The Power and Importance of Repetition (1130) - 11.3.2024 (Elder John Swain Jr.)

You know, the Lord really takes us at our words and when you

sing a song like that and you say we're going to worship and

praise you forevermore, forevermore.

I only got 1 meaning scripture read Pastor Dylan gave a good

word on Isaiah 60 today. He says not only will people be

drawn to your light, but it also says to the brightness of your

light shall kings come. There's an intensity about your

light that your light needs to have, not just the fact you got

1 right. So when you sing about

forevermore, just think about what that means Forevermore.

If evermore don't mean like next, you come, come back again

next Sunday and do it again. Forevermore includes all the

time between now and next Sunday.

Amen. Amen.

Thank you again, pastors, for an opportunity to share the Word of

God. I take you through a blender to

pray and prepare. And as I've had an opportunity

to share more consistently during this window of time, I've

come to appreciate the the work and the effort and the seeking

of God that's required for our pastors to deliver what we get

every time they open their mouths.

I'm telling you, it's no joke. It's not something they do is

how they live. It has to be otherwise you get

worn out. So pastors, thank you again for

being such a good example, Pastor Terence and Pastor Julia,

of what it means to live the gospel.

Therefore, you preach out of how you live.

That's worth a hand clap right now.

And so I got the privilege to share word today, something

similar I've been working on. God hasn't had me in this loop

and about sharing some different things about these prophetic

words. If you've been with me as I've

spoken the last few times, both here on Wednesday and even at

prayer, we've been talking about and teaching on how to pray

through a prophetic word and how important it is to pray through

a prophetic word. And the way it's been developing

is that sometimes some things will be taught here, some things

will be taught there, and sometimes God has me repeat

things because the audience is different.

Does that make sense? And so I'm, I'm going to talk a

little bit about some things that was shared during prayer on

Saturday, 7:30 here, 10:00 in Vancouver.

You know, I'm telling you, if y'all want to see coming

attractions, prayer would tell you what coming attractions are.

It'll never catch you off guard or by surprise for sure.

So I'm, I'm going to talk a little bit about those things,

but it's but it's something more, it's developing into

something more I believe. And so I just want to share this

with you. So we talked about praying

through the prophetic words. So finish the year, finish the

word, finish the year, finish the word.

OK. And one of the keys to finishing

the word is understanding the power and importance of

repetition. And I spoke to that a little a

little bit in prayer. Why?

Because the last time I had a chance to gather before our body

complete, I emphasized about some steps and praying through a

prophetic word. Not to say this mechanical, but

it does give you some guidance as you develop.

And one of the things we talked about was spending some time

just thanking God for the prophetic word itself.

That was Step 2. Step 1 was just reading through

the prophetic word without inflection, without anything.

Watch. You don't want to bias it with

your feelings, your emotions, or your perceptions.

So Step 2 was to thank God for the prophetic word.

And it's something that's simple as, God, I just thank you for

the prophetic word. You've spoken of our house.

God, I thank you for the prophetic word and thanking God

for the prophetic word. What you're saying is, God, I

appreciate that you would speak to us.

I appreciate your loving kindness to give us a word, even

if it's a word of warning, even if it's a word of something

that's going to happen if we don't change our course, right?

God, I appreciate the fact that you care enough not to let me

keep going. That's your that's your loving

kindness. So saying thank you God for the

prophetic word and thank God, I receive it.

We receive it. We thank you for it.

God, we really appreciate keep giving us, keep speaking.

You have liberty to speak prophetically into our lives and

through this community. That's what you're doing.

You saying, God, thank you for the prophetic word.

God, I thank you for the prophetic word.

And as I, we talked about that, we said, you just continue to do

that for a little bit. And something came up to me is

that some people either very honestly and earnestly, we'll

just say that way. And I always think the best

we'll say, but I thought there was a verse or something that

talked about you shouldn't be saying the same thing over and

over again and like that, right? And so I, I felt it was

important to deal with that. Why?

Because we want you to have confidence in what we're not

only what we're teaching you, but in your exercise in what

we're talking about. Why is that important?

We are praying through the prophetic words the God has

spoken of our house with this year from now to the end of the

year. We're emphasizing that, Amen.

And we're emphasizing it in a moment where our pastors are out

doing other things right now. What does that mean?

I think God is telling us that we have a large part to play in

that. Does that make sense?

He's like, no, they got their part.

Y'all need to get y'all part and I'm including myself and y'all

because I'm here, right? We need to get that part.

And God is saying I need the body moving to praying through

these prophetic words. OK.

The other thing is I really believe God is saying it's much

more than just this. He said I'm trying to teach you

and train you now so you can be ready for the greater word.

I'm going to share with you the beginning of this coming year.

I want you trained up. I want you ready.

I don't want you to be caught unawares by the weight of the

word that I'm going to give you. So I'm training you to

understand it, to perceive it, to respect it, to honor it, and

to pray it through. Because once the weight of your

word gets dropped, you're going to be responsible for it.

You want to be accountable for it and I want you to be able to

steward it well. So I think part of what God's

doing in in emphasizing praying through prophetic words right

now is US preparing us for what he's getting ready to drop.

It's called being ready. Amen.

And so in wanting you to have that confidence, I want to deal

with this issue of repetition and, and that scripture and just

repetition in general. The Scriptures from Matthew

Matthew 6:7

chapter 6 verse 7. It says But when you pray, use

not Zane repetitions as the heathen do.

This was a KJV. For they think that they shall

be heard for their much speaking.

Be not ye therefore say ye King James, ye be not ye therefore

like unto them. For your Father knoweth what

things you have need of, before you ask of him.

This is the verse. Now some people take this and

say you don't need to say stuff over and over again.

If you do, you're not lining up with the word of God.

Now I want to emphasize here, it says when you this is Jesus

talking, when you pray, use not vain repetitions.

He doesn't say don't repeat anything.

He says use not vain repetitions.

So my question becomes then, OK, Lord, what is a vain repetition

for they think they shall be heard for their much speaking.

A vain repetition is when you're thinking that you're much

speaking will make God hear you better.

The more I say it, the more God's going to hear me.

The more I say it, the more God's going to move.

The more I say it, the more God's going to do get on his

job. They think they shall be heard

for the much speaking. That's what makes it a vain is

that you think that somehow you're repeating it.

It's going to make it make make God hear you more.

God, did you hear me? Did you hear me?

Did you hear me? Did you hear me?

That's vain repetition. OK, Now if there's vain

repetition, I would probably suggest to you that there's

repetition that's not vain, which means there is a

repetition that God couldn't want us to operate in that could

be effective for us and and the Kingdom of God.

Go to Joshua 1/8 an amplified, an amplified classic.

It says this Moses has died. Joshua's getting ready to take

over, or really he's anointed for it already.

And Lord basically says him to Joshua, be strong, be confident,

be of good courage. Sounds like stand to me.

You should 'cause these people to inherit the land which I

swore to their fathers to give them.

Look at the strength of that language.

You shall cause them, right? So you have to know who you are.

Some people today, if we were to say things like that, they would

think you're being arrogant. You can't say you shall cause

them. I didn't say it.

God's telling him that now for Joshua to pick it up and says

God said I was going to cause you.

I'm just repeating what God says.

Only you be strong and very courageous that you may do

according to all the law which Moses, my servant commanded you

turn not from it to the right hand or to the left that you may

prosper wherever you go. That's kind of a focus stick

there. You know, that sounds like to

me, that sounds like to me like Step 2, right?

Just thank God for the prophetic word.

Don't start adding stuff to it to write it to the left.

You just thank Him for the word. OK?

This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but

you shall meditate it on it day and night.

That's what I want to emphasize there.

Now, if you don't understand the Scripture, you'll say this book

should not depart out of your mouth.

And then you will think possibly that means you're not supposed

to say anything because once I say it, the words have left my

mouth and the word is saying, don't let it depart from your

mouth. So you just you just keep it in,

you meditate on the inside. You're not supposed to talk

about what God is doing. The rightly dividing this word

says no. What that means is your mouth

ought to always be full of the word.

There shouldn't be nothing of doubt coming out of your mouth

because your mouth should be full of the word of God.

And what I've told you, don't ever let it get to to be a point

where you're not continually reminding yourself and speaking

about the things that I promised you and that I've told you.

Where do you get that from? In part because it says meditate

on it day and night, that is, no, there's no like in between

time. Use it day or night.

That means it's all the time. Even though it's just two times.

I'm whistling today. I don't know what that is.

Meditate on it. This word meditate means to

mutter. It means to chew on.

It literally means to repeat over and over again.

OK, Meditate, right? Give me something.

Give me a verse. The favor of God surrounds me

like a shield. OK, what does it mean to

meditate on that? It means to do this, Father.

The favor of God surrounds me like a shield.

Favor of God surrounds me like a shield.

Your favor surrounds me like a shield.

You don't have to walk and do this.

I'm just walking because I got to stay easy, but I like to walk

God. The favor of God surrounds me

like a shield. The favor of God surrounds me

like a shield. The favor of God surrounds me

like a shield. The favor of God surrounds me

like a shield. The favor of God surrounds me

like a shield. The favor of God surrounds me

like a shield. I'll drive with my eyes open

now. The favorite gospel is like a

cheer. Yeah.

Tough crowd. Tough crowd.

I'm glad you're paying attention.

I'm glad you're paying attention for cheer.

Right. That's what meditation means.

It means to mutter, to speak consistently, continually.

If you really understand it, it means to what?

To repeat. Right.

A picture of muttering is a cow. A cow will chew.

Chew, chew, chew. Everyone chew, chew, chew.

Anyway, a cow will chew right and then they'll swallow it and

then bring it back up. I had to say bring it back up

because she said regurgitate real loud.

So I have to give some other words for I got to bring it back

up right? That's my sister.

And then chew it some more. So it means chew, chew, chew,

chew. Let it sit and then Choo, Choo,

Choo some more. So this idea of meditation, this

idea of the God speaking here, saying repetition is important.

What does God connect meditation with or repetition with

observing and doing all repetition helps you to observe

and do all to make sure you're not missing anything.

It helps you to observe, which means to see all you need to do.

And then it helps you to do all that you need to do.

For then you should make your way prosperous.

Amen. There's something better than

making your way prosperous. What is that?

No, just read the next line, he said.

He said to them you should make your way prosperous and then you

should deal wise. You have good success.

You can be prosperous but not have good success.

Good success is the proper application of your prosperity

for Kingdom purposes. That's what good success is.

Are you using your prosperity in a way that's blessing people and

blessing in the Kingdom? What he's connecting to is this.

This repetition is going to help you see and to do and help you

make your way prosperous and help you deal wisely and have

good success. That's part of repetition is

forced to help lead you on the path of success.

So so this is 1 example where God is telling us repetition is

not the problem, it's vain repetition that's the problem.

One of the ways it's going to help you have good success is

because repetition helps get it in you.

It's not I'm not God heard it the first time.

It was his idea that repetition helps me to remember.

It helps get it inside of me. So when I I'm under pressure,

the truth comes out, not doubt and unbelief.

Repetition helps get it inside of me.

I was talking with some people the other day and and it's like

this you got, you got. I thought the picture was

helpful. If somebody used a picture, can

I, can you come up here? Sir, I want you to be the middle

here, OK? Can I have you come up here?

Sir, You're like what? Yes.

Look, Mom on stage. OK?

And and and I'm have try. Come on.

It's my brother right here. I know.

They let me just butcher stuff. I'm like that guy, like I'm

borderline kind of like. Does he know someone needs to

tell him I'm borderline like that.

I get it. I get it.

OK. Ready.

Spirit, soul, body. OK, You got it.

Whenever you have to repeat something, you have to engage

This. OK?

Technically, you engage at all. That's why speaking is so

important. Speaking your faith, declaring

your faith, lifting your voice and praise and worship.

If you just keep it on the inside, your spirit man got it.

OK, but when you begin to think about it, now your soul got it.

Your soul is your mind, your will, and your emotions.

Not your soul got it. But when you begin to say it,

not all three, you got it. And the Bible says the threefold

core is not easily broken out of the mouths of two or three

witnesses, one witness, 2 witness, 3 witnesses.

Let every word be established. OK, So speaking it is really

important. So when you're speaking it and

repeating it verbally, OK, you, you, you engage in this part.

So the more you engage this part, the more it begins to go

this way and begins to penetrate.

And now your souls being renewed by it all the time.

Now, the goal isn't to stop here.

The goal is to go through your soul, right?

And then begin to penetrate to your spirit.

See, your spirit is like a gusher of glory.

You know, I've heard of oil wells, you know, on TV and

Usher, when the oil comes up, your spirit is a gusher of

glory. It's a gusher of the Kingdom.

And there's this barrier here between your spirit and your

soul, OK? Because your soul is not renewed

yet, right? But when you repeat, you're

getting it deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper,

deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper till it penetrates here.

And once it penetrates your spirit, if anything, your spirit

is doing this. Your spirit's trying to help

pull it through. Come on, keep coming.

Keep coming. Because once you penetrate here,

I said gusher of glory, right? You poke it fully, this begins

to flow out automatically. It's your reality.

OK, Thank you. Thank you, gentlemen.

So from that, So from that standpoint, repetition helps me

get it helps get it in me. And sometimes too vain

repetition is when you doing disengaged repetition when

you're just saying something, your head is like, you know the

great thing about being a professional singer.

Like I said that like I've been doing it for a lot of years,

have I? The great thing is when you're

really high level, you can give a concert that blows people's

minds the whole time thinking about your grocery list.

When you're highly skilled, vein repetition means in disengaged

repetition as well. Right, so when you just saying

got favorite God surrounds me like the shield, favorite God

surrounds me like the shield, favorite God surrounds me like

the shield that can be vain repetition.

Why what is my soul doing? Remember my mouth is speaking.

What's my soul doing right now? Engage repetition is this in

favor of God surrounds me like a shield and in my soul I'm

picturing the favor of God covering me.

I'm picturing the favor of God working on my behalf.

I'm picturing the favor of God doing things and going places.

I'm picturing a favor on me coming on you so you can do what

you need to do. Now my repetition has been

elevated now because I'm engaging my soul, I'm engaging

my, the rest of me to be thinking about what God is

saying, what God is doing. OK.

That's what that repetition does is to get it inside of you, to

sustain you, to help you be what you need to be, to help get you

through the tough times, to help you get through the difficult

times, but help you get up off the bat.

I said this example one time before Muhammad Ali call

themselves a champion. Whatever you think about him,

I'm the greatest, I'm the greatest, I'm the greatest.

He got knocked down one time on the on the canvas.

I believe this story's accurate because I'm telling him knocked

down on the canvas. He hadn't been knocked down very

much if it all up to that time he was on the canvas and what

came up inside of him is this basically the floor is no place

for a champion get up. He repeated.

He was the greatest so much that when he was down his Ripper

Titian called him to account OK and elevated him.

Go to Matthew Chapter 9 verse 2022 and we see a biblical

Matthew 9 · chapter mention

example of this. And behold, a woman who has

suffered from a flow of blood for 12 years came up behind him,

Jesus, and touched the fringe of his garment.

For she kept saying to herself, for only touches garment, I

shall be restored to hell. All I got to do is touch him.

He loaded with power. He loaded with glory.

I know who he is. That takes out a vain

repetition. What I've got don't take much

for what he has. He's bigger, he's strong, He's

more able. I didn't hurt the word he

preached. Ready.

That's the positive side. That's like I'm walking on the

right side of life. Going to touch the hem of his

garment. OK, here's how it helps you when

you're walking on the dark side of life.

Touching the hem of his garment. She was bleeding, which means

she could have been legally stoned.

If you're bleeding, I don't know.

Medical people here can tell me your body can oftentimes be

weak. OK, so she's bleeding, and I

believe the picture somehow I got it was this.

She was crawling. She was making her way through a

throng of people. A weak, bleeding woman who'd

been bleeding 18 years is trying to make her way that it's when

you're trying to crawl through and the garment is there.

I can't get there. I gave it my best.

That's when what you keep saying.

All I got to do is get to the helm.

Come on, I just got to get to the helm and I'll be whole.

It's that meditation that keeps you going.

It's that meditation that keeps pulling you through when you

want to quit. Sometimes you got it.

And sometimes, let me tell you, sometimes if you're in the midst

of your crawling and you find yourself having a pause, you're

not sitting, you standing if you really understand what standing

is. And that meditation would help

me stand take 5 because I know all I have to do is get to the

hem of the garment man. And I'm going to be home.

I know that. So I'm going to take 5 now and

watch all them 18 years going to roll away like a like a dust,

like a breath. Repetition helps you.

That's on the hard side of life. How repetition helps you, OK,

not just on the bright side of life.

And So what we see here is that this repetition is essential for

us finishing the good fight of faith.

It's for us finishing the things Jesus the prophesied is coming

for 2000 years. Do you think people got tired of

talking about him coming? What keeps you going?

Lord? I just look at your word and I

just know you promised a savior. He's going to bruise the head

and the enemy. That's all I know.

So I'm going to keep declaring it.

I'm going to keep telling myself I'm not trying to get you to

move. I'm trying to get me to remember

and I'm trying to get the next generation to remember that when

I, like Joseph, died before I get to the promised land.

This is my son here. And I say to my son, I'm passing

on now. I haven't seen the promise.

The promise is still true. I'm passing on my repetition.

Love it to you. You continue to meditate on that

promise and go into that promise and you continue to declare that

promise. And if you don't see it, then

you pass it on to your kids and to the next generation because

we don't get there. If we can hold on to the promise

that make sense. That's what meditation does.

That's what that repetition does.

It helps us to do that. And so I thought it was

important to kind of cover that off.

So when you are lady in the scripture, if you know at least

if you're repeating it without vanity, when you're repeating it

with substance and you're declaring it as you say,

meditating on it and keep seeing and keep saying and keep saying

what God has to say. I want to go to a few.

And as I got into this, what I found out was interesting and

that was it's everywhere. It's everywhere.

For example, Genesis 1/5, you can pop those up quick.

If not move, be able to move pretty quick.

Genesis 15 says this. And God caught the light day in

the darkness called night. There was evening, there was

morning. One day.

Within there was two days, three days, four days, five days, six

days, seven days. Go again one day.

That's repetition. God is repeating.

Any cycle is a repetition. Any system is a repetition.

For long as the earth remains, there should be what?

Seed time and harvest, seed time and harvest.

You're repeating, you're repeating.

You're repeating Joshua 6, three and four says this.

You should March around the enclosure.

All the men of war going around the city's Jericho.

This you should do for six days. And seven priests shall be the

orchestra of Ram's horns and the trumpets, and you shall March

around the enclosure 7 times, and then they're both the

trumpets. So repeat it one day, two days,

three days, four days, five days, six days.

And then when you think you're really tired on the 7th day, do

it 7 times that day. This repetition does something

in you. And when repetition does

something in you, the people can see something about you that

makes you different. They can understand that you

standing stronger than most people do.

There's a little waiver most folks have that you don't seem

to have. Where does that come from?

Sometimes my repetition is trying to get it in me to adapt

that I can not only be strong for me, I can be strong for you.

Second Kings 13/18/19 says this. The life of the prophet was ill,

getting ready to pass away for whatever was on him.

He told the king, Shoot the arrow through the window and

then he said take the arrows. He took them and he said to the

king of Israel, strike on the ground and he struck three times

and stopped. And the man of God was angry

with him. The man is dying.

Dying. Prophets don't really have time

for anger, I don't think, unless it's really important.

I mean really understand folk typically when they die, they're

not like getting angry at. They're like, man, I'm done,

Whatever y'all's on y'all. I did my part.

That's on you. OK, but the man of God was angry

with him and said you should have struck 5 or 6 times.

You should have kept repeating, you should have kept repeating.

You should have kept repeating. Then you would have struck down

Syria until you had destroyed it.

Your enemies. You'd have gotten it so deep

into your bloodline that your whole Kingdom would never see

that enemy ever again. It's not about changing God.

It's about getting it deep in me.

Second Chronicles 2021 through 22.

This is the one with Jehoshaphat.

It's trying to figure out what to do.

It's surrounded by armies, praise to seek God and gets a

word from the Lord, a prophetic word.

Everyone say prophetic word as to what to do.

And the prophetic word was go send out singers in front of the

army. I got this one.

This one's on me. It's like when you go to the

restaurant and he said, hey, compliments of the shelf, it's

on him. See guys, this one's on me.

I'm going to take care of this battle.

OK, So they said this, the appointed singers, because up to

the people pointed singers went out before him.

This is what they said. Give thanks to the Lord for His

mercy and love and kindness and do it forever.

That's how we read it. Let me take you to the Psalm

that I believe they were declaring.

That's Psalm 136. And if I use all my time, the

rest of my time doing this Psalm, then it's well worth it.

I want to go through that one in detail.

So this is what they were singing, Psalm 136.

Let's get what you're playing there, man.

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good and his love endures.

That's what they told him. That's that's the part we hear.

OK, but this the Psalm they were singing.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good and his love endures

forever. Go back.

Give thanks to the God of gods for his mercy and love and

kindness endure forever. Give thanks to the Lord of Lords

for his mercy and love and kindness, Endure forever.

Keep going to Him alone does great wonders for His mercy and

love and kindness endure forever to Him by wisdom and

understanding. Make the heavens for His mercy

and love and kindness and do forever to Him.

We stretched out the earth upon the waters for His mercy and

love and kindness and do forever to Him.

We'll make the great lights for His mercy and love and kindness

and do forever. The sun, the rule over the day

to go back in Genesis for His mercy and love and kindness and

do forever. The mountain moon and the stars

to rule by the night. For His mercy and love and

kindness and do forever to him all Egypt in their first born.

For his mercy and love and kindness endure forever.

And brought you out. Israel among them is mercy and

kindness do forever with a strong hand and with an

outstretched arm. For his mercy and love and

kindness endure forever. The game will divide the rest.

See in the parts. For his mercy and love and

kindness endure forever. And to Israel made Israel to

pass through the midst of it. For his mercy and kindness

endure forever. But shook often overthrew

Pharaoh and his host into the Red Sea With mercy and loving

kindness. Endure forever to Campbell.

Let his people through the wilderness with mercy and loving

kindness and do forever. To him who smoke great keys,

smooth me them with mercy and loving kindness and do forever

and smooth. Famous king was mercy and love

and kindness and do forever. That ain't enough.

Roll call. Got receipts.

Shah, king of the Amorites, he slayed them was mercy and

kindness and do forever. And all the king of Asia was

mercy and love and kindness and do forever and gave their land

as a heritage was mercy and loving kindness and do forever.

Even a heritage to Israel is serving was mercy and loving

kindness do forever to Him who remembered US in our lowest

stage and it printed us on his heart.

For his loving mercy and loving kindness endure forever and

rescued us from our enemies. For his mercy and loving

kindness endure forever to give who gives food to all flesh.

Those that love Him, those that don't for His mercy and loving

kindness and do a favor. Bring it down just a bit.

Keep going. Is that it?

OK now you know what they did, bring it down a little bit.

You know what they did when they got the 1st 26?

They went back to first one. Give thanks to the Lord for He

is good. That's repetition.

It is kept repeating and giving testimony because I've got to

fulfill prophetic word after prophetic word after prophetic

word after prophetic word. And it was on the basis of that

repetition that the enemy was slain, on the basis of that

repetition that the enemy was subdued.

Connect this verse with the one with the arrows.

What if they only did it one time?

Would the enemy have been destroyed?

I don't know. But if I look at the arrows

verse, it suggests to me that it was a partnership, that God was

doing this part. And as we kept declaring who he

was, he's like, man, yeah, we're going to do some more.

I'm with you. Come on, give me something to

ride on. Give me something to know that

you're with us that you with me I know I'm with you.

Give me something else so I can know that you with me.

There ain't no father doing this by myself.

Let's ride together you making sense repetition and have a seat

repetition. Proverbs 2416 says this.

You need to be have repetition to get up to for a righteous man

falls 7 times and he rises again.

He don't stay down, he gets up, he repeatedly gets up.

He don't quit on himself or herself.

Repetition is to help you not only do the good you need to do,

but to make the comeback from the from the bad that maybe

you've done as well. Matthew 633 says seek me.

Now I'm a blaze through a few of these here, so don't try to keep

up. Pro presenter Matthew 633 talks

about seeking me first. Keep seeking the Lord.

Basically seek me first of my Kingdom and my righteousness.

That word seek me. Keep seeking.

Seek and seek and seek and seek and seek and seek and seek and

seek and seek and seek and seek. Keep seeking repeatedly.

Keep seeking. Luke 11/8 says this, that there

was a man that came and wanted some, wanted some food for his

friends in the middle of the night.

And he knocked and he knocked and he knocked.

And the man said, Brian, sleep, it's too late.

The guy kept knocking, kept repeating his commander, come

unto me. And the man got up and says,

this man, because of your importunity, I won't get up with

importunity. He won't go away.

He won't stop. You persisted.

Can you consistently continue to repeat it?

Luke 18, four. So there's the widow that wanted

justice from an unjust judge and the unjust judge says this.

I'm going to give you what you want woman.

I don't fear neither God nor man, but you're going to wear me

out with your repeated coming to me based on the justice you

believe God has desired for you. So I'm going to give you what

you want. The Lord has spare me

repetition. You have good success even in

the courthouse. John 15 says this, that the

angels are going back and forth. Jesus, you see the angels going

back and forth. As I'm doing my ministry, the

angels, I'm making this one trip.

They're making repeated trips. Repetition John 2115 says Jesus

said this to Peter after he said do you love me?

He repeated it three times to let him know that the love you

have for me I know you have for me.

Brother we good, let's get up and go.

Win the Kingdom, win the world for the Kingdom of God.

Ephesians 518 says be filled with the Spirit, which means

continue to be filled, be ye filled, be filled be filled, be

filled, be filled. Repetition again Ephesians 618

says with all manner of prayer you pray.

That means pray with every kind of prayer.

When you finish with this kind of prayer, pray the next kind of

prayer. When you finish the next kind of

prayer, use all the prayers, continuing to pray all manner of

prayer. Philippians 4 through verse 4,

four says this rejoice. And again I say rejoice,

rejoice. And again I say rejoice.

Once you rejoice, repeat it. Once you rejoice, repeat it and

then Revelations 4/8 put that one up.

Hopefully what you can see is this.

The prophetic word that we got was don't put it up yet real

quick. Let's get it ready.

The prophetic word we got was the hardest thing you're going

to need to do to this year is to stand because in order to stand,

you don't have to repeat the fundamentals and you get people

get tired of repeating the fundamentals.

It was hard to stand because standing ain't sexy, quote UN

quote. It's not something new and fresh

every day. Mercy endures forever.

His mercy endures forever. His mercy endures forever.

His mercy endures forever. You submit that song, the song

he said, man, it's too repetitive.

We can't use that. You got to ask some different

lyrics in there, bro. You got mercy endures forever

every line. People get tired, tired.

That's why it's hard to stand. But if you can't give yourself

to the repetition that's required to get it in you, to

the punctures, your spirit and that glory gusher can flow

through man. You see everything God has

promised. And this is the last example

repetition I want to give of why it's so important to stand,

because it's a repetition that helps you to stand so well.

Then it brings you to your knees.

Revelations 4, Revelations 4 and the four living creatures.

This is around the throne of God individually having 6 wings were

full of eyes all over and day and night.

They never stop saying holy, holy, holy is the Lord God

Almighty who was and is and is to come.

That's all they got is that one course day and night keep going.

That's verse it goes on to say this and as they begin to do

that, the glory of God feels that it feels the atmosphere and

the 12 and the 12 and 24 elders or whoever the elders were the

numbers that was there. They begin to kneel down, take

their crowns, put them on the ground and everybody begins to

become prostate and begins to worship God.

That repetition in that space began to magnify and amplify the

presence of God in a, in a, in a great way.

I'll close with this example for you here about the power of that

We talked about in prayer that whipped cream don't come out

like in a camp. Besides me.

Whipped cream is liquid. But then you take a whisk, which

is like a light bulb, like a wire light book and light bulb.

I know folk don't cook here. I get that right.

We skip the dishes. I need a whisk.

He said that in church. I need to get a whisk, right.

So you take the whisk and you put it in the liquid and you

begin to repeatedly stir it. You got to keep repeating it,

and it stays liquid for a while. But then after a while it begins

to thicken. And the great thing about it

thickening this is that now I can really spread it.

See the liquid. If I put the liquid on her, it's

going to run down her nice coat and she's going to be mad.

Have to forgive me, right? But when I get the whipped

cream, I can take it. Put your hand out and put, put

some on your hand and now you get some.

Put your hand out. I can put some on your hand and

put something on your hand. The repetition increases the

thickness of the anointing and the presence of God on your

life. And as it gets thicker and

thicker and thicker, you can now take it and apply it.

And with sticking power to the things of your life, the people

in your life, the situations in your life, because you've taken

the time to let it thicken. Hey, man, so I just want to just

make a case for that so we can understand the power of what

repetition brings. And when you get tired, that's

why it's good to have partners because when you get tired, the

nail list help kick you in and then when they get tired, you'll

let's have kick them in and before long we've done.

That's why when we all get together here and we begin to

praise and worship God together, it's amazing because by the time

you get tired of singing the song, then it's hitting their

stride. And then when they take it to

nuts love you like, Oh, we there still OK, I get more rap make

any sense? Who's going to pray?

Father, we thank you for what you're doing.

Thank you for revelation. Thank you for the grace to

continue to endure and repeat and to endure and repeat God,

the things you've called us to do until it gets in us so deeply

that it becomes like a thick, rich, buttery kind of anointing

God that this plasters are alive and we can pass from one place

to the next. Father, you can praise the glory

for it. Father, we worship and adore you

God in Jesus name. Amen.
