Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Love Quest International

Church Podcast where we seek to love all nations, equip the

church, mobilize the equipped, and serve all.

We're super glad you're joining us from whenever and wherever

you're at in the world. Welcome to the family to get

your Bibles ready, get some water, get some coffee, maybe

some tea, and get ready to receive.

It's go time. Let's get into it.

You may be seated next to your your, your crazy neighbor in

Jesus name. Hallelujah, Father, in the name

of Jesus, come on, pray with me. Father, in the name of Jesus, I

thank you. That today will not be a wasted

day. Come on.

Today will be a day that the enemy finds out he is defeated.

Today will be a day that the enemy finds out he no longer can

stay in my bloodline. Come on.

Today will be a day of victory. Today will be a day of turning

around. Today will be a day of hope.

Today will be a day of joy. Today will be a day of victory

in Jesus name. Come on Father, today will be a

new day. This is the day the Lord has

made. I will rejoice and be glad in

it, in Jesus name. Come on, come on.

This is my day, not the devil's day.

This is my victory, not Hell's victory.

Today is my turn around in Jesus name.

Come on, look at your neighbors. Say today is my day.

Come on, tell your neighbor you can leave your victory on the

table. I'll take it.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you.

We are free from error, me free from speaking it, us free from

hearing in error. We are not stupid carpenters,

therefore we don't stand on stupid foundations, nor live in

stupid houses, nor have stupid friends.

We are smart carpenters. We have a house built on the

rock, so wind, come on, rain, come on.

But at the end of the storm, guess what, We'll be stronger.

And so we will hear correctly today, not offensively.

At least 75 or more passages are in the four gospels that speak

about how Jesus caused division, how Jesus upset people, how

Jesus stirred things up in communities, and how Jesus

brought offense. Jesus brought offense.

Jesus brought offence. Jesus brought offence.

Jesus. People begged him to leave town.

Demons begged him to leave them alone.

People plotted to kill Jesus. Friends abandoned Jesus, People

yelled. Crucified Jesus.

His own disciples doubted him and abandoned him.

We Northern Americans, right, You can call it.

What's that drink? All these crazy Canadians want

to change an americano into a Canadiano.

Whatever you want to call it, it's an Americano, guys.

Allowing a man or a place to drive you crazy, man, I'll drink

an Americano. I'll play in the Devil's Cup.

I'll admit man, the devil don't got no power over me because I

play in a tournament called the Devil's Cup.

You didn't gave, you didn't gave America.

You didn't gave the devil lattes.

Y'all crazy man? We Northern American Christians

have become very artful in conflict avoidance.

Every time the gospel has been proclaimed boldly and accurately

in church history, there has been persecution.

Every time the church speaks out to confront ungodliness in the

culture or in our lives, there is backlash.

Jesus boldly and lovingly spoke truth, and for that he caused

offense. He divided the crowds.

He aroused fierce enmity and animosity.

Jesus calls fierce enmity and animosity.

He stirred it up. If we proclaim biblical truth to

a dark and needy world, we will get the very same reaction.

They hated him so much they sent Him to the cross.

Stop twisting yourself in knots to make Christianity

inoffensive. Christianity is offensive or it

ain't Christianity. The gospel is offensive or it

ain't the gospel. It comes from heaven and it

rebukes our sinful world and ways.

Maybe your family will get saved if you stop watering down the

gospel. Christ was not celebrated.

But we steadily come to church to be seen.

Christ wasn't rude, He was just. Bold but rude is how the

offended, defined courageous define you.

For being courageous. For speaking unadulterated,

uncompromised, not watered. Down truth, but it's the truth

of the gospel, right? Not your personal truth and

opinion because you don't got a problem telling people how you

feel about what you think is right, but to put God's reality

in your mouth. We have trouble with here it is

EJ the gospel is not or the gospel is incomplete if the

cross is the only imagery and posture we see in cell.

The gospel is not complete if it stays at the cross.

Pharisees and scribes, known for their strict interpretation of

Jewish law, often clash with Jesus over his disregard for

traditional practices. They accused him of blasphemy,

for claiming to be the Son of God and of disobeying.

I need you to understand this. They read the books that

prophesied his coming and then when he said I'm here, they

missed it. His truth was so truth they was

offended. There was Herodians.

These were political factions. Now I want you to understand

the. Every group I'm naming, the

spirit of that group is in the church today, and it's here

today. Pharisees religious spirit,

Herodians political spirit supporting the rule of Herod and

they also oppose Jesus due to his growing popularity and the

potential threat he posed to the existing power structure.

Roman soldiers, soldiers who mocked and crucified Jesus, saw

his claim to be the king of the Jews as a challenge to the

Roman. Authority and empire.

They they further mocked and humiliated him before his

execution. You see crowds in the synagogue

of Nazareth and Jesus claimed to be the fulfillment of Isaiah's

prophecy about the Messiah and you see Jesus own family.

Jesus rebukes his family, implying that they were not his

true family. If you was here last week, you

would have heard that scripture because we we spat it off a few

scriptures where Jesus, Jesus was, was rude.

No, no, no, no. In today's time you would say

Jesus was very rude. You would leave this church,

Jesus would be on social media and they would cut out.

Clips. And not get the true story like

they're doing Marvin Sapp about closing the door, right?

Jesus was taken out of context because he was trying to get

humanity back into garden context.

So what we've done is we have punked pastors into giving us

something we actually don't need.

That's a soft, watered down gospel.

No accountability. We don't want counseling that

tells us to stop sleeping around.

Don't get to, don't don't, don't live together.

I'm married. We don't want, we don't want

real marital counselor or premarital counselor.

We don't want no restrictions, no boundaries, nothing.

As long as I know he loves me, I can smoke weed.

I can drink all day. I can.

Ah, messed up. Grace.

Yeah, Grace is grace. The grace corrects.

So you wonder why the church here in North America don't have

no power? It's watered down and his, his

power only backs truth, For I'm unashamed of the gospel, for it

is the right. The power is in unashamedness.

The power is in courageousness, right?

Other instances we see Jesus offends over and over.

We even see in his own hometown, there's only one place a prophet

isn't honored. It says his own hometown.

So then we see it in this church, right?

I can come preach every week, but it's only a matter of time

before that's just PT so you no longer see the anointing.

It's only a matter of time before that's his love quest.

You no longer are hungry and thirsty like you used to be.

And you wonder why miracles do not happen in a church.

It's because we but we frame programs to make you familiar

with it. So you come to a church like

this that don't mind what you think, don't care if you come

back as long as the Holy Spirit have its way.

Why? Because familiarity robs

miracles. So yeah, you might be able to

plan your life around a church service on Sunday and know if

you get in there at 8, you're going to leave at 9:15.

But tell me when the last miracle was performed in that

church, when the last time the Holy Ghost overtook that?

Place. No, you, you, you need to get

out at 9:00. 15 And guess what that pastor going to do is so he

going, he's all week curating a message and he's practicing so

he can time it for that 30 minutes to make sure you get out

and you happy with that. And that's order.

Well, let's look at Jesus. How much order did Jesus have?

Right, I'm just. Saying, have we ever just really

looked at Jesus or we just stopped at John 316?

Have you ever just like read through the Bible and just heard

the stories? When's the last time you prayed

that somebody that was attacking your family, you asked God to

break his arm? Oh, we don't know how to pray

like that. It's funny, but we sing songs

from the Psalms, but we don't pray prayers from the Psalms.

Somebody's attacking your family.

Pray in the name of Jesus like David did.

You can't have a Davidic culture that don't know how to war.

All you know how to do is dance, but you don't know how to pray.

Lord, break his hands. See what you think.

Break his arms. Is is like how we break arms.

No God breaking arms. I mean take his hands off of my

house. Lord cut the tongue out.

He's like oh that's so, so harmful.

You can't be a pastor and pray that kind of prayer.

Yes I can Lord get they mouth off of me.

Where's that church that know how to war for they city?

Right. That's the kind of prayers that

was in the Bible, right? Like, like, like, like

Pharisees, right? They did not.

Not Pharisees, but the the Egyptians came after the

Israelites and God swallowed them up.

Like God, you fools, now you're dead.

Is he mean? Is he a murderer?

Not at all. See, that's the issue.

If you don't know his love, you don't know his intent.

So then you think everybody that got flooded out in Genesis, that

was God being cruel. But you didn't see if you was

here Wednesday, you would understand that the Father had

to had to allow everybody die, to die so he can redeem

humanity. Everybody that was caught up in

the flood, where do you think they are?

Hell no. See, you see death one day.

You want one way you see death as an end or it's over, or mean

or cruel or evil? No, you actually got to die to

get back to glory, like death is in a door.

Why does God allow all this evil to happen?

Well, in the body? Do you read the scripture?

Every. He works everything together for

our good. Everything.

So you need baking soda to make some baking goods?

Would you eat baking soda by itself?

I'll brush my teeth with baking soda sometime, but you know what

I'm saying, right? There are some nasty ingredients

in a very tasteful finished product.

But if you don't see the love of God, you don't know the love of

God. All you think of is dark and

death. And you don't even ought to read

the Bible if you don't know God's love.

What lens are you reading? The Word?

And so, yeah, in our flesh, Jesus has been rude.

God has been rude. And whether you have said that

or not, you have acted that way. How dare you interrupt my life?

How dare you ask me to say all that?

How dare you ignore me? How dare you allow my marriage

to, to be, to, to, to come to an end.

How dare you allow my child to die?

How dare you right you. That is rude.

That's disruptive. That's inconsiderate, right?

You're in a service too long. How dare you?

I'm at church and it's like I got to go.

How dare you, right? We've all considered.

And when you consider his church rude, you consider him rude.

Why? Because he, unlike us, he

doesn't disconnect his headship from his body.

And he says their unbelief, here it is, kept him from doing many

mighty miracles. And this is the question I have

to you today as we venture in this interesting way to look at

Jesus. Is he offensive or do you just

not believe? Are you continuously asking

questions to delay? Do you need another sign because

you don't believe we're like Mary you just trying to get

understanding new don't go no, please do not put my son.

Don't be prophetic. Thank you Hallelujah.

Follow me. Because in our actions when God

asked us to do something, we really act like he's being rude

for asking us. What do you do when someone's

being rude? Ignore him.

Resist them. Is he offensive or you just

don't believe? You don't trust or you don't

have faith? We're there.

Let's go. You ready?

Don't be offended with the call to salvation.

Be offended that you still struggle having joy.

Be offended that you keep attracting the same kind of men

and women in your life. Be offended that you still

insecure. Be offended that you still

compare yourself. Be offended that you still have

anger issues, or you're bitter, or you don't know how to

forgive. Be offended that you still

watching porn knowing it's not right.

Be you're offended with the wrong stuff, at the wrong

people, with the wrong God. The stuff we get offended about

is crazy. Here's Ruth.

It is. It is behaving in ways that are

inconsiderate, insensitive, deliberately offensive.

Impolite, obscene, or that violate taboos.

In some cases, an act of rudeness can go so far as to be

a crime, like hate speech, right?

You could also add inconvenience.

Now look at this definition of rude and do not tell me, even in

your own mind, or your own spirit or your flesh, you have

not thought that a request from God.

A sermon, right The the sermons that we like.

He can't be talking to me. I don't know who he yelling at

right? He telling my business, I don't

even know you. I'm not telling your business

the Holy Ghost, right? Or.

No, lift your hands up challenging you on what worship

is right. That's kind of like Jesus.

Like that's not going to let you be comfortable.

Insensitive. My, my, my leg hurt.

That's why I'm sitting down. PT Well, maybe if you hear you

don't think God know your leg hurt.

Maybe if you don't be offended, you can hear the pastor or the

worship leader that's inviting you to stand despite your leg

hurting as an opportunity to be healed.

But you so worried about being inconvenienced you think the

worship leader is inconsiderate. Now you offended and God can't

produce miracles because why you too familiar?

Obscene. Impolite.

Wait a minute, Jesus ignored we. Should we read that last week?

He. Ignored a few people, That's not

polite. But if you understood His intent

in His heart, you would see the ignoring had to do first of all

with timing #2 that that resistance or ignoring drew a

faith and desperation that pulled on heaven.

And sometime when you're not getting your way with God, maybe

He's asking you to go deeper. Maybe deeper does not mean no

not now is not a not. Forever, This is what the enemy

wants us to do is be baited in to offense.

Here it is. Obedience can be delayed when

context is misplaced. Understanding is wandering.

Wandering and offense is rooted. Oh some folks put they put they

heels in offense. Pride.

I mean you don't have no understanding on what's being

asked for you and then you too pry for the ask for

clarification or understanding. Here it is.

But some of y'all ask for clarifications because you have

belief issues. That's why I'm I'm I'm so done

with arguing with people that come with this intellectual

question after church about a scripture that was quoted.

And you really do not want understanding.

You are searching for understanding to to because you

feel your truth being uprooted. So in the in the kind.

Christian way you like? Hey PT, that was a great word

today. Can I get some understanding on

this one passage? But if you really just pause for

a minute, why are you just that person that that that that like

come on Wednesday, be like the Bereans and go watch the sermon

on on Monday and Word? Search and ask God to reveal it

to you. The post office for sure got

more mailed in the mailman. But you should go where I got

the mail from, and you probably get some more letters that you

can open that will give you context and understanding,

right? Obedience can be delayed when

context is misplaced. Understanding is wandering.

Understanding is wandering. You don't want, you don't.

You don't need understanding. You need to discipline your

understanding. Because some of y'all get

understanding on Sunday and then by Monday you'll understand and

get uprooted. And now it starts wandering how

it gets you on YouTube looking at other opinions and you share

your understanding with somebody who wasn't in the house that

day. You didn't know that you got

understanding through Revelation and now you trying to take them

to a scripture and they like that don't make sense.

And because you haven't sat with it long enough yourself, you

can't explain it or teach it. And your lack of being able to

explain it and teach it now has you in a situation where

somebody needs understanding on a carnal level.

When you received it from heaven, they trying to receive

it from you. That's why some stuff that you

get from God sit on it before you goes preaching it.

Hallelujah. Don't be offended with the call

to salvation. Be offended with the the

momentum hell has around you. Oh my God, anybody hear me on

this side? Anybody hear me on this side?

Do not be offended with the call to salvation.

Be offended with the momentum that hell has around.

You. I'm going to read that again, Be

offended with the momentum that hell has around you.

Family members keep getting sick.

The spirit of death is running, rapping in your family.

Poverty is hitting your family, divorce, alcoholism, Hell's

going on around here and you going to get offended as

somebody asks you to raise your hand in a servant.

Be offended at the hell that's breaking out in your life.

Be offended, you unfaithful, Be offended that you not

consistent. Be offended.

You a procrastinator. We see Genesis 7, he says come

into the ark. What do you mean?

Go back to the slide before that.

Please don't be offended with the call to salvation.

Anytime God corrects, anytime God interrupts, he's calling you

into the ark. He's like you.

You thought you was on a cruise and you arrived out of town

where you could just go off and just be a tourist.

No, you're not called to be a tourist of the world.

You didn't got out your off your oh, you didn't got off the boat

and start walking around and shopping at the little worldly

stores and and and now you went and the guy's like get back in

the ark. He's like, that is rude.

I was just last call. What you mean last call?

I was just we was just having a good time.

No, no, no, no, you have gotten too comfortable on the tour.

We are visitors. We're on the visiting team.

If you ever play sports, the if you're the visiting team, the

place you're playing, they're not supposed to cheer for you.

So when you stand for the gospel, when you stand for the

Kingdom of God, people aren't supposed to cheer for you.

You're not supposed to be accepted.

Just come, come into the Ark. We read that last week, so I'm

not going to read it this week. You say come into the Ark

because I found you. I'm inviting you in because I

found you. You want the rest of your family

saved. I'm not calling your family into

it. I'm calling you.

OK. And then I and then he says, and

they went into the ark. They went in.

Somebody said they went in. Come on, say they smart.

Yeah, they went in. They smart.

They went in as God had commanded.

Say they smart. Here it is.

And we learned this last week. And the Lord shut them in,

right? You would see that as rude

because as we drew the picture last week, Noah had to It was

his Noah, his wife, his three sons, their three, their three

wives, 8 of them, and then the rest is animals, male and female

of each kind. The rest of humanity on the

other side of that door. Let me, let me help you.

Husband, wife, no cousins, no aunties, no brothers.

Can you imagine the other side of that door?

And you wonder why God shut the door?

Because you couldn't. You was too emotionally tied.

You had no ability to walk away. You was telling me I'm a break

away. You.

You keep meeting with your girlfriend.

Oh my God girl, I just can you just pray for me?

No, some stuff don't need praying for it.

You trying to pray for something you supposed to walk away from?

You want closure? No, God closed it.

You better man, you better learn.

You better learn how to thank God for doors he shut and he you

ready and he don't got to show you why.

Let me tell. Let me tell you first of all,

you know why you know why? Hey, you saw signs.

You just didn't want to believe it because they was friends and

family, right? And and your hope for their

change does not have to change. But while you trying to figure

your life out, I don't got to be entangled with you.

You got to be OK with not knowing.

What he saved you from. But anytime God shuts a door or

snatches you out of something he was saving you from, man, I'm

trying to encourage. I'm trying to encourage somebody

right now. See, because if God told you

what he was saving you from, some of y'all be like, I could

have, I could have, I could have survived that.

No, they would have. Did that see you?

You, you, you. Go day-to-day and you just you

just kind of base your relationships based on who that

person is revealed today to be. God knows who they about to

become. Trying to help somebody.

Anybody, just three people helped.

when God bless you, then people that didn't help you build, you

got to trust who God called you to get in the ark with is more

than enough because it's going to be some people when you get

in that, when you get on that ark, when you get that business

up and going, when you get in that relationship.

You going to hear them? They drown and they drown.

Hey, look like you got it, but you got to know that that God is

not done with them, although they're done with.

You. You got to know that God has a

plan, see, and you're so worried about preserving the.

Past that, you don't understand the millions of people before

you that need you to build this ark come in.

He didn't kill nobody. He preserved everybody.

God is trying to establish a covenant with some of y'all.

The Richmond family and the Mancini family and the Hardiman

family will never be the same ever.

Ever. The the the enemy is forever

defeated in my bloodline. Never.

Because we made a decision to get in the Ark and let God shut

the door. Us coming to Canada was getting

in the Ark and God shut the door.

We had grieving family members. My wife lost her mom right

before we moved. I lost my grandmother the month

after we moved. There's a lot of stuff we left

behind, but now when I go back I actually have more to offer.

Than people because. Familiarity would have robbed my

growth and promotion. Some of y'all promotion ain't.

You don't need to pray for promotion no more.

You need to get out from amongst who you're around.

Cuz promotion will be your. Promotion will be your.

Any increase will be sabotaged, not by you, but those around.

You. You look at it with the wealthy

all of a sudden. You my cousin, I ain't never

heard from you. Now I'm I'm a billionaire and

now you talk about what's up cuz no, let the Lord close the door.

And then all you go, you, you giving your money to all your

new friends. Man, remember we used to play

together when we was 2. But that was the last time I saw

you. I left you in the in the in the

playpen. I ain't seen you no more.

My Mama don't even like your Mama.

I got to keep it pushing. He didn't kill anyone.

He found someone to redeem everyone.

One day the church will be so big.

I ain't going to even bro, I ain't going to know it right

now. I can see everything and hear

She was like, this is the time, this is the time.

Right now. Right now.

Here it is. Today's going to be very good

man. We got some real good stuff to

get to you. Every act of God is an attempt

to restore, rebuild, redeem, and reveal His image and likeness in

and through your life. Every act of God, He doesn't

waste. Acts.

He doesn't waste moves. He doesn't waste anything.

Every act of God is an attempt to restore, to rebuild, redeem

and reveal His image and likeness in and through your

life. If he interrupted you, he had a

plan for the interruption. He needed to get you somewhere.

He needed to get you disconnected from and get you

connected to. He needed to get something to

you and through you. If he's.

If he's. Attempted to interrupt if he's

attempted to close. If he's attempted to open, he

has a plan. He knows better.

He knows more about you than you know about yourself.

So learn how to rest in interruption.

Because we we don't mind our suddenly blessing sometimes.

You need to settle down when there's a suddenly interruption.

Every act of rudeness is Jesus inviting you into the ark of

salvation. I wrote down here.

I'm just trying to help. I, I think Jesus have attitude

back with you. We see it.

He got attitude all through the Bible.

I'm just trying to help. I'm not trying to be rude.

I'm doing this all for you. I'm doing this.

I came for you how you got you, The one that's caught in the

thickets and you caught in a hot mess.

I come to say to you it's like it's like you in a fire.

Fire department. Come, Ma'am, Sir, are you in

here? Are you like yes, saving?

And he gets to you in all the smoke and he says, grab a hold

of my leg. You like what?

Grab a hold of my leg. It's like the house is burning

down and you want to sign. You're trying to question the

savior. Yo, it ain't enough.

Your house burning. It ain't enough.

That you and your friend keep having the same argument over

and over. It ain't enough.

They stole from you one time 3 * 5 times.

It ain't enough. He cheated on you twice.

It ain't enough. He hit you 2 * 1 time.

Somebody say one time, right? It ain't enough.

He lied to you 3 times. How many sorries you need to

figure out he's sorry? Y'all get that for social media

all right? Jesus, Jesus.

Jesus leads. With her, huh?

What'd you say? Amen.

Because you was talking loud. Amen.

We're family. This is the father's house,

right? When dad's home, everyone's

relaxed, right? God is in the house.

This is his house. So we can laugh, cry, be

offended, all that in one serve. If you ever, if you have a

family, there's not a day go by that somebody ain't offended.

Somebody laughing some. You get what I'm saying?

Like, come on, this is, this is our Father's house, right?

Jesus leads with urgency, zeal. This this is a very important

point. For where we're going, Jesus

leads with urgency and zeal and intentionality.

We often move with suspicion, control, and complacency.

Jesus doesn't waste moves is why his ministry three years.

But was his ministry three years or was his ministry eternity?

Because every time I read the Bible, that's Jesus ministry.

Every time I preach, every time God gives you a pastor, guess

what that is? That's Jesus ministry.

cattle. He didn't just run the religious

folks out, he ran their money out.

Can you imagine the cat together?

Just everybody, just 'cause. You see everybody.

It's like I'm a cow right now. You just see.

Everybody you see, everybody like that ain't Jesus.

He stampeded the sheep and cattle up, ending the tables of

the loan sharks. Look, spilling coins left and

right. He took their money and threw it

all over the place. He didn't just get out of here.

Guys, I love you, but please. I came up in there and he was

doing. They're taking advantage of

people. On top of that, they are keeping

certain people out of being able to make sacrifices because

they're hiking up the prices on these sacrifices.

That that's when disciples remembered the scripture.

Oh, this brother, See, they went to Why?

Why is he? Flipping out right now because

they was like, oh, the scriptures zeal for your house

consumes you. Where was that found at?

OK, before we get there, say somebody, somebody say zeal.

Everybody has zeal, OK, Everybody has.

football game, or just in a relationship that just ended and

be musicians and choir members and worship members and be and

be sleeping around with everybody.

Not going to turn my house into a, a dating community where you

find your spouse at. You're not going to turn my

house into a place where you get clients and build your business

off of people. Look what he's saying.

Everybody want peace and prosperity, but watch how he

This is what I know about me. He saved me when I didn't want

to save myself. He loved me when I didn't know

stop keeping love out because you don't know how to love you

if you ain't going to love you right?

Let somebody that know how to love love you.

Amplified classics say the zeal of the Lord of hosts will

perform this peace, prosperity. There is no peace or prosperity

in God's house. That's that's not at least

frequently cleaned out. So no Sundays for a month.

What was we doing turning over tables, whipping that religious

mindset? What is David's throne and

Kingdom? It's a prophetic promise in the

Bible, primarily associated with the lineage of King David and

the future of Messiah Jesus, a divinely established, lasting

Kingdom and the eventual reign of a King or Jesus.

Not or. But like King Jesus, who will

inherit and continue David's legacy.

We actually have a legacy to continue, not a problem to get

out of. Church is not your hospital.

It's not the place where you come and be a victim.

It's not a place where you just remain in triage or remain in

the emergency room. It's not a place where you just

get band aids. You actually get.

A new life, it says. The zeal of the king.

What is zeal before we move forward?

Jealousy. Jealousy.

The Bible says that he's a jealous God.

Not like you are jealous or not like I get jealous.

Because he also says don't be no envy but not like we are

envious, not like like you are envious.

He takes pride in you. He doesn't want to share you

aside from y'all. What do I mean by that?

He does not want you to make idols out of nothing or no one.

Love your kids. But not more than Jesus.

Love your spouse but don't let them replace Jesus.

You turn up with your spouse, you get all romantic you get but

when it come to church or when it come to serving you casual

and. All of that.

But you see, everybody gets zealous about something.

You're getting zealous about the wrong thing.

You're getting envious about the wrong thing.

You're getting jealous about the wrong things.

What is this zeal? It's intense, passionate

emotion, sometimes even translated as the burn to burn

with zeal. Those that are hungry and

thirsty for righteousness shall be what filled.

It's not just it says the the the fervent and.

Effectual prayers, prayer with zeal makes tremendous power

available. So when we're giving you moments

to pray, there's a time to be like.

But some of y'all watch people pray too much and wonder why

stuff ain't popping off in your life.

Some of y'all ask for prayer. More than you.

Develop a prayer life. He's not rude.

It's his mandate to get you back home.

It's his mission to get you back home.

And sometimes when he's interrupting your life, he's

mourning who you used to be because he was in the garden

when sin didn't grip you. Sometimes he's interrupting your

life because he is mourning. He is grieving.

Smart carpenters build on the righteousness of God's Kingdom.

Stupid carpenters build on the self righteousness of this

world. Stop.

You ready? Stop spending your passion on,

poison the stuff you allow yourself to get passionate about

and then you come here on Sunday and can't even put no passion in

the worship. You put passion in your

business. You put passion into telling

people how, how, how upset you are at them.

You'll let somebody some of y'all got road rage have worship

rage. Like, come in here mad at the

devil. Forget somebody who cut you off

on the freeway. Every time somebody cut me off

on the freeway, I just believe that God's saving me from

something. And then I got a little quiet

prayer. Hope they crashed in front of me

or something so I could drive by them and wave at them.

Die. Tell y'all like, is he serious

right now? Is he serious right now?

I'll leave that for you to figure it out.

Stop spending your passion on poison.

Like what do you get passionate about?

You actually need passion as fuel.

I don't always want to come on a Wednesday night, meaning like my

body is tired and things of that nature, but I know how to stir

up my passion so that when I come here I can do what God

asked me to do without any grudge.

Some of you sow into toxicity and terrible terrain and you

wonder why you get toxic and terrible harvest.

Somebody say rude, All right, He said go away for the girl that's

not dead, but she's sleeping. And they laughed.

OK, Mr. Jesus, can you just let us grieve over our dead niece?

He's like, what are y'all like? She's not dead, she's sleep.

So this is what he does. He kicks them out and then we

see in the next scripture, the girl got up.

Your offense with Jesus, with Jesus Zeal is keeping things

dead. He ordained to be alive.

I'm going to say it again. Your offense with Jesus Zeal is

Sometimes Jesus Zeal is saying now, not in a month.

Sometimes he's saying today, not tomorrow.

Sometimes he said, come get prayer, come to the altar, call

work, lift your hands, lead that relationship today, not

tomorrow, not another day. That's his zeal.

That's urgency. Hey, hey, I'm.

I'm sorry, I thought I. Could, but after thinking and

talking to my support group I don't think we can be a thing no

more. I'm I'm so sorry for

inconveniencing you. Have you ever went to a

restaurant and the service was terrible before your food came?

And you like look see you later bye bye right?

Some of y'all are too cowardly to leave a place you sat.

Down even though you get in bad service.

That man deserves to serve you better.

That woman deserves to serve you better.

Is it a ring on it? It is it.

Y'all got kids. Some of y'all stay around stuff

too long for potential and it's like how are you going to put

him or her before you fully know who you are?

That's crazy. And it is is It's not that hard

when you're more zealous for Jesus than to fix your

loneliness and you think you're going to serve God better with a

man or a woman or job or promotion or millions of

dollars. No, that's his zeal calling you

to Himself. That's his zeal calling you to

singleness. That's his zeal.

Have you ever thought he's not trying to keep anything from

you? He's trying to get everything he

planned for you to you? Your doubt is keeping her dead.

That's what he says. Your doubt is rude, not you.

Ready. Your doubt is rude to God's

promises. Who's the rude one?

The person that won't listen or the person that's relentless

into trying to get you into what he created you for?

Some of y'all be rude because y'all be falling asleep in

church. That is rude to me.

I have I have been up, I have studied to bring you a word and

you got the nerves to fall asleep.

So when God spits on your life, do not be offended.

Understand he is smearing his DNA on your mess so he can

redeem. Your life get excited about it

because I'm in a posture of peace and I trust what God said

about your storm. So stop trying to wake me up to

God is your witness. That's serious.

What ridiculous hair splitting, What difference does it make

A promise is a promise. What difference is it make if

you make your promise? Inside or outside a house or of

worship, a promise is a promise. God is present.

It's like, what's the difference if you cuss at church or you

cuss at home, cussers. God's at home with you.

You don't drink here, but you drink out there.

God's out there with you. You say all the right scriptural

stuff here, but not out there. God's out there with you.

God is present, watching, and holding you to account

regardless. You're hopeless.

He says it again. So I just changed the color.

You're religious scholars and Pharisees.

Frauds. He calls them frauds.

He continues to repeat himself. You keep meticulous account

books. Here it is, tithing on every

nickel and dime you get, but on the meat of God's law.

Things like fairness and compassion and commitment.

The absolute basics you carelessly take or leave now so

you can hear correctly. He did not.

Hear here it is. Jesus says tithing is something

we are blessed to do. He's correcting them, saying you

are being religious about this one thing, but when it comes to

love, it's like when it comes to how you treat people, when it

comes to forgiving the adulteress, it's like, but you

want to be strict and orderly about these other things,

bookkeeping and service flow and all these other things.

But when it comes to just loving and making this like the basic

stuff, it's like careful bookkeeping is commendable, but

the basics are required. Do you have any idea how silly

you look? Who's talking?

Jesus is still talking. And I can imagine while there

he's going off on them, they're just looking at him.

Just just writing a life story that's wrong from start to

finish, nitpicking over commas and semicolons.

You're hopeless, he says it again.

You religious scholars and Pharisees.

Frauds. This is a different scripture,

but same conversation. You buff the surface of your

cups and bowls so they sparkle in the sun while the insides are

maggoty with your greed and gluttony.

Who's talking Jesus? Who's he talking to?

The religious folks. He's not talking to the sinners.

He's not talking to the the loss, you're not talking to the

world. He's getting his house in order.

Look, I like this one stupid Pharisee who's talking.

Jesus might you the the the savior of the world.

Scour the insides, and then the gleaming surface will mean

something. Come to church looking cute, say

all the right things. You meditate.

You yoga. You have your beads, you you,

you're religious with your practices.

You wake up at you're in the 5:00 AM club.

You got your abs, you got your muscles.

You eat kale. Eating healthy is like not even

a a a a wrestle for you. All these things you pride

yourself in. I got I I saved money.

All you look at other people, how irresponsible, how you don't

got your license yet, how your car on flat, why you still

renting all this stuff you pride yourself in is your you, You,

you look good. You got all these conversations.

You can see that nice restaurant and you can brag with your

friends or how well you take care of family and all of that.

You're hopeless. Your religion scholars and

Pharisees. Frauds, he calls them again.

You're like manicured grave. Plots.

Grass clipped and and the flowers bright, but six feet

down is all rotten bones and warm eaten flesh.

People look at you and think you're Saints, but beneath the

skin you're total frogs. Who's talking Jesus?

Who's he talking to? The religious folks carrying the

law around like hey, he starts off the next passage.

You're hopeless. You would have left it here.

It is church hurt. No.

It's accountability. Can y'all hear me in the back?

Y'all y'all on to me? You hear me on the side and to

the windows to the OK. You with me?

You build granite tombs for your profits and marble monuments for

your teacher ministry. Jumpy houses for your children's

ministry, but your souls are a hot mess.

Like let's just make it practical right to you.

Like I don't have any tombstones or any any granite.

Does this just make it practical?

You say that if you had lived in the days of your ancestors, no

blood would have been on your hands.

You protest too much cut from the same cloth as those

murderers. In other words, practically,

let's just make let's just go in your house the same parents you

don't want to be like you're becoming like same pastor that

hurt you or ministry leader that hurt you in the last church.

Now you caused and hurt. See, we always call it church

hurt when it's from here to there.

But you never count how much hurt comes from there to here.

You know how church hurt is, is when the church ain't doing they

part. That's church hurt.

When everything out there is most important and here it's

optional. We build our house.

This is all scripture. You build in your house, you

invested in your property, you're buying your clothes,

you're doing all these things. But when it comes to my house,

for all the children that I have called from eternity, then it's

optional, then it's savings, then it's that's church hurt

too. When we let a group of people

carry the burden now we'll let them do it.

That's church hurt too. Thank God for those that are

willing to wear multiple hats because some can't stand with

one hat. So, so maybe I'm a I'm, I'm a

get weak a little bit sometime because I'm trying to hold the

and and, and here it is. Elder John, Jesus needed help

carrying his cross. So when that person, there's a

grace for those who are willing to not complain and say I can't,

I can't do it all. But for a moment, Lord, after I

could do all that I could do, then I could stand.

And God didn't say it was out of his will that somebody else

carried the cross for a moment. But did Jesus let him carry it

the rest of the way, or did? Jesus get some strength and he

took ownership for what he was called to.

Some of us are so quick and willing to pass off what we're

called to. That's church hurt too.

Cold blooded snakes. Do you think you can worm your

way out of this? Never have to pay the piper.

It's on account of people like you that I send prophets.

prophets and apostles out the land, so we can have religious

control. It's on account of people like

you that I send prophets and wise gods and scholars

generation after generation and generation after generation.

Treat them like dirt, greeting them with lynch mobs, hounding

them with abuse. You, you cannot squirm out of

this. Every drop of righteous blood

ever spilled on this earth, beginning with the blood of that

Goodman Abel, right down to the blood of Zechariah Barakiah's

Barakiah's son, whom you murdered at his prayers, is on

your head. All this, I'm telling you, it's

coming down on you, on your generation.

What was that prophecy coming to pass?

A zeal for his house, A zeal for the unjust that those that are

being mistreated. A zeal.

But the issue is is you don't you use your anger for sin, not

for righteousness and you're miss you're misdirecting your

passion. You need to be rude.

You need to hold people accountable.

You you need to not let anybody just act any old kind of way in

the church, yeah. Arguing over what you're going

to eat tonight for dinner? I'm hungry, that's why.

I don't know. When's the last time you got mad

and angry over the devil tearing up your house and instead of

arguing with your partner y'all came together and became an

army? Please get angry.

What's a zealous prayer without zealous actions?

Now I just read you Jesus. Yeah, he was rude.

For what? Righteousness sake?

What you got a nasty attitude for?

Can you get a Can you just get a Can you use that sassy mouth?

Are you ready? What did God use that murderous

Saul for? Oh, God, want to use your sassy

mouth? He's not trying to change your

sassy mouth. He just like talk like that.

To the enemy, not to your loved ones.

Don't snap on the lost person, because that's a bad witness.

Snap on the devil. For keeping alcohol in your

bloodline. For keeping sexual abuse in your

bloodline, For keeping sexual immorality in your bloodline.

Get use your passion for. Righteousness.

So I don't mind being rude for Jesus because trust me,

sometimes I get so tired of Jesus.

I was like God, why you keep on burdening me to tell the people

to lift their hands or to worship or stop looking at me

crazy. He's like cuss you helping me

hold my house to a standard that I died in Rose for.

So Lord, thank you. I thank you for sending me

leaders in my life that did not mind telling me how it is.

Thank you Lord, because if you had not been as zealous as you

were for me, we would not be here to fend off demons for me,

turned over tables for me, stood in the gap you faced religious

leaders on behalf people that they may know the Father.

So Lord, forgive us where we have ever been offended with you

or someone you have sent to us or your word or your interrupt.

Lord forgive us day we say thank you in Jesus name, Amen.

I'm going to set up a living room type setting up here.

After you eat, you sit on the couch with family and somebody

in the house just starts singing.

At least the grandma, somebody and then everybody starts

singing and then the song go down and folks, you know, do the

Little Rock and do all of that. And then you start talking about

the goodness of God. That's kind of house I grew up

in. You hear people testifying all

the time. And so that next Friday night,

OK. And then on Easter, we will be

here for 9:00 AM and 11:30. Do not miss it.

It will be powerful. The theme is glory to glory and

it's going to be a glorious time.

As you heard from Pastor Dylan earlier, we're we're very close

and, and God made it very clear that this first project is going

to be, is going to be taken care of by this house.

OK, Think about fundraising. It is amazing.

Doesn't necessarily require faith to give because you're

getting something. Think about a project like this

is you're just believing God to build his house for generations

to generations to generations. Last week we had 185 left.

For this phase and after last week we have 170.

So that's 15,000 came in last week.

So I told you that we need 20 people to give 1020 people to

give 525 people to give 150 people to give $50.

Now you might be like, oh, I could do the 50, but maybe you

can do 1000. But those that can do 1000,

maybe you can do 5000. Why am I saying that?

Because there's people who can't do nothing.

And I do know that God has blessed certain people with a

level of financial freedom that it can make up the difference

for those who are stuck, or shall I say they are.

How do we say it? They are.

I forget how how it's said in between the blessing.

There it is. You're in between the blessing.

You're not broke, you're not poor, you're just in between the

blessing. And so I believe 100% of the

people in here can give something today, but at least

100% of the people in here can begin to tithe.

If you have not already tithe, what is the tithe is 10% of your

income that you trust God and his church with.

And I promise you, he says, try me, I will pour out a blessing.

There will not be room enough to receive that.

There be meat in my house, my house.

So I believe God has already budgeted out what this house

needs, but he also needs you and me to extend our hand.

And I believe in this house we have cheerful givers.

Amen. Hallelujah.

That's 10 cheerful givers. That's all we need.

That's good. Hallelujah.

Stand to your feet. Hey, man, hope you got

something. I know that's you know, that's

one of the words you like. Oh, nothing.

But you laughed. So get over it.

Say don't always feel good, but it's always going well because

when God is at work, everything changes.

Put your hand on your neighbor's shoulder and pray for them for
