Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
Amen. Keep your hand clap going for
-
the Lord. Thank you very much.
-
You know, when I grew up, when I grew up, when I grew up, I'm not
-
grown when I grew up, when I grew up, when I grew up, I was
-
in school, right? And so I'm in school, right?
-
And so I would do math, OK, And the teachers would always, even
-
have a seat. Teachers always say this, I want
-
to check your work. I want to check your work.
-
It wasn't enough to have the right answer.
-
I want to check your work. You got it.
-
So I want to check your work. OK, I want to check your work.
-
So if you have a everlasting supply of Donuts.
-
OK, what do you do when an everlasting supply of Donuts?
-
Do you give something to people? Do you share them?
-
Are you concerned about not having them?
-
Let me ask you this. When you have an everlasting
-
supply of Donuts, do you think you try to, like, try to test
-
it? I'm going to give 100 million
-
Donuts away. I still got more Donuts.
-
OK? I'm going to give 200 billion
-
Donuts away. I still got more Donuts, right?
-
You almost try to test to see if everlasting is really going to
-
be everlasting, don't you? OK, That's what you try to do.
-
So God's the same way. If you got an everlasting God,
-
then one of the ways you can demonstrate you have everlasting
-
God is by being faithful and giving.
-
You got it? If he had everlasting God, he
-
got an everlasting bag. Now I'm going to really flip the
-
script on you. God don't have an everlasting
-
bag. God is an everlasting bag.
-
You hear what I'm saying? I like that.
-
He was a little dip on that, right?
-
What does that mean for you? That means if God has
-
everlasting supply, you're giving demonstrates that.
-
I believe that I could continue to be generous this week, next
-
week, every week. Why?
-
Because my God got an everlasting supply.
-
OK, matter of fact, my giving demonstrates my faith in that
-
right? By dimming my giving
-
demonstrates that I will remain. My consistency in giving
-
demonstrates what? What's the other part of the
-
song? I'm doing a song, if you haven't
-
noticed. I will remain confident in this.
-
How do you remain confident? Remain is a present tense word.
-
I will be confident. I'm confident this week because
-
I gave this week. I'm confident next week.
-
Watch, Watch me give next week because the same God who's
-
everlasting from before is everlasting now.
-
This is really important to understand because when we say
-
we have an everlasting God and we are slow to give generously
-
into what God is doing, what we're saying is you're an
-
everlasting God. But I got to make sure I got
-
mine and I'm retaining mine. There's a verse that says
-
there's one who retains all and has little and one who gives
-
much and he hasn't and they have much.
-
Amen. So in that light, I also want to
-
encourage you as we finished up the rest of the year, how many
-
of you all are tithing? OK, how many of you all are
-
either tithing or committed to tithing?
-
Amen. Be faithful to that commitment.
-
Let's finish the year strong in terms of that and let God change
-
your life because in that consistency and that giving,
-
you're declaring the consistency of God's everlasting
-
faithfulness. You're literally speaking to the
-
attribute of God that people can see, right?
-
And everlasting is you're giving them a tangible way of viewing
-
that. And if you haven't committed to
-
tithing the rest of the year, I challenge you, make a decision,
-
investigate the process. Remember, I like I told you,
-
like if you have everlasting supply of Donuts, you try to
-
test it. I'm going to give you 100
-
billion Donuts and let's see if you run out.
-
Oh, there's more Donuts there, right?
-
In the same way God says prove me in this, see if I'm not as
-
everlasting, see if I don't have your back, see if I don't have
-
more than enough to care for you and love you and watch over you
-
right And watch also whether and see whether you're giving
-
connects your heart to me more. God doesn't need to do anything
-
to connect. His heart to you more than he
-
already has. He doesn't have to do anything.
-
It's fully connected in this earth because we have a battle
-
of masters of Mammon and of God. He understands one of the ways
-
we overcome Mammon or stuff trying to master us is to take
-
our stuff and put it in God's camp, right.
-
We hide. We hide the the Mammon in in the
-
Kingdom so that way the Kingdom can protect us from Mammon
-
coming after us. Amen.
-
So I encourage you to commit to to tie the rest of the year.
-
We're also finishing our in their campaign.
-
Everyone get big hand clap for the Remnant campaign.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
So we finished up the year strong.
-
We encourage you to be generous in the Remnant campaign as well,
-
right? Remember, you got to everlasting
-
God. You don't have to necessarily
-
pick or choose. If you have to choose.
-
Be faithful to tithing so you transform your way of living, of
-
generosity, and then as special needs come up, you'll be able to
-
give more generously into those. Before our Remnant campaign,
-
we're trying to finish up doing $350,000 for this next phase, if
-
you will, of our project. Make sure you go next door to
-
the building and see the progress.
-
Make sure you check it out and see that with that what God is
-
doing and you're a part of that. Touch the wood, you're part of
-
that. Your praise is apart, your
-
prayers are apart. Your giving is a part of that.
-
Make sure you go and do that. Hey, man, and let's finish this
-
work and finish this strong to be a witness, the sign of
-
wonder, the people when people ask you, how did you and Wally
-
finish that project? How did you and Wally do all
-
that kind of stuff? We had given up on Wally.
-
We didn't think Wally was everlasting, but we got served
-
an everlasting God to remember why he made Wally, and he's
-
faithful to the cause of why he made Wally.
-
He's putting the purpose in here for why he made Wally, so the
-
people can see that God is a God of Wally and they can look up on
-
what's happening and do it. Amen.
-
I'll close with this in terms of my remnant compel for you is
-
this. There'll be some generous ways
-
to give listed up there. So what is what's Paris known
-
for? What's New York known for?
-
Architecturalism. See, I did that.
-
They connected OK. There's a there is a a what,
-
what? What's Rome known for
-
architecturally? Coliseum.
-
There is a way where you can take a building and put
-
something on people's minds for generations to come.
-
You can identify a city with a structure so much so that the
-
structure begins to tell the people who the city is.
-
That makes sense. That's why it's important to
-
finish the remnant project. So that way when they get to
-
Wally, there'll be a picture of love Quest International worship
-
Center up there and say, Oh yeah, that's Wally.
-
Because that's the picture like Eiffel Tower Paris and and, and
-
and like that's your liberty is New York and like London Bridge
-
is London. They'll say, oh, love question,
-
that's Wally. And you notice people come from
-
all the way around to see those things because they identify
-
with them in Jesus name, Amen. Generous square giving,
-
generous, tightly giving, generous E transferring,
-
generous check, check checking, generous cash giving, Amen.
-
Do your soul a favor and be generous, Amen.
-
Amen. So I want to get get right into
-
this. We got a long day today.
-
Long on blessing, long on grace. Not long since.
-
Arduous, but there's a lot God wants to do.
-
Right. And what we're doing here in
-
this message is connecting directly to what we're going to
-
do in that water later on, OK? Because when people are getting
-
baptized, what they're saying is I'm not deceived anymore.
-
That's what they're saying. I once was deceived, but now I'm
-
not. I once was blind, but now I see
-
it's connected. OK, There there was a way of
-
thinking about life I used to live in, but I met Jesus and
-
Jesus transforming from the inside out.
-
And now I have a new way of seeing, a new way of thinking, a
-
new way of believing. So the message directly
-
connected to the activation of the message of the response in
-
terms of the water. Amen.
-
Amen. So I want to just jump right in
-
again. I want to thank our pastors for
-
the opportunity and the trust to share such weighty material in
-
this time. I'm always.
-
I was telling my son Adam earlier that, you know, I get
-
nervous doing this. You know, I do because it's
-
like, OK, Lord, it's not that God won't.
-
It's that God, I'm trying to do the best I can.
-
And when A and when a man is responsible for people's souls,
-
and he taps me on the shoulder and says John I.
-
Believe in you, but no God got a call on your life and they do
-
the Kingdom you've got to. That you've got to grow so go
-
for it. It, it just, it just the just
-
the, the privilege of that fills you with gratitude and awe and.
-
Repentance and responsibility and so many things that you
-
couldn't get any other way, but it gives it to you with your
-
head looking up now with your head looking down, which is
-
amazing. Amen.
-
So, pastors, thank you so very much.
-
In terms of what's? Going on, what's doing?
-
Our pastors are in the process of casting the vision.
-
For our church. A group of people who said we
-
want to support what you're doing.
-
There's a group of people back someplace across the border who
-
said come, we want to support what you're doing.
-
And so we so Amen. Amen.
-
It's something to be worthy. Praise, praise God for.
-
And let me tell you how powerful your giving has already been.
-
What he's showing them is a picture of what you've already
-
done. He's showing that our people
-
have already been investing. We're not asking you to invest.
-
We ask you to Co invest. Invest alongside of.
-
That's what your. Faithfulness has done and not
-
only that, but I believe more than receiving something from
-
people, they're being sent to give something to people.
-
To give hope that you can plant a church when people say you
-
can't. To give hope that where you can
-
plant it in the most broken down place people are ascribed to and
-
God can build and do something glorious.
-
The hope that if you follow and let the Spirit as a son, God
-
will bring people alongside of you to encourage you and to lift
-
up your arms. The hope you ready.
-
You know the biggest hope y'all had Y'all give people look
-
around it. Just turn your head and look
-
around at each other. What you see here, you don't see
-
no place else. Now what do you see here?
-
You don't see any place else the Bible says before the throne of
-
God in Revelation. There will be every trong, every
-
tribe, every generation, every age.
-
You all are the hope of what God's promised in in his word.
-
You're being here. So when he goes back and shows a
-
picture of y'all that's part of the church we are, it gives
-
those folks a hope that the promise God has can be realized.
-
We may have to stretch, we may have to grow, we may have to
-
love, we may have to be accountable.
-
But God can do it. Father, we thank you for your
-
favor and your grace upon our pastors that are there.
-
They speak words of wisdom and words of life.
-
Your anointing God, demonstrate that you are with them.
-
Demonstrate by your presence, demonstrate by your grace,
-
demonstrate by your power and their words by the love in their
-
eyes. Demonstrate God that you are
-
with them in that space and give them words to edify the leaders.
-
Give them words to uplift the people that are there.
-
Give them words that minister hope.
-
God, the river is flowing and let life flow from the river and
-
all the people that gathering around today.
-
In Jesus name, Amen. Amen.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
Amen, Amen. Amen.
-
Pastors, you know we love you and that's important because I
-
was using some of my preaching time for that.
-
Amen. The psychology of deception.
-
I'm going to. Review a little bit and get back
-
to the new news, right? It's kind of like TV.
-
We left here at a cliffhanger at 9:30 and you come back to the
-
next episode. They do a little review what
-
happened last episode, then get right into it.
-
Right. So I'm going to review by going
-
over the topical statements #1 the nature of deception reveals
-
the psychology of deception. So we talked about the ways
-
enemies trying to deceive give you another Jesus, another
-
spirit, another gospel, trying to trying to get you not to love
-
people because God is love. And when you grow cold in love,
-
you're going cold in God. When you become distant in love
-
to becoming distant in God try to deceive you about the Holy
-
Spirit. Why?
-
Because the Holy Spirit is the one who comes to live in our
-
hearts to put the love of God in our hearts.
-
So if you would like this with the Holy Spirit, tell it to my
-
hand. What you're doing is telling
-
stop. I don't want the love of God in
-
my heart. I don't want you in my heart
-
depositing the love of God in that way.
-
And when the Holy Spirit puts the love of God in your heart,
-
you also bring sonship and adoption in your heart.
-
It's knowing that you love. Perhaps you better see how God
-
values you as a child. So the deception is to get you
-
to deny the love of God so you can deny who you are as a son
-
and not even know God as a father.
-
That's all part of the deception.
-
If I know what you're trying to do, then I have a better sense
-
of your mindset and trying to get me to fall for it.
-
If I see it coming, then I got a sense of the mindset.
-
I need to avoid it and walk away from it right then.
-
Then we also said if the separate can separate you from
-
love, it can separate you from God because God is love.
-
I did summarize that deception separates you from love by
-
separating you from the Holy Spirit, because your love comes
-
by the Holy Spirit. Psychology now psychology of
-
deception. That's my charge.
-
But psychology is the meeting of mindsets.
-
It's when 2 mindsets meet together.
-
You can never have psychology on your own because you're not
-
autonomous. What does that mean You never
-
come up with nothing original. OK people were designed to be
-
dumb terminals. OK what's a dumb terminal?
-
Anyone know technology here? Computers.
-
A dumb terminal is a a box that only has no real intelligence.
-
They really be are just vehicles for what the mainframe is
-
telling them. I'm not running my own program.
-
I'm just letting the mainframe communicate to be the program to
-
run. We were always designed to be
-
LED. We was always designed to have
-
someone inside of us living to help lead us and guide us where
-
we need to go. OK, right.
-
With that being said, a psychology then is a meeting of
-
mindsets. The mindset of what's in you and
-
the mindset of what someone's coming at you with.
-
OK, so it's a meeting of mindsets.
-
Psychology is also a system that reinforces mindsets through
-
agency, truths, processes, and outcomes.
-
We we said particularly agency means.
-
What's the big fancy word for you?
-
Participate in it. Psychology requires you to
-
participate. You don't come up with stuff on
-
your own. You have to be involved with
-
someone giving it to you or someone bringing it to you.
-
And psychology is a system that reinforces mindsets through
-
agents of your participation, truths and quotes.
-
Why? Because it's the truth to you,
-
whether it's the truth or not, through processes and outcomes.
-
Now, when you see all of this, what it suggests to you is that
-
that psychology of any kind in particular takes time to build,
-
takes time to deepen, takes time for it to really take effect.
-
So the psychology of deception is when the mindset of the
-
deceiver and mindset of the deceived come into agreement,
-
the mindset of the deceiver and the mindset of the deceived come
-
into agreement. So the person who's deceived is
-
not a victim. The person who's deceived comes
-
into agreement with this active agreement or passive agreement.
-
They come into agreement with Deceiver.
-
OK man, what you doing? That little fat finger thing
-
happened. Fat finger.
-
My finger did two things at once.
-
That's what I meant. I heard.
-
I need to explain that I guess. OK.
-
And it's, and, and it's reinforced.
-
So psychology of deception is when the mindset of the deceiver
-
and the mindset of the deceived come into agreement and it's
-
reinforced through active participation, truth processes
-
and outcomes. Just a summarizing of all of
-
those things. Mindset is key.
-
Why? Because if I can get your
-
mindset, I can get everything you got.
-
I get your bloodline, I get your future, I get your past, I get
-
your present. I get, I get you everywhere you
-
go because wherever you go, your mindset goes with you.
-
If I can get you to hate yourself in 2 minutes, I don't
-
have to stand around hating you because you carry the hate for
-
yourself wherever you go, OK? So mindset is important.
-
Your mindset is your life, your bloodline, your eternity.
-
The deception or the deceiver does not 'cause the deception,
-
it merely explodes, it merely exposes it.
-
OK, what does that mean? Is deception already in you?
-
When deception comes, it really exposes the deception that's
-
already in you. That's important to know because
-
that again means that you have agency.
-
You participate in being deceived.
-
You've already deceived yourself on some levels, and that creates
-
the space within you to be deceived.
-
OK, got it. The deception or the deceiver
-
does not 'cause the deception, it merely exposes it.
-
It was already there. I want to go to James 113 and it
-
says this. Let no one say when he is
-
tempted. I am tempted from God, for God
-
is incapable of being tempted by what is evil, and he himself
-
tempts no one. Verse 14 But every person is
-
tempted when he's drawn away, enticed and baited by his own
-
evil desires. It's already in you.
-
You've already meditated on something you've already said.
-
Man, I'd like to get that. Here's an example of evil
-
desires and action from the scripture.
-
There was two sons. One son said, I want my money.
-
I want to go do what I want to do.
-
OK. Father said, fine, I give you
-
your money. Give the other son the money.
-
The one son took the money. He went out and he spit it on
-
righteous living. I'm not going to say partying
-
because partying belongs to God. Stop giving partying a bad name.
-
Let's reclaim that. He went out drinking and
-
drugging. He went out sleeping and
-
slumbering. He went out all of that doing
-
OK. We ran out of all that.
-
He came back home. Father saw him put a ring, put a
-
put a robe on him, put shoes on him, had a party and the other
-
son said this what's going on? You mean this guy went out and
-
used all of the here and that's how you receive him.
-
But he's just telling you, it was like man going through the
-
same thing, but I thought I would lose my inheritance and my
-
favorite with you, it seemed like they didn't lose it the
-
whole time. I already, the other son already
-
had the thoughts of the same thing in him.
-
It just had not produced the same way it had produced
-
separation from his father because his father said, don't
-
you even know me? It may not have produced
-
separation in terms of certain behaviors, but the same
-
separation that the one son had in leaving the other son hadn't
-
stayed because of the mindset that was inside of them.
-
OK, so deception works. The deceived participates from
-
something that they're already deceived by.
-
They've already yielded to deception.
-
They've already participated in building it on the inside that
-
deception is not an error, it's not a mistake.
-
It's not being tricked or being lost.
-
Well then, what is deception? We're going to get to that.
-
An error suggests a factual incorrectness.
-
You got a fact wrong. Your intention is right, but
-
your facts are just off. That's an error, OK.
-
You made the right judgment based on the facts.
-
It's that the reason the outcome is is inadequate because your
-
fact was wrong. Based on the facts I had, I made
-
the right judgment. So it's not an issue of error
-
judgment. It's an issue of error and
-
facts. That's what the error is, a
-
factual incorrectness. A mistake suggests judgment,
-
incorrectness. I got my facts clear, but how I
-
interpreted how they should be applied, I made a mistake.
-
Here's an example. You look at that street, got to
-
cross the street. Fact is, that car hit me.
-
It's going to be a whole lot of hurt.
-
I see how fast it's going. I know how fast I am.
-
I think I got this. You got it.
-
Then you cross the street. Well, in the story that I don't
-
like to eat, kill people, my examples.
-
OK, but the idea. But if something were to happen
-
in that point, it's not a error. It's a mistake.
-
My judgment was applied improperly.
-
I had all the facts correct. I knew my speed.
-
I could see the car. I judged that I would be able to
-
get through when I couldn't. OK, so a mistake is not
-
deception. Error is not deception.
-
Being tricked is not deception. Being tricked is the temporary
-
mistake in judgment based on partial truths that's connected
-
to the actions of others. You don't really trick yourself.
-
You need someone else to help trick you.
-
There's a partial truth they have.
-
They add it with a little something else and bring it to
-
the party. And what?
-
It's a temporary mistake in judgment.
-
OK, magicians doing something. So where is it?
-
It's in your hand. No, it's in my pocket.
-
Oh, I made a mistake in what I thought was happening there.
-
How I judge things were moving. OK, Partial truth connected.
-
Amen. But the intention of being
-
tricked is not to be tricked. It's to be truthful.
-
That's those what separates those elements.
-
No one says trick me trick me, trick me please trick.
-
Me. Trick me.
-
No one says that. That's the guys in the subway
-
who lose all their money to the three car money anyway.
-
Being lost is a recognition of an extended error, mistake based
-
on partial truths. I mean, in order to be lost, you
-
have to already know the truth. If someone's driving to Chicago
-
and they're heading north, but they don't know that Chicago's
-
not N they're not lost. They think they're right.
-
It's not that someone tells you, bro.
-
Chicago the other way. Oh, because of the truth.
-
I see now that I'm lost, OK, And I've been on this extended
-
journey of this for a long time. Does that make sense?
-
Lost means I've been on an extended journey, if you will,
-
of error or mistake, but I've come to recognize it based on a
-
confrontation with full truth or revelation.
-
That's what being lost is, being lost, not being deceived.
-
So what's deception? Welcome to today's episode.
-
Deception is a mindset and practice allegiance to a lie and
-
the partial truth is based on. OK Deception is a mindset and
-
practice allegiance. Remember, mindset and system
-
practice allegiance to a lie and the partial truth.
-
You're not trying to get the whole truth because the partial
-
truth serves you and living your life.
-
I have an allegiance to the lie and the partial truth is based
-
on got it. It refutes account, refuses
-
accountability. Full truth of revelation.
-
Deception is saying I don't want to be corrected.
-
I ain't trying to be corrected. The lie and the partial truth is
-
serving me. Deception responds to truth this
-
way. I don't think you have it right
-
because my truth says this deception is like pride.
-
It can't even, I won't say it can't see.
-
And put it this way, pride can't see itself in a different way.
-
Pride is more about how I think I how I think I can do stuff.
-
Attributes deception is we're going to get to this war with
-
identity. Both of them.
-
The very nature of them make it difficult for you to discover
-
them. That's why you need intervention
-
from God to deal with them. Amen.
-
Deception is a mindset and practice allegiance to a lie.
-
Being tricked or loss is based on error or mistake about what
-
you think God has done. Being tricked is about what God
-
has done. Being lost is about what God has
-
done. The I want to flip something
-
real quick, but deception is different.
-
Put that next slide up. Deception.
-
No, not that one, the one before that.
-
OK, you didn't get the download on the new one.
-
Let me Here we go. Again, being tricked to loss is
-
based on error, mistake about what you think God has done.
-
But being deceived is based on a continual allegiance to a lie
-
about who God is. Deception is based on a
-
continual allegiance to a lie. And the partial truth is based
-
on about who God is. Deception is coming after
-
identity, not outcome. If I can deceive you about who
-
God is, I don't have to deceive you about the outcomes that God
-
produces. Deception is coming after
-
identity, not outcomes. OK, the Bible says this.
-
We're going to talk about this, the story of Adam and Eve in the
-
garden. Bible says that the woman was
-
deceived, but the man was not. The woman was deceived, but the
-
man was not. So in essence, what it says is
-
the woman was deceived, but Adam rebelled, Adam 1 deceived, Adam
-
just rebelled, Adam just and what you going to do about it?
-
OK. That's why sin injured because
-
of Adam, not Eve. Death injured because of Adam,
-
not Eve. Death reigned because of Adam,
-
not Eve, because the woman was deceived.
-
And being deceived doesn't mean you die, OK?
-
It does mean you have to get some things corrected in order
-
to live, but it was Adam that wasn't deceived.
-
Want to go to Genesis 3 verse 3. So we're going to break this
-
down as Adam and Eve thing. It's not a serpent that was more
-
subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field
-
which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, can it
-
really be that God has said you should not eat from every tree
-
of the garden? Can it really be that God has
-
said, now this is really interesting to me.
-
Who did God give instructions to about what to eat in the garden?
-
How does how does the Satan, the serpent know that even the
-
conversation was had? It's the way you think.
-
The serpent was no Marco Polo. That means you're not there yet.
-
You just like you. Pull up Marco Pulley, who's Come
-
find me. Come closer.
-
Not just in the garden. It was present at the
-
conversation, right? Present either, at the
-
conversation, original, at the conversation, repeated.
-
When Adam repeated it. The serpent was there.
-
Adam understood the serpent was there.
-
Adam understood the context of the serpent.
-
The woman wasn't there yet because he hadn't taken them out
-
of the sides. She was there, spirit, but she
-
wasn't there physical yet. Adam was there.
-
He knew the serpent. He knew.
-
He knew like man. OK, OK.
-
Adam had to name all the things, didn't he?
-
Bible says God passed all the animals and things before Adam
-
right now. Adam named them this.
-
He said y'all tigers, male and female.
-
Y'all goats, male and female, right?
-
Adam named everything, right? God told him you have control of
-
all the plants and everything, right?
-
So presumptively Adam had to knew this alpha tree, OK, right.
-
So when the serpent shows up, either he goes this what is
-
this? I ain't named it and God ain't
-
told me what it was or I know who you are, you got it.
-
So either he knew or he should have known because he hadn't
-
named it and God, he told him about it.
-
OK, so in that moment at the serpent deceived and either he
-
knew what was happening with Eve was like, you know, or he didn't
-
know and should have known. But he's like.
-
I think I got this one. I don't need God help with this.
-
Either way, he's I'm doing my own thing.
-
OK, so Adam rebelled so that serpent said this can't really
-
be that God has said you should not eat from every tree of the
-
garden. Now, now don't be caught up in
-
it being a snake. Sometimes the word serpent can
-
mean used to describe the attribute of the entity.
-
OK, you got it. If I saw somebody that said man,
-
you a snake didn't really hit the ground, start doing like
-
this. Stop all y'all delivers people.
-
Stop. OK.
-
But what I'm saying is, no, it's an attribute.
-
And he says, what more subtle, beguiling.
-
That's a Serpentine attribute. OK, So it may have been the
-
figure of an Angel that that the Angel body.
-
I don't know. Don't I don't get caught up
-
whether it was a snake or not. OK, He says, can it really be
-
the God that said you should not eat from every tree?
-
The woman said to the serpent, we may eat the fruit of the
-
trees of the garden, except the fruit of the tree which is in
-
the middle of the garden. God has said you should not eat
-
of it, neither shall you touch it lest you die.
-
She's just giving her understanding of the what's
-
being described, right? OK, Now the Bible also says that
-
after they ate, she turned and gave to Adam.
-
Adam is there. The whole conversation.
-
She just said like, I got to go run and get my husband some Adam
-
right there. She turned.
-
Dee Corona, come up here real quick now.
-
She's not, you know, she she has a petite form.
-
Come up on the side. She's not easy.
-
She's not easy. She's not easy.
-
Dee Corona. Dee Corona.
-
Dee Corona. This is my ACT.
-
This is my ACT, OK? This is my ACT.
-
OK, But she's telling you who she is right now.
-
She's a fairly petite woman. Look at the length of her arm.
-
OK, so she got the fruit. Amen.
-
If she got the fruit and turned and gave it to Adam, he's at
-
least this close. He's at least.
-
I'm just trying to show you Adam's proximity.
-
OK. Anybody push up on my wife as a
-
husband? I'm like, yo, bro.
-
OK. All right.
-
Exactly. Thank you.
-
Go ahead. Thank you, Deacon.
-
I'm trying to give you the proximity.
-
He was there. OK, now it says this can it?
-
This is what the serpent said. Can it really be that God has
-
said question? You should not eat from every
-
tree of the garden. What's the phrase You shall not
-
eat from every tree? Go to Genesis chapter 2, verse
-
16. You may freely eat of every
-
tree. One word flipped is part of the
-
deception. Remember a lie based on a
-
partial truth. The serpent said.
-
Did he say you shall not eat from every tree?
-
God said You may freely eat of every tree.
-
I mean, you got permission to do what you want.
-
Where'd the shell come in? But you shall not eat of this
-
one, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and
-
blessingly calamity. He told them what the
-
consequence was. You shall not eat, for in the
-
day of it you should surely die. What he's saying is there is.
-
I'm not telling you you can't eat from it.
-
I'm telling you that if you eat of it, you're surely going to
-
die. Bro, it's up to you.
-
How do you know that? Because it says May in the first
-
line. May is permissive.
-
You can eat from whatever you want.
-
You can eat from the death tree, the life tree.
-
It's your choice, right? But I'm telling you, if you eat
-
from that one, you should surely die.
-
So I'm telling you you shouldn't eat from that one because you're
-
going to wind up dying. It's going to do these things,
-
but they're going to lead to death.
-
That's what God said. So you see how the deceiver took
-
a partial truth and put a lie on it?
-
You shall not eat from every tree when God says you may
-
freely eat from every tree. This is critical.
-
God said I'm giving you everything the enemy posted as
-
He's keeping it from you. You shall not versus you may
-
freely. How do you see the direction of
-
God? You shall not, or you may freely
-
God, you shall not fornicate outside your marriage or even
-
even marriage. Before marriage you should not
-
have a you have adultery. You keeping all the pleasure
-
from me or are you? Keeping something for me.
-
How do you perceive the command and direction of what God is
-
saying? Ready.
-
Deception goes to identity. If I believe you keeping from
-
me, then I believe you're not for me.
-
And if you're not for me, you don't love me.
-
I can't trust you, and therefore I got to make up my own way.
-
I'll live that way because I believe you can't trust me.
-
I can't trust you, and I believe you don't love me, OK?
-
And getting the corrupt God's love for you is more important
-
than what God does for you. If a loving father does
-
something corrupt for their child, the child can say that
-
action was corrupt. He gave me vanilla ice cream
-
when I like chocolate. But I know my father loves me
-
and I know he knows what my favorite flavor is because I
-
know he loves me. I know he loves me and act that
-
I may think is corrupt, get swept to the side and properly
-
contact it because I know he loves me.
-
But if I get corrupted in that, he don't love you.
-
Yeah. And that's why you gave me
-
vanilla, because you don't love me.
-
And that's why you're not for me, because you don't love me.
-
Now, if I can corrupt the love, it corrupts everything that
-
flows from the love without you having to go and deal with every
-
individual instance. It caused you to question the
-
doubts when he walks through the door and says I got something
-
for you. I know you don't love me, so
-
must be a curse is coming right? So the Eden is trying to corrupt
-
that love of God in terms of that and it says this Genesis 3,
-
but the serpent said to the woman you should not surely die
-
for God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be
-
open. He already told him that he's
-
not giving the information, but you see because it's postured
-
after a question. He suggests.
-
I know stuff that you don't see. God ain't trying to tell you
-
this. I'm letting you know what's
-
going to happen. God's keeping information from
-
you. You got it.
-
So again, Eve wouldn't have been around for the direction.
-
So the question is, did Adam tell Eve?
-
Adam must've she? Eve must have known, found out
-
about somehow, because she wasn't physically there at the
-
time, right? So you must have said something
-
to her. Did He say it right?
-
She said right, that they repeat the prophetic word without
-
adding any color to it. So they got it straight.
-
Did they begin to add color to it when they heard it the first
-
time? If you know, you know, and you
-
will be like God. Here's part of the deception.
-
He says if you do that, you will be like God.
-
Now remember when God talked about not eating, eating that
-
fruit? He didn't say you're going to be
-
like me. He didn't add that part to it.
-
Everything else the enemy put here, God told her already and
-
you're going to be like God, right?
-
Genesis 326 God said let us Father, Son and Holy Spirit make
-
mankind in our image after our likeness.
-
So God created man in his own image, in the image and likeness
-
of God. He created him.
-
Well, he was still inside of Adam.
-
Come on now. Male and female, He created
-
them. Though she was not physically
-
apart from him at that. In the reference to that time he
-
already had told her. You and my image and likeness as
-
well. The enemy trying to convince Eve
-
of something she already got. She don't.
-
God trying to withhold identity from you.
-
He's trying to deny you who you are.
-
He don't want you to really understand who he is.
-
He's trying to keep stuff from you.
-
You can't trust him. Who told you you'd be like God
-
now? You got it.
-
And then based on those deceptions and tricks and those
-
kind of things, Genesis 3C36 says this.
-
And when the women thought that the tree was good for food and
-
it was delightful to look at, she knew that already.
-
God already told them you may eat of it, which means this or
-
eat the food tree. She knew it.
-
You know God don't do JT's work, right?
-
She knew the tree looked good. That's why I got to be aware of
-
deception because it just Jezebel got dressed in the
-
finest for a reason because Jehu knew God don't make some janky
-
stuff a tree to be desired in order to make one wise.
-
Where did that come from? You can be like God.
-
You see how the deception is now?
-
There's wisdom I don't have, the stuff I don't have.
-
God didn't give me everything to be like him.
-
There's a wisdom I need that He didn't give me.
-
So now she's adding something to it.
-
Partial truth lie based on partial truth and she took of
-
his fruit and ate and she gave some also to her husband and he
-
ate. That's called allegiance.
-
Now I'm going to do it, but I'm going to try to get everyone
-
else I know to do the same. She don't turn to say Adam man,
-
is that true what he said because she said I got this.
-
I don't need your invention, Adam, I got this.
-
I'm going to do my own thing, separation from God, that God
-
loves you. All those kind of things come
-
into play. Trick or lost, people are
-
willing to change, deceive people or not.
-
It's called the love, humility and accountability factor.
-
What keeps you from being deceived?
-
Love, humility and accountability.
-
So the psychology of deception is to keep you from a place of
-
having love, humility, accountability.
-
The psychology of deception says you can do it on your own, man.
-
Are you good as anybody else? Who was you?
-
I know they, the pastor, you can preach.
-
Good as them, where they come from.
-
How do you know what makes them so much better than you?
-
You got the Holy Ghost too. You got everything too.
-
You don't need nobody else, man. They don't even understand what
-
your gifts are. You got it.
-
Trying to separate you from accountability and humility.
-
That's the first thing. I'm going to do that before I
-
drop a deception on you. So I give you the deception.
-
It's like giving you the stink bomb before I had your nose to
-
climatize the bad smells. If I'm going to drop a stink
-
bomb in your life, I'll walk you past garbage yards and junk
-
yards for a while first, OK? I take you to eat blue cheese.
-
They got that little smell to it.
-
I take you to eat black mushroom fungus.
-
Shout out to my family because they got that little smell to
-
it. Salty fish because they got a
-
smell to it. Now you're used to kind of
-
pungent smells. When I drop a stink garbage bomb
-
in your life, you receive it better.
-
OK. I don't lead with the deception.
-
I lead with the changing of your willingness, the accountability.
-
I start to make you look less accountable first.
-
Then I'm going to drop deception in on you, right?
-
And you don't want the accountability.
-
It feels good to not have that accountability, to be free.
-
So you participate in it. That's why the deception takes.
-
Man, you know, there's a freedom in the word.
-
You know, why would this is free, don't you?
-
Yeah. The question what he's saying is
-
because you know you're not as free as you want to be here.
-
You're right, man, you're right. You see me, you see me.
-
I'm glad someone sees me. Deception.
-
So the deceiver, there's steps, Deceivers and the deceiver have
-
deceiver. Step one, deceiver.
-
Step one is to meet you where you are, to come to you.
-
The serpent came to Eve. You will never willingly go
-
someplace to get deceived. Deception got to come to your
-
door. Which means what?
-
You leave doors open, You leave windows open, You leave
-
invitations open, You let people stay too long.
-
Deception always comes to you. And if it's coming to you, it's
-
going to come. How?
-
Not as a stranger, because a stranger, you know, to be aware
-
of it comes with it comes to do something for you that you want
-
to have done. It comes in a place of utility
-
or or mammon of some sort. Why do you get in a Uber?
-
Because it's giving you a ride, not because it's a stranger
-
picking you up. It does.
-
It's doing something for me. OK, so so when it comes, that's
-
how that's how it comes. Step one.
-
Meet you where you are. Come to you.
-
How does that? How does that play out?
-
I'm your friend. I understand you folk at this
-
other trip, they don't understand you.
-
I get you. You know, I feel sometimes that
-
I feel agitated. What are you?
-
I feel agitated like you. I'm coming to you, OK?
-
Step one. Step 2.
-
Deceiver is to separate you from others.
-
While we go, have coffee, just you and me.
-
While we go out, just you and me.
-
OK, well, why don't we go ask the person who just knew in
-
church to go with us, not the elder who'd been here a long
-
time. They can tell us the truth.
-
Now you're with someone else, but you're effectively just you
-
and me. OK, separate you from others.
-
If the serpent is here, it's Bible says that Eve turned and
-
gave to her husband. So there's a there's a
-
suggestion that she's this way. Does that make sense?
-
OK, because he turned and gave the enemy speaking this way,
-
separating contact and intimacy with her husband.
-
I just want to talk to you on this side over here.
-
Can you come talk to me over here real quick?
-
You know, some people talk to you when you're like, your
-
spouse ain't around all the time.
-
You know, some people wait until accountability.
-
People ain't around to come talk to you, separate you from
-
others. Deceiver.
-
Step 3. The deceiver must show
-
themselves to be trustworthy from another context.
-
My first thing in deception is to show you I'm trustworthy, not
-
to deceive you. How did the serpent do that in
-
the Adam and Eve story? Has God said so?
-
What does that tell her? Oh, you know who?
-
God. Is so God ain't a stranger to
-
you? So if you know who God is and I
-
know who God is, I guess I can trust you because you say God
-
trust them who God is. You know, because God said I
-
know God talk. I know God made all the trees
-
trust me. I, I, I met on the end with you.
-
You trust me. So they try to get trust to
-
themselves from another context. That's why you got to be aware
-
of familiar spirits. You come to a church and someone
-
trying to say, Hey, you like snowboarding like I do.
-
I pick snowboard because that's my son, not here to see, but
-
it's safe. I don't want to get anyone upset
-
and leave the church on my example.
-
So I said, baby, you like snowboarding.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, man, I know a lot
-
about snowboarding. You know the truth about
-
snowboarding. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
You know, the pastors, they're trying to control you.
-
Well, you've been truthful about snowboarding.
-
I guess you're telling me the truth about this too, because I
-
know you'd be trustworthy in a different context.
-
And the familiar context, whether it's the church hurt
-
context, step #4 present truth in part.
-
The sea was lead with truth, man.
-
You know you're born to be great.
-
Yeah, because that's the truth. God made you to be great.
-
Man, that's psycho Babble. That's that kind of thing.
-
Go to the Bible, get Jesus. The Father says I shall make
-
your name great. I shall make you famous.
-
It was God's idea to put you, to make you go viral, not the
-
devil's idea anyway. Present truth in part.
-
What does that mean? Withholding information,
-
creating false. This is psychology and
-
deceiving, right? These steps are like, how am I
-
trying to get your mindset ready to be impregnated with deception
-
so that way it corrupts your thinking so you carry it with
-
you, perpetuating it as you go. Where does the allegiance to the
-
lie come from? Not from the data of deception
-
from the person who gave it to you.
-
This is my friend, this is my friend.
-
My allegiance to the lie comes to my allegiance to the person.
-
This is my friend. They know me, they get me.
-
They brought me here. When no one else answers my
-
call, they do allegiance to the person.
-
So you withhold information, you create a false impression in
-
what the what the serpent said. All of the data in there was the
-
data that was in what God said. But they tweaked this and
-
tweaked that to give a false impression about who God was and
-
what His intent was. You ready for this?
-
I'm not saying they trying to control people.
-
That's not what I'm saying, but that did tell you exactly what
-
they're saying. Misleading, create a fault.
-
I'm not trying to say they're trying to control people, but
-
you know, I mean, they do things that's different.
-
You know, some people might call it control.
-
I don't. But I'm trying to create a false
-
impression with you right now by dropping control five times and
-
truth just once, misrepresenting the past, present or the future.
-
Talked about this at the earlier message.
-
You are not a Sinner saved by grace.
-
You're born again, you're new, you're a son or your daughter.
-
You've always been a son or a daughter in God's eyes.
-
That's why he gave a son for a son, gave a son for a daughter.
-
If he always saw you, was a Sinner saved by grace you to put
-
you in the trash where sin belongs.
-
He made you this image and his likeness.
-
You always bore his identity. He got if you and God's image
-
and likeness, and you say I'm a Sinner, then you say God's image
-
is a Sinner because he's made in it.
-
That's that's not right. Deception, partial lie, but
-
truth. Why do you have such allegiance
-
to believe in? That.
-
You're not a Sinner saved by grace.
-
Because I believe me when I tell me I'm unworthy.
-
I got allegiance to my own doubts, my doubt talk.
-
Because when I was a kid growing up, my mom told me I was a
-
Sinner saved by grace. I got allegiance.
-
To my mom and to throw that out and to throw my mom out, Oh my
-
dad out. The allegiance to it.
-
So misrepresenting the past, present of the future through
-
the use of a question to question your identity, God's
-
identity, God's love or God's goodness.
-
Have God really said you shall not this God man.
-
You think you think God can really love someone who's done
-
something that's really horrible?
-
The question question bomb. Make people earn the right to
-
put questions in your presence. Deceive step one, that's
-
deceiver steps. Now we're on the deceive steps.
-
Now these have already occurred before the deceiver shows up
-
because if deceiver ain't looking for a fight, they're
-
looking for a mark, they're looking for a target.
-
I ain't looking to have to wrestle through this thing
-
because why? Because once we start wrestling,
-
you may wrestle your way to the truth.
-
So I don't want to wrestle with you.
-
I want to know you're going to take it when I get it.
-
So I want to see you already deceived.
-
How you know you already deceived by how you talk about
-
yourself. You know, I'm just going to say
-
about grace. I think we got one deceived,
-
bro. Yeah, I've been saved since
-
Also, I'm just going to say about I think we got one to
-
casually know what God has said or to deceive yourself.
-
Step one for the deceived to casually know James one do not
-
merely listen to the to the word and so deceive yourselves.
-
Do what it says you deceive yourself when you just listen to
-
the word and don't do it. That opens the door for you to
-
be deceived. The casual listen to the word
-
Eve's recitation of what God said was a casual response, a
-
casual listening. It wasn't accurate.
-
She didn't check it. She didn't go back to Adam O to
-
God as a source. She said, I think I kind of
-
understand what it says for myself and I I casual
-
relationship with the word. It is the first place because
-
you deceive yourself to thinking you know something that you
-
don't. I'm going to tell you this.
-
You may meet this woman, Elder Roseanne, but I know this woman.
-
You see the difference? Some of you may casually met her
-
or Noah casually from Instagram. That'll mean you know her like I
-
know her. Casually with the word Step 2.
-
For the deceived, you prioritize results over identity first.
-
John 2 talks about the flesh, the lust of the flesh, the lust
-
of the eyes, the pride of life, assurance in one's own resources
-
or in the stability of earthly things.
-
That's mammon all day. OK, folks are outcome rather
-
than identity. That's how you get deceived.
-
If I listen, I know my wife loves me and I know her.
-
Come up and tell me something. Come up and tell me.
-
Yeah, I heard your wife saying, man, you no good, brother.
-
Come on now. Because I know her.
-
Now she may say I'm no good at doing dishes.
-
I might argue with that, but that might be true.
-
But to say it. But to say that I'm no good.
-
I know her. I know I should talk how she say
-
it. She said that you are really no
-
good. Shouldn't talk like that if you
-
know I shouldn't use that sentence structure when I know
-
her. It's hard for you to trick me
-
about what's being said. When I focus on outcomes, when I
-
focus on what I can get, I can be tricked and deceived by an
-
outcome from someone that doesn't have their intent and
-
heart. My best my have me in the best
-
intent. Jesus says this John 17, that
-
all of them may be one father, just as you are one in me and I
-
am in you, that they may be one as we are one identity.
-
Jesus about identity. You don't put accomplishment and
-
stuff over identity when you elevate identity.
-
It's more important for me to be a son than for me to be wealthy
-
keeps from being deceived. It's more important for me to
-
have a good father, son relationship that keeps me going
-
to the Father and keep the Father in my life to help me and
-
guide me and lead me. I perceive Step 3 is to believe
-
you know better and you got it. Now I know better.
-
I got this already. We already talked about that
-
with Adam, but I want to give you an Eve.
-
Galatians 3 says this. Basically, who's this who's
-
who's deceived you, bewitched you.
-
How is it you begun your new life in the Spirit and now we're
-
trying to reach perfection by the flesh.
-
That's the God I got us from here.
-
You save me by grace, but I'm going to get it finished in my
-
works. You save my grace, but I'm going
-
to prosper by grind. You save me my grace, but I'm
-
going to make sure my salvation is secure by serving.
-
Who's tricked you into thinking it starts by grace but finished
-
with works? Who's tricked you in terms of
-
that? Four, Take success out of
-
context and have too little gratitude.
-
Deuteronomy 8 says this. And beware lest you say in your
-
mind, my power in the might of my hand have gotten me this.
-
Well, God's brought people into place of provision.
-
Be watchful of you taking credit for what I've done.
-
Be watchful of you not being grateful, watchful of the
-
success time. If I can get you off on success,
-
I can get you off in in in downtime.
-
If I can get you taking more of the credit than you deserve,
-
then when they don't come, then you'll take more of the blame
-
than you deserve the credit. Times where I get you, not the
-
not the downtime, it's the credit time.
-
We're not seeing it coming. I gas you up and get your
-
thinking off and your understanding off.
-
Not like now that you've got to leakage to my error because of
-
my relationship when the downtime comes and I tell you,
-
man, you're just no good with that.
-
I guess you're right. Deceive.
-
Step 5 is to shun accountability.
-
Deuteronomy 8 says not Deuteronomy.
-
This is this is Ephesians. Before I believe.
-
And his gifts were varied. He himself appointed, gave men
-
something to be apostles and prophets and evangelists and and
-
pastors and teachers. He gave these people for
-
accountability. Why do you give these people?
-
How do you know all of these offices are still in operation?
-
That's a bigger conversation. Go get Pastor Terrence Book
-
crowned. He goes through it very well.
-
Maybe you can get him at the back of the day.
-
You can at least order it. It's well worth your read and
-
your time. OK, but he did these for the day
-
because they're bringing accountability to the body.
-
What does accountability produce, ultimately, Verse 14,
-
so that you may no longer be children, tossed to and fro
-
between chance gust of teaching and wavering with every changing
-
wind of doctrine That sounds like so.
-
You won't be deceived when the wind is blowing.
-
I put these people as accountability for you, to teach
-
you, to train you, to help you so you can grow to a place of
-
maturity, so you don't be deceived.
-
Their goal is not to teach you how to do.
-
Their goal is to teach you who you are in God, who you are in
-
identity, because if you have your identity, you won't be
-
deceived. I can.
-
Everyone in this room could come into this woman and tell her you
-
are not Roseanne. You.
-
Ruby was not your mother. You can't.
-
I know who I am. It's too late.
-
I can come to her and tell her. You are not Roseanne John.
-
You're my husband. I love you, but I know who I am.
-
Even my closest Allegiant partner can't deceive me because
-
I know who I am. Ready.
-
I know who I was born of. I know who my father is.
-
Accountability has come to help strengthen you in this, and I
-
want to close with this. Don't think deception is just
-
for fools. Fools can be deceived.
-
But the Bible says beware the simple too.
-
What's the simple? I don't know, I just I'm just
-
not trying to know anything. I'm just trying to be basic and
-
simple and I don't want a complicated life and I just
-
want. The simple can be deceived and
-
devoured as much as the fool can.
-
And the simple is worse because it's simple.
-
They they've been around the block enough to know gain, so
-
they really believe it. They really, really believe it's
-
the truth. The fool go, I'm a fool, so I
-
know. Let me check the game out and
-
see if it's really good. Oh, it had to be a good
-
deception to get me. The simple can be deceived by
-
small ones, not trick deceived. Deceived into living a life with
-
allegiance to a lie based on a partial truth that cause you to
-
doubt the identity of God. How does God deceive?
-
We're going to pray. He closes with prayer.
-
'Cause God to see he causes a relative to molest you and then
-
say where's? God.
-
He don't love you. Where is it causes a parent to
-
die before their time. God left you abandoned.
-
You know, he could do something about it.
-
Where's it in the Bible? Lazarus sisters?
-
The one who you loved, you see? If you really loved him, you'd
-
come right now, and if you don't, clearly you don't love
-
him then I guess. And what you, who you've?
-
Been to us is a lie, and that's your fault.
-
Then you deceive her. In this moment, we're going to
-
pray for all the ways that wounds and brokenness.
-
The enemies use that to cause us to have allegiance to a partial
-
truth and a lie. The truth is, yeah, my daddy
-
should have molested me. The lie is that God didn't care.
-
I want to speak to this very quick without being too callous.
-
Why would God let that happen? Because God knows who you are,
-
He knows who He is, and He knows the redemptive power of His
-
identity in your life. There's no damage a man can put
-
on you that God's identity living it.
-
You can't redeem this all. Remember I said thankfulness
-
earlier? God, why you putting me in the
-
family and it abused me. That wasn't my first choice.
-
But you know, there's a whole bunch of other families that
-
didn't want you, so I couldn't get you into the womb.
-
As broken as this family was, at least they said yes to the
-
moment because I knew I could redeem the moment into something
-
better once I got you in. I don't want to be calloused
-
with that, you know what I'm saying?
-
So, Father, we're going to pray right now, people, if you pray,
-
pray for people, you can just sit in your seat.
-
You can bow your head. Father, we thank you and we're
-
and we're rebuking all the deceptionist about how you love
-
us, how we're your children. Let's come through brokenness
-
and behavior. We're not so bad that you don't
-
want to be a daddy to us anymore.
-
We're not so broken that we can't be loved.
-
We're not so messed up or delayed that we can't walk in
-
who you've called us to be. We haven't been so slow.
-
I've been so just deceived and so on our own that when we come
-
through the door. You turn your nose.
-
Off at us and just like. Maybe I wish they weren't here.
-
We thank you, God. We break those deceptions that
-
have come in by hurt, come in by brought misplaced influence and
-
misplaced allegiance to people. Follow me.
-
Break the power of every deception that causes us to
-
doubt your love for us, who you are and who we are in you.
-
We break the power of every deception that causes the doubt,
-
the life, work and ministry of the Holy Spirit who's come to
-
minister their love to us and to bring us into relationship with
-
You as a follower. We thank you Lord, that all of
-
those are broken. Father, we repent of how we've
-
given ourselves to those lies, how we've continued to choose
-
the lie and maintain allegiance to it even when truth was
-
presented. Jesus, we know that You came to
-
walk the earth in physical form with people where they could
-
talk to you and and touch you. She would feel you.
-
And people still chose to have allegiance to a lie, even though
-
love Incarnate was present because the lie gave them power.
-
The lie gave them position. The lie gave them control over
-
their life, so to speak. So Father, we thank you that we
-
repent. If that's you, just nod your
-
head. Just we repent for every way
-
we've agreed with deception that everywhere we've deceived
-
ourselves and participated in being deceived because it was
-
working something for us that we thought you didn't care about
-
and couldn't provide is working something for us that prevented
-
us from having to trust you and be vulnerable to you and give
-
our lives and yield to you. We thank you God love, cast out
-
all fear so you flood our hearts and our lives with love to all
-
the broken places, to the deceived places.
-
God, you open our eyes to see. Father, you said to Peter, Jesus
-
said, my Father has revealed this to you, not flesh and
-
blood. Father, Father us reveal your
-
love and our hearts right now in the places where deception lies.
-
Father, Father, us, reveal your identity and who we are on you
-
in the places where deception. Lies.
-
Father, Father us reveal who the Holy Spirit is and how You sent
-
Him to be with us, and we can trust them and we can walk with
-
Him. He wants to lead us and guard us
-
and guide us and laugh with us and rejoice with us.
-
Father, Father us and send the Holy Spirit in a special way to
-
those areas that we've cut off. Father, we don't know how to be
-
undeceived, so we put ourselves into Your care to allow Your
-
power, Your Spirit to do the work for us.
-
And then once we are free, we commit to walk with you so we
-
can continue to walk free of deception all the days of our
-
life. Because we know you love us, we
-
know your Father, and we know you're a children in Jesus name.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
Amen. If you've received something,
-
give. God, a head clap to the level.
-
That you receive. Give God a hand clap to the
-
level that you received. Give God a hand clap to the
-
level that your neighbor has received.
-
Give God a hand clap to the level.
