Wonder Wednesday: Living Under an Open Heaven: Part 1 (Pastor Terrance)

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

It's go time. Let's get into it.

So I think it was Friday or Saturday.

I went to do a wedding and over over.

On the island. And my wife and I was having

lunch right before the wedding. She went upstairs and as I was

sitting there, it was like husband and wife and a little

boy. He had to be maybe like 5,

something like that. And he was playing like little

kids do. Parents are talking.

A little kid just kind of entertaining itself.

It was a moment he said holy, but he said it in the cadence of

the song, the melody of the song.

I was like Nah and. He was like, holy there is.

And he was just joking around and he was just kicking around

and rolling around in the chair and I didn't look back. 5

minutes went by. Holy and he's just.

Beginning to grip my heart because I'm like, then I look

back and I saw him. He was just singing it while he

was playing holy, like really loud in public.

If it was an adult, you would have told your friend to be

quiet. But you can't enter the Kingdom.

And I look at us sometime in service and we're just like,

holy, here's a little kid. That's why he says don't, don't,

don't mess with my kids holy. And that's all he said.

And so I was just like, and he sang a little bit more dear and

like he, he could barely speak straight, but he was that

melody. And then I couldn't find the

lyrics because Sunday I was going to come up here and sing

it because it hit my spirit so strong.

And so I went to look up the lyrics and I thought it was

build, build, build your church. But I knew it was build

something, but it's built my life.

And then today it it hit my spirit again.

I'm like, and it's Sunday. I just completely forgot the

melody. And when he was singing it, I

was sitting in my chair and I was I was Lord just said, listen

to those lyrics like sing, get those lyrics in your spirit.

And once you put those lyrics back up, these two series that

we are on and one we're about to start tonight is absolutely for

me personally, I don't know about you, but life changing.

It says holy, there is no one like you.

There is none beside you. This is the key part.

And you're going to hear this thing tonight.

Open up my eyes. Not just any kind of way.

Don't just open my eyes for what I want to see.

Open up my eyes and wonder and show me who you are and feel me.

No wonder you didn't let me get them worse tonight.

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I see you, vibes.

I see you. And show me who you are and feel

me in your love. Feel me in your love to those

around me. And then it goes to this

beautiful bridge I will build my life upon.

It is, you know, I was thinking about

something. When I was thinking, I was

thinking about, I was like, there is absolutely no sound

like worship music. None like like, like the

melodies that God has preserved for his intimacy.

There is no sound. Like like you can't give me a

R&B song. You can't give me no sound.

That sounds like a worship song. Now you can give me sound songs

in other genres that come close to like gospel or some of the

more pop. Sound of Christian music but

when it comes to worship songs like like give me I will build

my life and. Come on.

So lyrics aside, God has giving you melodies that only move him.

Go, go sing. Go sing this song in the store.

Just hum it. What should what what should

every worship song do? At least I don't know at least

some of the ones we sing like they should move you closer.

Let's let's, let's, let's get in this word tonight.

Father, open the eyes of our hearts.

I can't speak for nobody else, but I want to see you.

But then there's a part of me that feels kind of elementary

saying I want to see you because the song we just said is there's

evidence all around. And I was going to read a minute

ago, Genesis, he says now it is finished.

And he rested. The evidence of heaven is all

around. That's you.

And it's crazy. We look at the mountains and the

seas and we're like, wow. But when's the last time you

looked in the mirror and was like, wow, before you put makeup

on, before you lose that weight, you like, wow because it wasn't

finished. The oceans, the seas, the the,

the mountains, the trees. It wasn't finished until you was

created. Amen.

Let's that go over people's heads.

Hallelujah. Lord give us eyes to see and

ears to hear tonight in Jesus name, Amen.

Hallelujah. Y'all can sit down.

I am not fooling with y'all tonight, Hallelujah.

I would, I would advise you to take off, not take off, but to

take out notebook, recorder something.

More than anything, I pray that you open your heart, open your,

your, your eyes to see. Father, we thank you tonight for

eyes to see and ears to hear. We come against the spirit of

error. And we just declare, Lord, that

if error tries to creep in, it will be exposed.

I thank you, Father, for your anointing upon Your servant.

And I thank you, Father, that this message will be preached

with simplicity, power, clarity, and anointing.

Holy Spirit, I need you to deliver your word, so I

surrender to you now in Jesus name, Amen.

Amen. Before I left, I said I remember

it was a Wednesday night and I believe the Lord just kind of

touched me and was just like, son, my people.

I miss the days where people knew how to walk with me.

I miss the days where people really passionately pursued me

and we got to understand that times have only gotten busier.

Are y'all with me today? Do we need to have some warfare?

Prayer and we good. All right, times are.

Busier. Nothing we can do about that.

Distractions. Are.

Easy to come by. You wake up.

We are tempted by distraction. What's that distraction?

Phone, emails, computers, food for us, when the sun come out,

we're distracted by the sun. The sun is a distraction here in

British Columbia, right? And then social media has opened

a door to so many. I was telling my son the other

day, you do understand that our brain is a processor, right?

So it's a processor like if you see that little beach ball on

the computer when you when it's kind of overwhelmed, overloaded,

it's trying to process. And whether you process it or

not intentionally, everything you see your brain is

processing. So every time you scrolling, it

doesn't matter if you stop, it's processing.

And there's things that your mind is processing that you're

not aware that you're processing and you wonder why you respond

to pressure the way you do. You wonder why someday you just

wake up and why do I feel depressed?

We're not great at watching over our soul.

We're not great at guarding our hearts.

We just kind of live. And when we pray, it's like

we're sending mail. Prayer is less about communion

and more about sending requests. Am I talking to anybody tonight?

I ain't got deep yet, OK? So talk to me because it's going

to be a time where you really need to be quiet, OK?

And, and, and it's like the world is getting darker and

darker and it's not going to get lighter.

It's prophesied the world is going to get grossly dark.

But the word says that the glory of the Lord will be up on his

children. So the darkness is is in a sick

way good news because Malachi talks about, and I may deal with

it Sunday at the end in chapter four or something like that,

Malachi talks about this separation happening.

And we often think, Natalia, the separation is the church in the

world. The world is already separated.

The separation is the real Saints from the fake ones.

It's from the sons and daughters.

So the slaves you are about to get exposed.

If you got a bumper sticker Christian and you ain't walking

the walk. How will you get exposed?

Fire pressure is coming to test your house and let me that's why

he said if you put the blood on your doorpost, the death Angel

will what pass by. You can't fool pressure.

You can't fool the enemy. The separation is between the

Saints and the ants. The world is already separated.

He's calling. The reason why the separation

needs to happen is before he comes, he has to remove the he

has to remove the he has to remove the confusion from our

witness. So y'all Luke warm ones going to

be completely looking like God ain't with you.

Oh, that sounds mean. No, you got your ticket to

heaven. That's all you want, right?

And then you want to find out what you can recreationally get

away with. So He's going to give us away to

our carnality. But those that are really

obedient and following the Lord and walking, walking with Him

and have eyes to see him, we're going to see glory.

Psalm 91 ain't for every believer.

It's for ones who abide under the shadow.

It ain't for the ones who out there just tricking away and

doing what they want to do, go on and party and club and

fornicate and do what you want to do.

Kristen, you got your pass to heaven.

But when it goes down, when it goes down, there's a separation

happening between the tares and the weed.

So when we it was very important.

I feel he was like I, I need just like the generational know

about the power of the blood. That's why the blood series in

this church long time ago was such a powerful series 'cause we

we talk about the blood, plead the blood.

How you plead the blood. Well, go listen to the series

and you can find out right, right.

How do you plead the blood? What's the open heaven?

We say it, what's walking with God?

We hear these things, we hear these things, but how many of us

really asked what does that mean?

Because I really want to walk with God.

I'm sorry, but our God, Jehovah, he not some trick, he not some

play of play out here. We about to just just manipulate

and get our way. He like cool you receive Jesus

awesome the blood got you a pass you gone you you good you you

will you will see king Jesus and you will live an eternal life.

But heaven on earth you will not inherit the Kingdom like like

like I think it's super dope. We can walk in dominion when we

need it versus when we don't. Oh oh y'all didn't hear what I

just said when Jesus returned and we all exist in eternity.

Ain't no need for dominion. Ain't no devil to defeat.

Ain't no victory to walk in. Ain't no walk by faith.

You don't need faith. When we crossover, it's over.

We're just in like like like like like.

Adam didn't need faith. He didn't need to defeat nothing

until he let defeat in Hallelujah.

PT when when when we hear open heaven, when we hear words like

I'm a poor when we hear open heaven, Elder John, we think of

I'm a pour you out a what? Oh so me I know more of y'all

know that. Scripture.

I'm gonna pour you out of what? That you will not have what

room? Enough to what?

Receive. When we hear open heavens, we

think he's going to pour us out of what blessing.

When we hear open heaven, we think of Jacob's ladder.

Oh, this transaction, Look it up.

We just thought the department store haven't opened up.

Blessing. Oh, blessing.

Oh, blessing. Oh, blessing.

When we hear open heaven, we think of blessings.

Well, I guess Kevin Hart and everybody living under all

Beyoncé living under open heaven, all if if open heaven is

based on things. So what we doing because some of

it look like like you don't look like just having.

Clothes it look like over some art Lies it look like it's shut

like like abandoned building to live under an open heaven.

It's less about favor and it's more about fervor.

It's less about blessings and it's more about the blessing.

It's less about inviting and more about involving.

Let me let me. Inviting God versus involving

God is different. If I involve Him in all my ways,

acknowledge Him in all my ways, I don't invite him, I abide with

Him. I don't invite my wife home.

We abide together. I don't invite my wife to bed.

We are involved, understand? Amen.

Somebody say Amen. Less about soaking, let's soak

in the presence of God. And it's more about surrender.

It's these acts that we do that we think make us closer to God.

Give me some pads. The Spirit of the Lord is here

knowing not them pads, those pads anointed or those paths

play with your emotions. The music tells you what to

feel. It's less about abounding church

and it's more about abiding. It's less about you.

Ready. This is going to mess with you a

little bit. You ready?

Amen. It's less about God seeing you,

and you'll see this later. An open heaven is less about God

seeing you, and it's more about you seeing God.

Somehow the evidence of an open heaven has become how blessed I

am, how much God is moving, and how much I can feel His

presence. Somehow open heaven has become

about encounters. Well, according to Moses, we

can't handle encounters non-stop like that.

So how do we exist with God without being slain all the

time, without having to cast demons out all the time?

You get what I'm saying? Like there's these things that

have become God is here. I'm going to talk to anybody

today. I'm not talking to anybody

today. Amen.

OK, Walking with God now looks like a land life, an obedient

life, and an abundantly fruitful life, a loaf.

It's a life that is LED, It's a life that is obedient, and it is

an abundantly fruitful Life. OK, an open heaven doesn't look

like a pinata, but it resembles rivers and streams of living

water ready flowing from you, not merely to you.

Oh, what we going to discover is an open heaven is less about

what's coming to me and what's coming out of me.

Come on, it was in my hellish days.

It looked like heaven was open. I mean hell was open and not

heaven. You want to know what an open

heaven is? Practically open your mouth

according to the Bible. Life and death is in the power

of my tongue. Here he says open your mouth

wide and I will feel it. Heaven.

All right, let me back it up. Let me back it up.

Do we want to live under an open heaven or live for open doors?

All right, all right. Are you with me, Caleb?

Are you with me? Are you with?

Me, you don't got to put no, I'm saying, you know what I'm

saying. I got to just find a few people

who's pulling on the anointing and then I'm just going to

preach to you so the flow don't stop.

OK, do we want to live under an open heaven or live for open

doors? My God, do we want to live under

an open heaven or live for open doors?

Now what I feel in the room is some people are like what's

wrong with both here very closely.

We more so live looking for open doors, opportunities,

breakthrough versus living like a citizen.

What side is the open door? Am I answering the knocks or am

I always knocking? Am I in the house or am I out

the house? We got to move from bombarding

heaven and worshiping about an open door and come to a place

where my eyes are open, that I'm saved, I'm delivered, I'm

healed, I'm the redeemed, I'm in the house.

The prodigal son was like he came to himself and realized now

I got to go back home knocking when I was the one opening the

door. Now I'm the one having to asked

for an open door because I didn't understand whose I was.

K walking Dominion. Dominion don't sound like this.

Where where where you Somebody, somebody got some keys.

Somebody got some keys? Dominion don't sound like this.

Dominion sound like this. Am I talking to anybody?

Which side of the door do you live on?

Heaven came to earth because men saw heaven on earth despite

their circumstances. We'll say it again.

Heaven came to earth because men saw heaven on earth despite

their circumstances. Like even if God don't get in

the furnace with me, I'm a still praising and then because of

that level of faith and knowing God, guess who showed up in the

fire? Heaven.

But heaven was on the other side of their face.

Stuff like though they slay me yet will I or 1000 may fall by

my side 10,000 at my right hand, but not but understand he

understands I am in the house so nothing can penetrate the the

the the the the the bound of the Almighty because I'm in the

house. So heaven, OK heaven is a part

of my perception. It's a part of my sight God got

there ain't no more heaven coming because God shut God's

here. You can look every Sunday, every

Wednesday, different people having different experiences and

different people are responding to the presence of God.

And some people like what they doing, the Christians, what they

doing, they come to this church. And we met somebody at a wedding

the other day that met us already.

And they came to our church a few times and it was like, yeah,

we go to a conservative church. We go to it.

And if you're watching, Amen. That was a great testimony here.

We go to a conservative church. But when I come to your church,

I came alive. I'm like, well, why you don't

keep coming? Why are you not going to come?

Where are you going to come alive and your, your eyes are

open, she said. So when we're worshiping and

when we're leading you, we're saying put our hands and put our

hands up. We're trying to help your eyes

open. I'm sorry if we get on your

nerves, but we're trying to help your eyes open.

Because if your eyes can't get open, then when this word come,

it's got to go through too much to get to the soul of your

heart, right? Praise and worship is about

tilling the soul of your heart. So when this seed get planted,

it goes in deep. So when you leave, the devourer

won't take the seed. You ready?

Look, look, look, look at, look at this mindset.

Heaven comes to earth because men saw heaven on earth despite

their circumstances. Jesus mindset like this,

although it's only two fish and five loaves.

Bring it here. I'm gonna pray over it.

I see everyone fed. Can I talk to this side?

Over here? I see everyone fed.

So then the God responds to your sight.

I know you can heal me if I could just touch the him and his

garments. See, that's why when somebody's

like man, I'm going to fail and then then say you're right, you

are going to fail. Why?

Because you see yourself as a failure.

Call, call those, he say, call those things that be not as

though they what were right. What's impossible with man is

possible with God. This man got a thorn in his side

and he says this, he says, oh, when I'm weak, he's strong.

It was, it was God resisting putting a pacifier in his mouth

for him to come into the revelation that God's not going

to pacify you because he wants to be your stronghold.

So it wasn't until God, after three times of saying, can you

take this storm, that he says, oh, your grace is sufficient.

So it's when I'm weak, you want to show out.

I just got to be OK with being weak.

Ready. Wrong with being weak?

Something's wrong Without having faith, Can I be weak knowing

he's able? Am I talking to you?

Look at this here the art. Of walking with God.

It's the arch We we all, we all. Heard about the the footsteps

right when God's carrying us and then we just see his footsteps,

right Some people got that in their house somewhere or on a

bookmark or something and we. We see God carrying us.

The art of walking with God. I'm going to say this for

myself. Oh, Lord, I want to walk with

you on a higher level. I want to know how to walk with

my father. And that's why sermons like the

orphan spirit and things of that nature.

And, and it's so important because if you've never learned

how to be a son or daughter, it's going to be hard to be any

other godly role because all the roles come out of sonship.

The Art of. Walking with God, I want you to

see here, living under an open heaven.

Come on, say that with me living under an open heaven.

Open heaven doesn't look like a pinata, but it resembles rivers

and streams of living water flowing from you, not merely to

you. Luke 3 says this now when all

the people were baptized, you're with me.

And when Jesus also had been baptized, and while he was

still, what? Praying somebody say the

visible, Shout it out. The visible one more time.

The visible. The visible heaven was what?

Open? The what?

Visible somebody say visible, visible 2nd heaven.

The clouds were cracked open, and the Holy Spirit descended

upon him in bodily form like a dove.

And a voice came from heaven saying You are my son, my

beloved in you I am well pleased and find what delight pause a a

visible heaven was what open you ever you ever outside you like

man Look at that cloud that look like an Angel.

Thank you, thank you. Or that cloud look like you ever

looked in the cloud and it and it's somehow 4 minutes shaped

like something, right? And you saw in the visible

heavens some type of shape, right.

So there is some activity that's happening in the physical realm

to let people know that something abnormal is happening.

OK, the heavens open and a voice that is invisible comes out the

sky, speaking to not John the Baptist.

Speaking to who? Jesus.

This message is very important because right after it he goes

into a season of temptation and trial.

Prior to the Holy Spirit leading him into the wilderness, the

Father affirms him. Prior to whether he heard the

message or not, he was on his way into a season of temptation.

I don't know about you, but this blessing to be able to hear is

priceless. I guarantee you that he'd much

rather have heard this starved and be in some busted up shoes

and outfit and had no food than to be fitted, pleased and

everything everybody not hearing his affirmation because we're in

our seasons of temptation that are inevitable looking good.

We got friends, we got likes, we got followers, but we don't got

affirmation and there is no season of temptation or trial or

struggle that prior to going into it.

God wasn't trying to beef your confidence of he he wasn't

trying to invite the church. Hey, for three months we teach

it on faith and then guess what? Phone going ring.

Hey can we get a wisdom session PT You know what I'm going to do

forward to Spotify? Because you are never going to

go into a season of trying trial in temptation without God prior

to arming you. What you see, we see an open

heaven there. In that open heaven I didn't see

blessings on blessings on blessings.

I saw something very vital and simple, the heavens open and God

said I love you. Ain't no heaven open to you if

you came here. You are loved.

If you haven't, if you haven't a hard time hearing God loves you,

believing it, receiving it, and being free from man's opinion,

you came here. Everything else will be twisted.

This man went into the wilderness for 40 days, 40

nights, hallucinating and all his response?

Was for it is written before it is written that boy hit the

devil one more time with the for it is written.

And then this time he added something else.

Get behind me, right? You understand this.

This is the get behind me in the spirit because this was what

happened. This is what happened.

The enemy. The Bible says the enemy left

him alone. You got to see this and he

waited on the side for another opportune time.

So in the meantime, what if Jesus got out the wilderness and

just start goofing around? Woo got out that season, Boy,

I'm a overcomer. I'm a overcomer.

I ain't got to go to church that much.

What do you you need me when I'm booking stuff on Sunday?

What you need? I'm a overcomer.

The Lord is with me. Devil come back.

He's like, oh, the devil's not going to stop me.

Just waiting for another opportune time, right?

You supposed to go from glory to glory in the strength, You

supposed to get stronger and stronger faith to fake glory to

glory. Strength, strength after

strength, strength after strength.

Not just blessing on blessing on blessing on blessing.

What about strength on strength on strength on strength new on

new on new on new. The voice came from heaven.

Somebody shout out open heaven. Look at this.

Now upon hearing I will go back, let me go back, let me go back.

So the same Holy Spirit that led Jesus into the wilderness is the

same Holy Spirit that walked with Jesus through the

wilderness. It's very important to write

down and understand how do I know the Holy Spirit walked with

Jesus through the wilderness? Because when he was out of it,

he brought to remembrance the word Jesus told us.

He says Holy Spirit is coming and he will bring to your

remembrance everything I told you when you, when you speak the

word, you release the Spirit at seven say open heaven.

Now, upon hearing these things, they, they, the Jews, were cut

to the heart and infuriated, and they ground their teeth against

Stephen. This was this Deacon.

Deacon Rona, keep on preaching. Deacon Roger, keep on parking

cars. They hot at the Gospel.

They hot that in the midst of darkness deception in bondage

people are getting set free. Look, look, look, look, look,

look they hot and and and and they ready to stone him look but

he say but he full of the Holy Spirit and what?

Come on, talk to me and what? This is very important.

This is very important. Full of the Holy Spirit and

what? Controlled by Him, gazed, Gazed

he what? Gazed one more time.

He what gazed? He set his eyes, He gazed into

what heaven and he what saw. Remember, that statement

statement in Open Heaven is not about Jesus seeing you, it's

about you seeing Jesus. We'll get to it in a minute.

Saw the glory, the splendor, majesty of God, and he saw Jesus

standing at God's right hand where he said he would be

interceding. Look at this, this word gazed.

He wasn't just peeping at Jesus. He wasn't just like Jesus, like

carnality, Jesus flesh. No, he was like fixed and

because of his fixation on Jesus, he saw see, see.

This is what the enemy wants to do is interrupt your gaze.

He like Lauren. I've been looking long enough.

Then the enemy comes in and interrupts your gaze.

And if he can interrupt your gaze, he can interrupt your

hope. And if he can interrupt your

hope, faith is unemployed, because faith is the substance

of things hoped for. If I ain't hoping for nothing, I

ain't got nothing to lapse my faith to.

And because of my gaze, OK, Isaiah 26 says this.

If you keep your eyes fixed on me, I'll give you perfect peace.

It says Garrison around your heart.

This peace will guard your heart.

A peace that guards your heart, a peace that frustrates the

enemy because he can't get to you.

He can't get you frustrated. He can't get you off balance.

He can't shake you up. Look.

And he said, look, shout out, look, Stephen, Stephen, Stephen

Stairs. Look, shout out, look, I see

shout out. I see, come on, shout out.

I see one more time, say I see the what?

Heavens open. Here's here's what I like to

say, Noel. Like they wasn't like like they

like it wasn't. We'll get to it in we'll get to

it in just a few seconds. We'll get to it in just a few

seconds, like they wasn't. But his gaze led to assault and

then he's like, look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of

Man is standing there at God's rights.

What hand the side of authority, the side of intercession, open

Heaven is when you see. Jesus not when Jesus sees you or

does something for you. So many of us, Elder John, think

because like a blessing come through, that's like the fruit

of I'm I'm in the right place. Sometimes you sometimes,

sometimes you just know somebody.

Sometimes some people bless you because they feel sorry for you.

Sometime a blessing comes. To get you distracted, I think

it was, Brett told us last week. The encumbrances are good things

that distract us. I don't know if he was here last

Wednesday. This is why I just said church.

Somebody was asking, man, do you?

So when you plan out your year, your sermons for the year, I was

like, I can't do that. That's fine.

I get some people, that's just how they're wired.

But I can't do that because I will probably always be

switching up something. But I'm trying to.

I'm trying my best in this human experience to to walk with God

and speak what He needs us to hear for the season we're in.

Look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look.

And Jesus said to them, oh foolish ones, oh foolish ones.

Sluggish in what? Sluggish in what?

Dull of what? And slow of heart to what?

I'm slow of heart to believe because I'm sluggish in mine and

my perception is dull. Slow of heart to believe, adhere

to, and trust in and rely on. Look, everything that the

prophets have spoken. Was it not necessary and

essentially fitting that the Christ, the Messiah should

suffer all these things before entering into His glory, His

Majesty and His splendor. Then beginning with Moses and

throughout all the prophets, he went on explaining, ready and

interpreting to them. He's he's he's doing eye

surgery. He this is what good preaching

does. It helps take something that's

kind that could be kind of hard and preaching to you in a way

where you like. Oh, when people come here like

you didn't preach the Bible, No, I read the Scripture then I

interpreted it for the times. Or else you can't see God today.

You only could see God back then he say and interpreting to them

in all the scriptures the things concerning and referring to

himself. This this brother in front of

him and they still don't understand.

Who do they say I am? Who do they say the son of God

is gave him the answer in the question.

He's like you're going to deny me three times, thrice, thrice

Peter like no, I'm not the day come.

What do you do deny him three times?

I'm about to tell you what you about to do.

Then they drew near the village to which they were going, and he

acted as if he would go further. But they urged him, and instead

saying to him, Remain with us. Come on, say, remain with us,

for it is toward evening, and the day is now far spent.

And Jesus like you, right? So he went in and stayed with

them and it occurred that as he reclined at the table with them,

Jesus reclined like, what's up? I'm just trying to give you this

picture because we'd be thinking Jesus is just like this, like

statue. He chilling.

That's what he said. He chilling.

He took a loaf of bread and praised God.

He blessed it. He said grace and gave thanks

and asked a blessing and then broke it and was giving it to

them. You ready when their eyes opened

or when their eyes were instantly open and they clearly

recognized him? So.

So in other words, he was walking with them.

He was opening the scriptures to them, and they didn't still

quite believe it was him. He's interpreting the scriptures

to them. He was walking.

With them and they still had trouble knowing that was him

because they didn't believe what he said.

When their eyes were instantly open and they clearly recognized

him and he vanished, departed invisibly and they said to one

another, we're not. Our hearts greatly moved and

burning within us while He was ready, talking with us on the

road. And as he opened and explained

to us the sense of the scriptures, Open heaven, huh?

Didn't our hearts burn when He opened heaven?

You wonder why some people when they're getting something, they

shout or they clap or they move. And then you wonder why when you

get a paycheck or a raise or a bonus, you shout and you move.

But you didn't. But you didn't shout over

Revelation. You thought.

You thought the promotion was an open heaven.

You didn't know. When you got understanding of

the Scripture, it was, it was God open in your mind.

See, we shouting over things like like the shout is good, but

it's it's misplaced. It's it's like they didn't start

shouting until they got to the other side of the Red Sea.

They complained on this side, shouting on the other side.

That's good, but it's the wrong side.

Why you wasn't shouting when you couldn't see, Why you wasn't

shouting when it wasn't going your way.

So I'm a shout when I get stuff. But when God gives me

understanding, he sends a messenger to break down the

scriptures in such a way that I'm closer to God through my

understanding than I was when I showed up to church.

I'm going to just. Say this to these two open

heaven. Heaven reveals his open Heaven

is when Heaven reveals itself to you.

When, when, when he opens a mystery to you that was you once

was locked out of. You want to talk miracles?

Understanding God's heart is a miracle.

See, see, see Elder John, if we can get this stuff, he says now,

now at that place, all these things will be added unto you.

Oh, some of y'all going to be working 9:00 to 5:00 around the

clock and you're going to be like, Dang, I got to do all of

this to just get this and then PT and elders and then them

people. What what did they do to get

that? They just preach, OK, OK, no, he

can trust me because I see him and they and they said they said

to one another, we're not a hearts greatly moved.

He opened and explained to us, look, then I'm going to go down

from 32 to 45, say 45. Then he thoroughly opened up

their minds. He so he he he he he left and

then he he went. But then he he showed back up.

He showed back up when they went to Jerusalem and then he says he

talking to him and he says he thoroughly opened up their minds

to understand the Scriptures. Now I want you to understand

this. If you keep reading this, same

Luke that's writing, it's the same Luke that started writing

Acts. So where this leaves off, Acts

picks up. They go to Jerusalem, He says,

stay here. Well, you got to see this.

Why? Because in Acts 2 we see

Pentecost. Pentecost showed up once their

minds were thoroughly opened. The open, the open heaven starts

within before it happens without you see here he's ready to go to

you say stay right here and there in Jerusalem.

You start Acts 1. They're having a conversation

with Jesus. Is this when the Kingdom

returns? He said don't worry about it.

The Holy Ghost don't come up on you and you shall make you shall

go and be my witnesses. And then Acts one goes on and on

and then two, it says suddenly they're gathered together and

then what happens? Holy Spirit falls, you ready?

And then the scriptures go down, EJ.

And when persecution came and said, they drunk y'all ready for

y'all ready for this, They were able to stand without 66 books.

They were able to say, haven't you read that?

This is the time, this is the promise, because their eyes had

now been open. And now once internally you are

open. Open the flood, right?

Let it rain, right? You get what I'm saying?

It's here. But we're so Lord, bless me,

we're so Lord, give me a job. We're so external and then we're

mad and most of us get weary over the lack of external stuff

showing up instead of letting the transformation be the fuel

to keep going. You ready?

There is no open heaven without an opened mind.

This is why he says seek. Here's some here's some very

foundational scriptures. Seek me first and then Romans 12

says be transformed and then we're going to get to it later.

Ephesians 3 says be rooted and grounded so that then this whole

God thing happens and fills you up.

Let's keep going. Luke 17 here it is, here it is,

say inside. Nor will people say, look here

it is, or see there's open heaven, for behold the Kingdom

of God. Is where?

Within your what hurts? And when we understand that's

not the boom, boom, boom, boom, that's the suitcase, that's the

soul, that's the mind of the inner man.

The Kingdom is within. And we keep on trying to, we

keep on trying to rush God to break us through.

Give me that job, give me that smiles.

Give me all these things that when I'm up out of here, they

can't go with me. He's a good, good father.

For behold, Kingdom of God is within you, in your hearts and

what's among you surrounding you.

Look, Matthew 6 says, for where your treasure, Hallelujah is

Hallelujah, there will your heart be what also Hallelujah,

That's that. That's what you have to

understand here. Let's go deeper in this, where

your investments is, where your, where your passions are, where

your main thing is, where your, your your fervor is, where your

desires are, where your what is the one word I'm looking for

your, your affections. There will your heart be also.

We just, we just finished reading that the Kingdom is

within where. It's in our hearts.

Just for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

And if your treasure is in worldly things and carnal

things, that's a Kingdom too. The Kingdom is within.

The worldly Kingdom is not out here, and the godly Kingdom is

in here. No, your heart belongs to

whatever Kingdom you pledge allegiance to.

Where your treasure is, there will be the heart equivalent to

your investment. You ready?

Let's, let's, let's go a little deeper with it.

The I No, no, no, no, no, no. Go back verse 22.

The I somebody say the I is the lamp of the body.

Look, I see Jesus, the eye is the lamp.

So whatever I choose to see is what lights my life up.

Whoever I choose to idolize, it lights my life up.

Whatever I choose to lean on for strength and encouragement, he

he ready look. So if I lean on a little bit of

booze to take the edge off, then I only can get the amount of

edge that booze can take off. I'm going to talk to you.

If I smoke a little weed to deal with my stress, I.

Only can deal with the amount of stress that my weed is able to,

and I am subject to how weed deals with my stress.

Weed does not have the ability to liberate me from.

It has the ability to manipulate me from but it does not have the

ability to free me from but my treasure was in the weed.

So God said go ahead and I that's why I kept needing it

chasing the first hit. And This is why the enemy got to

come out with more strands because it's at a certain point

that that little Boo Boo weed. Now I need some White Widow, I

need some Peep Firm, I need all these different things that they

marketed to me based on my need and my ready tolerance.

So I put my treasure in it and God leaves me to it.

And we think, Elder Roseanne, because he leaves me to it, he's

OK with it. Because he doesn't snatch it out

my hand, he leaves me to it. God is not going to fight for

your heart when he's already died for it.

Fighting for your heart is low, living for him.

Why am I going to fight for something I die for?

The eye, it's the lamp or the body.

So if your eye is sound, if you are, if your vision, if your eye

is looking on something stable and sound.

So if your eye is sound, your entire body will be full of

light. This is why the enemy

distraction. Let me get you over here And oh,

you stressed out. Oh, why that UBS package, why

that Amazon package didn't show up.

Oh my God, now you calling everybody everybody trying to

figure out only to sit on the phone for an hour and then you

mad because when they answer the phone, they didn't help you or

you waited for an hour, then they automatically hung up.

Hey right, your your treasure, your piece is in the package

showing up. You you keep we keep checking to

see if they like the post because the piece is in and he

like well what's wrong with the? Well, OK, seven people liked it.

Who was it? Let me go see who liked it then.

When you see people at church and you like they wasn't one of

the people who liked your post, you're looking at them like they

ain't even popping. They ain't my friends.

You ain't really about this life where your treasure is.

So if your eye is so is sound, your entire body will be full of

light. So the enemy's trying to get our

eyes off center. So then he got us cross eyed.

Not cross life cross eyed. He got us.

Jesus. You can't gaze with one eyeball

over here and one eyeball over there.

That ain't no gaze. You're going to bust a vessel in

your brain trying to. I'm sorry.

You ever try? You know what I'm saying?

You ever that don't work, I'm like you ever looking the way

I'm looking the other way. I don't know who you looking at

you going to make me cross eyed? You know get it.

Listen, praise the Lord. That's how we are in the spirit

and the enemy knows the enemy know in the spirit all that

cross eyed. Let me be right in the middle of

the eye. I'm about to eat you right in

the middle. You over here like what's up?

What that what happened over there?

Wait a minute. I was walking straight with the

Lord. Now what happened?

How did storm High end up in this boat cross eyed, right?

If you walk this way long enough, right.

You saw you got you walking these way, pretty soon you're

going to hurt yourself. A split decision is never a

whole decision. Split decisions never leave the

wholeness. So if your eye is sound, your

entire body will be full of light ready.

But if your eye is unsound, your whole body will be full of

darkness. If then the very light in you,

your conscience is darkened, how dense is that darkness?

If darkness gets in your soul to where your inner man can't see?

I can't make sound decisions. I can't.

This is why sometimes you end up in seasons where you get mentors

and leaders in your life. You need people in your life

when you cross eyed somebody that could see clear for you and

say stop, we going to sat down for a minute.

OK, You don't need to serve. You've been serving cross eyed.

You've been married cross eyed. You've been working cross eyed.

You've been starting businesses cross eyed.

You got all this cross eyed life going on and you wonder why

you're having cross eyed babies. Forgive me if you anybody got

cross eyed babies. I'm sorry.

We got a lot of babies going and coming into the to the love

question. I don't want to look how dense

is that darkness? I don't want to park there.

I'll leave that for somebody else that's going to preach at

some point to to to expound on that like, but then I want you

to see Psalm one. He will be standing firm or

sound. Who is this person that is

sound? It's the person Psalm 11.

They're they're they're they're they're they're not giving to

the way of the world. They're focused on the Word of

God day and night. He will be standing firm like a

flourishing what tree? What planted by God's design.

So I need to be planted. I need to be planted if I'm

going to get rooted. This is why church hopping

dangerous, marriage hopping dangerous, relationship hopping

dangerous, because I'm never allowing the roots to settle in,

deeply rooted, ready by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruits

in every season of life. So I want you to see this.

Why did I bring this in? Because what we do is we think

this, the bearing fruit in every season is the open heaven.

The open heaven comes from my discipline in Jesus.

The open heaven didn't start when the fruit came.

The open heaven started with my gaze.

He says the person that's fixed in Jesus is like a flourishing

tree planted. Look before the flourishing is

manifested. I'm like flourishing.

Am I with anybody, Bernadette? Am I with anybody?

You used to? I was firm like he will be

standing firm like a flourishing tree planted.

So when by the time you see my fruits, you're only seeing

evidence of who I've been, I've been fruitful before.

You see a house, a car, any of that, you go see souls that you

can trace my external fruitfulness to.

You want to see fruit? Look at the lives of certain

people that surrender to the teaching and to the leading of

our leadership. Ask them what's happening on the

inside. Ask Seon.

Ask Annabeth. Ask Effie.

Ask Troy. Ask Bianca.

Ask, ask, ask. See, we're not acknowledging

that fruit. I've been fruitful.

I'm I am life flourishing the the car that that came out of me

and whatever comes out of me, I don't need to idolize it because

if it get taken, it can get produced again, 'cause this came

out of by way of rootedness, not buying and selling my my

blessing came out of faithfulness, obedience being

LED. I was LED into what you see bear

bearing fruit in every season. He's never dry, never fainting,

ever blessed, ever prosperous. The one that's fixed.

Never dry, never faint. I'm just believe this scripture.

Oh, some season's going to come where you want to give up,

wanting to give up and giving up.

It's different, He said I'll never faint.

He didn't say I'll never feel like faint.

So even if I feel like fainting, I know that never fainting is in

me. I'm a product of never fainting.

I'm a product of ever bless and I'm a product of ever

prosperous, never dry, never a dull moment in my life.

If I walk into dry things is about to get cracking when I

walk in the building. And you got to understand these

are seasons. If in every season of life, I'm

never. Dry, never fainting, ever

blessed, ever prosperous. It doesn't mean the season is

not dry. It just means because I carry a

season in me, so I don't care what kind of seasons around me

based on what the world's doing, the season that's happening

within me, understand the season is happening.

It says guard your heart for out of it flows the issues of life

and guard your heart for out of you flow seasons.

There's a have you ever made a decision that sent you into a

season? You ever got around somebody and

then your life totally begin to change?

Better or worse decisions can activate seasons, but because

I'm rooted, it don't matter what season's going on around me

because there is a never dry season, a never fainting season,

an ever blessed season and ever prospered.

That's why some of y'all, this ain't about me.

This is abyss about the Lord that's with me.

But some of y'all, when you came to Love Quest, you actually

persevered longer in certain situations than you ever have

because you came around some people who had a season of never

fainting. That's why you ain't gave up,

Annabeth. That's why you ain't gave up,

Seon, because you came into a space where it was never dry,

never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous.

Come on, say that with me. I'll never dry, never fainting,

ever, bless, ever. Come on, I'll never dry, never

fainting, ever bless, ever prosper.

This is why Ezekiel says along both banks of the river, every

kind of fruit tree will flourish and their leaves will never

wither and abundant fruit will always be on their branches.

Each month they will bear a fresh crop because this life

giving water that's in you, this water that comes from the

sanctuary, you are the sanctuary that is rooted in Jesus gazing.

So I'm never dry because my perspective is always Jesus.

I'm never dry because my eyes is on the one who's never dry.

He. Says he says.

This this life giving comes from the inside the sanctuary.

John 7 for this rivers of living water will flow from out of

God's sanctuary. He says, OK.

He says, you are my temple sanctuary.

So what he's talking on in John seven First Corinthians about

you being this temple, Ezekiel 47 is Speaking of a prophetic

people. He's prophesying about you that

there will be a season where you're never dry, you're never

fainting, you're always prospering because the heavens

are in you. Don't forget where he said if I

close up heaven, that's OT. If we had time, I could get to

maybe we were, maybe I got to come.

And in Jesus the heavens are always open.

This is what I came to tell you in Jesus the heavens are always

open. Why?

Because God, he never sleeps nor slumbers, right?

Did you always so so so then we look, look, look, look.

What do we think? This was when you said it almost

jumped at in the back. And at once the curtain of the

sanctuary of the temple was torn, and two from top to bottom

the earth shook and the rocks were split.

If the veil's torn, then when we're talking about open heaven,

then what else are we talking about?

What are we bombarding on heaven?

About what? What are we banging on heaven?

Who are we invited if the the bell is torn, if there's no

separation, who we inviting? Sounds like you need to get

invited because you ain't here yet.

Because if you was working, if you was here, then you know

God's here. Because he told me where I find

him, I find me. So if I'm inviting him, I need

to invite me. Because if he ain't here, I

ain't here. Not the person he want to

commune with. You ready.

You ready? The torn veil symbolizes direct

access. What does direct access mean?

No. Can you please show me your ID?

No, I don't. I don't need no ID.

Jesus. The blood is my ID.

Am I talking to anybody? The blood of Jesus is my ID.

He's not looking at my sins. So I don't need to put him away

and then clean myself up before I go into the Lord and be like,

I'm good. Hi, Jesus.

No, no, no. I I have access is granted

direct access to God for all believers through Christ's

atoning work. Secondly, this is so important.

The torn veil marks the old covenant's end or it is

finished. So This is why on Sundays we're

in the good fight of finishing faith and it says I love this.

And the torn veil represents a new.

Era. A new era's inauguration.

The veil is torn. It's nothing left to open but

your eyes. You hear me?

Good grace. Good God.

The veil is torn. It's nothing else to open but

your eyes. How do I know this, EJ?

Look at this. Look at this.

Then Elijah prayed. Oh God.

Wait a minute. Open his eyes.

So you got one man who sees heaven surrounding the

mountains. You got another man stressed

out. And Elijah did not pray or

panic. He prayed.

He said, Lord, please open his eyes and let him see the heavens

that are already open. What have we been looking for?

The eyes of the young man were open.

What? And he saw, he saw wonder.

The whole mountainside full of horses and Chariots of fire

surrounded Elijah. Elijah, this is the same man.

If I kept reading down, Elijah earlier was with Elijah.

And Elijah says this to Elijah. If you see me when I go, you

want a double portion. You need eyes to see.

I'm not just handing you mantels.

I'm not just handing you what if I you're anointed, but I see

you're anointed more than you see you're anointed.

You're powerful. I see you're powerful more than

you're a leader. But I see leader more than you

see you leader so God will put you around Elisha's so they can

show you and intercede for you. Lord, open his eyes, Elijah

said. Man, that's a hard thing you

asked for. It's a hard thing you asked for,

but you can have it if you see me.

If you want what's on me, you have to see me.

This is why I tell my son, One of the hidden secrets I noticed

it's a pattern with greatness is I have not seen one person that

is great who didn't know the history of those that went

before them. LeBron studied the old greats.

I'm talking about they he studied folks that was just in

black and white. Comedians pay homage to those

that went before them. I have never seen tip top

greatness. You go to actors and they'll pay

homage to actors that paved the way for for them.

Elijah says If you want what's on me, then you got to see me.

Why would you sit here with leaders, pastors, elders,

singers, whatever, and get so familiar you can't see?

It's less about who God has put in front of you and more about

what He's put on who is in front of you, because it's what's on

and in who that He has for you. There's this exchange between us

that can only happen through you seeing me or seeing Him or

seeing her properly. And it is only when you see

heaven, when you see God properly, that heaven is open to

you. And we're going to keep on

getting into it. And This is why the enemy's

efforts is to blind the eyes of sons and daughters. 2nd

Corinthians 4 says he blinds the minds.

If I can keep you distracted, if I can get you arguing about

doctrine, if I could get you being critical, if I can get you

being judgmental, if I can get you.

That's why Jesus said take the plank, just put that same energy

on yourself. The power of your

transformation. It happens in and it goes out.

You want to be loved. Guess what?

Love our prayers, Lord, that you and we'll pick up here next week

when we look at Ephesians, when he says, I pray that you be

rooted. And what happens when you're

rooted and what opens up when you're rooted?

My prayers that you open the eyes of our heart, Lord,

heaven's open. God's ready, angel's been

dispatched, the Bell's torn. Only thing left to open is your

eyes. And then we got to do the work

to remove. Whatever is distracting us from

seeing God. I don't know about you, but I

just don't want to miss it. So as we enter this fast next

Monday until now, we're going to use the other flyer.

They ain't got the eyes to see. They got ears, but they can't

hear. They got eyes, but they can't

see. What are we doing, Church?

I pray that you see that there's more for you than there are

against you. I pray that you see that God has

already raised up a standard because the enemy has come in

like a flood. And in the old.

Days what that meant when he raised up a standard, he raised

up a flag, right? A soldier dies, flag goes down.

You know what I mean? So when God raises up a

standard, what he's saying I'm fighting with you, I'm in this

war with you, but what good is it if you don't know who's in

the fight with you? You don't know the weapons

available to you. That's why December 31st, the

Lord told me to tell you, you are ready.

And how many people walked away from December 31st?

Still doubt me themselves, let alone God.

Just take a few minutes, Lord. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord.

All right, the inner man. Next week I'm also going to give

you 5 keys to living under an open heaven.

Folks might say keeping it open. We could say that, but it's

right there before us. How to live under an open heaven

and remained under it. We close ourselves out.

God doesn't ever shut it. We close ourselves out through

ignorance, through unforgiveness, bitterness,

through distraction, through sin, compromise, carnality.

We'll see it. The.

Fruits of the open heaven. Is the fruit of the Spirit.

If you want to see the fruit of someone living under an open

heaven, their lies will look like the character of Jesus.

It will look like love and joy, peace, right?

Because you got to understand that those fruits, that fruit is

not based on conditions. It's something that's cultivated

through the work of the Holy Spirit within us.

And so can the Lord come in, the Holy Spirit come in and open

your mind to the endless possibilities of His grace.

I just pray in this series that we've removed some roadblocks in

our mind. We remove, we allow the Holy

Spirit to redefine some things. I believe the Lord want to clear

the pathways for heaven to just come on in your life.

Come on, take a few seconds. Come on Lord, open it Holy

Spirit, Revelation is the byproduct of

gazing. You like Lord, reveal yourself

to me. Well, the revealing, the

unveiling is a fruit of your gazing.

Hallelujah in Jesus name. In Jesus name.

Come on, lift your hands one more time and let's sing that.

Open the eyes of my heart. Open the eyes of my heart.

Come. On listen to our feet.

If you received anything tonight, give God a hand.

Come on, give God a hand worthy. Did he open your eyes tonight to

anything? Come on, give Him praise for it.

My prayer is that you open your eyes.

You do your part by removing distractions.

Simplify your gaze, simplify your affections and make sure

you're not cross eyed in your gaze.

What I do know is God really wants His children blessed.

He understands the value to the loss of monetary success.

There is value aside from paying your bills and things of that

nature. There is value to an extent.

It is a witness. It opens up conversations and

puts you in certain rooms. And to some people, the monetary

blessing is a sign of blessing. But you got to know where your

help comes from. You.

Can't be blinded by shiny objects.

And God says that we seek him first.

His Kingdom, His way of doing things.

He'll add those things to our life.

He loves us, He loves you, and I pray your eyes are open to how

special you are to him. You're super dope to your

I just send strength to you. Those that have been battling

and wrestling, I want you to know I may share about this a

little bit on Sunday, But what God is saying is that you have

to look at inspections. I mean, wrestling almost like an

inspection season and going through this stuff with these

buildings. A part of the frustration is

waiting for permits. But before there's a permit,

there has to be inspection. And before you can be permitted

to go forward, you have to be inspected, you have to be tried,

you have to be proven, you have to be tested.

And sometimes, like with our our plumbing, we did everything.

But then the inspector came in and said we just need you to dig

a little bit deeper. And we dug a little bit deeper.

He came back and He permitted it.

And sometimes the enemy wants to get you frustrated because all

God is saying is just this one little thing.

I need you to make an adjustment.

This is 1 little thing. I just believe we're in

inspection season. You're being proven not being

held back. You're actually ready to be

inspected. I want you to think about what

that means when you get to a point where you're ready for the

inspector to inspect. You've done all that you know

you should do. You need the inspector to point

out things so you can get closer to perfection.

And he says he gave some pastors, apostles and so on and

so on to what mature the Saints. So, Father, I thank you for the

maturing of your children. I thank you for your.

Word, Lord, that it will not be stolen or devoured or perverted,

but it will produce. We thank you that your children

are advancing. They're going forward and we

call these properties blessed. We thank you Father, above and

beyond. What we are needing and

believing for will come in. Lord God, we call in partners

from the north, the South, the east and the West in Jesus name.

I thank you. We will not be weary in well

doing because we will not faint. We shall reap and we declare we

are in due season and we pull it down and we pull it down and we

pull it down in Jesus name. Amen.
