  1. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

  2. Church Podcast, where we seek to love all nations, equip the

  3. church, mobilize the equipped and serve all.

  4. We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

  5. you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

  6. your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

  7. some tea and get ready to receive.

  8. It's go time. Let's get into it.

  9. Give. God, some praise one time.

  10. You can be seated in the presence.

  11. Of the Lord. OK OK dot dot dot dot well if

  12. you haven't. Already you should go download

  13. the new single. Maybe you should go do that.

  14. That's called My God is able. And yeah, real good.

  15. Music. I would bet that it's for sure

  16. better than for sure. 75% of the people that's in your playlist,

  17. even you rockers or whatever genre it is, it doesn't matter.

  18. It's just you. This could be at the top of your

  19. playlist now. Now just a little secret.

  20. Why did I do my God is able? And then dot dot, dot dot

  21. because it's 5 dots. Dot dot dot dot dot stands for

  22. grace and #2 God seems to connect all the dots in your

  23. life. And so he's able so.

  24. When I look at my life. He's connected the dots.

  25. And so it's just. Dot dot dot dot dot dot and

  26. it's. Catchy, it's fun, and who cares

  27. what you think? Amen, right?

  28. It really doesn't matter. So.

  29. But if you need an explanation, I just gave you one.

  30. But what I do know is this has nothing to do with the message

  31. today. But Canada, you are primed for

  32. something big but are afraid of it, so it's.

  33. Kind of like let's. Go to the states because they do

  34. it big already. So let me just join big instead

  35. of pioneering it in a country that is waiting for courageous

  36. leadership, courageous leadership and courageous vision

  37. and courageous unity. And Canada, you have everything

  38. you need to impact and change culture across the world.

  39. But if we can get rid of the passivity, the insecurities, I

  40. just feel like this country is preserved for God.

  41. So it's almost like God is not allowing anything to gain

  42. monumental momentum unless it's started by his church.

  43. Like a people that don't need the world to pop.

  44. I just feel like it's not just. Open for anybody.

  45. I feel like it's the culture is is open for the church now in

  46. the states you see it it's happening specifically in pop

  47. culture in the church. God's paving some very cool

  48. unique ways. I just feel like, you know, for

  49. example, Lecrae came here a few years ago with Andy Mineo Grammy

  50. Award winners and the church was not a part of it.

  51. Not because of them. It's because the church is just

  52. like, so they get some club promoters and then barely sell

  53. it out because the church can't even pack out a club for a

  54. Christian artist. But heck of Christians went and

  55. saw what's that girl name Taylor Swift?

  56. See. You know what I'm saying?

  57. See, Taylor Swift sold out change the whole shape of

  58. economy the city streets blocked off have you ever asked yourself

  59. why a lot of. Christian artists or a specific

  60. type of Christian artist only comes to Vancouver.

  61. When, when the when, when this Vancouver looks like the globe,

  62. but the globe is not represented in the sound, then you're in a

  63. church who's trying to get the globe presented in the sound in

  64. the creatives. Do you support it?

  65. Do you really think you here just to be a bystander to

  66. culture or to actually do something about it?

  67. Maybe you're not on this stage, but what's on this stage?

  68. You can partake, you can empower, you can buy, you can

  69. stream, you can download, you can sell, you can partake.

  70. I promise you, the people that are having 500 million streams,

  71. it's not all evil people or worldly people streaming.

  72. A lot of the church is helping the world blow up.

  73. You're in here. We are helping the enemy and the

  74. enemy ain't helping us at all. But we like man.

  75. It just feels good though. It's just like whoa, it's just

  76. what everybody else is doing and I can relate to what they doing.

  77. We help darkness. Darkness never helps light.

  78. So the excuse can't be man. I don't listen to Christian and

  79. hip hop because it's cheesy true, some of it not mine, not

  80. scribe music, not not no it's you don't got no more excuse.

  81. The Christian market has is crushing it in every.

  82. Genre. Production is no long is no

  83. longer cheesy. The production, the engineering

  84. top, top notch. Forget me.

  85. I'm talking like like instrumentals, prayer.

  86. Music. Pop Rock.

  87. Hip hop worship, like pick any genre, there's no reason why we

  88. should be stuck at a few thousand or and then we helping

  89. all these people get rich. God has given us that we look,

  90. if you support the art that's coming out the church, we

  91. wouldn't even really have to have a remnant campaign.

  92. Here's what the Bible says. Well, I'm in debt, he says.

  93. Well, what do you have in your house?

  94. I mean, I don't know what you stream, but you could take some

  95. of these songs and maybe just listen to it maybe 10 times or

  96. at work you can listen to it or at your party.

  97. Listen, you know what I'm saying.

  98. Why does that matter? Because we're created the impact

  99. culture. And I heard something at the

  100. sight of my ear when Elder John, he said for God, so love the

  101. world. I didn't say for God, so love

  102. the church. Do you love the world how God

  103. loves the world? Or do you love the world how you

  104. need the world? Oh.

  105. For God so love the world he sacrificed.

  106. If you really love the world, what you willing to give up for

  107. it? Put my glasses on.

  108. Put my stunning shades on. Knowing what's happening because

  109. of God's hand versus the devil's hand is crucial to your prayer

  110. life. I'm here to tell 100% of you,

  111. You give the devil too much credit.

  112. He's not the issue. He's not really the one messing

  113. with your life. The devil's not why you're

  114. divorced. The devil's not why you're on

  115. alcohol. The devil's not why you smoke

  116. weed. The devil's not why you're a

  117. freak. The devil's not why you say

  118. addicted to to sex. Did he say freak?

  119. Yes, I did. The devil ain't the reason,

  120. right? You like sex, You like porn, You

  121. like marijuana, You like out. That ain't the devil.

  122. The Devil. Cannot mess with an obedient

  123. child of God. No, you doubt the word devil

  124. cannot mess. Mess with a convinced believer.

  125. As I said earlier, and I'm going to breeze through early.

  126. I'm asking please go listen to the beginning because I got to

  127. finish this today. OK?

  128. When you actually obey God, like you really walk with the Lord,

  129. you're not even concerned with the devil.

  130. Like why are we so concerned with the devil?

  131. It's always the devil, it's never us.

  132. And then and then y'all giving credit to God for stuff he

  133. didn't even do. You know that blessing you said

  134. that God gave you? No, you just went to work and

  135. you got paid and you saved up enough money.

  136. You know the money you didn't give for the remnant so you can

  137. get that thing. That was your hard work.

  138. It wasn't God, you know that. We, we blame God for people

  139. dying. You don't want to hear that,

  140. huh? Oh, God needed him, so he took

  141. them. No, God don't take nobody.

  142. He gives life. That's all he does is give.

  143. He didn't take them. He received them.

  144. He didn't take them within our inability to understand his

  145. sovereignty. We got to make make, we got we,

  146. we got to do this perverted thing and we got to say God is a

  147. well, if God is so much God, then why does he let this

  148. happen? Well, if you love God so much,

  149. why do you let that happen? You see.

  150. So our prayer life, our perception of who God is, our

  151. perception of what a blessing is, our perception of what

  152. church is, what we see is all from trauma, It's all from

  153. flesh. And if we don't correct it, it

  154. bleeds into our prayer life. And then we don't thank God hear

  155. us. So we don't pray right.

  156. We we got all these. Things in the lens.

  157. That you see through your perspective.

  158. That's why he says that transformation comes from a

  159. renewed mind, not just a person that reads right.

  160. When is your devotion? I asked this question that

  161. prayer the other day. When is what is the problem

  162. between prayer and power? How do you get from a prayer

  163. life to a life of power? Prayer is for power.

  164. God gave us prayer to see answers, not to question if He's

  165. there. So where's this big gap between

  166. prayer life and a power life? Just assume everybody got a

  167. prayer life. Why aren't you walking in power?

  168. That you ready to walk in power is for 100% of you.

  169. Now you ready. Walking in power is in Roche.

  170. Get a Baba blind eyes open. No walking in power is when you

  171. want to cuss somebody out and you actually don't.

  172. OK, OK, here it is. And then it moves from don't to

  173. not even being tempted to customize, right?

  174. There's there's levels to God's power.

  175. When is it going to be you? You got to fight temptation to

  176. where now you ain't tempted by it no more.

  177. See a life of power is not about about about cancer being healed.

  178. Like you get to a place where you trying to believe God to

  179. take away cancer but you couldn't believe him to even

  180. reconcile in a relationship. So how you got faith for cancer

  181. to leave but you don't got faith for a relationship to work?

  182. How you got faith how you all of a sudden going to believe that

  183. your child going to be raised from the dead or brought out the

  184. hospital, but you couldn't use faith to get off alcohol?

  185. By the time you reach Goliath, what did you do with the lion

  186. and the bear? You cannot make every problem

  187. you go through Goliath. It ain't Goliath.

  188. Come on, man. They broke up with you.

  189. That is not Goliath. They walked out.

  190. That's not Goliath. You couldn't go out with your.

  191. Friends tonight and, and, and because they can go eat at at,

  192. at a lease or at A at a really nice restaurant and eat and pay

  193. $100 for a steak and them being able to do it expose you not

  194. being able to do it. That's not Goliath.

  195. It's just not your time. Like, come on, you just can't

  196. hang out tonight at the. The steak house.

  197. But that's not Goliath. You're not poor.

  198. You're not going to lose it. You're not going to.

  199. I hate Vancouver. It's too expensive.

  200. No, it's not too expensive. You just can't eat steak.

  201. See to the. To the person living on the

  202. streets, Vancouver is not too expensive.

  203. It's a really nice place to live on the street.

  204. Like what are you going through that's?

  205. Just so bad and you ready. Some of you have your your

  206. crutches, your vices, what just. Going to.

  207. Bless somebody and then I'm going to get to it.

  208. I'm going to get to my stuff. Stuff, OK?

  209. Some of your vices, you use them because how you perceive a

  210. problem, not the reality of your problem.

  211. I'm going to say that one more time.

  212. I I smoked. Weed because of how I.

  213. Perceived life I I, I, I went out and drank because of how I

  214. perceived being raised by a single mom.

  215. My single Mama worked hard, she loved me and I was in a home

  216. that was loving. Although it wasn't a dad or a

  217. grandpa in there boy, the way them women loved me.

  218. I was not absent of love. I was a dad.

  219. Wasn't there, but love was. But how I?

  220. Perceived it, it excused me from discipline some of you are

  221. using. Your vices and your excuses is

  222. because of how you perceive the problem, not the reality of the

  223. problem. You ready?

  224. Here it is. Fear has become your excuse.

  225. It's really not your reality, it's your excuse.

  226. I'm scared it's too hard. They might not like me.

  227. I don't have the education. I don't have the voice.

  228. I don't have the time. No, it's how you perceive it.

  229. Please go listen to This Morning.

  230. I don't have time to do that part right there, OK.

  231. Genesis 7 we started off today's message is called so rude and

  232. God's response is Anne, now what you going to do?

  233. See when I say rude or when you think God is rude, whether you

  234. say it or not, 100% of you at some point thought God was rude.

  235. How your life was interrupted like something just happened

  236. quick and you like, Oh my God, rather somebody left your life,

  237. you left somebody's life, you got fired.

  238. Rather there's a fire rather whatever it may have been in

  239. your life, there was a there was an abruptness.

  240. There was a door that closed. And.

  241. Sometime there was a door that was opened.

  242. It was the only door, but it was the God door, but it wasn't your

  243. chosen door, but because God saw you at the place of desperation

  244. where you will walk through this door.

  245. Finally you, you ever worked that job because you was like, I

  246. can't find no job. This is the only one that's

  247. going to hire me. So I better take it.

  248. I better take it that that kind of thing so rude.

  249. And it's almost like it's like God, like like, like we get, let

  250. me put it this way, when you get an attitude with the leadership

  251. that calls you to what God's calling you to, you're getting

  252. an attitude with God. Hey, we're not doing church on

  253. Sundays. We're doing church every day.

  254. But rude because Sunday was church day for me.

  255. And then is the rest of the day slave slave day?

  256. What's them? What's the other ones?

  257. And you take that as all PT and love quest doing too much.

  258. What if you finally came around some obedient leaders who

  259. actually going to do what God say, not what your schedule

  260. won't? Have you ever been around

  261. obedient leaders? It look a little different than

  262. the ones you can make. By throwing fits, conform to

  263. what you need and want for your lifestyle.

  264. No, we're not going to do 90 minutes.

  265. We're not going to do a 75 minute.

  266. Service for you. Because you got to go or you

  267. don't have no attention span. We going to let the Holy Ghost

  268. have his way and we going to do our best to tell him to chill.

  269. So whenever that happens, right when that service go too long

  270. and you like, guess what you're saying rude, you're

  271. inconveniencing me. You've pushed past my limits.

  272. No, I'm not coming to midweek service.

  273. That's not for me. What is this your church home,

  274. right. If your home only has a back

  275. door, you're not going to call it you're not going to not call

  276. it home because it's only a back door.

  277. No front door. It's your home and you're going

  278. to use the door that that you can get in the house.

  279. So when you say a place is your church home, be careful because

  280. I tell some of y'all, y'all come here all the time and all you're

  281. doing is attending church. Because when you call somewhere

  282. your church home and we your pastors.

  283. Then what that means is when God uses us to call you to

  284. something, to equip you to something, then it's no, it's,

  285. it's, it's not a matter of what's convenient.

  286. It's like if I go play college basketball, I wouldn't even make

  287. it if I didn't. Listen to the coach.

  288. And some of you find places that's convenient for you.

  289. And if you read your Bible, that's not what He gave you

  290. leaders for. He actually gave you leaders to

  291. equip you to put an end to the wavering.

  292. Not the wavering of I'll only come to church sometime.

  293. No, the wavering in your soul. Some of you have been coming to

  294. church. Let me put it this way.

  295. Some of you have been Christians too long to still have a double

  296. mind. So you ready?

  297. Some of you have been Christian too long to still be debating

  298. and double dutching between the world and God.

  299. So why does he give you leaders and a church home is so you can

  300. get rooted to take the wavering out of your soul, not the storms

  301. out of your life. So so so rude.

  302. So we're going to look at Rude Jesus today.

  303. Wait, some of you right now, you would swear if Jesus came up

  304. here with a thorn on his head and he came in here like really

  305. like Jesus, if he walked up here right now, some of y'all would

  306. swear you would follow him. I'm here to tell you, you

  307. wouldn't. You know how I know you wouldn't

  308. how you doing with his word? Because that's him.

  309. How you doing with his? Scent.

  310. Leaders that he put in your life because that's him.

  311. He's showing up today in the gift of a pastor or or or

  312. evangelist. How you doing with what he sent

  313. and provided. But some of y'all think Jesus is

  314. like is like he's only the one that sits in your mess with you

  315. and just and you like Hey Jesus, I need some comfort.

  316. And he just like, OK, we like, hey Jesus, I need a job.

  317. He like OK, God, God, I need a man OK God I need healing OK,

  318. OK, I got you. Everything is what God need, you

  319. need and He. Going to bring it to you.

  320. So I'm about to just show you that some of the stuff you think

  321. Jesus care about, he actually don't in this old northern

  322. American Jesus that we have sold right, because some are you read

  323. Jesus doing stuff. But then when he sends leaders

  324. that kind of challenge you like he did, you're like, I'm not

  325. listening. What would you listen to Jesus?

  326. Let's let's look at this. Let's watch how like how crazy

  327. God he like he crazy. Look at this Noah.

  328. I need you to build this ark, and the only people going to be

  329. on the ark is you, your wife, your three sons, they wives.

  330. Then you're going to get a male and a female of every creature,

  331. every animal on the earth. Everything and everybody else is

  332. going to die. Your neighbor, your uncle, your

  333. cousins, they are going to die. But I'm calling you to be the

  334. sacrifice of a future generation.

  335. First of all, that sound crazy then.

  336. You going to ask me to build this big old thing?

  337. I ain't never built one of these.

  338. You going to ask me to do it before a flood coming?

  339. I ain't seen no rain. And then you going to give me

  340. some specificities? And you want the lumber this

  341. long, this wide? I ain't got no say in how it's

  342. built. God don't care nothing about

  343. your degree, don't care nothing about your experience.

  344. When God asks you to do something, no excuses.

  345. I don't know about you, but if God came to me right now and

  346. said, Terence, I want you to take your family, your wife,

  347. your three kids and this world is this city is sick.

  348. I am about to allow a flood to come and drown everything out of

  349. Vancouver. I need you to build a boat.

  350. I'm giving you X amount of time. Wait a minute, God, what about

  351. my Auntie Myrtle? What what what about my uncle?

  352. Like he's super dope. What about Uncle Willie?

  353. What about my Co worker? Like what about my best friend

  354. though? Like they he was my best man in

  355. my wedding. What about my boss?

  356. I was just leading them to Jesus like they were like, I know they

  357. took a long time, but they were here it is.

  358. And you don't hear God like I said what I said.

  359. But I don't see no conversation happening.

  360. What I do see is I see God-given instructions and hum, no wonder

  361. he picked Noah because he knew Noah wasn't going to give him no

  362. talk back. He was just going to obey man

  363. God to ask you to come to a night service and you want to

  364. question why some of us don't even get in a.

  365. Conversation with God. We just tell them no.

  366. The audacity. So Can you imagine?

  367. And then the Scripture goes on and says that Noah entered the

  368. boat with his family, the animals.

  369. And then it says God shut the door.

  370. He shut him in and he closed the door round about him.

  371. I want you to see something. Noah did not close the door, and

  372. because Noah didn't close the door, it does not mean he didn't

  373. finish the job. You ready?

  374. Noah did not need closure. Some of you can't start healing

  375. because you're waiting foreclosure.

  376. You're trying to end the chapter.

  377. And there's some chapters that don't need ending.

  378. God shut the door. Say God shut the door.

  379. Am I the only one in here that that, that, that God has done

  380. something? You OK?

  381. You may not have think saw it as God.

  382. Have you ever been in a place in your life where something ended

  383. abruptly? Have you ever been in a place in

  384. your life where it ended abruptly?

  385. And you was like, what the heck? Where'd that come from?

  386. Have you ever been? And I ain't see that coming.

  387. Here, you. You ready?

  388. Have you ever saw it coming but you was denying it was coming?

  389. Have you ever tried to turn a red flag green?

  390. Right. Stop changing the color of the

  391. flag. It's red, right?

  392. Yep. No, no, no.

  393. She crazy. But no, no, didn't like like I

  394. know like she would meet, she would a different, but she you

  395. know what I'm saying? We make excuse.

  396. You ready? You can't change nobody.

  397. Hey, hey, you ready here to hear this?

  398. You can't change nobody. That's that won't let God change

  399. them. The only way I can contribute to

  400. someone's change is if they're going to allow God to change

  401. them. Because all I can bring them is

  402. God. You.

  403. And you not going to make me your God.

  404. I've learned that lesson. I'm not going to see you disobey

  405. God, but you obey me. I'm not getting in God's way.

  406. Come on, tell somebody. Throw them over.

  407. Throw them over. Look, here it is now.

  408. This boat was really. Big and it's he told no.

  409. He said you go, you're going to make a window up top.

  410. Now it was three stories. No, it wasn't three stories

  411. tall. OK, So what you got to

  412. understand is when God closes a door or a season, he makes it so

  413. that the only person you can see or you need to focus on is him.

  414. He said you shall make a window. See, This is why you don't want

  415. God, like because it's expensive to disobey God.

  416. It's his pride. Say, have anybody ever got the

  417. receipt for disobedience? You.

  418. You. You ever.

  419. Got the receipt. I got the receipt, man.

  420. I got the receipt. You get the receipt.

  421. You ever get the receipt? You ever get the receipt?

  422. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sometime, sometime the receipt

  423. is kids, Sometime the receipt is is STD's.

  424. Sometime the receipt is is college tuition, Sometime the

  425. receipt is is drug addiction. Like somebody say it costs and

  426. you think following Jesus costs try.

  427. Following. Not even the devil.

  428. Try following yourself, he said. Put the window up top.

  429. I'm only putting a window in there so you can get some

  430. sunlight and some ventilation. Stop acting like you dying

  431. because. Something is over.

  432. Perspective. Perspective.

  433. Come on, It's another job out there.

  434. Amen, Amen. There's another city out there,

  435. Amen. There's another man out there,

  436. Amen. There's another woman out there,

  437. Amen. And then he said we going to

  438. make one door. Somebody say you are coming out

  439. of this. I love it because when God shuts

  440. the door, Annabeth, he it's only one door.

  441. Ain't no front door and no back door, no side though, because

  442. you didn't know how to choose the right door.

  443. You you don't do you ready? You don't do well with options.

  444. Somebody, somebody say options. Yeah, yeah.

  445. You don't do well with options. So you you hit a season where

  446. God chose for you and and you ready.

  447. God will always choose him. Here's God intent.

  448. I'm here to establish you and your family.

  449. Is it really that bad? God's trying to make sure you

  450. ready. Here's the crazy part.

  451. God is trying to make sure of what happened to you.

  452. God is trying to make sure of what you grew up in.

  453. God is trying to make sure your experience is not replicated in

  454. the future generation. So, so don't get offended when

  455. God shut the door. Somebody say shut the door.

  456. Somebody say shut the door. Every act of God is a rebuilding

  457. and a revealing of his image and likeness in you.

  458. God is trying to get you back to the garden.

  459. God. God's trying to get you back in

  460. the garden. That's what God's trying to do.

  461. If he was here Wednesday, you would understand that no born

  462. again being is still at the cross.

  463. Every born again being is resurrected.

  464. I'm a resurrected. Being that means I live from

  465. victory, I pray from victory, I talk from victory.

  466. I walk from victory. Somebody say victory.

  467. Matthew 7. We read this in the previous

  468. experience, but just the breeze through it.

  469. These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your

  470. life. You do not just come to church

  471. to get the Bible to say oh that's a nice cute verse or you

  472. use a scripture for a post. You got more scripture.

  473. Posted on your page than your heart?

  474. How about that one? How's the How's the algorithm of

  475. your heart? And you mad folks won't share

  476. your stuff, Have you? Have you ever asked why you in a

  477. season where God won't share you?

  478. This is all Bible. Too.

  479. He doesn't work in you, but he could share you to the world.

  480. So the only people you stuck really witnessing to is that

  481. stubborn family of yours who too familiar with you to even learn

  482. from you posting scripture. You probably ordered stuff from

  483. them Christian websites and got you a T-shirt.

  484. Got that worship hat? You got stickers, You got screen

  485. savers. Like, do you?

  486. This ain't your heart. What saved in here?

  487. Oh, we going to get somewhere. Come on.

  488. You can call me Rude right now. Go ahead.

  489. Rude. Thank you.

  490. That's OK. That's OK.

  491. Back home where I'm from, Emerson, somebody would be like

  492. your Mama or No, My wife would have said it.

  493. Amen. My wife.

  494. Hey, man. Jew.

  495. PJ. PJ.

  496. Hey, man. We.

  497. We've had that conversation. We're healed now.

  498. We're healed now. Hey, man.

  499. Hey, man. Hey, man.

  500. I grew up tough, man. I grew up tough.

  501. It was fun, though. It taught me how to battle back.

  502. You know, it's so funny because some of these young youngsters

  503. that try to try to clown me, I don't know what you call it out

  504. here. When people cap or clown or when

  505. they talk about me, they'll just come up on me like I'm just some

  506. OG pastor or something. That's just they just going to

  507. come up and say something crazy to me and then I clap back real

  508. easy. And you should see them.

  509. They like, whoa, yeah, don't try it, I'll go with you.

  510. It's all good. Yeah.

  511. I love Jesus, but we can go some rounds.

  512. Hallelujah. Amen.

  513. Don't mess with me. He said these words that I speak

  514. are not incidental additions. Here it is, he says.

  515. They're foundational, they're foundation.

  516. Can I help you? Why does God interrupt?

  517. Why did he? Why did he interrupt the world?

  518. And destroy it because he had to redo the foundation.

  519. So don't take it personal, take it as a blessing.

  520. God is saying I have inspected something in your foundation and

  521. I just need you to pause for a minute so we can redo a

  522. foundation so we can build something that can never be

  523. taken down. And some of y'all are too

  524. comfortable always rebuilding. Rebuilding is not glory to glory

  525. is glory. Oops, glory oops, glory oops,

  526. right. You then took two out and put

  527. oops in. No, it's glory to glory.

  528. It's faith to faith. It's stronger and stronger,

  529. wiser and wiser, he said. These words I give you are words

  530. to build a life on. People were building their lives

  531. before YouTube. They were building their lives

  532. before inspirational seminars. They were building their lives

  533. before the Bible was printed. They walked with God, he said.

  534. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart

  535. Carpenter who built his or her house on a what?

  536. Solid rock. Somebody shout out solid

  537. Wednesday night's message. We're teaching you how to live a

  538. solid life. I encourage you to come out.

  539. Even if you're late, come through, we have small group

  540. breakouts. You get to conversate with your

  541. brothers and sisters in the Lord.

  542. And then there's worship, and then there's the Word.

  543. It's powerful. Dynasty Wednesdays.

  544. Look look look, look, where's to build your life on?

  545. I will keep growing if they take every book out of every store.

  546. This book right here. This word right here is

  547. unfailing. If you work these words into

  548. your life, you are like a smart. Carpenter building on the side

  549. of it. Look, look, look, look, look,

  550. look. I'm just reading the Bible, OK?

  551. I'm not calling you names. But here we go.

  552. The river flooded. A tornado hit.

  553. Whoa. But nothing moved that house.

  554. Nothing moved that flood came. So the flood came and dealt with

  555. the soil of the house. No landslides in my house, but

  556. nothing moved that house. Tornado came, but nothing moved

  557. that house. It was.

  558. What it was no fixed. They thought they was right.

  559. Solid. Nope.

  560. Wrong. Come on somebody say fixed.

  561. Look, look here it is here it is.

  562. Don't take it personal is what the words say.

  563. But if you just but if you just use my words in Bible studies,

  564. you got notes. Some of y'all don't even take

  565. notes. What?

  566. Hey girl, let me get your phone. Let me get your phone number.

  567. You go to school, you got to take notes to pass that history

  568. class you ain't going to use for nothing.

  569. And then God is giving you stuff to build your life home and you

  570. just sitting here thinking you just so smart.

  571. You just got this expansive brain and you just going to hold

  572. everything that the devil is making sure he going to work

  573. overtime to make sure that you do not get back to the word

  574. release today. That by tomorrow, half the word,

  575. if not more is stolen from you and then you running through

  576. marital issues and life issues and business issues.

  577. But you came to Sunday. If you ain't going to let Sunday

  578. help you on Monday, what you're here for?

  579. Help this tall black man. Jesus I'm black what you talking

  580. about? It's an honest prayer.

  581. Please, Lord. In words in Bible studies and if

  582. you don't work them in your life, you are like a stupid.

  583. What does the word say? You are like a.

  584. Stupid Carpenter. You wouldn't even give your

  585. money to a stupid Carpenter who built his stupid house.

  586. On the sandy beach? Come on, say stupid carpenters

  587. build stupid houses. Like, hey, here's here's the

  588. thing. When you date and you don't look

  589. at no word, when you you pick your boyfriend or girlfriend

  590. based on their looks, based on their money, based on their

  591. smile, their charisma, based on their sex.

  592. And I ain't talking male or female.

  593. You basing it on all this other stuff.

  594. So you going to go for this, this little, this little model

  595. home and never inspect the foundation.

  596. And when you do get a glimpse at the foundation, you want to be

  597. like you can change it. You can't change nobody's

  598. foundation. That's they foundation.

  599. If God couldn't change it, who you think you is?

  600. Come on. Hey, say say win a win a stupid

  601. Carpenter. Give you a quote, it's going to

  602. be stupid. Believe the stupid Carpenter,

  603. but don't call him stupid to his face.

  604. Just know he's stupid. Look at your neighbors.

  605. Say run. Here it is.

  606. Here's what happened to stupid carpenters with stupid houses.

  607. When a storm roll in and the waves came up, I heard man, I

  608. heard a rapper. He he little Russell, he he he

  609. he was talking about hip hop and all in his bar.

  610. He said this line that. He said don't blame it on the

  611. rain, blame it on the roof. You blaming the storm when God

  612. gave you a chance to build a roof that can outlast the storm?

  613. When the storm rolled in and the wave came up, it collapsed.

  614. Collapsed. Nope, Nope, Nope.

  615. We can't do this right now, OK? We can't do this.

  616. I know I instigated it, but that's OK.

  617. OK, It collapsed like a House of Cards.

  618. Come on y'all, we trying to help y'all there?

  619. There would be a lot of living pastors if the congregants

  620. listened. There could probably be some

  621. saved marriages if the people that certain couples are called

  622. to to leave would listen. But I ain't going to.

  623. You ain't going to mess my marriage up or my life.

  624. I'm good. You don't want to listen.

  625. Guess what? You could be a stupid Carpenter

  626. all you want, but I ain't going to be stupid.

  627. I'm not going to be a stupid pastor.

  628. Hallelujah. Don't be mad.

  629. Don't be mad. You're going to be mad at Jesus

  630. in a minute. Watch.

  631. I'm about to show you rude Jesus in a minute.

  632. You think I'm being rude? Watch.

  633. Watch Jesus. Now look, is, is that really

  634. rude though? That's the question I got for

  635. you. Is it really rude though that

  636. God interrupted you from killing yourself?

  637. Is it really rude? Is it really rude that God

  638. interrupted your life so you didn't bring some kids in to

  639. your stupid? House You want to raise kids in

  640. a stupid house and then God interrupts you and you ain't got

  641. no kids. Praise God, because you would

  642. have raised stupid kids. Stupid Carpenter, Stupid house,

  643. stupid kids. Everything's stupid.

  644. Come on, somebody say you got some nerves, Jesus.

  645. This one of the messages you thinking about somebody that

  646. needs to be here and I'm going to tell you to share it with all

  647. the stupid people you know but do not tell them I'm sending it

  648. to you because you're stupid just.

  649. Send it to them. Come on, one more time, you got

  650. some nerves. Jesus, right then the dog up

  651. here listening to Raise. You raising dogs in stupid

  652. houses? And then you, and then you

  653. inviting friends over to your stupid house.

  654. We talking to Christians, though, we're not even talking

  655. about the world. The world ain't stupid.

  656. They obedient. They doing what the flesh

  657. supposed to do. They doing what darkness

  658. supposed to do. And they're doing what life

  659. looks like without knowing God. What's yours?

  660. Use the days of the lazy Christians should be over just

  661. how you approach the word, how you come in this house, how you

  662. listen. Stop listening lazy right,

  663. because you're a you're a Carpenter.

  664. You ready if you was if, if, if you was going to hire you in 10

  665. years and you know what kind of student you are, would you hire

  666. you knowing how you sat in class?

  667. OK, moving right along. Say you got some nerves, Jesus.

  668. Now real quick, knowing the correct password, saying master,

  669. Master, for instance, isn't going to get you anywhere with

  670. me. Oh, so knowing Christianese and

  671. knowing the language of being saved is not going to get you

  672. anywhere? What is required?

  673. Somebody say required? What does required mean?

  674. Required is serious obedience. Don't stop playing with your

  675. life. Stop playing with obedience.

  676. When God said change, he meant change now.

  677. When God said put the bottle down, he meant put the bottle

  678. down now. When God said be a husband, he

  679. meant be a husband now. When God said be a wife, be

  680. Mama, daddy, whatever what God said do do it now.

  681. Stop playing with your life. Some stuff ain't going to never

  682. get convenient till you make the first step towards obedience.

  683. See, me coming to church every week is not a matter of

  684. convenience. It's just now I'm so stern on it

  685. and solid on it. Everything around my life, it's

  686. built around obedience. It's not built around comfort.

  687. So it might start off if you don't.

  688. Want it? It's inconvenient to go to Bible

  689. study. It's inconvenient to give to the

  690. Remnant project, but watch how God builds around his word.

  691. How is obeying the one that saved?

  692. You inconvenient, he said, doing what the Father wills.

  693. I I can see it now. I can see it now at the final

  694. judgement. Thousands will be strutting up

  695. to me and saying, master we preach the message, Master we

  696. bash the demons, Master our super spiritual projects had

  697. everyone boasting. He must be talking about a group

  698. of people who think they saved and they deserve his clap.

  699. Master, look at what I did. I went to.

  700. Church every Sunday. Lord, remember the remnant I

  701. helped build that church. Remember that person I prayed

  702. for? I prayed for them.

  703. Look at all that I did. I was there at 6:00 AM slaving

  704. for your church. I set up chairs.

  705. I carried buckets through the tent.

  706. I mopped water on concrete. I Lord look I served in.

  707. Children's Church. Oh my God, look what he says, he

  708. said. You know what I'm going to tell

  709. you? You missed the boat.

  710. You miss what the whole purpose was about.

  711. Look what he says. All you did was first of all

  712. say. Rude.

  713. What do you mean? I casted out demons and you're

  714. going to be like, I missed the boat.

  715. I prayed for the sick and I, I prayed for the sick and I missed

  716. the boat. I gave into the remnant and

  717. helped build your church and set up chairs every Sunday.

  718. I missed the boat. Somebody say rude.

  719. Yeah, right. That's rude.

  720. He said here, here it is. You don't impress me one bit.

  721. That's what God said. He said you don't impress me one

  722. bit. He said you're out of here.

  723. Get it. That's that's what Jesus said.

  724. Now if a pastor came up here and was like, man, thank you for

  725. setting up chairs, but I heard you sleeping around.

  726. You missed the boat, buddy. This is why it's very important

  727. that we care for your souls more than your talent.

  728. So don't get offended when somebody say, Nah, you're not

  729. stepping up here because you're not healthy.

  730. No, you're missing the boat and health does not mean arrived.

  731. Are you actively renewing your mind and making changes and

  732. receiving accountability? If you don't like

  733. accountability, you ain't healthy.

  734. You don't impress me one bit. You're out of here.

  735. Somebody say rude. Luke 9 Here it is.

  736. Y'all ready? Jesus then turned to another and

  737. said come be my disciple. He replied someday I will.

  738. That wasn't Jesus reply it was a man.

  739. He said come be my disciple. The man like somebody, some

  740. people in here. He says someday I will Lord, but

  741. allow me first to fulfill my duty as a good son and wait

  742. until my father passes away. Lord, I want to follow you, but

  743. in this season I'm busy. I want to follow you, follow

  744. you. But in this season, I I'm busy

  745. with work. I have, I have a new

  746. relationship that you blessed me with.

  747. I followed you to get them, but I got to stop following you

  748. because I have them. Allow me first to fulfill my

  749. duties. Wait a minute, when God calls,

  750. he means now. And sometimes God will call you

  751. just to show you you don't want to go.

  752. Well you like. Well, I haven't heard the call

  753. yet. Here it is today.

  754. God's calling you. He sent me all the way from

  755. Oakland, CA. He's calling you.

  756. Well, God doesn't talk to me like that, OK, Well, you, Stu,

  757. you stupid you. Stupid look, look, look, look,

  758. look, look, look, look, look, look, look, he says he.

  759. He says until my father passes away.

  760. Jesus refused. Jesus said, uh, uh, but what you

  761. would think, Jesus? My dad's about to die.

  762. I. Actually need to go prepare his

  763. funeral. You would expect OK, no problem

  764. homie, Just like I'll be around the corner tomorrow.

  765. I might be down there at her house.

  766. She she missing the leg and then they they ran out of food down

  767. the street. So they need me down there.

  768. So I'm going to be around the corner.

  769. And, and just just just go handle business.

  770. And he said, look, your business is life, not death.

  771. Your business is to tend. To.

  772. Life, not death. Oh, you got 2 hours a day for

  773. this death. You.

  774. You got 30 minutes to watch, some for 5 minutes to watch some

  775. porn. Death.

  776. You, you, you, you, You, You, You, You, you, you.

  777. You. Got some time to smoke the

  778. Cathiba Death. You got time to let somebody

  779. know they didn't ticked you off and see cuss them out.

  780. You you got time to be codependent.

  781. You got time to believe for a spouse.

  782. You got time to please a lot of people.

  783. He said life is urgent. Announce God's Kingdom, let the

  784. dead bury the dead. One translation says wait a

  785. minute you you just going to tell me let them bury my father

  786. because he's pretty much already dead and follow you.

  787. I don't see Jesus repeating himself but but was Jesus really

  788. being rude or was Jesus calling him out?

  789. Some of you don't mind hanging out with toxic family and

  790. friends more than to come around.

  791. Life and you wonder why you drained somebody say rude or was

  792. it Matthew 9 says when Jesus came to the ruler's house, check

  793. this out y'all and saw the flute players they they was already in

  794. the music he was dead to them they were.

  795. Right, right. Can you imagine this?

  796. This is a young girl on her deathbed who were professional

  797. hired mourners. You know some of y'all

  798. professional grievers. You'll find anything to grieve

  799. about some of y'all. Hey, my, my, my homie from from

  800. elementary school who I haven't seen in 30 years.

  801. He died. Man could I take off work.

  802. Some of y'all got relationship with people that people don't

  803. know they're in. Relationship with you.

  804. You ain't seen them in 10 years. What kind of relationship you

  805. got? Now all of a sudden you're going

  806. to the funeral. See Jesus?

  807. No, look, look, he said. Who?

  808. The mourners? Look, look, look.

  809. And and the grieving crowd making an uproar she's dead.

  810. Here it is. He said go away.

  811. Jesus came into the crowd. They're grieving aunties are

  812. grieving their niece and father is grieving his daughter and

  813. grandparents are grieving their grandchild.

  814. And Jesus said get out. Then they laughed at him because

  815. Jesus is like she not dead and some of y'all rather sit there

  816. and cry. Then to follow someone who going

  817. to lead you in faith so you get offended when somebody not

  818. patting you on the back instead of realizing God sent somebody

  819. to get you out of the pit. Show you what?

  820. A faith life. Look like so you can walk in

  821. victory. And they laughed and jeered at

  822. him. But when the crowd had been sent

  823. outside, Jesus went in and took her by the hand and the girl got

  824. up. See, if God does not kick doubt

  825. out, then faith can't come in and things can't be resurrected.

  826. So sometimes God is getting you out of some of these

  827. relationships. Those people that need you.

  828. Some of you are in relationships because they really made you

  829. feel like you're doing a good job in their life, but you've

  830. been telling them the same thing for five years.

  831. But somehow you serving them makes you feel worth something,

  832. so you can't stop letting them drain you.

  833. But you tell somebody else about how much they drain in you.

  834. That cousin. Look, family don't mean you got

  835. to get your peace away. No family ain't you.

  836. My son or wife or husband ain't a license to steal my piece.

  837. No, that ain't the devil. That's and that ain't your

  838. husband. That's you.

  839. They've been getting on your nerves the same way for five

  840. years. Who fault is that?

  841. That's you. Ain't the devil, ain't God,

  842. That's you. And maybe your transformed

  843. response will bring transformation in their lives

  844. because familiar spirits the way you respond and is keeping them

  845. right there. But if you maybe stop caring

  846. about they little funky attitudes sometime they only got

  847. to face God instead of trying to defend themselves from your

  848. response. So y'all just trigger each

  849. other? God's like get all the doubt out

  850. and let me do what I came to do. I don't care how much y'all

  851. crying, some of y'all let tears control you.

  852. All it takes is some tears to manipulate you back into a

  853. situation. Somebody say rude or was it?

  854. Look, a Gentile woman who lived there came to him pleading.

  855. A Gentile woman came. What pleading?

  856. Come on, say what pleading. Have mercy on me, O Lord son of

  857. David, for my daughter. She gave them all the knife.

  858. The the, the the. Accolades and all the

  859. credentials O son of David O Lord Jesus let us die for my

  860. daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severe You

  861. ready for this Jesus Y'all just think Jesus love casting out

  862. demons. So I'm just about to come to

  863. Jesus because he in the casting demon business out and the devil

  864. just tormented my family watch this watch this watch this watch

  865. this she came Lord the David son of Jesus father Abraham got many

  866. sons. My daughter's possessed right.

  867. You would think that Jesus, that you, you think you know.

  868. He's like, oh daughter. Where is she?

  869. What's this? But Jesus gave her no reply.

  870. Oh, I haven't heard from the Lord.

  871. Oh, God didn't move fast enough. Look at this.

  872. Not even a word. He didn't give her a word.

  873. He didn't give her a he gave her no energy.

  874. He's not moved by your urgency, your emergency or your feelings.

  875. Somebody say rude. This is very rude.

  876. Then his disciples here's here's here's how his disciples

  877. responded. Hey, hey Jesus, send her away.

  878. Tell her to go away. They said she is bothering us

  879. with all her begging. Let me, let me make this

  880. practical. I'm going to be, I'm going to be

  881. somebody that's real with you. Some of y'all come to church

  882. begging and weeping and crying all the time, but you don't want

  883. to obey the word that grieves the Holy Spirit.

  884. Yeah, yeah, keep needing prayer because you need to operate.

  885. You need to learn how to operate from the glory too, not the

  886. glory. Oof, right.

  887. You just come to church and have the same old sad story all the

  888. time and oh, God, and Oh no, no, no, that grieves the Spirit

  889. because you're he's giving you the medicine.

  890. You not taking it, but you complaining that you're getting

  891. worse or nothing's changing, not even the word.

  892. Then the disciples are just go. Away she's begging.

  893. Are you ready? Prayer.

  894. Obedient children do not beg, especially for stuff that God

  895. already gave him. And Jesus said to the woman,

  896. Look, I was sent only to help God's lost sheep, God said.

  897. I didn't feel time to get help. It's Old Testament still, and

  898. that's a story within itself. But here he is.

  899. But she came and worshipped him, pleading again.

  900. She kept on. She was resilient.

  901. He said. Here it is.

  902. You were. You thought he was rude.

  903. Watch this, Annabelle, he says. Now he's talking to her.

  904. It isn't right to take food from the children and throw it.

  905. She's at her worst and he calls her a dog.

  906. Rude. Thank you.

  907. Right see some of y'all don't want to look at Jesus this way

  908. and there's story after story after story after story.

  909. You can look at it as rude or you can say what is he doing by

  910. ignoring her because if you keep reading the story she doesn't

  911. give up. And he says, man, I ain't seen

  912. no faith like. This her faith, although it

  913. wasn't her time, move God out of time and see see see like

  914. there's this principle that God is not ignoring you.

  915. He is trying to burst this hunger for Him.

  916. And some of y'all don't want to keep praying because you want

  917. God to just move. But God's not interested in what

  918. you're interested in if what you're interested in is greater

  919. than He. And some of y'all want a job

  920. more than you want a relationship with God.

  921. Some of y'all want your spouse to change more than you want to

  922. change and be who God called you to be.

  923. So you've made an idol out of your spouse's issues?

  924. Super rude. Watch this.

  925. I'm just about to watch this. Jesus ignored blind Bartimaeus.

  926. Blind Bartimaeus here he is. Jesus son of David, have mercy

  927. on me. And they were like quiet down

  928. bro rude. And it said he cried out the

  929. more Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me.

  930. Jesus is ignoring him the whole time.

  931. But here's another story. Right.

  932. This thing in the green is kind of what's going on in your mind.

  933. If this happened, maybe my healing is not for me today.

  934. I don't know why healing is for them but not for me, but blind

  935. Barty May is. He cried out the more loud and

  936. what happened? Jesus say whoa there is

  937. desperation in his frequency. He really wants me.

  938. Some of y'all have no desperation in the frequencies

  939. of your prayer. You just want God to get you out

  940. of something. But does your life change show

  941. how much you really want God. He ignored blind Bartimaeus.

  942. Here it is you ready? Starving the flesh births

  943. desperation for God and God alone.

  944. Maybe The thing is not for me, but maybe God is for me.

  945. Have you ever thought about the thing you're waiting for is not

  946. the most important thing? Mark 8 Look at this blind man,

  947. begged him to touch him. They brought him a blind man and

  948. said, touch me. Watch this.

  949. He caught the blind man by the hand, took him out of the city

  950. again. Getting rid of doubt, getting

  951. rid of all the attention. Do you want to be healed or you

  952. want it how you want it, when you want it?

  953. Man, I've had somebody. You want to believe this?

  954. I had somebody who was possessed by some demons.

  955. You going to come to me and tell me and my wife and the elders?

  956. No, I want to do this privately. Or they was like deal with me

  957. aggressively. You want deliverance or you want

  958. to dictate if you can tell me how to deliver, you deliver

  959. yourself because I'm not the one that delivers in the 1st place.

  960. But look at what Jesus did. The Bible says what he blind

  961. right? What did the Bible say Jesus

  962. did? Read it.

  963. He he what? Come on, talk to me.

  964. Right blonde, you ain't seen since you ain't never seen

  965. before. Jesus spit on your face.

  966. Who going to get an attitude in here?

  967. Right. He spit on your face.

  968. You going to be too? Do you want to see?

  969. But what if receiving your sight?

  970. Jesus says you got to get a little mess.

  971. It got to get a little messy. 1st.

  972. What if he had to interrupt your life?

  973. You're in a mess right now. He didn't spit in your

  974. situation, but you're about to walk in the clarity that you've

  975. been waiting for. Say that's rude.

  976. Say that's rude, right? But if you see in the green that

  977. sometime we say that, he's spit in your face.

  978. He's like, I didn't ask for all that though.

  979. God, no, you didn't ask for that.

  980. You asked to be free. Now you want to tell him how you

  981. want to get free, right? It's like asking for a husband.

  982. You he bless you with one. And then now you want to change

  983. your mouth. Somebody say rude.

  984. Look at this. He told he told the rich ruler,

  985. you want to follow me? What do you tell them?

  986. Sell all your stuff. Oh, what if God's asking you to

  987. lay some stuff down, right. Elder John, come up here.

  988. Remnant project. You're like, oh, here it is

  989. again. Rude.

  990. Always they always want to rude. Wait a minute.

  991. You just said follow God, so God saw it fit for you to sow a seed

  992. to open the door you prayed for. We never heard of this guy

  993. again. God said you want to follow me,

  994. sell all your belongings, give it to the poor.

  995. He didn't say you'll be broke all the days of your life.

  996. Member Perspective How did you hear Jesus when he gave

  997. instructions? Some of you say it shouldn't

  998. take all that The disciples saw Jesus sleeping in the storm.

  999. He said you don't care about us because you got all that peace

1000. over there. We over here about the drown

1001. with attitude. Oh, you don't.

  1002. Care. About us.

1003. You know that person you call them with they frantic and they

1004. think you don't care because you're not flashing?

1005. You ever had them people in your life who think you don't care

1006. because you're not freaking out like them?

1007. Oh, you don't care about what I'm going through See in the

1008. green, that's us. Jesus sleeping you like I don't

1009. hear no answers. He must not care about me.

1010. Oh, he turned over tables rude. You going to mess up our whole

1011. little display? We got we just set these booths

1012. up. We got banners everywhere.

1013. We making money and you going to make a mess out here?

1014. You really going to mess up my life, huh?

1015. And disrupt and turn up. Yeah, Jesus turned up.

1016. He called them foolish. Can Jesus call you foolish

1017. without you getting offended? And I'm giving you scripture

1018. references, so you go check it out yourself.

1019. No, it's quiet in here in this little Pentecostal church.

1020. He tells this woman you got 5 husbands.

1021. Some of y'all be like, ah, stop right there, Sir.

1022. But but wait a minute. It started off with him saying

1023. can you give me some water? But then you turn around and say

1024. it ain't my like we ain't even supposed to be together and

1025. you're going to ask me to get you some water and then you're

1026. going to be rude. And I told you I got I don't got

1027. a hug. He like you right you got.

  1028. Five. I got 5 on it.

1029. Nope. And then in the green, that's

1030. how that's you're saying you see these statements.

1031. It's funny because I'm sitting here studying.

1032. I'm like writing these statements.

1033. I'm hearing us. I'm hearing this all.

1034. And Jesus going to tell you. Jesus is going to expose you

1035. like the man of God or the woman of God.

1036. You're going to act like that word wasn't for you today.

1037. So you going to say how you just going to assume that?

1038. Jesus, I know you're right, but how you going to assume that

1039. here it is? OK, take Jesus out of it.

1040. Let's see God do it through the this brother, this woman getting

1041. ready to go die with her son. She got a little bit of bacon,

1042. bacon powder left. She got a little bit of little

  1043. bit. Look.

1044. See. Give me some water and break me

1045. off that last slice. Somebody say rude.

1046. How many of y'all would be prepared to die, have a little

1047. one slice of cake left you about to you about to die, eating your

1048. favorite chocolate cake and then God sends a man to God in your

1049. life. You think it's about the cake

1050. and God sent someone to save your life and some of y'all are

1051. holding on the petty stuff? And you and you and you and you

1052. willing to forfeit your. Life to have a slice.

1053. Look, look, look, look, give me some water, he said.

1054. Why you going? Give me some water and give me

1055. that last slice. I hear, I said.

1056. That's not at all going. To help my situation, Sir, just

1057. let me die in peace. Some of y'all really talk to

1058. God. He'll ask you to do something

  1059. ridiculous. He's like, that's not really

1060. going to help me. God.

1061. You think you know better than God what's going to help you

1062. out? Yeah, he tells Peter.

1063. I've allowed the devil. He came to me and he wants at

1064. you. And I told the devil.

  1065. Sure. So I'm here.

1066. I'm here to tell you, Peter, the devil's going to come.

1067. I'm letting him through. He's coming to sift you like

  1068. wheat, buddy. Hold on.

  1069. I pray. I'm Nope.

1070. Nope, Nope, Nope. I'm praying your faith does not

  1071. fail, right? Nope.

1072. You've been going to church. You've been reading your words.

1073. You got your divos. You go to your small.

1074. Group. You got the faith, right?

1075. So we're about to go through a proving season and let's see

1076. your faith. So I've allowed the devil to

1077. come to come prove you. Hey, you ready?

1078. A part of God protecting you is allowing the enemy to prove you.

1079. You ready. They do not let a car on the

1080. street that they built. They know they built a safe car,

1081. but you cannot certify it until it's proven.

1082. Can you imagine Peter? Some of y'all go to a different

1083. religion. Like this Jesus ain't real he

1084. about to just let the devil do and just be at me like that.

1085. He was like what you doing look at look at what some of y'all

1086. say. How you going to say you love me

1087. Jesus, but let the devil do that to me?

1088. He go Peter again out all night fishing G say hey Pete I know

1089. you just wrapped you just rolled up your net you ready to go

1090. cabin nap you disappointed you didn't catch nothing tonight.

1091. You going to go home wifey going to be like where the fishies He

1092. like baby. It was a bad day today had no

1093. fishies today. He said let me let me borrow

1094. your boat. What that got to do with me?

1095. Let me borrow your $10. Hey, give that. $100 to the

1096. Remnant project. Hey, lay that relationship down

1097. for a seat. Can I borrow him for for a

  1098. season? Can I borrow?

1099. Can I get my son back for a seat?

1100. Can I get my daughter back for a season?

1101. And what did Peter do here? Sir, you can Peter be learning

1102. some lessons. He's like, yes, Sir, you can

  1103. have a boat. OK.

1104. And Jesus preaches a long sermon.

1105. You know, I'm not the only one playing long sermon, OK?

1106. I get it from I get it from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  1107. Hallelujah. Don't be mad.

  1108. I'm I'm like Christ. I'm Christ like Hallelujah.

1109. And he says thank you for allowing me to use your boat.

1110. Take the boat out. For a minute.

1111. He let Jesus. In his boat to use it for his

1112. purpose. And then Jesus took his boat and

1113. blessed his family. Something that started off

1114. seemed rude, inconsiderate. You don't care how tired I am.

1115. You don't care that it was a barren season out there on the

1116. water. And then you going to ask me to

1117. go back out in a discouraged sea?

1118. You, you asked me to go back. Now see some of y'all think that

1119. God is just trying to totally remove you from something and

1120. God's saying no let me have it for a season so that when I take

1121. you back. To it, it will be.

1122. Fruitful how I planned. We're here like Peter, probably

1123. some of y'all. Jesus said.

1124. Sorry, but you don't know what you talking about, Jesus, You're

1125. not a fisherman like me. There's nothing out there, Sir.

1126. I gave it everything. I went to school, I tried that

1127. relationship, I tried this, I tried that.

1128. I really gave him my all Jesus and he said like drop it one

1129. more time, try it one more time, apply one more time, repent one

1130. more time. Go back to that relationship

1131. that you ready. Some of y'all don't go back to

1132. that relationship. OK, that's my word today.

  1133. I'm going back. That's my word.

  1134. I receive it. I receive it.

1135. OK, couple more mysteries and parables.

1136. Jesus never really told you straight up what was up and some

1137. of y'all y'all talking about y'all want to hear God but you

1138. well. You want him to say go left?

1139. No. Jesus did not just go left, go

  1140. right. No.

1141. You going to go to a city and there's going to be a woman

1142. there. Jesus, there's heck of women

1143. there. Hey, you're going to go to in

1144. town, you're going to see this donkey tied up on the gate and

1145. if somebody asks you what you doing with a donkey, tell them

  1146. Jesus needed y'all wouldn't. Follow Jesus, I promise.

1147. Right? Some of y'all like Jesus.

  1148. Come on, I need a sign. I need a wonder.

1149. Just shoot straight. Why I got to do all this

1150. searching? And guessing and waiting and

1151. believing and trusting and unraveling mysteries.

1152. Wait a minute, here go Peter again.

1153. He's trying to help Jesus from being utterly destroyed.

1154. And Jesus looks at his friend and say get behind me Satan.

1155. Somebody say rude. I am trying to help you and you

1156. going to tell me? Get behind me, Satan.

1157. Here it is. Here it is some of y'all you

1158. would have told me you'd have lost your mind.

1159. I'm trying to help you out Jesus.

1160. I'm trying to look out for you and you going to call me Satan?

1161. Here it is. You ready?

1162. He didn't call Peter Satan. He was talking to the spirit

1163. behind Peter that was causing Peter to see through his

1164. carnality. And not see Jesus purpose.

1165. He didn't understand that Jesus actually had to go through what

1166. he was going through. So he was saying ah you ready

1167. for this? Satan can even use my loved ones

1168. if they don't understand what's on me, they aren't thinking

1169. about where they're guiding me. And some of y'all love people

1170. that can't see the anointing on your life guard the anointing.

1171. Somebody say rude, rude. See his parents, his brother

1172. left his parents. I don't know about you, but

1173. where I'm from, if I left from where my parents was and they

1174. had if my Mama had to walk several hours back to find me

1175. and then when she found then when she found when she walked.

1176. You know that look when you get lost or you do something or your

1177. Mama walk around the corner and you like.

1178. Look, we have been worried sick over not finding you.

1179. Why would you do this to us? You should understand our

1180. concern, Jesus said to them. Why would?

1181. You need to search for me. You know, if I told my Mama what

1182. you trip and fall, Can you imagine spanking?

1183. Jesus. Didn't you know it was necessary

1184. for me to be here? Oh man, look, Jesus mother and

1185. his brother came where Jesus was teaching, but they couldn't get

1186. through the crowd. It had gathered around him.

1187. This is like if one day when Love quest is packed around the

1188. corner, there's no room in here. It's overflow.

1189. My mom show up to the church and Deacon Rodgers like.

1190. Let me go. Let me go tell your son you out

1191. here and then I say Deacon like yo-yo Mama and your brother here

1192. pastor. OK, your mother here, she wants

1193. to speak to you and I tell Deacon Roger to go tell Jesus,

1194. told the crowd. These who come to listen to me

1195. are like my mother and my brothers.

1196. They're the ones who long to hear God's words and put them

1197. into practice. He ignores his Mama is outside.

1198. See some of y'all have given family license to just be be

1199. stupid as a family. And Jesus says my real family is

1200. the ones who actually do my father's will.

1201. Some of y'all spend way more time with people who out of

1202. God's will than the people who God has called you to to be in

1203. his will with, Jesus said to his mom.

1204. And she said, hey, hey, they ran out of wine, son.

1205. Jesus said woman, what does your concern have to do with me?

1206. He says my hour has not come yet.

1207. He, he, he and then he goes on. He says leave it to me, his mom.

1208. Came and said, can you bless these people?

1209. He said. Why is that your concern?

1210. Jesus preaches everyone's in all.

1211. Of his words he like. Wow, he's anointed.

1212. Who does he think he is? Isn't that Joseph's son?

1213. You ready? He said to them, you will no

1214. doubt quote this proverb to me position, heal yourself.

1215. Whatever miracles that we heard were done by you and Kaepernick,

1216. they're applauding him and he says you going to reject me so

1217. you can go and be flattery to Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

1218. And then you wondering why he's still correcting you and you

1219. like, but I worship you. Why you being so harsh?

1220. Why you cut off that situation, why you didn't save it, why you

  1221. didn't preserve that relationship.

1222. The woman at the well, there's so many situations where Jesus

1223. is like constantly caught. He knows what's best for us.

1224. I'm going to have to pick this up next Sunday, but man, we have

1225. made Jesus to be out to be this just person we can run over.

1226. It's like we. Can act however we want to act,

1227. then go and make a request and then be mad when it ain't

1228. answered. And what we call a answered

1229. prayer is merely God's facilitating promise.

1230. He's not doing anything new per SE.

1231. He's given us everything that we need and and us N Americans have

1232. made Christianity a joke. And one thing I love about this

1233. church is because we have fun. We like shout and we, we, we

1234. dance. We know how to do all of that.

1235. But it's these sobering messages right here that really brings

1236. transformation. It's when we got to sit here and

1237. really be like, man, I like my. Christianity is really a joke.

1238. I'm about to leave this rich word today and what am I about

1239. to go get involved in until next Sunday?

1240. Can't wait to get back to next Sunday.

1241. One service and then live. Six days out there, when God

1242. forgot to love the world, he gave his only son to die for me.

1243. Then Easter comes, we dress up and celebrate, and then we go

1244. back after Easter, we go back after Christmas and we live

1245. these bland lives as believers and we want somehow.

1246. God to reward us and let us play with the world, play with our

1247. flesh. And you know what's at the

1248. expense your witness, some of you in here bring a lot of.

1249. Confusion to your friends. But you say you're a believer.

1250. But when they hear your mouth, when they see your attitude,

1251. when they see how you go through storms, when they see your

1252. double life, you might just think you having fun.

1253. But somebody that moment with you is life or death because

  1254. they're making a a decision, they're making a summation.

  1255. They're they're, they're drawing a conclusion of who Jesus is and

1256. what he allows to follow him. And This is why.

1257. Jesus didn't give you no soft answer when he put a he says

1258. this is is he really saying don't care about your father

1259. dying or is he trying to point to how much it cost to follow

1260. him and some of y'all make following Jesus some of the

1261. cheapest commitments ever. I don't got to be committed to

1262. church nothing but one service a week and some of y'all hearing

  1263. like. Oh, you beat.

1264. Me up. No, no, no, no, no.

1265. Remember, we just read about Rude Jesus.

1266. So this is the word I'm only. Speaking to you.

1267. Don't forsake the gathering of the Saints, the gathering, the

1268. gathering, the ongoing gathering from giving to serving to being

1269. that giant out there in the world, in the culture so the

1270. culture doesn't consume you, to forgiving, walking in love, to

1271. not living the life of the flesh, to not living double

1272. minded, lukewarm. It's what he tells you and and

1273. all I could do is, is, is spend some time with you.

1274. And even if. We're going 30 minutes longer,

1275. an hour longer. Guess what you going to do?

1276. You about to go Monday through Saturday and not come back till

1277. next week and you about to sit at work for 8 hours to get some

1278. money to pay some. Bills.

1279. And you ain't going to say nothing about going to work so

1280. somebody cares about you enough to push past your comfort zone

1281. and your limitations to tell you man, in this hour being a

1282. lukewarm. Christian is not cute.

1283. This city is one of the most most toxic cities in the world.

1284. No you America, no Vancouver. And guess what God's answer is

1285. to the city. His local church.

1286. I'm crying out to you, stop playing whoever this is for.

1287. Lukewarm Christianity is not cute.

1288. A storm is coming and how you last in the storm will expose

1289. your foundation and your church attendance won't stand.

1290. The excuses over and being on fire.

1291. For Jesus is not because there's a whole lot of people we went

1292. and jumping around and and lukewarm being on fire for

1293. Jesus, not talking in tongues. There's a whole lot of.

1294. Cussing tongues. It's about at the end of the

1295. day, man, put all that religious stuff aside is like, are you the

1296. real deal or what? That's the question I got for

1297. you. What are you willing to pay?

1298. I don't know about you but the real Jesus saved my life and

1299. where I was from and what what what God has brought me from.

1300. I owe him my life. And when you put it in

1301. perspective that one thing you want to cling to ain't worth

1302. what he let go of to be with you.

1303. And I'm not here just to fill seeds.

1304. Trust me these this church is going to be filled with people

1305. who hungry for God. But I've never.

1306. Been raised in a lukewarm church.

1307. Ever always been raised around accountability and I praise God

1308. for pastors who kept it straight and real with me.

1309. But lukewarm. Thank you, double life, thank

1310. you. I don't know why we skipped from

1311. holy to go to so rude. We ain't picking this up past

1312. next week at most, but I do believe this message was an

1313. interruption. Because this, this message is

1314. pretty practical. Like God, at the end of the day,

1315. thank God he's interrupted our mess.

1316. There's some stuff I know I would have kids with, some folks

1317. that I would not be with right now if he didn't interrupt my

1318. life. When are you going to celebrate

1319. that he snatched you out of a pit instead of complaining about

1320. you? What, you missed that thing or

1321. you missed that thing? Do you know the joy if you can

1322. see five years from now where you would have been if he didn't

1323. interrupt your life? I don't know who this is for,

1324. but there's a cry in my soul. Stop.

1325. Playing his mercy, his grace, it's real.

1326. And some of you in here are playing with your life and

  1327. you're playing with other people's life.

1328. You have not been saved from that.

1329. Car accident from that mental illness, from that drug

1330. addiction, from that alcoholism, from that demon possession, from

1331. that child abuse. You haven't been healed from

1332. that molestation, so you can stay parked at lukewarm come

1333. out. It's not worth it.

1334. And as much as we say in the bus is left and shoulder season is

1335. over, there's still a cry that I'm picking up from heaven.

1336. And God does not want to leave you behind.

1337. He's really trying to break these cycles in your bloodline

1338. and the Father that you're mad about, you're just becoming.

1339. Just like him, but in a different version of him.

1340. You're still bringing the same abuse.

1341. It's just emotional, not physical.

1342. And the way the devil stays in generations and in bloodlines,

1343. he changes his mask. And you think you not like your

1344. Mama? You think you not like your

1345. daddy. Oh, you go to church more than

1346. them. But are you working the word in

1347. your life? Not just working attendance.

1348. Why do we have to squeeze attendance in?

1349. Why do we have to? Why is?

1350. This why is God just? Battling for your attention,

1351. your time. Get it over with.

1352. Gathering with the Saints is biblical.

1353. Giving is biblical. You ready?

1354. If you taste Jesus, you don't need to keep alcohol in your

1355. life. Stop looking for scriptures that

1356. tell you specifically. I don't care if you got a weed

  1357. license, I don't care if it's a plant.

1358. You really taste Jesus. It's no greater joy.

1359. Whatever you do. This week your church has

1360. offered you another opportunity in 2-3 days to gather with the

1361. Saints, worship, get some word in you.

1362. Because if the truth sets you free, you're free indeed.

1363. Forget a quick deliverance, drive your strongholds out with

1364. the Word of God, and you'll be free indeed.

1365. I am not free this way because I had a demon cast out of me and I

1366. rolled around on the altar and I snotted on a mat.

1367. I am free because the day I made my mind up, I stayed around His

1368. Saints, I stayed in His Word, I stayed worshipping and I let the

1369. Word do what it's supposed to do.

1370. You ready? If you're not going to follow

1371. Jesus, don't bring another kid in this world.

1372. If you're not going to follow Jesus, don't ask to marry

1373. nobody, and don't ask nobody to marry you.

1374. These are clear instructions that I'm giving some of y'all.

1375. Like it or not, rude or not, remember that I told you this.

1376. This is a season, straight up. God wants you to himself.

1377. And he tried to let you have what you wanted and work him in,

1378. but it won't work. God wants you to himself.

1379. You cannot undo what you're in, but you can do right as you move

1380. forward. We're going to take a few

1381. minutes. You can go home, whatever you

1382. got to do. We're going to take a few

1383. minutes and have a Say Law moment.

1384. For those that don't understand what Say Law is, it's when they

1385. allow the minstrels to play as the word is pondered and

1386. meditated on. If you want to use this

1387. opportunity to go home, please, But what I'm not going to do is

1388. give you this quick ending and then go home.

1389. And then we've socialized and the severity of this word is

1390. overlooked. I'm here to tell you God is not

1391. rude. Jesus is not rude.

1392. Someone that makes these abrupt decisions in your life, someone

1393. that is interrupting you, someone that will not leave you

1394. alone nor forsake you so that you can live the life that He

1395. created you for. That's not rude.

1396. What is rude is those friends that let you get away with

1397. rebellion and won't tell you. What is rude is to be a parent,

1398. to be a friend, to be a child, to be a student, to be a peer,

1399. to be a Co worker and allow disobedience to function around

1400. you and don't say nothing. That's rude.

1401. What's rude is you hang around lost friends and you won't

1402. preach Jesus to them. That's rude.

1403. What's rude is you won't make the decisions to change for your

1404. children. That's rude because for God so

1405. loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son.

1406. God gave a life. You can give up a.

1407. Cup God gave a life, you can give up a joint.

1408. I just feel the Lord is saying He is trying to do something

1409. right now in some people's hearts.

1410. And you can be too familiar with my voice or you can hear God's

1411. word and take a few moments and just listen and say, Lord,

1412. search my heart that I might not sin against you.

1413. I buried a word in my heart that I might not sin against you and

1414. truly give the Holy Spirit of space to bring conviction.

1415. And He's not asking you to do everything at once.

1416. But man, this week you got to take some steps towards Him.

1417. Sons and daughters are coming home.

1418. Take a few moments, Lord, What are you saying to me?

1419. Glory to glory. Lord, forgive us.

1420. A few more moments. Some of you stop doubting

1421. yourself. You can do it.

1422. You can walk away, you can put it down.

1423. I pray in this moment that the negotiating in your mind ceases.

1424. Being stuck between two decisions?

1425. Cease. Stuck between two lives?

1426. Cease. Make a decisive dedication

1427. today. I hear Jesus so clearly.

1428. Simple, follow me. We've made it about finding a

1429. church home. We've made it about so many

1430. other things. And it's simple.

1431. Follow me. I want to lead.

1432. You follow me. Follow me.

1433. Two more minutes. Follow me.

1434. There's some of you in here that have laid down your call because

1435. you're just busy with work. It doesn't mean that there's not

1436. purpose in your work, and this is not for everybody, but there

1437. is an higher call. And realistically, everybody's

1438. busy with something, but we must be intentional with our time and

1439. intentional with our call. I just hear, I just really hear

1440. the Lord for a few of you, or the Lord's like, pick it back

1441. up. I'll give you wisdom and how to

1442. navigate both and how to navigate.

1443. All of it. Pick the mantle back up, pick

1444. the call back up. You can do it.

1445. It will take you to prioritize some things.

1446. And for whoever this is. For forgive yourself, forgive

1447. yourself. We've all been stupid carpenters

1448. building stupid old houses, and by the mercy and the grace of

1449. God, He's allowed the house to crumble while He preserved us.

1450. Why don't you? Celebrate you not being

1451. destroyed, although the house was.

1452. I promise you a year from now you're going to look back and

1453. say I'm glad he didn't let that stand.

1454. Those that are hungry and thirsty for righteousness shall

1455. be filled. Whatever you're hungry for,

1456. whatever you're thirsty for, it will fill you but not fulfill

  1457. you. Like Jesus.

1458. Some of us are full off the wrong stuff.

1459. I will say as the word says. The day you hear my voice.

1460. Harden not your heart, Church. The Lord is calling us back to

1461. Himself and I don't know how many people in here have ears to

1462. hear. But I pray you heard through the

1463. laughter, through the length, through the cries.

1464. I pray you heard from the Lord somewhere in your heart and your

  1465. spirit. Storms are coming.

1466. No one is exempt, but what really matters is what ear is

1467. your foundation made of? I'm glad to say that not because

1468. I'm so tough, but I know what's in my foundation.

1469. And I'm glad that my wife and I did the work to rebuild our

1470. foundation. And I'm glad my grandma and my

1471. mom laid down a firm foundation for us.

1472. And my prayer today to you is if you know that you've been

1473. building on saying that you make the decision tonight to stop and

1474. build right on the rock. Christ the solid rock.

1475. I stand all other ground sinking sand up on this rock, he says.

1476. I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.

1477. Hell prevails in houses that's built on sand.

1478. I declare over you today no more.

1479. Today is the final notice to all of hell.

1480. No more you shall steal. No more you shall bind.

1481. No more you shall lie, no more. And I will not believe you no

1482. more. Today I declare over you that

1483. you will take the word and it will become your fortress.

1484. It will become your strength. It will become with you.

1485. Stand on trust in. It will become what you find

1486. your identity in. I declare that fear will not be

1487. your medicine, that doubt and unbelief will not be your

1488. fortress. I declare today that you will

1489. not find your identity in your trauma, but you will find your

1490. identity in the King of King and the Lord of Lords.

1491. Today I declare for some of you that you will take your life

1492. back. You will take your identity in

1493. Christ back. Now I ask you Saints for 60

1494. seconds to lean over to your neighbor and pray for them now,

1495. with fervor and with authority. Come on, pray for them.

1496. Let them hear you praying for them.

1497. Come on, God, do it. Come on, I take my life back.

1498. I take my courage back. I take my boldness back.

1499. I take my strength back. I take my peace back.

1500. I take my joy back. I take my love back.

  1501. Come on. Come on.

1502. Come on, you are free from that noose around your neck.

1503. You are free from that bondage. You are free.

1504. From that curse you are free. From that lie you are free.

1505. From that stronghold, you are free in the name of Jesus.

1506. Pain will not stop you. The lies will not stop you.

1507. We, the family, spirit of powerful, spirit of life, spirit

1508. of God, we need the fear of the Lord.

1509. We want to thank you so much for tuning into this week's sermon.

1510. We pray you were challenged, equipped and encouraged.

1511. Make sure to follow us on all platforms.

1512. That's Lovequest Intl church. We out here for real.

1513. We're really doing it. That's Facebook, Instagram,

  1514. YouTube. And TikTok.

1515. You can find us anywhere you need to find us, but until next

1516. time, you know the drill, you know the motto.

1517. Get your love fixed man and we'll see y'all real soon.
