on the rock. You can talk

  427. about me, but I'm not gonna fall. You can say

  428. whatever you want, but I'm not gonna fall. This family,

  429. this church is built on a solid rock. I'm not falling.

  430. I can't fall because I'm attached to something. Sure it says,

  431. yet it did not fall because it had watched this word.

  432. It's foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these

  433. words of mine comes to church every Sunday, listen to

  434. podcast while they're working out, listens to the Bible app

  435. and the Bible Plan, and does not put what they

  436. hear into practice. Is like a foolish man who built

  437. his house on the sand. Do you know what the

  438. sand represents? Something that can shift. So if you build

  439. your life on money, it shifts every day. That's why

  440. it's called currency because it has to move. So it's moving,

  441. and the stock market goes up and the stark market

  442. goes down. You're depressed when you get more money, are

  443. depressed when you get no money, and you're happy when

  444. you get more. It's not something to build your life on.

  445. You have to build your life on something solid. You

  446. can't build your life on somebody's opinion of you, because

  447. one decision you make could make them feel different about you.

  448. You have to build it on a sure foundation, which

  449. is the Word of God about to prove it to

  450. you and the Bible. The rain came down on this

  451. person too. The streams rose, and the winds blew and

  452. beat against the house. But they didn't have the same

  453. testimony as the wise builder. It fell with a great crash. Today.

  454. I came to give you a warning that the crash

  455. is coming if you do not build on Christ. I

  456. know people whose marriage is hanging on by this little

  457. piece of thread. I know people whose sanity is hanging on.

  458. And sometimes listen, maybe I'm being too vulnerable. Sometimes I'm

  459. just praying, all right, God, just let it crash now,

  460. because some of y'all just need to start over. Some

  461. of you are so because you won't get it until

  462. you hit rock bottom. And sometimes I'm not saying it's

  463. for everybody, but I feel very strong to say this,

  464. stop lying, stop trying to hold it together in secret,

  465. let the consequences be what they may, and surrender what

  466. you have done to God into those around you that

  467. still love you and be able to watch him rebuild, resurrect, restore.

  468. But right now you're in limbo because you will not

  469. let go of what can't help you anyway. Write this

  470. point down going forward without the foundation, it's foolish. The

  471. first thing that you build when you build the house

  472. is what Building a foundation is not sexy, Like after

  473. you clear I've built a house before. So when you

  474. clear the land and you do all the other stuff,

  475. and they're like, we're about to pour the foundation, Like, yes,

  476. the foundation. We want to see walls and plumbing, and

  477. we want to see we want to decorate. But what

  478. they don't understand is if you get a fire, if

  479. you get a tornado we're in Oklahoma, if you get

  480. any type of thing, they can rebuild the house. If

  481. the foundation is good today, I'm asking you to pay

  482. attention to I didn't say a foundation, I said the foundation.

  483. First Corinthians, three ten. I'm giving you a lot of scripture,

  484. but I want you to build for the future. I

  485. want you to build on Jesus. First Corinthians, chapter three,

  486. verse ten. It says, because of God's grace to me,

  487. I have laid the foundation like an expert builder. Now

  488. others are building on it. I want all of us

  489. to build something that others can build on. Isn't the

  490. testimony that it wasn't just for me, but it was

  491. something that other people could build on after me. Okay,

  492. but whoever is building on this foundation must be very careful,

  493. for no one can lay any foundation other than the

  494. one we already have. Jesus Christ. You want to know

  495. what to build your life on the foundation he has

  496. a name, Jesus Christ. You want to build your marriage,

  497. build it on Jesus Christ. You want to build your family,

  498. build it on Jesus Christ. Verse twelve says anyone who

  499. builds on that foundation. I love this. I love God

  500. including all of us in the story. He said, as

  501. long as you got Jesus as the foundation, you can

  502. use a variety of materials. You can use gold, several jewels,

  503. would hay straw. I love this because he says all

  504. of us don't have to build the same thing. We

  505. just gotta build on the same thing. Oh God, we

  506. don't got my house don't got to look like yours.

  507. You might like an old colonial traditional style situation me

  508. I'm gonna have a mind. Don't give me no circles,

  509. give me straight lines, big tall museum. But guess what's

  510. the same. That's why I can celebrate other churches that

  511. do things differently, because as long as the foundation is

  512. Jesus beild, baby beal, y'all don't hear what I'm saying. Well,

  513. I don't like that, and I don't like that. It's okay,

  514. it's the foundation. Jesus bild baby veal. Well. They sing

  515. loud songs, they sing quiet songs. They sing with drums,

  516. they sing with strings. It don't matter. Is the foundation.

  517. Jesus build baby Bill, he said, Bill will gold, bell

  518. with silver, Bill with hey, bill with straw.

  519. But guess what It's gonna be judged. But on the

  520. judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each

  521. builder has done. The fire will show it if a

  522. person's work, WHOA, here's our word, has any value. If

  523. the person's work has any value, values are important to

  524. the vision that God has placed in your heart. My

  525. wife says it to me all the time, like this, Michael,

  526. is not okay that we get there. It's how we

  527. got there. You you ever, you ever showed up to

  528. an event and you got there and you were smiling,

  529. but it was hell getting there. You almost threw your

  530. kids out the car. And come on, let's let's have

  531. we said some words we had to repent for and

  532. your hair wasn't working. Come on, anybody else do you

  533. wear a hot church? Come on? And even getting the

  534. church this morning? You sitting here smiling right now, But

  535. you gotta say sorry after this, because sometimes we're so

  536. concerned about getting to the thing we saw that how

  537. we get there, we leave carnage behind. When you have values,

  538. it makes going to the vision. Watch this healthy. We

  539. can't build the house that God wants us to build,

  540. the life, the family, the ministry, the nonprofit. We can't

  541. build it. And there be bodies behind it. And too

  542. many people have built the thing but killed more people

  543. along the way, no good relationships. Everybody speaks bad about you.

  544. Why because they saw the vision more than they put

  545. it inside the values that God gave them. So today

  546. I'm going to give you the values of this church.

  547. In the next twenty five minutes, we're gonna be we're

  548. gonna be closing it. But I need to let you

  549. know that the values of this church is how we're

  550. about to build for the future. And I want you

  551. to know I don't believe these are just values that

  552. are for this church. These are values for the church.

  553. I'm not just talking about the organization. I'm talking about

  554. the organism that if you would embrace what God has

  555. given me as the thing that we're calling the Grade eight.

  556. You can write that down on your paper right now,

  557. because over the past ten years, you know, I've had

  558. the ability to try some things and see some things

  559. and figure some things out. And once you've been in

  560. something for a decade, you tell what you can tell

  561. what fits and what doesn't anymore, you can tell what

  562. was aspirational and what actually is authentic. And so today

  563. I stand here like I did almost eleven years ago,

  564. with full confidence. My knees aren't shaking today because I

  565. have too much proof of the type of church that

  566. God has called us to be. I have empirical data

  567. in the church walls and in culture as well that

  568. God has given us. And I want you to know

  569. what you have the opportunity to be a part of,

  570. because only what you do for Christ will last. So

  571. I need your help and going through these eight things,

  572. just put it on the top of your your page

  573. and put it on the wall. The grade eight eight

  574. is easy. We used to have fifty two things that

  575. we used to have the staff try to remember. Let

  576. me be honest, we wanted to talk about everything. You

  577. gotta be this and you gotta be that, and then

  578. we try to tell the church and it's like nobody

  579. remembers none of this. Can we make it simple? And

  580. can we make it memorable? And can we make it

  581. the things that we know are the unique things that

  582. God has called this church to do. And so as

  583. I give you these, there are gonna be ones that

  584. I'm praying that stick with you forever, and I want

  585. you to see how they actually impact your life and

  586. how you can become them by faith. These are the

  587. things that you want to move forward towards. These are

  588. the things that are gonna be the culture code of

  589. our church. Why you saying culture because the culture of

  590. what you put a vision in is the thing that

  591. either expands it or limits it. Everybody has a vision,

  592. but culture eats vision. For breakfast, you ever been somewhere,

  593. It's like, we have a vision to love everybody, but

  594. the culture is mean. It don't matter if you smile.

  595. Everybody feels the culture more than they see the vision.

  596. And a cold bishop said this to me before I

  597. was going over my message with him. He said, a

  598. code is something that unlocks into something else. If you

  599. find the culture and the cold, this unlocks the great

  600. things that God has forward. So today you have a

  601. part in this. You're gonna ask me a question. You're

  602. gonna say what type of church are we? Now, this

  603. is your only part. If you've never been a part

  604. of a choir, this is time for you to get

  605. in unison. Okay. So I'm gonna say like this, and

  606. you're gonna say what type of church are we? And

  607. then I'm gonna answer you. Okay, you're ready to practice?

  608. One two three? Okay, that was good, but you didn't participate.

  609. Neither did you. I saw, but I'm just playing. So

  610. we're gonna say it. I need you to do it

  611. to me loud. Okay, here we go, one two three.

  612. We are a church that values crazy faith. We believe

  613. God big, We do what seems small, and we see

  614. the impossible because it's only crazy until it happens. I'm

  615. not suggesting this to you, I'm telling you who we are.

  616. Well I'm usually in fear. No, you're a person of

  617. crazy faith. You gotta see it before you see it.

  618. If anxiety and fear and procrastination is clouding your thought today,

  619. start saying it. I'm a person of crazy faith. I

  620. see the impossible. I see things bigger than what's around me.

  621. Right now, Right now, everything around me has to expand

  622. because I just showed up and the God of the

  623. universe lives on the inside of me. There's a scripture

  624. that says everywhere my feet tried, that is territory that

  625. I can take for the kingdom. I'm a person of

  626. crazy faith. I got some work to do because most

  627. of you think I'm a person of crazy faith. The

  628. saddest testimony of this church would be if y'all watched

  629. me this close do all these impossible things that I'm

  630. showing you proof Like I give y'all receipts that nobody

  631. gives y'all. I be showing y'all my misspelled words. I

  632. be showing y'all the broken stuff. I'm trying to let

  633. you know I'm regular. I just really believe God. Oh God,

  634. he's no respect or persons. I got six months of

  635. TCC education that's tous of community college, right up the

  636. streets out no diploma, no paper, just a bill. Do

  637. you hear what I'm saying to you? If God can

  638. do it with me, if he can deliver me out

  639. of pornography, deliver me out of lyon, bring me into wholeness,

  640. give me visions that I can't make happen by myself,

  641. He can do it for you. Your whole life can look

  642. different three hundred and sixty five days from me, but

  643. some of y'all got more faith than that. Your whole

  644. life can look different one month from that, But some

  645. of y'all got more crazy faith than that. This time

  646. next week, I'm telling you somebody's gonna get the faith

  647. to believe it. And there's one person in here that

  648. will be like the woman in the Bible that says,

  649. by this time tomorrow, if you believe God, he can

  650. do it, and He can do it, do you make

  651. some crazy faith knowing? Let me give you all a receipt.

  652. I usually show y'all this paper. Y'all seen this a

  653. million times where the Spirit Baker Vince Center will be

  654. Transformation Church. But I got a new one to show

  655. you today. I found this this week. This is from

  656. May two thousand, the twenty second of May two thousand.

  657. This says, relationship goes to the movie. Y'all never seen

  658. this one before. Less than one month after the book

  659. came out, in the middle of the pandemic, the Holy

  660. Spirit said, write down what I told you, and I

  661. wrote down that this will go from a message to

  662. a book, it would be music, and it will be

  663. a movie. And this seemed completely crazy until last week.

  664. For everybody that doesn't know, Devon Franklin called me and

  665. I was able to. On the same day, he called

  666. me and asked me, have you ever thought about making

  667. it a movie? God says, send them what I told you.

  668. I didn't have to go and make something up because

  669. he wanted to prove he gave it to me. If

  670. you look on the sheet, put it on the screen.

  671. The main character's name Amazon Divine. The writers didn't come

  672. up with that. God gave that name to me. Leah's

  673. name and Brenda's name. Breed was even my fake Leah

  674. on the thing, bring you a superstar. Look at her,

  675. just pride, sit down. I want you to. I want

  676. you to see the young lady on the end. That's

  677. our friend. That's Israel Holten's w and I knew it

  678. needed to be somebody multi ethnic, and I put the

  679. name Trina in the movie. Her name is Trees. I

  680. still got the true in there. See, y'all, don't hear

  681. what I'm saying, because you see in part you prophesy

  682. in part you don't see the whole thing, feel the stint.

  683. But because I had the audacity. Six years later, I

  684. don't know if you know, but in twenty four hours,

  685. it was the number one movie on Amazon Prize. Y'all.

  686. Don't want to celebrate with me relationship golf with number one?

  687. Oh my, I can't wait to find a church that

  688. will celebrate the impossible with me. I can't wait to

  689. find people. Okay, you don't start that. Because eyes have

  690. not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered

  691. into the hearts of man, the things that God has

  692. prepare for you. You don't see it now, but you will. Okay,

  693. it's only crazy now. People ask me, what when's your

  694. next movie? Come about? Seventeen days ago, you didn't believe

  695. one could happen. Now you asked me, you got number two? Yeah,

  696. I do. Don't wait on me. My phone is loaded, y'all,

  697. don't hear it? Okay, let me sigh. Write this down,

  698. and I want you to believe this. At your core

  699. God's plan for you. It's bigger than your plan for you.

  700. Write it down and believe it. Say it until you

  701. don't doubt it. I cannot think of thought that is

  702. better for me than the thoughts that God has already

  703. thought about me. When you start really believing that, it

  704. may you start believing in crazy faith. And I declare

  705. over your house, You're gonna begin to start believing God

  706. for things your family said could never happen. You're gonna

  707. believe God for stuff you have never seen before in

  708. your family line. You're gonna begin to see things that

  709. nobody has ever done. Why Because if God's gonna do

  710. it through somebody, he might as well do it through me.

  711. Who got that testimony? If you can use anything, Lord, huh,

  712. who's ready to see God do the impossible? All right?

  713. Somebody shot at me? Crazy faith? All right? This is

  714. your turn? One two three? What type of church are we?

  715. One two three? We are a church that values being hot.

  716. We are humble, open and transparent. People watch this of integrity.

  717. I've had people abuse this language and say I'm humble,

  718. open in transparency. I'm gonna tell you how I feel.

  719. Hold on, Wait, we're humble, open and transparent people of integrity? Why?

  720. Because God doesn't bless who you pretend to be. He

  721. blesses who you really are. More than half of y'all

  722. know my testimony because I say it every week. Let's

  723. see if y'all listen. I was a liar, a manipulator,

  724. I was addicted to point. Okay, all right, let's stop me. Okay,

  725. let's stop. The only reason you can repeat my testimony

  726. is because I rehearse it. I'm humble, open and transparent

  727. enough to tell it every time I get an opportunity,

  728. and anybody that's close around me knows that I don't

  729. just do it on the platform. I'll be in quick trip,

  730. I'll be at the mall, I'll be at the basketball court,

  731. I'll be at an NBA game. And if I get

  732. out in a conversation with somebody, guess what's coming out

  733. my testimony. Because at the end of the day, me

  734. looking good to you does nothing for your salvation, and

  735. it makes me more prideful and away from God. And

  736. there's a few things God can't stand and he can't

  737. stand pride. And so when I tell my testimony, it

  738. does two things. It makes me relatable and humble. They oh,

  739. Pastor Michael to Well, let me tell you who I

  740. really am. You see the title, but let me tell

  741. you who I am without the grace of God. And

  742. too many people are trying to say faith because they

  743. don't believe that the authentic version of them is the

  744. anointed version of them. I'm anointed because I'm authentic. I'm

  745. not anointed because I'm studied. I'm not anointed because I'm better.

  746. I'm anointed because I'm authentic. That's why I say He

  747. doesn't bless who you pretend to be. He blesses who

  748. you really are. And if you sell out fully to

  749. who you are right now, but you're open to Him

  750. bringing you a little further, you'll be full committed to

  751. that next version of you. I am not who I'm

  752. gonna be. You've never been led by the pastor I'll

  753. be next year. Oh God. The reason I say stick

  754. around because I'm gonna get better. The reason that I

  755. say keep coming back because I'm gonna get better, I'm

  756. never gonna be stuck here, because I'm moving for I'm

  757. not going to become a prisoner of today. But that

  758. means I gotta be humble, open and transparent about my flaws.

  759. I gotta be self aware about where I miss it.

  760. I gotta be honest about about how I feel. Because

  761. some of you have been pretending too long and now

  762. you think it's who you really are. You've been acting

  763. so long that you're forgetting which parts of it is

  764. you and which parts of it you're trying to make

  765. people feel, and thinking some of the lies you've believe

  766. have now become the character you play. That's why you're

  767. so tired. You're tired. The Bible would say it like this,

  768. You're weary. Twenty twenty six has felt like a whole

  769. year already, and it's February. I mean, come on, it's February.

  770. What It's February eighth, and you acting like it's August.

  771. The seasons don't even know what time it is right now.

  772. It feels like spring time yesterday in Tulsa and it

  773. was a snowy tundra last week. What is going on

  774. but weariness? But there's an answer for that. On the Foundation.

  775. His name is Jesus. He says, come to me, all

  776. who are weary and heavy leading, and guess what I'll

  777. give you rest. And that's why you gotta be humble,

  778. open and transparent. Can I say it plain? Tell your testimony.

  779. You know. One of the most beautiful things that I

  780. saw in the movie Relationship Goes is there was two couple.

  781. There was a young lady and a couple from our

  782. church telling their real life testimony in the movie. Page

  783. was one of the people telling her testimony. It's reaching

  784. people she went to high school with. It's reaching people

  785. that she ain't talked to in years. Moe and Connie,

  786. we're telling their testimony. What you don't know is Mo

  787. picked me up when I was speaking for a conference

  788. in Miami, and I gotta tell this testimony because you

  789. gotta see how beautifully God weaves our stories together. If

  790. we'll surrender. He was supposed to be picking up Carl Lyntz,

  791. and he was way higher on the totem pole at

  792. the time than I was. And somebody's like, Mo, you

  793. got demoted to Mike Todd. I'm a true story. He

  794. comes to pick us up. We're nobody. Nobody knows us.

  795. We're not even speaking at this conference and they take

  796. us to this bougie restaurant to eat. All the food

  797. was nasty and I was still hungry. So me and

  798. Nat was like, hey, Mo, could you take us to

  799. Burger King? It was the only thing open at the time.

  800. We're at Burger King in the parking lot in Miami,

  801. and this man begins to talk to me about his

  802. relationship and me and that just begin to minister to him.

  803. What we didn't know at the time is that him

  804. and his wife were serving at this conference together but

  805. living at two separate places. We had no idea that

  806. at the time he was thinking about divorcing his wife.

  807. We had no idea that it was done for them.

  808. Yet through that conversation, God put a spark of faith

  809. on the inside of him, and he went back home

  810. and made everything right in his marriage. And he built

  811. that thing up, oh, from the ground up with his

  812. wife Tommy. And now they stand here in a movie

  813. where two hundred and forty million people have the possibility

  814. to see it, and talking about the testimony of their marriage.

  815. Don't tell me what God can't do. That's why we

  816. share our tests. He thought it was about you, but

  817. we overcome Revelations twelve eleven says, by the blood of

  818. the Lamb, that's what Jesus did. But you got a

  819. part to play in it. But the words of your

  820. what is it test? Samon write this down in the point.

  821. There is an anointing in your authenticity. Some of y'all

  822. about to unlock a different level of power because you're

  823. gonna actually be authentic and you're not going to be

  824. sold out to that version forever. You're gonna allow God

  825. to change you. He loves you so much that he'll

  826. accept you how you are, but he loves you too

  827. much to leave you that way. And some of y'all

  828. want to stay the way that you are. I'm just

  829. being real and God saying you've been real for fourteen years.

  830. It's time to change, trying to grow, it's trying to mature. Ooh,

  831. I love this. I got a lot more to go through.

  832. Somebody say, what type of church are we? One? Two three?

  833. We are a church that values Watch this generosity. We

  834. give just to give and not to get. Giving is

  835. our response to God's love, not a requirement for his love.

  836. I want you to understand that you do not have

  837. to do anything to get God's loves except receive it.

  838. And I know church tries to tell you do better

  839. so God can love you. No, no, no, that's not

  840. what God says in his word. And I want us

  841. to be a church that displays loving people first because

  842. that's what he did to us. Pass what Mike, does

  843. that mean those type of people? Yes? Are they human?

  844. Do they have blood? My response is not based on

  845. my references. My response is based on the standard. If

  846. Jesus was the one to go sit with the woman

  847. at the well when those two races didn't talk to

  848. each other, even his own disciples were sitting there, like

  849. why are you talking to this scag if he's the

  850. one that goes up and says to zach kiyas, Hey,

  851. I know everybody hating on you, but I'm coming to

  852. have dinner at your house tonight. This is what our

  853. savior did and the reason he could do it because

  854. he was solid. I gotta just put this in here.

  855. Some of you can't be generous the way you need

  856. to be because you don't have enough integrity to stay

  857. the same when you come in contact with people who

  858. have different values than you did. Y'all, hear what I

  859. just said? You can't go into certain spaces because those

  860. spaces would turn you out. The reason why most pastors

  861. and church people can't be trusted around people with money

  862. because they want the money. And you can feel people

  863. who need something from you. Well, let me just share

  864. my plan with you, brother, let me let me just

  865. I'll get my elevator pitch, like, what their soul is

  866. more important than whatever you're trying to sell. And what

  867. I'm saying to you, you cannot be called to an

  868. environment that you need something from You can't. You cannot

  869. be called to actually change it if you're trying to

  870. get something from it. The reason Jesus could sit with

  871. za Key is because he didn't need nothing from it.

  872. Do y'all hear what I'm saying? And this is where

  873. the church has to get. This is why we have

  874. to be skilled. This is why we have to use

  875. our brains and use the ability to produce wealth. This

  876. is why we have to be innovative. And I'm gonna

  877. talk about it in a second. Because we are called

  878. to people that have things that we don't have, but

  879. they don't have the thing that they need. I can't

  880. spend the time that I want to the reason why

  881. you have to be okay, the reason why you have

  882. to get out of love with money, the reason why

  883. you have to get out of love with their affirmation,

  884. the reason you have to fall out of love with

  885. their opinion, is because you might be called to a

  886. space and a place that you're not going to get

  887. that thing from. And it's time for us to be

  888. generous on every occasion. You heard the stat last week

  889. that this church, because of our collective generosity, has given

  890. away in the last eleven years, over thirty six million,

  891. three hundred and sixty one thousand, five hundred and one dollars.

  892. Can we give God praise for that? We could literally

  893. shout for the next for the next thirty minutes if

  894. we wanted to adjust on that. Hey, look at your

  895. neighbor and say we did that. Come on, if you

  896. gave one cent, if you gave the one cent or

  897. that one dollar, somebody say we did that. Huh, okay,

  898. it all gets counted in heaven. We did that. Now

  899. forget it. There's a way we could get that in

  900. a year. Deep. I gotta say stuff to bust your bubble.

  901. What would happen if this church it was usual for

  902. us to give ten million dollars away to causes outside

  903. of this church yearly, yearly. I'm not talking about every

  904. church in the community. I'm talking about us, the people

  905. in this room online. If everybody tithed, we could do

  906. that without blinking an eye. But some people still don't

  907. trust God with their finances. And so I'm always teaching, hey,

  908. this is the word, this is the generosity, and I'm

  909. not gonna beg you for it, because this is your

  910. soul is more important. But we have the answer if

  911. we would obey the standard. But see, y'all think it's

  912. about the thirty six million we can record. But let

  913. me tell you about something that happened at Christmas time.

  914. There was somebody in our church that somebody found out

  915. that this single mother her furnace went out right before

  916. Christmas and they were living in one part of the

  917. house so that they all could stay warm, this single

  918. mother and her three daughters. And somebody found out about

  919. it and put it on a group text to some

  920. other people. Not can the church raise it off? Just

  921. some people in the church, not the organization, but the organism,

  922. and just right before Christmas, they raised eight thousand plus

  923. dollars and gave it to this single mother so that

  924. her and her family. Y'all don't hear me, Generosity is

  925. giving just to give, not to get. What group text

  926. message are you own? Is every thread you owned? You

  927. asking for something? But what if you could change it?

  928. And I'm saying eight thousand, I'm saying eight eight dollars

  929. eight fifty. What if this week you went to the

  930. gas station with the intention to put twenty dollars in

  931. somebody else's tanks and you just did that until you

  932. could buy somebody a car. God gives seed to the

  933. you're waiting to have enough to buy them a car.

  934. And God said, just put gas in the car. Every

  935. week you take ten minutes and go with a twenty

  936. and just go in there and say put an extra

  937. twenty on fifteen. Do that for the rest of the year.

  938. See if God doesn't expand your y'all don't y'all can't.

  939. I can't talk about it right now. But Proverbs eleven

  940. twenty four says, the world of the generus gets larger

  941. and larger, but the world of the stingy gets smaller

  942. and smaller. I gotta keep moving one two three. What

  943. type of church are we? We are a church that

  944. values innovation. We go first, we take creative risk, and

  945. we do anything short of sin to reach people who

  946. don't know Christ. Everybody can't have this a part of

  947. their mission statement because everybody ain't bout it about it.

  948. I don't know where that just came from Master B

  949. and the No Limit Soldiers. That's just dating me right now.

  950. A lot of people are scared. Everybody wants to reach

  951. people until it's time to reach people. Why do we

  952. do things like ransom? Why do we put out movies?

  953. Why do we go out in the street, Why do

  954. we forgive people? Why do we let people who talk

  955. bad about us on Instagram come back and be a

  956. part of the church Because we Yeah, I said it,

  957. Because we practice what we preach, and sometimes you gotta

  958. go first, go on first, sucks. I can give you

  959. tons of examples of things we have done as a

  960. church since the very beginning, and now it's very popular

  961. to do, but we got crucified for it. It's part

  962. of what we're called to do. I counted up the cost.

  963. This is a part of our unique DNA. We innovate,

  964. We're gonna try things, We're gonna take risks that means

  965. sometimes watch this church, We're gonna fail. We're gonna fail

  966. forward though, huh, some of y'all are so scared to

  967. do the thing. But that thing you're scared of is

  968. actually the barrier to the breakthrough that God has in

  969. your life. Do the podcast well, it sounds stupid, there's

  970. a group of people that need that tone with your

  971. voice and your experience. Do what he told you to do,

  972. and when you do that, you'll be walking in what

  973. God told us to do in Luke in nineteen ten.

  974. For the Son of Man came to seek and to

  975. save those who were lost in Mark sixteen fifteen, and

  976. he said to them, go into all the world and

  977. reach the Gospel to every creature. This is the parallel

  978. of Matthew twenty eight nineteen. That word, if you break

  979. it down in its original language, the world means systems.

  980. God's saying, go into every system and make disciples. The

  981. problem is many of us aren't skilled enough to go

  982. into the systems. That's why we have to innovate. Church.

  983. You can't be scared of AI. It's here. It's the

  984. same thing as when you didn't have a cell phone

  985. and you use the thing. Everybody and now you have

  986. a cell phone. It's the same thing as not having internet,

  987. and now you have internet and all your stuff comes.

  988. It's the same. It's moving forward, and right now while

  989. you're rebuking it, you're supposed to be learning it, so

  990. then you can put the Christian values into a system

  991. that there are tons of people already in. And you've

  992. been saying, I'm so tired. There's things, hey, I can

  993. do to help you be less tired if you would

  994. learn it. You want to do it the hard way,

  995. and God's giving you things. I'm just trying to wake

  996. the church up because we're usually twenty years behind everything.

  997. What I'm saying to you, we're not gonna be that.

  998. We're gonna innovate because there are people who are lost

  999. and we gotta go get them because we are representing

1000. God to the lost and the fact for one reason,

1001. what is it transformation in Christ? I gotta move one,

1002. two three. We're a church that values worship. We bring

1003. our best to God in song, sacrifice, speech, and spirit,

1004. and we do not apologize for our expression of worship

1005. in spirit and in truth. Small Story Time we wrote

1006. that song give them Hell, and some of the church

1007. for folks had a problem with it because we said hell.

1008. And the one thing that I told him is like, yeah,

1009. I said, I've been beat up the last two years

1010. and I need to fight the devil with something, and

1011. sometimes praise is what I do. When I woke up,

1012. you should have the devil thought he had me, but

1013. his best shot wasn't good enough. You under said, like,

1014. that's how I felt when I'm in the gym and

1015. I want to give up. It's like, no, today that

1016. I woke up, I'm gonna give him hell. What he

1017. thought he was gonna do to me, I'm gonna do

1018. to him. I'm gonna save and pray and speak life

1019. and I'm ana and I'm saying like, yeah, sometimes I

1020. gotta turn it off when Gigi's in the car because

1021. she will just repeat everything give him hell like. But

1022. the truth of the matter is when I wrote that song,

1023. I was worshiping God in spirit and in truth. And

1024. God can't. You might not be able to, but he can.

1025. And what I'm saying is that's the type of church

1026. we gonna be. Let's keep going one, two three. What

1027. type of church we are? A church that values fun?

1028. See I know that saying in many people's church's values.

1029. But we're gonna have fun doing this. We start the party,

1030. we laugh loud, and we find joy in it all.

1031. Do you know how many dark situations we've been in

1032. and joy has been our strength through every season? Some

1033. of y'all have been miserable because the enemy has been

1034. able to steal your joy. I bet you in every season,

1035. we're gonna my group of friends, y'all, we can laugh

1036. through everything. I don't care what it is. We're gonna

1037. find a joke. We're gonna find. We've been in seasons

1038. of grief. We've been in seasons of loss, and somehow

1039. we found a way to to actually find joy. That's

1040. why Neiamyah says the joy of the Lord will be

1041. our ship. Lighten up, laugh, turn it. The staff will

1042. tell you. I carry around a speaker to almost all

1043. my meetings. I walk around with music playing because I'm

1044. changing the atmosphere. Everywhere I go. They'll be like, turn

1045. that down, No am I telling the truth, y'all. That

1046. is they're gonna pass the mic. I'm and I'm hoping

1047. that what's on me some soft on you. I hope

1048. that my joy is contagious. You know what joy is

1049. one of two things. I gotta go. Joy is either

1050. contagious or annoying. And you can tell where people are

1051. in their soul when your joy makes them upset. We're

1052. gonna leave that there. One two three. We are a

1053. church that pops. We believe in progression over perfection. Through theology, therapy,

1054. and community, God can turn any trauma into triumph progression

1055. over perfection Church. I need you to know that I'll

1056. never give up on you, because God never gave up

1057. on me. One step forward, one inch forward, one try

1058. better than I did last time. I'm not comparing myself

1059. to anybody else. I'm just trying to run this race

1060. and finish this. I'm pressing towards the prize that he's

1061. calling me for this year. How are you going to

1062. be better? Not compared to last year? Now we're going forward.

1063. The thing about these beautiful values in our culture code

  1064. is that they're not just ideas. They're people. I don't

1065. want this to be like, oh, our church does this.

1066. I want you to know that there are people to

1067. do this. I'm going to just introduce to you as

1068. we close a few people that represent this in our church.

1069. The first one is Amber. Amber. Come up here real quick.

1070. Amber is a person of crazy faith. I want you

1071. to just stand right there, right there. If you've seen Amber,

1072. she's one of our worshippers. She comes and this is

1073. the thing you might not know when you see her

1074. singing the Amber. If God says it, she believes it.

1075. I've seen Amber lay hands on people and pray for

1076. them in the middle of worship, in the middle of practice,

1077. and I've seen God do healings. I've seen Amber believe

1078. for family members, and I've seen God believe for restoration

1079. and things happen. And what I want you to know

1080. is crazy faith is not just a past a thing

  1081. or transformation church. It's a It's a quality that every

1082. person can have. Amber. Thank you for not just saying

1083. that you believe in crazy faith. Thank you for displaying it. Oh,

1084. you want to talk about somebody that's humble, open and transparent.

1085. Danielle Walker, come up here for me real quick. You

1086. stand right here. Me and Danielle went to high school together. No,

1087. we literally grew up in church together at higher dimensions.

1088. Her mama. Her mama used to be the usher up

1089. in the balcony that used to pop me because I

1090. was talking during service, and I've watched Danielle be humble,

1091. open and transparent through many changes. I could go through

1092. all kinds of stuff that we've been through, from your

1093. son being almost burned to the point of death and

1094. God healing him, to the loss of mom in lead

1095. even me. Three weeks ago she lost her older sister

1096. to a fit and all overdose. And yet every time

1097. she's come. I remember when Danielle didn't even fool with

1098. God for real. You remember that. You remember when I

1099. would invite you to church and you didn't come. You

1100. remember when you'd be like, boy, get the beef out

1101. of my feet. You remember that. And yet every Sunday

1102. she wakes up earlier, gets with her community, and comes

1103. and serves people who are far from God and people

1104. who are close to God. With all that she's had

1105. to carry, she's been humble, open, and transparent. This is

1106. what the vision looks like. Danielle. Thank you for not

1107. just saying you're hot, but for being hot in this

1108. mine in the strip. Y'all can celebrate that right now.

1109. But this vision, it's not just an idea. It's people.

1110. It's people like my man Shamari. Now some of y'all

1111. don't ever see Show. That's what we call him. But

1112. Show is somebody that worships God. Show. Come over here, man,

1113. You stand right here, Amber, you stand right there on

1114. crazy faith, you stand right here. See what you don't

1115. see is that when the praise team is up here worshiping,

1116. Show is behind the scenes, and he's making sure that

1117. they can hear everything that's happening. In the end of

1118. your manditors that if you see Show, he back there

1119. worshiping and djaying on the ones and twos. This man

1120. shows up at rehearsals. This man shows up when we

1121. have to call rehearsals at random times. He's never seen,

1122. but he worships God in spirit and in truth. And

1123. today we celebrate you, brother as you don't just say

1124. you worship you and body worship with your whole life.

1125. Come on, y'all, this vision is not just ethereal, it's people.

1126. These are two of my favorites right here. You know

1127. there are some people that pop, some people who value

1128. progression over perfection, and Colin and carry do that. Y'all

1129. come up here now. I want y'all to stand right

1130. here because I want y'all to get a good look

1131. at this couple. This couple, it's the biggest testimony to me.

1132. They were separated for thirteen years, and through the grace

1133. of God, they are back together, married, serving together on

1134. our First Impressions team, and bringing God glory with every

1135. ounce of their life. That is progression of Can we

1136. give God praise? This is not just principles, it's people.

1137. Thank you for living out in front of all of

1138. us what it looks like to continue to move forward. Okay, listen, listen, listen, listen.

1139. It's Joe here. I don't know if Joe, Joe come here, Joe,

1140. come stand right here in generosity, my man. Now, Joe's

1141. face is gonna look like this every time you see him.

1142. I've only seen him smile twice in thirteen you know,

1143. I sai, but this is one of the kindest men

1144. you'll ever meet, as long as she don't do nothing stupid. Look,

1145. he didn't even smile then. But this man has a

1146. heart of generosity. He comes and serves and protects. And

1147. you wouldn't know it, but his whole family serves in

1148. this church. He is a man of integrity, and he's

1149. a man of generosity. How much money did he give,

1150. He gives his time, he gives his treasure and Joe today, man,

1151. I just want to thank you publicly for protecting us,

1152. keeping us safe, and sowing seeds a generosity all over

1153. this craft. Come on, Church, it's not just principles, it's people.

1154. You want to talk about innovation. Charmain, come up here,

1155. stand right there. This is Charmain, and Charmagne is one

1156. of the wisest, smartest, cunning young ladies I've ever met.

1157. And she is always trying to figure out new ways

1158. that as we invite guests in from all over the world,

1159. how to make them feel like this is home. Y'all,

1160. we have a unique opportunity every Sunday that we have

1161. people who travel here as a destination from all over

1162. the world. Like they don't just watch it's like this

1163. is my time. I've been waiting two years to come here,

1164. five years to come here. I'm on my way here,

1165. I'm saving up my money to come here. And Charmaine

1166. has given us so many innovative and amazing ways to

1167. make our first time guests feel like this is their home.

1168. And it's her innovation and using technology and using apps

1169. and doing things we'll never see in this room that

1170. make people go away from here feeling like I just

1171. came home and charmain. Today, I just want to publicly

1172. thank you. Our church wants to say thank you for

1173. being one that goes first and takes risk. And because

1174. these aren't just principles, these are people. It's one of

1175. my favorite people in the whole world. Come here, Miss Joanne.

1176. Miss Joanne works a part of our facilities team and

1177. has been a part of Greenwood from almost the very beginning.

1178. Huh it's been yeah, twelve dep that's in the past, Okay.

1179. I've seen Miss Joanne in seasons where thing was good,

1180. and in seasons of loss, and in seasons of complete recalibration.

1181. Come into this building early and bring every color of

1182. mascara you could ever fine as an outward symbol of

1183. the joy that is on the inside. And if we

1184. start a song to party, the first one on the

1185. dance floor, Miss Joanne. If we need to celebrate anybody,

1186. the first one screaming, Miss Joanne. It doesn't matter if

1187. she has overlooked for years in this church. She would

1188. be the person to pick up everybody's trash when they left.

1189. And today I just wanted to bring you on this

1190. platform to celebrate you publicly. Thank you for always starting

1191. to party and letting the joy of the Lord be

1192. your trip. Can we let miss Joe Anne here the

1193. appreciation for being a person of fun all right? Just

1194. a couple of months one two, three, four, six seven,

1195. I called it the great while left one off. What

1196. type of church are we? One two three? We're a

1197. church that values you being a part. We are a

1198. people actively representing transformation. You see what we did there. Apart,

1199. we are spiritual contributors, not spiritual consumers. We are the

1200. Church and we exist for the world. There was a

1201. couple I met a few years ago that I just

1202. started seeing this beautiful woman like just put together, a

1203. whole family put together. And I was like, who is that? Like,

1204. you know some people you see in your church, is

1205. like are they visiting? Are they hear what's happening? And

1206. this woman of God and her husband and whole family

1207. moved from Nebraska in a successful season to be a

1208. part of what God was doing here. Brother Fred and Teray,

1209. will y'all come up here real quick? These two serve

1210. faithfully on several times. I can't even tell you all

1211. the stuff they do, from worship to tribes, to counseling

1212. people behind the scenes to meeting with people. They came

1213. here and said, we're gonna give whatever we have to

1214. build what God is building here. They didn't come to

1215. be spiritual consumers. They came to be spiritual contributors. God's

1216. put something in us and it's time for us to

1217. give it away their whole family, and today I just

1218. want to thank you. You don't know I've told you

1219. this privately, but there's many times in seasons where I

1220. was like God, is God doing? Is He still doing it? Here?

1221. That the fact I will remember y'all's testimony that He

1222. told y'all to come from a whole nother state, never

1223. met me, never known anything. God just said it and

1224. you obeyed it. You moved out here in crazy faith,

1225. and we've seen God do amazing things. But God, since

1226. y'all here from me, what you don't know is I

1227. have literally many times remember but God, send Toray and Fred.

1228. There's still something I gotta do. And thank you for

1229. not coming and waiting to be asked to give what

1230. we didn't even know was in you. Thank you for

1231. freely being a part You've transformed so many people's lives,

1232. especially your pastors, and today we thank you for being

1233. a part of this vision. Can we give God? Come

1234. on church. It's not principles. The culture and the vision

1235. are people standing all over this place. Don't y'all move,

1236. because this is how the church should look. I don't

1237. want this stage to be big enough to hold everybody

1238. a part of this. My question is will you get

1239. in place? My question is how many of these boxes

1240. could you fit on? We should be able to bring

1241. each one of us up here and we jump from

1242. crazy faith to worship, to being hot to pop it

1243. to being a part to generosity of fund the enemy.

1244. Because we don't want this to just be principles. We

1245. want this culture to be people. Last scripture, y'all one

1246. Corinthians twelve twelve. The human body has been made up

1247. of many parts, but the many parts make up one

1248. whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.

1249. Go down to verse twenty seven. First Corinthians twelve twenty seven.

1250. All of you together are Christ's body, and each of

1251. you is a part of it. Today I want you

1252. to be a part of this vision like never before,

1253. because God's about to build something for the future. This

1254. is the last day that we look behind us to

1255. see like what did God do back there? Everything is

1256. ahead today. I want to pray for you. Would you

1257. lift your hands all over this building. If you're watching online,

1258. this is for you too. You are a part of

1259. what God's doing. Father. I thank you that today we

1260. have heard the call that You've called us to something,

1261. not to just watch it, but to put our hands

1262. to the plow. Today. Father, there is a world that

1263. desperately needs you. And Father, as the harvest is plentiful

1264. and the workers are few, we will be ones to

1265. step into the gap and we'll do the work. Will

1266. be generous on every occasion, will worship You in spirit

1267. and truth. We will be humble, open and trans parent.

1268. We will value progression over perfection. Father, God. We will

1269. be people that represent you. We will innovate, Father, we

1270. will have fun doing it God, and we will live

1271. in generosity and give, just to give and not to get.

1272. We're all yours today. Let this culture be tattooed on

1273. our heart and let us embody it outside of these

1274. church walls. Let this not be a church thing. Let's

1275. be a thing that is our lives. Give us the

1276. faith to live in crazy faith. Whatever you have to

1277. change in us, build your church, build it from the

1278. ground up. If you're in this room and you haven't

1279. put your life your house on the foundation of Jesus

1280. before we leave here, if you didn't hear anything else

1281. I said, I want you to be wise today. I

1282. want you to be a wise builder. Build your life

1283. on Jesus. It's the thing that changed my life. Took

1284. me from being a liar or manipulator, addicted to pornography,

1285. somebody who was far from God, and it brought me

1286. to a place where I knew I needed him. If

1287. you're in this room or watching this right now and

1288. you want to put your life in the hands of

1289. Jesus anew and afresh, or for the first time ever

1290. on the counter, three, I just want you to lift

1291. your hands. One, you're making the greatest decision of your life.

1292. Two there's hands already going up all over this place.

1293. Three just to lift your hand. I see you, my brother,

1294. I see you, my brother, I see you my sister. Oh,

1295. Transformation Church, I see you in more than that. At home,

1296. God sees you. Hey, put your hand down with nobody moving,

1297. because we're about to pray right now. That's what took

1298. me from being a liar, a manipulator, addicted to pornography.

1299. This prayer changed my life. And we all pray together

1300. for the benefit of those coming to Christ. Would you

1301. pray this prayer? Everybody, say God, thank you for sending

1302. Jesus just for me today. I want to build my

1303. life on you. I believe you lived, you died, and

1304. you rose again just for me. Here's my life. Change me,

1305. renew me, transform me. I'm yours in Jesus' name. Amen?

1306. Can we give God praise all over this place? Oh?

1307. Come on, y'all, Heaven is rejoicing. Hey, listen. If you

1308. just prayed that prayer, I want you to text saved

1309. to eight two eight two eight two, And for all

1310. my other church members as you're even leaving right now.

1311. Everybody listen to me. If this message made you want

1312. to make a full commitment to being a part of

1313. this vision, I want you to text the word apart

1314. to eight two eight two eight two. Gideon only needed

1315. three hundred. That's a message for another day. I'm not

1316. looking for the crowd, I'm looking for the remnant, because

1317. what's about to happen in this place. Even if you're

1318. watching online and you know you're a part of this,

1324. not about the organization. This is about the organism. I

1325. pray this will be the best week of your life.
