to stand in front of you today and to begin to

deliver a message. We had an incredible time

last night at Fire on the Altar, and I am going

to shift messages. This weekend, the Lord dropped

multiple things into my heart, and when that

happens, there's always a, Lord, what do you

want to do? What time, what season, how far?

But sometimes when God just begins to speak in

Revelation, it's hard. to get out of that pocket.

And I'm going to do my best to give some things

that I believe are on his heart to strengthen

us today. I want to talk today about a blessed

man or a blessed father. Now, of course, we do

not want to negate the women and sons and daughters

that will that are all part of the covenant here,

but meetings on Father's Day, I'd like you men,

especially to clue into this. Ladies, you're

going to be able to receive some things from

it. But I want to start this, this kind of this

path that we're going to walk down with a little

bit more kind of somberness as we set the stage

of what's before us. If we take a moment before

we get into this message and we just look around

a little bit at our world and our society, and

if we look at it in the lens of the scriptures,

we see two things happening. One, we sang about

it today in the song. We know how the story ends.

Our eyes are upon the son, the one who's risen

and the one who's coming back. But if we also

look in the natural and look at what's coming

down the line, we are also told in the same book

of God's revelation to us that the times are

not just going to get better. Actually, times

are going to get worse. And so every time we

hear a message like this, it's not a marker.

It's a marker of two things. It should mark,

number one, remind us where our focus should

be always. And two, a reminder of how important

it is in this moment and forward that I recognize

before God and understand that I have a responsibility

to him. It doesn't get less responsibility. It

actually increases in responsibility as we move

forward in time. It's a big deal. As you look

around in the news and see there is a lot of

devastation and destruction going on in the physical

realm. And that seems to be all that the news

and all that people can talk about. But I'm here

to tell you that it's not about the physical

realm that where the action is. It's the spiritual

realm that actually is predicating the physical

realm. And when you look closer. And you look

at the attacks that are taking place in the natural

realm, they're connected at every level to the

spiritual realm. When we think about disobedience,

when we think about anarchy, when we think about

pride, when we think about covetousness or rebellion,

they don't have their source in just natural

wicked sin nature. They do, but they also have

a plug -in into a spiritual nature. And these

are rooted in spiritual forces. They seek to

combine fleshly carnal mind and heart so that

they can operate from a spiritual realm in a

greater natural presence. And together with people

that actually embrace these type of things, the

rebellion, the pride, and some of it we get by

nature, but when we actually give ourselves to

these things, there is a primary focus of its

target. Its target is for the elimination and

destruction of the natural order of God's design,

not only for the natural family, but of the spiritual

family called his church. The attack has been

concentrated, speaks right at the foundations

of God's original charter for the authority and

the role of mother and father in marriage, the

role of the church in its governmental and missional

role extending the kingdom of God. Every assignment

of natural and spiritual are set to remove the

places of authority that they are to operate

from. Each of these two realms, each of these

two planes, natural and spiritual, are connected

to the core of our society, our health, our welfare,

are connected in natural and spiritual things

of the family of God. And if we're watching,

if we've been alert, we can see not only the

overt attacks, but the subtle ones as well. That

they're trying to remove God's truth and his

loving mandates. in every form of blessed relationship

that he has meant to be created to be good. Over

the last 11 years, it was in June 26, just a

few days from now, 11 years ago, in 2015, the

U .S. Supreme Court made a ruling that same -sex

marriage was legal. Not just a union, not just

a civil union, but now marriage. A covenantal

institution ordained by God now tried to be written

over by the laws of the land. From that point

forward, we have watched the embracing of not

just a protection of alternate lifestyles, but

we've watched an enshrining of a whole month

of celebration of alternate lifestyles during

Pride Month. We've watched the LBTG. T -B -I

-Q -I -A -L -M -N -O -P. We've watched the movement

multiply to the inclusion of transgenderism and

to other form of obscene identities. We've watched

this aggressive form of transgenderism now trying

to take over even forums of women's sporting

events. And what was the once leading on edge

cultural aggressive form of feminism is now being

eaten from the inside through this spirit of

transgenderism. We're now watching this trend

of popular agenda of perversion take over in

other forms called gender fluidity. It's kind

of a hydrostatic level of sexuality. We've watched

this clear type of destruction in its aggressive

pursuit, move and work to bring depravity and

removal of any form of God -ordained boundaries

of righteousness, morality, and love. Not because

it's natural only, but it's natural infused by

spiritual. Even now, The current culture is embracing

just articles, even this last couple of weeks

that I get from various sources, embracing a

new level of polyamory and throuples and new

definition of marriage that is now multiple people

in marriage covenants. The people's quest for

security, housing, love. And the meeting of their

financial needs and obligations, they're pursuing

in new levels of depravity. And in doing so,

they find themselves more and more in poverty,

body, soul, and spirit. One man, one woman, in

a loving covenant, having been given charge by

the Lord to love, to lead, to model life in God

through the family naturally. Spiritually, it

was one man given to now what God would make

the one body in Christ. The model is designed

by God. It's the Lord who created and gave us

both of these structures of love and training

to develop unity and discipline and service and

faith. And all this is done in God's heart and

mind to share with us his nature, his character,

His fellowship and his love in the midst of that

fellowship were called to partnership, to fulfill

his desire to have what? Godly offspring that

will embrace and love God and love his will.

And this is the setting for mankind to not only

exist, but to thrive. But the enemy's plan through

mocking and the mockery of God always starts

with the undermining of God's selection. Let

me just say that again. Every form of mocking

and every form of mockery of God and the things

of God, the purposes of God, always starts with

God's selection of who he chooses and why he

does what he does first. If you look through

all of the scriptures, every major argument that

mankind had, that partnered with things that

were not of Holy Spirit, but of another spirit,

always focused in on the one representing his

authority. Every argument focused on the leader,

on the father, on the assignment that was given

to that person. To what? To acquiesce and give

it to someone else. It's been revealed in scripture

over and over. This is the way of the enemy.

Attack the place of delegated authority. And

this is the mark of all rebellion. The enemy

starts by dismantling and trying to deconstruct

all of God's ways, God's wills, God's holy purpose.

By robbing God of his glory because authority,

Jesus said, you would not have authority unless

all authority was given to you by my Father.

The whole form of authority is to bring God honor

and glory. That's what real authority is about.

Now, of course, man has perverted that, but the

truth of why God gives it is to what? Honor the

one who actually is honor and authority. The

apostle Paul reminds us that I'm getting close

to, we've almost painted the picture. Are you

feeling kind of almost hopeless? But there's

hope. I'm trying to get you low so that my preaching,

even just if it's a little good, will bring you

higher. Hallelujah. Second Timothy one, or excuse

me, second Timothy chapter three, verse one through

five kind of lays out what Paul says, or not

really Paul, the Holy Spirit had said. Just so

you know, this is going to be the atmosphere

in the last days. Here's what he says. But understand

this, that in the last days there will come times

of difficulty. Now that is a, I'm quoting from

the ESV, and that's a good translation. I really

like that translation. It seems to be most accurate

most of the time in the Greek. It includes the

Dead Sea Scrolls as part of its manuscript understanding.

But it really... Times of difficulty, the New

King James actually says it better. It says,

in the last days there will be perilous times.

Difficult times just sounds like, man, I kind

of got a D in a class I should have got a B in.

No, the scripture is saying here, in the last

days there will be perilous times. Perilous means

unprecedentedly difficult. Turn to somebody and

say, he's talking unprecedented. He says, here's

the atmosphere. People will be lovers of self,

lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient

to parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable,

slanderous, without self -control, brutal, not

loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with

conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers

of God, having an appearance of godliness, but

denying its true power. We got that to look forward

to. So the Bible says it's happening in the last

days. Can I tell you, biblically speaking, we're

actually there. The Bible says we are in the

last days, and this is the atmosphere that's

all around us. So if we're right in the middle

of it right now, if there's ever been a time

that God's truth, his boundaries, his ordained

ways, and his calling was needed, it's now. We

must remember that God loves all people. God

loves women, children, men, but he starts with

men and fathers. God gave man a place. Man is

to be a blessed man. A blessed father is to be

a what? A family man. A blessed man is to be

a father, a godly man, a righteous steward, a

spiritual man, an upright man, a man of love,

a man of integrity, a man of compassion, and

a man of grace. That is your calling and there

is no shaving of those things. We can easily

see that the places that God has now called us

to be and the identity of man are areas that

have truly been under assault in every direction.

And here's the truth. The men of the church need

to wake up. And the men of the nation need the

church men To be the ones that deliver their

wake up call. God has given us an incredible

responsibility. In stewarding what is called

this leadership high calling. And if we could

put this on the screen. The calling. of a blessed

man or a blessed father is an invitation to partake

of the divine plan of God for the purpose of

God's salvation of people, his redemption, and

kingdom extension. That encompasses your high

calling. We have to remind ourselves, why would

God do this? Well, first of all, In order for

us to really grasp this understanding of what

is the high calling of men, the extension of

his kingdom, that means everything that's good

and peaceful and holy and righteous, you're called

to. moving it from a place of darkness into a

place of light. What does it mean? The redemption.

It means that you would be involved in seeing

brokenness turned over and finding its place

in full restoration. That which has got broken,

destroyed, worn out, and disassembled, restoration

is part of your calling. And of course, salvation

to every nation. every kindred, every tribe,

and every family member first. Why do I say this?

How can I say it so confidently? Because the

Bible says in Romans 11, 29, for the gifts and

callings of God are irrevocable. Let me say that

again. The gifts and callings of God are irrevocable.

We place this In a mindset, when we think about

gifts, we think about, oh, wonderful piano playing

or guitar playing or maybe a spiritual gift of

healing or word of knowledge or even you're a

steward, a good giver, an administrator, mercy,

compassion. Yes, that's part of callings. But

it's a derivative, if I could say it that way,

of... a more simple, holistic calling. The gifts,

if I have any, that come out of me, I would call

them gift graces that come out of primary calling.

Primary calling is that which I'm called to,

that every man in this building, father or not,

is called to a high calling of the things we

just mentioned. Of what? Partaking and being

invited to the process of winning people to Christ

and watching the love of God change them. The

process of being involved at some level of restoration.

In a variety of ways. And three, extending the

kingdom of God by his mercy, by his love and

by his grace and his compassion. And of course,

walking in the mandate. That is my calling. And

from that calling, that's your calling. And from

that calling come the other spiritual grace gifts

that flow out of that because it's being empowered

by the central theme of the high calling of God.

Now. They're irrevocable. Not just gifts. He

talks about the gifts and calling. Notice, the

gifts are irrevocable, but the calling is irrevocable.

Meaning that the moment you've given your life

to God, the moment as a man, as a father, you've

given your life to God, God deposited something

in you that he will never take away from you.

It means that it's come to you by the authority

of the eternal father that has bound himself

to say, I will never remove the calling of my

inclusion of you in bringing my salvation, in

bringing restoration and extending the kingdom

through the nature of who I am. I call you to

that. And as long as you live, that calling will

remain upon your life. Whether you felt like

you have been a failure, you've missed it as

a father or a husband or a son, the reality is

no devil in hell can take that calling because

it's been given to you. Why? Because the father

wants you to understand that your calling is

connected not to your performance, but to his.

And his nature as a good father is always trying

to put on you the mantle of who he is to get

it in you, on you, around you, no matter what

you've done to begin to work those things through

you. That's the nature of his tenacity. That's

why it's irrevocable. Your calling's not revocable.

You're connected to the eternal one. Your calling

was not given to you by society. Yes, thank God.

And that's why you can just go to those that

seek to cancel your thought. You can cancel my

thought all you want. You can't cancel the one

who's irrevocable. He's eternal. Society didn't

give it to you. Culture didn't give it to you.

The government didn't give it to you. And the

jury of your peers didn't give it to you. Your

call is established in God, fixed and immovable.

The Holy Spirit, if that wasn't enough, as Paul

was writing to the Romans, he turned his attention

to the Corinthian church and he brought this

truth back out about calling. He said, I need

you to consider your calling, brothers. 1 Corinthians

1 .26, right in the beginning of the letter,

before he would ever begin to adjust mindsets,

before he would ever begin to get into any doctrinal

issues of how to build the church, one of the

very first things that he would lay out for all

of the church to see is, You need to consider

the weight, the authority, the irrevocable nature

of what God calls your holy calling. It must

be considered. It must be weighed. You see, Jesus

uses that word considered quite a bit. When he

says, when you go to war, Don't be like someone

that doesn't consider anything. You must weigh

and consider. Can I go the distance with 10 ,000

men when 20 ,000 are against me? Meaning what?

The consideration of what it's going to cost

me and what I'm going to have to do to win this

fight. is the same principle that Paul was trying

to write by the Holy Spirit to stir men and godly

men to be blessed men up to consider this incredible

thing. In order to carry it, in order to carry

it with how God designed us to carry it, we're

going to have to consider it and weigh it against

other options in life. If we're not mindful,

If we're not aware of what our great calling

is as a man or a father, we will lose the fullness

of what is meant to be yours and what was meant

to be your part in helping with God's salvation.

Not that you can't save, we can't save anybody.

God does it. But we get the opportunity to have

the blessing. Blessed are the feet of those that

bring the good news. He's not just talking about

the feet. He's talking about the whole person.

And a blessed man understands the incredible

wealth and weight of carrying the message of

his father. What's meant to be yours? What's

meant to be in your family and your heritage?

Paul, again, you notice that. The Holy Spirit

through the Apostle Paul keeps picking this up.

He talked about it to the Romans. He talked about

it to the Corinthians. Now he's talking about

it to the Ephesians and he writes it this way.

I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the

calling to which you've been called. It means

it must move past consideration. That there are

deliberate actions and attitudes that must be

embraced and translate into real living in this

world. The calling, and this is where men, we

have to change. The calling is not ethereal.

It's not in the realm of somehow lived out in

this theoretic sense. The calling is meant to

be lived. in and out through your life on a natural

plane. It's spiritual that lives natural, just

like all the things that the enemy does bring

spiritual and tries to live out through natural

means. God has a calling that starts from him

and is meant to live out naturally, spiritually

through you. And if that wasn't enough, he moves

to the Thessalonica, the church in Thessalonica

and to the Thessalonica. He says, and to this

end, we pray that our God would make you worthy

of his calling and that you may fulfill, listen

to the words, every resolve for good and every

work of faith by his power so that the name of

our Lord may be glorified in him according to

the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

You see, our calling is never sustained. By self

-sufficiency. Our calling is never sustained

just surely by self -will and grit. The world

comes up with icons like the Marlboro Man. Or

Dos Equis. The most incredible, exciting man.

That's not the nature of your calling to be on

a cigarette or a beer commercial. Yeah, some

of the wives are looking at their husbands right

now. Are you hearing this? The reality is the

most incredible calling is to be a man that has

actually spent time in the Father's presence.

Starts to sound like our heavenly father. Live

like our heavenly father. Love like our heavenly

father. Forgive like our heavenly father. Is

generous with his wife, his children, and others

like our heavenly father. And begins to think

beyond himself like our heavenly father. That's

our calling. See, it's God who makes us. It's

God. our father who expands us. It's God, our

father who should be leading us, strengthening

us and transforming us. Our father should be

working through us. And it is those kind of truths

that how that works, that this is what happens.

Our nation needs blessed men and fathers that

look like our heavenly father more than ever

before. Our community needs godly men. Our wives

need godly men. Our children need godly men.

Our church needs godly men. Our places of employment

need godly men. Our community and every facet

of leadership needs godly men. And my God, society

and the world needs godly men. And I am convinced

today, with all that is in me, the family unit

and the church is going to survive the 21st century,

then God is about to do something inside of men

that will cause a blessing and will cause a father

anointing that will begin to draw people, sons,

daughters, world back to something that he's

doing. Without getting too deep in it, that was

the charge of the Old Testament right to the

new. In that day, I will cause the spirit of

Elijah to cause... The fathers to turn to the

children and the children to the fathers. What

we haven't understood is there was the beginning

of that drawing. John picked up that anointing

and prepared the way for Jesus. What the church

hasn't realized is Jesus has started it and men

are supposed to be joining on to it to begin

to bring the hymn and the loop around for the

drawing to happen. Jesus Christ in a godly man

can begin to serve his wife and serve his children

and that circle starts to happen where children

are drawn to the heart of the father and the

father's heart because the father's heart's been

drawn to them. It won't take long between it

starts to happen over and over and over. And

here's what we are wanting to see as witnesses.

The world will witness what we see when this

begins to take place by godly men who are blessed

men, who are blessed fathers, and that is families

will begin to see other families stay together

during crumbling times and they'll recognize

something is different. They will witness a family

thriving in the midst of tests. trials, unexpected

accidents, even deaths and injury. And that will

be an anomaly and a sign to them. They will witness

families moving and making forward progress,

even when economic opposition and all other things

are pressed against them. And it will cause them

to ponder and say, what do they have as a family

that is different than what I've experienced?

Think about this. If I was just to describe,

there's probably one man in the scripture that

I love studying his life, and he's a type and

shadow of Jesus Christ. He lived in the Old Testament,

but there's so many things that David was. I'm

a King David guy. I love King David worship.

I love a lot of the stories. I don't like the

errors that he made. But I can identify with

a lot of them. Just not the one, Jenny, wherever

you're at. I don't identify with that. Stay away

from the Bathsheba. Just take a shower. Hallelujah.

All right. All right. All right. There's a little

voice that says, where are you going to go now?

All right. All right. What do we know about David?

Well, David was a lawyer. David was a man's man.

But David was a family man. He had responsibilities

of wife and children. In fact, this was probably

one of the areas in David's life where it produced

his greatest failures. Like most men, David allowed

other things to distract him from priority and

attention that should have been given to his

family, primarily his sons. David, on the good

side, was a businessman. He was increasing in

responsibility. He was a builder, not only a

builder of of vision, but a builder of teams

of people. If you study his life, one of the

things that he was known for was he was a man

of restoration. And if I think about what David

did, David was involved in singing and worshiping

and understanding the salvation of God, God's

mercy and grace. He was involved in restoration

and he was involved in extending territory of

the kingdom. And so if I could pick a man, when

I looked in the scriptures that understood these

three avenues yet had areas in his life where

there was real weakness, David was one of them.

David was an administrator. David was visionary.

David was a spiritual man. David was a leader

in worship and prayer. David was a skilled musician.

David set the pace of atmosphere, of understanding

how important presence of God was to the health

of not only his own family unit, but to the nation.

David related to every person on his team. He

could be with Baraselli, who was the million

heir of his time, and he could relate to every

person that followed him in the cave that was

distressed and in debt. David experienced everything

that we experience as men. And amid all of his

imperfections, most of us can find something

in David that we can relate to. But the truth

is, all of us can recognize we see David's flaws.

And yet, in David's failures and in David's flaws,

God was able to use him for the advancement of

all three things. The salvation, honoring of

the salvation of God, the restoration process

of what God wants for every person, and the extending

of the kingdom. David carried that mantle as

a man, not as a king, but as a man, because those

things came to David, not in his kingship, but

in his heart before the Lord. And his failures

never revoked. The calling. I'm speaking to some

men this morning. You've heard some lying voices

that said your failures have revoked your calling.

Whether it's been financial issues, immoral issues,

integrity issues, addiction issues. Maybe it's

been the fact that you've got like cane, itchy

feet. You can't stay at anything. You're not

diligent or haven't been. Whatever the shortcoming

is, God cuts through all of the blanket of shame

and fear and today speaks to you and says, my

calling to you and me is irrevocable. I didn't

take it off of you. Who took it off of you? It's

the question you have to ask. Who told you? Same

question that was in the garden. Who told you

that? God's asking that question today among

every man. Who told you that your calling was

irrevocable? Or that your calling was revocable?

My word and my voice and what I stepped on the

inside of you the moment you came to me was.

Your gifts and callings are irrevocable. We can

walk with God. God does not ask for perfection.

He's not looking for a perfect man. He is looking

for a man who will look to a perfect father for

direction. You see, Psalms 12, one through nine,

we read it earlier. But listen to what the psalmist

says. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord and

greatly delights in his commandments. A father

is blessed because he fears the Lord. The fear

of God. Not scared of God. Hiding from God. That's

not what fear means. It means there is a holy

reverence and an awe and a respect. I'm gonna

try not to get myself, man, we got a flood going

on, hallelujah. Preaching the water right out

of the tank, hallelujah. You have to understand,

think about culture. You got all sorts of gangs.

I mean, even in our baptism today, we got old

gang bangers that aren't banging or ganging for

the world anymore. You got kids hanging on the

corner, you know, with their signs. Kind of look

like they're having epileptic seizures. I mean,

you know, I mean. You got people wearing, sorry,

we're just getting, it's probably more me now

talking than, but the reality is you have all

of this stuff that everybody wants respect. You

deal with prison culture. Anybody that's ever

worked in prisons, everybody that's ever done

prison ministry, it's all about the respect,

man. You respect me and I respect you. Let me

tell you something. It's not that kind of negative

respect that God is looking for. It's an honor

respect that's saying, you see all things, know

all things, nothing's hidden from you and there's

nothing to be improved on with you. I recognize

that you are above it all. That's what it means

when it says the fear of the Lord. And because

you're above it all and you don't lord it over

me or use it over me like, Are you kidding me?

I've modeled this for you, David. Come on, man.

Get this right. You'll never hear the Holy Spirit

talk that way. Now, you might hear Pastor Derek

talk. No, I'm just kidding. Okay, the reality

is you'll never hear the Holy Spirit talk that

way because he'll never put it on you that way.

It may have been said that Many men do not have

a healthy fear of God and they don't delight

in his commands, but men with this kind of thinking,

we come up far less and way short of what your

calling is. Proverbs 1, 7 says this, the fear

of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but

fools despise wisdom and instruction. When a

man fears God, and knows God's commands, not

from just reciting them, but allows those truths

of who he is, of his perfectness and his holiness

and his love to get in our heart, that's what

begins to make man blessed. Psalms 1 and 2 leads

it this way. And you go ahead and just play a

little something for me. Blessed is the man who

does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or

stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat

of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of

the Lord. He meditates on it day and night. You

see, that gives us an understanding what blessing

is trying to be transferred to men. As I'm ending

here, I want to focus on the middle of that Psalm,

Psalm 112, just that last part, verses probably

six and seven. Notice what it says, six, seven,

a little bit of eight. It says this, for the

righteous will never be moved. He will be remembered

forever. He's not afraid of bad news, but his

heart is firm in trusting the Lord. He's steady

and not Not afraid of what's coming in the world.

He's not afraid of God and pride keeping him

from embracing who God is. A blessed man has

learned that there is nothing in pride that honors

him. It's the greatest lie of the enemy. Pride

is the greatest lie. Somehow thinking it exalts

you. When all it does, the scripture says, God

puts down the proud, but he lifts up the humble.

What's the humble man? The humble man, it doesn't

mean he's just constantly bumbling around. Well,

I'm just humble. I can't do anything. I can't

even believe that God loves me. That's not humble.

I wanted to say a few things, but I'm stopping.

A humble man means he doesn't need to talk about

himself. He doesn't need to list his qualifications.

He doesn't need to bring a resume to every conversation.

He recognizes that his counsel, his wisdom, his

strength, the very thing that actually makes

him comes from a father who's constantly pouring

into him and he doesn't need to justify himself.

He's already justified by the love and purpose

of God. That's what makes him a blessed man.

You know what happens? When we get that, what

happens? Justifying stops happening in a marriage.

Arguments over who's right stop happening. There's

no more competition. Among sons and fathers because

I'm not trying to relive my mistakes and what

I wish I did in junior high and high school through

the next generation. I'm not living with a competitive

spirit. I'm actually living my life to see those

that are connected to me flourish. Flourishing

in my house. And flourishing in my friendships.

And then finding people. That are connected to

the one I love. My father. And his son. And those

who say yes to him. I begin pouring in. And seeing

them flourish. That's a blessed man. A blessed

man. And a blessed father. creates an atmosphere

for a blessed family. A blessed family has a

blessed legacy. Blessed legacies mean that there

have been witnesses to those families and to

those blessings and people want to be connected

to something that's thriving and is life -giving.

Nobody sits on a ship that actually is set for

destruction. You get on a ship manifest, Where's

it going? Down to park next to the Titanic. Nobody's

getting on that ship unless they're truly a moron.

The spirit of moron, it's a Greek word. You're

looking at the manifest of people's lives. You're

going, why does that life look different? It's

not because God has favorites. It's because Someone

has tapped into what it means to receive a blessing

and to know the blessing. I want to go to that

last, last song. Can we do the last song? Awesome.

Had a bunch of audibles. I'm not sure where I

was going today. So we just gave a bunch of things.

I want to pray for men. Fact is. Would you just

bow your head and close your eyes for a moment?

I'm speaking to all men and all fathers. Of course,

sons, daughters, women are included in this,

but men, I'm focusing on you today. Who told

you your calling was revoked? It wasn't our father.

Our father has a blessing for you. Our father

has a blessing for you. You will never hear our

father say, I've already given the blessing to

someone else. I don't have anything for you.

That's not who he is. He is the source. He is

the author of all things. There is more of him

than you could ever put your mind, hands, heart

around. And I'm talking to you this morning,

men, fathers, those that are later in life and

those just starting out in life. If you have

been lied to and you've tried to prove yourself

by a resume of how you're trying to work yourself.

prove yourself, live by your own strength, trying

to argue, scratch, try to justify. Time is now

to actually say, I'm done with that old lifestyle,

and I'm coming to the Father that will erase

my past and start brand new with me right now.

That doesn't mean that... Maybe there's people

in here this morning that need to start with

just salvation. But for many of you, you already

know your calling and that you love Jesus, but

you have not walked in a blessing. It's time

that God would begin to shift the mindset, shift.

those lies and allow you to come to the one who

is a blessing and you begin to live under that

grace of his love and with humility and watch

how God will begin to change the things around

you. If that's you, I would love for you just

right now. I know I'm doing a big ask on Father's

Day. I'd like you just to get up from your seat

right now. And just say, that's me. I've been

living with a revoked calling. I've been modeling

something that's not right. And I'm coming today

for an exchange. Just come right now. Come right

down and meet me right here. I am exchanging

this. I'm coming to my Holy Father. And I'm going

to receive a blessing. Wherever my kids are at

in their journey, wherever my grandkids are at

in the journey, wherever I am personally as a

young man, I'm done trying to substantiate myself.

Awesome. By my own justifications, by my own

measurements, and I'm coming back to the Father

above and saying, I'm coming back to the one

who gives blessings. Come on. I'm coming back

to the one who said his calling and his love

and his blessings were irrevocable. And I'm exchanging

now my way for his way. I want the legacy of

my father upon my mind, upon my heart, and upon

the fruit of my life. I will not be identified

by my yesterdays. But I start my new identity

today in Jesus' name. If I can have some men,

you know, our elders, our staff, our prayer teams,

all that have been trained, come, let's put a

hand on these guys. Begin to pray. And for the

rest of us, I want us to begin to sing this song

as Stephanie and Sonny begin to just lead us

in this song called The Blessing. Would you stand

with me this morning? And this is what we believe.

God is the author of every blessing. He's the

author of every turnaround. He's the author of

every success. Oh, Jesus, we come to that place

of exchange now. We lay down the habits. We lay

them down in Jesus' name. Every cycle, Lord,

that's been destructive, we come for an exchange.
