What's going on? Love quest Nation.
-
Thank you for tuning into the Love quest podcast.
-
Get your Bibles ready? Get your notebook, get your
-
coffee, get some water, whatever you need to do and get ready to
-
receive the time. Is right now.
-
Let's go. There's a difference between
-
faith and faking. I think there's a lot of people
-
who haven't been able in their lives, to be like really
-
authentic about where they are their fears, especially their
-
fears, some of the things we wrestle with and how bad stuff
-
really is. Can I talk to somebody?
-
And I was just kind of observing Worship in the spirit and, you
-
know, begin to ask to myself. What is it?
-
How, what is it, when, how could I say this?
-
I think of a great athlete, right?
-
I can say if sake I'm gonna get them District Steph Curry
-
because We say he has 140 games or 130 games that's including a
-
championship. Because we Champs in the bay.
-
Amen. So you got 130 games with what?
-
I know of his greatness. How many times out of a hundred
-
and thirty games? Do you think I can depend on a
-
champion, the show up at the highest level?
-
Come on, talk to me, huh? Yeah, I put it this way, even if
-
he has a bad game I could still expect him to show up because
-
what's a bad game, right? Other night we had a game and
-
you know, it's tough because I'm playing whooping front of our
-
church and preaching about being a champ.
-
So I can't even I have the throw up trying to play Like A
-
Champion. As I can't be up here, preaching
-
about champ and then get out there and be scrubbed and no
-
effort. And so I play with like jti
-
Neal, we got Brandon, we got people who need the ball in
-
their hands. So for a guy like me when I
-
played in college and high school, I'm a guard like I'm a
-
shooting guard, like I can score.
-
But when I'm playing on this team, It's no need for me to do
-
that or shall I? Say, I have to bow out and let
-
the guards, do what they do. And I actually got to be the big
-
man on our team, right? And so me showing up, doesn't
-
mean me scoring, and that's what you got to realize that you
-
showing up every day, has nothing to do with you getting
-
the shine. The way you normally get the
-
shine. You showing up has nothing to do
-
with you scoring a lot. So the other night I was like,
-
okay, I see how this gonna go. It's a few times, I'm over in
-
the corner and they do the boom, boom, whatever they doing.
-
All these new moves back in the day it was just like, Mom.
-
I'll go nowadays. Everybody just done, huh?
-
Sounds like I can't do all this. But I'm trying to, but I'm
-
trying to get in shape and I want to, I know, I need to
-
impact the game from a big man's perspective.
-
So I'm like well I'm not the I'm about to I'm about to get my
-
points dirty. So y'all go ahead shoot.
-
I'm going to crash these offensive rebounds.
-
I won't take a charge. I'm going to be disruptive on
-
defense. I'm going to show up.
-
I can't I can but I'm that's not, that's not what's what you
-
needed to me. And rather I scored two points
-
or 30 points. You can depend on me to show up.
-
You following what I'm saying? And I think too often we want to
-
be seen or used or feel-good or acknowledged in order to show
-
up. We want it to be sunny to show
-
up, showing up, has nothing to do with shine.
-
And I'm trying to help some people because I feel like the
-
Lord is saying, man, I'm really trying to let me help you.
-
God is very, God is strapped with how much he can bless you,
-
if he cannot create momentum in your life.
-
And what you don't understand, God wants to bless you, but God
-
is a momentous God. And this is what the enemy comes
-
to do disrupt momentum. This, we got understand the
-
devil cannot stop. You.
-
He's defeated, he can't stop you.
-
So what he does is disrupt momentum and if you disrupt
-
momentum, you lose rhythm. Any athlete to tell you.
-
I don't care what sport it is. I don't care if his golf there's
-
a rhythm, there's a flow, there is a momentum that you get and
-
when that momentum come you are unstoppable and so I'm in the
-
room and I'm like Man, sometimes is it the worship team?
-
Can we deal? Can we talk sometime?
-
Is it y'all? That the worship team got a kind
-
of like it's like they giving it to you and some of y'all just
-
dead straight up. You did I would never come to
-
church through the rain and just watch But they not get it
-
sometime, they not really hitting it.
-
And so unlike, what is it? God With Us that we're not
-
dependable? Right, we're spiritually Moody.
-
And it's like right when God wants to do something in your
-
life, he got a hope. You feel like joining them.
-
And you forget you with yuto labor with God, in other words,
-
you on the team, we God, and there's nothing like playing
-
with a teammate. You can't count on showing up
-
Moody teammates, you gotta go to a way with how about your
-
showing up? If you do, if you impact the
-
game in the area's? That's not on the stat sheet.
-
Do you need to have your name in the highlights?
-
Do you need to be acknowledged? Do you need to be seen?
-
Or does it matter that your team know you impacted the game?
-
They don't they don't write down 50/50 balls. 50/50 balls.
-
Mean it's a loose ball and it any team can get it.
-
Those are hustle plays. You need those.
-
You need people. That's going to get the 50/50.
-
You need people that's going to take a charge.
-
Charges ain't pretty. Charging man, I've missed some
-
time then the other night I was trying to take a charge, I fail
-
too early so the ref came over to me.
-
It was like, you know, I can't get that to you just fail too
-
early but I want, but I want you to see what happened though.
-
The ref thought he needed to come and talk to me so, so how
-
did I get in the rest head? To the point where he needs to
-
come explain, why he didn't make a call?
-
And this is every game. There's a brand of ball that
-
they can expect us to play. Therefore they have to call the
-
game a certain way. And there's some calls that they
-
will make on another team because hustling what they
-
normally do, but when your brand is hustle, they will give you
-
hustle points, so I can get away with a little bit more hands
-
because it's what I do. And for you, you show up one day
-
and try to be like him. But that ain't what you do.
-
You look wild and out of control and God saying pick a brand that
-
can get momentum and stay in rhythm with him and no matter
-
how you feel, stay locked in. You not going to be the main
-
scorer, you not going to get all the shine.
-
You not gonna get the interviews, you not gonna get
-
the girls, you not gonna get the guys, it ain't about none of
-
that, but You stay in the game long enough to win the wind can
-
pick up your effort. The wind can pick up your effort
-
and carry you. It's the second win.
-
This is when it's man, man, but you find a good team, say Hey by
-
the time, the fourth quarter, let's just stay in the game.
-
Real. Good teams are never trying to
-
be ahead the whole game. They're just trying to stay in
-
Striking Distance and in order to stay in Striking Distance,
-
you got to know your capacity. And what kind of effort you need
-
to give every day to stay in Striking Distance, so you're not
-
always having a play behind. So, so, so, so Elijah tells the
-
bro, he said strike, he said, I need you to strike and you will,
-
you will. Can you put up second?
-
What was it Second Kings? 13, something like that.
-
And I saw this and I'm like, oh, he talking about momentum, He
-
knows you're saying strike, just a strike.
-
I think his versa I think his verse, if you got it in a
-
message, that would be beautiful.
-
If you don't. Whatever. 14.
-
Momentum. I'm like this is why you cooking
-
you you speak the Bible says work while it is day.
-
It's like, you spend your whole summer, getting a tan and
-
partying that when the fall come you hit a place where you don't
-
have what it takes to have joy in the fall.
-
So now you trying to feel up in the fall when you should have
-
been fueling up at a pace, go on vacation, don't hit a beach, do
-
what you gotta do, but don't abandon your relationship with
-
God and the body of Christ. And then when the fall comes,
-
you need meetings and prayer. Elijah came down Sick.
-
It was the sickness of which he would soon die jehoash.
-
I gotta say that, super careful Jay, but that boy, Jay king of
-
Israel. Paid him a visit.
-
When he saw him, he wept openly crying my father, my father
-
chariots, and Horsemen of Israel.
-
Elijah told him go and get a bow and some arrows.
-
The king brought him to a brought him, the bow and arrows.
-
Then he told the king, put your hand on the ball.
-
He put his hand on the bowl. Then Elijah put his hand over
-
the hand of the king hears, some impartation.
-
Right. Here's training.
-
Here's Wednesday night. Bible study.
-
Here's I'm going to show you how to do this thing.
-
But I can't create momentum for you.
-
All I can do is press activate. Yeah, put your hand on the ball.
-
He put his hand on the boat and Elijah put his hand on the ball.
-
Like she said, now open the East window.
-
He opened it. Then he said, shoot and he shot
-
the arrow of God's salvation. What did he shoot?
-
There's power in your salvation is not just a ticket to Heaven,
-
every time the devil mess with you, guess what?
-
You got arrows, our Salvation reminding his but he is
-
defeated. The arrow of deliverance from a
-
ran Deliverance, Deliverance is less about a moment.
-
It is really about momentum, see the word of God drives out
-
demonic. See, you can be free through the
-
word of God. You can be free through exorcism
-
but exorcism is really not. the primary way Believers like, What
-
helps an exorcism happen? For a Believer.
-
Is your faith, your desire. But it's all in the word.
-
But you need an exorcism. But if you don't turn around and
-
follow Jesus little homie or the whole village is going to come
-
back and be even stronger. So if you ain't made your mind
-
up to follow Jesus, just go ahead.
-
Stay bound. And too many people want like a
-
little quick fix a degree of freedom and deliverance, and
-
it's like, no, have you made your mind up to stay free?
-
You gotta create moment me and my wife been running since 2007.
-
We've been running from our old ways ever since no turning back.
-
Now we have a momentum in our lives that is absolutely
-
explosive and whatever comes our way it's got a problem like
-
momentum is built up every day. Say you will do battle against a
-
ram until there's nothing left. He's saying, listen, what I'm
-
calling you to whatever you're dealing with, you're going to
-
have to keep striking because the plan is total Annihilation.
-
Your anger issue is total Annihilation.
-
Your addiction. God's plan is total
-
Annihilation, and total Annihilation means.
-
There's not even a Remnant for the Next Generation.
-
And I'm preaching to your little 5:30 sleepy self total
-
Annihilation. He does not just have your
-
sobriety, your sobriety on his mind but your sobriety, your
-
freedom and deliverance from sexual immorality or whatever.
-
He's trying to get it out. Your bloodline, like, totally
-
annihilate, the plan of the enemy, you say, you were Will do
-
battle. So God is telling you is no
-
forfeits man in there. The other night the other night
-
we was playing a team and wanted a players or two of their
-
players was really late and I find it hard to get motivated
-
with people that don't take stuff serious.
-
Like man I came out here to play some ball and y'all sitting down
-
there warming up with four players.
-
So the ref came. He said look, ya'll can call a
-
forfeit. It's up to you guys, or you guys
-
can play five on four. Until their other players show
-
up and I was like, okay well if our team decides to can we just
-
sit down the fifth man and just play 404 and I love the attitude
-
of our teammates. It was like nah, let's just run
-
these fools. Give me a little bit more.
-
Mike just a tiny bit. You write this?
-
Yes or no. Like wewe on a championship run.
-
So we can't afford to just cuz ya'll are responsible.
-
We can't afford to let share our oil with you right?
-
We can't afford to dumb it down. Down because you irresponsible
-
you gon feel your entry sponsibility.
-
But I said, but I was like hangman.
-
I don't feel like like beating up on for people.
-
Like that's just not fun. So then we start the game, and
-
this is little youngster, he just came out, just shot a
-
little shot and then we filed one of their teammates.
-
Are they filed us? And we on the free-throw line,
-
we might, we might release the snippet of Grace getting release
-
it, okay? Because I was mic'd up and I
-
said, hey Jung, Suk, don't come out here playing like you don't
-
care or just get off the cart. You got hung what you talking
-
about? I was like yeah I don't come out
-
here like no little chump. You're a grown man to come out
-
here with some pride. and then his teammate was like getting He
-
was like checking trying to tell him I say yeah don't come out
-
here like you know, grown man have some pride compete and I
-
was like I remember a few years back, me and my homies we had
-
four players and the other team had nine and the captain had the
-
nerves at warm-up sassy. All we had was for and we really
-
only have three because DJ Bernie was 450 pounds. 59.
-
Yeah, he's a big man but he knows in You remember that?
-
And and and, and, and my wife came and I read it with somebody
-
else on the team that white cane and it was their nine like they
-
was down there, doing all day was warming up and they Captain
-
was like, Hey Y'all, I'm about to go home.
-
Y'all call me after this win. You know what that did to me?
-
I wasn't thinking about four players.
-
When thinking about four players, I was like we only got
-
four players, I get more shots. Absolutely, I get more shots, we
-
can move it a little better and I got confidence in the players
-
that the, for like, it don't matter if I'm outnumbered.
-
But if I'm out number with some dogs man, that's what God said,
-
that you don't need all that Gideon.
-
All you need is three, honey. You got the right dogs on your
-
team. You don't need that much.
-
You get the right dogs on your team.
-
I believe in you. You believe in me, we got God on
-
our side, man. We can take out a giant Don't
-
need no Fanfare. I don't need no other Superstar.
-
I just need somebody with heart. Give me heart over telling any
-
day. And man I remember you like like
-
like we just came out bawling and they was bawling and we was
-
bawling but it came a point where it was like, no they not
-
in the game you start seeing Panic set in because they family
-
was on the sidelines and then they Captain went home and what
-
you did for that phone call to the captain a Road White.
-
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, he didn't.
-
Come back. And I remember, we were so
-
great. We was all we needed to stay in
-
the game so you gotta Play Wise their space needed.
-
We don't got no substitute. So we got to pick and choose.
-
So we just did a two, two Zone. I played at the bottom.
-
He did 22 zone. We didn't let him get nothing in
-
the paint. We made him shoot the whole
-
time. So, you gonna shoot how many
-
threes you gonna make? I mean, how many jumpers you
-
gonna make? So we made them a jump shooting
-
team, and they didn't like that. And I remember he came down
-
towards the end, I forget how it happened.
-
And in my mind I was like, you gave us a chance.
-
I think we were down to, and I remember it was three seconds
-
left. We had the last chance.
-
So it's a little, for we even say none in the time I was like,
-
you know, what it is. I remember taking that out of
-
bounds and I remember running a curl to the corner and hit the
-
fadeaway three and we won. And they looked at us like, And
-
we need to say we shake their hand, we and do nothing else
-
just like yes, sir. And but, but not once.
-
Did I ever think we would lose? I knew it would be harder, but
-
not once was I on the phone like, hey, anybody come help us
-
and sometimes you ask him for help and God has designed it for
-
you. Not to have that help, man.
-
Anybody available today. I got to go do this thing guys.
-
Like, no, you're messing up my plan.
-
I don't need them involved. I need you alone.
-
I need just you and wifey. I Need just you and that kid I
-
need just that's all I need. I don't need all the help.
-
You need spanked. So I told lil homie that
-
testimony real quick because we only use only two free throws.
-
So I had to get that testimony to a real quick.
-
He said you will do battle against a ram until there's
-
nothing left of it. But what is it?
-
You're battling with that. You've settled for just a little
-
bit being left in your life, you know, 10 packs to just one pack,
-
why you believe for nine packs and why you won't believe for
-
the last pack to get out your life?
-
Because, as long as you got one, Pack of cigarettes that opens
-
the door to the other nine coming back.
-
They got a little homey and your life, right as all.
-
When I would use to be back back home.
-
If we trying to sneak in the club, all we need is one homie
-
that can get in. And as long as we got one homie
-
in, we like we have to back. Do when that take your time,
-
don't blow the cover will be at the back door and you hear that,
-
you hear that, you hear that push on the door and you're
-
like, come in come in and there's always somebody That get
-
left. No, you gotta pee.
-
Right by the. Do you eat?
-
We can't go over there because it was that door open.
-
We can went in right now. Pick up the other arrows, pick
-
up the other Arrow said Elijah, he picked them up.
-
Then he said to the king of Israel strike, the ground, the
-
king struck the ground three times.
-
How many times? Times.
-
And then what quit. Three times and quit did this
-
all started because I just sense there's people in here, rather,
-
you getting weary of fighting or striking rather, you're starting
-
to. It's taken too long to get to
-
the level, you thought you were going to be at.
-
So, you're thinking of an exit plan, or you're thinking of
-
diverting to do? No, no, God is saying no.
-
You're actually making progress. You do know there's progress
-
that you can't see. See, stop just needing progress.
-
You see, there's progress, you cannot see.
-
And it's the progress. You cannot see that's truly a
-
threat to the enemy. Let me, let me help somebody up.
-
It is not good to expose all progress.
-
And that's what I was learning to understand.
-
God, even deals with us that way.
-
We want to know the whole pie, we want to know the whole
-
answer. We want to know, every where we
-
going, we want the corner. We turn it in.
-
We want to know. If we got all the money, we want
-
to know. If we don't have to help the
-
friends the house, we want to know, what size the house is.
-
We want to get in a whole little business conversation with God
-
and God is like, look, go, I got some people there for you.
-
I'm gonna feed you. I'm gonna put some shelter over
-
your head. I'm gonna get A whip and I'm
-
gonna make sure you got what you need and you like well what kind
-
of whip, what kind of shelter, what kind of needs and you want
-
to know all the what and he just need you to go.
-
So you can create momentum because you have to understand
-
your momentum is the key for things unlocking, it is not just
-
you moving, but when you move, you calls other things in the
-
earth to remove on your behalf. Look, look, look, look, when the
-
fan. Come on, there's dust particles.
-
You cannot see that when that van hits, that space dust goes
-
that way, their stings. When you move, there's things
-
that move it on your behalf off your movements.
-
That's why God is saying we walk by faith and not by sight.
-
It is impossible to see everything and I wish you can.
-
I wish you could turn the blue lights on in a way where it hit
-
the wall because you can see the heat waves or you can see the
-
fan waves, you can I saw it yesterday?
-
It's like because one of these this one is on.
-
All right, you can figure that out and if it happens, great,
-
but there's things just because you can't see, it doesn't mean
-
it's not as visible as you are. Once you understand that?
-
It doesn't mean it's. There's that's why on Wednesdays
-
were talking about Realms, there's Realms of sight I was in
-
the dark this morning study it. Now look I'm from I'm from
-
Oakland look me and teach me how to type You don't say it, like,
-
people just be like that Edward Scissorhands and then I had, I'm
-
like, I know you didn't spill something wrong it.
-
For sure. You didn't spell something
-
wrong. Right.
-
Right. Look look look.
-
And so I'm a look, I'm typing and then I'll look on the
-
screen. I'm like, okay you spelled that
-
in the dark, nothing, you gotta understand.
-
You gotta you gotta understand what, what, what what, what
-
dawned on me in that moment is that you type so much by looking
-
You, you know it's like have you ever driven somewhere and
-
realize you got off the exit? You wouldn't even paying
-
attention you was X, but right now I want you understand your
-
inner man has memory. This is how trauma can play a
-
gue for years. This is how you can pass on.
-
Trauma through your DNA, your blood carries information,
-
that's why you can pass things on from your cheek.
-
Like if you have a kid and then you actually start exercising
-
and you begin to Change your diet, you can shift your DNA and
-
the next kid. You wonder why they don't look
-
nothing like or they don't act nothing like the last set of
-
kids. Nothing.
-
Like Like where did you come from?
-
What diet was we on when that happened.
-
And, but what I realize it was like my inner man is at work.
-
There's this thing inside how God created us that when you do
-
the Reps, there's memory. So that's why Steph Curry.
-
That's why that's why. That's why these players when
-
they 60 years old they're going to pick up a ball and be able to
-
years of shooting the ball. And this is why, momentum is
-
important. You wonder why an athlete comes
-
out and does the same basic warm-ups, like, like, like seven
-
Curry, been doing this, all his life.
-
Why is he still doing it as an MVP and a four-time champion?
-
You think coming to church should be an option?
-
No, it doesn't matter. You think Steph Curry just feel
-
like dribble it but there's when his body is so tired, he's
-
trained himself for when his his body performs for him.
-
It's like that Tesla and its ability to drive for you.
-
And God said, I need you to live in such Way that When Storms
-
Come the joy, you practice without a storm begins to kick
-
in in the storm when times get rough.
-
You'll come. You'll Joy is not compromise.
-
Your power is not compromise. Your patience is not
-
compromised. You'll love is not compromised
-
because you put in the wraps so he's trying to teach him a
-
lesson here. Do Don't quit striking, keep
-
showing up, keep singing, keep dancing.
-
It's not about the shiny objects.
-
It's not about feeling like worshiping, it's not about
-
feeling, like put your hands up, but if Stephen Curry can shoot
-
in a way where even in his sleeps, his hands, his arms
-
would do the same motion. You can't tell me when I'm in a
-
storm and I'm depressed, or I'm down and out that my hands won't
-
automatically when a memory of his Miss come in my mind, my
-
hands won't lift up my knees won't start moving.
-
I got a praise in me. That's on autopilot, man, its
-
own teeth ball man. Why?
-
Y'all do three times a day because I'm training, I'm
-
training, you know, how many, you know, how much, how much?
-
How much work top athletes It's put into their craft worship is
-
our craft worship a, some recreational sport.
-
It's our craft is exactly what every human being was me.
-
That's the one thing every human being was made to do is worship.
-
And that's why we, let our intellect giving away.
-
So we try to find a religion. We can worship in that fits our
-
mindset, Our Lives, Philosophies are ways of thinking, our
-
comfort zones. And so, we got all these
-
man-made religions, because religion simply means seeking
-
God, but if I found the Lord, I'm not, I'm not a Christian,
-
I'm a Son of God. Christian isn't is a religion
-
like Muslim and New Age and and you can go on down the line.
-
But if I have found God, I take myself out of the pool of
-
religion and I've entered into Covenant relationship.
-
Our savior is the only one out of all saviors and gods that
-
defeated the grave. So I'm going to follow the one
-
that defeated death. I'm gonna follow the one whose
-
blood was spilled for my sin. No God, no, Idle.
-
No religion has taken care of the sin of man and no religion.
-
Argues that Jesus wasn't Jesus. What we argue is, he ain't the
-
only way, he ain't the only truth And only life.
-
That's fine. But, you know, God did not take
-
care of your sin, great philosophers, great discipline,
-
great. Great great, great people.
-
But I did not become saved because I found a good savior.
-
I found the only savior that handled my sin issue.
-
I found the only savior that defeated the grave, so that
-
there is life after death. There's no imagination.
-
There's no floating there. No, there is real. life after
-
death momentum momentum It's like you have to love yourself
-
enough to stop being inconsistent.
-
Inconsistency, is a plague. inconsistency is a plague and
-
you have to love yourself enough to stop being inconsistent
-
especially where you're called to be you come to church man in
-
a matter of you feel like lifting your hands I don't feel
-
like shooting 500 shots a day or 5,000 shots today.
-
I don't feel like running them heels that I don't feel like
-
doing all those mothers. Those those reps.
-
I don't feel like, doing all those Sprint's.
-
I don't feel like it. But boy, when you win that ring,
-
it was all worth it, huh? Seeing everybody want the top,
-
everybody won the gold. Everybody want the bling,
-
everybody want the attention. Everybody want the highlights,
-
but are you willing to put in the work?
-
Here you go in every area because you can't just put it
-
into your work and lose your family, like, Tom Brady.
-
You also got to invest in your family, in your spouse and your
-
children, like it has to be all around.
-
And so, we got to make sure that we love ourselves enough to be
-
consistent where we're supposed to be.
-
And then, and then start purging ourselves from time, thieves and
-
energy thieves. Just because you're cool doesn't
-
qualify you for my time, just because we have stuff in common
-
does not qualify you for my energy.
-
Commonality does not equate to relationship.
-
And I think it's too many people in here because you're bored
-
because you don't have a sense of identity.
-
You just are hanging with whoever's available just because
-
you were available when I'm lonely.
-
Don't mean you get to enter my space and you gotta watch it
-
when you're lonely because when you're lonely, You're
-
vulnerable, lonely is not a thing like it's a thing.
-
But It's not a thing. Like lonely is a choice.
-
It's an emotion because you can be doing something you love by
-
yourself. How you not lonely.
-
You just need a touch. You need some affirmation, you
-
need something. And that's why Instagram is
-
social media. Is so cool for the lonely and
-
the board is because when we enter that world it seems like
-
there's we getting especially when people like stuff even when
-
people you see people and you go check and see who is like oh
-
they looked at my page but I look at that part.
-
I want to see you looking at my stuff.
-
You don't like it but you pass through there at all.
-
Then people this is not the season, I'm telling you, you
-
cannot afford to come out of covid and go into isolation
-
isolation with just about enough coal about by Cody was just
-
about enough isolation. You don't need no more.
-
I'm telling you you need to get around the body of Believers in
-
faith and joy, and celebration, and hope.
-
I'm trying to tell you, you think, you think covid-19, It's
-
over now we didn't made it out. No, no, no.
-
I'm trying to tell you right now, in the name of Jesus, we
-
have not seen the worst of it. I don't care if it's covid on
-
care what new disease, it is. I don't care what I'm trying to
-
tell you. There's rumors of War, there's
-
planes falling. There's fights for power.
-
The Antichrist spirit is running rapid in the world.
-
So if your child of God you better you better stop thinking
-
the Bible as a fairy tale and understand that when the Bible
-
say, when you see these things, it's only the beginning.
-
And we see these things. And if you think you bout to
-
just fly through this world and not be challenged.
-
And your mental real estate is not many things, fogging up,
-
that's stupid. And your mental real estate is
-
not being found for. I mean, fought for in your
-
passion is not being fought for it.
-
And you don't think you need to acquit.
-
That's why Jesus went to the disciples and said, why'd y'all
-
wake me up? I really don't think Jesus was
-
like, sleep. I think he was resting.
-
It's a difference, he Restin it's even greater.
-
He was resting and not sleep. Sometimes you sleep, you don't
-
know what's going on. When you rest in, you're aware
-
of what's going on. But what's going on?
-
Does not impact your rest. He's like why y'all interrupting
-
me. I know he's I said we going to
-
the other side. He said, man, didn't you just
-
see the Miracles? Then you see me just feed
-
people. Oh, you're a little faith.
-
What's going on? He's like, the reason I told us
-
to go across, Not only was it an assignment.
-
But it was also a test or shall I say a proving get it out yours
-
God don't test people, he proves them.
-
So difference. He doesn't test the Bible tells
-
you that he doesn't test. He proves he proves like when
-
people are proving a car Right. He's proven he's deposited
-
something and you now it's a day to exercise is like preseason
-
and his real season. Now let's see all that training
-
you didn't did. Let's see if it really work,
-
it's not testing and it's proven to see what's in you.
-
So we don't go across this storm so we can prove so we can
-
verify, I don't need to verify, I don't need, God is Not trying.
-
Don't need to be verified. God needs you to know where you
-
at because without proving you think you've Dead a place, you
-
didn't arrive. So everybody has to be proved.
-
So why won't you put in the work for proving day, right?
-
Everyone will experience. Rough times, everyone will
-
experience something traumatic. Everyone except will experience
-
losing a loved one. Everyone don't wait till it
-
happens to start, trying to pull out of your spiritual Bank.
-
Why are you here three times? Why are you serving all?
-
Because I'm making deposits, if you want a name, people always
-
withdrawing when it's a day where the people you take from
-
Kane help you, you ain't got nothing.
-
So I'm a dancer three services. I was back there.
-
I took a nap come out here that anointing on me.
-
Like I'm like I'm depositing I want to I can see your faith and
-
every time I come up here, guess what?
-
I'm doing striking. The holy man.
-
Got angry with him. Why, why why didn't you hit the
-
ground five or six times? It was then you would have beat
-
a ram until he was finished. As it is, you'll defeat him
-
three times. Only this, why David?
-
He didn't just not Goliath down, he cut his head off.
-
It's and you need a finish him Spirit.
-
Think, I don't know what you're going through.
-
But man, there needs to be a finish him.
-
Spirit, like, there's got to be you. wanting it over like it
-
don't matter if I pray for you, if you don't leave here and host
-
bondage then what we playing for because you holding onto the
-
bondage, more than the demon is, He like y'all, are you so
-
stupid? You are don't even got no power.
-
If you told me that got let go, I have to let go by the
-
authority of the name of Jesus but you keep giving me
-
permission. It's like having a leak in your
-
ceiling and then being in ends of my hey, we can fix it and you
-
like knives, not that big Elite, we'll just wait.
-
What? What have you gotten weary of
-
striking? What have you gotten weary of
-
believing for praying for? All right?
-
There's two things I want to pray for.
-
That's cold, this codependency that's chemically and personally
-
relationally and I want to pray for dark thoughts that were kept
-
coming up to me earlier. It's dark thoughts, there's some
-
of you in here you come to church but boy you got some dark
-
thinking and you smile you smile you be smiling, you be smiling,
-
you be smiling. But in this mind when you get a
-
loan There's some dark dots. I don't know if his death, I
-
don't know if it's drugs, I don't know if his entertaining
-
losing, you know, giving up. I don't, I don't know, but it's
-
just dark thoughts. He just like, for whatever
-
reason there's just like this autopilot of dark thoughts and
-
you getting lonely or bored or anxious or frustrated is not
-
healthy for you. Like you do not it, paralyzes
-
you You right now. Some people are understand cry
-
out for change but not near necessarily wanted because you
-
become homies with your bondage. So it's kind of like a pillow
-
for you and there's more fear of how would I live without this
-
attitude? That protects me Co at it.
-
You didn't actually helped you accomplish a few things it in
-
kept some Joker's off of you. It kept some people afraid of
-
you it in kept some people not talking to you but what you
-
don't want to do is build up a wall around your life.
-
And allow anxiety to camp out, dark thoughts.
-
Dark dogs. Why don't know why God wants
-
the? I do because we're heading into
-
a season that gives this city in this country permission to have
-
dark thoughts. We've given you a name.
-
So it's like, oh, I can get some medication because I have sad,
-
and the Devil is a Lie. You can go through this fall and
-
this winter with so much joy. But that's a choice.
-
It's a choice. I don't know about you, but I
-
don't like being up at night time with dark thoughts.
-
It's just something about dark thoughts at night time.
-
He's got to get up walk around the house.
-
Sometime you might hyperventilate start having a
-
panic attack anybody ever have a panic attack?
-
Yeah. I have died.
-
I thought Pastor don't be having none, I don't know, I didn't
-
know pastors Panic, you would Panic if you dealt with all
-
kinds of crazy people to if you panic and just being single, no
-
kids. No kids, no nothing.
-
I meant to get into this message that we preached earlier, but I
-
think that was it. I just want to help a few people
-
out. I just want to pray for you.
-
It is not God's plan that you cope with anxiety or depression,
-
or fear torment, Suicidal Thoughts.
-
That's not God's plan. He didn't die for you to cope.
-
Understand there's coping mechanisms are under understand
-
like, and working out helps us and there's, there's certain
-
things that we can do, but but man, I need peace when I'm just
-
at home. I don't want to have to always,
-
I don't want to live a life of having to consistently Escape.
-
So I got to do things that helped me escape myself and when
-
you got to run from yourself, that's not good.
-
You don't like yourself. Right and we got we got to get
-
control over our thought life. This is real estate.
-
And once this goes is all bad, we got to be willing and strong
-
enough to compartmentalize our relationships.
-
Not everyone deserves two hours a week, we have to learn how to
-
Steward and budget our time, Stuart and budget, our energy,
-
We get one shot at this. One shot and I think there's
-
people in here that you've just kind of written it off.
-
That is it? It'll go away.
-
I'll just deal with it. But I'm talking about going
-
after them thoughts. When you like by yourself them
-
thought you wouldn't dare tell nobody cause you like they gonna
-
think I'm crazy. Then thought you don't even tell
-
your spouse, your children and your family because it's too
-
crazy. They won't even understand how
-
about those dark. He he, he specifically said,
-
dark thoughts. He didn't say suicidal thoughts
-
and he just said, dark thoughts. And it might be somebody in
-
here. You didn't have thoughts across
-
your mind and killing somebody. Rather it was pain and Deuce,
-
rather, they abandon you in a matter.
-
But man, once you, it's just a, it doesn't matter if it's
-
something that's every week, but it could be like, every blue and
-
blue moon, or it could be whenever you get to a certain
-
level of anger that thought come across, let me tell you, don't
-
want no thought in your mind of killing somebody, because if
-
it's a thought, it's a scene, if it is a seeded has fruit, every
-
seed has potential. And if you have a thought in
-
your mind, you have a Seed in your mind that has potential to
-
consume you at the wrong time, with the wrong person with the
-
wrong set of circumstances and then it's too late.
-
We have people in prison for the rest of their lives because of
-
one decision, we have people on East Hastings, hooked on drug
-
because of one hit. So what I'm saying is like, you
-
don't want to take for granted, the freedom you do have now to
-
overcome, what may seem like a smart?
-
The Bible says the small Fox spoils the vine.
-
Here's what that small Fox does. It choose at the vine so you
-
like, as long as I got a Vine, I'm cool, but not, it's chewed
-
on, right? Anybody ever Have a straw.
-
And you still got something to drink, but you didn't chewed on
-
the straw. How efficient is that chewed up
-
straw? That's a chewed-up buying.
-
You might have a Vine but that small Fox those little thoughts
-
in your mind that little attitude.
-
You like that. Scares me.
-
That's the as made as I got the you don't see any of you don't
-
like it, then you can hike it. Right, that's just me, right?
-
That's crazy. You that I want you to see how
-
simple that is, but see how you own that demon.
-
You, I don't don't worry about a demon, don't I got you.
-
That's just, you might as well say.
-
That's just us. Can I get a?
-
Can I get a fist? Pound it down your please,
-
because that ain't how God made you.
-
But you over there protecting them little demons because you
-
afraid to be vulnerable, that's just a start saying that
-
suggests us, you're gonna see how crazy you sound right.
-
Who is US? Who Do Ya, you and that little
-
Spirit behind you. That's why the Bible said, try
-
the spirit. I get it.
-
I love you enough to know that that's a spirit.
-
That ain't really you. You got a good heart.
-
You amazing person, you're smart, you're intelligent,
-
you're beautiful. You actually have a tender
-
tender, heart, big heart, but that fear that insecurity that's
-
deeply. Deeply wound in your soul, you
-
to protect it because it's like, who am I being vulnerable?
-
The best version of you. You understand vulnerability
-
comes before healing. You're trying to wait till
-
you're healed, which means you think you're going to be strong?
-
But to get too strong, you gotta get too vulnerable.
-
I'm just trying to help a few people tonight.
-
I don't care worship, team don't care who you is.
-
He's for sure. If you on the words of Team, you
-
dealing with them, dark thoughts.
-
Think about killing somebody, if I'm going to keep helping lead
-
the team, you ain't going to kill me.
-
So you better deal with that demon tonight.
-
Please cuz I'm gonna get on your nerves over the future.
-
So you get rid of that murder demon right now, whatever it is,
-
whatever is that is tormenting, you whatever it is that is
-
plaguing your mind. Here's what I want you to see
-
is, I'm not telling you thoughts.
-
I won't ever come, but strength and power and greater thoughts.
-
My Triumph thing thoughts right here, there's a time, you know,
-
one just practical thing that helps with with with might like
-
like I'm not a cool vomiter like you think I'm having an
-
exorcism. When you hear me throw up, I'm
-
like all in. I got veins but like, I busted
-
out by anybody. Remember, my I had that blood.
-
My now, I was throwing up. Like you know when you you
-
busting vessels trying to throw uh, see but but I went from one
-
extreme to another because I'm like, I don't like throwing up
-
so I'll try to keep it in. But in order to keep it in, I
-
gotta breathe the certain way and then it eventually turns
-
into hyperventilation. And so, then it turns into a
-
panic attack before me and wife, he was really strong.
-
I remember one time I was sick. I like, I was whatever.
-
To me, I was sick. I had to throw up and I was
-
trying not to. I was like babe, I can't.
-
I got you trying to lead a kid with me and I can't like, I'm
-
not feeling good. I'm going to work like, okay.
-
So, my little episode happened. I don't know if I called or the
-
kid called know that was a long time ago, stop playing with me.
-
With his, she was on the road and the ambulance was talking to
-
her and she was like put them on the phone.
-
I'm like, hello. She like Terrence, stop it.
-
No mercy, no love. But I get it like, I get it
-
because I don't want to the hospital a couple times because
-
I couldn't handle it. Huh, killed a full so I'm not
-
going to tell the full story. It's going to take too long.
-
So but one thing that helped me is just like, you know, they try
-
to put the little paper bag and just like, breathe.
-
I'm like, man, we called you here to give me the tank.
-
Give me the oxygen tank. I'll be cool.
-
But they gotta go through all kinds of procedures before they
-
let you, I'm like, bro, I don't want no back.
-
I know what's going to fix this. Give me the tank.
-
They weren't trying to hear it, but I remember me.
-
Andrew and just some super practical.
-
Just teaching me the importance, this is important.
-
The importance of breathing properly in this is part of our
-
problem if you don't think the change is important.
-
Then the ability doesn't matter well because I found it
-
important. That's why we're there is no
-
Revelation, knowledge of a thing people perish.
-
So you don't need more information or another book or a
-
seminar. You need revelation of what
-
you've been given and because I found out the importance of
-
breathing properly, then it's easier for me to surrender to
-
the process of breathing, although it's irritating.
-
I just want to stop and breathe when I want to.
-
All these little tack tactics but they work.
-
So then when I got sick, My wife is like, wow, you did good
-
because I didn't I didn't like I was going in but I didn't go to
-
the hospital. So I'm winning.
-
I'm winning. I'm doing better.
-
Right? I just I just want you to see
-
that you actually do need another way to do.
-
It doesn't mean I'm not gonna get nauseous again.
-
It'll mean, I'm not gonna get sick again, but I actually have
-
allowed a tool to come in my life, that can help me overcome.
-
The problem that I was having. It doesn't mean thoughts aren't
-
going to enter your mind? Doesn't mean you're not going to
-
get angry, but you have to get to a point where you allow in
-
the tools. So when anger shows up, raid,
-
shows up those thoughts come up that attitude come up, you
-
actually handle them differently.
-
And so, what prayer is for tonight, it's not to get rid of
-
the devil, you to get rid of the devil.
-
You gotta go to heaven. He's here now saying he's here,
-
he's in this world. He's the God of this world.
-
You not going ever as long as you alive.
-
Run from craziness. You're in it, not of it.
-
That's why you got to renew your mind as we got a transform and
-
that's why you have to trade your Sorrows for Joy.
-
Wow. That's a choice.
-
You trade it instead of complaining.
-
I'm going to Joy. Joy is not a feeling.
-
It's an action, it's a choice. I could choose to be mad.
-
And then in my mind build a case.
-
Y'all. So cute.
-
You know, saying, but what I feel realize especially What I
-
realize is that not everyone wants to do the work.
-
It's easier to just stay and think that life and time is
-
going to change you. Oh it's going to change you.
-
It's going to change and start. Charlie encourage young people
-
the LIE, the world feeds us, is there.
-
It's a certain age. Then you become serious.
-
Then you become in love with the Lord.
-
Then you become you deal with your issues.
-
No no, no, no. I lost a good friend of mine at
-
16 years old. 12-gauge, shotgun straight to the back promise in
-
the world. You think he woke up that day,
-
planning to get killed. Nope.
-
And what he chose to put back, put off the day before if he
-
could have dealt with it a week before and made a different
-
Choice, he wouldn't have ran into that bullet.
-
So what I'm saying is mindsets lead to decisions and And lead
-
to consequences. So I believe that God wants you
-
to put down some mindsets rather.
-
You've whether you have said it or rather there's been a thought
-
pattern, you with hair, you've inherited.
-
And you've allowed that to be put on autopilot dark thoughts.
-
Codependency rather it's on chemicals or people?
-
If that's you, I want you to just come up here up front.
-
You don't give me something to eat, if we got a worship team
-
left, I mean, it's no pressure, no pressure, no pressure, no
-
pressure, no pressure, this won't be long.
-
This won't be long, it won't be long.
-
It won't be long. It won't be long.
-
It won't be long. And then in this one is what I
-
want to do. You bring it down, bring it
-
down. I also want us interceding for
-
the people who actually won't take the opportunity in the
-
moment and just will pass on it and like, I can't deal with
-
this. I'm good.
-
I'm not going up front. We gonna pray for you, too.
-
Because God sees you, but why would you ask us to come up
-
front because it takes a step of Faith, right?
-
Is this how it is? Like if you embarrass me
-
publicly, don't try to apologize privately.
-
Right? If you can get all publicly then
-
why can't you publicly humble yourself?
-
All right, let's just get a chance.
-
Key chance a chance. A chance.
-
Give me a chance. Dark thoughts.
-
Now really quickly up a passenger.
-
You come up really quickly. I want to help some people
-
identified dark thoughts. It's like how we identify drug
-
addict. We think all drug addicts is
-
either crack or heroin know you smoke weed.
-
You look you're a drug addict if or if you all you don't sound
-
like if you let you know saying we like try to make weed this
-
minor drug no drugs. Is is what drugs when I used to
-
smoke weed? Man.
-
I used to smoke a lot of it and I remember my mom and law used
-
to tell me I needed help. And I'm like, man, I'm just
-
smoking weed. You need help. sorry drugs is
-
drugs and if you're dependent on them for peace or calm I'm
-
telling you it is not something you want to rely on Hague Nang
-
my daddy was locked up in prison for selling drugs and now we got
-
weed cause we on the corner everywhere we got my Miles of
-
places that are playing. We display.
-
We got Mom, how, how, you got thousands of people locked up in
-
prison over weed, and now you got it on every corner, and you
-
got it on the side of Highways, just four miles growing, and
-
then you got signs where you can call and get we deliver you can
-
over smoke you overeat. Over smoke.
-
You can get we delivered. Come on man.
-
Do not let the because the world has legalized it all of a
-
sudden. It's cool.
-
You go get shrooms to stop man. I'm trying to tell you.
-
I'm trying to tell you, the Lord is trying to help you.
-
It's been bringing up to me over and over and over again and
-
there's a group of people who is waiting to have a conversation
-
with someone who heard them before they take, hold of their
-
wholeness. You may never get to have that
-
conversation. Pastor Terrance and myself can
-
stand up here as a representative.
-
Maybe of that person who hurt you, your wholeness is not
-
wrapped up in another person. That's not how God created us.
-
We are completely whole alone. And by ourselves with God, We
-
don't need someone to apologize for hurting us.
-
We don't need to have a final conversation.
-
We don't need to tell them how bad they hurt us.
-
It is totally okay, that you release, whatever that was
-
today, move forward, never Revisited know that you are
-
healed whole healthy able to move forward that you release
-
that mental real estate. You don't ever have to talk to
-
them. They never have to apologize to
-
you. You don't have to have that
-
moment. You can have that moment with
-
God as a woman, if it was a woman who hurt you, I apologize
-
for hurting you. I apologize for hurting you
-
physically. I apologize for letting you
-
down. I apologize for abusing you.
-
I apologize for anything that I did that put You In Harm's Way.
-
I apologize as a woman as a representative of a woman in
-
this, And we just cover you in that.
-
Yeah, for me as a dad, as a man, as a father, I apologize.
-
I repent for not being there for you, for abusing you for
-
abandoning you, I need you to know that your freedom is in
-
you. Letting them go.
-
So, you have to hear these words, right?
-
Because there's people that you are holding a grudge against And
-
they also have pain. Like, what does it take for you
-
to abandon someone? That's your child or abused,
-
someone. That's your child.
-
Is gotta be some Brokenness. And so, I just pray right now.
-
If you can't find it in you to forgive, I pray that you can
-
allow compassion for them to come into your heart and
-
compassion will push out bitterness.
-
If you can find compassion for parents that misrepresented,
-
you, they Hurt You by putting you in a position where you have
-
to answer questions to church folks and your peers at school.
-
But I am telling you for whatever reason, I really
-
believe strongly that God is pleading with his children right
-
now because we're he's trying to take us, we cannot take
-
bitterness. We cannot take victim, we cannot
-
take grudges, we cannot take unforgiveness.
-
God is trying to take us higher and we need to Offload the
-
baggage. It's not about a feeling it's
-
about making a choice tonight tomorrow this week on and on
-
even those kind of choices take momentum.
-
It's hard the first day and it's hard the first week but man
-
there's a momentum of discipline.
-
So make a decision to have momentum in your discipline
-
live. Your hands are right where you
-
are and if you're up here and you've been prayed for, if you
-
want to go back to your seat and slowly find we're almost done
-
but we really care about connecting with you to walk in
-
the fullness and me and my wife would not have been able to
-
celebrate 18 years. And some time our kids are like
-
is why you guys kissing well date.
-
The older ones, don't know more. But the little one does and it's
-
just like man, you better be grateful for having two parents
-
in the house that love each other.
-
Don't think everybody has that luxury and don't you dare take
-
advantage of that. But I'm really feeling the heart
-
of those, if you can get down to the core of it as mad, as you
-
are at your parent, and you can put a nice statement.
-
I wish that I had my dad. I wish that I was loved by my
-
mom. I wish that they could just
-
understand me. I wish they never hit me.
-
I wish they never raped me. That hurt me like, like, Express
-
the feeling but do not. Allow bitterness to take room
-
because truth of the matter is you're hurt.
-
You're afraid and that's truth in spirit Spirit and Truth.
-
Where are you really at? And get that out.
-
I am hurt but I'm not quitting. I am hurt but I will not Park
-
here. I am hurt but I will not be a
-
victim. I'm getting up today while I'm
-
hurting I'm going to Rejoice while I'm hurt.
-
I am going to walk in Hope and Faith while I am hurt, it
-
doesn't matter. The pain will catch up with my
-
joy. I mean the joy will catch up.
-
It will push out my pain. But what I'm saying is make a
-
choice today. Make a choice today to be the
-
victor. Can you pull up?
-
It's the slide with John 21. I just want to give you guys
-
something. We go.
-
We'll go. You guys can keep keep keep.
-
We're mindful. Can we get them?
-
Yeah. Can we get them their chairs
-
back, please. You keep the altar open.
-
That's fine. You can take it down.
-
Just keep that ready? Thank God for delivered worship
-
team. Amen.
-
Amen. All right, really quickly.
-
Can I just read something to you guys really quickly about
-
momentum? Say momentum, say again, see
-
momentum requires again. All right.
-
Close here, John 21 later, Jesus appeared once again say again to
-
a group of his disciples by Lake Galilee.
-
Just so you have context. Jesus has died and he has Rose.
-
This is him in his risen State. It Happened One day, while Peter
-
Thomas twin. Nathanael from Cana in Galilee.
-
Jacob, John and two other disciples were all together mind
-
you. They lost their friend.
-
Jesus, the brother Jesus. They had to be grieving Peter
-
told them, man. I'm about to go fishing.
-
Now, Peter and never went back fishing like this for a little
-
while because he had been making, he's been making
-
Fisher's, he has become a fisher of men.
-
I just use my imagination. I think Peter just need some
-
time, and he bout to go out on the water and get some time to
-
himself and they all replied will go with you.
-
I highlighted that because I just need a couple people that's
-
down to go with me. It's down to go through some
-
tough times with me. So they went out and fished
-
through the night through the what night?
-
But caught what. Nothing now there are Master
-
fisherman. So the night time is the best
-
time when it's dark is good. Time to go fishing, they were
-
out on the water. All what night and caught what?
-
Nothing anybody ever been wrestling for a while.
-
With something and came out with nothing.
-
You've been praying, you've been bombarding, Heaven, you've been
-
fasting, you've been doing all kind of stuff, but it seems like
-
that thing will not break and say it was standing.
-
Then at dawn, Jesus was standing there on the shore, but the
-
disciples didn't realize that it was what him.
-
I kind of got this picture of song came to my head.
-
I always feel like somebody's watching me and Anna.
-
Any, uh, oh. Right?
-
Because will give you get the picture.
-
I need you to, I need the Bible to come alive to you, and it
-
seems like Jesus has left them. It seems like they're all along.
-
It seems like I can't hear God's voice.
-
They're out there doing their thing, but Jesus is sitting
-
there watching them. He cares.
-
He He's never left you. He's watching how you're
-
responding. He's watching to watch when he
-
can intercede and help you when you fall.
-
And this is why you need to keep moving.
-
It's why you need to keep moving and not worried about.
-
If God got your back God Gonna Catch.
-
You any time you step out in faith?
-
He called out to them. Hey guys, I don't know if he
-
talk like that, but Hey guys, did you catch any fish?
-
I mean, mind you. This is second time.
-
This has happened before when he pushed Peters boat out and he
-
used it to preach. Don't forget, Jesus showed up
-
before death. Again, did you catch anything?
-
Why is he asking something? He knows, here's what you have
-
to understand, Elder, John are they got understand?
-
Because I think you might understand, he has blessing you
-
on his mind, but he needs you to know that you actually need it,
-
and here's what happens sometimes.
-
Hey, did you catch anything? Yeah.
-
I'm good pride has you and it's some of you in here, probably
-
got you saying I'm good. I don't need no help.
-
I got it all under control and Jesus, like, cool.
-
Keep going there and I see it all the time.
-
Is his people that think they like I'm good and God always
-
tonight was this moment. Hey did you catch any fish?
-
Have you dealt with that anger? Have you dealt with that
-
attitude? Have you have you?
-
And you like man I just went to the altar last week but last
-
week between last week and today guess what?
-
Came up? That little funky funk.
-
And what you fail to do. Some of you tonight is Strike
-
again. You looking at the frequency and
-
God's. Looking at the consistency
-
you're looking at, I was at the altar last week.
-
I was there two weeks ago. I'm not going up there.
-
No more, it's working. This got to work at some point
-
and God is like, no, I'm training you to keep striking.
-
I'm training Dylan, he's the rewarder of those who
-
diligently. Like it take diligence is like
-
you disowned the devil's head just Some of you deal with your
-
bondage like you, okay? You, you don't, you don't call
-
that ambulance on your bondage. You don't bandage up your
-
strongholds. he said, throw your net over the starboard of the
-
starboard side and you'll catch some And for some of you that
-
came up here tonight, that's what you did.
-
You cast it your net and so they did as he said they did as he
-
said they did, as he said they didn't talk themselves out of
-
it. They did because they had all
-
the reason to say Jesus. We actually do this sir.
-
You a really a carpenter. So we know ain't no fish down
-
there, but what he also doing is pulling on their remembrance
-
because he did it before. And so, they did as he said, and
-
they caught so many fish, they couldn't even pull in the net.
-
Remember that? That total Annihilation right
-
here, just ended poverty, just ended broke, just ended, not
-
enough. They just went in one decision
-
of obedience. They were From just enough to
-
more than enough. Yo, I got this going to get.
-
You got Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, it is
-
the Lord. When Peter heard him say that he
-
quickly wrapped his outer garment around him, and because
-
he was athletic, he Dove right into the lake, to go to Jesus.
-
This brother swam the Jesus. I want you to see this though
-
ain't no Pride. I need Jesus.
-
I don't Who see me? I'm taking my woman with the
-
issue of blood blind Bartimaeus. I'm taking this off and I'm
-
swimming. Y'all want to stand a bowl to
-
cool? Gonna stay in the boat of cool
-
but I'm about to go meet my savior.
-
Who's been good to me? The other disciples.
-
Dan brought the boat to shore, dragging their catch a fish
-
dragging. They weren't far from Land, only
-
about 100 meters. When they got to shore they
-
notice a charcoal fire with some roasted fish and bread, CC God's
-
trying to get you out of Labor. So you can enter s wait wait a
-
minute, wait a minute. He just took them from out of
-
Labor. And striving and he was
-
preparing communion. All right, I'ma help.
-
You see this one more time, he entered their labor and invited
-
them to rest. I want you to see something.
-
He didn't get on the water with him.
-
He said, I'm not gonna get in your mess with you.
-
I'm gonna call you out of it. And Jesus said, bring some of
-
the fish. You just caught So, Peter waded
-
into the water and help pull the net to shore.
-
It was full of many large fish. Exactly 153 large fishies.
-
But even with so many fish, the net was not torn.
-
Okay. Come let's have some breakfast.
-
Jesus said to them, and I wanted a disciples needed to ask who it
-
was, because every one of them knew it was the Lord and he's
-
trying to do something significant in your life that
-
causes you. Not to doubt who he is, then
-
Jesus came close to them and serve them the bread and the
-
fish. This was the third time Jesus.
-
Appeared to his disciples after Resurrection.
-
The Lord is trying to get you out of striving interests.
-
I don't know how else to put it. What he has blessing on his mind
-
for you know this sounds strange.
-
But the Lord's not going to ask you to practice again and he
-
don't. So I live his grace and mercy he
-
saying I'm giving those that refuse to strike the First Time.
-
One More Shot. And this time the window is not
-
wide open and I do not want you coming up because you like well
-
maybe you know, maybe I just come up just in case he talked.
-
No, no. You gotta know you passed on the
-
last one. You gotta know.
-
It's for you. It's not like, okay, well, if we
-
don't come up and passing on, keep going on, keep None of this
-
is all love for you. You just pray for a Troy be
-
taken. Pray for these ladies before you
-
do that before you do that, we can move onto another song.
-
There's something I want you to really get when you before we
-
pray for you. I want you to leave the question
-
when at the altar. And I want you to walk away with
-
it's finished. The Lord says, leave the win up
-
to me wwhen, leave the win up to me but you don't need to see it
-
to begin to walk in it. If you're waiting for healing,
-
if you're waiting for a family member, if you're waiting for
-
something, the Lord says except it is finished, accept it.
-
But be encouraged because it's here, it's here.
