Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International
-
Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the
-
church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.
-
We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever
-
you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get
-
your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe
-
some tea, and get ready to receive.
-
It's go time. Let's get into it.
-
Have a seat that was not planned, but it was ordained.
-
Amen. Come on, make some noise for
-
your neighbor one time. I promise you that was not
-
planned. I'm a very shy person so I would
-
never ask them to do that. I promise, I promise.
-
But if you have not supported your pastor and went and
-
downloaded the new single that was released the other day,
-
listen, don't do it. You're missing out.
-
OK, so go ahead and download and share because we just put out
-
another single and guess what it's called.
-
My God, you see these? You got to support this.
-
Why? Because the graphics is fire
-
done. Come on, come on.
-
The graphics is fire done done in house.
-
The beat is fire done in house, the lyrics are fire done in
-
house and it's annoying so be a part of something great.
-
Look no further. I'm I saw it and I'm so happy
-
for what God is doing at 2819. It's the church in Atlanta.
-
But I think what made me sad is a family sold everything and
-
went to the church in Atlanta because they they wanted
-
revival. And as much as you say revivals
-
landed here at your church, how many people have you compelled
-
and let them know that fire has landed at your church so they
-
don't have to move. Now I believe that God ordained
-
that family to move, but how many people you would sell
-
everything just to be where God is right?
-
That level of desperation to where I got to find a house, not
-
just my favorite pastor, not just a word.
-
I will take my wife and my children.
-
We will sell everything and we will just trust God and we going
-
to drive from Canada to Atlanta because we have to be where God
-
is moving. What kind of what what kind of
-
urgency do you put on Because here, here's what I will tell
-
you. Revival has landed the fire.
-
God is in this house, right? And what I noticed in certain
-
parts of the world, it's not that God isn't moving or is
-
moving, it's the people that He's moving amongst.
-
How much importance do you put on it?
-
If 2819 call out their church to come to church every single day
-
for a month? I promise you, because I'm from
-
that soil, I would say 80% of the church would show up every
-
day because they know and believe that God is moving and
-
they know to live in that climate.
-
They it without God, it's impossible.
-
We're cozy out here, I get it. But if you want your city saved,
-
let's put it this way. Vancouver is one of the most
-
broken cities in the world. Your, your, your city with all
-
the Grizzlies and the mountains and the lakes and the rivers and
-
the, the dolphins and the whales that's floating through and all
-
the eateries and all of that. This city is one of the most
-
broken cities in the world. There's a revive.
-
There's, there's a price for revival.
-
So this isn't just some cute little thing you come to on
-
Sunday to get you fixed is really not about a lot of the
-
stuff that we we make it to be. I'll make an announcement your
-
church this church has Wednesday night Bible study every week.
-
What you going to do about it Immediately there's a passage
-
about some of you man, I just bought a house.
-
I got to man, I just got married.
-
I got to man. That's my gem time.
-
I got to man, I'm busy. I got to, that's my kids got to
-
when I, I got, there's a total team in the back.
-
Everybody's busy and everybody prioritized what's important to
-
them. This isn't a matter of if you
-
have time to come to Bible study, It's the level of price
-
you put on it, right? It's like we put a price on
-
being on Instagram, but look at your, your, your screen time and
-
it'll show you that Instagram is a priority, right?
-
Why are we here on Wednesdays? Not just to gather.
-
We're here to stay full. We get here to get sharpened.
-
We get here to get encouraged. We get here.
-
See, renewing your mind and transformation is, is a
-
lifestyle, right? You can't be transformed without
-
the renewing of your mind be transformed by the renewing.
-
Let me help you out. You can't be renewed once a week
-
ready. You can't be renewed once a week
-
gathering with the Saints and the rest of the week gathering
-
by yourself. The the church is God's pencil
-
sharpener. Like you got to be around the
-
body to be sharpened. You got to learn how to feed
-
yourself 100%. But the gathering of the Saints
-
in the last days will be a matter of life or death for some
-
people. The local church is the
-
bloodline that's keeping our society connected to heaven,
-
right today I have the strangest message to preach to you, and
-
I'm here for it. So pray for me, OK?
-
Because I've I've never presented Jesus this way.
-
I know I have. I warned you.
-
I think I've been warning you. I think I've been.
-
Yeah, I've been warning you. OK.
-
And so today, just brace yourself.
-
Pray for me. Receive.
-
We going to laugh. We may cry.
-
I don't know. I'm just getting ready to strap
-
up and we about to go on the ride.
-
I don't know where this is going to end.
-
I'm warning you. I don't know, OK?
-
I'm just in the passenger seat and I'm along for the ride.
-
And I'm the one in the car that got to talk the whole time, OK.
-
And so you can say a few things too.
-
So. But Father, we thank you today
-
for your word, the bread of life.
-
Lord, as we sit at your feet and we receive your Word, we thank
-
You that Your Word will be preached and received with
-
courage and boldness, without offense, but with love and with
-
a desire. And they made-up mind to respond
-
to the Word. May we move from just being
-
intellectual hearers to partakers in the life of the
-
Word. Holy Spirit, make us
-
uncomfortable. If that's what you need to do,
-
convict us. If that's what you need to do,
-
correct us if that's what you need to do.
-
I know whatever you need to do is is to make us better, is to
-
bring us back into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.
-
So we here for it. I declare that we are good
-
ground. And lastly, we come against the
-
spirit of error, not only speaking it, but also hearing in
-
error. We rebuke the devourer, we
-
rebuke the enemy, we rebuke the flesh from being able to steal
-
the word, manipulate the word, tarnish the word.
-
We rebuke Darnell now in Jesus name, Hallelujah.
-
Darnell go in Jesus name, Hallelujah, Amen.
-
If you don't know who Darnell is, see some stuff just come in
-
context. It's just like when you hear
-
most of the time you get all inside jokes and stuff like
-
that. So ask somebody who who Darnell
-
is. OK, but not now.
-
Not now. Knowing what's happening because
-
of God's hand versus the devil's hand is very crucial to your
-
prayer life. I'm going to say it again
-
knowing. What is happening in your life
-
because of God's hand or the devil's hand is very crucial to
-
your prayer life. How we pray is based on not just
-
our knowledge of God, but our perspective of God and what's
-
going on in our life. Right.
-
If someone knocks on your door but you think they busted it
-
down, you are going to respond based on a busted down door, not
-
somebody that just knocked. And we all have a tendency, some
-
way more than others, than to them blow.
-
We, we. We.
-
Blow things out of proportion and a lot of times we are
-
perceiving through trauma we're perceiving through lies you
-
ready we're perceiving through fatigue you're just tired the
-
kids aren't really loud you're tired right your wife didn't
-
just curse at. You, she just said.
-
I don't want to cook. I don't know what's worse.
-
Right. She's tired.
-
You're tired. But our perception of who?
-
And this is what a good director, film writer does.
-
You don't know who killed who. They present you all these
-
options. And you like wait a minute and
-
if you if you like me and my wife, we like watch movies as
-
buddies and sometimes I get on their nerves because I'm the
-
person that don't really like intellectually watch a movie.
-
So I'm always like, what happened?
-
What did what did that say? What they say?
-
Like I'm watching the movie. I know they just went in the
-
house, but what is that conversation about?
-
Right? I need you to summarize it every
-
like when there's a break in the movie, can you just tell me why
-
they right? This part don't seem that
-
important. So can you explain the last
-
part? Because based on the soundtrack,
-
something just happened and I think I need to know what just
-
happened, right. So I'm the person you we
-
watching a series together. When we get back to the series
-
before we start the next episode, I'm like, what just
-
happened? OK, There's where, where there's
-
there's two different. Eyes and two different sets of
-
ears. And that's how it is right now.
-
Everyone in here is going to hear based on your lens.
-
Some people you walk in here already offended because it's
-
cold or it's a tent. So you looking for a reason to
-
leave because you cold, not because the word bad, right?
-
You got male issues, trust issues, female issues, you, you,
-
you, you, even me some places I couldn't wear this hat up here
-
in the pulpit without you. You can't hear that the words
-
anointing you just like he wearing a hat.
-
And now you judge him based on how you was raised.
-
So you got lenses of religion in here, you got racial lenses, you
-
got all kinds of lenses. And let me tell you your prayer
-
life. Is is is a communication through
-
your life lens, not even through your word lens.
-
No matter how you how long you pray, you will always end up
-
back at how you see it. Why God say renew your mind?
-
That's where perspective is. That's where perception is.
-
OK. So this is very important today.
-
Here it is. Listen, God, Devil both uses
-
your obedience to fear or faith. A lot of us in here have blamed
-
the devil on a lot of stuff he didn't even know.
-
What's going on in your life? Both uses obedience to fear or
-
faith. So God uses your obedience to
-
His Word. The enemy uses your fear.
-
OK, here's what fear is. Fear is faith it won't happen.
-
Fear is faith. It won't.
-
Work fear is faith. It couldn't be me.
-
So both of you, both uses your obedience to your fear or faith,
-
both uses your determination or your doubt, your forgiveness or
-
your bitterness, your disbelief or your belief, your trust or
-
your suspicion, your unity or your division.
-
They move within the boundaries of God's Word or lack thereof.
-
The devil cannot mess with an obedient child of God.
-
There's boundaries. Those that stay in the shadow,
-
under the shadows of Almighty's wings, those that are, are under
-
that are in, those that are abiding, those are in the narrow
-
gate, those that are walking in the light.
-
He says your steps are ordered, understand?
-
So the devil is looking for people that's out of bounds.
-
This is why a person who is obedient never is threatened by
-
the devil. The devil is not even a part of
-
your vocabulary when you're obedient.
-
God's not talking about the devil.
-
As far as God knows is the devil's defeated.
-
The devil did not resurrect. He has no resurrection power.
-
He's done doomed over. But that sin conscious you
-
always think the devil has power.
-
And let me tell you something, you can't think that the devil
-
has power and see you as victorious here.
-
It is the life of the law of the Spirit or the law of the Spirit
-
of life. Romans 8/2 It refers to the
-
principles or the power of the Holy Spirit that sets believers
-
free from the law of sin and death, offering liberation and a
-
new life in Christ. There's.
-
Two laws. One is the law of spirit of
-
life. And the second.
-
Is the law of the flesh that refers to the natural
-
inclination towards sin and self centeredness that is in is
-
inherent in humanity contrasting with the guidance of the Holy
-
Spirit. This is why it's easy to find
-
sin in someone more than holiness.
-
This is why it's easy for you to look at yourself and see how bad
-
you are versus how redeemed you are.
-
Because we are naturally born into the law of the flesh.
-
But through Jesus Christ we transferred over.
-
We not double Dutch in. This isn't a split.
-
I don't got 1 foot into the life of death and 1 foot into the
-
life of death. I don't have one foot at the
-
cross and 1 foot at the right side in heaven.
-
I'm either still stuck at the cross because I'm a Sinner or I
-
got up when he got up like the Bible says, and I'm living a
-
victorious life at the right hand of my father.
-
This is what the word says, right?
-
So it's very important because a lot of times what we may see as.
-
Rude by God hint hint. When I mean rude, this is very
-
important to get before we move forward.
-
What I mean. Rude is inconvenient,
-
inconsiderate, loveless, insensitive, or attacked.
-
A lot of times when we think God's being rude.
-
Not like little kids throw tantrums because their parents
-
are trying to do something that's going to grow them, not
-
slow them down. You think you're my you ever had
-
your kids? Say that was rude.
-
No, clean your room. That's all I said.
-
And then I added now on it and that's rude.
-
Or you didn't do it. No, we're not getting ice cream
-
today. We get ice cream tomorrow.
-
Why are you yelling at? I'm not yelling at you.
-
I'm just I'm talking with certainty.
-
Right, somebody say rude, right? You got to understand rather you
-
have ever called God rude. If you really think about it,
-
you have considered God as rude for interrupting your life, for
-
closing that door. But opening 1, you didn't want
-
to walk through you like I didn't ask for that open door.
-
He's like, well, that open door you prayed for, you got to go
-
through this open door first. Somebody say rude, right?
-
But understand when you're saying God is rude, OK, you are
-
really saying he inconvenienced you.
-
He's inconsiderate, loveless, right?
-
That's how we see accountability.
-
See it it's insensitive and attack today's message is called
-
so rude, so rude somebody say so rude and then God's response is
-
and now what you going to do? Oh, this is a weird message
-
today, but it's so good. As I'm getting this ready, I'm
-
like, yeah, if nobody in this room has ever just I've I've
-
considered God rude when you brought me to Canada.
-
No, not that part was rude. When you brought me for one
-
reason and then a few months later that thing blew up in my
-
family's face after we said bye to everything, packed up
-
everything took our one year old, our 8 year old, and our 10
-
year old on the road and, and, and, and they left their friends
-
and we left our parents. Super rude.
-
You might have lost a loved one and you like really?
-
Someone might have mistreated you.
-
You like, really, you might have been in a relationship and God
-
shut the door abruptly. And you like, rude.
-
You didn't say it out loud. But today I'm about to present
-
to you rude Jesus because you you you think you would follow
-
Jesus if he was in his flesh today Like if he was up here you
-
think you would follow Jesus. I would say 98% of y'all by the
-
stuff you get offended by now you really would have been you
-
would have been left to church. You would have not followed
-
Jesus and therefore you see why certain people in the Bible
-
didn't follow him after a while. Jesus just I'm talking about the
-
human little Carpenter super rude if rude is defined of how
-
we see rude Now there's going to be two parts today.
-
We not going to get through all of this OK but today's message
-
is so rude and he's saying back and now what you're going to do
-
because he's never changed his rude nor has he apologized for
-
being rude. I've never heard God apologize
-
to me for disrupting my life. The day came when Yahweh said.
-
To Noah, let's just start real quick at Rude God come into the
-
ark. You and your entire household
-
prior to this, Noah's God told Noah, hey, buddy, look at here.
-
These people are nasty sick and yeah, there's no way you guys
-
are going to make it. If we don't do something quick
-
and I've chosen you and your family to build an ark, buddy,
-
no one's going to believe you. You're going to look at you like
-
you're crazy. And because they don't believe
-
you, they won't help you build it.
-
You're going to build This rain is coming, although there has
-
not been a sign of it. And guess what you're going to
-
do? You're going to take your
-
family. I didn't get to this part last
-
week, but there was 8 humans in the ark.
-
New beginnings. It was Noah's sons and their
-
wives, 6 and Noah and his wife. And then he said I need 2 by
-
two. I need I need a male and AI need
-
a male and a female if we going to reproduce this day.
-
I need what everybody said male and female.
-
OK, so it's going to be you and your family. 8 is enough and
-
then everybody else, your friends.
-
You notice what he said? Take your wife and your kids.
-
Your uncle Neil, your neighbor that you you y'all cut each
-
other lawn, your Co workers but God what about the little girl
-
down the street? Wait a minute God what about Bob
-
and his disabled children? God what about that man that's
-
sick down the road? Like what we you mean I'm
-
building an ark for me and my family?
-
Not even my whole family, just my immediate family.
-
I'm only grabbing 2 of each male.
-
And female of each animal. And this is your redemption plan
-
to restore humanity. You.
-
You mean that a day is about to come that I have to be separated
-
from all I know, and you don't want me to offer nobody else
-
this opportunity to escape hell? I don't necessarily see this
-
conversation that I'm having right now with God and Noah or
-
what I do. See Is God giving Noah
-
instructions? And Noah obeyed.
-
There was no conversation, God just gave instructions.
-
And what's crazy is what he left behind was very small to the
-
humans that were on the line. In the future, God's plan is
-
forward. God is always calling you out
-
of, away from. Here we go.
-
OK, OK, OK, he says come into the ark.
-
Here's an invitation. Anytime God asks you to do
-
something, even if it's difficult, disrespectful or
-
rude, he's inviting you into something.
-
You and your here it is your entire household for I found you
-
pause yeah those those say to be only be the only one righteous
-
in my eyes in this generation. Now I do understand this is a
-
shadow and type and this ark represents Christ and all that
-
come into the ark or all that come into Jesus Christ.
-
New Testament believers, we are all redeemed and saved judgment,
-
saved from hell, saved from death, saved from darkness,
-
saved from eternal death. This is an Old Testament
-
prophetic image really happened, but it's pointing to Jesus
-
Christ. So I could take this and, and,
-
and the implications of this is to tell you, man, how many
-
people are you leaving behind if you don't come into what God is
-
inviting you to? This is what I mean when God is
-
inviting you into something, what's more important, where you
-
want to stay or where God is trying to take you for them?
-
Right, it's very. Hard to be codependent and
-
follow Jesus. For I have found you to be the
-
only God found you. Like forget how hard it is.
-
Who are you that he found you to be qualified?
-
Who are you that he found you to be a vessel?
-
That he wants to invite you in on a transaction that he's about
-
to do in the world? Like you're worried about the
-
wrong stuff. So what is hard?
-
Who are you that you was once lost, disconnected from him, and
-
now he found you worthy through Christ to walk with him to
-
redeem some other people? Oh man, you think way too small.
-
The day and you're going to notice throughout the message
-
today, there's going to be little notes at the bottom,
-
little conversations I'm having. I'm little side pieces, little
-
AD libs. OK, It's the day he calls you
-
for them. And they went into the ark with
-
Noah, two and two of all flesh, in which there were the breath
-
and spirit of life, Verse 16 says.
-
And they that entered, those that entered, male and female of
-
all flesh, went in as God had, as God, as those that entered,
-
entered in as God has commanded Noah.
-
Wait a minute. So you mean Noah's obedience has
-
a trickle down effect? I would tell every man in here
-
you want to get your family in alignment with God's plan.
-
You lead the way of obedience and you stay anchored.
-
Some of the greatest attacks in family happens because the the
-
the priest of the the role of the priest of the house gets
-
shifted over to somebody who wasn't called to be the priest
-
of the house. And then that woman, that wife
-
got a carried of spiritual load of the house.
-
And sometimes the child has to parents don't want to go to
-
church with the children. Like mom, I want to go to
-
church. And a lot of times these days,
-
parents don't go to church. They'll drop their kids off at
-
youth ministry. Husbands don't.
-
Husbands don't want to worship. They don't want to do the extra.
-
They want to be men. Men, let me tell you, ain't no
-
man if you don't really follow the man, all of him, every word
-
he's spoken. My marriage did not turn around
-
one iota until I said yes to God and followed Him from that day
-
forward. Trust was rebuilt.
-
Strength was and This is why I don't matter what happens in my
-
children's life because I am not disconnected from the
-
cornerstone. My kid.
-
It's only, it's, it's like if your kids was on, you know, you
-
know, you ever see them? Kids in the mall and their
-
parents got them on a leash. That now I was that's that's,
-
that's not human right? That's not OK.
-
OK, it's like, but that's how it is when you're anchored in your
-
in in When you're anchored, you can't anchor your family to
-
income. You can't anchor your family to,
-
oh, I go to work so we can have this lifestyle.
-
So what when your kids go astray?
-
This is what I'm staying anchored for.
-
I'm depositing today's obedience for later on, for a later on
-
attack of the enemy. So when my kids go that way, I'm
-
staying right here and it's only a matter of time that they will
-
return. Are you ready to the place?
-
I don't even know my kids, they life, they emotions, they they,
-
they activities will never move you or me from where God has
-
called me to stand. It is no excuse.
-
There's public transportation. As the man of my family, I have
-
a responsibility to be the first one in the ark, and if you ain't
-
with me on that, you preach in another gospel.
-
Hence why your soul ain't prospering.
-
Rude. With truth.
-
And he goes in and says, And that that they that entered male
-
and female of all flesh man. No, no, I can't get off this one
-
last thing man. I watched women hold it down in
-
my family for men. That mean that men is better.
-
That's just how God ordained it. I watched my grandmama hold it
-
down for men. I watched my Mama hold it down.
-
I watched my auntie hold it down and when is the women going to
-
stop having to hold it down? That mean no, no, we going to
-
hold it down together. But the women often are carrying
-
the spiritual burden of the house and that's not God's
-
design, says when in as God had commanded Noah listen and God
-
knew how hard it was for Noah to leave.
-
So I'm not going to have Noah have to turn back to close the
-
door. And the season that you are in
-
and have come out of God is the one who shut the door abruptly
-
because you were too emotionally tied to do it.
-
You would have turned back to close the door, but you would
-
have walked back out of it. And that's the prophetic image
-
you have to see. It seems rude, but you were too
-
in Kate. You were too attached.
-
God, in His loving mercy, close the door for you, and He shut
-
it. He shut you in and He closed the
-
door around you. He's not just shutting you in.
-
He's also keeping that stuff out in your right mind.
-
You really want to. Do you know if Noah had to close
-
the door? See, when God closes the door,
-
it's like great sound insulation.
-
Noah couldn't hear the claws scratching at the door.
-
He couldn't hear the screams of his neighbor.
-
He couldn't hear the cries of parents.
-
We see it in today when people are trying to escape other parts
-
of the world and boats are leaving them and they're
-
carrying their children around. This is real stuff.
-
Noah had to leave knowing that everything he knew, everybody he
-
knew, and their families were not just about to experience an
-
earthquake, they were about to be wiped off the planet.
-
That's why God didn't warn you or God God's like, why would I
-
warn you when you didn't take none of the red flags?
-
See, God ain't like us. He don't waste his breath, nor
-
is he going to beg you like he he's like you wouldn't listen.
-
So I'm just going to have to shut the door.
-
I don't know if I'll get it to it to it today, but God talks in
-
multiple ways. First, he talks directly to you,
-
then you won't listen. He talks directly to you in a
-
few ways. First of all, his word.
-
The second way he talks talks to you is he sends a messenger who
-
ain't afraid of you. And do you know how many people
-
will disobey not only God but they also disobey the messenger
-
and got the nerve to tell the messenger me and God?
-
Good. No y'all ain't.
-
You're just using a using God as an excuse to not obey who God
-
sent. And you really think we up here
-
trying to just be your God? No, we're messenger sent by God
-
who just ain't afraid of you just going to tell you how it
-
is. And guess what?
-
You'll never be able to tell God.
-
What was all that? For I want to go back to Genesis
-
6. You shall make a window, right?
-
First of all, that's rude. The, the, the, what we just left
-
is God shut the door. When when God is moving, there's
-
no time to give goodbyes. Let me, let me help some of you.
-
Let me help some of you. You can't move on until you get
-
closure. And God is saying you don't need
-
closure. He's closed it.
-
Trying to get closure will cause you to walk back in because
-
you're dealing with a manipulator.
-
I've come to notice that when I've yearned foreclosure, God is
-
you don't need closure. But that was pretty rude that
-
like you just, you know, Noah's probably 1 to go back out.
-
Is everybody in? Noah walked in and heard boom.
-
I want you to understand this arc had only one window, so it
-
wasn't like Noah could just run up and try to you know when God
-
closes the door. All you, All you.
-
This is how you know this is how.
-
No, that's how you know God closed the door because only
-
thing that's left to see is him. Hey, look, look, look here it
-
is. You shall make a window for
-
light and ventilation, not a window to escape out of.
-
He said you only going to need two things on this walk.
-
You going to need light the Word, and you going to need
-
ventilation worship. That sounds like a simple life
-
right there. I based on what he he just shut
-
me out of because of what you had there was arguing, fighting,
-
rebellion, all kind of stuff kicked in wasted money.
-
God said, look, this is a hard. Season emotionally, but this is
-
going to get as simple as you've ever had it.
-
All I need from you is to get in his word and worship me, he
-
said. I need you to to make this
-
window light and ventilation for the ark and finish it or at
-
least a cubic 18 inches that's really not that big like a
-
window like you like you want maybe this big old arc and then
-
you just want 18 inch window. Here's the part, it said.
-
From the top. That window ain't for you.
-
That window is for the sun to come in because y'all going to
-
need some light. You see the little note at the
-
bottom what it say focus on me. We when God brings us in seasons
-
that he's like I mean I'm allowing all this to happen
-
because I'm trying to get your attention.
-
We find that is rude like God. But I wanted to do this and I
-
wanted to do that. We blame the devil, we blame our
-
Mama, we blame the pastor, we blame blame the weather, we
-
blame the city, we blame the government, we blame all these
-
things and God's like. He said and set the entry door
-
of the ark in its side, and you shall make it with lower second
-
and third decks. And I wrote a little note at the
-
bottom. If God put a door on it, it's
-
also a promise it will come out of this.
-
But how often when God is trying to shift your life, you think
-
it's over. You're right.
-
You never going to have them again, but I promise you the
-
next thing is going to be way better here's but listen, but I
-
will establish my covenant solemn promise, formal agreement
-
with you. Hey, hey, people, some folks
-
won't be saved in this city until you accept the covenant
-
God's trying to establish with you.
-
There's some family members that until you accept the, the, the
-
promise and the, the, the agreement that he wants to make
-
with you, the call that you're avoiding is not just hurting
-
you, it's hurting them. Let let OK, OK.
-
I have people say tell me and my wife all the time.
-
Thank you for saying yes. What do you mean by that?
-
They don't mean old PT. You, my God.
-
No, what they're saying is man, God put something in you for me.
-
I've been to. This church, I've been to that
-
church, I've heard this speak, there's some amazing speakers,
-
there's some amazing churches, but somehow it seemed like God
-
customized what's in you and what's in this church.
-
Just for me. That's you too though.
-
But there's people that one day are going to say thank you for
-
saying yes. Then you got to go from yes to I
-
do. And you shall come into the ark.
-
You and your three sons. There it is.
-
And your wife and your son's wives with you.
-
It's going to keep right. You see at the bottom, I'm.
-
So you're just going to be stuffed there.
-
So the promised way is the valley way.
-
We just promise, promise, promise, promise, promise.
-
Valley. Woo, no, just promise.
-
The promise way is the valley way.
-
The valley way is the promise way.
-
Please don't get offended. Every act of God is a rebuilding
-
and a revealing of His image and likeness in you.
-
God is trying to get you back to where it started.
-
Don't be offended speaking on God's behalf.
-
I'm just trying to help. I'm just trying to help.
-
Yeah, it's hard. I'm just trying to help.
-
Yeah. I put leaders in your life that
-
will offend you. I put leaders in your life that
-
sometimes won't get it right. They going to get on your nerves
-
because you think you do it right and then you can know how
-
to do it and whatever. That's OK.
-
But they're my leaders and I've anointed them.
-
Touching out my anointed. I get it, but I'm just trying to
-
help. I moved a family all the way
-
from California, sunny old California, because I'm just
-
trying to help. I shut that door just because
-
I'm just trying to help. I yes, no, I know.
-
I get it. You're going to grieve for a
-
little while, buddy. But one day you're going to see
-
your name in a book. We're going to talk about you
-
thousands of years later because you were a part of of ushering
-
in the Savior of the world. You don't understand how your
-
piece is important to who God is trying to usher into this world
-
100 years from now. Somebody say he just trying to
-
help. These words I speak to you are
-
not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to
-
your standard of living. They are foundational words.
-
Follow it. These aren't just words.
-
The Bible is not just full of words that just make you look
-
good and make you feel good and just kind of ornaments for your
-
life. They're foundational words to
-
build a life on. I will build my right.
-
We sing that right. What you going to build it on
-
though? Up on your It is up, man.
-
We be singing some songs and then on Monday we just be like
-
slipping all over the place. Quicksand.
-
Words to build a life on. Words to build a life on.
-
I'm talking about words to build a life on.
-
If you work these words into your, if you work these words,
-
if you work these words into your life, if you work them into
-
your life, not read them every day and think, oh, I did my
-
daily devotional today. God move.
-
If you work the word into your life, how you deal in
-
relationships, what the words say, what the words say about
-
your enemies, what the words say about sex, what the words say
-
about marriage, what the words say.
-
If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart
-
Carpenter who built his house on what solid rock.
-
By the way, that's the title of the message.
-
On Wednesday nights, it's been. Really, really good.
-
You should come. Solid rock.
-
Rain poured down. You built it on solid rock, you
-
obeyed God. You're working the Word in your
-
life, but it's still storming. So obeying God is not to do away
-
with the storm. Obeying God does not exempt you
-
from struggle. The river flooded.
-
A tornado hit the obedient, but here it is.
-
Nothing moved. Nothing moved the house.
-
I don't know who I was telling. Man, man, just just some things
-
that have been going on in our family.
-
Man, man, you would never know. It's not you will never know
-
because I'm just hard and I just, I'm just so I'm so strong.
-
No, I'm not just so strong. Me not being moved don't mean
-
I'm not weak. It didn't say you won't be weak,
-
It said you won't be moved. Am I talking to anybody?
-
You trying to change weakness? You're trying to change
-
vulnerability. It didn't say you won't be
-
vulnerable. It said you won't be moved.
-
It didn't say you won't be scared that time.
-
It just said you won't be moved. Scared won't move you.
-
Fear won't move you. Doubt won't move you, That's all
-
you're you're going to have all these human experiences.
-
But I shall not be moved. And an immovable believer is a a
-
witness that the world needs, he said.
-
Why? Because he was fixed on the
-
rock, he. Didn't just read about the rock.
-
It was fixed on the right, your life was fixed on the right root
-
it. But if you I love this
-
Scripture, anytime you want to talk to somebody a certain way,
-
man, the message, just read the message and just emphasize
-
certain parts like, but if you just use my words in Bible
-
studies, just come to church. Sleep.
-
You just come to church for what?
-
What? You just use my word in Bible
-
study and don't work them until your life?
-
Look what they say. You are like a stupid.
-
You stupid. You are like a stupid Carpenter
-
who built his house on the sandy beach.
-
What kind of Carpenter? Stupid.
-
Look at your neighbor and say here it is.
-
Why are you stupid? Why are you stupid?
-
When a storm rolled in and the waves came up it collapsed like
-
a House of Cards. So wait a minute you mean to
-
tell me the ones that do it right Storm The ones that don't
-
do what he say Storm only difference is 1 going to be
-
standing through the storm the other one is going to collapse
-
and have to. Start over from scratch.
-
Which one you want to be. You see why you stupid?
-
Because you keep starting over. You keep on trying to build on
-
top of a shaky foundation that's built those sands and it and you
-
like the devil. Was it the devil or was it how
-
you build it? So then when God brings
-
architects in your life, when, when God brings apostles in your
-
life, when God brings prophets in your life, when he brings
-
Apostolic ministry in your life. I know it's hard, but if you are
-
in this house, God is trying to deal with your foundation.
-
And if he if God is calling you to build your foundation, he has
-
plans for a building that will not be moved, right?
-
This is why these cathedrals in Italy are still here, because
-
someone built on a solid foundation.
-
Here it is you ready and when you build right, you will invest
-
to keep it right and that's why some of y'all don't mind moving
-
from relation to relationship because you know you built
-
cheap. That's why it's so easy to get a
-
divorce, because you know you it was cheap in the 1st place.
-
You you found out you're. Cheap, cheap, cheap.
-
That's why you don't mind sleeping around, because you
-
don't feel like you not building you on quicksand.
-
You build you just like God to forgive me, you're right, He
-
will cheap. Then you go.
-
Try to get married after sleeping around and you're going
-
to wonder why your marriage is struggling because you've been
-
playing in the sand all your life and God loves you too much
-
to let you build something solid on sand.
-
God does not have to. He does not have to blow it
-
down. He's not the rude 1 you are.
-
You're rude. How rude is it that he has
-
blessed you with all he's blessed you with and you still
-
avoiding it? How rude are you that he went
-
through? Do you know what God went
-
through to get the Bible in your hand?
-
Do you know how many people died and was persecuted and stoned to
-
get the word in your hand? And you're going to go to some
-
YouTube false prophet, You're going to go read some book
-
that's not rooted in the in the word of God just to build your
-
life up. You know how rude you are.
-
Who's rude? It's like Christmas.
-
Who's interrupting? Who keep trying to paint over
-
that termite infested wall instead of letting God tear it
-
down? You're just like, what you
-
doing? Put it back, put it back.
-
I like my walls. It got character.
-
No, it got mold. We just going to paint the wall
-
Gray because we got molds or we going to paint the wall
-
camouflage the mold in. And you see, let me tell you,
-
when you see people starting off strong and it looked like they
-
got their life together and you're like, what?
-
Happened to them. So you just looked at the the
-
rooms they was building and the decor and you just looked at
-
their charisma, their lights and their aesthetic but you didn't
-
look under. This is why it's very dangerous
-
to just jump in a relationship. You're not doing foundation
-
check. Most of y'all getting married
-
because of what you see above ground.
-
And then you get married and you start you, you have no choice
-
when you get married to look at the foundation and now you under
-
the house and you in the basement and you're like, you
-
got roaches and termites. What is this?
-
Oh Lord, and you, here it is. You thought you could fix the
-
house. Tell me any people that's in
-
construction that when they come and inspect the foundation and
-
they see it's a bad foundation, they going to rebuild your house
-
on a bad foundation. You won't even get signed off
-
for that and you get in somebody life and you just like.
-
OK, you got a little attitude, little mental health issues.
-
You got a little right. He don't like the she don't like
-
the work. Look, some little slight anger
-
issues, just slight, just slight anger issues like OK, but he but
-
he he treated he took me out to dinner.
-
Eat bubble tea, bubble tea, bubble tea.
-
All right, guys, we're going to pick up on the message next
-
service. OK, God bless.
-
Give God a hand. Give God a hand.
-
Oh my God, somebody say bubble tea.
-
Help us, Lord. Help us, Lord.
-
Help us, Lord. Wow.
-
Amen. I hope you got something out of
-
today. Amen.
-
Hey, we, we will pick up and the next experience man, we about to
-
go like like I feel like a law. I felt like a lawyer, like I
-
pulled together a whole lot of spots.
-
God with like Jesus was rude, like really rude.
-
I'm talking about how he he was rude to his Mama a few times.
-
What, Like Jesus was rude, but was he like, like, like Jesus
-
wouldn't talk to you straight? Jesus get you ask him something.
-
He's just like, you know. Well, he give you a parable.
-
Well, the Kingdom of Heaven is neither coming from the north,
-
the South or east, or the West, but the Kingdom is within you.
-
He was really rude. Or was he, what was he trying to
-
teach and ignoring? What was he trying to activate?
-
Because whenever I see him ignoring someone, they took it a
-
little further and then he responded.
-
Some of y'all stop at the Some of y'all stop at not hearing God
-
and you don't understand that He's trying to woo you into a
-
level of desperation that will change your life, right?
-
And what the enemy want. These are the enemy's words.
-
This is your. Flesh.
-
This is your flesh thrown a tantrum and once you stop seeing
-
them as rude or inconvenience in your life or insensitive, like
-
we're going to look at let the this probably just was like, can
-
can I go make arrangements because my father's dying.
-
He's going to be dead any day, he said.
-
Let the spiritually dead bury the dead.
-
Where do you you're trying to say I can't go plan my daddy?
-
'S and you calling me spiritually dead.
-
I can't like like to follow you. I can't go plan my father's
-
funeral. We ask y'all to come to church
-
for extra. I'm going to give up bubble tea.
-
I'm going to give up a date. I'm going.
-
You want me to? Come to church.
-
On Wednesday, right after work. Hey, I'd like to set an
-
appointment for a wisdom session.
-
My life is just. Yeah, just Can you?
-
Well, how urgent? It's real urgent.
-
Man, you got 2 services, Sunday wisdom sessions, You got
-
Wednesday night wisdom session and then I'm unavailable.
-
Pastor, elders, are we? We out here, just like for the
-
vultures, we just out here. So if you know what you want to
-
talk about and not get get get go, go go into this feel sorry
-
for me moment and came up here with some legit just like, hey,
-
I'm coming to you. I'm standing on this.
-
Word. Here's the scripture I'm
-
standing on. I'm going through this thing in
-
my life. I need to ask, can you give me
-
some wisdom on this one question?
-
I need to know how to deal with a household that man.
-
It seemed like I'm trying to live right, But in my house,
-
man, there's people on drugs, there's people with this, I'm in
-
a marriage with this, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
-
blah. Cool, here's some wisdom.
-
Boom boom boom boom boom boom. Let me pray for you cool on top
-
of the hour message because whether you know it or not, when
-
God is speaking in this house, He has prepared a message for
-
what you're going through. He considered you today when we
-
wrote so rude, but you want him to give you a direct you want to
-
hear the details of what you going through.
-
God will always talk to you above your circumstance and by
-
the time you latch on to what God says you going to look at
-
your. Circumstance and be like oh,
-
that's too small. I was worried about that Lord
-
shift my worry. May we worry about what you
-
want, what you're worried about, what you care about, what you're
-
burdened for. That's why you say your burden
-
is yo yoke is light. Your we thank you for your word.
-
We will work your word into our lives and we will live to see
-
the fruit of it. Lord, you, you, you.
-
You saved us that we might have fruit that remains, and the only
-
way fruit can remain is on a foundation that remains.
-
So, Lord, we thank you today. Forgive us for being offended
-
with your word and with your request, with your commandments,
-
your suggestions, your word, your guidance, your leading.
-
Forgive us. We're throwing tantrums.
-
But maybe you're just more interested in your way than you
-
are our way. So may we be more interested in
-
your will being done as Jesus said, not my will, that for
-
generation to generation to generation, every generation
-
after us shall see the salvation of the Lord and we thank you for
-
it in Jesus name, Amen. Give God a round of applause and
-
praise. Yeah, that's good.
-
That's good. Let me get my phone really
-
quickly. Just a couple of announcements.
-

-
Yeezys. Wasn't Yeezys.
-
It's some really nice shoes over there.
-
Y'all OK? Don't call them Yeezys though,
-
OK? Just call them Adidas.
-
Here you go. I think I'm missing something.
-
I say it Wednesday nights. You can stand to your feet.
-
I say it Wednesday nights. Correct.
-
Oh, there we go. Really quickly.
-
Where? My phone.
-
OK, really quickly. Listen up, Elder John.
-
You did a fabulous job on the compel today.
-
Here's what I need. Here's what I need.
-
God has been very clear that this first building love quest
-
is going to pay for is is this is not about getting money
-
outside of our church. This first building for what God
-
is planning is our responsibility.
-
All fifty of us hundred of us 65200 whatever that's on you.
-
Come on, say it's on us. We are very, very close to
-
inspection. Electrical for the like 9598%
-
ran, plumbing ran. We are very close to inspection
-
within the next couple weeks. OK, We cannot stop at the finish
-
line. OK, Elder John told you we need
-
a $185,000. OK, listen up very carefully.
-
I'm going to break it down because that sounds real big for
-
you. I need 20 people today. 20
-
people. How many people between this
-
service and next service to give a minimum of $1000?
-
How many people? I need 20 people to give $500.
-
How many people together? How many people is that 40 to
-
give $500? Then I need 25 people to commit
-
to give $100. How many people 25 How many
-
people is that all together? 65 Then I need 50 people to
-
commit to $50. How many people is that?
-
75 + 40 is what? Huh?
-
What? Huh?
-
How many people is that 115? I knew that I had it written
-
down right here, 115 people. We have more than that at this
-
church, I believe between $50.00 and $1000 and and 115 people,
-
100%. That brings us to $35,000.
-
OK. What can happen if we do that
-
for five weeks, Five weeks? Number one, what if 100 people
-
in 100% of the people in here made their minds up today?
-
I will tithe for the next two months.
-
What is that? That's 10% of your earnings.
-
I will tithe if I make $500 a week.
-
I'm going to bring. $50.00 to the church.
-
That's, that's my tithe. 100% of the people tithe first and
-
foremost, OK. And then we need that special
-
group of people that will commit, believe, have faith,
-
push it through, sacrifice. And what would happen if we can
-
get these numbers, 115 people giving this over 5 weeks, now we
-
need 185. That's going to be $210,000.
-
So I'm not going to believe for 185.
-
I'm going to believe above and beyond that.
-
But there's people in here right now that can absolutely give a
-
minimum of $1000. Absolutely.
-
Now you might give 5, but I'm asking for a minimum.
-
There's absolutely 20 people in here that can give $500 today.
-
Absolutely 25 people that can give $50 today or $100 and then
-
50. Some people here 185.
-
Be like whoa, hold it brother. First of all, number one I need.
-
You to take 60 seconds. With me, and I need you to
-
believe with me that God moves on our hearts, starting with me
-
and my family. He moves on our hearts.
-
OK #2 I need you to be the answer to your prayer.
-
We will get to this building and everything changes for us when
-
we get in this building. God doesn't.
-
But I will say this, there's only so much excellence you can
-
have with a tent, with a garage. There's only so much excellence
-
you can have with children's church, with boxes and couches
-
and desks everywhere. There is a large amount of
-
people that do not consistently come to our church just simply
-
the way to set up is. They know when it's cold or they
-
know when it's raining. It's going to be people carrying
-
buckets and mopping up. Water off the concrete.
-
So for most of you, amazing that you don't let that deter you.
-
But some people, they want a children.
-
'S church for their kids and look a certain way, have a
-
certain aesthetic and functions a certain way.
-
OK, giving our children's ministry a bigger space fixed up
-
with paint on the walls and toys and all the stuff they need and
-
being able to split up the ages is very important.
-
None of that stuff. Can really happen till we get
-
there. So it's not.
-
Just getting in the building for Sunday.
-
It's also getting in the building so we can begin our
-
after school program and we can serve this community that we can
-
feed this community that we can have a kitchen that's big enough
-
for certain. Parts of hospitality to do what
-
it needs to do so our youth can have the building, so we can now
-
start subleasing and bringing in other events and things of that
-
nature because we have three buildings functioning.
-
At its highest function, so it's more than just less gifts.
-
So we can have a Sunday service. It's let's give so we can start
-
serving this community. And how many people know the
-
harvest is plenty, Amen. But the laborer sometime is not
-
just setting up chairs. Sometime the laborer is giving.
-
Amen. Put your hand on your neighbor's
-
shoulders. Take 60 seconds.
-
Pray for the seed to come in. Over these next 5 weeks,
-
starting today, 2020, 2550 you at home?
-
Yes, I'm the one you talking to Lord.
-
20 seconds. 10 seconds. Come on shout out from
-
generation to generation in Jesus name.
-
Have a wonderful day. God bless you.
-
