  1. Welcome to Transformation Church podcast, where we represent God to

  2. the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so

  3. glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe

  4. God will transform your life. Do today's message.

  5. I don't ever want to present that following God is easy.

  6. I don't ever want to present to you that doing

  7. what God asked you to do will always make you

  8. feel good. I wish that would have happened before I

  9. got up here. It's the fourth time I've cried in

  10. twenty twenty six and this only were only three months in. Huh,

  11. that's for me. That's a world record. You needed that cry.

  12. I did too. You hear me and ain't nothing wrong.

  13. But sometimes I told somebody I almost preached the message

  14. today called tender hearted, because I felt that one of

  15. the greatest attacks of the enemy is not to take

  16. you out, is to take your tenderness when you stop

  17. caring about people, stop caring about things, and stop caring

  18. about how it affects people. And I never want to

  19. become a professional Christian or a professional pastor. I never

  20. want to do this automatically. I want to stay tender

  21. to God's voice, and I thank God that those moments

  22. can still happen. I thank God for his grace. Somebody

  23. else needed.

  24. That said it don't always.

  25. Love.

  26. Yeah, Lord will perfect concerned. It's telling you that sooner.

  27. Turning enough. Thing turning off for me yourself. Give God

  28. a shot of praise. Nah, I said, if you believe

  29. it for yourself, it's turning around. Look at your neighbors,

  30. say it's turning around for me around. Come on, look

  31. at one more person, say it's turning around, turning around,

  32. it's turning around for me. I don't know why tears

  33. feel so heavy because you're sewing. Hey, that soul in

  34. tears will eat thing joy. You better quit rob.

  35. God's gonna give you something to cry about because hey,

  36. that's soul in tears will reaping joy. Hey, somebody ought

  37. to just say I got something to cry about.

  38. I got something to cry out because hey, that's soul

  39. it tears. We'll repin John.

  40. I get this time to riffing joy. It's gonna be

  41. worth to tears.

  42. It's gonna be worth.

  43. His because hey, that's soul in tears will repin John.

  44. If you've been crying over anything, you might want to

  45. get excited.

  46. Say that soul. It teas how rebit joy. The seasons

  47. are changing your time.

  48. Say that so it is. We'll read bit jod. We

  49. believe your word. God, it's turning around. It's turning.

  50. Take a leap and say it's turning around for me.

  51. Shut it up, me, it's turning around, Goose, it's turning

  52. turnround for me.

  53. Well praising right now like you just got the report.

  54. It's turning. It's turning for me. Oh my god, I.

  55. Got to move because I'm about to get happy on that.

  56. I was sewing. I was sewing for a future that

  57. I haven't walked into yet. I'm sewing for another level

  58. of toy, another level of peace, another level of satisfaction

  59. killed by the Holy Spirit. It's turning around, turning over

  60. for me. He turns my morning. What's up in a dance?

  61. Some of y'all, y'all haven't danced in a.

  62. That's up.

  63. Every tier? That's up, boy, that just changed everything, every tier.

  64. I'm sewing for something.

  65. I'm not wasting a tear in this next season.

  66. Somebody better hear me. I'm not wasting a tear.

  67. It's coming back multiplied and it's coming back with joy.

  68. That's what I needed today, My God, I needed that.

  69. Every tier, every tier, every tier. He bottles them all. Huh,

  70. every tier. Joy is coming in another level, coming up

  71. and crying so much, crying yourself to sleep, trying to

  72. figure out the next season. It's not wasted.

  73. He's about to do something that could not.

  74. Be done any other way. Every Tier is coming back

  75. up as Jay. Yeah, Joy, Showy in my family, Showy

  76. in my soul, Showy in my life, Shoy in my heart,

  77. Joy in my mind.

  78. It's coming back Joy.

  79. Yes, sir, Charles, every tier we sew Abby Avery's here.

  80. All right, all right, y'all, that just made sense of

  81. the last season for some of us.

  82. Bryce, the tears aren't wasted. I'm telling you right now,

  83. a harvest of joy, y'all. Get ready for the best

  84. rest of the year. It's a harvest of joy. N

  85. You don't gotta receive it.

  86. But some of us we've been crying too long. It's

  87. time for a season change.

  88. We need the joy of the Lawyer because it will

  89. be our strength.

  90. Yes, sir, all right, all right, Well that frames this

  91. whole message. Sit down, I got forty minutes. You want

  92. every moment of this message, y'all. Gotta lead that in

  93. the in the thing, lead that in the broadcast, cause

  94. it's gonna make all this makes sense. All right, Well,

  95. welcome to Transformation Church, where we believe in God and

  96. we let the spirit move. And I felt a burden. Honestly,

  97. I wasn't gonna preach today. I talked to Charles two

  98. days ago. I like, bro, you got you got a

  99. starmon ready, and he always got one locked and loaded,

  100. and that's my dog. And I told him last night,

  101. I was like, I'm fifty fifty whether I'm gonna preach tomorrow.

  102. I said, I'm gonna wake up in the morning and

  103. if God's like, nah, you got it, then I'm gonna go.

  104. If not, i'ma be like you got it. And that's

  105. the beauty of having partnership. And I woke up this

  106. morning with a burden. And the best messages are not

  107. something that I've planned all week. I'm praying, I'm harvesting,

  108. I'm writing stuff down. I'll be having fifteen different messages

  109. ready for y'all on Sunday. But I need God to

  110. give specificity on what he wants to say, because the

  111. right thing at the wrong time is not a blessing.

  112. Y'all got what I'm saying. But today in this relationship

  113. goes I in real life, y'all gotta help me with

  114. the end. This is week four. I think it's week

  115. four of relationship goes. Help me in real life. We

  116. wanted to actually work in real life, and I believe

  117. that God wants everybody to win in relationships. But I

  118. also think as I went to the Holy Spirit about

  119. who I was supposed to talk to and what I

  120. was supposed to say today, he told me that there

  121. was a group that were that was forgotten in this

  122. scope of relationships that today I needed to speak specifically

  123. to a group of people who are in this room,

  124. watching online, watching in the correctional facility that have been

  125. usually not acknowledged when relationship series happened, and and and

  126. a lot of times it's focused on the people who single,

  127. people who married, people who confused. But today I want

  128. to preach a message for a new group of people

  129. that are entering the chat. Write this down. Today's message

  130. is for the second time single, the second time single

  131. to today, I need to preach to a group of

  132. people who are preparing for a promise after pain. Today

  133. I need to talk to the people who need to

  134. prepare after pain, and for everybody, this is going to

  135. apply to you, because many times, if a message is

  136. not directly for you, it's for somebody you're supposed to touch.

  137. And a lot of people tune out messages if it

  138. doesn't apply today situation. But they don't know what they're

  139. about to run into with their children, they cowork, or

  140. they boss. And God was trying to give you preparation

  141. for that thing, and he was like, oh, that messages

  142. for them, No, no, no, no, it's for you to be

  143. a liaison hands in feet of God to somebody else.

  144. So I need everybody taking notes today, and I need

  145. you to play your cards right because I don't want

  146. you to end up second time single. Okay, maybe that

  147. was too quick, because some of you, when you don't

  148. adhere to what God is asking you to do in

  149. the season, you forfeit your opportunity to make something good great.

  150. I'm going too fast already, okay, so let me slow down. Today.

  151. I have to talk to the people who are looking

  152. for what to do after the devastation. How do I

  153. have life after the divorce, life after the disaster, life

  154. after the disappointment, life after the deadbeat baby daddy? How

  155. do I move on with life after the domestic abuse?

  156. Life after Watch this a detour? How many people's life

  157. have taken the detour you didn't expect? Oh, come on, y'all,

  158. you was not expecting to be in Tulsa, Oklahoma in

  159. twenty twenty six, in a tornado this weekend, asking yourself, Lord,

  160. why me? Somebody said, he we hear God, We obey you.

  161. God.

  162. There are people in this room and under the sound

  163. of my voice that don't know what to do with

  164. life after DIDs. Distance that was created by raising a

  165. special needs child. See, I'm talking to people who are

  166. in a niche right now, special people who raise facial

  167. needs children. The divorce rate is so high because their

  168. whole life then goes to being concentrated on raising this

  169. child that they both feel hopeless and in despair about

  170. what do we do after the diagnosis? Oh? God, the

  171. church don't want to talk about just pray. Hold on,

  172. you got to give me some practical How am I

  173. about to look? And look? They don't want to make

  174. love to me no more. They don't want to How

  175. do I deal with it after the disaster? I wasn't

  176. planning to lose them like that. That wasn't a part

  177. of the plan for me and my family wrote we

  178. charted out the course. How do I live relational life

  179. after a destructive decision? Now, nobody wants to talk about it,

  180. but one decision could change your whole relations landscape. Oh

  181. y'all don't want it. Y'all want to play with me?

  182. Off of here. One decision, one wrong test message, one

  183. forgetful night. Okay, let me stop. I'm in people's business

  184. too much right now? What do I do with life after? Discovery?

  185. Y'all know what I'm talking about? Discovery? You are doing

  186. things one way. You find out that it's the wrong way.

  187. Now you want to do a God's way. But I

  188. only know the way that I've been doing it. People

  189. who are deciding to not live in an alternate sexual lifestyle?

  190. How do I do life after? I've already been with

  191. these type of partners in those type of how do

  192. I do life after? And nobody in the church wants

  193. to talk about it? But the truth of the matter is,

  194. what do we do with the life relationally after somebody dies?

  195. Who you gave your life to? I pray it don't

  196. happen to nobody. But what happens when you're staring death

  197. at the door with the person that you love. Second

  198. time single? And the truth of the matter is so

  199. many people try to protect themselves when they get single again,

  200. that they never let themselves be open to what God

  201. may have for them because I never imagine this. I

  202. can't deal with it. And what that is saying when

  203. you get down to the court is there's an area

  204. that I will not let God develop in me. Period.

  205. I've been hurt too bad. God. If you want this

  206. area of my life, you're gonna have to pry it

  207. out of my hands. And he said, you want that

  208. hard heart, keep it because it truly is a decision

  209. of what we do after. So today, if you are

  210. second time single, if you are dealing with any of

  211. the things that I've been talking about, or you know somebody,

  212. I believe today is going to encourage you because I

  213. believe being single again is not the end. It can

  214. be preparation for a divine alignment. I gotta speak this

  215. oil to your soul right now because some of you

  216. have been so discarded, so hurt, so frustrated, And for

  217. all those who not in the relationship. Take notes, because

  218. this is gonna help you pick right the first time. Okay, today,

  219. I believe that you can experience, by God's grace, relational

  220. Watch this restoration. Write that down. I want relational restoration.

  221. And some of you it doesn't even have to be

  222. with a romantic partner. It can be relational restoration with

  223. a child. You have been a parent without connection to

  224. your kids, so this applies to you too. They've been

  225. far away from God. Y'all have had some breaches that

  226. I ain't never and you ain't never, and you said

  227. some words I shouldn't have had you or you couldn't

  228. have done this, and da da da da, and there's

  229. been a gap. Today. God's saying, I'm believing that by

  230. my word, there can be relationship restore. If somebody just

  231. needs to get a glimmer of hope in your mind

  232. right now, what would it look like for me to

  233. actually not be mad at them when I saw them?

  234. Some of y'all they even thought of that. Every time

  235. you think about them, you think bow, bust them in

  236. the face, trip them, put something in their food. I

  237. know you you watched too many of the Netflix documentaries,

  238. but what would happen if you saw them and you

  239. could actually think the best form that would be restoration,

  240. when you wouldn't have to jump over an evil thought

  241. to think a good one. Okay, restoration. Have you ever

  242. watched the movie and only saw like the first thirty

  243. minutes of it, or you ever watched the book and

  244. only read the first chapter? And then somebody that's cool

  245. because most of us feel like we're a better writer

  246. and director than the people who write and direct movies. Oh, y'all,

  247. come on right now, y'all know we'd be like, I

  248. know what's gonna happen. She to killer and they gonna

  249. get together at the end. How many people like that

  250. when y'all watch stories and movies? First chapter of a book.

  251. It's cool until somebody who saw the whole thing asked

  252. you what you thought about it, and it'll be like, so,

  253. how did you like the book? Boy? How did you

  254. like the book? You remember that part? I mean, tell

  255. me the part that you were my book And it's

  256. one of those things that you try to put together,

  257. the dots, you try to connect it because you didn't

  258. read past the beginning. Today, I came to tell you

  259. how devastating would it be that you stopped living after

  260. the first chapter of your relational life. For those who

  261. are second time single or will find themselves in this

  262. position your first chapter, write this down is not your

  263. last chapter. A whole story can change in one chapter

  264. of a book. So some of y'all need to today

  265. decide by faith. I'm turning the page. I'm turning the page.

  266. I know this last season has been despaired. I know

  267. I've hated all men for the last decade, the male man,

  268. the amazon man, I hate them all. That was your

  269. pain talking though. Could we make a decision today? All

  270. men are bad because you ain't met all men, these absolutes.

  271. All women ain't mean and downgrade and talk. They're not

  272. because you ain't met all of them. But some of

  273. us have decided that our relational chapter is over because

  274. we had a bad beginning. And today I want you

  275. to tell yourself by faith. Flip the page. Come on,

  276. say it, say flip the page. What could happen this

  277. year if you would open up your heart to see

  278. what God had for you relationally? God is not finished

  279. writing your story. I gotta believe this. Either Romans eight

  280. is real, Lord, it's not. It either is all things,

  281. even this first bad chapter or second chapter. Somebody'll on

  282. your sixth chapter and it's still bad. Turn the page,

  283. turn the page, because all things are working together for

  284. the good of those who are calling that love him.

  285. So today I want to help you because there is

  286. a relational story that I want to bring your attention

  287. to that everybody loves to preach, but they don't have

  288. the context to it. Today I'm preaching the story of

  289. Ruth and Boas. And most ladies look at bow Ass.

  290. He paid. The Bible tells us he's a man, a

  291. good stature. The Bible tells us that he shot and bawling.

  292. I don't know how I look, but all the girl

  293. like you. But I think everybody skips the part of

  294. this story that is actually the intention of how Ruth

  295. even is discovered by Boass. Because Ruth is second time single.

  296. Did y'all know that Ruth is not just somebody looking

  297. for a man. This is her after devastation, after grieving,

  298. This is her after losing everything. She gets paired up

  299. with her mother in law, Naomi. And you can read

  300. this in Ruth one, two, three, and four. I can't

  301. go through the whole thing, but I'm gonna point out

  302. some descriptions for you. Literally, Ruth loses everything that made

  303. her secure in the first chapter of Ruth. What chapter

  304. did she lose it in? This is why you cannot

  305. stop believe in God, because the end is gonna be

  306. better than the beginning if you posture yourself right after

  307. the loss in the first chapter. I'm about to preach

  308. this thing Ruth chapter one, verse one, preparing for a

  309. promise after pain. In the days when the judges ruled

  310. in Israel, a severe famine came up on the land.

  311. So a man from Bethlehem and Judah left his home

  312. and went to live in the country of Mohamman, taking

  313. his wife and two sons with him. The man's name

  314. was Alimelech and his wife Naomi. Their two sons were

  315. Mayhelon and Gideon. I don't know, Just try when you

  316. reading the Bible, just try. People be so deep with that.

  317. Kk I'm gonna make his own nag still get the point.

  318. They were from Bethlehem to the land of Judea and one,

  319. and when they reached Moab they settled there verse three.

  320. Then Alimelet died. Hold On Naomi's husband died was left

  321. with her two sons. Then the two sons followed after

  322. their daddy and they died hold on. One married a

  323. woman named Orprah and the other one named a woman

  324. named Ruth. But about ten years after their relationship, both

  325. of them died. They left Naomi alone with her two

  326. sons of her husband. So it's three women that are

  327. now walking in life, second time single. Now, for most

  328. of us, this is when you would get your cup

  329. of wine, put on movies, eat all the things that

  330. bring you comfort, and call it in after a decade

  331. of being in real relationship. This wasn't somebody that was

  332. dating somebody. This was a decade that ends in devastation.

  333. Ruf loses her person, which was her husband. She loses

  334. provision because back in that time, if you didn't have

  335. a husband, that means that you aren't secure. They literally

  336. were in the middle of a famine, so she cannot

  337. run to the grocery store and get food. She loses

  338. her place, She ends up having to move cities to

  339. be able to follow with Naomi, and she loses her

  340. protection from being in a relationship. She lose all of

  341. this In chapter hows Mike, why are you saying this?

  342. Because some of y'all have finished reading, and it's only

  343. chapter one. You stop believing. And it's only chapter one. Yes,

  344. your relationship has sucked for seventeen years, But what if?

  345. What if this was the backdrop to the greatest relation

  346. will come back in history? It's only chapter why, and

  347. Ruth is about to show all of us what to

  348. do when we find ourselves in chapter one. Drop down

  349. to verse nine. This is her mother in law, Naomi decide,

  350. you know what, I'm in a foreign land. I got

  351. to go back home where I know stuff. I'm leaving y'all, babies,

  352. y'all stay here, hopefully you find a new man. But

  353. I got to go home. And this is what happened

  354. verse nine. May the Lord bless y'all with security of

  355. another marriage, because I got to get up out of here.

  356. Then she kissed them goodbye. She kissed Orpra and Ruth goodbye,

  357. and they all broke down crying. No. They said, we

  358. want to go with you to your people. But Naomi replied,

  359. why should you go with me? Can I still get birth?

  360. Give you other song? I can't do nothing for you, girl,

  361. Go find you a man. This is the interpretation she's saying,

  362. go do it verse sixteen. But Rufe replied, don't ask

  363. me to leave you and turn back. I gotta go forward.

  364. I cannot go back. Yes, I lost everything, but I'm

  365. not about to stay here and die with it. I

  366. gotta go forward. Wherever you go, watch this, I will go.

  367. Wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be

  368. my people, and watch the strongest statement, and your God

  369. will be my God. Now I want you to understand

  370. the point that I didn't write down, but the Holy

  371. Spirit just dropped it on me. When you literally are

  372. coming out of devastation, you just might need somebody to

  373. hold on to. She literally didn't say I'm gonna make

  374. this plan. She said, whatever you do, I'm gonna do.

  375. I think there was a prophet Ludacris. He said, when

  376. I move, you move, just like some of y'all studied

  377. with me. What I'm saying to you is, sometimes you

  378. don't have the strength to make it up. You just

  379. need to follow or mimic somebody you pray. I'm gonna pray.

  380. I don't know what to say what you're saying. I'm

  381. gonna say what you're saying. This is why it's important

  382. to be around the right people because sometimes you don't

  383. have the words, you don't have the practices. The best

  384. way to get in shape is gonna work out with

  385. somebody in shape. Why because I don't know what this

  386. move is the reason I got a trainer is because

  387. I need to know what does this do? Y'all hear

  388. what I'm saying. And I don't even gotta know the name.

  389. I don't gotta know what muscle it works. I don't

  390. have to know how this applies. If I watch you,

  391. somehow my form changes, somehow I desire changes. And some

  392. of you have been going in life after devastation by yourself,

  393. and today I want you to grab on to somebody

  394. who at least has some practices. We're gonna see in

  395. a moment. Naomi ain't out of the woods. Naomi still

  396. got her issues. That's why around here we believe in progression,

  397. not perfection. But you might want to find somebody with

  398. some practices, some principles. You cuss your kids out, find

  399. somebody how they discipline their kids without cussing their kids out. Johnny,

  400. stop it or I'll take your stuff. I'm saying you

  401. might have to watch this mimic before you see a miracle. Okay,

  402. So I just need to give you a few steps

  403. to do after you find yourself in second time single. Okay,

  404. this is gonna help everybody number one make a decision

  405. based in faith, or let me say it like this,

  406. make a faith decison. The reason why most people never

  407. come out of the season that they're in when they're

  408. in the second time single is they stop believing God

  409. because if God was good, this would have never happened. Oh,

  410. can we talk about it? If God was good, this

  411. would have never happened. I would have found out about

  412. this before. He been a player for this long. She

  413. been creeping this long. Why would I lose them like that?

  414. Why would he even let us get married if he

  415. was going to be tragically taken like that? Why could we? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?

  416. And what ends up happening is then the whys of

  417. this fallen world. The whole tactic of the enemy is

  418. for us to lose our faith. But I want you

  419. to see very distinctly that when something bad happened, Ruth

  420. had to anchor her faith immediately. She had to make

  421. a decision of faith right now. The easiest thing would

  422. have been for her to stay where she was at.

  423. But she chose faith over familiarity. She chose purpose over

  424. the past. She chose a covenant over comfort, and she

  425. chose forward over fear. How do we know that she

  426. goes with Naomi to a place she ain't got no

  427. connections in. She literally is like Abraham when God says,

  428. go to the land, I will show you. The only

  429. way you go to somewhere and don't know where you're

  430. going is by faith. Somebody say, by faith for you

  431. to get in the place you need to be. Relationally,

  432. God may ask you to go to unfamiliar places like counseling. Okay,

  433. some of y'all might have to show up in unfamiliar

  434. places like therapy. You might have to show up in

  435. unfamiliar places like the doctor's office. Why are y'all so

  436. scared to go to the doctor. You're praying that what's

  437. real can't be healed in a different way. And I know,

  438. and I'm especially talking to black people. What is wrong

  439. with you? Yo? Thad been hurting for sixteen years and

  440. you and I plead the blood over you gotta go

  441. get your blood checked? Oh God, no, I'm there's cheers

  442. for stuff. Y'all hear? What I'm saying. I'm just I'm

  443. literally telling you right now it might take a step

  444. of faith, and some of y'all faith's decisions is not clear.

  445. I was devastated because that's what happened. But you still

  446. the Bible says the just shall live by that's even

  447. when it sucks, even when it's unfair, even when it

  448. doesn't feel like this should have happened, I still have

  449. to You don't get a pass on using faith just

  450. because you're in a hard season. I'm telling you from

  451. what I know. Some people be like God time out,

  452. time out, time out, time out, and God's like that.

  453. I'm sorry, but it don't work like that. I'll comfort you,

  454. I'll encourage you. I'll be there with you. I even

  455. told you, in this world you will have trouble, but

  456. take her because I've overcome the world. And everybody be like,

  457. but God, can I get a twenty four month break?

  458. Come on? Can anybody be with me? Has anybody asked

  459. God for a twenty four month break? Bills paid? Losing weight,

  460. no workout? Yeah? Can I just have good? You say?

  461. Ain't wanted good hair, growing good? But faith without? Oh,

  462. y'all know the Bible. Faith without works is dead. And

  463. so I found out that Ruth did something that all

  464. of us have to do when we're second time single.

  465. We have to make a faith decision. And I want

  466. to just say this for those who desire to be

  467. in a relationship again in real life, your next relationship

  468. should come after your next level with God God. If

  469. your relationship with Him didn't grow, you may not have

  470. used the season that God has you in in the

  471. best way that you could. And that's what Proverbs three

  472. five and six is. Trust in the Lord with all

  473. your heart, lean not to your own understanding and all

  474. your ways. Acknowledge him. And what is he gonna do?

  475. Direct your pack? He's saying, would you just please level

  476. up with me? And Ruth shows us you know what,

  477. I'm gonna trust the God that this woman is God.

  478. I'm gonna know God better. So if you find yourself

  479. in a second time single situation, make a faith decision

  480. to know God better. Second thing I need you to

  481. do if you're in second time single situation, identify the loss,

  482. but don't accept the label. See this is not just

  483. happening to Ruth. This also happened in Naomi. She lost

  484. her husband first and I want to go to Ruth

  485. chapter one, verse twenty, because Ruth was in her first chapter,

  486. but so was Naomi. And the this book of the

  487. Bible is not called Naomi. And I think this might

  488. be a little bit of reason why it's not called Naomi.

  489. It's because of Naomi's stance when she became second time single,

  490. was not necessarily the stance of faith. Watch it. She said,

  491. don't call me Naomi.

  492. No MoU.

  493. Instead, Oh this happened to me, call me Mara, for

  494. the Almighty has made my life bitter, very bitter for me.

  495. I went away fool, but the Lord has brought me

  496. home empty. Why call me Naomi when the Lord has

  497. caused me to suffer and the Almighty has sent such

  498. tragedy upon me. I can't even be mad at her situation.

  499. I want to be I want to be clear with you.

  500. She has every right to feel what she feels. But

  501. she blamed God for what he was trying to use,

  502. not as something that happened to her. He uses the

  503. things because we're in this fallen world that happened to us,

  504. as places where he can get glory, redemption, and transformation

  505. out of your life. But she decided to label the

  506. season instead of just identify with the pain she was feeling.

  507. Let me say it to you like this. It's okay

  508. to identify with the grief, but don't let it become

  509. your identity. This hurts, this sucks. I don't want to

  510. be here. Why would this happen? But she named herself bitter.

  511. Don't call me nothing else but bitter. And you might

  512. have not named yourself bitter. But I want you to

  513. know that all of us have named ourselves something. There's

  514. something that we have started calling ourselves that nobody else

  515. knows that we call ourselves, but we try to rename ours. No,

  516. I'm just I'm just, I'm just shy. But God's called

  517. you to do things on a big scale. How can

  518. you Why would you claim that title? Why? I'm just

  519. not a people person. Hold on, but he called you

  520. the people. You can say like I'm getting more comfortable.

  521. You don't have to identify what. You don't have to

  522. disassociate with what's happening. I'm getting more comfortable talking to people.

  523. But I'm not a people person. That's a label. And

  524. when I'm asking you, church is what label have you accepted?

  525. Even tried to convince other people to call you. I

  526. don't know about you, but when you're young, if you

  527. don't like your name, you be trying to make up

  528. new names. Y'all. Anybody ever make up a new name

  529. for themselves? And did it stick? Did it not? You know,

  530. we have a pastor and associate campus pastor here that

  531. tried to rename himself Blaze. Pastor Blaze? Would you stand up? Pastor?

  532. Will heck ing Bob at one season of his life

  533. was trying to get people to call him Blazes based

  534. on how much weed he was smoking. He wanted that

  535. season to identify him forever pastor Blaze. Thank god it

  536. didn't stick.

  537. No, no, no.

  538. But what I'm what I'm saying is I'm using that

  539. as a light joke. But I'm just saying, like some

  540. of y'all have identified as lonely, identified as angry, be angry,

  541. but don't accept the label. And because Naomi accepted the

  542. label of bitter, I bet it worked against what God

  543. was trying to give her in her life. Some of

  544. y'all have just accepted, well, I'm just a mean person.

  545. What what? No?

  546. No, no, no, no, no. You're hurting and hurt people hurt people,

  547. and you've been ignoring and fighting counseling and therapy and

  548. and accountability and transformation. But please don't own the label

  549. because that's not who God created you to be. Does

  550. everybody hear what I'm saying? And I need you. I

  551. don't got time, but if I sat down with you,

  552. we could identify either a known label or one that

  553. you've accepted that only you know that you need to

  554. divorce yourself from. But I love God because even when

  555. Naomi decided that she was gonna be bitter, God still

  556. saw her better. Do you know that the name Mara

  557. the only time it's recorded in this is when she

  558. said it. Every place after this you can reach chapter

  559. one two three fold, they never call her Mara again.

  560. It's almost this the guy got girls shut up Naomi

  561. like she was, like, I'm Mara, but girl be quiet

  562. and Naomi and so Naomi in Ruth and Naowei in Ruth.

  563. And he was calling her who she was until it

  564. started to change who she was. And some of y'all

  565. need to say, I'm blessed, I'm happy, I'm.

  566. Secure, I'm faithful until.

  567. It starts to line up with the identity that God

  568. has given you name yourself whatever you want. God's not

  569. acknowledging it. Okay, that's the grace of God. All right,

  570. let's keep going. Third thing, if you find yourself second

  571. time single, that disappointment still your diligence. If you find

  572. yourself in a second time single situation. A lot of

  573. times this is where people their productivity goes down because

  574. they think somehow that their calling and their purpose is

  575. now forfeited because they don't have that person. And I

  576. know it's quiet in here, but I got to talk

  577. to a lot of people that this never gets talked about,

  578. and so church people don't even know how to deal

  579. with this, Like, let me just pray for you, Lord,

  580. bless them. Thanks. But the truth of the matter is

  581. I needed you to tell me. How can I still

  582. be diligent when my heart is hurting? How do I

  583. still encourage somebody else when I don't feel encouraged? Come on,

  584. let's get practical. How do I actually wake up and

  585. command my day and joy? And I actually feel like

  586. everything is stolen from me? Ruth Chapter two, verse two.

  587. It says, one day Ruth the more About said to Naomi,

  588. let me go out into the harvest field to pick

  589. up the stalks of grain left behind by anyone who

  590. is kind enough to let me do it. Naomi replied,

  591. all right, girl, go ahead, my daughter, go ahead. So

  592. Rufe went out to gather grain behind the harvesters, and

  593. it so happened she found herself working on a field

  594. that belonged to that the relative of her father in law, Alimela.

  595. What I'm saying is, your relationship is not on the

  596. other side of just disappointment. It's on the other side

  597. of diligence. What is God placed in your hands to

  598. still work even though you're in a season where it

  599. feels like I shouldn't have to do this, And God

  600. is requiring all of us watch this, to choose productivity

  601. not pity. Okay, I know it's a hard word. I

  602. know she practiced a worth, ethic, responsibility, and self respect.

  603. Watch this. Her healing strategy was productivity, not pity. It

  604. was part of her healing to actually pick up what

  605. she had in front of her and do everything she

  606. could with it. Now, I know this takes the power

  607. of the Holy Spirit, because some of us, when we

  608. get sad, all we want to do is sleep. Can

  609. I get an amen? Sometimes when we get disappointed. All

  610. we want to do is go into our little cave

  611. and quit. And God saying, hey, that's not the strategy

  612. that you need to do. If you're deciding to get

  613. redemption in your relationships, if you want redeemed relationships, what

  614. could you be doing right now to stay productive? The

  615. productivity made her meet her person. Some of y'all ain't

  616. gonna meet your person because you don't do nothing productive.

  617. Oh God, one clop. Everybody's single. So I'm just telling you,

  618. I'm it's a little. It's a little. It's a little

  619. right because y'all tight. What I'm saying is some of

  620. you are never you're not. God's literally preparing the meetups,

  621. the connections, the actual, the actual being able to see

  622. each other in places that you can't be without productivity.

  623. Check back with me in ten years. Where you being

  624. at the house. While you be at the house, cause

  625. that's the where I feel safe, that's my cocoon, that's

  626. my that's my wound swear. God is making me I

  627. feel that? And where did the purpose take you? Some

  628. of y'all won't come to church. It's just too many people.

  629. But you want to be with somebody, just write it

  630. down as a point a second time single strategy is

  631. productivity not pity. Proverbs thirty one seven. This is scripture

  632. that wrecked me for a lot of years of my life,

  633. and I want you to take it down because this

  634. is for men and women. She does not eat the

  635. bread of idleness. A woman that and a man that

  636. is product productive, they don't eat the bread of idleness.

  637. You ever been to Texas row House? Now? Now, I

  638. don't even know what their main thing is that they serve.

  639. What is it state? What? No, No, it's supposed to

  640. be state because there's like some horns or something. But

  641. what Texas Roadhouse is known for? What is it that

  642. them rolls? Now? I want you to go with me,

  643. just for one second on the idea of idleness being

  644. those rolls. They want you so full on what is

  645. easy to obtain that you have no appetite for real meat,

  646. real nourishment. Idleness makes you think that somehow this is

  647. the better life. Man. I ain't doing nothing, bro, Like

  648. I'm getting this social Security check. I'm getting this. Didn't

  649. my family help? No, I'm in your business. I don't

  650. do nothing. You live at this limit that doesn't trust

  651. God in a just as long as this investment comes on,

  652. I got six people, and it makes you idle, and

  653. your idleness becomes an idole. Being unbothered and comfortable is

  654. more important than my commitment to God. And it says

  655. idleness shouldn't be the bread we eating. He says, I

  656. need you to be productive because I called you here

  657. for a purpose. And if you find yourself second time single,

  658. this is where Ruth wins because she says, I'm devastated,

  659. but I'm still gonna do what God's called me to do.

  660. Her healing was in productivity, not pity. And then guess

  661. what she did. If you find yourself a second time single,

  662. I only got two more. Keep your character. I don't

  663. know what happens when some people get single again. They

  664. just wile out. It's like, well, I guess, I guess

  665. we're gonna try every flavor. Come on, read between the lines.

  666. I guess I'm not gonna have any standards, or I'm

  667. gonna make so many standards that nobody will ever be

  668. able to hurt me again. Come on, you eat on

  669. one side of the And the thing about Ruth, and

  670. she kept her character. Write this down. Integrity invites interest. Oh,

  671. that was good, and y'all didn't even catch it. When

  672. you live in integrity, people are interested in you. Dang.

  673. They always do what they say, They always look like that,

  674. they always have that attitude. This is what attracted Boas

  675. could have had anybody in that society. It's the theologians

  676. say it's a miracle that he's even single. But Ruth

  677. chapter two, verse eleven says, yes, I know. Boas replied,

  678. he's talking to Ruth. But I also know about everything

  679. you have done for your mother in law since the

  680. death of your husband. I have heard how you have

  681. left your father and mother and your own land to

  682. live here among complete strangers. What he was saying is

  683. your reputation precedes you. If your reputation precedes you, does

  684. it speak well of you? If you find yourself in

  685. a second time, single situation, what is your reputation teep

  686. your character. This is not a season to wild out

  687. and forget the principles of God. It's a season to

  688. dig deeper in to find out your self worth, to

  689. know what God has called you to to stand on

  690. business even when nobody's looking. That's what integrity he is,

  691. and she demonstrates integrity loyal humility, kindness, respect because character.

  692. Watch this authenticates compatibility. How do you know if you're

  693. equally yoked with somebody, It shouldn't be by how fine

  694. they are. It has to be by character. And a

  695. lot of people are disappointed fifteen years into the relationship

  696. because stuff starts falling, gravity starts taking effect, people start

  697. changing and aging because you married them for what they

  698. looked like on the outside and not what they look

  699. like on the inside. Character is the thing that authenticates compatibility.

  700. I'm with you because we match on a level that is.

  701. This is how we're gonna act. This is how we

  702. tell the truth. This is how we prioritize God. This

  703. is how we laugh at stuff. We don't laugh at

  704. stuff like that because that's evil. Chapter three, verse one,

  705. This is where we end. One day, Naomi said to Ruth,

  706. my daughter, it's time that we find you a permanent home.

  707. You got to get up out of here. Just want

  708. to say, y'all ain't read in there, okay, so that

  709. you will be for real provide for because you got

  710. to stop beating at my table. Bo Ass is a

  711. close relative of ours, and he's been very kind by

  712. letting you gather grain with his young women. Tonight he

  713. will be winnowing barely gathering grain with his young women.

  714. Tonight he will be winnowing barley at the threshing floor.

  715. Now do as I tell you. Now, this is very

  716. spiritual and very practical. Listen up, take a bath, put

  717. on some perfume and address, Put on your nicest clothes,

  718. brush your teeth. Then go to the threshing floor. But

  719. don't let boys see you until he is finished eating

  720. and drinking. Be sure to notice where he lies down.

  721. Then go and uncover his feet and just lie down

  722. there with him. He'll tell you what to do. Woman

  723. of God, Hey, woman of God. But look at Ruth's response.

  724. I'll do everything you say. Amen and amen. No, I'm

  725. afraid here. This is the point that this was wise. Counsel.

  726. Huh.

  727. I think there's a message there for all of us.

  728. There is. I want to say it in a point,

  729. change your wardrobe while you're waiting. The reason why she

  730. was telling Ruth to change her clothes is because customarily,

  731. when you become a widow, you stay in your widow

  732. to close. You want something greater than this, change your clothes.

  733. You want to come out of this. Stop telling everybody

  734. you are that just by the way you present yourself.

  735. You don't want to be a thug no more. Brother,

  736. Buy some pants that fit, Come on listeners, be you

  737. don't you don't want to be thought as a thought.

  738. Put on something else. Put on something else, like change

  739. the wardrobe to where you believe, by faith you're going.

  740. And I believe this is a physical sign, but it

  741. also was a spiritual sign. You don't want to talk

  742. certain ways, stop listening to a certain stuff.

  743. You don't want to see certain things out on your life,

  744. stop watching those things and.

  745. Let that be the visual image you have. Put the

  746. wardrobe bone for where you're going. Somebody needs to hear

  747. me say that by faith, Put the wardrobe bone for

  748. where you believe it.

  749. Take a bath.

  750. If I tell you that, If I send you l

  751. MO rubber dub dub and I'm saying you going somewhere,

  752. take a bath. Watch this. She had to prepare by

  753. faith for what she was believing for. That's Mike, Why

  754. are you saying this because there are a lot of

  755. people in here who are paralyzed, stuck, confused, frustrated. Because

  756. you found yourself in a season where it's like dang.

  757. I don't want to be hurt like that. Again. I

  758. wasn't expecting for this to happen. But what do I do.

  759. I was in a real good relationship with that person

  760. and we almost got to being married. If something got

  761. broke off for I thought they would have won. Or

  762. you don't have to have been married before. I'm just saying,

  763. if you find yourself out of relationship with someone and

  764. now you're in this disconnected season again, maybe it's not

  765. a punishment. Maybe it's a season for you to connect

  766. to God deeper and prepare some of you need to

  767. trade in the frustration of the last season for the

  768. faith of the future. God has more for you. Somebody

  769. say forward, say it like you got faith. Somebody say forward,

  770. and ladies, while you're waiting on your bowl. Ass I

  771. heard the old preacher say it like this, don't settle

  772. for any of his relatives. Y'all know what I'm talking about.

  773. Broke ass Poe ass you you know what I'm saying.

  774. Don't settle for them, ye chief ass Uh, don't settle.

  775. Make sure he respects your ass. Ass a Z respect

  776. a Z.

  777. Yeah.

  778. I just had to bring it up. I had to

  779. bring it up because some of y'all, you wouldn't pick

  780. him for your enemy, you wouldn't pick him for your children,

  781. you wouldn't pick him for your daughter, but you entertain it.

  782. Bitterness will make you settle. I'm done. This is your

  783. life right here, And what happens in our lives is

  784. sometimes things happen. Are you valuable, priceless, made, crafted, designed, beautiful? Life? Hurt? Pain, frustration,

  785. broken homes, abuse, molestation? What happens when life hits very

  786. fragile people? What happens when they get broken just that quick?

  787. And what happens when they're still a remnant that you

  788. try to show people the most complete side of you,

  789. so maybe they won't see, maybe they won't see the

  790. hole in my soul. Maybe I present this on Instagram

  791. and Facebook, and maybe I show everybody that no, no, no, no,

  792. we're pretty much good until something else happened, and now

  793. we're left with fragments. And this is where we say,

  794. what can God do with somebody like me? I only

  795. come to church to gather the pieces. I only pray

  796. to try to just get them so they don't hurt

  797. nobody else. But I don't know if anything good can

  798. be done with all my pieces. I'm a mess. I'm hurting.

  799. But I found out about this ancient Japanese art. It's

  800. the art that takes broken pieces, King Suji, I believe

  801. is what it's called. And it would take a vase

  802. like this, and what they would do is they would

  803. take all of the broken pieces and put it back

  804. together with gold or platinum. Could you put a picture

  805. up of this vase that has now been put into

  806. a master's hand. I want you to look at what

  807. restoration could potentially look. This is now sold for over

  808. ten times the value of what the broken usually discarded.

  809. By faith, I believe this is the season you're coming into, Relationally,

  810. that Joel two twenty five will be real over your life.

  811. I will restore everything that the locust has tried to steal.

  812. By faith, I need somebody to believe it. You're coming

  813. into a season of more value. You're coming into a

  814. season that the last season will not define. I'm gonna

  815. turn the page and keep reading. I'm going to see everything.

  816. I want you to notice that this same vase is

  817. now put behind glass, It's protected and put on display.

  818. I pray that this next season for you, relationally, God

  819. puts you in a place where he increases your value.

  820. He protects you, and he puts you on display for

  821. his glory, standing all over this place. Take a picture,

  822. because this is you. Relational restoration. Why because God will

  823. write a love story after divorce, after disaster, after disappointment,

  824. after a deadbeat, after domestic abuse, after deception, after a detour,

  825. after distance. God is the one who still writes love

  826. stories after loss. Everybody, listen to what I'm saying. After loss,

  827. he still writes love stories. Somebody's gonna hope again. Somebody's

  828. gonna believe again. Some of y'all who've been keeping her.

  829. You You've been keeping her your girlfriend for twenty years.

  830. Man of God, the time has come, Tysa, Mike, why

  831. is this important? Everybody? You gonna miss the best part

  832. of the message. Stay right here for one minute. Do

  833. you know.

  834. Who?

  835. Ruth gets remembered as she has a son. Because God

  836. restores everything, not just to Ruth, but to Naomi too.

  837. Through Ruth, everything they thought they lost, protection, provision, legacy,

  838. they get it all back. Ruth and Boaz get together.

  839. They have a son. Her son's name is Obed. Obed

  840. has a son named Jesse. Jesse has a son named David,

  841. King David, and David is in the line of Jesus.

  842. If if Ruth doesn't take this posture of faith in

  843. being second time single, it affects Our Savior. Who could

  844. you be delaying their destiny based on your willingness or

  845. unwillingness to go into this next season by faith? They

  846. called Boas the Kingsman redeemer, and back in this day,

  847. if you study the actual culture, if somebody was widowed

  848. or lost their husband, you would find the most financially

  849. reputable person in your family line, and they were to

  850. marry so that they could at least be provided for.

  851. What ended up happening is Naomi was relatives of Boaz.

  852. But by Ruth following Naomi, they get in connection and

  853. he becomes their kingsmen redeemer. What they couldn't provide for themselves,

  854. He provided what they had made debt and they couldn't pay.

  855. She provided. This is a type and shadow of our Jesus,

  856. our Lord, and our Savior, who then comes as a

  857. type of Boaz to say, what you can't provide for yourself,

  858. I'll provide for you what sin made a debt and

  859. you could not pay. I'll pay for it. Today, you

  860. might be in this room and you're saying I need

  861. a Kingsman redeemer. That song I believe my redeemer lives today.

  862. You need to experience the Restorer and the Redeemer. If

  863. that's you, Under the sign of my voice, I feel

  864. something very powerful happened. I'm gonna pray for two groups

  865. of people. I'm gonna pray for somebody number one that

  866. wants to receive Jesus as your redeemer. It's the greatest

  867. decision I've ever made. I don't care where you've been,

  868. how much money you've made, what you're planning on doing

  869. after this. The greatest decision you can make right now

  870. is to give your life to Jesus Christ. It took

  871. me from being a liar, a manipulator, addicted to pornamnography,

  872. somebody who was so dark in my heart. And it

  873. didn't make me perfect, but it made me progressing. And

  874. I'm on a path right now that I'll never get

  875. off of until I meet him face to face. But

  876. I'm telling you it has given me so much peace, understanding, revelation,

  877. and it's changed my family line because I surrendered to

  878. Jesus today you have an opportunity to be in right

  879. relationship in real life, and I want to pray for you.

  880. If that's you on account of three in this room

  881. watching online on the panda at wherever you're at right now,

  882. somebody sent you this today. I want you to give

  883. your life to Jesus, and I'm telling you it's the

  884. greatest decision you'll ever make. One you're making the greatest

  885. decision of your life. Church. I need you to pray

  886. because somebody's eternity is in the balance right now. Two

  887. is going to be written in the Lamb's Book of

  888. Life for all eternity, and you're going to get to

  889. spend forever with Jesus. Three, if you want to make

  890. Jesus Christ your personal Lord and savior, why don't you

  891. lift your hand right now? I see you, I see it,

  892. I see you. I see you, ma'am, I see you.

  893. Brother.

  894. Come on, I see and more than that, God sees you.

  895. Can we thank God. If you're watching online, come on,

  896. put it in the chat Glory of God. You know

  897. why this is so important because the Bible says all

  898. of heaven rejoices over one person one. And I saw

  899. several hands in here, and I know there's more online

  900. for the benefit of those coming to Jesus today. Because

  901. we're all a family. Nobody prays alone. Can we pray

  902. this prayer together? Say God, thank you for sending Jesus

  903. as my redeemer today. I believe he lived, he died,

  904. and he rose again with all power just for me.

  905. Here's my life, Change me, renew me, transforming. I'm yours.

  906. I repent from the old, and I move forward into

  907. the new. I'm yours forever in Jesus' names. Jesus, Amen,

  908. can we celebrate all over transformation to Oh, y'all can

  909. do better that? Can we celebrate Welcome to the family.

  918. to leave, but there's some other people that need surgery today.

  919. And if you're online, I want you to receive this moment.

  920. The worship team is gonna sing. People are gonna exit

  921. if you need to get your kids. And then there's

  923. for a second because we don't want to repeat another week,

  924. another month, another year, walking with this same level of brokenness.

  925. We want God to put us back together again. I

  926. hear that song that says, Lord, make.

  927. Me he Lord, may me, Lord.
