Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to
-
the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so
-
glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe
-
God will transform your life. Do today's message, aymen.
-
I feel locked and loaded today, y'all. I feel I
-
feel clear in my soul. I've been at a week
-
of intensive counseling by myself and the Holy Spirit has
-
been revealing things in me that He still wants to heal.
-
And I want to admit that to you as my congregation,
-
because I can't lead you to a place I've never been,
-
and I want to let you know that I've gone
-
on a journey to become a man that I've never
-
met before. And if you thought that our church has
-
been effective in the past, yes, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
-
you ain't seen nothing yet. And today I feel like
-
God is so kind that he would save this message
-
today until I did some of the work that I've done.
-
And so we are in a series, part three of
-
a series called relationship Goals helped me in real life?
-
Has this been blessing anybody so far? This series? Okay,
-
today we're going to another level so buckle up. I
-
got forty eight minutes, and I'm gonna use every second
-
of it because I think I found, specifically, ladies, I
-
think I have found the answer to your questions. No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
-
you didn't hear what I just said. This is not it, Charles,
-
Come get this real quick. I think I found the
-
answer to your question. Because how many people in here
-
want a good relationship? If everybody's hand is not up? Golly,
-
I'm gonna ask you one more time, and we're gonna
-
give you a retail online and in the room. How
-
many people in here want good relationships? All right? Okay?
-
How many people in here have at least one good relationship? Okay?
-
How many people would say they have over ten good relationships?
-
You're lying? Ten ten is a lot. Ten ten is
-
a lot. I would challenge your one, but I will
-
say ten is extra. No, no, no, no. I hope
-
you do have over ten good relationships. But the truth
-
of the matter is most people don't have one if
-
you put it against the criteria that God says a
-
good relationship is because the first the first criteria to
-
a good relationship. Let me just ask you this, is
-
it healthy did you connect around trauma bonding? How did
-
your relationship start? Because the root of a thing is
-
always connected to the fruit of a thing. So where
-
did you meet that person that you have a great
-
relationship with? What are some of the patterns and the
-
cycles of those relationships? Are there certain things that y'all
-
do that y'all know is okay? But you would never
-
tell anybody else to do those things? Today, I want
-
to help the ladies. Lady, you can do that anywhere,
-
and they, ah, what is that? Today? Ladies, I'm gonna
-
teach you how to choose a man. Now, some of
-
y'all that clap you already.
-
Got one, hold them tight because we're about to see
-
if you choose right. No, I'm just flaying, okay, everybody say,
-
how to choose a man?
-
I wish this was a class in high school, I mean,
-
or at Bibles at least, like how to choose a
-
man should be before you get eighteen years old, Like,
-
but we don't teach that yet. It would be one
-
of the greatest deceit off your life who you decide
-
to partner up with how to choose a man? And
-
for everybody that's already had a man and and you've
-
had several men and it's okay, it's okay, And maybe
-
you're with a man right now that you don't know.
-
This is gonna give everybody clarity today, and some of
-
you you're just gonna be able to tell your grandchildren
-
and say it one more time, say how to choose
-
a man? Here's the point. One point in the sermon
-
is done for you, ladies. You can't choose a man
-
who has not yet decided to be a man. And
-
many of my sisters are trying to choose a man
-
who has not chosen himself. Say Lah Pauls and think
-
Pastor Mike running back one more time. You are out
-
here trying to choose something that has not identified as
-
what you're looking for. I need a man. I need
-
a strong man. I need a man who provides. I
-
need a man who does what he does in the
-
bed room, but Steve does what he does before God.
-
I need I'll see y'all, tiktoks. The truth of the
-
matter is you're looking for what there is. Very few
-
of I came to fight today because there's an all
-
out war against biblical manhood, and we're building hopes of
-
people trying to find something that is not being deve
-
I'm going to walk us through this. Men, I got you, okay,
-
So I'm not comback at you, but I want to
-
teach you what you were never taught. And my people perish.
-
The Bible says for a lack of So today, if
-
I don't teach this, we always at church are healing
-
the symptoms of the issue that never actually gets taught.
-
We don't have enough people who have decided to become
-
a man. Passa mike. You have to give me some
-
Bible for this well. Genesis five, chapter one, verse two.
-
This is in the beginning, okay, and the Bible says
-
it like this. God he made them to be like him.
-
He created them male and female, and he blessed them,
-
and he called them humankind. Okay. He did not create
-
man and woman. He created male and female. So I
-
need everybody to understand the order of God. He doesn't
-
make men, He makes males. Okay, So every person born
-
with the equipment that God designed to identify male. If
-
you're following me, that person is male or female. God
-
only gives two options. Anything else is confusion. I didn't
-
say it. He said he created them like him. Both
-
male and female. What that makes me understand is that
-
you can be a fifty five year old male and
-
not a man. Just because you have the equipment doesn't
-
mean you're equipped. They don't want me to be real
-
right now. You know some people who still at like
-
they in their mama's house and they're sixty five years old,
-
playing them same games they played in middle school, high school,
-
doing the same things. They are not men yet they
-
are just males. Okay, I gotta keep moving because some
-
of y'all looking real mad at me right now. And
-
what I just want to let you know is maybe
-
you just didn't know. Maybe you were raised by a
-
male not a man. Maybe you never met a man,
-
maybe you were introduced. And so today I want to
-
give you a picture that no matter where you are Fellas,
-
you need to understand that God has a design for
-
biblical manhood. Can I break this down for you real quick,
-
because all of these ladies want to be in relationship
-
goes with you. But God told us in Genesis it's
-
not good for Adam to be alone. But look at
-
the word he used, it's not good for man to
-
be alone. That means it is good for male to
-
oh God, he said, it's he. Oh my God. He
-
created the beginning male and female. But then he said
-
it's not good for man to be alone. That means
-
there was something that happened in Adam from him being
-
created as male to God then changing him into man.
-
Y'all don't read the Bible. So there is a decision.
-
I'm gonna tell you what that decision is. It was
-
the decision to be submitted to God and it was
-
his choice. And so let me lay out for you.
-
If you've never seen this, if you don't get anything
-
else I say, I want you to understand the progression
-
that God desires for every male to actually possess and
-
to teach to the next generation. This is what it's
-
supposed to be. You are born a male. Put my
-
slide up on the screen, please. You were born a male,
-
and male is biological. You had no choice in that.
-
Them X and Y chromosomes came together and did the thing,
-
and your mom and daddy and you got her nose
-
and you got his face, and you got you look
-
just like your daddy, and that's you had no choice
-
in that. But that is biological. The next decision is
-
to go from a male and become a man, and
-
man is about intentional. I did it on purpose. I
-
made decisions to say no to that. I made decisions
-
to say yes to that. I made a decision to
-
leave that and follow christ. I made a decision to
-
lead that girl alone. I made a decision to leave
-
them dudes alone. I made a decision to stop drinking that.
-
I intentionally decided that these things go against what God
-
says is good for me to build my character, to
-
be a man of integrity, to stand and be a
-
man of valor. This thing is intentional. You do not
-
become a man by age. Time served does not make
-
you a man. The saddest truth is there are men
-
that live and die males. They never graduate. And this
-
is the crazy thing that this is just the second level. Good, wait,
-
there's more. And how do you kill a king in adolescence?
-
When they tried to kill Jesus, they said every child
-
under the age of to kill them all. Same thing
-
he's trying to do to all men, even if you
-
live to be an old age. He's trying to kill
-
and stunt your growth from a child. This is why
-
images of pornography are getting introduced younger and younger. This
-
is why people self esteem, This is why father's not
-
being in the home. This is why all of these
-
things are happening. It's trying to rob a generation of
-
their kingly duty so that they never become the vehicles
-
that God wants to use to actually represent him on
-
this earth. And so they're passive and insecure and don't
-
know how to make a decision, or they touch everything
-
that has an ability to be touched, and they're going
-
everywhere they're not supposed to go, and they have no control,
-
no impulse that they can walk away from things because
-
they are just male. You could say it like this,
-
it's just in their nature. But Jesus said, any man
-
that is in Christ, he gets a new nature. This
-
is why even coming to Christ is still about your decision.
-
Because everything that makes you a man, nobody will make
-
you do. You have to decide to do it. Somebody say,
-
I have a choice, And what God wants you to
-
understand is male is biological, but man is intentional. That's
-
your choice. But the reason that He wants you to
-
become a man is because he wants you to reflect
-
his image and one day be a father. And this
-
is why the attack has been on fatherhood because if
-
you are a male and you just have kids, you're
-
a daddy, not a father. Oh God, that's why they
-
call them baby daddies. They don't call them baby fathers
-
because a father actually has a part of instilling something
-
into them. They're actually trying to teach them something. What
-
are they supposed to teach them how to go from
-
a male to a man. But if you've never gone
-
through the process of going from a male to a man,
-
you don't know how how to take anybody through that.
-
So you settled for being a daddy. God dog, I
-
am preaching up here right now, and so many people
-
in this generation have been raised with the absence of
-
fathers by placebos of a father, which is a daddy,
-
which says I don't emotionally have to check in as
-
long as I send you a check, I pay my
-
child support. You weak, sorry, son of but they didn't
-
ask to be here. I'm sorry. I get frustrated because
-
I'm wiping the tears you should have wiped. I sitting
-
counseling with your daughters, your son who is confused about
-
his identity. I'm telling him that Jesus loves him and
-
you up the street. I gotta, I gotta, I gotta
-
watch this because I have I have a personal I
-
can't see how you would bring somebody into the world
-
and then leave them to fend for all of this
-
by themselves when God gave you an anointing and a
-
mandate to be able to actually teach them how to
-
actually grow up to have a healthy soul. So remember
-
last week when I told you that they need to
-
be seen, safe, secure, and soothe. That is a part
-
of what the man is supposed to do. But a
-
male doesn't think that. A male thinks that as long
-
as you know me, and I'll show up and I'm
-
here and I gave you some money, and I don't
-
treat your mama bad. And I'm not even talking about
-
the ones who go talk to it. I'm just saying,
-
like you think that participation is why you need a prize.
-
I have to literally read a book, take a test,
-
get blood drawn to get my driver's license, but you
-
can lay down with anybody and have a kid. The
-
reason I'm saying this is because I want you to
-
feel the gravity of what happens when you don't walk
-
into biblical manhood. Everybody around you suffers, whether you feel
-
it or not. So what God says is I want
-
every male to go from mail to everybody say man,
-
then go to fa which is spiritual because his picture
-
is the one of a family. God wants fathers to
-
be in place so that the family is stable. Every
-
example of what God does in his word is he
-
uses the metaphor of family. We are the family of God.
-
I take those who are outside and I bring the
-
spirit of adoption and set them into family. If you
-
look at the father's son, all of the analogies are
-
family because he said, as it is in heaven, we
-
are family. What do I want to be the picture
-
of Heaven on earth? It's families. That's why everybody connects
-
with the story of the prodigal son, because it's in
-
the family where a son goes away, but when the
-
son doesn't think he can come back, he starts to
-
come back and sees the Father's already going towards him.
-
That is a picture of what God does to you
-
when you are wayward in your sin, and at the
-
moment you turn around, God's not just waiting for you
-
to come back, He's actually coming towards you. What the
-
picture is family. But what the enemy knows is that's
-
the ultimate picture of God. How do I kill the family?
-
I kill the father, and I kill the father by
-
letting him know that he's not a man, and I
-
kill his manhood by convincing him to stay a male
-
because it's easier. Whatever is in your nature, however you
-
feel this is why God put this in me. If
-
he didn't want me to have it, then why do
-
I just feel this. I feel like God wants me
-
to be with multiple women, because if I'm with multiple women,
-
why would he put this urge in me and all
-
these dumb things. That's a male talking, Okay, And the
-
reason that God places people in family for the last
-
part is because he wants it to be forever. The
-
family name is supposed to go on and on and on.
-
What God is saying is I want my name, my
-
mark to go on. And I'm the God of Abraham Isaac,
-
and he's a generational god, so what he wants it
-
to be is family, relational and forever eternal. He says,
-
I want you to be in my family, and even
-
when your family. That's why it even says in Hebrews
-
that there will be a great cloud of witnesses. That's
-
your family cheering you own. Oh I'm heaven because they've
-
made it and it's supposed to be. Oh God, Okay,
-
So how do you kill God's eternal plan? Keep them
-
at mail. We could end right there, but I can't
-
end right there because if this is God's design, you know,
-
culture always tries to pervert something that God creates. So
-
there's a new one that was added culturally in the
-
last two years that I need to address real quick
-
because I think some of my sisters are thinking that
-
this is a part of God's design, and I just
-
wanted to be clear that it's not. There was a
-
song released in two thousand and twenty four that won
-
two Grammys. It's had three hundred and eighty one million streams,
-
and there's a line in it that says, she said,
-
take your time. What's the rush? I said, Baby, I'm
-
a dog. I'm a mutt. I'm a dog. I'm a mut. Today,
-
I have to acknowledge the space between the put it
-
back up there. Uh, there's a space between male and man.
-
It's mut. Yeah. Yeah, some of y'all are MutS. You
-
you you have literally convinced people it's okay for you
-
to live like this. And I need everybody to understand
-
what a mutt is. I put it into a crosstic
-
that you could understand. A mut stands for a male
-
unwilling to transform. So anytime you hear somebody say, baby,
-
I'm a dog, I'm a mutt, You're a male, not
-
a man. Because a man decides to actually do things
-
that are unc comptable. He decides to continue to grow,
-
he decides to stay in a place of humility to
-
actually learn something. He decides to come to the table
-
and apologize. But a mutt. Do you all know what
-
a mutt is in real life? It's a what do
-
you say? It's a dog who has been mixed with
-
strands of dn name that they were not created to
-
be mixed with. I could say it like this. It's
-
a perversion, a mutation. It's somebody that is taking things
-
from different streams, from different ideas, from my uncle being,
-
from my cousin Jerry. I'm putting all of these things
-
into what I should be formed like and I'm trying
-
to call it manhood. It's mutthood. And the crazy thing
-
about this line, because the song is a vibe and
-
I'm telling you, if you listen to it over and over,
-
you be convinced.
-
I'd be like, baby, I'm a dog, a dug, I'm.
-
Telling you, But that's what culture tries to do. It
-
sweetens it up and you confessing something that you don't
-
want in your relationship. It's on your relationship goes playlist.
-
It's even in the movie. I didn't even know. What
-
I'm saying is culture will try to sell you something.
-
Ain't nothing wrong with the song that Leon is so talented.
-
That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the
-
concept because the girl says, baby, take your time, what's
-
the rush? She has now lowered the standard to be
-
able to be in relationship with somebody who's telling her
-
straight up, don't trust me. I'm a dog rough rough
-
And anytime you hear mut, it is a man unwilling
-
to transform. So the title of my message today is
-
are you a man? Or are you a mut? Only
-
you can answer that question. Ladies, please stop letting MutS
-
entertain you throw a stick and tell him to run away. No, no, no.
-
The reason why I'm saying this is because the longer
-
you're around them, you'll start to think that this is
-
the standard. And I know there's some brothers up here
-
mad at me, And I know you just turned in
-
your player card last week, and I know you trying
-
to figure out what am I gonna do because we
-
just had an issue. I'm gonna teach you. I'm not
-
gonna never leave you out there, but I need you
-
to acknowledge nothing changes if you diagnose wrong. You don't
-
go to the doctor and say my foot hurts when
-
it really is your hand. We gotta acknowledge the thing.
-
Many of us did not have pictures of good Man
-
in our life, and so we settled for making it
-
up as we go, and we got MutS. And all
-
I want to know, ladies, are you attracted to a
-
man or a mutt because you keep only I want
-
him to be a bad boycott Like I kind of
-
want him to have a record, but like not nothing
-
too theorious. Like I mean, I kind of you know
-
what I'm saying. I kind of want him to act
-
like you gonna hit me, but like don't hit me.
-
Y'all know I'll be on TikTok. I heard the TikTok,
-
Like I want I want to be a boss, but
-
I want them to be there all the time, Like
-
I just I want us to see what we're promoting
-
and what we're lifting up, and what we're celebrating, and
-
what we are watch this secretly or quietly attracted to,
-
because you're only attracted to what's actually in your heart.
-
You may not like the outcome, but you do like
-
the input. Let me keep moving. Men, are you raising
-
men or MutS? Hey bro Boro, Hey, hey, listen to me.
-
I'm your father. Man. Hey, you don't never tell a
-
woman the whole truth. I've heard men say this to
-
their children. Hey, hey, hey, that's too much information. You
-
tell them what they need to know. Hey, trust me, Ahai,
-
your dad will never steer you wrong. I just want
-
you to think about the things that you watch this
-
And many men don't even engage in it. They just
-
try to hide it and think their kids don't see it.
-
And I want you to know the greatest private eye
-
detectives are your kids. There are things to this day
-
my parents think they hear from us, and all my
-
brother's like, yeah, we've seen that every day. Like y'all
-
hear what I'm saying. I'm asking you to make a
-
decision to change men of God, from where you have
-
been to where God desired, desires and designed you to be.
-
So write this point down. Going from a mount to
-
a man is a choice. Going from a mont to
-
a man, you can choose today. Today can be the
-
last day that you barkin be done because it's a
-
everybody say, choice. The greatest thing that God gave all
-
of us is choice. You have to choose him because
-
love has to have a choice. And that's why. First
-
Corinthians thirteen eleven says, when I was a child, I
-
spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when
-
I grew up, this is the key part to this verse,
-
I put away childish God did not come put them away.
-
God doesn't put childish things away in your life. He
-
will let you play with your little toys, in your
-
arty cards, in your hot wheels, as long as you
-
beside to. And he said, if you want to go
-
from being a male or a month to a man,
-
choose how to choose a man? He has to choose first.
-
That's why One Corinthians sixteen thirteen says, be watchful, stand
-
firm in the faith, and act like men. Be strong.
-
I came to tell every male act like men. How
-
can you say that? Because I am one. I know
-
what it is to deny my flesh. I know what
-
it is to walk in meekness. I know what it
-
is to leave a life that felt easy, to say
-
yes to the call of God. I know what it
-
is to turn the other cheek when I could bust yours.
-
Y'all don't hear y'all see we think the wrong things
-
are manhood. I know what it is to get on
-
my knees and apologize to my wife. I know what
-
it is to say, baby, I'm sorry I missed that
-
I didn't cover you in that situation. That was a
-
misstep on my part. And I'm not just saying I'm sorry.
-
I'm gonna change it. Because only a man can call
-
a male to manhood and today as a man, a
-
man of God, a man of conviction, a man that
-
leads other men. Today, I'm asking you, maybe you didn't
-
have a pastor that would be this honest with you.
-
Maybe you didn't have somebody that you could actually look
-
at their life and say, maybe I want to follow that.
-
I am not a perfect man. I still am dependent
-
on God every single day. But what I have done
-
is I've decided as for me and my house. Oh God,
-
I'm getting happy. As for me and this church. Some
-
of y'all need to get faith and stand strong. And
-
maybe I wasn't who I needed to be, But today
-
I'm making a decision as for me and my house,
-
we will serve the Lord. This is hope for you
-
because you can decide today. I don't care what your
-
past was. I don't care what yesterday was. Somebody say,
-
now you can choose to walk in to biblical manhood. Well,
-
pastor Mike, can you help me with that? This is
-
how we're gonna do it. Six things a biblical man
-
chooses that a mutt would never ha haha. Six things
-
a biblical man chooses that a mutt would never for
-
a biblical man chooses number one submission. Here we go.
-
We just canceled out seventy percent of people, all the
-
mutts just running away. Why Because this is the number
-
one thing a man does. A man submits, he becomes
-
sub to the mission of God. Have you given your
-
life to Christ? Have you said, not my will, but
-
yours be done. Have you said because of the call,
-
many can, but I cannot. Have you picked up your
-
cross and decided to carry it, not just on Sunday,
-
but pick it up and carry it daily. I see
-
a picture of disciples, and y'all know the story. Some
-
of the first disciples that he actually called to follow him.
-
They were having a horrible business to day. They were
-
on a fishing boat and they were trying to get
-
it and Jesus said to them. They didn't even know
-
who he was. He said, hey, throw your nets on
-
the other side. And they're like, who is this dude?
-
Throw your nets on the other side. We've been fishing
-
all day. We're professional fishermen. What are you talking about?
-
But I guess ain't. Nothing else worked. And they threw
-
their nets on the other side, and the Bible says
-
when they tried to pick it up, the load was
-
so heavy that it started to sink their boats. That
-
they had to call competitors over and put some of
-
their catch on they boats. It was the biggest business
-
they had ever had. And then Jesus's simple instruction is
-
leave that and follow me. Most of us would not
-
be subbed to that mission. We were like, hold on,
-
hold on, I gotta cash this in where you're gonna
-
be on Thursday, because I'm gonna go ahead and go
-
ahead and put this together and then put a little
-
bit inside. He said, I just wanted to show you
-
what I could do. My question is what are you
-
about to do? And those dudes became disciples not because
-
they knew everything, It's because they become submitted. They left
-
what looked prosperous to find what was ever lasting. And
-
if you are going to be a biblical man, if
-
you're gonna actually step into this, you're gonna be have
-
to become sub to the mission. Why are you saying that,
-
Pastor Mike, Because a munth is solo, a man is submitted.
-
If you if you're around a man who's isolated and
-
nobody can be around him, and don't nobody know nothing
-
about him, run seeing a lot of Netflix documentaries about
-
guys like that. The reason I'm saying this is because
-
the greatest level of submission is not just to God. Yeah,
-
when you become submitted to God, you learn how to
-
become submitted to others. And that's why this phrase is
-
a pervasive in culture. Only God can judge me eh eternally,
-
but my wife can judge if the tone was wrong.
-
Y'all don't want to hear that. My friends can judge
-
if the motive was wrong. The people who know me,
-
they like you did that because you wanted to be seen.
-
Don't even act like that. But most people are solo.
-
So when you don't have anybody in anything to be
-
submitted to, nobody that has to sit down and shut
-
up card in your life who has to sit down
-
and shut up car? And when I just said that,
-
some men just got angry because the only thing that
-
makes you a man is that you're the final say.
-
And if you're the final say, then you have to
-
actually hold everything up. A man doesn't have to be
-
the final say because we know who has the final say.
-
Oh God, y'all don't want to hear me. So I'm
-
just letting everybody know you need to be submitted to
-
God and you will find much who'll be like. I'm religious,
-
I'm spiritual, but I am saying I don't know church man.
-
He just want me for my money. You don't have money.
-
You're saying something that doesn't need You don't even qualify
-
for it. Let me stop. Ladies, Can I give you
-
a tip? I said, Ladies, Can I give you a tip?
-
Pick a man that has a pack. Pick a man
-
that has I'm not talking about fifty people. Pick a
-
man that has good men around him, and then go
-
have a conversation with them about him. You can talk
-
to anybody around me and find out what type of
-
man I am. If they boys, oh yeah saying y'are yeah,
-
y'all y'ah, he for real though, he for real? Though?
-
Run Why are you saying this? Because accountability? Watch this
-
shows up. You don't have to prove you're accountable. You'll
-
have fruit. But that's somebody who's subed to the mission.
-
And if you are a male in this place and
-
you want to actually become a man, choose being submitted
-
to God. Let me keep moving, Okay, I gotta say
-
one more thing. The thing that makes a male of
-
mut is a mutt usually doesn't have a master. The
-
people who pay all them thousands of dollars for pure
-
bread dogs, there's somebody who will train, teach, give them.
-
I got an expensive doll and I don't know why
-
Natalie'll excuse me, but her and my daughter's conspired and
-
went and got us a dog. And the thing that
-
made it expensive was not how cute it was, It
-
was what blood was running through it. We know the
-
lineage have. What I'm saying to you today is that
-
we have a master that has a plan for you,
-
that doesn't want to harm you, but wants to give
-
you hope in the future. And he wants you to
-
be subed to this mission. And if you were in
-
this room and you're ready to go to the next level,
-
the first thing you have to do is become submitted
-
to God's will for your life. Let me give you
-
number two. A biblical chooses work. It is quiet in
-
this room, I said, A biblical man, a mutt would
-
never choose this a much trying to hit the lottery. Oh,
-
y'all know what I'm talking. A mut's in his room
-
only making videos to become speedy or drusy or there.
-
And you have no job. You still live with your mom,
-
a mutt. Maybe I should do this just for men.
-
Maybe some of y'all are. Your pride is getting hurt.
-
You need a job if it doesn't pay you, it's
-
a hobby. Now I'm just out here working on my skills.
-
I'm just broock. You need a tuser, Mike, Why are
-
you saying this? It's biblical? He part of the thing
-
that takes Adam from being a male to a man.
-
Is as soon as He created him before Eve, he
-
gave him responsibility. Hey, here's a garden. Tend to it.
-
Name all these animals. What are you doing that will
-
take you days to complete, weeks to complete, years to complete.
-
A biblical man chooses work. I didn't say it's made
-
to work, because a man knows that he's not fully
-
in his purpose if he's not producing something. Oh my God,
-
be fruitful and multiplies, not just having kids. But this
-
is what I want to let you know. A mutt
-
will whine, a man will work. Man, Ain't nobody. Ain't
-
nobody trying to get Ain't nobody trying to give me
-
a chance? Man? The man is against me. Bro Hey, hey,
-
let me help you. A rake and a lawnmower. I
-
don't care how many convictions you got. You go to
-
the right neighborhood with a rake and a lawnmower. And
-
I'm not saying it's your purpose. I'm not saying it's
-
a forever thing. But many males are waiting for this
-
moment where something is gonna happen to drop them into
-
their dream. It's not coming because God couldn't trust you
-
with it anyway, because he looks at what you did
-
with what you have already. Check the parable of the talents,
-
he said, the one with one, the one with two,
-
the one with he said, what you do with what
-
I already gave you, at least double it, And if
-
you have ability to use your hands, you could go.
-
I don't want to give you all the ideas I
-
have in my head, but everybody, every man chooses work.
-
I'll give you some Bible because some of y'all is
-
looking at me real crazy. Right now, there's a scripture
-
that says if you don't work, you don't eat. And
-
this is why, ladies, you have to stop feeding men
-
who don't work.
-
Clocket, you are enabling a male to stay a mutt.
-
Where do munts eat? Anywhere they can find food? And
-
because your insecurity just wants to be next to a
-
warm body, you done bottom a Nike track suit. Let
-
me stop. I got real people in my head. Okay,
-
here we go, tewond Thessalonians three ten lazy people. Lazy
-
people want much, but get a little here with the Bible.
-
This is the Bible. This ain't me. Lazy people want
-
a lot but get a little. But those who work
-
hard will prosper. Proverbs thirteen four. Work brings profit, but
-
mere talk leads to poverty. Okay, a biblical man chooses
-
number three humility. The reason why that last one was
-
hard for you to hear is because you haven't any
-
had anybody tell you anything that hard in love before.
-
And the thing that rolls up was pride. And what
-
I want to let you know right now is is
-
you need to be humble to actually be a man.
-
Male say whatever they want. They can't take no criticism,
-
even if it comes from good people. They can't. No,
-
you ain't telling me you ain't never been here, you
-
ain't not And God saying, uh, I send Jesus to
-
be an example of a humble man. And everybody needs
-
to know. A mutt is hard headed, but a man
-
is humble. A mutt is hard headed, but a man is.
-
Everybody say humble because a humble man is unbeatable. I
-
want you to know. A humble man can get knocked
-
down and get back up. A humble man can apologize,
-
A humble man can try again. A humble man watch this,
-
can wash the feet of enemies. Jesus is at the
-
Last Supper with his disciples, says, I want to do
-
something that's uncommon. I want all y'all to take off
-
your sandals and I want to wash your feet. Now,
-
this is God in the flesh doing in cultural times
-
the most disgusting thing you could ever do, because this
-
was their mode of transportation. Imagine how much dirt and
-
dust and swords and cuts. And Jesus said, for every
-
one of you, I want to kneel down, and I
-
want to be humble enough to let you know. Yes, uh,
-
I'm the one that you call king, but I'm also
-
humble enough to get down here and touch your feet. Husbands,
-
this is the picture of submission that you have to
-
display for your wife to submit to you. You supposed
-
to submit to me? No, no, no, no, no, hold on wait,
-
I only can submit to somebody who has submitted. How
-
do you even know what submission is? Is? If you're
-
not submitted to God? I should be able as a
-
wife to come to you and say this makes me uncomfortable,
-
and you wrestle with that and go to the one
-
you're submitted to. God. How do I respond to this?
-
I should be able to go to my pack and
-
say yo, I am about done with her, and they
-
give you some wisdom. You should be able to go
-
to this word and find what am I supposed to do?
-
A male would never, a mutt would never, but a
-
humble man he says, what don't I know? What do
-
I need to do? What therapy do I need to
-
go to? What counseling do I need to pay for
-
another pair of one hundred and fifty dollars. Jordan's ain't
-
gonna help your insecurity. Another golf club is not going
-
to help that hole that's in your soul. What you
-
need is to be humble and get the help you need.
-
A mutt would never choose that, but a man would.
-
A man said, I need help. I have a pornography addiction,
-
and I'm not gonna hide this and try to white
-
knuckle my way through it. I gotta find some other
-
men who have beat this thing, and I gotta figure
-
out how to get myself into a healthy place. People
-
can't even clap for it because it's so pervasive. It's
-
in so many people's households. It's robbing people of their
-
manhood right now, and humility would say I need help.
-
A man chooses meekness, strength, under control. I'm gonna give
-
you these last two and then we'll talk about them later,
-
because I know everybody has to get this in a
-
deeper way, because today God's asking you to become a
-
man that represents him. So I'm gonna just say it
-
like this. A biblical man chooses stability. A mud is scattered,
-
but a man is stable. What are you doing consistently?
-
Have you ever had a table that had wobbly legs?
-
That's annoying, it's very difficult. And what do you do
-
when you get frustrated about the wobble? You put something
-
under it that's not supposed to be there. Oh, don't
-
worry about the book, it's just making us stable. Don't
-
worry about the alcohol. It's just making me stable. Don't
-
worry about my people pleasing, that's just making me stable.
-
Don't worry about me needing the attention from other women.
-
That's just making me stable. Well, God is asking us,
-
it's to come back to the craftsman and let him
-
reshape the table of your life. Because James won and
-
eight said a double minded man is unstable in all
-
of his ways. A mutt would never choose to be stable.
-
He wants to be scattered. Now I don't know what
-
I'm about to do. I'm gonna go over here, and then
-
I'm gonna go over here, and then I'm gonna talk
-
to the people, and then I don't. And even if
-
you don't say it out loud, that's what's happening here.
-
That's why all the images and all the movies and
-
all the different things is trying to make you scattered.
-
But the greatest version of you is the disciplined version
-
of you, the part of you that says, I do
-
not do that. I don't go there, I don't talk
-
to them. I have to be Somebody say stable, because
-
you only put valuable things on something that's stable. How
-
would you build a family, a life if it's not stable.
-
The fifth thing a biblical man chooses that a mutt
-
would never is sacrifice. A mud is selfish, a man
-
is sacrificial. I could give tons of examples, but the
-
greatest one that I have seen is that after Adam
-
had work and he was doing what God told him
-
to do, he said, I'm looking for a partner suitable
-
for the man. Not the male. Eve was not made
-
off of males. After Adam's raw version, he looked for
-
a suitable candidate after his refined, decided version. How do
-
we know? Because he said, I did not find anyone
-
suitable for him. So what did I do? I put
-
him to sleep? And what did Adam have to give
-
up to get Eve? He had to sacrifice a piece
-
of him to get the piece he needed. Man of God,
-
you will not get the wife, the partner, the lover
-
you are looking for until something dies in you. And
-
a mutt would never because a mutt is a male
-
unwilling to transform. But a man says, take my rib
-
take my pride, take my money here and take it.
-
Y'all know a man in this way should a man
-
love a woman? This is what the Bible says. Like Christ,
-
he went to the cross and died for the bride
-
of Christ. All the way to death. He said, that's
-
why you have to pick up your cross daily. Something
-
in you has to die every day for you to
-
have a healthy relationship. And a mutton is selfish. Now
-
this is my time, this is my life, this is
-
my money, this my family. Then die for it, the
-
family you love so much, Do like Jesus, die for it?
-
Are you a man or are you a mutt today?
-
I believe that God is calling everybody to biblical manhood
-
Romans five eight. But God demonstrates his own love for
-
us in this while we were yet sinners, Christ sacrifice
-
died for all of us so that we could be
-
in relationship goals with the Father. Standing all over this building.
-
You on number six said what kind of six I
-
was seeing? If y'all was listening, stand up, we're going home.
-
You can write it. Stand it up. The last thing
-
a biblical man does that a mutt would never don't
-
leave because I believe God is about to do something
-
very strong in transformation in this building. As a biblical man,
-
watch this shows up. I can go all through scripture
-
and find people who felt unequipped, and their only qualification
-
is I showed up. David doesn't meet Goliath if he
-
doesn't show up. Huh. I can just think of all
-
of these examples where God says, if if you just
-
do what you can, I'll do the rest. And maybe
-
a man that's in here right now and you're years
-
away from being a part of your kid's life, but
-
you still a drawing breath, show up. Some of y'all
-
just need to make a decision. I'm gonna keep showing
-
up to church because faith comes by hearing and hearing
-
the word of God. I kind of like Pastor mic
-
I don't know about all of the jokes because he
-
made me feel kind of crazy. But either that's some
-
good stuff that happens in there, and like, just keep
-
showing up instead of going to that job or taking
-
that meeting. You don't have to go home. Show up
-
for them kids, show up for your wife, show up
-
for yourself. Go to the therapy. It goes one hundred
-
and seven dollars. You used to spend that one night
-
at the club on girls who didn't even like you. Checkmate,
-
show up, show up to a tribe, get in community
-
with people. I don't know those people. You can't know
-
anybody you don't meet. How'd you meet your friends? You
-
got now? You had to meet them. Some of you
-
need whole new circles. The people you around, they might
-
make money, but they have holes in their soul. Somebody says,
-
show up, Biblical men, show up. I went through the
-
most intense counseling this week. I want to be at
-
home under the bed, but because I'm a biblical man,
-
I went and picked my wife up at twelve a m.
-
Last night from the airport she got back from counseling,
-
and I looked at her and I said, I know
-
you not coming to church today, but as the head
-
of his household, as the man that God called me
-
to be, the decision that I told you I would
-
do today, I had to do what show up? Yeah,
-
and some man's life is gonna be changed because they're
-
gonna decide I'm no longer just gonna be a male,
-
and I'm not gonna settle for being a mund I'm
-
going to walk into being a man of God today.
-
I want to do something that I don't usually do,
-
but I'm asking for every man that knows they need
-
to make a step, a step of faith, a bold step.
-
Whether you were in this room or you're watching online,
-
I want you to make a sign. If you were
-
in this room and you're ready to say decide, choose
-
to be a man of God, I want you to
-
get to this altar right now. And I don't want
-
you to delay. I want you to come, and ladies,
-
I need you to clap. I don't need you to
-
be thinking of fear. I don't need you to be
-
thinking about anybody else. This is manhood that you wanting
-
to stand in it. Y'all come up here. I'man from
-
all over the building. Y'all stand and face me. Oh,
-
there should be a bigger shout in this room right now.
-
If you're watching online, stand up in your living room,
-
stand up, y'all come up. There's a lot of men coming.
-
It's okay. If it was a game, you would be
-
cheering longer than that. These men are making a decision
-
to stand and to go to another place as you're coming.
-
Look at me. I need y'all to be praying. They're
-
still coming. Young men are coming, older men are coming,
-
Black men are coming, White men are coming. Men are God.
-
Y'all come up. Man ain't nothing to be scared of here.
-
Yoll hear me when I say this. Hear me when
-
I say this. Hear me when I say this. Everybody
-
listening to me. There are a lot of men that
-
are still at their seat because the insecurity is keeping them.
-
We're not judging anybody right now. This ain't about nobody
-
behind you. This is about you. I don't care how
-
much gray is on your hair or how young you are.
-
God's calling you the biblical manhood. Okay, listen to me.
-
I know what it is to put down the vices.
-
I know what it is to search your soul. And
-
the reason you trying to climb and get that money
-
and get that girl and get that thing is to
-
feel something in here that's never been talked about. It
-
me and you was just to be by ourselves and
-
to talk about the real of it. It's somebody didn't
-
get when I was a kid. It's something I never
-
saw before, or is something that happened to me as
-
I sit here. One in five men have been molested.
-
I want to tell you one of the men that was.
-
There's a percl say it's my story, and if I
-
run from it in shame, I'll never get it healed.
-
There are things that have happened to you that you've
-
never told anybody. There's stuff that you're dealing with right now,
-
and you got under the comforts and you're trying to
-
figure out you're wrestling for your whole life, and nobody's
-
ever said me too. The Me Too movement was for
-
the women. I want to come up here and start
-
it for the men. Me too. I'm lied me too,
-
I've cheated me too. I've hurt me too. I've had
-
no place to cry me and until we real with
-
each other like this, we settled for being months. Everything
-
we watch on our Instagram feed, some of y'all need
-
to go on to detox. All them girls working out
-
ain't helping you get no muscles. Come on, man, I
-
don't care that they're in the room. I'm talking to
-
you because it's keeping you at mail and God wants
-
you to be the man he created you to be,
-
because he desires you to be the father. And somebody
-
like well, I don't want kids or I can't have kids,
-
your nephews, your sister's kids, those people that are around you,
-
that friend that she don't have no fun. It's literally,
-
God say, I put you there for a reason, but
-
you can't even see your purpose because you won't become
-
the man I've called you to be. Today, I'm asking
-
you make the choice. Submit to God. I'm asking you,
-
but come, men that coming to churches are non negotiable.
-
What you're doing today. It's someday man, what you're talking about,
-
which is all the we're going to church. I can't
-
pull up. I'm watching it all Loine, No, no, no, no, no, bro,
-
I can't no. The game will be on DVR at
-
they gonna win or lose without us comes up to
-
the mission today, I'm gonna pray for you. I'm gonna
-
pray that you make the decision I made at thirty
-
one years old. You said, pastor thirty one carried it
-
to minus when you already a pastor. Your vocation doesn't matter.
-
You can fake and act like you a man for
-
a long time. Come on, some of y'all know, yea
-
them grades came from stress, trying to hold everything together.
-
Who did I what? And God's saying today you can
-
walk into freedom any man that be in Christ. He
-
is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold
-
He makes everything new. Every man in this place that's
-
making that decision, lift your hands right now. I want
-
to pray for you, and I need y'all to stretch
-
your hands and pray right now. Father, in the name
-
of Jesus, I thank you for every young man, every
-
middle aged man, every older man, every seasoned man who
-
is taking this step of faith to trust you with
-
their entire life. Today I speak life, no matter how
-
deep the hole is, no matter how many times they've
-
messed up. No matter how many times, Father God they've said,
-
I can't make this. Today, God, I'm asking that you
-
do a work on the inside of them, from the
-
youngest to the oldest. Father God, that revolutionizes their lives. Today,
-
I'm praying for transformation. I pray that you would heal
-
the hearts of the men of God that are under
-
the sound of my voice. Today, God, I'm asking for
-
something unique. Would you make their souls hold no more fear,
-
no more secrets, no more lying, no more hiding, no
-
more unhealed trauma. Today starts a revolution of transformation in
-
their lives. Everything around them will prosper. They will be
-
fruitful and multiply. They will not be men who go
-
back on their word. There yes will be yes, and
-
their no will be no. They will be men of integrity,
-
men of standards, and they will be in relationships, Father
-
God that glorify you. I pray for their families, that
-
their families will live and not die, that they will
-
have legacy. I pray for their marriages, even if the
-
marriage just started off toxic. I'm thanking you for a turnaround.
-
In the name of Jesus. I'm thinking you, Father God
-
that today you are doing a deep work on the
-
inside that's gonna show on the outside. Today. I thank
-
you for restoration. Look at me, man, This is how
-
I'm gonna end this. Because your emotions are gonna follow
-
your decision. Hear what I just said. Some people think
-
tears mean you changed. I've cried and gone back and
-
done the same thing. Your decision is going to change
-
your emotional state. In the beginning, when God created you,
-
he looked at his creation, and do you know what
-
he said about you? He said you were good. I
-
want to tell you you're a good man. I want to
-
tell you, no matter what you've done, under all of
-
the debris, you're a good man. You're a good man.
-
I need somebody to hear this in yourself. You're a
-
good man. I know it happened to you. I know
-
you did some bad stuff, but you're a good man.
-
Start to confess it. God called you good. So maybe
-
I was raised in the hood, maybe I was exposed
-
to some things early. But under all of that, somebody say,
-
I'm a good man. Confess that over yourself every day.
-
You're a good man. You're a good man. Come on,
-
say it. I'm a good man. No say it like
-
you mean it. I'm a good man. How dare anybody
-
call you what God has already labeled? So don't answer
-
and live to the standard of anything else. I'm a
-
good man. I made a mistake, but I'm a good man.
-
I made some poor choices, but I'm a good man
-
because that's how He made me. Don't let Instagram, don't
-
let toxic women or bitter women tell you who you are.
-
I want to say this because there's an attack against manhood.
-
No man is good, all of them dogs, all of them.
-
That's what happened to me. That's what I did. But
-
God said I'm good all this week. Every day you
-
wake up, Thank you Father, Thank you that i'm changing,
-
Thank you that I'm becoming. I'm a good man. Encourage
-
your brother. What's up, good man? What's up? That's a
-
good man right there? You hear me. Oh, this is
-
my brother. He's a good man. You I'm saying, come on,
-
look at him, brother, and tell him you're a good man.
-
You're a good man. You're a good man. Bro. Hey listen. Oh,
-
I feel the presence of God right now, y'all. Good man,
-
you're a good man. Don't accept an anything else. Ladies
-
start acknowledging you're a good man. You better call out
-
of them what God has placed in them. It don't
-
matter what it looks like. Right now, Hey fellow, you're
-
a good man. Listen, hold on before all my brothers
-
go back today seat. If you haven't met Jesus this
-
for you. Don't come up here and just get a
-
feel good. Don't just become a good man, be a
-
god man man. You hear me and anybody under the
-
sound of my voice, if you have not accepted Jesus,
-
today is the day with these good brothers. If you
-
want to make Jesus Christ your personal Lord. And said you,
-
whether you're watching this behind a concrete wall, or you
-
watching this at the gym, or in a pit house
-
or at a presidential suite, I want you to know
-
that right now, today is the day of salvation, and
-
Jesus went to the cross to sacrifice for you so
-
you could have a relationship with the Father. And I
-
know we're a little bit over time, but I believe
-
this is the perfect moment for you to give your
-
life to Jesus Christ today. If you are at this
-
altar today, a month makes excuses a man chooses today,
-
I sat before you life and death, and I'm gonna
-
give you the answer to the test. Choose life. It's
-
the right answer. If you want to choose Jesus today
-
at this altar and all over this room, on the
-
count of three, Ladies, you are included in this because
-
some of you have been so moved by this moment
-
right now, because you are a product of not having
-
a good man in your life. He didn't know how
-
to show up for you. And we're gonna help you
-
heal because God's given us wisdom on that. But today,
-
I believe God's gonna do something brand new in all
-
of us today. If you want to accept Jesus man, woman, boy, girl,
-
child today on the counter. Three, I just want you
-
to slip your hand up in the air. Then we're
-
gonna pray together. One you're making the greatest decision of
-
your life. Two, I'm telling you He's gonna write your
-
name in the life book of Life. I'm already seeing
-
hands right there. Three. If you want to make Jesus
-
Christ your personal Lord and savior, lad y'all, I see you,
-
I see you, I see you, I see you, I
-
see you. In more than that. God, y'all can celebrate. Hey,
-
listen for the benefit of those who are coming to Christ.
-
All of us gonna pray this prayer. I see God
-
doing deep work on y'all. Come on, let's pray. Say God,
-
thank you for sending Jesus just for me. Today, I
-
give you my life. I repent of my old ways
-
and I turn to you. I believe you lived, you die,
-
and you rose again with all power just for me.
-
Today I decide my life is all yours. Change me,
-
renew me, transform me. I'm yours in Jesus' name. Amen.
-
Jase like celebrite. Mm hmm
