Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

It's go time, let's get into it. A great deception.
-
Let's lock in. Let's focus.
-
It's the fourth quarter, Just a few minutes left.
-
What I'm about to read. You guys don't need to go to the
-
next slide because this is not on there.
-
I'm reading from Romans 7. As you listen, please take
-
notes. But as you're taking notes,
-
don't just merely write down everything I'm saying.
-
Like have your pen ready to hear what the Holy Spirit wants to
-
say on the back of what I'm saying.
-
Can't say you have my attention, but I'm not prepared to pin.
-
Can you imagine Moses going in the mountain like I ain't
-
writing nothing down? Imagine any of the apostles or I
-
ain't writing them down? This rich word that we get was
-
written by the Holy Spirit. Do you think that those notes
-
you got to take notes like you're writing for the next
-
generation? And if all you can leave them is
-
the binder and there's no more Bibles, but they inherit your
-
notes, what would you leave them?
-
You got to write with clarity like your little niece, like
-
your little your future children.
-
Like what would it look like for you to one day when your
-
children get of age? You don't even have kids.
-
But I'm trying to get you to think like the Hall of Faith
-
did. Think about your children that
-
are coming into this world that you're praying for, correct.
-
OK. And then think about one day you
-
going to sit on their lap, say 25 years from now, 30 years from
-
now, you're going to sit on your lap or y'all going to sit on the
-
couch and you're going to pull, you know, people have photo
-
albums from back in the day and you're going to pull out all
-
these notes. You're going to sit down and be
-
like, man, 30 years ago I remember that message, you know,
-
because the word transcends. So the word that's preached
-
today is for sure going to be relevant in another season.
-
Take take notes like 5 generations is dependent on you.
-
You shouldn't have any trouble understanding this, friends, for
-
you know all the ends and outs of the law.
-
How it works and how it's power touches only the living.
-
Check it out for for instance, a wife is legally tied to her
-
husband while he lives, but if he dies, she's free.
-
If she lives with another man while her husband is living,
-
she's obviously an adulteress, but if he dies, she is quite
-
free to marry another man in good.
-
Conscience don't get no ideas, ladies.
-
With no one's disapproval. So my friends, this is something
-
like what has taken place with us.
-
When Christ died, he took that entire rule dominated way of
-
life down with him and left it in the tomb, leaving his bride
-
free to marry. A resurrection life and bear
-
offsprings of faith for God. For for as long as we lived the
-
old way of life, doing whatever we felt we could get away with,
-
sin was calling most of the shots as the old law code hemmed
-
us in. Let's make this relevant to
-
today. Anybody in here that lives how
-
they want to, you need the 10 commandments.
-
You are a believer that is still living under the law and not
-
grace. So your life is dictated by do's
-
and don'ts, not by freedom. The freest life you can live is
-
the life in Christ following the Word of God, walking in his
-
love, living by faith and not by sight.
-
And I'm not worried about cheating.
-
I'm not worried about stealing, Right?
-
You see what I'm saying? The sin is your sin conscious.
-
So you're living like I'm always waking up trying not to sin.
-
I'm always waking up, try to fight temptation, but but that's
-
not freedom. You need the law because you
-
need something to tell you it's wrong in order not to do it.
-
So can you be saved and drink? Can you be saved and still
-
smoke? How can I have?
-
Well, I can have sex outside of marriage with the person I plan
-
on marrying. You're as a believer.
-
I'm constantly trying to figure out how I can be saved and get
-
away with carnal nature. Therefore, I'm not really living
-
out my salvation. I am living by the law that
-
Jesus did away with. So I could never get to know
-
Christ until I divorce law. Am I talking to anybody this
-
morning? And this is the this is one of
-
the main entry ways for deception because by by by your
-
choosing not to live in God's freedom, here it is.
-
You automatically are double minded.
-
So the Bible says if you're double minded, I don't care what
-
you pray for. You can't think it's going to be
-
answered or you're going to walk in the blessing because you're
-
double. Here it is.
-
You're double minded in all your ways.
-
Wake her up. You're double minded in all your
-
ways. And if you're double minded in
-
all your ways, your prime real estate for deception because
-
this why you came here from God. Is it me or is it the Spirit?
-
Is it my desires or is it God's desires?
-
Is this my will? And now we live in this life and
-
I'm here to tell you, like I said, if you want all got to be
-
all in goes on, no. This is so good.
-
So, so let me get this out the way because I I got to say this
-
for myself. We got two more experiences
-
after this. OK y'all don't got a double dip?
-
Triple dip? You ain't got a dip at all.
-
You can. After service you could dip
-
whatever you want to. Do OK, but what I am going to
-
ask this church is this week, this week.
-
Listen to all three experiences. Make sure we record tonight.

Because I have to. This is the last Sunday that I
-
could deal with this. Then we have the Christmas
-
production messages and then there's one more Sunday and I
-
can't promise we're going to have our last Sunday on
-
deception. I don't know what it's going to
-
be. So today I am trying to get
-
through all 90 slides. OK, I at least need to get
-
through 60 because the other 30 is where we started.
-
OK but pray for your boy. But I need but but but the flow.
-
Of this is going to be based on, yeah, Holy Spirit #1 but also at
-
the end of the day, what you got to understand what I'm
-
delivering to you are already got.
-
So I don't need to waste my time on you not wanting to receive
-
it, right? So the flow of this is based on
-
your, your, your posture, your engagement, right?
-
Let me tell you, if you fall asleep, I'm not preaching to
-
you, OK? You missing it.
-
The enemy don't even got to try hard to steal the word from you.
-
You just here you go. OK, And y'all don't sit on the
-

I don't care if you're 95, you 95 sleeping like you 95.

I get it. You got an excuse to fall
-
asleep, but but do it in the in the tent because I'm I'm waking
-
up all so all I'm I'm waking up everybody.

No Holy Spirit here. OK, Make up.

All right. Hallelujah for OK y'all with me
-
offspring faith of God, for as long as we live that old way of
-
life doing whatever we. Felt there we go for as long as
-
we live that old way of life, doing whatever we felt we could
-
get away with, whatever we felt we can get away with.
-
Sin was calling most of the shots as the old law code timmed
-
us in and this made us all more rebellious.
-
In the end, all we had to show for it was miscarriages and
-
stillbirths. Look at what the Lord blessed me
-
with you, oh the Lord blessed you in your no, no, no, no.
-
Let me. You worked hard for that.
-
You begged for it, you manipulated for it.
-
Yeah, yeah. You got some fruit out of that
-
relationship at the cost of compromising who you are.
-
So you took somebody talking to you a certain way that God don't
-
talk to you, right? So so and you giving birth to
-
stuff that eventually that it don't have no ability to stay.
-
Man, there's so much stuff that I obtained, so much stuff I did,
-
so many friends I had, and once I stepped into the new, new.
-
In the end all had to show for it was miscarriages and still
-
births, but now that we're no longer shackled to that
-
domineering mates. Of sin.
-
And out from under all those oppressive regulations and fine
-
print, we're free to live a new life in the freedom of God.
-
But I but I can. But I can.
-
But I can hear you say, well, if the law code was as bad as all
-
that, it's no better than sin itself, that that's certainly
-
not true. The law code had a perfectly
-
legitimate function. Without the law or without it's
-
clear guidelines for right and wrong moral behavior would be
-
mostly guesswork. You know as Christians how we
-
play dumb now. It's no excuse because it's
-
written. You know what it says, you just
-
trying to find the workaround. Apart from the succinct surgical
-
command, you shall not covet. I could have dressed
-
covetousness up to look like a virtue and ruin my life with it.
-
Don't you remember how it was? I do perfectly well.
-
The law code started out as an excellent piece of work.
-
What happened, though, was that sin found a way to pervert the
-
command into a temptation, making a piece of forbidden
-
fruit out of it. The law code, instead of being
-
used to guide me, was used to seduce me.
-
Hey, don't eat from that tree. Oh, why not?
-
What's God trying to keep from me?
-
My friends ate from it. What am I missing out on?
-
Well, what do you mean they got married?
-
You're. Well, here's what we say to our
-
parents children. Well, y'all did it?
-
Yeah, stupid. We did it so you don't have to.
-
Don't be calling me stupid. Well, there you go.
-
That's the part that's the point.
-
Without, with with all without, without all the paraphernalia of
-
the law code. Sin look pretty dull and
-
lifeless. Like like like if I'm not living
-
the life of sin, I don't got no marks of sin.
-
Sin looks not fun. Sin looks fun because it has
-
this little fruit. Dangling got all of it.
-
Looks pretty boring, but once Sin got his hands on the law
-
code and decked itself out in all that finery, I was fooled
-
and fell for it. The very command that was
-
supposed to guide me into life was cleverly used to trick me
-
up, throwing me head long. So Sin was plenty alive, and I
-
was stone dead. But the law code itself.
-
Is God's good and common sense, each command sane, and his holy
-
counsel Chee goodbye. We must learn to live.
-
This is going to be a real good day.
-
It's going to be a such a good day.
-
We must learn to live in the tension of the garden.
-
In the garden. You ready?
-
The tree was not bad. It had the knowledge of good and
-
evil. What was in the tree had to put
-
had the potential to awaken something in us.
-
So why stay a virgin so that nature in you is not what
-
awakened? Why not smoke?
-
Because the first time you do it now you've awakened something
-
and your old man is the one that desires it.
-
Your new man is trying to break free from it, but you found
-
people who indulge in it, so you now have comfort in the
-
community of sin. Therefore you have a reason to
-
justify your actions. Because you found a party,
-
instead of finding a party of prophets, you found a party of
-
sinners. But but right in the middle of
-
this garden, there's a million trees that's yours.
-
The one that he says don't touch is the one you desire the most.
-
And he says once the first human.
-
Woke that up in our nature. It's it's this is the tension
-
y'all. This is what I'm saying.
-
This is why it's worth it. Because if Adam's sin had the
-
power to wreck a whole race. Then what you turning around
-
your life could do for your bloodline?
-
We we are here because of a human being's decision, and here
-
is the generational power of a decision.
-
Adam's decision impacted every human until Jesus returned.
-
What could your decision impact with God's backing?
-
We must learn to live in the tension.
-
And today we're going to see these tensions.
-
And here we go, verse 13. I can already hear this is
-
picking up from what we just read.
-
I can already hear you next. Your next question.
-
Does that mean I can't even trust what is good?
-
That is, I can't trust the law. Is good just as dangerous as
-
evil? No again, Paul says.
-
Come on guys. No again.
-
Somebody say again. Sin simply did what sin is so
-
famous for doing. Here it is.
-
What is it famous for doing? Using the good as a cover to
-
tempt me to do what would finally destroy me.
-
I'm gonna read that again. I'm gonna read that again Using
-
If we hear a lot of sneezing and coughing, this service
-
understand Deliverance is taking place.
-
Hallelujah. If somebody you smell, you
-
smell. If you smell somebody fart, then
-
you don't know who it is. Just thank God if you smell a
-
fart because somebody is getting set free in Jesus name.
-
Hallelujah. Demons coming out one way or
-
another. The nose, the mouth, or the
-
backtrack. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah, sin. Simply.
-
Now look that look. If it's you that past gas, don't
-
act like you didn't turn to your neighbor because you smell
-
insane. My bad.
-
But I'm free now. Come on, I'm sorry, but I'm
-
free. You want to celebrate my freedom
-
or or or hey, you get what I'm saying?
-
Come on, I'm talking to somebody.
-
Most people, eh eero Egypt, they think we joking, huh?
-
Like deliverance for real comes out in these different ways.
-
If you ever been to a delivery service, it don't smell that
-
good with the altar care team. We need some some spray.
-
So if you see at the altar folks spraying, then you know, just
-
celebrate though. Say somebody shout out freedom.
-
Somebody say freedom stank. Hey man, that's going to be a
-
message. Hallelujah. 2025 is coming March
-
2025. Freedom stank.
-
You using the good as a cover to tempt me to do.
-
Here's the vision and the mission of sin using the good as
-
a cover tempt. Let me tell you, you're never
-
going to get off track without starting with a good thing.
-
Some of y'all may be, but I ain't never been tempted to date
-
a gorilla. Some of y'all do gorillas and
-
all that. I don't do gorillas, OK.
-
You're not tempted by something you're not desiring or attracted
-
to. So what's presented to you is
-
going to be presented in a way that has you considering.
-
It's why you out there in the dating world, you got to cut
-
Nah, Nope, Nah not interested. Especially if what attracted me
-
to you was was the. No, no, no, I will not receive
-
that as my first like I will not respond to that.
-
If if you are for me and from God, then then I'm going to
-
respond to the quickening of the Holy Ghost, not to the
-
quickening of my flesh. And so, just to starve my flesh,
-
I might have to say no to you. We go by hiding within God's
-
good commandments. Sin hides in God's good
-
commandment. By hiding with it within God's
-
good commandment, sin did far more mischief than it could ever
-
have accomplished on its own. Sin needs good to get you.
-
Hey, hey Jesus, I know you're here to get the keys to the
-
Kingdom. How about I turn the keys over
-
to you because Satan had them? I give you the keys back if you
-
just bow down to me. Let me give you what you want,
-
but on the other side of that, you're going to get what you
-
don't need. It says I I can anticipate the
-
response that is coming. I know, I know, I know that all
-
God's commands are spiritual, but I'm not.
-
Isn't this also your experience? Yes, I'm full of myself.
-
I'm full of me. After all, I've spent a long
-
time in sins prison being full of me.
-
I knew I shouldn't have put these three see, because what I
-
got is I got these set of scriptures on the back end in
-
the middle of some other context.
-
So I'm a I'm a flip it and reverse it later.
-
And something told me don't make this first because I was going
-
to get stuck here. OK, Just bear with me.
-
I'm trying to talk to myself right now.
-
What I don't understand about myself.
-
Can anybody in here admit that you don't know everything or
-
understand everything about yourself?
-
Man, we going to raise up because some folks lying in
-

back. What I don't understand about

myself is that I decide one way I'm going to do this 22/20/25 is
-
my Yeah, right. You got the mark markers you can
-
write on the mirror. You got sticky notes on your
-
dashboard. You didn't bought all kind of
-
organizer apps. You didn't bought that journal.
-
I decide one way, but then I act.
-
Somebody say another. I think we love, I think.
-
Revelation is taking place. We love laughing at ourselves
-
because revelation is happening. Your eyes are opening in Jesus
-
name. But then I act another doing the
-
things I absolutely despise, right?
-
You do that thing you like. Oh my God, why?
-
Did I just drink that? Why did I just smoke that?
-
You just get out of some, some, some, some, some, some.
-
You just get out of some, some, some.
-
You spend days, man. I'm talking in this church this
-
morning. You spent days upon days upon
-
days upon hours fantasizing about this boy or girl and then
-
you'll finally do some something in 2 minutes hero.
-
You know how long you sit did convincing yourself and
-
imagining and you do the some something and in two minutes
-
some of you, I don't know too many, I mean five and whatever
-
52 it don't matter. Can I talk to the people this
-
morning? Oh my God, y'all smell anything
-
yet? Hallelujah.
-
OK, look, so, so listen, come on y'all if we, if we y'all got if,
-
if it's something funny, let's bounce back real quick, OK?
-
OK, laugh to yourself after you do this.
-
Don't start turning around and no just laugh to somebody and be
-
like that was funny and then laugh to yourself, OK?
-
Focus back. OK, but in that moment and you
-
look over and now they want to kiss and you like.
-

Now I know this whole room ain't got no experience in nothing, so
-
I'm talking to a room full of mummies and virgins in here.
-
I'm trying to help a generation and ain't going to help you by
-
just talking about Bethlehem. Some of y'all think Bethlehem is
-
one of the one of the leaders. No, that's Jerusalem.
-

-

-
Now listen, the point here is while you were dating and while
-
you were imagining yourself with this person, while you were
-
feeding your flesh, you number one had an opportunity.
-
Because here's what God says. I will always present you a way
-
out of sin. God's not mad at your struggle.
-
You're not sinning because you're struggling.
-
You're not sinning because you're pondering So, so so, so,
-
so you chose to go against the way out, and a lot of times it
-
leads to secrecy. So, so, so then you now, because
-
you share this part of yourself with someone, even if it's
-
emotional, you now have real estate invested.
-
So now you're together because deep within, hear me, that
-
person owes you something. You've opened up conversations,
-
you've touched one time, you've kissed one time.
-
Now I've why do you think people, when they're trying to
-
like you, see a lot of cults and things of that nature, They make
-
you do something. So they have collateral, right?
-
What you don't realize spiritually and emotionally when
-
you cross those lines, even emotionally.
-
There's a collateral expectation.
-
And so that person, if they left you, there's a how dare you when
-
I open myself up to you. So I make this decision and that
-
quick decision is not worth how long it takes to get out of it
-
emotionally, right? I can go to the club, party it
-
up and say, God, I'll never do this again.
-
But what I take home with me is the club.
-
So now I got to I got to renew my mind from the experience.
-
I expose my soul to so so so if I can't be trusted to figure out
-
what is best for myself. See why the enemy don't like
-
accountability. The whole room raised their hand
-
and said, I, I sometimes don't understand me, which means you
-
sometimes. Can't trust you either.
-
But I don't need no accountability.
-
Well, if you could see all of you, then you wouldn't need
-
nobody to help expose parts of you, right?
-
You should be glad God brought somebody in your life that ain't
-
afraid of you or timid and ain't fooled by your tricks no more if
-
you fooling everybody around you in the wrong circle.
-
So if I, if I, so, if I can't be trusted to figure out what it is
-
best for myself and then do it, it becomes obvious that command
-
is necessary. The, the, the power of
-
discipleship or what we love about discipleship is we no
-
longer have to hold your hand because now you're able to hold
-
somebody else's. Wait.
-
Like how this is Jesus? How long do I got to keep
-
telling you? How long do I got to keep
-
reminding you I can't leave you alone with a possessed man.
-
I can't leave you alone and a New Girl can't.
-
A new guy can't come to the church and we can't worry about
-
you being attractive. And so then the man of God and
-
woman of God come and help you, help try to help you so you can
-
hear God. You think that they're trying to
-
control you or or or or manipulate you or take your life
-
away. Do you?
-
No, what we're trying to do is help you to help you to do it
-
right once and not spend the first few years of your marriage
-
trying to get it right, but you at the altar with it right.
-
Do we got any marriages in here that spent a few years trying to
-
get it right? Come on.
-
Still under the hood a little bit, right?
-
Come on, but this is the work of the enemy.
-
He wants to accuse the brethren and be like, oh you don't go to
-
that church because they controlling or and they always
-
pastor T is always. Up and he's trying to stop me
-
from doing something no I actually love you and people
-
that's out there trying to tell you the test drive everything
-
let's see if they go to the hospital if you mess around and
-
get syphilis or some some STD I'm about to say rabies I'm.
-
All some of y'all food with dogs.
-
I don't I don't know what I'm what I'm saying.
-
Hallelujah. We going there this morning,
-
this weekend, in the year strong.
-
Hallelujah. But, but, but I I need, I need
-
he, he said God's command is necessary.
-
And then he says I need something more than the
-
commandments. I need some more than rules.
-
Hey, I need you to need some more than.
-
Rules. I'm tired of talking to you, but
-
boundaries are necessary. You can't have children and
-
don't have no boundaries. Hey, hey.

Stay away from the fire. That's the law.
-
Until you understand what fire do.

And sin got us so foolish sleeping with the frogs too
-
long. No, not no woman.
-
Not no nothing in 2025. No, it ain't one more night.
-
You ain't going to marry the girl.
-
Bye. Like like, like, no, I came
-
there to sit with you. I'm like, we can't live like
-
this. So I came to a crossroad.
-
I'm either going to marry her or we got to break up.
-
It ain't you don't understand some stuff just need to be cut
-
off until you can grow. And so I was like well I don't
-
want to leave her. So I guess we getting married
-
like some of y'all got too many options.
-
Now I'm either going man up, take responsibility for this
-
girl I'm sleeping with, or I'm going to take care of
-
responsibilities if I have them with her.
-
But I'm not going to keep letting this thing play out.
-
So we got married first five years, hell, because the motive
-
to get married was not a godly motive, but it was a decision
-
that God honored. But we didn't see the fruit
-
until I gave my life fully to the one who honored my choice.
-
You know, let me get married because I don't want to go to
-
hell. No, let me tell you something.
-
Break up. Stop sleeping with her and you
-
ain't going to go to hell. You don't go to hell because you
-
sleeping with somebody. It's going to be.
-
Such a it's going to be such a good day.
-
I'm unloading the clip all day today.
-
OK, but I I need some more say I need some more and that's where
-
the world is they looking for but can't find it for if I know
-
the law. But still can't keep it.
-
And if the power of sin within me keeps sabotaging my best
-
intentions. Come on.

I if I know the law but still can't keep it, and if the power
-
of sin within me keep sabotaging my best intention, I obviously
-
need help. Look at your neighbors.

Now tell yourself I need help. Have you, have you ever, have
-
you ever gotten mad? Have you ever got mad at your
-
past church experience? Once you finally like hear a
-
word you like, where was this? Like where was this at when I
-
was Hallelujah. Us preachers and pastors, we, we
-
teachers and people of the gospel man, we pay a high price
-
for what we don't give people. Trends will never carry this
-
house. I obviously need help.
-
I realized that I don't have what it takes.
-
I can will it, sure, but I can't do it.
-
I decide to do good, but I don't really do it.
-
I decide not to do bad, but then I do it anyway.
-
You see how many bucks in the way my decisions, such as they
-
are, doesn't result in actions. Something has gone wrong deep
-
where within me. That's why you need to get your
-
butt here on Wednesday night as we talk about the inner man, as
-
we talk about the key of peace. Something has gone wrong deep
-
within the inner man and gets the better of me every time it
-
it happens so regularly that it's predictable.
-
Now, now get your mind out of sin, like like sex and all that.
-
What about the gym you like? I'm I'm I'm going to work about
-
this year. I'm going I'm about to treadmill
-
PT. I'm going to cold play.
-
You bought the cold plus tub. No water in it right.
-
So we are we often error and think sin is all about sex and
-
murder. No, sin is also you just not
-
doing what God told you to do. So not about what you do, what
-
you, what, what you don't do. It's, it's like you, you, you
-
have to. It's, it's not just about what
-
you do that's wrong. It's also about what you don't
-
do. That's right.
-
It gets the better of me every time.
-
Every time it happens so regularly that it's predictable.
-
The moment I decide to do good, sin is there to trip me up.
-
It says when I want to do good, evil is always present, like it
-
