Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
It's cold time, let's get into it.
-
You can be seated as you're doing now.
-
Look at your neighbors, say lock in because something's about to
-
break out. Yes, no longer.
-
I will live. But Christ in the for I've been
-
born again, my heart. The hope of heaven before me,
-
the great behind. Someone say strategy.
-
Can you turn with me to Second Chronicles 20 really quickly?
-
Somewhere around verse 20, I'm going to give you a few things
-
we didn't release in the previous experience and we just
-
going to see where God takes us. It is very important to know who
-
you are in Christ. It is very important to know
-
your assignments, but it's very hard to know your assignments
-
when you don't know who you are. Every God-given assignment has
-
multiple purposes, but one of the purposes is to reveal him in
-
you. And as he reveals him in you,
-
you are also revealed. It is in Him that I find my true
-
identity. It's not in the book, it's not
-
in culture, it's not in my feelings.
-
It is in the Creator. And we are in an hour of time
-
that God saw fit. We should be living in.
-
And not only should we be living in, we should be serving in.
-
You are not just alive. Your purpose is in this
-
dispensation of time. You weren't just merely born
-
from an amazing family or a jacked up family.
-
But I don't care how amazing you think your family is, there is
-
some jacked upness about it. OK, No one on this earth is
-
exempt from needing Jesus. And as much as man is looking
-
for answers to the simplicity of their their yearnings, the world
-
can't give you anything but counterfeit versions of God's
-
reality for His children. The simplicity of your yearning
-
is this Lovejoy, peace, faithfulness, kindness.
-
Long-suffering self-discipline that in the child of God can
-
only be cultivated by the existing of the Holy Spirit
-
within. You understand there is the real
-
thing that only God can give us, and then there's the world's
-
version of it. Jesus says peace.
-
I leave you not as the world gives you.
-
So with the world, there's work involved to get any number of
-
the things that I just named. Love is God, joy originated in
-
heaven, Peace is the atmosphere of the Kingdom of God.
-
Joy is the response and reaction and the very fiber of sons and
-
daughters. long-suffering is something that we have the
-
ability to do without losing momentum in our life.
-
long-suffering does not mean missing out.
-
In the Kingdom, long-suffering leads to greater capacity.
-
When you're long-suffering for God, you never miss out.
-
But here it is the the church has been given the real thing,
-
and the world has the counterfeit.
-
But the church depends on the world's version of it, and we
-
struggle getting the church, I mean the world, to thirst and
-
hunger for the world, for the church's real version.
-
We have put change your life first, then come the church.
-
We have said change your gender first, then come the church.
-
The world's issue can't be changed by man.
-
It can only be. It can't even be changed by the
-
church. Man's issues can only be changed
-
by God, and it is the change one's job to lead them to the
-
changer. Because there's evidence that it
-
works. It's evidence that his love is
-
greater than the counterfeit. It is evidence that his joy is
-
better than the counterfeit. It is better.
-
The marriage of the believer is better.
-
The family is better. Waiting is better then when we
-
look at the church. Jess is divorce, Jess is
-
depressed, Jess is anxious. Just as fruitless quite frankly.
-
Because God reigns on the just and the unjust and he has placed
-
principles in the world that the non believer and the believer
-
can benefit from. So you think you bless because
-
you work hard and got stuff? No, it's working produces what
-
you work for. And then with a little bit of
-
wisdom, a little bit of luck in the world, you get around the
-
right friends, you get around the right family, you grow up in
-
the right time, you get the right opportunity or you have
-
the right, right amount of courage.
-
You might strike wealth, but is your soul wealthy?
-
Your business may prosper, but is your soul prospering?
-
Everybody in here that think they could do it on their own.
-
I am 100% guarantee you that there is a day you will come
-
running to somebody, some church.
-
You will come running to God, I promise you.
-
And you're going to do the thing backwards instead of listening
-
to the sound of his voice when he's calling.
-
God's going to have to allow you to eat the fruit of your life in
-
order to get He's going to get you back.
-
That's the thing. You got too much prayer out for
-
you. The fact that you're here today
-
lets me know somebody praying for you.
-
So I'm telling you, you're going to suck at sin.
-
You're going to suck at running. I don't care if you take 30
-
years. I don't care if you on your
-
deathbed. I promise you, before you leave
-
this earth, you will say, Lord come into my heart and you will
-
repent and He will receive you. Remember those that have been
-
walking with him for 40 years, those that have been walking
-
with him for 40 minutes, we going to still get the same pay.
-
What is that? Eternal life?
-
That's the good news. So on one hand I'm telling you,
-
take all the time you want to play with your life, miss out,
-
you only get one and I'll see you on the other side.
-
But boy, this is the only opportunity.
-
We get to experience the Dominion power.
-
We get to experience image and likeness.
-
Here no image and likeness is not needed there right?
-
It's. Almost like OK, follow me over.
-
See, I'm not quite sure, but I think I'm pretty accurate.
-
See my kids, this is the only time they get to experience
-
their mom and dad. As mom and dad, when we all get
-
there, my kids will be brothers and sisters.
-
There's some there's there's some, there's some
-
opportunities. You only get the experience God
-
this way here you you only get to look in the mirror here and
-
see you and God and God in you here.
-
You only can be the light of the.
-
World while you're in it. You can only be the salt of the
-
earth while there's bland stuff around you.
-
That needs salt. And I'm telling you right now, I
-
don't care what life you live in if it's not with Jesus, I
-
promise you I'm living way better than you.
-
Guarantee you I'm sleeping better than you.
-
I ain't got no pills. I ain't got no medicinal
-
marijuana, no medicinal gummy bears, no medicinal brownies.
-
I don't have no ecstasy pill. I don't got no lean.
-
I don't got no Oxycontin. I don't got no drinks.
-
I don't got nothing. But I'm telling you, I've drank,
-
I've smoked, I've partied, I've done, I've done all of that.
-
I'm telling you ain't never. That was the.
-
Counterfeit. And that's why you can't put
-
this fire out because you didn't give it to me.
-
See, when I smoke weed, although weed brought me a certain
-
satisfaction, when people looked at me a certain way, I was like,
-
oh, you took my high, it's counterfeit.
-
When somebody could take it, it's the fake thing.
-
Yeah. So I have to smoke again to get
-
high again. But this joy, look at me all you
-
want to, I got that real thing. You can't take it.
-
This is not a high that goes down because God cannot do the
-
first hit. That's why you're addicted to
-
other stuff, because you're chasing the first experience.
-
So eventually you graduate to other drugs.
-
Why? Because this drug no longer gets
-
you high, but with God, He takes you from glory to glory to
-
glory. To glory.
-
This is the good news that I don't need what the world
-
provides for joy. I don't even need the world's
-
economy because the Kingdom of God has its own economy.
-
So I partnered with God financially.
-
So when COVID come, I'm not begging the government to mail
-
me a check because they're not my supplier.
-
And somehow this church brought in more money at the time than
-
it ever had when we weren't gathering like that.
-
Why? Because we're a sewing church.
-
While folks was. Losing their mind trying to get
-
the EI and the AIAIOU and all that stuff.
-
You're depending on the government and the Bible tells
-
you in Second Corinthians. So you have no need.
-
For aid or support, you're not dependent.
-
It doesn't matter who prime. It doesn't matter.
-
It don't matter who's in. Pray for government.
-
Why do I pray for government? Because they're people who God
-
is after. I'm not praying for the
-
administration to prosper. No, no, no, no, whatever.
-
This is not political. This is a Kingdom and we have a
-
Kingdom that Trump's any Kingdom and it's going to be the only
-
Kingdom standing in the end. So I'm not wasting my time
-
trying to better a place that is meant to crumble.
-
Read your Bible. I'm looking around.
-
I'm sorry, son, I got to testify.
-
Can I just testify? You shouldn't be such a cool
-
son. Are we over there worshipping?
-
And he grabbed me and we just. Worship, he said.
-
Look, he said, Dad, thank you taking me across the finish
-
line. He said, listen, listen.
-
He said, look around the church just started with eleven of us.
-
He said, look at it now look at the people.
-
Look, that's my son saying look, and when I look the sounds he
-
they all lost enough and I'm sitting see you got you got to
-
understand prophetic movement. You got to be you got to you got
-
to be able to identify freedom. You know, I've seen you guys and
-
I'm like, there's, there's, you know, Annabeth that hit you with
-
the. And she just bouncing.
-
Now, now, look when you when when we met Annabeth.
-
She was just this. Passive, shy, damn good, like,
-
oh, like Nicole, Danny like, and these people are out here and
-
consumed by freedom. Right.
-
And the testimony starts with them, but it bleeds into their
-
families. Are you right to have your 17
-
year old come up to you and prophecy and say, dad, look, he
-
was just about 8 years old when we moved here and he said he was
-
one of the 11. He was he said it was only 11 of
-
us Pops look and how your son say it started with you dad,
-
like thank you for carrying us to the finish line.
-
Yeah, Matthew, I'll take this, I'll take that, I'll take that.
-
I'll take that up there. That's the whole, that's the
-
fruit. The fruit ain't you going out
-
missing God for some money, you know what I'm saying?
-
My son can can prophecy and we ain't broke.
-
Like what you may think, saying no a few times and following
-
Jesus and starving your flesh a little bit is not prosperous,
-
right? To live in a way that your
-
children can identify the authentic thing in a world where
-
they're being presented the false thing all the time.
-
And some of you adults, it's still falling for the okey doke.
-
I'm like, boy, you chill, handsome self, you can stay,
-
stay, stay pure. Don't give it to no girl.
-
I don't care how much she is after you don't care how fine
-
she is. Boy, you get you walk down that
-
aisle and you give that woman the greatest gift that she God
-
could ever give her. You.
-
You don't let no, you can be a basketball superstar, you can be
-
a virgin. You can know God.
-
You can preach the gospel, you can make disciples and you can
-
have a clothing line and you can still still prosper.
-
Scared to raise our kids in the way they should go because we
-
trying to be their buddies. Not on my clock.
-
If you do something foolish, it ain't going to be because I kind
-
of gave you permission. You gone crazy.
-
Help your kids understand you don't need the title girlfriend.
-
What that mean? That mean ownership that mean
-
right? What's the title?
-
You're not get in my car and be like, oh, that's my girlfriend.
-
Nah, we're going to teach you how to date Kingdom style and
-
you're going to honor her. You're going to honor her father
-
and you're going to honor her mother and you're going to honor
-
her family and you're going to and vice versa.
-
I believe our young people can marry right once early, but you
-
you talking about well, you got to get all your ducks in the
-
rope. You know how long it take to get
-
ducks in the rope? Ducks be moving, man.
-
I'm helping somebody right now because we've been messed up and
-
you like no live your life, try it out, get your money right.
-
OK, now you 30. I understand fixed marriages,
-
but not to the extreme. We got a responsibility to guide
-
our children and guide this generation and show them the
-
way. You don't got to have all your
-
ducks in the row. You don't have to have all your
-
money, your bags. You got to have Jesus.
-
You got to have faith, you got to have some financial stability
-
and then you if God blesses you with your partner early, you
-
guys wait right, you wait well, you obey your parents and watch
-
what God does. If you allow the people in your
-
life to guide you to that altar, it will never be broken.
-
It will never be trashed. You know come on right, all all
-
the stuff you going to experience by 30 then you get
-
you do it right and you get married early man what what
-
y'all got to figure out? You know what I'm saying?
-
The reason why you got a date so long now because you're 35 and
-
you just slept around. You got all kinds of baggage.
-
So you got a lot of stuff to figure out.
-
Not next generate right. We call to do different stuff
-
that's unpopular. It's a peculiar people.
-
Man, I ain't never met so many virgins till we got our worship
-
team. I'm like, what's going on?
-
I get it. I get or or or the virgin.
-
Now if you ain't no virgin, don't don't raise your hand.
-
I ain't never did that. I've been waiting for the Lord
-
to. To no, I can't do it because
-
then if you don't raise your hand, then people are going to
-
be like, ah, you ain't a virgin. So I can't do that.
-
I know who the virgins is, OK. And they all got oil.
-
Full flash full of oil. They ready.
-
Hallelujah. All right, all right, all right.
-
We got a lot of virgins. OK, That's all I'm going to say.
-
We really do. And I think that's God ordained,
-
that's being this worship so good.
-
We got some little pure little babies up here.
-
That's why we say certain stuff they like.
-
I don't know what you talking about Pass AT.
-
Hey, it's a blessing when you grew up, when the choirs sleep
-
with each other, the praise team sleep around each other, and
-
then after church folks go to the club.
-
It's refreshing to be in a house with pure help for your pure
-
hearts. They can do 24 hour prayer
-
because they don't care about going to the club, said Hearken
-
all Judah, you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you came.
-
Jehoshaphat, the Lord says this to you.
-
Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude, this, this
-
lofty task, this call, this mountain in front of you, the
-
things that are not going your way.
-
The battle is not yours. Whoever that for the battle is
-
not yours, but it's God's tomorrow.
-
Somebody say tomorrow, somebody say God has a strategy for
-
tomorrow. Go down to them.
-
Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz and, and I mean
-
for some of you is that like Ziz it or ZZ?
-
How you is how you say that in Canadian is ZZ?
-
Did I say it wrong? Is ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ and
-
you will find them at the end of The Raven.
-
Before the wilderness of Jerry L You shall not need to.
-
Although although this season requires a fighting posture, it
-
does not mean you will have to swing.
-
Am I talking to you, Andrew? Am I talking to somebody right
-
now? Like, like, like God.
-
Want to see this? Don't mean.
-
Oh, God, go ahead. You fight my battles.
-
No, I mean, let's go. I'm, I'm, I'm at attention.
-
You shall not need to fight in this battle.
-
Take your positions, stand still and see the glory or the
-
deliverance of the Lord who is with you.
-
Love quests. Fear not nor be dismayed.
-
Tomorrow, somebody say tomorrow go out against him.
-
You got to listen to instructions, he said.
-
You're not going to need to fight, but you got to show up to
-
the fight. So it's awesome you let you cast
-
your cares at the altar. Now, now, now, get up and still
-
show up to the fight, for the Lord is with you.
-
Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground.
-
And all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell
-
down before the Lord. What was they doing?
-
Worship. It sounds like the fear of God.
-
Some Levites of the Kohathites Korah Heights stood up to praise
-
the Lord. God of Israel, is that just
-
another place that just says loud, a very loud voice?
-
And they rose early in the morning and went out into the
-
wilderness of Toccoa. And as they went out,
-
Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear.
-
Me, PT said. Hear me, you inhabitants of
-
Surrey and British Columbia, you shall.
-
I love this EJ, he said. Rest from fighting, and when you
-
rest from fighting, you'll be established.
-
You can labor hard as you want to and get a counterfeit rest,
-
or you can labor to get into the rest of God and be truly
-
established for generations to come.
-
Believe and remain steadfast to His prophets, and you shall what
-
prosper. That's important because we do
-
not have a generation that hears the Word and takes heed.
-
To the men and women of God, that God puts his word in their
-
mouths and take it for what it really is when he had to consult
-
with the people he appoint. He had to appoint singers to
-
sing to the Lord and praise Him in their holy priestly garments
-
as they went out before the army saying give thanks to the Lord,
-
right? This wasn't no somber stuff,
-
right? Here is what the Lord please
-
take wretched me. I'm undeserving.
-
I'm a rag. Filthy rag.
-
No, he said. Go out and give thanks for his
-
mercy and loving kindness. Endure forever.
-
And when they begin to what? Sing, not swing?
-
And to what? I love that we're a House of
-
praise, not a House of somber. The anointing on our house
-
speaks to the assignment the House has.
-
So while other people are sitting face down Gideon all the
-
time, just wanting to sing in like slow music, just slow
-
music, just strings and laughing and ha ha ha and and goosebumps.
-
And and while you're doing that, there's a people in the city.
-
That is warring for you because you got your head down.
-
You're not a warrior, you just want to be.
-
Held by God, not necessarily fight with God.
-
And there's a time and place. We did it yesterday.
-
If you were here you would have seen we we know how to be face
-
down. There's a time and place for it.
-
And it says the Lord said ambushment against the men who
-
did. And if you keep reading for the
-
for the sake of time, I'm not going to keep reading.
-
They turned on themselves. Somebody say turn on yourself.
-
The enemy that was pursuing them turned on himself because the
-
praise confused the enemy. When they should have been
-
scared, they had a praise. When they should have been
-
quitting, they had a praise. When they should have been
-
making excuses they had a praise.
-
When they should have been procrastinating they had a
-
praise. When they should have been
-
fearful, they had a praise. And understand praise is a
-
weapon. Oh why y'all be praising so
-
much? Because we fight so much for
-
you. That's what we're called to do
-
in this city because when's the last time a praising church
-
showed up in the middle of wall-e and said let's go.
-
When's the last time before Love Quest showed up?
-
You came down here and walked around this community and took
-
it back from Pharmakeia. Oh, there's a scripture you
-
could read in your own time. Matthew 18, three.
-
Now you can put it up. I think I got a little bit.
-
I got a little time. I got one more scripture and I'm
-
going to give it to you. I'm not going to get to these
-
notes. I pray.
-
Can you? Was it when was the night I did
-
Turning Point? Noel, did we record Wednesday
-
and Thursday? Can we post that this week?
-
Can you give it to Troy or whoever?
-
And if they can edit just the sermon and can we get that too
-
on Spotify? It it'll be available for you
-
within the next 48 hours. It was a word released and you
-
got to go get it. OK as well listened to this
-
morning. I'm I'm just going off a script
-
right now and so I will not get to those slides.
-
OK, not yet. I need that, he said.
-
Truly, I say to you, unless you repent, change, turn about and
-
become like little children, I wish my kids would come to me
-
like this. Dad, what we eating for dinner?
-
Dad, can you can I get some? Just just a couple more
-
meatballs please. With my spaghetti please.
-
Dad, can you make me a smoothie? I need a smoothie.
-
Dad, can you take me to basketball practice, please?
-
Can you tell? I know.
-
I know you're busy. I know you work so hard and I'm
-
undeserving, but I need a right to practice.
-
Thank you so much. You're so good to me.
-
You're so good. But how do kids come to their
-
parents? I mean they like.
-
Stiffing a What were we eating tonight?
-
Right? Unless you just a horrible
-
parent, the kids don't have no worries.
-
They're just like they ask stupid questions just for no
-
reason. They're not thinking and like,
-
are we? Are we going to eat tonight?
-
But have you never not eaten right?
-
Kids can just walk up in the crawl up in the bed and just lay
-
down and just and just think that stay bad, right?
-
Think of the faith of kids. They walk in stores and walk out
-
with stuff that we did not ring up No, in their mind, I don't
-
think they're stealing. I think they're just like my mom
-
gonna pay for it, but I didn't even see you grab it.
-
That's not stealing. That's faith.
-
They like substance of things hoped for and the evidence of
-
things not seen. I'm.
-
But but look what he says. Here's what you changed into
-
repent and become like a child. So how long you going to live in
-
your trauma? How long you going to have a
-
hard heart? This, this.
-
It'd be weird. It's kind of weird sometimes I
-
think about it. You spank your kids or you'd be
-
like you, you'll yell at them. I know some of y'all don't.
-
That's OK, You yell. I can't spank my kids now these
-
days. I threatened a lot though.
-
I threaten a lot these days. I do.
-
I do even Mike. I'm like Dang bro, I got to
-
punch you. You like big.
-
And he's strong too, like Micah got.
-
I think Micah got some moves he'd be working on by his self.
-
But but, but that, what was I saying?
-
Punch Michael. No.
-
You just like fighting. That's what your problem is,
-
huh? Yeah.
-
Yeah, yeah. Come, bully.
-
No, I was saying something else. Maybe I was thinking that.
-
I didn't release it yet. Huh, huh, huh.
-
How long you going to stay in that trauma?
-
Yeah, I I still forgot. Whatever.
-
Thank you. And so I'm like.
-
We, we, we are too. So, so in all of our
-
transformation, there's a dependency, childlike dependency
-
that we should end up as a child.
-
My, my, my, my son can't wait to get to church.
-
He'll go before us. And he there's pictures video of
-
him little unloading EU Haul. When we say our kids planted the
-
church, they planted the church, but there's no like how long we
-
going to be serving that? There's no planning center or to
-
deny a Sunday as children. They just have bought into their
-
parents rhythm for their life. And if they don't like where
-
they go and all they care about is having some snacks and these
-
days of foam, he says. So when I'm looking around the
-
room and I'm seeing God. 'S children just like, like man
-
you, I don't know how you look at the room, but when you see
-
like kids play, that's how God's kids play.
-
They praise, they dance around. When you see these pictures of
-
angels, they're crazing around the throne and in the North
-
American church. I know Kenny don't want to
-
relate to anything with the word American in it, but sorry,
-
you're part of North America and the way we do church, You're
-
soft. Some believers in other parts of
-
the world would call you fake. Any amount of pressure.
-
We run. We don't know how to pray.
-
Our prayer meetings are an arrested they're then they're
-
they're they're they're they're they're unhealthy.
-
They're there are prayer meetings.
-
There's no interest. But on Sunday we fill the seats
-
five days, maybe 6. The world gets it.
-
They get all of you, they get your time.
-
You up late at night, write notes for your meetings and
-
planning and then when they come to church, it's like all right,
-
start around that 2 hour time because.
-
You got a little bit of capacity if you come to local around that
-
2 hour time you start want to get tea in the back and water
-
and stretching your legs. Some of y'all don't ever make it
-
back to your seat. I can tell us a few of you guys
-
do it all the time. You disengage after a certain
-
amount of time or when a certain message get real tense.
-
Start walking around getting uncomfortable.
-
The capacity of today's church. There's parts of this world they
-
are walking hours and they will be mad if a preacher preaches
-
any less than two hours. I didn't walk 4 hours to get a
-
30 minute message. You crazy?
-
Here we got you don't even got nothing to do.
-
You don't cook like that. Where I came from, we cook like
-
that. I think Deborah one of them
-
people that cook like that like beans probably on right now at
-
the house, right We smothering chicken.
-
We like we and we cooking for like a whole House of people who
-
are eating between services to go back to night service.
-
Where have we? Where did you get your
-
Christianity from? Who trained us?
-
It's not the Holy Ghost capacity.
-
And then we're stubborn because we get to pick and choose
-
whatever church, forget the one God called us to.
-
Which one is closest to my house?
-
Which one actually has a service at the time that I can go?
-
Which one has the best worship? Which one teaches in a way that
-
I best understand because God made me to understand like this.
-
When I go to that other church, he's like over here sometime and
-
he's like over here sometimes kind of sound like the Holy
-
Spirit, kind of sound like you're not the only one that God
-
wants to talk to. So there's someone over here
-
who's pulling on the anointing, and then there's a way that we
-
God did me like somebody else is over here.
-
I think one of the greatest gifts of a great communicator is
-
that they can reach as many people in the room.
-
Now, I can get 100% of you to understand a miss message in
-
simplicity, but it doesn't mean I helped most of you.
-
I'm not here to make sure everybody understand everything
-
I say. That's between you and the Holy
-
Ghost, Bereans. Go study the word, take notes,
-
go listen to the message and squeeze and pull out the word.
-
And that's the Holy Ghost. What does this word mean for my
-
life But boy? You get a bunch of Christians
-
come, don't take notes, they just look at you like
-
interesting. Let me write that down and go
-
ask my other pastor friend if this is theologically sound.
-
My YouTube pastor doesn't is not saying that's what God's doing
-
today. What are we doing?
-
I'm here to let you guys know that we don't do worship for
-
you. Worship time is actually God's
-
children worshipping Him, not singing your favorite song or
-
gospel or CCM or black music or white music or whatever that
-
stupidity is. You don't go.
-
To church for a genre of music. I have somebody that was shocked
-
at a couple who goes to our church.
-
They don't look like they should go here, I guess.
-
And and it was the man that that is not a part of the Christian
-
faith who said to them, you go to that.
-
Church. The black church.
-
So our whole church is black because I'm black?
-
That's wild. A lot of us probably would have
-
thought the little moment of praise there was charismatic and
-
Pentecostal. No, it was just joy.
-
It's just freedom is what freedom looks like.
-
And if if freedom looks like black, then first of all thank
-
you. But but at the same time, I'm
-
like, I'm like, why would you want to hand freedom to one
-
group of people? I'm here to tell you, this
-
brother is telling you that this joy that I have, you can have it
-
as well. It's a choice.
-
It's a choice. I'll close with this Hebrews 11
-
and 29 and I saw this, and I pray it blesses you.
-
Hebrews 11/29 I just saw the. Scripture in a.
-
Different way. We've all heard of the story of
-
the Red Sea. Yeah.
-
If not, I mean, come on. Like, there's cartoons, there's
-
there's 10 commandments. Like, if you ain't like right,
-
there's every, like you at least have heard of the Red Sea.
-
OK. I want you to see something that
-
I did not see. Urged on by faith, say by faith,
-
say, urged on. The people crossed the Red Sea
-
as though on dry land. I want you to hear this in
-
reality. It was dry for God's children.
-
It was not dry for the enemy to go across, and because what it
-
was for you, the arrogance of the enemy thought he had the
-
same access. But when the Egyptians tried to
-
do the same thing, they were swallowed up by the sea.
-
Now, not to throw a damper in there, but I had an uncle on my
-
dad's side who was set up. By female and he was murdered in
-
my young age and. It was a young.
-
Lady he was dating and she called him to the house and said
-
come over and and his fate was there.
-
He showed up and her president, boyfriend or whatever murdered
-
him and it was this like setup. It was this, this, this.
-
He thought he was going for one reason to and then to find out
-
he would be swallowed up by death.
-
Now this isn't a somber thing, but but it's it's somber for the
-
Egyptians because we see this story about the Red Sea being
-
for us. And I have now seen that the Red
-
Sea was God's strategy to swallow up the enemy more than
-
it was about getting us across. OK, because in Egypt I still had
-
freedom. Sometimes God will take you
-
peculiar routes because there's an enemy pursuing you, and the
-
route he's called you to take is really not about you.
-
That's why you're frustrated with the route.
-
But there's an enemy on your tail that he is seducing to come
-
away, and God is setting him up because there is some enemies in
-
your life in 2025 that are about to be swallowed up.
-
Somebody shout out, swallowed up that sea wasn't merely in the.
-
Children of Israel's way it was opened up, or a foolish devil
-
who was about to try and touch God's anointed, and God is
-
trying to show you what he will do to get you out.
-
But if God. Goes through all these measures
-
to get you out. Understand he is also on the
-
back end putting a end to what has been tormenting your life.
-
Here it is. But are you willing and I can go
-
through so many scriptures. Are you willing to do the
-
abnormal to experience a lifestyle of supernatural once?
-
You walk across a dry sea. There is no denying that God is
-
God and I believe this is what God wants to do in our lives is
-
something so supernatural, but he's looking for some Moses that
-
are willing stick their rod out and lead the people across.
-
He's looking for some Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and as much
-
as it doesn't make sense go on the fiery furnace so he can put
-
it because it's about his glory. He's looking for a Mary to say.
-
I know it don't make sense but I needed to.
-
Find a virgin because I need to. Birth a savior and you are the
-
perfect candidate. You've been serving me.
-
I need your womb because I hear it is.
-
I need your womb to get something in the earth for the
-
world. I don't see too many normal ways
-
God answers. Here it is.
-
I'm not talking about day-to-day answers.
-
If you truly want to see your your city know Jesus.
-
There's no normal way to get them to know Jesus.
-
I've got this in my spirit a few years back.
-
God if you don't do something supernatural, your these
-
children, these people will be lost because coming up here
-
preaching every week, I promise you it's anointed.
-
But why is it more people responding to the word?
-
God has to do something. Signs and wonders is to bring
-
color back in the picture. It's not for the believer to
-
just sit around and just be hyper spiritual and always want
-
to see legs growing in gold dust.
-
And, and a lot of times we want revival to to, to so heaven can
-
tickle us. We not really want revival to
-
change our city and so love quest.
-
It's been in my spirit, it's on my heart.
-
We going to do something different.
-
I as your leader will not continue to let us be too
-
familiar with God. We stroll in late, the church
-
come for prayer, we get like 15 people, same people.
-
And I'm telling you, this is 7 years here and this is going to
-
other churches. It's a pattern.
-
But there's parts of the world, folks show up hours early to
-
church and they're all in there praying before the worship team
-
come out. Like the people here take an
-
initiative to get the atmosphere ready and by the time the
-
worship team come out, they ain't got nothing.
-
For what? So we come like we're going to a
-
production, a movie, and then you wait for the worst routine
-
to come out and then Elder John or somebody got to pray.
-
Come on, isn't God good? Come on, clap your hands.
-
All right, Hold on, Judy. Hold on, Judy.
-
Has God done any like we got to do that?
-
Over and over. Is there like anybody aside from
-
leaders that will come in early enough and you lead the way and
-
come in here and be on your knees and come in here and lift
-
your hands and come in here and spark a fire and God's like I am
-
just looking for. People that's willing to do the
-
abnormal because I have a strategy for revival.
-
Thank you God, but we got to let the soil rest.
-
One thing when God says let the soil rest, he is saying that you
-
guys have sown. You're a sewing church and we
-
pursue God, We pursue them here, we pursue them back there, we
-
pursue God. So the issue is not that, but
-
what we will not do is we will not let people make this into
-
some North American punked out church where you just kind of
-
throw fits when it's too long or when if you don't like
-
something, you go to another church.
-
Good go. But if there's a people here
-
that are willing to be tried by the fire and be hungry and
-
thirsty and pursue Jesus for generations to come, and for
-
your city and for your region and for your nation, and you're
-
willing to. To sometimes look silly for the
-
glory of God when I read these stories.
-
Hey. Hey, Ezekiel, You think these
-
bones can live? Bro, I ain't never looked at no
-
chicken that I just demolished and looked at them bones and
-
like, man, you think some meat going to hop back on them bones?
-
No, once I get yeah, I'm done. Can you imagine God lead you out
-
into a valley a dry bones. This wasn't even Lazarus with
-
just stinking body dead. He's no meat dead.
-
He like you think them can live and I love his answer.
-
He like you know, and then God said, because you put your faith
-
in me and you know, I know I'm. Going to put my words of knowing
-
on your tongue. His brother speaks to these
-
bones and prophecy. And then there was he.
-
He told him to speak to him first any toll that came
-
together and then he he said now now prophesied that the wind
-
comes. Bury famine, go sow in that
-
land. I know it don't make sense, it's
-
famine. But in the same year in the same
-
land, you're going to receive 1000 times back.
-
Come on, 2 fish, 5 loaves. I know it's 10,000 plus people
-
that need to get fed and we only got 2 fish, 5 loaves.
-
Just put it in my hands. Just put it in my hands.
-
Put your plans in my hands and we could just shout out all
-
these Elijah calls down rain. Abraham, go kill your son.
-
No, no, no, no, no, no. I got a sacrifice.
-
I just want to see if you was willing.
-
I was just trying to find somebody in the earth that that
-
is agile and that is not afraid of people, but more fear God
-
than they do man. And somebody that I can set up
-
generations for, that I can get some things through the earth
-
that is free unto me. We can go on and on and on and
-
on. Jesus, Hey, go, go, go ask your
-
son if he can revitalize this water and turn it into wine.
-
Strategy. Hey, get me some buckets.
-
Like there's all nothing but strategy.
-
There's just nothing but weird stuff.
-
Unpopular stuff. When was the last time you seen
-
a church? And I know they're out there.
-
How many, you know that do unpopular stuff?
-
Everything's programmed to be convenient for the family and
-
for you to check in, check out, and is administratively perfect.
-
And it's all these things and there's a place for all that.
-
But we have let it take the place of presence.
-
When's the last time we paid that much attention to detail?
-
See, I'm pursuing God and He's given me some details about His
-
presence and there might be somebody administratively better
-
than me, but where I'm at I am going to always put presents
-
1st. And I think that's why he picked
-
people who wasn't the smartest, but they were intelligent and
-
they were willing to follow Jesus.
-
What a strategy I'm. Going to go get these fishermen
-
to get the gospel to the rest of the world.
-
I'm going to go get this murderer who murdered Christians
-
and I'm going to get him to write letters to the church
-
about love. Somebody who hated Christians.
-
I want his pen to tell the church how how to love.
-
Can you please find me something normal in the Bible, please?
-
And then we trying to normalize Jesus and we have we have
-
normalized his presence out. So what Love Quest is going to
-
do is next Sunday, next weekend will be our first, our last full
-
weekend for about 3 weeks. I think it's three weeks.
-
So next Saturday we have our pop up shop and that finance, those
-
finances are going fully to our remnant project.
-
We got some fine clothes. It's going to be set up next
-
door. Team is working hard.
-
We'll have music in there. We'll have food truck here.
-
Please come out and support. It's going to be some nice
-
clothes. And I'm telling you, look, if
-
you buy some of my clothes, just come ask me how to rock it.
-
Because if I see you wearing it all jacked up, I might, I might
-
buy it back from you because Amen.
-
Please, please don't. I don't want to look at you and
-
be like, no, don't come talking to me, bro.
-
You got my pants all you can't even fit them pants.
-
What are you doing? So that's Saturday and then the
-
next day we have we'll have our two morning experiences.
-
Believe, invite, pack it out so that people can encounter the
-
joy, the Lord, the life of the bride, and then we'll have our
-
pop up shop in between both experiences.
-
Then in the evening we're calling all creatives.
-
God has pressed on my heart that in this year I need to really
-
focus on gathering the creatives.
-
There's a revival, there's a fresh win for Kingdom Art and
-
it's artists. Artists is a prophetic weapon
-
and voice for the Kingdom of God and it's why during COVID who
-
suffered the most? I get it, it was a lot of
-
suffering but just speaking culture, the arts suffered big
-
time right? The enemy muzzled muzzled the
-
mouth as much as he could. OK, all you creatives in here,
-
it is not God's plan that you take your gifts to the world and
-
let them pervert it. I apologize that the church has
-
not created a space for creatives that does not just use
-
you for Sunday or want to turn you into a worship leader or
-
make you be Jesus or merry on Christmas or Easter.
-
Like there's more for your gift than that.
-
We are a church that's called to the marketplace and we will have
-
production company that the world will come and try and get
-
jobs. We will have music a record
-
late. We will have all of that.
-
At a very high capacity. And so next Sunday night it will
-
play as the after party of the pop up shop.
-
We'll meet in here. We're we're flipping the room.
-
It's going to be lounge like it's going to be dope and we
-
have some super creative fun stuff.
-
And then we're bringing Tommy Zuko from Cali out here.
-
And if you've ever seen heard his music or seen him before
-
perform live, he that that brother got all all kind of
-
sauce. That brother is too cool and
-
he's fired. They'll put the flyer up in the
-
mid. That's not Tommy Zuko, guys,
-
That's I don't know who she is. There you go.
-
You see Tom, Hey, he's saved too.
-
He's saved too. So don't be acting like because
-
he wearing shades and got got swag, he ain't saved right.
-
We taking all that back for our creatives like keep your swag,
-
keep your drip, keep keep your fine, keep your handsome.
-
God made you that way. Bible said David was a handsome
-
one. Come on, somebody just say I'm
-
handsome. Not me, but you, right?
-
You know what I'm saying. What you and he's married to Mel
-
elder Roseanne want to make sure you ladies knew he was married,
-
OK? Amen.
-
Hallelujah. A part of the reason he's coming
-
out here is because also he and I made I think we got 1.
-
So so so listen y'all, I've been cooking.
-
I got a book coming out. I'm going to have to push the
-
day back, but I also have a album coming out.
-
So a lot of y'all and never seen me like like really get out and
-
I'm telling you, I'm Pastor T but but like like show me your
-
favorite rapper and I promise you I'll go toe to toe with your
-
favorite rapper. OK, All right, I'll write some
-
good. I really good songs, OK, right.
-
And that's why the kings, the three kings been asking me to
-
come up and do stuff and I'm like, no, because I'm just when
-
I come out, I'm I'm about to smack you over the head.
-
I'm telling you right, I'm telling you.
-
So I know it's time because as God releases me, I understand my
-
gift is because he's ready to activate a generation and and
-
man, I think we got one. Like I think yesterday I
-
recorded my 29th song and and I'm all 29 is firing man.
-
Can we make some noise for Adam Stanton?
-
And thank you, Sir. Thank you, Sir.
-
All right, all right, all right, sit down because I still got
-
some more. He's he's he's one of the best
-
engineers in the city and probably the province and he's
-
he's like top notch and he is the husband of Carolyn, who was
-
a day Warner and their beautiful family.
-
Thank you, thank you, thank you. And he and I have some really,
-
really dope chemistry and it's really good is to be like a
-
third album or so. He and I worked on this to be
-
like my 13th album that I've ever put out.
-
I have put out a lot of albums before there was Instagram.
-
So don't age me, but look, it's good.
-
But but Tommy's coming here so we can shoot a music video for
-
one of our songs. And I promise you it's like
-
it's, it's, it's a it's so good. And we're going to shoot a video
-
at the hub and we're calling people out because we need to
-
turn the hub into a club. And we want to get at least 80
-
people in there. We'll do 100, but we want to at
-
least get 80. Now, look, this is not a yoga
-
pants night. Like you got it.
-
You got to do elevated urban. You got to, this is the only
-
analogy I can get. You got to come out like you
-
going to, all right. Let me, let me just let me, let
-
me just say this, OK? Stop shaking your head, babe.
-
No, OK, because I'm not about to say nothing bad.
-
Have you have you guys ever heard of the song Past the
-
Courvoisier by Busta Rhymes or whatever?
-
OK, it's the secular song. Whatever.
-
So what? Don't judge me.
-
I don't really care. You look at worse stuff than
-
that, right. Anyway, but but it's like
-
elevated. It's like, you know how when
-
they do these music videos and and there's like they're like
-
dressed up and it's fun. They're out there elegant.
-
It's it's fun. That's the kind of party is
-
going to be like, but but it's from that era, like the what
-
year was that 90s like 2002 thousands like like you can find
-
me that a that that time right there.
-
So big glasses and big hair and like fun and we going to shoot a
-
music video. That's going to be dope.
-
And guess what that's going to do?
-
We going to get out there to the world and they're going to be
-
like, wow, these people look good and they have so much joy.
-
It's a church, yeah. The lyrics are wholesome.
-
Where they at? Canada is the pastor.
-
Where they at? Vancouver, Canada right now is
-
waiting I guess a wide open spot for us y'all.
-
So we'll give you some info next week, but we looking for some
-
folks to help us pack the place out and it's going to be dope.
-
That's going to be for next Saturday night.
-
After that weekend, there will be no Saturdays, no Sundays.
-
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, we're going to
-
be right here. And what it's going to look
-
like. It's going to look like prayer
-
and worship like you did before the week of revival.
-
OK, Don't come in. We're going to pray.
-
Why? God promised that there will be
-
a revival of prayer in this house.
-
And so we're getting rid of the idol of Sunday.
-
Are we going to see who really love church?
-
Who really, or let me put it this way, is going to obey the
-
word when it says don't forsake the gathering of the Saints?
-
And then are you going to be like the people who made
-
excuses? I got a job, I got a new
-
property, I got a house, I got to work.
-
I'm too far. Are you going to be one of them
-
people? Are you going to start moving
-
stuff around like you move stuff around for other stuff?
-
I'm sorry. But the gathering of the Saints
-
and God's church is a part of loving Jesus.
-
So stop trying to separate the two.
-
And be like, God knows my heart. He knows you don't want to obey
-
his word. You want to pick and choose what
-
you want to obey. And as I said, if you want to
-
use those Sundays to go to another church, if you're
-
looking for another church, if you feel God's taking you out of
-
this church, man, it's the perfect time to do that.
-
But for those that really say God's called me here from 9:00
-
AM to 10:00 AM in your private space, you are going to worship.
-
You're going to read a scripture or two or study some of the Word
-
in the house, and you're going to pray, and you're going to
-
know from 9:00 to 10:00 your church is doing the same thing
-
wherever they are on Sunday. So not next Sunday, but the
-
three Sundays following. That's what we're doing.
-
I pushed out. I canceled traveling.
-
Zuko was supposed to come. We were supposed to go there.
-
I pushed our anniversary celebration into March because
-
it's all belongs to him. You can't tell me.
-
That if this is your church. Home you can't at least come
-
twice a week out of five. That's what we doing.
-
And if I don't see you, I'll see you when we get back to Sundays.
-
But just remember and examine your heart.
-
Why have you only given God one day, 2 hours, 3 hours?
-
And then when you go to work every day, when you up at night
-
worried about promotions, school, whatever, I believe God
-
has given us something. And he said, son, will you trust
-
me? Will you do something abnormal?
-
I know your biggest attendance in church is Sundays, but I'm
-
your biggest supporter. I know most people just give on
-
Sundays, but I'm your supplier, I'm your provider.
-
Will you trust me? And so I say yes, Dad, yes,
-
Father, I'm going to trust you from 9:00 to 10:00.
-
I'm going to be right in my secret place being unified by
-
the Spirit with those that feel called and know they're called
-
to this church and go take this time serious.
-
Some will be fasting during that time, but we are not calling a
-
fast as a church. We encourage you to, but God
-
also said you need to fast beyond when the church calls a
-
fast. You need to worship.
-
Beyond when the church tells you to lift your hands, then our
-
teams will be meeting once out of those three weeks just to get
-
together, pray, search their hearts as a ministry and come
-
back different, come back burning.
-
We will not go next door into this building the same.
-
We are being trusted with something very holy and very
-
precious, and we have a responsibility to carry it to
-
the next generation. And I do believe that.
-
I have a few people in this house that says, pastor, we got
-
your back, your front, and we are with you.
-
Yeah, those, those, those as we close this fast, this is not to
-
separate or divide, but I do want to pray for those that do
-
feel they want to take the gospel serious and they want to
-
take the vision and mission of their church serious.
-
I'm going to have Elder John come up.
-
I'm going to have my wife come up and I'll have you guys pray
-
as a closing prayer specifically over those that says, man, I
-
want to see different as well. I can admit I've contributed to
-
the lukewarmness of the church, but I do believe that God has
-
sent us some people. That's like, let's carry the
-
urgency. Let's advance the body of Christ
-
through the strength he gives us and they know anything he gives
-
us and then we'll close. But the days of begging people
-
to give, begging people to serve, begging people to stay.
-
Fear of man is is dead cannot have fear of God and the fear of
-
man. They do not go inside and this
-
joy that we have here. I believe that God is he's just,
-
he's just getting our roots very deep.
-
I think there's something he's doing in this place and in this
-
city that no government, no, no demon could ever destroy.
-
May the work in this church be an offering to our King.
-
And when he returns, may he find us in faith.
-
May he find our children in faith.
-
How far are we entering this moment?
-
Because 24 hours fasting and praying, Love quest.
-
Let me tell you something. Not every church, not every
-
Christian is setting aside 21 days and ending it with 24
-
hours. There's a true hunger in this
-
church for more. And it's not more stuff.
-
It's not. Hurry up and get us in the
-
building. I see you guys dancing and I
-
see, I know the testimonies. It doesn't mean that everyone
-
serves the same hours and as many hours, but it's not just
-
about these four walls. We actually need everybody to do
-
the work inside and outside. So I want to say as we close
-
this time, it's 24 hours. Thank you for those that
-
couldn't even make it, but you were praying for us and you were
-
praying with us. I understand life, I understand
-
work, I understand family. But I'm telling you these
-
things. I'm speaking to the excuses, not
-
the reality of your situations. I want to make sure you purify
-
and sift through what's an excuse?
-
Where can I make more room for God and His church not being
-
insensitive to daily life. Things happen.
-
You got to go out of town. I have kids, I get it.
-
But there are some sacrifices my my wife and I like.
-
My wife is about to fly out with my boys in a few hours to go be
-
in Calgary. And I got to be here because I'm
-
called here and I miss my wife and I miss my children.
-
And in this time, our family is separated, our daughters in
-
Arizona, my wife and two sons are in Calgary.
-
And I'm here because I have an assignment like I'm walking this
-
thing with y'all. But why we have peace in our
-
family is because we know that to obey God is way better than
-
sacrifice. So when you wonder why there's
-
the anointing and you wonder why our marriage is what it is, you
-
wonder why our kids make pride and paying the cost.
-
That's not a brag. I'm just being real with you.
-
It hurts sometimes. I want to hop on that plane.
-
I was joking What I said. Babe, I don't want you to go.
-
I really don't want her to go, but she has to.
-
And she really don't want me to stay.
-
But I have to. And why?
-
Because as much as I'm called to them, I'm called to you.
-
And that's why I can't play with you, especially if you don't
-
understand what it costs for us to be here, for you to have
-
leaders who say God, whatever you need, found some.
-
I want you to understand it's our call.
-
And I understand it's not everybody's call, but pay the
-
price for what your call costs. And I'm forever grateful for the
-
ones that hold our family down. That's not separation, but those
-
that really pray for us. Stand in the gap, make it easy
-
to lead. Thank you for holding us up and
-
not pulling us down. And as we end this fast, thank
-
you for those that helped carry the rate, the weight and the
-
burden of the vision and mission.
-
Elder John, after Julia, come on over here.
-
