Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

It's go time. Let's get into it.

Hallelujah. Well, thank you, worship team, I

got good news. If you came here feeling heavy,

if you came here feeling burdened, if you came here in

need of rest, if you came here just feeling beat down, There is

victory in lifting up the name above every name, which is Jesus

Christ. And know that through your

engagement of worship, as you lift up the name above every

name, every other name must come down.

Anxiety must come down. Sickness must come down.

Fear must come down, loneliness must come down.

Jesus says, come to me, all you who are weary and in need of

rest, and learn of me. Take my yoke upon me, for my

yoke is easy and my burden is light.

And so there is good news for you here today.

Rest is found in the name of Jesus.

Rest is found in joining your life to Jesus.

He is for you and not against you.

He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you.

Plans for a bright future. Amen.

Is that not good news, Church? Hallelujah.

Well I am super excited to be able to preach this morning and

man I do not take this opportunity lightly at all.

Great men and women have stood up here before me and delivered

anointed, powerful, life changing words, advancing the

Kingdom before me. And I just count it such a

privilege to be entrusted with the microphone here.

And so it's I got to give honor where honor is due, and that's

to my pastors, my spiritual parents, my spiritual covering.

That's Pastor Terence and Pastor Julia, who are the founding

pastors of love quest. They truly helped me discover

the new me. That's the KNEW me.

That's the version of Dylan that God knew knows.

That's the version of myself that was buried under all kinds

of fear, all kinds of regret, all kinds of anxiety.

But God sent pastors to help call the new Dylan out.

And so Pastor Terrence, Pastor Julie, I love you and I'm so

grateful for your lives and your covering and your faithfulness

to the gospel. So I say thank you for

entrusting me with this great privilege.

And so we were just singing worship about how we lift up the

name of Jesus. We were sitting a man.

We run back to you and we've and we fall before you.

We humble ourselves before Jesus because Jesus gave us new life,

because Jesus set us free. Jesus brought us from a low

place of being defeated where we were slaves to sin.

He lived a pure life so that when he shed his blood and I put

my faith in his blood as payments come from my sin, I

could come alive and I would no longer be separated from God the

Father, our Creator, by sin, but I would become alive again by

the Spirit. And so we worship Jesus because

it's only by Jesus that we have new life.

Amen. And so this is the vein of the

word that I am preaching you here this morning.

I am echoing a word that Pastor Terence has already preached

previously, and that's this word on evolve.

Evolve speaks to becoming, becoming who you were destined

to be. And the butterfly is such a

beautiful example of something that has evolved.

When you see a butterfly fluttering through the sky is so

beautiful. It's so colorful, it's so

intricate and detailed. It's so effortlessly.

When it is flying, it's clear to see that that butterfly is doing

exactly what it was created to do.

And Jesus came to set us back on track.

That we can become the sons and daughters that we were created

to be. That when we walk on the earth,

we walk with the same beauty, the same eloquence, eloquence,

the same grace, the same ease when we are in right fellowship

and right standing with God the Father.

And so when we see a butterfly, this butterfly is in all of its

glory. The word glory speaks to its

fullest potential. It is arrived at its fullest

potential. It is free to be who it's

created to be. But how many of you know that

the butterfly was not always free?

There was a stage in its life where it was bound in a cocoon.

And I know, don't go there yet, please.

I know, I know. The cocoon is, is, is a good

place for the butterfly to receive its nourishment and to

go through its metamorphosis to become the butterfly.

But for the sake of my illustration, I want you to see

that cocoon as a place where that butterfly is stuck.

The cocoon is a place where that butterfly is bound.

The cocoon is a place necessary that for the butterfly to leave

behind in order to become or evolve and to be what it was

created to be. And so the cocoon within evolve.

My subtitle is called From My Kingdom to Thy Kingdom.

The Lord specifically gave me that what prevents sons and

daughters from evolving to be the fullest potential of who

they were created to be is they are not willing to leave My

Kingdom and enter into Thy Kingdom or they refuse to, to

leave behind the old and step into the new.

And from within our souls, we are body, soul and spirit.

Our body is fallen flesh. It has a desire to just feed its

natural cravings, which are sinful to do what we want, when

we want, whatever we want. But there is a spirit man inside

of us that desires to be one and united with God.

And it's the spirit man when we walk in the spirit man, that we

are carrying the very Kingdom of the Father, thy Kingdom.

But when we refuse to do things in thy Kingdom, and we hold fast

to my Kingdom, my cocoon. I was brought up doing what I

want. I was the boss of me.

I acquired some injuries, some hurts in my heart along the way

when I was doing things my way, when I was in relationships and

people broke my heart, my heart was hurt.

So I put up walls to prevent myself from getting hurt again,

which prevents me from loving the way that God desires me to

love. And so there's this wrestle

between flesh and spirit. And so I want you to see the

cocoon as a place being bound. The cocoon is the place where I

am in my flesh, but the Lord Jesus came that I may evolve to

be this butterfly, that I may evolve to be free, that I may

evolve to be alive again by spirit.

And the Bible says where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is

freedom. But in order to receive the

Spirit of Christ, I must die to my Kingdom and enter into thy

Kingdom. And it's only by the blood of

Jesus that I can do so. And so these two realms, the

realm of the flesh and the realm of the spirit, are at war with

one another. I want you to see that the enemy

originally came to establish my Kingdom and then following the

fall of man, Jesus came to re establish thy Kingdom.

Turn to Genesis 3. This is in the very beginning of

the of the Bible. Now this, this is in the Garden

of Eden. Now the serpent was more crafty

than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.

He said to the woman, did you, did God really say you must not

eat from any tree in the garden? The woman said to the serpent,

We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, But God did say,

you must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of

the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.

You will not certainly die, the serpent said to the woman, For

God knows that when you eat from it, your eyes will be opened,

and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

So the enemy came and put the lie in Eve's ear, in mankind's

ear, that you can be like God, you can be your own God.

The enemy deceived mankind into turning their backs on the

divine planet God, which is a partnership between God and

mankind, so that the mankind would set up my Kingdom, their

ways of doing things. And that is when sin crept in

and brought a great divide. But Jesus came to reestablish

thy Kingdom. He built that bridge back by his

blood, that where we were once separated, we are no longer

separated. We see that through Jesus

teaching us to pray. Our Father in heaven, hallowed

be your name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it

is in heaven. Jesus was the manifested heart

and will of God to reunite heaven and earth.

So Jesus came to reestablish thy Kingdom, the Kingdom.

Kingdom is a King's domain or a King's place of rulership.

That's what Kingdom means. It's a place that that king

rules and occupies it and exercises his lordship.

And Jesus taught us that God's Kingdom realm is already

expanding within some of you. Another translation says,

behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.

It's in your very hearts. And so the Kingdom of God is

within the hearts of those who have received Jesus as their

Lord and Savior. But we see in the Bible Jesus

came across a rich young ruler, and the rich young ruler says,

Jesus, I follow all your teachings, what more must I do

to enter into the Kingdom of heaven?

And Jesus says, go, sell all your belongings and follow me.

But it said that the rich young ruler walked away discouraged

because he had much wealth and he was not willing to part with

his wealth. So that rich young ruler was not

willing to allow Jesus to be his Lord.

He was not willing to trade his riches, which occupied a place

of rulership in his heart for Jesus as his ruler.

Now for some of us, it's career, for some of us it's it's love,

it's desire to have a spouse. For some of us, it's it's

influence, whatever we meditate on the most, whatever we

idolize, whatever we worship, whatever we give the most weight

in our hearts, that is what is ruling our hearts.

And Jesus decide desires to be the king and ruler of our

hearts. And so I was sent here to ask

you this morning, who is the King of your heart?

This is a question you need to seriously ponder and consider

yourself as a follower of Christ.

The Bible teaches in Romans 10 verse nine that if you confess

Jesus says Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him

from the dead, that you shall be saved.

And many of us pray this prayer and make this confession without

fully understanding the weight of the title Lord.

Lord speaks to ownership. Lord speaks to my life is no

longer in my hands. My life no longer belongs to me.

I have given it into the hands of Jesus.

And this can only be done through a revelation of the

goodness of God, that Jesus is for you and not against you,

that his ways are higher than my ways, that he has plans for good

for my life. And so a good way of seeing,

asking yourself who is the king of my heart is who is the main

character in my life? Are all of my worries, all of my

concerns about me? Or is Jesus the first person

that comes to mind when I'm making big life decisions?

When I'm asked to serve? When I'm asked to do something

out of my comfort zone, am I quick to say no that makes me

uncomfortable? Or do I ask myself, would this

bring glory to God and would this help serve others?

Who is the king of your heart Is Jesus Lord?

David was a man after God's own heart.

In Psalms 139 he cries out and prays.

Search me thoroughly, oh God, and know my heart.

He opens his heart up to the Lord.

Expose any area of me, try me and know my thoughts and see if

there is any wicked or hurtful way in me and lead me in the way

everlasting. My Kingdom is focused on what I

can get, while Thy Kingdom is focused on what I can give.

And Jesus taught finances and stewardship.

Over 1/3 of his sermons in the gospels is on stewardship and

finances because he knew the risk that man ran of making an

idol out of possessions that they got.

This belongs to me and I'm not willing to share it.

My Kingdom is more concerned about what I can get where thy

Kingdom is focused on what I can give.

God so loved us that He gave Jesus that whoever would believe

in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

Where to steward the many blessings that God has given us?

Where to live before God with open hands?

Everything that is good comes from the Lord.

And so I freely have received, freely I give back unto the

Lord. It keeps in a heart posture open

before God to not make idols out of everything, anything, but to

always have Jesus on the throne of our hearts.

And so as if as I'm just preaching this message, you're

being stung at the heart saying, man P Dill, I am the main

character of my life and I want to make a change.

I have been serving my Kingdom more than thy Kingdom.

I want to, I want to, I want to evolve beyond me and enter into

the great plan that God has for me.

John the Baptist and Jesus both preached repent, think

differently, change your mind, regretting your sins and your

conduct for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.

There's a prerequisite for entering into the Kingdom of

heaven which is at hand, and it's repent.

Take your life out of your own hands and put it in Jesus's

hands. Take your eyes off yourself and

put them on Jesus to become the new you, the glorified you.

It requires you to leave the old you behind.

A surrendered heart is united to the sun's heart, the same way

that the butterfly gets its energy and its wings from

basking in the presence of the sun.

We as spiritual sons get our energy, our power, our anointing

and being united with Jesus, First Corinthians says.

But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

Hallelujah. Romans 8 says The entire

universe is standing on tiptoe yearning to see the unveiling or

the evolving of God's glorious sons and daughters.

Why? Because heaven is open over sons

and daughters who carry thy Kingdom.

Within this Jesus demonstrated what it looked like for a man to

walk fully united to God the Father, to walk under an open

heaven. The Bible says that the reason

the Son of God was made manifest was to undo and destroy all the

works of the enemy. So I have good news for you

church, if you are feeling beat down, struck down, there is

nothing that the enemy has done to you that God can't do

something about today. Turn your eyes on Jesus.

Set Jesus Christ back on the throne of your heart, for He has

plans for good to prosper you and not to harm you in Jesus

name. Well, thank you so much for your

time. At this point, I'm going to

invite up a mighty woman of God that's an ordained our ordained

teacher in the house. Effie, please give her a big

round of applause. So I thank you, May God bless

you, may keep you, may his face shine upon you, May he be so so,

so gracious towards you and fill you with total peace as you rest

in him in Jesus name. Thank you so much everybody for

coming today. I'm just so excited to be here

with you and to have the opportunity to praise with you,

to worship with you. We live in a house that

prioritizes praise, that prioritizes worship.

And the beautiful thing about that is it gives us the

opportunity to realign our perspective with the one, with

our Lord and Savior, with Jesus. Praise shifts our mindset.

Praise shifts our position and in turn it shifts our

perspective and it shifts what we see.

And this is so important. A few weeks ago, Pastor Terence

in the Pop Culture series, he was preaching about pupil

opening praise. Literally how praise is designed

to 'cause our pupils to dilate so that we can actually receive

all of what God has for us. So we can let the light in

because these are windows. And So what we allow in and to

make home in our hearts, that's what we release because out of

the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

And So what I want to do is do a little spin off of people

opening praise. And my pop culture for today is

praise over perspective. So first I want to start with a

couple of review points from Pastor Terence directly.

The 1st is you cannot determine what God is doing based on the

bad you are experiencing. Do not allow your circumstances

to sully your perspective. Do not allow your situations to

dilute or pollute your perception.

Too many times we allow our difficult situations to become

the lens that we see life through.

And that can cause us to be bitter and it can cause us to be

offended. And so First things first, I

want to help open your eyes to what's going on.

Do not allow your perspective to cause you to miss the new that

God is trying to bring into you. A lot of times it's actually the

trials and the testing of our faith that produces the good.

It produces the new. It produces the maturity.

So allow your perspective to shift.

Don't see your trial, don't see your thing, don't see your

challenge as a negative thing, but be like God, shift what's

going on in my mind and help me to see this as an opportunity to

mature, as an opportunity to grow, as an opportunity to step

into the new that you have. And if you allow your

perspective to shift, God will do a new thing in your life and

you will come out not only stronger as a person, but with

strong, mature faith. And if we want the Kingdom to

advance, we need to be believers that hold a strong, mature

faith. The Kingdom is built on mature

faith. And so we need to mature as a

church today. Another quote from Pastor

Terrence is God is doing something brand new in your

life. We have to position ourselves to

see it. This is the seasons to start

looking for what you have never seen before.

But if you allow offense to cloud your judgment, you can't

see it. If you allow circumstances to

cloud your vision, you can't see it.

We have to release what was and be open to the new that God is

doing so we can receive everything he has for us.

And here's a little new for you. If we are going to see the new,

we have to shift our perspective to the new.

And the word perspective is super important.

When you break it down, perspective per means through.

And then this base here, which is Latin but spective means to

look. So how many of you have had

glasses, have glasses, have contacts, need glasses?

A lot of us do, right? So our perspective, what God is

wanting to do is give you some new glasses today.

What if I was to, I started wearing glasses at 7 years old.

What if I was to take my little 7 year old glasses and put those

on and try to see with them? My eyes are drastically

different from back then. Not to mention those glasses now

are old. We'll just say that and they're

scratched. I had broken them at one point.

If I'm trying to put on the old to see the new, I won't be able

to see it. My vision is blurry.

There are scratches blocking my way.

My perspective cannot come through.

I need to get a new perspective so I can look through my new

God-given lenses and see clearly the new that's before me.

I need to allow God to give me a new prescription so that I can

perceive everything that He is doing ahead of me and I can then

walk into it. But we have to be aware of what

we look through. Our perspective is the lens that

we see our world through, and we have to see that thing

transformed so that we can see accurately.

Isaiah 43 verse 18 to 19 says, Do not earnestly remember the

Isaiah 43:18–19

former things, those old things, those old glasses, neither

consider the things of old. Behold, I'm doing a new thing

now it springs forth. Do you not perceive it?

Do you not see what's in front of you?

Do not see the new I'm doing. Whoa.

It springs forth. Perceive and know it.

Will you not give heed to it? Will you not give me the

attention I deserve? If you quit focusing on the

things that are before you, on your problems, on your

circumstances, on your little situations, if you would just

lay those things down and put on my vision and see what I'm doing

for you, you'd be able to stand up in a new way.

You would get a new fight. You will get everything that you

need. But we need to lay down what was

before and we need to pick up and put on his eyes for us so we

can see what is coming. Lay it down today, church.

Lay down what was. No longer will we pick up what

was and try to put it on and see it's ineffective.

Today is the day that we mature as the body and we put on God's

eyes, we put on his vision and we allow him to renew our sight

so that we can be transformed because he will even make a way

in the wilderness and rivers in your desert.

Where are you dry? Where do you feel lost?

Where are you wandering? My God, if you would just put on

his eyes for you, He's making ways and the ways aren't just

clear paths. There's water with it, there's

thirst quenching power that comes with it.

So take a drink, a deep drink of the well that God is springing

in front of you. Take hold of what He has for you

today. Church, there is new coming for

you. New is coming for you today.

God is trying to expose your perspective.

He's trying to expose the things that are not of Him and do not

serve you anymore. Quit holding on to them.

Let it go because your perspective determines your

perception and your perception, it takes dependence.

If you're going to perceive what God has for you, you have to

depend on him because he's the only one who can reveal it to

you. If you're not willing to step

into the fullness of what he has for you, if you're not willing

to lay down your own stuff and be like, you know what, God, I

actually just can't. I actually, I actually just

can't do this on my own. And you know what?

I don't get it? I don't see right now.

And you realize that you're blind without him.

Oh, Church, that you would just allow him to give you his

vision, allow him to give you His sight, would transform

everything around you from the way you see yourself to your

circumstances. Your perception takes dependence

on him and your perception. It takes focus and vision.

We need clarity in order to be able to move forward in our life

and what we perceive determines what we can receive.

Even in this room right now, if your perception is out of

alignment, you can't actually receive what the Holy Spirit is

trying to say to you. We need His sight for us so that

we can receive everything He has for us.

And this is super key, the word perceive.

When you break it down, it means to take entirely.

And so back to Isaiah 43 verse 19, he says, don't you perceive

Isaiah 43:19

it? Won't you take it entirely?

Won't you heed what I'm doing? Open your eyes to the new and

receive it completely. And then the word receive means

to take back. And this is the beautiful thing

about our God. We don't have to look back

because when we perceive what he's doing, we can receive all

he has for us and he takes it back for us.

So everything that was lost in the past, he's taken it back.

Everything that was done to us, he's he's already gone and he's

taking revenge for us. We don't have to worry about

that because the victory is in him.

Everything that was lost, everything that was stolen,

everything that we left behind, everything that we laid down.

Do you not perceive that? As you perceive and step into

everything He has, you get to receive all that He has for you,

all that He has for you. Because when we perceive the new

that God is doing and obediently let go of the old, we receive

all of what He has for us. What was, is, and is to come.

That's who my God is. So don't worry about what was

God's doing it. Don't worry about what is right

now God's doing it. Don't worry about what's to

come. God's doing it.

Perceive and receive all that he has for you today.

Church woo. And then Isaiah 43 verse 20, he

Isaiah 43:20

reminds us, I will give waters in the wilderness and rivers in

the desert to give drink to my people, my chosen.

That's us. We're His people, we're his

chosen. Why would he show us stuff if he

does? If we aren't his, we're his

chosen. His set apart the people I

formed for myself, that they may set forth my praise.

This is the reason for our existence is to praise the

living God and our perception. It should move us to praise,

which will transform our perception, which will move us

to praise, which will transform our perception, which will move

us to praise, which will transform our perception, which

will move us to praise, which will transform our perception.

Every time we praise, things change because what ends up

happening is praise is the Word of God.

And when we allow the Word of God to come and infiltrate our

mind, will we allow it to be the thing that we meditate on?

Because that's praise and worship is what we meditate.

When we allow it to be the thing that we think about and repeat

over and over and over again, our mind is literally

transformed. Neural pathways are recreated,

like God actually physically transforms our mind.

And in that we get mental health.

In that we gain peace. In that, we gain greater faith.

That's why he says everything you need is in my presence

because I'm literally doing a new thing down to your biology.

I am transforming the inner workings of your mind.

That's what praise does. And so we need to take whatever

janky old perspective that we had and put it under praise, put

it under the word of the Lord, put it under under joy, put it

under peace, put it under love, put it under everything God is.

Because when we do that, everything changes.

And when our life starts to change, what we say starts to

change, how we walk starts to change, how we talk starts to

change. And you know what that means?

The people around us, they start to change because each one of us

are a drop in this giant pool that we call world population.

But every drop has a ripple effect and it goes out and it

hits the others, which hits others, which hits others, which

hits others. Imagine and sound moves in the

same way sound moves in waves. So every time word is released,

the waves go out and it hits somebody.

Right now the only reason you're hearing is because a sound wave

has gone out and it's actually physically hit and impacted your

eardrum and caused it to vibrate, which then translates

to your brain and you are able to figure out what I'm saying.

Our words have physical impact, transformational impact, and

that is the power of praise. That is the power of worship,

worship and praise. And the Word of God being

released leaves a physical impact on our physical bodies

that causes physical transformation and physical

healing and manifestation of the glory of God and the Kingdom of

heaven here on earth. And so my invitation to you

today is to put your own perspective under your feet and

put a praise on it. Put a praise on it like you have

never praised before. And it doesn't have to be in

church. We aren't going to sing a song

right now. But what I want you to do is

even in your own mind, when thoughts come up, you're like,

Nope, Lord, I'm putting a praise on it.

God, I glorify you. God, I praise you.

God, I thank you. God, I've graced, I have

gratitude towards you. Whatever it is, I'm going to put

that old thing under my feet and put the Word of God on it so

that my perspective will completely transform.

Our perception should move us to praise, and this is a cycle that

should never be broken because this is the kind of cycle that

you put in place when you're breaking cycles and old

bloodlines that the enemy has put in your bloodline before.

You can't just break something off and hope nothing will come.

But the Word says you can cast out a spirit, but if you don't

replace it with something, it'll come back seven times stronger.

So we have to understand when we break cycles in our life, when

we break off things in our bloodline, we have to put a

praise on it. When we break our old

perceptions, we have to put a praise on it because that is our

weapon in how we wage war. That is how we move forward.

That is how we will advance the Kingdom is through praise.

Praise is what keeps us. Praise is what transforms us.

We do not have time to look back any longer.

The world behind the cross before and I won't turn back.

Say that with me. Say the world behind the cross

before and I won't turn back. In Jesus name, help me.

Welcome up, Elder John. But at this point, if you've

watched all of these things, you may ask yourself, these people,

everybody who get up there, they'd be like, thank you

Pastor. Thank you Pastor.

Effie then spoke three times. She's still saying thank you,

pastor each time. Elder John spoke 8 times.

You say thank you, pastor, every time.

Let me talk about that a little bit.

This ain't my time. Let me talk about that.

First off, we're we're we're a House of honor in a nation and

the culture that knows nothing that knows baby, the only honor

is the honor do unto themselves. So we're trying to change

culture number one. Number two, somebody came in

today for the first time. We sang the song, we pointed, we

did the you. That's my part.

That and the falsetto falsetto get some every time.

I'm just saying right, we did that.

So it's the first time they hearing us speak.

So for them, it's a first time saying here and a thank you for

some people who've never known what a pastor is, the gratitude

we show for our pastors helps them understand.

Maybe a pastor is something I need if that if that's if that

what is what it does. I see the gratitude.

Maybe there's something about that, but also too, it

contributes to what I'm talking about regarding momentum.

OK, honor helps maximize momentum.

The Bible says this, that the angels cried holy honor, then

the other Angel began to cry holy honor, then the other Angel

be crying cried holy honor, and the other Angel be cried holy

honor. And they continued honoring God

back and forth to the praise of His glory continually at new

revelations of who God is. One of the things that keeps

momentum in your life is honor. So for us, the privilege to give

honor is important as a house, as a culture, because it helps

keep our momentum and keep our recognition of who God has

established in our presence. And we just thank God that we

got past as worthy of honor, past as worthy of respect, past

as worthy of what recognizing what they've laid down to do in

our lives. And I just wanted to give some

prophetic context to that for those that here.

Amen. Now is my time.

Thank you. So I began this morning.

I encourage you to go take a look at the message this

morning. I'm not going to repeat all of

that. Talking about maximizing

momentum, the question came after 24 hours of prayer on a

Saturday and a whole week of prayer.

How do you keep the momentum of praying?

And so one of the things we talked about this morning is

momentum needs to be kept. Why 24 hours of prayer?

We have maybe 30 people here at sometimes even at 2:00 in the

morning, 3:00 in the morning, 30 people here sinking loud, 30

people. The next time we gather for

prayer, which is last Saturday, we maybe had five or seven,

right? So people need to know how to

keep the momentum in terms of what God is doing.

Amen. Now, I want to tell you this,

even star players got to be coachable.

It's not a condemnation. That's the coaching point,

right? If you feel condemned, that's

you. If you feel convicted, that's

God. If you feel challenged, that's

the that's the anointing on the House to encourage us to grow

more. So I said a few things about

what the momentum is to set up a context for today.

So I'm going to hit on those just a little bit.

One, momentum cannot be conserved or preserved, right?

It's something that goes or comes.

You can't hold it. If you keep it a status quo, you

will lose momentum because things in life, gravity pulls

down. What are those things?

Familiarity. What are those things?

Commonness. What are those things?

Busyness. What are those things?

The flesh as was talked about What?

What are those things that keep you weighed down?

So momentum cannot be conserved or preserved on its own.

It can only increase or decrease.

It only goes up or down. You have to do something with

it. If you left to its own, it will

fizzle out. It also follows a pattern of

load and release. The many times momentum requires

you to do this in order to go forward, right?

To get momentum. You come back, you load and you

release. You don't go backwards, you

load. It's different like what F was

talking about. You don't look back, but you

remember what God is doing, right?

And so you load and that's kind of the cycle She was talking

about the praise and perception. You begin to come back and you

praise, you get momentum to see something new.

So involves load and release. Load and release.

Everyone say load and release. It's designed to overcome

inertia. What's inertia?

It's being stuck right now. Inertia has me stuck here.

OK, Momentum comes to help move you from stuckness to movement,

and the power it takes to move you from stuckness is far

greater than the power it takes to keep you moving.

Better. Said another way, it's harder to

get you to move than it is to keep you moving.

That's why it's important to understand how to maintain and

maximize momentum. Because if you let it go out,

you'll find yourself at a standstill, stuck.

Now you need even more to get unstuck again.

So we talked a little bit about about that and we said it's a

tool for breakthrough, not an end goal.

The purpose of momentum is to give you power to overcome

something, to breakthrough a barrier, breakthrough a wall, or

to overcome a situation. It's an earth tool, not a heaven

tool. And the reason, and this is my,

my take on this, the reason I suggest it is, is because

momentum has direction, OK? It has direction to it and it

has a beginning to it. And anything that has a

beginning to it is an earth thing.

Heaven is run by God who has no beginning and no end.

His peace has no beginning, no end.

His love has no beginning and no end.

So momentum is not something I think we're going to be using in

heaven. We're just going to be

constantly, as if he was talking about constantly in this place

of praising and worshiping, frictionless without being

weighed down by anything. We'll be able to continue praise

night and day because there's nothing pulling us back, nothing

holding us down South. Momentum is a earth thing, so

let's use it. It's a tool.

Let's figure out a way to make the most of it for us, right?

So I want to go today's afternoon's time and say there's

12 keys to maintain, you know, maximizing momentum.

Everyone say 12 keys. We got a lot of keys around

here, right? Today's, today's culture calls

them cheat codes. You got a cheat code.

OK, some things are, are are are heuristic, something that's a

key, something that's easy to remember, something to focus you

as you move forward. So the 12 keys I have for Max,

Max maintaining or maximizing momentum, The first key is to

ask the Lord, I want to maintain momentum from that prayer time

on, on Saturday, 24 hours. The 1st way you learn to

maximize or maintain momentum and say, Lord, how do I maintain

momentum in this? Because the Lord knows what you

need to do to be at or how you need to respond to maintain the

momentum that you need. What is needed for her to

maintain be be different than what's needed for him to

maintain. And the Lord knows and sometimes

the Lord says it's a you need to ask me these three questions.

Sometimes it's not an action, it's a question because your

question sparks desire. Desire, as was talked about

earlier, leads to further questions.

Questions leads God's to uncovering himself and show what

she got that question. Let me show you who I am in that

area, OK? Ask the Lord.

Everyone say ask the Lord. That's always a good first step

in anything. Just about it anyway.

Just don't want to let you know #2 target something bigger than

you. So for the rest of the time, I

want to reference First Samuel 17.

I'll ask to go to some scripture sometimes, or I just speak from

them. I'm giving you the chapter so

you can study on your own. First Samuel 17 one, it's the

story about David and Goliath. So first Samuel 17 chapter verse

four says this. Then a champion from Gath called

Goliath stood up. Goliath was bigger than

everybody. How many of y'all think you got

a big head in here? I got a big head when I was

graduating from 12th grade. The cap and gown company, they

had to go back and send for the extra wide for my head.

OK, that's a fact. So Goliath was bigger.

The glass represent it more than just the size of a man.

You represent a a an embarrassment of of the people

of God and the Kingdom. It was Kingdom fights, not just

army fights. One of the ways you maximize or

increase momentum is target something bigger than you.

It will keep you asking questions.

It would keep you out of your comfort zone when you are only

dealing with issues that are small.

As you it is easier to lose your momentum.

I don't need momentum to do base to brush my teeth, but I do need

momentum to figure out how to give good dentistry to the

poorest nations in the world. That's bigger than me.

I can't do that on my own. OK, so target something bigger

than you. Remember what's at stake for

you. Everyone say, remember what's at

stake. David said this the men of

Israel, this is first Samuel 17, verse 25.

1 Samuel 17:25

The men of Israel said, have you seen this man who's coming up?

Surely he's coming up to defy Israel.

The king will reward the man who kills them with great riches and

will give him his daughter in marriage and make his father's

house free from taxes and service in Israel.

Then David spoke to the man who was standing by him.

What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and

removes the disgrace of his taunting from Israel?

For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he has taunted

and defied the armies of the living God?

The men told him this is what will be done for the man who

kills them. When you know what's in it for

you, helps keep you motivated, helps keep your momentum.

If you don't think there's nothing in it for you, your

momentum dies. If you don't think coming to

prayer on Saturday is going to do something for you, it's easy

to fill your calendar with other stuff, including sleep.

If you don't think this, this remnant project we're doing in

this place over here, it's not going to do something for you.

It's easy to fall asleep on it. If you think there's nothing in

it for you, then it's harder to maintain your momentum.

But when you know there's something in it for you, however

you define you, whether it's me individually, my generation, my

bloodline, my family, there's got to be something in it for

you. And I encourage you to

investigate those things that helps maintain momentum,

Redeclare the past victories. David goes on to say this to

Saul. Killed the lion, killed the

bear. He rehearsed the past victories

to give him momentum for the fight ahead.

OK. But then only you have to

rehearse the past victories. That's one thing.

But you also have to rehearse redeclare.

When I rehearse, I would say redeclare, redeclare the past

victories. You also have to redeclare the

God of the past victories. It's one thing to say the lion

and the bear. It's something else to say the

God who gave them to me is the same God going to give me you.

That's different. Your victory goes old, God bless

me with the car. The car dies, the car gets old,

it depreciates. But the God who provided for me

in my need to go where I needed to go, that same God is going to

keep me going wherever else I need to go.

The God of your victory never dies.

So you got to redeclare, redeclare, that redeclare.

You got to open your mouth and say some things.

Praise perception we were talking about and that 24 hours

of prayer put it practical. There were some topics we went

over during that time of prayer. First slide of topics begins

with return. So let's make it practical.

How do I build momentum out of 24 hours of prayer?

You load up. God, I thank you that we did

return. I thank you that we did cry out

to you. I thank you God, I have no more

excuses. I thank you, God that I am

excelling. I thank you.

I'm loading for that momentum. Now that's loading on the

victory. Now that's practice loading on

the God of the victory. I thank you that the God who

excelled me is excelling everyone else that I know.

The God who excelled me in that 24 hours is excelling My city to

salvation is excelling my family to deliverance is excelling this

church to unity. The God who did that for me on

that 24 hours, The God opened my eyes in that 24 hours.

I'll get it. So you know a lot of topics, you

got to remember what was done. You got to remember your

identity as well. David says to Saul, Saul, I

can't fight your armor, bro. It's not going to work.

I got to be who I am. So how do you keep momentum in

prayer being you don't try to pray like me.

Pray like you. Pray from your life, pray from

your testimony, pray from what God's done in your own life.

You don't have to be loud like me.

The Godfather. The godfather said this.

I'm gonna make your offer. I could not refuse.

He was quiet, but he was bold. Bold can be loud.

Bold can be soft, but be bold. And whatever you are in how you

pray, Amen. Remember your idea to simplify

your focus. Davis said I'm going to get fire

stones. That's all I need, fire stones.

And out of that five, I'm going to get one.

How do you keep momentum from praying 24 hours?

God, we prayed about one thing from the 24 hours.

I'm going to focus on that for the next two weeks.

I'm going to simplify my focus. I'm not going to trade or get

momentum from everything we prayed about in the 24 hours.

I'm going to pick one thing and I'm going to focus on that.

Focus on thanking you for that. Focus on remembering the God who

did it for me is the God's doing it for someone else.

I'm going to focus. Simplify your focus.

Boldly declare the God you knew into your now.

Boldly declare the God you knew into your now.

So David talked to Saul and said, Lion and the bear.

The God would deliver me from this one too.

But then he went and began to talk to the Philistine, and this

is what he said. Verse 20, verse 45, put that one

up. This is what he said.

He, he, he declared, boldly declared to God he knew into

his. Now he gave the testimony to

Saul. But now I'm facing Goliath.

And then David said to the Philistine, You come at me with

a sword and a spear and a javelin, but I come to you in

the name of the Lord of hosts whom you have defied.

And this day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I

will smite you and cut off, cut you off from the earth.

And I will smite you, cut off your head.

And I will give the corpses of the army of the Philistines this

day to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth,

that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

Boldly declare the God that you knew into your right now He

bolded up to stretch forth in confidence and in prayer that

God's going to do and B who he said he was going to do.

And B you got to advance with urgency.

Scripture says David ran towards Goliath.

He didn't back up and once he ran it through the through the

rock and he was down, he ran to get over them.

So you got to advance with urgency, but you also got to

continue with urgency. And as you do, you reach a place

of rest. The scripture says David stood

over Goliath, and it's in that place of rest.

And in victory, he took the sword, cut off his head.

Declaring your victory transfers the momentum to others.

Declaring the victory of what was won through 24 hours of

prayer will transfer momentum to others.

Hey, Mark, guess what God did for me in 24 hours of prayer?

Guess what he said? Guess what he moved?

Guess how he blessed? Guess how my family's changed

because how the church is going now he's getting the momentum.

I'm declaring my victory. I'm taking the head of my

enemies and saying, see, I got me a head boy, go get you one.

And now he's getting excited about how can I get to some of

that when we going through 24 again?

You ain't got to wait again. You can start right now.

You can 20 before on your own if you want to.

Ain't nobody holding you back. Maximizing and maintaining your

momentum is essential, particularly in prayer.

And my prayer is that Father may that which was spoken as led by

your spirit today, activating your people to maintain and

maximize the momentum we gain through prayer.

But in every other area of life, in Jesus name, Amen.

Attracting me and doing it in love and for standing where the

new me was until I could stand there for myself.

Thank you so much. Thank you for this opportunity

to partner with you and what God is saying through you in this

house for this community. I don't take it lightly and I

love you and I miss you. What an alley oop.

Here's the thing fam, you can't evolve.

You cannot evolve with momentum and a new perspective unless you

know Jesus. You cannot evolve with momentum

and a new perspective without knowing Jesus.

Today we're taking a journey towards enough and abolishing

everything that is anti enough. So we stand here today and we

say enough is enough, enough is enough.

The slide is going to come up in a second.

Enough is enough. Who's ever been frustrated by

something? Family contention?

Maybe you're frustrated at work. Maybe the wrestle that you've

had with God, you're just so fed up and you're just like, enough

is enough. And let me tell you, God is

saying the same thing to you. He's saying enough is enough.

My desire is to get you to enough is enough.

Settled, resolved, convicted. Romans 81 says this.

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ.

And because you belong to Him, the power of the living Spirit,

the life giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that

leads to death. In the AMP it says, therefore,

there is now no condemnation, no guilty verdict, no punishment

for those who are in Christ Jesus, who believe in him as

personal Lord and Savior. The enemy is after you're in

Christ Ness and he is doing it through condemnation.

If the enemy can attack you and keep you unsettled, then he also

keeps everyone else around you unsettled and wavering and

tossed to and fro. And we are called to soul win.

And in order to soul win, we need to be convicted and

confident that we are his, that He is ours, and that we are

enough. So say this with me.

Say enough is enough, my unsettled days are settled.

Why do we yearn for more and think we aren't enough when

enough lives in us? So enough here, Capital EM

referring to Jesus. Why?

Why do? We yearn for more and we think

we're not enough. There's plenty of people in the

Bible that actually demonstrate that Jesus to them was more than

enough. The woman with the issue of

blood, she's just like, I don't even need to have a conversation

with you. I don't need you to pray for me.

I don't even need you to speak to me.

You are so enough that all I need to do is touch the hem and

I know that I'm going to be healed and it's so can we go to

the next slide? There we go.

And it's so interesting because the story of Jay Iris's daughter

happens directly after it's actually on the way to that

moment. And Jay Iris is just like, OK,

well, now she's dead. So now there's no hope.

And Jesus is like, I'm enough. She's not dead.

She's just sleeping to leave the comb little girl get up.

And she would she did you see with the woman with the

alabaster jar, We see with the woman with two mites, the

centurion who's like, just send your word.

I know it's enough. You don't even need to go.

Just send your word. We see it with Mary, Mary and

Martha, where Martha was like so busy with life and Mary was just

there knowing that Jesus was enough.

That is the Lord's desire for us today, to abolish anything that

is anti enough and to know that we know that we know that He is.

We live in the world but are not of the world and we mustn't let

the distractions of the world keep us from remembering our

enough. There is a difference between

knowing He's enough and letting Him be enough.

It's very different. So how do we let him be enough?

We have to give him access to every area of our life.

Not just the Sundays, not just the midweek Wednesdays, not just

when we're at worship rehearsal, not just when we're at a coffee

discipling someone. We have to give him access to

every area of our life. That's our finances, our

relationships, our workplace, when we're doing homework for

school, every area He needs to be lured because there there is

revelation of who you are when you give him access to you, and

you also let him be enough when you quieten the other voices.

Galatians 5 says this. You are running the race so

well. Who has held you back from

following the truth? It certainly isn't God, for He

is the one who called you to freedom.

This false teaching is like a little yeast that spreads

throughout the whole batch of dough.

Next slide when you're ready. There we go.

I am trusting the Lord to keep you from believing false

teachings. God will judge that person,

whoever it is who has been confusing you.

When we let Him be enough, we are enough.

And it's not something we need to strive for.

It is something that we are because He is.

He created us in His image and likeness.

So we don't even have to do anything to earn enough.

We just are enough. What we need to do is remove the

scales from our eyes to actually receive that revelation.

Deuteronomy 29, five to six is this.

I took you through the wilderness for 40 years and

through all the time, all that time the clothes on your back

didn't wear out, the sandals on your feet didn't wear out, and

you lived well, proving to you that I am in fact God, your God.

If He dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor, how much

more is going to clothe you? If He watches over every

Sparrow, how much more does He love you?

What more do you need church to receive the love of God and know

that you're enough? What is it going to take?

He's demonstrated and proven that He is enough.

If we believe that He is the same God now as He was back then

and the God that is to come, enough is enough.

It's really hard to sell Jesus if you don't even think he's

enough. So you sell him as an option.

This one hit me when Pastor Terrence said it in this sermon.

Enough back in March, I believe it was.

I was like, oh, OK. And then God said to me, because

if you sell them as an option, options breed confusion.

And confusion leads to unsettled and unsatisfied.

Always. It always does.

And when you're unsettled and unsatisfied, that leads to

lukewarmness. And so you can't win first your

own soul, and you can't win the souls that God has ordainedly

connected you to when you're unsettled and unsatisfied.

Psalm 42 says this. I love it.

It's the dear pants longingly desire for the water brooks.

So my soul pants longingly desire for you, O God, my soul,

my life, my inner self thirsts for God, for the living God.

When will I come and see the face of God?

Question. Your level of desire will always

lead to questions. Elder John said that so

eloquently yesterday in Prayer Sun Shameless plug, you should

all come to prayer. It's incredible.

Your level of desire will always lead to questions.

It's a sonship issue. It's an identity issue.

When you ask the right questions, it will always lead

to sonship being inquiring of your father.

You see this with little kids. Why, why, why?

Now the why, why, why I make it a little irritating.

I don't know. I don't have kids, but I do have

a niece and nephew. But the fact that they're asking

questions should demonstrate to you a desire, their desire.

Now, if you don't have questions or you're asking the wrong

questions, that's what leads to confusion.

OK, so if you don't have questions, that makes sense.

That leads to confusion because of the inertia.

You're saying stagnant. You're still there's no momentum

moving you forward towards Christ, but you might be going.

OK, well pastor, do what are wrong questions?

I don't even know what that means.

Here's some examples. Why them not me?

How come I can't do the things that they that they do the way

that they do them? Why is my hair brown and not

blonde? Why are my feet a size 9 instead

of a size 8? Here's one for you that I used

to ask myself or ask God all the time.

Why didn't you give me these beautiful green eyes that you

gave my brother and my father, and instead you gave me these

ordinary brown eyes that you gave my mom?

Why, why, why, why, why all of these questions that are the

wrong questions to ask. And I'm going to flip the

conversation because you could be saying why them?

Not me, but you could also be saying why me and not them.

I don't have a song inside of me.

I can't pray like the pastors and the elders.

Why are you calling me the children's ministry when I don't

even have kids? I think someone better fit for

that ministry would be someone who has children.

They should be the ones serving in that ministry.

These are all questions that count yourself out and they

always lead to confusion. And so if you're having these,

this conversation in your head, this is what you need to abolish

because this conversation is as if to say you're not enough and

that God made you incomplete. He did not make you incomplete.

He made you fearfully and wonderfully made.

That's where you need to get to a place to instead of there's

something wrong with me. It's like, OK, God, you made me

this way. Why?

You said it's enough. Why?

What do you have for me from that perspective?

Here is a beautiful example of sonship.

Matthew 11 says this. Jesus resumed talking to the

people, but now tenderly. The Father has given me all

these things to do and say. This is a unique Father, Son

operation coming out of the Father and Son intimacies and

knowledge. No one knows the Son the way the

Father does, nor the Father the way the Son does.

But I'm keeping, but I'm not keeping it to myself.

I'm ready to go over it line by line with anyone who is willing

to listen. Scripture says we have

everything we need in life for life and godliness.

But the other part of that scripture says through the

knowledge of Him, we know who we are.

Through the knowledge of Him, our enoughness comes from the

knowledge of Him. There is a worship team you can

come up. There is a level of who you are

that can only be unlocked in the letting Him be enough.

I'm gonna say that again. There is a level of who you are

that can only be unlocked in the letting him be enough.

When you know he's enough, you'll know he made you enough.

That's it. That's it.

His enoughness is a key. His enoughness is a key, and it

is key. His enoughness is a key, and it

is key if the enemy can keep you from not believing.

But knowing Jesus is enough, you remain.

Wanderer and Wanderers are intertwined in cycles of

unsettleness, confusion, being tossed to and fro, lukewarmness.

And it is a cycle that repeats itself, and the Lord wants to

abolish that today. Enough means incurring in such

quantity, quality, or scope is to fully meet demands, needs, or

expectations. And another definition says this

in, in, or to a degree or quantity that satisfies or that

is sufficient or necessary for satisfaction.

We sing songs all the time that Jesus is sufficient.

Jesus, you're enough. When are we actually going to

believe that? And I'm not saying that you

don't, but I'm offering it as a question for you to ask

yourself, Do I really believe it when I'm standing here

worshiping the Lord and saying Jesus, you're enough, you'll

always be enough, you've always been enough, Jesus, you're

enough. Do we believe that?

Why do you struggle with the Lord being enough for you when

He has always only said you're enough for me?

We don't have to do anything to earn Jesus.

We don't have anything to that. We don't need to do anything to

earn our enoughness. He has already said we're enough

and it is our job to believe it and receive it.

To move from knowing to believing it, to letting Him be

enough because enough is enough. Amen.
