Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

No one's here by accident this morning, 100% of you here today,

God has a message for you and not the person sitting next to

you. Not your Mama, not your auntie,

not your spouse, not your coworkers.

You're going to want to share today's word, but do not share

it until you got it. Because what you need to share

is revelation from a place of conviction.

And you need to share something that has changed you.

If it hasn't gripped you, don't share it.

What I'm asking you to do is to promise yourself, not me,

because I'm tired of getting my feelings hurt, is please go

You're double dipping. You was here this morning and

you said I've got to get this word in me.

We have minimal time to close the year.

God has a fresh word that will be revealed December 31st at our

New Year's Eve celebration. Today is one of the last

opportunities I'll get to end this series on the great

deception. And then on Wednesdays, this

Wednesday is our last Wednesday of the year.

We are having a peace revival. What are we doing?

We've been dealing with a a deception free life and I've

been giving, I believe the key to living a deception free life.

And anybody that's been there on Wednesday, has it been a

blessing to you? Amen.

And so we are a church, an equipping church.

We are a church that is not going to fall to the to the

culture today. I grew up on a midweek

experience. Matter of fact, I grew up on an

everyday experience. But it's important to keep our

tanks fueled. It's important to stay in a

posture of a fight, but we have to in these last days, they're

going to be millions in opportunities to be distracted.

A lot of our psychology, a lot of our opinions today is formed

through all the stuff we look at.

OK, everybody has an opinion. Everybody has a YouTube,

everybody has a platform. You following 20,000 people and

five are following you. You're a consumer, You're

looking for help. You're looking for help.

You don't have direction or you would follow the people that are

speaking to what God's calling you to do and be.

The days of you have to be very selective of what you allow to

entertain you. It is not only a distracting

time for the world, the world is already distracted.

The great deception is the church being deceived.

Bible warns us, it says in the last days there will be false

prophets, false prophets. Along with that, there will be

people in the body of Christ running.

To find teachers that will tickle your Fanny, your

interest. You don't want to hear sound

doctrine, You don't want to hear some correction, you don't want

to hear accountability. You want to hear things about

how to have a relationship. But if you had a healthy soul,

you're going to automatically produce a a healthy relationship

is produced from a healthy soul. If you get spit on on the front

row, don't trip, receive it, smear it in, it's anointed.

OK, I got my Invisalign in and I'm close to finishing and I'm

not going to have my teeth bent back because, you know, front

row warning. OK, it's anointed.

Hallelujah. Now, I'm speaking from

experience. This is not a theological

exegesis of deception. This is some word.

And it's through me walking through darkness and

experiencing darkness and being deceived.

Hey, not just by the devil, but by me.

The worst deception is you manipulate yourself into doing

something you know ain't for you.

Forget the devil, forget the trauma.

As a child, why are you? If you're so mad at what your

Mama, daddy and uncle did, why are you now repeating what they

did to you? Now you inflict yourself.

So now everybody you blame and is gone.

But guess who's still home? You.

You can't run from you. And so God is calling us in his

last hour to have eyes to see like never before.

And there's no way to see with clutter in our lives and

whatever He's coming for. Lay it down.

Relationships, people you follow, social media, your diet,

whatever it is the enemy is going to cling to anything you

give him the latch onto your life because he knows his day is

coming. Some of you been experiencing

warfare because he understands that you are at the last of your

suffering with him and the devil knows more than you.

What God has planned for you. So if I can keep you distracted,

if I can keep you a victim, if I can keep you insecure, if I can

keep you depressed and fearful, and then you Google and find a a

diagnosis. And now all of a sudden Google

is your diagnosis. And as much as you trust in

Google, why you don't trust in the word Google never died for

you. No goofy Google people.

Hallelujah. I'm not talking about nobody in

here. I'm talking about anything I say

bad or come across disrespectful.

Just say he talking about yourself OK?

But I care about you. I've been there, I've done that,

and here's what I've understood. Until I go to my grave, I'm

evolving so I never arrive. I'm an eternal being.

There's nowhere to arrive, so I don't care if I get feeble in my

old age. Guarantee you I got some stuff

to renew in my mind. Anybody know?

25 ready to call it in 30 years old and you just trying to.

Find your career. OK, you're going to find your

career, you're going to have family, and all those things are

new startups, more stuff you got to manage, more stuff that's

going to open more doors for you to have to fight off whatever.

You got to fight off what you what as an eternal being?

What would happen if you understood you never die, so you

live through the ribbon. I am not looking for death.

I am not planning for death. I am planning to hand off a

baton because I am going to the next leg of my race.

So when I'm taking notes, as I some of you don't take notes in

church, but what if you don't? Just imagine you don't have

kids, but what if God is giving you a word to put in your phone,

your notebook, and one day it's a word that you can hand off to

your child or your grandchildren.

You need to be taking notes. Like one day the government's

going to take every Bible and all your family got is the notes

you took in your time. You don't come before the Lord

and act like it's just a in this church.

It ain't a religious, this ain't no traditional religious thing.

OK, God is speaking. So don't just take notes about

what's coming out of my mouth, but listen because he's

customizing his word to every single person that has ears to

hear. And that has an imposter to

receive. I am where I am because one day

I let the word do what it does in my soul instead of letting

the enemy continue to deceive me and manipulate my mind.

You, you shouldn't have any trouble understanding this

If for those that don't know you've, I know everybody's heard

of the 10 commandments. Thou shalt not, thou shalt not,

thou shalt not, thou shalt not. And then Jesus came and said,

hey, forget all of that love, because if you love, you won't

thou. If you love, you won't steal.

If you love, you won't commit adultery if you truly love.

So instead of trying not to do all this, just do this.

And we don't got citizens of the Kingdom, we got a lot of law

abiding citizens. And that's not what you're saved

from save to, you know, you're supposed to be free.

I'm not waking up every day. Do you know the low?

When I was in the world, when I was doing my thing, I was waking

up trying to not drink tonight. Now I was committed to that

life. But inside I'm like, come on,

please feel like I'm not going to smoke today.

You know how you got real lit one night and your friends teach

you that? One friend hit you up and like,

hey tonight? I'm going to do it again.

You like I'm good tonight. I can't.

I can't do no more. That's that's inside of you.

You that one in the. Group that God said.

You can only go so far. I was that guy in the group.

God had a tight leash on me and I thank God for it.

For instance, a wife is legally tied to her husband while he

lives, but if he dies, she's free.

If she lives with another man while her husband is living,

she's obviously an adulterous, but if he dies, she is quite

free. To many to not many other men.

I'm sorry. Hallelujah to marry another man

in good conscience with no one's disapproval for you ladies, this

is not a work around the relationship you're in right

now. Do not think about it.

OK, so you see. This, this is how we don't even

see the word. I watch first 48 sometime and I

How many times have you heard of this side piece?

And then we going to kill. We go, I'm going to kill, I'm

going to kill my wife because I want to be with you forever,

right? Even in their sinfulness of

already committing adultery, there's a law inside that says

if I kill her, then I can, I can, I can with a free

conscience be with her to the point I would kill my spouse.

So I can be free because I can't do both.

So within us we already know right and wrong and the work

that it takes to override what's in US.

It's not dark just because it's dark, it's dark because we're

ignoring light. Can I talk to you this morning?

He says so my friends, this is something like what has taken

place with you. When Christ died, He took that

entire rule dominated way of life down with him and left it

in the tomb, leaving you free to marry a resurrection life and

bear offspring of faith for God. For as long as we lived that old

way of life, doing whatever we felt we could do or get away

with, sin was calling most of the shots as the old law code

hemmed us in. This made us all the more

rebellious. In the end, all we had to show

for it was miscarriages, abortions, and stillbirths.

But now that we're no longer shackled to that domineering

mate of sin and out from under all those oppressive regulations

and fine print, we're. Free to live a new life in the

freedom of God. But I can hear you saying if the

law code was as bad as all that, it's no better than sin itself.

That's certainly not true. The law code had a perfectly

legitimate function. Without it's clear guidelines,

thou shall not. For right and wrong.

Moral behavior would be mostly guesswork, apart from the

succinct surgical command. You shall not covet.

I could have dressed covetousness up to look like a

virtue and ruin my life with it. Don't you remember how it was?

I do. Perfectly well.

The law code started out as an excellent piece of work.

What happened though, was that sin found a way to pervert the

command into a temptation, making a piece of forbidden

fruit out of it. God says don't eat from this

tree, but you can have the other million.

The tree that he told them not to eat from was not a evil tree,

it was a tree that had the knowledge.

Of good and evil. What was in the tree was the

potential to activate what was in you.

So when you go sleeping around, when you go trying this drink,

when you, you awaken a nature, you feed a nature that's in you

that cannot be ridded of until Jesus returns.

So while we're here living out God's plan, we need God.

We need Jesus to, to, to come into our lives and help us war

with this old man inside. So me getting saved and

receiving Jesus is receiving the Spirit of my Savior, the Father,

the Creator, the Holy Spirit lives in me, and he's now able

to war with me and for me through his word, through his

might, through his power, through his Spirit.

And now I can be transformed, regenerated.

So now there's a place in my life where I once was lost, now

I'm found. I was blind, now I see.

So the first step to my transformation is not getting

off the liquor. The first step is now being

convicted by drinking. And now what you trying to do is

the devil want to turn conviction in the condemnation

so you drink more not knowing when you drank last night Holy

Spirit came in and convicted you saying hey, the time is now, the

Father wants you home. Condemnation leads to

separation. Conviction leads to God.

And This is why we can't not be in the church and be discipled,

because the enemy can attack us at the point of ignorance.

Conviction and condemnation can feel the same if you don't have

the Spirit of God, if you don't have the Word.

And now you're drinking because you're shameful, you're guilty,

and you hang out with other folks that drink and smoke.

Why? Because now all y'all feel

ashamed and ain't nobody going to say nobody wrong.

So you stay away from church folk and sometimes you get

offended and you call them they more holier than thou.

And you trying to control my life.

No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm trying to help you see the

blind spots. It's like those new cars that

when there's a car on the side of you, instead of you not

seeing it, cars are created now with functions that highlight

the blind spots. Hey, you can tell when somebody

don't got that backup mirror, not that backup TV no more,

right? Because when you that now, now,

now Are you ready? The backup camera does not give

me permission to not look back. The backup camera is there to

broaden my vision. So now I got God.

I don't just walk seamlessly. Anything for me.

This guy I got a pastor, a church, a friend, a spouse that

love God. I can't live off a site. 100% of

you here right now can break free from anything that's been

holding you. But you cannot break free and

you will not stay free. If you don't get rooted in a

spirit filled, faith filled Bible teaching, Holy Spirit LED

worship in the house. You will not be able to make

these last days. You were not made to do Jesus at

home by yourself. What, what, what happened

instead? Instead of the law being used to

guide me, was used to seduce me. I can't eat from that tree.

You notice how if they got locked in on that tree, got

locked in on the conversation of the enemy planting a seed that

sent her down and sent them down this path, God might be trying

to keep something from me. You know that foam, that FOMO

that I'm missing out. No, in these next few years,

you're going to miss out on a lot.

But the folks that ain't missing out is going to gain, but you're

going to gain a lot. So let your friends go.

Let your families go. Guarantee you within 123456

It looks like your life got good.

I need some help. And because of your

faithfulness, they got somebody to call.

You can't wait for your friends and family to change and you

also can't expect your friends and family to understand your

change. Same way you hang around

drinkers and smokers, hang around some change folks.

Without all the paraphernalia of law code, seeing look pretty

dull and lifeless, and I went along without paying much

attention to it. But once saying got his hands on

the law code and decked itself out in all the finery, I was

fooled and I fell for it. How many people fell for some

things? Amen.

You could just look down. Don't even look up.

It's OK. So So sin was plenty alive and I

was stoned dead. But the law code itself is God's

good and common sense. Each command is saying and each

command is holy counsel. It is not freedom if every day

you're living by do's and don'ts.

I no longer am living a life where I'm trying not to.

Like, that list has shrunk. I'm trying not to not work out.

I'm trying to not. Eat.

Unhealthy consistently, right, right.

It shrinks like get your energy towards life and godliness, like

get out of the the, the, the trying not to do stupid stuff

like that's not your that don't have to be your life where you

live a life of always trying to run from temptation.

It comes a place where you can look at a young lady and be

like, wow, she is so beautiful. And that doesn't lead to all

these thoughts, right? I'm a pastor of a church, OK?

There is beautiful people at Love Quest, There's Handsome

man, there is beautiful young ladies and older ladies.

But when I see you, due to the work that's happened in my

heart, I see sons, I see daughters, I see mothers, I see

fathers, I see citizens of a Kingdom.

I'm no longer. Trying to be I can't, I can't

look at her because every time she walk in the house.

And that's in the church. And I grew up in that, where the

church was a whorehouse with choir robes on.

Can I talk about it? Yeah.

Musicians and singer worship team sleeping around with each

other. Now we're not doing that.

We're not doing. I love you way too much.

I love your kids too much. I love your future too much.

So, so this is the good fight of finishing sight.

the good fight of finishing surrender.

We've been talking about finishing this year.

Like finishing strong. It doesn't matter if you screwed

up the 1st 10 months of the year.

How are you about to finish the last 31?

Let's finish the year how we want to start it.

I feel it in the spirit, the way we going to close the year here

It's like it's like, why do you want to end the year?

Like down shifting? What like why you why you down

shifting? No, no, no, no running backs

attack the hole. It's like boom, no, the January

1st is a hole to run through. Some of us can go to January 1st

and we just tired full hungover and we don't start the year to

This is supposed to be a walk in the garden.

We learned that you think you know, but you don't really know

because Yahweh is the only true certainty.

He's all knowing. He's omniscient.

We saw over the last couple weeks, Jeremiah 17 reveals to us

that the heart is above all. The heart is the sickest place

in humanity. There's wickedness in our

hearts, so they just walk through and have undealt with

wickedness is ignorant and it is not loving yourself.

Follow me. Deception is a fruit of our

fallen nature. You were born in deception.

Here's the scripture. Behold that I even go as far as

you was birthed by deceived parents at all.

I had a nice little want want with with my dad.

And then I don't know what they did, but they had me.

Pops wasn't around after that. He did.

He's in and out of prison. He's like, but so that was a

deceived life they were living. This is it's, it's a fruit.

So, so, so soon as you are able to digest the Word, you got to

get to work, especially if you didn't have parents that fed it

to you as a youngster. Deception is a fruit of our

fallen nature. Look at Psalm 51 and five.

It says, behold, I was brought forth in a state of iniquity.

My Mama was sinful who conceived me, and I too am sinful.

Here it is. Behold, I need you to see the

tension in the garden. Behold, you desire truth.

David said, God, you desire truth in the inner being.

Make me therefore to no wisdom in my innermost heart, in my

inmost heart. KJV says, behold, I was shaping

in iniquity. I love this beautiful tension

because on one hand he's aware of his sin.

On the other hand, he's aware that he's being pursued.

OK, can I, can I talk to like three people, OK, he says.

I was born in sin. Matter of fact, my Mama was full

of sin and I was shaped in iniquity.

I was shaped in unrighteousness. I didn't have a chance, but

there's a God that desires to get truth to me and get truth.

You're here because of the second-half of this Scripture.

Although you have sin in you, there's a God that's trying to

get truth to you. That's love.

You're here. Think of this picture.

No matter what you've done recently, God says I need to get

this truth to you because I'm invested in you.

Let me put it this way. Even in the fallen nature of my

birth, the Father honored the risen nature of His creation.

Can I talk to somebody? Even in the fallen nature of my

birth, the Father honored. He has honored His creation.

He is committed to what He created.

Although we messed it up, he's saying, but what I put in them

is redeemable. This ain't no final sale.

When he made you, he put eternity into.

When he made you, you were made out of eternal life.

Therefore you asked, well, why did he let Satan do this?

Why did he? God didn't mind Satan messing

with the plan because he couldn't destroy the plan.

What he made you out of was a substance that cannot be killed.

Eternal life. That's why he says I'm working

all things together. And I know it's frustrating, but

due to your choices, I got to orchestrate some stuff.

He's he's committed to what he created.

Look, look, look. So in one point David says I'm,

I'm, I'm, I'm this nasty human being, you following me.

But then in this other one, he says for you form my most in my

innermost parts. Wait a minute.

Right where my sin is, you form something right there.

So although I have fallen nature in me, the fallen nature did not

do away with the created nature. That's why I don't matter who

and how bad they sin. Anna Best, everybody still has a

chance because when he created us, he put himself in us.

So no way if a murderer decides to to repent that God won't

receive them. It's like God throwing himself

away. Am I talking to anybody that's

getting this? You, you, you knitted me

together. You you didn't make a mistake.

That's why I said if one man can send us left, then another man

can get us right. It's what the enemy wants you to

think. It's over.

And you know, when you come home, we ain't talking about

your mistakes. We talk.

We talking about your dominion. We we ain't got no time to talk

about where you've been. I know where you've been.

Now we talk about where we about to go back to because if I say

if you if you tell me where you've been, I'm going to say

where you've been before that the garden.

So let's focus on where you've been, where you originated from,

because God's all about getting you back to where you originated

from. Where you came from was your

am not ignorant that you created something well and.

You as a human being are God's created greatest creation.

makes it's what's in it that puts the price point on it.

And it's why the enemy wants you to focus on your sway and want

you to focus on all it is and got you in the gym trying to get

your glutes up and all of this stuff.

And you don't understand before your glutes.

You, you have, you have a value that nothing else in this world

has. This Jesus, Jesus, you got to

understand, somebody died. For you.

For God so loved the world, he paid his only begotten Son.

God wasn't playing with, He said there's nothing else in the

world that I can give that's worth them.

You got to, you got to. You got to look at all the stuff

God created, like we go to Italy, we go to all these places

that have tremendous value. There is gold in the earth, he

said. There is nothing created that

can win my children back. No gold, no leather.

Nothing I've created has enough value for you.

So the only thing left. Is my son, you sit here waiting

for somebody to like your page. He's sitting here waiting for a

man to affirm you and you say from what?

You following Jesus for what? You don't even know what this

did. So when I'm like, you know, I'm,

I'm breathtaking. Jesus said.

It's finished. He gave his last breath for who?

You, he was crucified for who you He literally had his breath

taken for you and you sitting here and going to let some

joker, let some culture, let some vulture, let some rocher,

let some world. You really about to sit here and

question your identity. You really about to sit here and

tell yourself you can't when God said you can't?

I'm taking, I'm taking him and remember to what he did for me.

We go out to the ocean and sit there and just go with the waves

It's like we see snow on the mountains.

end of the view and they're like.

You sit up there and you think you're romantic and all of that,

but then when it comes to your identity, you see nothing

beautiful. How dare us take for granted the

with light. That's why we worship how we

worship. That's why we laugh how we

laugh. That's why we cry.

That's why we war because we need to be.

We need to flood our old man, drown our old man with the

truth, Jesus Christ, that we may know and understand.

And then it says in Ephesians 3. May He grant you out of the rich

treasury of His glory, not yours His glory, to be strengthened

and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy

Spirit, indwelling your innermost being and personality.

Here we go, beloved, do not put faith in every spirit, but in

these last days prove and test the spirits to discover whether

they proceed from God, for many false prophets have gone forth

into the world. You cannot test spirits without

the. Spirit, I need you Holy Spirit,

because why is he? Why is the Bible constantly

follow me? 2nd Corinthians 11 he says man.

So I'm fearful that the enemy will get you like he did Eve, so

your minds may be corrupted and seduced.

Look at 2nd Corinthians 211. So that we would not be

exploited by the adversary Satan, for we know his clever

schemes. Oh, he has clever schemes.

But Paul is saying, hey, I'm here warning you, teaching you

so you won't be taken advantage of.

It says getting taken to keep Satan from getting, getting the

advantage over us, for we are not ignorant. 1st Corinthians

12, these gifts that are given to us by God.

He says, listen, I do not want you to be misinformed.

Why is there these constant warnings of deception?

Deception, the door of ignorance, is where deception

lies. Elder John said deception is a

mindset and practice allegiance to a lie and the partial truth

it's based on. It refuses accountability, full

truth or revelation. All deception is sprinkled with

truth, added one of Elder John's.

He says the nature of the deception reveals the psychology

of the deception. There is a psychology to

deception. Watch this.

For as he or a man thinks in his what heart, so is he.

As you think, so are you. As you think, so are you.

What information are you thinking about?

For out of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks.

So it gets in your heart, and then it floods your heart, and

then you give it life through your mouth and you start

speaking it. He says, these people draw near

their heart is far from me. They're deceived.

They're serving God with their mouth and they think, and that's

suffice. Look, look, look, look.

James 113, let me help you. Let no one say when he is

tempted. I am tempted from God, for God

is incapable of being tempted, therefore he can't tempt.

Well, God put me through this storm, but every person is

tempted when he is drawn away. Here it is enticed and baited by

their own evil desires. How do you get desires?

feet. The spirit of death is broken.

The spirit of disease is broken. The spirit of addiction is

broken. I'm stronger.

I'm wiser. I'm better.

I'm smarter. Come on.

This is my coming home party. Come on.

know your new voice is connected to your new, you want you to

open your mouth and let the Spirit you are going to sing or

you're going to prophecy. Whatever comes out of your mouth

is going to be Holy Spirit induced.

And I promise you the authority of Jesus Christ in his flood.

I am telling you as you sing, as you prophecy, as you pray in the

Spirit, it doesn't matter about a feeling.

I am telling you I'm in agreement with you.

The chains are breaking, Airways are opening back up.

God is moving in ways you can't see right now.

But you are going to send the word forth.

You're going to send a sound forward, and as you open your

mouth, the enemy will sabotage his own plan.

All you worry about is worshipping the God that has

done it. And if he did it before, he

could do it again. And if he could do it again, I

dare to believe he's doing it. Now.

Come on, lift your voices. I, I, I've hated being

misunderstood, but a part of that was abandonment issues.

But I just feel in this room, there's a few people that feels

like what I was trying to say was, man, just give me a chance.

Watch and see what I'm going to turn out to be, right?

Don't feel sorry for yourself. Just know like where you are is

not the final destination. It's not even a destination.

So is this a truck stop? It's a pit stop.

It's. But what I do want you to grasp

is the accumulation of what you're going through and what

you've been through. God has taken the sum total of

all of it to make you that much better in your future.

I've had thoughts of dying early.

I've had thoughts of plane crashes.

I've had thoughts of family members dying.

I've had thoughts of failing. I've had thoughts of not being

like their thoughts. But what I can tell you is once

you grab a hold of those thoughts, it's not wasted time

that you spent in those thoughts.

You understand? It's not wasted time you spent

in that season. God is going to take that year.

Look, I need you all to understand the Father.

You don't waste time He. You can't waste time with Him.

Yes. He's eternal, He's not trapped

by time, so you can't waste time.

God has the ability to cause to allow you to waste in your mind

15 years of stupidity. And on the 16th year you got

more than you had 15 years prior.

So don't insult God to think that you're that terrible.

He can't help. Yeah, you have.

Some doubts with God right now, Fair, He can take that as well.

Because when you come on the other side of it, you're going

to look at that season where you doubted God, you wrestled with

God, you wore it with God. You frustrated, you were so bad.

He got you out of character. There was things in your life,

but you're going to look back and man, you're going to meet

somebody five years from now and you going to be like, wow, I

went through that and now I can help somebody get out of that.

Your, your, your, your, your mess is not in vain.

Your, your bad thinking is not in vain.

God wants to use it. He doesn't want to just

transform you. He wants to use the remnants, he

wants to use the pieces. He is turning it all.

For. Good.

God's not like I don't want that.

I don't. I don't want that.

I don't want that. Man.

By the time you mix the baking soda, the eggs, the salt and all

the ingredients for a cake, you don't taste no baking soda, You

don't taste. No.
