that I am a lost person in the only way that I will ever come

to know your God is through your expression of how good you think

he is. I'm thinking he's good.

Never gotten anybody saved. but it was people like David who

danced in public, it was people like Jesus, who hung on the

Christ's cross and was crucified where public And I know we got a

lot of private Believers here and if someone asked you you

would say yes, I'm a Christian but I think that's part of the

problem. You're a Christian instead of a

son and daughter instead of a free indeed person.

And we've learned how to act because pagans have taught us

how to act pagans name those Christians not Jesus.

Oh, so we are proud to be Christians but struggle to be

Sons. Sons and Daughters true Sons and

Daughters when they see their father, I don't know about you,

but at least when my kids was real little They were so excited

to see me. For some of you, your dog has

that same energy. When you walk through the door,

I'm not saying every time you have to be hitting flips, but

every time you should have an expression Let me, let me help

you how you celebrate Jesus on your own.

It's totally different. How you celebrate together.

I'm a more radical fan to an extent when I'm at the game of

my favorite team with other fans because we feed off of each

other's what energy when I'm at home.

So there's more power available when we're together.

I don't know about you, maybe your life is super great and

awesome, but maybe you need to release faith in a praise for

somebody else. So maybe your life is great,

perfect. You don't need God to move for

you, your finances, your city, your town, maybe you live in a

really beautiful Suburban, suburbian City, and you have

money in your pocket in your parents or stable and you guys

own property and you guys you your dental plan is great.

You got white teeth or you don't care about your teeth, whatever

you just your life is good. So the only thing you need from

Jesus is for him to return. But I'm letting, you know, there

is a world that you were sent into, he reconciled you.

So you can reconcile others and you are a sign, not the

destination. So no one should see you and be

puzzled by what you believe it should be very clear.

That you have a savior, not a god.

I don't know about you, but if somebody snatched me out of a

fire, I would be expressing gratitude.

Let me ask you the way you express your gratitude for God.

If you were just pulled out a fire, how would that fire fire

to fill? or if you were pulled out of a

car accident, even if you got out the accident with one leg,

you didn't lose your life, right?

He's your savior, your savior. It's different than your God, or

your Christian ruler. He's your savior And this is

still wasn't affected by it. In ways, you don't even notice

pandemic. Forced you into some habits that

aren't okay, for this season, you got to come out of pandemic

mode. and as a leader, I had to be awakened a few weeks ago and

the Lord says, In some ways you're still leading.

Like, you are leading through a crisis.

And one thing the pandemic taught us, how to do is Pivot

all the time. And now it is as a leader.

I realize it's a season where we have to lead out.

And the most dangerous thing that we can do is try to go

back. I was just telling Pastor Dylan

the back. I was like, I'm not trying to

find my old rhythm. When I'm asking God is what is

my new Rhythm for life? I can't do Church the same.

I can't be on the same schedule. Maybe you woke up at 5 a.m.

before the pandemic and the pandemic allowed you to stay in

bed a little longer. And maybe you might to think

that I'm about to say you should get up at Ford.

Now know, maybe you should get up at seven, right, but what I'm

telling you is, God is moving whether you are or not.

And I don't know about you but I would never waste my time at

church or anywhere. And get word and get compelled

and get be around the anointing and be around freedom, and then

just stay the same. And we think God's just going to

come down. And change it all for us.

And too many of us want to put God in a box and we go to

churches and we go to programs, we go to things that are

comfortable to us. Make, you know, are we go to our

Bible schools and they recommend the church or where a part of

of, of networks that our friends, our uncle's, our

Grandpa are approved. Rarely do we just go out the box

to where God want us, rarely do? We pay attention to the donkey

talking. Look at your bookshelf.

How many Christian? How many books the Arthur's look

like you. That ain't good. because you

find people that see God only, how you do, Right.

It's easy to persecute when a preacher is talking about

getting ahead financially or or what or or or wealth and things,

but you didn't have to grow up in Lac.

But if you were sick, what you want to hear from God, you

healed. So somebody grew up in poverty,

guess what? They need to hear.

You ain't got to be broke all your life.

And just based on our cultural experiences of God, that's just

how we gonna go to Jesus, is it? No no, no, I love that.

God brought me to a place. I had no knowledge of glad.

I didn't know your culture. I'm glad it looked like the

America I'm from but it is really different.

He don't need your money. It's like in worship.

I only challenge the congregation to open their

mouths where he don't need you to say, he got angles.

That's there all the time. So you think worship is all

about him? No, it's about you and it's in

worship. You find you because you found

him. It's in worship that you

escaped. All your cares and all your

problems and all your mental challenges.

So when I open my mouth and give something bigger than my

problems Glory, then it puts my problems.

In perspective. You're not doing me a favor.

That you have that right? To lift your hands, pass your

What do I mean by this? I believe that God is calling us

his church to reprioritize our lives.

Our affections are divided. Our focus is divided, our

attention bless. You is divided.

But we have to understand, there is no change without Purge.

And I know we hate the pruning part because we think pruning

means lack but no actually pruning means fruitfulness.

Right, you got to go to sleep at some point.

That's a form of purging. You see you get away from

activity and you rest so you can have what more energy.

And I think we're in a season where God is going to be

challenging his church in different areas.

It's time to prune a named a couple this morning where I know

I have to prune and one of them is social media, another one is

dealing with how I see food. Right.

Oh, I know how to get trim and lose weight and all that, but

every time it can't be a fast or a diet.

Don't use fasting to lose weight believer.

Faster fast. Diet to diet.

But maybe God is calling you for a lifestyle of change with your

relationship to food that has nothing to do with a fast or

Diet. It just has to do with your

discipline in your focus. And so there has to be purging

and there has been a shift because for two years we were

shook. I don't know about you but that

was a shaking. And whatever happens when an

earthquake, it's two plates doing what shifting?

If you don't like shifting, you don't like growing embrace the

shake so you can shift and embrace the shift so you can

grow No company remains good without going through that

company and cleaning house. We've all heard of spring

cleaning. You don't get a watermelon and

just just bite all into it. What you do?

You trim it. Are you just don't bite into the

orange peel? What do you do?

You purge it. You don't just go snatch,

flowers out the garden and just stuff them in a vase.

What do you do your trim? Mm, purging happens every day.

We don't like this conversation. We must return to our first love

and know that he is more than enough.

This is what it's all about. It's not about less, it's about

him being more than enough. And if we were all honest, I

don't know how many for us, God is enough.

That he's enough. If I don't go on another

vacation his presence is enough. All need a pina colada I'll need

We're trying to work our way to a place where we got options and

got to have multiple houses. I need car options, I need women

and men options. I need man, I need TV in this

room. I need to keep it now.

None of this has to do with less. unless your identity and

your peace, Is wrapped up in these things.

The home. God is blessing me and my family

to live in. I couldn't have never.

Like I'm in this new place and I'm like it.

Not one bit of it changed me. I'm not walking the it's not

making me feel bigger badder, it's not making, it's just like,

wow, God's amazing. But I have to remind myself that

is bigger better and and it's a blessing but for some people you

get a certain thing at a certain place in your life and you will

begin to form your identity around it.

If some closed doors is not because God is trying to hate on

you or stop you, but he's trying to develop character and give

you time to develop an identity found in him or you will be

lost, and did you get caught up trying to please people and then

you get caught up trying to keep it the way you got it.

Man certain things you praying for right now, if you get it

it'll take you smooth away from church.

Some of y'all at church right now cuz you just need a

breakthrough. Daddy, why you go to church?

It's why you go to church. But in a while you go to church

Matthew 6 says, forsake your worries.

Like abandoned your worries. Like, leave them on the front,

Right, there was so much. It wasn't just about the

coronavirus that was a door for all kinds of stuff to come in.

We as a people took a hit for two years and so we think it's

over. We better pay attention to the

trauma. Our kids experienced our

co-workers experience. Our man, I can't wait to this

week's leadership because even as a leader I have to there's a

thank you side but there's also Also, decide of care that that

some of us don't realize some of the stuff we've been going

through as leaders in our personal life.

We made it through a pandemic victoriously, but sometimes we

forget it was his grace that kept us but our Humanity took a

hit, our bodies, took a hit, our minds took a hit, our souls took

a hit, but it was his grace that allowed.

Us to praise him and the focus on him.

Thank God. He gave us something greater or

bigger to focus on. But coming out of it, we can't

ignore that. We took a hit.

We took a hit man. Because you was a part of a

church who did not shut down and just stream.

But we were in the streets. We were it.

Had Jack poop Plaza. We was after art gallery.

We were in a building. We streamed.

We did concerts. We made two albums.

Nothing stopped for us. So while the world was stopping

and groaning and shifting, we were those Sons and Daughters

who all creation was looking to see Walking in power and walking

in my mates, maybe you had Joy, but all the counseling you had

to do all the people you had to encourage.

You take a moment and realize you took a hit and this is why

he's calling us to shift because anything that takes a shaking is

not what it used to be, or where it was.

You're not the same person. None of you are the same people

and if you strike, if you end up staying in the all too long, you

will end up worse but you came out of this new new things after

Things in certain people because you've changed.

And if you don't awaken to the change, then there will be

things that happen around you into you.

That will force you to change, but whatever you're going

the pandemic, that is a horrible place to be in. your new people

or new things have changed and there's a lot of confusion that

was because we were shook And he's looking for leaders that

foggy season, the fog will begin to lift and we will begin to

give Clarity and that's why I can't wait to our leadership

meeting to give Clarity to share new strategies because it we got

it. We I can't just lead through the

crisis. I got a lead out of it.

And you going to be what part of the people that stay in the

wilderness and die or you going to go across with Joshua.

It's not the same, the world. It's not the same school system

is not the same. It's not the same.

And it's changing in ways, we don't even know yet, there's

people that run the world that is plotting and planning things

that we ain't going to be ready for.

So, how do we get ready for him? We have to be rooted in God's

love of his kingdom. This world is gonna get crazier

churches different. There's all kinds of immigrants

coming in this world. There will not be Revival

without a church. There will be no Revival in your

church, if it's not ready for multi.

And I'm not talking about diversity, I'm not talking about

Multicultural culture, up multi-ethnic, ethnic Most of us

say, we're Multicultural know you're multi-ethnic because

Multicultural mean you you you you're Multicultural that's your

culture. That's Love quest.

Go we're Multicultural. We can sing The Gospel, we can

flip and turn it to a African song.

We can tweet there that we're multi, we can bring some some

some some soul food in here. Well, bring some Filipino

dishes. First time attendees can be done

in 2 garlic, it can be done in English English, it can be done

in Mandarin. We have leaders. from all over

the world and we open it up to say, hey, What are some of your

ideas and some people say we're multi.

Yeah, you got diversity in your ethnicities but how much does

the globe impact the way you do things?

And this is why I sometimes will go a little longer.

This is why we sing how we sing, because you ain't the only

nation that needs to be ministered to there's people in

this church that don't really understand my English.

But God, they understand the That's on me.

So when you got to take your time, when you lead All Nations,

diversity of language, barriers, there's so much in this place.

But who, who can have the patience in the discipline and

love to build a church that may look and sound like heaven.

discouraged or pastors wouldn't be discouraged when people

leave. Now, some things you could have

did better or they had a right to be offended, but a lot of

times, God, he's doing the purging and you're chasing

people to come back that God purged If you want a healthy

Church, you have to be willing to see people go, not just come

and that's why you can't be insecure.

Because God sees things that you don't see and not every time

someone leaves his because they did something wrong or you did

something wrong, but purging is necessary for health.

I learned a long time ago when we Church planted the fluxes one

day, is this many people then the next day?

You like where everybody at? Especially here.

If it rains, folks, freak out if the sun come out, folks, really

freaked out. You got churches who will not

have church or youth groups, a certain part of the season

because people go on vacation. Never, I don't care if we got to

go through a season where it's less people.

regulars aren't coming, What about the person that just roams

If Jesus had, go after the one, you should stay open for the

one. yeah, I know the youth group might be skimpy during the

summer, but, but, but that's sometimes when people need the

That's why we didn't start our foundation based on what people

thought. I know that sounds crazy but you

can't build. God's kingdom around people's

comforts. But God will let you because he

wants the gospel to get to people.

Okay, the key to fruitfulness in every season is to recognize and

yield to the season. He is calling us to cut back,

say Quebec. I am not saying he's calling us

to less because it's like, no, it's going to be a season of

inactivity. What I'm telling you it's

harvest time and so when it's harvest time, you need to focus

on what the Harvest. Because the Harvest is only for

window of time. So what he's telling you is I

need you to position yourself in less because much is coming.

Uprooting, the fear and worry of going without or missing out is

vital in order to sustain the focus necessary for the

abundance. He intends to Lavish on us.

One of my one of my, one of my nightmares is that I am

multi-talented. So, for years, I wrestle.

Do I keep doing music? That's gonna get him messed up.

And I could just, if something don't work out, I can go, man.

I will never ever, not have something to do.

Thinking Inside the Box. The Lord asked the woman.

this you value the crumbs? You valued a little bit.

Oh I can do a lot with that. See, the issue with the one

Talent? He had less responsibility and

still choked. All I asked you to do is so one.

So I'm going to take what you didn't.

mind other seemingly getting ahead of you, you like oh my God

if I stop right now, somebody going to take my spot So what

kind of God you serve that you'll spot can be took that he

died for? I don't care if you sit down for

a year of God's a sit-down for a year, guess what?

When you come back you going to bounce back a year later, like,

you've been grinding for five years.

You don't think God know how to make up time.

God. God God, there's no wasted time

in his timing. There's no wasted time in his

timing. Cutting back is less about lack

but it's more about discipline contentment and Trust.

We see Hebrews 4, he says they didn't enter, he said what you

should be grinding to do is to enter his rest.

If you're going to grind, grind to have sole rest.

Grind to enter into his place of security.

We wake up every morning, ready to Crime.

We looking for more jobs. Your seed is working.

Your seed is working. Even when I don't see it, you're

working. Y'all are saying that, uh, he's

working So now, I now I can spend time with my kids.

I can spend time with my wife, And just because I'm said,

spending time with my wife, don't mean my seed ain't

working, I'm A sower. When you are so you're sowing

into the kingdom of God. Which means if I so into the

ground, the ground has to give me something back.

So if I so into the kingdom the kingdom has to give me something

back. And the get the kingdom of God

has no no end to its resources. There is no season that the

heavens can't produce. That's why he'll tell him Ana

God. So in the famine and in the same

year, you'll get a thousand times more.

Worry less about them and find yourself wandering into him

That's why strategy can't be released because the beginning

the church because you got an appointment.

I Fear God too much to start a program because you feel

urgently we need one. As a church we don't fear.

God, no more man, we fear people, we fear the board.

Yeah we fear the boardroom we fear, we fear people Mark for

sowed seed and go to bed. Will you save?

You say go to bed. He goes to bed, not knowing how

it's going to produce or how it works.

But he goes to bed. And one day there's a, there's a

harvest that comes in these three steps what I'm telling

you, is your seed is working for you.

God is working for you. Heavens are moving on your

behalf. You need to learn how to he said

the kingdom round. It's like someone who spread

seed. And go to bed, not spread seed

and apply for two more jobs. Go to bed.

Stop feeling guilty. You ain't doing nothing today.

Doing nothing today is different than being lazy, stop feeling

bad because you have to cancel an appointment.

Cuz you need rest. Just learn how to stop giving

your yeses away. Yeah, I gotta learn that too,

Fear of not having or being enough should never motivate or

my food or I get my nourishment from doing the father's, will

you have to find joy in doing the father's will go to work,

but it should be a mission field.

Go to the grocery store, but it should be a mission.

Feel go to the car lot and buy your new car, but it should be a

find a home. In Jesus name, we call in

refugees from the north south east and the West.

We call in abundance. So that where the government

can't give away jobs we can hire people.
