in my pantry, in my frigerator, more than enough food.

There was a roof over my head. There was Windows to open.

There was a yard to look at. There was safety in my home.

My children have bread to eat, my children, had toothpaste,

they had running Water. We had a shower.

We got a tub Lord. I Thank you for the simple

stuff. Yeah, the simple stuff.

I'm not going to come tonight asking you for more.

I'm going to say thank you for everything.

You brought us here even if we had a little bit of gas.

Thank you for a little bit of gas.

Thank you for tires. Lord God, thank you, thank you

for a ride to church. Thank you for being in a city

with good public transportation. Thank you for friends that love

me. Thank you for the one text

message today. Thank you for the one, like, on

my post today. Lord God.

That I have a church home. I got a pastor, I got a wife.

I got friends, I got children, I got Elders.

Say new level understand this. Stay locked in, stay linked in

every week. This is why it's good to have a

church home because the Lord, he he keep he links it all

together. It's dangerous, listening to a

whole bunch of different words that don't connect.

As Sunday connects to this Sunday, and last Wednesday,

connects the Sunday and, and so forth.

And man, I told my wife the other day, I said, wow, I have,

I think one of the most life-changing paradigm-shifting

messages to share Sunday, and I got it while I was in the

dentist's chair. Now, I was listening to a word

for me on leadership, but something hit my ear and I was

in the dentist, they was all in my mouth, but I was on my phone.

I was like, I gotta write this down and I might give a little,

a little bit of a preview of it tonight, if If it's necessary,

but I would not miss Sunday. And I'm not just promoting

Sunday. I'm not just trying to get you

all hype. I just believe that you can lock

in and you can hear from God, consistently.

And it's nothing like it when you just start going on a

championship run. You can't go on the championship

run, if God ain't running with you.

And I'm determined to go. I'm determined to make the road

to the championship. Look easy.

I know. That sounds crazy right there.

Patience. Last two wins days.

We've talked about patients, a patients.

Come on. Don't be scared to say it.

Some of y'all scared to say patients some of y'all beefing

with patients. Say patients.

Look at your neighbor say be patience.

Chill out, come on tell your favorite be patient.

Chill out. Say he's up to something.

It's working out. Just just say that, like, say

that two more times, he's up to something.

It's working out, one more time. He's up to something.

It's working out. Here's the problem.

We want to know what he up to, then we'll be okay, right?

How many people want God to just give you a little bit of insight

on what he's doing, right? That would help you out a little

better. You think know if he told you

what he was up to your stress out more, trust me?

Trust me, if he shared the whole Vision in the whole plan with

you you would freak out and mess it up.

You would mess it up, Jesus couldn't tell the disciples who

was going to betray like what that would look like.

Right. He told Peter Peter was like

nah. So even if the Lord does tell

you his plan or what you going to do, guess what Under

Pressure. If you don't do the right thing,

you're going to buckle Under Pressure, man.

Peter probably did exactly what all of us would it did Jesus

please whatever you if that's what you think.

I'm I got your back all the way to the end.

How many people ever heard that? No, you don't got no love nobody

like you you ain't nobody ever told you they got your back.

Peter said I love you. I got you.

You said, bro, you going to betray be?

Not once not twice but Thrice. Peter is like, yeah, right,

we'll see day of pressure came Peter over there acting like he

don't know nothing about Jesus over there, plant drinking water

just and they asked him. He said, nope.

Denied him three times and Jesus told him.

So if Jesus told you in 10 days, you was going to somebody who's

going to walk up to you and give you a billion dollars, you'll

probably be outright or some of y'all would be like, Hallelujah,

I receive it. What the part that I really have

learned to? Embrace is it's working out.

No matter what he's up to is working out.

It's working out. Say it's working out.

Let's dive in here. God doesn't need everything and

everybody you need. Let me, yeah, God don't need

everything you need to be successful.

And God don't need everybody. You think you need to be

successful? To bring joy in your life.

God don't need to change your spouse.

Can I help somebody? God, don't need to change your

children for you to have peace. We don't need another prime

minister to have joy. God does not need what we need

to be successful. Okay, keep my phone.

I wrote a note. I'm getting ahead of myself a

wrote. A note, I wrote a note down and

it's it was a good one. You got it, you got it right?

These these these things down. Oh, won't there it is.

How much you ready? You ready?

How much? Of your lack of patience.

Or anxiousness, right? There's some people who don't

associate with anxiety because somehow that's a clinical.

But let's say anxiousness, how many people ever hear being

anxious? Okay, some of y'all on the way

here was anxious. All right, when the Lord hit the

speaking in this place you get anxious.

If I look towards your way, you start getting anxious.

And if I look too long, you really start getting anxious.

How much of your lack of patience or anxiousness is

rooted or stemming from fear of disappointment?

Not need. I need, I need you.

I need you. I need you.

I need y'all. If some of you Scholars, don't

want to write it down, just I want you to answer fear of

disappointment. Now, I, this is where the Lord

can help you or won't help you if you start denying.

How much of your grind, how much of your goals, how much of your

pleasing people? How much of your showing up, how

much of your showing out, how much of your impatience to make

it happen? Your impatience to not wait for

God to do it, but Imma make how much, if you just go deeper than

impatience, or anxiousness or anxiety, how much of it is

rooted or stemming from a fear, Of disappointment,

disappointing, family disappointing, friends,

disappointing. The status quo of culture,

disappointing, yourself, disappointment.

If I don't do this, Then this won't happen.

If I don't accomplish this by this age or that time or if I

don't move here. Now, if I don't get married by

this time, if I don't have kids, then all these things, how much

of it? What if the culture said the

opposite of what you're believing for?

Would you believe still? Right.

How much is stemming from the fear of disappointment?

We got to go deeper, how have you dealt with disappointment?

See, let me let me, you can't hear, you can't get healed where

you allow Pride to live. Yeah, you can't get healed where

you going to, let Pride run the show because some some of you in

here pride is please. That's not I'm gonna, I'm gonna,

I'm gonna go to this therapist. I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna

do that. And I'm gonna do this in

overtime. God, it it'll work but but

you're not here tonight to depend on any other thing.

But this moment God In This Moment, God In This Moment, say

God, In This Moment. Yeah, so how have you dealt with

disappointment? Just I'm not looking for an

answer. I just need you to think how

have you dealt with disappointment?

How have you been taught to deal with disappointment?

How did your parents deal with disappointment?

Let's go deeper. How did your parents respond

when you disappointed them? Because there's things that's in

you that you may not even write, you, you probably can point to

like the most recent trauma. Let's go all the way back to

when you was young, and you got that beaten because you spilled

the paint on the ground where you broke a glass. when was it,

you first discovered you disappointed somebody What did

that feel like what happened? Where you talk down to where you

called out of your name, where you you're going to be?

Just like, yo, Right. How do you deal with not passing

a class? How do you deal with out with

with with with, with getting rejected by a guy or a girl?

How do you handle when somebody don't call you back?

When you think they supposed to, or when they say it?

They was, how do you deal with broken promises?

I'm talking to you, I'm talking to you if you let the Holy Ghost

see, and he'll deal with your heart right now.

He'll help you right now. This ain't the time in your soul

to look the other way. No, he talking to you point to

yourself, say they this is for me right now.

Look at your neighbor, say, I wish he was talking about you

right now, but I'm going to have to take this this moment for

myself. Let's go in the surgery room for

a little bit. How have you been loved in and

through failure? Have you experienced when you

felt when you fail the people that mean the most to you do you

feel distant from them? Have you ignored failure?

How have you? Experience love through failure.

What does failure equate to you? What does that mean to you?

Your identity, how do you connect to failure?

Disappointment. There's a good hand of you.

When you were young, you were abandoned.

Disappointment. You watch your parents, be an

alcoholic or you watch your parents being abusive

relationship, you watch them on drugs, you any of those type of

things. You watch the parent be beat,

but couldn't do nothing about it.

Right. You waited for a parent.

They said I'll be there to pick you up.

They never showed up. Come on.

Connect to it. Connect to it didn't say

identify with it. I just said connect to it.

Because we're talking about a world built on Pride.

Rooted in fear. So people that Power Trip people

of greed, you got to understand the people that run the world

and create the systems its burst out of So then when we are

trying to keep up with the world standards, then you're trying to

keep up with a standard that's rooted in fear.

Fear of rejection. And disappointment has birthed a

generation of anxiety. I'm gonna deal with some of this

on Sunday, most profound message.

That was preached to me by the spirit and I'm going to share

what I feel is very vital in these times.

Why is anxiety and depression through the roof?

And though it's good to deal with our trauma.

Let's deal with it. But what we're discovering it

just because we're dealing with, it doesn't mean that we

shouldn't ask why so many people.

And then what we got to be careful of is unlike the world.

The believer does not have to identify with it, but it's okay

to identify it in your life. But because of the power of the

Holy Ghost, the blood of Jesus and the word of God has

overcome, or he would not be fair for him to say, be anxious

for nothing. If he won't help us be anxious

for nothing, it would not be fair for him to say, cast all

your cares upon Him for he. What cares for you, it wouldn't

be fair for him. To say, my yoke is easy, my

burdens are light. If Would not help us through the

issue is, are you depending on him or are you depending on some

clinical? Professional that you trust more

because they got a plaque on the wall.

So it's easier to trust them because they got the big house.

They make six fidgets digits a year.

They got a portion. The drive driveway, they got the

doctor it behind they name. And you don't know how you can

trust God. The same way, you could trust

your psychologist your psychiatrist, your therapists.

It's easier to trust him because they got a book.

But man, whose book is bigger. Who got more evidence.

One is practicing. The other one never fails.

Ain't it funny? How do you can call it a

practice but we don't believe they practice it.

They're practicing. So sometimes it works.

Sometimes it don't, that's why it's good that we can take a

diagnosis to the throne room. We could take a diagnosis to the

elders. We could take a diagnosis to the

altar but so many times we believe the clinical diagnosis

more than we believe the Heavenly diagnosis.

It's easier for you. For me to say I am clinically

depressed then for you to say by his stripes, I am healed. so,

the fear of rejection we looking at a page, we're looking at

another pandemic epidemic, pandemic gimmick, gimmick, It's

all over the place young people. Pastors committing suicide,

worship leaders committing suicide.

And we haven't trouble Believe In Our Savior will.

If he can't save you then, what is he your savior from?

Is he your savior? Or is he just your God?

That's why the old people used to.

The old Saints, used to used to used to sing savior Don't y'all

waiting for me to sing? It ain't on the same right now.

Hear My Cry. Yes, sir.

Do. Not pass me but I will say met

y'all better stop playing with me.

Y'all better stop playing with me now.

Now now you talking about folks that came out of slavery.

This is why hims got a special stank on it.

Because you're talking about people who had way I can't.

I'm not going to compare trauma. But somehow their passion for

God was stronger than ours. They running from real slave

masters, picking cotton, they watching uncles and cousins

getting hung. We can't find a spouse.

We lose a job. It's a shortage on avocados.

Their dependency on the Lord. Was crazy and is what I found

out. Elder John is I don't have to go

through what they went through to have the same passion as they

had. Why do I need to be somewhere in

a third world country with no food, no water to really be

desperate for God. It just mean whose much given

much is required. Therefore, I have to do a little

bit more intentional reminding. Keeping myself around people

full of Faith. Staying in the word listening, I

got to work a little harder to make sure my furnace stay lit.

Therefore, if I'm gonna beat one thing that they did have or

didn't have is they had less options than we have.

Let me get into that on Sunday, I feel the Lord is calling his

church. To purge one of the greatest

purchase ever, because we've gotten hooked on a lot of stuff.

God is asking for us to lay down.

If you want to see Revival within yourself, the Lord is

coming for your social media. He's coming for some

relationships. Yeah, he's coming for some

stuff. Because he said, If my people

who are called by my name will humble themselves.

Humble, don't mean lay down? Put your face on the ground, but

it's the things we depend on. The Lord is saying. because if

we don't remove distractions, What we don't understand is

options birth anxiousness. Netflix, we're going to talk

about it Sunday. How long, how long you looking

for something to watch? Right.

Hop on the airplane, they only give you a few selections and

you pick something that might look good.

How long you staying the aisle? Picking a new deodorant?

How many? How many colognes you try?

How many more times you gonna smell the coffee beans?

Right options. The day, if you was bald head,

use ball head. Now, you can get a weave.

Now, you put on a weave, you got options on hairstyles, let me

add those that, get that don't do much hair.

Tell me when you get a weave, how much more stressed out, are

you Right? We live in the time of options,

if I don't like this guy, I'm gonna go.

But we have faithful grandparents back then.

Like, if I don't like this girl, I'ma got options.

I'm gonna marry multiple people. I'm gonna do this choose

options. Yeah.

Like options. Absolutely.

But options don't have me. Right?

Where's faithfulness in relationships?

Know the grass ain't Greener? No, I don't got tons of churches

to go to where you calling me. God, not gonna get offended.

Oh, it's another church. My friend go to maybe.

That's where your friend needs to go, but offense is not

permission to run. Right?

But we got options. We've made getting out of

marriage and option. We we've made running to another

country. An option we've made so many

things options. This is why the meal plan gave

me more peace than any other diet.

No, I'm damned. I'm trying to help you.

I'm trying to help you because the meal plan said, I don't care

what you want. You're going to have this.

That's it. So Not only was my body

experiencing physical health, but I was receiving mental

health because I wouldn't like me going.

Burgers tonight. Have you ever maybe?

Married people have you ever almost argued over what y'all

about to eat tonight? Have you ever been?

I don't feel like making a decision tonight and then they

like come on, don't do that and then they pick and you like nah

I don't want that. Right.

We got too many options. We got a and w.

We got Dairy Queen. We got we got Triple O's, we got

all kinds of places and you drive it around and then you go

in and you pull in and you won't what kind of Special Sauce

Secret Sauce man back in the day it was no secrets off.

Catch up. Why you go to some countries?

You see obesity, you see, you see, you see us eating our

stress away? We won't we won't deal with the

stress. And one thing I think that has

this generation gripped, his options, are we going to talk

about it, Sunday? I wonder why Jesus told Giddy

and get rid of those tens of the you would think more people we

gonna win. I'm going to talk about that

Sunday because we think the more money we spend the more

opportune, the more we may have success, or if ice prepare for a

message for 48 hours, then I'm gonna kill the message.

No, I'm not overcook it. So I gotta find my sweet spot

where I know how much I need to study them to spend the other

time preparing the messenger, not the message.

Right. So what we think is more is

better, but more is actually killing us.

We're about to head into a season where the Lord is about

to tell you to eliminate the options.

It's going to challenge you big-time.

But eliminate the options alone will bring more peace to your

life. You can work on your marriage if

you if you got rid of the option of divorce.

Right? So, I being being being being

engaged for too long. It's dangerous because you got

two options. And you start applying that

pressure. And then homeboy freaked out

because you eliminate them options.

To Abraham get out of your house.

Go away. Can't depend on your parents

wealth. No, more depend on me.

Who else you can go on and on and on and on?

Why did he choose? People that didn't get the

degrees, like the others because he wanted them to repent.

We have too many options. Too many options in.

This is why accountability scares this generation because

you want to keep your options of Independence open.

And so you have a misunderstanding of

accountability. It's why we don't want to commit

to a church on, this is why we don't want to go to foundations,

because we want to make sure we I don't want.

Nobody telling me now won't options.

I don't know, too many trainers that give you options, they give

you a game planning, you stick with it.

Anxiety. Is the fruit.

Rejection is the route. And this is why.

Our love walk with people. Is shaking.

Anxiety is a fruit. Impatience is a fruit and you

will never get rid of impatience or anxiety.

If you don't look at what the root is, what are you afraid of?

Why? You got to have this now?

what are you afraid of missing out on What is what if, what is

not having that thing make you feel?

What what what what does that bring up for you?

What is not being able to go out like them?

Right, you see? Social media, we got IG.

How much stress comes from IG? Let's not lick.

Now, I'm not being deep. I'm not being religious.

I meant. I'm on IG, it's stressful.

You scroll through you either being you either compare it.

You're either being judgmental and critical.

Tell me what about IG is fruitful and then weigh it

against how much of it steals your time, steals your focus,

and steal your energy. That's just one of them.

Let's go to another option. Tick-Tock.

Let's go to another one, Facebook.

We go on and on all these options and I feel, I feel

convicted, don't you dare say you won't more God.

But you're not willing to get rid of your milk, some of your

options when I got married, guess what?

I just would guess what? That symbolized.

No, more options. One, do you know how much health

that brought to my life? Spiritually physically,

emotionally. You ever been out there?

You answered. No I don't answer my phone right

now and call me why you called me why you pop up over here

while you do the dating game is trash.

Having multiple this in multiple death is trash.

Don't you dare say you won't more God.

It's like saying I want more money.

But you know the quickest way to more money.

Is cutting some things that you spend money on.

You don't need more money, you just need to cut, right?

Maybe you can't afford the unlimited data, Maybe you can't

afford the 30 gig data. So, you cut the plan.

Speak Lord. Don't you dare say you want

richer relationships, man. I'm already talking about it,

but I'm like, I'm, I'm gonna be. I'm gonna be sharp on this

Sunday, but you but you options divided families.

Let me tell you this, we will go into a living room and we'll

watch a movie. If you wait long enough,

everybody check their phones. You hop in your marriage bed.

Nobody has a problem if the other one falls asleep soon.

These days. Because guess what?

You get to do. Hop on your phone.

So, you got the little one down there on the iPad.

You got the other kids and they rooms on a phones in two

different worlds. You got the TV on downstairs,

you got the parents watching Netflix.

Family ain't the same. Back in the day, it was richer

relationships because you have to talk.

You have to Stewart that 25-cent call.

Right. You actually really miss

somebody. We missing each other, but we

text all day long. Then we following them on

Instagram, we all up in adm's, we own a story.

We don't know how to have real conversations in, real conflict

resolution. We're distracted options have

divided families option have stolen Intimacy in marriage.

That's supposed to be for Sunday.

Amen. Patience has a greater success

rate than rushing. Yeah, he agrees patience has a

greater success rate than rushing.

Galatians 5 says that this fruit of patience that indoors.

It's produced by the Holy Spirit within you.

It's divine love in all its varied Expressions.

I need you to understand this, it's not the fruits of the

spirit. Let me help you.

It's not the fruits. I know Sunday school have taught

you. It's the fruits of the spirit.

It's the fruit of the spirit and if you don't have love, you

ain't going to Patience. You ain't going to have loved

you. Not going to have peace and I'm

talking Agape. Unconditional love Love is

patient. First thing love is love is

kind. Right.

Love holds. No record of wrong.

You can't you can't be patient for a loved one to change.

When you're constantly reminding them of what they used to do.

So what we have to understand first and foremost, is that this

kind of patience is produced by the Holy Spirit.

It is produced. It's a supernatural patients.

That cannot come any other way. Then through relationship with

the Holy Spirit and humility. You got that?

It's a supernatural patients. So don't say you want this

patients. If you not willing to to invest

in Covenant, It's one of the hardest things.

As a pastor, let me let me help you out.

I do not want to be in your business.

Let me help you out. I really don't.

That is crazy. Hug me like all Pastor.

You see everything. I don't want to.

I'm not sitting around here trying to be in your business

and as I was sharing with someone other day you can have a

pastor but not every piece. Not every church has a father.

If you find a church where God has called you to a place where

the father heart rests there understand, it's going to be a

lot of warfare there. Yes, it's going to be where you

are, where you find the Father's Heart.

You don't find. Someone ain't scared of you.

But it's the, it's the father that that moves in our hearts to

allow us to see things and not give up on people.

It's Supernatural, how people can let you down and you can

still love them without not want anything back.

That's all him. But the same kind of love has to

live in you. Because that's the same love.

God gave you on that cross? He waited for you but died in

advance. I was high for years drunk, for

years, messing around for years and his love the same, love that

he's shown on. The cross was waiting for me.

When I was ready to put the bottle down, when I was ready to

stop club and hanging with the fellas, I had to park.

Do you see what, what, what, what, what?

Getting married required? It required purging, it's no way

you can have a successful marriage and have tons of

options. Since even with the Bros.

This idea of marriage and still holding onto your Independence

is absolutely silly. The Lord says, my yoke is easy.

Meaning, he wants to yoke with us when he died and got up,

guess what? He said, he got up with us.

It's a marriage, is a covenant and even Jesus have to die.

Even Jesus had to fast, even Jesus had to not go home with

Mommy and Daddy to get into. Linda work even Jesus had to get

away him pray, even Jesus had to keep boundaries between his good

friends. Because he was focused on the

call. And it's just just being them in

my role in my position. I deal with a lot of anxious

people. Got to have it.

Now, I have rarely had meetings about How do I walk with the

Lord? Everything is based on Career

based on doing stuff. Is based on its you rarely

asked, see people coming trying to figure out and model

relationship with God? Why are we pursuing?

Hey Pastor I just want to have a have a have coffee with you.

I want to figure out how to get that piece.

No, that's not what we're pursuing. but the peace of God,

the Bible says is his will Thanksgiving.

The Bible says is his will. No.

Where do I find careers all it is.

His will the Bible? Quite frankly, says seek him.

What first and all these things that were getting counseling

about will be added? So if I'm going to seek him,

first, I need to come to you and figure out.

How if you've mastered piece, or you got better piece than I do.

That's what I need to be. Figuring out how to get that

peace. Can you disciple me in peace?

But if you're anxious person, you run from Joy. instead of

going to Joy and saying, can you disciple me enjoy No man.

A true disciple maker cares for your piece And your joy more

than anything else. And we're here for it all.

But what I'm pointing to Is that?

Do you know you're the greatest asset?

Not your goals, not your career. You forget what God really cares

about you. How often do you pray for

breakthrough versus peace? When last time you just sit at

the father's feet. Do you know how do you know what

that means? Are you pursuing his principles?

He said Delight in me and I'll give you the desires of your

heart. So if the the the the true

recipe to to patients Is being anchored in him.

I will lose my mind after a while if my hope is not in him.

My sister, the supernatural peace of God.

It comes. From your hope being in him.

Why am I talking about peace? Because that's gonna be the next

fruit because there is no Supernatural patients without

peace. Because this patience isn't

saying anxiously waiting. I'm going to wait, but I'm going

to complain. I'm going to wait, but I'm gonna

keep looking out the window when it's coming.

I'm awake but I'm gonna keep on calling I'm awake but I'm gonna

keep on asking. Know, when you plan a vacation,

how many times did you call the hotel?

You reserved to see if they still got it?

You guys, sure, show me a picture of the room.

Show me nobody in the room. Patience is not meant to

paralyze us, but to propel us. Patience is not meant to

inactivity. It means boring.

It means I'm not going to experience anything fun in life.

Maybe God is just saying just keep having the fun you been

having right, right. You I know how pregnant I am and

how pregnant this church is and is what God has promised for

Love quest. But do you think I can show up

and lead you through today? Only worried about the end

result of what he promised. So what I have to learn how to

do is, I have to have joy for today.

I don't care if God promised 10,000 people, he's looking at.

How is my character? How is my joy?

When it's 10 people that was up, it was talking to Emerson in my,

New West I remember them coming to bible.

Study is like 10 people. It may be three of them was

serving. Elder John, you remember, then

Wednesday them Tuesday nights. You remember when it was 40

people? Remember we get excited or for

Easter or to New Year's Eve, lot of people, then you come back to

reality at the next Sunday, you got 20 people, then you you

lose, he's the flux, his but I don't care if it's been five

people, ten people, you go check the records, preach the same.

I prepare the same, I don't prepare less for less people

than I do for more people. See, it's the secret stuff.

That's why you wonder how somebody get on that platform

and you like, you don't know what they've done.

You've just been excited about 10,000.

They got excited about the one. Jesus said I go after the one,

Right here. This is the thing.

You don't know that I praise in my secret place the same way I

praise in public. I danced the same way at home.

When ain't nobody looking? I laugh.

I'll yell I'll cry in the car. You don't matter.

It's not just in front of you. Everybody can put on the Shelf.

Everybody can be strong on a Sunday.

Everybody can love a spouse on a Sunday.

you the power of endurance. Wait a minute.

Did he just point that endurance is in me?

Overcomer is in me more than a conqueror is in me, but that

won't be stirred up without something that is going to press

it. Out of me.

So what are you going through that?

God is just trying to point to you, what he put in you.

He didn't say you overcome, he said, you are an overcomer.

So if you're a living epistle, you are the definition of

overcome but you got to have something to what overcome If

you're more than a conqueror, you don't just barely make it.

You don't just strive. he said when you, when your faith is

tested, It stirs up in you the power.

From what the Holy Ghost was producing.

It's okay, so if I'm making a car.

There is a day that I got to bring it out to get test-driven.

It just so happened or if you know the people testimonies.

Those are dummies. And oftentimes we think we gotta

go through it. But your mama went through it.

Pastor went through it. Listen to people's testimony as

You don't gotta crash like us. Everybody through want to get

some War scars. You want to get shot so you can

be a rapper. Why is rapping about peace and

love boring? That's wild to me.

That uplifting music ain't going Platinum.

It's gotta be some drama. It's gotta be degrading.

And our kids eating it up. So, we can't afford not to be

living Epistles. When you're living a pistol, you

don't got us. You don't got to speak the word.

Because you're you are the word when you are the good news.

You don't have to go be preaching.

A lot of preaching, people, a lot of, a lot of people do the

parking lot. Think it's beat, man.

You walk that thing out. I don't need to give a joy

scripture. I should be the joy scripture.

I don't need to point to fill Philippians, x, y and Zed and,

and you can find what peace is. No people need real living

examples. They don't understand Paul

chryst kill Christians and God used him for that.

They don't know that. They don't understand that we

trying to flex and exercise how much we know but the greater

demand Is on you being. He said, you are the light.

Of the world. You are the salt of the earth

Here's the thing. You can't be a translation.

So sometime people, you can send them to scripture but a new

person may land on the let the wrong translation or get more

confused. Why y'all got so many

translations? Oh, cuz we trying to get to your

head. Instead of instead of just this

translation. What is a translation?

You're communicating what heaven says.

That's why he says, when your faith is on trial.

And what we want is, we want God to do everything, he's proven

himself, you haven't. It's crazy man, we are

believers. We are the body of Christ in

man. All the Lord is saying is just

too. Be that living epistle so no you

can't compromise like the world because then you compromise the

translation. That's why some translations

aren't legit translations because the word is compromised.

All right. So you wonder why?

God keep hiding you. Cause you ain't ready to come

out yet? You still test dummy in.

The person that's going to give you the opportunity unprepared.

And and cause you to stumble cause you to get embarrassed.

God ain't asked you to be late like overcome everything be

perfect. He's not asking you that but he

is asking you to begin to transform your mind.

He is asking you to get routed to.

When you get into certain situations, you won't get

uprooted so easily. You're forever transforming. and

then, as your endurance grows, As your weight grows as your

endurance gross. Even stronger.

It will release perfection. In other words, maturity.

Okay, okay. What are we forfeiting by

rushing? you being there's no wholeness

I'm gonna go out and say this. There's no wholeness in a

moment. If you don't have patience, you

will never get home. Endurance grows even stronger.

It will release perfection. Into every part of your being

until there is nothing. Missing nothing lacking.

That is Shalom. That is salvation.

Salvation is not about you. Just going to heaven.

Salvation is on Earth as it is in heaven.

But what have you? Pawned your piece off, too?

you can't have peace until so, I'm a hurry up in Right.

You tell me. You tell me, hold on, don't say

a single in this generation. All heck.

what's being proven in what you're going through your faith.

Your faith is on trial. Do you really believe God?

Do you really trust that he's your Source?

Do you really trust that he's enough?

Do you really trust? If you don't do this extra thing

over here, he can still bring in the extra money over here.

You see what I'm saying? Troy, if we do more, we'll get

How you going to feed all them? People putting in Jesus hands?

Right? You can go on and you can go on

and you can go on where the Lord said.

I don't need all that, quite frankly, all of that is getting

in the way of me and you, it's great.

That's why he took less intelligent people because

sometime really smart people on paper are not really smart.

I guess, I am so grateful for my street sense in the way that

I've had my education. I'm grateful. because some

people you overthink it you you think yourself out the box, We

don't we don't talk about that too.

Like somehow hell is in the Box. More options.

More options, let endurance in steadfastness and patience have

full play. And do a thorough work so that

you may be people perfectly and fully developed went with no

defects. That's his will lacking in.

Nothing that's his will. So this is why you can have more

and still be incomplete. You can be wealthy.

And still kill yourself. You can be a pastor with a

thriving church and still have to check yourself in a hospital.

How is this happening that the same people?

That's preaching, this gospel. Are then killing themselves or

infidelity is happening, but they're over marriage Ministry.

What are we thriving for? What is the go?

What do I need that? Spouse for, please get married.

But answer why? Because they're not your savior.

Some of us got married early, right?

Some of us got married because of a season.

We was in. Now we looking at the thing, we

like, what the hell did I do? What happened?

You changed? You grew.

You got married based on what you needed.

You got in that friendship, man. I'm I watch it all the time.

I watch the familiar spirits, working the church all the time.

Because I get, I get to know. I get to know.

I get to know people a little bit more than some some do and

you cpuc familiar favorites. Gravitate people with same like

situations and issues, they find themselves It's familiar.

It's I found someone to complain to our found, a fresh fruit.

Whatever. It may be.

You have to press toward the mark.

You have to deny yourself of messy.

You have to deny yourself go on a drama diet.

Go on a complaining diet. The find someone that's going to

actually not get in the pit with you.

Patience. Is that work to assist you into?

Will you to victory, you ready? A part of leading us.

How many people want to be led by the Holy Ghost?

A part of leading us is also forbidding us.

We have to, we have to learn how to be as happy with the

closed-door, as we are with the open door.

And Paul and Silas passed through the territory of

phrygia. And galatia having been, what

forbidden by, who the Holy Spirit to what proclaim, the

Spirit stopped them from preaching the gospel. and this

is a trap right here, when we think everything, we because

we're doing something good, God permits it.

Is we see results from doing the good thing, but we forget he's

watching over his word. So it doesn't mean because you

did a good thing. He's pleased with you, it just

means he's faithful to his word. So a lot of times we're looking

to do the good thing and we think automatically God God has

blessed it because it's good. It's not sinful ain't gambling.

I'm not doing this. I was just sharing the gospel in

the parking lot but was it in order?

Was it an undertone of undermining?

Right? I just was having coffee over

here with this person, or I was just investing over here, it

could be good, everything is permissible. he told me that

long time ago just because everybody say good word Pastor

then I still go to the back and say Lord Did I deliver what you

told me to do because your emotions or your needs were met?

Doesn't mean I was obedient It just mean God is faithful to his

word, and too many times. We let a good idea and a god

idea. And then we find a scripture

where he did it before, he could do it.

Again, saying God, right now, saying God back then.

And then we find people who will agree with it.

And those are the people we get to agree first or will get

accountability. Then we'll find somebody who

agrees and we'll go with. And here we see these brothers

really are going to preach the gospel.

And the Holy Spirit said, no. and when they had come opposite

Missy uh, They tried to go into bithynia, but the Holy Spirit of

Jesus did not permit them again. They're just trying to share the

gospel. Alma go, right?

This on, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go ahead his writing session and

write this Jesus song. Because we talked about Jesus,

they obviously is the blessing, they let them go, right?

But Jesus, I'm gonna take this speaking engagement because I'm

preaching about Jesus. Right.

But, but but forget the accountability.

Hey hey, Pastor are. Hey Elder.

Hey, what do you think about this opportunity that was

presented to me? There's a bigger picture.

We don't want that. We want to stay independent, we

want to do our own thing and we don't understand that the Lord

has sent someone in your life. That's not afraid to say no.

That is partnering with him. You think they getting in the

way of you and God but actually he partnering with him.

And that's what you want is, somebody partnering with God, so

they can help you get to where God is calling you to go.

So passing by Miss year they went down to troas there.

A vision appeared to Paul in the night.

One place says they had laid down finally they rested from

there. They rested from their Pursuit,

they rested from their grind. They rested from their efforts

and it was when they entered rest.

They got vision. And it says a man from Macedonia

stood pleading with him and saying, come over to Macedonia

and help us. And what we find is, is they go

to Macedonia? That's where they run into the

damsel. Have to cast out a demon out of

that, damn, so that of divination.

So, you're going to experience wrote some Warfare on the road

to the real plan. And a lot of times, we think

where it's easy is where the blessing is, Yes, that's what

the children Israel. You brought us out here to die.

It's long. We should have went the other

way and it was almost about to go back.

To bondage. Because God had a longer route.

But a route that preserve them and grew them, but they started

getting them pockets of gossiping.

Miss kopke pockets of complaining.

And then he got mad when the man of God didn't move fast enough

because he was just trying to hear from the Lord to guide the

people. And then after they got thrown

in prison, we don't know. We we forgot how they we just

read late in the Midnight Hour where they didn't get in prison.

They got in prison on the way to the vision.

Maybe this didn't happen, maybe this wouldn't happen if they

went. Tell Missy and went to these

other places but obedience got them locked up.

And because they went, where God told them to go, when they pray,

you notice what they did in prison, they were innocent and

imprison. The Bible says they prayed.

And they what worshipped, They were all God.

You called us to, go over here and this how you treat us?

They didn't at least it wasn't documented that they

second-guessed if they heard from the Holy Ghost.

And then here's the vision. There was an earthquake.

And then the prison guard. Asked to get saved, and he asked

to get his family saved. Because they laid down and

rested, they got a vision that was connected to more than them.

They got a family saved. But on the route to fulfill that

vision. Persecution. if some delays, But

what kept Him going is God's vision.

All right. Or Woodland is for you.

Yep. Yep.

Yeah. Okay, everything we could ever

need for life. And godliness.

Has already been deposited in Us by his divine power.

This is sobering scripture to me.

I don't care whatever anybody in here is chasing after here's

here's this says it all for me. Everything.

What does everything mean? Everything we could ever need.

For life and godliness has already.

Been deposited in Us by his Divine.

So, Most of the stuff that got us stressed out.

No no no. But listen.

Listen listen, listen. Listen.

This ain't what's in US, ain't even our Focus.

What we need for Joy is stuff. We gotta chase.

He says everything we will ever need for life and godliness was

put in US. And it was just putting this,

but it was lavished upon us. More than enough Joy more than

enough piece. This, why he can say in every

situation, give thanks in every situation have peace because he

put it in us and he understands that he okayed the situation

because the situation was okayed by him to reveal what he put in

US. And the Lord is telling his

children, you got to redefine what success is.

Because we could live a lot longer.

If we lived off what he put in US.

But the stuff we're worried about is taking us out.

And he put us, he put you in this world.

To be an example. That I got more than I was born

with what I need to live. I was born with what I need to

enjoy life. And then all these things are

added. The stuff should be in addition

to Like I love me some good pound cake.

Or good cake. Donuts from leaves.

But it wouldn't hurt if you add chocolate glaze on it.

But listen, without the glaze it's already what good and you

got to get to a point and realize life itself in the Lord

is already good. For all this was lavished upon

us through the rich experience, here it is.

Key of knowing him. Here's the problem.

That same James scripture. says count, it all joy knowing this

and some of us can't make it under pressure because in

pressure We don't know this. We don't know that he's

faithful, we don't know that our pit is only a path, not a

destination. We don't know that that the

enemy has cycles that he runs through.

He has no Eternal plan for us with that plan has been

defeated, we're coming out of this.

We don't understand, we don't really know that weeping may

endure for a night but joy comes in the morning, we don't know.

That he traded my Sol's for joy. We don't like when we're under

pressure, we forget all that stuff.

So he says, thus the stuff that he's putting you, that's why

When you find him, you find life.

He's called his by his name and invited us to come to him

through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.

I challenge you. That you are the greatest prize

on this Earth and when you start, making you the most

important thing in life over all the stuff you're chasing.

You'll find Joy. Don't you dare shelf your joy?

Another day be trying to grind to make your career?

What? No, no, no, you can't not treat

you or to somebody died for you. Not your job.

And you are not a job. You are not janitor.

You are not pro ballplayer. You are not model.

You are not, you aren't Chef, you aren't cop you.

That's not you. Those are all vehicles in and

platforms, but we took too much emphasis on what we do versus

who we are. And if you don't know who you

are, you can't be patient. Anybody could steal your

happiness. Anybody can steal your joy.

One little thing happened in your life and you've lost it.

And I just want to pray tonight that you stopped selling your

joy for so cheap. You stop being so easily

offended, you just giving your piece away on the corner this

here. Let me tell you.

The devil don't got to work that hard.

To disappoint you. You woke up disappointed.

The devil didn't make, you disappointed your mindset, the

way you see life the way you see, failure the way you see

success the way, you compare yourself the way you the way you

just think about yourself the way, you see your problem, the

way you see your trauma, the way you see, how you grew up the way

you see your parents away, you see your church the way you see

your city? You know, I want to go here.

I'm tired of being here. I want to marry that I want.

Know what about you? What about you that?

That's what I'm trying to get you.

If I'm meeting with people, we could spend an hour talking

about getting rid of external stuff and never talking about

you. you've identified with pandemic, you've identified with

divorce, you've identified with, it's always raining, you've

identified with all these things I tell you guys all the time

like a black man. And there is Injustice going on

in the world. But how I see myself.

Helps me not buy in. What if every black person or

every person of color saw themselves as a victim?

There's some people in here that's been molested, there's

people in here, that's been raped, there's people in here

that is benefit that has been treated with Injustice, but God

needs you to overcome and not beat the victim so that you can

help victims. Right, and here's the tea, don't

feel guilty for overcoming. The worst thing that can happen

is there's more people to relate to that.

Got what I got? Because now I'm a part of a

club. And just because I don't see

myself as a victim just because I don't see all cops one way or

all Caucasian people want way. Don't mean I'm a sellout.

You don't mean. I'm less black.

You don't mean nothing to know. Somebody got a Martin Luther

King while don't write on his coattail.

If you ain't gonna see what he did.

He fought he got the change through love da, don't get it

twisted. Look at who was in the marches

it wasn't all black people, he had white people.

At the board table, he was clear that it was something above.

He was up, don't forget, he was a pastor.

He was aware, it wasn't the white man.

He was aware, it was a spirit behind the white man.

So if I understand the spirit realm that's causing these

things, I can have love for my enemy.

And if you can have love for your enemy, real change can

happen anywhere. So when you got people that's

put in your life, that sees the spirit behind what you're

dealing with, don't think they don't care.

No, no, no. And you don't just need a

Christian counselor. Can I help somebody?

I'm trying to help somebody I'm trying to help somebody just

because somebody counsels you with the scripture.

Don't mean their counseling, you by the spirit.

I need spirit-led wisdom. By the book is safe.

But Raymond gets results. The gift of wisdom, the gift of

knowledge. Gets results in.

I really believe that. The Lord is challenging us.

To purge ourselves. Of our crutches.

And he's really trying to get to you.

Your precious, you're special. You are sweet.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made and the stuff

that you are. Surrounded, anybody ever CET

know what those that have seen ET?

Remember, ET was hiding in the closet with all the stuff

animals, right? He was just surrounded and like,

some of you are so surrounded, can't nobody hug you?

Can't nobody love you. You so surrounded with with

walls and calluses and and not being insensitive but with

issues that you were keeping My issues can be present, but they

don't have to be an obstacle. And all I'm saying, is you, we,

we put our issues on a pedestal. Instead of putting them where

they belong, I'm not denying the facts, but I am exalting the

truth. And so, all I'm telling you that

your dreams, keep them but don't exalt them, your goals, keep

them, but don't exalt them. Don't abandon first things,

don't abandon your family. That's not God.

Don't abandon your church on donut.

Don't don't don't abandon because you've been abandoned.

Right work on your trust issues, you have boundaries not walls.

Stop keeping people out. Let the right people in I really

feel the Lord. Is after his church.

And what this next move is requiring of us.

This shift is our generation really needs us to lay our lives

down. I don't see any generation Ever

Changing. Without a movement of sacrifice.

So you can make your life all about you.

But I will tell you God is Not invested in.

Goals, that's about you. Because you can help you.

can get rich, what you can do all kind of stuff.

want my life to count. I think your life should count.

I think you're special, I think you're way more special than you

give yourself credit. I think your perspective of you

sucks. Whoever you are.

It sucks. The way you talk about yourself

in your head, the way you entertain, the enemy's lies all

the time. I will tell you.

This there are some of you in here, you should not be stuck

where you are as long as you have been.

You are stuck where you are. As long as you have been because

you've gotten comfortable there. And it's scarier to jump out of

it. It's easier to ask someone to

come over on the on the edge with you versus them.

No you come. And you need more friends in

your life, isn't? Nope.

I'm not coming over there again. You need some friends.

That came to the lame, man and said, nope, silver and gold.

I'm not giving you another dime. You've been begging for too

long, silver and gold, I have nothing.

But what I do have, I give it to you.

I got Jesus Christ, right? You need them friends.

That stop giving you silver and gold giving you bread.

You need to Jesus. You need the friend that's gonna

say pick up your mat. No, pick it up.

Right? You need that friend last one.

No, no got it. You need that friend.

That that if they carry you, they going to carry you through

the roof to see Jesus, but they're not going to sit on your

hospital bed on the side with balloons and flowers.

I want to help somebody listen. Listen.

Please bring balloons and flowers.

But bring Faith to write some making people comfortable in the

hospital. The goal is to get them out

right. The goal is to get them out.
