Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it then.
-
Jesus left and went north into the non Jewish region of
-
Lebanon. We just finished singing a song
-
that's original in Love Quest and it says he's not just the
-
God of. He's not just the God of.
-
I'm here to tell some of you theologians and doctrinal
-
experts that God is not just historical.
-
Jesus is not just some little story of a little boy who once
-
was. I know he was and I know he's to
-
come, but he also is. And we're selling a world that
-
he's just this historical miracle worker.
-
He's just Jacob's God. He's just Elijah's God.
-
He's just Abraham's God. But I'm here to tell you that he
-
is Terence's God. He is Troy's God.
-
He is Andrew's God. He is Kim's God.
-
Look at your neighbors, say he's your God too.
-
Then Jesus left and went N into the non Jewish region.
-
Say non Jewish. He encountered there a Canaanite
-
woman who shouted out to him, Lord son of David, show mercy to
-
me. My daughter is horribly
-
afflicted by a demon that torments her, but Jesus never
-
answered her. What was Jesus doing ignoring
-
her? Because at the time he was not
-
called to her people. So, so, so his disciples said to
-
him, Why do you ignore this woman who is crying out to us?
-
Jesus said, I've only been sent to the lost sheep of Israel, but
-
she came and bowed down before him and said, Lord help me.
-
Jesus responded, it's not right for a man to take bread from his
-
children and throw it out to the dogs.
-
Did he just call her a dog? Well, if he was here at the
-
production, you would have understood when the woman at the
-
well was. It's not so much like this is
-
how he was raised. You don't talk to those.
-
You don't mess with those people.
-
You don't share this goodness with those people.
-
He's not just the God of. He didn't just split the sea
-
once. He didn't just go on the lion's
-
den once. He didn't just go on the fiery
-
furnace once. And I'm sorry to this generation
-
that you think you've come to church to learn more and more
-
and more about a historical being.
-
But I'm here to tell you that Jesus is alive and, and he wants
-
to get in your situation with you.
-
And he's not just the God of pastors and elders and deacons.
-
He's the God of the person that just came off of some alcohol
-
last night, just came out of the bed last night, just put down
-
the weed last night. He is everybody's got and he's
-
ready to move in your life right now.
-
Look at her answer. She did not get offended.
-
She did not get offended. She said you right, you right,
-
you right, she replied. But even puppies get to eat the
-
crumbs that fall from the Princess table.
-
Man, how how many hungry people in here?
-
Like, like, like, you can't tell me you hungry if I can't see you
-
hungry. You can say you want God, but
-
but how desperate are you? Are you desperate enough to lift
-
your hands? And are you desperate enough to
-
clap? Are you desperate enough to lose
-
your cool to your neighbor? He says, he says then Jesus
-
answered her. Dear woman, your faith, he's I,
-
I don't, I don't care who I'm called to right now.
-
Your faith has caused me to translate into a different
-
dispensation of time to meet your needs.
-
Today I, I, I hear God saying I didn't even come here to heal
-
backs and heal ulcers today, but because you are so desperate.
-
I'm here to heal whoever's hungry for healing.
-
I believe God is is done trying to prove himself to a very self
-
entitled generation. I believe in these coming times.
-
He's he's responding to people pulling on his hymn because he's
-
been there for you in ways that you cannot even acknowledge.
-
But we're going to see the greatest move of God in the
-
desperate in the most desperate places, he says.
-
And at that very moment, her daughter was instantly set free
-
from wait a minute. So she you.
-
Oh, hold on. So she used her faith for
-
somebody else. She she, she went to church and
-
lifted her hands for somebody else.
-
She, she, she danced for somebody else.
-
She got on her knees and bowed before the Lord for some.
-
If you ain't going to worship God for yourself, do it for
-
somebody else. Come on.
-
If you're not going to close the year out strong for yourself, do
-
it for your dying daddy. Do it for your lost son or
-
daughter. Do it for your city who is lost
-
in a pit of hell. Are you going to praise God for
-
somebody else? Are you going to lift your hands
-
for somebody else? Come on, for somebody else.
-
He saves you for somebody else. Come on, sing your own song.
-
Come on guys, we can't go into, we can't be so focused on 2025
-
that we don't come to the end of this year and give God our best
-
praise. Give God our best worship.
-
Come on, open your mouth all over the room and tell them
-
thank you, Lord, thank you for keeping me when I didn't want to
-
be kept. Thank you for loving me when I
-
didn't love myself. Thank you for giving me peace
-
when I was being chaotic myself. Thank you for feeding me when I
-
didn't even ask for nothing to eat.
-
Thank you for giving me friends. Thank you for giving me a church
-
home. Thank you for giving me another
-
chance. Lord, God, thank you for
-
bringing me out of darkness. Thank you for healing my mental
-
illness. Thank you for healing my Mama.
-
Thank you for healing my daddy. Thank you for healing my
-
brother. Thank you for healing my sister.
-
Thank you, Lord God. Thank you, Lord God, for you are
-
worthy to be praised. Come on, somebody magnify the
-
Lord with me. Let us exhort his name.
-
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
-
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
-
You touched me when I didn't want to be touched like the old
-
Saints You brought me from a mighty long way.
-
You have my attention, Lord God. You have my family's attention.
-
Lord God, you pick me up and turn me around and place my feet
-
on solid crown. You have my attention.
-
Come on, that same energy when you was in a desperate
-
situation, when you was about to lose your mind and you called on
-
the name of Jesus, when you was in that car accident, you asked
-
God for one more chance. Did He bring you out?
-
Some of you thought she was going to lose your mind this
-
year, but here you are. He kept you.
-
When you let Him go, He kept holding you.
-
Come on, you're worthy God. You're worthy God.
-
We're pulling on your hymn right now.
-
We're not waiting to 2025. If I can't praise you now, I
-
won't praise you then. We lay our goals for 2025 at the
-
altar. Lord, may you be our top goal.
-
May you, may we seek you first. Thank you, Jesus,
-
Come on. It's not going to hurt some of
-
you to take some moments to say thank you.
-
You can close your eyes, you can get out of your head.
-
You're not saying thank you to your homeboy, your home girl.
-
You're saying thank you to the one that saved your life.
-
You're saying thank you to the one that that impregnated you
-
when you were barren. You're saying thank you to the
-
one that restored your business. You're saying thank you to the
-
one that brought your son or daughter home.
-
You're saying thank you to the one that gave you your right
-
mind after you put drugs in your brain and alcohol in your brain.
-
You're saying thank you to the God that healed you and
-
delivered you and sets you free from depression and oppression
-
and anxiety. That's that God.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're saying thank you to the
-
God that made a way where there was no way.
-
You're saying thank you to the God that brought you out of that
-
surgery, saying thank you to the God that healed your
-
relationship with your children, healed your relationship with
-
your spouse. That's what we come to church
-
for. You can read the Bible at home.
-
We going we going to get into some word, but we came as a body
-
of sons and daughters to boast in our God, right.
-
Is it like like we should have all come in here today with a
-
thank you on our lips, not in our head.
-
Yeah, Lord, we pour it out today.
-
Come on, don't go into 2025 with a 2024 praise.
-
We we pour it all out today, the last Sunday of 2024.
-
We pour it all out today. Come on to my intercessors, you
-
lead the way and just open your mouths.
-
If it's not for your presence, I don't want it.
-
I don't want church without your presence.
-
I don't want purpose without your presence.
-
I don't want marriage without your presence.
-
I don't want parenting without your presence.
-
Come on. It's all about your presence.
-
We're we're pursuing you. Lord.
-
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
-
Thank you Jesus. The.
-
Come on, lift your hands all over the place, Jesus answered.
-
At that time, deception will run rampant, so beware that you are
-
not fooled for many will appear on the scene claiming my
-
authority or saying about themselves I am the Anointed 1
-
and they will lead many astray. You will hear of wars and
-
revolutions on every side with more rumors of wars to come.
-
Don't panic or don't give in to your fears, for the breaking
-
part of the world's systems is destined to happen, but it won't
-
yet be the end. It will still be unfolded.
-
Nations will go to war against nations, and kingdoms against
-
kingdoms, and there will be terrible earthquakes, horrible
-
epidemics and famines in place after place.
-
This is how the birth pains of the new age will begin.
-
You can expect to be persecuted, even killed, for you will be
-
hated by all the nations because of your love for me.
-
Then many will stop following me talking about believers and fall
-
away, and they will betray one another, meaning the church will
-
be a hot mess and turn on one another and gossip and talk
-
about each other and and demonize people for the ways
-
they do things. And there will be theological
-
debates and slanders and everybody's thinking they got
-
the right way. And the church will turn on
-
itself. It will betray one another and
-
hate one another. Many lying prophets will arise.
-
Well, if there's lying prophets, there are also truthful
-
prophets. There is no great move of God in
-
the latter days without prophets being recognized and set in the
-
church. So if you are more comfortable
-
in a church where the fivefold ministry gifts are not
-
acknowledged, activated, ordained and put in place as God
-
ordained it to be, promise you, you will not see miracles, signs
-
and wonders at the rate God has designed here it is and at the
-
rate the world needs as a witness that God is still alive.
-
Even Jesus himself, after he talked, it was always followed
-
by signs and wonders. And I understand we are in a
-
region, we are in a country, we are in a world, we are in a
-
North America where we get high off of knowledge and we accept a
-
lack of movement of God. We accept the lack of movement
-
of signs and wonders. Well, how did God convince the
-
world there is no real gospel being preached, shall I say
-
anointing without signs and wonders?
-
I'm sorry we have settled where God has restored the office of
-
teachers. It was never to take the place
-
of the anointing. So we have a lot of people
-
puffed up with knowledge and we're arguing over theology and
-
who's right, who's wrong, what schools you went to.
-
And we see in the Bible, when God started moving in the book
-
of Acts, even the smarty pants of religion said, whoa, there's
-
something different about these guys.
-
They didn't go to the same schools we went to.
-
They didn't sit in the same seminaries we they went to.
-
They didn't sit under the same teaching we did.
-
But one thing we can see is they've been with Jesus.
-
What the world needs to see is a church that walks with Jesus,
-
not a church that is more interested in how to hear God's
-
voice, but not learn how to walk with God.
-
See, here's the thing. You want to hear from God, You
-
want to learn how to hear God's voice, walk with them.
-
So, so hey, go buy that book. There's a lot of books out there
-
that can tell you how to hear God's voice.
-
There's a lot of conferences because we're we have a lot of
-
hungry Christians who are hyper spiritual.
-
We're more we have it here it is Bible says it, not PT.
-
But I agree with the Bible. There is a form of godliness,
-
but we deny the true power. We have entire universities in
-
the name of Christianity. No power on campus.
-
I don't care where we are. If we rock the name of Jesus, he
-
should be alive and even in the classroom.
-
Every now and then the Holy Spirit could get a hold of the
-
curriculum. Ain't he the one that that,
-
that, that wrote it? Who?
-
Who wrote the Bible you built your school off of?
-
So can the author of the Bible have his way in class?
-
Sometimes. Sometimes.
-
So here, he says, in the last days there is going to be great
-
deception. And there is going to be great
-
sin. Here it is.
-
Then many will stop following me and fall away.
-
And they will betray one another.
-
And many lying prophets will arise, deceiving multitudes and
-
leading them away from the path of truth.
-
How do you get LED away from the path of truth?
-
Because there's a truth that fits your dilemma or your way of
-
thinking. We, that's why.
-
We. That's why it's dangerous.
-
All you, you 2 churchgoers or you who may go to church, but
-
you got your favorite church on YouTube that that's in Tennessee
-
or something. And you, if you live there,
-
you'll go to that church. Well, if you were supposed to go
-
to that church, either God's telling you to move there or you
-
are not supposed to be there. And there's a church he has for
-
you here. And maybe if you're here, this
-
is the one for you, right? And and and and and we are
-
scrolling to find inspiration instead of getting in the word.
-
We, we, we instead of walking with God, we're walking with
-
updates, likes and trends. I don't think hearing from God
-
is a is a is a God problem. I think, I think your actions
-
show if you really want to hear from God like that, like like
-
like here it is the reason why you want God to speak in an
-
audible voice because that's that.
-
That's what your channel you only audible.
-
Guess who speaks really well in audible?
-
Yeah, the devil. Soon as you scream, hey, give me
-
a sign. He's like, oh, absolutely.
-
I give signs all day. Signs don't mean truth.
-
Goosebumps don't mean God. Gut feeling doesn't mean Holy
-
Ghost. But I can't really trust my gut
-
all the time. I can't trust my gut without
-
running my gut through the multitude of counselors and the
-
Holy Ghost. I don't care how my gut feel
-
about it. The Holy Ghost still got to have
-
he said. He said try the spirits, not try
-
your gut them goosebumps. You need to try who these
-
goosebumps from because you can go to a Taylor Swift concert and
-
get goosebumps. Sorry everybody that went to a
-
Taylor Swift concert has had goosebumps by Taylor Quicksilk,
-
but you know what I'm saying? So goosebumps is not a sign and
-
wonder. Sometimes you don't feel
-
nothing. Sometimes there's no sign.
-
What if the only sign is Jesus? Why we need extra.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
All right, let me let me read the Bible to you.
-
Amen. There will be such an increase
-
of of the sin of lawlessness that those whose hearts once
-
burn with passion for God, this is others will grow cold.
-
Wake Uncle Willie up. You get what I'm saying?
-
Hey, guys, listen. Listen, this is what I'm faced
-
with here. I see a lot of people who've
-
been in church for a long time. Can I, can I, can I just be
-
honest out of loving you? Your worship is pretty stale.
-
Like if I was a non believer here it is who doesn't
-
understand spiritual things. I could not tell you were in
-
love with God. I could not tell that he is your
-
Lord. I could not tell that you are
-
excited to be saved. I could not tell that you have a
-
revelation that you are chosen and royal priesthood.
-
Understand I am to be a witness not to y'all all the time right?
-
You, you the kind of person that turn on the flashlight when the
-
sun is out. So I see you all bright when you
-
around Christians, but the signs and wonders look when you save
-
this by faith when you lost you need a sign.
-
That's why some of y'all Hey Siri, tell me where to go and
-
and this is the day guys where stop crying out for revival.
-
If you don't want to be a sacrifice like like make it here
-
it is. Make your mind up.
-
Are you a Christian or a follower?
-
And what makes you think you're a follower?
-
What you following? OK, here it is.
-
If you follow Jesus, no one has to beg you to be at church on
-
Sundays. If you follow in Jesus, no one
-
has to ask you to forgive your neighbor.
-
If you follow in Jesus ready, no one has to beg you to tithe.
-
If you follow in Jesus, no one has to remind you, let
-
everything that has breath praise the Lord.
-
Is that me? Is that you?
-
Right, right, right. If you follow in Jesus, then you
-
count it all joy. When you follow in Jesus, no one
-
got to always encourage you. If you follow in Jesus, you're
-
not going to mean mug the pastor the whole service.
-
Right when you following Jesus, nobody got to pump and prime
-
you. Hey, hey, it's worship.
-
Hey guys, God's here. Just in case you didn't know the
-
Lord's here. I know it's a garage.
-
He was born in a major kind of similar.
-
The the worship's good. The the musicianship is good.
-
The skill is good. The the mics are pretty good
-
quality. The speakers are great.
-
Hey, you hear me right? The stage is raised.
-
We got a nice stage in the garage.
-
We're good. We got a sleek contemporary
-
podium for you, right? We got TV's for you to read the
-
words something. Do you all see the lyrics on the
-
screen? I, I tell, I tell.
-
I said this before, and you guys can tell me better than I can
-
remember, but a sign that you're free is your site.
-
Let me tell you, if you still see the saying you're not free,
-
you can't. You can't tell me that your
-
praise look the same in December as it did in January.
-
Not if he brought you through. Like if you have a revelation of
-
God's saving mercy, right? And let me help you.
-
Praise, worship, clapping, dancing, making a joyful noise.
-
It's a doctrine, it's theology, It's, it's, it's, it's biblical,
-
right? The Bible I read is a pretty
-
colorful, noisy place, right? Why is this important?
-
Because you got to understand that in these latter days, it's
-
a sound war. It's a worship war.
-
It's a pray. Why?
-
This is how important praise and worship is is the devil finds
-
his greatest talent in the church.
-
Go go do your history. Go do your history.
-
The sounds always spin off of the church what God is doing
-
like if you want to know who got the greatest sound on earth and
-
in heaven, it is the Kingdom of God.
-
Hallelujah. So, so we need, we need the room
-
participation, we need you to worship God.
-
We need you to participate in that.
-
We need you to act like you believe God is here.
-
All right, all right, so, so I'm going to do a quick little
-
review, real quick. And then I got to get to see you
-
because it's last Sunday. It's the last message that God
-
has said. This is how we're going to close
-
the year. And then New Year's Eve, we will
-
have a word for New Year's. And I cannot wait to deliver it
-
because it's weighty, it's heavy, and I cannot, I think
-
this is the first time I've never ever shared with one
-
person, maybe except my wife, what the word is going to be.
-
I haven't told you yet. Look at that, look at that.
-
This is the first time it is that sacred.
-
It is that heavy. And 2025 is, it's going to be a
-
year, it's going to be a year and it's a year he's prepared us
-
for. And I think we need to get this
-
right here. All right?
-
I really like the sound of this mic because I get to hear money,
-
you know, I get to hear my voice like this, you know what I'm
-
saying? Amen.
-
Just today, today's today's title, he said for the to close
-
out the year, here's what I want you to tell the people out of
-
everything we preach this year, This is going to wrap it up with
-
a nice bow. Today we're talking about
-
capacity for chaos, a capacity for chaos, a capacity.
-
I just read to you that you, you were actually born in, saved in,
-
called to a chaotic time in history.
-
Can we agree that everything I just read is happening?
-
Earthquakes. Anybody heard of any earthquakes
-
lately? Right.
-
Any, anybody ever anybody heard of any wars lately?
-
Rumors of wars? Anybody?
-
Anybody see kingdoms fighting against kingdoms?
-
If you haven't, the church is fighting against the church,
-
right? So these aren't just physical
-
kingdoms. These are also spiritual
-
kingdoms. OK, so we're in it.
-
Somebody say we're in it. So, so, so God, why are you
-
going to call me the crazy time? Like there's only one man that
-
that didn't live that lived out of crazy time.
-
Two people lived out of crazy time.
-
Sound like for a quick minute, Adam and Eve, and then they
-
introduced us to crazy time. And then we've all lived in
-
crazy time and the world's getting crazier.
-
Not that there's new crazy things, but crazy is amplified.
-
You got to understand, because this brings crazy to you right
-
now, Please don't turn on your phone unless you take a note.
-
A lot of you guys aren't, but that's OK.
-
So, so you're good, but there's distractions.
-
There's notifications. How many notifications you got
-
on your phone? Crazy, crazy, crazy.
-
It's crazy that we will install crazy when there's already crazy
-
around us. I think we're addicted to crazy.
-
I think we really like crazy, Andrew.
-
I think when it's not crazy, we'll feel like we're missing
-
out. I think, I think we, we, we, we,
-
we, we mourn crazy. That's why we are hesitant to
-
walk towards peace, right? Right.
-
Ask yourself, do you really want the peace of God?
-
And then ask yourself, what have you done to get that peace?
-
Because He gave it to you. So the problem of having peace
-
is not because this hasn't been given.
-
He actually have given you a higher level of peace that
-
cannot be touched by the enemy, only given away by you.
-
I'll say that again. God's peace cannot be touched by
-
the enemy, but only given away or not received by you.
-
How do I know the enemy can't have this peace?
-
Because it's not his. The peace of the world is his.
-
The peace that God's given us, that surpasses all understanding
-
is God's peace. And the devil can't touch
-
nothing. That's God's you ready, not even
-
you so. So there's a capacity for chaos,
-
which means in the darkest times of the world, you should have
-
the most joy and the most peace as a child of God.
-
Yes. Just because you can't handle
-
it, let me pass, pass. You can work through fingers,
-
fingertips. Just just because you can't
-
handle it doesn't mean it's chaos.
-
How about we start there? How about we start there?
-
We didn't, we didn't pay our Internet bill.
-
So we got a, we just, we just had $101,000 come in over the
-
last week, but we didn't pay our Internet bill.
-
So that was that was a quick, quick little, quick little
-
praise report for those that know we took up our victory seat
-
last Sunday. The goal was to bring in 100
-
grand and it's for, you know, some overhead, but also for our
-
building next door that is being built right now.
-
And, and we are still believing for that last 340.
-
What we got 100 of it now we're believing for I think was it
-
282842424240 And we're believing for that to come in before the
-
end of the years. Is is is out that hey, if I
-
believe, if we believe for 100 grand and it came, I hope you
-
understood we was believing for a hundred 101 came in.
-
Yeah, but we we didn't pay our Internet bill.
-
So This is why this is taking a long time to go forward.
-
There we go. There we go.
-
Just just because you can't handle it doesn't mean it's
-
chaos. It means you need greater
-
capacity and God's allowing something to tip your scale.
-
Some of you guys, can I, can I help some of y'all?
-
Can I just be the one in your life?
-
To tell you the truth, some of y'all is way too dramatic.
-
Have you, you ever had that phone that that person you with?
-
Oh, excuse me, Oh my God. And you like what happened?
-
It's supposed to rain tomorrow. And if you got kids in your
-
life, if yes, your wife or your husband, you like this,
-
something happened to the kid, it's going to rain tomorrow. 30%
-
trance of rain tomorrow. Anybody anybody know someone
-
that is dramatic and if you sit next to them, do not raise your
-
hand, but anybody knows someone that's dramatic?
-
Wow. We got a lot of dramatic people
-
in here because you're not raising your hand right right
-
here. Here's here's here's what it is
-
you, you, you, you, you magnify something very small.
-
You ready, you. Oh, this is so good, Holy Ghost.
-
You believe the hype of your own perspective.
-
Write it down. You believe your own hype.
-
So you is, is is 8:00 AM on Sunday and it's a 30% chance of
-
rain with some sun pictures on the weather report.
-
And you like everybody, kids won't be ready.
-
It's going to rain. It's going to be a storm this
-
week. And then you get into tomorrow,
-
JT and the sun come out. It's beautiful.
-
You like see and they like what it's going to rain today at some
-
point. Can't nobody change your
-
perspective and anybody that tries to give you a God
-
perspective they too deep they spiritual you don't understand
-
you don't care. Jesus is sleeping a storm.
-
They look at him resting instead of looking at his leadership of
-
peace. They wake him up when he's
-
trying to stay asleep. They don't know if on the inside
-
he what about that. They just don't see him freaking
-
out. So then they wake him up to say,
-
don't you care about us? Here it is.
-
Here it is day in the storm. These are fishermen.
-
We bout to die. Now listen, I'd have been there.
-
I didn't. I didn't.
-
I didn't have to throw. I hate throwing up and I wanted
-
them like I'm all in when I got to throw up.
-
Like I don't if it's three in the morning, everybody about to
-
wake up, ask my wife, She gets the words.
-
I'm like, hey, look, I didn't have Julia call the ambulance at
-
cumber times, but because because I'm trying not to throw
-
up, because I don't like throwing up, because because I'm
-
like my my whole body go into it.
-
I'm like, I'm like crumping. I'm like, right?
-
I'm laid out on the bathroom, bring me a pillow in the
-
bathroom. I need cold towel everything.
-
And so I start hyperventilating because I'm trying to keep it
-
down. And then once I start, I'm going
-
and I get dehydrated quick. I remember one time this is
-
this. This could have cost our
-
marriage because I was like, I was really sick.
-
OK, it to me, I was really sick. She had to go to work.
-
I think I was left with Malia and Malachi and Michael, 03
-
kids. OK.
-
She had to go to work and I'm like she cannot go to work
-
today. And I'm like babe, I don't I
-
don't feel good. She just getting dressed.
-
I'm like no, she is not about to leave me here with three kids
-
and I'm I'm over here sick. She walks out the door.
-
Go smooth to work and I think I threw without throw up or
-
something. I was you wasn't there.
-
So I was I was throwing up the kids was there.
-
I think I Dang near fell down the stairs on purpose and I and
-
I was like, who was it? Malachi?
-
It was one of the kids. I said call the ambulance or
-
I'll call the ambulance or something.
-
So the ambulance came, huh? Yeah.
-
You want to tell the story? Come on.
-
Come on. Come on.
-
No, you got to come up here. No, no, no.
-
You got to come up here. Ain't it funny how she she don't
-
want to say nothing else, but she want to hop on?
-
How dramatic I am. Hey, man.
-
Well, we had been through this quite a few times, so I knew
-
what was going to happen because we had a history of this
-
happening. So I said I have to go to work.
-
Mind you, I'm the boss if I. Not the boss of me.
-
The boss of my job, if I call in sick to work, there's no one to
-
replace me. However, I feel like because
-
I've have a history of this, he will be fine.
-
However he called, they call the ambulance, I am down the road.
-
Oh, not only that, my commute was a hour and a half.
-
So I'm like an hour down the road and I get a phone call.
-
I'm going to have to call the ambulance.
-
I'm going to and I said you are fine.
-
You are going to be fine. Why are you looking at me like
-
I'm not throwing up right now? Then he they call the ambulance,
-
the fire department comes the ambulance or the fire department
-
guy says this to me. You need to tell your husband
-
there's nothing we can do for him.
-
He needs to calm down or we are going to take him to the
-
hospital and we're going to have to take your kids, all three of
-
our children into custody. I said put my husband, put my
-
husband on the phone. Terrence, you better pull it
-
together before they take our kids to children's services
-
because you just have to throw up.
-
Do y'all feel like she's still trying to need some healing from
-
this? Hey, man, go.
-
So they gave them a paper bag and they left and our kids were
-
fine. I felt that one.
-
Yeah, she that was anointed right there.
-
Hey man, I mean look, I told y'all I've overcome a lot God
-
has brought me from a mighty long way, but it but it but look
-
I've got now. This was honest to God truth
-
ever since you you gave me game on breathing.
-
That's my brother that the enemy because because you know when
-
you sick like you, it'll attack your mind right.
-
So it's more mental, it's more spiritual and and and my Mama
-
here, I kind of got this from my mom when my mom don't feel well,
-
listen, my my Mama, I'm about to tell all my childhood years, I'm
-
like, what's going on? Is my Mama OK?
-
She when she don't feel it? Look, if she got a cold, she I'm
-
like masterpiece na na na na. What?
-
So I kind of got a little bit of that drama from Nana.
-
Amen. It's out the bloodline now.
-
Amen. Hallelujah.
-
But this is not about me. This is about y'all.
-
OK, listen. But but in my mind, I couldn't
-
handle it. In my mind, you would have
-
thought I got shot in my in my mind, right.
-
And what, you know, once anxiety kicks in, it's just spirals out
-
of control, right. And what has helped me the most
-
when anxiety that like it, I don't I can't remember the last
-
time I remember, you know, laying down.
-
And I feel like the spirit of death would come and try and
-
show me dying at it. Like, I grew up in a place where
-
a lot of people died at a young age, you know, to do the murder
-
and prison and drugs. And so I was accustomed to men
-
that look like me not living long, that that's a normal
-
thing. OK.
-
So as you begin to walk on this frontline with the Lord, it's
-
not I'm going to walk with Jesus because it's easy.
-
It's like, no, the enemy's going to attack one way or another.
-
It's just when you got eyes to see, you know, the attack,
-
right, You can see the attack and it's almost more real.
-
Like it didn't bother me this way when I was out drinking and
-
smoking. But now I've got my right mind
-
and now I, I'm not going to compromise under pressure.
-
And now I'm loving and now I'm forgiving and now I'm obeying
-
the word of God and now I'm following the Lord.
-
Not now. It's like, oh, and so for me,
-
the the breathing, but not like just breathing.
-
It's as I'm breathing, I am opening my mouth to speak the
-
word. It's not no, you can't.
-
You can't warfare with thoughts. You got to open your mouth and
-
speak a word against what's attacking you.
-
So if your health is being attacked, you better know that
-
by His stripes I am the healed and not the sick.
-
Greater is He in me than he that is in the world.
-
No weapon formed against me shall prosper. 1000 may fall by
-
my side. 10,000 at my right hand, neither shall it come.
-
Come on, you got to know the word of God.
-
And This is why we ask you during worship, open your mouth.
-
Some of you are too. What are you thinking about?
-
You had a whole drive here to think you would sleep all night.
-
You could have thought you had breakfast.
-
You could have thought when we come together, man, we supposed
-
to be like a bunch of like seals on the on the shore.
-
Just oh oh oh oh holy holy holy. Please, please, I don't have
-
time. So y'all, y'all got to y'all got
-
to go listen to this warning's message because it's the last
-
time I can get to see you this year and you got to go listen to
-
this message this morning about chaos, right?
-
He said. He said you can handle all of
-
it. Philippians 413 says I can do
-
all things. What does all things mean?
-
He says. I'm self-sufficient, in crisis
-
sufficiency. I am ready for anything.
-
What does anything mean? I'm ready.
-
Say I'm ready for anything. 2nd Thessalonians says that the Lord
-
of peace himself grant you his peace.
-
Whose peace? His peace at all times, What
-
times? All times.
-
So it don't matter who leave you, who forsake you.
-
It don't matter who's in office, don't matter who's the Prime
-
Minister, who's the president, what wars are breaking out.
-
There is a peace for all times, right?
-
So you got to understand that you have a capacity, but you
-
don't have a. God is not giving you a God has
-
not given you his capacity for your plan.
-
God is not giving you his capacity for you to do you.
-
A lack of peace restricts capacity.
-
This is why the enemy is so after your peace.
-
A lack of peace leaves hole holes in your armor.
-
A lack of peace leaves holes in your armor.
-
Some of you have to stop it now being so dramatic.
-
Some of you got to learn how to stand.
-
Because when you panic and when you're anxious, that is a wide
-
open door to the enemy. To bring depression and anxiety
-
and drama to your life. You wonder why drama always
-
finds you. For some of you, you want the
-
drama. For some of you, you want to
-
hear bad news. You're attracted to it.
-
You're expecting something bad to happen.
-
For you to believe God's about to do great things in your life
-
without a but is against how you was raised.
-
For you to not gossip is against how you was raised.
-
For you to tell somebody that's running to you to dump some
-
trash on you, for you to be like, you know what, I really do
-
want to know what you have to say.
-
But you know what, I got to guard my peace.
-
I'm good. Somebody, somebody, somebody,
-
somebody ran in my room the other day.
-
They was on the phone and, and somebody was arguing or
-
something. They was like, man, come answer
-
this. Look, look, look, they, they, I
-
said, I don't want to hear it. Get out the room.
-
Some of y'all too afraid to tell people you don't want to hear
-
it. It's OK not to know what's going
-
on. It's OK not to give your heart
-
and your soul and your mind to drama.
-
Let people be dramatic. Drama eats away at the fiber of
-
your capacity. And some of y'all worried about
-
people thinking you're not there for them.
-
I could be there for you. We're not without having to
-
carry your drama. Come at me with a God
-
perspective and now let's talk about your problems.
-
Are you coming to me to complain?
-
Are you coming to me to say, hey, you my stand in partner.
-
Here's a scripture that I found that I'm just coming to you not
-
to just pray for me, but I need you to stand.
-
That's the language. Stand with me.
-
Way too many people. It's like here, Andrew, can you
-
pray for me? Thank you.
-
Let me know what God say versus grabbing a hold of your friend's
-
hand and saying, look, the enemy is attacking my mind, but I
-
found a word and I'm giving you the scripture I'm standing on
-
because we're two or three are gathered in agreement in the
-
name of Jesus. There he is in the midst.
-
I need you to stand with me versus patting me on the back
-
all the time. In 2025, we got to lose that
-
excuse. Excuses have to be done.
-
Excuses got to be over. This church should be packed.
-
You, you see, You see how Christmas production can bring
-
people out. You see how Christmas production
-
can keep people for long rehearsals multiple times a
-
week. You see how Christmas production
-
can have people to have elite focus.
-
And then the rest of the year, what do we do?
-
We play dumb, but God gets our best around Christmas because
-
that's when the little baby was born.
-
This when Jesus birthday was. So we better get it right
-
because Jesus was born this month, but you started honoring
-
him in October. Ain't he ain't he was is and to
-
come. So it ain't about when he was
-
born. He's alive, but we treat him
-
like we really welcoming in a baby.
-
We get all sweet, we forgive. We don't want to argue, we don't
-
want to do nothing because it's Christmas.
-
Some of y'all don't want to argue because you want some
-
gifts. That's what you do.
-
Definitely not arguing for. But how does Christmas bring the
-
best spirit out of more people? Is is it the music?
-
So have we made Christmas an idol and not Jesus our Lord?
-
And it's crazy how we believe that's his birthday.
-
How do I know we believe? Because you start acting
-
different. But but what if I tell he's he's
-
alive? He's like today, like tomorrow
-
when you're not in this building.
-
Little baby Jesus who then grew up, died, Rose again, is alive,
-
sitting on the throne in charge. Where's, where's that same level
-
of commitment? Wait, you ready?
-
Why do we have a compel to bring people to a production but not
-
till Sunday or Wednesday? How y'all compel so strong for
-
Christmas? For some of y'all part of it is
-
they see you practicing, so they see your commitment has
-
increased. So I got to come.
-
So here it is for some of y'all. If you got family members that's
-
willing to come out and see you perform, maybe it's worth you
-
being here every week to increase the chances of family
-
following you to the House of God.
-
Hallelujah. So in 2025, let's lose that
-
excuse. In 2025, we going to Max out,
-
not tap out. We going to Max out, not tap
-
out. Hey, hey, hey, you got 3
-
terabytes. God gave you 3 terabytes and you
-
are tapping out at 500 gigabytes talking about you don't got I
-
can't go no more God. No, that's perspective.
-
Just because it's hard don't mean it's it's chaotic.
-
Just because you don't ain't skilled at it, don't mean it's
-
chaotic. Stop calling everything chaos.
-
You can go back and look at the story of Second Kings.
-
We met. We we mentioned this morning,
-
but we learned in Second Kings that the woman who had only a
-
little bit of oil was asked by the man of God, go get some jars
-
and barrels. He said, get as many as you can
-
and then go in the house, lock the door, you and your sons.
-
She got as many as she can. And boy, she started pouring.
-
Supernatural oil was pouring and then she said, hey, bring me
-
another jar and her son when her son said we're we don't have no
-
more jars and because there was no more jars, there was no more
-
oil. And here's the thing, create
-
capacity first a part of waiting on the Lord is preparing for the
-
Lord. Some of y'all pray you say Lord
-
do this for me. Are you creating and preparing?
-
Anybody in here ever have a little baby?
-
A few of y'all, when you knew you was pregnant, what'd you
-
start doing in your house? Huh?
-
Preparing right? You got a little baby on your
-
lap. That little girl when she was
-
just in the womb didn't even know her name.
-
She had a room in the house and if it wasn't a room, you start
-
looking for places that like that baby.
-
Don't. That baby going to sleep with
-
you and here you are looking for a bigger house because your
-
family is expanding in eight months.
-
Here you are praying to God and all you doing is the same stuff,
-
but you believe in big. And I'm like, look, I'm going to
-
miss this process. It's going to come a point where
-
Love Quest is just managing. It's not going to be hard to
-
bring in money. It's not going to be like I'm
-
going to miss the setup. I'm going to miss the mopping
-
and I'm going to miss some of these process because it's in
-
the preparation and the process. And when you got something to
-
believe for that draws you closer to God and you learn who
-
you are. You don't learn who you are when
-
God just show up with a Santa Claus bag and give you what you
-
want. You got people in other parts of
-
the world who've been waiting on God to move for generations, not
-
even 10 years, generations and he ain't showed up yet, but the
-
process of waiting on the Lord and believing and preparing.
-
You got people who believe God has something better for them so
-
much they will hop on the rudder of a ship to go all the way
-
across the world, hoping they land in a country that will give
-
them a better chance. Let me tell you something, you
-
don't hop on a rudder of a ship and go across the Atlantic or go
-
across any ocean without something in you saying there's
-
more for me. And some folks are willing to
-
die right where you are unless God bring it to you.
-
You create capacity first. Have you made as much room
-
possible for the things you are believing for?
-
That's what waiting on the Lord looks like.
-
That's what waiting on the Lord looks like.
-
Preparation. A Mama is not just sitting on
-
her back for nine months. She's going to classes, she's
-
walking around nurturing that baby.
-
She shifts her that me and my wife was drinking and partying
-
and partying and drinking and and and partying and drinking
-
and drinking and partying. She got pregnant.
-
Guess what? Stop drinking and partying for
-
her. And then shortly after it
-
stopped for me because although I wasn't carrying, although I
-
was not the one carrying, here it is.
-
It was my responsibility to nurture the carrier because what
-
she was carrying was as much mine as it was hers, and what
-
she was carrying was my responsibility as well.
-
This is why we worship the way we worship and we need
-
everybody's participation because what I'm carrying, if we
-
can give birth to it, it's going to benefit you.
-
And if we can help you give birth to what you you're
-
pregnant with, it's going to benefit the world.
-
And that's why I say, if you're not going to pray for nobody
-
else, pray for yourself, pray for somebody else, right?
-
But life changed. We couldn't live the same.
-
You can't go into 2025 the same. You're going to remember this
-
passionate voice. You cannot go in the same and
-
you cannot show up to 2025 starting the change.
-
No, no, no, we, we, we started, if you've been it been on this
-
wave, we started a few months ago, 2025 been here and you got
-
a chance a few more days to end this year.
-
How you want to start? Get ahead of the goals.
-
Got to take the lid off of your expectations, and you got to
-
take the lid off God's capacity in your life.
-
Your capacity. Here we go.
-
No, no, your capacity is compromised by your fear of
-
trusting people. Because although the woman got
-
the word, she still was instructed to get help.
-
Let me help you. If you could do it by yourself,
-
it ain't God. You can run your business by
-
yourself. You can run that nonprofit by
-
yourself. You can, you can, you can, you
-
can raise kids by yourself. No, no, I'm talking about the
-
married ones who still want to do it independent.
-
You thinking too small. You should think generationally.
-
You you should think you're city.
-
You should think you're family. You should think you're
-
coworkers. God's promises, yo.
-
Here we go, Chaka Khan. God's promises aren't based on
-
your ability. It's rooted in your obedience.
-
No, no, no, no, no. Everything that God has for you
-
has already been given You. Ready.
-
He can't take it back. So you not walking in what he
-
promised is not because he's withholding anything.
-
Bible tells you that he withholds nothing good.
-
Hallelujah, here you go. It's it's it's your obedience.
-
Somebody say obedience. Here we go.
-
For with God nothing is ever impossible, and no word from God
-
shall be without power or impossible fulfillment.
-
No word from God shall be without what power or impossible
-
or fulfilled. There is nothing we have
-
declared in this house that is impossible to be fulfilled.
-
Nothing. Then.
-
Then Mary said, OK, remember, remember a few verses before she
-
said, I don't understand how this going to happen.
-
I ain't slept with nobody. I ain't kissed nobody.
-
I I have not lied down with anyone.
-
So how I'm about to get pregnant, right?
-
Couple verses later, she says I am the handmaiden of the Lord.
-
Here it is, here it is, here it is.
-
She accepted the word she went from how is this going to happen
-
to I am the one? Ain't that what she just said?
-
I am the handmaid. Whatever you call me, God,
-
that's who I am. Look what she said.
-
Let it be done to me according according according to what you
-
have said. Not even according to what
-
you've done. Got what you have said?
-
And the Angel left her. Where did the Angel go?
-
Where the Angel go? The Angel, She, he delivered the
-
mail. She opened it up and sign the
-
dotted line and the Angel left and then she had a husband who
-
got a word. See some of y'all stuck in one
-
place because you worried about how other people going to accept
-
it. The same people you afraid of is
-
the same people God's already dealing with a heart about you.
-
All right, you ready? Right at the bottom, The small
-
fine print right here. Your understanding isn't needed
-
for a miracle. All right, y'all, y'all get that
-
on this side. Y'all get that on this side, OK?
-
Your understanding isn't needed for God to move.
-
Sometimes yo-yo, yo-yo understanding could get in the
-
way. He is.
-
Thank Father, here, here, here is Jesus, here, here is Jesus.
-
Now you see how obedience is passed on.
-
That was Jesus, Mama. Now here go her son.
-
Father, if you are willing, remove this cup yet not my will.
-
In other words, what He says. My capacity to walk through this
-
is way smaller than your capacity to walk me through it.
-
I want you to see this part now. Somebody shout out now and Angel
-
appear. What is now?
-
No, no, no, no. But look, look, look, look,
-
look. After he yielded, I want you to
-
see this. He was done.
-
Now an Angel appeared to him, strengthening him.
-
What did the Angel just come do? Gave him a capacity to finish.
-
Oh, wait a minute. You expecting God to take you
-
out of the hard time? What if he came to touch you and
-
give you a capacity to finish? Hallelujah.
-
Let me. OK, OK, let me.
-
Let me read some more. If he said it, he'll do it.
-
If he said it, he'll do it. If he said it, he'll do it.
-
Love quest. Remember this word.
-
Clear. Lots of ground for your tents.
-
Make your tents large, spread out, think big.
-
Use plenty of rope. Drive the tent pegs deep.
-
You're going to need lots of elbow room for your growing
-
family. Now now, now, now, now, now,
-
now. Why would God come and say
-
something's coming? Make room.
-
Some of you want to make room after it comes too late.
-
If you haven't made room, you're carrying what should have had
-
space for it. God didn't say what I'm about to
-
bring. You got to carry it.
-
You have to make space for it in your life.
-
So he says, clear lots of ground, make your tents.
-
What? Spread what?
-
Think what use what drive the 10 pegs what you're going to what
-
need lots of room. Here it is.
-
I love it. You guys catch it, catch it on
-
what your increase is for growing family.
-
You don't need no more room for you If all you focused on is
-
being blessed for you, You don't need no room but for God's
-
plans. He says you need to enlarge and
-
increase capacity for the the people that I've brought around
-
you. Remember this from the other
-
day, Christmas Eve. I don't care how it went down.
-
Watch how it comes up, he says. You're going to take over whole
-
nations. You're going to resettle
-
abandoned cities. Don't be afraid.
-
You're not going to be embarrassed.
-
Don't hold back, he says. Do not let fear minimize or
-
restrict how far you extend and how big you prepare.
-
Some of you have this little false humility, and when God's
-
trying to bless you or someone's trying to bless you, God's
-
blessing you through someone you like.
-
No, that's OK. I don't need that.
-
But but maybe all of it ain't for you.
-
Maybe God's trying to get it to you because the person that's
-
blessing you does not have the relationship that you have with
-
the person that need it. Maybe God's not trying to just
-
get it to you. He's trying to get it through
-
you. So there's none.
-
That's OK. That's OK.
-
I don't. I don't need all of that.
-
No, you don't. But you know somebody who needs
-
some of it. Capacity can be increased by
-
offloading. Hebrews 12 says let us strip off
-
and throw aside every encumbrance.
-
What is encumbrance? It is the unnecessary way.
-
But there's also good that needs to be offloaded.
-
What was good one season is not good in this season.
-
Have you thought about in 2025 what relationships you need to
-
re prioritize? Have you thought about some of
-
those people who need less time because they waste time?
-
Or is everybody going to get just as much as they've gotten
-
in the past? Is there more?
-
Is there other people in your life who are hungry for what's
-
on your life, but you've been giving it to people who take you
-
for granted? Am I talking to anybody I know?
-
I'm talking to at least two people in here.
-
Capacity can be increased by purging.
-
John 15 two says this. If you want to be more fruitful
-
and if you want greater fruit, you want greater relationships,
-
you want greater wisdom, Look, purging is a part of growth.
-
You have your father's DNA. What do I mean?
-
In the beginning God created by forming from nothing the heavens
-
and the earth, and the earth was formless and void or a what
-
waste and emptiness and darkness was upon the face of the deep
-
primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth.
-
The Spirit of God was moving. You have your Father's DNA in
-
the midst of in the midst of chaos.
-
What do we see God moving? Here it is.
-
And God said, here it is. Here's God's answer to this
-
chaos. He said, let there be light.
-
I got to show you this. And there was what like God saw
-
that the light was what? Good, pleasing, useful.
-
And he affirmed and sustained it.
-
And God separated the light, distinguished.
-
He separated the light distinguished.
-
He separated the light, distinguishing it.
-
I'm going to say it again. He separated the light,
-
distinguishing it from the darkness.
-
Should I be able to tell the difference between you and dark?
-
In human form, you are the light.
-
He spoke Into Darkness. How do I know that?
-
Here's how Jesus put it. You are the light of the world.
-
You are a city set on the hill. So let your light shine.
-
You know what this world needs in this chaos?
-
Jesus, you are. The light of Christ is.
-
Is that what you? You.
-
You are? You are pointing to Jesus by
-
your light shining. You were created to shine in
-
chaos. You ready?
-
You cannot shine in chaos without capacity for chaos.
-
You have capacity for wherever God is calling you.
-
Wherever God is calling you, He's anointed you for it.
-
Here it is. The anointing is the capacity.
-
Not my will, your will, not my strength.
-
Your strength. Here it is.
-
The anointing is the capacity, not your education.
-
The anointing is the capacity, not your ability to hit high
-
notes. The anointing is the capacity.
-
You ready? What is the anointing?
-
It's when God puts his super on my natural right?
-
I tried, I tried to I tried to get a little all nations, a
-
little different diversities. That's all.
-
That's all Campbell would give me is a little blonde baby and a
-
little little whatever the little baby is with the black
-
hair Italian or whatever he is and my sister at the top.
-
OK, I I really did type in the can Canva S curl.
-
I typed in perm. It didn't come up.
-
So I had to type in curls because you can have a natural,
-
you can have a nappy head, you can have whatever.
-
Some people understand, some people don't, but you put that
-
perm on there. Now let let me let me help.
-
Let me let me help, let me help. Black folks ain't the only
-
people that get perms. OK?
-
So listen, let's not put perms on the colored people's side.
-
No, a lot of people get perms. OK?
-
What does perms do? Tell me about it.
-
Tell me about it. Huh.
-
No. Why all the colored people
-
answering? I don't want to hear from the
-
colored people. I want to hear some of the
-
blonde people. I want to hear it oils.
-
What else it do boy it. Yup.
-
Coys. Gotcha.
-
What else? What else?
-
What is come on. It permanently changes the Yeah,
-
Yeah. What else?
-
Yeah, It it it stretches. Yeah, yeah, huh.
-
It adds what volume? It adds volume.
-
OK, All right. It give it gives you potential,
-
right. And it gives you potential.
-
OK, when the back in the day when I had hair now I thought
-
about growing it back in 2025 just to show y'all still got it.
-
But I would I, I, I, I got a little perm.
-
I I did a little S curl thing and little Johnny Gill.
-
Y'all don't know who Johnny Gill is but I did get it's when God
-
puts his super on your natural. Here it is.
-
I'll give you 2 and we'll go but you shall receive power.
-
I need y'all to see this. When God says that I am sending
-
you the Holy Spirit, He's saying I know you don't have capacity
-
for what I called you to do but you shall read.
-
This is why he said take your butt to Jerusalem.
-
Stay there, don't go nowhere until the Holy Ghost comes upon
-
you. And when he comes here it is.
-
You'll receive power. Here's the breakdown of power
-
ability. I don't, I don't.
-
I don't know why they got that they.
-
There you go. Thank you.
-
Ability, efficiency and my capacity.
-
Walking with the Holy Spirit gives you greater capacity for
-
what God has called you to. And when he comes up on you,
-
look, you will be my witnesses. Oh, how the church is trying to
-
be a witness without the Holy Ghost.
-
We have took the Holy Ghost out of church and it's all man, it's
-
all head. And the Holy Ghost is no longer
-
in the driver's seat, let alone the passenger seat.
-
He is in the back seat. And in some churches he is in
-
the trunk. You want to know why our cities
-
have more impact in the church? You want to know why they said
-
the church? It is impossible to call us non
-
essential when the power of God runs our churches.
-
That's why God wasn't moving when we was trying to open the
-
doors and all that because the world told us the truth.
-
You're not helping us. It's kind of like when a child
-
tell their parent something and you just want us, you.
-
And in your mind you like you, you right, you right, you right.
-
It's like the world told us you're not offering us anything.
-
So what are you being open for? Why are we risking gathering for
-
what? If we're going to be, if we're
-
going to take a risk, let the chances of transformation,
-
freedom and deliverance be prominent.
-
But the church, when has the church become a risk?
-
When it used to be a place where people ran to when trouble came.
-
That's why we're not going to let people run our services.
-
If you got to go, go. The Holy Ghost will run our
-
services and we have great order, but we going to give him
-
an opportunity to do what he promised he will do.
-
Pro presenter will not run our service.
-
Hallelujah. He says you'll be able to be my
-
witnesses. I'll close here. 2nd Corinthians
-
3. Yet we don't see ourselves as
-
capable enough to do anything in our own strength, for our true
-
competence flows from God's empowering presence.
-
You see why the church needs presence?
-
Man, you can go into some churches these days.
-
I'm talking about big churches, and ain't nobody raising their
-
hand doing worship. Oh, pray for the worship leaders
-
in these atmospheres, but also we're the worship leaders that
-
are challenging the congregation on lifting.
-
First of all, teach them that they hands they hands raised as
-
biblical. It's not cultural right?
-
Them them saying Hallelujah is not charismatic or Pentecostal
-
or a black thing. It's not an American thing.
-
It's a Bible thing. Where do we get Hallelujah from
-
the Bible? Where do we get a man from the
-
Bible? Where do we get dancing from the
-
Bible? Where do we get clapping from
-
the Bible? Where do we get shouting from
-
the Bible? Shouting was actually a strategy
-
to breakdown walls. So I don't care how many
-
thousands of people you got in your church.
-
Can you are your are those people in your seat soldiers?
-
Can they win people to Jesus? Can they lead people to Christ?
-
Can they cast out a demon? Do they know who they are?
-
Is they marriage is winning. We satisfied because our
-
churches are full and tithe is coming in.
-
Don't pay no tithe. It ain't paying anyway.
-
Don't give tithe. Don't give to remnant.
-
God is going to sponsor the church He called you giving as
-
an opportunity for your household to get in on what God
-
is doing says He alone makes us adequate.
-
I don't care how many books you got on your shelf if the Holy
-
Spirit ain't in it. He alone makes us adequate who
-
are focused on an entirely new covenant.
-
Our ministry is not based on the letter of the law it but through
-
the power of the Spirit pours out life.
-
There is nothing in us that allows us to claim that we are
-
capable of doing this work. Here it is.
-
The capacity we have comes from God.
-
Want to know why it's you? I can't do it.
-
You're right. You've come to the end of you.
-
That is good news. You can't do it.
-
That is the most amazing news we've heard that you can't do
-
it. But most of the time we'll quit
-
on what we can't do and find something we can do so we can
-
stay in control. It is He who made us capable of
-
serving the New Covenant. This is not about my ability to
-
keep up, but it is His ability to keep me and His word.
-
It doesn't have to make sense if it makes glory.
-
I am tapped in to His ability. Somebody say I am tapped in to
-
His ability. If the Spirit don't help, I am
-
tapping out. If the Spirit does not help me,
-
I am tapping out. It is time for maturity.
-
It is time for preparation. Lord, help us be the bride that
-
you've called us to be. We must renew our minds to carry
-
God's capacity. We must renew our mind to carry
-
His capacity. Your capacity decreases when you
-
don't use what you've been given.
-
I'm not going to read it, but this is where he gave 3 three
-
men different measure of talents or capacity.
-
Two of them use their capacity, one of them buried their
-
capacity. Are you going to go into 2025
-
with a buried capacity? Your capacity decreases when you
-
don't use what you've been given.
-
Your capacity decreases when you don't stretch what you've been
-
given, and your capacity decreases when you don't develop
-
what you've been given. Write it down.
-
Your capacity decreases when you don't use what you've been
-
given, when you don't stretch what you've been given, and when
-
you don't develop what you've been given.
-
Ask any vocalist who sat out of singing for a long time what
-
happens to their vocal cords. Any musician who sits down that
-
instrument for a long time, who comes back, I'm challenging you
-
guys to jump in and for the rest of your life be a follower of
-
Jesus, not just a church attender, not just the bumper
-
sticker. A harvest is coming.
-
A harvest is coming and it is going to flood this street, not
-
just this building, this street. A sound has went out.
-
You are the people. This is the time and God in this
-
house for sure is going to do what he said He is going to do.
-
This is our last Sunday of the year and at least for me, I
-
could say that God, when I look back, yes, it has went fast.
-
But man, in this little garage, you see people out there mopping
-
the concrete right now I'm, I'm telling God's writing a story,
-
right? God's writing a story.
-
You see people out there so we can receive there.
-
There's they're, they're, they're cleaning God's house.
-
They're, they're, they're maintaining it, right?
-
What are we doing? We are preparing for what he
-
promised. We're not looking at man.
-
We man, we ain't going to have church until it stop raining.
-
What? No, we're going to finish
-
strong. God is going to do it.
-
What are you doing with what you have everywhere?
-
Love Quest says. When we have treated it like it
-
was, it was, it was. It was the Pope's house, not in
-
it's God's house. Then come on, I'm not supposed
-
to be wearing no suit up in this garage.
-
Why not? You see our production?
-
That ain't supposed to happen up in here.
-
All you can hear is heels. That's not, that's not supposed
-
to happen. How many people have ever felt
-
the freezing cold in here? That's, that's not, that's not
-
supposed to happen. You hear the heater back there.
-
You see, I'm, I'm serious because it's the end of the
-
year. And I want us to understand
-
we've been in this building for three years, 2 1/2 years waiting
-
for a building permit next door. All these buildings had leaks
-
and rust and animals and all of that stuff.
-
And it may still be some under your seat.
-
I don't know, I'm just playing. What have you ever felt stressed
-
out about? Next door?
-
We going to roll these doors down and they going to tape up a
-
bag at the bottom to try and minimize the amount of water
-
that comes in here. And every Sunday they come in
-
here at 6:00 and they sweep water out, turn on the heater.
-
We rent porta potties and heaters back there.
-
This patio furniture up in here, the little fire lamp with the
-
church hat on top. See, I'm I'm pointing these
-
things out because at the end of the day, this is what waiting on
-
the Lord looks like. Because I'm in a garage, I'm not
-
going to get garage speakers. I'm not going to get garage
-
microphone. No, no, no, no, no, we going to
-
do the best with what we have, right?
-
We don't got room for a camera man in the middle.
-
So what we going to use a stick and some and some and some lace
-
it down and and and we going to put the camera up there.
-
But when you streaming you do you just think it's somebody man
-
in that camera. So five years from now when we
-
get wherever God promised folks going to come to our conferences
-
and they're going to be asking questions.
-
How'd you get here? Are you willing to pay that
-
price? Because you can't.
-
You just ain't no book. This is Holy Spirit LED.
-
This is God said, hey, I found the people a remnant of people.
-
It's not like we giving a remnant seed to go in some big
-
old beautiful theater. No, we going, we moving into
-
another garage, just a bigger garage.
-
But boy, I tell you what, what what's happening in that house
-
because we are 100% building that for the Lord.
-
I'm sorry, I'm just a visionary. So I look around, I know where
-
it started. I'm just like, man, we got mics
-
hanging. We really trying to be really
-
trying to do this. If you only stream, you would
-
think those are really big white speakers and you probably want
-
some in your church, but you don't want those.
-
Those are old school eaters. And yeah, but we're in here and
-
people labor and we do the best we can.
-
Yeah. I've never waited for building
-
permits in my life, ever. But somehow I got a capacity to
-
wait. I've never had to raise this
-
much money in my life. I've never seen this much money
-
in my life, but somehow there's a capacity to keep coming up
-
every single week. Never had it.
-
Never had to counsel and give wisdom sessions and lead as many
-
people, but somehow there's a capacity for every single level
-
we go to. I don't have vision all the
-
time, but somehow God always puts a word in my mouth.
-
I'm I'm, I'm letting you know I didn't, I didn't, I didn't
-
graduate from high school. Hello, some of y'all and you're
-
like, oh, no, you're not smarter than me, OK?
-
You're not smarter than me. You're listening to me today.
-
OK, I didn't graduate from high school, but I went on to junior
-
college. I got my a A degree and then I
-
got BA from Sacramento Theological Seminary and I
-
played high the high school I played college basketball.
-
I played pro base, but like I have experience, but like a
-
formal God didn't call me because I was just like this
-
theologian in the greatest. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
-
And I know my word and I but but man, God needs people up here
-
that that is walking with him not not just giving you what's
-
up here, but getting back to the preachers that take the pulpit,
-
that walk with him and that no presence and that no, the Holy
-
Ghost and hear from God today and not hide behind their
-
education and knowledge of Jesus.
-
Can you tell me what God is doing today?
-
Can you help me with my broken family?
-
Can you tell me where to find the hem of his garment?
-
Can you show me Jesus today? So when I'm talking capacity, I
-
am like here. I didn't have a father in the
-
house that was husbanding my mom.
-
My mom raised me by herself. I didn't have an example of what
-
marriage looked like, let alone a healthy marriage.
-
But then I got in a marriage and God showed me.
-
He gave me and gives me capacity.
-
So now I am not passing on drama from trauma to my son, to my
-
daughter. He gives you capacity for every
-
circumstance, every situation. No matter where you go in life,
-
he is with you, right? So I'm talking to you from
-
experience. I've been in the club, I've been
-
drunk, I've been high, a woman, I've done all of that.
-
I failed many a times. I've started many things and
-
didn't finish them. How am I standing here today
-
leading doctors, lawyers, psychologists, trainers, people
-
with pH DS? How?
-
How is he calling me to lead people who on paper are more
-
intelligent than me? I am a very intelligent man, but
-
the education route you or some of you have taken was not my
-
route. How is he calling me?
-
Because I've accepted his capacity.
-
I haven't made my diploma an idol.
-
I need him more than I need my spouse.
-
I need him more than I need my children.
-
I've made my mind up that I will follow Jesus all the way.
-
God's not trying to take any of those things from you, but he
-
for sure don't want those to be your God.
-
Students, take the pressure off yourself.
-
You are somebody before you enrolled in college, so if you
-
fail the class or don't get an A because your Mama think it's
-
shame in the family, you got to say Oh well Mama, I did my best,
-
but don't you dare let the pressures of a culture pull you
-
down into depression and lose your identity.
-
No, no, no, no, no, no, everybody don't learn the same
-
everybody route ain't the same. Follow Jesus man, as you close
-
this year, close this year. First of all, thinking of the
-
goodness of God. If He has brought you from
-
anything, be thankful. Also close this year with a
-
made-up mind that you will not be the same in 2025.
-
You will not let the same stuff get on your nerves.
-
You will not let the same people get under your skin.
-
My skin don't even come up. Make up in your mind you will
-
not be a source of drama. Make up your mind.
-
In 2025, my walk with Jesus will be so much greater than it was
-
in 2024 and I will not turn back.
-
Can y'all, can y'all Love Quest, help us be this light and this
-
force in this city that is going to see many sons and daughters
-
come home. If you do not have a church
-
home, do not go into the new year without a church home, a
-
place that you call home, that you are committed to at least a
-
year. I used to say give Love Quest
-
one year and then I took it down to six months, and that's one
-
year or six months of you really being faithful and pulling on
-
what God has in His house. I promise you your life will
-
never be the same. Will you have a chance to be
-
offended? 100%.
-
I'm going to offend you at some point.
-
Somebody's going to offend you at some point, but you don't go
-
to church to not be offended. The Gospel Preach rite should
-
offend you. Stand to your feet if you don't
-
have a church home, man, talk to one of our leaders in the back
-
and say, man, I want to give this church a try.
-
Do not be a church hopper in the next year.
-
That is not Bible. God has a home for you and for
-
some of you. Love Quest is it.
-
Welcome home in advance. Hey man, look to your neighbor
-
in front of you and the side of you in the back of you and say
-
how long you going to try out Love Quest?
-
How long you going to try out Love Quest, Troy?
-
Hey man, can we give it up for our first time attendees one
-
more time? Hey, Love Quest, we have dated.
-
This is our last Sunday in 2024. Congrats, Congrats.
-
Our worship team has sang 10,000 songs this year.
-
Just a couple of announcements. New Year's Eve celebration is
-
coming to, is it Tuesday? Tuesday, the Citizens Ball show
-
up. We're going to have red carpet.
-
It's going to be fun. There is a cost like it was last
-
year. It's 35 bucks, but if you buy
-
your tickets today or tomorrow, it's only $25.00.
-
We are going to come in, we're going to have live music.
-
We are going to have a lot of really good food.
-
We're going to take a lot of cool photos.
-
We are going to get a fresh word for 2025 and hear what the Lord
-
is saying. We're going to sing some of our
-
house's favorite songs and then at around 11:15, we're going to
-
head next door into our building that's under construction.
-
And we are going to bring in the new year over there with our
-
apple cider and a little bit of acoustic worship.
-
And we are going to bring in the new year in that building.
-
We're going to pray in that building as a church, and we're
-
going to watch God do some really cool stuff.
-
And so we want you to be a part of it.
-
And then January 5th is Sweat Suit Sunday.
-
Everybody wear a sweat suit. Why?
-
I don't know. It's just going to be
-
comfortable. Amen.
-
It's going to be comfy. All right, Put your hand on your
-
neighbor's shoulders first. Get permission.
-
He takes 60 seconds and pray. Pray for your neighbor really
-
quickly. Hey, look at your neighbor, say
-
I don't hear you. Come on, pray for me.
-
20 more seconds. 5 seconds.
-
Hey man, listen up as we dismiss.
-
I want you to find three people you do not know, or at least you
-
rarely speak to. I want you to go up to them and
-
I want you to say this coming year is going to be one of your
-
greatest years you've ever experienced between you and God,
-
and get ready. You got that?
-
You got that. All right, I'll see you guys on
-
Tuesday. Until next time, you know what
-
it is. Get your love fixed man.
-
Thank you so much for tuning into this week's sermon.
-
We pray you were challenged, equipped and encouraged.
-
Make sure to follow us on all platforms.
-
That's Lovequest Intl church. We out here for real.
-
We're really doing it. That's Facebook, Instagram,
-
YouTube and TikTok. You can find us anywhere you
-
need to find us. But until next time, you know
-
the drill. You know the motto, get your
-
love fixed man and we'll see y'all real soon.
