Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it.
-
What the enemy has meant for evil God, you have used it for
-
good from generation to generation.
-
And we say thank you this morning.
-
We ask Holy Spirit that you would empower us, You.
-
You would reveal the Savior to us.
-
You will convict us. You will transform us by the
-
renewing of our minds so that what you have given us we can
-
pass to the next generation, so their testimony can be from
-
generation to generation. Yes, God, you are faithful, but
-
we are here because of some faithful Saints, and we say
-
thank you, Lord. May every person in this room
-
determine in their mind that they will be a person, a St., a
-
believer, a Christian, a follower of Christ.
-
That will not pass on fear from generation to generation, not
-
pass on doubt from generation to generation, insecurity from
-
generation to generation, double mindedness from generation to
-
generation, insecurity, sabotage, comparison from
-
generation to generation. But we will be a people that
-
pass on faith and hope and love. But I know you are God that from
-
generation to generation you've only needed a few.
-
And I want to say Lord, I'm, I'm wanted a few.
-
Send me for real though, I'll go and may may there be a few more
-
people by the end of the day that says God.
-
I mean it this time I am going to not just March for you, shout
-
for you, but I'm going to March with you.
-
I'm going to shout with you. And I'm not just going to merely
-
be a Christian and stop at the door of religion, but I'm going
-
to enter into the door of the Kingdom where resurrection power
-
lives. And I am going to be a follower
-
of Christ, not a follower of religion, a follower of Jesus
-
Christ. We pray for the spirit of
-
revelation in this place today. And whatever we miss by notes,
-
Lord, may we catch by spirit. Come on, say I got to catch it
-
today. Come on, say my stupid days are
-
over and my anointed days have arrived.
-
Come on, say my ears are anointed, my heart is anointed,
-
my tongue is anointed. Look at your neighbors.
-
Say watch out. May be seated anointed,
-
disruptive and prospering. That's me, that's me.
-
I'm going to be selfish. I'm anointed, and because I'm
-
anointed I'm disruptive in Jesus name and I'm forever prospering,
-
not according to prosperity preaching, but according to the
-
word of God. Yeah, and every season I am
-
prospering not because I'm just declaring it, it's because God
-
says so. Don't box with me, box with God.
-
And I'm here to announce that the holy fire of God has
-
arrived. You ready?
-
And that means church. Whoever considers themselves a
-
Christian stop playing around being a being A2 faced dead
-
hypocrite. Just go to church Christian them
-
days is over. I promise you the fire that has.
-
Come to try is going to sizzle out all your little carnal
-
living and God judgement starts in the House of God.
-
The world is already. Judged.
-
Look at them. You remember you was in the
-
world. I know nobody here is of the
-
world. Nobody.
-
Right. Everyone of you are so holy.
-
I am. See, that was your moment to say
-
I am you, right, Pastor? You finally said something,
-
right? Yeah.
-
No, no, no, no. Being separated from God is all
-
the judgement you need. How was that living?
-
But now, as believers, judgement hits the house first.
-
That's why we did something astronomical in my mind.
-
We just cut out Sundays. For a month?
-
Who does that right, 'cause that's our biggest giving day
-
and that's when you get to most attendees and all this kind of
-
crap. But what I understand is our
-
salvation is not in Sunday, it's in Jesus that part.
-
And that's why you're going to see us spontaneously here and
-
there have church in the wild. What does that mean?
-
Like on the 21st through the 23rd, 23rd being Sunday, we are
-
going to go to the basketball championships and the and the
-
tournament is. Called the Devil's Cup and we're
-
paying. We're playing for cash.
-
It's a cash prize if the tournament.
-
Starts Friday night, we're going to pack it out.
-
It goes on this Saturday, two games we're going to pack it out
-
and then and then we go, we're going to show up Sunday, no
-
church. We're going to go to Applesford
-
and we're going to pack it out Sunday morning for game one.
-
We win game one, we go to game two, we lose game one, we go
-
home and we win game two. We're in the championship and
-
what they going to experience the joy, the Lord.
-
You hear what I'm saying? Church in the Wild, OK.
-
And then in June we're going to have a concert, a release
-
concert. No church that day.
-
Church in the wild. Then July 6th we'll have an
-
official album. Release concert for your pastor
-
George. Truly.
-
Yeah. Now now now some of y'all like
-
hey man, like we're going to see.
-
And Pastor rapper, we going to see, I got bars, OK?
-
And we got beats and we got rhythm, OK?
-
You'll see at the album the listening party this coming
-
Saturday. I didn't plan to make an
-
announcement, but I'm going to make it since I'm up in this
-
thing right now, OK? Right.
-
I like this part, right? Because you come in British
-
Columbia and you say that's a pastor.
-
Hello, God's doing a new thing. Amen.
-
And so July 6th, we just booked it the other day.
-
We will be having July 6th is a Sunday.
-
We will be having the album release concert at the Hollywood
-
Theatre in in Kitsilano. Guess what?
-
That's a Sunday. No church.
-
Don't worry about it. No church.
-
No church. You can brunch.
-
You go to the beach, you go wherever, but we go.
-
Listen, I need it's. 600 capacity, all we need is like
-
three 5400 to really pack it out main floor 350 and it's like
-
right, we going to put all the marketing behind it.
-
But this is what you got to understand when they're
-
promoters and that secular market sees they not going to be
-
in see church. They going to see dollars.
-
That's fine. You look at dollars.
-
We got anointing, but they don't want to book us again.
-
When other acts come in town. They're going to want us opening
-
and now all of a sudden not not not my homies miles manic.
-
They they doing it in the states.
-
He's at rolling loud. If you know anything about
-
rolling out loud. It is probably one of the
-
biggest hip hop festivals. All the biggest names are there.
-
He's the first Miles came here. You know he's the.
-
First Christian artist to ever be booked.
-
How did that happen? Because they packed out secular
-
venues in the city and so this big festival saw that there was
-
a fixed following. Stop saying you love the body
-
and you support Nicki Minaj more than your pastor.
-
You know what I'm saying, right? Part of them 300 million
-
followers and we making them rich and we keeping the church
-
artist broke and I promise you there's some really dope
-
Christian artists yeah I'm I'm one of them scribe music is one
-
of them you know what I'm saying Dang now just day is 1.
-
Adam is one Amen, Amen love quest worship is and so we're
-
going to be church in a while. We we we have we have disrupted
-
what was Sunday means to the church and I'm sorry if you
-
Sunday and you show up you like Dang, that's my why y'all
-
messing with my day? We're not we're just we're just
-
relocating your day. OK, and so look out for those
-
and when we put out the promotions next Saturday,
-
tickets will you will have the first opportunity to get tickets
-
and they will be cheaper than that ever be.
-
They're going to go from $15 to $25 to $35.
-
Hieroglyphics from the Bay Area. They're coming to that same
-
venue. They sold out in a week.
-
They added a second show, right? Their tickets are almost 100
-
bucks. So don't come in me $15.00 is a
-
lot because some of y'all saw Taylor Swift, some of y'all, you
-
get what I'm saying. So stop playing $15.00 for that.
-
But by the time you finish your double caramel macchiato with
-
brulee chips on the top and almond milk and that's $15,
-
Don't play with me and you don't get a real Dope Show.
-
Live band, backup singers, it's going to go crazy.
-
I'm bringing my DJ friend from Oakland, CA, Elijah.
-
He's going to tear it up. And so anyways, all right, I
-
didn't. Mean to get it?
-
I'm anointed. I'm disruptive.
-
That's how we got there because Love Quest is disruptive and
-
prospering. The fire is not for Sunday and
-
the fire is not to just share with y'all.
-
The fire is to go out there in the marketplace and shine that
-
light. This.
-
Is a very crucial. Topic that we're on right now,
-
I'm going to give you some new and I think it's very important
-
to go back into last week because we're talking meat here
-
is not milk, this is meat. I will start off today by
-
telling you that you are holy. If he was here last week, you
-
already agree and you understand you are holy.
-
Next time somebody say you think you holier than thou, you say
-
no, no, no, no, just holy. You got the first part right.
-
I am holy. Why?
-
Because God called me holy and I came from him.
-
And guess what? He is holy.
-
Have the people of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can
-
live among them. Somebody shout out among them
-
one more time. Among them, you must build this
-
Tabernacle and it's furnishings exactly according to the
-
pattern. I will show you.
-
I'm going to read it one more time.
-
Just so you know, we're an exodus.
-
Oh yeah. Have the people say we the
-
people of Love Quest. No, no, no, you're done.
-
Build me a sanctuary so I can live among them.
-
We'll say it one more time. We'll read it one more time.
-
Have the people of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can
-
live among them. You must.
-
What does must mean? Have to command no other option.
-
If you do it any other way, it will not work.
-
You might get a counterfeit, but you will not get the benefits.
-
OK, You must build this Tabernacle and it's furnishings.
-
Somebody say exactly what does exactly mean exactly?
-
You're smart. Exactly, exactly according to
-
the pattern I will show you. Now in Genesis, we didn't need
-
to build nothing. We, we, we were just, we were
-
the garden sanctuary. We were the sanctuary.
-
It was his presence was a sanctuary.
-
I want us to really understand where God's plan is to get us
-
back to the Garden. New heaven, new earth, No more
-
sickness, no more disease, no more crying, no more fear, no
-
more shadows, no more darkness, no garden.
-
Realities are returning. That's the good news.
-
Amen. So you have to understand that
-
death is a door. Back to.
-
So we have to go. We have to die.
-
To say you don't want to die is to say you don't want to return
-
to. There's no other way.
-
We weren't created to die. But once sin entered in, death
-
is inevitable. But while we're waiting, we can
-
experience. The Kingdom of Heaven.
-
Within. That's why he wants a sanctuary.
-
He does not want a sanctuary for you to start your ministry.
-
He does not want a sanctuary for you to find your wife.
-
Oh, that's or husband or boyfriend, girlfriend, or a good
-
doughnut from the cafe. Whatever.
-
OK, let's get off of that. Whatever it is that we have made
-
church. He does not want a sanctuary
-
that's rocking on Sunday but dead Monday to Saturday.
-
He does not want to build another church where the most
-
activity is on Sunday and then throughout the week.
-
It's a secretary, the pastor and we handing out sandwiches.
-
The sanctuary is so he can live among us.
-
And where he lives, there is what freedom.
-
And we as a body remember what I said, There is revival happening
-
all over the world, but I cannot be a selfish St. and be
-
satisfied. That's not my mantle.
-
I don't have pastoral mantle where I'm just concerned about
-
how healthy this house is. But there's some broken toes,
-
there's some torn Achilles, there's some ripped Acls in the
-
body of Christ. And the body has to understand
-
that although I have a healthy arm, if I got a broken foot with
-
disease in it, then there should be concern towards that.
-
We can't just talk about the move of God here where there's
-
places of in this city that aren't experiencing the life of
-
God. So we got to be a a model bride
-
and we have to be that. So those that lay eyes upon what
-
God's doing, they can behold and it will encourage and strengthen
-
them. When you go to work, when you go
-
to the gym, you come from that cloth and you carry a piece of
-
that wherever you go. But here's the goal is so he can
-
live here. It is not visit so so love
-
quest. We don't have to invite.
-
Him here no more. Just just why?
-
Some churches I've been to, we got to invite him.
-
Why? Because he doesn't live there.
-
He's a Sunday God, good love quest.
-
I want you to have the conscience, conscience that he
-
lives here and he invited you to his house.
-
So when you walk to the tent, you say thank you, Lord.
-
You don't come in here saying, Lord, you're welcome here.
-
We're not hosting him, he's hosting us all.
-
Right, all right, all right. I made a statement last week
-
that is a life changing statement for me.
-
It wrecked me last week and it wrecked a few people.
-
From what I hear. We've been trying to find
-
ourselves outside of holy. We've been trying to find.
-
Ourselves in holy like books, holy like gatherings.
-
Remember Bible Bible talks about in these days forms of
-
godliness, but they deny the true power.
-
So it looks like he lives there until we scatter.
-
OK, you look holy until you get to work Monday and get around
-
worldly friends and now you cussing like them.
-
Right, you holy because you don't bring no cigarettes in
-
church, but when you leave you pop that pack in the car and now
-
you back to put put nicotine, alcohol, whatever it is in your
-
body form of godliness. You singing the songs, you got
-
the playlist, you got a T-shirt from a concert.
-
But holy is not this outward appearance.
-
Holy is who you are. It's your nature, you ready and
-
here it is. I'm going to say it to you, if
-
we are struggling with if we're male or female, you are already
-
so far from understanding your holy because what was made in
-
holy was male and female. So what the enemy is attacking
-
is identity, and then the next thing he's attacking is the
-
identity of family. Because once you walk in
-
holiness, power, unstoppable, revelation, clear identity, no
-
manipulation, you you in a rest, you understand who you are, and
-
most of all, who's you are. But we have been trying because
-
the gate is narrow, so we have millions of ways to try and find
-
out who we are based on dreams and desires and goals and
-
purpose. It's only one way to know who
-
you are as a creation. Only one way if the gate is what
-
but boy. You see how wide the enemy is
-
making the gate is so wide you can find right now you can go
-
find 100 different opinions on who you are, how you should
-
live, where you should live, what's the best place to live,
-
what's the best weather to live, who got the biggest mountains
-
in, how you can attend points to becoming a millionaire or a
-
billionaire or there's all these ways and what he's doing.
-
He's pointing that stuff you desire because remember what I
-
said last week? You have these goals and you
-
think when I get here I'm going to get.
-
This. But what you really were created
-
for is this. But now because you've lost your
-
way, you think this is going to bring it to you.
-
And it ain't God. You think job, career, spouses,
-
kids, all these things. You move to California, you move
-
to Toronto, You move to Bangladesh.
-
You move to Hawaii. You move where there's blue
-
water. You move to where there's no
-
mountains. You move to where there's no
-
wheat flour. You move to all these things.
-
You be vegan, you be Protestant. You be.
-
You be what plant you you. You don't eat red meat, you only
-
eat white meat. Animal diet, all bacon and
-
cheese. All this stuff that we think is
-
going to cause us to find us. And God did not cause us to live
-
a life of modification. Just 'cause you feel good and
-
your body don't mean you walking in holiness.
-
I don't care how good your body look it look.
-
I don't care how banging your hair is.
-
I don't care how big your muscles is.
-
I don't care how fly your car is.
-
I don't care how fly your home is.
-
What about this home? I don't care how long your
-
lashes are. I don't care how much you got in
-
the back or the front in the middle.
-
I don't care. How's your soul?
-
Don't care who you know? How's your soul?
-
We've been trying to find ourselves outside of holy.
-
No wonder we have power potential and not power living.
-
You you ever, you ever try to plug your phone up to an outlet
-
only to find out it ain't working?
-
That that's how that's how we are sometimes right people
-
supposed to plug into your life and get results.
-
Some of y'all can help people find a job, but you can't help
-
people find Jesus. You get what I'm saying You can
-
help people find a good time, but you can't help people to a
-
lifestyle of worship. So there's this form of
-
godliness. There's this power potential and
-
not. Power living.
-
A lot of our choices short circuit, the power that God
-
created us to walk in and live in.
-
You were created to walk in power.
-
How do I know that? It's in Genesis one, It's in the
-
Holy Scriptures and then we fail and then the Holy Spirit was
-
given to us to do what In the meanwhile, while we're waiting
-
for eternal power to a live a lifestyle of authority and
-
stewardship and dominion, Holy Spirit has come within us to
-
fill us so that we can walk in image and likeness.
-
You ready? If you're not walking in
-
authority, you're not walking in God's image or likeness.
-
You're not walking in garden realities.
-
If you get a runny nose and you think you got cancer, I'm just
-
saying how we just get freaked out over stuff.
-
You're not walking in authority when you go to family dinners
-
and you let your uncle who been drinking for 30 years before you
-
was born get on your nerves and you didn't you, You want to
-
leave because you don't have enough power to stand in the
-
midst of darkness, have joy while other people are walking
-
in oppression. You don't.
-
You're not walking in power. You you let people get on your
-
nerves. You get easily offended.
-
That's not a garden reality. You lose a job and you lose your
-
mind. You lose a boyfriend or a
-
girlfriend, you lose your mind. You don't know how to be single.
-
You don't know how to be alone. You don't know how to to, to
-
pursue God on your you don't. You don't know You need King
-
James. You need living translation, you
-
need TPT, you need NIV, you need amplified.
-
You need message amplified classic, the God version.
-
You need all this stuff for God to reveal himself.
-
And it's never meant to be that way.
-
We were just walking with him. Now all of a sudden we need
-
perfect sound, we need perfect disc, we need perfect that, we
-
need perfect disc. We need friends, we need
-
community, we need alpha, we need Omega.
-
We need all this stuff. And after you've went through
-
all the courses the church provides, are you just more
-
acclimated with the culture of the church or the culture of the
-
Kingdom? Are you walking in holiness or
-
are you now walking in community?
-
We have idolized community and abandoned Kingdom and not every
-
community. Is walking in Kingdom last day's
-
talk? In that day the Lord will remove
-
the heavy burden from your shoulders and break off the yoke
-
of bondage from your neck. In that day, this is our day.
-
Say this is our day. Is is there some heavy?
-
Is there anybody doing heavy lifting?
-
Like burdens? You have a burden for the bride,
-
you have a burden for seeing people, for sons and daughters
-
come home. Do you have a is there?
-
Does the darkness of the world bother?
-
Anybody in here at all? Now I'm talking about beyond it
-
threatening you. Like I don't want to walk
-
through that neighborhood because it's dangerous.
-
But as long as I, you know, I can go eat and have coffee and
-
kids, I have peace. So what you're saying is that I
-
don't really have a burden unless I walk through something.
-
But if I don't have to see it and if I can stay away from it,
-
then I'm really not burdened aside from when I see it.
-
My question is, can God show it to you?
-
See, I don't need to see E Hastings to be burdened about
-
Vancouver. What what I understand is
-
there's his yoke he puts up on me and he said this is what this
-
this is what Rebecca said. He said, let me go up and let me
-
see what God is going to tell me about the burden.
-
God opened his eyes to the calamity of the world and he saw
-
trouble. And because he wanted to see
-
what God saw, he also was willing to carry what God
-
carried. I'm talking about you ready.
-
I am talking about burden from God, not burden from
-
inconvenience. I'm not talking about you got
-
burdens when life ain't going your way.
-
I'm talking about burdens you carry because God's heart is
-
greed, because his children are lost.
-
It's very important to understand because you got to
-
see the main purpose for the anointing.
-
He says in that day, the Lord will remove heavy burden from
-
your shoulders and break off the yoke of bondage from your necks
-
because of the heavy anointing upon you.
-
The anointing is for those who are willing to carry the burden.
-
Once the burden leaves, the anointing has no purpose.
-
Yoke destroying, Bird removing. Power, He says, take my yoke up
-
on you. My yoke is easy.
-
Why? Because he's in partnership.
-
The burdens you have because of what you chose to walk in,
-
that's your stuff. So you can't be like, oops,
-
slipped up in it. God slipped me out.
-
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You didn't say Lord slip me in
-
you now you wanted to slip you out.
-
No, no, no, no, no. That's not how it work.
-
If you slipped in, everybody say you can slip out.
-
Why you need help now? Why you didn't ask for help and
-
discernment? Hallelujah, we OK, so then
-
prepare your hearts and minds. For action, stay alert.
-
So if God's telling us to stay alert, then what is the enemy
-
trying to do? Distract.
-
Can we all agree that there is great distractions?
-
In these days. Like back in the day, no phones.
-
I don't know. You, you tell your kids that
-
they'd be like, ma dad, that's your day.
-
Like when I tell my kids, see, I'm going to have to take you on
-
a mission trip so you could be more grateful.
-
They like, but I don't got to go on no mission trip.
-
That's not my life. And I get it.
-
God knew that we could not make it in that dispensation of time.
-
It was just simple, right? Sound crazy to ride a donkey
-
somewhere, but it's kind of simple, right?
-
That's why meal planning is pretty simple.
-
It's like you don't got to think about what?
-
You're going to eat. Thinking about dinner can be
-
very stressful. Has thinking about dinner ever
-
stole your joy or your peace? Yeah.
-
Lunch breakfast. That's why some people don't eat
-
breakfast, because it's too much to think about end up eating.
-
Chips for breakfast. Like, let me just grab some
-
chips. No, no, no.
-
Why? Why?
-
He said. Stay alert.
-
So the enemy's coming after your focus, man.
-
I'm, I'm trying to preach to some, some, some, some
-
believers. The enemy is coming after your
-
focus. And here it is.
-
He's coming after your ability to discern spirits, discern
-
God's timing, discern the relationships God is calling you
-
to. And then Jeremiah says, listen
-
to me. He says the heart is the most
-
deceitful of all and then he says who knows the heart?
-
What was the answer? God.
-
So if God knows the heart, you ready?
-
He knows the leaders you need, right?
-
In other words, you don't know your heart like God do.
-
So you trying to find a church and pick what you want and what
-
you think is your culture, your style, It ain't never.
-
It's not going to necessarily lead to your freedom.
-
Some churches we've been in allowed us to be comfortable in
-
our captivity and then we come here and we like it's too loud.
-
No, it's not too loud. No God too close to your
-
business now. So you start critiquing and
-
being picky. Church too long.
-
It ain't too long. But you know, the longer you
-
stay here, God might come down your Rd.
-
You'll sit in, you'll sit in the movie for three hours, you'll
-
binge 7 episodes. Don't talk about time.
-
What the problem is, is the enemy is like you got to get out
-
of here. You notice your awareness of
-
time never came from Revelation. It never came from the Spirit of
-
God. It came from your flesh.
-
You start getting antsy in church.
-
You're like, it's high. What's the Bible say?
-
Stay alert. But you just can't stay alert.
-
What are you? What are you fixed to picture?
-
Hope firmly on the marvelous grace that is coming to you.
-
For when Jesus Christ is unveiled, a greater measure of
-
grace will be released to you. For the believer, the darkness
-
of our times. Is good news.
-
Not for those who will be victims of the darkness, but for
-
those who are called to be the light.
-
In the darkness where sin abounds, grace does much.
-
More. He says in that day there's
-
going to be a great measure of grace.
-
He said where there's a really heavy burden, there's going to
-
be a heaven and heavy anointing. He says rise and shine.
-
Gross darkness will cover the earth.
-
But for you, my children, the glory of the Lord will be upon
-
you. Kings will come to your light.
-
That's good news for us. Somebody say I'm anointed for
-
such a time as God's obedient children, as God's obedient
-
children never again shape your life, your lives by the desires
-
that you followed when you didn't know better.
-
Some of y'all in here, you know better now.
-
So what's your excuse? That God says you have more.
-
You're held accountable now because you know better.
-
So you notice when you start manipulating your mind, you
-
start acting like you don't know.
-
So I hate it. Funny how we can make ourselves
-
forget something we know. That's some hardcore
-
manipulation where you just you, you shopping online and you just
-
like accidentally pressed that payment button.
-
You like, Oh no, come back and you start hitting the fuck up.
-
He's like, Dang Dang God, I won't do that next time.
-
I've never done that before. I was just, I went to.
-
I learned that in theological seminary school.
-
If you're watching, sweetheart, I'm so sorry.
-
I'll repeat right now in front of everybody.
-
Instead, shape your lives to become like back.
-
You see how he's trying to get us back to likeness?
-
He wouldn't tell us to become like if we never was to become
-
like the Holy One who what called you for Scripture says,
-
because it is written, you shall be holy, not act holy.
-
You shall be holy not act holy. And man became a living being,
-
not doing, but being. And that was the announcement
-
after Holy breathed in US. He says holy is this it's not
-
long dress. It's not a scarf over your face.
-
It's not no lipstick, no makeup. That ain't holy.
-
So all the church, anybody ever been to a holiness church or
-
been around where you you know, to the folk, you wear something
-
and they'd be like young lady to the you can't you got to go home
-
and change and come in here like.
-
You can't handle they legs, but God can you, You Now, now.
-
Here we go, Mark. Here we go, Mark.
-
If you actually be holy, a girl's cleavage won't disturb
-
you fellas. But you ain't being holy.
-
So you want her to change so you don't have to.
-
You know what I'm saying is it's like, no, she can't wear that.
-
She can't wear that. No, you can't stare that.
-
You stop staring. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm serious,
-
man. This is what holy allows you.
-
You're what you're trying here. It is.
-
You're trying to cope with perversion instead of if you
-
were being holy, some of the things that tempt you would not
-
tempt you. So we're trying, we're trying to
-
find ourselves outside of holy. That's why we need therapy.
-
Therapy is good. Come on that.
-
Now, now, whoever's on pro presenter, we ain't here yet.
-
They over there preaching they own sermon to them.
-
Get back. Here we go.
-
Angua. Her name is Angua.
-
You guys Angua? Like like no, no, no, no, no,
-
no, no. Understand, I couldn't just make
-
the decision to stop drinking and smoking.
-
I had. I understood that the call to
-
leave behind was the lesser of what I was called to step into.
-
And if you trying to leave something behind with a lesser
-
forward motive, then you will always end up back.
-
No, no, no, I, I was able to go cold Turkey because what was
-
before me tasted better, right? Right.
-
You ever break up with somebody and then you get with you
-
thought you didn't want to be with them, then you got with the
-
next one that was worse that that one.
-
Worse. Didn't want it.
-
You didn't want to get a new one.
-
You wanted to go back to the old one because you were programmed
-
to think that that's better than that.
-
What are you leaving for? Only way I was able to put down
-
the drink and the drugs and and the life and the woman.
-
Not all that. Only way is because what I was
-
stepping into the love of God was greater.
-
The love of God made me want to stay away made me want to me and
-
me and my wife was in Italy. You didn't think they asked us
-
did we want some wine. Me and my wife looked at each
-
other and know them before we went was like baby.
-
We went far away for like our 50th anniversary.
-
You know when we serve the Lord and we almost to heaven.
-
Can't like and we were both like, it ain't worth losing the
-
testimony. Like like, like you see what I'm
-
saying? I didn't say to you I didn't
-
want to have a sip but the sip isn't worth what I can stand up
-
here and tell you that I once was lost and now I'm found.
-
You get what I'm saying. It's not worth it and some of
-
y'all here it is. You're getting anxious in a
-
season. Ask yourself in your singleness,
-
does God want my singleness for a testimony?
-
Not is God trying to keep me from someone.
-
What's great if you just think God's trying to keep you from
-
something you think you're going to miss out and here it is.
-
That's how holy got messed up. Holy got messed up because the
-
devil said you, you still going to be good.
-
And here's how the enemy gets you.
-
If you start longing for something you think is not
-
attainable or it's never going to be yours or you'll never get
-
it. My clock's ticking.
-
I got to hurry up, find somebody to get pregnant because I want
-
babies. You don't want a husband, you
-
want babies. You don't want a husband, you
-
want a family. What is God trying to get you to
-
get rooted in so that that testimony can help the next
-
generation? Here it is.
-
Your story of singleness can heal someone who just got out of
-
prostitution and has been grossed out and traumatized by
-
relationship. It's not merely to tell somebody
-
to stay single. It is your singleness is might
-
be going to help somebody stay healed.
-
You fighting for your marriage is going to not merely just help
-
somebody stay married, but it's going to help their kids not get
-
divorced or abuse somebody here. You ready for they over how we
-
going to overcome and and by the what else is after that.
-
Then there's this denial of self, but that testimony part
-
people we think a testimony is something that God just brought
-
us out of that we accidentally slipped into and and it's not
-
really about that man. The testimony God graced you to
-
go to the club because he knew out of it it was going to be a
-
testimony. What if I told you every
-
believer's call is to have a testimony and it doesn't have to
-
be from trash. It don't got to be from getting
-
shot. It don't got to be from cancer.
-
It don't got to be. We always think, do you know,
-
one of the greatest testimonies is that didn't happen.
-
You should be holy, for I am holy.
-
You want to see holy in flesh, Look at Jesus.
-
He was tempted and Jesus had girls.
-
Now ladies, if you like a man got a good job, He got a nice
-
car and all that. Can you imagine just hanging
-
around Jesus and just like you saw him take a lunch pail some
-
of y'all? If y'all saw Jesus turn that
-
water into wine, you would have been like, that's my man right
-
there. God told me that you the wisdom
-
that he had, the game that he had.
-
Help us, Jesus. The Bible said he had.
-
He was tempted in every way what Jesus says.
-
Jesus was looking for his testimony to be in Hebrews 12.
-
It was hard for me, but boy, I saw people far off and I had joy
-
because I knew my testimony. Was going to save.
-
Terrence See, we're not fighting for testimonies.
-
We're not trying to protect testimony.
-
We just slipping up on testimonies.
-
Oh, I was getting drunk and I don't drink no more.
-
But you didn't have to drink. It would have been more of a
-
testimony if you just didn't drink, right?
-
All testimonies don't got to be what he brought me from.
-
It could be where he kept me. Am I talking to somebody?
-
Has God, Has God kept anybody from anything, from anywhere?
-
Come on. If he has, lift your hands right
-
where you are and just open your mouth and thank him.
-
There's some places you didn't have to be, some places you
-
wouldn't have survived, some places you wouldn't have made
-
it. God, thank you for keeping us
-
out of it. Thank you for protecting us from
-
it. Lord God, thank you for shutting
-
that door. Thank you, Father, for keeping
-
me from things that I didn't even know.
-
If you brought it to me or allowed it, I would have.
-
I would have gave in. A good parent keeps their kids
-
from now say, go ahead, do it. I got you.
-
The good, good father's trying to keep you out of it.
-
The good, good father told Adam and Eve, Don't even try.
-
I'm putting the tree there, but so you don't have to have that
-
tree. You can have all of these.
-
I'm here to tell you what God is trying to keep you from.
-
There is so much to eat off of. Do not be enamoured by that one
-
tree. That experience is not worth
-
your covenant. Come on, lift your hands, open
-
your mouth right where you are. If He's kept you from some stuff
-
and I want you to praise Him and worship Him for what He kept you
-
from and you don't know about it because let me tell you, it's
-
some stuff that God kept you from that you will not find out
-
what He kept you from till you get on the other side.
-
That person that stepped on your porch and tried to break in
-
while you were asleep and they went to the next neighbor's
-
door, that car that was about to take you out.
-
Come on, open your mouths. Yeah.
-
Come on, thank him. Come on.
-
It's not just what you brought me from.
-
It's what you kept me from. Come on.
-
It's what you kept me from. Lord God, you kept me from that
-
relationship. You kept me from that
-
conversation. You kept me.
-
Lord, You kept me. You kept me standing when I
-
would have failed. Lord, God, come on, You kept me.
-
You kept me from my own ignorance.
-
You kept me from my own pride. You kept me.
-
God, you kept me. Lord Jesus, you kept me.
-
Come on. I should have lost my mind.
-
But you kept my mind. Lord God, come on, You kept me.
-
Lord God, bring it down.
-
Want you to hear me? God will always try to keep you
-
from before. He lets you through.
-
Every person has been here where you, you, you.
-
You had trouble breaking through something.
-
Here it is where the enemy will trick you and your flesh and
-
biblical manipulation. Do you think because it's harder
-
to get, it must be God and it must be the devil trying to keep
-
it from me. But how many times have you
-
fought for something? You prayed for something you
-
ready and you gave for something you got into it and you like,
-
wait a minute. I thought God, I I just know for
-
sure God told me. Now your faith is jacked up.
-
I'm trying to tell you. God is saying that this season
-
should be simple. Same word.
-
He gave us the hardest thing to do this year.
-
It's going to be. Interest.
-
I'm telling some of you, you don't have to have.
-
That side of the testimony, God is trying to keep some of you
-
from greater trouble. Here it is.
-
God is God. Wants.
-
You for himself. He's trying to redeem a
-
generation and a people so that we can bring this last day
-
harvest home. It's not about your desires
-
right now. It's about God's desires and his
-
desires is his sons and daughters.
-
This is why we're after building this building and trying to
-
close it out and trying to get across the finish line.
-
Come on, lift your hands all over the place.
-
We've tried to find ourselves outside of holy and we were
-
created in holy from holy for holy in holy from holy for holy.
-
God is coming for His children and for those that want to be
-
home, welcome home. I will tell you that.
-
Home and we're going to get. Into this next experience.
-
But home is not this building. This is home.
-
This is why you're going to be set free.
-
This is why Pharmakeia will not be able to hold you as you get
-
rooted in the word is because he paid for this body.
-
This body does not belong to drugs.
-
It does not belong to anything toxic or perverted.
-
He's coming for his home. He's coming for his children.
-
He's coming for His bride. So, Father, I thank you for the
-
finished work of the blood of Jesus.
-
We thank You for confirming Your word with miracles, signs, and
-
wonders. Lord, we walk away in full
-
confidence that before we even came to this moment, You knew
-
exactly what we needed. So Lord, I thank you that we
-
have approached our prayer closet with a yes and Amen.
-
Your promise still stands. Great is your faithfulness.
-
Hallelujah, Amen. Well, you got to get rooted,
-
Stay rooted. You got to come to a house that
-
is going to continue to feed you the Word.
-
We start our Wednesday nights back up this Wednesday, make a
-
make a decision, come on, make a decision, make a decision to not
-
be a Sunday Christian. What are we coming here
-
Wednesday for? To make disciples.
-
You want to be equipped, you want to be trained and you want
-
to do it alongside other people who are fighting for their lives
-
and their freedom. Wednesday night, this Wednesday
-
night, for those who have never been, it's going to be a
-
different format. We will have worship, but we
-
will have some little breakout sections because we want what
-
we're teaching to be ingrained. It's going to be fun, it's going
-
to be good. And hopefully through your
-
faithfulness and continual attendance, you will get
-
connected to a group and and be disciple and become a part of
-
this dynasty family, right? I know the Lakers have a
-
dynasty. They working on getting it back.
-
I know Boston, you know what I mean.
-
But what I do know is the Kingdom of God is and was the
-
1st and will be the last dynasty standing.
-
Yeah. And so one thing I want you to
-
mark in your calendar is next Saturday, I need you to help us
-
pack this place out from the front to the back is going to be
-
fun. We're going to have some food.
-
We're going to have some fun. And you're going to get and we
-
don't, man, it's going to be so cool.
-
How we going set up this stage? But we are going to have a
-
listening party and you're going to get a chance to listen to
-
like 30 of my new songs and you're going to help me select
-
what my album is going to look like.
-
We're going to have some live performances by a few of our own
-
in the house and we'll have a DJ.
-
It's going to be super fun. Saturday night at 7:00 PM.
-
Don't come at 7, come earlier because you, you you might end
-
up out there in the tent if you don't come in here, it's going
-
to be some couches and it's going to be fun.
-
So come out and support. Can y'all do that?
-
All right, some of y'all didn't say nothing, but that's OK.
-
I'm going to guard my heart from you.
-
Amen. And then May 9th, there's not a
-
flyer, but I want to get it in your in your soul.
-
A few months back we went to Victoria.
-
Anybody know people in Victoria? Anybody ever heard of Victoria?
-
Amen. OK.
-
Do you, how many people know Victoria need Jesus?
-
Amen. And so we're going to go back
-
May 9th and we're going to have a worship night out there and
-
encounter night. We have the church, we have
-
everything set up and it's a Friday night.
-
And so mark it on your calendar because if you can come out
-
there and make it and be a part of it, it'd be nice to have Love
-
Quest show up on the island and run some demons off that island.
-
Is that cool? All right, all right.
-
Put your hand on your neighbor's shoulder and then look at them.
-
Say don't touch me. No, I'm just playing.
-
I'm just playing. I'm just playing.
-
I'm just playing. I'm just playing.
-
I'm just playing. I'm just playing.
-
Come on, Pray for your neighbor. Just 30 seconds.
-
Something simple and straight. Forgetting something.
-
I forgetting something. What's that weekend called?
-
King Me 10 seconds is that? 5 seconds.
-
All right, listen up really quickly next weekend.
-
Is our Our anniversary was in February, but we're celebrating
-
it next Sunday. All right so the entire weekend
-
is is it's it's it's I'll be preaching on King me for our
-
anniversary and I'll bring some revelation to what that is as we
-
leave 7 and go to 8 and David, what is his was the 8th, the 8th
-
brother, right, 8th brother something special about this
-
eighth year. And so next weekend the the the
-
album release concert is a part of the anniversary celebration
-
and so or listening party. So we need y'all out for
-
Saturday and Sunday. OK, Amen.
-
I think that's it. No, no, please. 15th was it 13
-
grand Brettt came in last week. We have $237,000 to get in a
-
week. It's in the house.
-
Is it sacrificial? Absolutely.
-
OK, But anything that's going to last, it's going to cost.
-
We want to be in our building by June, but we cannot do that for
-
free. Amen.
-
Everybody, 100% of the people in this room can give something.
-
So I am looking forward to telling you the testimony next
-
weekend that what we are asking for and what God is needing for
-
this house, we going to bring it in.
-
Amen. Have a wonderful day and tell
-
somebody on the way out. You look real good today.
-
Amen. Get your love fixed man.
-
We need the fear of the Lord. Thank you so much for tuning
-
into this week's sermon. We pray you were challenged,
-
equipped and encouraged. Make sure to follow us on all
-
platforms. That's Lovequest Intl church.
-
We out here for real. We're really doing it.
-
That's Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
-
You can find us anywhere you need to find us.
-
But until next time, you know the drill.
-
You know the motto, get your love fixed man and we'll see
-
y'all real soon.
